McCoy Out for Season After ACL Tear | Michigan Wolverines Basketball News
Michigan basketball takes a major hit as top-14 recruit Brandon McCoy Jr. tears his ACL during the team’s European tour, sidelining him for the entire 2026-27 season. The injury occurred in Montenegro’s final game against KK Mega SUPERBET, just after McCoy dazzled in Lithuania with averages of 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. With the Wolverines fresh off a national title and counting on McCoy’s explosive potential, this setback could reshape their roster and strategy for the upcoming campaign.
