- 0:46Sports Shock Show. I am the Sport Shock Wayne Gandee. Happy belated Father's
- 0:52Day out there to all of you dads. Uh. I'm talking about the
- 0:59one ones who are not only produced, but the ones that are raising.
- 1:06Always salute them with both hands, because raising someone else's child as a dad
- 1:12is a big, big thing. Even if you are stand in for uncle,
- 1:21a niece or nephew as the dad, maybe that includes you too,
- 1:26because the most unappreciated human seems to exist as a dad. On Father's Day,
- 1:37Yeah, I said, I coach, Thank you very much, sir.
- 1:42You know that my Dad's Every year it gets worse and worse. Guys.
- 1:47Text the texting of each other. More men text me now for Father's
- 1:52Day than in the third my daughter twenty six years before. More texts from
- 2:00men. And what that says is that we all we got were the only
- 2:06people texting each other. See him be that's appreciating the idea that Daddy is
- 2:15only useful when needs are needed. He's only gazed his whole primary, whether
- 2:23he's a good man or not, is whether he is making what you want
- 2:27happen. And very little appreciation goes along with that. We don't even get
- 2:32no commercial. He ain't see no cage jeweler. What did you see that?
- 2:38What did you see this week? Dad's about a dad commercier? I'm
- 2:45standing on all mine. I still got all my toes. They ain't cut
- 2:47one of them off yet. Tell me name me a company that had a
- 2:52Father's Day commercial. Your father's been eyeing that jewelry for quite sometime. Make
- 2:58him happy this father Day with k you did you see that commercial? I
- 3:04didn't see that commercial. The most I've seen is is a p S A
- 3:07for about Father's Dad's been working hard, so now for dads, let dad
- 3:20relax. Exclusive Dad, As I said on this show, we didn't even
- 3:27get an NBA game. Yeah, that's what. That's that the basketball guys,
- 3:34let it be a game five. Remember, there's one thing. If
- 3:38the series is ended, and some series have ended before Father's Day, that
- 3:43is not like some big thing like, oh that can't happen. But the
- 3:49basketball gud said, well, let it. Let the party keep going.
- 3:54Carved us out, called us out, carved us out of what we could
- 3:58have galvanized and felt good about each other and text each other that favorite food,
- 4:03got that relaxation going for whatever little bit we get. And the game,
- 4:11but the game you want to watch. They had a lot of games
- 4:14on now. It was it was a lot of sports on yesterday. Well,
- 4:16as we're gonna talk about on the show, it wasn't like an absence
- 4:20of sports of sports yesterday. You can catch anything anywhere at any time.
- 4:26It was eleven am to you fall asleep last night of sports. But the
- 4:30NBA Championship, NBA Championship game between Luca Duncans, Kyrie Irvin, the Dallas
- 4:36Mavericks and Jason Tatum, Jalen Brown and the Celtics couldn't get that follow on
- 4:43Father's Day moved that over. I don't want that on Father's Day. Don't
- 4:49put don't put the good stuff. We're gonna have to move that over,
- 4:55y'all. I mean, don't break out a good time. No, who
- 4:59all fathers? No, put that put that. We ain't gonna care Daddy
- 5:04ain't going to drink this good liquor. Put that other stuff out here.
- 5:09I had been saying that I felt like that they have incorporated June teenth to
- 5:15take over Father's Daylight. Well, don't say that because you're a junior team
- 5:19supporter. No, you're the first person ever told me about I was telling
- 5:24you about it. I never said I you're the first person ever. I
- 5:27was telling you what was going forward today, trying to give us like I'm
- 5:30just saying you and I thought you were my Paul Revere. Yes, when
- 5:32it came coming, I was just out here farming my land, hoping that
- 5:40the ps pop in a couple of months and you come down your hot you
- 5:45real fast, June Team coming shinty and they rolled on off. I was
- 5:57there. I was there un till the next to what was what was?
- 6:01I playing with everything? Because I remember telling you, man, it's our
- 6:09last batch of seeds. We don't make this one come through. It's crop.
- 6:15We're gonna have to do something else. See him be seriously though,
- 6:18it's like you see more June Teeth advertising the Father's Day, and it's like
- 6:23it's cut out, like no I saw, I saw no June teenth advertisement.
- 6:28I didn't see the K Jewelers. The brothers and sisters have been jewelry
- 6:33all year. Get them something for June Teeth at K Jewelers. Game five
- 6:40tonight, the Maths headed back to Celtic Lane, the Celtics trying to wrap
- 6:46it up, and you felt like on Friday, other than the bad producer
- 6:48who sent us all the texts about how it was going to be over on
- 6:54Friday night, remember that text you got where he was like he had somebody
- 6:59unveiling the MAVs were really the Cowboys. He was trying to make a dig
- 7:02at him right, like it was the Scooby Doo reference where let's see who's
- 7:06really under this mask? And he pulled the Dallas Mavericks logo off and it's
- 7:12the Cowboys logo and we laughed. But now there is a game five tonight
- 7:19in Boston. The MAVs looked like they brushed off the begging. They stopped
- 7:28payanhandling and begging for when begging for calls, just went out and played basketball
- 7:34and was able to get this victory to push it to a Game five in
- 7:40Boston. But you expect the Celtics to bounce back in a big way tonight.
- 7:46And if there's something poetic you must say of winning a championship on your
- 7:51home court, yes, when you can, you don't want it to be
- 7:56that way. Trust men, quite they would have wanted it Friday. But
- 8:00there is something to doing it. Similar to last couple of Super Bowl winners
- 8:05winning who was at the Rams one in LA and Tampa one in Tampa,
- 8:13so you know it was a little more to it. We gotta catch no
- 8:16plane. We can start the party right now. Start literally. I'm riding
- 8:22my bike home. Yes, everybody lead a car called Uber, Yeah,
- 8:26and hopefully we'll make it to the parade. I'm gonna just I'm gonna just
- 8:33lay down right here. This this feel comfortable enough, This locker room feel
- 8:37comfortable enough. But big thing yesterday were telling My Father's Day and you mentioned
- 8:41Juneteenth, and we continued to I guess suffer through these mass shootings. This
- 8:54one takes us to the water park up in the Michigan area, and I
- 8:58was, why can't we gather on holidays in peace? Why isn't holidays like
- 9:13a refuge? Why? Why isn't holidays Because when you think about it,
- 9:18that's what it almost supposed to symbolize, like today that we that we don't
- 9:24did we take a pause today? Right? We take nationally? We take
- 9:30a pause. That's what I thought went along with it. We don't take
- 9:35a reset and enjoy ourselves collectively. That that's what we used to do.
- 9:41Why why in these moments that you know, we we find an uptick.
- 9:46It's almost fearful without a holiday come, especially in the summer, spring and
- 9:50summertime. You're almost fearful for a celebration. Yeah, you're fearful for Memorial
- 9:58Day. You feel for for June teen, Father's Day, fourth of July.
- 10:03You're holding your breath, not just for the accidents in the in the
- 10:09water, or accidents on the tomorrow, intentional shootings? What is it about
- 10:16that sports check? I don't want to oversimplify it, but uh, people
- 10:22just stupid people just step you know what I'm saying? Think what else could
- 10:28it be? What else could it be? I'm gonna go where a whole
- 10:31bunch of people ain't got nothing to do with whatever it is I'm talking about
- 10:35enjoying themselves and then just shoot a lot of bullets that for her, Uh,
- 10:43I couldn't find nowhere else to do this. Why am I even shooting
- 10:48this? Dude's barbecuing, that dude having water balloons over here? They got
- 10:52uh, snow cones. Why what I'm mad about? Commanchi Grey, You're
- 10:58a polar North kind of guy. I mean, but I think there are
- 11:01a lot of people who are, uh it seems like they're irrationally angry,
- 11:07like aren't aren't able to process anything in their life. I said, two
- 11:13creamers, and you can't process getting one creamer. You can't process that.
- 11:22They can't. It's it's too it's too hard, it's too it's too much.
- 11:26And the little things that said, like I all I did, I
- 11:31googled mass shooting. I just typed in mass shooting that the Michigan one is
- 11:33the first one that come up. There was one at a June teen celebration.
- 11:39There was one in Chicago, like, uh, the one that was
- 11:43the planned one that was in Atlanta was that last week. So for bad
- 11:46Bunny, yeah. Yeah, they were able to spoil that one, at
- 11:52least for now. I think they called the people and it's a shame to
- 11:54say it like that, but seriously, that's where we are in our country
- 12:00now. They were able to foil it this time. Yeah. Just Father's
- 12:05Day weekend, another deadly shooting weekend. Yeah, I was raising guns.
- 12:11They were saying that the gentleman who lived, he had planned some more planned
- 12:15attack to some more UH targets in that in that area. To do this
- 12:20just just a just wanted to get that out of the way. And when
- 12:24I watched it, I was like, we can't. There's not a spring
- 12:26summer holiday that it's not masks shooting. But I have to be honest.
- 12:33We'll be back. I'm not for violence, but I keep these guns on
- 12:37me. We'll be back more than show. Right after this Big Stone lives.
- 12:45We liveing scandless times to games like my religious cople with the thug that
- 12:48you with the sweet scub see you standing like God? Better let the bone

