- 0:43Speaker 4: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome.
- 0:47Speaker 1: If you're listening to the Sports Shock Show, I am
- 0:49Speaker 1: the Sports Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you out
- 0:53Speaker 1: there listening land. Glad to be here with you. Brid
- 0:56Speaker 1: in early as usual on Monday, after the weekend of
- 1:01Speaker 1: great football. NFL has two weeks in a row given
- 1:06Speaker 1: us great football games, you know, minus the forty nine
- 1:11Speaker 1: ers and whatever that was. But out there at Seattle,
- 1:15Speaker 1: but thank you yesterday for the games. Been an Electric playoffs.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Divisional round is over. Now we go to the Championship round.
- 1:25Speaker 1: But we're going to talk about those games yesterday. It
- 1:28Speaker 1: is MLK today, So we are going to a co
- 1:34Speaker 1: town to Magic City, get some lemon pepper wings, get
- 1:36Speaker 1: a little booty clapping, and make the day. See And
- 1:40Speaker 1: that's why you all that pre show app where we
- 1:43Speaker 1: were talking about where we're going wrong, the bad Reducer
- 1:48Speaker 1: clapping for that is why we are going wrong, I
- 1:53Speaker 1: tell you. But good morning, my crew is here, command
- 1:56Speaker 1: you giving the bad reduce of that look because he
- 2:04Speaker 1: in one breath he's a freedom fighter and then in
- 2:08Speaker 1: the other he actually owns a brothel. But we are
- 2:12Speaker 1: here on this Monday tonight the National title game. I mean,
- 2:18Speaker 1: he's one of those I don't get it one in
- 2:23Speaker 1: the other and he always finds a justification that if
- 2:27Speaker 1: somebody else does it, it's okay for him to do it,
- 2:30Speaker 1: which is also perplexing. But as I said, good morning
- 2:36Speaker 1: to my crew. But money Man is in the building,
- 2:40Speaker 1: Commanchee Greg is in the building, and the bad Producer
- 2:46Speaker 1: is back. Good morning sports Jock, Good morning, Happy New Year.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I have a dream that the bad Producer got arrested.
- 2:56Speaker 1: It's a nightmare that we live as Jay dream. That's
- 3:01Speaker 1: just Jared's dream that he got arrested. Hey, I got
- 3:04Speaker 1: we got money, We sale money, Jared. We're sharing a
- 3:07Speaker 1: dream and bail. Money doesn't take away that you got arrested. Dude,
- 3:13Speaker 1: you're just out on bail. But in this court, in
- 3:17Speaker 1: this era, if you've been arrested, being out on bail,
- 3:23Speaker 1: it's a good thing. It's a good thing. I'm saying.
- 3:25Speaker 1: If you if you're gonna look for the silver lining,
- 3:27Speaker 1: that's a good one. But I've learned that the key
- 3:31Speaker 1: is to not go to jail. Ye, that's that's just
- 3:34Speaker 1: never get arrested. That is my council say, that's progress.
- 3:37Speaker 1: When I go to key is to not go to jail.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Recognizing that not going to jail is the key is progress.
- 3:43Speaker 1: MLK Day, the College Football Championship is tonight down in Florida,
- 3:50Speaker 1: South Florida. A buzz because the Miami Hurricanes are in
- 3:55Speaker 1: the national game, thirteen and two on the season, taking
- 4:01Speaker 1: on number one Indianna, who took over that top spot
- 4:05Speaker 1: late in the regular season. They are fifteen and oh
- 4:10Speaker 1: and seem to be a team of destiny. But it
- 4:14Speaker 1: sets up well if a team like a Miami or
- 4:18Speaker 1: any team, we're going to beat and be the underdog
- 4:23Speaker 1: and beat the number one team. Being on your turf
- 4:27Speaker 1: helps tremendously. Being on your you know, the Canes are home,
- 4:34Speaker 1: so you get your crowd, you get your city. The
- 4:38Speaker 1: crowd noise is limited. They say tickets around thirty five
- 4:43Speaker 1: hundred dollars just to get in, So somebody's making a
- 4:47Speaker 1: lot of scratch just to get in. That's not the
- 4:51Speaker 1: good seats.
- 4:52Speaker 6: And I heard the parking was like a thousand dollars
- 4:55Speaker 6: right around the stadium in Miami.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Gardens and stuff, they're like parking lots. Well, yeah, it's
- 5:00Speaker 1: probably a five hundred dollars. Uber. Oh, if you're uberinging
- 5:05Speaker 1: from West Palm question, I mean, the rates go up?
- 5:10Speaker 1: How can they how do they get to do that?
- 5:12Speaker 1: About it? The uber? They are in bad? How much?
- 5:14Speaker 1: In prime time? Like that?
- 5:16Speaker 6: Yeah, how do they get to do that? Like during
- 5:17Speaker 6: game time the rate goes up. Like if it's during
- 5:21Speaker 6: the actual game time. If I catch the uber the
- 5:23Speaker 6: North Side drive from right here, probably about twenty five
- 5:26Speaker 6: thirty twenty dollars game time.
- 5:29Speaker 4: It's gonna be one hundred. It's the demand, right, they
- 5:31Speaker 4: say it's the But I thought.
- 5:33Speaker 6: But I thought there should be some kind of government
- 5:35Speaker 6: regulation on you changing prices and stuff, like if it's
- 5:39Speaker 6: game time and on the store by the stadium. If
- 5:42Speaker 6: that's the case, I'm an jack. My price is up there.
- 5:44Speaker 6: You can't do that in.
- 5:45Speaker 1: A well, if you if it's demand, if you if
- 5:49Speaker 1: you look at it by the stadium, if you go
- 5:53Speaker 1: into a store looking for what I would consider a
- 5:56Speaker 1: regular shelf item like a soda, it's probably markked up
- 6:00Speaker 1: fifteen to twenty one percent because of the location of
- 6:06Speaker 1: the store. Now it's not going to be four times
- 6:10Speaker 1: the cost, but it is marked up because of the gas.
- 6:13Speaker 1: But what I what if I do that though, then
- 6:15Speaker 1: that's not no, that's got You're not being a good no. No,
- 6:18Speaker 1: they do that now. The gas near the stadium costs
- 6:22Speaker 1: more than the gas in the suburbs. But it's supply
- 6:24Speaker 1: and demand. When State Farm Arena hosts some kind of concert, YEP,
- 6:31Speaker 1: the parking that's next to them is one hundred and
- 6:33Speaker 1: twenty five dollars. The park in the Diamond deck YEP
- 6:39Speaker 1: one twenty five. Sometimes it's one fifty, and if you
- 6:43Speaker 1: catch the one twenty five, you think ooh. In seventeen
- 6:47Speaker 1: seventy six, a big battle started for what you're talking about,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and basically anything can be pushed up that's not actually
- 6:57Speaker 1: ran by the government. Like gas, I can push any
- 7:01Speaker 1: price until the government comes in. During COVID, people were
- 7:06Speaker 1: pushing the price up on items like toilet paper and
- 7:09Speaker 1: paper towels. Yeah, that's what I'm saying to the government.
- 7:12Speaker 1: But the government is not going to step in for
- 7:14Speaker 1: a game. If you want to go down there and
- 7:16Speaker 1: be fleeing Uber, that's well, no, I'm saying, it's always
- 7:19Speaker 1: that way, and I take it that enterprise, that's free enterprise.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It's peak usage time. You've got sixty Uber drivers out
- 7:27Speaker 1: here and people need seven hundred rides. Well, it's it's
- 7:32Speaker 1: gonna cost you more. It's it's that's that's the American system,
- 7:36Speaker 1: supply and demand. So you would have to unravel everything
- 7:40Speaker 1: from the beginning to get to the bottom of that.
- 7:43Speaker 1: But yeah, that's just natural. And remember you wanted an Uber,
- 7:51Speaker 1: you called me. We used to walk. You can get
- 7:55Speaker 1: to step in. Take the bus. We used to step. Yeah.
- 7:58Speaker 1: They tried to make the game experience commuter friendly. They
- 8:03Speaker 1: got trains and buses and shuttles, all of that right there,
- 8:06Speaker 1: pull up into the stadium. You just walk right into
- 8:09Speaker 1: the stadium or right in the State Farm arena. If
- 8:12Speaker 1: you don't want to use those options, then all of
- 8:15Speaker 1: those expenses you would incur. So that's welcome to America.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I thought he was here the whole time, fifty seven
- 8:25Speaker 1: years old, he'd be in and out. Okay. I know
- 8:29Speaker 1: he likes to want people to believe he was European
- 8:33Speaker 1: or something, but.
- 8:34Speaker 4: No, never that.
- 8:35Speaker 1: It's from the Carolina. It's one of them.
- 8:38Speaker 4: Oh yeah, for sure, or as he likes to say, Caroez.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And don't don't you have different rates as a DJ?
- 8:48Speaker 1: Don't DJs have like holiday rates or special depending on
- 8:52Speaker 1: the venue venue rates? Right, it's not always Sometimes you lower,
- 8:56Speaker 1: sometimes you're higher, based on how you want to set
- 8:59Speaker 1: the price, right am I? Yeah, yeah, big Kenny. Aren't
- 9:04Speaker 1: you the same way based on the size of the crowd,
- 9:07Speaker 1: size of the venue, or just what's going on in
- 9:10Speaker 1: your life? Man, I usually do it for this month,
- 9:16Speaker 1: this much, but on a Sunday, No, I had two
- 9:19Speaker 1: flat tires yesterday. Yeah, so I'm just offering half of that.
- 9:23Speaker 1: But at this moment, you need the half of that, right,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I need the half of that. Yeah, you can get
- 9:31Speaker 1: it today. You can get what you can get it today.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Oh so the game is tonight Miami, Indie Anna at
- 9:38Speaker 1: seven thirty, Carson Beck, the sixth year Carson Beck was interviewed.
- 9:44Speaker 1: He told me, I don't really go to class because
- 9:46Speaker 1: he graduated two years ago. Just letting y'all know. I
- 9:51Speaker 1: don't really I work for Miami. I don't really go
- 9:55Speaker 1: to class. He just got to be enrolled. I don't
- 9:57Speaker 1: know if he has to life take any classes. He
- 10:00Speaker 1: just got to well, why would I need to take classes?
- 10:02Speaker 4: No?
- 10:02Speaker 1: No, just like you, just the facade of yes, I
- 10:05Speaker 1: am a student here. No, I didn't tell you that,
- 10:09Speaker 1: didn't I told you that the Miami Hurricanes gave me
- 10:14Speaker 1: four million dollar n I L deal, Yeah, to come
- 10:17Speaker 1: play football.
- 10:18Speaker 4: I never told you that I enrolled, you assumed. But
- 10:22Speaker 4: he had to be enrolled to play. He don't undertake classes,
- 10:25Speaker 4: but he got to be. He got to be on
- 10:28Speaker 4: the books as a student, as a student. Who told
- 10:30Speaker 4: you that? That's still question, that's that's that's in me.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Have y'all seen have you? Have you seen this in writing? Quick?
- 10:39Speaker 4: You seen a contract? Not not his contract? Okay, so
- 10:43Speaker 4: you didn't see his contract. I'm just going by the
- 10:46Speaker 4: n c A A rule book.
- 10:47Speaker 1: And that changes. That changes day interpretations and college college
- 10:52Speaker 1: change every day changed it's open to interpretations. I'm saying
- 10:57Speaker 1: things based on what state you are in, what conference.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Being enrolled to being like, Okay, you got to have
- 11:03Speaker 4: a student, a couple of amendments. You know, you have
- 11:06Speaker 4: to take classes. But he's got there got to be
- 11:08Speaker 4: something that says he is part of this school.
- 11:10Speaker 1: It's not just that that's in South Carolina, Florida say
- 11:16Speaker 1: they don't really care. Mm hmm, it's got to be sad.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Yeah, he got anybody, he's got to have it because
- 11:26Speaker 4: he's having eligibility left.
- 11:28Speaker 1: He might because he only played in fifty games and
- 11:35Speaker 1: now they're saying you can play up to fifty five games. Oh,
- 11:40Speaker 1: he has five five games left. He can just come
- 11:42Speaker 1: play those five games. Can Wow. That's I mean, that's
- 11:47Speaker 1: how the rules are getting which was what I said
- 11:49Speaker 1: we'll talk about later Comand you sent me a thing
- 11:53Speaker 1: where they have changed it where it's an amount of games.
- 11:58Speaker 1: So that's why the sportshock has been telling you just
- 12:02Speaker 1: let it be football. Carson Becks, you'll be able to
- 12:05Speaker 1: stay at Miami until the University of Miami no longer
- 12:08Speaker 1: wants him as their quarterback. UH in their rule against
- 12:14Speaker 1: how long you can stay but why do we care? Technically,
- 12:18Speaker 1: but as you said, none of you. Every time I
- 12:20Speaker 1: ask you, guys this conversation, none of you have this coming.
- 12:23Speaker 1: We'll have this conversation with me. Why do we care?
- 12:27Speaker 4: Because because the average age of the football players in
- 12:30Speaker 4: Indiana's twenty three. That's the average age of the Green
- 12:34Speaker 4: Bay Fackers. We'll be back more than Sportshock Show right
- 12:36Speaker 4: after this.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Now can I hit it in the morning? Can I
- 12:43Speaker 1: hit it in the mall?
- 12:44Speaker 4: Now?
- 12:45Speaker 7: He?
