- 0:01Speaker 1: All right.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Welcome to the What More Can I Say podcast. This
- 0:05Speaker 2: is an episode. We're starting to podcast you, baby.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Ninety-five.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Ninety-five. Fuck you saying?
- 0:12Speaker 3: Ninety-five.
- 0:13Speaker 1: He's saying, I.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Don't even do light skin.
- 0:21Speaker 1: All right.
- 0:21Speaker 3: We don't have to go that far.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I went so far. Thank you.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Uh, sorry guys, we're getting ready to start the podcast now.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Let's start again. Hey, welcome to the What What Can
- 0:30Speaker 2: I Say podcast.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Woo woo.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I am one of your hosts, Tom Capone.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Woo woo.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Woo woo. They are grossing me out right now, but
- 0:37Speaker 1: it's okay.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Uh, shout out to Kiki, the fluffy and fine, God
- 0:43Speaker 2: is good hat wearing lady. Woo woo.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Woo woo.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Hey y'all.
- 0:47Speaker 1: All the time.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Come on, and all the time.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Woo woo.
- 0:50Speaker 3: God is good.
- 0:51Speaker 1: That's it. The bob shake. Okay, cool.
- 0:55Speaker 3: It's a little stiff.
- 0:57Speaker 1: It shook a little bit. The right one did.
- 1:00Speaker 2: And the funny man of the pod who we can't
- 1:02Speaker 2: tell you who made a hilarious joke at the beginning
- 1:04Speaker 2: of the pod. It would seem like we were hating
- 1:06Speaker 2: if we did that.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Zach, what's up?
- 1:10Speaker 3: Well, he was talking about Meg Thee Stallion, y'all, just
- 1:12Speaker 3: so y'all know. I don't like leaving the pod fam out.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Because we were talking about it.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Just to give you some context, pod fam, is that
- 1:20Speaker 2: we were talking about Meg Thee Stallion. And an album
- 1:23Speaker 2: rolled out, and everybody, are we excited about the album
- 1:26Speaker 2: or not? And Zach said that a lot of her
- 1:29Speaker 2: songs sound like, what's that?
- 1:30Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Every song. Then you go to track two. Yeah,
- 1:46Speaker 1: I'm in the streets, and I'm in the cab. Everybody know,
- 1:51Speaker 1: gotta hit it right now. I hate him. You be like.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Oh, them two songs sound alike. Wonder what track three
- 1:58Speaker 4: sound like. Put it in a set, cause it sound
- 2:03Speaker 4: like track two.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you heard the thing, cause I'm ready to tune.
- 2:12Speaker 3: You see, like, y'all just.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Man, she be looking good in her videos. She fine
- 2:16Speaker 1: as hell. But the songs be so.
- 2:18Speaker 2: The songs have not matched the fineness. Cardi B's fine.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Her songs match her fineness. It just hasn't, you know,
- 2:29Speaker 2: it just hasn't hit for her. And Meg, and I
- 2:33Speaker 2: know somebody might send it to her, he's a comedian.
- 2:36Speaker 2: He's cracking jokes. We sorry. But we do want greatness
- 2:41Speaker 2: for you. And I think you got to go see Pharrell.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Ain't she signed to Roc Nation?
- 2:46Speaker 1: Everybody can't go see Pharrell.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Now, hold on.
- 2:49Speaker 1: She got to go see Pharrell.
- 2:51Speaker 3: No, you don't.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Why not?
- 2:52Speaker 3: Because that ain't the problem. The beat was never the problem.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 2:57Speaker 4: Because if she don't have the same flow, it don't matter.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Y'all are immature. Carl Timberlake, I'm Pharrell, don't matter. Because
- 3:06Speaker 1: I'm still going to rap like this. Y'all are immature.
- 3:11Speaker 4: You have the same cadence for every song. Everybody got
- 3:15Speaker 4: the same cadence, though.
- 3:16Speaker 2: That's the problem right now in hip-hop. Everybody, and that's
- 3:19Speaker 2: the thing that I laugh when people try to talk
- 3:21Speaker 2: about Jay-Z and they go, the old dude, nobody cares
- 3:23Speaker 2: about the old dude. The old dude can rap his
- 3:25Speaker 2: face off. And the crazy thing is his records are
- 3:27Speaker 2: still good today. And the fact that everybody sounds alike,
- 3:31Speaker 2: that's the thing. Everybody sounds alike and they're not making songs.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Y'all need to listen to Go back and listen to
- 3:38Speaker 2: anybody from the early 2000s, late 90s, and listen how
- 3:44Speaker 2: the album would change. If you listen to a Big album,
- 3:47Speaker 2: Big's not rapping like I'm Bonin Biggie, the Notorious Thugs.
- 3:53Speaker 1: He's rapping like Bone Thugs and Harmony. What's beef?
- 3:56Speaker 2: He changed it to another cadence. And then More Money,
- 3:59Speaker 2: More Problems, it's another cadence. Y'all got to go back, bro.
- 4:05Speaker 3: They need to let, like we talked about yesterday, is
- 4:09Speaker 3: get with the right producer and let somebody produce your
- 4:11Speaker 3: vocals and your delivery sometimes. Like Cardi B has found
- 4:15Speaker 3: her vibe as far as when she get a record,
- 4:18Speaker 3: she knows how to deliver the words. And, you know,
- 4:20Speaker 3: shout out to Ghostwriters Party who dated Megan. And, you know, maybe,
- 4:26Speaker 3: you know, he does a great job with women in
- 4:29Speaker 3: records and stuff like that. So I think it just
- 4:32Speaker 3: needs to be more of a collaborative effort.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I mean, Cardi B, you hear one cadence.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Yes.
- 4:38Speaker 2: It doesn't sound like another song. Every song has its
- 4:41Speaker 2: own vibe to it.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Right. If you go through her album. And that's what
- 4:45Speaker 1: I guess we're saying for Meg.
- 4:46Speaker 2: We want you to have a song that has different
- 4:50Speaker 2: vibes throughout the album.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Like a song with a hook, like a fire hook.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Yeah, like get like a Kehlani to sing something. And
- 5:01Speaker 2: you give us a different cadence. Yeah, with Kehlani, it
- 5:04Speaker 2: don't even matter.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Don't do it.
- 5:07Speaker 4: We gonna be tired of that. She's got her fan base.
- 5:11Speaker 4: She got people who like it. It may not be
- 5:15Speaker 4: just for us.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Okay. But we're sorry. I'm sorry for him. He's just crazy.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I'm not. All right. It was funny, though.
- 5:24Speaker 5: It was funny.
- 5:24Speaker 1: It was funny. I'm not gonna lie.
- 5:26Speaker 2: The continuation of the Chris Brown vs. ex Diamond Brown.
- 5:31Speaker 2: She also went on IG Live yesterday to discuss Chris
- 5:35Speaker 2: and the other mothers of his children who spoke out
- 5:37Speaker 2: in his defense.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Now, Kiki, have you tapped into this at all?
- 5:43Speaker 3: Now, you know I tapped into the mess. I saw
- 5:46Speaker 3: Diamond do a live last night. She wasn't saying much
- 5:49Speaker 3: or nothing. She was saying that Chris Brown did buy
- 5:53Speaker 3: her a Benz. He brought her a Tesla. He is
- 5:59Speaker 3: currently blocked on her phone, so no, he cannot contact
- 6:02Speaker 3: his child. He sent his manager to come and try
- 6:08Speaker 3: to get the child or figure out some type of
- 6:10Speaker 3: way where he and her could sit down and talk face-to-face.
- 6:13Speaker 3: She didn't want to do that. So he hasn't tried
- 6:17Speaker 3: to get the child since then. So she said in
- 6:20Speaker 3: one breath, and I'm not, you know how I am.
- 6:23Speaker 3: I'm fair. Like, I try to be.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Most times I'm on the woman's side. Thank you.
- 6:28Speaker 3: But after seeing the live, I was like, you're making
- 6:30Speaker 3: it very hard for me to defend you because the
- 6:32Speaker 3: stuff you're saying is stupid. Like, yes, he is blocked
- 6:35Speaker 3: on my phone, but you sent Ant to come ask
- 6:39Speaker 3: me to talk to me before, so do it again. Like,
- 6:42Speaker 3: what are we doing? You know what I'm saying? Like,
- 6:44Speaker 3: it sounded real stupid, real dumb. So, um... You know,
- 6:48Speaker 3: I don't know what this is.
- 6:49Speaker 2: We told everybody yesterday what it was. You cannot win
- 6:54Speaker 2: against a baby mama. She has a child with a
- 6:57Speaker 2: dude that is under Michael Jackson as one of the
- 7:00Speaker 2: best performers ever. And you still beefing with him. What
- 7:06Speaker 2: else you want? A Benz and a Tesla? Yeah, he
- 7:08Speaker 2: bought me a Benz. He bought me a Tesla. Yeah,
- 7:10Speaker 2: he pay all my bills.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yeah, he does everything I want.
- 7:13Speaker 3: She said, you claim you give me $ 10K a month
- 7:16Speaker 3: for the baby. I don't get $ 10K a month for
- 7:18Speaker 3: the baby. But if you maybe unblock him or his team,
- 7:22Speaker 3: they can maybe get you the money.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Come on, Kiki.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Kiki, a Benz, a Tesla... and he not doing nothing else, okay,
- 7:32Speaker 2: it might not be 10K.
- 7:36Speaker 1: It might be 5K. It might be 6K. It might
- 7:39Speaker 1: be whatever, but I'm sure.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Chris Brown is taking care of his kids. If you
- 7:43Speaker 2: the odd person out of all the other three, something
- 7:47Speaker 2: might be wrong in that situation.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Yeah, something may be wrong, but also the other three
- 7:51Speaker 3: was ready to fall in line. And maybe I'm not
- 7:53Speaker 3: going to fall in line. So then we have to
- 7:55Speaker 3: go to court. And I say, let the courts work
- 7:57Speaker 3: it out. If y'all can't come to an agreement, let
- 7:59Speaker 3: the courts work it out. But what she's doing currently,
- 8:01Speaker 3: I think, is only hurting her child, which is having
- 8:04Speaker 3: him blocked and not working out a custody agreement for
- 8:06Speaker 3: him to see the baby. Because at some point, the
- 8:09Speaker 3: baby going to be like, well, he with all my
- 8:11Speaker 3: other siblings. You know what I'm saying? And who don't
- 8:14Speaker 3: want the perks of being Chris Brown's child? Like, don't
- 8:16Speaker 3: hurt your baby. And my thing is, you can hate
- 8:18Speaker 3: him all you want to. Don't hurt your baby, girl.
