Transcript
- 0:15Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's Thursday. That means
- 0:18Speaker 1: we're going to talk about pop and Bravo. And I've
- 0:21Speaker 1: got my two new friends here. It's Christine and Stacy
- 0:24Speaker 1: from the podcast Keenan and Lacan give you dejabout where
- 0:27Speaker 1: they discuss the show step by step.
- 0:29Speaker 2: You guys, they're not just fans. They were on the show.
- 0:32Speaker 2: They're the stars the show. That's right, we were, we
- 0:36Speaker 2: were then.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Mary Payne, thank you so much for having us. I
- 0:41Speaker 3: am an old school bunkie. I like to think pretty
- 0:44Speaker 3: much from day one. Yeah, so it is just it
- 0:48Speaker 3: is beyond a thrill, beyond an honor, to beyond. I
- 0:51Speaker 3: just I can't. I'll never really get over it.
- 0:54Speaker 1: You're so funny and that's just like the craziest thing ever.
- 0:58Speaker 1: And you know, Keisha is a huge fan and she's
- 1:00Speaker 1: had you guys on her show.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Oh yes, Stacy's done. Stacy has done her show too,
- 1:05Speaker 4: Libra Lounge.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Yes, yes, that's right.
- 1:08Speaker 3: I love Keisha, I love Kimberly and Katie. But I
- 1:11Speaker 3: can't help but I'm just always a little jealous Mary Payne,
- 1:13Speaker 3: that you're like friends, better friends with them than with me,
- 1:17Speaker 3: and with us, so I listen. I'm a member of
- 1:20Speaker 3: the patroon. Of course, you know all of the friends.
- 1:25Speaker 3: I'm a little jealous, so every time we get to
- 1:27Speaker 3: come on, I'm like, well, maybe maybe we'll be better
- 1:29Speaker 3: friends after listen.
- 1:31Speaker 1: If you give me your number, I'll just start texting
- 1:34Speaker 1: you random stuff. And that's how we've become friends.
- 1:36Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Can we do that? Yes?
- 1:40Speaker 2: I would, Yes, Yes, I'm.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Going to Bravo Con and I'm going to be giving
- 1:44Speaker 1: all my Bravo hot takes. We're going to try to
- 1:46Speaker 1: do one every day. Last time we were just doing
- 1:48Speaker 1: like man on the Street. We just have our phone, like, okay,
- 1:52Speaker 1: here's what happened, and then I would talk and give
- 1:53Speaker 1: the phone to Ingrid and then at the end of
- 1:55Speaker 1: the day I would send her the audio clips that
- 1:58Speaker 1: we just did on the phone and she would make
- 2:00Speaker 1: it into like a daily show.
- 2:03Speaker 2: We had so much fun doing that.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Who did you Who were you most excited about seeing
- 2:08Speaker 4: it Bravo Con?
- 2:10Speaker 2: You mean last time or this coming time.
- 2:12Speaker 4: This coming time?
- 2:13Speaker 2: This coming time?
- 2:14Speaker 1: I think I'm very excited and hopeful to meet marysol
- 2:18Speaker 1: from Miami, marysl Patten. So I've become friendly with Miguel Luciano,
- 2:23Speaker 1: who was on a few weeks ago.
- 2:25Speaker 2: So he has that.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Great Instagram account where he imitates all the housewives and
- 2:30Speaker 1: he's just like a dude with a beard, and for
- 2:31Speaker 1: some reason it works. He's an acting coach, so you know,
- 2:36Speaker 1: he's he's one of your ILK actors and he's so funny.
- 2:40Speaker 1: But he has become very close with Marysaol and I'm like,
- 2:43Speaker 1: can we make it happy? Can you help me meet her?
- 2:45Speaker 1: He promises he will, so seeing bingerscrossed, I love her.
- 2:49Speaker 2: She's my jam.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Oh my god. Well what are you? What are you wearing?
- 2:53Speaker 3: What do you wear for an event like this?
- 2:55Speaker 2: Well? I think because so this is my third one.
- 2:57Speaker 1: The one in New York was different because it was
- 2:59Speaker 1: in New York, so you is very imitch like jeans
- 3:02Speaker 1: and you had to have like a light jacket.
- 3:03Speaker 2: You know, it's a different vibe.
- 3:05Speaker 1: The Vegas is freaking hot and you gotta So I'm
- 3:09Speaker 1: gonna wear all three days to Bravocon itself. I'm wearing
- 3:12Speaker 1: just like a short black dress and have a hot
- 3:14Speaker 1: pink little cross body bag.
- 3:17Speaker 2: And that's it.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And that's it because you got to you gotta travel light.
- 3:20Speaker 1: You gotta have your tennis shoes. It's a lot of walking.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, smart little capsule wardrobe. And what I think
- 3:26Speaker 3: is always so hard about Vegas is that it is
- 3:29Speaker 3: one hundred and fifteen outside and then they have it
- 3:32Speaker 3: air conditioned to fifty five inside, so you need you
- 3:36Speaker 3: need a parka when you go in and you go
- 3:38Speaker 3: out and you just melt. It's very, very challenging. And
- 3:41Speaker 3: then the walking, you know, everything is huge, everything.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Is really far.
- 3:46Speaker 3: So if you want to wear cute shoes, forget about that.
- 3:48Speaker 3: I just know Vegas is a real challenge.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Look wise, how do you guys feel about Vegas in general?
- 3:57Speaker 4: I kind of have a love hate with Vegas. I
- 4:00Speaker 4: there's times I've gone I'm just been like, oh, this
- 4:03Speaker 4: place is the worst. And then there's other times I've
- 4:05Speaker 4: gone like I went in the spring and went to
- 4:08Speaker 4: the Sphere and never left the Venetian, the cold, amazing
- 4:13Speaker 4: air conditioned, lovely sweet of the Venetian and had this
- 4:18Speaker 4: dinner and walked to the Sphere and walked back and
- 4:20Speaker 4: it was amazing, it was so easy. That's kind of
- 4:23Speaker 4: the Vegas I like, well, the last.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Time we went to the Sphere, we've been twice now
- 4:30Speaker 1: for dead shows. And my husband's like, and we're walking
- 4:33Speaker 1: back to the hotel.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I'm like, I just want to die. I'm just like,
- 4:37Speaker 2: my back hurts, my legs hurt, I'm sweating from every
- 4:42Speaker 2: section of my body. And he's like, this way we're walking.
- 4:46Speaker 2: If you can see this so AND's up, you can
- 4:47Speaker 2: see the Eiffel Tower. We're almost there.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I'm like, I just really really hate Vegas and I
- 4:55Speaker 1: shouldn't and I shouldn't hate it as much as I do.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I know people live there, but nobody lives like in
- 5:00Speaker 1: the Vegas that you go to when you go, do you
- 5:02Speaker 1: mean nobody lives there?
- 5:03Speaker 4: No one's living. Like with the yard Stick of Beers, let's.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Hope no, and the girls handed out pictures of themselves
- 5:12Speaker 1: and you're like, no, thank you.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, I used to hate it. I used
- 5:17Speaker 3: to hate it. I thought it was depressing. Yes, I
- 5:20Speaker 3: just hated the whole concept. And then I had a
- 5:22Speaker 3: friend who just said, you know, you just have to
- 5:25Speaker 3: appreciate it for exactly what it is it's and just
- 5:29Speaker 3: embrace what it is and don't desire for it to
- 5:32Speaker 3: be anything other than what it is.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Go for a short time.
- 5:35Speaker 3: And just and ever since then, I have adopted that
- 5:37Speaker 3: and I freaking love it. I wat it now and
- 5:40Speaker 3: you know, I think if you focus, I mean, you
- 5:42Speaker 3: have Bravo com which is going to be so fun.
- 5:44Speaker 3: But then all the food. There's so much good food now.
- 5:47Speaker 4: The food is amazing. The restaurants are so good.
- 5:52Speaker 1: We have gone to that Martha Stewart restaurant twice and
- 5:56Speaker 1: I will say both times one of the best mails
- 5:58Speaker 1: I've ever had, and also so expensed of, and also
- 6:00Speaker 1: the best white cosmo in the world.
- 6:04Speaker 4: So Martha Stewart like a white cranberry.
- 6:07Speaker 2: It's a white cranberry.
- 6:09Speaker 1: And the guy last time gave me the recipe and
- 6:12Speaker 1: I tried to make it for my friends. I had
- 6:13Speaker 1: my friends over and I go, you guys, I'm going
- 6:15Speaker 1: to make you guys the best drink.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Ever blah blah blah. And only one of them liked it,
- 6:19Speaker 2: and I was like, oh more for me. Yeah, sounds delicious,
- 6:24Speaker 2: so good, just ice cold.
- 6:27Speaker 1: They bring out this bread basket that you just wouldn't
- 6:29Speaker 1: even I'll send you a picture once we've become texting friends,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I'll send you a picture. And we had steak and
- 6:35Speaker 1: it's just the experience of it because it's the exact furniture,
- 6:39Speaker 1: that exact replica of Martha's home at Bedford, New York.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And it's all muted tones and it's exactly like what
- 6:47Speaker 1: she cooks with in her kitchen and then the certain flowers.
- 6:51Speaker 2: It's just all very you know, ain't or retentive type A.
- 6:55Speaker 2: And I can handle it for a meal. Yeah, it's good.
- 6:58Speaker 3: See that's Vegas. It's the theater of it.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Where are you going.
- 7:01Speaker 3: To get something like that? It's so ridiculous, it's so
- 7:04Speaker 3: over the top. It's so perfect.
- 7:06Speaker 1: You know, it's her only restaurant she has in the
- 7:08Speaker 1: world is there, and it's tiny. It's probably as big
- 7:11Speaker 1: as the top floor of my house. It's a tiny restaurant.
- 7:14Speaker 1: And so I love that. So yeah, we're going to
- 7:17Speaker 1: see watch what Happens a Love one or two nights unclear.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I got to look at the schedule, and we're going
- 7:22Speaker 1: to two of those Bravo paloozas where you go into
- 7:25Speaker 1: the small rooms and you get two free drinks and
- 7:29Speaker 1: they have past apps and you just mingle with the
- 7:31Speaker 1: Bravo labs. And that is expensive, but that is how
- 7:36Speaker 1: like you kind of like get somebody to you know
- 7:39Speaker 1: when you come on my show, when I you know,
- 7:41Speaker 1: and we hand out a personal fan and people you know,
- 7:43Speaker 1: and everybody loves that. Ladies of a certain age, we
- 7:45Speaker 1: love to get a fan.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I love a fan.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I love a fan.
- 7:50Speaker 3: So wait, so which housewife of Salt Lake City are
- 7:53Speaker 3: you most dying to see?
