- 2:35Speaker 3: The Fellas fresh back from an extra long weekend down
- 2:38Speaker 3: in christ Church.
- 2:39Speaker 7: How about this weather, moogi, Indeed it's been bizarre. Actually
- 2:43Speaker 7: I've got a bone to pick with the weather a
- 2:44Speaker 7: little later on.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah, if you don't mind, but I'm feeling good, fellas,
- 2:48Speaker 3: and it's almost November, which means it's almost Christmas, which
- 2:52Speaker 3: means it's almost January, which means we're almost back on
- 2:55Speaker 3: air again.
- 2:56Speaker 6: Man, it's my fiftieth almost in like a week based
- 3:00Speaker 6: on that keezy.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, shearly my thirtieth wedding anniversary.
- 3:05Speaker 7: The how old are you?
- 3:07Speaker 2: Pardon?
- 3:11Speaker 7: What's happening on the Big Show with old Mogi.
- 3:16Speaker 6: Bloody huge day back for us here, feelers. There's going
- 3:19Speaker 6: to be a fair amount of weather chat has keys.
- 3:21Speaker 6: He's already mentioned he's got a bone to pick with it.
- 3:23Speaker 6: We're going to also be talking to meteorologist John Law
- 3:26Speaker 6: given Hoidy J is not feeling good about the prospects
- 3:29Speaker 6: of summer. I'll also be banging on a fair amount
- 3:32Speaker 6: about Fiji and you simply must go if you haven't
- 3:35Speaker 6: been sure. And Hoidy J is going to regale us
- 3:39Speaker 6: with a yarn about playing with an old man who
- 3:42Speaker 6: had no pants on and a public toilet. Looking forward
- 3:44Speaker 6: to that, bastard.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Plus I for you into our competition to join us
- 3:48Speaker 3: at the World Foods Festival next year.
- 3:50Speaker 7: Keep your phone. I will be calling a winner later
- 3:51Speaker 7: on the show.
- 3:52Speaker 6: Great Sap.
- 3:53Speaker 2: In the meantime, he's definitely.
- 3:54Speaker 1: But the Hurdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio
- 3:58Speaker 1: hod I.
- 4:00Speaker 2: For your Tuesday afternoon. The time is fourteen minutes past
- 4:03Speaker 2: four o'clock. Now, I left last week on the Wednesday,
- 4:07Speaker 2: didn't I? Key, that was your last day? Yes, And
- 4:10Speaker 2: I know that you were flying down to christ Church
- 4:13Speaker 2: on the Thursday evening and she was some pretty wild
- 4:16Speaker 2: weather talkers through it.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Well, Thursday. Actually, I've got a bone to pick with
- 4:19Speaker 3: the weather. I got a bone abe Thursday evening. The
- 4:24Speaker 3: whole day on Thursday was the red wind warning, right,
- 4:27Speaker 3: which I've never heard of before.
- 4:29Speaker 6: By the way, there's another thing that's coming out the weather.
- 4:31Speaker 6: Bone was something that's come out before. We've got red
- 4:33Speaker 6: weather what I mean. Yeah, they just keep on making
- 4:36Speaker 6: it up to make it sound like more and more scary.
- 4:39Speaker 6: I think it's Yes, it's annoying. Well, I've got a
- 4:42Speaker 6: bone to pick as well.
- 4:42Speaker 7: Actually, oh really, I got a bone to pick.
- 4:46Speaker 6: I get annoyed by all the new terminology. It's bullshit totally.
- 4:51Speaker 6: That's the end of my bone.
- 4:52Speaker 7: Okay, I might go back to picking my bone if
- 4:54Speaker 7: it's all good. I got a bone to pick.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Thursday Red Wind Warning ninety thousand homes without power. Roofs
- 5:03Speaker 3: are being torn off, trees are being blown over, right
- 5:05Speaker 3: like it's a disaster. Flight's been canceled all day. I
- 5:08Speaker 3: was flowing to christ Church eight thirty pm.
- 5:11Speaker 7: I believe our flight.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Was Thursday evening, and our flight was moved back four
- 5:16Speaker 3: times two hours delayed. All these other flights from around
- 5:19Speaker 3: the country entering christ Church.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Had been canned Christian.
- 5:22Speaker 7: What the hell's a Christian question?
- 5:24Speaker 6: Oh?
- 5:24Speaker 2: Sorry, you would have been happy about that, wouldn't you,
- 5:28Speaker 2: because you're in the kou lounge free busy.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I wasn't the Coodoo lounge free busies, which was great. However,
- 5:33Speaker 3: I was seeing a wedding on the Friday the next
- 5:35Speaker 3: day and there were no flights available because it was
- 5:38Speaker 3: going into labour weekend. So I looked at flying out Hamilton, Totalinger,
- 5:43Speaker 3: driving across the napier. They were all grounded and all
- 5:46Speaker 3: booked up as well, and so if my flight didn't
- 5:48Speaker 3: take off, I was screwed. And unfortunately the lovely couple
- 5:51Speaker 3: getting married they would have been screwed too, because they
- 5:53Speaker 3: were freaking out that you know, some people didn't actually
- 5:55Speaker 3: make it. So we ended up getting on the plane
- 5:59Speaker 3: heating down land just prior to midnight, I think it was,
- 6:02Speaker 3: had an attempt at landing and the pilot pulled out
- 6:05Speaker 3: of it. Was like, nah, can't do it, pulled back
- 6:07Speaker 3: up again. This is the most turbulent flight I've ever
- 6:08Speaker 3: been on. Eventually brought it back around ten minutes later,
- 6:11Speaker 3: managed to land it did a bloody good job, got
- 6:13Speaker 3: there safe.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Did he run? Clap man?
- 6:15Speaker 3: Ah was there hooting and hollering. No one clapped. My
- 6:18Speaker 3: wife was like, should I start a clap?
- 6:20Speaker 6: Yes?
- 6:21Speaker 7: And I was.
- 6:22Speaker 3: To be honest, I'm not I'm against clapping on planes,
- 6:24Speaker 3: but that deserved a clap.
- 6:25Speaker 7: Yeah, and no one did it. Classic New Zealanders, yeah too, staunch.
- 6:29Speaker 7: So that was fine, right, windy day.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Ever, next day in christ Church, the following three days beautiful,
- 6:35Speaker 3: no wind, no clouds, like eighteen twenty degrees or something.
- 6:39Speaker 3: And then the day we fly out, it starts snowing.
- 6:42Speaker 3: You're joking, what the hell's going on with the weather. Yeah,
- 6:45Speaker 3: I just don't get again.
- 6:47Speaker 7: It's snowing today right now. I got a video of
- 6:49Speaker 7: where I was staying christ Church snowing.
- 6:51Speaker 3: And then you get here and it's pissling with rain
- 6:52Speaker 3: and it's sunny that it's pissing with raining and then
- 6:54Speaker 3: it's windy.
- 6:55Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know what's happening.
- 6:56Speaker 6: It's been bloody beautiful for the last ten days.
- 6:59Speaker 7: You've been in Fiji.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean it's doing my head
- 7:04Speaker 2: in two and I think we've actually got to the
- 7:07Speaker 2: point because we've been heralding spring for so long and
- 7:10Speaker 2: it's begun it.
- 7:12Speaker 7: Yeay.
- 7:13Speaker 2: The twenty first, you know, is the official sort of date,
- 7:16Speaker 2: and it's just been absolutely heenous it has, so I
- 7:21Speaker 2: think we need some professional helpen. Maybe later on the
- 7:23Speaker 2: show we can get hold of a meteorologist. Meteorologist.
- 7:28Speaker 7: What does a meteorologist do?
- 7:29Speaker 2: He reads meters, He.
- 7:32Speaker 7: Predicts what meter is coming out at the butchery exactly.
- 7:36Speaker 2: In the meantime, here's music.