- 15:50of the Day on the Sports Jocks's taken it to a completely different level this
- 15:54year where we highlight an acolyte that has taken their game to the next level.
- 16:00I got, I got, I got, I got too dj my
- 16:03DNA to up. He got one ramp this up my DNA. I got
- 16:08plow boys and Bean and Joins out my DNA. I got new mbius.
- 16:12Your fluence is out my dna. I was born like this. This born
- 16:17like this did make you lick conception? What rec this? What shock show?
- 16:19I mean this what shock wing? Gan D. Tom Brady, who
- 16:23has been in the news here ever since his roast uh everybody from Netflix to
- 16:30now Fox on a little piece of tom Brady made his debut appearance for Fox
- 16:37Sports at the UFL Championship game that was held in Saint Louis between the San
- 16:45Antonio Bramos. You know the San Antonio Brahmas. I've been riding with it
- 16:49and command you. Greg's team. The Birmingham Stallions, the Stallions out of
- 16:56Birmingham do their song how to go right, because you know Birmingham is don't
- 17:02for all their stallions got a lot of look away, look away, look
- 17:06away, all the Stallions on them. They have the signs that say careful
- 17:14Stallions. And I'm sure they have got more words on it, but those
- 17:18are the ones that stick out to be the most. It's the careful Stallion's
- 17:21part. But this anticipated debut of Tom Brady, who signed a ten year,
- 17:26huge deal with Fox Sports to allow him to be on their first team.
- 17:33He was up in the box Kurt Menefeet and Joel Klatt airing this game,
- 17:41getting him a little practice in which is very good. Tom has taken
- 17:45a year off so and enjoy life and been roasted and this scandal and that
- 17:52scandal, got a divorce. All that kind of stuff has happened for Tom
- 17:56Brady. He's inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame last week. We do
- 18:03know he will be in Canton at some point at their ceremony, and now
- 18:08he is in the broadcast booth. Odds are he will do an amazing job.
- 18:18You just might not like it. It would be one of those I'm
- 18:22doing a great job. I just don't say it the way you say it,
- 18:26right, That's how they'll come back. He talked too arrogant for me.
- 18:30Well, he was there, remember the time, Remember that time.
- 18:36He was there six times in the big the big not just he was there
- 18:41a lot of time, but when it really counted, he was there six
- 18:45times. But even when I saw some of the game yesterday because our raider
- 18:49friend friend out of New York, Jarrett made sure to alert me, because
- 18:53you know, that's what I had been I had forgotten put it in my
- 18:56reminders Father's Day. And then not only did he remind you, but when
- 19:03you didn't respond to the first text, he sent you the follow up like,
- 19:07hey, did you get the text about the championship game? I did
- 19:14not know they had reached the championship game, but they had a early start
- 19:19to the season. This is really the first year of the u FL.
- 19:22Remember this was the us FL and the XFL combining to make this league.
- 19:29So this was their first championship. This game, when I watched some of
- 19:34it, I don't understand, And I said it in the text, Big
- 19:37Kenny, why are they letting you hear the sound of the quarterback that you
- 19:48here, the play that uplay, talking to the coach to the sideline.
- 19:59That was very distracting to me. That's all part of the sale. They'll
- 20:03get you to want to watch, so you could be inside the game.
- 20:07I'm what game? The game that was playing you and you you're sitting on
- 20:11the couch and you're hearing all the jargon and everything's going No, no,
- 20:15that that's never drawn me to the game. I'm saying that, you've never
- 20:22I've never usually get no, no, I've never. I've never watched a
- 20:26football game, like I wish I knew what he was saying, Like,
- 20:30No, it's the sounds I want to hear are the shoulder pads and the
- 20:37helmets. But the cameras, all the different camera angles and different you know,
- 20:48they changed it pretty No. I don't need that much production. I
- 20:52don't and all of that, just trying to listen to that make me not
- 20:56want to watch. Okay, now look we're gonna do a thirty slam.
- 21:00No no adjust, adjust adjust you just turn you run just now. I
- 21:06text him myself, I can't watch this. It may I also appeal to
- 21:11like the the gamers who are to put the controller down to even watch a
- 21:17game. But that played those kind of games where they're communicating with other people
- 21:22online. I thought we were playing. Is like nothing. Hill said.
- 21:32He uses Madden to get the guys who was Madden now to get prepared.
- 21:37Nothing says one season on TV quite like selling it to the gamers. If
- 21:47that's if that's the angle, they let somebody pitch to them and they go
- 21:52with in the marketing ploy, this is done and this is this is the
- 21:56one between that and Okay, the NFL try to make something different. But
- 22:06understand, it's like turning on a TV or a movie and selecting a movie
- 22:11and you don't understand the language. So you sat here for two hours watch
- 22:19the movie, listen to the audio of the movie, not understanding the language.
- 22:26You could have just turned the audio off and watched the movie and figured
- 22:30it out the way same way. You probably would have filured it out quicker
- 22:34because all your senses would have been in one direction. But sitting here and
- 22:41the player couldn't hear the coach on the microphone, and then you're playing me
- 22:47with a coach. You can't hear me. You can't hear me. Oh,
- 22:51it's your headphone, so you can't hear me. I'm like, and
- 22:53then the play doesn't go right. What am I gonna say? That was
- 22:56a horrible twenty three right two slam? I'm mat. Yeah, we can
- 23:00cut that out next season and let's not do that anymore. Yeah, but
- 23:04people need to learn. Yeah, so you can be able to do that
- 23:11check down when you you know, saying you got to know when to do
- 23:14that when it hit the fly if oh, if you need to check down
- 23:18to the tight end in gaming for I mean, he's telling you that's how
- 23:22it works. Wow, We'll be back for more Sports Jock Show, right
- 23:27all love us just with the drama unless you come in with Dakhamas for d
- 23:37J Taylon summing up because we're about to pull the runs up, John Bow,

- 27:07Or according to anonymous Colorado football players in an interview, these players say that
- 27:15Buffalo's coach Deon Sanders ask members of the team to attend a Little Wayne concert
- 27:25during the weekend of the spring game in support of Quarterbackshador Sanders, who was
- 27:33making his rapper debut as one of the events opening acts. Now, there
- 27:41was report that some guys said Dion coach Prime said it was mandatory that they
- 27:56attend this concert. Other reports saying dender eyes that which guy are you believing
- 28:07mandatory or volunteer? Hold on? Hold on? Was forced? Y'all?
- 28:11Hold on? We talking about Prime. Ain't none of this, ain't none
- 28:17of this mandatory. But you better be there. You better be there now.
- 28:22You you don't don't catch yourself not up in there, uh, cause
- 28:30it's anonymous. I'm gonna go with Prime. I'm gonna say he didn't because
- 28:33the guys didn't if you left already, because I report already these guys enter
- 28:37the portal, so they should have said hey, by yeah, I said
- 28:41it. He told us we had to come to the concert. But I'm
- 28:45gonna go and say that he didn't make a mandatory okay, command Uh.
- 28:51It's kind of like all those stories you hear, like in the NFL with
- 28:53Mini camp and like it's voluntary, but then someone doesn't show up and it
- 28:59becomes a they didn't show up that they didn't have to be there, but
- 29:02it was a story anyway. So it's like, yeah, it's it's it's
- 29:06voluntary, but you better be mandatory. Voluntary. Yeah, I completely understand
- 29:11what you're saying. They do have it typed in as it's voluntary, right,
- 29:17mandatory this is it in a fine print or just immediately after voluntary.
- 29:23This is a voluntary concert. But everybody gonna sign in before they get on
- 29:27the bus. And uh, Dion definitely, I'm like the two of you,
- 29:33Vic Kenny and Commandie. I would imagine the tone just like we're talking
- 29:41about a father to a kid. Yes, it's a certain tone that the
- 29:45kid recognizes. That said the same thing hour ago, but this time he
- 29:52said in a tone hey that I'm gonna need you to take that track and
- 30:00the trash. Hey, I'm gonna need you like before I put my hands
- 30:04on you. I'm gonna need you to come to your senses. Son.
- 30:11I didn't know Chador was doing his rap thing. So that is very interesting.
- 30:17Wrap slash model slash that Lil Wayne would slash, quarterback slash. Do
- 30:26I have that much time? Am I? That talented? Tom Brady said
- 30:30to be in the film room more. Yeah he had. They're not going
- 30:33to class? Yeah okay, so he got enough time to write some some
- 30:37rhymes or get somebody, because you know what I'm saying, he could definitely
- 30:41have somebody writing his rhymes. Yeah yeah, And what's his platform. I'm
- 30:45surely he's not talking about being in the trap unless it's a trap. Must
- 30:51be the money, but be the mine and guy a bunch and lunch,
- 30:56so you do is rapping. Shiloh is the model, right, and Shiloh
- 31:07also his case from what I read, is saying that the judge had saying
- 31:11that they could proceed. I think he was having trying to get the suing
- 31:17he was when he was fifteen, was supposed to have attacked a security guard
- 31:22toward his shoulder, rotating come for something like that. The report I read
- 31:27said that the judge confirmed that they could proceed with that case. So possibility
- 31:37of Chadur having to come out I mean Shiloh having to come out with a
- 31:44little cash. I think he's filed filed for bankruptcy once that, Once that
- 31:49came out, he immediately filed for bank Now how does that work? You
- 31:53filed for bankruptcy and then a year later I get a case, I win
- 31:57ten million dollars? What did the bankruptcy? Does that void that you have
- 32:04to pay me? How does that work? No? It does not a
- 32:08lot of times where they restructure bankruptcy laws to prevent that. Now you may
- 32:15say that your bankrupt that means you can't get me to million up front,
- 32:21But we're gonna structure your finances in a way where this man's going to get
- 32:25his payments. And that's how they do it. Now. If it takes
- 32:30seizing your property, if it takes liquidating your assets, that kind of stuff
- 32:36you just can't walk away from damages anymore just because you say I don't have
- 32:40the money. Okay, So but he did use the bankruptcy as some kind
- 32:45of protection. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, so they you know,
- 32:49they just can't come get it all. Can I admit that in court as
- 32:53an attorney as some kind of guilt? Can I reference that? No,
- 33:00I as an admission of guilt or because it's whatever happened happened. But it's
- 33:08a I guess, and they're differently. There are different classifications. So his
- 33:15classification of bankruptcy may be that paying him this money would basically ruin my lifestyle.
- 33:23So I can't just I don't have ten million laying around to give this
- 33:28man. We're going to have to come to some You say, I owe
- 33:31it to him, but can I put something on it? Just like each
- 33:35state has its own bankruptcy laws, and so it depends on what state he
- 33:38filed bankruptcy in also too, because they can govern to protect your property because
- 33:45of different laws of property protection. Onto that interesting to me, that's admission
- 33:52of guilt. So I don't know why when you do it once the lawsuit
- 33:58is filed, once the lawsuit is yeah, yeah, that's so. I
- 34:01mean, you know, I guess that's like going and taking all the money
- 34:05out of the bank. In a sense, we was good, he was
- 34:07good today. But then as soon as you got the papers, we were
- 34:13just keeping buried at mama the same thing. We just keep the bag buried
- 34:19at my mama house. If they ain't go left, bro, you know
- 34:22how by the shad it's like empty the bank account. Yeah, man,
- 34:25as soon as I sent over, you know, to serve you the warrant.
- 34:30And when them people say them people coming, y'all gonna have to go
- 34:32get that blue bag from all of a sudden, you don't have any money.
- 34:36We ain't got none that I don't know what you're talking about. Lead
- 34:38ten dollars in the account. I don't know what you're talking about, sir.
- 34:42Stand up for the flag, huh, yes, every day I stand
- 34:49how allegiance. Them folks say they had me under surveillance for how long?
- 34:53But you found what. I don't know what you talk about, sir.
- 34:58As far as opening acts, guys, if you had a chance to open
- 35:00for someone, shoulder open for Lil Wayne, who's one of the big biggest
- 35:07names we've had here in the last twenty five years in hip hop? Who
- 35:12would you like to open up for? Alive or dead or just alive?
- 35:16Keep it alive? Okay? Music, comedy or just whatever like you could
- 35:24be comedy. I would love to open up, I would say as a
- 35:40musical act. I would love to open up for the Isisley Brothers. It's
- 35:46enough of them still, it's enough of them. They they like the Temptations,
- 35:51They'll go find like the Tops and the Pips. You know, you
- 35:54can just interchangeable. Come man, I want to open up for We want
- 36:04to open for Bruno, Mars Bruno. Okay, bad producer Gucci. Now
- 36:12are you opening up as a performer or as like the because you you're a
- 36:16DJ, so you know how they have the DJ warm up the crowd that
- 36:20it would be it will be like that, Okay, yeah, because that
- 36:22was there two different things and sometimes they just have to DJ to warm up,
- 36:25play music your songs? Bad Future Future? You like to open up
- 36:30for Future? Yeah, we're gonna, We're gonna turn it up. What
- 36:34about you six? You said Zone six all day. It's not welcome.
- 36:42He's not welcome. I know people from the Zone sick as not welcome in
- 36:47It's not. They have said to me, real boy is not welcome.
- 36:52Re arrange your schedule. Rearrange your schedule to day. I would like to
- 36:58open up for outcast one. Now I would like to open up for I.
- 37:04This time, we don't let Andre play the flute. I had a
- 37:07chance. I had a chance to open for the Jacksons. Once got a
- 37:09call Jackson's are coming to Chest, the Jackson family of Randy and Jermaine and
- 37:20minus Michael and Michael and uh. They were like, hey, you know
- 37:27we are you interested? Yeah, I'm very interestant. Okay, give us
- 37:31a couple of minutes, we'll call you back. And then they called me
- 37:36back. What we got a ventriloquist. I was like, I want to
- 37:42jump on the dude and the dummy, but we got ten free tickets.
- 37:45So I took the family to see the Jackson and real quickly, who would
- 37:49Prime Dion send? Who would you think he would like to open up for
- 37:54his son opening up for Lil Wayne? Who would coach Prime open up for
- 38:00He is gonna have to be it's gonna have to be number one Jay,
- 38:02It's gonna have to be the number one selling that or because the Suns are
- 38:07open for low Wayne, So he can't do that, you know, but
- 38:12yeah he would do somebody like a Jay Z who's bigger than Jay. Really
- 38:19know, if I had to look in his era out, I mean looking
- 38:22at Prime and his during his era, I figured, did he not open
- 38:24up for Hammer at one time? I would think him and Hammer could go
- 38:29on to him. Okay, come Mantion, I would sayd Hammer as well.
- 38:34Ham. Do you think that that would probably be a good Today's show.
- 38:37I don't know why people aren't promoting that going across the country as an
- 38:44mc hammer reunion type of uh, you gotta find three, you gotta find
- 38:49three five seven. They might Oaktown three five seven, might be Oaktown six
- 38:54fifty two. But to combine wait seven fifty of peace, I got Prime,
- 39:01open it up for Uncle Luke, Florida. Florida boys, take me
- 39:07to my forget have treat. Trick trick no, no trick that, no
- 39:17add on. They can't come. All the Florida guys can't trick, can't
- 39:20come. We're not j T money, Okay we're not. It's just Uncle
- 39:24Luke. We don't need all of that. We didn't ask for the state
- 39:29of Florida. This ain't no club. Look eighteen sixty five happened? Man,
- 39:35they let us out. It don't seem like it. All he needed
- 39:37must be the money wown work, work, work, work, work,
- 39:40work, crown, work, work, crown, crown. Because he's one
- 39:44of them guys. He always asked me. He'll say, somebody from Florida
- 39:46and then he's like, what you from Florida? What the heck with me?
- 39:52Any of that? So you know we'll be back more than Sports Shock
- 39:58Show right after that. You can spell it when the Walking dun Street,
- 40:07I can dig weapon but a reper what a ghost rid the cappin Don't Go
- 40:16Away? Or of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dambidius coming up next.