- 12:45Speaker 1: Can I hit it in the morning? The sun rising?
- 12:49Speaker 1: Why your mom? Now? Maybe you'll win a time cold

- 17:02Speaker 1: any of you out there trying to watch the show.
- 17:05Speaker 1: At the moment. Something's going on with the buffering Comanche.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Greg is doing his best to address it. But as
- 17:13Speaker 1: you know, no matter where you are in the world,
- 17:18Speaker 1: I guess maybe the satellites don't always line up, or
- 17:23Speaker 1: maybe a router turn our rapit ears to the south.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Somebody got and Jared says, our wires are frozen because
- 17:33Speaker 1: we still don't have heat. Okay, so everybody got jokes
- 17:36Speaker 1: this morning, Well we got heat. He throw shade at everybody,
- 17:43Speaker 1: throw shade at you. I didn't take that as shade.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I'm not sensitive. I'm not an opening. We talked about
- 17:49Speaker 1: this last week when you weren't here with the heat.
- 17:56Speaker 1: You're kind of behind.
- 17:57Speaker 6: No, but I'm just talking about the man throwing shade
- 17:59Speaker 6: at you. I'm protecting the brand.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I'm just throwing sha.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Nobody gonna come against this family. He ain't nobody gonna
- 18:07Speaker 4: come against this family.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Son. I'm letting them all know out here right now. Yeah,
- 18:13Speaker 1: I'm not sensitive. And but you that's what you got
- 18:16Speaker 1: me Kenny for. You just see, I don't do don't
- 18:21Speaker 1: do henchman. You see how ain't no hints with them.
- 18:25Speaker 1: You see.
- 18:25Speaker 4: I ain't through being it, you see, I ain't through
- 18:28Speaker 4: being it. That's why you got me and Kenny what not?
- 18:32Speaker 4: The police want to talk to me, he said, Kenny, Yeah,
- 18:36Speaker 4: I don't we move. We got heat today though, mister Jared.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Yeah. And and you know what, all home suffer a
- 18:46Speaker 1: moment where the acs break sometime. So I'm just a
- 18:52Speaker 1: regular human doing regular human things. It seems unfath wing
- 18:57Speaker 1: and happening. Everybody batteries there, everybody power sometimes drop. I'm
- 19:02Speaker 1: sorry you we don't have a view into your home
- 19:07Speaker 1: to tell you when your pilot light went out, but
- 19:10Speaker 1: I'm quite sure if we called every day at some
- 19:12Speaker 1: day something happened. So we do have heat today, and
- 19:19Speaker 1: here it's cold here if you're wondering, while we all
- 19:21Speaker 1: kind of still got our jackets on, we don't have
- 19:23Speaker 1: it blasting uncomfortably, but it's working. I was talking about
- 19:29Speaker 1: the buffering situation, right, and and the Jared mindset of
- 19:35Speaker 1: the worlds job. The Jared thing is the same thing
- 19:40Speaker 1: I was going to talk about today about how people
- 19:43Speaker 1: watch sports. People watch sports like the people on the field,
- 19:49Speaker 1: on the court, or you know, on the diamond are robots,
- 19:54Speaker 1: and everything is going to be right, and everything is
- 19:59Speaker 1: supposed to happen in the way somebody on television told
- 20:02Speaker 1: you it was gonna happen. They're gonna do this play
- 20:05Speaker 1: and he's gonna do this. But what about the other
- 20:08Speaker 1: robots on the other side. They've been programmed to stop me.
- 20:14Speaker 1: So why is your idea what should happen, what route
- 20:18Speaker 1: should be ran? Why is that more important than what
- 20:24Speaker 1: actually happened? And sports, I think you celebrate plays that
- 20:29Speaker 1: work and you condemn plays that don't, as though they
- 20:34Speaker 1: all are guaranteed. Right. Caleb Williams last night just backed
- 20:38Speaker 1: up and threw a ball up. If you watch the
- 20:42Speaker 1: game against the RAM to get the game in the overtime,
- 20:44Speaker 1: he backed up twenty yard. He did. He broke every
- 20:48Speaker 1: rule of quarterback. There is no coach you'll go to,
- 20:56Speaker 1: no practice where the coach will tell then the quarterback,
- 20:59Speaker 1: I want you to run back twenty five yards with
- 21:06Speaker 1: it fourth and four and then throw the ball up.
- 21:09Speaker 1: That's the play. He just desperate people started the bullets,
- 21:13Speaker 1: was shooting. He was looking for somewhere to hide, to
- 21:15Speaker 1: get away from the gunfire, and then tried to get
- 21:19Speaker 1: rid of his weapon.
- 21:20Speaker 4: He threw it just through it, closed his eyes and
- 21:23Speaker 4: shot it landed.
- 21:26Speaker 1: It was That's why it made it so miraculous. He
- 21:29Speaker 1: broke all, he defied everything in making that play. The
- 21:34Speaker 1: Rams last night twenty to seventeen over the Bears Cole Chicago.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Was that the last game in that stadium? Is the
- 21:43Speaker 1: new stadium opening next year? Uh No, they're trying to
- 21:46Speaker 1: get a new stadium. Okayate some time. Okay, So they've
- 21:49Speaker 1: been there trying.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Wow there there they got like they got at least
- 21:54Speaker 4: three more years maybefore. Yeah, because I was so they
- 21:56Speaker 4: haven't started building the other stadium. Well they had, they haven't.
- 21:59Speaker 4: They had a spot, but then that fell through. So
- 22:02Speaker 4: now they're looking for another spot, which could be somewhere
- 22:05Speaker 4: near Gary, Indiana.
- 22:09Speaker 1: And I was wondering they just they just sank a
- 22:12Speaker 1: couple of billion dollars into like upgrades of Soldier Field,
- 22:16Speaker 1: didn't they a decade ago?
- 22:19Speaker 4: It still close, but then they're willing to put in
- 22:24Speaker 4: a couple of billion more to do that's not true.
- 22:29Speaker 1: It might not have been a couple of billion. No, no, no,
- 22:32Speaker 1: not that part I'm saying. Typically people are move on
- 22:36Speaker 1: from stadiums in twenty five years. Well, and and again
- 22:40Speaker 1: I don't understan a lot of the nuanced structure of
- 22:46Speaker 1: sports and their venues eludes me. That mystery of how
- 22:52Speaker 1: this venue is literally only I mean, we live in
- 22:56Speaker 1: dwellings that are one hundred and fifty years old and
- 22:59Speaker 1: will struggle to get the pipes redone. But you've been
- 23:03Speaker 1: in this building two decades and now we're gonna tear
- 23:06Speaker 1: this multi billion dollar structure down. Fiber optics are different,
- 23:10Speaker 1: way different. And that's what I'm saying, all of that stuff.
- 23:13Speaker 1: It's like the cell phone industry or mobile phones. The
- 23:17Speaker 1: technology switches so fast the accommodations change. Football stadiums, how
- 23:23Speaker 1: are going through a different phase. They're becoming entertainment stadium right,
- 23:29Speaker 1: And the only way to create an entertainment stadium I
- 23:33Speaker 1: got to get out of the old football stadium. If
- 23:35Speaker 1: you want to see an old football stadium, we get
- 23:37Speaker 1: in the car and go drive and go to Auburn.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I been that's the nostalgia of it. It's an old
- 23:43Speaker 1: football stadium that off. They can only offer you Nacho's popcorn.
- 23:50Speaker 1: They don't have soda burners and all those things back there.
- 23:54Speaker 1: And the only things they can upgrade is the billboard
- 23:58Speaker 1: because those are outside. It's like they got a space
- 24:02Speaker 1: age video board, right, maybe the biggest in football. But
- 24:10Speaker 1: the stadium is still built because the only way to
- 24:13Speaker 1: do that, it would be to knock the stadium down.
- 24:17Speaker 1: When you call an electrician out to your house, if
- 24:20Speaker 1: he has to go into old stuffed he has to
- 24:23Speaker 1: charge you more. Yeah, because it's not easy access. You
- 24:26Speaker 1: don't have a cross space, right because this house was
- 24:29Speaker 1: built in fourteen.
- 24:32Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 1: So but the Bears did that was a long time.
- 24:35Speaker 1: It might be more than ten years.
- 24:37Speaker 4: Well, I mean still I've seen oh yeah, whenever they
- 24:41Speaker 4: played what they played a couple of seasons at Illinois Campus.
- 24:46Speaker 1: That's when they did upgrades. That's a while ago. And
- 24:49Speaker 1: the same thing with Cleveland. We'll go to break but
- 24:51Speaker 1: the same thing with the Browns. They want to indoor
- 24:53Speaker 1: stadium because they want to turn it into concerts. I
- 24:56Speaker 1: want to hold stuff. Bruno Mars is coming here. He's
- 24:59Speaker 1: doing in the concert at Georgia Tech. All these stadiums
- 25:03Speaker 1: are in. They're all competing to bring you entertained. That's
- 25:07Speaker 1: where the new money is. It's not just built on
- 25:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you football here, right, We'll be back
- 25:12Speaker 1: more to sports jock Show. It's called the Jack.
- 25:16Speaker 18: Say Jack Jack Jack Jack Jack Jack Jack Jack Jack

- 25:36Speaker 19: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 25:40Speaker 19: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 25:43Speaker 19: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Come on, we're smarter than this.
- 25:49Speaker 19: Let's put down the phones and focus on the roads.
- 25:52Speaker 19: Drive safe, everybody.

- 28:07Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job. Wayne in the
- 28:16Speaker 1: red Zo Welcome back to the sport Shot show. The
- 28:40Speaker 1: sports shot Wayne can t before we jump into a
- 28:43Speaker 1: couple of games this weekend. Mike Tomlin, We didn't get
- 28:46Speaker 1: to talk about that. Mike Tomlin stepping down for of
- 28:49Speaker 1: the Stealers. Good to see Mike at his daughter's gymnastics
- 28:53Speaker 1: meet up at U G a U the other day.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Mike Tomlin nineteen years with the Stellers deciding to step
- 29:01Speaker 1: away for a while. Or it could be like a
- 29:05Speaker 1: Bill Cower situation. Where you'd step away and just never
- 29:08Speaker 1: go back after being church finger. Now I just want
- 29:14Speaker 1: to I wonder when was the last time do you
- 29:18Speaker 1: think he made his daughter's gymnastic event? Anytime he was
- 29:24Speaker 1: done with the playoffs. It would have to fit around
- 29:28Speaker 1: the schedule. It would have to fit around the schedule,
- 29:31Speaker 1: whatever that schedule is right now. So if they didn't
- 29:34Speaker 1: think about it, if they had won that game against
- 29:36Speaker 1: the Texans, he wouldn't made it. Would have made it, yeah,
- 29:39Speaker 1: because it wouldn't have fit around the schedule. I always
- 29:42Speaker 1: try and look at the silver lining, like there are
- 29:43Speaker 1: people that go, oh, I can't imagine that it happened
- 29:46Speaker 1: to me. But he's probably relieved in some aspects, like man,
- 29:49Speaker 1: I would have never been able to be here had
- 29:51Speaker 1: I not stepped away. And I think the media and
- 29:54Speaker 1: everybody got hold to the whole. Mike Tumlin never had
- 29:57Speaker 1: a losing season, as some since like that was winning.
- 30:02Speaker 1: That's not actually winning. That's not losing, right, And I
- 30:09Speaker 1: think the Stiller is the organization, even Mike, as I've
- 30:13Speaker 1: done several shows trying to say even Mike started feeling
- 30:18Speaker 1: like maybe I.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Got to go back to the lab and figure out
- 30:20Speaker 4: why I can't seem to get us over break through
- 30:24Speaker 4: that selling anymore. Yeah, I keep getting right there. I'm
- 30:27Speaker 4: in there like a decade and I can't sing. They
- 30:31Speaker 4: haven't won a playoff game in ten years now, So
- 30:35Speaker 4: I've been here nineteen for over half of it, I
- 30:37Speaker 4: haven't won a playoff game.
- 30:40Speaker 6: James Harrison had something interested to say as far as
- 30:44Speaker 6: Mike Tomlin as a coach. He basically said, Hall of
- 30:47Speaker 6: Famer coach, but where is his disciples? You always hear
- 30:52Speaker 6: about coaches coming from other coaches off the tree of
- 30:56Speaker 6: Bill Belichick's or the Sabings, And it made me really think, like, well,
- 31:00Speaker 6: who really left the staff all those years under him
- 31:03Speaker 6: for nineteen years went somewhere else in the NFL as
- 31:06Speaker 6: a head coach or something.
- 31:07Speaker 1: When James Harrison put them out there, Well, I think
- 31:11Speaker 1: that sometimes that's true and sometimes, as we just said,
- 31:18Speaker 1: over the last ten years of his career, who would
- 31:21Speaker 1: you have hired? Because typically those hires come off of
- 31:26Speaker 1: a lot of success. You got to get to the
- 31:28Speaker 1: Super Bowl team, National championship championships and stuff like that.