- 8:20Speaker 3: I'd be sending my baby right on to the door.
- 8:22Speaker 3: And getting all, my baby can have all the benefits
- 8:24Speaker 3: that the other kids get. I think in that regard,
- 8:26Speaker 3: that's where it's like that personal stuff. You so mad
- 8:29Speaker 3: at him personally, you can't work out a custody agreement.
- 8:31Speaker 3: But in her defense, they are in court. So I
- 8:34Speaker 3: think they should let the court sort it out.
- 8:35Speaker 1: But now they're in court.
- 8:36Speaker 4: The thing is, they're in court because he, she's trying
- 8:39Speaker 4: to up the child support, allegedly to $ 45, 000 a month.
- 8:41Speaker 4: So that's all the reason she's in court.
- 8:45Speaker 1: What you need to do, Chris, is just say, you
- 8:47Speaker 1: know what? I got three other kids. F y'all.
- 8:50Speaker 5: No.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Pull a McKnight.
- 8:51Speaker 3: No, don't do that.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Listen, this is the only way you get the reaction
- 8:57Speaker 4: that you want out of women is to say, don't
- 8:59Speaker 4: do nothing.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Just don't do nothing. I'm not going to do anything.
- 9:03Speaker 4: And then they're going to want you to do stuff
- 9:05Speaker 4: and show up for them, and then you'll be able
- 9:07Speaker 4: to see your kid.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I bet you'll be unblocked then. I bet you will.
- 9:10Speaker 1: But when you're trying to reach out and all that,
- 9:12Speaker 1: they make it hard for you. So don't do nothing.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Just stop, Chris.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Be like, don't worry about it. I'll just take care
- 9:16Speaker 4: of my other kids. I got three more, and I'll
- 9:17Speaker 4: make another one.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I'm so triggered. I'll make another one. It's crazy.
- 9:21Speaker 3: That's not the answer.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'll make another one. It is the answer.
- 9:24Speaker 3: No, it's not, Zach.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Here's the thing.
- 9:27Speaker 4: We have to. We got to start doing this, Kiki. No,
- 9:31Speaker 4: we don't. As men, the first thing you should have
- 9:34Speaker 4: done is not had a baby out of wedlock.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 9:37Speaker 1: But we're past that at this point. Once the kid
- 9:40Speaker 1: is here and the baby is gone, now you have
- 9:42Speaker 1: to deal with the cards you have. Yes.
- 9:43Speaker 4: And the best thing to do, don't argue, don't fight, try.
- 9:46Speaker 4: As soon as you get that door slammed in your
- 9:48Speaker 4: face after trying, Make another one. You can either make
- 9:51Speaker 4: another one or you can say F them kids and
- 9:53Speaker 4: then she's going to come to you asking you to
- 9:56Speaker 4: do stuff and then you'll be able to see your kids.
- 9:57Speaker 4: But if you go out there, keep trying and trying
- 9:59Speaker 4: and trying. they're going to make you look like the
- 10:01Speaker 4: bad guy. You're the person that's doing too much. Now
- 10:03Speaker 4: you blocked. I can't believe you.
- 10:05Speaker 1: You're going to always look like the bad guy.
- 10:07Speaker 4: So instead of looking like the bad guy, be the
- 10:09Speaker 4: bad guy.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I don't know about that one. It's funny as hell,
- 10:15Speaker 2: but you got to think about it. Just look at
- 10:16Speaker 2: it from another angle. Look at what we're arguing about.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Look what we're arguing about. We're arguing about seeing the kid.
- 10:26Speaker 2: That is the dumbest argument I've ever heard. I understand
- 10:30Speaker 2: when women be mad when the dad don't want to
- 10:33Speaker 2: see the kid, don't want to have nothing to do
- 10:35Speaker 2: with him, don't want to send no money, don't care
- 10:37Speaker 2: what's going on in the kid's life, don't really even
- 10:41Speaker 2: kind of rock with the kid, really, for real. I
- 10:43Speaker 2: get mamas all day when they dragging dudes for that.
- 10:48Speaker 2: But when the When y'all get into an argument over
- 10:51Speaker 2: something that just, he just want to see what's his.
- 10:54Speaker 1: That's it.
- 10:55Speaker 2: He want to see his kid. That is the, that
- 10:58Speaker 2: is nothing.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Well, we can't ignore her claims of harassment and stalking
- 11:04Speaker 3: and threats.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Yes, that's what happens when you don't let people see
- 11:08Speaker 2: their kids.
- 11:09Speaker 1: They harass them. Hey, can I see my kid? What's
- 11:11Speaker 1: wrong with you?
- 11:12Speaker 2: Hey, I'm going to pull up on you because at
- 11:15Speaker 2: the end of the day, that's your kid.
- 11:17Speaker 1: You trying to pull up on your shorty.
- 11:21Speaker 2: So then you get the stalking thing because I want
- 11:23Speaker 2: to find out what's going on with my shorty. It's
- 11:27Speaker 2: a wild, it's the wildest thing in the world that
- 11:30Speaker 2: we arguing about me just seeing my kid.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Which one's harder, taking care and financially of the kid
- 11:38Speaker 2: or seeing them, coming to spend time with them?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Fight in court or don't fight at all.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 11:44Speaker 1: That is the moral to the story. Yes.
- 11:47Speaker 4: You are going to lose every time you try to
- 11:49Speaker 4: work something out with her because she is not going
- 11:51Speaker 4: to be logical.
- 11:51Speaker 1: She's just not because she's an emotional. Court, you fight
- 11:55Speaker 1: in court, or you don't fight at all. And just
- 11:57Speaker 1: let it be. This nigga flat around. Eventually, the child
- 12:01Speaker 1: is going to find their daddy. I'm here.
- 12:04Speaker 3: That's facts.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I promise you, if I'm Chris Brown, I'd just do
- 12:07Speaker 1: an interview. One interview. Sit down.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Hey, just want to let my little daughter out there know,
- 12:10Speaker 4: I'm here when you're ready. Whenever your mama let you
- 12:12Speaker 4: see me, I'm waiting on that. But I ain't finna
- 12:14Speaker 4: keep going back and forth, or I'll see you in court.
- 12:16Speaker 1: One or the other.
- 12:16Speaker 4: But all this coming, you need to go, when am
- 12:19Speaker 4: I going to get the kids? We going to go
- 12:21Speaker 4: off on Instagram. And Diamond, you the only one to
- 12:23Speaker 4: ask me. Sit back and chill. Let me have another
- 12:27Speaker 4: one out of wedlock. And something go bad? And something
- 12:31Speaker 4: go bad. Y'all going to be like, Zach, where your
- 12:34Speaker 4: other kid?
- 12:34Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know. Oh, my God.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Something is wrong with you. I hit the mama up.
- 12:42Speaker 1: She got me blocked, so I don't know. You know
- 12:44Speaker 1: he triggered.
- 12:44Speaker 2: He told me about something that I was surprised at.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I get why he like this.
- 12:48Speaker 1: He'll be 18. I know. Because sometimes you got to
- 12:51Speaker 1: do this.
- 12:51Speaker 2: I do.
- 12:52Speaker 3: I will never understand why either one of y'all are
- 12:54Speaker 3: like y'all are.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Why not? This is crazy. I'm with me. We take
- 12:57Speaker 1: care of kids. I take care of kids.
- 12:59Speaker 3: I take care of kids. But you're telling men to
- 13:02Speaker 3: abandon their children.
- 13:04Speaker 4: When times get hard. But we both been in the fight.
- 13:08Speaker 4: I've been wrong for 26 years.
- 13:10Speaker 3: It takes two to fight. And I'm telling them to
- 13:12Speaker 3: stop fighting. Y'all ain't innocent.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I've been wrong for 26 years. It do take two
- 13:17Speaker 1: to fight. So what I'm saying is don't fight.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Okay.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I've been wrong longer than niggas been in for life
- 13:23Speaker 2: in prison.
- 13:25Speaker 3: What are you talking about?
- 13:26Speaker 1: How long you been wrong?
- 13:28Speaker 4: 26 years.
- 13:29Speaker 3: You probably have been wrong.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Every time. I was like, oh, man, again? Yeah, it's crazy.
- 13:37Speaker 1: She give me a hard time? Just say F it.
- 13:38Speaker 1: All right, I won't be that in. Hey, I'm trying
- 13:40Speaker 1: to see the kids this weekend.
- 13:41Speaker 5: No.
- 13:42Speaker 1: We got something to do. Okay, don't worry about it. Yeah.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I know one of your brothers that heard about it.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Don't worry about it. You were like, yeah. Don't worry
- 13:51Speaker 1: about it. All right, come on. What time?
- 13:53Speaker 2: No, you know, you got to come next week. We
- 13:56Speaker 2: got something to do. I forgot to tell you.
- 13:57Speaker 1: We got to go. But it's my weekend. No, but
- 14:01Speaker 1: we got something. I tell you what. Don't even worry
- 14:04Speaker 1: about it.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Go to court and get your rights.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Tell him to call me when he's 16. Go get
- 14:07Speaker 1: your rights. You know, the court don't live with them.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Go get your rights.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Who gets your rights.
- 14:12Speaker 3: So you don't abandon your children. Kiki, sometimes the rights
- 14:15Speaker 3: ain't even at the court. They at the court.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Sometimes the rights ain't, the court ain't got your rights.
- 14:19Speaker 3: I don't want to hear it.
- 14:20Speaker 1: They giving it all to the mama.
- 14:21Speaker 4: So I tell you what, when John John is old enough,
- 14:26Speaker 4: come see me.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Okay. Come see me.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Well, it looks like everybody's seeing Mojo Brooks. Congratulations to him.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Mojo Brooks. Yeah, man.
- 14:35Speaker 2: The Netflix special has dropped. I Know You Lyin' is
- 14:39Speaker 2: out today. We got to run those numbers up the
- 14:42Speaker 2: same way we did for a different World Pie fan.
- 14:45Speaker 2: We got to run them up. Hey, man, I haven't
- 14:48Speaker 2: watched it yet because I want to make sure. I
- 14:50Speaker 2: saw it up there. I'm like, no, I need a minute.
