Trooper Stops Wrong-Way Driver on I-95 | Washington DC News
A Virginia State trooper was struck by a wrong-way driver on I-95 in Fairfax County Thursday night, during a high-speed chase in the express lanes. The trooper, attempting to stop the vehicle, was hit and sent to the hospital—expected to recover. The wrong-way driver, also hospitalized and now in custody, faces unknown charges as authorities investigate the chaotic crash that also involved a third vehicle.