- 7:56Speaker 1: Well, Mary Cosby, of course. I don't think she will
- 8:01Speaker 1: give me the time of day. Maybe she'll insult me
- 8:03Speaker 1: and then I'll be honored. I'm not sure. I've met
- 8:07Speaker 1: Lisa Barlow, no scratch. Met Meredith Marx and Brooks last time,
- 8:12Speaker 1: gave him a personal van, super nice. Met Heather Gay
- 8:17Speaker 1: and Angie. We hung out within the airport, like literally.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Heather Gay rode the tram with us in the airport
- 8:21Speaker 1: because she was lost and Angie and her husband had
- 8:23Speaker 1: left her.
- 8:24Speaker 2: So we're like, we'll go with us.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Otherwise, I don't really care about being Britney Bateman. I'm sorry.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I'll just jump on that draink Broadwyn I think is
- 8:35Speaker 1: very interesting. Maybe I'd like to meet Bronwin.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Bronwyn would be my pick, aside from Mary, who I
- 8:40Speaker 3: think is so sweet. She's such a doll. I can't imagine, are.
- 8:44Speaker 4: You watching the same show. Yes, have you watched it
- 8:48Speaker 4: for seasons? So she will cut you down so quick? Yes,
- 8:56Speaker 4: he is like, but I do. I do enjoy her.
- 8:58Speaker 4: I think she's really funny, although we don't think she's
- 9:00Speaker 4: trying to be.
- 9:02Speaker 2: No. I think she's just so blunt, you know, and
- 9:05Speaker 2: I like it. I like Mary.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I think that if you watch Miguel, like I was
- 9:10Speaker 1: just talking about the way he takes just like Mary
- 9:13Speaker 1: Cosby as a kindergarten teacher, you know, And I'll be like,
- 9:16Speaker 1: I don't know who told you that Colerine was good.
- 9:18Speaker 1: It's not you know, that kind of thing, and that's
- 9:20Speaker 1: how she is.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I yet.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Okay, so I told you guys, we're gonna talk about
- 9:26Speaker 1: Bravo today, so you have to watch Salt Lake City
- 9:28Speaker 1: because you're like.
- 9:28Speaker 2: We watched Below Deck. I was like, boo, let's talk
- 9:31Speaker 2: about Salt Lake City. So both of you have caught up.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Is this correct?
- 9:34Speaker 5: Yes?
- 9:35Speaker 3: Yes? But I have, Okay, earlier season, so I am
- 9:37Speaker 3: basing Mary on this current season we're in. I think
- 9:40Speaker 3: she's the nicest one of all of them.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Okay, well, going back a little bit and then just
- 9:45Speaker 1: do it, Just do a light google on Mary's church
- 9:49Speaker 1: and what happened with her. You could go listen to
- 9:51Speaker 1: the Bravo docket ladies talk about the.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Lawsuits between her and her mom. It's rip.
- 9:59Speaker 1: So yeah, it's not always been great with old Mayor,
- 10:02Speaker 1: but she's always been hilarious, always been hilarious. I mean
- 10:06Speaker 1: there's been seasons Stacy where they'll be like, Mary, do
- 10:09Speaker 1: you want to come sit by us?
- 10:10Speaker 2: She's like, no, no, why would I want to sit
- 10:12Speaker 2: over there? Okay?
- 10:15Speaker 1: Or sometimes she's like I'm not participating and just go
- 10:17Speaker 1: sit in the production man and go you want to
- 10:18Speaker 1: find me, I'll being.
- 10:19Speaker 2: The production man. Yeah, I don't. I don't want to.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I don't want to do anything. You ladies are disgusting.
- 10:24Speaker 3: I mean I appreciate the integrity of it. I gotta say,
- 10:27Speaker 3: especially just purely based on this season. I get it,
- 10:31Speaker 3: you know, and I love the Yeah, the integrity.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Okay, all right, we'll call it that. So listen, this
- 10:39Speaker 1: is a very good season so far. And the fact that.
- 10:43Speaker 2: You guys were like, we only watched below Deck and
- 10:45Speaker 2: they this episode was a Below Deck crossover meant to be.
- 10:50Speaker 4: I mean, I was in my element. I was so
- 10:53Speaker 4: excited about the fact that, like I when I was
- 10:56Speaker 4: watching this last night, I was like, Oh, it's like
- 10:59Speaker 4: everything I love together. It's all my favorite people, Daisy
- 11:03Speaker 4: and you know, and the captain and then like all
- 11:06Speaker 4: these like crazy ladies. I have never seen an episode
- 11:09Speaker 4: of Below Deck that was so off the rails quite frankly.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Okay, but you know that then they're going to show
- 11:13Speaker 2: the Willow Deck episode that's going to be the other side.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, So here's my question.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I've only watched seasons that have Captain Sandy Captain Lee
- 11:22Speaker 1: of course, and I've never watched I only know about
- 11:27Speaker 1: Captain Jason for the Bravo lure of like he bangs everybody, right,
- 11:31Speaker 1: that's the only like that he does, like and Heather
- 11:34Speaker 1: gay like and then it did on the show she
- 11:36Speaker 1: did she.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Admitted that they had like a like a moment. She
- 11:39Speaker 4: didn't really say exactly what they did, but.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Hook it up and then and then I love the
- 11:45Speaker 3: cancel after the fact. She's like a going this straight
- 11:48Speaker 3: to camera and just go, oh well no, just delete that, Like.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I didn't say that though. Will we have it on tape? Girl?
- 11:55Speaker 1: Yeah, So let's talk about this cruise is I'm not
- 11:57Speaker 1: familiar now Jooo. I recognized m hm because he was
- 12:02Speaker 1: on a season that I watched somewhere at some point.
- 12:06Speaker 4: I think he was on a Captain Sandy season.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I think he was with da I see Daisy.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I didn't recognize And who who was the guy with
- 12:17Speaker 1: the hair with the black hair? What was happening with
- 12:19Speaker 1: that guy's hair? Mike was his same Mike?
- 12:22Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I don't he's a new one. I don't
- 12:29Speaker 4: think he's I think he's just floating on this season.
- 12:31Speaker 4: You know, new people come in all the time. Not
- 12:33Speaker 4: everybody stays around.
- 12:35Speaker 2: He had an Australian accent.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Tired, but he is so.
- 12:39Speaker 2: He had it was like a Donald Trump but black hair.
- 12:42Speaker 2: He's young.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I think he's a deckhand. But I don't
- 12:47Speaker 4: think it was the first time I'd ever seen him.
- 12:49Speaker 4: I don't know, because I haven't seen that. I haven't
- 12:51Speaker 4: seen that below deck season. But but the chef was back,
- 12:55Speaker 4: I mean were, Yes.
- 12:58Speaker 3: He's been around then, Yes, Salty Dog.
- 13:02Speaker 4: I love him.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I love him too. I love how he came out
- 13:05Speaker 2: there and he was like, fuck this, He's like they're
- 13:09Speaker 2: waiting to say hello.
- 13:10Speaker 4: I mean, you know, this is a five star you know,
- 13:12Speaker 4: it's supposed to be a five star experience. When the
- 13:14Speaker 4: chef comes out, changes his coat, yes one, says oh,
- 13:18Speaker 4: thank you so much, and gives the feedback on the food.
- 13:20Speaker 4: He's literally standing there waiting for them to shut up,
- 13:23Speaker 4: and they're all just at each other. He finally goes,
- 13:26Speaker 4: fuck this and looks inside. I mean, it was amazing.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I felt so bad for that entire crew.
- 13:33Speaker 5: You know.
- 13:33Speaker 3: I think it was Daisy right standing there and she's
- 13:36Speaker 3: just kind of horrified. Dog, I mean, yeah, what do
- 13:41Speaker 3: you do.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You're bringing food out and you're like stop swinging your
- 13:45Speaker 1: arm for a minute so I can. And they're like
- 13:47Speaker 1: been flanking food at each other and I'm like, oh
- 13:50Speaker 1: my god.
- 13:51Speaker 3: And then the poor dude has to show up with
- 13:53Speaker 3: the shop back, and hilarious came up, the drinks on
- 13:58Speaker 3: each other at the I mean hilarious. Wow.
- 14:02Speaker 2: That was off perfect.
- 14:04Speaker 4: It was. It was absolutely off the rails. And now,
- 14:07Speaker 4: I mean I feel like Angie getting sick and Mary
- 14:10Speaker 4: not being there. If Mary had been there, I don't
- 14:13Speaker 4: know what would have happened.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Yeah, because she's not a huge Lisa fan. She's not
- 14:18Speaker 2: a huge Lisa fan.
- 14:19Speaker 4: No, Mary but I feel like she would have just
- 14:21Speaker 4: like fueled that fire even more. I mean, do you
- 14:24Speaker 4: think this is going to change everything moving forward? It will?
- 14:28Speaker 4: They're all against her, Lisa.
- 14:31Speaker 1: What was I kind of found what was interesting was
- 14:34Speaker 1: Heather's sort of internal dilemma of oh, I've turned against
- 14:39Speaker 1: my friend. And I think she's always thought Lisa is
- 14:41Speaker 1: the cool girl that would never be friends with me.
- 14:43Speaker 1: And if you go back from season one, Stacy, you'll
- 14:46Speaker 1: see that Heather has always wanted the other.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Girls, like the cooler girls to be friends with her.
- 14:53Speaker 1: And immediately, like at the first season, they're like, we
- 14:56Speaker 1: heard you were a good time girl.
- 14:58Speaker 2: We heard.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Heather's like what, And then you know, she came from
- 15:01Speaker 1: this or her husband's family came from this, like very
- 15:03Speaker 1: well known Mormon family, so she's sort of married into
- 15:07Speaker 1: Mormon royalty.
- 15:07Speaker 2: And then of course now she's bad Mormon.
- 15:09Speaker 1: All this, she's always wanted their approval and for her
- 15:12Speaker 1: to like stand up and be like, Lisa, we all
- 15:15Speaker 1: know you're doing it.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Is really big.
- 15:17Speaker 1: And she had such a moral dilemma that she came
- 15:19Speaker 1: in there and was like she was trying to really
- 15:22Speaker 1: talk to Angie, but Mary was chiming in, She's like, okay, okay,
- 15:26Speaker 1: I feel strong, okay, because she was like going to
- 15:28Speaker 1: go and apologize to Lisa and tell her like she
- 15:30Speaker 1: didn't believe any of it when she believed all of it.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Well, they're all scared of her. I mean, it's why
- 15:35Speaker 4: she tried to get Meredith on her side, because Meredith
- 15:37Speaker 4: is like the lynchpin to Lisa. But she's done the
- 15:40Speaker 4: same damn thing to Meredith. She did it to Meredith
- 15:43Speaker 4: two seasons ago, and they weren't friends for a very
- 15:46Speaker 4: long time. I mean, I one percent believe I think
- 15:49Speaker 4: Lisa is a snake. I think she is a snake.
