- 0:47Speaker 1: just email us. We read emails too, Megan and Wendy
- 0:50Speaker 1: at gmail dot com. Yes, ma'am, let's jump right into
- 0:54Speaker 1: Autumn and the Vineyard with a synopsis. All right, while
- 0:57Speaker 1: I'm really hoping that this movie better than our first
- 1:01Speaker 1: Fall fan favorite, Autumn and the Vineyard. When Frankie and
- 1:08Speaker 1: Nate both have a claim to ownership of Sorrento Farm,
- 1:11Speaker 1: they are forced to divide the farm right down the
- 1:14Speaker 1: middle and work the fields along with each other to
- 1:17Speaker 1: bring the harvest, leading up to the best Wine competition
- 1:20Speaker 1: at the annual Autumn Harvest Festival. Holy Cow did an
- 1:24Speaker 1: Ai write this? This is so long, too much? Only
- 1:29Speaker 1: this rivalry won't be settled in the fields stars Rachel
- 1:33Speaker 1: Lee Cooking, Oh, Brenda Penny so suggestive? I know, really,
- 1:38Speaker 1: Deos and Nose Oh okay. Automan Vineyard first premiered on
- 1:43Speaker 1: the Homewark Channel on October eighth, twenty sixteen, and is
- 1:48Speaker 1: the first in a series of three movies. The following
- 1:51Speaker 1: movies were called Summer in the Vineyard, which premiered in
- 1:54Speaker 1: twenty seventeen, and Valentine in the Vineyard from twenty nineteen.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Shout out Julie Sherman Woolf. She wrote the second one.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I don't think she's the writer for the third one.
- 2:04Speaker 1: But what's that guy's name? What's that director? Ingram? Peter? No,
- 2:10Speaker 1: it's not Peter Ingram. What is it? He did all
- 2:13Speaker 1: the wedding Veil movies except for one. It's not Peter Ingram.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You want to bet Terry Ingram? Ry Ingram, that's it,
- 2:23Speaker 1: Terry Ingram. He did Valentine in the Vineyard. So I'm
- 2:26Speaker 1: like a good director for like a third movie, don't
- 2:31Speaker 1: you think so? Are you suggesting a third movie is
- 2:34Speaker 1: like a throwaway? Yeah? I am Okay, alright, and listen.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I'm I was watching this movie and I didn't know
- 2:44Speaker 1: it was part of a series. Had no idea either
- 2:47Speaker 1: until Hallmark Movie Network like served up the next one
- 2:52Speaker 1: and I was like, oh good, there's a sequel here.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Oh good. I was to disappointed if you did not
- 3:00Speaker 1: like this movie. Okay, Moving on Marina Adair. She's a
- 3:05Speaker 1: number one national best selling author. She wrote the twenty
- 3:09Speaker 1: thirteen romantic novel on Um in the Vineyard that this
- 3:13Speaker 1: movie is based off of. The script was written by
- 3:16Speaker 1: Susette Couture, who has thirty six writing credits, including a
- 3:20Speaker 1: movie I've seen from two thousand and three called Martha, inc.
- 3:23Speaker 1: The story of Martha Stewart starring Sybil Shepherd. I was
- 3:26Speaker 1: looking at these notes, thinking, I'd like to watch that movie.
- 3:28Speaker 1: By the way, do you think we're picking up the gardener?
- 3:31Speaker 2: You know?
- 3:32Speaker 1: My house, your house, They're everywhere, don't even mine. This
- 3:36Speaker 1: movie was directed by Scott Smith, who has thirty six
- 3:39Speaker 1: directing credits, including Frozen in Love, a movie we reviewed
- 3:42Speaker 1: during our summer series, also starring one Rachel Lee Cook.
- 3:45Speaker 1: She wrote that movie too.
- 3:47Speaker 3: I remember that. I remember not liking that movie.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Okay, I'm not a Rachel Lee Cook hater by any means. Yeah, okay,
- 3:56Speaker 1: Rachel Lee Cook speaking of stars as Frankie Baldwin. She
- 4:00Speaker 1: currently has one hundred and two acting credits, fourteen producing credits,
- 4:04Speaker 1: and two upcoming projects in the work, including a holiday
- 4:07Speaker 1: movie called Rescuing Christmas, but it is unconfirmed if this
- 4:12Speaker 1: is for homework. I have no idea it could go
- 4:14Speaker 1: any It could just be one of those production movies
- 4:16Speaker 1: and just be sold anywhere, you know, Yeah, I don't know.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Brendan Penny plays Nate to Luca. He was last seen
- 4:23Speaker 1: in The Wedding Cottage, Such a charming, damn movie, and
- 4:26Speaker 1: last year's in Mary Measure Penny and Glasses dam You
- 4:30Speaker 1: never watched that movie, did you? In Mary Measure? It
- 4:33Speaker 1: was so good.