- 41:22The future depends on teachers. Every day, teachers are shaping our tomorrows,
- 41:29starting their students on journeys that will change the course of history. Right
- 41:34now, in a classroom somewhere in the United States, there's a teacher inspiring
- 41:37a future scientist who'll make preventing pandemics their life's work, sharpening the mind of
- 41:44an aspiring environmentalist who'll help come back climate change, and generating possibilities for a
- 41:50student who'll be the first in their family to graduate college. It all starts
- 41:54with teachers who meet challenges with creativity, who reinvent education for the future,
- 42:00who work towards a school system that lives up every child, regardless of race,
- 42:05income, or z IT code, and to enable the full potential of

- 42:24sports gibt wingand logo so you can see a sports jaint. I don't say
- 42:51even say what's Obama? That used to be that used to be it?
- 42:58Nothing came in like that, so when they dropped it, Dodo Brown,
- 43:05Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock win Candy Charles
- 43:07Barkley, the legend himself, and I don't get why everybody's so shocked about
- 43:14this move with someone like Sir Charles. Sir Charles has been in motion as
- 43:22Sir Charles Barkley since over the last forty years, from the time he got
- 43:29to Philadelphia to now where he's at ten and T and T. He's basically
- 43:32been working, not really understanding when there was a time he was not working.
- 43:38Next year he says he's going to be his last year, it'd be
- 43:40sixty two years old. That's kind of right. That doesn't mean he's gonna
- 43:47maybe stop doing ads and the commercials and all that. I think he's just
- 43:52talking about similar to Ms Oprah Winfrey. I think some of O Bobara walters
- 43:59kind of she stayed around a little longer than you would have fought on that
- 44:02consistent. But I can do the Chuck thing once a month, but that
- 44:10mandate of having to be somewhere for five days, or maybe I'll just do
- 44:15the college basketball or maybe I'll just do the playoffs, but it has to
- 44:20be at some point where I can go golf and not count the days.
- 44:29So I think you got to be in that kind of mindset of where Charles
- 44:36may be. Now, some people look at the money and it could just
- 44:38be a ployed sure, but it could since I do know it correlates that
- 44:44he'll be sixty two next year. And for our age group, like al
- 44:49Charles Bart, that signified your first step into retirement some type of retirement,
- 44:53some type of retirement, not full retirement, but it's where you stop your
- 45:00main job when we're finn to be doing this and started doing the job that
- 45:05you always wanted to do. So if he was gonna do it, if
- 45:09he was gonna go be a high school basketball coach, Okay, I'm gonna
- 45:13step away from Wall Street and go do this for the next ten because if
- 45:20you can make it to the seven oh, you probably ain't gonna do nothing
- 45:24but work every day to stay alive. Yeah, I ain't just finna sit
- 45:30here all day with the reap of peeking through the looking through the window.
- 45:34You know, his hands pressed against the glass, but certain charge. And
- 45:37that's just how I see it bad. I don't see it like I see
- 45:39it. Kind of how Oprah moved away from that daytime television. You see
- 45:45some radio hosts kind of move out of that because they get tired of that
- 45:49every day four am. Someone like a Michael Strahan ten years from now,
- 45:57he might not want that. He might just pick Yeah, I'm gonna do
- 46:00Fox or I'm gonna do Gooding. I'm saying, if they're all still available,
- 46:05I can't be jumping on a plane four days a week from l A
- 46:10right right and New York. You know, at sixty two, that was
- 46:14cool when I was a young man and only need being gay. I need
- 46:17being gay, right, Perker set right and a Shaquille O'Neal backpack. Yeah,
- 46:27what's that say? Yeah, light patch got you know they got the
- 46:35little shot. Yeah, I'm talking all those products of shacks give you an
- 46:38electric shot package hurting and you want to relief, you put a shock pas
- 46:50because shak is in the range. When when you start talking them in that
- 46:53tall, that big uh, when are you gonna argue that maybe his back
- 46:58do hurt? I come over there standing because I know twenty four twenty five
- 47:04whatever shoe is. I know that foot got hurt. Man, that that
- 47:08well, you've seen that shoe box. I've seen shack shoe yeah. Yeah,
- 47:15it's like so if you can if you never think about the shoe box
- 47:20we get opening the box and pulling the shoes out, just go to your
- 47:23claws and get a shoe box in a mask walking around with that with the
- 47:30shoebox. That's how his feet looks. So when he says, uh third
- 47:35meta tarsol, I mean is that I'm gonna take your where for what?
- 47:42I oh? Man, you know your meal? If you see the show,
- 47:47like everyone's wearing everyone's just wearing sneakers with their suits because it's like you
- 47:52don't normally see their feet, but when they like go out to go like
- 47:54step by the they have the basket on set or whatever, shacks are in
- 47:58slippers. Yes, so it's soft. Yeah, they look soft, like
- 48:06something that you get at an expensive hotel. But I have never seen it.
- 48:12No, it's like slippers. You never saw a pair of slippers.
- 48:15Not at the hotel. I mean I've seen the road one time. You
- 48:19know they can get it at the rent. I mean we got to get
- 48:22your red roof in. You weren't part of that sting the other day down
- 48:24there? No, that's right there on the ride by you got it.
- 48:27I said, thought about that. Remember I remember you stay stayed there two
- 48:30weeks. I picked you up one time. People I'm not familiar, remember,
- 48:38No, I don't. I picked you up at that CVS one time.
- 48:42You know you did red roof nay on the Please sir, please can
- 48:52we not talk about it? Next thing at the red room. And I
- 48:55just remember the bad producer he was moving or something. He stayed over at
- 49:00the Red roof for philp. Yeah. Well, you know, in terms
- 49:04of my probation saying I can't be anywhere near the red roof. So no,
- 49:08I don't remember when you picked me up near that's the red one,
- 49:12I said, I picked over by the CVS. That was a cross from
- 49:15and that's the red rule. I don't remember that. That's the red roof
- 49:19plus. Also, Kenny plus, see us name name. I'm going back.
- 49:25I'm going back. I'm a going to run though. I'm gonna just
- 49:28tell you that they're gonna have to do their job. Come get me,
- 49:30he said, red room plus. I didn't know it was a plus and
- 49:36then hit me up like I'm familiar with it, like they got the red
- 49:38room plus Kenny. We'll be back the Sports Show right after this. Don't
- 49:50go, Wayne Born of the Sports John Show with Wayne Dandidius coming up next.

