- 0:14Texas ECUSEARCH came to Aransas Pass, Texas, they used ground penetrating radar and
- 0:20cleared brush on properties owned by Robert Earl Green, or Bob as he was
- 0:25better known. He's the father of Debbie Green, the ten year old girl
- 0:30who Alisa Roberson was supposed to have met halfway between their homes the day she
- 0:36vanished. Fifty nine years old. At the time of Alisa Roberson's disappearance in
- 0:42August of nineteen eighty nine, Bob became the prime suspect in the case in
- 0:46the eyes of Aransas Pass Police Lieutenant Linda Thompson and Captain of Detectives Mike Thompson.
- 0:53But twenty seven years after Elisa was last seen on her way to meet
- 0:58Debbie at Key Burger Elementary School, there was a new detective in town,
- 1:02Captain Kyle Rhodes, and a new Texas ranger working alongside him, Antonio or
- 1:08Tony Deluna. Early that summer, their focus was on properties owned by Bob
- 1:15Green, but when Texas exusearch returned, the focus shifted. In August of
- 1:22twenty sixteen, both Elisa's sister Ruby and her mother Marina, traveled to Aransas
- 1:27Pass to memorialize her years earlier in two thousand and nine, a tree was
- 1:33planted on the front lawn of Key Burger Elementary and under it a plaque that
- 1:38reads, in memory of Alisa Roberson and for all the lost children, may
- 1:44they find their way back home. When Ruby posted on Facebook that she was
- 1:48coming back to Aransas Pass from Idaho to visit the memorial, she was contacted
- 1:53by a friend who worked at a Loewe's home improvement store. The company wanted
- 1:59to Controy tribe, and upon Marina and Ruby's journey back to the bayside city
- 2:04that held so much pain for them, the organization Lowe's Heroes placed a red
- 2:09ornate bench facing the plaque, a raised flower bed with red flowers and red
- 2:15mulch, and hung hummingbird feeders and potted flowers on shepherd hooks. The upgrade
- 2:22took place on the morning of August sixth, twenty sixteen, during a small
- 2:27ceremony of about twenty or so local folks, including friends and even some of
- 2:31Elisa's teachers. The event was emotional, a somber reminder that they knew virtually
- 2:38nothing about what happened to the thirteen year old girl. Immediately after the almost
- 2:45funereal event, things took a dark turn and an old friend's years long vendetta
- 2:51came to its culmination. The only one that knows what happened is the doer,
- 3:21and all I can prove is two things. I can prove that he's
- 3:28a pedophile by court record, and I can prove he as a liar.
- 3:34Most pedophiles don't kill, and I don't think he intended to kill Alisa.
- 3:38I believe he accidentally killed her. During the initial investigation, former Araansis Pass
- 3:57Police Lieutenant Linda Thompson told us Bob Green quickly came on the radar as a
- 4:02person of interest. Bob had known Marina and their kids for years, and
- 4:08in fact was once their landlord. Marina told us about their long friendship.
- 4:14We used to live at mister Green's house I rented, he have a rent
- 4:19a rental at eleven before that, and my daughter hang around a loud at
- 4:29his house, just spend the night. And then when I moved from that
- 4:34house from his house to the other house at the witness treat Then he and
- 4:42David used to come and pick up my daughters to take them to his house,
- 4:48and then when they finished playing, he used to bring them back.
- 4:53Was sometimes that daughter Ruby and Elissa spend the night at their house with Devi.
- 5:00She will always ask you, you call ma plu with my dolls.
- 5:03Can you come and play with my dolls? You'll know. For about two
- 5:09years, they'd rented out the downstairs of the Green family home. Bob sometimes
- 5:15helped out the Robersons, and even after they moved out of his house on
- 5:18Eleventh Street and into the above garage apartment on South Whitney, Alisa and Ruby
- 5:25played with his daughter Debbie. Bob would give the kids rides to and from
- 5:30home often, but according to Marina and Ruby, his own family implicated him
- 5:35and Alisa's disappearance. Your wife told me Bob is not the man everybody thinks
- 5:44he is. But that day after Lisa went missing, whether it was the
- 5:50day after or a few days after, I don't know exact timing, but
- 5:56Debbie, both Debbie and her mom told my mom and me I was there.