- 15:52Speaker 4: I think she talks bad about everyone behind their back.
- 15:55Speaker 4: I think she plants stories, and I think she's always
- 15:59Speaker 4: done that. Liar.
- 16:01Speaker 1: She talks about her private investigator that she has and
- 16:04Speaker 1: all that, Like, if you're going to talk about it,
- 16:06Speaker 1: then people are going to assume you're investigating them.
- 16:09Speaker 4: I mean, the lady does protest too much. Literally, you know,
- 16:13Speaker 4: Brittany and and uh sorry who else was it?
- 16:19Speaker 2: Whitney?
- 16:20Speaker 4: Yeah, they were They were most like just asking the
- 16:23Speaker 4: questions at that at the lunch table, and she's the
- 16:26Speaker 4: first one to all of a sudden, gets so defensive.
- 16:28Speaker 4: No one was even accusing.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Her, Right, who brought the cucumber?
- 16:36Speaker 3: I don't, okay, And why anyone brought that cucumber? I
- 16:40Speaker 3: think that was a plant. I think some production person
- 16:44Speaker 3: thought it was really funny. Not for nothing, Okay. Look,
- 16:47Speaker 3: I was an exchange student in the Caribbean. I've actually
- 16:51Speaker 3: been to Canawan, but I was shocked to see it.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Now it was not built up back a million years ago.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Oh it looked beautiful.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it's pretty. I mean the water is gorgeous, but yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 3: didn't used to be built up like that. But did
- 17:03Speaker 3: you see the size of that cucumber? Yeah, it was
- 17:07Speaker 3: very short and a very fat. Now where are you
- 17:10Speaker 3: getting that here? Where in Salt Lake City? It looked homegrown.
- 17:16Speaker 3: It looked to me like something that was purchased in
- 17:18Speaker 3: the Caribbean.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Question, you can't bring fruits and vegetables in and out
- 17:24Speaker 1: like you know, like would you leave Puerto Rico, They
- 17:27Speaker 1: put your bags through a special thing to make sure
- 17:30Speaker 1: you're not bringing any fruits and vegetables and seeds. And
- 17:34Speaker 1: you're like, you got to go through a separate screening
- 17:36Speaker 1: for that. So can you bring a cucumber into another.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Country you're not supposed to. I mean, things like slipped
- 17:43Speaker 4: in the cracks. But yeah, I think I don't.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Think people are checking the bags like leaving the US
- 17:50Speaker 3: and coming into the Caribbean as much. Perhaps right, right,
- 17:53Speaker 3: right right, totally local vegetable, That is my theory. I
- 17:57Speaker 3: do think production planted it just to see, you know,
- 18:01Speaker 3: you know, is someone going to find this when they're
- 18:02Speaker 3: unpacking and you know, make a thing of it. And
- 18:05Speaker 3: then they of course they grabbed onto it and they
- 18:07Speaker 3: ran with it. But I mean, it's ironic to hear
- 18:11Speaker 3: that Heather is the one who's you know, wants to
- 18:14Speaker 3: be cool or wants to be in with these ladies.
- 18:16Speaker 3: I think Heather is the coolest one of them all.
- 18:19Speaker 3: She's the most r backed. I feel like she's the
- 18:21Speaker 3: most truly herself. She seems the least scared of everyone.
- 18:26Speaker 3: But I do find Braunwyn completely fascinating. I thought it
- 18:29Speaker 3: was fascinating that at the dinner when, by the way,
- 18:32Speaker 3: I love her looks. Yeah, I loved the dresses, and
- 18:35Speaker 3: when she showed up on that boat in that be outfit,
- 18:39Speaker 3: and multiple ones of those ladies said, is this fashion
- 18:43Speaker 3: or is it costume.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Because you don't know that she also wears costumes. She
- 18:50Speaker 1: also goes and greets her husband at the airport, like
- 18:52Speaker 1: in a full dinosaur costume. But then she also does
- 18:56Speaker 1: high fashion and says things like Christian Duor only made
- 18:58Speaker 1: three of these jackets, but you could go right now
- 19:01Speaker 1: in eBay and find forty four of them. So like,
- 19:03Speaker 1: she does a lot of high fashion, and she's very
- 19:05Speaker 1: close with Christian Siriana, like he's kind as her guest
- 19:07Speaker 1: to watch what happens live. So she isn't a high
- 19:10Speaker 1: fashion but she also does enjoy like an alligator costume
- 19:14Speaker 1: at the airport.
- 19:15Speaker 3: That was not an alligator costume, that was clearly fashion,
- 19:18Speaker 3: It was clearly couture. I was freaking outraged. I'm still
- 19:22Speaker 3: not over it. I was mad for the entire She
- 19:24Speaker 3: just kind of let it wash over her.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Eye because it was a stupid outfit. Not come on now,
- 19:29Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Okay, it was the drama, the effort, the fun, the
- 19:35Speaker 3: theater of it. Yeah, I just love and I love
- 19:38Speaker 3: that she does it anyhow, getting back to my point here, Okay,
- 19:43Speaker 3: so at the dinner when Bronwyn stirs up all this
- 19:46Speaker 3: stuff and is talking about what you know, what Britney
- 19:49Speaker 3: said about Meredith and about the and then when Heather
- 19:54Speaker 3: brings up the thing about well, Lisa, did you plant
- 19:57Speaker 3: these stories? Bron Wan's like this. When bron thinks that
- 20:04Speaker 3: she did is.
- 20:05Speaker 4: She's the one who said it in the beginning, right.
- 20:08Speaker 2: She's shocked that Heather is confronting Lisa. Is what she
- 20:11Speaker 2: shocked about.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I could see that. But she also just looked
- 20:15Speaker 3: instead of just being like, all right, well now you're
- 20:17Speaker 3: bringing it up, So what Lisa, what's up? She's like,
- 20:20Speaker 3: what like she is? She stayed shocked for a long time,
- 20:25Speaker 3: is what I'm saying. So I don't know. She's fascinating.
- 20:28Speaker 3: But that backless dress, the strong sleeve. I love a
- 20:30Speaker 3: strong sleeve.
- 20:31Speaker 4: I just she looks amazing. I love that dress.
- 20:34Speaker 1: She listen all of them just just bebopping around in
- 20:37Speaker 1: their bikinis. Is just like, Okay, now I have a question.
- 20:41Speaker 1: So you guys know that Real Housewoves Salt Lake City
- 20:44Speaker 1: just redid the iconic Entertainment Weekly cover with Desperate Housewives. Okay,
- 20:50Speaker 1: so there's a okay, so they just redid it in
- 20:52Speaker 1: their own way. And Mary, she's back there standing in
- 20:56Speaker 1: a dress. They're all in bathing suits, and Mary's in
- 20:59Speaker 1: a dress, just a dress in hose and sensible heels.
- 21:06Speaker 2: She was a fool. I have a.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Theory about Mary that I couldn't sleep last night thinking about,
- 21:13Speaker 1: because this is what my brain does when I try
- 21:15Speaker 1: to go to sleep. Mary has mentioned, or it was
- 21:20Speaker 1: mentioned in one of the earlier seasons. Now, Stacey, when
- 21:22Speaker 1: you go back, you can remind us, because I can't
- 21:24Speaker 1: remember now because my brain thinks just go in and
- 21:26Speaker 1: they go out. Mary mentioned on one of the earlier
- 21:29Speaker 1: seasons that she had to spend like two years in
- 21:33Speaker 1: New York when she first married her step grandfather. She
- 21:37Speaker 1: had to send two years in New York because she
- 21:40Speaker 1: had to get all of her odor glands removed. Remember
- 21:42Speaker 1: that Christine shook get all of her odor glands removed.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Unclear unclear, but many people thought while she was there
- 21:51Speaker 1: she also had head to toe skin lightning done. Okay,
- 21:57Speaker 1: that was the rumor. She has said she had something
- 22:00Speaker 1: wrong with your skin. I would like for you to
- 22:02Speaker 1: notice you have never ever seen Mary's legs or arms.
- 22:07Speaker 1: She's always in long sleeves, long pants. Every picture she
- 22:11Speaker 1: has hose on, and sometimes they're an ironic hose, like
- 22:14Speaker 1: like a red hose with a yellow heel to be
- 22:16Speaker 1: fashionable or whatever. But you've never seen her arms or
- 22:19Speaker 1: her legs. So I have a theory that the reason
- 22:23Speaker 1: she's she's on this trip is she's always in a kafftan.
- 22:26Speaker 1: And listen, I'm not getting a bathsuit either, like I'm
- 22:29Speaker 1: not good to I'm not doing it. I also am
- 22:31Speaker 1: going to be in a kafftan, So I get it.
- 22:33Speaker 1: But everything she wears is going to be fully covered
- 22:35Speaker 1: to the wrist to the ankle.
- 22:38Speaker 2: You know.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that is a good point. I mean, I guess
- 22:44Speaker 3: I just kind of took it in stride because she
- 22:46Speaker 3: seems religious. I thought maybe that was a conservative sort
- 22:50Speaker 3: of religious sort of modesty thing gonna you know, show
- 22:54Speaker 3: a lot of skin, but maybe not it.
- 22:57Speaker 1: If somebody knows the answer, I'd love to know, because
- 23:00Speaker 1: she's endlessly fascinating.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Oh she is. Yeah, I have a question. Okay, So
- 23:08Speaker 4: all this stuff that came out about Bronwyn, you know,
- 23:11Speaker 4: twenty years ago, she says it's nothing, she didn't pay
- 23:14Speaker 4: her rent or whatever, and someone is dredging the stuff
- 23:20Speaker 4: up to make her look bad. But then there's this
- 23:22Speaker 4: other thing that was coming out about like fraud and
- 23:28Speaker 4: the penal code, and but I was just gripped into it.
- 23:31Speaker 4: But I didn't have right. She was like, there was
- 23:33Speaker 4: never a mugshot, I was never arrested. But you know,
- 23:36Speaker 4: once again, it had nothing to do with me. It
- 23:38Speaker 4: was like this someone was being investigated at my business
- 23:41Speaker 4: or at my where I worked. That's what she said, Stacy,
- 23:43Speaker 4: you're a lawyer, let's get into it. So tell me
- 23:46Speaker 4: what is this penal code? What could it possibly be?
- 23:50Speaker 4: If you're not charged but you are, you're like your
- 23:53Speaker 4: group dault involved but the case is sealed. What does
- 23:58Speaker 4: this mean?