- 50:45Well, it's beautiful out there, sonny, and seventy five, almost
- 50:50a little chilly in the shade. Now, let's get a read on the
- 50:53inside of your car. It is hot, You've only been parked a short
- 50:58time and it's already ninety nine degrees in there. Let's not leave children in
- 51:01the backseat while running errands. It only takes a few minutes for their body
- 51:06temperatures to rise, and that could be fatal. Cars get hot fast and
- 51:10can be deadly. Never leave a chant in a car. A message from
- 51:14Nitsy and the ad Council. Hurting a game, we tough it out.
- 51:16Feel exhausted we push on feeling down. We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps.
- 51:24But there are times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to us
- 51:29and we need to talk to someone about what we're really going through. So
- 51:32we're going to reach out because sometimes mental health is not a one person job.
- 51:37Is it Love your Mind Today dot org? That's Love your Mind Today
- 51:40dot org brought to you by the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and the Head Counsel.
- 51:46And now back to the sports job. Wayne gay Center cords on sports
- 51:54news, gossip, blah blah blah blah, a Kima Club, the Madaway
- 52:25in a Dangerous book? Can you manage by the toney Wait? Back to
- 52:31the What Shock Show? The swat Shock win Candy Tonight eight thirty Dallas Boston
- 52:37Game five, must win for the MAVs, who two superstars the other night
- 52:44Luca Duncan and Kyrie Irving bounced back to wield this team to that victory over
- 52:52Boston. I got a tough mountain to climb very easily. Can see the
- 52:58Celtics shaking that off three days rest and coming back and winning this game tonight.
- 53:05But should be an exciting game. Other NBA news is jj Reddick is
- 53:09back in the mix as possibly becoming the Lakers head coach. Is supposed to
- 53:16interview for the job. Last week we talked about Dan Hurley out of Yukon
- 53:22turning down the Laker job and just that feeling as the three of us talked
- 53:28about on Thursday, bad Do. So we were just talking about how you
- 53:34go to interview for that job, and it's based on how fixed you are
- 53:38into that college way of life. The particulars of how to be a pro
- 53:45coach sometimes just won't fit how you want to operate your longevity, especially when
- 53:52you take certain jobs as we refer to like the Cowboys job Dallas is a
- 53:59very You're just the coach. Everything else. Just stand in the kitchen.
- 54:06We're gonna bring in the groceries. We're gonna tell you what seasoning to put
- 54:08on it. The Laker job is the same way. Man. You just
- 54:12you punched the button. It's gonna it's gonna drop the fries. You gonna
- 54:15wait till the thing buzz and then you pull it up. Your job is
- 54:20to shake and then put the salt on. And that's all I really need
- 54:22you to do. And regardless of how long and how much the deal may
- 54:28be you'll be out of work in two years. You have a couple of
- 54:32franchises that are just that way. Now you go, Uh, there's some
- 54:37that Yes, if we sign you the five economically, we're gonna keep you
- 54:43for four. But the Dallases and the Lakers, they're part of that.
- 54:47We signed you for ten and after two, we'll just pay you to leave.
- 54:53And Dan Hurley possibly didn't want to be in that after two back to
- 54:58back titles that you come and then maybe there's another pro job where he feels
- 55:01like there's a little more settle to the organization. Someone like the Miami Heat.
- 55:08They seem like they pick a coach and they give that coach his moment
- 55:15to win a lose, right, you know, it's just that way.
- 55:20Atlanta is becoming a city kind of like we're talking about the Lakers in Dallas
- 55:27and Atlanta is becoming where coaches are on short rotation, where you you know,
- 55:32got five coaches in ten years kind of mentality in certain places are not
- 55:38that way. But JJ Reddick, what do you think is about JJ that
- 55:43the Lakers is that they he will let them be the puppet master. This
- 55:51is the thing I can't imagine that he thinks he's going to change it to
- 55:57something else. If if that is what we know they're looking for, I
- 56:01want to go there, maybe establish myself. To have that name behind you,
- 56:07even if I don't really last. To have that on my resume says
- 56:13a great deal about what they thought my preparedness was my proficiency as a basketball
- 56:20mind, and that's beat for some people. I want to have this,
- 56:23as you know, I don't know what's on his bucket list of things to
- 56:28do, but we'll see. I mean, after they announced they were interviewing
- 56:36him, he was announcing a game like the very same night and they didn't
- 56:42talk about it. It was kind of doing the game tonight tonight, right,
- 56:45ABC. What do you think, comtch you I think that they're I
- 56:52think that still has Lebron like sow has influence on this. I mean,
- 56:57I know, like he'll claim that he doesn't. He's not involved than the
- 57:00coaching search or they're not getting his blessing or insight or anything like that,
- 57:05but you can't ignore that his connection to JJ Reddick and as far as possibly
- 57:14being the head coach. We've seen it before where they hired someone who didn't
- 57:19have a lot of coaching experience, or like they hired Luke Walton that was
- 57:23just five years ago. And I think they're looking to make a splash higher
- 57:30going with the former, a former player who is very knowledgeable. I don't
- 57:36know how that necessarily translates to interacting with other people in that with that dynamic,
- 57:42but I think they're just they're looking to make a splash. Hire.
- 57:47Yeah, most time you get it. I don't know. It's it's tough.
- 57:53It's like you said, it's I'm with Greg. It's still a Lebron
- 57:57influence and reading stuff where there's talk about even Anthony Davis may be on the
- 58:01trading block now not even understanding that. So that would make you, even
- 58:06as a coach, just like Okay, who's gonna be here? What's gonna
- 58:09am? I like you said, they're gonna just put in the seasoning,
- 58:14They're gonna put in everything. I'm just here to be the public master.
- 58:17So that's if guys want wanting, if they want to be in that seat
- 58:23and the hot seat. Do you think these coaches go to these interviews and
- 58:28go to these to check it out and the players show them defference as a
- 58:31coach like, good afternoon, coach Reddick, or how are you you know?
- 58:36Or do they coming? Hey, Jay? What's going on? Man?
- 58:39When you come here and start already telling them what they can't do?
- 58:43Look, when you come here, you're gonna have to let me be the
- 58:45one that and then I'll tell you how we got in certain situations. Because
- 58:49it's based on how influential that player has been around the league. Some of
- 58:55these guys like you might be on the roster that JJ actually has played with.
- 59:00Yeah, not just Lebron. I don't know who he's played with on
- 59:05this team, but he could have played with two or three of the guys,
- 59:07or two or three of the assistant coaches that are already there coached him.
- 59:13So you know, I know some people are discredit it because it's like
- 59:16you're saying JJ Reddick, But a lot of it is, you know,
- 59:21we don't know JJ from the basketball mind. We don't know how he is
- 59:27is in practice. You know, he might have his whole career been one
- 59:30of those guys that is up there. It's just like the young man is
- 59:36the football coach for the Texans. Uh Demiko Ryan Miko was one of those
- 59:42guys that people always when he was going to go be a coach, so
- 59:46he would go to the coaching meetings. This wasn't just a thing. Oh
- 59:51I retired and I'm a coach four or five years something. You know how
- 59:53some people tell you to reflect and it's like, man, yeah, I
- 59:55should have. It's not like it's against the rule. There's no loss.
- 1:00:00So you can't go get that extra insight or sit around with the GM and
- 1:00:07learn. So uh with JJ Reddick, definitely with Lebron, you're gonna want
- 1:00:10somebody that you think you don't have time with Lebron. Lebron got about twenty
- 1:00:15four months. I think he's gonna push it hard to win this year and
- 1:00:20then he's gonna go on his his Kareem Abdul Jabbar tour right the year after
- 1:00:24that and where everybody gets to celebrate him and he's gonna go hand his Kobe
- 1:00:30Snoop, give him a Lowrider tour twenty three twenty three years. He's that
- 1:00:36kind of mentality guy. It will sync up something like that. We'll be
- 1:00:39back with more to Sports Jock Show right after this. I got gens coming
- 1:00:50from over c I'm a drink command don't need no For example, Don't Go
- 1:01:02Away, or of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dandridio's coming up next,
- 1:01:07and now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three quarters of Americans
- 1:01:12believe that coverage represents a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine
- 1:01:16percent actually have life insurance. When I was twenty five, me and my
- 1:01:20wife were just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever life insurance.
- 1:01:23What's the last thing on my mind? What about you? Will you
- 1:01:25be leaving benefits or bills? When I was forty, with a kid in
- 1:01:30college and bills piling up, I was worried how my family will survive without
- 1:01:32me. That's what I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives
- 1:01:36you power, and life insurance gives your family security no matter what stage of
- 1:01:39life you're in. Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:01:43leave my family with bills or benefits. The answer is easy, whether you're
- 1:01:46twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a little or a lot, all
- 1:01:50you need is the insurance informant to help you build a foundation of security.
- 1:01:53Because without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills,
- 1:01:59which legacy. Will you leave behind log on today Benefits or bills dot Com?
- 1:02:04That's benefits or bills dot com. Hear that that's the sound of your
- 1:02:13life, perfectly imperfect, beating in rhythm to the world you've created. But
- 1:02:22every time you drive after drinking, music gets drowned out. Your life sounds
- 1:02:30pretty great. Don't let a buzz ruin it. Buzz driving is drunk driving.
- 1:02:35Don't drive buzzed. A message from Knits in the AD Council. My
- 1:02:37simple solution to their problem was remove people from the scene and help them feel
- 1:02:44safer. In response to attacks against Asian Americans, Maddie Park raised over two
- 1:02:49hundred and fifty thousand dollars to donate camp rights to the Asian community. There