- 6:00I was always with, you know, my mom after this happened,
- 6:02but because she was so scared of letting her kids out of her sight,
- 6:05so she had us like we were stuck to her like glue. We weren't
- 6:09allowed to go like we used to go. And so I remember being there,
- 6:13and I remember mister Debbie and Terry both saying, we think Bob had
- 6:17something to do with it, because he's been acting really strange. According to
- 6:23both Olinda and Mike Thompson, ransis past captain of detectives. At the time,
- 6:28complaints against Bob Green had been made on a couple occasions, accusing him
- 6:32of indecency with a child and molestation. I weren't chases on him. Regarding
- 6:39another friend in the community, Debbie's older sisters half sisters, the guy was
- 6:46a pedophile. Ulessa would not have thought anything about Hoffman car with him.
- 6:53No one had reported screaming, and there were no signs of a struggle at
- 6:57or near the area where the bloodhound Clement Time lost Elisa sent to the day
- 7:01following her disappearance, Elisa, by nearly every indication, got into a vehicle
- 7:09with someone she knew and trusted. Considering those unignorable circumstances and the fact that
- 7:15Alisa was to have met his daughter the day she went missing, Lieutenant Thompson
- 7:19decided Bob had better be scrutinized closely. Bob, of course, didn't like
- 7:26that. Bob hated me, absolutely despised me. And it was obvious from
- 7:32the time I first met him, which was on Elisa's case, that he
- 7:36damasured him like a woman and a physician authority period. And when that woman
- 7:43kept coming back and coming back and coming back, wanted to talk to his
- 7:46daughter, wanted to talk to him, wanted to talk to Terry, it
- 7:50just made him extremely hostile. Then I arrest him for another little girl's outcry
- 7:57and that child's and says, no, no, no, we're not going
- 8:01to do this. I'm not going to push it. I can't. Everybody's
- 8:05got the right to be confronted by their accuser, and if your accuser we
- 8:09can't, then they can't. And I got where I wouldn't talk to Debbie
- 8:16with Bob ran I would make Terry be the parent. He said, well,
- 8:20you can't do that. I said, no, I have to have
- 8:22his parents permission, and I said, she's a witness. I can get
- 8:26a court order if you want to do it that way, and if I
- 8:30get a court order, then you ignored, Terry will be in the room
- 8:33when I talk to her, And so he would give a little bit.
- 8:37As far as Bob's alibi, both Linda and Mike Thompson told us the man
- 8:41did himself no favors. He had a shop two blocks up south from where
- 8:48he actually lived. According to him, he'd been working in the shop and
- 8:52fell asleep in his car. There was to mention that he was a smother
- 8:58property buying the law or whatever he was doing. It's August in South Texas.
- 9:03You're talking ninety five degrees. Mike was able with the help of a
- 9:09climatologist to come up with it would have been around one hundred and thirty five
- 9:15one hundred and forty degrees in that car, in that shed at that time
- 9:20on a Sunday afternoon. I don't think he's all asleep in no car.
- 9:24Though online calculators and controlled studies very slightly. The temperature fluctuated between ninety and
- 9:33ninety six degrees fahrenheit during this period, and at the low end it was
- 9:37one hundred and thirty three degrees in that car. After sixty minutes, Bob
- 9:43in other words, we never woke up. It would have just cooked his
- 9:46brain. So that's the two things I can prove about him is that he's
- 9:50a liar and he's a pedophile. Bob Green was prosecuted on another case,
- 9:58the charge in decency with a child wild. According to court records and the
- 10:01Texas Department of Public Safety, he took a plea deal and got six years
- 10:07probation. Debbie Green told us that this was the case in which the little
- 10:11girl recanted and that her father's sentence was vacated. However, we've been unable
- 10:18to find any documents suggesting he was exonerated. Marina Roberson didn't know much of
- 10:24what occurred concerning Bob Green, the charges and allegations, and she didn't believe
- 10:31his wife and daughter's accusations. After all, he'd always been good to her
- 10:35and the kids. No, No, he saw friends, he saw friends.