- 14:54Speaker 2: I don't want nothing to be in the way of this.
- 14:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:57Speaker 4: I mean, this is really underground comedy. We always talk
- 15:00Speaker 4: about stuff coming from the ground roots up. We always
- 15:02Speaker 4: talk about industry plants and stuff like that. Nah, this
- 15:06Speaker 4: is somebody who put in the work from the beginning,
- 15:09Speaker 4: got a wave, and wrote it.
- 15:11Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? And now has a whole
- 15:13Speaker 1: Netflix special. You know what I'm saying? This ain't no
- 15:16Speaker 1: industry plant.
- 15:16Speaker 4: This ain't no, oh, man, he was just cool with
- 15:19Speaker 4: this person and then got put on.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Nah, this is from the mud.
- 15:23Speaker 4: Okay, of being actually funny day in and day out
- 15:26Speaker 4: and creating that fan base and that demand. So, you know,
- 15:29Speaker 4: not only is Mojo doing it on the stage, he's
- 15:33Speaker 4: selling out. I mean, not only with Netflix, he sells
- 15:36Speaker 4: out everywhere he goes quickly.
- 15:38Speaker 1: So it's a demand to see him. You know what
- 15:41Speaker 1: I'm saying? And that's all you can ask for. It's like,
- 15:43Speaker 1: come on, man. People are dying to see him.
- 15:45Speaker 4: I mean, they was bootlegging this man tickets in certain cities.
- 15:49Speaker 4: He'd be like, You know, people, scalpers grabbing the tickets
- 15:52Speaker 4: and then upping the prices, like $ 3, 000 for a table
- 15:55Speaker 4: to see him. You know what I'm saying? When he's
- 15:57Speaker 4: doing comedy clubs.
- 15:59Speaker 3: And men lie, women lie, but numbers don't. And he
- 16:02Speaker 3: has proven over this time that he has built his
- 16:06Speaker 3: audience up brick by brick.
- 16:08Speaker 4: Also, those people who say, because we watch the comments,
- 16:11Speaker 4: we don't really like to address it. But it's people
- 16:13Speaker 4: who say, oh, yeah, all he do is crowd work.
- 16:15Speaker 4: He's not really funny.
- 16:16Speaker 1: He didn't show his jokes.
- 16:17Speaker 4: He was not showing his jokes because I have a
- 16:20Speaker 4: special coming out. I'm probably working on the next special,
- 16:22Speaker 4: so I'm not going to put the actual material out
- 16:24Speaker 4: because we want it to be an element of surprise
- 16:27Speaker 4: when you watch it on the special.
- 16:29Speaker 1: So, yes, he put crowd work out there.
- 16:31Speaker 4: That's just like an advertisement to let you know I
- 16:34Speaker 4: am funny in real life.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Come see me, right?
- 16:37Speaker 4: So for everybody who said that, go check out the
- 16:39Speaker 4: special and then make a decision whether you think he
- 16:42Speaker 4: funny or not. But don't base it off of clips from.
- 16:48Speaker 1: crowd work clips. That man do way more than crowd work.
- 16:51Speaker 4: You on stage an hour, he's showing you a two-minute
- 16:55Speaker 4: clip and then people be like, oh, that's all he do.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Who cares, though? Even if that was all he do.
- 16:58Speaker 3: He's selling out arenas. He's selling out arenas. You put
- 17:02Speaker 3: four rappers on a ticket, they can't sell out the Wintrust.
- 17:05Speaker 1: That's true.
- 17:05Speaker 3: And Mojo doing it twice.
- 17:07Speaker 1: That's crazy. I didn't think about that. That's true.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Yeah, so, no, like you say, physical sales. And it
- 17:14Speaker 3: shows in the seats.
- 17:15Speaker 1: And it shows. And people.
- 17:17Speaker 3: who build their fan bases like this, stay around a
- 17:19Speaker 3: long time.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So, yeah.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Yeah, when you're selling out arenas like that and you
- 17:23Speaker 2: got people back-to-back shows like that, two sellout shows, that
- 17:28Speaker 2: shows you, right?
- 17:29Speaker 1: That just shows you what he's got.
- 17:30Speaker 2: When people come out to see you, just imagine the
- 17:33Speaker 2: millions of people that have tapped in with you. He's
- 17:35Speaker 2: done a world tour. He's been overseas. People come see him.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Just a super talent. And I want everybody, the pod fam,
- 17:43Speaker 2: to check out. I don't like saying nothing about other podcasts.
- 17:46Speaker 2: I don't mind it, but... Drink Champs, watch Drink Champs.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I don't know if Norrie was tapped into Mojo. I
- 17:52Speaker 1: don't know if he was.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I watched that interview, and I could tell Mojo was
- 17:58Speaker 2: correcting him a lot of times, like, no, like this. Like,
- 18:00Speaker 2: you know, he maybe wasn't even tapped in as much
- 18:04Speaker 2: even in Chicago, how dope Chicago is, which, again, New
- 18:10Speaker 2: York has its pride.
- 18:11Speaker 1: We have our pride.
- 18:12Speaker 2: So I don't expect everybody to be tapped in, but
- 18:14Speaker 2: it just– I like the way Mojo handled that interview.
- 18:17Speaker 1: It was a really good interview. Dope. I got to
- 18:20Speaker 1: check that one out. Yeah. Shout out to him. All right, man.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Let's go ahead and speak of the interviews. Da Vinci.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Da Vinci. That's how you say it? Da Vinci.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Da Vinci.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Was believing that, well, he had a story about believing
- 18:34Speaker 2: that Americans have been lazy and incompetent for a really
- 18:37Speaker 2: long time.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Now, I think this is from the interview he did
- 18:39Speaker 1: with Cam Newton, I think.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Yes.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:41Speaker 2: All right.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Let's take a listen.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Damson, Idris, so many others that have that have landed
- 18:49Speaker 5: these massive American or portraying American characters as an American yourself,
- 18:54Speaker 5: which has roots to, you know, Haitian descent.
- 18:58Speaker 1: But another thing, too, I'm not going to lie.
- 19:00Speaker 6: I do think the work ethic of Americans is one
- 19:04Speaker 6: that people in a higher position, it's hard for them
- 19:08Speaker 6: to trust it. Humans are becoming like more incompetent. And
- 19:12Speaker 6: America is like producing, like we baby our kids. I mean,
- 19:17Speaker 6: you got people that's 25, 30, 35. Like, I mean,
- 19:20Speaker 6: these are kids. They can't do their own laundry. For me,
- 19:23Speaker 6: I'm fortunate. I was born here, but my parents aren't
- 19:25Speaker 6: from here. My grandma raised me. She didn't speak English.
- 19:27Speaker 6: So at home was Haiti. And in the real world,
- 19:30Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying? Then it was like America.
- 19:32Speaker 6: But I had like work ethic. I was determined. Like
- 19:34Speaker 6: I started, I could take care of myself like fully
- 19:37Speaker 6: at like eight years old. But in America, no shade
- 19:39Speaker 6: to you guys, the way the culture, culture have like
- 19:42Speaker 6: moved majority of its citizens. It's like, you're just incompetent
- 19:45Speaker 6: for a really long time.
- 19:49Speaker 1: It's an interesting take. An interesting take. Don't like it.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Don't like it.
- 19:55Speaker 3: What you don't like?
- 19:56Speaker 2: I just think, one, I think when he talks about,
- 20:00Speaker 2: you know, Damson Idris and the people from all across
- 20:02Speaker 2: the pond, one, they're skilled actors, super skilled actors, but
- 20:06Speaker 2: I want to let Da Vinci know that The world
- 20:09Speaker 2: hates black Americans.
- 20:10Speaker 1: They hate black people, but they hate black Americans. They hate.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I think the level of hate for black Americans is crazy.
- 20:20Speaker 2: It's a crazy thing that let's start right there. And
- 20:24Speaker 2: then I do think when you say I do agree
- 20:27Speaker 2: with him, I say as Americans, we have started to
- 20:31Speaker 2: coddle our kids. You know, there's the Participations Awards and
- 20:35Speaker 2: there's all these different things.
- 20:37Speaker 1: I do think there's a level of softness in there. Oh,
- 20:39Speaker 1: we soft as hell. Softness in there.
- 20:42Speaker 2: As far as like family structure and the family structure.
- 20:47Speaker 2: And then on the other side of it, to the
- 20:49Speaker 2: end of what he was saying is that I do
- 20:52Speaker 2: want to say that black Americans, well, I'm going to
- 21:00Speaker 2: say that.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Y'all go ahead. Y'all jump in. All right. Well, I
- 21:03Speaker 1: don't know what you're saving it for. Like you always
- 21:05Speaker 1: trying to like, You're like, I'm going to say this.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Because I want to hear y'all comments so I can
- 21:10Speaker 2: kind of get my stuff together.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Okay.
- 21:12Speaker 3: You can figure out how you want to disagree.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 21:14Speaker 1: No, I don't really want to disagree. I'll just say this.
- 21:16Speaker 2: As black Americans, I do feel like, and I'm going
- 21:19Speaker 2: to end up making y'all right because y'all always be like,
- 21:21Speaker 2: the system started.
- 21:23Speaker 1: All of this.
- 21:24Speaker 2: It was the systems that started this. But I do
- 21:26Speaker 2: think at any level y'all are right at some point.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I think as black Americans, well, we're not together like,
- 21:33Speaker 2: we once were. I think that we look at each
- 21:36Speaker 2: other more as enemies instead of brothers and sisters. It's
- 21:41Speaker 2: ops instead of brothers and sisters. Like, man, it was
- 21:43Speaker 2: a time when you saw another black person.
- 21:46Speaker 1: On the street. You nodded. Hey, what's up?
- 21:49Speaker 2: Because you know, it wasn't a lot of us in
- 21:51Speaker 2: these areas. You know, a lot of times now we just,
- 21:54Speaker 2: we acting like others. It's so funny because we're like
- 21:57Speaker 2: that until we around a bunch of other people. Then
- 22:00Speaker 2: we dying to see a black person. Oh, brother, good
- 22:02Speaker 2: to see you. Because, you know what I'm saying? Like,
- 22:04Speaker 2: it's funny how we are in that way. Like, distrustful
- 22:07Speaker 2: in certain areas.
- 22:08Speaker 4: And then in other areas, we're like, I just wish
- 22:09Speaker 4: there was some black people around here. Where are the
- 22:11Speaker 4: black people at? Where's the black spots to go hang out?