- 7:41Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 7:44Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Is indeed Temple of the Dart there on the Radio
- 7:48Speaker 2: Hodonkey Big Show this Tuesday afternoon and what a wild
- 7:53Speaker 2: and will he cheesday afternoon. It's been feelings. I don't
- 7:56Speaker 2: know what's going on with the weather at the moment,
- 7:58Speaker 2: but it's doing my head in and with that in mind,
- 8:01Speaker 2: we were having a chat amongst the fellows today and
- 8:03Speaker 2: Old Mogi suggested we get a professional on here with us,
- 8:07Speaker 2: a meteorologist, and we did just that. We've got John
- 8:11Speaker 2: Law with us. Good ay, John, how's live?
- 8:14Speaker 8: You're a team yet, really good? Thank you? But like
- 8:16Speaker 8: you say, what a busy week of weather. Honest, we've
- 8:19Speaker 8: had everything thrown at us. It's been ah, yeah, a
- 8:22Speaker 8: busy a few days here, a busy few weeks here
- 8:24Speaker 8: in the forecast.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Room, mediorologist John Lord Kesey here, hope you're well. Question
- 8:28Speaker 3: that I think is on everyone's minds. What the hell
- 8:31Speaker 3: has been going on the last week. It's been wendy,
- 8:33Speaker 3: it's been sunny, it's been raining, it's been wendy again,
- 8:35Speaker 3: it's been snowing down south.
- 8:36Speaker 7: What the HIGs going on?
- 8:37Speaker 6: John?
- 8:38Speaker 8: Oh, it's everything, isn't it. It really is. We've been stuck
- 8:41Speaker 8: in those northwest of these which have been bringing that
- 8:43Speaker 8: wet weather, those strong winds, and then as soon as
- 8:46Speaker 8: those winds are from around to the south, that cold
- 8:48Speaker 8: air back up and across us, bringing that for as well. Yeah,
- 8:52Speaker 8: it's a real change, real change. But that's what spring
- 8:54Speaker 8: is spring is a vulletile, real changeable season.
- 8:57Speaker 6: Exactly right, and it's all year. John missed your man.
- 9:02Speaker 6: Haven't talked to you for a while. Hey, well i've
- 9:04Speaker 6: sort of I've been chatting to these guys and Jason's
- 9:07Speaker 6: fum and He's like, I can see this is going
- 9:09Speaker 6: to be what the weather's like for the rest of
- 9:11Speaker 6: the summer. You know my experiences. I think the last
- 9:13Speaker 6: ten days have been absolutely bloody beauty. We're nevertheless, and
- 9:19Speaker 6: I guess what we want to get from you, John,
- 9:21Speaker 6: as a picture of how the summer is looking. Now,
- 9:23Speaker 6: what are we in? Are we in anina or a ninya?
- 9:26Speaker 6: What can we expect?
- 9:28Speaker 8: That's a great question. I think the summer is still
- 9:31Speaker 8: a way off. We're actually looking at perhaps staying in
- 9:33Speaker 8: that neutral phase and perhaps just edging closer towards ala nina.
- 9:37Speaker 8: But really, this week is not great. The good news
- 9:40Speaker 8: is so things will get better by the end of
- 9:42Speaker 8: the week. So yeah, it's it's an improving story, right.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Okay, So we're right, So we're in neutral at the
- 9:48Speaker 3: moment because I've been in neutral for a few weeks now,
- 9:49Speaker 3: to be honest, John, content wise, right, and so La Nina,
- 9:54Speaker 3: What does.
- 9:54Speaker 8: That mean really, Well, it's the opposites that phase to
- 9:58Speaker 8: al Nino. So we're looking at the sea surface tempertures
- 10:01Speaker 8: in the Pacific and it pushes most of our weather
- 10:03Speaker 8: out towards that western side of Pacific through there. But
- 10:05Speaker 8: for us, really it's a case of being back to
- 10:08Speaker 8: what you'd normally expect. It's those average conditions really for us.
- 10:10Speaker 8: So it all can play apart, but there's a lot
- 10:12Speaker 8: of things happening across the atmosphere all have their own
- 10:15Speaker 8: part to play in our weather.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Well, sorry, make guy's going to say, could just sort
- 10:18Speaker 2: of it out please, John, because it's doing my head in.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I mean I get up every morning and can you
- 10:23Speaker 2: imagine old Hordy Jay standing in his Sunday's beside the beard,
- 10:26Speaker 2: thinking what am I kind of weir today? And then
- 10:29Speaker 2: I look outside, She's beautiful side go lightning. It's personally
- 10:32Speaker 2: with rain. It enragees me. John.
- 10:36Speaker 8: It's the age old question what's awhere? But I mean
- 10:39Speaker 8: I think that's it, isn't it. It's really a case
- 10:40Speaker 8: of having everything on you at all times. The weather
- 10:43Speaker 8: can change, so here in weening to at the moment,
- 10:45Speaker 8: we've got a southerly change running through. It's thunder and
- 10:47Speaker 8: lightning outside the office on the walking in this morning,
- 10:49Speaker 8: it was great. It's just so changeable. So yeah, really
- 10:52Speaker 8: a case of keith n eye on the forecast. But yeah,
- 10:53Speaker 8: you can't go wrong with her always having a layers
- 10:56Speaker 8: that's a key for most of this weather.
- 10:58Speaker 6: So are yeah, pretty much what do when it comes
- 10:59Speaker 6: to Jayson, answer is always skinny jeans and a weird hoodie.
- 11:03Speaker 6: So just in terms of the time, because Jason's panickin,
- 11:06Speaker 6: we can expect it to be pretty much as good
- 11:09Speaker 6: as it always is. It's not going to be a
- 11:11Speaker 6: hell of a lot worse.
- 11:13Speaker 8: That's it. I've not looked fully in dobt the summer forecast,
- 11:15Speaker 8: but I think we are looking at things improving. This
- 11:17Speaker 8: is springtime. We are expecting these volitile conditions get better
- 11:21Speaker 8: by the end of the week. And then I think,
- 11:23Speaker 8: let's not rule somehe out just yet.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Hey, just on before we go, John, because I need
- 11:28Speaker 2: a bit more clarity than that, Thanks God, I need
- 11:31Speaker 2: a bit more certainty. What's a good weather app What.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Do you reckonmendously midservice James, which is John, does it
- 11:38Speaker 3: cost money or anything?
- 11:39Speaker 7: Does it cost money?
- 11:41Speaker 8: No, it's a free service. You can get all your
- 11:43Speaker 8: forecasts on there. But yeah, the met service app is
- 11:45Speaker 8: great and also it's really good that you can have
- 11:46Speaker 8: your notifications put on for any whether red warnings as well,
- 11:49Speaker 8: which is more useful this last week than you really thought.
- 11:53Speaker 2: That's true, so well book Friday golf in a keasy Hey,
- 11:58Speaker 2: John Law, Thank you so much, mate. We appreciate your expertise.
- 12:02Speaker 8: My pleasure. Thanks so much for having me on.
- 12:04Speaker 7: Please mate, God the Hives.
- 12:06Speaker 1: This is a tune the Hollarchy Big Show with Jason,
- 12:11Speaker 1: Mike and Kyzy. Tune in and four on Radio Holky.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Yes, indeed the Chemical Brothers there on the Radio Hodarky
- 12:18Speaker 2: Big Show this Tuesday afternoon. The time is four thirty eight.
- 12:22Speaker 6: Fellas. I don't know if you know this, but I've
- 12:23Speaker 6: just been in Fiji for ten days. You're joking and
- 12:27Speaker 6: my daughter was obviously over there with me for much
- 12:31Speaker 6: of that time.
- 12:32Speaker 7: And sorry, is this one and a half mogis do?
- 12:34Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 12:35Speaker 6: Yeah? Five six m n eight men men men men, men, men, men, men, men,
- 12:41Speaker 6: men men men men men men men men.
- 12:45Speaker 7: Men men men men men men men men men.