- 10:43My friend would never hold Lisa and I remember hearing rumors about mister.
- 10:48But of course my mom thought he was the nicest guy because he would bring
- 10:54her groceries and help her out as she needed a bride, and he would
- 10:56take us kids, you know, to get ice cream. You know,
- 11:00he would take us to the beach and he would have us drive his smart
- 11:05like but he would sit us on his lap and then looking. You know
- 11:07when I see think back like that, that's just stuff you just don't do
- 11:11with someone else's kids, like little girls. You just don't do that.
- 11:15But I guess nobody was. Everyone just thought it was nice, Oh,
- 11:18mister Green. You know. For decades, Marina continued to believe her abusive
- 11:24ex boyfriend, Ralph Gonzales was responsible for Elisa's disappearance. We found out even
- 11:31more details about Bob green disturbing allegations. In fact, we spoke with Debbie
- 11:50Green back in October and then again shortly before the release of the last episode.
- 11:56She vehemently espouses the theory that Marina killed Alisa during a fight, that
- 12:01she went to hit Elisa as she was rebelliously leaving the apartment. Alisa fell
- 12:07down the stairs, and Debbie told me, brok herneck and died. That's
- 12:11what I think happened, and I think she's still in that house. It's
- 12:15a specific, though entirely speculative scenario, and it omits the witness accounts of
- 12:22several wildly credible folks who saw Elisa walking toward Key Burger Elementary School that day.
- 12:30Debbie was not able to provide proof for anything she claims to be true,
- 12:33and answers every challenge with a refusal to investigate. She employs the conspiracy
- 12:39theorist's tactic of bombardment of unprovable information in her attempts to reverse the challenge.
- 12:48Every time she was asked to prove acclaim, the evidence, all of which
- 12:52she says she has, is just out of reach. No matter what fact
- 12:58or differing corroborating account I gave Debbie, it was never right, only she
- 13:05was correct. Normally, I'd ignored Debbie Green completely, but her year's long
- 13:11harassment campaign against Ruby, Marina and Linda Thompson has had a negative effect on
- 13:16them, so it's necessary we break down just a few more claims that Debbie
- 13:22likes to repeat on rapid fire when she gets started. Bob had been mowing
- 13:28a customer's grass during the time Elisa disappeared, Debbie said, but she'd forgotten
- 13:33these people's names, the only names she seems to have forgotten. It's unclear
- 13:39if she believes he was mowing during the time she says Alisa disappeared between three
- 13:46thirty and four, or the time corroborated by virtually everyone else, and facts
- 13:52between five thirty and six. It's also unclear how or why these witnesses to
- 13:58Bob Mowing are more credible and correct than the several others Debbie dismisses, you
- 14:05know, the high school secretary and the decorated World War Two veteran. She
- 14:11also continually dismisses the memory of folks around the time, everyone who doesn't subscribe
- 14:16to her version anyway. The managing editor of the ransis past progress. Mary
- 14:24Molina Cole, along with several other folks, must have been mistaken when she
- 14:28remembered Marina and Ruby coming into the newspaper's office the day following Elisa's disappearance,
- 14:35distraught and frantic. They were there to get Elisa's photograph in the paper.
- 14:41But Debbie's theory anyway didn't materialize out of thin air. At least that's what
- 14:46I've been told. The theory that I have, and that Christine has,
- 14:52and that many people have, is that indeed Marina was mad at Lisa that
- 14:56day, and that somehow, trying to discipline her or whatever, by accident,
- 15:03she hit her too hard. She fell down the stairs and she's buried
- 15:07underneath that cement in that garage. And that's what I think. That's kind
- 15:13of what the sonar showed when they searched. At least that's what I was
- 15:16told. And from the person I know who poured the concrete, that's what
- 15:20they suspect too. And they admitted to pouring that concrete because Marina asked them
- 15:26to. Two weeks after, like August fifteenth, Alisa disappeared August sixth.