- 4:34Speaker 3: I watched that movie, Oh you did.
- 4:36Speaker 1: We didn't review it on the podcast. You watched that movie?
- 4:39Speaker 1: I went back because that movie did so well in ours.
- 4:43Speaker 1: It had like a fan surge. Yeah, in our Countdown
- 4:46Speaker 1: to Christmas bracket, like best movie. It was like a
- 4:49Speaker 1: contender real up there, like final four maybe, and so
- 4:53Speaker 1: I was like, I need to watch this movie, and
- 4:55Speaker 1: I really enjoyed it. Yeah, okay, familiar. Laura Soltis plays
- 5:01Speaker 1: Nate's mom, Carla de Luca. We recently saw her in
- 5:05Speaker 1: The Wedding Contract from the Summer and last year's Favorite
- 5:08Speaker 1: Lights Camera Christmas. I adore this actor. She has these
- 5:15Speaker 1: dimples that I just wish I had right here, kind
- 5:18Speaker 1: of like lower corner of the mouse chin. She's so
- 5:22Speaker 1: pretty and I curly enjoy her. Ali Liebert plays best
- 5:26Speaker 1: friend Hannah. Ali has ninety seven acting credits, but was
- 5:29Speaker 1: last seen in Three Wise Men and a Baby from
- 5:32Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. She's also directed Hallmarks, The Holiday Sitter,
- 5:35Speaker 1: and North to Home. You know, I couldn't remember who
- 5:39Speaker 1: she was and Three Wise Men and a Baby.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Do you maybe she plays a friend? I don't think
- 5:45Speaker 3: she's a love interest.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I'm like searching through my brain, like where were you?
- 5:48Speaker 1: Were you a sister? Were you somebody I don't remember?
- 5:53Speaker 3: Email as Megan the Window.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Tail, Yeah somebody knows rides. Marcus Rossner plays Nate's brother
- 5:58Speaker 1: Marco and I gotta tell you this movie he brings
- 6:00Speaker 1: that BD two. He has four movies in post production
- 6:05Speaker 1: right now, according to IMDb, one falseemed movie and three
- 6:08Speaker 1: holiday movies. Gonna be interesting worth these end up. Yeah,
- 6:13Speaker 1: isn't he and Luke McFarlane's movie, Yes he is, ma'am.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Were you surprised when Marcus Rossner came on screen? No? Oh,
- 6:22Speaker 1: you knew. I knew he was in it. I mean
- 6:24Speaker 1: I saw like the names as I was watching it.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I was like, Oh, that's a pleasant surprise.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It's like a bonus star m The shooting location for
- 6:36Speaker 1: this film was the Riverstone Winery near Oliver and Ostoyos
- 6:40Speaker 1: in the South Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. I gotta
- 6:44Speaker 1: tell you, I looked at how to say those words,
- 6:47Speaker 1: and you said them correctly. Thank you. You want to
- 6:50Speaker 1: talk first impressions. I'm just so tired of the arguing
- 6:58Speaker 1: what between who? Oh my god, she was a raging bitch.
- 7:04Speaker 2: This is the you know row where we get characters
- 7:09Speaker 2: who hate each other and unfortunately we get the woman
- 7:13Speaker 2: who's the meaner half of the pairing.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I'm tired of it. It's too much back to back.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So do you think it's because it's the older movies?