- 12:52Speaker 6: One and a half mugis and we did a bit
- 12:57Speaker 6: of stuff over there. To be fair, Yeah, we were
- 13:00Speaker 6: invited over to the family. Local family went to their
- 13:05Speaker 6: house Fordwali. I was on over there, a lot of fireworks,
- 13:09Speaker 6: all sorts going on. My first carver session. Gee, she
- 13:13Speaker 6: got a bit out of hand to talk about that.
- 13:15Speaker 6: Another day, bloody hell, I was knocking bastards out left
- 13:20Speaker 6: and we went out on this boat. It was a
- 13:22Speaker 6: big sailboat and I think it could fit about forty
- 13:27Speaker 6: It was about twenty of us on there. Bloody beautiful.
- 13:29Speaker 6: It was take you out there for about sixteen hours
- 13:32Speaker 6: or so, go past a whole bunch of different islands
- 13:35Speaker 6: and all that sort of stuff. You aways won't know
- 13:36Speaker 6: about this because you just stayed at the resort the
- 13:38Speaker 6: whole time. But this is true story. Anyway, as we're
- 13:41Speaker 6: going along, my daughter, who's got a bloody good she's
- 13:44Speaker 6: got bloody good eyesight.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Really, she says, she's got your eyes, doesn't She.
- 13:49Speaker 7: Got bulgers her boulders on it, big bulgers.
- 13:51Speaker 2: There spot anything for miles away?
- 13:54Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right. And she goes said, Dad, what's going
- 13:57Speaker 6: on over there? It looks like there's people. And so
- 14:02Speaker 6: I spoke to the captain there and he got out.
- 14:04Speaker 6: He had to get out of telescope and he said, jeez,
- 14:06Speaker 6: it looks like there's some some local villages of stress.
- 14:10Speaker 6: Well he had to because binoculars weren't powaform. Yeah, he said,
- 14:13Speaker 6: binoculars couldn't see anything. Telescope there it is. So we
- 14:18Speaker 6: went over there and these villages were absolutely freaking out
- 14:23Speaker 6: and they was telling us that there's been a shark
- 14:26Speaker 6: that's been terrorizing their village for the last couple of weeks.
- 14:29Speaker 6: And it's difficult because they're a fishing village and the
- 14:32Speaker 6: only way they can sustain themselves is through fishing. So
- 14:35Speaker 6: one of them was duck out there to get a fish,
- 14:37Speaker 6: thinking that, jeez, we starving here. Next thing, you know,
- 14:39Speaker 6: the shark comes into douge got the bastard. So they
- 14:43Speaker 6: wanted some help either evacuating the entire village, and there
- 14:47Speaker 6: wasn't enough room on the boat, as I see capacity
- 14:49Speaker 6: for forty four. They had forty five.
- 14:51Speaker 2: On the five bars on the boat too, you said.
- 14:57Speaker 6: And so they said help us with maybe hunting down
- 14:59Speaker 6: this a And we said, well, bloody hell man, we're
- 15:01Speaker 6: not you know, we're not. Well. Next thing you know,
- 15:03Speaker 6: my daughter's over the side of the boat.
- 15:06Speaker 7: She fell out.
- 15:06Speaker 6: She dived over the side of the boat, and she
- 15:09Speaker 6: had a hunting knife in between her teeth, which is
- 15:13Speaker 6: that she got it from in the captain's little house there.
- 15:19Speaker 2: A little cabin, the cabin you know in case of pirates.
- 15:25Speaker 6: Anyway, there's a whole lot of threshing, and god knows
- 15:28Speaker 6: what's going on in the water. There's blood everywhere. I'm
- 15:30Speaker 6: freaking out. My wife's like going and help her. She'll
- 15:34Speaker 6: be good man, it's will toughen her up. Anyway, After
- 15:37Speaker 6: about three and a half hours, she drags out the
- 15:41Speaker 6: skeleton of this bloody while she fill at it aha
- 15:45Speaker 6: in the water, in the water enough to feed a
- 15:49Speaker 6: small army bloody. Amazing, incredible, really incredible, because great whites
- 15:55Speaker 6: aren't they're fierce.
- 15:57Speaker 7: Well, it was a great white, a great white shark.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Oh, come on, ezy geez.
- 16:04Speaker 6: Anyway, before you're out with state that we've ended up
- 16:07Speaker 6: standing there for a couple of days and they've made
- 16:09Speaker 6: my daughter, Moggie Minogi's chief. She's been made a chief
- 16:13Speaker 6: of this island.
- 16:14Speaker 3: That's extraordinary, it is, that's unbelievable.
- 16:17Speaker 6: No, it's extraordinary.
- 16:19Speaker 7: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, so.
- 16:22Speaker 6: She forever more. She used to be known as Mogi
- 16:25Speaker 6: Minogi of Mogiville. They've renamed the island.
- 16:30Speaker 7: To Mogiville.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I'm going to have to visit that.
- 16:33Speaker 6: You're simply mass.
- 16:35Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarkey.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Guns roses here on the Radio hod Archy Big Show
- 16:45Speaker 2: this Tuesday afternoon. Now, just keep an ear out news
- 16:48Speaker 2: yealand for maybe that little sound of gig a little
- 16:51Speaker 2: two hundred and fifty bucks to be won.
- 16:54Speaker 7: You're right there, Keezy, Yeah, good as girl might.
- 16:56Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 16:56Speaker 3: That's right, keeping her out for the roar of the
- 16:58Speaker 3: encore and you could win turn for the bucks if
- 17:00Speaker 3: you call us an eight hundred Hodarchy. I believe this
- 17:02Speaker 3: week is our final week doing it, so I'll be
- 17:04Speaker 3: looking to empty the coffers, so to speak.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Got a little bit of a tingle of motesticles, which
- 17:08Speaker 2: is always a sign. But in the meantime, let's talk TV.
- 17:13Speaker 2: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
- 17:24Speaker 6: Yes, yes, on the flight back from Fiji, fellas, and
- 17:28Speaker 6: have you ever been I watched match stick Men?
- 17:32Speaker 7: We were there with you last weekend.
- 17:36Speaker 6: And it's an old movie it's got Nicholas Cage in it, Chase. Yes,
- 17:41Speaker 6: it's got Sam.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Rockwell and it I love a bit of Sam rock Well.
- 17:44Speaker 6: And they're matchtick men. They're conn artists keys.
- 17:47Speaker 7: Is that what that means?
- 17:48Speaker 2: Right?
- 17:48Speaker 6: Yeah? And they He's also got O c D. So
- 17:52Speaker 6: it's like you know, opening the Door one, two three,
- 17:55Speaker 6: all that sort of stuff. So really neurotic roll from
- 17:59Speaker 6: from him as usual, and it gets a little bit
- 18:03Speaker 6: convoluted at times, but Jesus a good movie. So him
- 18:07Speaker 6: and him and Sam Rockwell partners and they go around
- 18:11Speaker 6: ripping people off, putting cons on them. But his o
- 18:15Speaker 6: c D, Nicholas Cage's OCD is debilitating. It is ruining
- 18:20Speaker 6: his life. He can't get away from it. So he
- 18:22Speaker 6: ends up going to see a psychiatrist who recommends that
- 18:25Speaker 6: he gets in touch with the daughter that he that
- 18:28Speaker 6: he's never seen in his life, and she sort of
- 18:30Speaker 6: comes into his life and is like a wrecking ball almost,
- 18:35Speaker 6: but it takes his focus off his own problems and
- 18:38Speaker 6: then things sort of go on and carry on from there.
- 18:40Speaker 6: It's probably must be fifteen years old, i'd say, but
- 18:43Speaker 6: it's bloody good, as I say, gets a bit convoluted,
- 18:46Speaker 6: but just bloody good acting in a well made movie.
- 18:49Speaker 6: I'll give it three and a half. Match stick men nice.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I like a bit of Rockwall.
- 18:55Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a great combo. Him and Nicholas k very good.