- 15:31This this person had lots of concrete because of their job, they didn't have
- 15:37to pay for it. And it wasn't a whole lot of concrete. It
- 15:41wasn't the whole garage. It was like a six by six or six x
- 15:45ten little area, just enough to set a washer and dryer on, if
- 15:50you get what I'm saying, Like it's not the whole dirt for garage,
- 15:54just one spot in that garage that is where this concrete was poured. Okay,
- 16:00that's the story. And I know this person personally, And if you
- 16:03weren't recording this, Like if I knew this part wasn't going to go on
- 16:06air, I would tell you who that person is. But I don't want
- 16:11to put that part on air, because I don't know if I'll get in
- 16:14trouble for it. This person is still alive. They can't prosecute him because
- 16:18the statute limitations has ran out for accessory. This person is elderly, very
- 16:25sick. Forget it. I'll just say it because Linda's already got it all
- 16:29over her Facebook. It's fine, it's my dad, Okay, it was
- 16:33my dad who helped her. It was the spot this story goes where Marina
- 16:40buried Elisa, right under the noses of trained cadavergogs who were still in town
- 16:45at the time. She explained to me the role Lieutenant Linda Thompson played and
- 16:51why. I don't know the whole circumstance and the whole situation, but basically,
- 16:57the theory was for this person was that she had three other kids that
- 17:03she needed to take care of and it was an accident, and so they
- 17:07felt bad for her and they helped her out. Linda Thompson has always had
- 17:11a vendetta against my dad for whatever reason. I'm not sure. We all
- 17:17went to church together. My dad did not go to church, but my
- 17:19mom did. We all went to the LDS Church, the Mormon Church,
- 17:23and We also went to sembly a God sometimes too, but that was our
- 17:26main church. But she's had a vendetta against my dad since day one.
- 17:30Okay. Debbie could not, however, offer any explanation as to why Linda
- 17:37would be so obsessed with persecuting her father, and told me Bob had no
- 17:41idea why either. In the case of the little girl that recanted her story
- 17:48about Bob Green's sexual abuse, Debbie offered up, this, that's all bullshit.
- 17:53All of that is bullshit. It was all unfounded because Linda Thompson paid
- 17:57her five thousand dollars to say my dad molested her when me and my mom
- 18:02were in Virginia visiting my aunt and we come back, my dad's in jail.
- 18:07Well he did it whatever they made him do. Me and my mom
- 18:11had left and came to Iowa. A couple of years later. This girl
- 18:14goes back to court and says, yeah, I was paid by Linda Thompson
- 18:18to say this and recanted, and everything was dropped on my dad at that
- 18:22point, like wiped out because she was able to prove that she lied and
- 18:29that wasn't actually what happened. After Part three of Elisa's story aired, Debbie
- 18:34began texting me, at first furious as we texted back and forth. However,
- 18:41she calmed down and we discussed again what Gone Cold had found out through
- 18:47our research and interviews, and how that was in stark contrast to what she
- 18:52believed. Apparently, Captain Kyle Rhodes has been very forthcoming with the information he
- 18:59is collected and investigation with Both Debbie and the person were calling Sharon. It's
- 19:06because, Debbie said in a text, they and a woman, Christine,
- 19:10were the only ones keeping Elisa's case alive. Many of the details that Debbie
- 19:15told me about the current investigation she got straight from the captain himself. She
- 19:21said she saw police files during the supposed current investigation. Debbie says, anyway,
- 19:29our text conversations were about as productive as our phone calls. Again,
- 19:33I found myself agreeing with a few of Debbie's perspectives and she could offer no
- 19:40proof for any But when she shared a text conversation between her and a close
- 19:45family member, things took a different turn. This person was telling Debbie about
- 19:51the sexual abuse they suffered at the hands of her father, Bob. This
- 19:56person said likes girls and boys. He touched me, They said further down
- 20:03in the conversation. I know you won't believe me, because you believe what
- 20:07you want. I never told anyone until now, they added, and went
- 20:11on to say they never let their children or grandchildren around him, something Debbie
- 20:17acknowledges in the text chain to be true. I know what he's capable of
- 20:22doing, this family member said. Though she loved the close family member that
- 20:27had just opened up about Bob sexually abusing them, she wasn't sure she believed
- 20:33them. Debbie told me, I'm paraphrasing there only to omit this person's identity.
