  [SPEAKER_00]: Now last year, Mark Andrews had a career low of 6.0 yards per target, but for most of his career, he's been in that 8 to 11 range that we've come to expect about.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I had something similar at 7.2 for one of my potential bets.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to lean slightly over on 7.5.

  [SPEAKER_01]: a couple of reasons, obviously last year was his worst year.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I think the Mar Jackson being injured and not being able to move around and create those secondary plays and Andrews really being his one of the prime secondary targets really hurt him and his yards per target.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to lean slightly over, I think he's going to go over on that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now I'll just answer yours then and advance that the Mark Andrews question you had and say I'm slightly over also on 7.2 so it looks like we're both hoping for more than a dead cat bounce from Mark Andrews from what is really a pretty bad year in 2025 and I agree a lot of it was based on Lamar's injury I think that also Andrews is probably slowing down some and I have a little fear that it's going to be it's going to be difficult at his age to come back

  [SPEAKER_01]: All right, I guess you've had, you want to, you want me to alternate and take one?

  [SPEAKER_01]: It has been fluctuating between 11 and a half and 10 and a half for pretty much the entire all season.

  [SPEAKER_01]: My over under is Ravens over under 11 wins for the season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so that's a tough over to win because they've got to win at least 12 to get there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I probably want to get some juice on that number if I'm taking 12 plus wins, but a lot of that is because there's a high probability of exactly 11 wins.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So let me put it down as I would lean slightly to the 12 or more as opposed to the 10 or less side of that.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, all right.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and how do you feel about it?

  [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I think that's a really hard bet because I think it's

  [SPEAKER_01]: 50, 50, kind of either way with that.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's a really hard number.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I, what I say is if you think, if you're confident that they're gonna win 12 or more games, there's actually another bet that I saw that you could bet on them at being the number one seed at plus 500, the number two seed at plus 600 or the number three seed at plus 750.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So I love those things way more to take fire up a spread on all three of those you're saying right?

  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, exactly, you know, but because if they win 12 games, they're almost assuredly going to win the division.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And they're almost assuredly not going to be the four seed winning 12 games.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's some, that is some great gambling insight there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Fantastic stuff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate that, but I love that spread a lot better.

  [SPEAKER_00]: All right, I'll go with Rashad Bateman next and give you an over under on 65 targets for the season.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, 65 targets that is, what is that about, little letter 4 per game 60 little right about 4 yeah okay, so I will go.

  [SPEAKER_01]: slightly over just because I think.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's a really good number, but I think between Zay and all of the other weapons, I think that is, that his targets will be right around there.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think that's a good number, but I'll go slightly over.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think we've got some concerns with Bateman if the legal troubles were to come up this season that obviously would be an issue.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If the NFL were to somehow come out with punishment, which I don't think they're going to do until this is resolved.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Set might mean it goes into next year anyway.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The neck could be a possibility.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It could be the ravens themselves decide, hey, we're sitting them out.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And there's something about this that when players have a little bit of off-field trouble,

  [SPEAKER_00]: with them getting upset, getting a chip on the shoulder that makes them not play well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That said, statements look good in the last couple of the joy practices and the last couple of practices at the end of the season that mattered in pads.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I do think, you know, he's back as a receiver.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's one of the players, I think, can way out perform expectations if things really go right this year for him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, I would probably

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would probably take the under right now, though, on Rashad Bateman.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm hoping for an 80th percentile result, but I would probably have to take the under on 65.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So my next one, another team bet.

  [SPEAKER_01]: The Ravens offense averaging over under 27.9 points per game.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So last year, they were at 24.9 and 24, they were at 30.5 and 23, they were at 28.4.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, that's a great number.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think put me down on the under on that on 27.9.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think in kind of an ideal circumstance, they're going to be controlling game script and I probably would see them coming in a little bit lower, maybe 27.5, 27.0 kind of thing.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm much more interested in their points per drive number.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'd like them to get that up to about 2.6 this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If they could do that, and they'd been 3.08 in 2019, for example, and they've had some good years in there, but I think if they get the back to about 2.6 this next season, it would be a function of really grinding out a lot of drives, and it wouldn't necessarily mean they'd be over 27 for a game either, but that's right, how about you?

  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I have this at also slightly under.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I think I have worries about the offensive line and how effective they're going to be, especially kind of the interior with so many with literally three new interior offensive linemen, so I I'm taking the slide under as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, all right, so if we have good over under numbers, it should be a tough call.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's what we each think we've created with these, but I think so far, each of these has been a bit of tough call.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I've got an over under on a Teddy Buchan and 250 defensive snaps.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, okay, so I'm going to take the under on that.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Simpson has looked very good these,

  [SPEAKER_01]: this whole this whole preseason in an training camp and plus you can and he's going to be he's probably it seems like he might be inactive this game coming up and possibly for you know the first maybe two games or so anyway so that really gives some sudden a chance to really

  [SPEAKER_01]: Get a firm grip on the starting job and hold on to it and keep you can in kind of in a substitute role for the entire season.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to I'm going to go under on that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm with you exactly and for basically the exact same reasons.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he could be Wally piped out of the job.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And obviously, if you can and he had a pretty good rookie year, it was a little bit overhyped, I think, among Ravens fans, particularly because he won that rookie at a month award, which was, you know, they're obviously, this scrambling to find a rookie who was any good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: In that month, and they came up with Buchanan about a pretty good tackle total, I'm under 250 snaps as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that it's, if Simpson plays well, if some of the processing things come together as I think they might this year, then the Ravens are also incentive to leave him as the start of the entire year and have him go out and potentially earn a very big contract somewhere else.