- 7:24Speaker 1: Well because not. But ever After, which is a current movie,
- 7:28Speaker 1: had a bickering couple turned romantic couple. This movie the
- 7:33Speaker 1: same last week's falling for you the same. So you
- 7:39Speaker 1: just hate this trope. It's too much of it. I
- 7:42Speaker 1: never am a big fan of this trope. We talked
- 7:44Speaker 1: about it, and ever after I think it's hard to
- 7:47Speaker 1: do it well where I can believe when they start
- 7:52Speaker 1: to bring the heat. Mm hmm. I find it sometimes
- 7:56Speaker 1: mean spirited and it's hard for me to get on board.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I always like, think of my own life in here,
- 8:02Speaker 1: and I'm like, how many friends or romantic interests have
- 8:05Speaker 1: I ever had in my life where we started out
- 8:08Speaker 1: as enemies and the number zero? So yes, I understand.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I hate it too. I hate that they lean heavily
- 8:16Speaker 1: into it. But I didn't think she was a raging
- 8:19Speaker 1: pit oh I did. I thought she was an absolute
- 8:22Speaker 1: oh my god, we're gonna she's so bisticuffs in this. Okay,
- 8:27Speaker 1: tell me your first impression. Super disappointed that Brendan Penny
- 8:30Speaker 1: wasn't wearing glasses. I mean, maybe I just like a
- 8:34Speaker 1: dude of a certain age now like he's got some
- 8:36Speaker 1: readers on. I don't know. I just think Brendan Penny
- 8:39Speaker 1: happens to look fantastic andnglasses, but looks pretty good about
- 8:41Speaker 1: him too. Okay, let's talk about what you liked. I
- 8:46Speaker 1: can't have a feeline. It's not much. I couldn't.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Okay, what did I like about this movie?
- 8:54Speaker 1: If the answer is zero? But Tony uh kind of
- 8:58Speaker 1: impressed with the smoky vineyard shot during the fire. Oh,
- 9:01Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about that. I got lots to say
- 9:03Speaker 1: about that, I thought. I mean, the fact that the
- 9:07Speaker 1: smoke cleared real quick was almost like they had it
- 9:10Speaker 1: on rewind m h. But in the moment of the fire,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I was impressed. Okay, let's talk about this because I
- 9:18Speaker 1: have this in my like section as well. And of course,
- 9:22Speaker 1: you know, we live here in southern California. We have
- 9:25Speaker 1: a fire season. Basically we are in it. We are. Yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 1: I was like, we're coming up on it. I believe
- 9:34Speaker 1: this story was to take place in California as well.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I remember the mom saying Norman, California at one point.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I don't know if I'm just as soup and they
- 9:45Speaker 1: were in like the Napa Valley region. Yeah, well, a
- 9:49Speaker 1: lot of those areas get hit hard by fire. And
- 9:54Speaker 1: of course, like I just feel like fires like on
- 9:56Speaker 1: the forefront of my mind because like MAUI just had
- 9:59Speaker 1: those terrible fires and it's very scary for us this
- 10:03Speaker 1: time of year with fire comes out of nowhere, it's
- 10:06Speaker 1: very dangerous. Anyway, I thought that the storyline felt very
- 10:13Speaker 1: real and realistic, like, yes, of course their vineyards are
- 10:16Speaker 1: going to be like under threat of fire. However, I
- 10:20Speaker 1: found an article Don't Ask Me Why, published by UC Davis,
- 10:24Speaker 1: and it mentions, and I'm quoting, grapevines are very resilient
- 10:29Speaker 1: and do not burn easily. In many cases, the vineyards
- 10:33Speaker 1: act like a fire break and are likely playing a
- 10:36Speaker 1: beneficial role due to the fact that only a limited
- 10:40Speaker 1: number of wineries have been destroyed are significantly damaged by
- 10:43Speaker 1: pass fires that have surrounded them. Counter to that, I
- 10:47Speaker 1: go on to the instagram for Riverstone Winery, where this
- 10:51Speaker 1: movie was filmed, and the third picture in their grid
- 10:55Speaker 1: is fire looming in the back, and it was basically like,
- 11:00Speaker 1: I know the fires are challenging in our neck of
- 11:02Speaker 1: the woods. We're still open. I was like, so, I
- 11:07Speaker 1: don't know, Like, how often is fire a threat to vineyards? Well,
- 11:13Speaker 1: I think there's two things going on, right, because if
- 11:17Speaker 1: there's fire burning in the region, nobody really wants to
- 11:19Speaker 1: be standing in a vineyard that's smoky. And perhaps if
- 11:23Speaker 1: there's fire burning in the region, it's going to cause
- 11:25Speaker 1: the road closures. Even if the vineyard might not necessarily
- 11:28Speaker 1: be super threatened.
- 11:31Speaker 3: There's still fires.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I mean, we know that fires happen there, yes, so
- 11:39Speaker 1: it's interesting to know that maybe the vineyards themselves aren't
- 11:43Speaker 1: under as directive of an attack as this scene would
- 11:46Speaker 1: have led us to the right. And I got to
- 11:48Speaker 1: tell you, I was not expecting fire in this movie,
- 11:51Speaker 1: and I was like, wow, like I was very worried.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I I really enjoyed this part of the movie. I
- 11:57Speaker 1: thought it was a really nice plot.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Boy.