- 20:41This is verbatim. He has never liked my dad and was jealous of
- 20:45the way I grew up. That was the point I began trying to end
- 20:49my correspondence with Debbie. She is, however, very persistent. I was,
- 20:56and still am, appalled at Debbie's continual belief of the many accusations against
- 21:03her father, and this particular instance happening in real time was especially difficult to
- 21:07swallow. All of this aside. It is possible Bob Green is not responsible
- 21:15for the disappearance of Alisa Roberson, But before we get into any of that,
- 21:21the preceding was the seed for the tactics and line of investigation. Aransas
- 21:26Pass Police Captain Kyle Rhodes and Texas Ranger Tony Deluna would eventually employ. Although
- 21:33Ruby and Marina had maintained a relatively friendly, albeit distant relationship with Debbie Green
- 21:41over the years, in the late two thousands, everything changed abruptly. In
- 21:47two thousand and nine, after the tree was planted and memorial plaque placed outside
- 21:52Key Burger Elementary School and everyone went their separate ways, Debbie began harassing Ruby
- 21:57and Marina. I prayer, and I her god and praying and as her
- 22:04god. You know everything. You know when Alisa left? Who who took
- 22:11her? What happened? What did they take her her? She said?
- 22:14And was shown me and showed me, I said. And then David Green
- 22:18start doing some crazy things. David Green starts saying that that I did that
- 22:26Elisa never left the house that evening, and that Ruby and all my kill
- 22:32knows that I did it, that I have something to do with her disappearance,
- 22:37and that Elisa got killed in my home, and that Ruby was covering
- 22:42from me, and oh my god, oh my god, what is she
- 22:47saying that? And that's just my answer, meaning it was the moment,
- 22:53it seemed obvious to Marina that Lieutenant Thompson might have been onto something with Bob.
- 23:00Why else would Debbie Green act this way? She thought, It's almost
- 23:04like it's so just so weird how it started to happen, And I think,
- 23:10I can't Okay, So I remember Debbie. I can't remember if this
- 23:12was a conversation with her, her and I both direct or if it was
- 23:17that somebody told me what she said that And now I can't remember because things
- 23:22were pretty chaotic at that time. But from what I understand, she said
- 23:26that after she went missing, she came to our house. Supposed she came
- 23:30to our house and found a saw a bat in the basement that had blood
- 23:36on it. I think that's where it started. I think she was talking
- 23:40to some people, either the detectives or someone, and said I saw this
- 23:42bloody bat in the house, because I kept hearing something about a bloody bat,
- 23:48and I thought, well, Debbie, I don't even remember her coming,
- 23:51you know, back to the house. It was the beginning. Ruby
- 23:55told us of a year's long harassment campaign, and one that would lee the
- 24:00Aransas Pass Police to change course. When Ruby and Marina arrived in Aransas Pass
- 24:18in August of twenty sixteen for the twenty seventh anniversary ceremony. Police Captain Kyle
- 24:23Rhodes and Texas Ranger Tony Deluna requested to speak with them at the station.
- 24:30They agreed, of course, and Rhodes and Doluna grilled them both on their
- 24:33memories of the day. Alisa vanished. Ruby remembers it well, and when
- 24:40they found out we were coming, the police decided the Texas Ranger and the
- 24:45captain that's over the case asked if we'd be willing to do an interview and
- 24:48talk to them and kind of revisit a lot of the facts, and so
- 24:53that's when they questioned us. And well, at some point they'd ask her,
- 24:57would you be willing to take a polygraphic? She said yes. Revisiting
- 25:02Elisa's nineteen eighty nine disappearance was hard, but she and Marina came out the
- 25:07other end of the five hour interview relatively unscathed. The next day, August
- 25:14sixth, the memorial ceremony for Elisa took place. It was early in the
- 25:19day, but the emotional impact of the event drained Marina and Ruby. They
- 25:25were undoubtedly vulnerable, which was the perfect storm of circumstances for ramsis past Police
- 25:32Captain Kyle Rhodes and Texas Ranger Tony Deluna to swoop in and seize the opportunity.
