- 1:13That means tomorrow we're gonna start a brand
- 1:14new master topic.
- 1:17But this week we have a great one
- 1:19and we're ending it today.
- 1:20This is our day seven.
- 1:22And so if you're thirsty or hungry, feel
- 1:24free to go grab something and come on

- 1:27to be thirsty.
- 1:28So feel free to do that.
- 1:29Without any further ado guys, let's go ahead
- 1:31and kick this show off, all right?
- 1:33So letting yourself believe good things are still
- 1:39possible.
- 1:41I think that's an important thing.
- 1:42By the way, this is series four.
- 1:44In case you're wondering, this is show number
- 1:4752.
- 1:48And ladies and gentlemen, we are on episode
- 1:50number seven.
- 1:52Yes, we're on episode number seven.
- 1:54Letting yourself believe good things are still possible.
- 1:58That's really important to understand.
- 2:01And I think sometimes we get a little
- 2:05bit lost in our way.
- 2:08And why do we get lost?
- 2:09I think the reason we get lost is
- 2:12because sometimes we don't really understand what's out
- 2:16there or what our life is doing, right?
- 2:18I think that sometimes happens to everybody.
- 2:20And when that happens to everybody, it's like,
- 2:22oh my gosh, what do I do?
- 2:23What am I supposed to do?
- 2:25And I think what you're supposed to do
- 2:27is recognize where you are right now in
- 2:30life.
- 2:30Like right now, where are you right this
- 2:32very, very moment?
- 2:37And I know that's hard for a lot
- 2:39of people to, let's say realize, to fathomize,
- 2:43to kind of make that part of their
- 2:45life.
- 2:45I know it is.
- 2:47But when you make this a process, okay,
- 2:50every single day, it's important, okay?
- 2:59By the way, ladies and gentlemen, I'm John
- 3:01Seymour, a serial entrepreneur.
- 3:04Yes, a video producer, marketing specialist, graduate student,
- 3:07and of course, a passionate lifelong learner.
- 3:10And you know, ladies and gentlemen, it is
- 3:11my privilege and my pleasure to be with
- 3:13you here on the Inspirations for Your Life
- 3:14show.
- 3:16You're not late.
- 3:17You're loaded with experience.
- 3:18In this episode of Inspirations for Your Life,
- 3:20as I said, I'm John Seymour Early, and
- 3:22I dive into what it really means to
- 3:24let yourself believe what good things are like
- 3:28in your life and why it is still
- 3:30possible.
- 3:31I think that's a very important thing for
- 3:34a lot of people.
- 3:35Some people just don't understand like what that
- 3:37means or why that even is a certain
- 3:39way, but it is the truth of life,
- 3:41guys.
- 3:42It absolutely is the truth of life.
- 3:43And so this whole week is about, you
- 3:46know, hope for future.
- 3:48And so we've been talking a lot about
- 3:50this week, right?
- 3:52And so with deeply important granular things, we're
- 3:55talking about the dailies and imagining the future
- 3:58that you can actually look forward to again
- 4:00and again.
- 4:01So let's kick it off, guys, with point
- 4:03number one.
- 4:04Yes, point number one is you're allowed to
- 4:07look, how can I say, you're allowed to
- 4:10look forward to something again and again?
- 4:14I'm not saying you should basically stop what
- 4:18you're doing.
- 4:19That's important.
- 4:20There may have been seasons where, I don't
- 4:24know, let's say looking ahead only hurts.
- 4:28So your brain decided that expecting nothing was
- 4:30safer than being disappointed again.
- 4:33But hope is not betrayal of your past.
- 4:35It's a gift of your future.
- 4:36Start small, look forward to a conversation, a
- 4:39walk, a project, a moment of joy this
- 4:42week or next week, and giving yourself permission
- 4:44to anticipate something good is the first quiet
- 4:47act of rebuilding your future.
- 4:49I think sometimes we get lost in that
- 4:51whole predicament.
- 4:54And I know you're seeing me, John, like
- 4:56I don't know what to do, but it's
- 4:59important to understand what we're doing.
- 5:05And maybe you're seeing me, John, like I'm
- 5:08lost.
- 5:08And I get that you're lost because everybody
- 5:11gets sometimes, right?
- 5:12So we have compasses, that's why we have
- 5:14GPS systems, that's why we have maps.
- 5:16And I think that's important to definitely understand
- 5:20what that really means.