- 18:58Speaker 6: And I was just reminded Floody how he's in some shit.
- 19:01Speaker 6: But Nicholas Cage is unbelievable. He's a great actor.
- 19:04Speaker 2: He's very good on Date Night with my wife. On
- 19:08Speaker 2: SETI we went to see Springs Scene The Road from
- 19:14Speaker 2: Nowhere Ever Me from Nowhere Sure, And it's following very
- 19:19Speaker 2: much from the tradition of sort of musical biopics that
- 19:22Speaker 2: seemed to be going on all over the show all over.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I'm starring Jeremy Alan White, is it Yes, and ol
- 19:30Speaker 2: mate Jeremy Strong as his sort of the producer, Jeremy
- 19:35Speaker 2: White obviously playing Bruce Springsteen. And it was really interesting
- 19:38Speaker 2: because I was watching it getting very annoyed. And it
- 19:41Speaker 2: focuses primarily around the period where Springs Scene is really
- 19:46Speaker 2: beginning to get big, and he makes this album that's
- 19:52Speaker 2: very dark and brooding and he doesn't want anyone to
- 19:55Speaker 2: do anything to it or touch it, right, But he's
- 19:58Speaker 2: also produced all these other great juns like you know,
- 20:00Speaker 2: Born in the USA, which is your surefire hits, but
- 20:03Speaker 2: he doesn't want those releases. He just wants this album released.
- 20:07Speaker 2: And it's really the story about his depression because he
- 20:10Speaker 2: goes nuts about it all. And it was really interesting
- 20:14Speaker 2: because I my wife said, I really really liked the
- 20:19Speaker 2: male relationships that were in the movie Father Well, particularly
- 20:23Speaker 2: between Jeremy Strong who's his producer, and Bruce Springsteen. It's
- 20:26Speaker 2: a very loving relationship. I found it too brooding. There
- 20:32Speaker 2: were too many shots of Bruce being tormented in his
- 20:35Speaker 2: tight T shirt, sort of staring into the wilderness and stuff.
- 20:38Speaker 6: Last year just taking that T shirt off.
- 20:40Speaker 2: He should have and it just focuses on a particular
- 20:44Speaker 2: part of his life because he suffers from depression. Look,
- 20:48Speaker 2: it was okay, and pack Down agrees with me. He
- 20:51Speaker 2: found it a bit too much. But his partner really
- 20:53Speaker 2: liked the male relationships as well.
- 20:55Speaker 6: Yeah, two point seven buses. Can I say that it's
- 21:00Speaker 6: just easy filmmaking. And so you've heard of this bloke,
- 21:03Speaker 6: we're going to make a movie. You'll go on to
- 21:04Speaker 6: it because he's got heaps of or she but actually
- 21:07Speaker 6: only he he's got lots and lots of fans and
- 21:09Speaker 6: I think it's lazy. There was a Bob Dylan one
- 21:11Speaker 6: last year. We've had Bohemian Rhapsody, We've had Elton John. Yes,
- 21:15Speaker 6: I think it's I'm not going to bother with this one.
- 21:18Speaker 6: I'm not going to bother with any of them because
- 21:19Speaker 6: i just think it's light. It's like it's like Marvel movies. Yes, well, I've.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Gotta be honest, as I've seen all of those. I
- 21:24Speaker 2: thought the Elton John won. His performance was next level.
- 21:27Speaker 2: It was out, it was unbelievable. But you know, I'm
- 21:30Speaker 2: the same now. I'm sort of like, Okay, I'm kind
- 21:32Speaker 2: of done with that genre, a little bit yep, keazy,
- 21:36Speaker 2: where as your wife would like.
- 21:37Speaker 3: It probably not to be feel maybe maybe I just
- 21:42Speaker 3: watched Grand Designs.
- 21:43Speaker 6: Tell me about it? Where was it? What episode? Ah?
- 21:46Speaker 7: No, you don't want to know about it, trust me.
- 21:48Speaker 2: You know, we're just sort of slothing on your couch
- 21:50Speaker 2: eating spicy noodles.
- 21:52Speaker 7: Jase I was.
- 21:56Speaker 1: The whole actually big show with Jace, Mike and Kezy.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Tune in weekdays at four on Radio hod Ike.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Welcome back to your massive bagbones. Hope you're getting through
- 22:04Speaker 2: your Tuesday tickety boo you're listening to the big show
- 22:07Speaker 2: brought to you by.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Rebururger, handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gormets that will change
- 22:12Speaker 3: the game.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Ah, Harry is what time do you call us in
- 22:16Speaker 4: the long weekend?
- 22:20Speaker 1: Wander slower?
- 22:22Speaker 4: I'm just kidding your mates?
- 22:23Speaker 2: How are you?
- 22:24Speaker 4: How are you? How is your How was it?
- 22:28Speaker 5: You was just to actually sprinkle the whole seventy two
- 22:34Speaker 5: rolls and eating.
- 22:39Speaker 6: Just chicken?
- 22:40Speaker 7: Is a Reburger?
- 22:42Speaker 4: Is the other one? That's yeah?
- 22:45Speaker 2: The one that's yeah. I've just had a thought, because
- 22:50Speaker 2: there's such great characters, we need to make an animation.
- 22:53Speaker 6: I was saying the same thing, and I was thinking
- 22:56Speaker 6: also that the reason why you said it in the
- 22:58Speaker 6: first break, Jason reminded you of The twelfth Man, the
- 23:01Speaker 6: comedy sketch. It's because sometimes they wouldn't be doing the commentary.
- 23:05Speaker 6: Sometimes they would be in the office having a chat,
- 23:07Speaker 6: so there'd be that phone ringing and all that sort
- 23:09Speaker 6: of stuff. There, that's what it is.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it does remind me of the twelfth Man. Cheese,
- 23:14Speaker 2: do you ever listen to The twelfth Man? Keesy was
- 23:17Speaker 2: magnificent back in the day.
- 23:18Speaker 7: That was the Ussy guy.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, yeah, of course listen to it back in
- 23:22Speaker 3: the day, had reburger over the weekend whilst hungover from
- 23:26Speaker 3: a wedding.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Well, I remember, actually last week you saying that your
- 23:31Speaker 2: wife actually suggested, correct, that will be a bit dusty
- 23:35Speaker 2: on the Sunday. Why don't we get some reburger because
- 23:37Speaker 2: there's one not far from where we are.
- 23:39Speaker 7: That's right.
- 23:40Speaker 3: When I got it, I had a I think it
- 23:42Speaker 3: was like a chicken burger that had bacon and pineapple
- 23:45Speaker 3: in it and barbecue sauce.
- 23:47Speaker 7: It was so good, loaded fries.
- 23:49Speaker 3: She got the cheeseburger and fries only had half of
- 23:51Speaker 3: her cheeseburger.
- 23:52Speaker 7: Put that in the fridge.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Then the day after the thing's got a little out
- 23:55Speaker 3: of hand for yours truly. But when I got home
- 23:57Speaker 3: in the middle of the night, I found a little
- 23:59Speaker 3: half cheese over there. Put it in the air fry
- 24:01Speaker 3: with the chips as well.
- 24:02Speaker 6: Wow.
- 24:03Speaker 7: Hell so good man, good shit, it was good.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Hey, speaking of a long weekend, I had a bit
- 24:08Speaker 2: of drama in my long weekend, fellers, And we'll get
- 24:10Speaker 2: into that next. How does that sound sounds good?
