Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Broadcasting live across the world right now.
- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the John Jay and Rich radio program.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Rich, today is national what?
- 0:11Speaker 4: It is National Great American Pot Pie Day. Ooh, that
- 0:16Speaker 4: is my favorite of all the things, is a good
- 0:19Speaker 4: chicken pot pie next to a shepherd's pie. National Snack
- 0:23Speaker 4: Stick Day, basically permission to eat Slim Jim meat sticks
- 0:26Speaker 4: at 7 a.m. Created in 2016 by Clement Sausage Company.
- 0:30Speaker 4: It's also, John Jay, you and me both are big
- 0:32Speaker 4: members of this. It is Restless Leg Awareness Day.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 0:37Speaker 5: That's the most uncomfortable thing ever. I get RLS sometimes, too.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, that's a bummer.
- 0:43Speaker 6: I do not.
- 0:44Speaker 7: But sitting next to John Jay, who has it very
- 0:46Speaker 7: bad during a, what was that, eight-hour music event.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Was brutal. Because my whole chair was shaking the whole time.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I've had strangers tell me to turn around in front
- 0:57Speaker 3: at a game or a sporting event and tell me,
- 0:59Speaker 3: would you mind stopping? And I'm like, oh my God,
- 1:01Speaker 3: I'm so sorry. It's terrible.
- 1:02Speaker 4: Did you know in Chinese culture, I had an acupuncture
- 1:05Speaker 4: because I got acupuncture for my leg and I had
- 1:07Speaker 4: the restless leg moving like, and they said in Chinese culture,
- 1:10Speaker 4: that means that you're chasing money away from you. So
- 1:13Speaker 4: try to be still.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Stop it.
- 1:14Speaker 4: So there you go.
- 1:15Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:16Speaker 4: It's also go with your gut day and national apple
- 1:19Speaker 4: cider vinegar day, which gives us an excuse to discuss
- 1:22Speaker 4: the approximately 9 billion things the internet claims apple cider
- 1:25Speaker 4: vinegar fixes. And I don't know about fixing any of those.
- 1:28Speaker 4: And lastly, celebrate Bisexuality Day.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Yay!
- 1:34Speaker 6: Let's go!
- 1:34Speaker 3: All right, well, I have something to tell you guys.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Listen to this. A couple days ago, I posted this text.
- 1:42Speaker 3: My wife sent my son Dutch, right? Because my youngest
- 1:45Speaker 3: son Dutch is a sophomore at the University of Arizona,
- 1:49Speaker 3: and he's been spending money on her Venmo. She has
- 1:52Speaker 3: a Venmo. I don't have a Venmo. My wife has Venmo.
- 1:55Speaker 9: And.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Spending money, and she saw that his account was empty,
- 1:59Speaker 3: so she gave him $ 100, and in the text message,
- 2:02Speaker 3: you can see it, because it was pretty big. She's
- 2:04Speaker 3: pretty much telling him off, right? I saw Peyton made
- 2:06Speaker 3: a comment.
- 2:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I told him because she was like, no alcohol,
- 2:09Speaker 5: no weed, and I was like, well, I got you, so.
- 2:12Speaker 3: No leap the lines. That was a big one. I
- 2:14Speaker 3: keep getting messaged about what leap the lines is. Do
- 2:16Speaker 3: you know what leap the line is?
- 2:16Speaker 11: Yeah, that's just like when you pay to get to
- 2:18Speaker 11: the front of the bar.
- 2:19Speaker 5: But like, yeah, you wouldn't catch me dead doing that.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I would never do that either. I'm surprised he does that.
- 2:23Speaker 3: I would never. So the mystery continues, because let me
- 2:26Speaker 3: tell you what happened after that. The text change continues,
- 2:29Speaker 3: and there's a picture of a Venmo of $ 20 paid
- 2:34Speaker 3: to a woman named Lisa Cheese.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Lisa Cheese.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Lisa Cheese. Did you see this, Kyle?
- 2:38Speaker 6: I did.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Do you know who Lisa Cheese is?
- 2:40Speaker 6: I do not know. She's someone famous. I just thought
- 2:42Speaker 6: it was like a.
- 2:42Speaker 5: Girl at school.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Paying $ 20 to a girl at school.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Lisa Cheese.
- 2:46Speaker 5: Sounds right about the price for an eighth.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Then she goes, my brain is going, that's who his
- 2:52Speaker 3: dealer is. That's who he's buying stuff from. The next
- 2:54Speaker 3: one is somebody named Leon Gwynn. $ 10 to Leon Gwynn.
- 2:59Speaker 3: So my wife, I left here and I'm driving home.
- 3:01Speaker 3: My wife, she says to Dutch on the thread, who
- 3:04Speaker 3: is this? And he goes, I don't know who that is.
- 3:06Speaker 3: And so my wife gets up, calls me when I'm leaving.
- 3:09Speaker 3: We need to talk about Dutch. And then she's like,
- 3:11Speaker 3: who are these people he's spending money with? And I'm like,
- 3:13Speaker 3: is it, you know, was he buying some stuff illegally?
- 3:17Speaker 6: Is it his plug?
- 3:18Speaker 3: She says, do you think he's paying for sex? And
- 3:22Speaker 3: I'm like, well, first of all. I don't think he
- 3:26Speaker 3: has to pay for sex because I think he's got
- 3:28Speaker 3: a lot of... He's got a lot of swag.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Second of all, is it $ 20 to pay for sex?
- 3:33Speaker 2: He's Venmo-ing $ 20.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Maybe he had a coupon.
- 3:36Speaker 6: I was thinking, though, that sounded like a little too affordable.
- 3:40Speaker 11: Unless he's going and getting massages and he's tipping after.
- 3:43Speaker 3: For $ 20.
- 3:44Speaker 5: $ 20 tip for a little.
- 3:46Speaker 3: So now here's what I'm thinking. Now, again, I don't know.
- 3:48Speaker 3: This is just two parents, naive, having a conversation. She's
- 3:51Speaker 3: worried about our son. Yeah. So she's like, What's the
- 3:54Speaker 3: $ 20 for? What's the $ 10? And I'm thinking, and I
- 3:57Speaker 3: don't know how this works. Is it paying for the
- 3:59Speaker 3: morning after pill?
- 4:01Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 4:01Speaker 5: No, that's very expensive. That's like 50 bucks.
- 4:03Speaker 3: 50 bucks for the morning after pill? So I'm just like,
- 4:06Speaker 3: I don't know, Blake.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So I'm driving.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I'm in the car driving and she's like frantic about
- 4:11Speaker 3: Lisa Cheese. And I'm like, what kind of name is
- 4:13Speaker 3: Lisa Cheese?
- 4:14Speaker 4: Fake one.
- 4:14Speaker 3: So I'm like, so I'm Googling. I'm at a red light.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I Google Lisa Cheese. I can't find it. I go
- 4:18Speaker 3: on Instagram, Lisa Cheese. I can't find it. I'm looking
- 4:20Speaker 3: all over Lisa Cheese. So I said, Blake, I don't
- 4:22Speaker 3: have Venmo. So go to the Venmo. When did it happen?
- 4:26Speaker 3: And she's like, yesterday. Now, if you guys remember, that
- 4:29Speaker 3: day was also the day that she called 911 because
- 4:32Speaker 3: she thought there was a gas leak in the house. Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 4: So she's already fired up.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Yeah. So I go, when did it happen? She's like, yesterday.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I'm like, okay. And I'm trying to think about how
- 4:41Speaker 3: it happened. Okay, so that was going on in our life.
- 4:42Speaker 3: I don't know what Dutch was doing when the fire
- 4:44Speaker 3: department came. Well, long story short, she all of a
- 4:47Speaker 3: sudden goes, oh my God, I know who Lisa Cheese is.
- 4:50Speaker 10: Who?
- 4:52Speaker 3: I tipped her $ 20 because she gave me a pedicure. What?
- 4:57Speaker 12: Oh.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Why Lisa Cheese?
- 4:58Speaker 6: The whole time it was Blake?
- 5:00Speaker 3: It was Blake Venmoing the lady that gave her a pedicure.
- 5:04Speaker 3: And guess what? Leon Gwynn, who she gave $ 10 to,
- 5:07Speaker 3: is the guy that did her manicure.
- 5:09Speaker 13: Oh my gosh.
- 5:10Speaker 2: The whole time, Dutch just messaged me.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Dutch is like, Dad, I don't know who Lisa Cheese is.
- 5:15Speaker 3: I don't know who Lisa, and I'm like. I know
- 5:17Speaker 3: who it is now, and I'm like, you're going to
- 5:19Speaker 3: die when I tell you who Lisa Cheese is. You're
- 5:20Speaker 3: going to die.
- 5:21Speaker 5: That is so funny. Poor Dutch catching all these strays.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 5:24Speaker 3: I think your dad paid and started hashtag free Dutch.
- 5:29Speaker 3: So our whole brain went to he's dealing drugs, he's
- 5:33Speaker 3: buying drugs, he's paying for sex, he's buying the after pill,
- 5:36Speaker 3: and it was all my wife.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Doing the thing that she should be doing for you,
- 5:39Speaker 4: getting a great pedicure.
- 5:41Speaker 6: Honestly, though, a $ 20 tip on a pedicure.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Is very generous. I'm like, that must have been a
- 5:47Speaker 5: really good pedicure.
- 5:48Speaker 6: Or it was an expensive pedicure.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Also, I think you would pay, like when you pay
- 5:52Speaker 3: at the end, you just do one tip. Like she's
- 5:54Speaker 3: Venmoing them individually.
- 5:55Speaker 6: I think you tip them separately.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I didn't know, because I've gone before and I just
- 5:59Speaker 3: do the whole, you pay and you just go do
- 6:01Speaker 3: your thing. Venmoing is just, I don't know, I'm not
- 6:03Speaker 3: a Venmo person. Anyway, the thing is, so far at
- 6:06Speaker 3: this juncture, I think I got a good kid.
- 6:08Speaker 4: So far.
- 6:09Speaker 3: So far. He might have a gambling problem. That didn't
- 6:11Speaker 3: come up. That's something else.
- 6:13Speaker 2: He might be owed an apology.
- 6:15Speaker 4: I don't trust anybody with no vices.
- 6:17Speaker 3: He might be owed an apology, but he doesn't know
- 6:19Speaker 3: that Blake and I had that conversation. Blake just said,
- 6:21Speaker 3: who's this?
- 6:21Speaker 5: Just let him feel the heat for a little bit.
- 6:23Speaker 3: You know what's funny? You know how you hear those
- 6:24Speaker 3: stories about the police beating down somebody that's innocent until
- 6:27Speaker 3: they finally confess?
- 6:28Speaker 4: Sure.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Dutch at one point said that the Leon Gwynn was
- 6:32Speaker 3: the guy from the pro shop at the golf course. Like,
- 6:34Speaker 3: Dutch is like, it's the guy from the pro shop.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I must have Venmo'd it. Like, he's admitting to it,
- 6:38Speaker 3: and he has no idea.
- 6:39Speaker 6: Right, but he didn't do it.
- 6:40Speaker 3: He didn't do it.
- 6:41Speaker 6: He didn't do it.
- 6:42Speaker 3: And this is for $ 10. Imagine if you're accused of murder,
- 6:45Speaker 3: and they're just beating you down with a flashlight for
- 6:47Speaker 3: 12 hours.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Anyway. There you go. You can see it on my Instagram,
- 6:50Speaker 3: the whole story of John Jay Van S.
- 6:53Speaker 1: The next segment we're going to do is called Second
- 6:55Speaker 1: Date Update because that's what we're going to try and get,
- 6:58Speaker 1: and that's what the bit is called.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Second Date Update starts right now on John Jay and Rich.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Hey, it's time for Second Date Update. You go on
- 7:06Speaker 3: a date with someone, you think there's going to be
- 7:08Speaker 3: another date, you expect a second date, but you get ghosted.
- 7:12Speaker 3: You call us. We want to hear your story, then
- 7:14Speaker 3: we're going to call the person ghosting you. Let's say
- 7:16Speaker 3: hello to Carlos. What's up, Carlos?
- 7:17Speaker 10: Carlos.
- 7:19Speaker 14: Hey, how's it going?
- 7:20Speaker 10: Good, man.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Tell us a little bit about your situation, the date
- 7:23Speaker 3: you went on, how you met, and what happened.
- 7:26Speaker 8: Okay, like, I'm not going to lie. I'm pretty sure
- 7:29Speaker 8: I know the reason why she's ghosting me.
- 7:34Speaker 14: And it's really, like, kind of embarrassing to talk about.
- 7:37Speaker 14: I'm not going to lie.
- 7:40Speaker 8: So we were hooking up, and I farted, like, right
- 7:46Speaker 8: in the middle of hooking up.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 7:51Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 15: And if it wasn't.