- 5:23And I think what it means to a
- 5:25lot of people in our world is that
- 5:27we have to make the choices, the choices
- 5:31sometimes that we don't wanna make, but the
- 5:33choices that we need to make for the
- 5:36greater good of our growth.
- 5:37I think that's a very, very important thing.
- 5:41And a lot of times people just don't,
- 5:43they just don't, they don't get it.
- 5:45I don't know why, but they just don't
- 5:47seem to get that point.
- 5:50And so when we think about life for
- 5:52a moment, and we think about how things
- 5:53are going a certain way, and we think
- 5:55about why they're going a certain way or
- 5:57why they're not, that can cause us sometimes
- 5:59pain, it can cause us some grief, it
- 6:01causes some challenges.
- 6:04So what I wanna say to all of
- 6:05you is that feeling discomfort in this is
- 6:08completely, completely normal.
- 6:10It's not something that you should just try
- 6:14to pack into a small bag and then
- 6:18not open it again.
- 6:20So thinking about this, your story doesn't end
- 6:23with your worst chapter, all right?
- 6:26Every life has chapters that feel like rock
- 6:29bottom.
- 6:30Losses, breakups, failures, diagnoses, betrayals, and these things
- 6:37that you have, the pages from these are
- 6:39real, but they're not the whole book.
- 6:41Your worst chapter may explain where you are
- 6:43in life, but it does not decide where
- 6:46you're allowed to go next.
- 6:48That's right, I said, where are you gonna
- 6:49go next?
- 6:49That's just where you were in the past.
- 6:51So when you believe you're stuck in the
- 6:53chapter forever, you stop trying to turn the
- 6:56page.
- 6:57You stop trying to go anywhere, change.
- 7:00Today is about recognizing the pen is still
- 7:04in your hand.
- 7:05And I think that's something a lot of
- 7:06people miss is that the pen is still
- 7:07in your hand.
- 7:08And by having that pen in your hand,
- 7:09it makes a huge, huge difference, all right?
- 7:13Because you have the pen, because you can
- 7:15keep doing things, you can make those changes
- 7:17in your life.
- 7:17Number three, stop asking, is this too late?
- 7:20Start asking this question.
- 7:22What would be fun to try now?
- 7:24Is it too late?
- 7:26Is a fear question.
- 7:27It already assumes the answer might be yes.
- 7:31What would be fun to try now is
- 7:33a curiosity question.
- 7:35It opens doors instead of slamming them.
- 7:37You shift from defending your age, your timing
- 7:39or your past to exploring possibilities that actually
- 7:43energize you from the fun that you supposedly
- 7:46are gonna have, supposedly, right?
- 7:48But for whatever reason, you're not having it
- 7:50because you're saying fun is childish, but it's
- 7:52not.
- 7:52It is the fuel that will push you
- 7:54forward.
- 7:54Let curiosity, not fear, guide the next steps
- 7:58of your life regardless of what people around
- 8:00you say.
- 8:02Number four, future is key, guys.
- 8:05Yes, future, the future of your life.
- 8:08Future you is real.
- 8:10What tiny favor can you do for them
- 8:12today?
- 8:13Think of your future self as an actual
- 8:15person you care about.
- 8:16Not an abstract idea, excuse me.
- 8:19That person will wake up in your body
- 8:21in the circumstances shaped by today's circumstance.
- 8:25I think that's an important one to realize.
- 8:28And the choices that you've made for today.
- 8:30A tiny favor could be sending one email,
- 8:32drinking water instead of scrolling, cleaning up.
- 8:36I think that's a real important one is
- 8:39making the choice to clean up one corner
- 8:43of your space, setting one boundary.
- 8:45You don't have to fix the entire life
- 8:48today.
- 8:48Just leave them one small gift so you
- 8:50can help others in that way.
- 8:52And I think that's a really important thing
- 8:54that a lot of people, they oftentimes, they
- 8:56miss that whole concept.
- 8:58Your dreams can be smaller and kinder and
- 9:00still valid.
- 9:01Maybe you once carried giant dramatic dreams that
- 9:03no longer fit the person you are now.
- 9:06That doesn't mean you failed.
- 9:07It means you evolved.
- 9:08The dream can be gentle, a stable home,
- 9:11a meaningful work, a calm nervous system, a
- 9:14small but loyal circle of friends.
- 9:16You do not owe anyone a spectacular life
- 9:18for your life to be worthwhile.