- 31:33Speaker 1: If you're losing first round of the playoffs, they most
- 31:35Speaker 1: likely lucky to coach your job. Your coaches aren't really
- 31:40Speaker 1: hot ticket items. Yeah. At that point, right the four
- 31:45Speaker 1: teams that are left, their assistance will be You know,
- 31:52Speaker 1: I'm quite sure that the Steelers want to talk to
- 31:54Speaker 1: one of those eight assistant coordinators. Yeah, I don't know
- 31:59Speaker 1: why their job. So, you know, with Mike Tumblin and
- 32:04Speaker 1: I thought it was mutual respect. Mike stepping down, He's
- 32:06Speaker 1: been there almost twenty years, good or bad. The Stealers
- 32:09Speaker 1: have rope with him, and from what I know, the
- 32:12Speaker 1: Stealers were willing to bring him back. But Mike is
- 32:16Speaker 1: a human. So the same question you're asking, he probably
- 32:20Speaker 1: asking himself. Maybe I don't speak gen Z the way
- 32:24Speaker 1: I need it. Maybe I need to get out and
- 32:26Speaker 1: hang with my daughter and stuff and figure out how
- 32:28Speaker 1: to talk to gen Z. Because when I started, I
- 32:32Speaker 1: was dealing with gen X. I started off dealing with
- 32:36Speaker 1: Heinz Ward. Now I'm dealing with a DK Metcalf and
- 32:42Speaker 1: DK Metcalf is battle Now. Yeah, what I'm saying, Yeah,
- 32:46Speaker 1: I'm dealing with someone with physically more talent than my
- 32:50Speaker 1: best receiver when I started. But half of the mentality,
- 32:54Speaker 1: half of the mentality of the high schoolers that used
- 32:58Speaker 1: to skip the last year or so of college to
- 33:03Speaker 1: try and go to the league. I think sometimes when
- 33:05Speaker 1: we look at a Mike Tomlin. You were talking earlier
- 33:11Speaker 1: about how people expect people to be robots. I think
- 33:15Speaker 1: a lot of that is because you've started to critically
- 33:20Speaker 1: think when it comes to watching sports, you sort of
- 33:23Speaker 1: taken the rad peel. Most people don't do any of
- 33:28Speaker 1: their own research. Most people don't dive into a subject
- 33:33Speaker 1: further than what's on the surface. So what you tell
- 33:36Speaker 1: us is what we could believe.
- 33:38Speaker 4: They those Falcon fans exactly.
- 33:42Speaker 1: So when you say he hasn't lost had a losing
- 33:46Speaker 1: season and ten years, that's all they will say when
- 33:49Speaker 1: they start defending Mike Tomplin. But the other part of
- 33:52Speaker 1: that is he keeps he's not won a playoff game either,
- 33:56Speaker 1: but they don't want to talk about that anywhere else.
- 33:58Speaker 1: If you haven't won a playoff game in team years,
- 34:00Speaker 1: you'd have been lost your job.
- 34:01Speaker 4: Can you say that? Can you say that in any sport,
- 34:05Speaker 4: in any sport, in any sport, is that not true?
- 34:09Speaker 1: Not lost? Yeah, we're not ting about to lose the
- 34:13Speaker 1: Super Bowl. We're not talking about lose a AFC, NFC
- 34:15Speaker 1: championship game we're talking about, haven't won a playoff game.
- 34:18Speaker 1: That's twenty sixteen. The Southern miss coach is out of here.
- 34:23Speaker 1: You see, you're gone. Yeah yeah. The Knicks got rid
- 34:26Speaker 1: of Tom Thibodeaux and he took him to the Eastern Final.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Show did he show? Did do that?
- 34:34Speaker 4: And I'm sorry, We're gonna go in another direction.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Wait now, oh oh, y'all got Phil Jackson to come back?
- 34:41Speaker 4: Oh no, no, no, no, pat Rownding, no, no, Rare.
- 34:44Speaker 1: It gotta be real all about no.
- 34:47Speaker 4: No, you want Mike Brown, Mike Brown, lebron old coach
- 34:55Speaker 4: from back in the day.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I just on man, Yeah, Mike brought me and
- 35:03Speaker 1: Mike boys, I ain't putting him down. But Mike ain't
- 35:07Speaker 1: even been to the so you know how I do it.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Ain't got no chip as a head coach over me.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I mean you only play seven guys, He'll
- 35:17Speaker 1: play eight.
- 35:19Speaker 4: We need wee box.
- 35:24Speaker 1: So you don't want to win with seven, You need
- 35:26Speaker 1: to win with eight. We needed. That's how people going
- 35:28Speaker 1: the bab and Duser just sit under his breath about
- 35:31Speaker 1: the hiring in Atlanta. And that's why I said, the
- 35:33Speaker 1: Atlanta fans They just go what's on the surface. They
- 35:36Speaker 1: don't know anymore than the first page. They either reading
- 35:39Speaker 1: the first page or the cliff notes. They didn't go
- 35:42Speaker 1: inside the book. They're badging on Kevin ste Fancy. The
- 35:47Speaker 1: man just got the job. And I don't know anyone
- 35:50Speaker 1: that the Falcons have hired. Maybe since Dan Reeves that
- 35:58Speaker 1: the fans really got by behind. Even the coaches that
- 36:02Speaker 1: got had success, like a Mike Smith when he got
- 36:06Speaker 1: the job. Everybody who it's like Dan Reeves did come
- 36:11Speaker 1: off of the Denver situations, so everybody was behind. That
- 36:14Speaker 1: was in ninety six ninety seven, in that era when
- 36:17Speaker 1: Dan came. But since then it's same thing with any player.
- 36:20Speaker 1: It's like, you come here, it's not like we're gonna
- 36:25Speaker 1: get behind you. You instantly start in a deficit in
- 36:31Speaker 1: Atlanta unless you're all ready.
- 36:38Speaker 21: Poor.
- 36:38Speaker 4: And Nakoula, well, the problem is Kevin Stefanski was mean
- 36:44Speaker 4: to your dure saying.
- 36:45Speaker 1: And that's what it is. Stop now you're talking about
- 36:49Speaker 1: a man and Kevin's defense, he was in Cleveland six years.
- 36:55Speaker 1: In those six years, he was two times, for whatever
- 36:58Speaker 1: it's worth, he was too time NFL Coach of the
- 37:02Speaker 1: Year twice. In those six years, many these many The
- 37:07Speaker 1: biggest thing that happened in the Browns resurfacing and rewaking
- 37:13Speaker 1: under Kevin Stefanski was DeShawn Watson. Sean Watson. They went
- 37:18Speaker 1: and bought some eggs that that was rod Almost No
- 37:23Speaker 1: that day when they got him, they say, it expires
- 37:29Speaker 1: relationship with Deshaun Watson, is what you're saying. No, I'm
- 37:33Speaker 1: saying that the DeShawn Watson experiment, because remember he had
- 37:40Speaker 1: just won Coach of the Year in twenty twenty three,
- 37:44Speaker 1: the Browns were like twelve and five or eleven and six.
- 37:48Speaker 4: They went to the playoffs with Joe Flacco was the
- 37:53Speaker 4: coach of the year. That was two years ago. And
- 37:57Speaker 4: in those two years, Deshaun Watson has not played, not once,
- 38:01Speaker 4: and he was the guy, just like any of these teams,
- 38:03Speaker 4: when you get saddled. The Falcons are saddled now.
- 38:07Speaker 1: With Kirk Cousins. When you go and you go and
- 38:10Speaker 1: get that quarterback, you're on the hook because now quarterback
- 38:14Speaker 1: contracts are about ninety percent guaranteed. So whatever powers that
- 38:19Speaker 1: be decided to bring in Deshaun Watson, they got stuck.
- 38:25Speaker 1: They got stuck with a product they could not put
- 38:28Speaker 1: out there. So the guy we went and got em
- 38:30Speaker 1: paid the highest paid player on my team. He makes
- 38:33Speaker 1: more than the sack Master does not play. You know
- 38:39Speaker 1: how crazy that sounds. The guy were saying, gonna take
- 38:44Speaker 1: us and lead us. It's like, what would you expect
- 38:47Speaker 1: Jim Harbaugh to do without Lamar Jackson. That was the
- 38:50Speaker 1: expectations of Deshaun Watson. I'm not saying Deshaun Watson is
- 38:54Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson. I'm saying the expectations of him was he
- 38:57Speaker 1: was going to be a franchise quarterback.
- 39:01Speaker 4: He's not failing. He's not even playing. He's not even
- 39:06Speaker 4: in uniform. Do he even come to the game. I
- 39:09Speaker 4: haven't seen him in one pick. He's sitting in the
- 39:12Speaker 4: booth the last week, the last but the last two years. No, listen, listen.
- 39:19Speaker 4: We talked about this before. You know, I've always said this,
- 39:21Speaker 4: if I'm paying you, you finna do something.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I don't care if you get on the field, but
- 39:25Speaker 1: you finished standing there in holy board.
- 39:27Speaker 4: No.
- 39:28Speaker 1: I need you to look engaged, sir. I want you to.
- 39:31Speaker 1: I want you to bed. You see at the bottom

- 40:00Speaker 1: an offensive mine to see what they can get out
- 40:03Speaker 1: of Michael Pennix if there's something there. And I would
- 40:08Speaker 1: like to ask the bad producer and he has these
- 40:10Speaker 1: two three minutes during the break to think about it.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Who who is out here that these Falcon fan thinks

- 43:15Speaker 1: game tonight the Hurricanes and the Whosers Miami and Indiana.
- 43:21Speaker 1: If you would have bet that at the beginning of
- 43:23Speaker 1: the season, you would have a lot of money. If
- 43:25Speaker 1: you to put you one thousand dollars so that those
- 43:28Speaker 1: two teams would be in this situation. Yeah, made a
- 43:33Speaker 1: lot of money. Yeah you would. You had a great
- 43:36Speaker 1: vacation here this weekend if you had bet that seven
- 43:38Speaker 1: point thirty to night for that. Carson Beck, a guy
- 43:43Speaker 1: that at one point people thought at Georgia could win
- 43:48Speaker 1: the Heisman and going against the actual Heisman winner in
- 43:54Speaker 1: Mario Rivera. Isn't that his name?
- 43:58Speaker 4: No, no, Fernando, it's uh. I was way off based thought.
- 44:05Speaker 1: I thought it was. I thought it was one of
- 44:11Speaker 1: the Mario and Mario Lope. But when you say, uh,
- 44:15Speaker 1: Mario christop he's the coach in the last twenty years,
- 44:17Speaker 1: the most anonymous Heisman can you ain't someone that wanted
- 44:25Speaker 1: that was that you never heard of like as much
- 44:29Speaker 1: as for me, for this guy before or or like
- 44:34Speaker 1: like even before even before the most anonymous football player
- 44:40Speaker 1: before him, you had heard something about him before the
- 44:43Speaker 1: Heisman running was announced. This guy was like the number
- 44:49Speaker 1: one team in America before anyone even knew who he was.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Fernando Mendoza. Tonight, Carson Beck, who you know? I think
- 44:59Speaker 1: Carson Beck it's still worth a second round draft pick.
- 45:06Speaker 1: I always thought he was second round. I never saw
- 45:08Speaker 1: him as a first I think that there's a freedom
- 45:12Speaker 1: that he might experience in the pros, but he seems
- 45:16Speaker 1: to be locked in. He doesn't use his athletic ability
- 45:19Speaker 1: enough for me. But I think the pros could unlock that.
- 45:25Speaker 1: I was going to say a little better. You think
- 45:27Speaker 1: you think some of what he's doing is saving it.
- 45:29Speaker 1: I mean, you know I didn't. I didn't show enough
- 45:32Speaker 1: to go already, but it's it's coming.
- 45:37Speaker 4: I think the Falcons should draft him in the second round.
- 45:40Speaker 4: That would be he he would sell some tickets. I
- 45:42Speaker 4: think that he would definitely feel the stadium. I think
- 45:45Speaker 4: he'd be a great choice in the second round. I
- 45:47Speaker 4: think he would that you could see what he might
- 45:49Speaker 4: have in a three year period.
- 45:51Speaker 1: And the fans, if he eventually ends up being the
- 45:53Speaker 1: man in the center, would eat it up. Yes, they would.
- 45:56Speaker 1: They would, they would, they would, they would buy the tickets. Uh,
- 46:00Speaker 1: because you're gonna need to from what we've seen in
- 46:02Speaker 1: Michael Pennix and we'll get the question here from the
- 46:04Speaker 1: bad producer, seems like already you're gonna have to maybe
- 46:08Speaker 1: need to start thinking about who's gonna replace him. It
- 46:14Speaker 1: seems like like, what but bad producer? Who is this
- 46:17Speaker 1: magical coach that you know? You got to talk about?
- 46:19Speaker 1: Who's available now that the powers of the bee at
- 46:24Speaker 1: the falcons you think should have grabbed it? Wasn't it?
- 46:29Speaker 10: Not?
- 46:29Speaker 1: In myth? No, Tom tom I'm just saying so I
- 46:32Speaker 1: don't want to say Mike Tomlin because Mike Tumblin said
- 46:35Speaker 1: he ain't well, he said he ain't coaching in twenty
- 46:38Speaker 1: twenty six. So people who are available, who would you
- 46:43Speaker 1: have liked to see them go get? I would like
- 46:47Speaker 1: to see us just wait the process until the whole
- 46:49Speaker 1: season was over. I thought when they took Matt he
- 46:53Speaker 1: would do that. I didn't.
- 46:54Speaker 6: I didn't. There was a lot of interviews out there.
- 46:59Speaker 6: I mean you had Mike from Miami, Mike Williams mc daniels.