- 7:54Speaker 14: Subtle or silent, it smelled really bad.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 7:59Speaker 5: Oh, gross.
- 8:00Speaker 4: What are we supposed to do with that, Abby? If
- 8:02Speaker 4: that's the reason, you can't blame her.
- 8:05Speaker 3: You can't just get the ick.
- 8:07Speaker 5: Right, because it's natural, right? Like, everyone farts.
- 8:10Speaker 6: But also, it's like.
- 8:11Speaker 2: But that's gross.
- 8:12Speaker 16: Yuck.
- 8:13Speaker 5: And it stunk.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Ugh.
- 8:15Speaker 7: But also, it's like your first time, because you're like, well,
- 8:17Speaker 7: this is what I expect now.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Did she say anything?
- 8:22Speaker 8: I mean, to be honest, we both kind of laughed
- 8:24Speaker 8: it off. So she kind of played it off like
- 8:28Speaker 8: it was okay.
- 8:29Speaker 14: But I don't know. I could tell she was grossed out.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Okay. So is that it? We just call her and say,
- 8:36Speaker 3: we know why you're ghosting him or is there more
- 8:37Speaker 3: to the story?
- 8:39Speaker 8: A little more. I mean, like, what makes it worse
- 8:42Speaker 8: is that she said I'm the first guy she slept
- 8:44Speaker 8: with in, like, years.
- 8:46Speaker 9: Oh, wow.
- 8:47Speaker 8: Apparently she's been dating girls, and she told me I
- 8:51Speaker 8: stopped dating men because men were grossing me out. And
- 8:54Speaker 8: I'm like, oh, no, that just proved her point.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure. I think you did. It turns out
- 9:01Speaker 4: she was right.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:06Speaker 8: But yeah, it was going really well before that, so
- 9:08Speaker 8: I don't know. She just disappeared since then, and I
- 9:11Speaker 8: want to get a chance to apologize.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Yeah, she liked you enough to get you in bed, so.
- 9:17Speaker 4: I mean, there's... Up until that point, it was going well.
- 9:20Speaker 5: Right, so definitely something happened, and you might be right
- 9:23Speaker 5: on it.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Help me, I just want to get the whole... I'm
- 9:26Speaker 3: seeing the movie in my head, so you start making out,
- 9:28Speaker 3: you go to the bedroom, she hasn't been with a
- 9:30Speaker 3: guy intimate in a long time, you're doing it, you
- 9:33Speaker 3: break wind... you kind of play it off a little bit.
- 9:37Speaker 3: And then what does she stay in the night and
- 9:39Speaker 3: get up in the morning and leave? Or does she
- 9:41Speaker 3: leave when you guys are done? Like, how's that whole
- 9:43Speaker 3: transition go?
- 9:44Speaker 8: Um, she did leave. Uh, but like, you know, she
- 9:50Speaker 8: didn't leave like immediately, like, Oh, I gotta get out
- 9:53Speaker 8: of here. You know, we cut off a little bit
- 9:54Speaker 8: and then she's like, all right.
- 9:56Speaker 14: I got to go. I got to get up in
- 9:57Speaker 14: the morning. And I was like, oh, that's fair. But
- 10:00Speaker 14: I was like, damn, I hope I didn't like ruin this.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Okay. So we're going to get her on the phone.
- 10:07Speaker 3: We're going to ask her why she's blowing you off. Obviously,
- 10:09Speaker 3: we think that's the reason. So when she says that,
- 10:11Speaker 3: then you want to try to get a second date
- 10:13Speaker 3: or you just want to apologize?
- 10:13Speaker 14: I want to try and get a second date. She
- 10:17Speaker 14: was really cool.
- 10:17Speaker 16: Okay.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Well, what's her name?
- 10:20Speaker 14: Amaya.
- 10:21Speaker 10: All right.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Hold on to line. Let's get Amaya's number. Let's see
- 10:24Speaker 3: if she'll go on with this real quick. Hang tight.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Second date update continues next with John Jay and Rich.
- 10:30Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich.
- 10:32Speaker 3: We are in the middle of Second Aid Update. Kind
- 10:35Speaker 3: of interesting. Carlos. Oh, sorry, Rich. You do the recap.
- 10:38Speaker 3: My bad.
- 10:39Speaker 8: My bad.
- 10:39Speaker 3: I didn't mean to step on your toes. You get
- 10:41Speaker 3: very excited for this recap.
- 10:42Speaker 2: I see you writing stuff down.
- 10:44Speaker 4: He's like, hey.
- 10:44Speaker 3: I am so sorry.
- 10:45Speaker 4: This is my line.
- 10:46Speaker 3: I am so sorry.
- 10:47Speaker 4: This is the story of Carlos and Amaya. Their first
- 10:51Speaker 4: date was going super, super great. They had dinner. They
- 10:55Speaker 4: went back to his place.
- 10:57Speaker 10: And.
- 10:58Speaker 4: They were hooking up. But during the hookup, right during
- 11:02Speaker 4: the middle of the hookup, he gassed. And it was loud.
- 11:06Speaker 4: And it had some odor to it. And it was terrible.
- 11:09Speaker 4: And she left. And he's gotten zero return texts. But
- 11:13Speaker 4: he likes her so, so, so much that he wants
- 11:17Speaker 4: to know if there's a chance for this flatulated man
- 11:22Speaker 4: to get a date with this beautiful woman.
- 11:25Speaker 3: That was a good recap. You nailed it, right, Carlos? Yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 14: I mean, that's it.
- 11:33Speaker 3: So look, I guess she already agreed to go on
- 11:34Speaker 3: there with us. She doesn't really know what we're calling
- 11:36Speaker 3: about specifically. So hang tight for a second.
- 11:38Speaker 17: Hold on.
- 11:38Speaker 3: You just stay quiet. We'll talk to her real quick.
- 11:41Speaker 10: Amaya.
- 11:43Speaker 9: Hello.
- 11:44Speaker 10: Hi.
- 11:44Speaker 3: So you're on the radio, John Jane rich radio show.
- 11:48Speaker 12: Um, I, is this a donation thing?
- 11:51Speaker 16: I'm not interested.
- 11:52Speaker 8: No, no, no, no, no.
- 11:54Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 11:54Speaker 3: You're not going to be, we're not on the list.
- 11:55Speaker 3: You're not, this isn't a, you're on the radio. We're
- 11:57Speaker 3: not asking for something like for money. We're asking to
- 12:00Speaker 3: talk to you about something, something different.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Um, Okay, this is weird.
- 12:05Speaker 10: I know.
- 12:05Speaker 3: It's really weird. It's weird for all of us. So listen,
- 12:09Speaker 3: here's the deal. On our radio show, people email us
- 12:12Speaker 3: and they tell us about situations that they're in and
- 12:14Speaker 3: they need help getting answers to. And today, we got
- 12:17Speaker 3: one from a guy named Carlos. He went on a
- 12:19Speaker 3: date with you.
- 12:19Speaker 16: Wait, about me?
- 12:21Speaker 3: About you, yeah. He went on a date with you, okay?
- 12:25Speaker 3: And he wants to see you again, but you're ignoring him.
- 12:29Speaker 3: And he asked us to find out why you are
- 12:32Speaker 3: ignoring him.
- 12:34Speaker 18: Wait, I think you've got the wrong person.
- 12:37Speaker 10: No.
- 12:38Speaker 19: Amaya?
- 12:38Speaker 3: Yes, and Carlos.
- 12:39Speaker 17: I don't know a Carlos.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Okay, well then never mind then. Huh. My bad.
- 12:44Speaker 8: Hey, do you not remember like We had a really
- 12:48Speaker 8: nice date.
- 12:51Speaker 14: We hooked up and I farted.
- 12:53Speaker 4: How could you forget that? I guess we buried the
- 12:58Speaker 4: headline there, Amaya.
- 12:59Speaker 6: We should have gotten that right away.
- 13:02Speaker 18: Okay, now I know.
- 13:06Speaker 11: Was the date that bad, Amaya, that you had to
- 13:09Speaker 11: block this out of your memory?
- 13:10Speaker 4: It wasn't... The date was fine.
- 13:14Speaker 20: It's just.
- 13:17Speaker 12: And I'm going to try to say this as.
- 13:22Speaker 22: Nicely as possible, but it's.
- 13:25Speaker 16: Him, you know.
- 13:26Speaker 22: I don't know. I just think.
- 13:28Speaker 18: He's like, what should I say? Like a cornball, you know. Because, like,
- 13:37Speaker 18: everything on the date was fine. But, like, this man has, like,
- 13:42Speaker 18: hella religious tattoos.
- 13:44Speaker 20: Like, I'm thinking, like, everything.
- 13:46Speaker 9: And, like, everywhere.
- 13:47Speaker 16: Like, crosses, Bibles, verses, God stuff, angels, whatever, right?
- 13:51Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 13:52Speaker 22: And I was, like, you know, because.
- 13:55Speaker 18: Like, earlier in the day, we were, like, talking, getting
- 13:58Speaker 18: to know each other. And, you know, we were talking about.
- 14:01Speaker 23: Our faith and everything.
- 14:03Speaker 12: What confused me was that.
- 14:05Speaker 17: He literally told me he doesn't believe in God.
- 14:08Speaker 12: And this man has like a thousand religious tattoos, you know?
- 14:13Speaker 12: So I'm like laying there, like looking at like literally
- 14:18Speaker 12: this Bible.
- 14:19Speaker 19: Verse across his body.
- 14:21Speaker 14: And I'm like, yo, what, what is going on?
- 14:24Speaker 12: And like, I asked him about one of the verses and.
- 14:28Speaker 16: Like, he didn't really know what he meant. Like he couldn't.
- 14:30Speaker 17: Tell me anything. And I'm like, I don't know, that.
- 14:34Speaker 18: Gave me the ick so bad because, like, why would
- 14:37Speaker 18: you permanently put this on your body just because, I
- 14:41Speaker 18: don't know, you thought it looked, like, deep or something?
- 14:44Speaker 21: You know what I mean?
- 14:45Speaker 3: That's weird. That's weird.
- 14:46Speaker 9: Yeah, it's weird, right?
- 14:49Speaker 8: Hold on.
- 14:50Speaker 14: I have to defend myself here.
- 14:51Speaker 9: Go.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 14:55Speaker 5: That's Carlos.
- 14:56Speaker 8: Okay, look, there's not some profound meaning behind every tattoo.
- 15:00Speaker 8: I really just thought they looked cool, like the crosses
- 15:03Speaker 8: and stuff. And my buddy was learning how to tattoo
- 15:07Speaker 8: at the time, so I let him practice.
- 15:10Speaker 12: What?
- 15:12Speaker 22: A buddy was learning how to tattoo and you were
- 15:16Speaker 22: like down for anything?
- 15:21Speaker 8: Well, I mean, you know, I figured like, hey, why not?
- 15:24Speaker 14: You know, he needs practice. Tattoos are cool.
- 15:28Speaker 4: And the Bible theme just sort of carries, I take it.
- 15:30Speaker 4: What a good friend. You know, if you're going to
- 15:32Speaker 4: start with the sleeve, you might as well keep it religious.
- 15:34Speaker 16: Right.
- 15:34Speaker 10: I know. Right.
- 15:35Speaker 5: I mean, you see a lot of the sleeves with
- 15:36Speaker 5: the heavens opening up.
- 15:37Speaker 4: That's what I was thinking.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Hey, I guess I get it. But like, that's really weird.
- 15:42Speaker 22: That's crazy.
- 15:45Speaker 4: It's a bizarre aesthetic if you were a total non-believer.
- 15:48Speaker 6: Wait, is your friend the tattoo artist? Is he, like, religious?
- 15:54Speaker 14: I mean, not, like, super religious.
- 15:55Speaker 8: He's just kind of raised around that, you know, so
- 15:58Speaker 8: it's like.
- 15:58Speaker 4: So those might not be Bible verses at all. Those
- 16:00Speaker 4: could just be, like, Linkin Park lyrics. I mean, I didn't...
- 16:05Speaker 4: And in the end, it doesn't really matter. Bible.
- 16:10Speaker 22: But, like, I'll say this.
- 16:12Speaker 18: They look pretty good for, like, a starter tattoo, so, like,
- 16:15Speaker 18: I'll give him that.
- 16:19Speaker 8: Well, they were really bad at first, actually.
- 16:24Speaker 9: No, no.
- 16:25Speaker 19: What do you mean at first?
- 16:28Speaker 14: I got them touched up later by an actual tattoo artist.
- 16:31Speaker 22: Oh, oh, my God.
- 16:33Speaker 18: No, I mean, I'm sorry.
- 16:35Speaker 19: But like, yeah, you're like actually stupid.
- 16:39Speaker 4: That's why you guys sound like you'd be good together.