- 24:14Speaker 1: For the Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarchy,
- 24:19Speaker 1: Red Hot.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Chilly Pepper's there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 24:24Speaker 2: Tuesday afternoon. The time it's fourteen minutes past five o'clock. Now, Fellas,
- 24:29Speaker 2: it was a long weekend, obviously now an old hoodie
- 24:33Speaker 2: jay had how many was that? I was up four
- 24:35Speaker 2: or five days off in a raw wow, and I
- 24:38Speaker 2: was fizzing. And what my wife and I like to
- 24:40Speaker 2: do every now and then every sort of third week
- 24:42Speaker 2: is maybe go away for a night, you know, catch
- 24:45Speaker 2: a movie, have a dinner and then stay in a hotel,
- 24:48Speaker 2: usually in town or somewhere like that, just sort of
- 24:51Speaker 2: changing it up a bit, Fellas, And the song we
- 24:54Speaker 2: chose Devonport. So we went over there. You know, it's
- 24:57Speaker 2: a lovely little seaside sort of town. We had dinner
- 25:01Speaker 2: and stuff. But anyway, the drama yesterday at the at
- 25:05Speaker 2: the Faery building, we were standing there waiting for the
- 25:08Speaker 2: fairy and old Hoidy Jane needed to do wheeze, and
- 25:12Speaker 2: so I said to my wife, Darling, I need to
- 25:14Speaker 2: do wheeze and I need to know that. So then
- 25:18Speaker 2: I was walking into the men's toilet and then an
- 25:22Speaker 2: old lady was running out and she said, I'm sorry,
- 25:25Speaker 2: I know I'm not supposed to be in here, but
- 25:27Speaker 2: my husband's fallen over. Can you help me get him up?
- 25:31Speaker 2: And no, not like that. Well, he had fallen over,
- 25:39Speaker 2: and of course I said you, well, of course I
- 25:40Speaker 2: can do that. And I went in there and there
- 25:43Speaker 2: was this old fellow, the poor bugger, on his knees
- 25:46Speaker 2: sort of by the wall, by the urinal there, and
- 25:49Speaker 2: can I just say he was a unit? He was.
- 25:52Speaker 2: He was not like he was an.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Old fella, but he was a stocky bus Yeah, he's
- 25:57Speaker 3: sort of.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Well, no, he wasn't fat. I can imagine him like
- 26:01Speaker 2: working the wolves all his life, you know what I mean,
- 26:03Speaker 2: just just tough as bloody. But he couldn't get up,
- 26:06Speaker 2: and he was Ethan and Jeff in there, and so
- 26:09Speaker 2: I went over to him and I was trying to
- 26:12Speaker 2: lift him up, but because he could, he was wearing
- 26:16Speaker 2: pants and under he's in a shirt and a jacket.
- 26:19Speaker 2: But he let's just say, his pants were slightly a kimbo,
- 26:22Speaker 2: because obviously he was in there to go to the tour.
- 26:24Speaker 7: Those pants were down around his ankles.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Well, I don't want to get into I don't want
- 26:27Speaker 2: to just on the very off chance that he's listening,
- 26:30Speaker 2: I don't want to embarrass him, and so I'm trying
- 26:33Speaker 2: to I'm trying to lift him up and he and
- 26:37Speaker 2: I don't know if you guys know this, but I
- 26:39Speaker 2: did wait because he couldn't help me. It's really hard
- 26:44Speaker 2: to lift. And I was like, oh my god. And
- 26:49Speaker 2: his wife was looking at me and she said, do
- 26:52Speaker 2: I know you? You've got a very familiar face, and I went,
- 26:55Speaker 2: oh god. And then I said, well, no, hold on,
- 27:00Speaker 2: I've just got to go and get my wife because
- 27:02Speaker 2: I can't lift him up by myself and he's still
- 27:04Speaker 2: iffing and Jeff and I'm doing a bit of a
- 27:06Speaker 2: mogi in the corner there. So I went and got
- 27:09Speaker 2: my wife. When we came back, there was a bus
- 27:12Speaker 2: driver there who was obviously going wheeze as well before
- 27:15Speaker 2: he drove.
- 27:15Speaker 7: The bus at the Faery terminal at the.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Faery terminal, and he was trying to left him up,
- 27:21Speaker 2: and then I was trying to lift him up, and
- 27:23Speaker 2: my wife was also trying to help lift him up
- 27:26Speaker 2: and sort of pulling up pens and stuff like that.
- 27:29Speaker 2: And while we're ifing and Jeff and trying to lift
- 27:31Speaker 2: him up, the wife was like, you're an actor, aren't you?
- 27:34Speaker 2: I've seen you on the TV. And I'm going, you know, oh, yeah, no,
- 27:39Speaker 2: I've done a bit of acting and stuff, and and
- 27:43Speaker 2: he's ifing and Jeff and and then this woman says
- 27:48Speaker 2: says to me, so what would I have seen you in?
- 27:51Speaker 2: And I was like, I've been on a fair amount
- 27:54Speaker 2: of stuff, ifing and Jeff and trying to lift this
- 27:56Speaker 2: guy up and turn of paint though that he's just grunting.
- 28:01Speaker 2: He's just gonna sort of. And then she turns to
- 28:05Speaker 2: my wife because I'm not giving her a satisfactory answer,
- 28:08Speaker 2: and she's like, so, what would I have seen your husband?
- 28:12Speaker 2: And what's he been in? And she was like, oh,
- 28:14Speaker 2: he's been in a lot of stuff, you know, so
- 28:16Speaker 2: it's what you could have seen him on anything. And
- 28:19Speaker 2: then she turned your attention back to me and was like,
- 28:22Speaker 2: so what is it that I've seen you in? Because
- 28:23Speaker 2: I never forget a face And I was like, oh, no,
- 28:25Speaker 2: broken wood or something like that. We finally get him
- 28:29Speaker 2: up pants or sort of sorted out. He's leaning against
- 28:33Speaker 2: the wall and his wife goes, I told you you
- 28:37Speaker 2: should have brought your if and kay walking your crutch,
- 28:41Speaker 2: and he said, I didn't bring my Eff and crutch
- 28:43Speaker 2: what was against the wall. And then she was like well,
- 28:48Speaker 2: and she said something else and I had to laugh
- 28:50Speaker 2: because he went, h here we if and go here
- 28:56Speaker 2: we if and gays, she's going to have a go
- 28:58Speaker 2: at me, and he was just happening and puffing. And
- 29:01Speaker 2: then she turned to me again. I was so, what
- 29:02Speaker 2: have you been in again? And I was like, I
- 29:06Speaker 2: don't know. I'm sorry, but as your husband, all okay,
- 29:09Speaker 2: and ah, he'll be fine. He's just a stupid old
- 29:11Speaker 2: bugger blah blah blah blah blah. And then the fairy arrived.
- 29:15Speaker 2: That was my drama. Fellows, that's good.
- 29:17Speaker 7: Yeah, that's a hell of a yarn.
- 29:18Speaker 6: Jays, did you think to yourself, man far out, not
- 29:22Speaker 6: too long to live? The old howdy joy on his knees.
- 29:24Speaker 6: I did actually in a public toilet yet again?
- 29:27Speaker 7: Yeah, so did did you go? Wheeze?
- 29:30Speaker 2: No, I'd forgotten. Then I was bustling all the way
- 29:32Speaker 2: on the fair.
- 29:33Speaker 7: Amen. It would have been broken with mysteries though, right who.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Knows, Keezy, I mean, my career is extensively it could
- 29:40Speaker 2: have been anything.
- 29:41Speaker 7: Oh god, ac DC, yeah why not?
- 29:44Speaker 1: The hierarchy big show was Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Tune in four on radio Talking Heads here on the
- 29:51Speaker 2: radio Hodarchy Big Show this Tuesday afternoon. The time is
- 29:55Speaker 2: five twenty eight. Let's have some sport chat.
- 30:06Speaker 7: Sports.
- 30:08Speaker 6: That's how we sport it.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Man, what do we want to start with? Fellers? Maybe
- 30:12Speaker 2: the cricket. Sure, I'm finally getting a win for the
- 30:15Speaker 2: black Caps there after what's been a terribly wet cricket
- 30:20Speaker 2: season thus far. Why they're thinking of playing cricket now,
- 30:23Speaker 2: God only knows. The first one day that was Thinkers
- 30:26Speaker 2: at the Bay Oval it was and the black Caps
- 30:28Speaker 2: overcoming and Forks I think it was fourth. A young fella.