- 11:59Speaker 1: And I also when she picked up the phone and
- 12:01Speaker 1: she's like, no, we're okay, and then it's her brother
- 12:03Speaker 1: because her dad's vineyard has been damaged. That was a
- 12:06Speaker 1: nice twist that I didn't see coming. Yeah, I agree,
- 12:10Speaker 1: So I enjoyed that part. I really enjoyed so many
- 12:16Speaker 1: things about this movie. The scenery one gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous,
- 12:21Speaker 1: so pretty. I thought the acting was spot on. Can
- 12:26Speaker 1: I let me just say something. I didn't like that
- 12:28Speaker 1: she was I thought she was mean spirited. But I
- 12:31Speaker 1: thought the dialogue was quippy and bantery and quick and entertaining.
- 12:37Speaker 1: And kept things moving well. You know. Usually I don't
- 12:41Speaker 1: know if the listeners know this, but I know you
- 12:43Speaker 1: know this. I always fall asleep watching Home did I
- 12:46Speaker 1: stayed a week the entire time I watched this. I
- 12:47Speaker 1: couldn't believe it, so it kept me interested. And I
- 12:50Speaker 1: really enjoyed the family drama in this movie too, like
- 12:53Speaker 1: a capulet in Montague Romeo and Juliet situation. That it
- 12:58Speaker 1: was like the whole father daughter oh storyline that I
- 13:02Speaker 1: was invested in. Yeah, yeah, okay, did you like anything
- 13:06Speaker 1: else about this? I liked Ali Liebert as best friend Hannah.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I thought she was a nice comic relief in this movie.
- 13:13Speaker 1: I just I enjoyed her as a counterpart to Frankie,
- 13:21Speaker 1: a sounding board, you know. I thought in some cases
- 13:24Speaker 1: she was like the more rational one, and in other
- 13:26Speaker 1: cases she was like, why don't you get up on that?
- 13:30Speaker 3: I enjoyed her.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Speaking of co stars, I enjoyed I really enjoyed the
- 13:35Speaker 1: relationship between Frankie and her policeman brother. Yeah. I thought
- 13:39Speaker 1: their banter was cleverly written and they were very comfortable
- 13:43Speaker 1: with each other. And I might throw a deep, a
- 13:47Speaker 1: deep cut in here. He reminded me of Deputy Dewey.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Do you know who I'm talking about?
- 13:54Speaker 3: Maybe no.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Fans of the Scream movie would know him as the
- 13:58Speaker 1: arquette David r Kat David Arkette character. Yeah, not as
- 14:03Speaker 1: goofy but like you know, small town, small town cop
- 14:07Speaker 1: on the scene. Yeah, like pulling over his sister. Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah?
- 14:12Speaker 3: What else did you like?
- 14:14Speaker 1: That's it? Okay, my wish is obvious. I thought there
- 14:18Speaker 1: was too much conflict. I thought it took her too
- 14:21Speaker 1: long to come around to Nate, particularly because Nate wasn't
- 14:27Speaker 1: behaving badly. I mean there were moments where he was like,
- 14:30Speaker 1: this is nice. Do you want to use the kitchen
- 14:32Speaker 1: use I hated all that. Yeah, but he was like,
- 14:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna make you a smoothie. Let me help you out.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Do you want me to check your sap? Like, yes,
- 14:40Speaker 1: they were competing, but she was so defensive, and I
- 14:45Speaker 1: get it because she was coming from a place of
- 14:48Speaker 1: not feeling like her dad.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Believed in her.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Yes, but she took that defensiveness out on Nate. It
- 14:57Speaker 1: went too far from me, so I don't I didn't
- 15:00Speaker 1: pick up any of that. I even my husband was like,
- 15:03Speaker 1: she's a real bitch. I thought that like they had
- 15:06Speaker 1: this existing relationship as like high school sweethearts or whatever.
- 15:10Speaker 1: They were right, but I didn't think it was like
- 15:14Speaker 1: contentious between the two of them to where it bugged me. Well,
- 15:20Speaker 1: I would like every listener to hop into our Facebook
- 15:22Speaker 1: group and let us know. Did you find their relationship
- 15:25Speaker 1: contentious or lighthearted?
- 15:28Speaker 3: Old sweetheart bantery?