- 47:05Speaker 6: I mean he was here with us with dan Quinn's uh.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Staff. There's there's a lot of people that's who your name,
- 47:16Speaker 1: that's the that's your candidate. That wasn't my candidate. But
- 47:19Speaker 1: as for candidate, and then you went to telling me
- 47:21Speaker 1: about the process of the season over and the season
- 47:24Speaker 1: is two games. You never had a candidate. I mean
- 47:26Speaker 1: my thing about it.
- 47:27Speaker 6: When they hot, they made hir Kevin Stefanski in my mind,
- 47:34Speaker 6: I'm a Falcon fan.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Just gotta respect the title as he's the head coach.
- 47:38Speaker 6: I mean, I wasn't gonna go into the down the
- 47:41Speaker 6: rabbit hole and.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Be like, why we didn't do this? Why?
- 47:44Speaker 6: And I'm being honest, I wanted to come here and
- 47:46Speaker 6: ask you tell me why I got to like this,
- 47:48Speaker 6: Why I need to keep Stavin Kevin's fans? Why is
- 47:52Speaker 6: he the guy for us? I want to know. I
- 47:55Speaker 6: mean because I'm listening to everybody else, but I want
- 47:57Speaker 6: to know why you already have decided not. I an't
- 48:00Speaker 6: decided he's not in the show.
- 48:04Speaker 1: I just said because one thing about me different than you,
- 48:08Speaker 1: definitely different than Big Kenny. I don't do drugs much, definite. Wait,
- 48:22Speaker 1: I don't do drugs. I don't occasionally do drug I
- 48:27Speaker 1: don't have a moment to tell anybody about when I
- 48:31Speaker 1: tried something. I don't have it at all.
- 48:36Speaker 12: Right.
- 48:37Speaker 1: I will have a celebratory shot with you, but as
- 48:44Speaker 1: far as going on any I don't have. I tried.
- 48:48Speaker 1: I tried it in college. I just I didn't Inhale.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I don't have any of that. So what I'm telling
- 48:55Speaker 1: you is. I know I heard you earlier huff and
- 49:00Speaker 1: puff that the Falcons hired Kevin Stefanski. That's why I
- 49:05Speaker 1: alluded to that. I've already had four or five Falcon
- 49:09Speaker 1: fans already against the man, me too, So I wanted
- 49:14Speaker 1: to come in and ask you, said, are you trying
- 49:16Speaker 1: to I'm trying to get your expert opinion on hating.
- 49:21Speaker 1: So I'm trying to figure out why, as Falcon fans,
- 49:24Speaker 1: do you already feel that way about this man even
- 49:27Speaker 1: though he comes in here as two times and I'm
- 49:30Speaker 1: quite sure that's a short list NFL Coach of the
- 49:34Speaker 1: Year because he was mean Tis Shuder Nah.
- 49:39Speaker 6: I mean, my thing is the mand didn't have a
- 49:42Speaker 6: better record than Raheem in the last two years if
- 49:44Speaker 6: you look at his record companion here.
- 49:46Speaker 1: But what does that have to do with Raheem? I'm
- 49:50Speaker 1: just I.
- 49:51Speaker 4: Don't have anything to do with Matt Ryan. Matt Ryan
- 49:53Speaker 4: and fire out there. Matt Ryan didn't fire Raheem.
- 49:58Speaker 1: I thought Matt t was on CBS on the podium
- 50:02Speaker 1: reading the ticker just like the rest of oh Man
- 50:04Speaker 1: dang were Rahm right? And then he got a call
- 50:09Speaker 1: soon as he wanted to take his makeup all. Hey man, Matt,
- 50:11Speaker 1: you want to come down here and to be president
- 50:13Speaker 1: of football president? He said the same thing, Well I
- 50:19Speaker 1: would do now we moved on from the GM and him.
- 50:23Speaker 1: We need you to start fresh. Oh yeah, come be
- 50:26Speaker 1: the face. Well, since we're gonna start fresh, what is
- 50:29Speaker 1: president of football? What? What is my child? We just
- 50:34Speaker 1: kind of need to end between. In between everybody is
- 50:37Speaker 1: the hot new thing that everybody's doing. Everybody is trying
- 50:40Speaker 1: to bring back their Hall of Fame quarterback to have
- 50:44Speaker 1: some insight on their team. Okay, because they used to
- 50:47Speaker 1: call that the fall guys, they just now give it
- 50:49Speaker 1: a title. All of them part the coat's been begging
- 50:54Speaker 1: Peyton Manning to come back, to come do anything anything,
- 50:57Speaker 1: just be president of football. It's just no, no, just
- 51:01Speaker 1: be whatever, give yourself what job. That's the guy who
- 51:06Speaker 1: hangs out around That's what Falcon fans, That's what Falcon
- 51:09Speaker 1: fans were respected from. Matt.
- 51:11Speaker 6: You've been there, you on the team. You know other
- 51:14Speaker 6: coaches that's been there with us. You, Matt, you never
- 51:17Speaker 6: played for Kevin Stefanski. I mean, what is the what
- 51:20Speaker 6: do you know about him? That's the thing I want?
- 51:22Speaker 6: Why did you he was Deill, a go between. Somebody
- 51:25Speaker 6: makes the decision.
- 51:25Speaker 1: But that's what I'm saying. That's why we gave me
- 51:30Speaker 1: a person though. But it's not about it's people out there.
- 51:34Speaker 4: Because you said he can't say Tomlin, so there's no Tomlin.
- 51:39Speaker 4: Mike Tomlin said he was not coaching.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Well we should have said we should. We should Tom.
- 51:47Speaker 1: There wasn't another choice, Matt.
- 51:48Speaker 4: Matt brought John Harball here, offered him the same hundred million.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Something with Harball left something right, just like when public
- 52:00Speaker 1: check that came, Bobbay par sales came at times. Probably
- 52:03Speaker 1: they offered him, but he didn't take the money. Giants
- 52:05Speaker 1: probably offered a little bit more. Well, John Harp, No,
- 52:10Speaker 1: the Giant's job is more visible. Yeah, that's what I
- 52:16Speaker 1: asked him when I said this, So so we gotta
- 52:19Speaker 1: do Falcon fans. The only sports job that's alluring here
- 52:26Speaker 1: is the brave.
- 52:27Speaker 6: So you said we got a bomb coach, Then if
- 52:29Speaker 6: it's not that good of alluring, we got to coach this.
- 52:32Speaker 1: No, that's not That's where I look at it.
- 52:34Speaker 6: Then I take it as if we're not if we're
- 52:36Speaker 6: not a Cadillac and we're a Vostwagon. We got a
- 52:39Speaker 6: vost Wagon driving coach, then no, instead of a Cadillac
- 52:42Speaker 6: driving coach.
- 52:43Speaker 1: You don't know what kind of coach you have. And
- 52:46Speaker 1: all I want to do is all those people that
- 52:48Speaker 1: hate it on him stay there. I ain't hating on him.
- 52:51Speaker 1: Don't come if they end up in the playoffs or somewhere,
- 52:55Speaker 1: and don't do that. And that's why I don't like
- 52:59Speaker 1: Falcon fans, because they're all the way against you until
- 53:03Speaker 1: you start winning, and then everybody wants to go. Tell
- 53:06Speaker 1: them the super Bowl. But y'all didn't even like Matt
- 53:10Speaker 1: Ryan before the Super Bowl. But Kevin was mean that
- 53:14Speaker 1: should do it.
- 53:14Speaker 4: We'll be back more the sports jock shows.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Bring him my bowl whipping down, says Mormon. I never
- 53:24Speaker 1: thought I see the damnse again.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Don't bowl Wayne Board of the Sports Josh Hill with

- 53:58Speaker 12: Join the Movement to End Hunger. Feeding America dot org
- 54:01Speaker 12: slash back now brought to you by Feeding America and
- 54:04Speaker 12: the ad Council.
- 54:07Speaker 1: And now back to the Sports Giant, Wayne Yandy.
- 54:12Speaker 2: Center court on Sports News Gossip blah blah blah blah blah.
- 54:23Speaker 1: So you're a philosopher. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, I.
- 54:32Speaker 24: Think very deeply.
- 54:34Speaker 5: I think very deeply. I think very deeply.
- 54:39Speaker 19: When I think, I think very deeply, and about course
- 54:45Speaker 19: seconds a teacher will begin to speak.
- 54:47Speaker 16: I think very.
- 54:48Speaker 1: Deep Welcome back to the Sports Shop show. I'm the
- 54:52Speaker 1: sports shock Wayne Gandy. The Yahoo Sports gave the New
- 54:57Speaker 1: York Giants a grade of A for hiring John Harball.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Y'all who Sports also gives the Falcons an A for
- 55:09Speaker 1: hiring Kevin Stefanski. It says that NFL Coach of the
- 55:14Speaker 1: Year might be Floyda War, but Stefanski has won two
- 55:17Speaker 1: of them. It's rare that a coach like this is available,
- 55:22Speaker 1: and the Falcons saw an opportunity. Roll back back. It's
- 55:30Speaker 1: rare that a coach like that is available, and the
- 55:34Speaker 1: Falcons saw an opportunity. Falcons still have a quarterback situation
- 55:41Speaker 1: to work through, but he's used to that after his
- 55:45Speaker 1: seasons with the Brown. So what you asking me to
- 55:48Speaker 1: come in here and do ain't no thing. I've been
- 55:51Speaker 1: doing that, man. I found Joe Flacco on a beach
- 55:56Speaker 1: in Panama one day and asked, and he wasn't even swimming.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Hey man, you want to come back and try to play?
- 56:03Speaker 1: I've been doing that for four years. All this quarterback
- 56:07Speaker 1: drummer is what I've been managing. Yeah, talented team. He
- 56:15Speaker 1: should be able to elevate the Falcons right away, but
- 56:19Speaker 1: they gave him an A grade. But whatever that's worth.
- 56:24Speaker 1: So Falcon fans, as you always do, you spoil the
- 56:27Speaker 1: moment before the moment even happened. You great the show
- 56:31Speaker 1: before the curtain opens. You've already dissatisfied and nothing has happened.
- 56:36Speaker 1: You have decided that Matt Ryan is wrong for taking
- 56:40Speaker 1: the job. I'm wrong for that. Is he wrong for
- 56:45Speaker 1: taking for the job? Yes, No, Matt is not wrong
- 56:50Speaker 1: for the job. He got. He's got some podcast, he
- 56:54Speaker 1: has some veto power. It's both. He's the wrong person
- 56:58Speaker 1: for the job. Who's wrong for taking He's wrong for
- 57:01Speaker 1: taking the job. Now, you already had a job at
- 57:03Speaker 1: CBS that was paying him well. Right, So the Falcons
- 57:06Speaker 1: come the face of the franchise, the greatest Falcon of
- 57:10Speaker 1: all time? Right, I don't know why nobody wants to
- 57:13Speaker 1: accept that it's the greatest Falcon of all time. But
- 57:17Speaker 1: when you went there, when you sit there, oh, Julio, well,
- 57:20Speaker 1: who was throwing Julio the ball? Right? But what about
- 57:23Speaker 1: what about Roddy White? Well, who's throwing Roddy White the ball? Yeah?
- 57:27Speaker 1: But what about when we had oh, prime time that
- 57:30Speaker 1: was only that was forty games? No?
- 57:33Speaker 4: No, but what about when we have just forty games?
- 57:36Speaker 4: I'm saying, but what about that time we had.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Old Boy? Now? I don't know who Old Boy is,
- 57:44Speaker 1: but I do know the guy's running the ship now
- 57:46Speaker 1: is a young thundercat who gave his whole life to
- 57:50Speaker 1: the Falcon. To the Falcons want an MVP? Whatever Falcon
- 57:55Speaker 1: did that that missed one?
- 57:59Speaker 4: No?
- 58:00Speaker 2: Oh?
- 58:00Speaker 1: Okay, so like sixty years of football, only guy to
- 58:03Speaker 1: ever won the MVP. Okay, So Matt Ryan is now
- 58:07Speaker 1: in a new job to go out finding a coach, y'all,
- 58:10Speaker 1: who feels like it's an opportunity with Kevin's Devans because
- 58:13Speaker 1: you got this mess John Harbo, don't want to come
- 58:16Speaker 1: to this mess man telling me I got the oldest
- 58:20Speaker 1: old man, Kirk Cousins. I might have to work with him.
- 58:22Speaker 1: I don't even want to do that. So you know what,
- 58:25Speaker 1: because outside of the little young tongue of the cat
- 58:28Speaker 1: up there named dark, I'm gonna go see what he got.
- 58:31Speaker 4: And so he took that option. Yeah, they offered me
- 58:34Speaker 4: one hundred million. Now, besides, the.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Only difference is you six percent state and they ten
- 58:38Speaker 1: percent state. But other than that, I'm good. I'm sixty five.
- 58:42Speaker 1: Y'all keep it a little extra four percent. When it
- 58:45Speaker 1: comes to Kirk Cousins, since he's under contract, they either
- 58:49Speaker 1: have to trade him or cut him or something. But
- 58:53Speaker 1: they've got to do something with him. But they got
- 58:55Speaker 1: a fair figure out. When will Michael Pennox be back
- 58:57Speaker 1: because what's wrong with him again? Turned towards a c
- 59:01Speaker 1: L again and yes, just his third year and that
- 59:05Speaker 1: was late in the season. That was like it is
- 59:07Speaker 1: like Michael Pennis's third year right second season. Yeah, the fragile,
- 59:14Speaker 1: fragile quarterbacks to him being back week one. So as
- 59:17Speaker 1: some of your Falcon fans, when you get a chance,
- 59:19Speaker 1: tell them who was.
