**MAJOR NEWS!** For Silver and Gold Stackers ⏱️⏱️ Mega-Bank say THIS! - Precious Metals NEWS - CHINA · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
Absolute historic times for the gold price and the silver price.
0:06
There's no other way to say it. Are we going to continue down
0:10
this path? It has been a wonderful journey
0:13
over what, the last six months, one year for the precious metals
0:17
markets. I've got some evidence, guys
0:20
from one of the big mega banks that we're going to look at.
0:23
Shocking, right? A mega bank.
0:25
You're going to know who they are when I share this with you.
0:28
They're talking about $6000 per oz gold soon and they're talking
0:34
about the prospect of $8000 gold.
0:36
And they also mention the silver price going to $309, right?
0:43
That it's not out of the question.
0:45
This is a mega bank. But there's so much going on, so
0:49
many reasons we can look at why things continue to look
0:53
optimistic for the silver price and the gold price.
0:56
We're going to cover about 8 of them first.
0:58
And then we're going to get to this, what I would call piece of
1:01
journalistic master master work from one of the leading sources
1:08
of, of information in the world of gold and silver.
1:12
But it's from it's from it's data from the mega.
1:15
I I'm like at a loss for words after I went through this.
1:18
It's incredible. All right, so let's get started
1:20
before we do that. Thank you for being here.
1:22
Thanks for being part of the basement.
1:24
I really appreciate you being here, right.
1:26
Your time is valuable. Please subscribe to the channel.
1:30
It's free. Give the video a thumbs up
1:33
upstairs Susan. He loves that.
1:34
Leave a comment in the comment section and please Super chats
1:38
are always super appreciated but never expected again.
1:41
We got about 8 things to run through and then we got the
1:44
bomb. Baby.
1:45
You're not going to believe just the unbelievable number of
1:50
pertinent points in this article that we're going to look at in
1:54
regard to what's going on in the world of precious metals.
1:57
But first I want to point this out.
1:59
Michael Maloney, man, we don't think about it this way, but he
2:03
posted this yesterday. the US dollar plunges to one 100th, one
2:10
100th of an ounce of silver. We're so used to saying, right,
2:14
we're brainwashed. Oh, silver's worth $100.00 an
2:18
ounce, and yes, we're in record territory.
2:19
Yes, it's a big deal. Don't get me wrong.
2:21
We're going to talk about the silver bear here in a little
2:24
bit, right? But the other way to look at it
2:27
is silver's not really going up in value.
2:30
Silver always has its value. It's the US dollar that's going
2:35
down in value. And think about it, guys, here's
2:38
a paper dollar. OK, this right now, this paper
2:42
dollar, it's unbelievable to think that it's worth one 100th
2:48
of an ounce of silver. As as a point of reference, you
2:51
may remember last week we took the blindfold off Smitty, the
2:55
old silver bear. His eyes, hopefully you can see
2:58
them, are made of these. I put two of these with my glue
3:01
gun. That's a 110th.
3:04
Look how small that is. It's a 110th of an ounce silver,
3:08
Britannia. OK, All right.
3:11
That means one, that this is 1/10 of an ounce of silver.
3:17
You take 110th of this, and I mean, these things are tiny.
3:22
So you take 110th of this and you get this, OK?
3:26
It's unbelievable. It's crazy to think that that's
3:29
the case right now. Just to show you how small those
3:32
are, That's the tube they came in.
3:34
They call them lip lip lipstick containers.
3:38
This thing is tiny. It's got like, I don't know, 20
3:40
or 10 on twenty of those little, little things in there.
3:44
But it wasn't always that way. I don't want to go too far down
3:47
this rabbit hole, but this is different.
3:49
Is this the same thing I just showed you or is it different?
3:52
No, it's different, guys. Because if you look at the very
3:55
top, my fingers got a shadow there.
3:58
But you should be able to see that it says silver certificate.
4:01
In the bottom it says $1.00 in silver.
4:06
I'll read it to you. Maybe you can read it.
4:09
Yeah. In silver.
4:11
Payable to the bearer on demand. Right.
4:15
This used to be worth silver. I don't know what year.
4:18
I couldn't find the year. I didn't have time to look it
4:20
up. I think it was like 1917 or
4:22
whatever. This was the old dollar when it
4:25
was backed by silver. Now this, Right.
4:28
Remember, it's insane. This gets you 110th of this
4:34
little tiny silver coin that you can barely see.
4:38
We love silver in any form. But I'm telling you, when these
4:42
things showed up, I was like, I knew they were small, but I
4:45
didn't know they were that small.
4:48
Are you sure? There's twenty of them in there?
4:50
And there were. It was all there.
4:51
I actually got them from my previous sponsor Pin Backs,
4:56
which is a great company. OK, now let's move on to here
5:00
another. This look more shocking.
5:02
OK, yes, we have right world record silver price.
5:05
Yes, I'm happy you're happy. We're happy.
5:07
I mean, Can you believe this? I just had to take a screenshot
5:10
last night and share this with you.
5:14
And this is across the entire industry, not JM Bullion's a
5:18
great company. I took a screenshot, a 2026 one
5:22
ounce American Silver Eagle coin.
5:25
OK, price as low as 117 dollars, right?
5:31
And that's like if you buy whatever 500 of them or 1500 of
5:35
them, whatever the case may be. And then I had a little chuckle.
5:37
I don't know if you've bought gold and silver online over the
5:41
years, but I remember buying you get free shipping on orders over
5:45
$199. And long time ago I bought some
5:49
silver from JM bullion at all the all the online bullion
5:53
dealers. And I remember at at that time,
5:56
it would be like you would have to buy like 10 oz or 20 oz.