- 1:03:20I whipped this out shoot broadcasting live and it led her to a jail.
- 1:03:25This This is the sports jock Ship with Wayne Dandy. You may began you
- 1:03:32mean up, can you win me? Dang? You flank me down?
- 1:03:37That Consola Council pet comes to park? Is it just jo I'm gonna do
- 1:03:45it. I'm gonna go on the way you may vegan, way back to
- 1:03:51this boy shock show. I'm this one shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to
- 1:03:53you out there and listening. Lane. Glad to be here with you.
- 1:03:57If you missed any of that first hour, you can go on after the
- 1:04:00show. Apple Podcasts, Amazon Podcast, Deezer, Audible, Spotify, Our
- 1:04:06iHeart Radio. We got a chance to talk about Dion Sanders and his mandatory
- 1:04:15voluntary concerts where his son should do. Tom Brady making his you know,
- 1:04:23his debut in a sense, he really doesn't have his first game until September
- 1:04:28eighth, when it will be the Browns versus the Cowboys for Fox. We
- 1:04:33also talked about the MAVs and the Celtics Tonight eight thirty p MJJ Reddick for
- 1:04:42the Lakers possible head coach here soon. They're gonna want to make a move
- 1:04:45here before the draft, remember the Hawks on the clock. The draft is
- 1:04:53two weeks from today, you would think it was last night. Did you
- 1:04:57see the it's before the Yeah, so the Hawks are on the clock,
- 1:05:02so you want to get your head coach in before then. And I was
- 1:05:06giving that example about the Miko Ryan, good friend of mine, Mike Rabel,
- 1:05:12I have said before, Me and Mike Raple with teammates with Pittsburgh for
- 1:05:15two years and he left, he went to the Patriots. But it was
- 1:05:24not a surprise that Mike because you could see Mike, Mike knew he was
- 1:05:30a little less than the two starters, but he was good enough to be
- 1:05:33in the league. He was a role player, a great role player,
- 1:05:39but he was heady, smart, and he was one of those guys that
- 1:05:42always had all the notes, those guys. So it's no surprise that Mike
- 1:05:47Rabel became a head coach and quickly because he was always in it from that
- 1:05:53standpoint of trying to be that. So we will see JJ Reddick, possible
- 1:06:00Lee. And I don't know why people keep making it sound what team are
- 1:06:05you not going to consider the superstar when you hire the head coach in basketball?
- 1:06:15I don't. I know that's how basketball kind of functions. I don't.
- 1:06:19Yeah, they won't yeah, yeah, yeah, what what what are
- 1:06:23you just gonna go in? Who running things? Lebron Tell him, I
- 1:06:28said, don't say nothing to me, Gotta say something. Caitlyn Clark Angel
- 1:06:35Reese doing battle yesterday once again, a little physicality happening in the game,
- 1:06:44Angel Reese on one of those hard foulsh It's just basketball when you look at
- 1:06:50it. Yes, it was what it was. Angel. Stop going to
- 1:06:55the press conferences and trying to play the victim. Nobody made you hit Caitlyn
- 1:07:02in the head. Nobody made you hit Nobody exaggerated that you hit Caitlin in
- 1:07:11the head. Them people wasn't lying on you, Kenny. But you got
- 1:07:15to the presser after the game and went into this, Oh you know,
- 1:07:18some people got a special whistley Son, take accountability. You hit it the
- 1:07:28young lady in the head. You did that. It was a file.
- 1:07:31It was a flagrant file. They did get it right. Why does Angel
- 1:07:36Reese play the victim? Bad producer M Not for sure. I mean you
- 1:07:44got that's what her third flagrant file of the year, first one against Caitlyn.
- 1:07:51But as far as playing the victim, I mean they all played the
- 1:07:58victory all wine. I asked you about, but Angel Reese watched. Why
- 1:08:01does Angel Reese play the victim, but she playning the victim. I mean,
- 1:08:05if it's working, and you see that, you could work the referees
- 1:08:10as if everyone else, I'm gonna continue to do it too. My thing
- 1:08:14is that she didn't have to go to the press conference and justify anything.
- 1:08:17She should have just left it alone and just take the fine and go out
- 1:08:21for the go to the next game. I mean, there's no need to
- 1:08:25explain because people don't have their opinion about you and think about you any any
- 1:08:29kind of way of whatever. Just go and you're in a great situation.
- 1:08:32You and the you got drafted a good team. You're winning. Go play
- 1:08:36ball and try to win a championship. No, you're not winning. Your
- 1:08:42record is worse than Indiana. Right now, you've only won four games.
- 1:08:46You were talking trash about Indiana when Indiana had won a game and you had
- 1:08:50won three, and then since that time you've only won one and they've won
- 1:08:55five. And the question that he asked you specifically also now we work and
- 1:09:00you work and you cooperate, Greg. Why does Angel Reest seem to feel
- 1:09:10like somebody's after her? She always tries to play the victim. I think
- 1:09:16what she's she's reading too much on social media, what people say about her.
- 1:09:23So now that's gotten into her mind. You know, Yeah, you
- 1:09:28wanted to just you know, just go out and play basketball. You gotta
- 1:09:30block all that other stuff out. But I think that's that's a facting the
- 1:09:34thing that's you know, if something doesn't go her way or you know,
- 1:09:40on the court, then I think added that all the all that other stuff
- 1:09:44that's gonna affect how she reacts her or the thing she's gonna say in the
- 1:09:46press. So so she can't handle the double edged sword of social media.
- 1:09:55Yeah, or maybe not even recognizing that it is a double edged sword.
- 1:09:59And you know, there's there's some things to process when you have that kind
- 1:10:02of that level of recognition. Okay, I like that. I didn't.
- 1:10:11I didn't like what he was just over there, But Big Kenny. Social
- 1:10:15media has been one of those things where people don't get that even if you
- 1:10:23you think you're going to get something positive, you think that I'm a post
- 1:10:29that I gave a million dollars right, only to find out that social media
- 1:10:32felt like I should have gave six sixteen million million dollars right, right,
- 1:10:39So they make it seem like I didn't do a good thing right, and
- 1:10:42and that's how it kind of works. And I think sometimes when it comes
- 1:10:45to Angelaes in particular, she finds someone to support anything she's willing to do.
- 1:10:54You file somebody hard it was, That's why she plays victim. It
- 1:10:59was a flagrant. They didn't get it wrong. But you can go,
- 1:11:02oh man, it's a different whistle, and social media will go That's what
- 1:11:06I've been saying, angel I've been saying that, telling these people that it's
- 1:11:11a different you don't want to believe it, you don't want to admit it,
- 1:11:15and then someone will come out and support the foolishness. And that's I
- 1:11:19mean, because we're talking about obviously you were wrong, the rules were already
- 1:11:27established, you committed the infraction, and you receive the appropriate, not over
- 1:11:32exaggerated punishment, and you the victim. Caitlyn Clark got a nod on her
- 1:11:38head, she got a slight concussion wearing an ice pack back to the house,
- 1:11:43and you the victim, and all of this, and people are supporting
- 1:11:45that Kitlyn. Look at her, they asking how she feeling. She on
- 1:11:50an IV right now you know what I'm saying. They given an oxygen,
- 1:11:54surely they should be concerned. And that's why Angel Reese plays victim because people
- 1:11:59see her that way. She seems to be trying to breathe life into a
- 1:12:03rivalry that does not exist. She want to be magic so bad, she
- 1:12:09want to be magic and birds so so very It really seems that way.
- 1:12:14And I say that from recent sports, when a couple of years ago they
- 1:12:18kept trying to make the Serena Williams Maria Sharapova thing a rivalry, but it
- 1:12:29was twenty three to two. That's not a rivalry. That's how I was.
- 1:12:39What would we be rivalrying about? Serena had won twenty three of the
- 1:12:45twenty five matches. Where are we having a rivalry? That's not I felt
- 1:12:55like she needed a foil, She needed a rival to justify her greatness.
- 1:13:03But Caitlyn Clark, and I don't know Caitlin, but I do watch her.
- 1:13:10She looks like a young lady that I have my own set of issues.
- 1:13:16I don't have no time to fight with nobody else. You've laid all
- 1:13:23this pressure on me to deliver this and that and score this and be this
- 1:13:30that whatever Angel Rees has going on is not even on my radar. You
- 1:13:39can't make somebody be your joker if they don't want to participate. And my
- 1:13:43Mama, that's what I'm saying. Mamma just ordered a brand new car and
- 1:13:47saying, I'm out here trying to live this new life that I never saw
- 1:13:51coming and manage all of the things that go with being a professional athlete.
- 1:13:56And y'all keep asking me how I feel about Angeery. I don't know.
- 1:14:00I don't even know how I feel about Katelyn Clark most days. And there
- 1:14:03are rivalries, but you can't just make someone like Okay, we had one
- 1:14:13interesting dust up, and now that makes a rivalry. No Duke in North
- 1:14:19Carolina basketball is a rivalry, right Duke and North Carolina football is not.
- 1:14:29They just two teams in the ACC that play each other. Nobody's sitting there
- 1:14:33counting scores or nothing like that. And most of the time you expected Carolina
- 1:14:38gonna kill them, Michael. Ain't nobody sleeping outside the stadium or waging their
- 1:14:45day based on the foot, But it is on the It might be the
- 1:14:49greatest basketball rivalry that we know. It's as good as anybody Michigan, Ohio
- 1:14:55State, Auburn Alabama football. Those are rivalries all we don't have no rivalry.
- 1:15:00Oh miss show don't it's just play them every year and we don't.
- 1:15:05We don't have no ribbery and bow ain't never walking around like man? Why
- 1:15:10Peyton be acting weird like that? What is wrong with this door? We'll
- 1:15:13be back Who more the sports talk show right after this More Mighty, I'm
- 1:15:18just my homies in the Homi you tick into the Simon got me? What
- 1:15:23stressing my business? Up to? The question is when I lived no one

- 1:15:30with Wayne Dandy is coming up next. Have you noticed bad behavior has become
- 1:15:38normalized at interscholastic athletic events. Some fan seem angry, they lacks civility towards
- 1:15:44one another. Some even get aggressive and unruly. Time out. What is
- 1:15:50going on? This has to stop. Let's not forget. School sports aren't
- 1:15:56just about winning, and they're definitely not an excuse to take your frustrations out
- 1:16:00on the official or the opponent. They are about teaching lessons like perseverance,
- 1:16:05respect, and empathy so students can learn and grow as people, not just
- 1:16:11as players. We all have a role to play in setting a good example
- 1:16:15for our students and teaching them these important values. So fans, it's time
- 1:16:19to step up your game and behave positively at interscholastic athletic events in Georgia.

