- 2:41Speaker 2: speaking of Tea was Tea, Hey, I love this episode down.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I don't know about you, but I am happy that, Like,
- 2:53Speaker 2: what is this episode? We said?
- 2:54Speaker 4: Five?
- 2:54Speaker 2: Right, and there's how many episodes are.
- 2:56Speaker 4: In there because there's gonna be a double double release.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Yeah Halloween? Yeah, so so four yes?
- 3:04Speaker 4: Nine overall?
- 3:05Speaker 2: Nine overall?
- 3:06Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 3:06Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, and we're like to add the halfway point basically, right.
- 3:10Speaker 2: So for something super freaking exciting to finally go down,
- 3:16Speaker 2: how do we I guess should we just start with
- 3:18Speaker 2: the biggest elephant, right and work our way down from there?
- 3:22Speaker 2: We were right, and we were wrong, but we were
- 3:24Speaker 2: also right. Man, it's not who we think he is,
- 3:29Speaker 2: mister teen, who is he?
- 3:33Speaker 5: He is who we think he is, but he also
- 3:35Speaker 5: is not right. That's why I asked. I'm like, what
- 3:38Speaker 5: are his motives? What does he actually want?
- 3:41Speaker 2: Because where you'll come from? Why are you so thirsty
- 3:45Speaker 2: over Agatha? Okay. In the last episode, the review episode four,
- 3:50Speaker 2: when ben Ami was here, we all talked about how
- 3:53Speaker 2: we don't trust him and he needed more people. Teams
- 3:56Speaker 2: specifically won't trust him and we didn't trust how he
- 4:00Speaker 2: was coming like it was just like you know too much,
- 4:03Speaker 2: you are a little How do I explain this? He
- 4:07Speaker 2: was too much of a Stan right, And I know
- 4:10Speaker 2: you're like, well, a stand is already at the highest
- 4:12Speaker 2: level of you know, being too much. But no, he
- 4:14Speaker 2: was like O D O D Stan And as mentioned,
- 4:18Speaker 2: he was just a little too into Agatha.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Right.
- 4:22Speaker 2: You always kept pointing out about his like wanting to
- 4:26Speaker 2: ingratiate himself with Alice, specifically right, the protection which you have,
- 4:30Speaker 2: the tattoo, and how he was like a lot of
- 4:33Speaker 2: stuff he already knew, but he was like asking her,
- 4:34Speaker 2: trying to get information. I still don't know where he
- 4:37Speaker 2: was going with that, but just the fact that he
- 4:40Speaker 2: was suspicious enough where we were like, he's not who
- 4:45Speaker 2: he says he is, and so on and so forth.
- 4:47Speaker 2: This boy, as far as we see on the screen,
- 4:51Speaker 2: is Wicking all right. For those who don't know who
- 4:55Speaker 2: Wicked is, because some more looking up, there's some more googlings,
- 5:00Speaker 2: some more reddits. Okay, Wickan is one of the quote
- 5:05Speaker 2: children of Wanda Maximov and I have to use quotes
- 5:08Speaker 2: because depending on what stories you've read in the comics,
- 5:13Speaker 2: they could either be essentially figments of Wanda's imagination just
- 5:17Speaker 2: her reality bending powers just made them appear, you know,
- 5:23Speaker 2: maculate conception style. Or they are pieces of an entity
- 5:29Speaker 2: called Mephisto. And we've expressed in previous conversations that Mephisto
- 5:34Speaker 2: is essentially the devil himself of the MCU, very very
- 5:38Speaker 2: powerful figure. And both Wickan and his brother Speed also
- 5:44Speaker 2: known as Billy and Tommy Maximov, they are part of
- 5:48Speaker 2: this just well of magic that they appear. It's kind
- 5:51Speaker 2: of giving Acolyte a little bit. It's giving Acolyte, it's
- 5:54Speaker 2: giving ac lit it's getting May and Osha, it's giving
- 5:56Speaker 2: May and Ocean when I think about it. And there's
- 6:01Speaker 2: more to it, but before I continue, I wanted you
- 6:02Speaker 2: to go ahead and chime in.
- 6:04Speaker 4: I appreciate.
- 6:08Speaker 5: The iconography that Marvel is doing around people who have crowns. Yeah,
- 6:16Speaker 5: because hers we have low Key when he pops his out,
- 6:22Speaker 5: we have and we have Wanda Hers also just like
- 6:25Speaker 5: maximofft into existence or whatever. So Wickans coming in to
- 6:31Speaker 5: like put the period at the end of like speculation
- 6:34Speaker 5: that he was Wigan was so like on the nose.
- 6:39Speaker 4: What can I tell you?
- 6:40Speaker 5: What's funny is that, remember this is one of my
- 6:44Speaker 5: like my l like predictions that I was like, oh,
- 6:46Speaker 5: I feel like initially I was considering like if because
- 6:50Speaker 5: I'd watched the first few episodes in like all in
- 6:55Speaker 5: like ahead of time, but also like all in like
- 6:58Speaker 5: a binge, so I couldn't remember because I had I
- 7:03Speaker 5: couldn't flip back at the time. If each one ended
- 7:06Speaker 5: with a different song and I realized they didn't accept,
- 7:09Speaker 5: then my going theory was, each time there's a death,
- 7:12Speaker 5: we're gonna get a song that's not the theme song.
- 7:16Speaker 2: It did say that, and this are we talking? These
- 7:19Speaker 2: are the true deaths happening all around us.
- 7:21Speaker 4: That's the question.
- 7:25Speaker 5: And and I have speculations and like we should we're
- 7:28Speaker 5: gonna do to REWB. But I have speculations about why
- 7:31Speaker 5: Rio is noticeably gone whenever I've seen happens, because.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Like in the question of true death, it's.
- 7:42Speaker 5: Just because like the way that like respond people are
- 7:45Speaker 5: responding to the different things, and like they're the witchess,
- 7:48Speaker 5: and you think they would know. But also it's so
- 7:51Speaker 5: funny that one of the things that like, well, like
- 7:54Speaker 5: I guess it's come sick or they gets back.
- 7:55Speaker 4: To the beginning, is that.
- 8:00Speaker 5: The one of the rules for the Ouiji board was
- 8:03Speaker 5: don't ask about death.
- 8:04Speaker 4: Here we are questioning is this true death?
- 8:08Speaker 2: I mean because this first of all was Marvel, who
- 8:11Speaker 2: the fuck knows? Niggas lie all the time.
- 8:15Speaker 5: You might know, you might have thought you've seen something,
- 8:17Speaker 5: but what you saw might have been nothing.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Everybody's cappin to be very honest. So and I don't.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I don't believe anything that I see in front of
- 8:24Speaker 2: my eyes the way they expressily nothing. We're just talking
- 8:27Speaker 2: about magic and it's all about subterfuge and and tricking
- 8:31Speaker 2: people and all this other stuff. So no, I don't
- 8:33Speaker 2: believe it. And then this whole thing, just to step
- 8:36Speaker 2: back a little bit, just this whole thing with with
- 8:38Speaker 2: Billy slash wickan was he just undercovered this whole time?
- 8:46Speaker 2: Like it's interesting also when did Agila actually clock who
- 8:51Speaker 2: he was? Right? Like she had to have been known,
- 8:54Speaker 2: but also like she still was under this thing, like
- 8:56Speaker 2: she was treating him like as if he was Nicholas.
- 8:59Speaker 2: And remember you pointed out from last last episode how
- 9:02Speaker 2: Rio was like, that's not you, that's not you, bou
- 9:04Speaker 2: that's that's not your son. You know, relax yourself. And
- 9:08Speaker 2: I was like, oh well, that could be something else,
- 9:10Speaker 2: but no, like she was just telling her, like you
- 9:12Speaker 2: need to relax and like just stop. Like she just
- 9:15Speaker 2: became like a mother all of a sudden. But I
- 9:17Speaker 2: also think that was helping Agatha be balanced. And you
- 9:21Speaker 2: saw that at the towards the end of this trial
- 9:24Speaker 2: when the Nicholas scratch name gets shouted out and all
- 9:27Speaker 2: of a sudden, Agatha comes back. She gets back, you know,
- 9:31Speaker 2: instead of just being this aggressive, evil quote rich, she
- 9:35Speaker 2: comes back like she she's cool, right, and she she's
- 9:39Speaker 2: you can you can be around her. She's safe, right,
- 9:41Speaker 2: but only in the presence or the mention of her child.
- 9:44Speaker 2: So I don't know where I was going with that,
- 9:49Speaker 2: but but I this episode really made it a point
- 9:57Speaker 2: to pit all of us against and also to give
- 10:05Speaker 2: you some I don't know if I believe it. Like
- 10:07Speaker 2: I said, when we talk about not believing what's presented.
- 10:10Speaker 2: In front of not believing what people say, Agala's saying
- 10:13Speaker 2: shit like, well, I can't control it her basically, like
- 10:17Speaker 2: if someone blasts her a power she absorbs it. Is
- 10:21Speaker 2: that the truth? Because you was moving pretty like on
- 10:25Speaker 2: purpose all these centuries. Now all of a sudden, it's well, no,
- 10:29Speaker 2: the truth is I can't. I can't control it, and
- 10:31Speaker 2: maybe it's truth. I don't know what I mean that
- 10:35Speaker 2: I'm talking about us watching it.
- 10:40Speaker 5: When I on second watch and like rewind, I guess
- 10:45Speaker 5: it definitely like there's a moment when Alice poofs her
- 10:50Speaker 5: mother out of Agatha, and Agatha is like bet taking
- 10:54Speaker 5: your power.
- 10:55Speaker 4: So it's not it's like.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Right, it wasn't like it was her mom.
- 10:59Speaker 4: And it was like it wasn't. She didn't have a
- 11:02Speaker 4: moment to like you know, like you know, like oh thanks.
- 11:06Speaker 5: She was immediately she was like, oh, oh, I'm gonna
- 11:09Speaker 5: take this opportunity like I feel the last.
- 11:11Speaker 4: I'm gonna pull on it immediately immediately. I don't know.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I how do you trust the cat? I mean you can't,
- 11:20Speaker 2: but how do you trust the cat?
- 11:21Speaker 4: Like that?
- 11:22Speaker 2: Like it's like I think it's both ways. And I
- 11:24Speaker 2: remember how I explained, like how just as a character,
- 11:28Speaker 2: how she's being portrayed by Catherine the Queen Han, just
- 11:33Speaker 2: how contradictory she is, Like you want to believe that
- 11:37Speaker 2: Aghtha is actually this tortures soul who has an affliction
- 11:41Speaker 2: that she can't control, and you see it just how
- 11:44Speaker 2: her mother the ghost mother was treating her like I
- 11:48Speaker 2: should have killed you when you was when you fucking
- 11:51Speaker 2: stept okay.