- 22:13Speaker 4: I want to be around it. So it's kind of weird.
- 22:15Speaker 4: We got to figure that out. But to his point,
- 22:18Speaker 4: I agree with the aspect of us coddling our kids
- 22:22Speaker 4: and being weak towards them and soft towards them. Noah, yesterday, says...
- 22:29Speaker 4: So he's going over his spelling words. I was like, okay,
- 22:31Speaker 4: you know, you got your spelling words.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Boom.
- 22:33Speaker 4: The people who came over to do the house, you know,
- 22:35Speaker 4: for my house and stuff, I had to get them
- 22:36Speaker 4: a check. So they came over and I was picking
- 22:39Speaker 4: stuff and I was like, Noah, keep doing those spelling words.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Keep talking. He has to say the word, spell it,
- 22:45Speaker 4: say the word again, then go to the next one.
- 22:48Speaker 4: But he's got them in front of him. So I'm
- 22:49Speaker 4: having him do that. I'm listening while I'm also doing that.
- 22:51Speaker 4: So I'm like, I hear him. As soon as we
- 22:53Speaker 4: stopped talking, he say, daddy, I gotta, can I, I
- 22:56Speaker 4: gotta keep going. I said, yes, you're supposed to do this.
- 22:58Speaker 1: For 20 minutes. You got 10 more minutes. He did
- 23:00Speaker 1: it again. Okay. He go it again. Daddy, I still
- 23:03Speaker 1: got to keep going? Yes, Noah, you still got to
- 23:05Speaker 1: keep going. Then he says, Daddy. What?
- 23:09Speaker 5: No.
- 23:10Speaker 1: My stomach hurt. I said, your stomach hurt?
- 23:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I said, why your stomach hurt? He said, I think
- 23:17Speaker 1: it's the index cards.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha.
- 23:25Speaker 1: That boy's smart. And it was his face. I think
- 23:30Speaker 1: it's the index card. Oh, that's so funny. I said,
- 23:33Speaker 1: so the index card, does your stomach hurt?
- 23:35Speaker 4: I was like, it don't hurt when you play with
- 23:37Speaker 4: your iPad. I've never, your stomach is fine when you
- 23:39Speaker 4: play with your iPad. If I told you to put
- 23:41Speaker 4: that TV on, it would be fine. No, you've got
- 23:45Speaker 4: five more minutes on these index cards. And then I
- 23:48Speaker 4: got my phone out and I put the timer on.
- 23:51Speaker 4: And I was like, when this goes off, you can stop,
- 23:53Speaker 4: but keep going. It's like, but he's sick, so it's
- 23:57Speaker 4: funny now. But just think about uncorrected behavior of always
- 24:02Speaker 4: being able to tell them, OK, as soon as things
- 24:04Speaker 4: get uncomfortable, as soon as you don't want to do something,
- 24:06Speaker 4: we coddle them and be like, oh, you don't have to.
- 24:09Speaker 4: You know, if I pay for a sport and then
- 24:12Speaker 4: all of it for that year and then you just decide, oh,
- 24:14Speaker 4: I don't want to. Parents used to say. Hey, man,
- 24:20Speaker 4: I paid. I done bought this uniform. I done picked
- 24:22Speaker 4: up extra hours for you to get here. Yo ass
- 24:24Speaker 4: is finishing this. And it's not an option. It just
- 24:27Speaker 4: taught you to be uncomfortable in spots. But now we
- 24:30Speaker 4: coddle like as soon as they get a little discomfort,
- 24:33Speaker 4: we just running over there like, oh, it's okay.
- 24:36Speaker 1: You don't have to. It's abuse. Don't abuse them. Man,
- 24:39Speaker 1: come on, man. Ain't that much abuse. Y'all soft.
- 24:41Speaker 4: And the world is going to be a point where
- 24:44Speaker 4: you're going to hard and you're going to be uncomfortable.
- 24:46Speaker 1: And if you haven't, taught them that within the growing
- 24:49Speaker 1: up phase, they gonna fold.
- 24:50Speaker 3: They gonna crash out, baby.
- 24:52Speaker 1: They gonna fold. They gonna fold.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I got a couple stories after you finish talking, Kiki.
- 24:58Speaker 3: I somewhat agree with his point of saying, you know, America,
- 25:03Speaker 3: you know, the work ethic is sometimes less than and it's,
- 25:07Speaker 3: you know, people don't work as hard, whatever. And that,
- 25:10Speaker 3: I think, the issue with his statement is this, it's
- 25:14Speaker 3: an immigrant arrogance that some of them Possess. And this
- 25:19Speaker 3: is just from my life's experience. And I'll just talk
- 25:21Speaker 3: about black immigrants, you know, whether they come from Africa or,
- 25:25Speaker 3: you know, I think he said Haiti is where his
- 25:27Speaker 3: people are from. They sometimes come and they teach their children.
- 25:31Speaker 3: And I've been told this by an African that they
- 25:35Speaker 3: consider black Americans to be less than them because of
- 25:39Speaker 3: the things you mentioned. And also, I think it's the
- 25:41Speaker 3: mindset of where they come from. is not as advanced
- 25:45Speaker 3: as where we are. So looking from the outside in,
- 25:47Speaker 3: you would look at black Americans and say, how could
- 25:49Speaker 3: you be lazy when you have all this opportunity? How
- 25:52Speaker 3: could you be less than or not work so hard
- 25:56Speaker 3: when you have all this freedom and opportunity? You know,
- 25:58Speaker 3: that's how it looks from the outside in. But what
- 26:00Speaker 3: they don't understand is that we came over here not
- 26:02Speaker 3: by our own will. We were never given the proper
- 26:04Speaker 3: resources and we've been fighting for, Just to catch up forever.
- 26:09Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying? Whereas you come over here from,
- 26:12Speaker 3: you know, where you come from and you take full
- 26:15Speaker 3: advantage of everything. And a lot of times you get
- 26:18Speaker 3: immigrants got a lot of benefits that black Americans don't get.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Preach.
- 26:22Speaker 3: So it's like, yes, it's easy to look down on
- 26:25Speaker 3: the black American because in your mind, not being from here,
- 26:29Speaker 3: you are thinking you live in the land of opportunity.
- 26:32Speaker 3: How dare you not work or have opportunity? However, we're
- 26:36Speaker 3: looking at, you don't know, like, you don't know what
- 26:38Speaker 3: it's like over here. You don't know, baby D.
- 26:41Speaker 1: You don't know. You know what I'm saying?
- 26:43Speaker 3: You don't know this government and how it treats its
- 26:45Speaker 3: citizens versus how it treats its immigrants. So a lot
- 26:48Speaker 3: of the opportunities that they have or have, you know,
- 26:51Speaker 3: been given, we didn't have that same thing. And we
- 26:53Speaker 3: were fighting. We're trying to just fight to be in
- 26:56Speaker 3: our own space, whatever. So I think it comes from that.
- 26:59Speaker 3: And I think that if we being real, I think
- 27:00Speaker 3: there is a certain type of immigrant arrogance that they
- 27:04Speaker 3: have towards black Americans. And so when he was sitting
- 27:07Speaker 3: there saying that, and he's a black American, like, yes,
- 27:11Speaker 3: he was raised by, but he was born in America. So,
- 27:15Speaker 3: you know, the way he was speaking was kind of like,
- 27:17Speaker 3: he's not one of us, but you are. And I
- 27:20Speaker 3: think that's where people took issue with. And I think
- 27:22Speaker 3: that just is a part of a bigger conversation. But
- 27:25Speaker 3: also to his point, yes, in this generation, we these
- 27:29Speaker 3: children are not being equipped to handle real life and
- 27:32Speaker 3: real stress and real things. And, you know, they don't
- 27:35Speaker 3: finish what they start. They aren't held accountable. They don't have,
- 27:39Speaker 3: you know, pressures put on them. You know, I'm happy
- 27:43Speaker 3: that mental health is now a thing, but. These children
- 27:46Speaker 3: abuse that.
- 27:46Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Oh, they manipulate that mental health.
- 27:49Speaker 1: They manipulate it so... That mental health is getting manipulated. Oh,
- 27:52Speaker 1: my God.
- 27:52Speaker 3: You know how my mental health was affected as a
- 27:55Speaker 3: fat child and I used to have to run the mile?
- 27:57Speaker 3: Do y'all remember the mile run in school?
- 27:59Speaker 1: You had to do it.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Shut the hell up!
- 28:03Speaker 1: Hey, because I remember, Kiki, it wasn't no way around it.
- 28:07Speaker 3: It wasn't no way around it.
- 28:08Speaker 1: You had to do it.
- 28:11Speaker 3: You could call off school. They going to make you
- 28:12Speaker 3: make it up.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Yes.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Now, it's like, damn, do I want to go out there? Like,
- 28:16Speaker 3: do you know the mental turmoil of being fat and
- 28:19Speaker 3: having to go to school on a mile run day?
- 28:20Speaker 1: And then everybody be finished.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Yeah. And I sit there. The bell used to ring, y'all,
- 28:26Speaker 3: and I would still be on the third lap. You
- 28:29Speaker 3: hear me? Do you know, 90s kids, they ain't running.
- 28:35Speaker 3: They ain't got to stretch no more. Remember when we
- 28:38Speaker 3: had to stretch on the beat? We used to have
- 28:40Speaker 3: to do a sit-up test.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Man, pull-ups. Pull-ups. You had to climb the rope.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Man.
- 28:46Speaker 1: What happened to that?
- 28:47Speaker 3: Come on, exactly.
- 28:49Speaker 2: I asked my daughter. I said, I asked her about
- 28:51Speaker 2: it because she just started high school. I asked her,
- 28:52Speaker 2: so I was like, don't be running around in your
- 28:54Speaker 2: little gym shorts. She We only have to just do,
- 28:57Speaker 2: we don't really have gym.
- 28:59Speaker 3: They in school doing Pilates and yoga.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Yeah, they not doing like, you had to do real things.
- 29:04Speaker 1: That's funny. I forgot about that. The mile, bro. I
- 29:06Speaker 1: used to have to time the mile. Traumatizing. Every year.
- 29:09Speaker 1: That is crazy. Every year. That was crazy. That is crazy.
- 29:12Speaker 3: I never thought about it, but I can see that.