- 1:17:34speaking of Amazonians. It's forty four years old. Qua Nus Williams quank.
- 1:17:44Marie Cooper of the Browns. Mario still with the Browns, right, yes,
- 1:17:47wide receiver, he's thirty years of age. Emanuel Quickly the point guard.
- 1:17:55Yeah, he plays for the Knicks. Order the Sixers. Now where
- 1:17:58is raptors? Raptors moving around the moving boy, he was just doing work
- 1:18:01for the Knicks, right, Yeah, he was in that trade with RJ.
- 1:18:06Barrett. Yeah, dudes move around more than do. He's twenty five.
- 1:18:13Justin Jefferson of the Vikings is twenty five as well. Paul McCartney and
- 1:18:18last week you said that all the Beatles were getting their individual movies right,
- 1:18:24Uh, and we feel like Paul or John will start off. Yeah,
- 1:18:30they should to get people interested. Yeah. Yeah, Paul's kind of like
- 1:18:33a Trump or Michael Jackson almost said, you have to tell the period in
- 1:18:39his life. He's been relevant and successful for so long and had so many
- 1:18:44different eras in music that you would have to do with Paul. Yeah.
- 1:18:48I would to end with John because John is dead, so his research would
- 1:18:54be whatever it is, right, And Paul is, like you're saying,
- 1:18:57Paul is more intricate, Yes, doing stuff, He's still releasing music and
- 1:19:02all that. Yeah, And then we all voted that Ringo would go second,
- 1:19:06and then what's the other guys? We always forget the name George,
- 1:19:12George. We'll go and ringo somewhere like it's always May second. Why am
- 1:19:15I second? Blake Shelton, who is the oldest forty eight? Looking your
- 1:19:21old man, Blake Shelton. You ain't live country music, though you ain't
- 1:19:27never live country music. Blake lived. Every time I see Blake Shelton's age,
- 1:19:31I say, county line, it's a country music youn. You ain't
- 1:19:35never, You ain't never, You ain't never drank before and Arn Shelton is
- 1:19:39not sixty one. You ain't never drank till four in the morning, then
- 1:19:45had to be up for work at four thirty. I know that forty eight
- 1:19:49is Blake Shelton. Who else we are? Antonio Gates is forty four,
- 1:19:55the tighty end Hall of Famer to be Bruce Smith the Hall of Famer sixty
- 1:19:58one, Jeff sad Day forty nine, Kendrick Lamar thirty seven is Kendrick al
- 1:20:08Cowlings, Oh j Boy seventy seven. And guess what today is? The
- 1:20:14day thirty years ago the chase happened? Oh was it? Today? Is
- 1:20:17today? Chase? And officially thirty years ago he gave up his name and
- 1:20:25just became oh J boys. When the last time you called him by his
- 1:20:30government name ac AC that just oh what's on the driver's a oh J boy?
- 1:20:42He had Hi got a license office today be like, oh, oh
- 1:20:44J boy? What for sure? Nah's the hip hop star is bringing back
- 1:20:50a movie to Broadway as a musical act. Beat Street is the movie V
- 1:21:00I'm quite sure whenever beat Street was hot, which would be forty years ago,
- 1:21:05I probably watched it, but I have no clue of the premise.
- 1:21:13Whenever I watched it was the last time I watched it, and I wager
- 1:21:15that was around the time I cut my hair like this, which would have
- 1:21:19been forty years ago. It was a it was I think it was one
- 1:21:26of the from a production studio they made all the breaking and rapping, the
- 1:21:33one with Mario van Peebles as a rapper. Uh so it's it's among those.
- 1:21:39But it was when like hip hop was a new looked at it as
- 1:21:43a as a fad because B Street had it showed the DJ part of it,
- 1:21:49It showed the dancing, It showed the production and also showed the graffiti,
- 1:21:54and it showed just the overall beat right, because I was a big
- 1:21:58fame, remember show fame. I used to like Fame back in the day.
- 1:22:03I think they made a musical out of it, or was it a
- 1:22:06musical first. It was a music first and in a TV show adaptation,
- 1:22:11So I used to like that. And I'm saying I watched Beach Street.
- 1:22:14I'm not put what I'm saying, but I haven't watched it since any of
- 1:22:18that. I don't think they've tried to make a remake of it. They
- 1:22:20had any kind of way they have of each street, but Breaking they did.
- 1:22:27You know, they just kept making two and three and four. Oh
- 1:22:30okay, okay, you know they kept bringing Yeah Turboat Breaking was like Fast
- 1:22:34and the Furious. They just you don't even know how many came out.
- 1:22:40It's like nine of us all the same year too. Yeah. Jay Z
- 1:22:45was out supporting Alicia Keys last night, Big Kenny. Yes, he pops
- 1:22:53up at the most important stuff now, the society stuff seems like Tom Brady's
- 1:22:58Jersey retirement. And last night he performed at the theater, but he performed
- 1:23:02from outside the theater. They said he didn't perform alongside at least Keys because
- 1:23:08the stage was too small, is what they assert. So he did his
- 1:23:12part of their duo duet Empire State of Mind from outside the theater, and
- 1:23:17I think she kind of went from inside to the lobby and finished her part.
- 1:23:26So jay Z's popping. And they were in New York, Yes,
- 1:23:30they were. I mean, you know that's fitting the outside concrete jungles and
- 1:23:35I'm saying we talked about retirement and what that looks like for some people.

- 1:23:48to be very much keeping himself relevant in the entertainment era. We've got sports,

- 1:24:00day and then inserting himself at the Tony Awards, which is not just acting,
- 1:24:04but the sophisticated arm of acting, with the Broadway arm of acting and
- 1:24:11allying within Alicia Keys, who's nominated for several Tonies for a Broadway play she's
- 1:24:16produced well, and like you say, you see it as him making that
- 1:24:21Madison Avenue stroll, you know, like Tom Brady walking out on your song.
- 1:24:28You know, he comes out and then you at the Tony's the next
- 1:24:31day and those are Those are the type of things you work for as an

- 1:26:57it, then I freaked it. Eighty seven forty Weekend the weekend and see
- 1:27:03what you want to see what you want what you want? Wait? This
- 1:27:06what shuck shuk? This what shuck wing can d Rory McRoy had a collapse
- 1:27:14at the US Open. Remember h Rory just weeks before announced that he was
- 1:27:20getting a divorce, and then the week of the US Open he says that
- 1:27:27he was reconciling his marriage. Uh, and then he had a breakdown out
- 1:27:31on the golf course. I'm not saying those two things go together. I'm
- 1:27:36just saying those two things happen around the same time. Women ruined pretty much
- 1:27:44everything. I'm translating for what this man is saying. I don't know,
- 1:27:48but I would say we all been there right getting a divorced. But I
- 1:27:53don't want to wish that divorce it is any time he go to court,
- 1:28:00we done, no, they said, Yeah. That means I can't afford
- 1:28:05to let you go. I'm gonna just have to let you make me miserable
- 1:28:10from inside the house. I can't afford to let you make me miserable from
- 1:28:15another residence. Do you know what that looks like for me? On my
- 1:28:18bottom line? I got the lyric for you, Rory. Uh. And
- 1:28:24the biggest thing that stood out for me, I must say, bad producer
- 1:28:29in any of this, But what's his name? Brice and desh Shambo won
- 1:28:35the US Open. Yes, sir, that's not a surprise, great golfer,
- 1:28:40Rory taking back his wife. It is what it is. Rory McElroy
- 1:28:45not winning a major in ten years stood out to me. Yes, out
- 1:28:51of all the things, exactly exactly what I'm trying to say, that was
- 1:28:57the biggest thing. I'm sitting there reading and I'm thinking, that can happen,
- 1:29:01That can happen. I know that can happen. And I got to
- 1:29:05the park where he hadn't won a major in a decade. That's let's just
- 1:29:09show me. I don't understand that. How he's even in the wheelhouse.
- 1:29:13Well, that just show you how tough it is and what Jacks, that's
- 1:29:15forty opportunities. Yeah, but that's what But that's what I'm saying. It
- 1:29:18just showed you how great this so Jack Nicholson Tiger Woods to be those to
- 1:29:24win, so many people are so close Rory has been in those ten years.
- 1:29:29Have it's bitten. In the US Open, he's been number two.
- 1:29:31You don't get to argue against live or anybody you ain't got, thank you.
- 1:29:45He s he been close that time I met Serena, Thank you so
- 1:29:48much. Close close, ain't a deal closed? Can I have a moment?
- 1:29:54Just the moment we were and we locked eyes. Why I was getting
- 1:30:00out THEO but she was getting in the limousine. We locked eyes and I
- 1:30:03said Serena and she said, funny man, And what's gone sports? Joab.
- 1:30:11It was kind of like it was a little bit, a little bit
- 1:30:14short, almost a little bit short of like that connected. Just give me
- 1:30:17thirty. I won't give me thirty. I want to applaud that because that's
- 1:30:19the biggest thing that a lot of us have been saying that when Rory and
- 1:30:25a lot of people didn't understand, like, man, you ain't even doing
- 1:30:28nothing, like yeah, your name is here, you got to commerce,
- 1:30:30but you're arguing and to the point that you you are, yeah, one
- 1:30:34of the best and you're one of the greatest to do it in the last
- 1:30:39twenty years fifteen years or so. But that was the big thing. You
- 1:30:43dude, you're not even winning and you steady go out here and win instead
- 1:30:46of arguing about what's going on. But I think this winning with d Chambeau
- 1:30:51is gonna try to bridge this thing together because everybody wants to be entertained.
- 1:30:56The bottom line, and that was entertaining yesterday. I don't care who you
- 1:30:59are, you an amateur, club, professional, or pro. Everybody has
- 1:31:04experienced that three hole breakdown. I tell any of my juniors, anybody were
- 1:31:10the last three holes are the most important holes and some kind of way you
- 1:31:13gotta find something deep within. I don't care if you just playing a regular
- 1:31:17rec game with your friends the last three holes. I've seen it happen.
- 1:31:21I missed those many putts that short money on the line, money on the
- 1:31:26line, I mean, I don't care if it's for a dollar or a
- 1:31:28million dollars. That is reality. What happened to Rory macroy ten years When
- 1:31:33I saw this, I kept thinking, what's the guy that got his tooth
- 1:31:36knocked out last week? Frank you know the boxer? Oh oh, Javonte
- 1:31:43Dames David No, No, the guy who he was? He was real
- 1:31:47good for about Wilders, Wow. Yeah, and he's in Floyd weight class.
- 1:31:55He was fighting this week, got his tooth knocked out the week of
- 1:32:00the problem. Adrian Bronner. And remember when Adrian Bronner was like legit and
- 1:32:11for the last decade he's been a joke. Guys are knocking him out that
- 1:32:18are almost like amateurs. They're like five fights into the game and not just
- 1:32:25beating him. I'm talking about knocking him my ket But he keeps running his
- 1:32:29mouths and jumping on social media and all these things like you would swear he
- 1:32:33has knocked out the last four contenders himself. But when I heard this is
- 1:32:40the saying I thought of Rory, like, it's tough. Ten years,
- 1:32:45it's tough. It's tough for it. You ain't won one major in ten
- 1:32:48years. It's tough, not one in the in the prime of your career.
- 1:32:54Now, this is different if it was forty plus and he's thirty five,
- 1:32:59or if you was eight team to twenty five. But I'm from twenty
- 1:33:01five to thirty five. In a game like golf, to me, is
- 1:33:10your your years. That's when the back is strong, the technique should be
- 1:33:15sharp. You okay with theo am wake up calls and stuff like that.
- 1:33:20You might not have a wife or children by then, So you none of
- 1:33:24that getting on your nerve. You got peace. You got got peace because
- 1:33:30yeah, he'd been mad about half years. You got all of that.
- 1:33:33So but Roy and McElroy ten year. That's the biggest thing, the meltdown,
- 1:33:38that's whatever that could be. That indecisiveness about what to do with his
- 1:33:43own personal life. To me, that's what how those things spill out.
- 1:33:47You don't know whether you know two weeks ago you was divorced court today you
- 1:33:53back all that. Still those feelings right or wrong, can come out,
- 1:33:58but not to have one a major in ten years and pulled the wool over
- 1:34:02my eye. Yeah, he pulled the wool over life. I would have
- 1:34:04never thought that. You've gone forty tournaments, bick Kenny and instead of getting
- 1:34:09a check and your whole claim is I'm number two, I keep coming on
- 1:34:13too on the leaderboard, you know, and then talking about he don't want
- 1:34:17to go to live or y'all shouldn't go down to guys just winning and how
- 1:34:23you know and guess you know what we said. And the funniest thing about
- 1:34:27Rory that even yesterday the worst break down is that situation with Greg Norman.
- 1:34:31And he's besides Greg Norman, who he hates, quote unquote, he is
- 1:34:38compared to Greg Norman even before this yesterday because of his breakdowns in the on
- 1:34:43the last day where he'll just frizze out, fauzle out. What well,
- 1:34:47maybe that's kind of like that tipping culture, the automatic point of sale tip
- 1:34:55thing. He still keeps being celebrated as if he's winning. Why why should
- 1:35:00he focus anymore? Why should he practice and learn to block things out and
- 1:35:05manage the pressure any better than he's doing it when he's still being celebrated ten
- 1:35:11years on, no where to do and they still going to him. But
- 1:35:14you played four rounds, you're in the top going, and you was coming
- 1:35:16up the leaderboard, you was making noise and then the last three holes,
- 1:35:20I mean, and how much does he win for number two? So yeah,
- 1:35:30they don't punish you. Yeah, they don't punish you for not getting
- 1:35:32your stuff together. That is so right there. Vic Kenny Leah Thomas,
- 1:35:40the swimmer that has been in the media here for the last couple of years,
- 1:35:45the transgender swimmer has been banned from the Olympic participation. She had solicited
- 1:35:53the Olympic Committee to allow her. But the powers that be, Remember places
- 1:36:02like the Olympic Committee, they don't really have a boss. We don't actually
- 1:36:08know who they are. They're about as anonymous as the c i A.
- 1:36:13They just somebody comes to a decision two people, hundred people, Olivia,
- 1:36:19Pope, Daddy just make all them decisions and you just gotta roll with it.
- 1:36:27And you don't know who they are. They don't give you a picture,
- 1:36:30They don't even really give you a lot of explanation. They just you
- 1:36:32we're here. I'm not surprised. I mean, we're talking about a committee
- 1:36:36that has been enthralled in the controversy of even letting casta semi y how you
- 1:36:48run who they saying had a disadvantage because she had a naturally high level of
- 1:36:55test. So to me, it was a shot in the dark in the
- 1:37:00Castasia had eaj A Johnson levels. No, no, I will not stop,
- 1:37:09you stop, you stopped. It was kind of like a little bit
- 1:37:15I'm saying, if you look at him close, they got a little bit
- 1:37:18like the same. But now this is this is my question. If Leah
- 1:37:28is Thomas, yes, has been banned internationally, how is it that she
- 1:37:33was able to be the n c A A women's national champion. I mean,
- 1:37:42the sport itself, the governing body that nationally handles this says, non,
- 1:37:46Leah, that ain't that. Ain't this now this ain't that that ain't
- 1:37:50this. You can't come over here with you, you know how like over
- 1:37:54here a little bit, just on this side, they let you plead not
- 1:38:00guilty. Oh yeah. But in the Philippines, i'd had my hands changed
- 1:38:05hands, I said, yeah, yeah, by this time, I'd have
- 1:38:11just been shoulders in Philippinios right right, So with my history, by now,
- 1:38:16I'd just be a torso. But in America, I'm on a sports
- 1:38:21jock show. You sports illustration president. Yeah, they put my name literally
- 1:38:28be president in the USA. With all that on you, we'll be back.