- 11:52Speaker 5: But there's a couple like we need to think, think, well,
- 11:54Speaker 5: how we're gonna have this conversation because my thing is,
- 11:56Speaker 5: there's like a couple of things here one it like
- 12:00Speaker 5: I noted and captured how like her reaction like post
- 12:05Speaker 5: doing it and like even like right, like it's like
- 12:08Speaker 5: she like was questioning like herself, like her own like
- 12:11Speaker 5: like the version of events. She was like, wait, I
- 12:14Speaker 5: didn't do like I'm fine, and she said like I
- 12:17Speaker 5: couldn't help it, like she is an addiction of some sort,
- 12:19Speaker 5: like she's like compelled and she can't like control her addiction.
- 12:23Speaker 4: But at the same time, while I wanted, I.
- 12:31Speaker 5: Felt what they were putting down on us having sympathy
- 12:34Speaker 5: for Agatha. I question Rio's component of that. I question
- 12:40Speaker 5: if you were the mother of Hitler, would you not
- 12:43Speaker 5: have said the same thing that she said to Agatha?
- 12:46Speaker 2: Do you say that's what Agatha is?
- 12:48Speaker 5: Is she not committing atrocities and killing people from different.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Damn?
- 12:55Speaker 2: I mean now that you mention it, damn. But she's
- 13:00Speaker 2: a tragic character. Por shit, but felt bad like don't
- 13:05Speaker 2: tell them you ain't feel And I questioned Rial so heavy, Well, yeah,
- 13:11Speaker 2: who the fuck knows going on with Nancy from the Craft?
- 13:14Speaker 2: Because that's who she is, That is the an homage
- 13:18Speaker 2: of all images number one, But who the hell knows
- 13:21Speaker 2: was going on with her? But I also I think,
- 13:23Speaker 2: just like Agatha, it's just complicated. There are sides, and
- 13:26Speaker 2: this this is actually why I enjoy these captures so much.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Both Rio and Agatha are my favorites out of everybody,
- 13:33Speaker 2: and it's because they are so deeply complicated and so
- 13:37Speaker 2: just deeply out of their minds. Really, like they don't
- 13:41Speaker 2: even know up from down half the time, and you
- 13:43Speaker 2: see them struggle with it, and they struggling with it.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Us as the audience a struggling with it.
- 13:47Speaker 5: We struggles up from down half the time. Rio seems
- 13:51Speaker 5: like Rio is, Rio is confident.
- 13:53Speaker 2: But also when I say up now, I'm talking about
- 13:54Speaker 2: her relationship with Agatha, and like, really, what is that about?
- 13:58Speaker 2: Just like I saw that she felt bath for Homegirl,
- 14:01Speaker 2: and at the end of the day she will turn
- 14:03Speaker 2: around and say, well, let's cut her throat. You understand,
- 14:05Speaker 2: Like it's a very contentious, it's still they still got
- 14:09Speaker 2: love for one another. They still had emotions, you still
- 14:12Speaker 2: have history.
- 14:15Speaker 4: It's a manipulation to me, it is still but it
- 14:18Speaker 4: isn't all of that.
- 14:19Speaker 2: All of this manipulation, even the road is manipulating. This
- 14:22Speaker 2: whole thing is manipulation. To be a witch almost is
- 14:27Speaker 2: a level of manipulation, right, Manipulation of people, manipulation of man.
- 14:32Speaker 5: But that doesn't belong in a relationship, like that's a
- 14:36Speaker 5: very toxic relation, you know what I mean.
- 14:38Speaker 4: And so I just have a lot of questions about Rio, and.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Like where I question the teens motives, I doubly question
- 14:46Speaker 5: Rio's motives. I never think what we're getting out of
- 14:49Speaker 5: Rio's mouth is actually how Rio feels.
- 14:51Speaker 4: I feel like it's a it's a way to make
- 14:55Speaker 4: the things go.
- 14:57Speaker 2: By Gagatha. I'm gonna tell you you a story so
- 15:00Speaker 2: you get to do what I want, so we can
- 15:02Speaker 2: keep going down the road. Y'all might die, but I'm
- 15:06Speaker 2: gonna make it. And also, like I said, is this
- 15:10Speaker 2: the true death or is this part of the trials just.
- 15:14Speaker 5: People think of passing. The fact of the matter is
- 15:17Speaker 5: like how they react to them. Is that like the
- 15:22Speaker 5: lack of regard for if it is or it isn't
- 15:24Speaker 5: you know what I mean, they're not we're sitting your question,
- 15:26Speaker 5: get it because we have we want to fill away.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I'm there at the same time.
- 15:31Speaker 5: But like we're we were not there because we're not,
- 15:34Speaker 5: which is who are willing to put th people under
- 15:37Speaker 5: the bus in order to get powers?
- 15:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but also like I don't know, like, okay, as
- 15:43Speaker 2: you're questioning those two, are you questioning doing the same
- 15:47Speaker 2: question when it comes to Lilian or when it.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Comes whenever we get back to the death that that scene,
- 15:52Speaker 5: the end scene, I was like, Okay, there's some there's
- 15:56Speaker 5: some reasons why Team. I feel like Team revealed himself
- 16:00Speaker 5: in that moment. And I think that how they reacted
- 16:04Speaker 5: is part of that too, Like how they reacted to
- 16:06Speaker 5: Alice's stuff.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean they were mad about it, but also
- 16:10Speaker 2: what it was they supposed to do.
- 16:11Speaker 5: But on the road they were like when as soon
- 16:13Speaker 5: as they go on the road, Tine was like having
- 16:16Speaker 5: it out with Agatha and you know, like in the
- 16:18Speaker 5: room like they had his back.
- 16:20Speaker 4: They were all like anti Agatha for real.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Course, and then as soon as they're on the road,
- 16:26Speaker 5: Jen says whenever he's asking like this is is this
- 16:30Speaker 5: what beinga which is about, Like this is what it
- 16:31Speaker 5: all is, is power grabbing, and Jen is like, of
- 16:34Speaker 5: course any of us would do it, just completely disreg
- 16:37Speaker 5: like they just were told about Alice and now you're like, well,
- 16:40Speaker 5: any of us would have taken.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Alice's power the way I honestly I read it differently
- 16:44Speaker 2: when when when Jen said that, I read it as
- 16:48Speaker 2: as dark sarcasm and in the way of because she
- 16:51Speaker 2: as she was saying that, she was looking at Agatha,
- 16:54Speaker 2: like look at the ship y'all got us in, you Agatha,
- 16:57Speaker 2: look at this ship that you got put us in.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Look at the shit that you're putting us through. And
- 17:02Speaker 2: at this point, it's about power. That's all it must
- 17:05Speaker 2: be about. Like it's like when you're at when you've
- 17:08Speaker 2: seen people die around you Onumber one, and like everything
- 17:11Speaker 2: that told you to stay away from this woman, you
- 17:14Speaker 2: you ended up disregarding. You ended up even giving her
- 17:17Speaker 2: the slightest modicum of trust, and now to literally see
- 17:20Speaker 2: it thrown in your face. I just think it was
- 17:22Speaker 2: one of them like shit, yeah, we all finna die
- 17:25Speaker 2: type shit, like you know, all like like like almost
- 17:28Speaker 2: just like giving up to the situation. That's how I
- 17:30Speaker 2: read Jenna's attitude. I didn't read it like she was
- 17:33Speaker 2: being flippant. I was she was just like, what the
- 17:35Speaker 2: fuck else is she supposed to do? Because remember when
- 17:39Speaker 2: Wickan when he was now we could call him Wickan
- 17:42Speaker 2: and the other trial when he had the glass in him, like,
- 17:46Speaker 2: they made it a point to like you can like
- 17:49Speaker 2: like if he died, it would have they would have
- 17:50Speaker 2: felt away, right, but they wanted they did everything could
- 17:53Speaker 2: too save. I feel like the fact that if they
- 17:56Speaker 2: have a chance, they're going to do everything possible to
- 17:58Speaker 2: save the cove of somebody in the coven. They've made
- 18:00Speaker 2: that clear. And in this case, just like when they
- 18:03Speaker 2: when they pulled miss Heart out, they was like, yo,
- 18:05Speaker 2: she already did Like what else were they supposed to do?
- 18:07Speaker 4: Right?
- 18:08Speaker 2: They shit happened? She's already dead? What the fuck else
- 18:10Speaker 2: were there? They know by now episode five, they can't
- 18:12Speaker 2: get off the road. They have to complete it. So
- 18:15Speaker 2: that's why I felt like it was jen just being like,
- 18:18Speaker 2: what the funk I'm supposed to do?
- 18:19Speaker 4: Now? I can't.
- 18:20Speaker 5: But there's a level of dismissal in that, and I
- 18:23Speaker 5: think that Okay, So there's that, and then right after
- 18:26Speaker 5: she says that Lila says equally dismissively, death comes for
- 18:31Speaker 5: us all, which is facts, but also cold world.
- 18:38Speaker 4: We just lost a fellow, which.
- 18:42Speaker 2: It's also Lillian or Lydia, and she'd be saying, while shit,
- 18:46Speaker 2: So I'll just be like, well, I'm.
- 18:48Speaker 5: Saying when it comes to the teen and how he
- 18:51Speaker 5: reacts in that moment to all of that, I'm like,
- 18:57Speaker 5: if he's supposed to be because and I've said this
- 18:59Speaker 5: before where I feel like Jenna's like the moral confass
- 19:03Speaker 5: of not the Canary and the call mine like just
- 19:04Speaker 5: like spouting out, like what's about to happen?
- 19:07Speaker 4: And she said it while they were in the.
- 19:10Speaker 5: Middle, and we need to get into I guess, like
- 19:13Speaker 5: the how this all occurred, but they said, she said
- 19:17Speaker 5: whenever they were they just had the Ouiji board moment
- 19:22Speaker 5: and the answer to the thing was the punish Agatha.
- 19:27Speaker 5: And she's like, they like, we know, we know the
- 19:30Speaker 5: answer is the only real threat to us, and this trial.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Is Agatha Harkness.
- 19:37Speaker 5: And I just think there's a lot going on around
- 19:42Speaker 5: like the teen like teen slash Wiccan at the time
- 19:46Speaker 5: was like that's harsh. And it took only moments later
- 19:50Speaker 5: for him to see no, that's real. And so we
- 19:52Speaker 5: comes to the end and he's like, oh, so death
- 19:58Speaker 5: comes for us all.