5:59
Now think about it, if you want to get free shipping from most
6:05
of the online bullion dealers, all you got to do is buy 2
6:08
ounces of silver. Again, it used to be you'd have
6:12
to buy 10 or 20 or whatever it was to get free shipping.
6:16
OK, we're going mainstream. Are we going mainstream?
6:19
Bateman, the silver billionaire, put this out yesterday.
6:22
And don't forget, guys, we've got some unbelievable news about
6:26
gold and silver from a mega bank.
6:29
We're going to get to that, but let's go out here first.
6:31
Few more things to get through and here's our friend David
6:35
Bateman, the new Hunt brothers, right?
6:37
The silver billionaire, I think he's got like 13 million ounces
6:41
of silver, some crazy amount. He says silver is going
6:44
mainstream. Do you agree with him?
6:47
I don't really agree with him yet that it's fully gone
6:50
mainstream. And he says this in response to
6:53
a tweet. This is where it gets
6:54
interesting from Why Mar silver Baron who who had said this,
6:59
right? He said he understands the
7:00
market. 99% of financial Twitter accounts don't have this level
7:06
of knowledge. Hold on one second.
7:08
We're having some some tech issues here.
7:11
See if we can get this to work. Hold on guys.
7:14
Maybe Susie can let me know if you can see me and hear me right
7:18
now. Here we go.
7:20
OK, I think we're back. OK.
7:22
We are deep in clown world again.
7:24
We talk about it all the time. 99% of people do not have the
7:27
level of knowledge about what's going on in the fiscal.
7:33
OK, Thank you, Susie. Thank you, sweetheart.
7:35
That's upstairs, Susie. Everybody say hi to Susie.
7:38
That's my lovely wife. We'll show her to you here in a
7:40
second. But most people don't know.
7:43
Most people have no clue. OK.
7:45
But here's where it gets interesting.
7:47
This was. He'd retweeted this from a guy
7:49
named John Rich. OK, who's John Rich?
7:53
He's got a good last name. John Rich.
7:55
Hold on. Let's get this so we can look
7:57
better at it. John Rich, OK, has down there.
8:02
Shoot. John Rich has 1.4.
8:06
See my little yellow pointer, 1.4 million followers on X.
8:13
That is a massive account. That is an account that has
8:16
massive reach, OK. He says silver in the USA is at
8:20
$103.00, and in China, as we know, it's much higher.
8:24
We're going to look at that in just a second.
8:25
Millions of Oz are being bought cheap in the United States, then
8:31
sold high in China, and China is happy to overpay.
8:36
That suction sound you hear is China draining the American
8:41
stockpiles of silver through arbitrage.
8:44
And again, guys, arbitrage simply means that you buy one
8:48
thing, a commodity, in this case silver, in one market, which in
8:52
this case would be the United States.
8:54
You buy it there and sell it somewhere else because the
8:57
market for that same product, which in this case is silver, is
9:01
higher in a different market. That's the way markets work.
9:04
There is a huge suction sound right now.
9:07
It would be China, it would be India sucking all the silver out
9:12
of the United States. And look, I think that's a big
9:16
major point. And I'm going to tell you why in
9:18
just one second that we need to pay attention to about what is
9:22
happening right now in the silver market, OK?
9:26
Because I'm seeing that some coin shops, even one of my big
9:30
local coin shops is not buying silver right now.
9:33
The refineries are backed up. I think the Rift speculating and
9:37
some other people who I've talked to are saying the same
9:40
thing. That's because the refiners are
9:42
so busy melting silver down and having it then available to be
9:47
shipped over to China and India. China and India are taking over
9:52
the pricing mechanism for silver.
9:54
We are living in a new world, OK?
9:58
And, and, and there is retail silver available.
10:00
I'm not a couple weeks ago it looked like we had a shortage.
10:05
There's stress, I think I think I even said I didn't want to
10:07
call the shortage. You can get silver.
10:10
There's silver out there for the retail because because people
10:13
are turning in their silver in the United States and that's OK,
10:17
OK, Because guys, this is not, this is not a retail driven
10:23
silver market. The the retail side of the
10:25
silver market is very important, OK, But it's not that huge.
10:30
And in the case of what is happening right now in the
10:34
silver market, this unbelievable run, it really has nothing to do
10:38
with retail, very little to do with retail.
10:41
And it's also though key for us to remember it's not a paper
10:45
speculation driven rally either. The COMEX and the LBMA, they're
10:50
in trouble, no doubt about it. But it's not like 1980 or even
10:55
2011 that were more paper speculative driven markets.
11:00
So it's not retail, OK. It's really not the paper market
11:04
that's driving it. It's big, big players, OK, And
11:09
it's a physical driven rally. The smartest people in the room,
11:13
including Keith Newmeyer, CEO of First Majestic Silver and all
11:17
the other smart guys that know what's going on are all saying
11:21
the same thing. There's a reason why, right?
11:24
China and India called the CEO of Kuya Silver and said, hey, we
11:28
want to buy silver directly from you, from your, from your minds
11:32
in Mexico. Chris Marcus from Arcadia
11:34
Economics reported that there's a reason, reason why Keith
11:38
Neumeyer was on Arcadia Economics saying that for the
11:40
first time in 23 years that he's been running silver mines, that
11:45
he's received calls right directly from people in the East
11:50
wanting to buy silver directly. That's what's happening right
11:54
now. OK, so we can get, and I'm
11:57
guilty of it too. I can get caught up like, well,
11:59
my, my, my local coin shop still has silver.
12:02
Well, that's fine. That's great.
12:04
That's not what's really driving this market.