- 9:22Kind dreams count too.
- 9:24And I think that's something a lot of
- 9:25people miss.
- 9:26Number six, guys.
- 9:27Number six is an important one I think
- 9:29a lot of people miss.
- 9:31That's what I wanna talk about.
- 9:32You don't have to chase a massive vision
- 9:34in your life.
- 9:35You don't have to do that, okay?
- 9:36Just a meaningful one.
- 9:38Social media often glorifies huge visions, empires, millions,
- 9:42global dominations.
- 9:43That might be right for some people, but
- 9:44it might not be right for you.
- 9:46So the question is, what do you do?
- 9:49A meaningful vision could be serving your local
- 9:51community, raising kind kids, building a respectable team,
- 9:55or creating art that touches a few people
- 9:58deeply on an inner level.
- 10:00One thing you thought you'd never survive, and
- 10:02yet here you are, number seven.
- 10:04Pause, remember a moment you were sure would
- 10:08break you.
- 10:09And the thing you said, if this ever
- 10:11happens, I'll never recover.
- 10:13Then notice the truth, guys.
- 10:14You did not disappear from the earth.
- 10:16You adjusted, you healed, you adapted, maybe slowly.
- 10:19And somehow you kept going.
- 10:21You kept persisting.
- 10:23You became resilient.
- 10:25You let that proof fuel your belief that
- 10:27you can handle future challenges too.
- 10:30Number eight, guys, maybe the goal now is
- 10:32softer life, not a louder one.
- 10:34You might have spent years chasing noise, bigger
- 10:37jobs, louder achievements, constant busyness.
- 10:40Sometimes the next chapter of hope is not
- 10:41volume, it's about softness, more rest, more peace,
- 10:45more boundaries, less chaos.
- 10:47A softer life doesn't mean a smaller life.
- 10:49It means a life that doesn't constantly scrape
- 10:51your nervous system raw.
- 10:53And that's important because some people do do
- 10:54that.
- 10:55Number nine, you're allowed to pivot your dreams
- 10:57without apologizing.
- 10:59Changing direction doesn't mean you were wrong before.
- 11:02It means you're honest now.
- 11:04Maybe a dream that you had and were
- 11:06once excited over, you no longer are in
- 11:09alignment with because it doesn't fit your values
- 11:11anymore.
- 11:12You're allowed to say that was right for
- 11:14me then and this is right for me
- 11:16now without apologizing to why you're doing it.
- 11:18I think that's important.
- 11:19Number 10, imagine a life that fits you
- 11:22better than the one you're performing in.
- 11:24I think that's an important one.
- 11:26A lot of exhaustion comes from performing a
- 11:28life for others, family, colleagues, followers that doesn't
- 11:31actually fit who you are.
- 11:34Hope grows when you picture a life that
- 11:36feels aligned on the inside, not just impressive
- 11:40on the outside.
- 11:41Ask yourself this question.
- 11:42If I stopped performing, what would I change?
- 11:46Where would I live?
- 11:48How would I spend my time?
- 11:49Who would be my circle?
- 11:51Even imagining that life is the first step
- 11:53toward it.
- 11:54And I think that's a, I think a
- 11:55lot of people just, you know, they get
- 11:57lost on that.
- 11:58Number 11, write a list of the called
- 11:59stuff.
- 12:00I still want experience.
- 12:02Start small, grab a piece of paper, your
- 12:04notes, your app, and literally title it stuff
- 12:07I still want experience.
- 12:09Do not censor yourself, okay?
- 12:12Add tiny things, try a new cafe, attend
- 12:15one of John's live talks, visit a local
- 12:18park, go to a concert, join a new
- 12:21community, sign up for a class.
- 12:23This is not a pressure list, it's a
- 12:24possibility list.
- 12:26And when you see possibilities on paper, your
- 12:28brain remembers that the future isn't empty.
- 12:30And I think it wants to strive for
- 12:32that.
- 12:32Number 12, hope is a muscle.
- 12:34You strengthen it with tiny experiments.
- 12:36Hope doesn't instantly appear just because you decide
- 12:39to be hopeful.
- 12:41Like a muscle, it grows when you gently
- 12:43work it.
- 12:44A tiny experiment could be applying for something
- 12:46you're not sure you'll get.
- 12:48Reaching out to someone new, trying a new
- 12:50habit, or taking a small step toward a
- 12:53long dormant dream.