- 16:41Speaker 4: You could really set him straight, Amaya. Because I can
- 16:44Speaker 4: tell you like him. That you're amused by him. You're
- 16:47Speaker 4: at least curious.
- 16:48Speaker 22: I don't know what threw me off is you're just
- 16:50Speaker 22: like down for anything.
- 16:53Speaker 16: And like you don't stop and think first.
- 16:59Speaker 5: She's like nicely dragging him.
- 17:01Speaker 4: She's become your parent.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Here's the deal.
- 17:04Speaker 3: He wants to see you again and take you on
- 17:06Speaker 3: another date. Are you down or are you not down?
- 17:09Speaker 17: I don't know.
- 17:09Speaker 5: You should do it.
- 17:10Speaker 7: Do it.
- 17:13Speaker 18: You think I should?
- 17:15Speaker 3: You're going to have stories either way. He was worried
- 17:17Speaker 3: about the fart, and it's not the fart. He didn't
- 17:19Speaker 3: bring up the tattoos. You're worried about the tattoos. You're like,
- 17:22Speaker 3: here's a guy. I'd be worried that he doesn't believe
- 17:23Speaker 3: in God. That would bother me. I'm not here to
- 17:26Speaker 3: preach my sequitur beliefs.
- 17:29Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 17:30Speaker 4: I don't know what to do. I'll give him a
- 17:33Speaker 4: second chance.
- 17:40Speaker 18: Oh, she's going to do it. If you guys are
- 17:43Speaker 18: down to set us up to go somewhere.
- 17:46Speaker 8: Yeah, sure.
- 17:47Speaker 6: She's going to go for the free dance.
- 17:48Speaker 19: Hey, if you guys are taking care of it.
- 17:54Speaker 5: I will take one from the.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Team and dance with you.
- 17:57Speaker 17: You called me.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Am I a smart guy?
- 17:59Speaker 6: She's a smart guy.
- 18:00Speaker 10: Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 18:01Speaker 3: We'll make sure we connect you guys. Hold on a second. Okay,
- 18:03Speaker 3: hold on. Very good. Thank you guys for talking. There
- 18:05Speaker 3: you go, Carlos. So it's not your toot. Not your toot.
- 18:08Speaker 3: It's your tattoo.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Is this the first one we've won in a while?
- 18:10Speaker 4: We haven't won a second date update in a minute.
- 18:12Speaker 3: It's your tattooed.
- 18:14Speaker 10: Hold on.
- 18:15Speaker 8: I mean, look, this time I promise I won't fart.
- 18:18Speaker 14: And the tattoos, just, you know, don't worry about it.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Since you don't care, why don't you get a Maya
- 18:23Speaker 3: tattooed on your chest? Say, Maya, I'm sorry. Oh, no.
- 18:27Speaker 3: That's too much.
- 18:28Speaker 8: I mean, look, you know, if it works out, maybe.
- 18:32Speaker 3: All right, hold on.
- 18:33Speaker 18: Don't get new friends.
- 18:36Speaker 3: All right, that's second aid update, you guys, with John
- 18:38Speaker 3: Jay and Rich.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Oh, cool, your scanner stopped. It's John Jay and Rich.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Okay, listen to this. Think back to the last time
- 18:46Speaker 3: you felt totally maxed out mentally, okay? Maxed out. You're
- 18:50Speaker 3: stressed out, right? Think back to the last time that
- 18:52Speaker 3: you were just, like, lost it, right? What do you do?
- 18:57Speaker 3: How do you get rid of that stress? How do
- 18:59Speaker 3: you say when your mental load is at maximum capacity—
- 19:03Speaker 3: What do you do to de-stress? What do you got, Peyton?
- 19:06Speaker 5: I call Kyle.
- 19:08Speaker 11: I call Kyle and I tell her exactly what's making
- 19:11Speaker 11: me mad. And then she just tells me it's never
- 19:13Speaker 11: that serious. And then I'm usually fine and I go
- 19:15Speaker 11: get a drink after.
- 19:18Speaker 4: That's when you see Peyton at the bar at six.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Or when I was in high school. I used to
- 19:22Speaker 5: meet my friends.
- 19:23Speaker 11: There was this spot, like, kind of in Ahwatukee, where
- 19:25Speaker 11: you would be able to oversee the city. And we'd
- 19:27Speaker 11: go up late at night, and we would park at
- 19:28Speaker 11: the top. We had to drive through this neighborhood. And
- 19:30Speaker 11: we would just scream, scream bloody murder at the top
- 19:33Speaker 11: of our lungs.
- 19:34Speaker 5: And we'd always lose our voice.
- 19:35Speaker 3: After, but it felt so good. Wait, you and how
- 19:37Speaker 3: many people would do that?
- 19:37Speaker 5: Like, maybe me or two of my friends.
- 19:39Speaker 3: You'd just scream?
- 19:39Speaker 5: Yeah, just top, top of our lungs. Like, you just
- 19:42Speaker 5: got to get it out.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Okay, what do you got, Rich?
- 19:44Speaker 4: I'm close to that. I usually sing some kind of
- 19:46Speaker 4: Disney song really loud.
- 19:47Speaker 10: Like, you know?
- 19:49Speaker 4: Like, if I'm totally... stressed and I'm completely brain maxed,
- 19:51Speaker 4: it'll be like, let's get down to business to defeat
- 19:56Speaker 4: the Huns.
- 19:57Speaker 6: So that's why you were singing Fiefel this morning.
- 19:59Speaker 4: You guys walked in, I was maxed out. I was like,
- 20:02Speaker 4: somewhere out there. Is there anything you do, Kyle.
- 20:06Speaker 3: To de-stress?
- 20:07Speaker 6: Uh, yeah, I go into my closet. I shut the door.
- 20:10Speaker 6: I sit on the ground and I put my headphones
- 20:11Speaker 6: on and listen to music.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Listen to Enya. I remember that.
- 20:14Speaker 6: Usually Enya and his very good one. No, not recently.
- 20:18Speaker 6: Thank goodness.
- 20:19Speaker 3: A hundred people gathered at the beach in San Francisco,
- 20:23Speaker 3: much like Peyton. So they could scream at the ocean.
- 20:28Speaker 3: They could think about any bad thing in their life
- 20:30Speaker 3: and just let it all out.
- 20:34Speaker 24: All came up here for today.
- 20:35Speaker 5: Really think about all.
- 20:36Speaker 4: The horrible things, every horrible thing that's ever happened to
- 20:39Speaker 4: you since you were born into this cruel, cruel world.
- 20:41Speaker 5: We're going to let it all out. 100% of your
- 20:43Speaker 5: power on three, two, one.
- 20:52Speaker 3: See, I like that because I remember one point there
- 20:55Speaker 3: was a, I had a rough period of my life,
- 20:56Speaker 3: but I think I came on the air and talked
- 20:57Speaker 3: about it. I would be at the gym and there
- 20:59Speaker 3: was a hot tub And I would go underwater in
- 21:01Speaker 3: the hot tub and scream at the top of my
- 21:03Speaker 3: lungs underwater. It was so, it was great. It felt great.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Now I just lift weights. Now I feel like I
- 21:09Speaker 3: get it out lifting weights and stuff, but I don't
- 21:11Speaker 3: like the concept of every single bad thing that's ever
- 21:13Speaker 3: happened in your life. At some point you got to
- 21:14Speaker 3: move on. I think if you're going through something right
- 21:16Speaker 3: now and you need, you let it all out.
- 21:18Speaker 6: I guess it's good that if you're holding on to
- 21:20Speaker 6: any of that stuff.
- 21:20Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 21:21Speaker 3: You're going to put Kyle to sleep now.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Here's Kyle's closet jam. I usually do.
- 21:27Speaker 6: A different Enya song, but this is good.
- 21:29Speaker 14: It's all right.
- 21:30Speaker 4: It's the one I had in the system, Kyle.
- 21:31Speaker 25: It's all right.
- 21:32Speaker 7: I'm not stressed, so.
- 21:39Speaker 4: It is pretty peaceful.
- 21:40Speaker 5: Go ahead, Peyton.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Let it out, Peyton.
- 21:44Speaker 10: Ah!
- 21:44Speaker 16: Ah!
- 21:58Speaker 4: Did they give me daughters when I asked for sons?
- 22:04Speaker 6: So much stress relief. We should all feel real loose
- 22:08Speaker 6: right now, gang.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Hey, if you want to call the radio show and scream, Phil.
- 22:12Speaker 3: feel free to call us, 877-937-1047. We'll let you de-stress
- 22:16Speaker 3: on our radio show.
- 22:17Speaker 1: We just want to hear from you, and I don't
- 22:19Speaker 1: think that's too much to ask, and it's really stressing
- 22:21Speaker 1: me out that you're not calling.
- 22:23Speaker 16: 877-937-1047.
- 22:23Speaker 2: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 22:26Speaker 1: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Misha, good morning.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Dear God.
- 22:37Speaker 10: Wow.
- 22:37Speaker 6: That's pretty good.
- 22:38Speaker 12: All right.
- 22:39Speaker 4: That had some firepower on it.
- 22:41Speaker 14: Wow.
- 22:41Speaker 10: All right.
- 22:42Speaker 3: That's how you de-stress. We appreciate.
- 22:45Speaker 12: It.
- 22:45Speaker 4: I don't know that I'd want to work in the
- 22:46Speaker 4: same cubicle room with her. That would frighten me to death. Okay, guys, but, like,
- 22:52Speaker 4: for real, what, like.
- 22:54Speaker 16: There was this one day, like, oh, my God, I
- 22:57Speaker 16: was so stressed because it was one of those days where, like,
- 23:01Speaker 16: you know where.
- 23:02Speaker 19: Everything goes wrong?
- 23:03Speaker 16: So, like, right from the beginning, like, I overslept.
- 23:08Speaker 4: I didn't, like, hear my alarm.
- 23:10Speaker 16: And then, like, I had this huge presentation at work, and, like,
- 23:14Speaker 16: I completely blanked. And then like later, like my friends
- 23:19Speaker 16: texted me because we were supposed to go on.
- 23:22Speaker 17: This like girl trip and they canceled it.
- 23:24Speaker 16: And like, I was so bummed and you know, I
- 23:28Speaker 16: was like, I'm going to explode.
- 23:30Speaker 18: I don't know what to do.
- 23:32Speaker 16: So I decided to just like try one of those,
- 23:34Speaker 16: like shake the stress out of their body videos. Like
- 23:37Speaker 16: I'd seen online.
- 23:38Speaker 17: You know, those, and like, I found like I was
- 23:43Speaker 17: at work, so like I thought one of the empty
- 23:47Speaker 17: conference rooms was like.
- 23:49Speaker 16: Good, you know, available. So I was like, cool, it'll
- 23:53Speaker 16: get to do this and.
- 23:55Speaker 26: Like just regulate my body and whatever um so I
- 24:00Speaker 26: like fully locked the door put my air pods in
- 24:04Speaker 26: and like committed I was like locked in I was
- 24:06Speaker 26: like let's do it so like my arms were flaring
- 24:10Speaker 26: and like my legs were shaking and like my whole
- 24:12Speaker 26: body was vibrating and like at one point I was
- 24:16Speaker 26: like bent over making these weird like breathing noises because
- 24:20Speaker 26: the lady on the video kept saying.
- 24:21Speaker 18: Like let it out let it out so I was like.
- 24:27Speaker 17: And then, you know, I'm not going to lie. Like
- 24:32Speaker 17: when I finished it, I like, I took my AirPods off.
- 24:36Speaker 14: I was like, Oh my God, this worked.
- 24:38Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 24:38Speaker 4: You're probably exhausted.
- 24:41Speaker 22: I felt better.
- 24:42Speaker 17: Like I let it out until like, I heard applause and.
- 24:47Speaker 16: Oh my God, my, my heart just dropped. Cause like,
- 24:50Speaker 16: it turns out like the conference room had like this,
- 24:54Speaker 16: you know, kind of, like, glass wall that turns out to, like,
- 24:57Speaker 16: be clear when the lights are on.
- 24:58Speaker 12: And, like, literally, there were, like, about eight of my coworkers.
- 25:04Speaker 20: Just, like, standing there.
- 25:05Speaker 18: And I, like, apparently, they had been watching me the
- 25:08Speaker 18: entire time.
- 25:09Speaker 4: You're like, oh, no, I got to start again.
- 25:14Speaker 3: So when you turn the lights on, you can see
- 25:16Speaker 3: through the glass?
- 25:17Speaker 18: But, hey, you know, because it kind of, like, worked.
- 25:21Speaker 16: For a second, like, honestly, I still do it every day.
- 25:24Speaker 18: But, like, now I hum with the curtains closed.
- 25:28Speaker 3: All right, Misha.
- 25:32Speaker 6: Shake that stress out.