12:06
It's different, we're in a different environment and it's
12:09
super exciting. And again, right, mainstream is
12:13
now just starting to pick up. We've got the Tucker Carlson's
12:18
of the world. We've got the that guy that I
12:20
just showed you, Mr. Richie Rich, right, with 1.8 million
12:24
followers on X, right? These people are coming in the
12:27
mainstream, CNBC, Yahoo Finance, they're not even talking about
12:32
it yet. When they do, be ready, when
12:37
your neighbors really start talking about it, be ready, OK?
12:40
Cuz that could be phase two or three.
12:42
Look, I don't have a crystal ball, but it sure feels like, I
12:46
don't know how you feel about it.
12:47
Like we are enjoying what is a complete new paradigm for the
12:52
precious metals, both gold and silver.
12:54
Let's go to China. This is interesting.
12:57
Again, this shows what we just talked about.
13:00
We're going to go to China and talk about what the recyclers
13:03
are doing in China. And there's a big strong message
13:06
in this, which comes from Eric Yong, King Kong 98888, right?
13:13
Super respected name in the precious metal sector.
13:16
And he's got the inside track on what's going on in China, he
13:19
says. Interesting development Chinese
13:22
precious metals recyclers are currently that's today, Saturday
13:26
January 24th offering consumers A buyback price for silver at
13:32
the equivalent of $112 per Troy oz and that's VAT exempt OK,
13:41
well above the prevailing international silver spot
13:45
prices. These are recyclers in China
13:49
right now, right? The market to buy, you could go
13:53
in China and take your, your, your silver and sell it for $112
14:00
per oz. And that's arbitrage, right?
14:01
You could go to your, your LCS, your local coin shop, buy it for
14:06
whatever, you know, 100 and $405 per oz, hop on a plane, go to
14:11
China and sell it. And that's what we talked about
14:13
earlier. And that's what's going on right
14:16
now in the world on a much broader scale, right?
14:19
A massive scale. China and India are sucking all
14:24
of the silver out of the West, he says in red.
14:26
I think Chinese retail is running out of cheap silver
14:31
stockpiles. The Shanghai Gold Exchange and
14:34
recycling from early January 2026.
14:37
And there's a picture for those of you who can read.
14:40
Is it called Cantonese? I don't know.
14:42
I think the Chinese writing is very beautiful, but I certainly
14:47
will not try to convince you that I can read it.
14:51
But let's go next to the Shu Bay, right?
14:54
There's big, massive, massive precious metals like markets
14:59
open to the general public in China, one of which is the Shu
15:02
Bay market. Let's get an update on what's
15:04
happening there. We got a real short little
15:06
video, but this came from David Lee.
15:09
The Shenzhen Shu Bay gold market on Saturday, that's today, and
15:14
that's at 413. Hold on a second.
15:17
That's a little suspicious. Let's go back here and see.
15:21
Did I not hold on here? We.
15:22
Oh, I know. Thank you.
15:24
Susie. Did I share the screen?
15:26
I didn't share the screen. Sorry.
15:28
Guys. Who wants to look at me with my
15:31
mouth open? Let's go back here.
15:33
Hold on. I want to look at this.
15:34
Was that 4:13 PM when he said that?
15:37
That was oh, it's just said Saturday.
15:39
OK. Anyway, this is the the Shenzhen
15:42
Shu Bay Gold Market Saturday at 4:13 PM.
15:46
The place is packed. I forgot to highlight this.
15:49
What color do you want? I know you just said you want
15:52
orange, so we will do that in orange, my favorite color.
15:56
The place is packed with people buying for the Chinese New Year,
16:01
which is in mid February. And I did some conversion I'm
16:05
going to share with you, but let's get this up and take a
16:07
look at what's happening right now in China.
16:20
OK, packed with people now. I took the numbers that I saw on
16:25
that screen and ran and ran it through artificial intelligence.
16:30
And what I came up with is that in that market, what they were
16:34
selling, the equivalent Troy oz price was $128.00.
16:38
Now that probably has that DAT tax included in it.
16:42
So anyway, if you're a Chinese person who wants to buy silver
16:48
in the Chinese market, apparently you're going to pay
16:51
the equivalent of $128.00. But again, they do have AVAT tax
16:55
and that was according to artificial intelligence, which
16:58
generally can be a little bit smarter than me.
17:00
What about the dollar, Kitco? And we're going to get to this
17:03
massive article about the Mega Bank and what they're saying
17:07
next. But Kitco put another article
17:09
out talking about what I think is one of the most powerful
17:12
forces that are going to propel the gold and silver price higher
17:15
as we go. I do want to say thank you to
17:17
channel sponsor First Meant right.
17:19
They are the silver specialist meant located in Las Vegas, NV.
17:24
They get their silver from the company that owns them, First
17:28
Majestic Silver from Mexico. So the silver goes literally
17:32
from the mine to the mint directly to you.
17:36
It doesn't go to the Chinese market.
17:38
It doesn't go to the LBMA or the COMEX or India or anywhere.
17:42
It literally is the freshest silver on the market from the
17:45
mine to the mint to you and it's unbelievable world class silver
17:50
bullion products. Here's their Las Vegas round.
17:53
That's the backside. I just love I loved roulette.
17:56
Look at that. It's a roulette wheel.
17:58
It's an absolute and it's got the first mint logo in the
18:01
middle. Nothing like nothing like
18:03
holding $100 bill. Oh, I mean silver in your hand,
18:06
right? You can check them out at first
18:08
mint.com and they have free shipping on 209.