- 29:15Speaker 1: You in there nervous. I'm like, please don't let it
- 29:17Speaker 1: be mile day.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Bro.
- 29:19Speaker 1: You had to run that mile.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Yes.
- 29:21Speaker 1: You had to run that mile. It was a time
- 29:22Speaker 1: you used to have to be up under. You playing
- 29:24Speaker 1: a sport? You playing a sport. That coach be looking
- 29:27Speaker 1: at you like.
- 29:27Speaker 4: They be like, girls got to be under this time.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Boys got to be under this time. Yep. Go. And
- 29:33Speaker 1: you just run in the mile.
- 29:34Speaker 3: It took me two days.
- 29:35Speaker 1: It was like, they don't have.
- 29:37Speaker 3: This type of stress. And if we be in all jerseys. aside,
- 29:40Speaker 3: there is a literacy issue in America. The kids can't read.
- 29:44Speaker 1: That's true.
- 29:44Speaker 3: They can't read and they can't count. And that's real.
- 29:48Speaker 3: And it's like, and I think sometimes as black Americans,
- 29:51Speaker 3: we get so obsessed with giving our children what we
- 29:53Speaker 3: never had or trying to create a life that is
- 29:57Speaker 3: more comfortable than what we had.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 29:59Speaker 3: It's cripple cripple lies in them. It's cripple lies in them.
- 30:06Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying? Like my nephew, everything he's
- 30:09Speaker 3: ever wanted in his life, I've given him. And if
- 30:12Speaker 3: I couldn't, my sister did or his uncles did. He's
- 30:15Speaker 3: going to get it either way. He know right now
- 30:18Speaker 3: the man so smart. He takes all of us at
- 30:20Speaker 3: the same time for twenty dollars. whoever cash apps come through,
- 30:23Speaker 3: he got it. We start texting each other like, hold on,
- 30:26Speaker 3: he just asked you too? Oh, that's, it's like they don't,
- 30:30Speaker 3: they just.
- 30:31Speaker 1: He done pulled up a hundred on y'all. He like,
- 30:33Speaker 1: hold on y'all, I gotta get some money.
- 30:37Speaker 3: And it's cause I'm at work on 17 radio stations
- 30:40Speaker 3: and like, I want to make sure he have the
- 30:42Speaker 3: life I didn't have. You know, I want to make
- 30:44Speaker 3: sure he can, It's just like by doing that, we
- 30:47Speaker 3: a lot of times cripple the next the next the
- 30:49Speaker 3: previous or the next generation. And I think that so
- 30:51Speaker 3: that's the truth and what he was saying. But if
- 30:53Speaker 3: we being real, a lot of immigrant households look down
- 30:56Speaker 3: on black Americans, but they also I would I mean,
- 30:59Speaker 3: it's like. I understand. We recognize their struggle of coming
- 31:03Speaker 3: from the lands that they come from, you know, the
- 31:05Speaker 3: places that they live. But I don't think we get
- 31:08Speaker 3: that same type of grace of understanding.
- 31:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:10Speaker 3: It looks beautiful over here from where you sit, but
- 31:13Speaker 3: that's not, that's, that's the white people experience. That ain't
- 31:16Speaker 3: the black experience.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Yep. That's a fact.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Just to say that when he was saying, cause I,
- 31:21Speaker 2: you know, I'm an actor and when he brought up
- 31:25Speaker 2: the other actors, I injuries and all the other actors
- 31:28Speaker 2: have come across.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Uh, But you got to.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Remember, though, DaVinci, that black people were on TV and
- 31:36Speaker 2: had hit shows, like major hit shows on major networks.
- 31:41Speaker 2: And then all of a sudden, whoosh, black people was gone.
- 31:45Speaker 2: We didn't get less funny, less creative, and less talented.
- 31:49Speaker 2: None of that happened to us. They just whooshed us
- 31:52Speaker 2: away off of mainstream TV.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Why? Who knows? And then all of a sudden, when
- 31:58Speaker 1: they wanted.
- 31:59Speaker 2: To get black people again, it wasn't black Americans again
- 32:02Speaker 2: that have not become less talented, less creative, and have
- 32:06Speaker 2: less ability. They started grabbing actors from overseas that were black. Oh, yeah,
- 32:11Speaker 2: we black, but they got an English accent when they
- 32:14Speaker 2: talk to them regularly. But it definitely has something to
- 32:18Speaker 2: do with that. And then to the point of, Hey,
- 32:22Speaker 2: Americans are lazy.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Again, to echo what y'all said, I just think that.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Especially a person in my age that has seen stuff,
- 32:33Speaker 2: is that, yeah, I think that the accountability level for
- 32:39Speaker 2: us has gone down. I think the want to has
- 32:42Speaker 2: gone down a little bit. I think it's just been
- 32:45Speaker 2: caught on this guy really soft.
- 32:47Speaker 4: Well, the thing is, I think that he doesn't understand
- 32:49Speaker 4: because of his other comments from that interview. You see
- 32:52Speaker 4: what he said about slavery. He basically was like, you know,
- 32:56Speaker 4: happened to everybody. White people were enslaving white people, black
- 33:01Speaker 4: people enslaved black people, you know.
- 33:04Speaker 1: He kicked himself in the ding-ding with that. And he
- 33:06Speaker 1: made it seem like slavery.
- 33:07Speaker 4: He lost 200,000 followers instantly. Boom. Because African-Americans who really
- 33:10Speaker 4: understand that African, we have to be clear on this.
- 33:13Speaker 4: There was no slavery like African-American slavery. Okay, the other
- 33:17Speaker 4: slaveries that people be talking about when they talk about
- 33:19Speaker 4: people doing it to each other and different things like that,
- 33:21Speaker 4: that was for a short amount of time. And it
- 33:23Speaker 4: was not as brutal as the slavery we talk about.
- 33:26Speaker 4: The slavery they're talking about is somebody working off a
- 33:28Speaker 4: debt until they were set free.
- 33:30Speaker 1: That's different than what happened.
- 33:33Speaker 4: They were treating us like land stock, like cattle, like animals,
- 33:37Speaker 4: feeding our babies to alligators.
- 33:39Speaker 1: They're only.
- 33:41Speaker 3: American slavery was like that. And that wasn't that long ago.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Let's be very, very clear.
- 33:45Speaker 4: That was not that long ago. Stop comparing it to
- 33:48Speaker 4: other forms of slavery.
- 33:49Speaker 1: It was not the same.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Like I said, my grandmother could not walk on it
- 33:54Speaker 2: as a kid. My grandma, my mama's mama, could not
- 33:59Speaker 2: walk on the same side of the street as a
- 34:02Speaker 2: white person.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Or she would have got lynched. She would have been
- 34:06Speaker 1: hanging from a tree. Her words, not mine.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Right.
- 34:09Speaker 1: And it's like, so... That's my mama's mama.
- 34:12Speaker 3: That's not that far removed. And that's what I think
- 34:15Speaker 3: from the outside looking in, it's like, this is America.
- 34:19Speaker 3: It's the land of opportunity. Not for black people. You
- 34:23Speaker 3: know what I'm saying? We still very much in the fight.
- 34:26Speaker 3: And so it's like, that's where I think the immigrants
- 34:30Speaker 3: don't truly understand. But what I wish we could understand
- 34:33Speaker 3: is that if you came over here and we could
- 34:35Speaker 3: link up and be together and work together... The possibilities
- 34:41Speaker 3: are endless.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Yep.
- 34:42Speaker 3: But, you know, and when you bring up the British actors,
- 34:44Speaker 3: he made a point in the interview where he was like, well,
- 34:46Speaker 3: some of them will take less pay to do the
- 34:49Speaker 3: role or to get the job or whatever. And we
- 34:51Speaker 3: know that to be true about immigrants. That's why people,
- 34:53Speaker 3: you know... People will say, oh, you know, go the
- 34:56Speaker 3: lawn care. You know, I only want this type of
- 34:59Speaker 3: lawn care because they feel like, oh, if they're not documented,
- 35:02Speaker 3: we can pay them less. All these different things. But
- 35:04Speaker 3: it's like the quicker we both realize that we both struggling,
- 35:08Speaker 3: black Americans and immigrants, we'd be much better off.
- 35:12Speaker 2: We both realize we're both struggling. You're actually voting for
- 35:15Speaker 2: people that don't even care. You're voting for people that
- 35:18Speaker 2: don't even care about the price of gas. They ain't
- 35:20Speaker 2: get price of gas, eggs. None of that has affected
- 35:23Speaker 2: their life at all. They don't know what nothing costs
- 35:26Speaker 2: because it don't bother them. Y'all be arguing back and
- 35:28Speaker 2: forth about what these people views, and they don't even
- 35:31Speaker 2: know how you live on a daily basis.
- 35:33Speaker 1: They're not even in your shoes.
- 35:34Speaker 3: But go vote November 3rd.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Yes, do that.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Go vote.
- 35:37Speaker 1: All right.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Could the Bears be staying in Illinois still? According to reports,
- 35:41Speaker 2: the Bears met with lawmakers and the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell,
- 35:44Speaker 2: to talk about staying in Illinois. I... I follow a
- 35:49Speaker 2: guy that is very tapped in on this situation. And
- 35:51Speaker 2: he was like, the commissioner is upset with the Illinois
- 35:55Speaker 2: politics of it. And the politics going between the Bears, Illinois, Indiana.
- 36:01Speaker 2: And he's stepping in. And I think we're going to
- 36:03Speaker 2: be able to keep the Bears.
- 36:04Speaker 1: He's not more upset than I am of hearing about this.
- 36:10Speaker 3: You got instantly stressed.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Every time we bring up the Bears stadium, it stresses
- 36:14Speaker 1: me out.
- 36:15Speaker 4: Because Kevin Warren has come on the WGCI morning show,
- 36:19Speaker 4: took me outside.
- 36:20Speaker 1: The studio, showed me the view. He said, you see that?
- 36:23Speaker 4: Don't that look good? The new stadium going to be
- 36:25Speaker 4: right next to Soldier Field, right there. Everybody was excited
- 36:29Speaker 4: about it.
- 36:29Speaker 1: We was like, oh, yeah.
- 36:30Speaker 4: The Bears are going to be in Chicago where they
- 36:33Speaker 4: should be, right? Right there next to Soldier Field. The
- 36:37Speaker 4: Bears stadium is in the perfect spot. Can we work
- 36:40Speaker 4: on logistics as far as getting in and getting out?