- 25:33Speaker 3: That's a good way to de-stress. Thanks for calling in.
- 25:35Speaker 18: Hey, hey.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 25:36Speaker 18: You know, don't knock before you try.
- 25:38Speaker 10: No, no, no.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Your scream was great. Thanks for screaming this morning.
- 25:40Speaker 10: Okay.
- 25:42Speaker 26: Thank you, guys.
- 25:42Speaker 22: Clayton, good morning.
- 25:49Speaker 2: All right.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Does it feel good?
- 25:54Speaker 14: Feels pretty good. Honestly, though, usually when I'm stressed, I
- 25:59Speaker 14: power wash things.
- 26:01Speaker 7: It is actually very satisfying to power wash.
- 26:05Speaker 4: It's like crazy how much like it feels like you
- 26:09Speaker 4: were in control when you were power washing, right? Like
- 26:12Speaker 4: nothing can get past you that's dirty.
- 26:15Speaker 8: Yeah, it's just the sound, like the dirt coming out.
- 26:18Speaker 14: It's just so satisfying.
- 26:20Speaker 8: I don't care what it is, the driveway, patio, trash cans, furniture,
- 26:25Speaker 8: outdoor furniture.
- 26:27Speaker 9: I don't care if I'm stressed.
- 26:29Speaker 8: I'll just start blasting dirt off of something.
- 26:31Speaker 3: That's nice. I can see how they could take your
- 26:34Speaker 3: mind off of something. I love it. I haven't done
- 26:37Speaker 3: it in a long time. That's good, Clayton. Thanks for
- 26:38Speaker 3: calling in, man.
- 26:40Speaker 14: All right, thanks.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Good stuff. John Jay and Rich.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Have an idea for the show?
- 26:45Speaker 23: Today is your day.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Use the iHeartRadio app and talk back to us right now.
- 26:51Speaker 1: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Hey, it's time to get into our drunk dials. We
- 26:54Speaker 3: got the drunk dial line, which you can call anytime, 602-888-1933.
- 26:58Speaker 3: You can also leave us a talk back on the
- 27:00Speaker 3: talk back feature on the free iHeartRadio app. Just tap
- 27:03Speaker 3: the microphone. We put them all together. It's called the
- 27:05Speaker 3: drunk dial lounge.
- 27:07Speaker 5: For food news, you guys didn't also say about Costco.
- 27:11Speaker 4: For the, I think they're bringing back the Cheeros.
- 27:15Speaker 14: Come on, Rich.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Get your shit together.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Food News!
- 27:18Speaker 3: Food News!
- 27:20Speaker 5: John Jay and Rich.
- 27:24Speaker 6: We talked about the churro.
- 27:26Speaker 4: I did see that, but I thought.
- 27:27Speaker 6: We chatted about it already.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Churro.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Churro.
- 27:31Speaker 6: I know. I was hearing churro, though.
- 27:32Speaker 4: They say churrios.
- 27:33Speaker 7: Did you see there was a whole battle of whose
- 27:35Speaker 7: churro is better, Costco or.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Dunkin'. No, Krispy Kreme. Oh, Krispy Kreme.
- 27:39Speaker 6: Because they're doing Krispy Kreme churro donuts.
- 27:41Speaker 5: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 27:42Speaker 6: And they look amazing.
- 27:43Speaker 5: Oh, yum.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Speaking of.
- 27:45Speaker 6: I see you tried Tuesday.
- 27:46Speaker 5: I was going to say, seems like we need to
- 27:48Speaker 5: go get a snack.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Hold on a second. That was the churros at Costco, right?
- 27:51Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Okay, now call me stupid, what I'm about to say
- 27:55Speaker 3: to you, because I'm going to read a text right
- 27:56Speaker 3: now that says, because remember I went to Costco a
- 27:59Speaker 3: while ago and I was blown away by Costco.
- 28:00Speaker 9: Yes.
- 28:01Speaker 3: It says, man, if John Jay's impressed with Costco, just
- 28:04Speaker 3: wait until he finds out about Sam's Club.
- 28:07Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Sam's Club Scan and Go, Team Sam's Club. I thought
- 28:11Speaker 3: Costco and Sam's Club and Price Club were all the same,
- 28:13Speaker 3: the evolution.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Well, I don't think Price Club exists anymore. I think
- 28:16Speaker 4: it's become Sam's Club.
- 28:17Speaker 6: No, Sam's Club and Costco are like rivals.
- 28:20Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 28:20Speaker 6: They're like CVS and Walgreens.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Wait a minute. Is it Sam Walton? Is it Walmart?
- 28:25Speaker 4: It's part of the Walmart family, yeah.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Whoa.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's the buy-in bulk kind of thing.
- 28:31Speaker 7: I've never been to Sam's Club, but I hear their
- 28:33Speaker 7: hot dogs are amazing.
- 28:36Speaker 4: Sam's Club is delish. I wouldn't pick it over Costco
- 28:38Speaker 4: for much.
- 28:39Speaker 5: We have memberships to both.
- 28:41Speaker 2: You need a membership for Sam's Club, too?
- 28:42Speaker 3: Yeah, you need a membership.
- 28:43Speaker 6: It's like the same thing.
- 28:44Speaker 5: They're the same exact thing, literally.
- 28:46Speaker 4: But what's cool that they're talking about is I do this, too,
- 28:48Speaker 4: when I go to Sam's Club. You just throw your
- 28:50Speaker 4: stuff in your cart, and you scan it, and then
- 28:51Speaker 4: you just leave. You don't have to, like, check out.
- 28:52Speaker 5: Yeah, they have the, like, self-checkout, and you go.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Oh, so you're talking about scan and go.
- 28:56Speaker 6: That's pretty cool.
- 28:57Speaker 3: So I know Costco is Kirkland. What's Sam's Club?
- 29:01Speaker 5: Maker's Mark, I think.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Is that alcohol?
- 29:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:04Speaker 5: Or it's Maker something. Oh, Member's Mark, maybe.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Members only? No.
- 29:09Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 29:09Speaker 4: They sell members only?
- 29:10Speaker 11: It's something like that, but I do know that Sam's Club,
- 29:12Speaker 11: they have the Icy's.
- 29:13Speaker 5: And they're really good.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Oh, I love Icy's.
- 29:15Speaker 5: Yeah, like regular Icy's.
- 29:17Speaker 2: All right, what do we got?
- 29:18Speaker 5: Like the brand Icy?
- 29:19Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 29:19Speaker 3: We got more Drunk Dolls.
- 29:21Speaker 4: A slushie.
- 29:22Speaker 13: I just need you guys to know how seriously me
- 29:25Speaker 13: and my roommates are taking these Disneyland tickets.
- 29:28Speaker 20: We have alarms set.
- 29:30Speaker 19: We have a group chat dedicated to the magic words.
- 29:36Speaker 15: Like, this has become a full-time job, and... and honestly
- 29:40Speaker 15: all three.
- 29:41Speaker 20: Of us hate our boyfriends right.
- 29:43Speaker 15: Now so morale in the house is low and.
- 29:47Speaker 13: Like we we need to get out of here we
- 29:51Speaker 13: need to go to Disneyland eat a churro And remember
- 29:55Speaker 13: who we are. And, like, we need these tickets.
- 30:01Speaker 18: Okay, I love you.
- 30:02Speaker 13: Bye.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Wow, there's a theme going on. Both calls mentioned churros.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Yeah, we forgot about the Disney churros.
- 30:08Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 30:08Speaker 5: Those are the best. Oh, my gosh, I love that.
- 30:10Speaker 24: If I'm listening to, like, a Supergirl podcast, because we're
- 30:13Speaker 24: a podcast listener, I'm busy, okay? Anyway, I am listening
- 30:16Speaker 24: to you guys talk about the girl who expected the
- 30:18Speaker 24: guy to leave.
- 30:19Speaker 13: For the Uber for the date.
- 30:21Speaker 16: And I just have to say.
- 30:23Speaker 24: As a mother, as a wife, is it so wrong
- 30:27Speaker 24: for a woman to expect a man to anticipate her needs?
- 30:32Speaker 13: No, just asking.
- 30:35Speaker 6: I mean, that's part of the argument, right?
- 30:38Speaker 3: Well, it was the girl.
- 30:41Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 30:41Speaker 7: OK, so she was upset that her date didn't pay
- 30:45Speaker 7: for her Uber afterwards and he invited her to go
- 30:48Speaker 7: to a bar. And she thought, how rude is it
- 30:50Speaker 7: that you wouldn't think I would obviously need a ride home?
- 30:53Speaker 20: Something as basic as not even offering to get my
- 30:57Speaker 20: Uber is just the beginning. That would be a whole
- 31:01Speaker 20: other slew of problems where I would have to teach
- 31:03Speaker 20: you along the way just basic chivalry. The fact that
- 31:07Speaker 20: basic chivalry to you is the dumbest thing that you've
- 31:10Speaker 20: ever heard, huge red flag. That's a red flag factory.
- 31:16Speaker 14: Maybe that's the reason why she's so single.
- 31:17Speaker 23: She's got a very impossibly high standard, and most guys
- 31:20Speaker 23: are not going to meet her.
- 31:21Speaker 14: But, you know, good luck to you. Maybe there's one
- 31:23Speaker 14: out there.
- 31:23Speaker 20: Maybe you're still single because the bar is so low
- 31:26Speaker 20: that the world has just removed the bar.
- 31:29Speaker 4: You know, I have kids. Is it wrong for a
- 31:31Speaker 4: girl to want the guy to anticipate what her needs are?
- 31:34Speaker 7: I think every girl wants that. But then it's like
- 31:38Speaker 7: the guys are like, we're not mind readers.
- 31:40Speaker 4: That guy was.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Kind of a jerk anyway. That guy we're talking about.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Speaking of dating, so there's a girl at the gym.
- 31:47Speaker 3: She was talking. I was eavesdropping on this conversation yesterday.
- 31:50Speaker 3: So she got asked out on a date a first date,
- 31:53Speaker 3: and the guy was going to pick her up in
- 31:55Speaker 3: a Waymo. Isn't that weird? Because then you're just alone
- 31:59Speaker 3: in a Waymo first date with someone. Can you just
- 32:02Speaker 3: picture that for a second? I know you pick somebody up, whatever,
- 32:05Speaker 3: just being alone in the backseat of a Waymo.
- 32:07Speaker 6: Is that more weird than picking them up in your
- 32:09Speaker 6: own car?
- 32:09Speaker 18: I don't know.
- 32:10Speaker 6: Because you're alone in your own car.
- 32:11Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 32:12Speaker 2: I don't feel like that's weird.
- 32:13Speaker 3: I don't feel like that's weird. But it just, have
- 32:16Speaker 3: you been in a Waymo yet?
- 32:17Speaker 13: No.
- 32:17Speaker 11: Well, maybe the reason that would be weird is because
- 32:19Speaker 11: low-key in the Waymo is like they can hear you
- 32:22Speaker 11: and they can see you.
- 32:22Speaker 5: Like the people that are manning and operating.
- 32:24Speaker 6: Okay, so you're being eavesdropped on your date.
- 32:26Speaker 3: So maybe you could be, The girl that got asked
- 32:29Speaker 3: out on a date, she was like, hell no, I'm
- 32:32Speaker 3: not going to be alone with you in a Waymo.
- 32:33Speaker 3: That's what she was telling her friend. It's almost safer.
- 32:36Speaker 7: It'd be almost safer in the Waymo because they are eavesdropping.
- 32:39Speaker 7: Because if you tried any funny business, they would call.
- 32:41Speaker 6: The cops for you.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Still, I'm just telling you what she said. I didn't
- 32:43Speaker 3: participate because I was eavesdropping. If you've been on.
- 32:45Speaker 4: A first date and they picked you up in a Waymo,
- 32:47Speaker 4: we want to hear from you.
- 32:49Speaker 3: If you've been on a first date and picked up
- 32:50Speaker 3: on a Waymo?
- 32:50Speaker 4: Yeah, don't you think?
- 32:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 32:52Speaker 10: Sure.
- 32:52Speaker 15: Sure.
- 32:52Speaker 11: Sure.
- 32:54Speaker 21: I buy all my guns from a guy named T-Rex.
- 32:57Speaker 3: He's a small arms dealer.
- 32:58Speaker 6: That was probably from joke day. That was great.
- 33:03Speaker 2: All right.
- 33:04Speaker 3: So again, just leave us a talk back on the
- 33:07Speaker 3: free iHeartRadio app or call us at 602-888-1933. It's the
- 33:11Speaker 3: Drunk Dow Lounge.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Hey, dummy, if you get free roses, it's a trap.
- 33:17Speaker 2: War of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
- 33:20Speaker 2: and Rich.