- 19:59Speaker 4: And like all here for our own gain bet and then.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Goes on, yeah he realized. He's like, well, ain't no
- 20:07Speaker 2: sense of hiding anymore, right, And we also now get
- 20:12Speaker 2: the answer to why he has a sigel on him
- 20:14Speaker 2: and why he can't but do.
- 20:16Speaker 4: We do we have an answer because like what did
- 20:19Speaker 4: he put the sigil on? Who did something else? Want
- 20:21Speaker 4: us to put it on for him?
- 20:22Speaker 2: Not an answer to why or how it got there,
- 20:24Speaker 2: but the answer to well partial answer to why because
- 20:29Speaker 2: of who he is. And obviously Agatha now knows. If
- 20:33Speaker 2: she didn't know before, she she really knows now her
- 20:37Speaker 2: comment of you're just like your mother. You know, she
- 20:40Speaker 2: can't stand Wanda, okay, she hates Wanda down so anything
- 20:45Speaker 2: related like especially with Rio telling her Ao, snap out
- 20:48Speaker 2: of it, that's not your nigga, like her looking at
- 20:51Speaker 2: him and I don't. And and also Agatha again with
- 20:54Speaker 2: how contrary and she is the way she flips like
- 20:57Speaker 2: she you know, she's like but motherly to him, you know,
- 21:02Speaker 2: like and then on the one hand, she's just like
- 21:05Speaker 2: she she talks down to him so badly but then
- 21:09Speaker 2: wants him to be safe. It's just a lot of weirdness,
- 21:11Speaker 2: just like how she was just like like she taunt him,
- 21:15Speaker 2: and especially now that she knows who he is or
- 21:17Speaker 2: knows what he is, she's open. She's openly staying this
- 21:22Speaker 2: and like you know, calling him pet instead of tea.
- 21:24Speaker 2: And also you pointed this out last episode and Jen
- 21:27Speaker 2: said it out loud. She was like, oh, you're familiar, right,
- 21:31Speaker 2: and which is like a real bust down of character
- 21:34Speaker 2: because it's just like you're basically no better than a pet, right,
- 21:37Speaker 2: Like a familiar in like the witching terms is just
- 21:40Speaker 2: like a companion to the witch, right, like that helps
- 21:44Speaker 2: the wish, that's there, not necessarily in some ways a servant,
- 21:47Speaker 2: but just kind of there, right, not really having your
- 21:51Speaker 2: own agency. So for her to call him that, I
- 21:54Speaker 2: was just like, damn. And then coupled with Agatha calling
- 21:57Speaker 2: him the pet and all this other stuff, I don't know,
- 21:59Speaker 2: It's just it's very complicated her treatment of this boy, right,
- 22:05Speaker 2: And like I said, just just all ties back to
- 22:08Speaker 2: why we get some reason, some answer of why of
- 22:12Speaker 2: who he is, who his mother is, what he represents,
- 22:16Speaker 2: especially to Agatha and then also this dispels the whole
- 22:21Speaker 2: the other the other thing we were saying, like, well,
- 22:24Speaker 2: what if he is Nicholas Scrutch. If he was, he
- 22:26Speaker 2: wouldn't have been able to say his own name because
- 22:30Speaker 2: remember the schedule stopped him from saying his name before.
- 22:33Speaker 2: And the fact that he was able to freely yell
- 22:35Speaker 2: out Nicholas scratch it was like, okay, well you're not
- 22:37Speaker 2: that nigga.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Also, I mean, let's do you want to like you
- 22:41Speaker 4: want to go through to the how do you want
- 22:42Speaker 4: to do sequence?
- 22:43Speaker 2: Because just I mean we're already all out of but no,
- 22:46Speaker 2: we can literally like if you want to just go
- 22:49Speaker 2: into the trial like how they got into the house
- 22:51Speaker 2: and all that stuff, I mean, go please, by all means.
- 22:54Speaker 5: I just liked, like to go to the very beginning.
- 22:57Speaker 5: I like that the interest scene was and it was
- 23:00Speaker 5: like Ben was right kind of moment because he said
- 23:03Speaker 5: that we were going to see the Salem seven within
- 23:05Speaker 5: the road.
- 23:06Speaker 4: He didn't he didn't think that we're going to see
- 23:07Speaker 4: them at the end and.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Seeing not the main They're not like not the main thought.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Right, they're not the main antagonist, the primary antagonist. And
- 23:20Speaker 5: when the fact that all of that sequencing was like
- 23:25Speaker 5: very like.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Eerie and like, you know, creepy.
- 23:28Speaker 5: And turned out to be Lilia's premonition. And I was like,
- 23:33Speaker 5: if all of Lily's premonitions are as like eerie and
- 23:37Speaker 5: creepy and disorienting, as like this premonition and then the
- 23:41Speaker 5: one that she had in the house whenever we're doing
- 23:44Speaker 5: the trial with the potion, then not wonder a girl
- 23:47Speaker 5: be reacting the way she did whenever she sees something
- 23:49Speaker 5: like she's so junky because she's like girls, like she's
- 23:52Speaker 5: always seeing something spooky in her head.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Why do you think she just randomly yell out shit, Domino?
- 23:58Speaker 2: She just you know, just just saying shit. And because
- 24:01Speaker 2: she she is going has been going through it apparently,
- 24:04Speaker 2: and as a clairvoyant or whatever, her her power is
- 24:07Speaker 2: considered like she has to deal with that on a
- 24:11Speaker 2: minute by minute basis, apparently, like you'll be wildin too.
- 24:17Speaker 4: But she popped up and was like you had to go,
- 24:19Speaker 4: and everybody else was automatically like okay.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Yeah, but I like that. But I like that too.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I don't I like a character that's like, Nigga, we
- 24:27Speaker 2: got to get the fuck And.
- 24:29Speaker 5: She's way too seasoned and aware of how things work
- 24:33Speaker 5: for her to be like, no, let me give it
- 24:35Speaker 5: a couple of a couple of minutes to.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Figure out what it all meant.
- 24:38Speaker 2: None, get up, let's go white woman horror movie thing
- 24:43Speaker 2: where well let's go investigate what's going. No, bitch, we
- 24:46Speaker 2: have to get the fuck. I love it. I was
- 24:50Speaker 2: with it. I was like, once I have, I said,
- 24:52Speaker 2: let's pack it up, let's go.
- 24:58Speaker 5: And then them like getting like the It was so
- 25:01Speaker 5: funny seeing different scenes from the end credits come to fruition,
- 25:05Speaker 5: so them riding away in the end credits, there's like
- 25:09Speaker 5: this tandem witch bike ride, but so it's all in
- 25:13Speaker 5: one broom, but seeing them having to do a whole
- 25:15Speaker 5: little cute little broom, which.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Was cute, like I was doing cute.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I loved it. For sud I'm with you. I love it.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I was like, oh, this is fun. I want to
- 25:25Speaker 2: get a brother.
- 25:26Speaker 4: I was like, oh, you gotta be a pair. Give it.
- 25:30Speaker 4: You have to give it to somebody.
- 25:31Speaker 2: And what they call it, they called a hexa bus
- 25:33Speaker 2: hexa hex and beast hex hexas something like.
- 25:38Speaker 4: I thought it was best and I was confused. I
- 25:40Speaker 4: was like, are they summoning a creature? But it was
- 25:42Speaker 4: just the it was the brooms.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Yeah, but but the name that they called it, he
- 25:45Speaker 2: was like wicked. Was like, oh, let's do a hexa something.
- 25:48Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying. It's sounding like he said beast.
- 25:51Speaker 5: So I thought they're gonna be summon a creature.
- 25:53Speaker 4: But they didn't. So I was like what, but.
- 25:55Speaker 2: You know what, now that we're saying the word out loud,
- 25:57Speaker 2: I'm like, you dumb, dumb he said, he hex hex
- 26:01Speaker 2: hext you know who we know for living in the
- 26:03Speaker 2: hex and creating a hex.
- 26:06Speaker 5: But that's like the that's the thing. And then like okay,
- 26:09Speaker 5: so then they get make the brooms the summer.
- 26:12Speaker 4: I love it.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I wanted to be on there like Harry Pottery.
- 26:15Speaker 4: It was so funny. How I love how Lily.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Regin like, oh how ugly that fuckings. I was just like, oh,
- 26:24Speaker 2: that shit cute. She pulled that ship together like the
- 26:26Speaker 2: Mary Kay lady. I was very surprised at her arson
- 26:30Speaker 2: craft skills. You know, she did a little trip to
- 26:32Speaker 2: Michael's real quick. But I was laughing like, like, you know,
- 26:36Speaker 2: Jemen for her to be the aesthetic girl Jen and
- 26:40Speaker 2: come out with this you know, you know, ghetto rigged ship.
- 26:43Speaker 2: I was like, okay, girl, you could I was with Lily,
- 26:45Speaker 2: and you could have did better than that. But it
- 26:46Speaker 2: was funny that And that's why I like about this show.
- 26:49Speaker 2: It's just so funny, like saying like observation like that,
- 26:52Speaker 2: when like it's the least of your worries, you're being
- 26:55Speaker 2: chased by you know, these things, these dermentors, and you're like, well,
- 27:00Speaker 2: you could have given me a prettier broom like.
- 27:02Speaker 5: Girl, and all these leaves sitting around here and you
- 27:06Speaker 5: couldn't have plucked one or two.
- 27:09Speaker 2: And I love the social comics, like the pseudo social
- 27:12Speaker 2: slash political commentary from Lilian, which is again hilarious. It's
- 27:16Speaker 2: about you was like, I don't want to do brooms,
- 27:18Speaker 2: but he was like, what's your problem with brooms? She's like,
- 27:23Speaker 2: it's very tongue in cheek, very cute. And her response
- 27:27Speaker 2: of it was the holiday industrial co like, I loved it.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I loved it, And it's it's just very It's just
- 27:34Speaker 2: very interesting and fun. How the writers of the show
- 27:37Speaker 2: have integrated again just a lot of references from pop culture,
- 27:42Speaker 2: from from real life, from political and then have mixed
- 27:45Speaker 2: it in with all of the witchery and stuff like that.
- 27:48Speaker 2: It's just very very fun.
- 27:50Speaker 5: And they're really good at doing a little bit something
- 27:52Speaker 5: a little unseeriousness to all the like amazingly like dramatic
- 27:57Speaker 5: and traumatic stuff that's coming up up like within the episode.
- 28:01Speaker 5: So you're like, we're gonna start off a little bit
- 28:03Speaker 5: lighter and then oh, oh, well, we.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Knew that was gonna happen, because we every time we learn,
- 28:08Speaker 2: I mean they we taught us like two episodes ago.