- 15:30Speaker 1: Yeah? I mean maybe I'm wrong here. I don't think
- 15:33Speaker 1: there's a right raw, that's just the vibe. Git now,
- 15:37Speaker 1: I will say like I didn't like when they were
- 15:40Speaker 1: like found out, how does this even work that they
- 15:43Speaker 1: both have claimed the to the winery? I don't someone
- 15:46Speaker 1: has the deed. They didn't really understand. I just was like,
- 15:49Speaker 1: I'm just gonna lot this all this slide here, Like, yeah,
- 15:52Speaker 1: both parts of divorced couple thought they owned a winery
- 15:54Speaker 1: and therefore were able to sell it.
- 15:56Speaker 3: How do you not know if you own something?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know how that all worked. But but
- 16:03Speaker 1: when he was like insistent that it was his, I
- 16:07Speaker 1: was like, stand down, dude, Like I don't. I don't
- 16:10Speaker 1: like that. I not that he should roll over to her,
- 16:15Speaker 1: but like, stop assuming that you're entitled to or used
- 16:20Speaker 1: to having things getting your way yeah, exactly.
- 16:23Speaker 3: I knew.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Look, I didn't like any of that, but I was
- 16:30Speaker 1: so disappointed in Frankie's dad's reaction when he learns she
- 16:35Speaker 1: purchased Sorrento when she was like comes to him and
- 16:39Speaker 1: was like remember how you always say you got like
- 16:41Speaker 1: selling for the fences or whatever. The line is there,
- 16:44Speaker 1: and he's mad at her after not hiring her to
- 16:49Speaker 1: run the vineyard exactly. But then I thought like, maybe
- 16:54Speaker 1: maybe it's more maybe it's more deep than that, Like
- 16:58Speaker 1: he's mad at himself that he's losing a very important
- 17:01Speaker 1: component to his business because he really messed some things
- 17:07Speaker 1: up on the financial side of things, and I was
- 17:11Speaker 1: forced to hire like somebody else to kind of like
- 17:13Speaker 1: get him out of the weeds or whatever. And he's
- 17:17Speaker 1: more mad at himself than he's mad at her. Yeah,
- 17:20Speaker 1: and maybe scared that she'll end up in the same
- 17:23Speaker 1: position and takes that out and makes it look like anger. Yeah.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I was just so disappointed. I was like, can can
- 17:32Speaker 1: a dad just be like that's my girl, like, you know.
- 17:36Speaker 3: How can I help you?
- 17:36Speaker 1: Let me support you?
- 17:38Speaker 3: Yes, that I didn't love that.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I was just at the end when they after they
- 17:45Speaker 1: have their little grape cutting competition, not the one where
- 17:49Speaker 1: they had like it was the one where it was
- 17:53Speaker 1: happening at Sorrento. You know, they had that one earlier
- 17:56Speaker 1: where they were like racing to like cut first of all,
- 17:59Speaker 1: do you cut grape off at the bottom. I don't
- 18:01Speaker 1: know how like wineries work, no idea, but I'm talking
- 18:06Speaker 1: about the Sorrento competition that they had of like whose
- 18:10Speaker 1: grapes were gonna weigh the most basically, And he says,
- 18:14Speaker 1: I know the results of the competition, and she goes,
- 18:16Speaker 1: I already know the winner and that's the end. And
- 18:19Speaker 1: I was like, I want to know the winner.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I think she means like we won because we have
- 18:24Speaker 3: each other.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I know, I want to know who actually won too,
- 18:28Speaker 1: whose grapes were better?
- 18:30Speaker 3: Me too.
- 18:31Speaker 1: That's that's what I wish for. Do you have any
- 18:35Speaker 1: we already?
- 18:35Speaker 3: Did mine?
- 18:36Speaker 1: Oh? Just one?
- 18:37Speaker 3: Huh?
- 18:38Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, let's talk about did you see that? So
- 18:43Speaker 1: when mom and dad, Carla and Charles.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Are at a diner at one point, I'm.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Pretty sure it's the mom and dad at the diner.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Someone's at a diner. There is a waitress name Elise
- 18:56Speaker 1: or like hey, Lese. She comes over they order like,
- 19:00Speaker 1: they greet her by name. She doesn't speak, they place
- 19:03Speaker 1: their orders, she like nods and walks away. It's glaring
- 19:06Speaker 1: that she doesn't speak, and I'm like, I wonder if
- 19:08Speaker 1: they would have had to pay her more.