- 30:34Speaker 2: He looks a good prospect.
- 30:36Speaker 7: It was pretty crazy.
- 30:37Speaker 3: They're right because the English scorecard was at Harry Brooks
- 30:40Speaker 3: got one hundred and thirty five of their run, yes,
- 30:42Speaker 3: and then Jamie Overson got forty six. Everyone else was
- 30:45Speaker 3: in single digits.
- 30:46Speaker 6: Yeah, from my understanding. Extras were the third top scorer
- 30:49Speaker 6: and also a royal golden duck. Oh yeah, a wicket
- 30:54Speaker 6: with the first ball of the Indians Mad Henry, which
- 30:57Speaker 6: is it's a bit of a rarity.
- 30:59Speaker 7: Also Oka was gone for gold duck.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Yes, he did one.
- 31:02Speaker 7: So very interesting Test match.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I was watching it through one day.
- 31:05Speaker 7: Oh sorry, yeah, one day I was watching it in
- 31:07Speaker 7: a sort of haze at a pub in christ Church. Yeah,
- 31:10Speaker 7: those things happening.
- 31:11Speaker 2: I actually had to download the TVNZ Plus app and
- 31:14Speaker 2: watch it on that in the hotel room there for
- 31:17Speaker 2: a while, right, and old Mitchell staring us home in
- 31:21Speaker 2: the end of pretty comfortable victory. So good stuff to
- 31:23Speaker 2: the black Caps.
- 31:24Speaker 3: That's why I believe the next one is tomorrow two
- 31:26Speaker 3: o'clock in the Absolutely a bit of rugby league on
- 31:29Speaker 3: there as well.
- 31:30Speaker 6: Keezy, did you watch the more Tonga.
- 31:32Speaker 3: Game Tonga versus tas Moore.
- 31:36Speaker 7: No I didn't.
- 31:37Speaker 3: I spent a lot of the weekend either responsibly steamed
- 31:41Speaker 3: or recovering from Yeah. Now, what I did see, which
- 31:45Speaker 3: I was thrilled to hear, was that twenty three people.
- 31:47Speaker 7: Were arrested after the victory.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Yes, because this game was played over in Brisbon at Suncourt,
- 31:52Speaker 3: very weird, but in the South Auckland area, which is
- 31:55Speaker 3: if you have ever watched an international rugby league game
- 31:57Speaker 3: at Mount Smart and then driven up that Mount Smart road,
- 32:01Speaker 3: it is brilliant. Yes, and twenty three people were arrested
- 32:04Speaker 3: and I was like, oh no, they've ruined it for
- 32:05Speaker 3: everyone how weever, and I'm not saying it's okay. It
- 32:07Speaker 3: was for doing stuff like burnouts and for having people
- 32:11Speaker 3: sitting on the top of.
- 32:12Speaker 6: On the roof of the cap, for people having the
- 32:15Speaker 6: best time of their life. It wasn't any fights or
- 32:18Speaker 6: anything drunk or anything like that. So how good it
- 32:20Speaker 6: was awesome?
- 32:21Speaker 3: Can I ask fellows who won tours some more absolutely
- 32:25Speaker 3: white floor of the tongue. Unfortunately, that does mean that
- 32:28Speaker 3: some more will be taking on the kiwis this weekend
- 32:31Speaker 3: on the Sunday there six o'clock.
- 32:33Speaker 2: And that's is that the final? Yeah, it's Sydney.
- 32:38Speaker 3: It's a Pacific Cup and you've also got the Pacific
- 32:41Speaker 3: Bowl on as well with Fiji and p and G
- 32:43Speaker 3: and the Cook Islands too.
- 32:44Speaker 7: It's very confusing. Yeah, not a big enough window.
- 32:46Speaker 6: Yeah, it's my my preference honestly, because I think the
- 32:51Speaker 6: n RL season goes for far too long. I think
- 32:53Speaker 6: they should just be one round, seventeen rounds, you know,
- 32:58Speaker 6: seventeen rounds each other. Once you play each other once,
- 33:01Speaker 6: that is it, then are straight into finals and then
- 33:03Speaker 6: there's heaps of time for Origin. There's heaps of time
- 33:06Speaker 6: for international like.
- 33:06Speaker 3: A proper international two month window would be awesome. It
- 33:09Speaker 3: would because it is weird the key we would have
- 33:11Speaker 3: played like twice and.
- 33:12Speaker 6: It's also as too much rugby league for the players
- 33:15Speaker 6: as well, because they must be completely over it by
- 33:17Speaker 6: this point of the season and then they've got to
- 33:18Speaker 6: go straight into pre season a lot of them for
- 33:20Speaker 6: next year.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Yeah, good stuff. Parker versus Wardley Wardley, yeah good watched
- 33:26Speaker 2: a bit of that fight. Parker looked actually pretty good
- 33:28Speaker 2: as jab was very efficient. It was a to and
- 33:32Speaker 2: fro battle, but after ten rounds you'd say that Parker
- 33:35Speaker 2: was winning that fight on points. And then a very
- 33:38Speaker 2: controversial stop it yes, where he was getting his beat
- 33:42Speaker 2: from Wardley. The referee jumped in and said we're done
- 33:45Speaker 2: here Fellers and a lot of people saying it was
- 33:48Speaker 2: way too it was pretty ejaculative.
- 33:50Speaker 6: Not really, Yes, that was too early, and yeah, I
- 33:54Speaker 6: mean you want to see a guy go how much
- 33:56Speaker 6: he's gotten to the team. It might have been I
- 33:57Speaker 6: think it was the eleventh It might have been eleventh round,
- 33:59Speaker 6: but anyway, Yeah, it can't win them all, and Parker
- 34:01Speaker 6: has been going bloody great guns of late USC three
- 34:06Speaker 6: point twenty one over the weekend as well, the title
- 34:09Speaker 6: fight being Espinal versus Cyril Gain. Been waiting a long
- 34:13Speaker 6: time for this one, as Espinaul has been waiting to
- 34:16Speaker 6: fight John Jones, who's been ducking him for about a
- 34:18Speaker 6: year and a half. So Espinal finally gets a fight
- 34:21Speaker 6: after must be close to two years year and a half,
- 34:23Speaker 6: two years, and then in the first round, Gain does
- 34:27Speaker 6: a double eye poke, both fingers deep inside aspinall's eye
- 34:32Speaker 6: sockets and that's the end of the fight. It goes
- 34:35Speaker 6: for about two and a half minutes and then gets
- 34:36Speaker 6: called off. So that was, Yeah, it was an absolute ripper.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Let's tell you, I'm assuming that doing that's illegal.
- 34:43Speaker 6: It's a no contius, that's right, and Gain's got a
- 34:46Speaker 6: history of doing it. He's always trying his hands out.
- 34:48Speaker 6: Why you throw your hands out fingers first, I don't
- 34:50Speaker 6: know what you're meant to be doing with that. It's
- 34:51Speaker 6: a dirty tactic in my opinion, and I think he
- 34:54Speaker 6: should be fined heavily for that.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Also, a quick shout out to the Silver Ferns who
- 35:00Speaker 3: it's like it feels like months of drama with their
- 35:03Speaker 3: coach knowledge. He finally got reinstated and there's been all
- 35:08Speaker 3: this trama going on, then the funds decide to absolutely
- 35:10Speaker 3: destroy Aussie over the weekend as well.
- 35:12Speaker 7: So I don't know what the hell's going on over there.
- 35:14Speaker 7: It's very confusing. Jason, I'm not happy, but we'll take
- 35:17Speaker 7: the wind. We will, man.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Yes, your wife must have been stoked.
- 35:21Speaker 7: Oh yeah, The.