- 28:10Speaker 2: They was like, oh, you cannot stay off the like,
- 28:13Speaker 2: keep foot pawn the road, keep foot pond the road,
- 28:19Speaker 2: do not deviate, and it was clear. I was just like, honestly,
- 28:23Speaker 2: as I was watching, I was like, they too happy
- 28:25Speaker 2: Day two three, it's not gonna last the moment your
- 28:29Speaker 2: ass is happy, and oh this is so exhilarating. Your
- 28:32Speaker 2: ass is coming right down from it. So I saw
- 28:34Speaker 2: that coming a mile away. Very hilarious. Again. Why she's
- 28:38Speaker 2: one of my favorite characters, real her whole evil witch,
- 28:41Speaker 2: wicked Witch of the West cackle and just how just
- 28:44Speaker 2: out of her, just how wow this girl is.
- 28:47Speaker 4: I was fucking with it.
- 28:49Speaker 5: It was I enjoyed it, and I enjoyed how they
- 28:51Speaker 5: like twisted it into what it became. I enjoyed the
- 28:53Speaker 5: fact that, uh, speaking of witches like hexes and like
- 28:57Speaker 5: throwaways whenever they got back to like on the for
- 29:02Speaker 5: the trial and they were trying to get to the
- 29:03Speaker 5: place and there was the one one Salem seven person there.
- 29:09Speaker 5: Interesting that they mentioned that, like the Salem seven were
- 29:13Speaker 5: like a hive mind kind of thing, and then that
- 29:16Speaker 5: person had bees coming out of their mouth whenever they
- 29:19Speaker 5: were trying to.
- 29:19Speaker 4: Like go through them.
- 29:20Speaker 2: And I was like, m very interesting, you know, interesting motif.
- 29:25Speaker 2: They said a few things. They said like, you know,
- 29:27Speaker 2: they're basically like a hive mind, but they also said
- 29:29Speaker 2: those are the children of the witches that Agatha killed, right.
- 29:33Speaker 5: Yeah, and then Agatha was like that this is the
- 29:35Speaker 5: lesson in like mercy and don't give mercy.
- 29:37Speaker 4: And it's like, is that the lesson Agatha? And it's
- 29:40Speaker 4: funny because I was watching.
- 29:43Speaker 5: I was watching on Disney they put out a like
- 29:46Speaker 5: it's like Disney slash National Geographic, but it's through to
- 29:48Speaker 5: Disney app They put out a documentary on witches throughout history,
- 29:54Speaker 5: and one of the episodes they mentioned, well for the
- 29:57Speaker 5: first episode it's on Salem and they said that in Salem.
- 30:02Speaker 5: The lesson that was reinforced with Salem is like, don't
- 30:06Speaker 5: listen and give heed to young girls testimony, like don't
- 30:11Speaker 5: get give them weight. That's what people took from that,
- 30:14Speaker 5: when the real lesson that should have been taken from
- 30:16Speaker 5: that is the grown adults in the situation prosecuted and
- 30:20Speaker 5: put death on accusations that they should have actually heard out.
- 30:26Speaker 5: But instead people have decided to take the tell over
- 30:30Speaker 5: time has been because of misogyny and sexism.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Don't trust the words of little girls.
- 30:38Speaker 5: And so when Agata said is like she lived through
- 30:41Speaker 5: Salem and she says that the lesson is to not
- 30:44Speaker 5: give mercy.
- 30:45Speaker 4: It's just something that they didn't give her mercy. But
- 30:48Speaker 4: that's the thing, like you sucked.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Now, let's let's let's less now.
- 30:55Speaker 4: And we don't know the whole story. We don't know
- 30:57Speaker 4: how she got.
- 30:57Speaker 2: It, We don't know the whole story. They made it
- 30:59Speaker 2: a point to show us that scene from WandaVision that
- 31:02Speaker 2: gives the backstory about where the fuck Agatha came from.
- 31:05Speaker 2: And now with this new information, alleged new information, now
- 31:08Speaker 2: that Agatha actually can't control it, it's almost like an
- 31:11Speaker 2: addiction or some type of affliction within her whatever. So
- 31:16Speaker 2: her mom was like, well, when you was born, your
- 31:18Speaker 2: ass was born evil. Okay, her mom knew when she
- 31:21Speaker 2: was one she she had the situation and rather than
- 31:24Speaker 2: though we don't know that we don't know, but let's
- 31:25Speaker 2: say it is right, but would.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Not have sucked away her mother's powers if you're born
- 31:29Speaker 4: and you're girl holding.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Not necessarily because Agatha she has to be blasted with
- 31:33Speaker 2: power she has as we saw, just kidding, No, no,
- 31:44Speaker 2: stay on the roll foot pond and roll or yeah,
- 31:49Speaker 2: foot pond road. Listen, let's just ride with it, okay,
- 31:52Speaker 2: that this lady allegedly cannot control her powers, right, and
- 31:56Speaker 2: her mom says I can't fix this or doesn't want
- 32:00Speaker 2: to fix it or doesn't care to fix it. And
- 32:02Speaker 2: it's like, well, instead of listening to the young girl,
- 32:05Speaker 2: I'm just gonna kill her. And you know, if the
- 32:09Speaker 2: tables turn, tables pond turning, and here we are, here
- 32:15Speaker 2: we are have questions, so literally everything and it's funny
- 32:18Speaker 2: that technically everything's acting this fault all along. It was
- 32:23Speaker 2: Agatha all along, come to find out, Agatha all along.
- 32:31Speaker 2: So I don't know, but yeah.
- 32:34Speaker 4: So we get to the we get to the trial.
- 32:36Speaker 4: They walk in the door like, but I guess that.
- 32:40Speaker 5: Actually says that like, oh, they can't come in here,
- 32:43Speaker 5: like these clears, they are not coming in and so
- 32:47Speaker 5: that is like interesting, like okay, story beat. And then
- 32:50Speaker 5: and I mentioned this before, teen automatically patting himself down.
- 32:55Speaker 4: It's like, I don't have.
- 32:56Speaker 5: My notebook, and I'm like, how what is this notebook?
- 33:01Speaker 5: Is it actually like a full grimoire? And he has
- 33:05Speaker 5: like like spelled it to be a small notebook, but
- 33:10Speaker 5: it's actually like a like if he were dispelled it, it
- 33:12Speaker 5: would be like a full mathm.
- 33:14Speaker 2: So he dropped the goddamn book. Is that what you're saying?
- 33:16Speaker 2: What remember first though, we thought you said it was
- 33:20Speaker 2: not a charm but basically a talisman talisman because it
- 33:23Speaker 2: came in with him, just like everybody else's like charms
- 33:27Speaker 2: and neckluis and shit came with them. So maybe it's
- 33:30Speaker 2: just a talisman. But to your point, I'm like, well,
- 33:32Speaker 2: if this is something that important, just for it to
- 33:35Speaker 2: be like, oh I dropped it?
- 33:36Speaker 5: Was he also was he lying? Like but then it
- 33:39Speaker 5: was the way that he was like dropped it. And
- 33:41Speaker 5: then and then Lily asked him where the last time
- 33:43Speaker 5: he had it, and he was like when we were
- 33:44Speaker 5: flying like, he was like, so it might be.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I mean, he is still young at the end of
- 33:50Speaker 2: the day. It could have made a mistake.
- 33:52Speaker 4: Yeah, And also I don't know.
- 33:55Speaker 5: My question is how intertwined is the Salem seven storyline
- 33:59Speaker 5: with him being part of it and being part of
- 34:02Speaker 5: the story.
- 34:03Speaker 2: All the way in some some way. Definitely real obviously, right,
- 34:07Speaker 2: but there is connection there on one jump we thought
- 34:13Speaker 2: that I thought that I don't trust.
- 34:16Speaker 5: So if it sounds like it's grimmar is falling into
- 34:20Speaker 5: the hands of someone from the seven seven is what
- 34:22Speaker 5: I think's gonna happen with that.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Oh so that seems like that's a problem. That seems
- 34:29Speaker 2: a little scary. And wait, did any of them like
- 34:32Speaker 2: touch him, like, at any point anyone actually like physically touch.
- 34:40Speaker 4: They all went through that one with the bees. I
- 34:42Speaker 4: don't know how that hmm.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, because I'm just trying to figure
- 34:46Speaker 2: out when whe that have happened. Even when they fell
- 34:50Speaker 2: or full back down to the road, they didn't, right,
- 34:52Speaker 2: that was before the bees, So they ain't touch that thing.
- 34:54Speaker 2: I don't know. But maybe that situation because they were
- 34:57Speaker 2: upside down, but they were flipped upside down. Maybe that's when.
- 34:59Speaker 5: I'm trying to think of the Like even before that,
- 35:01Speaker 5: like like when they were starting to hurdle, there was
- 35:03Speaker 5: one and they kind of like had to, Like Dodge
- 35:05Speaker 5: O got touched for sure, I don't know.
- 35:11Speaker 2: I don't know. He he lost he lost the Bible,
- 35:13Speaker 2: he lost he lost.
- 35:14Speaker 4: Not book though.
- 35:15Speaker 5: Yeah, and then uh, they're all like searching around the room.
- 35:22Speaker 5: I enjoyed, Like I was looking at their costumes every
- 35:24Speaker 5: as I do every time. It was interesting to me
- 35:27Speaker 5: that even though all these women are like full grown
- 35:30Speaker 5: adults multiple centuries old, most of them, only Lily is
- 35:35Speaker 5: the one that was dressed like an adult.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Because she's the only right, she's the mom, right, But
- 35:41Speaker 2: she's always been seen, at least for me, she's always
- 35:44Speaker 2: been seen as the mom figure out the group. She's
- 35:46Speaker 2: the one that is giving them really the guidance and
- 35:49Speaker 2: like y'all need to cut it out or get it.
- 35:52Speaker 2: She's the one she knows, right, And that's what they
- 35:54Speaker 2: kind of say of parents, right, they're the ones who
- 35:57Speaker 2: foresee things and know what's going on. Is probably the experience,
- 36:00Speaker 2: which I believe she is.
- 36:01Speaker 5: Yeah, it was that was an interesting cut for me.
- 36:04Speaker 5: And then whenever they're like sitting there all looking around
- 36:07Speaker 5: trying to figure out what the clue is fort of thing,
- 36:09Speaker 5: the Luigi words pops out. First off, I'm gonna gead
- 36:14Speaker 5: of myself. First off, they're like, whose trial is this,
- 36:21Speaker 5: and Lilia points out that it's Agatha's, not hers because
- 36:25Speaker 5: of the blood moon, and the team is like, well,
- 36:28Speaker 5: you're the premonition person. Shouldn't the blood moon be for you?