- 33:20Speaker 3: It's time for War of the Roses, you guys. Somebody
- 33:23Speaker 3: thinks somebody's cheating. You want to hear the whole story.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Let's say hello to Sasha. Sasha, good morning. Who's cheating
- 33:28Speaker 3: on you? What's your story?
- 33:29Speaker 19: Morning. I need y'all's help. So my boyfriend's been hella
- 33:34Speaker 19: shady lately, being weird with his phone, taking it everywhere
- 33:39Speaker 19: with him, flipping it over when I walk by type shit,
- 33:43Speaker 19: like little things that just make me feel like, okay,
- 33:46Speaker 19: what's going on? So like the other night he fell asleep, right?
- 33:52Speaker 19: And I checked his phone. I know, whatever, judge me later.
- 33:56Speaker 19: But I didn't find anything suspicious, like no weird text,
- 34:02Speaker 19: no DMs from girls, nothing like that. So then I
- 34:05Speaker 19: was like, all right, let me see what's going on
- 34:08Speaker 19: maybe with his money. Tried to look at his bank statement,
- 34:12Speaker 19: like couldn't find anything. I couldn't even get into his account.
- 34:15Speaker 19: But when I looked at his Apple wallet, I see
- 34:19Speaker 19: that he's been sending money to this person over and
- 34:23Speaker 19: over and over again. like $ 40 here, $ 40 there, sometimes
- 34:27Speaker 19: even a little bit more. I'm like, wait, what is
- 34:31Speaker 19: going on? I called the number, like no one answered.
- 34:35Speaker 19: So I don't know who he's sending money to. I
- 34:38Speaker 19: don't know where the money's going, anything like that. But
- 34:42Speaker 19: I'm very, very suspicious. Like something's definitely going on.
- 34:47Speaker 11: Makes me wonder because it's like with those specific.
- 34:50Speaker 5: Increments of money, like John Jay, I know you for
- 34:53Speaker 5: a little bit.
- 34:53Speaker 11: We're going to get like sourdough bread and raw milk
- 34:56Speaker 11: or whatever from random people in their cars. So could
- 34:58Speaker 11: it just be like a weird like, I don't know,
- 35:04Speaker 11: maybe a small business that he's consistently going back to
- 35:07Speaker 11: that you recognize around the house?
- 35:10Speaker 19: Not to my knowledge. Like, I mean, he like gets
- 35:14Speaker 19: on prize picks and stuff from time to time, but
- 35:16Speaker 19: it would literally say from that like prize pick. You
- 35:19Speaker 19: know what I mean?
- 35:20Speaker 4: Well, yeah, you know, you don't necessarily need to see
- 35:23Speaker 4: that transaction to be suspicious. The suspicious part is all
- 35:27Speaker 4: of a sudden the phone's hidden and turned upside down.
- 35:29Speaker 4: On top of the extra. That's the shady part, right?
- 35:33Speaker 4: That's the new behavior that you think is a little
- 35:35Speaker 4: shady and that's enough.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Well, maybe it's weed, right? I mean, when I was
- 35:39Speaker 3: telling you guys that my son was doing that, Peyton's
- 35:40Speaker 3: first thing was, sounds like that's what a fourth cost
- 35:42Speaker 3: or whatever you call it, an eighth cost. How come
- 35:45Speaker 3: your first thing was sourdough bread?
- 35:46Speaker 11: Well, because obviously your son's in college, you know, realistically.
- 35:51Speaker 5: He's not buying sourdough bread.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Does your husband or, I mean, your boyfriend, could he be,
- 35:54Speaker 3: you know, buying some weed or maybe buying some, what
- 35:57Speaker 3: else do people buy for 40 bucks?
- 35:59Speaker 4: Adderall.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Oxy?
- 36:00Speaker 10: Mm-hmm.
- 36:01Speaker 4: A GLP on the fly?
- 36:02Speaker 19: I mean, not to my knowledge. I mean, that number
- 36:06Speaker 19: would have led to something is my thing.
- 36:08Speaker 20: And it led nowhere.
- 36:09Speaker 5: So did you call expecting like a woman to answer?
- 36:13Speaker 27: Absolutely.
- 36:15Speaker 7: Are there any other behaviors that would lead you to
- 36:17Speaker 7: like that this is definitely cheating?
- 36:21Speaker 19: I mean, nothing like that I can point to, but,
- 36:24Speaker 19: I mean, it's just a little off for you to
- 36:26Speaker 19: be covering your phone.
- 36:27Speaker 3: It is football season. It could be a fantasy thing.
- 36:31Speaker 3: You could be making payments on what it costs to
- 36:33Speaker 3: join the fantasy league. You never know, but we'll call
- 36:35Speaker 3: him and find out who he's going to send flowers to.
- 36:37Speaker 4: And if it's like a sugar baby, he's got a
- 36:39Speaker 4: pretty good deal because $ 40 isn't that bad for a
- 36:40Speaker 4: sugar baby. Yeah, that's pretty cheap.
- 36:42Speaker 3: What's his name, Sasha?
- 36:45Speaker 20: His name is Tristan.
- 36:46Speaker 3: All right, we're going to get Tristan on the phone.
- 36:47Speaker 3: We're going to see who he sends flowers to. War
- 36:50Speaker 3: of the Roses continues next with John Jay and Rich.
- 36:53Speaker 2: If chaos was a radio show, you're listening to it.
- 36:56Speaker 2: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 36:58Speaker 3: All right, we're in the middle of War of the Roses.
- 37:00Speaker 3: You got Sasha. She thinks her boyfriend Tristan could be
- 37:04Speaker 3: cheating on her.
- 37:05Speaker 10: Right?
- 37:05Speaker 3: So once you did the whole investigation on his phone
- 37:08Speaker 3: when he fell asleep, you found nothing. But payments, $ 40 here,
- 37:14Speaker 3: $ 40 there. You called the number. No answer. What could
- 37:18Speaker 3: it be? Am I right?
- 37:20Speaker 15: Yep.
- 37:21Speaker 19: I couldn't find anything.
- 37:22Speaker 3: All right. Kyle, you ready to go? I'm ready. Let's go.
- 37:25Speaker 10: Hello? Hello?
- 37:39Speaker 4: Hi there.
- 37:40Speaker 6: Is Tristan available?
- 37:41Speaker 24: It's Tristan.
- 37:43Speaker 4: Oh, perfect.
- 37:44Speaker 14: Hi.
- 37:44Speaker 7: So my name is Marlo. I'm with this new company.
- 37:46Speaker 7: We're called J & R Flowers. So we're trying to
- 37:48Speaker 7: hop on the social media advertising. So you've been actually
- 37:51Speaker 7: picked to be a micro-influencer for us. And you're like,
- 37:53Speaker 7: what is happening? This is really good for you, Tristan.
- 37:57Speaker 7: So what this means is you get to send our
- 37:59Speaker 7: most romantic bouquet of roses.
- 38:01Speaker 6: It's our pure passion bouquet.
- 38:02Speaker 3: So.
- 38:02Speaker 7: If you want to surprise someone special and you're like,
- 38:04Speaker 7: this is a great chance to do it, it's totally
- 38:06Speaker 7: free for you. And all we kind of ask in return,
- 38:08Speaker 7: we're not going to hunt you down or anything about it,
- 38:10Speaker 7: is that maybe you post about JNR Flowers on social
- 38:13Speaker 7: media so you can help spread the word about how
- 38:15Speaker 7: awesome we are.
- 38:16Speaker 23: That sounds good, but I don't want to give up
- 38:19Speaker 23: my credit card number or anything like that. When you
- 38:21Speaker 23: guys say free, it kind of doesn't always mean free.
- 38:24Speaker 10: Right.
- 38:24Speaker 6: I know.
- 38:25Speaker 4: I know.
- 38:25Speaker 6: And it's not free.
- 38:26Speaker 7: We do hope that you post about us, but I
- 38:27Speaker 7: will not ask you for credit card information. In fact,
- 38:30Speaker 7: the only thing I really need to know from you
- 38:32Speaker 7: is we do send the roses out. Like I said,
- 38:34Speaker 7: it's our pure passion bouquet, so super romantic on its own,
- 38:37Speaker 7: but we want you to be able to personalize it,
- 38:38Speaker 7: so we'll send it out with a nice little card,
- 38:40Speaker 7: and that's just your chance to say whatever you want
- 38:43Speaker 7: to say.
- 38:43Speaker 5: So really.
- 38:44Speaker 7: Whatever you want on that card is the only information
- 38:46Speaker 7: that I'll need to take from you. So if you
- 38:48Speaker 7: want to give me the message, then after that, we
- 38:50Speaker 7: can go like name and address and I'll actually give
- 38:52Speaker 7: you a time they'll be delivered.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Oh, man.
- 38:55Speaker 23: OK, well, yeah, yeah, I'll do it.
- 38:59Speaker 26: Perfect.
- 38:59Speaker 6: OK, so I'm ready whenever you are for that message.
- 39:03Speaker 23: Any message, I can write whatever I want on there?
- 39:05Speaker 6: Whatever you want. We've kind of, I kind of see
- 39:07Speaker 6: it all.
- 39:08Speaker 7: Some people are like fun and flirty and some people
- 39:09Speaker 7: are like, well, how was I supposed to hear that?
- 39:12Speaker 6: But it's totally fine and anonymous. You know, I'm not
- 39:14Speaker 6: going to share your info.
- 39:15Speaker 25: Okay, perfect.
- 39:16Speaker 23: I don't want to be judged here.
- 39:18Speaker 6: No judgment. No, go for it.
- 39:21Speaker 23: All right, let's put on there. Those feet deserve to
- 39:23Speaker 23: be spoiled. Keep those toes white for me and those
- 39:27Speaker 23: soles kind of filthy.
- 39:30Speaker 7: Okay those feet deserve to be spoiled keep those toes
- 39:34Speaker 7: white and the soles filthy is that right okay that's it.
- 39:40Speaker 6: No judgment here um.
- 39:42Speaker 7: So do you want like an xoxo tristan or love.
- 39:45Speaker 23: Tristan XOXO is fine.
- 39:49Speaker 3: That's good.
- 39:49Speaker 5: Okay, perfect.
- 39:50Speaker 6: And then who am I addressing this to?
- 39:55Speaker 15: Not really anyone.
- 39:56Speaker 23: Just say it's just from T.
- 39:59Speaker 19: What the f * * *, Tristan?
- 40:00Speaker 3: Excuse me?
- 40:03Speaker 23: Hello? Hello?
- 40:06Speaker 19: Yeah, are you kidding, Tristan?
- 40:11Speaker 20: Sasha?
- 40:12Speaker 14: What's going on?
- 40:15Speaker 19: Keep those souls filthy? Who are you sending flowers to?
- 40:20Speaker 23: Sasha, why?
- 40:23Speaker 9: Did you set me up just now?
- 40:27Speaker 14: Yeah, I set you up.
- 40:29Speaker 19: I called John Jay and Rich because you're acting shady
- 40:31Speaker 19: as hell, and apparently I was right.
- 40:33Speaker 4: Who is she?
- 40:34Speaker 26: Who's who?
- 40:37Speaker 19: The girl you're sending flowers to. What's her name?
- 40:40Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 40:43Speaker 23: You don't know?
- 40:44Speaker 3: You just sent.
- 40:45Speaker 19: Flowers to some random girl and wrote about her feet
- 40:47Speaker 19: and you don't know?
- 40:49Speaker 21: You're pathetic.
- 40:50Speaker 20: This is disgusting.
- 40:51Speaker 21: Seriously?
- 40:51Speaker 23: No, seriously. I don't know.
- 40:55Speaker 4: I don't know her.
- 40:56Speaker 23: Like, I don't know her. I just buy feet pics
- 40:58Speaker 23: from her. So I don't know her real name.
- 41:00Speaker 14: I don't know her.
- 41:02Speaker 17: What?
- 41:04Speaker 24: Feet pics?
- 41:04Speaker 20: Are you serious?
- 41:06Speaker 19: That's what all these $ 40 are going towards?
- 41:07Speaker 20: You're going through.
- 41:10Speaker 8: My money?
- 41:13Speaker 19: Don't don't turn this on me you're another woman to
- 41:17Speaker 19: send you pictures of her feet and you're getting to
- 41:20Speaker 19: them well.
- 41:21Speaker 3: I didn't hear him say that what's the.
- 41:23Speaker 23: Big deal though like i'm not cheating on you which
- 41:26Speaker 23: is like you know yes you are that is.
- 41:28Speaker 19: No i'm not how sending money for feet pics from
- 41:34Speaker 19: another girl that's not your girl is cheating.
- 41:37Speaker 23: Sasha, I've never met her. I don't even know her
- 41:40Speaker 23: real name. That's not cheating.
- 41:42Speaker 19: That doesn't make this situation any better.
- 41:45Speaker 4: Tristan, what's wrong with Sasha's feet?