- 1:41:27Shock shot the sport shock Wayne again thee uh. Michael Jordan's kids challenged him

- 1:42:00want to switch up and do that to my stomach so that they weren't twisting
- 1:42:03it on. Oh, come on, man, but you take a shot,
- 1:42:08Ricky. I'm going to go. I'm going to go. G A
- 1:42:15G G take a shot. Trevor Lawrence got a big deal to stay with
- 1:42:23the jag Wars a lot of pressure in Jacksonville. It shows you can be
- 1:42:29in one of those cities where there's some expectations, but they're not really expectations
- 1:42:34in this situation for what Trevor has done, and certain cities would be on
- 1:42:39the spotlight, right you take his countermait justin fields. When he was in
- 1:42:44Chicago. It was like a As the World Turned kind of movie. But
- 1:42:48you can go to it. There's a couple of select teams you can go
- 1:42:51and hide out in and people don't really ridicule you, and you can come
- 1:42:58up and still make top chef dollar and not have that pressure for ten years.
- 1:43:04And I'm gonna stay on that, you know, I'm not gonna let
- 1:43:09that go for ten years. But Trevor Lawrence will be a jag here for
- 1:43:13the next couple of years. He was their first pick. No really really
- 1:43:16real reason not to re sign him. Just you don't ever feel that expectation
- 1:43:25of like you see, as we always say, like someone like a Dak
- 1:43:29Prescott that that can't even win, right, Yeah, he has to win
- 1:43:36a certain way or people scrutinize him. It's like it's got to be you
- 1:43:42know, through six. But you did throw that interception though, Dad,
- 1:43:45what do you think about that interception you threw? Did you throw the ball
- 1:43:47a little sooner? He would have had that extra step and it wouldn't have
- 1:43:50been a So Trevor is going underneath the radar. The Falcons uh did get
- 1:44:00fine for their involvement, as they said, tampering with their quarterback. Uh
- 1:44:08they lost a draft pick right, Yeah, signed and the GM was fine.
- 1:44:15Now are they saying the team contacted Kirk Cousins too soon? It was
- 1:44:18arranged the GM? I think it was. I think they arranged like they
- 1:44:23made travel arrangements for him when they agreed two terms before he signed. So
- 1:44:31that's tampering, that's yeah, I guess type of thing. Hey, Kirk,
- 1:44:39we want to bring you in, We want you to play for us,
- 1:44:41all right, I'll play for y'all. All right. Well, so
- 1:44:44we're gonna we're gonna get you a flight and they can't do. Me and
- 1:44:47my old lady, don't break up. Me and my old lady break up.
- 1:44:50We are we are, we gonna break up soon. I'm saying,
- 1:44:57I get you a ticket to the A and we can hang out just to
- 1:45:00see if when this breakup thing, go through, how me and you are
- 1:45:04ived. That's that's that's that's a play, that's a player move what you're
- 1:45:08doing. So you can't say you bought the liquor at eleven forty five.
- 1:45:13I'm positive. I'm positive it was eleven forty five and I bought that laker,
- 1:45:16right, So it was twelve fifteen when you you went the liquors.
- 1:45:20I told your boy that already, it's twelve to fifteen. I'm in the
- 1:45:25liquor store. That's what I'm saying. You know, you're on messed up
- 1:45:29bright huh. And that's kind of how this whole case is. So basically
- 1:45:32the Falcons within the framework what the NFL say when and how you can make
- 1:45:39arrangements. I think the Falcons just are still The league is still mad at
- 1:45:44the Falcons for pumping in that noise. Yeah, that's what I was say
- 1:45:46years ago, they pumped that noise in. Yeah in the state that was
- 1:45:49that was in Georgia though, Yeah, but yeah that's only five years ago.
- 1:45:54Man. The people people bring up still stuff. Yeah, they still
- 1:45:58mad. Back when I had had they got you talking about it. I
- 1:46:05got to go to jail. But they got some confidential informants working for the
- 1:46:10NFL checking us now making sure we're still not pumping the noise in the Bends.
- 1:46:14Delonte West, former point guard in the nb A was presumed dead.
- 1:46:20Kenny You said they found him arrested, how he had been taken to a
- 1:46:27hospital and then released, and then he was found wandering around the parking lot.
- 1:46:33So it wasn't dead and not really and then the police chased him and
- 1:46:38when they found him, he was unresponsive and he kind of thought he was
- 1:46:42dead, but then they gave him narkn He was like, no, I'm
- 1:46:45not dead. And we've all been there wandering around after we got released and
- 1:46:49running from the police, and then they catch us later. Why would they
- 1:46:54release him just to chase him again though, I mean, because we've all
- 1:47:00it's a game of chasing tag. I mean, it's kind of like I
- 1:47:02mean, it depends. I mean, it depends on how you just We're
- 1:47:06gonna let you out, but if we can't find you again, you can
- 1:47:09stay out. I win today, Okay, if if you don't catch me,
- 1:47:13I win today. But y'all gonna keep on looking. It's like Ali,
- 1:47:15it ain't no Ali, Ali Oxen free with the cops. You know
- 1:47:17what I'm saying, If you got a warrant, they gonna keep on doing
- 1:47:20their job. So Delante is okay. Though they reported that he had died,
- 1:47:26but he just had the little not a little. He had a medical
- 1:47:30emergency. And remember Delonte West, the one thing about him, he was
- 1:47:32in the NBA for about six seven years. Uh, he was clinically diagnosed
- 1:47:39with bipolarism, and a lot of the things that affect him center around from
- 1:47:47at least in the past where he would mention or family members would say that
- 1:47:51Delonte just does not like what the medication does, right, And I guess
- 1:47:59in between that sometimes when he is not on it, well, when it
- 1:48:02gets out of his system, he finds himself. One time he was living
- 1:48:09behind a heart ease or something for a couple of weeks. It was like
- 1:48:12a block away from his house, a lock away from his house. And
- 1:48:15a lot of people get confused because when you're taking psychotropic drugs, a lot
- 1:48:20of the people who are prescribe them say that they don't like how it makes
- 1:48:27them feel or what it makes them do, and then you see the effects
- 1:48:31of them not being on the medication, and you wonder, like can it
- 1:48:34be worse than what you're going through now? And for them, yes,
- 1:48:41they don't want to feel that way, to the point that you can't even
- 1:48:44we can't even say that. The visuals that you get on Delonte West is
- 1:48:48an example. The visuals say Delonte West has lost everything he owns, right,
- 1:48:54we don't know. I don't know that to be true. Right,
- 1:48:58we do know he goes into the space where it sends him to this homeless
- 1:49:02kind of because I remember the first case as we go to break I think
- 1:49:06he was on a motorcycle, nicked but well, and we laughed, but
- 1:49:11until we found out that he was true it was something he had got pulled
- 1:49:14over or something. I think when maybe we was in Cleveland and they had
- 1:49:16to come out and just be honest that he was he doesn't like I guess
- 1:49:20it puts you in a very paralyzed place. Mike Tyson was like that right
- 1:49:27with his Fike Man. That's why he smokes weed all the time. Yeah,
- 1:49:30it's it's very debilitating. Well, we'll be back right after this.
- 1:49:36What's side when we come we quickly game. You claim to be a player,