- 36:31Speaker 5: And she's like, that is a commonly home misconception. Okay,
- 36:35Speaker 5: I don't communicate through spirits. I just played that part
- 36:39Speaker 5: for my when I was trying to make money, but
- 36:42Speaker 5: actually I.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Was cappin I don't do those things that.
- 36:49Speaker 4: I'm not a spirit girly. That's Agatha.
- 36:51Speaker 5: And now we know what Agatha's power set is, which
- 36:53Speaker 5: is basically she's a medium.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Which makes sense because I'm also kind of like, go
- 37:00Speaker 2: back to the beginning of the episode about her like
- 37:05Speaker 2: that also just also her all the things we know
- 37:07Speaker 2: about her from WandaVision too, like the fact that she
- 37:11Speaker 2: seems to be followed by death anyway. I mean, you
- 37:14Speaker 2: see even in Luigi session that Death says it wants
- 37:18Speaker 2: to punish her, she kills her whole coven, her mother's
- 37:22Speaker 2: her mother and the mother's coven. She kills her own
- 37:26Speaker 2: coven when she goes on the road the first time,
- 37:28Speaker 2: if that actually ever happened, she and even when she
- 37:32Speaker 2: was still on the spell, like she was investigating deaths,
- 37:36Speaker 2: like it just seems very fitting of every situation she's
- 37:40Speaker 2: been in, do you.
- 37:41Speaker 5: Think So those are two things that came to my
- 37:43Speaker 5: mind whenever like they were saying death, because like the
- 37:46Speaker 5: answer in the show ends up being her mother's ghost
- 37:50Speaker 5: who is dead, So that's how death.
- 37:52Speaker 4: Is communicating to her in this moment.
- 37:56Speaker 5: But is there a possibility that the death that we're
- 38:00Speaker 5: getting is the death from the comics, who is actually
- 38:02Speaker 5: an embodiment like Lady Death or whatever.
- 38:05Speaker 2: That would be cool and it would it would fit
- 38:07Speaker 2: right into this whole macabre show. So dark humor show again,
- 38:13Speaker 2: so well done. I'm really enjoying. I get that all along,
- 38:16Speaker 2: but continue same.
- 38:20Speaker 4: So they go.
- 38:22Speaker 5: It's another thing that got to me was like, why
- 38:24Speaker 5: is this a slumber party set in the nineteen eighties
- 38:27Speaker 5: when if it's Agatha's trial, right, Agatha's like heyday for
- 38:32Speaker 5: a slumber party?
- 38:33Speaker 4: Was like in the sixteen hundred.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Well, you know what, I think it actually made sense
- 38:38Speaker 2: for me for her character type. And if we're and
- 38:42Speaker 2: if they're going in like order like this, I don't.
- 38:45Speaker 2: I guess the Stepford Wives first house was like the
- 38:47Speaker 2: sixties then we were in But it wasn't really.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Though, because they were dressed like in two thousands.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Clothes, right, but let's just pretend. Yeah, it would make
- 38:55Speaker 2: it so much easier. But the motif, yeh, sixties, seventies,
- 38:59Speaker 2: Now we're in the eighties. If you just want to
- 39:01Speaker 2: go in that direction that it was just in order, fine,
- 39:04Speaker 2: But even if you want to, don't want to say
- 39:06Speaker 2: it was, you know, in a decade order. I just
- 39:08Speaker 2: think it actually fits that her personality. And the reason
- 39:10Speaker 2: why is I mentioned that Agatha is a character and
- 39:15Speaker 2: Katha Hahn asked her expression of this character is one
- 39:18Speaker 2: that choose scenery, that's one that's very eighties esque and
- 39:21Speaker 2: everything she does and what I mean by that, I mean,
- 39:24Speaker 2: O d over the top, just just out there, very expressive.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Huh camp catch camp? And where at least in movies
- 39:37Speaker 2: and film of film and TV, like where do you
- 39:40Speaker 2: remember and maybe not personally, but like when you compare to,
- 39:43Speaker 2: like if you watch on YouTube, you compare to how
- 39:46Speaker 2: shit is, how them old movies were from the eighties
- 39:49Speaker 2: versus now, like you watch an action movie from the
- 39:52Speaker 2: eighties and the and it's pure camp, right, that makes
- 39:55Speaker 2: total sense with Agatha's personality, that's her. So I actually thought,
- 39:59Speaker 2: oh that made sense to me. It made a lot
- 40:02Speaker 2: of sense.
- 40:02Speaker 5: I just question because I'm like, it's funny because like
- 40:04Speaker 5: she's this is not her era?
- 40:07Speaker 2: Who ever is? These ladies are hundreds of youths.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Who's ever?
- 40:10Speaker 4: And I want to see it, And I wanted us.
- 40:13Speaker 5: I want us to go to Salem Times with Agatha
- 40:15Speaker 5: and be like, okay, girl, so you're giving some puritan.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean they're gonna have to because we're gonna
- 40:22Speaker 2: run out of decades, right, We're gonna end up. We're
- 40:24Speaker 2: gonna end up in twenty twenty five in a second, right,
- 40:27Speaker 2: and there's nine episodes, so they're gonna have to like
- 40:30Speaker 2: probably go back to like a Renaissance era, right, Louis.
- 40:34Speaker 5: I want to see Lilia like back in the like
- 40:35Speaker 5: that her era. I want to see Agatha like her
- 40:39Speaker 5: having as a revisiting flashback of like what actually Agatha's
- 40:43Speaker 5: backstory because we only have that right, so we only
- 40:49Speaker 5: had the context of like she was in the woods
- 40:54Speaker 5: on they put her on, like oh, you got to
- 40:56Speaker 5: get out of here, and then she was like, actually,
- 40:58Speaker 5: I'm the flip at all the table to take off's powers.
- 41:00Speaker 5: And that's the only context we have for her. We
- 41:02Speaker 5: don't know what her relationship with her mother was really,
- 41:06Speaker 5: we just know like that could be her mother, posts
- 41:09Speaker 5: can finding out how her daughter moves and being like, oh,
- 41:13Speaker 5: I've resigned myself to like I will never allow my
- 41:15Speaker 5: spirit to rest until I put you out of here
- 41:17Speaker 5: because you killed everybody.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Okay, you out the goddamn paint. I understand. I understand
- 41:24Speaker 2: that's why you saw on Earth. Oh that's why you're
- 41:25Speaker 2: so an apparition, because you got unfinished. I did like
- 41:30Speaker 2: with it being that eighties motif. I liked all the references.
- 41:34Speaker 2: I liked all the old school games and obviously the
- 41:38Speaker 2: way they were dressed. And I just like the stylization
- 41:43Speaker 2: of this show and it is like it is the
- 41:47Speaker 2: Daughter of Wanda vision right, and and honestly, to me,
- 41:51Speaker 2: an upgraded version of it, because it's doing a lot
- 41:54Speaker 2: of the same approaches, but in a way that's still
- 41:58Speaker 2: very true to this characters story and all of these
- 42:02Speaker 2: people and their arcs as well.
- 42:03Speaker 5: Yeah, it feels more straightforward, Like I appreciate with one
- 42:06Speaker 5: division that they're like that there was like mystery, like
- 42:10Speaker 5: why is this happening and like that you had to
- 42:13Speaker 5: like go through layers of But we're getting into that
- 42:17Speaker 5: without having to have like a sub story with like
- 42:21Speaker 5: agents like anytime I'm sorry, oh yeah, with the anytime
- 42:25Speaker 5: I haven'tything related to the like like military complex.
- 42:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't like that, a military industrial complex.
- 42:34Speaker 5: Anytime we have anybody representing any official like state sanctioned,
- 42:38Speaker 5: like official kind of like role.
- 42:41Speaker 2: I don't and end it's up being kind of corny too.
- 42:44Speaker 4: It never it never comes out something like.
- 42:48Speaker 5: You sparingly, it's okay when they can get a whole
- 42:53Speaker 5: sub story.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like it's not about I don't care about
- 42:58Speaker 2: heroes at this point.
- 42:59Speaker 4: I to get out of my story.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, not.
- 43:04Speaker 4: You on the carimbo, like you can you?
- 43:07Speaker 2: Oh no, she could go too. That's another story. I
- 43:11Speaker 2: did not like.
- 43:14Speaker 4: The Ouiji board, the Ouiji board, the rules for the
- 43:18Speaker 4: Oigi board. There's six of them. One of them is
- 43:22Speaker 4: don't use the OIGI board alone.
- 43:23Speaker 5: We see that Wickan breaks that rule at the end
- 43:28Speaker 5: of the scene. Whenever he talks Nicholas Scratch, he's the
- 43:30Speaker 5: only one who goes to the board.
- 43:31Speaker 2: You're right, damn good observation. You're right. I was to concerned.
- 43:37Speaker 2: I was like, they didn't say goodbye, but he made
- 43:39Speaker 2: a short and went on goodbye.
- 43:40Speaker 5: They said they didn't take goodbye to her mama. They
- 43:43Speaker 5: did take good bye to Nicholas Scratch.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Oh where's the mother? Because the mother was where's this
- 43:51Speaker 2: exercise out of?
- 43:53Speaker 4: Doesn't mean that she went back anywhere. It just means
- 43:55Speaker 4: that she came.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Out of Agatha m good point uh.
- 44:01Speaker 4: Two, don't speak go for each other. They immediately were like.
- 44:03Speaker 2: That it was funny that shit was right. But they
- 44:05Speaker 2: definitely did that when they were like panicking when it
- 44:07Speaker 2: was actually really.
- 44:09Speaker 4: When Agatha was like make it stop, make it stop,
- 44:11Speaker 4: and they're like, we don't know what Like that definitely happened. Three,
- 44:15Speaker 4: don't taunt the spirits.
- 44:17Speaker 5: What was Agatha doing when she did missus Hart slash
- 44:20Speaker 5: Sharon Davis.
- 44:21Speaker 4: And not Tom take a spirit?
- 44:23Speaker 2: Yeah, which was that was also funny.
- 44:25Speaker 4: I was everyone looked at her.
- 44:27Speaker 5: She was like what and they were like, don't tunt this.
- 44:32Speaker 5: And you know what, that has happened sometimes when people
- 44:34Speaker 5: were like and don't do this and they look like me.
- 44:37Speaker 2: But let's be real, we knew they was gonna break
- 44:39Speaker 2: every fucking rule as moment that they were said, we
- 44:42Speaker 2: were like, and then, what, don't take your hands off
- 44:44Speaker 2: the board and you release the spirit immediately? Don't don't
- 44:47Speaker 2: ask They don't ask about death. But I wasn't they
- 44:51Speaker 2: fault death came down and spelled it at his own name.