- 25:38Marina is still traumatized by that morning. So okay, okay, so
- 25:45we'll leave it. We are as we are, unsuspected of what was about
- 25:52to happen. At eight thirty, we can put the memorial. And there
- 25:56was a lot of people on the planted some flowers and put a pretty pretty
- 26:03bench, you know, and we got together over there right after, like
- 26:11like at nine o'clock or before nine. Listen, we have not even had
- 26:17breakfast. I have not even had a coup of coffee. That morning,
- 26:22right about probably before nine, the rangers colored Ruby and said we're coming over.
- 26:30We're taking you, bringing your guy to the police station. They said,
- 26:34and said okay. Then they show up and they told me and now
- 26:41we was that we'll start. There was our friends and one took me in
- 26:47in his pickup and the other one took Ruby in another car and he went
- 26:52next to me, take us to the police station, and they take room.
- 26:57They took rubyfore and my god, and it was taking me. It
- 27:04was taking a long long time, or should I said, I wonder what's
- 27:10happening in there? It took, it took. It felt it felt like
- 27:17like three hours that they have Ruby in there. That's how it felt.
- 27:22You know, I'm not saying that it was three hours, but that how
- 27:26it felt. And we have not had any breakfast or anything. And then
- 27:33finally Ruby come over and and they said, okay, you're next, and
- 27:40they took me in there and they kept me for about three hours. It
- 27:45felt a long, long long time. And then they asked me about Green,
- 27:52about mister Green, and then they asked me about Ralph. But there
- 28:00are a few questions that was not to interest about Ralph. Uh, and
- 28:06then the way and then you know what what they have in mind. They
- 28:11neither mister Green, neither Ralph. They thought that I did it. It
- 28:17was like an unfal gassion. When they were over, they went on and
- 28:22at this point they was like, give the polygraph and corpus the other one.
- 28:30They took my mom. Then straight from there, my mom hadn't eating
- 28:33breakfast. My mom was tired, and they just says, will take her.
- 28:37You go do something, you know, go eat or something, and
- 28:41we'll call you when your Mom's done, which looking back, we should have
- 28:44never should I felt like I handed my mom over to the lines then,
- 28:48you know, but you're just not thinking. You're thinking they're there to help
- 28:51you. And so somewhere around and that twisted whatever rumor whatever it was,
- 28:57it just turned on my mom. It's like then it was like my mom
- 29:00was under investigation. And she said they were being really rude to her.
- 29:04They were yelling at her, and they're like, you need to tell us
- 29:07the truth, you know what happened to your daughter. And she's like,
- 29:10wait a minute, like what is going on here? When he was so
- 29:14with me, he started hitting on this sable, he went through the window.
- 29:21Then he came back and he said, and I when I saw you,
- 29:25I thought you weren't going to pass with flying Callorus, he said,
- 29:29and you failed. You failed. These say Naptain, Rhodes himself and Ranger
- 29:34de Luna. They're the ones that told me my mom's the results of her
- 29:38polygraph tested the day she took it. They're the ones that came out and
- 29:42told me everything. Neither Ruby nor Marina no for sure if what do Luna
- 29:48said about the polygraph was true or not. We've never been able to get
- 29:52a straight answer, and we think maybe they were just be asking us just
- 29:56to kind of, you know, you know how investing gators will think to
- 30:00kind of shake things up and make people turn on each other, and then
- 30:03that's how they get someone to convince. I think that's what was going on,
- 30:07but we don't know for sure, so we'll never have a straight answer.