18:14
Oh, oh, and I forget I've been I've I apologize to everyone
18:17
been forgetting to tell you. Here's their website,
18:19
firstmint.com. There's their store bars rounds
18:23
and they have a folds of honor product line free shipping on
18:26
orders over $299. But the important thing is they
18:30
got a discount code just for the basement dwellers.
18:33
OK, VIP like very important person RB like Ron's basement
18:39
VIPRB. You get a little discount when
18:41
you order from first mint. You guys have given.
18:44
I love being sponsored by First Mint, right?
18:47
It's part of First Majestic. But what I really.
18:52
Oh, OK, thank you. I will.
18:55
Thank you. Upstairs, Susie.
18:56
What I, what I really love is the positive feedback.
18:59
It really is a premium retail experience.
19:01
Thank you for the Super chance. I will get to those at the end
19:04
of the show. Everybody, please say hi for
19:06
those of you who are new. That's my wife.
19:08
Upstairs. Susie communicates via
19:10
walkie-talkie. And I couldn't be down here
19:12
without her. I don't think I'd be here period
19:14
without her. We've been married over 20
19:16
years. OK, Now let's go to some few
19:18
more cool things and then get ready to be shocked.
19:22
OK? It's, I think this is one of the
19:24
best pieces of journalistic precious metals artwork that
19:28
ever came out. We're going to talk about that,
19:30
and it has to do with the Mega Bank.
19:32
Let's go to Rashad. OK, Rashad.
19:34
Oh, just 300 dollars, $250 silver.
19:37
We've been following Rashad closely.
19:40
Unbelievable accuracy of his. Oh, OK, there it is of his
19:48
predictions. OK, here's what he says is going
19:50
to happen here in the near future.
19:52
I personally expect silver to shoot up to $125.00 to 130.
19:58
Price level followed with a sharp 15%.
20:02
Sell off. So that means if we get to 130,
20:05
we're going to drop maybe like the 110.
20:07
Could we, I mean, can you even fathom that we could have a new
20:10
floor and it could happen guys in a silver at $100, OK, the
20:16
sell off would be the most expedient thing to shake out
20:19
some of the weak hands and that's good, right?
20:21
That's that's called consolidation.
20:24
Sell off would trigger a panic among investors causing a rush
20:27
to the exit. Once the cleansing is done, I
20:31
expect silver to produce the end caps Mother, mother, mother of
20:36
all rallies all the way to 250 to $300 in a short period of
20:41
time. And I love Rashad.
20:43
I love the way he's thinking. So there we have it on his
20:46
chart, right? This right here is kind of where
20:50
we are right now. He's saying we shoot up, right,
20:53
the one 25130 and then as you can see, we come down a little
20:57
bit and then it's off to the moon.
20:59
Don't forget the long term, you know what 45 year cup and handle
21:04
pattern that we're working through right now, guys, it's
21:07
unbelievable the potential that we have.
21:11
We're going to hear about $500 silver here in a little bit.
21:14
But before we do that, we're going to listen to what Marin
21:17
Catoosa brought up. Marin is somebody who's been in
21:20
the silver and gold sector. I've been following, it feels
21:22
like, for 15 years at least, right?
21:25
This guy is sharp, OK? He's not out there talking all
21:29
the time. But when he does, we want to
21:31
listen. And he brings up this very
21:33
interesting point in red. Silver's moves are accelerating
21:39
dramatically. Each $20 increment is happening
21:44
faster than the last. This is crazy to think about.
21:48
Silver's first $20 move took five years.
21:52
The next $20 move took 99 days. The next $20 move took 28 days,
21:59
and the most recent took 17. And if we look at his chart,
22:04
it's pretty crazy, right? Look at this, you know, there's
22:07
the five year, five years, right?
22:11
Took for this from here all the way to here for a $20 move.
22:16
The next one, hold on, let's get that off there, right?
22:20
There's that little time period that took 99 days.
22:24
The next one, oh, you can hardly see it right there.
22:27
Took 28 days in this one, as we know and have enjoyed right
22:32
there, I'll circle it right. Took 17 days.
22:36
So the the price moves are accelerating.
22:39
And as they say in the world of investing, the reason why this
22:42
is important is because momentum in the trend is our friend.
22:46
And there's no doubt about it that the trend is working.
22:49
Hey, our friend Michael Oliver talking about friends.
22:52
And again, I want to reiterate to you who are new Michael
22:55
Oliver is the king of like technical analysis.
22:59
He's the most respected guy, even Eric Sprott, who's the
23:02
grand Poobah king of the world of silver.
23:05
He's the guy that started Sprott Asset Management in Canada.
23:08
He's I'd probably a billionaire, probably definitely with what's
23:12
going on lately, a billionaire. Eric Sprott loves Michael
23:16
Oliver. Michael Oliver is so he's he's
23:18
we wanted 2 reasons why we want to pay attention to Michael
23:21
Oliver. Number one, he's the king of
23:24
technical analysis and gold and silver.
23:26
Number two, I've been following him for at least a decade.
23:29
He's often buried, meaning he thinks the price of gold and
23:33
silver are going to go down. But lately he's been out talking
23:36
about how we can get potentially as high as $500 silver.
23:42
We need to come up with something to do when we hit $500
23:44
silver. And I've got his most recent
23:47
that I've been able to find proclamation of that.
23:50
Let's watch that. It's about 45 seconds long and
23:54
it is on the channel Great silver and gold, precious metals
23:58
Channel Capital Cosm. Let's listen Listen to Michael
24:01
Oliver's recent insight and as to why he thinks we are going
24:06
much, much higher in the silver and gold price.
24:09
Silver is likely in the next starting with December.
24:13
Is month 123 get it somewhere in the second quarter thereabouts.