- 41:49Speaker 9: It's just different.
- 41:50Speaker 14: That's all.
- 41:50Speaker 23: There's nothing wrong with her feet. It's just different. It's
- 41:53Speaker 23: a turn on. But like I said, it's just like
- 41:55Speaker 23: watching porn.
- 41:56Speaker 14: I'm not cheating on you.
- 41:57Speaker 23: If I'm watching porn, she sends me what I ask for,
- 42:00Speaker 23: so I pay her.
- 42:03Speaker 3: So here's what I don't understand. You know, fellow foot
- 42:05Speaker 3: fan here. In fact, I thought, you don't know who
- 42:07Speaker 3: it is. Tell me the account. What if it's Kyle?
- 42:09Speaker 3: What if it's Unfugged Feet?
- 42:11Speaker 6: I'm not getting money.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Oh, that's true. That's true. That's true.
- 42:14Speaker 6: You haven't made $ 40. Not me.
- 42:16Speaker 4: Not me.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Kyle's husband and I have collabed on talking about trying.
- 42:21Speaker 3: We make so much money. But anyway, at any rate,
- 42:25Speaker 3: I don't understand who you're trying to send the flowers to.
- 42:30Speaker 3: You said send them to nobody, but send them from T.
- 42:33Speaker 16: I know.
- 42:33Speaker 2: I was like, I'm confused.
- 42:34Speaker 7: He didn't say who he's sending them to.
- 42:36Speaker 3: It makes no sense to me who you're trying to
- 42:37Speaker 3: send them to.
- 42:37Speaker 7: It now makes sense that he doesn't actually know, but
- 42:39Speaker 7: like where were you thinking they were going to go?
- 42:41Speaker 3: And also, what?
- 42:42Speaker 2: Say that again?
- 42:43Speaker 9: Yeah, because I don't know her real name.
- 42:45Speaker 3: Okay, well then why were you sending her flowers then?
- 42:47Speaker 3: Why didn't you send flowers to your girlfriend and just
- 42:48Speaker 3: continue buying feet pictures if that's what you like to do?
- 42:51Speaker 3: No judgment there.
- 42:52Speaker 5: Maybe he thought he was going to get a fancier pose.
- 42:54Speaker 3: I just don't understand.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Something a little bit more. That part I'm so confused.
- 42:57Speaker 4: Maybe she's going to keep those soles dirtier for him.
- 42:59Speaker 3: I'm so confused on that part. And I'm a foot guy,
- 43:02Speaker 3: by the way. I'm so confused. Either way, you guys.
- 43:07Speaker 3: So there you go, Sasha.
- 43:08Speaker 4: You got the answer.
- 43:11Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 43:11Speaker 19: And it came out perfectly. You're secretly paying some random
- 43:15Speaker 19: woman every other Tuesday and requesting pictures of her.
- 43:18Speaker 4: Feet, which is cheating.
- 43:20Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 43:21Speaker 23: I think you're making this way more personal than it is.
- 43:24Speaker 23: There's no relationship.
- 43:25Speaker 3: I think you could have got away with it if
- 43:26Speaker 3: you weren't sending her flowers.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Right. You know what I mean? You'd be like, hey,
- 43:30Speaker 4: I'm a fan. And we don't know where to, well,
- 43:31Speaker 4: the flower shop doesn't know where to send those to, right?
- 43:33Speaker 4: They've got no address, no name, no nothing.
- 43:35Speaker 10: It's so weird.
- 43:36Speaker 8: Listen, guys, I don't tell you.
- 43:38Speaker 23: I was just going to take a picture of it,
- 43:39Speaker 23: let her know that these are for me and show
- 43:41Speaker 23: my appreciation. No relationship. We're not talking to each other.
- 43:45Speaker 23: I don't know.
- 43:46Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 43:46Speaker 19: And you show your appreciation by paying her forty dollars
- 43:50Speaker 19: every week. Like, what are you talking about?
- 43:53Speaker 6: Should also show your appreciation for your girlfriend.
- 43:55Speaker 5: Right.
- 43:56Speaker 11: And bottom line, like whether you think that's cheating or not, Tristan,
- 44:00Speaker 11: Sasha does.
- 44:01Speaker 5: And that's who you're supposed to be loyal to.
- 44:03Speaker 10: Right.
- 44:03Speaker 3: So you got to talk about it first. You got
- 44:04Speaker 3: to lay down the rules.
- 44:05Speaker 4: You got to communicate.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Maybe he's been buying feet pics for a long time.
- 44:08Speaker 3: Maybe not.
- 44:09Speaker 5: So this conversation needed to happen.
- 44:11Speaker 3: You guys got to talk about, you got to define
- 44:12Speaker 3: what cheating is. But the problem, I think where you
- 44:14Speaker 3: made your mistake is. I don't know. I don't even
- 44:17Speaker 3: understand the whole.
- 44:18Speaker 23: There's a lot of girls out there that wouldn't mind
- 44:20Speaker 23: this particular problem. I'm a guy who's not going out
- 44:24Speaker 23: to strip bars and cheating on you. I'm not doing
- 44:27Speaker 23: any of that.
- 44:27Speaker 6: But your girl does mind this problem.
- 44:31Speaker 19: And you don't see it as a problem, which is
- 44:33Speaker 19: the problem.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Listen, send me the accounts that you're looking at.
- 44:37Speaker 6: I wonder....
- 44:39Speaker 4: I can go over some of them.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Not helping.
- 44:43Speaker 3: Is it Honeyfeet?
- 44:44Speaker 15: Stop.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Are you sending the honey feet?
- 44:45Speaker 5: Is that one your favorite?
- 44:46Speaker 3: No, I'm just trying. There's a ton. I just read
- 44:50Speaker 3: this whole article, you guys, on how amazing it is
- 44:53Speaker 3: that you can sell and how there's an audience for that.
- 44:56Speaker 3: And it's all about marketing and economics. It's pretty interesting.
- 45:00Speaker 3: how people are making tons of money selling few pictures,
- 45:02Speaker 3: tons of money. I'm telling you. Meanwhile, the number one
- 45:07Speaker 3: foot model in the country is this one over here.
- 45:09Speaker 17: Reluctantly reluctant foot model.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Anyway, there you go. Sasha, Tristan, good luck to you.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Thanks for jumping on the air with us.
- 45:20Speaker 19: Yeah, good luck to you, Tristan, finding a new girl.
- 45:24Speaker 3: This segment was brought to you by Unfugged Feet on Instagram.
- 45:28Speaker 3: Check it all out, Unfugged Feet. All right, that's War
- 45:30Speaker 3: of the Roses with John Jane Rich. I'm so glad
- 45:33Speaker 3: you're here.
- 45:34Speaker 1: As the person who currently occupies your attention, I would
- 45:37Speaker 1: like to thank you for listening to John Jane Rich.
- 45:40Speaker 3: We've got tickets to Kanye right now. Jacob, you're our contestant.
- 45:43Speaker 3: How are you?
- 45:43Speaker 23: Hello, I'm great, and you?
- 45:45Speaker 3: Great, Jacob. You are playing noise machine for Kanye tickets.
- 45:48Speaker 14: Uh-oh, let's go.
- 45:50Speaker 12: I'm ready, I'm ready.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Uh-oh, let's go is exactly how we hoped you would react.
- 45:55Speaker 2: So we are playing for Kanye West tickets. Good news, guys.
- 45:58Speaker 2: We're playing Kanye West feuds.
- 46:02Speaker 1: I had to narrow it down from like 600 to
- 46:04Speaker 1: the 10 that I find the most hilarious.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Wow, okay.
- 46:08Speaker 1: So you have to guess who either Kanye West is
- 46:10Speaker 1: talking about or who's talking about Kanye West, all right?
- 46:14Speaker 2: Let's start.
- 46:15Speaker 3: With John Jay.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Kanye, I know you're like, yo, this is the real me.
- 46:19Speaker 2: I'm off the meds.
- 46:23Speaker 10: Take them.
- 46:26Speaker 3: That's a Pete What's-His-Face from Saturday Night Live.
- 46:29Speaker 4: Pete.
- 46:30Speaker 3: What's his name? Pete.
- 46:31Speaker 10: Pete.
- 46:32Speaker 3: Hegseth.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Pete Hegseth.
- 46:34Speaker 11: What?
- 46:35Speaker 3: Pete and the Magic Dragon.
- 46:38Speaker 6: Probably just say Skeet.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Pete. What is his name? Pete Norris. Oh, my.
- 46:44Speaker 2: I know. Covered in tattoos.
- 46:45Speaker 10: Yeah. Pete. Pete.
- 46:46Speaker 4: Game's hard.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Pete. Peter.
- 46:49Speaker 6: Big smile.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I know Zach got his face. Or Peter. Pumpkin eater.
- 46:55Speaker 2: You know what? I guess I can give you a
- 46:56Speaker 2: half a point.
- 46:59Speaker 3: Oh, Pete Davidson.
- 47:01Speaker 11: Jacob was coming in trying to steal it.
- 47:04Speaker 3: Take it.
- 47:06Speaker 2: But yeah, one half point for John Jay in round one.
- 47:09Speaker 14: Rich.
- 47:09Speaker 1: He played one of my leaked songs and it was
- 47:11Speaker 1: better than every other song this year.
- 47:14Speaker 2: So who's Kanye talking about there?
- 47:16Speaker 4: He played one of my Leet songs, and it was
- 47:19Speaker 4: better than any other song this year. He played, so
- 47:22Speaker 4: he's got to be talking about a DJ, right?
- 47:24Speaker 2: Very famous feud.
- 47:26Speaker 4: Ryan Seacrest.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest, okay. Not Ryan Seacrest.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Anybody?
- 47:31Speaker 5: Anybody?
- 47:33Speaker 3: Drake.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Drake is correct. Yeah, good job, John.
- 47:37Speaker 14: Drake?
- 47:39Speaker 2: Yes way, Jacob.
- 47:40Speaker 9: Yes way.
- 47:41Speaker 4: They're basically the same, Seacrest and Drake. All right.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Peyton, this is from Kanye's song Power. Who is he
- 47:47Speaker 2: talking about? Jay-Z.
- 47:59Speaker 4: Jay-Z?
- 48:00Speaker 3: Okay.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Nope, that's not right.
- 48:01Speaker 3: Anybody, anybody, anybody? Lior Cohen.
- 48:04Speaker 2: He's talking about a cast. A cast.
- 48:07Speaker 3: A cast of a TV show?
- 48:08Speaker 5: Like an actual physical cast?
- 48:10Speaker 2: SNL. The whole cast can kiss my hole.
- 48:14Speaker 1: No points for Peyton, it's all right. John Jay commanding
- 48:18Speaker 1: lead right now with a half point.
- 48:21Speaker 2: Kyle? Okay.
- 48:30Speaker 15: Tough.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Who's that? He's referencing Kanye West.
- 48:33Speaker 6: Okay, because weird, that sounded like Justin Timberlake, so that's
- 48:36Speaker 6: what I'm going to say.
- 48:37Speaker 5: I didn't know they viewed it, if it is.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Is, in fact, correct. They did view it.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Kanye took exception for Justin, including Jay-Z, on the 2020
- 48:47Speaker 1: experience record.
- 48:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Well, then I'll take the point. So he was not happy,
- 48:51Speaker 2: and then he got all mad, and then Justin responded anyway.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Good job, Kyle.
- 48:54Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 48:54Speaker 10: One point.
- 48:56Speaker 2: Jacob.
- 48:57Speaker 3: The hardest feeling to watch someone you really loved and
- 49:01Speaker 3: you have a family with just be so different than
- 49:05Speaker 3: who you knew.
- 49:07Speaker 12: That is Kim K.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Kim K.
- 49:09Speaker 3: That's right.
- 49:10Speaker 6: Good job, Jacob.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Also known as Kim Kardashian. One point for Jacob. And
- 49:14Speaker 2: we'll go into round two now. John Jay.
- 49:17Speaker 28: The Weeknd.
- 49:24Speaker 3: The Weeknd? Is that his beef with The Weeknd?
- 49:27Speaker 2: It's his beef with not The Weeknd.
- 49:30Speaker 6: I'm surprised.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Well, I just listened to the song. It sounded like
- 49:34Speaker 3: he was covering The Weeknd. You're going to hear it again?
- 49:36Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 49:36Speaker 3: I'll listen to the words then for the clue?
- 49:38Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 49:38Speaker 21: Oh, yeah.
- 49:39Speaker 28: I wanted to be free with other creatures like me,
- 49:41Speaker 28: and now I got my wish, because I know that
- 49:44Speaker 28: I'm a gay fish.
- 49:47Speaker 3: Gay fish. Kanye's beef with a gay fish. Nemo?
- 49:53Speaker 2: Go with Nemo, okay?