- 12:54Each experiment whispers to your brain, see, not
- 12:57everything ends badly.
- 12:58Number 13, if your future looks like your
- 13:01past, something needs to change.
- 13:02If when you mentally fast forward one year,
- 13:06your life looks exactly the same, and that
- 13:09thought drains you, that's important data.
- 13:11It doesn't mean you're doomed, it means something
- 13:14needs to shift.
- 13:15Maybe it's your schedule, it's your boundaries, your
- 13:16environment, or your expectations of yourself.
- 13:19You don't have to change everything overnight, but
- 13:21you do need to change something, a little
- 13:23bit at a time, consistently.
- 13:25Number 14, you're not starting from zero, you're
- 13:27starting from experience.
- 13:28And that's something a lot of people miss.
- 13:30Experience is very valuable.
- 13:31Starting again at 30, 40, 50, 60 can
- 13:34feel humiliating if you believe you're behind.
- 13:37But notice, you're not the same person you
- 13:39were at 18.
- 13:40You have skills now, lessons you've learned, emotional
- 13:42intelligence, and scars that now function as wisdom,
- 13:45hopefully.
- 13:46Every attempt you've made so far has given
- 13:48you data.
- 13:49You're not a beginner at life.
- 13:50You're an experienced builder starting a new project.
- 13:53Number 15, guys, comparison steals.
- 13:56Yes, it does.
- 13:58Comparison steals your hope.
- 13:59Curiosity restores it.
- 14:00Don't do that.
- 14:01Comparison asks, why am I not where they
- 14:05are?
- 14:06And immediately drains your energy.
- 14:08Curiosity asks, where could I go from here?
- 14:10And gives it back to you.
- 14:12When you feel comparison rising, scrolling, watching others
- 14:17highlight reels, practice flipping it.
- 14:19Interesting, what does seeing this make me curious
- 14:24to try in my own life?
- 14:25Curiosity turns envy into information.
- 14:28As I said, data.
- 14:30And I think that's something a lot of
- 14:31people, they don't answer that question.
- 14:34Number 16, it's okay if your dreams now
- 14:37is just peace and stability.
- 14:39That's completely okay, guys.
- 14:40There's no rule that says your dream must
- 14:43be flashy.
- 14:43Want a calm, steady life, bills paid, body
- 14:46cared for, relationship respectful.
- 14:49It's not unsettling to do that.
- 14:51For many people who have lived in chaos,
- 14:53peace and stability are radical upgrades.
- 14:55Number 17, the future is built in boring
- 14:59Tuesdays, not just big moments, right?
- 15:02We often imagine future changing in cinematic scenes.
- 15:06The big promotion, the viral moment, the dramatic
- 15:09move.
- 15:10But more of your future is being shaped
- 15:12on ordinary Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
- 15:14What you eat, how you speak to yourself,
- 15:17whether you move your body, what you learn,
- 15:19who you spend time with.
- 15:21When you respect the power of boring days,
- 15:23you regain power over your life.
- 15:26Number 18, guys, you don't need a 10
- 15:28-year plan, just a three-month project.
- 15:31Planning 10 years ahead can feel paralyzing, especially
- 15:34after disappointments.
- 15:36Shrink the timeframe, what is one meaningful project
- 15:39you can commit to for the next three
- 15:41months?
- 15:41It could be improving your health markers, saving
- 15:44a small emergency fund, building a new skill,
- 15:46or creating something.
- 15:48Shorter horizons make actions more attainable and doable.
- 15:51If nothing changes, where will you be in
- 15:55a year?
- 15:55Do you like that answer?
- 15:57Ask this honestly, not to shame yourself.
- 16:00Think about the movie with Morley and Christmas
- 16:03Carol, right?
- 16:04But to wake yourself up with Ebenezer Scrooge.
- 16:07If the honest answer is no, I wouldn't
- 16:09like that, let the discomfort be the fuel,
- 16:11not a self-attack on you.
- 16:13The point of the question is not to
- 16:14scare you, it's to motivate you to adjust
- 16:17your trajectory now while you still can, very
- 16:19similar to the Ebenezer Christmas Carol movie.
- 16:22So that's very important to understand.
- 16:25Number 20, your future self will thank you
- 16:28for the boundaries you set now.
- 16:30A lot of burnout comes from trying to
- 16:33be everything to everyone.
- 16:35Boundaries around time, energy, money, relationships, they're not
- 16:40selfish.