- 24:00Speaker 3: I was wondering if exactly the same thing I couldn't
- 24:04Speaker 3: I want? Okay, the eviction thing, who cares you got
- 24:07Speaker 3: evicted when you're nineteen? That is just a big nothing right.
- 24:10Speaker 3: The other thing was I felt like I was going
- 24:14Speaker 3: crazy because I'm listening going wait, is this a conviction?
- 24:17Speaker 3: Is it an arrest?
- 24:19Speaker 4: What is it?
- 24:19Speaker 3: It made sense to me what bron Win said that
- 24:22Speaker 3: different crimes can fall under the same statute but different subdivisions.
- 24:27Speaker 3: That makes perfect sense. We have that in the Californian
- 24:30Speaker 3: penal Code as well, where subdivision A could be grand theft,
- 24:33Speaker 3: and B could be identity theft, where you know the
- 24:35Speaker 3: whole statute is maybe theft, right, and then you have
- 24:37Speaker 3: different variations of it underneath. That made sense, But then
- 24:41Speaker 3: I didn't. I just I still don't get what it is. Yeah,
- 24:44Speaker 3: was she charged, but then the case was dismissed? Was it?
- 24:48Speaker 5: What was it?
- 24:49Speaker 3: Was she convicted and then she had it sealed? When
- 24:51Speaker 3: she said sealed to me at least again, I'm only
- 24:54Speaker 3: a California lawyer. I don't practice anywhere else. But to me,
- 24:57Speaker 3: when she said sealed, it sounded like a conviction, just
- 25:01Speaker 3: because that's what you generally get sealed, is a conviction.
- 25:06Speaker 3: You can move back to court and try to get
- 25:07Speaker 3: it sealed. Now you can try to get.
- 25:11Speaker 1: And let me ask you this, why do people do that?
- 25:13Speaker 1: Why do people get things sealed? Like we're having this issue.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I mean, you know, in my world in ninety day,
- 25:19Speaker 1: fiance like Gino and Jasmine are divorced or getting a
- 25:22Speaker 1: divorce and that has been sealed and confidential, and you're like, so,
- 25:25Speaker 1: why why does that get to be sealed and confidential?
- 25:28Speaker 2: And you can't follafoya or try to get it or whatever?
- 25:31Speaker 2: What does it mean?
- 25:32Speaker 3: I mean in California, you can go to court and
- 25:35Speaker 3: seek for your conviction or whatever to be sealed. I mean,
- 25:38Speaker 3: California has laws that I that not every state has.
- 25:41Speaker 5: You know.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Here, you know, employers as far as I know, don't
- 25:44Speaker 3: find out about felony convictions anymore in it generally.
- 25:48Speaker 5: You know.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Wow, yeah, that was a pretty recent law that was
- 25:53Speaker 3: passed here as far as I know. But so you know, yeah,
- 25:56Speaker 3: you can go back and seek to get it sealed
- 25:59Speaker 3: because you don't want those convictions coming up. You know,
- 26:02Speaker 3: you don't want to hide those if you're a juvenile
- 26:05Speaker 3: and you get you know, here, we don't say juveniles
- 26:07Speaker 3: are convicted, but they're adjudicated to have committed a crime.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Those automatically get sealed. So you could have a juvenile,
- 26:13Speaker 3: you know, really serious crime and it would just automatically
- 26:15Speaker 3: get sealed in California. So I don't know, man, I
- 26:20Speaker 3: don't know what went on there. It sure seems like
- 26:22Speaker 3: a conviction.
- 26:23Speaker 4: But but if someone wanted their conviction sealed, it's because
- 26:27Speaker 4: they don't want it getting out, correct. That's the whole point.
- 26:31Speaker 4: So that you can't do any research on it. And
- 26:33Speaker 4: just like when they were asking her about it, like,
- 26:34Speaker 4: just tell us what you did, Like, tell us what
- 26:35Speaker 4: is it about. She's like, I can't talk about it.
- 26:37Speaker 4: I can't talk about it. So she made it sound
- 26:39Speaker 4: like she was under some kind of legal obligation to
- 26:43Speaker 4: not discuss it. But maybe she's not.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Or she's just saying it's sealed so I can't talk
- 26:48Speaker 2: about it, right, But if.
- 26:49Speaker 4: It's about her, I had want so therefore I do.
- 26:53Speaker 4: I don't wish to speak about it. Or maybe it
- 26:55Speaker 4: had to do with a minor I don't know, and
- 26:57Speaker 4: that's why it was sealed, her child or something.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I don't know its identity. Theft is my understanding.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not to me, like she was basically taking
- 27:06Speaker 3: the fifth without using those words that when she was
- 27:08Speaker 3: saying I can't talk about it, she was trying to,
- 27:10Speaker 3: I think, make it seem like there was, but what
- 27:12Speaker 3: would There is no legal reason. It's if it's a
- 27:14Speaker 3: criminal thing, there's no Who were you having a contract
- 27:18Speaker 3: with saying that you're not going to speak about it?
- 27:20Speaker 5: No one?
- 27:20Speaker 3: You know, you're just todding.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I don't know. Granted me, have you ever seen a
- 27:26Speaker 2: more humorless Oh my god, your life?
- 27:30Speaker 4: But why are they together? How long have they been together?
- 27:33Speaker 4: And why he seems miserable?
- 27:37Speaker 1: He's he was miserable last season, and I thought, okay,
- 27:40Speaker 1: well that's it. He came to the reunion and acted
- 27:42Speaker 1: fairly normal, and I was like, Okay, next season, either
- 27:46Speaker 1: he'll be light, he'll be trying to like turn his reputation.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I'm a I'm a fun guy whose wife goes to
- 27:51Speaker 1: the airport dressed like little bo Peeve like I'm fun.
- 27:54Speaker 1: But no, uh, he just went right back to being
- 27:57Speaker 1: grumpy old man that everybody hates.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Do they have a large age gap?
- 28:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to say like forty years.
- 28:06Speaker 3: When they were doing ice cream, I just thought, girl,
- 28:10Speaker 3: he doesn't like you, not at all. Seemed like he
- 28:14Speaker 3: was ready to strangle her. And they're here heaving. This
- 28:19Speaker 3: is super wholesome. You know, they're eating these ice cream Sundays,
- 28:22Speaker 3: and I just thought this is dark because this man
- 28:27Speaker 3: he was beyond annoyed or frustrated. He just seemed like,
- 28:29Speaker 3: I don't I don't like this bitch.
- 28:32Speaker 1: He's like, I don't like this, I don't like these cameras.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I don't like Lisa Barlow. Why would you you know
- 28:36Speaker 1: you're stupid for being on the show. You're stupid for
- 28:39Speaker 1: wanting to hang out with what he says, why would
- 28:42Speaker 1: you want to hang out with? What he means is
- 28:43Speaker 1: why do you want to be on the show? And
- 28:44Speaker 1: she's like, well, I'd like to get my own pot
- 28:46Speaker 1: of money so i can divorce you, which is a
- 28:49Speaker 1: housewife trope for years and years in the past. Right,
- 28:52Speaker 1: just get enough money so you can leave your husband,
- 28:55Speaker 1: which is what we're all hoping she's doing, and we will,
- 28:57Speaker 1: we will start to go fund me so she can't.
- 29:00Speaker 2: But you know he's awful. Okay, now this leads me
- 29:05Speaker 2: to my next question. Legally we can get back to
- 29:08Speaker 2: Salt Lake City.
- 29:08Speaker 1: But legally, since we're on the legal talk, do you
- 29:12Speaker 1: know about Wendy from the Real Housewives of Potomac and
- 29:15Speaker 1: what she's being charged with?
- 29:16Speaker 2: Stacy No? Do you know, Christine?
- 29:20Speaker 4: No? Because people, all these housewives keep getting charged with crap.
- 29:25Speaker 4: Why shady?
- 29:27Speaker 2: Why are they dumb? And this is also one of
- 29:29Speaker 2: the dumbest crimes ever.
- 29:30Speaker 1: I did hear Vicky Gumbelson on Carlos King's podcast talking
- 29:35Speaker 1: about this because this is an insurance fraud and Vicky Gumblson,
- 29:39Speaker 1: of course real ogfoc was Callo Assurance and she's very
- 29:44Speaker 1: into insurance, so she has actually had a lot of
- 29:46Speaker 1: insight into this. So real Housewives of Potomac my area here,
- 29:51Speaker 1: Wendy Osepho and her husband were arrested on like eighteen
- 29:56Speaker 1: felony counts. I think she was fourteen, he was eighteen.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Fell accounts of insurance fraud. They had like they went
- 30:04Speaker 1: on vacation. They said they went to Jamaica and came
- 30:06Speaker 1: back their house was broken into. They said, like twenty
- 30:10Speaker 1: four items were missing. Now, VICKI said, that's a first
- 30:13Speaker 1: red flag. Is if you itemize twenty four items on
- 30:16Speaker 1: your insurance, that's a first red flag because normally you
- 30:18Speaker 1: would just be like jewelry up to a million dollars,
- 30:22Speaker 1: you know, other luxury items up to this, but that
- 30:24Speaker 1: they individualized so many pieces on three different insurance policies,
- 30:29Speaker 1: a jewelry policy, a homeowner's.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Policy, and a third policy.
- 30:33Speaker 1: So then what they did was they said it was
- 30:35Speaker 1: all stolen and they had receipts from every single item,
- 30:39Speaker 1: like from twenty eighteen, receipts of like a product belt
- 30:41Speaker 1: or whatever everything. Then so they claimed it on three
- 30:45Speaker 1: different insurances, which you can't do if you don't tell
- 30:47Speaker 1: the other insurances that you did that.
- 30:49Speaker 2: So they're trying to get it three times.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Then the cops went over to sort of investigate the
- 30:54Speaker 1: scene and were like, so they came in through this
- 30:56Speaker 1: bathroom window. They've got ring cameras around their house that
- 31:00Speaker 1: caught nobody. There's never once ever in this neighborhood been
- 31:05Speaker 1: any theft from anyone, and her parents lived down the street,
- 31:10Speaker 1: and you've got twenty four items that are missing. And
- 31:13Speaker 1: they came in through this upstairs bathroom window which was
- 31:16Speaker 1: just like cracked open, and then like some drawers had
- 31:18Speaker 1: some things thrown out of them, and that was it.
