- 0:09Speaker 1: what are people saying? What's reaction like on the ground there?
- 0:12Speaker 2: Yeah, good morning, Ryan. Well. I spent last night, in
- 0:14Speaker 2: the last couple of hours at the Democratic watch party
- 0:17Speaker 2: here in Detroit, and I can tell you he wasn't
- 0:19Speaker 2: much of a party. The music might have been playing,
- 0:21Speaker 2: but there was no one on the dance floor and
- 0:24Speaker 2: people were leaving early. We actually had to go outside
- 0:26Speaker 2: to do some work because they shut the event down
- 0:29Speaker 2: and turned off the lights because everyone was going home. Now.
- 0:32Speaker 2: As I've just come on here with you, I text
- 0:34Speaker 2: this morning a Republican contact, a man named Brian Panabecker.
- 0:37Speaker 2: He started a group called Auto Workers for Trump twenty
- 0:40Speaker 2: twenty four, a big Republican supporter. He told me for
- 0:44Speaker 2: a long now, in the last couple of months that
- 0:45Speaker 2: Donald Trump was going to win easily in the state.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I text him, how are you feeling, Brian, and he
- 0:50Speaker 2: just replied, as you came on the air and said
- 0:52Speaker 2: like a million bucks with five exclamation points. So there's
- 0:55Speaker 2: a lot of happy Republicans.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Here. Are we going to hear from Krmala Harris?
- 1:00Speaker 2: We are, we're going to hear from her. It's reported
- 1:02Speaker 2: around four pm Eastern time, which bind my estimations is
- 1:05Speaker 2: around midday in New Zealand. She's going to address a crowd,
- 1:08Speaker 2: I believe at Howard University where she had hoped to
- 1:11Speaker 2: give a victory speech last night. So we're going to
- 1:13Speaker 2: hear from her at midday. We haven't heard from Joe
- 1:16Speaker 2: Biden yet. He's yet to put out an official statement.
- 1:19Speaker 2: We have heard from George W. Bush, the forty third president,
- 1:22Speaker 2: this morning, who congratulated Donald Trump, but nothing from Harris
- 1:26Speaker 2: and Biden just yet.
- 1:27Speaker 1: All right, we'll stand by midday, we're expecting Kamala Harris