- 16:41They are a love letter to your future
- 16:43self saying, no today might give the future
- 16:47you back their health.
- 16:49Their peace, their creativity.
- 16:50Think of boundaries as future protection, not present
- 16:53rejections.
- 16:55Number 21, hope doesn't mean denial.
- 16:57It means there's more possible than what I'm
- 17:00currently working on.
- 17:01Hope is not pretending everything is fine when
- 17:04it isn't.
- 17:05It's acknowledging reality and still believing that reality
- 17:07is not the final word.
- 17:10You can hold grief and hope in the
- 17:12same heart.
- 17:13You can tell the truth about what hurts
- 17:14while also leaving room for what might attempt
- 17:17to heal.
- 17:18And I think that's a really important thing,
- 17:21guys.
- 17:22A very, very important thing that a lot
- 17:23of people, they kind of miss that point.
- 17:26They miss the point of what could be
- 17:28going on.
- 17:29And so we have to think about those
- 17:31things, right?
- 17:33Very, very important things.
- 17:35Number 22, you can upgrade your life without
- 17:39burning it all down.
- 17:40You don't necessarily need to quit everything.
- 17:43You don't need to do that.
- 17:45Trust me, you don't need to do that.
- 17:46No, some people say you have to do
- 17:46it.
- 17:47You don't have to do that.
- 17:49Or move across the world or start from
- 17:52absolute scratch, bottom.
- 17:54Sometimes the next chapter is a series of
- 17:56upgrades, better habits, better boundaries, better conversations, better
- 18:00use of strengths.
- 18:01Evolution doesn't always require explosion.
- 18:05Number 23, the dream isn't to escape your
- 18:08life.
- 18:09It's to build one you want to escape.
- 18:12Endless fantasizing about escape, vacations, weekends, retirements can
- 18:16be a sign that your current life isn't
- 18:18aligned.
- 18:19The deeper invitation is not to build more
- 18:21escape routes, but to gradually design a life
- 18:24where your daily reality is less painful, more
- 18:26aligned, and more honest.
- 18:28That doesn't happen overnight, but it does happen
- 18:31on purpose.
- 18:32So I think what that means is that
- 18:33we have to live in the luxury all
- 18:36the time.
- 18:36Not just when we go on vacation.
- 18:38We have to be good to ourselves all
- 18:39the time.
- 18:40Number 24, maybe success for you is different
- 18:43than the picture than what was online.
- 18:45The internet often sells one version of success,
- 18:47constant hustle, constant visibility, constant growth.
- 18:50What are you really getting?
- 18:52You're allowed to define success in a way
- 18:54that actually fits your nervous system and values.
- 18:57You don't have to follow somebody else's.
- 18:59Number 25, try a tiny version of your
- 19:01big idea this weekend.
- 19:02Just go ahead and try that out.
- 19:03Whatever that big idea is, podcast, business, a
- 19:06book, a move, a project, don't wait for
- 19:09perfect conditions.
- 19:10Do a tiny version, record a five minute
- 19:12test episode.
- 19:13Sketch the outline, sketch the book, build a
- 19:15simple landing page, host your friends for a
- 19:18mini event.
- 19:19Tiny versions make the idea real without overwhelming
- 19:22you.
- 19:23Number 26, so one of the things I'm
- 19:25gonna be doing next year is I'm writing
- 19:26a book.
- 19:27So every day starting January 1 is I'm
- 19:29writing a new page every day.
- 19:31You are not too late, too old, or
- 19:34too broken, or plot twists.
- 19:37Every great story has a moment where things,
- 19:41well, they look over and sometimes things shift.
- 19:45Hope lives in that shift.
- 19:47You might have labels in your head, too
- 19:49old, too behind, too damaged.
- 19:51Those are stories, they're not facts.
- 19:53As long as you are breathing, a plot
- 19:55twist is very, very doable and possible.
- 19:58Number 27, guys, think of one thing that
- 20:01would make next year feel a little lighter
- 20:04for you.
- 20:05Not perfect, just lighter.
- 20:07Maybe it's reducing one debt.
- 20:09It's resolving one conflict.
- 20:10It's organizing one room.
- 20:11Leaving one draining commitment.
- 20:13Maybe it's ending a relationship.
- 20:15Or saying yes to one nourishing habit.
- 20:17Defining that lighter action, write it down, and
- 20:20begin designing your next year around that.
- 20:23I think that's an important thing that people
- 20:25don't realize we have power to do.