24:17
I'm expecting silver to be at very high price levels, at least
24:24
200, probably more like 3 to 500.
24:27
OK, now. Second quarter of this year.
24:30
Yeah. In other words, the
24:31
verticality's only begun. OK.
24:34
And again, that would. I'll, I'll just stop at once.
24:36
Did you hear him say second quarter of this year?
24:41
Clearly be replicating what that copper chart did, what lead
24:45
chart did you know etcetera. So you want to be there and the
24:51
spread just broke out over a multi year ceiling.
24:55
So it's just begun in terms of that relative performance signal
25:00
and whenever it does that, there's a gusher.
25:04
A gusher. I wanted to leave that part on
25:06
there, OK. And guys, it's again Michael
25:09
Oliver, super respected, not a permeable.
25:12
And what he's talking about is that when you compare what's
25:15
happening in silver now to what's happened in other markets
25:18
in the past. And then you layer on top of
25:21
that all these other fundamental reasons, right?
25:24
The supply and demand, the industrial demand, the East
25:28
China and India this time, like, like when you put it all
25:32
together, right, when you aggregate it, I think that's the
25:35
fancy way to say that, right? That we could be in for
25:39
unbelievable right price action in silver as we and Michael
25:45
Oliver said it, right, like in the first six months of this
25:48
year, right now, OK200300, possibly even as high as $500
25:54
silver. But now the Mega Bank says some
25:59
unbelievable things about what's happening in the precious metals
26:02
market. We're going to get to that next.
26:03
Just quickly want to say thank you to 1st Mining Gold.
26:07
Some of my very first gold and silver YouTube videos from like
26:10
5-6 years ago. Trust me, don't watch them.
26:12
They were bad, but they were about first mining gold and
26:15
those were good because I believed in first mining gold.
26:18
It's a stock I've owned for years and years and years before
26:21
they sponsored my channel, OK. They are a development stage
26:26
gold in Canada. They got 2 huge multi million
26:29
ounce projects, Spring Pool in Ontario and Duparquet in Quebec.
26:34
There aren't a lot of massive multi million ounce development
26:38
stage gold projects in favorable jurisdictions like Canada.
26:43
Very few in First Mining has two of them.
26:45
The big gold mining companies in this article from Kitco about
26:49
the mega bank that we're going to look at says the same thing.
26:52
The big gold mining companies are making unbelievable money
26:56
right now and they need to replace the gold they're taking
26:59
out of their pipeline and they want to grow.
27:02
And I think the first mining gold is ideally positioned to
27:06
capitalize that on that is these big gold companies want to move
27:10
forward with newer and bigger projects in safe jurisdictions.
27:14
I'm not a stockbroker, I'm not a financial advisor.
27:17
Do your own research. Stocks, bonds, mutual funds,
27:20
cryptocurrency, real estate. Everything's risky, all right?
27:23
So please always be responsible, but you can learn more about
27:26
first mining gold at firstmininggold.com.
27:30
OK guys, the moment we've been waiting for this is a probably,
27:34
I think, one of the best articles that I've ever read
27:37
about silver and gold. OK, initially it focuses on
27:42
gold, but we got about 6 big major critical points that we
27:46
want to learn about from this article.
27:48
And of course, of course, it comes from Kitco and our friend
27:55
Ernest Hoffman. OK, Ernest, I salute you.
27:58
This, I think really, honestly, is one of the best articles I've
28:01
ever read. Forget $5000.
28:03
Bank of America, right? The mega bank, right?
28:07
America's huge bank sees gold price hitting $6000 per oz in
28:14
spring of 2026. I got this thing all marked up
28:17
for us guys. Get ready, get your pen and
28:20
paper out in and yellow as markets brace for gold to hit
28:24
the one once unthinkable $5000 price level.
28:28
Bank of America has raised its near term gold target to 6000
28:33
per oz near term, the most aggressive price forecast for
28:37
the yellow metal from any major institution.
28:41
Why in red history and no guide to the future, but average gold,
28:46
Gold jump past full bull past four bull markets equals about
28:52
300% and 43 three months, which would imply gold reaching 6000
28:57
by spring. That's according to Michael
29:00
Hartnett from Bank of America. He's forecasting that the price
29:04
of gold will reach 6000 an ounce by the spring.
29:07
This would put the gold price over 20% above the precious
29:11
metals current all time high levels.
29:14
But wait, there's more. Excuse me, a Bank of America's
29:22
2026 outlook is based on their projections of falling supply.
29:28
This was news to me from OK, well we'll get into it and
29:32
rising cost in the gold sector. Widmer expects the 13 major
29:39
North American gold miners to produce 19.2 million oz this
29:43
year, actually a decline of 2% from 2025.
29:49
Guys, I want you to think about this.
29:50
Gold and we're going to get in. They get into silver as well.
29:54
Gold and silver are based on supply and demand.
29:56
The demand for gold is growing and growing and growing.
29:59
And wait till you hear some of the data later in this article.
30:02
The supply is actually going down year over year, the new
30:07
supply of gold from the mining sector.
30:10
But what's really, really important for us to think about
30:14
is this fact that it's going down in one of the best gold
30:18
markets in history, OK, right. Like you know that the gold
30:23
miners, they, they are like giving it all she's got, right?
30:27
They're putting the pedal to the metal, they're turning up the
30:30
dials on their processing plant. They're digging as fast as they
30:34
can. And even though they're doing
30:37
that, the amount of gold that they're producing is going down,
30:40
OK? They also added that this
30:43
decrease they're predicting of the OR the most of the other
30:47
market forecast, I'm sorry, are too optimistic.