- 31:21Speaker 1: And so the cops went up on the roof and
- 31:24Speaker 1: walked on the roof to kind of see how could
- 31:26Speaker 1: you get up there, how could you do it? And
- 31:28Speaker 1: they tracked in a lot of what they called roof
- 31:30Speaker 1: debris when they came in, But when they went into
- 31:33Speaker 1: the room initially, there's no roof debris. So nobody walked
- 31:36Speaker 1: on that roof and came in that way. They figured
- 31:40Speaker 1: out like it couldn't have been done the way they
- 31:41Speaker 1: said it. Plus they there's like four ring cameras caught
- 31:44Speaker 1: nothing and no neighborhood. Ring camera caught anything and there's
- 31:48Speaker 1: never been a theft in that neighborhood. So they got
- 31:52Speaker 1: busted for insurance. Fought and and Stacy, you'll love this, Eddie.
- 31:55Speaker 1: The husband is a lawyer, and he wrote an email
- 31:59Speaker 1: to his WFE saying, Hey, make sure do you have
- 32:03Speaker 1: any other items we can add because we're trying to
- 32:05Speaker 1: get to the maximum four twenty five that the insurance
- 32:08Speaker 1: will pay out. Do you have any more items? You
- 32:09Speaker 1: forgot the list? Then she got photographed wearing a ring
- 32:15Speaker 1: that she had claimed no.
- 32:17Speaker 2: On a red carpet and it was and it was
- 32:19Speaker 2: a ring.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Then in addition to that, they went and looked, they
- 32:23Speaker 1: did the forensic accounting and found out all this stuff
- 32:26Speaker 1: that they were claiming that they had receipts that they
- 32:28Speaker 1: bought they had all returned, so they were triple dipping.
- 32:32Speaker 1: They had done the insurance and returned the items and
- 32:35Speaker 1: were claiming to get the money back because they had
- 32:38Speaker 1: the receipts when they bought them, but they didn't show
- 32:39Speaker 1: the receipts when they returned them. They went to the
- 32:41Speaker 1: stores they were like, hey, can you look up in
- 32:44Speaker 1: your Louis Vuitton system They're like, oh, yeah, she bought
- 32:46Speaker 1: this first, but she returned it for all fours. So
- 32:50Speaker 1: they did twenty four items and Eddie's being charged for
- 32:52Speaker 1: the eighteen. She's been charged with the fourteen. So somewhere
- 32:55Speaker 1: in there those other items they couldn't figure out what
- 32:57Speaker 1: they did with them.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Isn't that crazy? How stupid?
- 33:00Speaker 1: And he's a lawyer and wrote an email to his
- 33:04Speaker 1: wife saying, listen, some more items we need to get
- 33:07Speaker 1: to that maximum.
- 33:09Speaker 3: I mean, all I can say is everyone is innocent
- 33:13Speaker 3: until proven guilty, right assumption of innocence. The thing that
- 33:17Speaker 3: jumped out to me the most in your whole recitation
- 33:20Speaker 3: of these facts was knowing immediately what was missing, because
- 33:24Speaker 3: in my experience in you know, burglary cases and you
- 33:27Speaker 3: know houses getting you know, knocked over and stuff, people
- 33:30Speaker 3: often have a really hard time figuring out what's missing.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you know.
- 33:35Speaker 3: I mean it's one thing if somebody breaks into a safe,
- 33:38Speaker 3: and you may have taken a photo of your safe
- 33:40Speaker 3: as it looks right before you close the door, so
- 33:42Speaker 3: you have a visual inventory of what's in there. That's
- 33:45Speaker 3: one thing you know that makes sense if the all right,
- 33:47Speaker 3: the safe's empty, all that While that stuff is gone.
- 33:49Speaker 3: But being able to say these twenty four items are
- 33:53Speaker 3: missing from the house that usually doesn't happen. You know, people,
- 33:56Speaker 3: it takes people a week to usually get back to
- 33:59Speaker 3: the cops and go, Okay, we figured it out. The
- 34:01Speaker 3: one you know game system is missing from the family room.
- 34:06Speaker 3: You know, this pair of fancy sunglasses we realized is
- 34:09Speaker 3: not here. But you know what I mean it, Generally
- 34:11Speaker 3: people have a hard time really identifying exactly what's missing, y'all.
- 34:17Speaker 1: I'm a lady of a certain age, and as I've
- 34:19Speaker 1: gotten older, I've really struggled with makeup. I never know
- 34:22Speaker 1: how to actually make it look good, and I can
- 34:24Speaker 1: never find a foundation that doesn't feel heavy or look
- 34:27Speaker 1: cakey or gross on my skin. But I found Jones

- 34:33Speaker 1: complete game changer for me. In case you don't know,

- 35:51Speaker 1: So here's my insurance story. So I had diamond earrings
- 35:55Speaker 1: that my husband gave me for my tenth anniversary. Okay,
- 35:57Speaker 1: I wear them? Am I wearing them?
- 35:59Speaker 2: Now?
- 35:59Speaker 1: I wear them all the time. So we went on
- 36:01Speaker 1: a family vacation, come home, only have one earring.
- 36:05Speaker 2: It's like, oh my gosh, so called the hotel. Of course, No, no,
- 36:08Speaker 2: we don't have it. And I was like, you know,
- 36:11Speaker 2: well a lucky day for somebody. So it was crazy.
- 36:16Speaker 2: So I waited and waited.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I was like, It's going to fall out of a bag,
- 36:18Speaker 1: or I'm going to remember where I put it, or
- 36:20Speaker 1: like I stuck it in the fridge, like something's going
- 36:22Speaker 1: to happen, right, Nothing never happened.
- 36:24Speaker 2: So finally we get in.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Touch with our guy, Alex, our insurance guy that we've
- 36:28Speaker 1: had for twenty five years, and file the claim. So
- 36:31Speaker 1: because we had the receipt and we had the appraisal
- 36:34Speaker 1: from when he gave them to me, we had it all.
- 36:37Speaker 1: So he gave us a check for the original price. No,
- 36:42Speaker 1: I think the market value price of what the earrings
- 36:44Speaker 1: were worth now for two earrings, because they only do
- 36:47Speaker 1: it with pairs. Of course me, I'm like, no, just
- 36:50Speaker 1: give it for me for the one. He's like, no,
- 36:52Speaker 1: they do it as a pair. So I got the check,
- 36:54Speaker 1: sits on the kitchen table. Because I'm terrible a revout
- 36:57Speaker 1: remembering to take I had to go to the bank.
- 36:58Speaker 1: It was back before you could do it on your phone.
- 37:00Speaker 1: I was like, whenever I'll get over there. Kept forgetting
- 37:04Speaker 1: That week, my husband was going on a work trip.
- 37:08Speaker 1: He gets out, but it was like a longer trip,
- 37:10Speaker 1: so he wouldn't just.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Take it as double.
- 37:11Speaker 1: He puts the suitcase on the bed, flips it open.
- 37:14Speaker 1: The thing hits the wall, and my earring flies out
- 37:18Speaker 1: of the suitcase and hits the wall.
- 37:19Speaker 2: It had been in there the whole time. It had
- 37:21Speaker 2: fallen out of my little pouch and it was just
- 37:24Speaker 2: loose in this big suitcase.
- 37:26Speaker 1: And he's like, something just hit the wall. I was like,
- 37:29Speaker 1: so then, of course, now I'm like they're gonna think I've.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Committed insurance fraud.
- 37:33Speaker 1: I call Alex, our insurance guy, like on a Sunday night,
- 37:36Speaker 1: in a panic, and he goes, did you catch the check?
- 37:39Speaker 1: I go, no, I didn't catch the check. He goes,
- 37:41Speaker 1: then you're fine, I'll make a note you claim is canceled.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Rip the check.
- 37:46Speaker 1: And I was like, oh my god, I was so scared.
- 37:49Speaker 1: It's going to be like a slight on my reputation
- 37:51Speaker 1: that I was like a liar. But he goes, has
- 37:54Speaker 1: all the time he goes and you didn't catch the check,
- 37:56Speaker 1: so we're clear. I'm just going to cancel it out
- 37:58Speaker 1: of the system. I was, so I'm just the Can
- 38:00Speaker 1: imagine the stress if you would have done that with
- 38:03Speaker 1: twenty four items equaling over like half an million dollars
- 38:08Speaker 1: five hundred thousand dollars.
- 38:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, good for you for being so honest too.
- 38:14Speaker 4: You know, I think a well is gonna know you
- 38:19Speaker 4: know well, I mean.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Let me tell you what I did think about it,
- 38:23Speaker 2: but I didn't want that to come back on me
- 38:26Speaker 2: in some terrible way later.
- 38:28Speaker 4: No, I mean, yeah, it's it's I mean, it's I
- 38:34Speaker 4: don't know. I keep going back to like that season
- 38:38Speaker 4: of Housewives of Beverly Hills with Erica Girardi.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Yes, listen, but you know you think about all the
- 38:48Speaker 1: break INDs on Housewives, Right there was the bear's the
- 38:51Speaker 1: famous one in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with dreet
- 38:54Speaker 1: But they have ring.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Footage of it.
- 38:56Speaker 4: Oh yeah, no it.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Teddy Mellencamp has had it ring footage of these two
- 39:01Speaker 1: guys jumping over landing on her trash cans, like you know,
- 39:05Speaker 1: they've got ring footage of the people Kyle when all
- 39:09Speaker 1: of her stuff got stolen, the house wasn't occupied yet.
- 39:13Speaker 1: They had moved their stuff in, but they weren't in
- 39:15Speaker 1: it yet, so nobody was there when the house got
- 39:16Speaker 1: broken into, and they had no alarm system set up yet.
- 39:19Speaker 1: But when she talks about it, she goes, these were
- 39:21Speaker 1: like things that my mother gave me. You know, none
- 39:25Speaker 1: of these people have ever been and Toreek would be
- 39:27Speaker 1: the one, but nobody else has ever come out and.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Said, Okay, well this is insurance fraud.
- 39:33Speaker 1: So I don't know if Wendy and Eddie a lawyer
- 39:36Speaker 1: and Wendy had her whole thing. Stacy is she has
- 39:39Speaker 1: like five degrees. She's a adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University.
- 39:43Speaker 1: These are not stupid people.
- 39:46Speaker 4: That's a very weird move for them, very weird, and
- 39:49Speaker 4: to not even like.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Hey, we're going to pay somebody, We'll give them ten
- 39:53Speaker 1: k to creep around our house, just something anything.
- 39:59Speaker 2: They didn't do anything to make.
- 40:01Speaker 1: It look like a break in, nothing like the balls
- 40:04Speaker 1: and the fact that he's a lawyer and he just
- 40:08Speaker 1: he just started a cannabis company too, And all they've
- 40:11Speaker 1: been talking about on the show this season is how
- 40:13Speaker 1: successful it is.
- 40:14Speaker 2: And now you're gonna wonder that's weird.
- 40:17Speaker 5: So are they going to trial or what status is
- 40:20Speaker 5: the case at.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Well, they went in and they their much shots are crazy.