- 49:55Speaker 3: Is it Ray J?
- 49:56Speaker 1: I'll give you a half point. That's when he feuded
- 49:59Speaker 1: with South Park.
- 50:00Speaker 3: Oh.
- 50:00Speaker 2: That's the whole episode. Oh, that's exactly right.
- 50:05Speaker 5: Silly.
- 50:06Speaker 2: It was silly.
- 50:07Speaker 24: All right.
- 50:07Speaker 2: So, John, another half point there.
- 50:09Speaker 4: Rich.
- 50:10Speaker 25: He's very angry because of a bit we aired this week.
- 50:13Speaker 25: He gave an interview to the BBC and we had
- 50:15Speaker 25: a kid actor take the words and reenact it. We
- 50:18Speaker 25: just had the kids say the stuff Kanye said.
- 50:21Speaker 4: I remember that. That's Jimmy Kimmel.
- 50:22Speaker 3: Jimmy Kimmel.
- 50:23Speaker 10: All right.
- 50:23Speaker 2: One point for Rich. Peyton.
- 50:25Speaker 3: I resent it.
- 50:27Speaker 19: It's not true.
- 50:27Speaker 6: And it was one of the most disgusting moments of
- 50:30Speaker 6: my presidency.
- 50:32Speaker 5: Oh, of my presidency. Oh, who is that? That is...
- 50:38Speaker 5: Steal it.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Go ahead, Jacob.
- 50:40Speaker 9: Is that George Bush?
- 50:42Speaker 2: George W.
- 50:43Speaker 13: Bush.
- 50:43Speaker 1: I would have never gotten that. When Kanye said that
- 50:46Speaker 1: George Bush doesn't care about black people.
- 50:47Speaker 2: All right. So Jacob, take a commanding lead, two points.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Kyle can tie it up.
- 50:53Speaker 8: You know, hopefully when we're 89, we look at this
- 50:56Speaker 8: six months or whatever time and we laugh at that.
- 51:00Speaker 6: That's Jay-Z.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Yeah, Jay-Z, Hova. That's correct. Jacob, if you can get
- 51:05Speaker 2: this one, you're going to go see Kanye live. I'm
- 51:07Speaker 2: going to let you finish.
- 51:08Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 51:08Speaker 8: But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.
- 51:12Speaker 9: Taylor Swift.
- 51:13Speaker 2: Taylor Swift. That's right.
- 51:15Speaker 3: Way to go.
- 51:17Speaker 2: You're going to see Kanye.
- 51:18Speaker 3: Congratulations. Are you whistling? Are you whistling?
- 51:25Speaker 25: Let's go.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 51:26Speaker 10: Hold on. Hold on.
- 51:27Speaker 3: All right.
- 51:28Speaker 2: You come for the John Jay and Rich, but let's
- 51:31Speaker 2: be honest. You stay for Kyle and Peyton. It's John
- 51:35Speaker 2: Jay and Rich.
- 51:37Speaker 3: I feel so alive. Cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching-a-ray. Money, oh, money, oh,
- 51:45Speaker 3: I love thee.
- 51:46Speaker 2: Cha-ching, cha-chong, cha-chang-a-roo. From pennies to dollars, any amount will do.
- 51:52Speaker 5: Cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching-a-ray.
- 51:57Speaker 11: So basically, people aren't asking for zodiac signs anymore when
- 51:59Speaker 11: you're going on a first date. We're asking for credit scores.
- 52:02Speaker 11: So apparently, this survey of Gen Z and millennial daters,
- 52:05Speaker 11: about one in five are saying that they want to
- 52:07Speaker 11: know someone's credit score before they even agree to a
- 52:10Speaker 11: first date.
- 52:10Speaker 20: Wow.
- 52:11Speaker 6: I kind of feel like that's a little personal, right?
- 52:13Speaker 7: Like, are you going to actually give up that information?
- 52:15Speaker 3: But is it also real? Does the credit score stand
- 52:17Speaker 3: for something else? Like, they're just saying, I really need
- 52:19Speaker 3: to know more about something. They really want to know
- 52:20Speaker 3: their credit score.
- 52:21Speaker 5: No, they are straight up saying there.
- 52:22Speaker 11: Some people are saying they will not date you if
- 52:24Speaker 11: your credit score is under a 580.
- 52:26Speaker 3: Okay, so let me tell you something. I just recently
- 52:29Speaker 3: found out my credit score, like, five days ago.
- 52:32Speaker 4: For the first time ever?
- 52:33Speaker 3: Yeah, for the first time ever. And I was like, oh, wow,
- 52:36Speaker 3: I didn't know that. And I found out what the
- 52:40Speaker 3: highest it can be is. So do you guys know
- 52:43Speaker 3: your individual credit scores?
- 52:44Speaker 17: Yes.
- 52:44Speaker 3: Like, for real, for real?
- 52:45Speaker 6: Not off the top of my head.
- 52:46Speaker 3: So, like, you would share it?
- 52:47Speaker 10: Me?
- 52:47Speaker 3: Like, I didn't know it was such a big deal. Like,
- 52:49Speaker 3: you just said it's, what did you say?
- 52:50Speaker 6: I feel like it's personal information.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Like, I didn't know it was personal information.
- 52:52Speaker 5: I wouldn't want to share my credit score.
- 52:54Speaker 10: How come?
- 52:54Speaker 3: Because it's bad?
- 52:54Speaker 5: But I am proud of myself.
- 52:56Speaker 3: Now, how come you wouldn't want to share it? Is
- 52:57Speaker 3: it like social security number? Because I know I'll share mine.
- 52:59Speaker 11: It just kind of just tells people a little bit
- 53:01Speaker 11: about you and how you handle your finances. Sometimes people
- 53:04Speaker 11: just don't need to know all that.
- 53:06Speaker 5: I think if you have.
- 53:07Speaker 7: Like a really good credit score, you're probably more willing
- 53:10Speaker 7: to share it. But if you have a really bad
- 53:12Speaker 7: credit score, you may not. Either way, it's like none
- 53:15Speaker 7: of your business.
- 53:16Speaker 3: So if I'm on a date and a girl says
- 53:18Speaker 3: to me, what's your credit score? And I happen to
- 53:19Speaker 3: know it because I do know it now. I could
- 53:21Speaker 3: say it. But if I didn't know it, like, how
- 53:24Speaker 3: do you get that? Hold on. Let me Google. Let
- 53:25Speaker 3: me find out. Like, how do you find out?
- 53:26Speaker 5: A lot of times it's on your bank account.
- 53:28Speaker 3: Oh, it's on your bank account?
- 53:30Speaker 5: You can go and find it or pull it.
- 53:32Speaker 4: Yeah, it depends on what app you use. Like, I
- 53:33Speaker 4: use Rocket Money. So it'll tell you.
- 53:35Speaker 3: So why? How come you don't understand? Is yours bad?
- 53:37Speaker 2: Mine?
- 53:38Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 53:39Speaker 5: No, I just wouldn't want to share my credit score.
- 53:41Speaker 5: I don't have a bad credit score.
- 53:42Speaker 3: But I don't understand.
- 53:43Speaker 5: I just don't feel like I want to tell you that.
- 53:45Speaker 3: Mine's $ 750, 000.
- 53:47Speaker 2: That's good.
- 53:47Speaker 5: That's really good.
- 53:48Speaker 3: I know. I found the highest you can get is 800.
- 53:50Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 53:50Speaker 3: But I also wouldn't, am not afraid to share it. Like,
- 53:53Speaker 3: if yours is 600, who cares? Well, because it kind
- 53:55Speaker 3: of shows. Like, I don't understand why you don't want
- 53:56Speaker 3: to share it.
- 53:57Speaker 11: Well, the lower your credit score is, like, it might
- 53:59Speaker 11: be harder for you to take out a loan to
- 54:01Speaker 11: get a car or a loan to get a house.
- 54:02Speaker 11: So it kind of just tells who you are as
- 54:04Speaker 11: a person financially. Like, in this study, there was this
- 54:07Speaker 11: girl that said, like, having an 800 credit score is
- 54:10Speaker 11: like being the new six feet tall.
- 54:12Speaker 5: Like, it makes you that much more attractive.
- 54:14Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 54:15Speaker 4: I don't know, because you think about if you're just dating,
- 54:18Speaker 4: you meet the person of your dreams. They don't necessarily
- 54:21Speaker 4: have their act together. You guys got to grow into
- 54:23Speaker 4: that together. So you might be turning loose a work
- 54:27Speaker 4: in progress that could be an 800 down the road.
- 54:30Speaker 4: That's a perfect match for you just because they're not
- 54:33Speaker 4: really thinking about that or maybe they're not even using
- 54:35Speaker 4: credit cards yet.
- 54:36Speaker 10: What are the.
- 54:36Speaker 6: Opinions on asking this? Is it like.
- 54:39Speaker 7: Because it almost seems like, you know, if you ask
- 54:41Speaker 7: someone how much money they make on their first date,
- 54:43Speaker 7: that's pretty shallow.
- 54:44Speaker 5: It's a red flag.
- 54:44Speaker 6: Like, is this also a shallow question?
- 54:47Speaker 5: Probably, right? Because you're trying to figure out.
- 54:49Speaker 7: Because you're trying to, like, dig into their financial situations,
- 54:52Speaker 7: which I don't like necessarily. I mean, obviously, you don't, like,
- 54:55Speaker 7: want to get yourself into a financial mess because of
- 54:57Speaker 7: who you're with.
- 54:58Speaker 6: But also, it's like, like Rich said, like, you kind of, like,
- 55:00Speaker 6: ease into that.
- 55:02Speaker 3: I don't know how my credit score is 750. Like,
- 55:06Speaker 3: I don't know why it's not 800. Like my wife,
- 55:09Speaker 3: she pays all our bills, so I would assume she
- 55:11Speaker 3: missed something, right? Not necessarily. What do you think it is?
- 55:16Speaker 7: Well, sometimes your score could get dinged if you have
- 55:18Speaker 7: too many accounts open. All of your accounts could be
- 55:21Speaker 7: in a great standing, but they think you have too
- 55:23Speaker 7: many of them.
- 55:24Speaker 4: Or maybe you don't use your credit card enough to
- 55:26Speaker 4: have enough because it's like they use it like, I
- 55:29Speaker 4: use my credit card and then I pay it off.
- 55:31Speaker 3: I saw the highest of the 800. I was like,
- 55:32Speaker 3: why the hell am I not 800? What gives? She said,
- 55:35Speaker 3: I want to know. And also, it's so interesting that
- 55:37Speaker 3: Peyton doesn't want to say what hers is. I don't care,
- 55:39Speaker 3: but I think it's interesting how you don't want to
- 55:41Speaker 3: share it.
- 55:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I just don't feel like that's anyone's business.
- 55:43Speaker 3: I know, but so is he talking about your sex life.
- 55:46Speaker 3: You talk about that. You talk about all these other
- 55:49Speaker 3: things you talk about. So is about how you vape.
- 55:52Speaker 3: So is that. It's a radio show. If you don't
- 55:55Speaker 3: know the number, then we don't need to know the number.
- 55:57Speaker 3: But if you know the number and you're not sharing it,
- 55:58Speaker 3: mean just finding out what mine is. I'm curious as
- 56:01Speaker 3: to reason you don't want to share it. That's the
- 56:02Speaker 3: part I don't get.
- 56:03Speaker 5: I'm in your realm. I'm over there.
- 56:05Speaker 2: It's not my realm. I don't care.
- 56:07Speaker 3: If mine was 200, I would tell you mine is 200.
- 56:10Speaker 7: I think it's like maybe you could go, okay, maybe
- 56:13Speaker 7: you don't need the exact score, but maybe the ranking.
- 56:15Speaker 6: Because doesn't it go excellent, good?
- 56:18Speaker 3: Oh, that part I don't know. I just saw the number.
- 56:21Speaker 3: I just saw the number.
- 56:22Speaker 5: Yours would be excellent.
- 56:23Speaker 3: Danielle, good morning. You're on the air. Sorry, I got
- 56:25Speaker 3: a little sidetracked talking about... Credit scores, Danielle, in dating.
- 56:29Speaker 3: You're on the air.
- 56:30Speaker 27: I feel like if people are asking about credit scores
- 56:33Speaker 27: on the first date and have the audacity, I fully
- 56:36Speaker 27: have the audacity to ask for a dick pic and
- 56:38Speaker 27: know what you're talking about.
- 56:40Speaker 4: Before you commit.
- 56:41Speaker 6: Wasting my time.
- 56:43Speaker 27: Before I get dressed and do my hair and shave
- 56:46Speaker 27: my entire body from the eyebrows down. And then sit
- 56:50Speaker 27: through dinner and act like.
- 56:53Speaker 27: I can give a shit about your fantasy football. That's
- 56:58Speaker 27: my precious time.