30:50
All right, let's move down here. Let's move to silver second for
30:53
a second. Widmer said silver may appeal
30:58
more to investors willing to take higher risk for extra
31:02
upside and noted that the current gold to silver ratio
31:05
around 59 suggests still silver could still outperform gold.
31:10
He sided historical ratio a low of 32 in 2011 as implying a
31:18
silver price high of $135, while the 1980 low of 14 in the ratio
31:27
suggests a silver price of $309 per oz.
31:33
Let's just do some quick math here.
31:35
Hold on guys, I'll be right. I'll be right back with you.
31:38
I'm going to see that our current, let's say we have 4980
31:43
gold and we divide that by 14, yeah, that would be $355 per oz.
31:50
Now, if, if we get and what's keeping us from getting to the
31:55
1980 low in the gold to silver ratio of 14, there's nothing
31:59
right that would again that would with the current gold
32:01
price that would put us at at $355 per oz in green.
32:06
I've highlighted before that that the gold market has been
32:10
very overbought. Get ready.
32:12
Here's some bombshells for you. OK, so the gold market's been
32:16
is, is overbought. We hear that all the time.
32:18
Silver's overbought, but it's actually still under invested.
32:24
He said. There's still a lot of room for
32:27
gold and I'll say silver as well as a diversification tool in
32:32
portfolios. OK, And we're going to get into
32:35
that in a second. So what then?
32:36
That's critical. I got to look you in the eye for
32:38
that. OK, Technically on the charts,
32:41
right, All the big technical analysts, not Michael Oliver,
32:44
but the traditional technical analysts say the RSI index, the
32:48
relative strength index on gold and silver through the roof,
32:51
it's overbought. And yeah, look, gold and silver
32:54
could go down, no doubt about it.
32:55
Gold and silver will go down at one point.
32:58
But focusing on that ignores the fact that just because that the
33:02
the commodity is quote UN quote, overbought from technical
33:06
analysis, they're both still under invested, meaning people
33:10
haven't really right. We've not had that wave of new
33:14
people coming into gold and silver and guys, it's like that
33:18
guy Doug Casey used to said sheep noise warning when the
33:22
herd right? When the other 9897% of people
33:26
out there, your neighbors who look at you like, you know, when
33:30
you talk about gold and silver, like they don't talk about that
33:34
on MSNBC or CNN, Why would I? I care about gold and silver.
33:38
I like, I like paper dollars because with this here paper
33:42
dollar, I can buy one 100th of an ounce of silver.
33:48
Yes, those people, we love them the herd, right?
33:52
It's a herd of sheep, right? And we like to affectionately
33:55
refer to them as the sheeple. That was a good one, I must say
34:02
to myself when they come and join us.
34:05
OK, Doug Casey said it's like trying to drain Hoover Dam with
34:09
a garden nose, baby. OK, my chair is malfunctioning.
34:13
Back to the back to the the meat of the article.
34:16
Sorry, I I got distracted. Distracted.
34:20
OK, Now he also points out that if we have a 55% increase in
34:26
investment demand this year, the price of gold could go to $8000
34:33
per oz. Take a step back, OK, these
34:36
aren't crazy numbers. These aren't, you know,
34:39
everything going on in the world, geopolitically,
34:41
financially, everything else. These aren't crazy, crazy
34:45
numbers to think that this can happen.
34:47
And need I remind you this is not some guy in his basement
34:51
saying this, OK in Saint Louis. This isn't some guy that sells
34:56
gold and silver for a living telling you why you should buy.
35:00
No, this is Bank of America, the mainstream of the mainstream
35:07
financial world. But wait, there's more.
35:09
Because Widmer noted that the precious metal now only
35:13
represents about 4% of the total world financial market.
35:18
Right, because the gold price has gone up.
35:21
But, and it's a big butt and I like big butts.
35:24
I will not lie. Within the professional
35:27
investment sector, high net worth investors only hold .5% of
35:35
their assets in gold. What?
35:38
I got to come back and look at you.
35:40
I did you. I mean that's, that's hold on
35:43
having some tech issues. Hopefully you can see me and
35:46
hear me. I think you can yes, OK, think
35:48
about that. That was, I mean, take your
35:51
blood pressure medicine high net worth investors only own .5%.
35:57
That's half of 1% guys. OK, let's say those high net
36:02
worth investors, they're at the Country Club now and they're
36:05
sitting around. They're joining us.
36:07
Welcome high net worth investors.
36:08
They're down here in the basement with us.
36:10
Hey, you and the high net worth investors, don't forget to
36:13
subscribe to Ron's basement. We want you to come back.
36:16
Anyway, they're scratching their head.
36:18
They're trying to decide if they want, you know, lobster tail or
36:23
strip steak for dinner. And they're talking to each
36:25
other saying I only have .5% of my worth, my net worth and go
36:29
gold and silver. Maybe I should increase that.
36:32
If those people, right? Let's, let's just play make
36:36
believe. If they go to 3%, right, just 3%
36:42
or what we're going to see, Bank of America is recommending 20%.
36:47
It's crazy. But if they just go to 3%,
36:50
that's six times the amount of money.
36:53
That high net. Yeah.
36:54
Hold on one second. Susie's calling me high net
36:56
worth individuals having gold and silver.
36:58
Yes. Susie, are you calling me over?
37:00
Remember. To look at the Super cats as one
37:03
of them had a question for you or comment.
37:06
And then the other thing is someone wanted to know to see
37:08
your best guess of course. Do you think it'll be a simple
37:12
Monday morning or do you think it'll go up automatically?
37:16
Thank you. You're welcome.
37:18
You want to say hi to everybody? I guess she doesn't.
