Luna: Yeah, it really helps us keep going. So, first phrase: how do you ask for help? Lucas: Kunt u mij helpen? That means 'Can you help me?' Let's say it together: Kunt u mij helpen? Luna: Kunt u mij helpen? That's a mouthful but I like it. Lucas: Good. Now imagine you're looking for a gift for a child. You could say: Ik zoek een cadeau voor een kind. 'I'm looking for a gift for a child.' Luna: Ik zoek een cadeau voor een kind. That's useful. And then they'll show you something, right? Lucas: Right. And you might want to ask the price: Hoeveel kost dit? 'How much does this cost?' Luna: Hoeveel kost dit? Simple. Lucas: Or if you want a different color: Heeft u dit in het groen? 'Do you have this in green?' Luna: Heeft u dit in het groen? What if I want blue? Lucas: Then say: Heeft u dit in het blauw? Same pattern. Luna: Got it. And if I decide to buy it: Ik neem het. Lucas: Perfect. Ik neem het. 'I'll take it.' Let's put it all together in a little scene. Luna: Okay, I'll be the customer. Lucas: And I'll be the shop assistant. Kunt u mij helpen?