- 20:27Number 28, guys, number 28 is hope feels
- 20:30risky when you've been disappointed.
- 20:33We've all been disappointed.
- 20:34Start small.
- 20:36If you had hopes crushed, your brain has
- 20:39learned that hoping is dangerous.
- 20:41Don't start with giant hopes.
- 20:43Start with small ones.
- 20:45Hope that you can create one better morning,
- 20:48one better conversation, one better week.
- 20:50As those hopes are met, your nervous system
- 20:52slowly recalibrates.
- 20:54Maybe it's okay to hope just a little
- 20:56bit bigger.
- 20:57Number 29, your next chapter doesn't need everyone's
- 21:01approval.
- 21:01It really doesn't.
- 21:02Just your participation.
- 21:04If you wait for universal approval, you'll need,
- 21:07well, a lot more patience.
- 21:10You'll never move ahead.
- 21:13Some people won't understand your changes because they
- 21:17benefit from the version of you that stays
- 21:19the same.
- 21:20Even though that's not good for you, the
- 21:21only essential person in your next chapter is
- 21:24you.
- 21:24You're the one who has to live it,
- 21:26not them.
- 21:27And I think sometimes people don't want you
- 21:28to change because they're afraid that they may
- 21:30not get enough of you, and that's being
- 21:32selfish.
- 21:33Number 30, guys, imagine waking up excited for
- 21:37something again.
- 21:38What would have to change in your life
- 21:40for that to be a reality?
- 21:42Picture that morning.
- 21:44You open your eyes, and there is at
- 21:45least one thing you're genuinely excited about that
- 21:48morning.
- 21:49What would need to shift in your life
- 21:51for that to be true?
- 21:52Your work, your schedule, your health, your routines,
- 21:55your environment, your relationships.
- 21:57Let questions guide your next few choices.
- 22:00Don't let them drain you or drown you.
- 22:05You've just spent this time strengthening your hope
- 22:08muscle, not with fantasy, but with honest doable
- 22:11shifts that I provided here in the Inspirations
- 22:13for Your Life show on how you can
- 22:15see your future become a reality.
- 22:18This is the Inspirations for Your Life show.
- 22:20This is the daily motivational show.
- 22:23And I'm here to help you grow and
- 22:27become a better version of your life.
- 22:28You've been listening to myself, John C.
- 22:30Morley, serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing specialist, video producer,
- 22:34podcast host, graduate student, a passionate life well
- 22:36learner, and someone committed to helping you design,
- 22:41yes, the future that you believe in.
- 22:44If this episode spoke to you, even a
- 22:47tiny bit, I encourage you to please visit
- 22:50BelieveMeAchieved.com from one of my amazing aspiring
- 22:55creations.
- 22:56Because what I wanna do, ladies and gentlemen,
- 22:57is I wanna elevate your life.
- 22:59I want you to gain daily podcast wisdom
- 23:01from me every day.
- 23:02I want you to learn from my inspirational
- 23:05stories.
- 23:05I want you to create your own inspirational
- 23:07stories.
- 23:07I want you to learn from those.
- 23:09I want you to learn how to become
- 23:11a leader.
- 23:11I want you to not be imprisoned by
- 23:13what you see outside you.
- 23:15I don't want you to become scared.
- 23:17I want you to be excited, but I
- 23:21don't want you to become overwhelmed.
- 23:23I want you to ask questions, and I
- 23:27want you to be able to take those
- 23:28answers, and I want you to be able
- 23:30to apply them to your life.
- 23:33To be like, okay, I'm here now today.
- 23:35Five years ago, I was at the same
- 23:37spot, but now I know this, this, this,
- 23:39this, and this.
- 23:41And because of those extra things I know,
- 23:44the choices I make are going to be
- 23:46different.
- 23:47Now, people in your world, they're gonna tell
- 23:49you that you should do what you did
- 23:50before, because that's what worked.
- 23:52It worked for them, but guess what, guys?
- 23:55It didn't work for you.
- 23:56And you're at the same spot again.
- 23:58And those people are knocking on your door,
- 24:01asking for help.
- 24:02Not that you shouldn't give them help, but
- 24:03I think there's a point when you give
- 24:05help to people, and you spill out your
- 24:08own cup, and you don't even have enough
- 24:10for a tiny sip.
- 24:11You become dehydrated.