- 59:19Speaker 4: They supposed to hire, because that's the other part about him.
- 59:25Speaker 4: When they got to want a job, I want this job.
- 59:28Speaker 4: There were so many people at least on my social
- 59:31Speaker 4: media feed that said Mike Tomlin immediately and like he
- 59:36Speaker 4: he's not. He may not coach again. I would be
- 59:39Speaker 4: surprised if he coached in the NFL.
- 59:42Speaker 1: I get it again. That's why I said at the beginning,
- 59:44Speaker 1: I feel like he might be about to pull a
- 59:46Speaker 1: Bill Coward.
- 59:48Speaker 4: Coward was around the same age, but that was the
- 59:51Speaker 4: only name that came that people came up with.
- 59:54Speaker 1: But I don't want to coach. We didn't want We
- 59:57Speaker 1: didn't all horrible. I mean Falcon fans. We wasn't. I mean,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: it wasn't. We wasn't worried about Harball. Wasn't looking for Harball.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: They were they wasn't you know, I'm looking for Well,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: we're still saying because we still haven't heard you give
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: a definitive name of this.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: Did you not hear what I said. I'm respecting the
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: position at this moment. I don't have any money to
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: say yeah your nay, I wish that was sitting in
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: the room with mister Blank to say, hey, come on,
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: come on, sir. I mean, but hey, we thought Matt
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: was in that. We thought Matt was in the room
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: for us. But he doesn't have any veto power. He's
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: just how do you know?
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: And this is why I almost don't like doing sports anymore,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: because the unknowing always got an opinion. Well, so he
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: has got it that Matt Ryan doesn't have.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: Matt would go take a job right, Well, he didn't
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: have any say so.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Why And I'm still trying to how do you know
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Matt doesn't make this blind? Maybe he gave Matt all
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: the power why because he got rid of Rich McKay,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: he got rid of Rahem, and he got rid of
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Terry Funkino. That means there is nobody on the football side.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Mister Blank is eighty five cancer survival. Maybe he only
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: trusted Matt to come in and help him find some people.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Did they hire a GM he has it not, from
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: what I can tell you, hired a coach.
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: I had to get a come mat, So Matt Ryan
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: was brought in to make decisions.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: But you should have got a g But you always say,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: get the gym. First, the GM and the I am
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: he's the president put the GM. But then when the
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: coach down, you gotta fire the coach because if you made.
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: Are you as a cab drive her or uber driver
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: or door dash person to tell me how I need
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: to make decisions in what order?
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: Now, I'm going by what I'm having for former players.
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: What former players should be a GM? First, you only
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: hang out with the GM tag.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: You hang out with all the guys that people threw
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: out the league. Nobody respect the G and he comes
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: in here and loves to give these guys because he'll
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: tell me their name, and I'm like, man, he didn't
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: have no he was just talented.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: But he wasn't the opinion guy. He didn't get voted
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: for captain. Nobody listened to him. He was just the
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: drug dude, the party dude. He was just a guy.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: We loved him though, now because I'm not knocking the
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: drug dude, because we've all we all know one right
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: of all right, we all know that at my rank,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: we'll be back Morter sports, y'all show right after this bro.
- 1:02:55Speaker 17: Taking them on, I'm begging them to stop me playing
- 1:02:58Speaker 17: his old knowing he won't drop it false trappers, somebody.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Said, don't go away?
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: Or of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dandidias dumbing
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: up next.
- 1:03:10Speaker 20: Hey, wouldn't it be great if life came with a
- 1:03:12Speaker 20: remote control? You know, you could hit pause when you
- 1:03:15Speaker 20: needed to or hit rewind like that time you knock
- 1:03:19Speaker 20: down that wasp's nest for that time you forgot to
- 1:03:23Speaker 20: roll up your windows in the car wash. Fantastic, Yeah,
- 1:03:28Speaker 20: or remote control would have come in handy then, well,
- 1:03:31Speaker 20: life doesn't always give you time to change the outcome,
- 1:03:34Speaker 20: but pre diabetes does. With early diagnosis and a few
- 1:03:37Speaker 20: healthy changes like managing your weight, getting active, stopping smoking,
- 1:03:41Speaker 20: and eating healthier, you can stop pre diabetes before it
- 1:03:45Speaker 20: leads to type two diabetes.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: It's easy to learn your risk.
- 1:03:48Speaker 20: Take the one minute test today at do I have
- 1:03:51Speaker 20: Prediabetes dot Org. Life doesn't come with a remote control y,
- 1:03:56Speaker 20: so you're on your own. With the wasps, you have
- 1:03:59Speaker 20: the power to take control of pre diabetes.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Visit do I have Prediabetes dot org? Today?
- 1:04:05Speaker 20: That's do I have Prediabetes dot Org? Brought to you
- 1:04:07Speaker 20: by the AD Council and its pre Diabetes Awareness partners.
- 1:04:15Speaker 26: You do not.
- 1:04:16Speaker 25: I don't have any why share, and we hold the
- 1:04:20Speaker 25: world ransom for Wayne.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Excuse me while I whip this ouse shore broadcasting live
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: and it led her Georgia.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: This is the sports jock Ship with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: You may pill began bull me up?
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Can you bli me?
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: Don you fink me down?
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: That council council pocket yet come to market.
- 1:04:45Speaker 27: It's just joy.
- 1:04:49Speaker 9: I'm gonna do it again.
- 1:04:51Speaker 13: I'm gonna go on.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: The way you may pill.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Vegan coll me see, welcome back to this What Shock Show.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: I'm this what Shock Wing can decod. Morning to you
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: out there listening of the land commands you. Greg mc kenny,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: the funny man himself, Big the bad producer, is in here.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: His first day back this year. And he started right
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: where he was in twenty twenty five, twenty twenty four,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: twenty twenty three, two, twenty twenty one, twenty twenty, twenty nineteen,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: twenty eighteen, twenty seventeen, twenty sixteen, twenty fifteen, twenty fourteen,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: twenty thirteen, twenty twelve, twenty eleven, twenty ten. He's still
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: right there. You ask him a question, he beats around
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: the bush. He has very little insight. He's all emotion,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: and he's just reading the topic. He's not even reading
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: the article. He's just reading what it says at the top,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: the headline, the headline, and so many people that live
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: in this city of Atlanta, that's how they read and operate.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: And then they want to have a conversation with you about.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: Things what They didn't even read the book, They just
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: read the title.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: You ask him a question, same thing I've asked everybody else. Well,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: who else was supposed to take the job. They don't
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: have that theory. Who's running the team? Somebody else running
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: it because Matt don't have no power. Matt is the team.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: He is the GM until he doesn't want to be
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: a GM. What's wrong with Kevin Stefanski? They don't know,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Kenny says, because he yelled at Shaduur. That's all. That's
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: all they mad about is there's two reasons they don't
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: like Kevin Stefanski. One he ain't mike Vic and two
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: he didn't start Shadeur on day one. So until he
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: goes and calls for Shador to be his quarterback in
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: two years, right, and then everybody see him, they would
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: imagine that they was doing the groundwork back then it
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: was ground work. So we leave that topic without any
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: other flip side of information. Mike Tomlin doesn't want to
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: coach John Harball, the Giants, Kevin Stefanski. The Stellers are
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: still on a football watch. They were trying to hire
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Kevin Stefanski, but little conflict there that he had been
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: with the Browns. They might bring in Brian Florees, who
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: fits there pattern a little more because the Steelers like
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: the higher defensive guys. They've never really had an offensive coach.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Chuck Noll, Bill Cower, Mike Tomlin only three coaches they've
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: ever had since nineteen seventy. They most likely would go
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: back with the same kind of defensive minded coach. That's
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: the way the Stills organization likes to play the Giants,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: the same way with John Harball. When the Giants were
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: in their glory days, it started on the defensive side
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: of the ball, and then that's what they want to
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: do with John Harball. So the Falcons their glory days.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Comes a lot of times when it was a brand
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: name offensive coordinator or if the head coach or someone
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: known for calling plays. But everybody wants to go and
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: look at some record over the lies. Oh the two
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: years okay, if you say so, John Morant back in
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: the news. Similar who wants John Moran? Similar to the
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: Falcon job? Who wants it? Kenn's the fancy took the job.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Matt Ryan convinced them that they will be able to
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: make something magical, telling you be telling you me and
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: you son me and we locked the streets down. Y'all,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: where do the Memphis go with John Moran? Do you
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: ride them out? Because in Memphis, you must say, similar
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: to Atlanta, even though Atlanta is three times bigger, four
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: times bigger, you need a brand name.
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: That resonates. They don't really, They're not really big on
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: just y'all a good team. They're not big on y'all
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: a good team.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: And they need a personality that resonates with the fan demographic,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: not the fan base. But y'all, no, I'm saying, and
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: that's the thing. For me to get rid of him
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: in Memphis means alienating that fan demographic. For me to
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: go get him from anywhere means possibly offending my more
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: sensible fan base, because a lot did.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: Y'all go get Douggie Morant. You see what I'm saying.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: If you look at it.
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: You think, like, let's say we switched him and LaMelo
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: ball Ball goes to Memphis, he comes to Charlotte, y'all
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: originally from the Caroline he's South Carolina. But will he
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: can that change him being in that even smaller market.
- 1:10:09Speaker 6: But then again you have to look, hey, you're gonna
- 1:10:13Speaker 6: take on his father. That's another part of the trade,
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: because you know his his father still hasn't Basically he's
- 1:10:23Speaker 6: living his life us vicariously through Job in a sense,
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: because we wouldn't be having these conversations with Job pretty
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: much of his if he wasn't causing a lot of them.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: You know, uh, the media scrutiny a lot of times
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: in the sun.
- 1:10:38Speaker 6: So that's why I said, if you move him, like
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: you said, if you move him from Memphis to Memphis
- 1:10:41Speaker 6: fans that's what they want, a type of like a
- 1:10:44Speaker 6: job morant with that young But if you move somewhere
- 1:10:49Speaker 6: conservative Charlotte or Sacramento, Utah.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Well he's definitely not going to Utah. Charlotte I think
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: is bigger than Memphis, correct, I don't. That's for a
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: city that's bigger. I think Memphis is bigger than Charlotte
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: could possibly be on the same, but I'm not I'm
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: not sure. Memphis seems so much smaller than Shark. Yeah,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: it seems like it's a smaller city than Arte Charlotte.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: John Morant issues them from Jahn Morant more than it
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: does his dad. They are a family package, so you
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: get one, you get the other. And I think the
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Jahn Morant, just like LaMelo Ball and just like Trey
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Young from the surface, are not giving these franchises. Maybe
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: the leadership, oh Ja Morant, can't we say John Moran
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: is the modern days Alan Iverson. I would if anybody
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: held the closest comparison, that would be the AI super talented.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: There's no denying that part of it, but it's everything
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: that you bring along. Even with the talent, we question
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: why we have you here, Like the talent is undeniable,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: and you still make us go. We got to do
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: something about this guy. Were the Sixers were never wanted
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: to part with AI, but they did want him to
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: step into the boots of more of the leader. That
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: was always that was only scrutiny you ever heard. You
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: never even heard any coach ever criticize the court person.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: But it was always they were looking for because you're
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: the guy, You're the franchise.
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: It was so popular, he was the bait. He was
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: looked at as the face of the league for at
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: least a little bit all the time.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: And maybe getting out of Memphis will give Job that
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: freedom to maybe become a little more Who's going to
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: who's willing to accept that experiment to try and acclimate
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: him and his daddy anywhere Kendrick Perkins. I did read
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: an article he said teams need to start bringing Jaw
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: in as a one B and not a one A.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: He thinks Job will flourish kind of And I think
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: when to me when he was saying that, I was
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: reading he's saying, Jaw might need to be like a
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Kevin Durant. Like you already have a steph You already
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: have the leader. You just need a gunslinger. You need
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: someone to come quick. He's actually faster than you. He's
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: a faster draw thing you. But but but but he
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: doesn't but his name hadn't spread across the West. He's
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Doc Holliday right right in a sense. Now, Doc Holliday
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: was willing to be a robin to Whyder's batman is
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: John Moran, don't I don't know that's what I'm saying.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I don't think when he's saying one B he he's
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: saying Robin. He's saying just not the guy. He's saying
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: he's mellow. He's not.
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: He's the Flash, He's not Tony Starts, he's the David Banner.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying. He's not the Hulk, He's Yeah,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: he's not lesser than he's just not the person who
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: puts the leadership together like tons. Captain America was not
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: if you people watch the Avengers, he was not the
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: most powerful Avenger, but he was the most grounded, sensible.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: He's going to make the decision for everybody to get back.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: The Hulk just want to smash or just want to
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: destroy everything. Tony Stark just want to try his new gimmick.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: The Widow is just whatever. Who's ever riding I'm riding.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Captain America was the only one making the decision that
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna try to come up with a plan that
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: all of us come back.
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: So I don't know that it's lesser than like a Robin. Yeah,
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: it's not a that's not a bluebe but he would
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: have taught them.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: A two well, well, we'll be back in order a
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: sports jock show right after this. Pett continuous.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: Don't go away word of the Sports Jock Show with
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: Wayne Dan Das coming up next.
- 1:15:25Speaker 8: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:15:35Speaker 8: life insurance.
- 1:15:36Speaker 18: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:15:38Speaker 18: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: Life insurance was the last.