- 36:43Speaker 1: Absolutely we can.
- 36:45Speaker 4: But you can't tell me there's a better view of
- 36:48Speaker 4: the city and where the Bears should be than right
- 36:52Speaker 4: here where they are.
- 36:53Speaker 3: What about the Dome? You think we should get a Dome?
- 36:55Speaker 1: Yes.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Yes, it's that time. It's just that time. Everybody's got
- 36:59Speaker 4: Domes now. We need a new state of the art.
- 37:02Speaker 3: See, that's that Cottle stuff, though. Because what y'all need
- 37:05Speaker 3: a Dome for? Chicago football ain't Chicago football if you
- 37:09Speaker 3: ain't cold, snowy. Everything. You got to play in the
- 37:13Speaker 3: elements here. That's what make us Chicago. What y'all need
- 37:15Speaker 3: a dome for?
- 37:16Speaker 1: So we can kick it. So we can actually have fun. Yeah,
- 37:19Speaker 1: so we can go there and kick it. I want
- 37:22Speaker 1: to go kick it.
- 37:22Speaker 3: The experience of me being a kid going to my
- 37:24Speaker 3: first Bears game, shout out to my cousin Joe Kane
- 37:26Speaker 3: who played.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Shout out to him.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I was freezing.
- 37:30Speaker 1: We don't want you to freeze. No, you need to freeze.
- 37:32Speaker 1: We want you to go.
- 37:32Speaker 3: That's what's wrong with y'all is why y'all kids lazy
- 37:34Speaker 3: because y'all ain't letting them freeze outside.
- 37:36Speaker 1: That probably could be true.
- 37:37Speaker 3: They cancel school when the damn temperature get low.
- 37:40Speaker 1: That's true.
- 37:41Speaker 2: I want to be indoors because I want Chicago to
- 37:45Speaker 2: get Final Fours. I want to be able to have
- 37:48Speaker 2: all the Final Fours, Super Bowls, all of these big
- 37:51Speaker 2: events when you have a dome stadium.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Make it retractable. Open it up sometimes. Keep it cold sometimes.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Put a trolley system over there.
- 38:00Speaker 5: Hey.
- 38:00Speaker 1: They definitely need that. Please.
- 38:03Speaker 4: And don't tell us nothing else about the stadium until
- 38:05Speaker 4: you break ground somewhere.
- 38:07Speaker 1: I'm tired of that.
- 38:08Speaker 3: But what about Hammond? Didn't they just gave up on Hammond?
- 38:11Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. That was a bluff the
- 38:13Speaker 1: whole time.
- 38:13Speaker 3: No, that was Gary.
- 38:15Speaker 1: They wasn't going to Indiana.
- 38:17Speaker 4: They said, we got stuff past Indiana. And they looking
- 38:20Speaker 4: at Illinois like this the whole time.
- 38:22Speaker 1: We'll go over here to Indiana. I swear that gave
- 38:26Speaker 1: us everything over here to Indiana. They just gave us
- 38:29Speaker 1: a billion dollars over here to Indiana.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Look, I worked at Hammond for 11 years. I worked 12.
- 38:37Speaker 2: That ain't where you want to be.
- 38:40Speaker 4: Indiana gave them, if they wanted it, they would have
- 38:43Speaker 4: been signed that contract if they was really going. They said,
- 38:46Speaker 4: we'll build the stadium for you using taxpayers' dollars.
- 38:50Speaker 1: And guess what?
- 38:51Speaker 4: Y'all pay it off whenever y'all ready. and we'll charge
- 38:53Speaker 4: you a dollar for it once you pay it off.
- 38:56Speaker 1: It's y'all's.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Man, they not coming. That was a bluff to try
- 38:59Speaker 4: to move Illinois quicker. Illinois still standing tall.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Yeah, they not going. They not going over there.
- 39:07Speaker 2: They not going, and Governor Pritzker's not going because he
- 39:10Speaker 2: said he refuses Illinois' taxpayers to pay for being their stadium.
- 39:16Speaker 1: He refuses that. I don't want it in Arlington Heights either, though.
- 39:19Speaker 1: I kind of do. That's far.
- 39:20Speaker 2: It is far, but they're going to have better transportation.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Soldier Field is horrible to get to.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Terrible, bro.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Horrible to leave. Horrible to go. It's horrible. But what
- 39:33Speaker 1: about building a new one where they sit next to... Okay,
- 39:35Speaker 1: that's fine. And they get a trolley system. They get
- 39:37Speaker 1: a trolley system and... Figure it out.
- 39:39Speaker 4: I'm with that, man. And I get what you're saying.
- 39:41Speaker 4: It is a terrible thing. And I'm going to tell
- 39:43Speaker 4: y'all the truth. Whenever they put that big, new, shiny
- 39:46Speaker 4: building and you go in there, you ain't going to
- 39:48Speaker 4: give a damn where that ball got.
- 39:49Speaker 1: I promise you. By the time you get in there,
- 39:51Speaker 1: you're going to be like, yeah. But this is it.
- 39:53Speaker 1: It ain't going to matter once they build it. I
- 39:55Speaker 1: guarantee it. They also say that they're thinking about putting it.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Next to, so it'll be three stadiums right there. In
- 40:01Speaker 1: South Loop?
- 40:02Speaker 2: Right over there in the South Loop where they putting
- 40:04Speaker 2: the fire stadium in.
- 40:05Speaker 1: That would be amazing.
- 40:06Speaker 2: The fire stadium, the Sox stadium, and they talking about
- 40:09Speaker 2: the Bears could possibly go over there too.
- 40:12Speaker 1: That would be unreal.
- 40:13Speaker 4: That's what I liked about Cincinnati, how they had their
- 40:16Speaker 4: stadiums close to each other.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Yeah, right next to each other. It was like walking distance.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I was like, that is lit. That's lit. That was lit.
- 40:22Speaker 1: I like that. Sox, Bears, and you said Sox, Bears,
- 40:25Speaker 1: and who else? The Fire?
- 40:26Speaker 4: Fire.
- 40:26Speaker 5: Shh.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not mad at that. Just give me a trolley, baby, please.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Like the airport. Please get something like.
- 40:32Speaker 1: The airport, dude. You just want to get rolled to
- 40:35Speaker 1: the dough, don't you?
- 40:35Speaker 3: Let me get in there, please, Soldier Phil. I don't
- 40:38Speaker 3: even mind you staying right here. All that traffic on
- 40:40Speaker 3: Lake Shore.
- 40:42Speaker 1: All right.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Ahead of the 24th NBA season for LeBron James, he's
- 40:46Speaker 2: battling chronic arthritis in his left foot.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Lord. That is just something. Do I think.
- 40:52Speaker 2: LeBron got arthritis in his left foot?
- 40:55Speaker 1: Nope.
- 40:56Speaker 3: No?
- 40:56Speaker 2: I don't believe it. I think they're going to try
- 40:59Speaker 2: to keep LeBron healthy. He is over 40, and that's
- 41:03Speaker 2: them telling everybody, LeBron's.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Not going to play every game. Oh, okay, okay. He's
- 41:09Speaker 1: going to be off some days.
- 41:11Speaker 4: If y'all think LeBron James is lacing up in his
- 41:14Speaker 4: 24th year, 41 years old, getting ready to go out
- 41:18Speaker 4: there and play preseason.
- 41:20Speaker 1: You can forget about it.
- 41:20Speaker 2: No.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Oh, that's what this is.
- 41:22Speaker 1: He ain't playing preseason. He not playing preseason. He not
- 41:25Speaker 1: playing back-to-backs. No.
- 41:27Speaker 2: He might only play two games a week. They going
- 41:30Speaker 2: to keep LeBron fresh for the playoffs.
- 41:32Speaker 3: But regular season, he'll come out and play.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Yeah, but he won't play all of the regular season games.
- 41:37Speaker 3: Oh.
- 41:37Speaker 1: No, he won't. Storage full on this. Oh, damn.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Shit.
- 41:43Speaker 1: It just cut on, though.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Shit.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Do I stop it and make another file or keep
- 41:55Speaker 1: it moving? Okay. All right. We're coming right out of
- 42:00Speaker 1: that and going to RBO Day. We got it. We
- 42:03Speaker 1: at about like 40 minutes.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 42:06Speaker 3: All right.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Well, LeBron, well, I'm going to see him. Kiki, are
- 42:22Speaker 1: you going to go check him out?
- 42:24Speaker 3: What, LeBron? Oh, he in Philly?
- 42:25Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 42:26Speaker 3: No, I ain't going to make it.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Well, I mean, when he comes to Chicago.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Tell LeBron I said what up.
- 42:34Speaker 1: I ain't. I kind of want to go.
- 42:36Speaker 3: I'm going.
- 42:36Speaker 1: I want to go see LeBron in Philly.
- 42:38Speaker 5: I do, too.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Well, go on then.
- 42:40Speaker 5: I am.
- 42:41Speaker 4: I want to see him in Philly and here. I
- 42:43Speaker 4: feel like we on our last days of LeBron. I'm
- 42:45Speaker 4: trying to see LeBron as much as I can. This
- 42:48Speaker 4: going to be it, y'all. We ain't got many more
- 42:50Speaker 4: years left.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Y'all never seen him play? Yeah, I've seen him play.
- 42:53Speaker 1: I've seen him play twice in person. I've seen him
- 42:56Speaker 1: play a lot of times.
- 42:57Speaker 4: Oh, well, what's one more? I never seen him. Last
- 43:01Speaker 4: time I saw him, I bought a ticket by myself
- 43:03Speaker 4: and went.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Oh, okay. I wanted to go that bad. I was like,
- 43:08Speaker 1: I'm going. There it is.
- 43:10Speaker 4: And I wanted to sit where I wanted to sit,
- 43:12Speaker 4: and I couldn't afford to.
- 43:14Speaker 1: So I went. I was like, I'm going by myself.
- 43:17Speaker 1: I just went.
- 43:18Speaker 3: That's how I went to see Cardi B.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Really?
- 43:20Speaker 3: Yes, by myself.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Get out of here.
- 43:23Speaker 3: I had a pair of tickets, but the person canceled
- 43:25Speaker 3: at the last minute. I was like, I'm not missing
- 43:27Speaker 3: this ass.
- 43:29Speaker 1: I'm not missing that.