- 44:54Speaker 2: So how is that their fault?
- 44:57Speaker 5: It's something you're they're a lawyer, like, let me and
- 44:59Speaker 5: you it's your honor.
- 45:02Speaker 2: They wasn't. They ain't do it. I ain't seen it.
- 45:06Speaker 2: They didn't.
- 45:09Speaker 5: Five is always intersession with a goodbye, and then six
- 45:13Speaker 5: is don't remove your hand from the planchet any under
- 45:17Speaker 5: any circumstances.
- 45:18Speaker 4: Or it will lead to the release of spirit. So
- 45:22Speaker 4: here's the thing. While they did say goodbye to Nicholas, spirit,
- 45:27Speaker 4: they also had again that was the teen slash Swicken
- 45:32Speaker 4: was one person, so that already broken the rule on that.
- 45:35Speaker 4: And while speaking to.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Nicholas scratch, Oh my god, did we have to Does
- 45:40Speaker 2: it have to be one for one for everything, like
- 45:42Speaker 2: like oh Sharon passed because she actually had two potions,
- 45:47Speaker 2: she only had one sip of ansidope, or oh her
- 45:51Speaker 2: hair wasn't in it. It's like damn. It's just like
- 45:54Speaker 2: we can't even slide. Like this is funny too, because
- 45:57Speaker 2: what you're saying is funny from a Hannic standpoint, because
- 46:01Speaker 2: in a lot of reviews we always point out inconsistencies,
- 46:04Speaker 2: right like y'all said this, and it still happened or
- 46:06Speaker 2: didn't happen, and then this one is just like, oh, well,
- 46:09Speaker 2: I guess when we say goodbye we're talking to it's
- 46:14Speaker 2: a oneful one situation you got. If there's two spirits,
- 46:16Speaker 2: you got to say goodbye twice. That's annoying, though, of course,
- 46:20Speaker 2: if that's what it is, it's annoying. I thought they
- 46:26Speaker 2: just mess say goodbye, like log off when y'all log
- 46:30Speaker 2: off the computer when you're done with it type shit
- 46:32Speaker 2: like here's what you gotta lock out all your screen
- 46:34Speaker 2: aims like nah, just lock off, niggad, turn it off.
- 46:37Speaker 4: I think my logic is if we're thinking about true deaths.
- 46:40Speaker 5: And like how common book theory works in logic or whatever,
- 46:44Speaker 5: and like like how Marvel is if like common book
- 46:47Speaker 5: theory blown.
- 46:47Speaker 4: Up basically when it comes to death.
- 46:50Speaker 5: Then I'm putting that same thing, like I'm placing that
- 46:53Speaker 5: same side sort of thought into this where it's like
- 46:57Speaker 5: because one just see hearing the rules out and knowing
- 47:01Speaker 5: this is Agata's trial, It's like this is a setup
- 47:04Speaker 5: for Agatha to fail straightforward, like from the top, this
- 47:09Speaker 5: is designed for her failure. So if it's set up
- 47:13Speaker 5: for her failure, what is the outcome of her failure?
- 47:17Speaker 4: Spirits being released?
- 47:19Speaker 5: What two spirits do we hear from during this trial?
- 47:23Speaker 5: Her mother and her son? So I it's so facto.
- 47:27Speaker 5: I think those spirits are on the table and are
- 47:31Speaker 5: not gone from the story.
- 47:33Speaker 2: And maybe what you're saying is the answer that I'm
- 47:35Speaker 2: about to the question I'm about to ask. I still
- 47:36Speaker 2: don't understand how they pass a child like what like
- 47:39Speaker 2: he yelled out, Nicholas scratch, like two seconds to go
- 47:43Speaker 2: at the you know for a buzzer beat.
- 47:44Speaker 5: Fine, who but the thing didn't drop down until after
- 47:50Speaker 5: her mother possessed her, and they're like, let's leave her here,
- 47:53Speaker 5: and then Alice protected her, and then that's when the
- 47:56Speaker 5: thing fell down, right.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Uh huhm. It was after Wick and yelled out Nicholas
- 48:00Speaker 2: Scratch and Agatha stopped fucking killing Alice. After that happened,
- 48:06Speaker 2: that's when the damn thing opened up, if my memory
- 48:08Speaker 2: serves me right, either way, I thought it was whenever
- 48:11Speaker 2: they were like, let's leave, like because like they yeah,
- 48:15Speaker 2: they let's say even they like her, like.
- 48:18Speaker 4: Them leaving her was the thing?
- 48:20Speaker 5: Like that was the thing that like they like they
- 48:22Speaker 5: were like punished Agatha and then when her mom came out,
- 48:25Speaker 5: she was like, y'all shouldn't be here with her. The
- 48:27Speaker 5: thing is that y'all needs to punish her, And they're like,
- 48:29Speaker 5: how do we punish Agatha?
- 48:30Speaker 4: And she was like leave her with me?
- 48:33Speaker 2: But she didn't. She didn't get left with her because
- 48:35Speaker 2: Alice came and exercise sera. So how did they pass
- 48:40Speaker 2: the test? Like im? I wasn't and I was hum
- 48:44Speaker 2: and what's that passing?
- 48:45Speaker 4: Was that?
- 48:45Speaker 2: Like the things it must have been passing?
- 48:48Speaker 4: But is it like it was designed for? Like the failure?
- 48:52Speaker 5: So is there something else at work here that's like fine,
- 48:58Speaker 5: will take it because we need y'all to move forward
- 49:01Speaker 5: for a week for us to continue to mess with
- 49:04Speaker 5: the situation.
- 49:05Speaker 2: So you're saying the road is capping. Yes, that's what
- 49:07Speaker 2: I'm hearing you say, and that's pissing me off. Portia,
- 49:13Speaker 2: look at you smiling.
- 49:14Speaker 4: I hate this. I don't.
- 49:16Speaker 5: I don't hate anything, and I doubinely don't trust through
- 49:19Speaker 5: I don't think. I think when you see, like especially
- 49:23Speaker 5: in this trial, when you see that it's set designed
- 49:26Speaker 5: for their failure, I'm like, Oh, at this point, nothing
- 49:29Speaker 5: that happens as a trial is gonna legit be like
- 49:33Speaker 5: a straightforward like do this and this will be the
- 49:36Speaker 5: outcome of this.
- 49:36Speaker 2: But technically, isn't all of the trials designed for you
- 49:39Speaker 2: to fail? Like all of that and notice all of
- 49:42Speaker 2: each child was there's a.
- 49:44Speaker 4: Buzzer beater trial. They're challenging.
- 49:50Speaker 2: It's not like they won with flying colors. It's like
- 49:52Speaker 2: they barely scraped high and niggas either died or was
- 49:56Speaker 2: close to death at the end of each trial. So
- 49:58Speaker 2: I'm like, in essence, isn't everything designed but.
- 50:03Speaker 5: There's a challenge Like Jim's trial, it wasn't like it
- 50:08Speaker 5: that wasn't like set up for her, like oh, like
- 50:10Speaker 5: there's no way she's going to figure this out.
- 50:12Speaker 2: Oh, I see what you're saying. Everything was still within
- 50:16Speaker 2: the film of.
- 50:16Speaker 4: Being like it's a challenge.
- 50:18Speaker 5: It's a challenge to like, it's kind of like it
- 50:20Speaker 5: was to me, it was kind of like and we
- 50:22Speaker 5: I know, we'll get withzer of Ozz episodes later, but
- 50:24Speaker 5: to me, it was kind of like lizer of Oz
- 50:28Speaker 5: when the scarecrow wants to have a brain, and it's like, bro,
- 50:33Speaker 5: you already got one. Just like put your mind to
- 50:35Speaker 5: the test, Look you got it. That was kind of
- 50:37Speaker 5: what I felt like. That was what Jennifer's trial was,
- 50:40Speaker 5: And then with Alice's it was like she's running away
- 50:43Speaker 5: from a family curse, so cowardly lyon she's running away
- 50:46Speaker 5: from a family curse. She has to confront the curse
- 50:48Speaker 5: head on, and then you can confront it head on.
- 50:50Speaker 4: Oh okay, now you've like be the trial the yeah,
- 50:54Speaker 4: be the trial?
- 50:54Speaker 2: Is what has occurred? Because now that you you got
- 50:58Speaker 2: me questioning all of reality, now I feel like, Wanda,
- 51:01Speaker 2: oh my god, is what has occurred at the very
- 51:05Speaker 2: end of it is this, Like I said, I don't
- 51:06Speaker 2: understand how they passed the child you said, and you said, well,
- 51:11Speaker 2: maybe they didn't. I'm like, so are you trying to
- 51:13Speaker 2: also imply that everything we saw with Wickan and all
- 51:16Speaker 2: the stuff didn't actually happen or could be something else,
- 51:19Speaker 2: like what are you trying to say?
- 51:22Speaker 4: You off?
- 51:22Speaker 2: For sha, I feel it.
- 51:25Speaker 4: I'm fixing you off? Or is the show and it's logic.
- 51:30Speaker 2: You're questioning of what's happening, and it's making me mad.
- 51:39Speaker 5: Because like so for like for what happened at the end,
- 51:42Speaker 5: I'm gonna I already have questions because I'm like, no
- 51:46Speaker 5: matter what, and that's that's my question from the beginning
- 51:50Speaker 5: of the show. Why does Wickan want so badly for
- 51:54Speaker 5: everyone to go on the road.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Because he wants to get something really to get his
- 52:00Speaker 2: mother back. And here's the thing, is the is that
- 52:04Speaker 2: the answer? That's my answer right now. I'm sticking to
- 52:08Speaker 2: it until I'm proven wrong. And the only reason why
- 52:12Speaker 2: because I'm also now trying to pull back in common
- 52:14Speaker 2: book knowledge right about how it's a few things like
- 52:18Speaker 2: how we know that you know, if this is indeed
- 52:22Speaker 2: really happening right now, that is indeed wicking, that is
- 52:25Speaker 2: indeed Wanda's one of Swanda's son. He has been hiding
- 52:29Speaker 2: who he is purposely and not purposely this entire time,
- 52:32Speaker 2: because he did try to say his name and he couldn't.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Wanda probably put that damn sedewel in for food. The
- 52:37Speaker 2: fuck knows. And he remember that episode when who was
- 52:45Speaker 2: he bonding with? Oh, he was wonder with Alice, and
- 52:47Speaker 2: he was just like, yeah, something bad happened to me
- 52:49Speaker 2: when I was thirteen two, like he has memories of
- 52:54Speaker 2: and that could have been when, like cause you know
- 52:55Speaker 2: when him and his brother if you look at WandaVision,
- 52:57Speaker 2: I don't, I mean, there was much in my head.