- 1:15:41Speaker 9: Thing on my mind.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: What about you?
- 1:15:43Speaker 9: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:15:46Speaker 18: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:15:47Speaker 18: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:15:49Speaker 18: survive without me. That's what I made an appointment with
- 1:15:51Speaker 18: the insurance informant.
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:15:58Speaker 18: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 1:16:01Speaker 18: lead my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:16:02Speaker 8: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:16:05Speaker 8: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:16:07Speaker 8: need is the insurance informat to help you build a
- 1:16:10Speaker 8: foundation of security. Because without you, your family will have
- 1:16:13Speaker 8: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?

- 1:17:30Speaker 1: And now back to the sports Job, Wayne Gandy the Game.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Welcome back to this Boy Shock Show. I'm still here.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: I'm still here. I thought, you know, I know, y'all
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: think the bad producer gonna run me off, and I
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: am still here. We have reached a birthday segment of
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: the show, and Big Kenny's birthday was yesterday, now.
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: Saturday, on Saturday, okay, the seventeen, the seventeen, Yes turned
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: fifty nine, fifty nine years old.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Okay. When I met him, he was forty five and spry.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: And I don't know what spry is. Is that a
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: cold word for under the influence? But I went and
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: got us a birthday a drink, A strong drink for
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: a birthday, celebrate your birthday. We were talking about dtor
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Pepper last week and who drinks dr Pepper. I guess
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: we will. And I figured we'll all remember the last
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: time we had a dr. Pepper because we'll have it together.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: We'll have it together for your birthday. Now, Thank you, sir,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I appreciate that. Now I'm gonna ask you weren't here, sir,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: to tell us when's the last time that you can
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: recall having had a dr Pepper? Or how many doctor
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: peppers have you had in your life? You got to
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: have a quiet taste to drink doctor pepper and they
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: see so nobody nobody knows. Nobody knows. So that means
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: what you might have had one, two the last ten years?
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: How many have you had in ten years? Zero?
- 1:19:22Speaker 6: Because when I look at my kids sideways when they
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: ordered doctor pepper, because nobody drinks dr pepper.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Well, that's what we've come to the inclusion that they do.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: They said they are the number to drink out the
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Coca Cola number two. We were wondering why the world,
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: why not just or is that nationwide? Nationwide? We were
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: wondering why they always host the they probably tonight. Yeah,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: like the thousand, one hundred thousand dollars game that they play. Yeah,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: another pepper that tossed the football game. But we figured,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: I figured we opened these up, Okay, can we okay?
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Big Happy birthday to Big Kenny. Thank you very much, sir,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Thanks you very much, and we will all remember the
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: last time. On January nineteenth, it was the last time
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: we had a doctor Pepper. Hey, here's my toast to
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: everything that's good and nothing that's bad. Oh that hit
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: right there? Root beer? What what is that? Root beer?
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: Slash cherry coke slasherry pepsi. But one of those flavors,
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: spice cherry.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Twenty three flavors, right, twenty three flavors. It's just supposed
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: to taste, and I know I taste. It's got a
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: little back of rope tustin. That's what listen, got a
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: little robotusten on the back. It's a little medicine. Well,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: remember that Dr Pepper was a pharmacist and that he
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: was trying to find a wage for people to drink
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: their medicine without it tasting bad. So he was concocting
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: this drink to add it together, and then somebody drank
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: the drink without the medicine and that's how it came
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: of to be. So the medicine flavor that I'm getting
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: isn't an accident. It's well, I don't know if that's
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: still one of the flavors. Yeah, I just sold. Yeah,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: he started just selling the drink without the codeineout the
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: drug in it. Well, it was legal. Yeah, I kind
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: of I might have. You know, if they had kept
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: the codeine, I might have might have been more than
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: two in fifty nine years. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: coming off the weekend and go ahead, sir, No, I.
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: Was gonna ask what I was trying to forgeret who
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: makes doctor pepper? What is a pepsi or coat product?
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I think they're their own individual right it was it
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: was Pepsi, But yeah, I.
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: Thought because like if you if you go to certain restaurants,
- 1:21:56Speaker 6: you know, you can only get certain brands. So that's
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: why I was one into what they were under the
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: Pepsi umbrella or the.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: Cocona Bru Big Kenny fifty nine years old. Gina Davis
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: is the Big seven zero. Delma m luise, if you
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: can forget her, she had a little moment there long
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: kiss good night. Yeah, she's seventy. Luke Grimes forty two,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: The Dream Haquem Elijah one sixty three doesn't get enough
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: talk about as one of the greats a lot of people.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: I don't know why you didn't really see how dominant,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: really unstoppable, unstoppable with a Keem Elijah one. I don't
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: know why he doesn't crack that top ten in people's
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: mind as dominant he was, Nick Foles thirty seven, Questlove
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: fifty five, Francis Tifo twenty eight. Australian Opening is going on.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: I keep selling people it needs to move and right now,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I don't think anyone's in any kind of tennis mode.
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: It's like it gets lost to me. It's there, it's
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: in Australia. It's their summertime.
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: Right is it in? But it's indoors? Right? Would it
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: matter if we had this in April to kind of
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: get closer to the other Grand Slams, they might say
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: it's too cold there and they'll be fall they are.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I'm just saying it's typically Grand Slams, like the like
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: the Triple Crown, those races are consecutives secretly each month.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: When you look at the other three majors for tennis,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: they're all June, July, August. So I just don't know
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: why how this got way up here. It starts in January,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: The next Grand Slam is not until the French Open,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: which is in June. Yeah, it's kind of out of sequence.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: But Francis Trefo twenty eight, I again sixty two, our Man,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: Nick Anderson fifty eight. JJ mccar worthy of the Vikings

- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Mayer is seventy. Stacy Dashed fifty nine. Jonathan Taylor of
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: the Coach twenty seven. JaVale McGhee is thirty eight. Is
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: he still around bouncing off somebody's bench?
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: He's playing in another country, okay, thirty eight years old.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: Katie Sigal peg Bundy seventy two, A little scrappy forty
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: two from the Sopranos. Drea de Matteo is fifty four.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: She makes a lot of money on OnlyFans from all
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: those old guys. Yeah, from all those old guys. I
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: used to love the Sopranos. They click in on that
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: fifty cause she's Isn't she married to Ellen DeGeneres de ROSSI?
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: Okay? But I think Dred Mayo is. She's married to
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: a guy. She played the Nephew's I remember who she had.
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: She thought she was. I thought she was gay.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: Sean wains is fifty five, Mark Messier sixty five, Leonard
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: Fournette thirty one. It's amazing. Imagine he's still young enough
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: to be in the league. Yeah, when you think about it,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: he's thirty one years old. Julius Peppers the Hall of
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: Famer forty six. A Stale is forty six, as well.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: T Higgins of the Bengals twenty seven. Kevin Costner is
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: seventy one. Day Battista is fifty seven, and the great
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: Dolly Parton it's eighty years old. Is Dolly Parton has
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: to go to break here? Big Kenny? Any work here
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: you'd like to? Not a lot of choices, I know,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: I know, but we the same made Stacy's dash, okay,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: Damon dash? Is she related cousins? Okay? Okay, Dame Dame,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: so he won't be shocked when he pull up on me.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: I mean, we the same kind of dude, basically, you
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: know what I mean. He do his thing, I do
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: my thing. He cool with his cousin. We she a
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: little conservative, but that'll be all right. Got the same
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: birthday weekend, same birthday weekend.
- 1:26:21Speaker 4: So we're gonna have a little lockey in, drink a
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: little doctor Pepper.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: We'll be back more to the sports Duck Show. Right
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: after this, Doctor is Good and.
- 1:26:46Speaker 9: Doctor Pepple is Good and.
- 1:26:52Speaker 3: Jn't Boy Wayne Board of the Sports John Show with
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: Wayne Gamdy Yes coming up.
- 1:26:57Speaker 27: Next, hurting the game it out. Feel exhausted, we push
- 1:27:03Speaker 27: on feeling down. We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps.
- 1:27:08Speaker 27: But there are times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress
- 1:27:11Speaker 27: gets to us and we need to talk to someone
- 1:27:13Speaker 27: about what we're really going through. So we're going to
- 1:27:16Speaker 27: reach out because sometimes mental health is not a one
- 1:27:20Speaker 27: person job.
- 1:27:21Speaker 28: Is it?
- 1:27:21Speaker 27: Love your Mind Today dot org? That's love your Mind
- 1:27:24Speaker 27: Today dot org. Brought to you by the Huntsman Mental

- 1:27:32Speaker 26: when you going I need you, they say, please don't
- 1:27:37Speaker 26: always snit me. So that means that do not to stop.
- 1:27:43Speaker 26: And when you going I mean jas they say, please
- 1:27:47Speaker 26: don't always remember it.
- 1:27:49Speaker 9: Don't drive distracted.
- 1:27:50Speaker 11: A message brought to you by the National Highway Traffic
- 1:27:53Speaker 11: Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the AD Council.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: And now back to the Sports Giant, Wayne.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: Gandy Player's Lounge. I've been given full access to the
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: player's lounge on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gangy.
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: Welcome back to this one shock show. I'm this one
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: shock Wayne Gandy. This is my shout out for Big
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: Kenny right here. Uh, Cheryl Lynn, to be real, I
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: figured that was on his playlist when he was back
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: in Pemp days. Oh you know it was on the
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: sixteen seventeen I did when I when I had an
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: Afro pick in my back pocket, I used to have
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: to hit the throat and pat it down for I
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: knocked on the door Janni's home. Who it's Kenneth the
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: bad producer just read us something that is so disconcerting
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: because Big Kenny did allude to how people are talking
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: about Kevin Stefancy, the new head coach of the Atlanta Falcons,
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: about how he did your door Sanders wrong. And uh,
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: it be withers me to figure out how Kevin Stefanski
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: did anything that should do. I must have have missed it.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: I must have had missed whatever Kevin Stefanski did with
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: your doer Sanders. Did he do something and I missed it?
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: He explained to me. No, I'm not on the not
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: on the bossip. I'm saying what did he specifically due?
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: He did not start him day one. Well, first he
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: was behind the conspiracy. No, I'm saying, what did he do?
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: He didn't start him day one. He put Dylan Gabriel
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: in there first. Well, he put in Joe Flacco and
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: then had Shaduur third on the depth chart, So he
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: went into order there, so as a coach, he went
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: in the order in which things came to him. But
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: he knows Schaduor was better than all of them people
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: and should have went in the first round like number
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: pick number two or three, and then he let them
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: pick him in the fifth round. And then when he
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: got there, he didn't give him no reps with the
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: first team, and he put him third on the depth chart,
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: and then when he put him in, he didn't give
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: him the right kind of plays to make him successful
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: because he was hating on him because he's black, right,
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: And I'm just saying what everybody else thinking. O see,
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: And that's where I get lost from for words, because
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: it almost sounds like you guys are making a joke.
- 1:31:19Speaker 4: But that's that's that's a real life conversation and it's
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: a real life.
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: But coming from your mic to my ears, sounds it
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: sounds sound I made up sounds made like I'm waiting
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: on the punchline of what Kevin Stefanski did, because I
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: would say to you guys, why don't you think Kevin
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: Stefanski for seeing that your door needed some time? Hm,
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: and it would be better to just go in order.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: So when I put him in there, I can leave
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: him in there. I can say I gave Joe Flacco
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: his chance, and then we traded him, and then I
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: gave Dylan Gabriel, who got drafted in front of he
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: got hurt. Now when I put Shador in there, I
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: can stand by shr door. And I do remember, after
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: like two starts, he said that Shador was going to
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: be the starter for the rest of the season. He said,
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: even if Dylan came back. He actually said that. He
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: said that these last four or five games that should
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: do it, was going to be the starter. Now, why
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: doesn't he get any credit for that approach? Well, he
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: waited too long? Well, and I would ask why dated
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: too long?
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: I waited too long on year one to help a
- 1:32:41Speaker 4: young man thrive in his career. And and and this
- 1:32:47Speaker 4: is and and this is something that you.
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: Know how many you know how many kids wish their
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: parents had played a little longer game. M You know
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: how many guys that were one and done that would
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: like to go back and do it like an Austin
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: Rivers or a Marcus Tigue or even a Zion Williamson,
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: who would be like man, if I would have went on,
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: I would have stayed another this long year and got myself.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: You know how many guys that lost their career because
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: you just shoved them. Sam Darnold, the Jets pushed them
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: on the field so bad, so fast. They never counted
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: that he was twenty years old and hadn't really played
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: a lot. But the Bears pushed Mitch Trubisky out there
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: game one off about sixteen college football games, and he
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: didn't falter. So why is it? What is wrong with
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: what shade or did the process? Why aren't coaches because
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: they don't act? If so, basically we can move on.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: If a coach doesn't do what you think he should do,
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: he's a bad coach. Only if only if no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: no joke, I'm not serious. No, I don't do what
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: you think I should do, Big Kenny, I'm a bad coach.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: The simple answer would be yes. The average fan thinks
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: that they know enough that if you don't make the
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: decision that I would have made, your poor coaching. It
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: gets even more amplified when the player is a person
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: of color.
- 1:34:39Speaker 6: Okay, let me ask this question. Then just what you have?
- 1:34:43Speaker 6: Luke may he didn't play that many games. Excuse me
- 1:34:48Speaker 6: thinking about the brother. I'm talking about thee. Yeah, but
- 1:34:51Speaker 6: I meant Drake, but the brother anyway, he played what sorry,
- 1:34:57Speaker 6: a season two season a half of Carolina.
