- 0:00Speaker 1: News breaks out in every show.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Mark Simone on seven ten w R.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Richard in Brooklyn. Richard,
- 0:12Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 0:14Speaker 3: I'm Mark, very good. Just a question on the oil,
- 0:17Speaker 3: like you just said, we don't buy oil from Iran.
- 0:21Speaker 3: We have it. I know we heard this many times.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Why is the gifts so high?
- 0:26Speaker 1: Oh? Well, for this is annoying. But here's the real reason.
- 0:32Speaker 1: No reason to raise the price of oil.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Here.
- 0:33Speaker 1: We got all the oil we need. We don't need
- 0:35Speaker 1: to import any But when you close the straight it
- 0:37Speaker 1: raises the price around the world. So these American oil companies,
- 0:41Speaker 1: even though they don't have to raise it to match
- 0:45Speaker 1: the world wide price, claiming right, it's just an excuse
- 0:48Speaker 1: for them to raise the price. Now, we could order
- 0:51Speaker 1: them not to do it, saying there's no reason you
- 0:54Speaker 1: don't have to raise your price. Put it back where
- 0:56Speaker 1: it was. But then they'll retaliate by pumping less oil,
- 1:01Speaker 1: and they'll just slow down the drilling. Drill less pump
- 1:04Speaker 1: less barrels a day artificially raised the price. So we
- 1:08Speaker 1: let him get away with it. If he really had to,
- 1:09Speaker 1: we could present get work out something for him not
- 1:12Speaker 1: to raise the price because there's no reason to. Let's
- 1:15Speaker 1: go to Stuart in South Carolina. Stuart, how you doing, hey, Mark?
- 1:19Speaker 3: Are are you?
- 1:19Speaker 2: You know?
- 1:19Speaker 3: With a shooting the other day.
- 1:21Speaker 4: The one thing that really bothered me. I was on
- 1:22Speaker 4: a Reagan's security team a couple of times, and we
- 1:25Speaker 4: worked with his secret service, and we had eyes everywhere.
- 1:29Speaker 4: When this guy was able to run through that magnetometer
- 1:32Speaker 4: and through those guys like that, nobody stopped him. I mean,
- 1:36Speaker 4: why wasn't anybody having eyes out onto the street or
- 1:41Speaker 4: away from that magnetometer when we had Reagan. I mean,
- 1:45Speaker 4: we had guys everywhere, looking everywhere. It's like the guy
- 1:48Speaker 4: on the roof when Trump was shot, he was completely ignored.
- 1:52Speaker 4: I don't understand what's going on because.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Two things going on. Apparently a lot of people think
- 1:57Speaker 1: the perimeter was set at the wrong place. It should
- 1:59Speaker 1: be right and set outside. So I agree with that.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Before the perimeter towards the front of the hotel, it
- 2:05Speaker 1: was local police doing the job. And you know local
- 2:08Speaker 1: police aren't the same and nothing personal, but you know
- 2:10Speaker 1: what I.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Mean, Well, you know I was local, and believe me,
- 2:14Speaker 4: we took that job very seriously and we had him covered.
- 2:19Speaker 4: I mean, nobody could have gotten to Reagan. Now, you
- 2:22Speaker 4: know when he was shot, I wasn't there, so you
- 2:24Speaker 4: know he was going to his car.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Now, let me take that question. A crazed maniac with
- 2:29Speaker 1: a gun is running a million miles an hour towards you.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Most people who put the hell out of there. What
- 2:34Speaker 1: makes a guy like you say, I'd like to for
- 2:37Speaker 1: a living have to stop that guy in tackle? It's
- 2:39Speaker 1: a rough job.
- 2:40Speaker 4: You know, It's like being in a war. You know,
- 2:43Speaker 4: you're fighting for your country, but a lot of times
- 2:45Speaker 4: you're fighting for the guys next to you. And one
- 2:47Speaker 4: of the other guys said, well, why didn't they shoot him?
