And the work they're doing, it shapes all our lives. I'm meteorologist Emily Gracie, and this is Atmosphere. Every week I sit down with the scientists asking the biggest questions about our world. From hurricane experts at the National Hurricane Center to severe weather researchers in Oklahoma, geologists decoding Earth's history, and science communicators helping us make sense of it all. We'll talk about the science, of course, but we'll also talk about the people behind it. What drives them? What fascinates them? What scares them? what keeps them searching for answers.