- 40:24Speaker 1: They look like they've been partaking of Happy Eddie cannabis.
- 40:27Speaker 1: They both look stone out of their gourd, and they're
- 40:30Speaker 1: they have three kids. And again, these are very very
- 40:32Speaker 1: highly educated, smart people, and they know they bonded out
- 40:38Speaker 1: or bailed out or whatever bond I guess, and I
- 40:41Speaker 1: think had their passports taken. And no, it's gonna like
- 40:45Speaker 1: they're in the status of they're going to be taking
- 40:47Speaker 1: them to court, so they're either going to have to
- 40:50Speaker 1: flee out. But of course her things have been like
- 40:52Speaker 1: thank you for all the well wishes, I'm home with
- 40:55Speaker 1: my family now, thanks for sending love and light, and
- 40:58Speaker 1: we're like, girl, it's not And she was so hard
- 41:02Speaker 1: on Karen Huber, not hard on, but like everybody was
- 41:05Speaker 1: hard on Karen Youger, another woman on that cast who
- 41:08Speaker 1: went to jail because she had gotten her fifth duy
- 41:12Speaker 1: and so she would She just got out of jail
- 41:14Speaker 1: another woman on that cast, and Wendy was friends with her,
- 41:17Speaker 1: and I'm like, well, you know.
- 41:18Speaker 2: You have to go to jail if you do bad things.
- 41:20Speaker 2: My husband's a lawyer, and.
- 41:23Speaker 4: Well, gonna have to eat those words now, aren't you.
- 41:28Speaker 1: And it's a lot of chatter about do some of
- 41:32Speaker 1: these women do these things because they're trying to keep
- 41:34Speaker 1: up with the lifestyle, right, they want to look like
- 41:38Speaker 1: they have more money than they do to be on
- 41:39Speaker 1: this show.
- 41:41Speaker 4: I would love I just imagine for a second if
- 41:46Speaker 4: I was on one of these housewives shows, I would
- 41:49Speaker 4: be like the poorest housewife possible because all I do
- 41:52Speaker 4: is thrift. People would literally be like, what is happening
- 41:56Speaker 4: with you? I'd be bringing my own sandwiches and the like.
- 42:00Speaker 4: I'd be pulling out stuff from my purse, making so
- 42:04Speaker 4: much fun of me, and I would don't care, Like
- 42:06Speaker 4: I wouldn't care at all. But I think you're right.
- 42:09Speaker 4: I think there is definitely like a keeping up factor
- 42:12Speaker 4: for some of them.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know, like on I'm just trying, Okay,
- 42:18Speaker 1: So Real Housewives of OC. We have Gina and she's
- 42:22Speaker 1: been on a while and she you know, had a
- 42:24Speaker 1: bad divorce and lived in a very small house with
- 42:27Speaker 1: her boyfriend and they each had three kids that all
- 42:29Speaker 1: the kids weren't always there at the same time, but
- 42:31Speaker 1: they literally had a bedroom for the boys and a
- 42:33Speaker 1: bedroom with the girls. And everybody made fun of her.
- 42:35Speaker 1: They're like, it's like going to camp over there with
- 42:37Speaker 1: bunk beds everywhere. But they were living within.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Their means, you know. And now she just got a
- 42:43Speaker 2: new house, which is.
- 42:44Speaker 1: A perfectly lovely probably where she lives, two million dollar house.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Where anybody else lives, it'd probably be a six hundred
- 42:51Speaker 1: thousand dollar house.
- 42:52Speaker 2: But it's a beautiful house.
- 42:53Speaker 1: It's got like four bedrooms, and everybody's like, look at
- 42:56Speaker 1: her a little cute little like, oh, our house is
- 42:57Speaker 1: so cute. I'm like, when she owned that house where
- 43:02Speaker 1: they all of the kids all had the monk beds,
- 43:04Speaker 1: she was the only person on the cast that owned
- 43:06Speaker 1: her home.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Everyone else rented.
- 43:09Speaker 4: Right, I mean, it's just like but again, like you
- 43:11Speaker 4: go back to Salt Lake City. I mean, Lisa is
- 43:14Speaker 4: also she's so brutal with is it Angie? Is she
- 43:19Speaker 4: the one she's Oh, she usually spends her her vacations
- 43:24Speaker 4: in a trailer. Oh, she's never been on a boat.
- 43:27Speaker 4: This is gonna be so good for her. Like it's
- 43:30Speaker 4: it's so brutal, the way she talks about her.
- 43:34Speaker 1: I've met Angie and her husband in real life again
- 43:36Speaker 1: at the airport and on the way home from Bravo Khan.
- 43:39Speaker 2: So nice. The husband was so nice. So we at
- 43:42Speaker 2: Bravo Khan give out I don't have one here, and
- 43:45Speaker 2: normally I have one right at the ready.
- 43:47Speaker 1: We give out these poker chips and I'm just looking,
- 43:52Speaker 1: I can't believe I don't have one poker chips. And
- 43:54Speaker 1: we went up to him and like, oh, we met
- 43:55Speaker 1: you at the so and so. We gave you the fan,
- 43:57Speaker 1: the poker chip, whatever. And her husband pulled out the
- 44:00Speaker 1: poker chip from his pocket.
- 44:02Speaker 2: He goes, I kept this. I thought this was so cool.
- 44:05Speaker 4: They were so nice, I'm sure.
- 44:08Speaker 2: I mean she's tiny. Angie is tiny. I bet five
- 44:11Speaker 2: feet tall. Tiny.
- 44:12Speaker 5: Oh wow, yeah, you can see she's very petite. I
- 44:16Speaker 5: mean she's she's definitely charming. You know, she can turn
- 44:20Speaker 5: on the charm. She seems really nice. I mean that
- 44:22Speaker 5: scene with her dad, you know, it was so sweet.
- 44:25Speaker 3: You know, their relationship did seemed really really sweet, and
- 44:29Speaker 3: you know, just kind of how she is with the
- 44:30Speaker 3: crew on the boat.
- 44:31Speaker 5: She's she's very charming.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Love Angie, Love Angie. I love her and Mary's friendship.
- 44:38Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, it's so interesting. I mean, she was
- 44:41Speaker 4: so mad at her after that that dinner, like so
- 44:47Speaker 4: pissed off, and like I was like, oh, that's the
- 44:49Speaker 4: end of them. And then they, I mean they definitely
- 44:51Speaker 4: like came back together. But that whole argument was she
- 44:54Speaker 4: came over and she's like, let's just, you know, mend fences.
- 44:57Speaker 4: She's like, I was mad at you because you were
- 44:59Speaker 4: making fun of my farts. And I was dying at
- 45:03Speaker 4: that conversation.
- 45:04Speaker 2: I was like what.
- 45:05Speaker 4: He's like, what just what do you what? I mean?
- 45:08Speaker 2: She I didn't tell you. I would. I would be
- 45:11Speaker 2: mad about that too.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I would be mad if I said, listen, tootored, I'm sorry,
- 45:16Speaker 1: and then if you brought it up for forty five
- 45:18Speaker 1: more minutes, I'd be like, Okay, I could have.
- 45:20Speaker 2: Just blamed it on the dog.
- 45:21Speaker 1: I was being honest, but when she kept bringing it up,
- 45:24Speaker 1: I would be mad to him, like you're trying to
- 45:26Speaker 1: make fun of me and embarrass me. And there's cameras
- 45:28Speaker 1: here and right, yeah, and that's really what I'm mad about.
- 45:31Speaker 1: You made fun of me passing gas. Mary talks about
- 45:34Speaker 1: passing gas a lot. Though it's kind of a thing,
- 45:36Speaker 1: she'd loves to talk about it. She's the opposite of me.
- 45:40Speaker 1: I don't discuss it.
- 45:42Speaker 2: So I was like, but even you guys, even on
- 45:45Speaker 2: this episode with the blowdeck crossover, she goes in the
- 45:48Speaker 2: bathroom and comes out, was like, whoa, Oh.
- 45:52Speaker 4: Yeah, no, she is fully she's the one who's bringing
- 45:56Speaker 4: it up. I mean, yeah, I've heard her talk about
- 45:59Speaker 4: it many times.
- 46:01Speaker 2: She's like, now I'm ready to eat? Yeah, WHOA ready
- 46:04Speaker 2: to go?
- 46:05Speaker 1: It's like, oh moore, Angie's over there about to throw up,
- 46:07Speaker 1: and you're talking about your pooping and you're eating and uh.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Every time they showed Angie, she's.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Just laying like a mummy, like Iran or something.
- 46:17Speaker 4: I know what a nightmare. I mean, let me ask
- 46:20Speaker 4: you a question about like Lisa and Meredith when all
- 46:24Speaker 4: of that came out, and Lisa looks at Meredith and
- 46:27Speaker 4: she was like, you better have backed me up, You
- 46:30Speaker 4: better have not. I mean, she was so intense with this,
- 46:35Speaker 4: like and of course, and then Meredith is like backpedaling.
- 46:38Speaker 4: I did I did, which By the way, all she
- 46:42Speaker 4: said was.
- 46:47Speaker 5: My massive dog is breaking out.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Okay, go ahead, Chris, go ahead, Christy.
- 46:54Speaker 4: I get the feeling that Meredith just doesn't she like
- 46:58Speaker 4: doesn't want to get involved. She just wants to throw
- 47:00Speaker 4: it under the rug. She doesn't want to have another
- 47:02Speaker 4: fight with Lisa. She doesn't want to be she doesn't
- 47:04Speaker 4: want to be on the offensive with her. She just
- 47:06Speaker 4: wants to be like, well, we don't know when. We
- 47:07Speaker 4: all just want to move forward.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Right, But that's not going to happen. And Lisa Lisa
- 47:16Speaker 2: going you better have had my back, You better have
- 47:17Speaker 2: my back. That was interesting because I was like, what's
- 47:20Speaker 2: that about?
- 47:20Speaker 1: Because Stacy, there have been other seasons four, three seasons
- 47:26Speaker 1: ago where Lisa got caught on a hot mic.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Stacy, this is why you have to go back. Lisa
- 47:31Speaker 2: got caught on a hot mic.
- 47:34Speaker 1: She went into the bedroom and she's speaking to her
- 47:37Speaker 1: producer and she goes, I can't believe Meredith.
- 47:39Speaker 2: That Meredith with her fake family, that poses and she's
- 47:42Speaker 2: fucked half in New York. She's the biggest whoreor da
- 47:44Speaker 2: da da da, her fucking fake family. She talks about
- 47:47Speaker 2: her family. She talks about her being a whore. She says,
- 47:49Speaker 2: she fucked happened New York and it's bad. And then
- 47:54Speaker 2: she comes out and pulls her microphone and goes take this.