- 39:38Speaker 3: Anonymous is a bloody fabulous person. We've got two girls together,
- 39:42Speaker 3: and here is an awesome dad to my two girls
- 39:45Speaker 3: from a previous relationship.
- 39:46Speaker 7: Too, been together for seven years.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Only thing is he's a type PreK and doesn't have
- 39:50Speaker 3: any cash.
- 39:51Speaker 2: So yeah, you know what I'm noticing is it's a
- 39:55Speaker 2: lot of women that are saying, come on, fellows, get
- 39:57Speaker 2: your act together.
- 39:58Speaker 6: It sounds like I don't know, man, Yeah, is it?
- 40:02Speaker 6: What it is?

- 40:17Speaker 4: Loll.
- 40:17Speaker 3: His excuse is that he has broken can't afford it.
- 40:19Speaker 3: But I loves spending his money on cars, so if
- 40:22Speaker 3: I win, he'll have no excuse.
- 40:23Speaker 6: Yeah, you have no excuse, that's for sure.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Yeah, Hodaki, Dokodo and z you get yourself in the
- 40:29Speaker 3: drawer there when yourself that diamond.
- 40:30Speaker 6: It's a bloody ripper And as they say, Jason, I
- 40:32Speaker 6: don't know if you've heard about this, Kezy, but they
- 40:34Speaker 6: say you have got to be in to win.
- 40:36Speaker 7: Men, I have heard that before.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I think.
- 40:40Speaker 3: You did like four years ago and asked me to
- 40:42Speaker 3: write it down about ten times.
- 40:44Speaker 6: See it coming handy now, isn't it?
- 40:45Speaker 7: It certainly has.

- 41:10Speaker 7: Is it well? I guess text us on three four
- 41:13Speaker 7: eight three?
- 41:13Speaker 3: What are you having for dinner? Retext that comes through

- 42:00Speaker 2: Let us know what's on your dinner plate tonight? You
- 42:03Speaker 2: were saying, Keezy, you're having a redo tonight of a
- 42:07Speaker 2: foul curry you had last night.
- 42:10Speaker 3: By the way, every text on three for three in
- 42:12Speaker 3: the drawer for Reburger fifty dollars out you so worth doing? Yeah,
- 42:16Speaker 3: we cooked a carry We had one of those auder
- 42:18Speaker 3: box things. You know, there's several of them. I don't
- 42:20Speaker 3: want to say which one it was. Curry arrives. It's
- 42:22Speaker 3: like ten times the size of a meal for two,
- 42:25Speaker 3: and it is pretty tasteless, right, and so now I've
- 42:28Speaker 3: just got a crap load of rice and a crapload
- 42:30Speaker 3: of leftover curry that tastes like nothing.
- 42:33Speaker 6: Sure, that's the issue.
- 42:34Speaker 7: It tastes like nothing.
- 42:35Speaker 6: Did you try to putting some salt on it.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and some saucers.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Maybe put extra curry paste in it. We did everything
- 42:41Speaker 3: we could mantle chili flake.
- 42:44Speaker 7: Nah it was good.
- 42:45Speaker 6: Oh was it good?
- 42:46Speaker 2: Nah?
- 42:46Speaker 7: It was bad. It was bad.
- 42:48Speaker 6: It sucked.
- 42:49Speaker 7: So that's what I'm having for dinner in New Zealand.
- 42:50Speaker 2: So does that mean that you're absolutely because I need
- 42:56Speaker 2: to know that you're having a good dinner keys And
- 42:58Speaker 2: I don't like it when I hear that you you
- 43:00Speaker 2: hate the dinner you're having. And so do you have
- 43:02Speaker 2: to commit to it?
- 43:03Speaker 3: I know, and I don't because there's only one portion
- 43:06Speaker 3: of it left. My wife is at squash tonight, so
- 43:08Speaker 3: I'll probably be cooking another one of the meals from
- 43:11Speaker 3: said food box.
- 43:12Speaker 2: You don't have any nuggies, No.
- 43:13Speaker 7: I wish I had nuggies.
- 43:14Speaker 6: Oh man, So.
- 43:16Speaker 7: I think I will be making chicken raps or something.
- 43:18Speaker 6: So you'll be having chicken raps. And then when she
- 43:19Speaker 6: gets home, O y sounds a good deal to me.
- 43:23Speaker 3: I'll hey, hey, Babey microwaved it for you.

- 44:23Speaker 3: it's from Tony Scott.
- 44:25Speaker 7: Um.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Baby gets evo and tuna. Parents get burgers and chips.
- 44:30Speaker 6: Okay, go again? What go again?
- 44:35Speaker 2: Uh?
- 44:36Speaker 3: Baby it gets evo and tuna. Okay, parents get burgers
- 44:39Speaker 3: and chips.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Yeah, hay, burgers and chips last night.
- 44:42Speaker 6: I'm not keen on that.
- 44:43Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Good baby food though, Maggie, the old o and the tuna.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Good protein. Yeah, I like that. Well, wonder if they
- 44:55Speaker 2: cut the avocado in half and just scoop out the
- 44:58Speaker 2: middle of the tuna in my that.
- 45:01Speaker 6: Oh, that's an idea. The thing is with babies, they've
- 45:05Speaker 6: got to learn how to use their cutlerings. Yes, so
- 45:08Speaker 6: I just check a knife and an EVO on the
- 45:11Speaker 6: old dear high chair there and let them work it
- 45:14Speaker 6: out for themselves.
- 45:15Speaker 2: And if they don't learn, they don't eat.
- 45:18Speaker 7: And like a whole tuna as well, Yeah, a live tuna.
- 45:21Speaker 2: They're going to fill it it.
- 45:23Speaker 7: See that's how you learn. Yeah, that's how I learned. Yeah,

- 46:08Speaker 3: which I can't wait to see again soon.
- 46:10Speaker 6: He's got the runs.
- 46:13Speaker 7: That's that's accidental stuff.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Like a bit of corn flour in there. If you've
- 46:19Speaker 2: got the runs, just thicken her up a bit.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Yeah, good day guys, Leanne.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Here Dalzell.
- 46:29Speaker 6: Leanne.
- 46:30Speaker 3: That's the one line, len Leanne, Good day guys. LeAnn
- 46:35Speaker 3: Leanne here rhymes Leanne rhymes here, homemade chicken pie and
- 46:41Speaker 3: then mini magnums for afters.
- 46:44Speaker 7: I love that sounds like something you have, like a chicken.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Pie as well, So I'm very very fond of a
- 46:50Speaker 2: chicken pie, especially if it's got mushies in it.
- 46:53Speaker 6: Really, I call that a chicken and mushroom pie and some.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Mashed potatoes there. And I'll tell you what my wife
- 47:01Speaker 2: were doing that scenario. She'd insist on streaming some beans.
- 47:05Speaker 7: We always put leak in our do.
- 47:07Speaker 6: You know I'll do that if we get takeaways, burger
- 47:10Speaker 6: and trips or think my wife will make a side
- 47:12Speaker 6: salad or put salad inside the burger. It drives me
- 47:15Speaker 6: out the wall.
- 47:17Speaker 7: Same yeah, yeah, totally wives, eh.
- 47:20Speaker 6: Am I right one more?
- 47:22Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, this comes from Geane Jeanjean yep, Jean Jeanie.

- 47:40Speaker 6: But busy, but there's a lot going on there.
- 47:42Speaker 2: I wouldn't chuck the garlic bread all over your past.
- 47:44Speaker 2: I'd eat it separately.
- 47:46Speaker 7: But you think they're gonna put it on the past.
- 47:48Speaker 2: Sounded like they were.
- 47:49Speaker 3: Yah, Yeah, yeah, I for a fe Reburger bouches up
- 47:52Speaker 3: for grabs. So keep those texts coming in and we'll

- 48:54Speaker 6: I do. Because there's a certain way that they marinate them.
- 48:57Speaker 6: Did they marinate them?
- 48:58Speaker 4: Oh?