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:35:01Speaker 6: He's having a great career right now with New England's
- 1:35:04Speaker 6: got him in the playoffs. Then we go back, we
- 1:35:07Speaker 6: look at San Francisco, Kyle Shanahan he had.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: And he had my young man that was drafted high.
- 1:35:20Speaker 6: Trey Lance had them, but he went with the last
- 1:35:25Speaker 6: man picked in the draft because once he started looking
- 1:35:28Speaker 6: at oh man, this guy got some talent.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: He can probably do. That's what fans saying. We're hoping
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: that you get a look at not where you was drafted,
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: not where, but you look and you see you realize
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: when all three of them there together, you could clearly
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: see the difference he had not he did not go
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: with Rock Purdy over those two guys. Before he gave
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: those two guys a chance so your equation would be wrong.
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: Rock Purdy did not beat those those guys out before
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: he gave those two guys a chance. He gave those
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: two guys a chance to fail first they both got hurt.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: Get hurt. You open the door for a guy that
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: cost me a tenth, But it is about the same production.
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: I can take the other ninety percent that I I'm
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: supposed to pay you, and I can pay other people
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: and by time with someone who's just effective. Tom Brady
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: was a sixth round pick. He got on the field
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: when somebody got hurt. Does anybody know who got hurt?
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: Drew Bleedell so Drew BLEDSOE doesn't get hurt. We don't
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: know that we would even seen Tom Brady until whenever.
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: So your equation would be wrong because those two people
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: Garoppolo and Trey Lance and brought Perdy still there with
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: a big contract. So I still don't get how this
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: is what the GM the owner they sent me. You
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: said you wanted this guy to start. I started right,
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: he's not really getting the job done, so I go
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: a little. You said it's time for a little movement. Okay, Well,
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: let's it's be better if we just go with Okay,
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: we got this guy in the third, let's knock him out.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: If you don't produce, we can put the next guy in.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: Why isn't that the better way? And I get confused
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: when people take that stance with Kevin Stefanski and what
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: happened with Shador Sanders, because I'm sure, like most people
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: at this table, I remember the era when was it
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: Warren Moon was like one of the first black quarterbacks
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: to start an NFL game, and people were asking, why
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: would you put him in in front of this other
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: quarterback because he probably understands the em better and he's
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: not able to intellectually. And people were like, why don't
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: you just give him his chance? Why don't you and
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: everybody thought that he deserved a chance in that situation.
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: When the tables are reversed, it's like you can't understand
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: giving a guy a chance like Kevin Stefanski.
- 1:38:22Speaker 6: Okay, let me if Stephen Kevin Stefanski would have came
- 1:38:26Speaker 6: from Miami or or whoever else to fire the coach
- 1:38:29Speaker 6: this year, and if he wasn't in the situation, if
- 1:38:33Speaker 6: he wasn't there, maybe he wouldn't be getting the what
- 1:38:37Speaker 6: the Atlanta fans because this I mean the Atlanta fans
- 1:38:39Speaker 6: are given. I mean, I'm not proving, I'm just telling
- 1:38:43Speaker 6: you it's a possibility he wouldn't be getting this bad.
- 1:38:47Speaker 4: Was making the reference that Sefanski treated Shador bad, and
- 1:38:52Speaker 4: that's why the Falcons have had this kind of reaction. Yeah,
- 1:38:54Speaker 4: that's kind of like confirming that that's at least part
- 1:38:59Speaker 4: of this reaction.
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: You got to be real, that's twenty to five percent
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: of what the the people that love I treated him bad.
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: That's the point, were not starting him day one. I
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: mean this came out, this came out.
- 1:39:14Speaker 4: That that's considered mistreatment. Well, I mean because of however
- 1:39:18Speaker 4: people feel about Shador, they like, oh, he should come
- 1:39:22Speaker 4: in and be the starter day one.
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: And then that's when you got somebody look see you
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: got to understand this though too though, when you got to.
- 1:39:30Speaker 4: See it that way, like he needs he needs time
- 1:39:33Speaker 4: to develop and then maybe some point at during the
- 1:39:36Speaker 4: season he could be the starter. But because it wasn't
- 1:39:39Speaker 4: day one, that is that erase.
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: Race. So as we go to break, I want to
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: make sure I got this right. Bick Kenny man, you
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: think that I had been on my job that is
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: about wins and losses. I'm going to to implement this
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: self sabotage to lose my job based on a young
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: man that I don't even know, and how I use him.
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: You think I intentionally went out? You think if I
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: thought this guy was ready to win me some games,
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: I was supposed to do. What keep him back? I'm
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: still dealing with the fact that I got.
- 1:40:29Speaker 6: A forty two million on the field with this is
- 1:40:32Speaker 6: Stefanski was his sixth year in Cleveland. Maybe he knew
- 1:40:35Speaker 6: that he was on the about to be on the outs,
- 1:40:37Speaker 6: you know last year.
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: He thought he was gonna get fired after that horrible
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: season there last year. But so might as well be
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: racist before I get fired.
- 1:40:45Speaker 4: But what about all these other black quarterbacks I've been starting? Man,
- 1:40:49Speaker 4: I went and got de Shaun Watching. You had Dorian
- 1:40:54Speaker 4: Thompson Robinson, you had Brett Hunley.
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: I went and got to Shawn Watson. Why do I
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: keep Why do I keep betting my career on all
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: these black quarterbacks? And then you say I'm racist? Anybody
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: say the man was racist. I went and picked DeShawn
- 1:41:08Speaker 1: Washing and had a bail office. I got him straight
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: out the bail bondsman office, and and I'm telling you guys,
- 1:41:16Speaker 1: y'all think you know I come here seriously, right, I'm
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: so close to like I cut some friends off because
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: I can't talk to sports with ignorance, and I can't
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: talk with conspiracy theory. And I know that the area
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: of where we are with the media, that's all that
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: drives this world. Now, these what ifs and all that,
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: and everythidy gets judged on anything. Should door Sanders still
- 1:41:50Speaker 1: hasn't shown you much, Steve, of anything. It was like
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: two and four, Steve, I told you when they got him,
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: they don't even play him this year? Did I not
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: say that I think he would be better to be
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: on the Patrick Mahomes program. We just get to absorb
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: all that kind of shake off this thing that everybody
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: has about him and get to grow up as a
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: young man without his dad around. Because you know what
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: some people said to me, Oh how come they not
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: gonna start him in Cleveland? Everywhere else he went he
- 1:42:25Speaker 1: started day one.
- 1:42:26Speaker 4: But everywhere else he went, his daddy was his dad
- 1:42:29Speaker 4: took him and and they got rid of everybody else
- 1:42:32Speaker 4: and let him start day one.
- 1:42:34Speaker 1: Yes, he never even competed for a job.
- 1:42:36Speaker 4: Never, never, He never been in a quarterback battle.
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: Never this is the first year he was in a
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: quarterback battle. He never went out on the field with
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: the anxiety that I'm not the number one guy, regardless
- 1:42:49Speaker 1: of how he performed. I don't think y'all really are
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: pulling for Shader. Y'all just pulling for racist. You're just
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: pulling for whatever code of life that you want to see.
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: Because if you were trying to pull for Shador, you
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: would want him to settle down that when he does
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: take the field, he can stay on the field. We'll
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: be back going on to Sports Josh Show right after this.
- 1:43:15Speaker 4: J caird.
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: Won't you join that? Thank damp to the flow. I'm
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: hitting for one night and half fought. Will you go?

- 1:44:52Speaker 1: Now back to the Sports Job. Wayne Gandy.
- 1:45:05Speaker 25: Between log on so you can see a sports jaint,
- 1:45:19Speaker 25: I'll sing even very canny.
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: Welcome back to this Wye Shock Shaw, I'm this wor
- 1:45:25Speaker 1: Shock Wayne againde Good morning to you out there. Long
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: conversation here today about the Kevin Stefanski. I didn't mean
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: to stay on that that long. I apologize to you
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: out there about that. It's just be withering living in
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: this area that the people who swear they are for
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: you seem not to be able to implement a plan
- 1:45:48Speaker 1: so you can have and maximize your success. Uh. They
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: just completely go along with whatever their emotions are, and
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: then they don't remember the trade ling that's kind of
- 1:46:00Speaker 1: story where they pushed him out there raw in San
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: Francisco and now it's hard for anyone to even know
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: where he is. He's been on like three four teams
- 1:46:12Speaker 1: in his career and he's only been in the league
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: about five years. Uh, And it's all about confidence and
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: being able to find yourself on the field. They're enamored
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: with shouldor Sanders. They have this belief. They don't even
- 1:46:27Speaker 1: care what report you show them statistics. It seems that
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: you know, they didn't even understand why Kevin Stefanski would
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: need to have a long game because everything that should
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: do or does right, people credit should do everything should
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: do it does wrong. They criticize Stefanski. You know how
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: hard of a situation that is. So I don't get
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: any credit when the kid does something good. I only
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: get criticized when he does something bad, as though he
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: is a superhero. You watch yesterday game, when you watch
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: the Houston Texans CJ Stroud through four interceptions in that game,
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: you know Kenny bounce back from those kind of situation,
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: Kleb throwing interceptions there for the Bears late in the game.
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: And sports has just got so one sided, and it's
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: like politics. I used to like having good conversation about politics.
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: I had to stop because nobody wants to start in
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: the center. They want to already start on their side
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: of the fence. It's the same with sports. I bet
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: Kenny Kmanchi bad producer. It is hard for me to
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: even get on a thread with anybody to have because
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: they're so biased. And a new hire comes to your team,
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: you criticize it, what even shows any fruit? And then
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: you want to you can only hire somebody who first
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: of all wants to be hired. That is it. And
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: sometimes I'm gonna go ahead on and say it. Some
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: of you black folk, all you know sports from is
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: high school. That's your only reference to sports. You keep
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: acting like it's some kind of my son was next
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: in line, so he deserves to go. That's not actually
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: how it works. And I haven't met a pro coach yet.
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: And I had nine of them in my career, nine
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: head coaches. I've never met any of them. They're and
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: a lot of personality of alleys, and some of them
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: some true a I've never seen one self sabotaged. Never
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: that I will ever go on a committee and tell
- 1:48:59Speaker 1: you man, coach was trying to lose the day because
- 1:49:02Speaker 1: he wanted to be out there. He was trying to
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: He was doing everything to do lose today. And your
- 1:49:10Speaker 1: bias blinds you to the truth of any manner. So
- 1:49:16Speaker 1: find me an offensive coach, because that's where your offensive
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: talent of your team is built around. They're gonna try
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: to keep Pitts, They're gonna try to keep London. They
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: gotta running back Byjon. I gotta find someone here can
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: show Bijon why he should stay here, because why you
- 1:49:31Speaker 1: Falcon fans think that Jon is so in love with y'all,
- 1:49:35Speaker 1: y'all are delusional. That little code of blackness and little
- 1:49:43Speaker 1: entertainment y'all be putting on at the game. That ain't
- 1:49:45Speaker 1: true for them dudes on the field, we don't care
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: nothing about y'all like that, Like that, y'all wanna drunk
- 1:49:56Speaker 1: on that stuff that somebody gonna ride for what side?
- 1:50:00Speaker 1: Y'all the Falcons, y'all, y'all have drink some kool aid.
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: This is not the sixties.
- 1:50:08Speaker 4: This ain't m l K.
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: We didn't come here. I came here to bar. That's
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: why I told you, John, it's setting stone. No, it's
- 1:50:16Speaker 1: setting in stone for the Falcons. Yes, it's setting stone
- 1:50:19Speaker 1: for them, but it ain't setting stone for Bjon. No. No,
- 1:50:26Speaker 1: when a team like the Rams come along, like, hey,
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: we're gonna we're gonna make up all that. And I
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: deserve to wake up the wall. We're gonna get you
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: in part in the next Happy Gilmore, I deserve to
- 1:50:42Speaker 1: wake up on the water.
- 1:50:43Speaker 6: Sports, John, We're gonna get you on.
- 1:50:47Speaker 1: We we are we are Hollywood, Hollywood. We are Hollywood.
- 1:50:52Speaker 1: We've had people on in in movies all the way
- 1:50:55Speaker 1: back to Maryland Ocen on Little House of the Prairie.
- 1:51:00Speaker 1: All of that was Ram's Lord Rosie Grier on the
- 1:51:04Speaker 1: Brady Bunch. What was my man from the Hunter was
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: a Ram. We are Hollywood. Hollywood needs some big physical Wow.
- 1:51:18Speaker 1: We got a whole bunch of them. Let's just dry
- 1:51:20Speaker 1: down the road and get a bunch of them. We
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: don't have to We don't have to get nobody to
- 1:51:24Speaker 1: juice up. We need a thick neck bodyguard. Only thing.
- 1:51:27Speaker 1: We got the linebacker down here, name Verse too sixty
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: and cut up. They were asking for a guy like you,
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: Bee Jeine, but you don't live on the West Coast.
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: That's the only thing. So this little thing with hero
- 1:51:40Speaker 1: who wants what? Who wants the job? People that have
- 1:51:45Speaker 1: come here and coach don't be seen like they want
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: the job back. Magic City ain't that much of a
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: draw you think it is, But it ain't just kind
- 1:51:52Speaker 1: of drive you back any more of the Sports Job
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: Show after this.