- 2:49Speaker 4: You've always got to watch collateral damage. I mean there
- 2:52Speaker 4: were people out there. You know that there were dignitaries
- 2:55Speaker 4: out there. You cannot start shooting in a situation like
- 2:58Speaker 4: that when you're able to that subject. I'm just really
- 3:02Speaker 4: shocked that he got as far as he did. He
- 3:04Speaker 4: never should have gotten that far. There's no excuse for that.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I know you're right, of course, great call. Thanks
- 3:10Speaker 1: for calling. Let's go to Bob in New Jersey. Bob,
- 3:13Speaker 1: how you doing, Hey.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Mark, good to talk to you again. Educate me on something.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Would you please do they have Do we have some
- 3:20Speaker 5: sort of like a gey or counter or some kind
- 3:23Speaker 5: of a method where we can detect where that enriched
- 3:25Speaker 5: uranium is in Iran so that maybe Israel can just spot,
- 3:29Speaker 5: you know, the where it is and go in there.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And well, yeah, it's a little more complicated that we
- 3:34Speaker 1: do have thanks to Israel some idea where they store stuff.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Problem is, most of it's very deep underground, hard to
- 3:40Speaker 1: get to. Now. Apparently we know that a lot of
- 3:43Speaker 1: it is. Remember we blew up the nuclear reactors and
- 3:48Speaker 1: that bombing raid last year. A lot of it is
- 3:50Speaker 1: underneath all that rubble. It's down there, so to get it,
- 3:54Speaker 1: you can get it out, but that's a hell of
- 3:55Speaker 1: an engineering feat would take some time. So and again.
- 4:00Speaker 1: And the other stuff that they have is deep underground,
- 4:02Speaker 1: so we'd have to have to get it at We're
- 4:04Speaker 1: kind of depending on Israel, but they're very good with
- 4:07Speaker 1: knowing what's going on in Iran. They've got spies all
- 4:10Speaker 1: over the place, so they've got a pretty good idea
- 4:13Speaker 1: of where all this stuff is. Let's go to Tom and
- 4:15Speaker 1: Queen's Tom, how.
- 4:16Speaker 5: You doing, I don't know, let me check.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I'm good Mark. With the hotel.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Yeah, if it was five guys that booked five.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Rooms and had assault weapons days in advance.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Well that's what That's what everybody's been saying. Yeah, you
- 4:33Speaker 1: got to move it out of the hotel. Can't be
- 4:35Speaker 1: in an active hotel with a thousand uninspected guests upstairs
- 4:40Speaker 1: and you can't check every room, and there's one thousand
- 4:42Speaker 1: rooms in that whole hotel. I mean you could, but
- 4:45Speaker 1: it would take you a billion man hours, be cheaper
- 4:48Speaker 1: just to move the event out of the hotel to
- 4:50Speaker 1: somewhere else. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how
- 4:53Speaker 1: you doing.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Mark, Mark. Sometimes good change
- 4:58Speaker 2: could come as a result of something really bad, like
- 5:01Speaker 2: the attempted assassination of President Trump this Saturday evening. Those
- 5:06Speaker 2: reporters in the ballroom now will think twice about speaking
- 5:10Speaker 2: willy nilly about violence and political violence in general, because
- 5:15Speaker 2: had that person had two oozy machine guns, they could
- 5:21Speaker 2: have even with the shotguns that they had, they could
- 5:24Speaker 2: have been collateral damage and they could have been hit
- 5:27Speaker 2: by buckshot. The guy had a wrong He was using
- 5:30Speaker 2: bird shot, which scatters all over the place, and the
- 5:34Speaker 2: second thing is you pointed out now it's imperative that
- 5:38Speaker 2: Trump they built the ballroom, because, as you and others
- 5:42Speaker 2: pointed out, this would never happen if it was the
- 5:45Speaker 2: new Trump Ballroom with all the high tech facilities, and
- 5:51Speaker 2: the White House will also the ballroom will keep these
- 5:55Speaker 2: crazy protests five hundred feet away, not across the street
- 5:59Speaker 2: like they at this hotel with their signs and everything.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Trump gets the ballroom, all of this stops immediately, and
- 6:09Speaker 2: I hope his people are working on those judges right now.
- 6:12Speaker 2: But as Stewart said, had that guy had not the shotgun,
- 6:18Speaker 2: two submachine guns oozies that have fifty bullet magazines, he
- 6:25Speaker 2: could have just came in strange.
- 6:27Speaker 1: The whole of No, absolutely it. What if it had
- 6:29Speaker 1: been five guys, it would have been different. But Vincent,
- 6:31Speaker 1: great call, Thanks for calling. Hey, when we come back,
- 6:34Speaker 1: the best polster on earth, the great I mean, you
- 6:37Speaker 1: see all these public polls, they're all cheap, flimsy, slanted, biased,
- 6:40Speaker 1: rig The real poles are behind the scenes, the ones
- 6:43Speaker 1: that candidate choose. We'll get to the greatest polster in
- 6:46Speaker 1: the world. John McLoughlin will be with us next on
- 6:49Speaker 1: seven to ten wor