- 52:59Speaker 2: They were like ten years old.
- 53:00Speaker 4: That's what I think they said they are.
- 53:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought it was a change, But then who
- 53:04Speaker 2: knows what happened in that time period. But then for
- 53:06Speaker 2: him say, yeah, when I was thirteen, something happened to
- 53:08Speaker 2: me too. In the books and.
- 53:10Speaker 4: Some says he's from this universe, who knows, he dream herself.
- 53:14Speaker 2: You're right, you're right. He could be from a different
- 53:17Speaker 2: version of different Earth Earth Earth two to five or
- 53:21Speaker 2: something like that. Yes, you're right. But the fact is
- 53:23Speaker 2: that something happened to him, right, whether it's this hex version,
- 53:28Speaker 2: him and his brother and they remember being poofed out
- 53:32Speaker 2: of existence, sent back to mephisial, whatever the fuck story
- 53:35Speaker 2: you want to believe, something happened where he lost his
- 53:38Speaker 2: way or lost his mother. And then, at least in
- 53:40Speaker 2: the comics that you know that does happen in the
- 53:42Speaker 2: multitude ways. And then when the kids are reincarnated and
- 53:47Speaker 2: they learn who they really are and who their mother is,
- 53:50Speaker 2: they are very set on helping her and saving her
- 53:54Speaker 2: and being there for her.
- 53:56Speaker 4: Right.
- 53:56Speaker 2: It takes for at least one of them. It takes
- 53:58Speaker 2: some like like Billy Billy slash slash Wicked has always
- 54:02Speaker 2: been like, oh, that's my that's my mom's right, whereas
- 54:05Speaker 2: Tommy the Speed that's his nickname, has his name in
- 54:08Speaker 2: the comics, he's very like, well, I don't know that,
- 54:11Speaker 2: lady's my people's right, And eventually he comes around the
- 54:14Speaker 2: point is they really eventually be like, that's my mom,
- 54:17Speaker 2: and if that's your mother, you're going to avenge your mother.
- 54:20Speaker 2: You're gonna do whatever is necessary for her. So I
- 54:23Speaker 2: only bring all that in to say, perhaps there's some
- 54:27Speaker 2: I don't know about vengeance, but perhaps there's some part
- 54:30Speaker 2: of him that's trying to will her back, his version
- 54:33Speaker 2: of his mom back into existence, because to your point,
- 54:35Speaker 2: he could be from a different Earth or different not
- 54:38Speaker 2: even Earth, it's just different dimension, you know.
- 54:42Speaker 5: Yeah, I feel like the other thing. And I can
- 54:44Speaker 5: appreciate that being the story. If it is the story,
- 54:47Speaker 5: I'm not saying it's it's wicking. It could be the story.
- 54:50Speaker 2: I mean he has he has similar power, said to
- 54:52Speaker 2: his mother, right, and his mom went dimensioned bodies, hopping,
- 54:57Speaker 2: swapping all that to get what she wanted. What's to
- 55:00Speaker 2: say that he's technically not doing it.
- 55:02Speaker 4: She had a dark hold on her to do that.
- 55:04Speaker 4: And then you.
- 55:04Speaker 2: Said grimlock who he got what he got? I'm just
- 55:07Speaker 2: saying a grim ware, But I don't know.
- 55:09Speaker 4: I don't know which one he likes.
- 55:12Speaker 5: But look again, my kid to figure out his story,
- 55:18Speaker 5: because whatever his story is, whenever his motives are, there's
- 55:22Speaker 5: a way that he's connected to the road that I
- 55:26Speaker 5: think is shown to us and how he sends them
- 55:30Speaker 5: through the quicksand that I'm like, he knows how to
- 55:35Speaker 5: work the road in a way that's more than just.
- 55:39Speaker 4: What a simple novice which would know about how to
- 55:42Speaker 4: work the road, which means he has to be interconnected
- 55:46Speaker 4: with the road in some way.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Probably himself as a child maybe, And it's interesting that
- 55:53Speaker 2: he sent them down into the ground literally the same
- 55:57Speaker 2: way Sharon almost got swallowed over. Remember episode one, Sharon
- 56:01Speaker 2: almost got swallowed up and sunk into the quick sland
- 56:05Speaker 2: slash grass right.
- 56:07Speaker 5: So also that's the saying. That's a lyric from the
- 56:09Speaker 5: song is down, Down, down.
- 56:11Speaker 2: The road, down literally down the road. Yeah, I can't
- 56:17Speaker 2: with them. What's the name of this episode again? Something
- 56:20Speaker 2: about darkness and that's just spreading.
- 56:23Speaker 4: Darkest hour wakes thy power, darkeye power singular to like
- 56:29Speaker 4: a Madonna like lyric from like like a prayer like
- 56:32Speaker 4: at the midnight hour, I feel your power, just like
- 56:35Speaker 4: a prayer.
- 56:36Speaker 2: That sounds very very witchy too. It sounds very much
- 56:39Speaker 2: like an incantation demon not. I understand mom, I understand
- 56:46Speaker 2: now why he was not having me none of this
- 56:48Speaker 2: bullship growing up, because it's just.
- 56:50Speaker 4: Like not you over here, No, I'm over you. I
- 56:54Speaker 4: was mind you.
- 56:56Speaker 5: I was very much like I don't like, I don't
- 56:59Speaker 5: get away with reading any thing because I read too
- 57:01Speaker 5: much for my mom to regulate me.
- 57:02Speaker 4: So I read anything I want.
- 57:05Speaker 5: I'm like, how daring? Whenever I heard people were like,
- 57:08Speaker 5: what's burn books with magic?
- 57:09Speaker 4: And then I was like, what are people they're wild.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Don't let's not. Let's not do that. They're actually doing
- 57:15Speaker 2: that in real life. We don't, we don't, we don't
- 57:17Speaker 2: need that, so please don't don't. Okay, So where are
- 57:23Speaker 2: we now? You said the ladies. They sent the ladies
- 57:25Speaker 2: down to the ground to.
- 57:27Speaker 4: Ladies, not an underground. I think so.
- 57:28Speaker 5: I think the main thing is a lot of we're
- 57:32Speaker 5: in speculationation right now.
- 57:34Speaker 2: We're like, this is wild speculation.
- 57:36Speaker 5: What is what is waking up to you? What is
- 57:39Speaker 5: Agatha actually going to do? How much are the Salem
- 57:43Speaker 5: seven interconnected with this? What is real actually like manipulating for?
- 57:49Speaker 5: What is she trying to kill like at that? Because
- 57:51Speaker 5: she seems like she wants to kill like at that,
- 57:52Speaker 5: But she also seems like she and that was the
- 57:55Speaker 5: thing was like when she was like her mother can't
- 57:57Speaker 5: have her, I'm like, there's something about the way you
- 58:00Speaker 5: would Agatha would die under her mother's visioning that.
- 58:05Speaker 4: Reo is like, I can't have that.
- 58:07Speaker 5: I need to be the one who has ownership over
- 58:10Speaker 5: Agatha's death that I can't allow.
- 58:12Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. The case, it sounds like she
- 58:14Speaker 4: cares about like oh her.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Mother, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 58:18Speaker 5: But there's always a deeper motive for Real, and I like,
- 58:20Speaker 5: and I want to bring this up because I think
- 58:22Speaker 5: this is gonna be a part of our speculation discussion
- 58:26Speaker 5: when I said that, like Reo noticeably being missing in
- 58:30Speaker 5: the scene where like Wickan reveals himself and he sends
- 58:33Speaker 5: everyone down into the ground and he and he manipulates
- 58:38Speaker 5: his power. Is he's able to manipulate Lilia Engin it's
- 58:42Speaker 5: a pushing Agatha.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Because he puts them on the mind control and.
- 58:46Speaker 5: Here he has a blue power we saw and it
- 58:48Speaker 5: looks like he has kind of like rooms like that
- 58:51Speaker 5: are like part of.
- 58:51Speaker 2: Himself, which looks like strangers.
- 58:54Speaker 4: I always love that when we see that happening.
- 59:00Speaker 5: We asked from the scene, which made me question was
- 59:02Speaker 5: she back there claim because whenever she sees Ols, there's
- 59:05Speaker 5: they linger on her looking at Alice's body, and I'm like,
- 59:09Speaker 5: that's her. She's at the claim house's body of course,
- 59:11Speaker 5: while they're out there having their whole like moment and
- 59:16Speaker 5: Teen is not paying any attention, it seems Reals and
- 59:20Speaker 5: they're claiming.
- 59:20Speaker 2: That body, and I'm trying to understand what does Real
- 59:22Speaker 2: do with these bodies? Why does she need them, Like
- 59:24Speaker 2: she's an Earth which is she's a creepy like you know,
- 59:27Speaker 2: in the ground type person, So like does she plant
- 59:31Speaker 2: them and they grow into power? Like like what is what
- 59:33Speaker 2: is these? What is this?
- 59:35Speaker 4: What is this? And bodies are like bodies are earth
- 59:39Speaker 4: like bodies just go back to.
- 59:42Speaker 2: Earth ashes that's the dust type shit. Okay, maybe what
- 59:50Speaker 2: the fuck is going on? That's what I want to know.
- 59:53Speaker 2: I'm I'm and and that's what's fun about the show too,
- 59:57Speaker 2: Like you really you mentioned it being like really a
- 59:59Speaker 2: mischi realy like a fun type mystery, very Scooby Doo.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: It's like you know what's gonna happen next, right, and
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: like this was this was actually a very exciting episode
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: for a multitude of reasons that we mentioned, and because
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: it's a big reveal situation.
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: That was my second question, why do you think the
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: reveal happened in this episode? Like we're in episode five,
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: They could have put the revealed out to like seven
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: or even like eight or nine if the right, but like,
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: what what about what happened in this episode?
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: Like what about?
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: Like is it it's like are we getting a clue
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: about his moto is being related to protection because when
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: the protection which dies whenever, he's like, Okay, I'm not
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: safe anymore.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: I need to you know what I mean? Like, what
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: are we.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: Actually getting from the overall like themes at work here
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: that are making it that they're like, we got to
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: make sure that this is the one where we reveal
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: who wicked is.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: So wait, are you trying to also see you be
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: saying shit, poor scha you like Lily, you be saying ship.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: I don't know if you know you'd be saying shit?
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Are you also trying to imply that he wasn't really
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: sad about Alice passing. It was more so that he
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: lost the protection, which like he lost a portent piece
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: of his RPG party. Like, is that what you're trying
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: to say? This is an RPG. That's another thing for
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: those who game, this is the whole Final Fantasy side quest.