- 56:59Speaker 20: So send me the nude.
- 57:00Speaker 27: Let's just see what we're.
- 57:01Speaker 20: Working with here.
- 57:04Speaker 3: So you don't care about the 750 or 800 credit score.
- 57:08Speaker 3: You need something else.
- 57:10Speaker 6: You just see.
- 57:11Speaker 5: What you're working with.
- 57:12Speaker 27: Exactly.
- 57:13Speaker 3: So do you need it to be a larger credit
- 57:15Speaker 3: score or a smaller credit score?
- 57:16Speaker 12: I mean.
- 57:18Speaker 27: It's not the size of the credit score.
- 57:19Speaker 20: It's what you do with the credit score.
- 57:21Speaker 3: Fair enough. Okay, what is a picture? If you send
- 57:25Speaker 3: a picture, it doesn't mean that you know what to
- 57:26Speaker 3: do with the credit score.
- 57:28Speaker 20: I mean, that's true.
- 57:29Speaker 27: But the credit score can go up and down. You know, like,
- 57:31Speaker 27: I understand. Like, oh, you applied for a credit card
- 57:34Speaker 27: and you got a ding or something.
- 57:36Speaker 20: But, you know, anatomy is anatomy.
- 57:39Speaker 24: Right.
- 57:41Speaker 3: Well, I definitely have too low of a credit score
- 57:44Speaker 3: for her.
- 57:45Speaker 10: All right.
- 57:46Speaker 3: Thanks, Danielle.
- 57:46Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 57:48Speaker 15: Annie, good morning.
- 57:49Speaker 14: You're on the air.
- 57:50Speaker 3: Your thoughts?
- 57:51Speaker 10: Morning.
- 57:53Speaker 3: So, forget the credit score. I want to see screen time.
- 57:55Speaker 10: Before we go out because....
- 58:19Speaker 15: Like there's so many guys who have like eight hours
- 58:22Speaker 15: a day of just Instagram reels and TikToks.
- 58:26Speaker 20: And that's not for me.
- 58:28Speaker 4: OK, but let me let me put this out there
- 58:31Speaker 4: for you. That's because they haven't hung out with you yet.
- 58:33Speaker 4: They've got nothing else going on. Once they go out
- 58:35Speaker 4: with you, that screen time might go way down.
- 58:39Speaker 21: Oh, wait, I like the way you say it.
- 58:41Speaker 4: Sure, because now they've got somebody worth spending time with.
- 58:44Speaker 4: They don't need to be on their phone right now.
- 58:46Speaker 4: They're just kind of floating around.
- 58:48Speaker 8: All right.
- 58:48Speaker 24: This is a different perspective I haven't heard before.
- 58:51Speaker 15: But like I've gone out with so many guys who
- 58:54Speaker 15: I'm just like at the dinner with them and they're
- 58:58Speaker 15: picking up their phone like a million times and they're.
- 59:01Speaker 24: Like not present. So I want to know ahead of
- 59:06Speaker 24: time if they're gonna like keep looking at their phone
- 59:10Speaker 24: like checking their stories while we're on our date that
- 59:14Speaker 24: could be a.
- 59:14Speaker 3: Red flag how can you tell how many times they
- 59:16Speaker 3: picked up their.
- 59:17Speaker 24: Phone oh there's totally like there's a thing you can
- 59:20Speaker 24: see on your phone it says how many times you
- 59:23Speaker 24: pick up in a day there.
- 59:25Speaker 6: Is I do not want to look at that I
- 59:26Speaker 6: do Oh, where is that?
- 59:28Speaker 3: Where do you see that?
- 59:29Speaker 6: That's frightening.
- 59:30Speaker 9: What's it called?
- 59:32Speaker 19: They will tell you how to get there.
- 59:34Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 59:35Speaker 5: I'm scared.
- 59:36Speaker 3: I want to look that up.
- 59:37Speaker 5: Let's see.
- 59:37Speaker 3: I think it would be fun to share that. Unless
- 59:40Speaker 3: Peyton doesn't want to share that. It's too personal.
- 59:42Speaker 5: It might be. How do we find out how many times?
- 59:46Speaker 3: Is that a real thing?
- 59:47Speaker 4: I've never heard of it before.
- 59:49Speaker 6: I know you can check your screen time.
- 59:51Speaker 3: I know that.
- 59:51Speaker 6: I know you can check that.
- 59:53Speaker 3: I don't know how to find that. It just pops up.
- 59:54Speaker 5: Okay, so it goes, yeah, go to settings. Go to
- 59:57Speaker 5: screen time.
- 59:57Speaker 4: Okay, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 59:59Speaker 3: Settings.
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: On an Android, it's digital well-being.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: Where's screen time at?
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: Let's see. I see home screen and app library. Okay.
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: Where does he screen? Oh, screen time. Okay, screen time.
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: Now what do I do?
- 1:00:13Speaker 11: Okay, so you go to screen time, and then you
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: go to see all app and website activities.
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: Okay. And then you scroll down until you see pickups.
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: I've had 41 pickups today.
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: See all app and website activity.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: We're just the same. I've had 40 pickups today.
- 1:00:27Speaker 22: Yeah.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: Hold on, hold on, hold on. Where do you see that? Pickups.
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: I don't see pickups.
- 1:00:31Speaker 10: 29. Yeah.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: Ah, listen, you guys, you guys are addicted. Hey, Annie, Annie,
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: what's a number? What's a good number that you would
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: go on a date with a guy if he had
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: a certain amount of pickups?
- 1:00:42Speaker 24: Anything over 100 a day.
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: We're out.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Now that to me is way more interesting than a
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: credit score.
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: To find out how many times you're on your phone
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: being addicted to your phone. Yeah, I'm with you, Annie.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: I agree with you, Annie.
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: The thing is, is that you start with chemistry, right?
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: And then you're sort of training the person how to
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: be with you. So if you let them loose because
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: of all these things, you never get to, you know,
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: figure it all out together and grow together. You might
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: be missing something.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: Annie, thanks for calling in.
- 1:01:11Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: You've got questions, and we have four unqualified people to
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: give you answers.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: It's John Jay and Rich. Angie, good morning.
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 1:01:20Speaker 9: Good morning.
- 1:01:21Speaker 21: I have an excellent credit score.
- 1:01:23Speaker 16: Great.
- 1:01:24Speaker 21: I wanted to talk about, you know, how it affects
- 1:01:26Speaker 21: dating because I'm single and I feel that your credit
- 1:01:30Speaker 21: score can be affected by things that are out of
- 1:01:32Speaker 21: your control. There's a lot of fraud, a lot of
- 1:01:34Speaker 21: online fraud and all that stuff. So that would be
- 1:01:38Speaker 21: not my first thing. It would be their spending habits,
- 1:01:43Speaker 21: how they treat people, like we're on a date. Are
- 1:01:45Speaker 21: they going to be like, oh, we got to share
- 1:01:47Speaker 21: something because I can't afford it or I have to
- 1:01:49Speaker 21: keep on or things like that. may be a red flag.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: Okay. Well, we were talking about like, hey, everyone was
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: calling in saying, forget credit score. This woman was like,
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: he's got to show me a picture of his junk.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: You know, forget credit score. He better have a good
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: relationship with his mom. Forget credit score. He better have
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: a clean apartment. You know, it's like that. It's not
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: necessarily about the credit score.
- 1:02:10Speaker 21: Well, that's what I'm, I guess I'm backing that up.
- 1:02:12Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: Very good. Well, thank you, Angie.
- 1:02:14Speaker 21: I have, you know, like a great credit score and
- 1:02:17Speaker 21: I would share it with anybody.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: What's your credit score?
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: It sounds like you're trying to.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: What is it?
- 1:02:21Speaker 21: Right now, it's $ 780, and its highest was in March
- 1:02:24Speaker 21: at $ 843. Way to go.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: You know, we have somebody that actually works for a
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: credit company right now. Lindsay, good morning.
- 1:02:30Speaker 15: Good morning. Yes, so just kind of hearing, John Jay,
- 1:02:34Speaker 15: you have a great credit score at $ 750. I work
- 1:02:38Speaker 15: for a credit card company and do credit analyst back
- 1:02:42Speaker 15: in the day, and I Actually, the highest score you
- 1:02:45Speaker 15: can get is an 850.
- 1:02:46Speaker 20: So not to shade you.
- 1:02:48Speaker 18: No, that's okay.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: That's okay. I was just telling Kyle. I was telling
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Kyle Payton and Rich in here. I had a car
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: repossessed one time. I remember I used to get the
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: pink slips all the time. I bought a phone. I
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: never paid for it. So I figured I wanted... How
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: long does that stay with you, Lindsay?
- 1:03:05Speaker 15: It can take anywhere from 7 to 10 years, just
- 1:03:07Speaker 15: like a bankruptcy.
- 1:03:09Speaker 20: So, I mean.
- 1:03:11Speaker 15: What the credit like credit card company and your credit score,
- 1:03:15Speaker 15: what they want to see, like the three bureaus, is
- 1:03:18Speaker 15: you being in debt and getting out of it, actually.
- 1:03:20Speaker 20: So spend money like you raise up your. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:03:25Speaker 15: Spending money, pay it off, spend money, pay it off
- 1:03:28Speaker 15: like that's what they want to see.
- 1:03:29Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:03:30Speaker 20: To be honest, the credit.
- 1:03:32Speaker 15: Bureaus like to see people with 15-plus credit cards.
- 1:03:35Speaker 20: Do I agree with that by any means?
- 1:03:38Speaker 12: No.
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: That's a lot.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:03:41Speaker 24: It's a lot.
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: You actually do a disservice to yourself. Let's say if
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: you have one credit card and you don't really charge
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: anything on it and you pay cash. So when you
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: go to buy a house, you probably have a low
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: credit score, even though you have zero debt.
- 1:03:53Speaker 20: A hundred percent.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: All right, Lindsay, well, you're next.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: Yeah, you will.
- 1:03:58Speaker 20: No, you're very knowledgeable.
- 1:03:59Speaker 15: So, but again, you know, John Jay, just hearing your
- 1:04:02Speaker 15: seven 50, that's a great score, but yeah, you can
- 1:04:04Speaker 15: get an eight 50.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: What would knock me down? Like, why, why do I
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: not have an eight 50? What could be on there?
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: What takes you down a hundred points? Or is it
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: 10 points?
- 1:04:12Speaker 20: It could be just your use.
- 1:04:14Speaker 15: It sounds like your use. If you don't have anything delinquent,
- 1:04:17Speaker 15: missed payments, anything like that, just your use.
- 1:04:21Speaker 20: My use?
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: Use.
- 1:04:22Speaker 20: Because I'm so young.
- 1:04:26Speaker 15: Using your credit cards and racking them up and then
- 1:04:29Speaker 15: paying them off. Kind of sitting with a balance, right?
- 1:04:32Speaker 15: People who pay off their credit cards every single month...
- 1:04:36Speaker 15: don't have a great credit score either because you want
- 1:04:39Speaker 15: to sit with a balance.
- 1:04:40Speaker 20: For a little bit. It's like two to three months.
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: The system is wrong. You know what I mean?
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: It seems like if you're like a responsible financial person,
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: your credit score isn't quite as high.
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: I would think if you're going to go buy it,
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: let's say Peyton, you're going to buy a house soon.
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: If your credit score is as shockingly low as we
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: think it is based on what you were saying before,
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: you would think that they just want to look at
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: your debt to income. Like how much money do you
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: not spend on, so that you can afford the house.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: But they're looking at how much debt do you have
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: that you sort of kind of pay off. And the
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: more debt that you sort of kind of pay off.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: The better off you are. We're Trinidad Dave Ramsey here.
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: I thought we were going to talk about fun things
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: you do instead of... Hey, Lindsay, thank you for calling in.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: Tim, good morning.
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: You're on the air.
- 1:05:21Speaker 9: The thing is, is when you're young, you go to
- 1:05:24Speaker 9: the club, you see a guy or you see a
- 1:05:26Speaker 9: girl across the thing, and you.
- 1:05:27Speaker 27: Walk over and you're like, Gang, gang, you're banging.
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: Let me get those digits. You guys sure? Like 602-260-1047.
- 1:05:33Speaker 9: There's my number. Call me up.
- 1:05:35Speaker 20: They're like, cool, cool.
- 1:05:36Speaker 9: But when you're older, the whole thing is like, oh,
- 1:05:40Speaker 9: let me go there and get those digits. And you're like, no,
- 1:05:43Speaker 9: I don't want your phone number. I want to know
- 1:05:44Speaker 9: what your debt-to-income ratio is.
- 1:05:45Speaker 18: What's your bank account balance?
- 1:05:47Speaker 9: What's that 457 look like? How many kids you got?
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: Are your house paid off?