- 19:09Speaker 3: If she had like a line, I'll be right back.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Oh, interesting speaking, And they even address her by name. Huh.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Nate's always dressed like he's getting ready to teach school. Yes,
- 19:21Speaker 1: a button down shirt tucked in like always. I was like,
- 19:25Speaker 1: all you're missing is a tie, dude, and you're working
- 19:26Speaker 1: in the vineyard. I mean, I thought it led nicely
- 19:29Speaker 1: to the jabs that she was giving him about like
- 19:31Speaker 1: not getting his hands dirty. But yeah, always was like
- 19:36Speaker 1: I'm ready to go into the office. Yes, I felt
- 19:39Speaker 1: like that about Cassie and Napa ever after. She was
- 19:43Speaker 1: always dressed a little bit more nicely than she should
- 19:46Speaker 1: have been for cruising through the vineyard. I got to
- 19:48Speaker 1: tell you, these vineyard movies, We've watched two of them
- 19:50Speaker 1: now in the span of two weeks. Gives me a
- 19:53Speaker 1: little bit of anxiety because I can't even care for
- 19:55Speaker 1: my backyard, let alone acres of grapes. Right. I wouldn't
- 20:02Speaker 1: even know where to start.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Well, apparently they don't actually need that much water. They're
- 20:06Speaker 3: very hardy. They'd have to be to thrive in California.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Yeah I did. I don't it stresses me out, to
- 20:12Speaker 1: be honest. Agree. Why was Hannah Ali Lieber always dressed
- 20:17Speaker 1: like a fifties housewife at the beginning of this movie,
- 20:20Speaker 1: Like she transitioned into like some like regular clothes, but
- 20:23Speaker 1: like she was a hairdresser.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Is this right? But she was always in like.
- 20:27Speaker 1: A fifties style dress.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just her style. I was just that's how
- 20:32Speaker 3: we make her look quirky.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Yeah, probably right, Yeah, probably. And my note here the
- 20:39Speaker 1: smoke from the fire disappears in front of her eyes
- 20:41Speaker 1: on the witch, never mind that it would stick around
- 20:45Speaker 1: for days. No, and Megan lives in an area that
- 20:49Speaker 1: burned pretty bad several years ago. Remember you had to
- 20:53Speaker 1: leave your home October twenty twenty. I remember October, but shit,
- 20:57Speaker 1: yere Yeah, well I remember it was October because I
- 21:01Speaker 1: remember it was the week of Halloween and we took
- 21:04Speaker 1: when we evacuated, we took our Halloween costume. Oh my
- 21:06Speaker 1: husband called, He's like, can you make sure to grow
- 21:08Speaker 1: my Halloween costume in case we couldn't give it. No,
- 21:11Speaker 1: oh no, I'm sorry. And my mom had COVID that
- 21:15Speaker 1: week such a bad year. I remember I was surviving
- 21:19Speaker 1: purely on adrenaline that week, just scrolling, scrolling, scrolling for
- 21:23Speaker 1: news of is our house still there? Yeah? It wasn't
- 21:26Speaker 1: like I was like I could be like, come to
- 21:27Speaker 1: our house because maybe you have COVID, you know what
- 21:29Speaker 1: I mean? You know, it was like crazy, But that
- 21:31Speaker 1: smoke hung around a long time, right, that was bad. Yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 1: And I remember going to home depot afterwards to replace
- 21:37Speaker 1: all our air filters, and everybody else was there with
- 21:39Speaker 1: carts full of air.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Filters because we had to clean on our houses. Yeah.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Anyway, when'd you read this movie three point five stars?
- 21:48Speaker 3: What'd you give it?
- 21:49Speaker 1: Four point seventy five?
- 21:51Speaker 3: Stop?
- 21:52Speaker 1: I really enjoyed it, blown away. I liked their relationship
- 21:59Speaker 1: so much so that I want to watch the second
- 22:02Speaker 1: and third movie. Well, maybe we'll just have to, But
- 22:06Speaker 1: I'm sorry. It's a fan favorite for a reason. I agree.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I mean, guys, please, I give Tyler Hines movie two
- 22:15Speaker 1: point five. Three point seveny five is a huge step up.
- 22:18Speaker 1: It is, but four point seven five Winny never gives
- 22:20Speaker 1: those scores oh, well, that's like a three wise man
- 22:23Speaker 1: and a baby ring. I know. I'm sorry. I liked it.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I'll be sorry. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Okay, thank
- 22:29Speaker 1: you for listening to this episode of Girls Gone Hallmark.