- 24:13Well, proverbially speaking, if we do that in
- 24:15our life, in the actions of things we
- 24:18do, we have no energy for ourselves.
- 24:21We have no desire to do anything, because
- 24:23we're so busy helping everybody else.
- 24:25I'm not saying not to help everybody else.
- 24:26I'm saying make sure you help yourself first.
- 24:29That's really important, because you're gonna just wonder,
- 24:34like, how do I get to this point?
- 24:37And you can get there, guys, okay?
- 24:39You have to let yourself believe.
- 24:41My motto is believemeachieve.com, which you can
- 24:44see on all my branding, on my shirts,
- 24:46on my hat.
- 24:47When we start to believe, it becomes this
- 24:51chain reaction that allows us to move forward.
- 24:54Now, belief doesn't happen, and the miracle may
- 25:01not result in five minutes, but if you
- 25:04keep thinking that way, you cause a chemical
- 25:07reaction change in your brain and body, and
- 25:11it also starts to send out messages to
- 25:13the universe.
- 25:14People start to see them that are within
- 25:16a few feet of you.
- 25:17They can recognize it from your aura.
- 25:19See, when you are living the life that
- 25:23you want inside your body, even if it's
- 25:26not outside your body, the outside of your
- 25:28body's world and circumstances will change to morph
- 25:32the inside life inside your body.
- 25:35See, most people try to take the outside
- 25:37life, get what they want, and then change
- 25:39the inside.
- 25:39That's all wrong.
- 25:41We have to change the inside of ourselves
- 25:43first, and then, only then, can we have
- 25:46it push to the outsides of our body.
- 25:48I think that's something that a lot of
- 25:49people miss, and I think it's something that
- 25:51most people will definitely want to be doing,
- 25:57and I say this to you because some
- 25:59people get stuck on, well, they get stuck
- 26:01on this ladder, right, and they have no
- 26:04way to come down, and instead of trying
- 26:08to look for help or to gain the
- 26:11insights to safely get down, they keep waiting,
- 26:14but there's no way to get through because
- 26:16it's like people are always trying to go
- 26:18up, so what do you do in those
- 26:21situations?
- 26:22You don't panic.
- 26:24You try to be resourceful and figure, well,
- 26:26if I wanted to get down, what's the
- 26:28best way to get down?
- 26:29You know, what are some other options I
- 26:31have to get down, or what are there
- 26:32ways that I could get attention, have somebody
- 26:34help, or get someone to stop the people
- 26:36coming up?
- 26:37Maybe I could yell and say, hey, guys,
- 26:39can you stop coming up for like two
- 26:41minutes?
- 26:42I need to get down, right?
- 26:43That's one thing you could do, and then,
- 26:46oh yeah, sure, sure, no problem.
- 26:48And then they'd let you walk down.
- 26:51Maybe the ladder goes up and the ladder
- 26:52goes down.
- 26:53Maybe you're in a tour group and you
- 26:54stayed up too long and there's no way
- 26:56for you to get down.
- 26:57I'm just giving you some ideas.
- 27:00So ladies and gentlemen, I hope you had
- 27:01a very, very Merry Christmas.
- 27:03Happy, healthy holidays if you didn't celebrate Christmas.
- 27:05I hope you're getting ready for your New
- 27:06Year's.
- 27:07We are too here, and it's gonna be
- 27:09a great New Year's.
- 27:10It's coming up basically next Wednesday, 31st.
- 27:14I can't believe it.
- 27:15And then we'll officially on January 1st be
- 27:16on the air.
- 27:17Five years in a row.
- 27:19Wow, that's incredible.
- 27:20Guys, I hope you have an amazing evening.
- 27:23I hope that you realize that you have
- 27:25to allow yourself to believe.
- 27:28Once you allow yourself to believe, only then
- 27:31can you achieve.
- 27:33Somebody can't make you believe.
- 27:35You can't believe for a day and then
- 27:38stop because it didn't work tomorrow.
- 27:39It's not gonna work like that.
- 27:41You have to believe in this every single
- 27:43day.
- 27:44Again, I'm John C.
- 27:45Morley, serial entrepreneur.
- 27:46Please do check out Believe Me Achieve for
- 27:49more of my amazing, inspiring creations.
- 27:51You know, guys, I'm gonna catch you on
- 27:52another one of my shows or content reels
- 27:55or something else real soon.
- 27:57But take this advice seriously because you have
- 27:59the power to do more than you actually
- 28:00think you can.