- 43:31Speaker 3: I'm going to see Cardi B.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Kiki loves big booties. She loves big booties. Like a dude.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Like a dude. It's crazy. There's a lot of women
- 43:41Speaker 1: out here that love ass.
- 43:42Speaker 3: My fiance will tell you the same thing. He's like,
- 43:44Speaker 3: you got a problem. Right. Like, I walked into the
- 43:47Speaker 3: car one time pushing the cart out the snow. This
- 43:49Speaker 3: lady with a big booty walked past. And I literally
- 43:52Speaker 3: walked into our car with the cart. He was like,
- 43:54Speaker 3: you sick, bro.
- 43:55Speaker 1: He said, dude. My bad.
- 44:03Speaker 3: And it's not even that I'm not gay. It's just like,
- 44:05Speaker 3: I should be like amazed. Like, wow.
- 44:09Speaker 1: So big. That is hilarious.
- 44:13Speaker 2: Okay, according to reports, Aubrey O'Day slams Diddy's alleged pampered
- 44:17Speaker 2: prison lifestyle and says he's going to come home a
- 44:20Speaker 2: worse criminal.
- 44:22Speaker 3: Keep your foot on his neck, queen. Aubrey O'Day never
- 44:24Speaker 3: played with Diddy. Since making the band, she's never played
- 44:28Speaker 3: with him. I don't expect her to say anything less.
- 44:31Speaker 3: I did see rumors circulating earlier today that Diddy's case
- 44:35Speaker 3: got overturned. That might have just been... Somebody playing on
- 44:38Speaker 3: the internet, but they were saying that he may get
- 44:41Speaker 3: out even sooner.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Tone called it. Did he? Yeah, Tone said he going
- 44:46Speaker 1: to be out by Christmas.
- 44:50Speaker 3: According to Google, no, his case has not been overturned.
- 44:54Speaker 2: I just don't think he doing this whole bit. I
- 44:58Speaker 2: think he'll be out sometime next year. I think they're
- 45:00Speaker 2: going to figure out a way. They keep shortening it.
- 45:02Speaker 3: To 2028.
- 45:03Speaker 1: I mean, we're guys in the back. But they're shortening
- 45:05Speaker 1: it 30 days. It ain't really been, like, much shortening.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Well, he got to stop selling dope and having stripper parties,
- 45:11Speaker 3: whatever he got going on in there, allegedly. So they can't,
- 45:14Speaker 3: you know. He keep getting caught fighting in videos. He
- 45:18Speaker 3: got a phone. He got to stop telling on himself.
- 45:21Speaker 1: And then, you know. Yeah. Like, there's other people telling
- 45:24Speaker 1: on him.
- 45:24Speaker 5: Right.
- 45:24Speaker 1: They telling on him. He living his life. He like, hey, man,
- 45:27Speaker 1: I'm not finna. Y'all clean that. I'm not boo-booing. Somebody
- 45:31Speaker 1: come clean this up because I'm Diddy. Diddy is not.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Figure this out. You got too much money.
- 45:36Speaker 3: I would really try that in jail.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Too much money. Why wouldn't you? I'm rich in jail.
- 45:41Speaker 1: I got to figure this out to make it work
- 45:42Speaker 1: for me. Yes. Yep. He rich, rich. Ain't no breaking Diddy's.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Who can cook in here? I can see him having
- 45:49Speaker 1: a little jail meeting. Who the best chef in here? Yep.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Everybody know Tony be killing boy, but ride over there.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Ride as a beast right there. My man.
- 45:59Speaker 4: Every time you eat, you make sure you cook me.
- 46:01Speaker 4: And I'm going to take care of you.
- 46:03Speaker 1: There it is. Boom. That's done. He got him taken
- 46:06Speaker 1: care of.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Done.
- 46:06Speaker 1: You know what? $ 50 a week in jail means.
- 46:09Speaker 3: You can play him in the biopic.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Did he? Mm-hmm. He did.
- 46:15Speaker 3: He just sounded like him in everything.
- 46:16Speaker 1: He did. Mm-hmm. He did. Either him or Megan Thee Stallion. Oh, yeah.
- 46:24Speaker 4: I can't play Megan Thee Stallion. I can do her
- 46:26Speaker 4: raps in the biopic, though.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Y'all crazy.
- 46:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Gunna Tease, he's back with new music, dropping a single
- 46:36Speaker 2: this Friday called Pop It.
- 46:38Speaker 3: We want it. Come on, Gunna. Come on, Gunna. They
- 46:41Speaker 3: tried to end Gunna.
- 46:42Speaker 1: They did. Gunna can rap. Gunna can rap. Gunna can rap.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Come on.
- 46:49Speaker 1: There it is. Shout out to Gunna. All right.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Let's get to some lifestyle questions. How long is too
- 46:55Speaker 2: long for a situation ship?
- 46:58Speaker 4: The situation should go as long as you need the
- 46:59Speaker 4: situation to go. That's what I say.
- 47:02Speaker 1: That's what I say. Until she leave. Right. Really, until
- 47:08Speaker 1: she leave. Until you leave me. Because I'm going to
- 47:11Speaker 1: tell you something.
- 47:12Speaker 3: A guy is going to keep that situation going as
- 47:14Speaker 3: long as he can.
- 47:14Speaker 1: They will. And until you leave, that's when it'll end.
- 47:19Speaker 3: A man will waste your time.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Yes, he will. Is he really wasting time?
- 47:23Speaker 5: Yes.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Y'all will waste time. If you're in a situation. And
- 47:28Speaker 2: you're in it willingly. And you're having fun. I'm having fun.
- 47:32Speaker 2: You've never brought up moving things forward. I never brought
- 47:35Speaker 2: up moving anything forward. It seems like we both enjoying
- 47:39Speaker 2: the situation.
- 47:40Speaker 3: That's not a situationship. A situationship is when we are
- 47:43Speaker 3: together and you continue to string a person along and
- 47:48Speaker 3: play games like we're in a relationship. And then she
- 47:51Speaker 3: gets subtle reminders every now and then that this is
- 47:54Speaker 3: only a situationship. But then you come back with some
- 47:56Speaker 3: old promises to string her along some more. And then
- 47:59Speaker 3: y'all keep doing this game of, you know.
- 48:01Speaker 1: That sounds exactly like what I.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Was going to say.
- 48:04Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 48:04Speaker 3: You said both parties were having fun and, you know,
- 48:08Speaker 3: y'all was just dating. That's dating.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Why would you stay in something that you don't like?
- 48:12Speaker 3: Because you lie. Y'all waste time. Y'all lie, play games.
- 48:16Speaker 1: What is a lie that would keep you there?
- 48:18Speaker 3: I'm going to leave my wife.
- 48:20Speaker 1: I'm going to.
- 48:23Speaker 3: As soon as I get on my feet, I'm.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Going to propose. It's just for the kids.
- 48:27Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying? Yeah.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:29Speaker 3: We don't even sleep in the same room. You know,
- 48:31Speaker 3: we just on the same lease.
- 48:32Speaker 2: That sounds like being a mistress. That doesn't sound like
- 48:36Speaker 2: a situationship.
- 48:37Speaker 3: No, mistresses know they're mistresses. Like, mistresses be down for them.
- 48:41Speaker 1: You know. Okay.
- 48:42Speaker 3: But if we're in a situationship, you're lying. Somebody's lying.
- 48:44Speaker 3: It could be the woman or the man. But somebody's
- 48:46Speaker 3: lying when it's a situationship.
- 48:48Speaker 1: I just didn't think of this joke I had. I
- 48:50Speaker 1: didn't know that.
- 48:51Speaker 3: I'm sure you did. I'm sure you have plenty of experience.
- 48:54Speaker 1: No. No, yeah. No, me?
- 48:59Speaker 4: No.
- 49:02Speaker 5: No.
- 49:03Speaker 1: Zach, what you think?
- 49:04Speaker 4: Nothing.
- 49:07Speaker 1: I don't think nothing about this. What was the question?
- 49:08Speaker 3: I don't think nothing about this.
- 49:10Speaker 4: Oh, how long should you go with the situation shift?
- 49:12Speaker 4: I mean, like I said, it goes usually... See, here's
- 49:16Speaker 4: the thing. Women try to act like it's just the man.
- 49:19Speaker 4: And reality, the woman.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Know that he ain't leaving.
- 49:22Speaker 3: But she still wants to be there.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Okay.
- 49:25Speaker 4: And she's just not really willing to break that tie
- 49:28Speaker 4: with that guy.
- 49:29Speaker 1: It ain't even necessarily hope because you don't even really.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Let's be honest. You don't want him full time. No way.
- 49:34Speaker 1: You don't want his ass full time. He irritating.
- 49:37Speaker 4: He giving you the best. He out there going back
- 49:40Speaker 4: with his wife, giving her hell. He's giving you the best.
- 49:43Speaker 4: You get the short amount of time, the fun, the laughs.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Whatever y'all doing. You know what I'm saying?
- 49:51Speaker 4: You getting all the fun part, and you really asking
- 49:54Speaker 4: for the whole relationship when you know you really don't
- 49:56Speaker 4: even want it.
- 49:57Speaker 1: But a lot of women don't want to admit that.
- 49:59Speaker 1: I just like this part of it. So they'll say,
- 50:01Speaker 1: he say he gonna leave. You don't want him. You
- 50:05Speaker 1: know exactly what's going on.
- 50:06Speaker 3: That's a different type of manipulator right there. Because see
- 50:09Speaker 3: how he flipped and reversed that. Yeah, this feel like
- 50:12Speaker 3: a Missy Elliott song the way you just did that.
- 50:14Speaker 3: What your daddy say?
- 50:15Speaker 1: Hormones jumping like a disco.
- 50:17Speaker 2: You good.
- 50:18Speaker 3: He good. You got to catch him. Because he just
- 50:20Speaker 3: tried to flip that. You don't even want to be
- 50:22Speaker 3: in a real relationship with me. You like what we doing.
- 50:25Speaker 3: That's what you tell the woman.
- 50:27Speaker 5: No. No.
- 50:27Speaker 3: A situation ship is somebody wants to be in a
- 50:30Speaker 3: real relationship and somebody is constantly lying and stringing them along.
- 50:33Speaker 1: Wow. That's crazy. I never heard of that.
- 50:35Speaker 3: What he just described sounds like a mistress. I know
- 50:38Speaker 3: that I only like to have you on the weekends.
