Unbound Symphony Celebrates Women in Music | Seattle News
Bhavani Kotha, a 30-year-old oboist, found profound safety and freedom in an all-woman orchestra—and turned that experience into Unbound Symphony, a Pacific Northwest nonprofit empowering women and gender-marginalized artists in classical music. This summer, its first festival runs July 8–10 at the Highline Performing Arts Center, featuring 58 regional musicians performing works by women composers, plus workshops and a public finale.