- 30:11A couple years later, Captain Rhodes told the local news there were some
- 30:15challenges with how the investigation started, meaning the original investigation, the family wasn't
- 30:22initially interviewed for a long time. Now we also have a lot of technological
- 30:27differences. While he was at least partially mistaken about the first claim, she
- 30:34was interviewed by some of these hot Texas rangers back when we started this whole
- 30:41darn thing. I can't tell you how many times we were at that house
- 30:45inside outside, pick up Marina bringers and ZD doctor blah blah blah. He
- 30:52utilized the latter. In August twenty sixteen, on the twenty fourth of that
- 30:59monthis ECHU search came back to town, acting on second hand information. This
- 31:04time, however, it wasn't the property of Bob Green. They were after
- 31:10Rather, it was the property where Elisa's family lived at the time of her
- 31:15disappearance, in the above garage apartment at four thirty one South Whitney Street.
- 31:21Debbie Green told us she was brought in to show law enforcement and officials for
- 31:26the Search and Recovery group where her father had supposedly poured concrete atop Elisa's grave
- 31:33using ground penetrating radar and then some sort of machinery to break up the concrete
- 31:40they began their work. Debbie told us she was there the whole time,
- 31:45just outside the dig. If that's true, it's another investigative misstep by Rhodes,
- 31:51a big one. Although Debbie says a skeleton was found, she also
- 31:56admitted to me that she didn't see it, but only her EXCUSEARCH officials say
- 32:01they'd found something. So for seven years now, according to Debbie Green,
- 32:07the Aransas Pass Police have not only managed to keep a secret that they'd found
- 32:12Elisa's body, but have also failed to bring forth charges against anyone. I
- 32:19reached out to Texas Ecusearch for comment, but like the Aransas Pass Police,
- 32:23they have not replied to my requests. Captain Rhodes was confident, perhaps overly
- 32:30so when he said the following year, I think we're getting close. I
- 32:35am pretty confident we will reach a successful conclusion to it and find out what
- 32:38happened to this girl. In August of this year, twenty twenty three,
- 32:44Corpus Christie's Channel three News reported that after testing, interviews and searches, nothing
- 32:51new was discovered and nothing was found in the garage under the former Roberson home.
- 32:58In a social media comment, a family member of the current homeowners said
- 33:02the dig turned up nothing. Debbie then shared with me a private message conversation
- 33:08she had with this person, using the person's claim that they feel Elisa's spirit
- 33:14as proof she was there. The homeowner's family member told me by direct message
- 33:20that nothing was found. Some have posited that if the ground penetrating radar picked
- 33:25up something, there must be something there, even if nothing was found.
- 33:31However, it seems clear these folks have never researched the limitations and fallibilities of
- 33:37ground penetrating radar technology, or GPR. In the two thousand and nine study
- 33:45utilizing ground penetrating radar for the location of a potential human burial under concrete by
- 33:51the University of Alberta's Michael Ballinger. The author discusses a homicide investigation where the
- 33:58GPR picked up on Ann under a concrete slab where investigators had been tipped off
- 34:04to examine, but after jackhammering the concrete to escavate for bones, nothing was
- 34:09found. Although the GPR had identified an anomaly, there was no body or
- 34:16even body fragments to be found. Nothing was there, just empty space.
- 34:22And this case itself is hardly the only one of its kind. Debbie Green
- 34:29continues to push her grand conspiracy theory online to the detriment of the missing thirteen
- 34:35year old's family. She tells me she's the one keeping the case alive,
- 34:40but in the same breath says she won't do interviews because no one likes what
- 34:45she has to say. Debbie maintains that Ruby and Marina tried to keep Elisa's
- 34:51case out of the public's attention until what Linda Thompson calls the equ sarch debacle
- 34:57in twenty sixteen. That's when they re emerged, only to confuse the narrative
- 35:04and continue the cover up. Next time, on Gone Cold, we'll meet
- 35:09private investigator Richard Norgard. If you have any information about the disappearance of Alisa
- 35:16Roberson. Please contact Missing Elisa nineteen eighty nine at gmail dot com the address