37:25
I'll say hi. Susie says hi to everybody.
37:27
OK. What?
37:28
Oh, yeah. I'll talk about Monday morning.
37:30
Sunday. OK.
37:31
She says hi Monday morning. Sunday night.
37:33
Anyway, when those rich people put a little more, I got to
37:36
write this down Monday morning. And then there was something
37:40
else. But I'll check with Susie Super
37:41
chats. All right, OK, Thank you.
37:46
OK, we're live, man. Weird things happen.
37:49
OK, So we will talk about Monday morning.
37:52
We will talk about that. Let's get back to this article
37:54
because believe it or not, there's more.
37:56
Earnest. You knocked it out of the park
37:57
with this one, brother. OK.
38:00
He says here, when you run the analysis since 2020, you can
38:07
actually justify that retail investors should have a gold
38:11
share well above 20%. They're talking about Bank of
38:15
America is talking about people having 20% of their wealth in
38:19
gold. You can even justify 30% at the
38:23
moment. OK, let's just say that that he
38:26
also is going to recommend that to those Holly net worth
38:29
individuals we talked about earlier.
38:31
And if they went to 30%, that would be 60 times the amount of
38:35
money. Oh boy, put on your, put on your
38:41
life preserver, guys, it's going to get crazy, okay?
38:43
He also noted central bank gold reserves have surpassed their
38:46
holdings of U.S. Treasuries.
38:48
Right, Central banks. Look, the reason why we pay,
38:51
important reason to pay attention to central banks is
38:53
real simple. They're the central banks.
38:56
They're the most sophisticated in the know.
38:58
They make the rules for the world financial system.
39:02
Yes, high net worth individuals have a little edge.
39:04
Hedge funds have an edge. We got a big edge 'cause we hang
39:07
out down here in the basement and work together on things.
39:10
But central banks, they are the insiders of the insiders, OK?
39:14
And they now hold more gold than U.S.
39:17
Treasury. Not gold now represents an
39:19
average of about 15% of total central bank reserves.
39:23
However, and remember this is Bank of America.
39:26
His modeling indicates that reserves would be fully
39:30
optimized with an average gold allocation around 30% in red.
39:35
Whichever portfolio you're looking at, whether it's a
39:38
central bank portfolio and institutional portfolio, a high
39:43
net worth portfolio or you my fellow basement dweller
39:47
portfolio, they can benefit from diverse pacification into gold.
39:51
Is there anything else? I Nope, that's it.
39:53
OK guys, it is absolutely crazy what is happening out there
39:58
right now. Monday, what's going to happen?
40:01
Oh, you want you want to know what's going to happen in the
40:02
silver market on Monday? I have no earthly idea.
40:06
I will say this for sure. OK.
40:09
And I'll come on live either Monday or Tuesday.
40:13
I don't know if I'll be alive, but I will say this for sure
40:16
about the silver price on Monday.
40:20
As sure as I can be, but I feel very, very confident about this
40:23
prediction. We will probably see a move of
40:26
$10 one way or the other, OK? I don't want to be negative, OK.
40:32
But I have a strong feel and and I have about a about a 58%
40:36
chance that it's going to be a $10 or more move to the upside.
40:41
And then that would be what about a 42% chance that it might
40:44
be to the downside guys, if we get $90.00 silver again, if we
40:48
get 80 dollar silver again, heck, if we even get $70 silver.
40:54
And I'm not saying that I think it's going to happen or that I,
40:56
you know, I wanted to go up, up, up.
40:59
In the long run, it's going to be fine.
41:02
We're going to consolidate. There's going to be periods of
41:05
consolidation that what that simply means is the price is
41:09
going to find a new foundation, OK?
41:12
The people that are chickens that that that are, that are
41:15
that, that don't really believe in silver are going to get out
41:18
and that'll be replaced by more and more people.
41:21
And like we discussed earlier, this is a new world, a new
41:24
paradigm for the silver and gold market.
41:27
China and India are vacuuming up all the world's silver, OK, and
41:34
a lot of the gold too, OK, And the world central banks.
41:37
But when it comes to silver, right, they are sucking in all
41:41
the world silver. They don't have enough enough
41:44
physical silver. They can't get enough.
41:47
This is not a retail driven, this is not a retail.
41:50
This, this, this rally that we had in silver has nothing to do
41:55
with the online bullion dealers or your local coin shop.
41:58
It's not a retail driven rally. It has nothing to do with the
42:03
COMEX or the LBMA. We'll look at that data
42:06
tomorrow, right? There's some shocking data
42:08
there. No, this rally has to do with
42:11
big, big players wanting physical metal.
42:16
We are in a scramble right now for metal, including silver, and
42:23
really focused on silver like the world has never had before.
42:27
Geopolitically, the world is in a position right now.
42:31
Think about it. I want you to take a step back.
42:33
I don't know how old you are, right?
42:35
You might be in your 40s, fifties, sixties, 70s, whatever.
42:39
Have you ever experienced? And we have not a period of
42:43
geopolitical strife like we have right now.
42:47
And then what's important for us to consider is that on top of
42:51
that, the whole world is in a great big financial mess.
42:56
OK, So countries are not trusting each other's
43:00
currencies. That's what happens when there's
43:02
geopolitical strife. It really got kicked off with
43:05
the Russia, Ukraine situation when they when they seized the
43:08
Russian assets, that's when the central banks around the world
43:12
were like, whoa, you know, like when, when there's geopolitical
43:15
strife, countries don't trust each other.