- 1:51:55Speaker 22: But then I thought back to what better means before
- 1:51:58Speaker 22: I was a beatless.
- 1:51:59Speaker 4: Celebrity, before I started calling so heavily.
- 1:52:03Speaker 3: Don't go awayne board of the Sports Jock Show with
- 1:52:06Speaker 3: Wayne Dandy is comming up next.
- 1:52:12Speaker 28: When I smoke, we I get lost in the music.
- 1:52:15Speaker 28: I like to isolate each instrument, the rhythmic babe, the
- 1:52:19Speaker 28: harmonies on the piano and sticky melody.
- 1:52:27Speaker 18: Careful bit.
- 1:52:27Speaker 13: There's a crossing the streets.
- 1:52:29Speaker 1: Sorry I didn't see it. If you feel different, you
- 1:52:33Speaker 1: drive different. Don't drive high. It's dangerous and illegal everywhere
- 1:52:38Speaker 1: unless it's from NITZA and the ad Council.
- 1:52:42Speaker 5: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy, It's.
- 1:52:48Speaker 2: Time for the school board when we put a spin
- 1:52:51Speaker 2: on life and sports and how they intermingle. On the
- 1:52:55Speaker 2: Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:53:11Speaker 22: Shun you know what's down with us?
- 1:53:14Speaker 1: Where he's down with Welcome back to this one shops show.
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: I'm this one shocks Winge Candy. Remember college football playoffs
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: tonight Miami playing Indiana. Who you got Baproduca Cocaines, Big Kenny, Indiana,
- 1:53:29Speaker 1: Midwest comand you Indiana? Okay, Indiana, Indiana and one Miami
- 1:53:35Speaker 1: gonna be tight here to know who you got? Sports Jock,
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: I take Indiana?
- 1:53:39Speaker 27: Why?
- 1:53:40Speaker 23: Why?
- 1:53:40Speaker 1: What? What? You not stay in home state?
- 1:53:47Speaker 4: I said that wi he was going, I have lived
- 1:53:49Speaker 4: in Florida since eighty nine?
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: Is still you keep? I don't know what mud I mean?
- 1:53:56Speaker 1: He got to go with the home get it. I
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: won't get it. I don't get it.
- 1:54:04Speaker 4: I didn't even go to Miami, I know, but that
- 1:54:07Speaker 4: I didn't go to on a recruiting trip to Miami.
- 1:54:10Speaker 4: I wasn't even a Hurricane fan growing up, So why
- 1:54:13Speaker 4: do I owe them allegiance? Did you think Florida school? Yeah,
- 1:54:18Speaker 4: Florida State. Okay, Florida was on probation, so I didn't
- 1:54:22Speaker 4: wasn't going to a probation team at the time. I
- 1:54:25Speaker 4: wanted to go to Florida because they were closer to home,
- 1:54:27Speaker 4: but they were on probation for the next three years.
- 1:54:31Speaker 1: That EMMITTT. Smith. We all know about Emmitt Smith. I
- 1:54:33Speaker 1: wanted to go block for Emmitt, but I also wanted
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: to be on TV. I want to see what Bobby
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: Bounce had to offer. But and I pulled for the Canes.
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: I wanted to win. But you asked me who I
- 1:54:44Speaker 1: think will win?
- 1:54:45Speaker 19: Right?
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: I was betting one hundred dollars. I was bet on
- 1:54:49Speaker 1: Indiana unemotionally, unemotionally, but you you would you you would
- 1:54:54Speaker 1: like full sentence, full sentence, sir, that's and see that.
- 1:54:58Speaker 1: But he said he would like to. The case is
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: to win. Listen, this is what I'm saying. This is
- 1:55:03Speaker 1: the problem with the reality of conversation. You asked me
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: a question, I give you the answer, and because that
- 1:55:13Speaker 1: answer doesn't align with what it is you feel or
- 1:55:17Speaker 1: think you believe, you want to argue with me about
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: my decision and how if I was more informed, or
- 1:55:26Speaker 1: how if I was more connected, or if I knew
- 1:55:29Speaker 1: more than I know. Now I can give you if
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: you give me irritate me, Well, okay, I know what
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: I'm like. I bet you one hundred.
- 1:55:42Speaker 4: I'm talking to Kenny. See see so he just he
- 1:55:46Speaker 4: just he knows I don't gamble. I thought he knows.
- 1:55:49Speaker 4: I thought the Stillers would beat the Texans, Yes, you did.
- 1:55:53Speaker 4: I thought that you thought. I didn't think either one
- 1:55:55Speaker 4: of those teams would beat the Patriots. I was hoping
- 1:55:59Speaker 4: that the Stellers would beat the Texans. I thought they would.
- 1:56:05Speaker 1: They had a good enough team to do it, and
- 1:56:09Speaker 1: I thought by winning that playoff game, Mike Tomlin Mason
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: most likely would have been in the mood to stay there.
- 1:56:16Speaker 1: But I do believe, just like yesterday, that whoever went
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: to New England was gonna get that work put on them. Period.
- 1:56:26Speaker 1: I thought the Rams would beat Chicago, not because I'm
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: a Ram, but because I thought Chicago would lose the
- 1:56:36Speaker 1: way they lost, that whole comeback at the end thing.
- 1:56:40Speaker 1: At some point it catches up with you, which it
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: always does. Wait till the last two minutes to get
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: it catches up with you. You ask me next week. I
- 1:56:52Speaker 1: don't think the Rams. I want the Rams to beat
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: the Seahawks. I don't think the Rams will beat the Seahawks.
- 1:57:03Speaker 1: That that is the same thing. Just ask me. I
- 1:57:07Speaker 1: want Hurricane the state of Florida to be a great story,
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: but if I was gonna bet my hundred dollars, I
- 1:57:14Speaker 1: would take Indiana. Those are i't I thought that's how
- 1:57:18Speaker 1: we do things. No, you can still. You can still
- 1:57:21Speaker 1: want what you want. I want offering to win all
- 1:57:24Speaker 1: their games. I won't, But if they play a certain team,
- 1:57:28Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be over here. Yeah, man, bet it up, man.
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: Yeah they gonna well they got they gonna beat Ohio State,
- 1:57:34Speaker 1: not gonna beat Ohio State. I just hope they don't
- 1:57:36Speaker 1: get embarrassed. But I hope that I'm sitting here wrong tomorrow.
- 1:57:40Speaker 4: Yeah, sports Shack, I won't love to last forever, but
- 1:57:42Speaker 4: I still got a solid pre number. I'm just saying
- 1:57:47Speaker 4: I'm all with how it should be. I just live
- 1:57:51Speaker 4: with it how it is.
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: Buffalo Bills had fired Sean McDermott after nine years. You
- 1:57:56Speaker 1: kind of saw that coming. Nothing that says he's a
- 1:58:00Speaker 1: bad coach, and I was trying to get people to
- 1:58:02Speaker 1: understand that this weekend. It doesn't always mean you're a
- 1:58:05Speaker 1: bad coach. It means that the people that write the
- 1:58:09Speaker 1: checks the organization feel like the story just gonna have
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: come to an end. We'll try another path, and no,
- 1:58:18Speaker 1: Sean McDermott, Josh Allen path seems like it just has
- 1:58:22Speaker 1: not bad enough fruit. We gave you nine years, gave
- 1:58:26Speaker 1: you all the things you said you needed, COMANCHI you
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: asked for those things, gave it as much as we could.
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: We gave it all to you. Still ain't work out.
- 1:58:35Speaker 1: So now I'll do what they do in corporate America.
- 1:58:38Speaker 1: What do you think we ought to do about this shot?
- 1:58:40Speaker 1: You got your hand up, go ahead.
- 1:58:41Speaker 6: I haven't heard that energy that when Lamar leaves it's
- 1:58:48Speaker 6: a problem. Josh Allen is the coach's problem. I don't
- 1:58:52Speaker 6: understand why when Lamar doesn't get his team to the
- 1:58:56Speaker 6: playoffs until the finals.
- 1:58:58Speaker 1: It's a problem. This man been. He's been.
- 1:59:02Speaker 6: Got his team to the finals a couple of years.
- 1:59:04Speaker 6: The fired Lamar Jackson's coach. But I'm just in general,
- 1:59:09Speaker 6: I want that same energy, no what energy.
- 1:59:11Speaker 4: They fired both coaches, but after decades with the team,
- 1:59:16Speaker 4: Josh Allen hasn't gotten it.
- 1:59:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean he's always getting I mean at the
- 1:59:21Speaker 6: season he's he's this, this, this, this, but when he loses,
- 1:59:24Speaker 6: it's like wait, wait, wait. So you're saying, but Lamar,
- 1:59:28Speaker 6: but we constantly own Lamar that he played this, Can
- 1:59:31Speaker 6: he do this?
- 1:59:32Speaker 1: Can he be?
- 1:59:33Speaker 6: But both of them are the same same level as
- 1:59:35Speaker 6: far as like they had, they didn't lead their team
- 1:59:38Speaker 6: all the way. So all I'm saying is can we
- 1:59:40Speaker 6: get that same energy. I'm not talking about us. I'm
- 1:59:42Speaker 6: just saying your media.
- 1:59:45Speaker 1: You're saying, can the media criticize the white quarterback as
- 1:59:49Speaker 1: much as they do the black quarterback?
- 1:59:50Speaker 6: I said, Josh. I didn't say a name. I said, Josh,
- 1:59:53Speaker 6: asking question answer.
- 1:59:55Speaker 1: So what you're saying is you want the white.
- 1:59:58Speaker 4: Boy criticized as much as Because both.
- 2:00:00Speaker 1: Coaches got fired, I understand that, But I'm talking about
- 2:00:03Speaker 1: the where I'm hearing and seeing being watching sports and
- 2:00:08Speaker 1: watching and listening and constantly on this thing. But you
- 2:00:11Speaker 1: don't hear. That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying to
- 2:00:13Speaker 1: us because you we everybody gets. Everybody gets. And I'll
- 2:00:18Speaker 1: say this, I'll say this, bad producer, and that this
- 2:00:21Speaker 1: might not be a popular opinion, But I miss segregation
- 2:00:27Speaker 1: because I knew at least who my enemies were. I
- 2:00:31Speaker 1: could look at you, and your sign that said no
- 2:00:33Speaker 1: colors allowed made me safe knowing what side of the
- 2:00:37Speaker 1: fence you was on. Now you can actually sit next
- 2:00:41Speaker 1: to me and play nice with me until you have
- 2:00:43Speaker 1: a chance to undo me. And I don't like that.
- 2:00:47Speaker 4: You are one of those people that won't just flat
- 2:00:50Speaker 4: out say how you feel and why you feel that way.
- 2:00:53Speaker 1: You're a subversive, You like a mole, you a rat. Well,
- 2:00:59Speaker 1: he doesn't want the work ladies to know to be
- 2:01:01Speaker 1: racist about it because you keep this cover. He has
- 2:01:06Speaker 1: to keep his cover, because yeah, he has to keep
- 2:01:10Speaker 1: his cover. Black clansman, right soever. And we are in
- 2:01:19Speaker 1: the ocean. The truth is he will throw your in
- 2:01:25Speaker 1: the ocean. It's time to wrap things up.
- 2:01:28Speaker 2: On The Sports Judge Show with Wayne Candy.
- 2:01:58Speaker 1: When you're here the Times in Ocean against the smut shots.
- 2:02:00Speaker 1: Just a minute to Ben would like to thank you
- 2:02:02Speaker 1: for tuning in to today's show. On this MLOK day,
- 2:02:05Speaker 1: Remember Miami the Hurricanes taking on the Hughs the night
- 2:02:09Speaker 1: of Indiana seven point thirty. Did Josh Alla win the
- 2:02:13Speaker 1: MVP once right last year?
- 2:02:16Speaker 3: Right?
- 2:02:17Speaker 1: Yeah? Okay. I was wondering when he brought up Lamar Jackson.
- 2:02:19Speaker 1: I don't know how Lamar Jackson, like, how I get
- 2:02:21Speaker 1: in that conversation I played in two weeks. I'm sitting
- 2:02:25Speaker 1: it down. Yeah yeah. And for you out there to
- 2:02:28Speaker 1: hear things like the bad producer have to say stop that,
- 2:02:31Speaker 1: it's almost like vengeful. You keep these little things in
- 2:02:35Speaker 1: your pocket so you can bring them up. And the
- 2:02:38Speaker 1: comparison thing with the black community has been so rampant.
- 2:02:44Speaker 1: They're always looking for one some other story to balance
- 2:02:48Speaker 1: out there inadequacies, almost like crabs. Yeah, I said it,
- 2:02:58Speaker 1: the crabs and Nern. I want you to get out
- 2:03:03Speaker 1: if they can't learn that. But on this MLK Day,
- 2:03:09Speaker 1: we wish you peace and positivity. Man, these Falcon fans,
- 2:03:16Speaker 1: peace and positivity in your date. Take a moment, try
- 2:03:20Speaker 1: to do something nice as always said, say something nice,
- 2:03:24Speaker 1: hold a door for the elderly, wave at a kid,
- 2:03:29Speaker 1: or you know, find something today on a social level
- 2:03:34Speaker 1: to try to enhance the world. Big Kenny command you
- 2:03:39Speaker 1: Greg the bad producer and from the sports shop. We
- 2:03:42Speaker 1: hope you have a good afternoon and we'll leave you
- 2:03:46Speaker 1: with peace.