- 47:56Speaker 2: I was like, too late, girl. So they've had some
- 48:02Speaker 2: real problems, the two of them.
- 48:04Speaker 4: Oh yeah, for sure.
- 48:05Speaker 5: Lisa is so funny one because she's so you know,
- 48:09Speaker 5: savage when she goes after.
- 48:10Speaker 3: People, but then she's so fragile too. You know, she's crying.
- 48:15Speaker 3: It's like she's cut to her core. Those are those
- 48:19Speaker 3: are funny types of people where they're so you know,
- 48:23Speaker 3: so aggressive and come on so strong, but then they're
- 48:26Speaker 3: so hurt and so vulnerable, and you know, it's it's
- 48:30Speaker 3: a funny contradiction that she's got going on.
- 48:33Speaker 1: I was worried about her sitting out on that like
- 48:36Speaker 1: dive pad off the back of the boat. I was like, girl,
- 48:41Speaker 1: And at one point they showed it and they backed
- 48:43Speaker 1: away and I was watching them like my big television.
- 48:45Speaker 2: I was like, are those fish or so many fish?
- 48:49Speaker 2: Is fish?
- 48:49Speaker 4: Right?
- 48:50Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 48:51Speaker 4: I'm actually very surprised because on a couple other episodes
- 48:54Speaker 4: of Below Deck they don't like when people are drinking,
- 48:58Speaker 4: and then that far that close to the water. They're
- 49:02Speaker 4: usually like, you can't be out here, can't really be
- 49:05Speaker 4: You got to be like behind the barrier. So I
- 49:08Speaker 4: was actually quite surprised if they let her be out there.
- 49:09Speaker 4: I don't think anyone wanted to touch her. I think
- 49:11Speaker 4: everyone was scared after that.
- 49:13Speaker 1: And then Brittany came out there was crouching down. I
- 49:15Speaker 1: was like, sit all the way down, you're gonna fall,
- 49:17Speaker 1: You're gonna fall, and say, season, you don't know, you
- 49:20Speaker 1: haven't watched, you don't know that. Britney's boyfriend is a
- 49:25Speaker 1: wayward Osmond. He's Jared Osmond. He is a cousin of
- 49:30Speaker 1: the Osmonds, or he is a child of an Osmond whatever.
- 49:35Speaker 1: His last name is Osmond, and that's of course Mormon royalty,
- 49:39Speaker 1: so that's why they're always.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Like this Jared guy is such a Jared. He looks
- 49:44Speaker 2: just like the Osmond's. He's got that square head and
- 49:47Speaker 2: the big teeth. Yeah, he looks just like him.
- 49:50Speaker 5: That I mean talking unicorn stuffed animal was wild.
- 49:55Speaker 1: No, No, we did see a preview that it ends
- 49:59Speaker 1: up in water. So somebody just gets mad enough at
- 50:02Speaker 1: her to throw it in the water. She had on
- 50:05Speaker 1: a very unfortunate top. In one she was talking to
- 50:10Speaker 1: Rohmin in the closet. I took a picture of it.
- 50:12Speaker 2: I was like, let somebody somebody told her this isn't like.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Let's see if I can pull it up so you
- 50:18Speaker 2: guys could just see what I'm talking about. This was
- 50:20Speaker 2: a very unfortunate top.
- 50:22Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I definitely thought it was going to come down.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I was like, what she kept new boobs, new boobs
- 50:29Speaker 1: who disc like I get it, but yeah, yeah, so
- 50:33Speaker 1: of this cast.
- 50:35Speaker 2: If you had to go on a cruise and you
- 50:39Speaker 2: can pick two people, who would it be?
- 50:43Speaker 4: I would pick Heather for sure. I think she's definitely
- 50:47Speaker 4: the nicest of all of them, and I'd probably pick Hmmm.
- 50:54Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 50:56Speaker 4: I mean, I feel like Whitney and I could get along.
- 50:58Speaker 4: She just seems like she could just be easy in
- 51:01Speaker 4: front times not a lot, So I think they'd be
- 51:05Speaker 4: the most fun to go with, although Mary would be hilarious.
- 51:08Speaker 4: But I'm also afraid of Mary. I'm low key afraid
- 51:10Speaker 4: of Mary.
- 51:11Speaker 2: She would insult your outfits.
- 51:13Speaker 4: She told everything about me. What do you bring in
- 51:16Speaker 4: snacks on this boat? Get out of here?
- 51:18Speaker 2: Who told you to bring that?
- 51:20Speaker 5: That was good for you.
- 51:21Speaker 2: You should be drinking. What about you, Stacy, who would
- 51:25Speaker 2: you bring?
- 51:26Speaker 3: I love Mary, I can't help it. I would say Mary,
- 51:29Speaker 3: And I think I would probably go with Heather. I
- 51:32Speaker 3: think Heather is just the coolest and the most relaxed. Yeah,
- 51:36Speaker 3: and down to earth, I think, I think and I
- 51:38Speaker 3: think they would be good with each other too.
- 51:42Speaker 2: I think Heather is still from Caesar's Fast. Heather is
- 51:45Speaker 2: still wary and afraid of Mary a little. You could
- 51:48Speaker 2: tell by the way she she talks to hers, like, Okay.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Mary, thank you, because Stacy in hears past, Mary has
- 51:55Speaker 1: called her inbread. She said you look in bread. And
- 51:59Speaker 1: then Heather went to her house and said, now that
- 52:01Speaker 1: we're friends, do you still think I look in bread?
- 52:03Speaker 2: And She's like, yeah, you do. She's called her fat.
- 52:07Speaker 2: She's like, I mean who they have had.
- 52:10Speaker 4: Was that Mary was least?
- 52:12Speaker 2: No, that was Genshaw, Rip, that was Ginshaw.
- 52:16Speaker 5: Wait, Heather.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Her best friend Jenshaw said she looked like Shrek.
- 52:25Speaker 4: There's a lot of mean girl stuff that has been
- 52:29Speaker 4: directed at Heather, and it's so sad because I just
- 52:33Speaker 4: I feel like she's I feel like she's been through
- 52:35Speaker 4: a lot in her life, like leaving the Mormon Church.
- 52:39Speaker 4: You know, she's got the kids, She's just I don't know.
- 52:43Speaker 4: I just feel like I always felt bad for her.
- 52:44Speaker 4: I felt like she was just such a nice person
- 52:46Speaker 4: who just I think was so excommunicated from her own family,
- 52:51Speaker 4: and that's got to be really hard, even if that's
- 52:53Speaker 4: what you choose.
- 52:54Speaker 1: So I liked Heather at the beginning of the season
- 52:58Speaker 1: when they were on that Came trip. I liked that
- 53:01Speaker 1: she was honest and said, you know, her last child
- 53:04Speaker 1: was going to college and she was ready for the break.
- 53:06Speaker 1: She was like, I'm not sad about it. And I
- 53:10Speaker 1: felt that way when both of my kids went away.
- 53:11Speaker 1: I mean, one came right back, but both of my
- 53:14Speaker 1: kids went away to college, and I didn't.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Feel that what am I gonna do?
- 53:18Speaker 3: I have to talk to every day.
- 53:19Speaker 2: I got to check and see what.
- 53:20Speaker 1: They're eating, and oh my god. I didn't feel that way.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, good, I get.
- 53:23Speaker 2: A little break, you know.
- 53:24Speaker 1: And maybe that is a selfish part of me, but
- 53:27Speaker 1: you think, like I remember the last day my son
- 53:30Speaker 1: went to high school, and I thought I never have
- 53:31Speaker 1: to make a school lunch again. It was such a
- 53:33Speaker 1: good feeling. It's the same thing I talked about on
- 53:36Speaker 1: the show. The day that you realize you don't have
- 53:38Speaker 1: to get in the pool anymore with your kids, Like
- 53:41Speaker 1: the day that you don't have to get in the
- 53:42Speaker 1: pool because they can swim and you don't have to
- 53:44Speaker 1: get in the pool. These are like milestones where you're like, Okay,
- 53:47Speaker 1: I'm actually gonna be able to sit and read my book,
- 53:49Speaker 1: or I don't have to get up at six point
- 53:51Speaker 1: thirty to make a school lunch that he's not going
- 53:53Speaker 1: to eat anyway, he's gonna leave school and go to
- 53:56Speaker 1: five guys.
- 53:57Speaker 5: You know.
- 53:58Speaker 1: So I felt for her because I felt like Bron
- 54:02Speaker 1: Whin had such an opposite thing. But Bron was like,
- 54:04Speaker 1: I had my kids so little and had so many
- 54:06Speaker 1: hard years that I want to keep my daughter close.
- 54:09Speaker 2: And that's fine too, that's everybody.
- 54:11Speaker 1: It was because I have friends who are just like
- 54:14Speaker 1: heartbroken about their kids going to college, and I'm like, Okay,
- 54:18Speaker 1: I don't care that much. I'm like, I just they're
- 54:21Speaker 1: gonna they're gonna be a home. And maybe because my
- 54:23Speaker 1: kids went to camp for a month in the summer
- 54:25Speaker 1: that I'm more.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Used to it. That was hard because they were little. Yeah,
- 54:29Speaker 2: you know, twenty and twenty two years old. And if
- 54:31Speaker 2: they're gone for a.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Week, all right, I'll see you in a couple of weeks.
- 54:33Speaker 1: You know, I'm checking in. It's not like I don't
- 54:35Speaker 1: have them on location. It's located anytime I want.
- 54:38Speaker 4: You also have a very full life, Mary Payne. You
- 54:41Speaker 4: have a lot of other children in the Bravo and world,
- 54:46Speaker 4: so you have to look after them.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Well yeah, yeah, and I think but I mean like
- 54:51Speaker 1: Heather has a very full life, and I think Bronwin
- 54:53Speaker 1: has a very full life. She's got to deal with
- 54:55Speaker 1: that terrible, terrible husband, that terrible terrible mother, and she's
- 54:59Speaker 1: got a there's rescue dogs that poop all over her house.
- 55:02Speaker 5: Okay, Kim, we got Can we talk about Muzzy? Sure,
- 55:09Speaker 5: Jussy is freaking brutal. I could not.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Again, there's so many things from this season at the
- 55:16Speaker 3: show that I am not over. When she informed Bronwyn
- 55:19Speaker 3: that in order for her to I don't know, come
- 55:22Speaker 3: into her own in her life or to become successful,
- 55:25Speaker 3: she needed a dime talking about the husband, I about
- 55:31Speaker 3: died when she said that Mussy's just Muzzy's rough.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Muzzy's terrible, And you think Okay, So here she finds herself,
- 55:39Speaker 1: you know, in a very strict religious situation where she
- 55:41Speaker 1: got pregnant and all that, and that was shameful for
- 55:44Speaker 1: the family, but her mom is not let it go.