- 50:40Speaker 3: I know that I like... That's what a mistress agrees to.
- 50:43Speaker 3: But a situation ship wants to be... Most women in
- 50:47Speaker 3: a situation ship want to be there, want to be
- 50:48Speaker 3: with the man.
- 50:49Speaker 4: If they really want to be with the man, all
- 50:50Speaker 4: those single men in that DM trying to get their
- 50:52Speaker 4: attention and all of that, That's not the person that
- 50:54Speaker 4: they're giving the time of day.
- 50:55Speaker 1: That's not the person they're giving the energy to.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Yeah, because the man they with is lying to them
- 50:58Speaker 3: and telling them they're going to be together.
- 51:00Speaker 1: So they're giving the energy. How long does that last, though, Kiki?
- 51:05Speaker 1: We're asking how long.
- 51:05Speaker 4: Y'all great liars. It can last for years. If it's
- 51:08Speaker 4: lasted for years, you are choosing to believe the lie.
- 51:11Speaker 4: At what point do you take any accountability?
- 51:13Speaker 1: No, I agree. He said he was going to leave
- 51:15Speaker 1: three summers ago.
- 51:16Speaker 3: Yes, he did.
- 51:17Speaker 5: I agree.
- 51:18Speaker 4: He ain't going nowhere. And you know that, and you're happy.
- 51:22Speaker 4: What women don't want to accept.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Is, I like this situation. I like being on the side.
- 51:29Speaker 4: I like this dude so much at whatever capacity he
- 51:32Speaker 4: wants to give me.
- 51:33Speaker 1: I like that, and I want to accept that.
- 51:35Speaker 4: But then they'll act like they're not. Like, they are like, oh,
- 51:38Speaker 4: he's just, I can't take this anymore. Because he forgot you,
- 51:42Speaker 4: because he couldn't hang with you on Christmas. And then
- 51:45Speaker 4: guess what? By the time January came, you was cool.
- 51:48Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 51:49Speaker 3: That's the situation.
- 51:50Speaker 1: That's, but that is. I don't know nothing about this.
- 51:52Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about it either.
- 51:53Speaker 2: This is all.
- 51:54Speaker 3: I know I sound like you know a lot. I
- 51:55Speaker 3: ain't never.
- 51:56Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about it.
- 51:57Speaker 3: I sound like you know a lot.
- 51:58Speaker 2: I do know about Ask the Pie. So what is
- 52:01Speaker 2: the situation? Shit pie fam. What do you think?
- 52:04Speaker 1: Hit the iHeartRadio app. Hit that talk back mic.
- 52:08Speaker 2: Record us a little something and holler at us for
- 52:11Speaker 2: the Sunday show so we can play.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Yes.
- 52:14Speaker 2: And make sure you say, hey, this is such and
- 52:15Speaker 2: such from such and such. Because if you don't, it
- 52:18Speaker 2: makes me It just irritates me a little bit. Yes.
- 52:21Speaker 1: It's my pet peeve. Thoughts from the pod.
- 52:23Speaker 3: It's very upset. Thoughts from the pod. So many thoughts.
- 52:26Speaker 3: Let's see here.
- 52:28Speaker 5: Woo.
- 52:28Speaker 3: Uh-uh-uh-uh.
- 52:32Speaker 4: Woo.
- 52:33Speaker 1: That's how you do it.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:34Speaker 1: I need a little time. I need a little second.
- 52:36Speaker 4: Woo.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Shout out to the ladies. You need a little
- 52:41Speaker 1: time on stage.
- 52:42Speaker 3: Bree Jamison.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Shout out.
- 52:44Speaker 3: She said, I love y'all from St.
- 52:46Speaker 4: Louis.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Okay? Yes, yes.
- 52:49Speaker 5: St.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Louis in the house.
- 52:50Speaker 3: DP Prute said, OMG, Tone's Salt-N-Pepa made me take off
- 52:55Speaker 3: my glasses and do a double take. She put five
- 52:58Speaker 3: fire emojis. That handsome ain't stop. And I'm over east
- 53:02Speaker 3: in Chicago.
- 53:03Speaker 1: That's Salt-N-Pepa gone. I lost a bet. I let that
- 53:07Speaker 1: go yesterday.
- 53:08Speaker 5: Oh, damn.
- 53:08Speaker 3: You had a bet?
- 53:09Speaker 1: I had a bet. I let it go. I love
- 53:11Speaker 1: that Salt-N-Pepa, Tone. That might be the mood. They liking it.
- 53:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 53:15Speaker 5: Yep.
- 53:17Speaker 1: That real black got in there today, Jack. He ain't going. Oh,
- 53:23Speaker 1: my God.
- 53:26Speaker 3: Nakiva says, Zach, I love searching Zillow with $ 2 in
- 53:29Speaker 3: my pocket. I do, too. She's an indie. Shout out.
- 53:34Speaker 3: Tay Love, Kiki, I almost spit my coffee all over
- 53:38Speaker 3: my pants the second you said people like that get
- 53:41Speaker 3: slapped at the Oscars. Girl, what is wrong with you?
- 53:43Speaker 1: I forgot to say that.
- 53:46Speaker 3: That is funny. Okay, somebody want to tell us a
- 53:52Speaker 3: little Nas X dropped a song. Shout out to you, friend,
- 53:54Speaker 3: from Atlanta.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Okay. All right. Today in news, we don't give a damn.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Things that we didn't want to know.
- 54:01Speaker 3: Aisha Salami said, Y'all need to leave Tone's nerdy self alone.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Lanterns is so good from Los Angeles.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Yeah. I bet she wear glasses. She wear glasses, too.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Everybody who wear glasses, watch that.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Oh, my God. That is crazy. Eddie Murphy put his
- 54:24Speaker 3: brother on. So did Joe Torre and the Wayans. Chris
- 54:28Speaker 3: Rock is selfish. And shout out to The Breakfast Club.
- 54:32Speaker 3: I got to watch this interview. I saw Chris Rock
- 54:34Speaker 3: was on there with them. So maybe we can get
- 54:37Speaker 3: some more insight to why he did not get that
- 54:40Speaker 3: man out of jail. And why his brother has never
- 54:42Speaker 3: worked in a film with him. But I also went
- 54:45Speaker 3: home and thought about it. And I forgot the man
- 54:46Speaker 3: had a whole sitcom called Everybody Hates Chris. This is why.
- 54:51Speaker 1: He had a... Oh, yeah.
- 54:54Speaker 3: I was like, damn.
- 54:55Speaker 1: This is why. Which is crazy. Everybody Hates Chris.
- 54:58Speaker 3: Another.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Whole show they had. How many seasons? At least three.
- 55:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:02Speaker 1: At least three that his brother never showed up on.
- 55:05Speaker 4: Never.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Not once.
- 55:05Speaker 3: One time. Didn't even make him the mailman or something.
- 55:09Speaker 1: One time.
- 55:11Speaker 5: Once.
- 55:11Speaker 3: So maybe he knew. He know everybody hate him. Maybe
- 55:13Speaker 3: that's why he act like that.
- 55:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Hey, guys. It's right in front of your face sometimes.
- 55:19Speaker 3: Oh, but I know what I wanted to mention before
- 55:21Speaker 3: the pie wrap. Y'all, Tone took me to Sanders Barbecue.
- 55:27Speaker 1: Come on now. Yeah.
- 55:28Speaker 3: Y'all. First of all, I'm sending out pips to the
- 55:33Speaker 3: Big Mac community because nobody before Tone had told me
- 55:35Speaker 3: about this spot. So good. Shout out to the chef, baby.
- 55:40Speaker 3: We was in there eating up everything, okay? I highly
- 55:43Speaker 3: recommend the catfish, the macaroni and cheese, the corn. They
- 55:48Speaker 3: got this corn.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 55:50Speaker 3: The greens. Fire. So shout out to Santa's Barbecue. I
- 55:54Speaker 3: wanted to make sure I said that.
- 55:56Speaker 2: Yeah, we didn't even have– we had a fraction of
- 55:58Speaker 2: what's on the menu. Like a small fraction of what's
- 56:02Speaker 2: on there. They got so much stuff on that menu.
- 56:06Speaker 2: It's one of New York Post's top 50 restaurants in
- 56:09Speaker 2: the country. It is in Chicago's top 30.
- 56:12Speaker 3: Black-owned.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Black-owned, top 30. Shout-out to Chef Jason. Shout-out to my dentist.
- 56:17Speaker 1: Beautiful restaurant, too.
- 56:18Speaker 4: Yes.
- 56:18Speaker 1: It's a beautiful place. My dentist, OB, OB Bowden. How
- 56:24Speaker 1: we start talking about your dentist?
- 56:25Speaker 3: He a part owner.
- 56:26Speaker 1: He a part owner. Oh, that's dope.
- 56:27Speaker 3: Oh, he need to call me. See, you hook me
- 56:30Speaker 3: up with all your friends. Now, shout out to Chef.
- 56:32Speaker 3: He said, I can come there and do something for
- 56:33Speaker 3: the wedding. Yo, dentist need to call me. I'm on
- 56:35Speaker 3: a mission to fix some sad teeth. So, call me.
- 56:43Speaker 3: But yeah, shout out to Santa's Barbecue. That food was something.
- 56:46Speaker 3: I ain't gonna lie. I ain't stop thinking about it.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Yeah, that is good.
- 56:48Speaker 2: I might go get some of that catfish now. That
- 56:51Speaker 2: catfish is something from heaven.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Yes. It's something from heaven.
- 56:57Speaker 3: Brisket nachos.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Yes, brisket nachos.
- 56:59Speaker 3: That was so good. What kind of burger was that?
- 57:02Speaker 1: A jalapeno brisket burger. I didn't taste the burger. The
- 57:06Speaker 1: burger was fine.
- 57:07Speaker 3: Ryan said it. Ryan had it. He said it was
- 57:08Speaker 3: so good.
- 57:09Speaker 1: It was so good. I had half of it. I
- 57:11Speaker 1: know you and Ryan took that. It was one burger.
- 57:12Speaker 1: They split it and left. I ain't getting none of that.
- 57:15Speaker 3: He was nothing.
- 57:15Speaker 1: They didn't tell us about it or nothing. They kept
- 57:17Speaker 1: that quiet. I saw it. I was like, well, I'm
- 57:20Speaker 1: going there. But I was so happy because y'all was