- 48:58Speaker 7: Yeah, for me, they didn't. They were just there on
- 49:00Speaker 7: the vine and I just pluck them off.
- 49:02Speaker 2: You just bet them off?
- 49:04Speaker 7: Sure did.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Hey.

- 51:28Speaker 2: that's what he said, and old HODJ had to clarify.
- 51:32Speaker 7: What did he say?
- 51:33Speaker 2: I don't want to talk about it, Kezy because I.
- 51:35Speaker 7: Didn't get it. Allison Chaine's nutshell nutshell?
- 51:40Speaker 1: How appropriate The Hierarchy Big Show week days from four

- 51:55Speaker 6: Six at dot com.
- 52:00Speaker 7: In Touch with the Failers.
- 52:03Speaker 3: It's a really email addressed Meet PATTINIPS sixty nine at
- 52:05Speaker 3: gmail dot com. If you ask us a question and

- 52:15Speaker 3: This comes from Anonymous Fellers. Get a guys. Anonymous here.
- 52:19Speaker 3: I'm fifteen years old and have just secured a job
- 52:23Speaker 3: for the summer over the school holidays and study leave. Yeah,
- 52:27Speaker 3: I'm going to be doing some local grunt work at
- 52:29Speaker 3: my golf club. I would love some advice from you
- 52:32Speaker 3: fellers on how to conduct myself and make sure the
- 52:35Speaker 3: greenkeepers still wants to hire me again next year. Any
- 52:38Speaker 3: advice would be great, and I would love Hoidy Jay's advice,
- 52:41Speaker 3: especially as he spends more time playing golf.
- 52:44Speaker 7: Than on the radio. Cheers Anonymous, it's a good question.
- 52:49Speaker 2: How old for thirteen? Well, that's really good for a start.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Good on your young feeler for getting out there. Just
- 52:56Speaker 2: work really hard, that's my advice for you. Just complain
- 53:00Speaker 2: about anything, do what you're told, listen to what they're
- 53:04Speaker 2: telling you, and if there's nothing going on, then make
- 53:08Speaker 2: sure that you ask is there anything else I can do?
- 53:11Speaker 3: So as do as I say, not as I do.
- 53:13Speaker 3: Situation very much, do the opposite of what exactly. Yeah,
- 53:19Speaker 3: I mean you're doing all the thing. You're doing everything
- 53:23Speaker 3: right outside of asking Jas for his advice, I would say,
- 53:26Speaker 3: exactly specifically.
- 53:28Speaker 2: But yeah, working out there, I mean, how can it
- 53:30Speaker 2: be you're.
- 53:31Speaker 6: Riding along on a golf cart. What else you're doing?
- 53:34Speaker 3: Maybe rap and some lawns, lawns, raking some sand, yes,
- 53:38Speaker 3: I mean finding some balls exactly hard yack or is it?
- 53:42Speaker 7: Well, I mean it's a blood patch of property.
- 53:44Speaker 6: Well yeah, I mean there's a lot of that.
- 53:46Speaker 2: There could be some hard yack you're in there, yeah, yeah.
- 53:50Speaker 6: But you're going to put those steaks in the ground sometimes.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Maybe turf sometimes or something like that, taking sects of
- 53:56Speaker 2: fertilizer and that sort of thing. Lifting and the wear
- 53:59Speaker 2: how stre it's throwing crops. I know, it's a golf course.
- 54:04Speaker 2: They need to maintain the thing, so there will be
- 54:07Speaker 2: a lot of cotural sort of stuff going on, you
- 54:11Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 54:12Speaker 3: Yeah, based on what I've seen from our golf course, Jason,
- 54:15Speaker 3: there's a lot of you driving around on the buggy
- 54:17Speaker 3: with the little tray on the back. Yes, you know,
- 54:20Speaker 3: leaf blowing and trimming and getting the greens immaculate, because
- 54:24Speaker 3: getting on the hammer I don't.
- 54:26Speaker 2: I don't actually think he'll be doing that. I don't
- 54:27Speaker 2: think he'll be touching the greens because that's very much
- 54:30Speaker 2: a greenkeeper's kind of role. It's very specialized.
- 54:33Speaker 6: I see him doing keepers and looks after the whole course,
- 54:36Speaker 6: not just the green fairway keeper.
- 54:40Speaker 2: But I can see I can see him doing what
- 54:42Speaker 2: having to do all the hack work, all the left
- 54:45Speaker 2: and all that sort of stuff.
- 54:46Speaker 6: I think at the top, are you doing.
- 54:50Speaker 7: Like chairman?
- 54:53Speaker 2: Yeah, he could.
- 54:55Speaker 6: I think he's going to be Tiger Woods as candy.
- 54:57Speaker 6: Oh wow, is he still the best golfriend.
- 55:00Speaker 2: Yeah, he's kind of retired now. He's a bit poked physically.
- 55:03Speaker 6: Ah that's racist? Is it seems racist?
- 55:08Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 55:08Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Didn't go so I can't be No, I've just connected
- 55:11Speaker 3: it you. Yeah, good luck for your new job.

- 55:58Speaker 6: You've hed her talk, but I was thinking she'd be
- 56:02Speaker 6: very fun.
- 56:03Speaker 2: Husband and my husband and Christopher and then you in
- 56:07Speaker 2: the background go back by. Well, we're talking about that tomorrow. Incidentally,

- 56:19Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Actually I might be able to get in touch with
- 56:20Speaker 3: someone and track down some audio. It was being filmed
- 56:23Speaker 3: by my mate who's a videographer, right, Probably wouldn't be
- 56:26Speaker 3: hard to get some snippets.
- 56:27Speaker 6: I feel.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Yeah, great stuff. What's your plans tonight, Margie.
- 56:30Speaker 6: Just a little bit of work, a little bit of dinner.
- 56:33Speaker 6: I don't know what I'm going to have. I've got
- 56:34Speaker 6: some leftover carry from last night. Actually not too similar
- 56:38Speaker 6: to you, Kezy, except for the fact that we paid
- 56:40Speaker 6: for it, so it's delicious.
- 56:41Speaker 7: Well, we paid for hours. Yeah, that's not very much.
- 56:45Speaker 7: That's the thing.
- 56:45Speaker 6: I didn't cook mine, so no opportunity to butcher it.
- 56:49Speaker 6: And I don't know. I feel like watching a movie
- 56:51Speaker 6: or something. Man, I don't know. I'll tell you what.
- 56:53Speaker 6: There's a new documentary out on Apple TV, Scorseted.
- 56:58Speaker 2: I know I haven't watched it. I've seen yeah, so
- 57:00Speaker 2: there's five episodes of that.
- 57:01Speaker 6: And there's also been still a documentary about his parents,
- 57:04Speaker 6: so maybe something like that. Have you seen it?
- 57:06Speaker 7: Nah, I haven't watched it, but I've seen it because
- 57:10Speaker 7: that makes it you see. Yes, yeah, I've watched that. Anyway,
- 57:18Speaker 7: what are you doing inside?
- 57:19Speaker 6: Jas? Do you know?
- 57:20Speaker 2: Man?
- 57:20Speaker 7: Do you want to hang out?
- 57:22Speaker 2: Okay? Should I come around to yours and have some
- 57:24Speaker 2: foul carry ah?
- 57:27Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 57:27Speaker 7: No, it's flagged.
- 57:28Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm having for dinner, by the way,
- 57:30Speaker 2: and that concerns me.
- 57:31Speaker 7: If you could come over and take that carry away,
- 57:34Speaker 7: that would be great.
- 57:34Speaker 2: No, I'm not doing it.
- 57:36Speaker 6: You know what you should do?
- 57:36Speaker 2: Kids?
- 57:37Speaker 6: You should take it over to your neighbors. Be it backbone,
- 57:39Speaker 6: give it to them. Hey, guys, I've just been thinking
- 57:42Speaker 6: about you. Guys. I think you're awesome. Just a little