- 55:46Speaker 1: And the kid's nineteen and by the way, she's right there,
- 55:49Speaker 1: the kid's right there, and you're just like talking so
- 55:51Speaker 1: awful about it, like obviously it turned out, okay, So
- 55:56Speaker 1: she's just an asshole. She's a bad person.
- 56:00Speaker 2: We're fice.
- 56:02Speaker 5: I really felt for Bronwyn and those scenes. I just
- 56:04Speaker 5: felt like, Wow, this is a mom that if she
- 56:07Speaker 5: has that.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Kind of tender feeling towards her daughter, you just she
- 56:11Speaker 3: just doesn't let me let her see it at all.
- 56:13Speaker 3: It's just, you know, I felt like Bronwyn just still
- 56:17Speaker 3: so wants that approval and yeah, and just not not
- 56:22Speaker 3: going to get it. And when they cut back to
- 56:25Speaker 3: Muzzy in that scene where they were talking about the
- 56:28Speaker 3: daughter and the teen pregnancy and stuff, she had this
- 56:30Speaker 3: triumphant look on her face, as though she was happy
- 56:34Speaker 3: that Bronwyn was so you know, kind of vulnerable there
- 56:37Speaker 3: and looking for her approval.
- 56:39Speaker 5: It was it was really really rough.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Muzzy needs to get out of there. But she's I
- 56:44Speaker 1: know Ronan mentioned other sisters and like, go stay with
- 56:47Speaker 1: the other sisters, Like get out of here.
- 56:49Speaker 2: You're the same age as her husband. He's mean to her.
- 56:51Speaker 1: You're mean to her, like we're I think Bronwin should
- 56:56Speaker 1: move to New York, join that franchise and live her
- 56:59Speaker 1: life the sex and the city.
- 57:01Speaker 2: That's what I think.
- 57:02Speaker 3: Yeah, if the other sisters are so great because they
- 57:05Speaker 3: didn't they didn't get pregnant until they were married, well good,
- 57:08Speaker 3: then go be.
- 57:09Speaker 5: With the ones that you approve of. For God's sake.
- 57:11Speaker 2: They probably don't want her either, you know.
- 57:15Speaker 1: And you have to wonder the sisters too, are probably
- 57:18Speaker 1: poisoned against Bronwin as their sister because.
- 57:20Speaker 2: She's like the slut sister.
- 57:21Speaker 1: So they were probably their whole life, like you know,
- 57:23Speaker 1: don't get brawin any attention. And Brahmin's daughter isn't you know,
- 57:27Speaker 1: as good as our daughter. I mean, it's so it's
- 57:29Speaker 1: so layered. It's you know, the religious trauma and the
- 57:34Speaker 1: parental it's a lot with Ramwin.
- 57:37Speaker 2: And I think she's great, great housewives material. She's just
- 57:42Speaker 2: damaged enough, you know, oh good.
- 57:44Speaker 5: And then when Muzzy said the thing when they were
- 57:46Speaker 5: talking about the dad and you know he's you know,
- 57:49Speaker 5: he's in memory care right now with his Alzheimer's and
- 57:52Speaker 5: all this. And then she says, you're going to be
- 57:54Speaker 5: going through this with Tom soon.
- 57:58Speaker 2: Todd's Todd. Sorry, God, Yeah again, I was shocked.
- 58:06Speaker 5: I'm not over it.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's like, God, God only hopes I'll go
- 58:10Speaker 1: through with you soon so you can remember how to
- 58:13Speaker 1: be nice.
- 58:15Speaker 2: A different person with the different personality.
- 58:18Speaker 4: It's not surprising that she has. She just is looking
- 58:23Speaker 4: for love and acceptance everywhere she can. Yeah, you know, yeah,
- 58:27Speaker 4: I mean that's really what all of that's about. I
- 58:28Speaker 4: feel bad for her kid. I feel bad for like
- 58:31Speaker 4: what happened between them. Yeah, it's just it just seems
- 58:34Speaker 4: like she's she's just constantly been, you know, looking for
- 58:39Speaker 4: stability in that in that way, and it's it's ruined
- 58:42Speaker 4: a lot of her relationships because of it. It's sad.
- 58:45Speaker 2: I'd love to get her sisters on camera just to
- 58:49Speaker 2: kind of like Richard's sisters on Beverly Hills kind of
- 58:52Speaker 2: see what's what's doing, what's doing there, because you got
- 58:55Speaker 2: Kathy Hilton, the Kyle Richards and the Kim Richards, and
- 58:58Speaker 2: you get that in her room and you're like, wow,
- 59:01Speaker 2: well yeah yeah, and I'm one of three.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Sisters and we've got stories. All right, everybody, you gotta
- 59:10Speaker 1: go and check out. He didn't then like, can give
- 59:12Speaker 1: you day chef it because they talk about step by step. Now,
- 59:16Speaker 1: I s ill told you last time this show I
- 59:18Speaker 1: know it, but it was ninety one to ninety eight,
- 59:21Speaker 1: so I graduated college in ninety one. Guys, So this
- 59:24Speaker 1: wasn't on my radar so much as like Friends or
- 59:27Speaker 1: Seinfeld was. But I do know about the show because
- 59:31Speaker 1: of course Patrick Duffy was on there so hot.
- 59:34Speaker 2: So has he come on? Who are there?
- 59:37Speaker 1: Like obviously Suzanne Summers has past, But has Patrick Duffy
- 59:40Speaker 1: come on y'all show to talk about episodes?
- 59:42Speaker 3: Yes?
- 59:43Speaker 4: We had him on last season for a Christmas special,
- 59:47Speaker 4: so exciting. And then we're gonna have another little snippet
- 59:50Speaker 4: of him. He and his girlfriend partner, girlfriend Linda Pearl
- 59:57Speaker 4: are Now they started a bread company called Duffy Dough.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: What a great name.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: Yeah, and so it just hit like many Krogers throughout,
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: it's sort of like a Newman's own. They give all
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: of their proceeds, all of their profits back through food
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: Stability Charities, and so we did a whole thing. This
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: was last year when they were doing prototypes and getting
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: it out there, and he came over and we made
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: from the starter in the kit, we made pancakes and
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: we had a so we did a whole video with them.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: So we're actually going to release that right before Christmas.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: I think, Okay, so.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: They get he gives you the starter, it's because I
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: don't understand about the starter.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: It.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: I was like, you got to have the starter. I'm like,
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: I don't know what that means. Can I just make bread? No,
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: you gotta have a starter?
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: Well, you in the kit they had a starter, they
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: had the flour, they had the sugar, everything for you
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: to basically make your own bread. And I think as
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: this went on and they got their deal with Kroger,
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: they just decided we're just going to set up a
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: big kitchen and with your starter, we will just bake
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: the bread. So I think they have now it's more
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: like taken bake.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's good, that's good, delicious.
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: It's my favorite kind of grip Stacy.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: I'd like to know what is happening at your house?
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: Sorry, Unfortunately, gardeners have shown up. So we we have
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: just a never ending construction next door, and now we've
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: added gardeners on top of that, on top of the
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: woodpecker at the top of my five hundred pound dog
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: who has the house bark in the world. Now we're
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: throwing gardeners on top. So you know, it just keeps
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: getting better here at Mary Payne.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Actually, well, I had while we were recording, I had
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: that guy that coming to replace our AC unit pounding
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: above my head walking up there, and I was like, okay,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: and I'm like muting you and I'm muting and I'm like,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: listen you guys.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: It doesn't matter.
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: Because we just didn't hear him at all.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: So it was it was so loud to me. Well, again,
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: this was the perfect episode to talk to you guys
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: about because you're below deck at the Sionado's, so this
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: is going to be on below deck.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Australia, I guess, yes, okay, So whatever that island is
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: is an Australian question mark.
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: I don't know exactly. No, no, no, it was, uh,
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: they do. I mean they generally are off the coast
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: of Australia, but this looked I think this is like
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: adventure is what it's it's okay anywhere.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: It's too many, too many iterations for me. And then
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: they had the sailing yacht and the sailing yacht.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: That's a great one. I really enjoy the sailing yacht.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: Okay, well, I want to make sure. I want to
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: make sure I watch the episode which is the flip
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: side of this. Yes, I want to see.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: Oh so we're going to get some real tea. I
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: think on how everybody viewed them.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's good for me too to sometimes watch some
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: of the Below Deck shows because the people do show
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: up at Bravo Con and people are going up to them, like,
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: who's that is that I recognize? Uh Asia, I recognize
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: as Yeah, but the weirdest voice of all time. It's
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: speaking of somebody who likes to talk about pooping. Yeah,
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: that girl loves to talk about pooping.
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: And for those of you out there, if you have
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: not yet checked out the Reality Gaze and their coverage
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: of all the Below Deck stuff, it is so funny.
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: Their ongoing kind of I don't know, love, hate, whatever
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: you want to call it with Captain Sandy is so
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: freaking funny.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: You have to check it out if you are a
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: fan of that franchise. But you will believe me, you
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: will not be disappointed. I love those two.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: That is so funny. Yeah, Matt is my best friend.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: I'm jealous of him too. I hear all about the
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: I'm texting and we're drinking wine and we're watching a
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: show together, and I'm like, I'm over here. I'm over here.
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: I have a phone that I could text. I could
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: drink a glass of wine and watch the show.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Matt was with me when I almost died? Was that fun?
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: Oh my god? He was there.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: He and Edrid were there with me at Baldead Island.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: They had been there like seven hours, and I was like,
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: let's go. We're going to get our wine, go and
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: the golf cart. We're going to go see some alligators.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: And we went to do that, and then that's when
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: it hit me. Yeah, they were there, and so they stayed.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: They each stayed one or two two more days, and
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: then they were like, well, she's like good out of
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: the hospital. So they left. Oh my god. They were
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: hanging out with my husband and the dogs while I
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: was in the ICU. Yeah, yeah, he was there.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: I'm so stressful.
- 1:04:13Speaker 5: I'm the same I mean you're a miracle person, right
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: does isn't it the case that no one survives that
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: and you did?
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Practically no one.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: It's it's yeah, what I had was one in ten million,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: the guy told me. And then the guy, the author,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Sebastian Junger, wrote a book about it, something about dying,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: and somebody gave it to me.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: I go, I'm not going to read that. I'm good,
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: I did it. I don't need to read about it.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: But I guess he had, you know, saw his dad
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: and saw the light and you know, it sort of
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: turned him. I guess the premise of the book is
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: that he was an atheist before and then he had
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: this near death experience with the same type of anurism
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: that I had.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Yeah, but we didn't die, so that's good. I'm a