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: Yeah, these are all quests.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: And the party as you will. They all got their
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: specialties and you lost the tank essentially, right, that's the pie.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: A tank slash Like, oh no, because Jenna is the healer.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: No, she's j Jenna's the healer wizard whatever, Uh, what's
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: the face? Alice was the tank because she's the one
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: that the protection, right, She's the takes the heavy hitter.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: She takes the hits right. You got your you got
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: your people. Who is melee? Right? The people who's close
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: ranged like you got different positions, Okay. And that's just
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: a tank is very important, especially when shit gets rough.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: So that's just the way you said that. I'm like,
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: what are you trying to say? He wasn't really upset
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: that Agatha killed it. He was just mad that he
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: lost an important piece.
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: And Agatha questioned him, and that's when he went on.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: She was like, are you sure that you're not like this?
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: He was singing, they not like us, They're not like us.
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: And she was like, hmmm, are you sure?
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: Oh man, you're pissing me off. You're doing you're doing
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: your big one today. I'm upset, but you're not wrong.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: You're not wrong, all right? So then what happens? What's
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: happens the next episode?
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know about no next episode
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: because was.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: There any telegraphed to what the where are we going
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: with this? I mean, besides Bilia, But she's done this
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: every episode. She yells out a tarot card when like
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: the change happens in the episode.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: I heard you talk about it earlier the Night of
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: wand the.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Night of wand yeah, I look that up. It's it
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: signifies and she says it literally when the which funny enough,
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Alice was surprised.
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: Yes, I wanted to. I didn't want to mention that.
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: I'm glad you said that, like I love. Alice was
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: very seemed very surprised by the appearance of her like
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: manifesting outside of herself, which leads me to believe that
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: that's the first time it's ever happened to her or
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: her powers manifested outwardly. And I wonder if that's going
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: to be I think, because again, why reveal this episode
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: that this is wickaned his powers came out manifested and
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: blue Agatha when she sucked it, like now we see
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: that she can her purple back out. And the Darkest Hour.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Revealed thy power wait, thy power?
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and we saw Lilia's power crackle right whenever they're
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: about to go to the road, because whenever Agatha was
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: like like come on, get me, yeah, I need it right,
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: she was doing that because I have a little was
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: it Lily or it was because it was like an
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: orangeish color, and it crackled a little. It was it
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: Lily or is it it was? It wasn't because Jen's
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: powers hasn't manifested yet.
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: Whoever it was, I don't think it was Alice, but
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: it could have been because Alice's power is like it's
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: it's kind of orange.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: Yeah, so it could have.
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: It could have been Analysis, but it crackled while whenever
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: Agatha was racking, and then Lilia was like, don't do it.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: She needs you to like blow it into her.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: All right, when she was like hit me, okay here, I.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: Remember, I'm so sad that anyway.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: R I P damn.
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: She was way too kind.
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: She was exactly the amount of kind that was like
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: if anyone's they always take you out the kindest by
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: like the craky.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: The worse you are, the longer you stay.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: No, I know. And it was making me mad because
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: she was actually becoming very useful now right, and oh
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: of course we lose her. And then yes, back to
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: what I was mentioning about Lilia yelling out tarot card,
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: she says, Knight of Wands and I looked that up
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: at means courageous, energetic, charming hero, free spirit type shit,
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: so and she just yells it out exactly when it's occurring, right,
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: which when I saw the powers come out of house
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: and she's doing her thing, I'm like, all right, cool,
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: it matches up. I don't know if it has any
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: deeper implications than that.
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: But she said identifying people whenever she recognizes them, because
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: she called whenever we were in Agatha's house and Jen
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: was sitting in front of the painting and there was
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: like a shining piece on the painting behind her, Lilia
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: called her like a priestess.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: Mmm, okay, okay, So I feel.
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: Like she's just calling out the most like who each
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: of our person's archetype is. Whenever she it's revealed to her,
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: She's like, that's what you are, that's what you are.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: That makes sense. It's very Ojo bizarre adventure because they
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: deal with tarots and calling everybody, you know, the different
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: cards and all the different just like the tough to
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: tap on like before we get out of here, all
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: the different references, the extracist obviously with the backwards and
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: all that stuff you just mentioned, the shining all kind
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: of eighties things like a little bit of et if
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: you will, you know, and then literally every eighties movie
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: where they're flying on something never in the story type
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: shit like focus focus.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: There was flying on the like the vacuum rooms. Basically yeah,
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: and I did like that.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: Like this is like especially to your's point of like, oh,
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: that's in the that's part of the Holiday industrial complex.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: It wasn't actual brooms, right, it was just the roots
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: of a tree, right, which when you bastarded it, when
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: you bastard like what they flew on right, when you
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: bastardized it the Holiday industrial compass, it becomes a broom right, like.
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: But it's like it was or it's like the og
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: like before before the like like but it's so funny
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: because she was also saying like not only holiday at
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: theustrial complex, but like but they also became a form
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: of like domestic captivity because of like women's haven't like so.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Again like get in the kitchen and clean, right cool
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: and how much.
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: Like the way that like the trials against witches were
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: like you know, not all of them were, but a
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: good amount of them were people trying to claim the
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: estates of like you know what people had accrued in
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: like wealth or whatever, like in what little it was
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: from women who they didn't.
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: They sat like made.
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: Were role models for what women should be, like very sexist, like, oh,
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: she's not acting and she's not like bowing down to
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: the like rules of our our state, our town. Like yeah,
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: what we reinforced as a church. So we're gonna make
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: sure that we can get her land because she's a
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: widow and she doesn't need all that land.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: I have a technical question for you, are, at least
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: in this world, are all witches women, like only women witches?
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: And what I mean by that is, like, I know
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: there's different terminology, like they have the masculine version, which
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: is warlock or whatever, but just in general, the idea
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: of a witch I've only seems to be feminine, like
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: is that you have to be.
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: I feel like so like another thing.
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: So again from the documentary on not Geo, a free
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: advertisement for Disney and not Geo this documentary series, they
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: mentioned that eighty percent of the witches that and it
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: was like over sixty thousand people were killed during the
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: witch trials that happened from the sixteen for the fifteen
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: hundreds and to the seventeen hundreds excuse me, and they're
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: still ongoing today. Yeah, there's in different countries they still
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: are doing witch burnings and stuff on people.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Well yep, yep, Actually that's not too far fast, yep, yep.
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: Just to like make sure that I'm like, you know,
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: covering up, like, yeah, that is it's still a thing.
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: But yeah, over sixt two thousand and eighty percent of
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: them were women, twenty percent were men and not you know,
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: for the non binary and you know, they didn't capture
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: data at the time, you know, but.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: No, they weren't going around.
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: But it's like but at the same time.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: They weren't going around with their with their clipboard.
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: Because it's how people are, like how crappy, it's like whatever,
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: anybody who is outside of like the strict restrictions of
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: what the society is supposed.
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: To be like and it all happened like Frotter documentary.
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: But it basically stands out that like the primary thing
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: that was a method of like who is going to
- 1:09:46Speaker 5: be Like, how can you tell someone's going to get
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: accused is that they are an outlier from the norm
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: of whatever the community is. And a lot of times
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: that norm was established around Christianity.
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: And patriarchy.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: Patriarchal the patriarchal interpretation of Christianity, because we know Christianity
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: actually has a lot of.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: So yeah, I'm here with you. We are here, Okay,
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: all right. Did you have any mentions besides like the
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: last song that was played Billie Eilist, right, yeah, you just.
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: See me in the Crown, which again, which that was hard.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: That went hard. I gotta say when they when they
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: panned out and you saw basically it's off it's an
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: offshoot of Wanda's Crown, but.
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: That's what it looks like in the comics, but that
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: is what the Crown looks like too.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: It's just that ship was hard with the pan bag
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: and then the song hitting that that shit went hard.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: Any other things that you wanted to say references stuff
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: that happened.
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: I think we hit everything. I just.
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: Like one like a thing for me was that I
- 1:10:58Speaker 5: felt sad for Alice, like I want to was her
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: moment like I'm going to sounds for Alice because the
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: way that she really showed up. They had had so
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: she included, but she usually was the one who was
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: a bit more reluctant, like to like be against Agatha
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: throughout this show, and as soon as Agatha's put in perils,
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: She's like I'm a step up even though I know
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: who she is, and then she's immediately shown why she
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: should have been in the same selfish place that Jen
- 1:11:26Speaker 5: sits in most of the time.
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: Was it was just so.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: It's it's it's it's giving Batman and Joker, like Batman
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: has to have a nemesis and a playmate. They like
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: they can't live without each other. They're the worst the
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: vend them means, but they cannot live without each other
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: type shit.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: So and I just it's just like she got caught
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: in a crossairs and I'm just like, I like, I
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: really hate that for you. And how yeah, so Mona
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: sends for her and I hate that, like on when
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: it came to her demise, like very little sympathy given,
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: like in the moment they were like, oh no, but
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: like them moving forward, and I just feel like she
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: deserves so much more than that.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: At least we got a Sharon Hart ment or Sharon
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: missus Hart mentioned again that was nice. Sharon Davis, Yeah,
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: Sharon Davis.
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: And the way that Agatha like tried to play her
- 1:12:15Speaker 5: like like this is this is Catherine Han's like invitation
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: of this actress pulling this like.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: She got it honestly, like as a comedy she she
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: I hope she gets nominated for this because she's really
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: showing out. She's really stretched, she stretches herself as an actor.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: And I really like this.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: I appreciate it.
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: And speaking of Agatha, I feel like the other note
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: I wanted to give was that there's something about villains
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: whose move is to still.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: Other people's powers.
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: That make them like especially kind of like menacing. It
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: reminds me of Silo from Heroes, like how he would
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: like he didn't have to carve people's heads to get
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: their powers, and then he didn't learn that until later
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: on he was like, oh well, and he just kept
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: doing it. And I feel like, like with a geta,
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: I feel like it feel like for her to say, oh,
- 1:13:06Speaker 5: I can't help it, but it's a compulsion keep doing
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: And where does compulsion come from?
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: And it feels like silent.
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: It's like why do you like theyve gotten a cycle
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: of like they just wanted it. And I'm gonna be
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: feeling a way of going forward because she zapped Alice
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: and sow her power.
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: Now she can use Alice's powers.
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: So like you can get that for protection and like
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: why would I want to trust Agatha with.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: My protection and the plot thickens, and the plot thickens,
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: but you know what's gonna have to happen. Keep by foot,
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: Pondy World, don't even try it, don't leave.
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean where are they now? Are they? Are
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: they down the road or are there somewhere else? We
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: don't know.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: We could be back in the hecks with Wanda again.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: Who the hell knows? But I'm gonna be there and watching.