- 1:50:00exciting, life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:50:05piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance.
- 1:50:11When I was twenty five, me and my wife were just getting started with
- 1:50:13our family and thought we live forever life insurance, Well, it's the last
- 1:50:15thing on my mind. What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or
- 1:50:19bills? When I was forty, with a kid in college and bills piling
- 1:50:23up, I was worried how my family will survive without me. That's what
- 1:50:25I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives you power, and
- 1:50:29life insurance gives your family security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:50:32Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I leave my family with
- 1:50:35bills or benefits. The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:50:40whether you earn a little or a lot, all you need is the
- 1:50:43insurance informant to help you build a foundation of security, because without you,
- 1:50:46your family will have two options. Benefits or bills. Which legacy will you
- 1:50:51leave behind? Log on today Benefits or bills dot com. That's benefits or

- 1:52:02the sports job, Wayne Gay. It's time for the school board when we
- 1:52:10put a spin on life and sports and how they intermingle on the Sports Jack
- 1:52:15Show with Wayne Gandy. I see dad people, mother, I mean I
- 1:52:29must have hunt the beef, deep boat and red here free fop man,
- 1:52:32damn callor ember the lamps tell him breathe broke nlaw to the cross. He
- 1:52:35walking around like t so what's up with the pony here? Trying to seek
- 1:52:39Compton? The Indus streaking hate me, marlingdon Mama, how many options held?
- 1:52:43He got? How many? It's too many options. I'm finna pass
- 1:52:45on this body. I'm John stockedon Wait, wait this what shock show?
- 1:52:48I'm just whe shock Wayne Gay. NBA Finals tonight, the MAVs against the
- 1:52:57cell Tigs. MAVs have to win. One thing about this mav Celtics series.
- 1:53:04Luca Duncan, one of the top five players you would imagine in the
- 1:53:10world, young man who was in a Hawk uniform for a second and then
- 1:53:15found himself in Dallas as a Mav literally a second. But Paul Pierce the
- 1:53:26truth as he calls himself, who is a Hall of Famer himself says that
- 1:53:32the referees think that Luca is a butthole in the way that they deal with
- 1:53:43him. I can see what Paul Pierce is alluding to. When I watched
- 1:53:47Luca in all his greatness and definitely a guy Hall of Famer to be as
- 1:53:54dangerous, would love him in a Hawk uniform, which we could go back
- 1:53:57in time. No knock on Tray. My thing was that Luca was six
- 1:54:01eight. Really it was like the same a bigger version of the same person.
- 1:54:06We were like Lucas. That gives you that seven inches of hype,
- 1:54:11gives a different spin to it, and play in a restraints you can that's
- 1:54:15playing some defense. Yeah, that's what I means. So that gave him
- 1:54:18a little versatility. I remember, you know Draft night we said that Luca
- 1:54:23was six eight and Tray be acting light skin y'all. Remember when we said
- 1:54:26that. Yeah, I dread second. Remember I'm just giving both of them
- 1:54:33their due. It's like the same player Luca, just it's seven eight inches
- 1:54:38taller, so that gives him different advantages in certain things. But I do
- 1:54:44watch Luca, Luca reminds me, and Luca is Serbian, right, what
- 1:54:48is he Slovenian the same. Okay, a little bit. He does remind
- 1:54:55me of guys that play ball down at the city g M or guys that
- 1:55:01I would go over at l A fitness and play where he is part time
- 1:55:10ref, part time player, like he every play ball. Give me give
- 1:55:17me man, y'all know the guy foul fo. Come on, let me
- 1:55:26get that, Let me get my change, Let me give me a change.
- 1:55:29Bro, come on, I thought it was just me. You got
- 1:55:30me. I do know who I'm talking about. Look, look you scratch
- 1:55:33me right here. You got me. Look you could see with scratched No,
- 1:55:36no, no, no no. We ain't going down the court about
- 1:55:40take out. Take him not. I call fiul. I want it right
- 1:55:43now. You give my call. No, don't worry about don't worry about
- 1:55:45it. She does never win, winner's never cheatd bottle line. Y'all y'all
- 1:55:48have experienced this. Oh yeah, look at that. I'm saying, this
- 1:55:55is game. That's I guess what that play That player has no color.
- 1:56:00Uh So when I when Paul yourself, I was like, yeah, that's
- 1:56:04how he reminds me of this guy that he is part time trying to do
- 1:56:10their job. Part of them winning the other night was that he did he
- 1:56:15carried on zero with that, he just played whatever they call he rode with
- 1:56:23and and it's just the thing because you hate to see those guys. That's
- 1:56:27why I said he has that, Trey Young. You're arguing with the ref
- 1:56:31so much. You ain't even getting back on defense. You're acting like the
- 1:56:35playover. The play is over. You you down here and they screaming because
- 1:56:40this took off and you so see what you did? You didn't you?
- 1:56:45You did? You should have called that like his own team is at to
- 1:56:49say, like, stop complaining about everything. You can see it in time.
- 1:56:57He's looking for the role the problem. Yes, Kyrie has. Kyrie
- 1:57:02has just looked like man. I thought Lebron. I thought Lebron was kyriever
- 1:57:12that like, Man, I gotta go call Lebron. Man got to look
- 1:57:15like y'all be complaining about me burning sage. I told Lebron I wasn't gonna
- 1:57:20ever call him again. I got a call and apologize, man, because
- 1:57:24my bad, my bad brother. Let me. Hey man, look,
- 1:57:27I'm gonna send the jet to get you. My my treat you the second
- 1:57:32I have found him right now, you the second whiniest dude, I know,
- 1:57:38Bron like, no man, man, Luca be complaining in the locker
- 1:57:42room. We ain't even got y'all found the game. We're gonna go with.
- 1:57:47The game ain't started yet. Well, Luca, the same way tonight,
- 1:57:53Luca. If you're gonna win, it's gonna have to just be playing
- 1:57:56basketball. The referees. I I really particularly love for referees to let the
- 1:58:03player play a little bit and try to remove themselves. Especially in the finals.
- 1:58:10Almost I need to call all two teams together and just kind of let
- 1:58:15them know if you ain't bleeding, come on, don't even look over here
- 1:58:19all that new this and that. Man, I ain't even bro we already
- 1:58:27met in the back. Everybody got four blows of the whistle. That's all
- 1:58:30the night. So I ain't got but two left. I can't use it.
- 1:58:34It's the first quarter. They as they say to you, you must
- 1:58:39swallow your whistle. They swallowed their whistle to night. Yeah, they they
- 1:58:43ain't calling run but Luca, Uh definitely. Paul Pierre, I salute you
- 1:58:48on that. I didn't know if y'all been to the gym with those kind
- 1:58:50of people's funny. We've all experienced that, and then when standing there talking
- 1:58:56about we ain't going down, ain't nobody taking no, I got I'm ball
- 1:59:00right here, And when Paul Pierre said it make you doubt it just a
- 1:59:03little bit. But what I'm saying, but he would be an expert.
- 1:59:09He was in that. He was always looking to them. So that's what
- 1:59:13I'm saying. All these guys happy that Luca came by because it makes them
- 1:59:17look like amateurs and at least they were a little older when they had got
- 1:59:21a little slower. Luca in his prime at twenty five twenty six, he
- 1:59:26stayed with the referee, so I thought he was using as a ploy to
- 1:59:30slow down the clock because he always seems like he's barely in enough shape,
- 1:59:35so he do it to try to keep the ball slow. It's almost like
- 1:59:38the layer game approach that he takes, speaking by himself ten seconds standing getting
- 1:59:45you to explain, come on, man, and we are in. The
- 1:59:54truth is he will throw you to the ocean. It's time to rap thingself.
- 2:00:00A sports jut show with Wayne Kenny when he designs an ocean to give
- 2:00:38to sports, Shall cats a minute to Vin, We'd like to thank you
- 2:00:41for tuning in to today's show. If you missed any of this broadcast,
- 2:00:45you can go to Apple Podcasts, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer, Audible,
- 2:00:50or iHeartRadio, Big Kenny comand you, Greg bad producer, thank you for
- 2:00:56your contributions to Today. Thirty years ago today, I was in Madison Square
- 2:01:08Garden watching the Houston Rockets take on the New York Knicks in the ninety four
- 2:01:17Finals Game five. The Knicks won that game that date, but around halftime
- 2:01:27of the game, a white bronco flashed on the TV at the concession stand,
- 2:01:34and everybody was confused that maybe they finally came over here to get us.
- 2:01:44But as further review went, it just happened to be a lone white
- 2:01:47bronco for a young man named O. J. Simpson hiding in the back
- 2:01:57long ride. This bronco on the juice was loose and his boy AC was
- 2:02:08doing the drive. The most infamous case in my lifetime had transpired OJ free
- 2:02:18in a LA Freeway. Ain't that something? Who would have thought that,
- 2:02:24by the way, I would just had gotten back from La. I was
- 2:02:28drafted by the Rams at the same time. But juice right or wrong.
- 2:02:33For thirty years, you have been in the American countries. You will die
- 2:02:39in infamy. Thirty years from now, they probably makes another movie about OJ
- 2:02:45running down the highway with the police. I want to talk to Al,
- 2:02:50though I still never got a conversation in with Al. If I could to
- 2:02:53give me a conversation with Al Collings, I'd be good. So for that
- 2:02:58Jewice, I can't throw you in the ocean. Y already gone right,
- 2:03:02but we can't bring him on the ship for giving us some entertainment all those
- 2:03:08years ago in that Broncos Real quick, do you remember where you were?
- 2:03:23I was. I was at Clayton, I was. I was in Hattiesburg
- 2:03:28University, Southern Mississippi, living well, living in Hattiesburg, and I remember
- 2:03:32my favorite part was how I tried to look casual, like like wasn't nothing
- 2:03:36going on? You remember you, I said, the Partridge in downtown Augusta,
- 2:03:45And yeah, my mom was within a jazz band. She was performing.
- 2:03:48I was in the restaurant, and bad producer was over at the Red
- 2:03:51Rufine, but we've all been there. At my right