43:17
They don't trust each other's. They don't have as much
43:20
confidence because remember, the value in this is based on faith
43:27
and confidence. The value in this right, an
43:30
ounce of silver or an ounce of gold is based on 5000 years of
43:36
history, 5000, OK, it's wild. OK, I told you what to expect on
43:41
Monday. Let's go out and check on.
43:43
Let's see what kind of super chats we got here.
43:46
Let's see if I can pull this up and boom.
43:49
OK, hold on, we're on the wrong screen.
43:52
There we go. Hey, all right, Renee, Renegade
43:56
designer. Thank you for the Super chat, my
43:58
friend. Appreciate it.
44:00
Got another one here from Troy Oz, a super sticker.
44:04
Thank you. Thank you, guys.
44:06
Again, super appreciated. Never expected.
44:08
Oh, boy. Here's a question, we'll get to
44:12
that one next. We need hold on, what was that?
44:15
We need a a new first meant code.
44:18
OK, I will check with them. As far as I know right now the
44:21
code is and I checked yesterday VIPRB very important person Ron,
44:27
Ron Spaceman and Susie's coming at me here.
44:30
Hold on then I'm going to get to your question.
44:32
So thank you for that super chat.
44:34
Dan, is that working? It's not working.
44:36
OK, I'll get I'll. That'll be on my first list of
44:39
things to do on Monday is to get those people at first.
44:42
Men are awesome. They're great people and I'll
44:46
reach out to them and make sure we can get that working again.
44:49
OK. And Jordan's, hold on a minute
44:51
here. Jordan has a question.
44:53
Jordansburg. Hey, Ron, big fan.
44:55
I grow my silver stack by buying scrap at 80% melt and refining
45:00
it myself. That's awesome, $2000 setup.
45:04
Surprisingly simple. Making your own bullion is fun.
45:07
Feels like printing oz. Wanted to share.
45:10
Hey, that is that is. I love that man.
45:12
I love I'm a do it yourself kind of guy.
45:15
My hat's off to you on that one. If things ever slow down for me,
45:18
I want to find out where you are and I'd love to come check that
45:21
out. That would be awesome.
45:23
You never know, maybe we can even make a Ron's basement bar,
45:26
you know, like a 10 oz bar or something like that.
45:29
So all right, guys, thank you. Hold on.
45:32
Let me check in with upstairs Susie and make sure I didn't
45:34
forget anything upstairs Susie, are you still there over?
45:40
Did I forget anything over? I think it's got.
45:46
Over 600 likes. Maybe ring the cowbell?
45:50
Today, okay, I'll see if I if I can ring the cowbell and hey
45:53
guys, don't forget if you are looking, look where do you keep
45:57
your silver, right? I don't keep any at the house,
45:59
but people keep it all the safety deposit boxes.
46:03
Some people keep it have a fireproof safe in their house.
46:06
Some people keep it in their rafters.
46:08
I don't know, I've heard all kinds of stuff, empty shaving
46:11
cream cans, whatever. Another great option that you
46:14
might want to explore is my friends at Dirty Man Safe.
46:18
OK, this is a safe that you bury in the ground in your yard.
46:22
It's got like a 5060 year lifespan.
46:24
You can go out to their website dirtyman.com and read all about
46:28
it it. It's got a sleeve that you bury
46:30
in the ground, a cap. These things are cool.
46:32
When they first sent me this, I was like, oh, it's going to be,
46:35
you know, a piece of PVC pipe, whatever.
46:37
No, these are incredibly robust and well built.
46:41
You unscrew the bottom right and you put whatever you want in
46:45
there. I got a little plastic Unicorn
46:46
in there, but you could fit a lot of whatever you want to fit
46:49
in here. But the cool thing about it is
46:51
it's buried in the ground. Only you and maybe one other
46:54
person, not me that you choose knows about it.
46:57
And it's like the pirates did, right?
46:59
The pirates, right? I mean, hey, look, it's been
47:01
proven burying things in the ground works, especially for
47:04
precious metals. The pirates proved that to us
47:07
are OK. But when it's in the ground,
47:10
it's safe from fire, flood. Everything else dirty man safe
47:14
again. You can check them out and they
47:15
got a discount code. Sorry, Ron 10.
47:18
Yeah, there's a link to Ron 10. OK, Really nice, really, really
47:22
nice people at that company as well.
47:25
So hey, guys, thanks for joining me.
47:27
Hold on here down in the basement.
47:29
I got a few parts. Oh, I got another super sticker.
47:33
Hold on, hold on. All right, Kevin, Kevin Garcia,
47:39
thank you. Put you up on the screen.
47:41
Kevin, it's your special day. You got put on the on the Ron's
47:44
basement live stream Thank you, guys.
47:47
Yeah, tomorrow night could be interesting no matter what
47:50
happens. OK.
47:51
And I I have a look, I, I can definitely be wrong, but I have
47:56
a sneaking suspicion that there could be some it, it, and next
48:00
week's going to be volatile. OK?
48:02
So remember, right, If it's volatile to the upside or
48:08
volatile to the downside, we're going to be OK.
48:10
And Susie wants me to ring the bell before I forget.
48:13
I don't know where the bell went.
48:14
The cowbell. Oh, darn it.
48:16
Hold on, guys. I don't know where it went.
48:19
Hold on. I'll be right back here it is.
48:24
All right, man. This came from one of our fellow
48:26
basement towers, Joe F, right. We used to ring it when we got
48:30
to 200 thumbs up. Now we're getting 700 thumbs up.
48:36
All right, everybody, have a great day.
48:38
Thank you for being here. OK.
48:40
And really, truly, it's a big deal when you join us down here
48:43
in the basement. It's like a family.
48:45
Take care of yourself, and I'll see you.
48:47
Yes, you next time.