  [SPEAKER_00]: for a higher cop pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Then this shouldn't drive their entire thing, because in 2027, they need to figure out their line back in a situation, it both broke on and Trent and Simpson are gone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It gets very scary that there was sudden it's Buchanan and Higgins somehow and a draft pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And somebody else made the veteran maybe they signed.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It gets very difficult for them to put that group together.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And what's even more scary is they may have multiple positions to do it with.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm sick of it with the under on 250 for Buchanan.

  [SPEAKER_01]: OK. All right.

  [SPEAKER_01]: My third, again, this is a team, a Raven's team over under here.

  [SPEAKER_01]: For the Raven's defense, I have the over under at 19.9 points per game allowed.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So, give you some context.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Last year, they were at 23.4.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And 21, they were 21.2 and in 16 when they, I mean, in 23 when they won the triple crown for defense, they were at 16.5.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm trying to find a 90 point nine points per game is essentially 340 for a year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We would that play some that would have put them between New England and Buffalo last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: better than the Cleveland Browns, worse than the Jacksonville Jaguars, worse than the Texans, bowed on par with the Chargers, got another great number there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to go slightly under on 19.9.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think they could get to.

  [SPEAKER_00]: you know, 19.5 or 19.3.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And if they have a, there's actually a fairly broad range of outcomes, I think, on that this particular category, they got a very old defense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If the injury starts to pile up early, they could, they could really implode defensively in some ways.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think that midter scheme is going to make them better than the sum of their parts.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I have them all under 19.9 as well.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I've packed it in, I think Mentor is really going to help improve this defense a lot, plus

  [SPEAKER_01]: the fact that they're going to be able to I still think they're going to be able to run the ball with Henry and Lamar.

  [SPEAKER_01]: That's going to eat a lot of clock and keep the defense off the field for a good amount of the time.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And as they see Z1 coming up, Colleus Campbell over under four and a half sacks.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So he's, yeah, he's averaged six sex for the last four years.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I think with the Ravens having Jones and Mattabike coming back and you know, having you know, Coleus can really only having, you know, one year and these guys being signed for multiple years, they really want to

  [SPEAKER_01]: see where Mattabike is and where he can be for the future because they have a very big decision at this offseason.

  [SPEAKER_01]: So I think they are going to get as many opportunities to be on the field as possible, especially in passing downs.

  [SPEAKER_01]: it hurts my heart because he's really one of my favorite players.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I could still have a great year with under five and a half sex and I'm under on five and a half also.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I am I threatened the needle and saying I'm over at four and a half probably.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think maybe five sex is a good bit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I just think, you know, it always happens with these older players and particularly older players who have unknown durability, but pronounce like fees, second tour with the Ravens,

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they were hoping they'd probably get 15, 20 snaps a game out of 15 or 18 snaps and all of a sudden he's their best past Russia and he's their best run defender and they have been playing a huge number of snaps and of course he got hurt, but it, you know, they, they, they.

  [SPEAKER_00]: wanted him to play a lot more than what was probably reasonable.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to do the same thing to Campbell.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think they could end up playing him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then if it's particularly if it's situational, I think he picks up some sex.

  [SPEAKER_01]: On the on the depth chart, he's going to be he's going to struggle to even get activated let alone be on the field for On the on offense unless somebody gets hurt, so I'm going under on that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You've got multiple people, of course, who could get hurt, and some of this is about how much 12 and 13 personnel the Ravens really play, do these Josh Qu Davis as a guy to close out games as a full back effectively, or extra inline blocker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I probably am over on Josh Qu Davis for 175 staffs.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he'll be activated.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 12 to 15 games somewhere in there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He'll be an active a couple of times though that about it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's one of the choices to be an active along with the the fifth outside linebacker and it one of their cornerbacks, whether that's, you know, maybe Chandler rivers could be an active for some games.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's going to be an active.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think we're going to see Andrew Hories and active for some games, but they have they have some real decisions to make about their an active.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so even injuries at another position will give quavus additional activations because they'll have walking wounded on their 53 that they can't assign to a quavus deactivation.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, 12 to 15 activations is what I call for him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I go, I'm going over on 175.

  [SPEAKER_01]: All right, my next one my last team over under here for the defense defensive takeaways I have at 24.5 as the over under yeah so the last three years they've they've had 20 17 and then 31 and 23 so 24.5.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so the team leader's last year and takeaways.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, it fluctuates, yeah, year to year.

  [SPEAKER_01]: 25 would kind of put, would have put them in the top 10 last year.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And a couple of years ago,

  [SPEAKER_01]: 25 would have been literally 15th.

  [SPEAKER_01]: It seems to be turnover is kind of going down as a whole in the league.

  [SPEAKER_01]: But, yeah, 25 would almost assuredly kind of put you in the top 10 and take away for the year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And my reasoning is this that the game script that Ravens will play for, I expect you very positive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The schedule, the things south and south and the two conferences will give them a lot of games where they had the lead.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And of course, that's what really correlates to turnovers is you have the lead and you force opponents to throw to try and catch up and they get careless with the football.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I like the improved past rush.

  [SPEAKER_01]: I like the fact that I think the Ravens offense will be getting leads and be getting big leagues to forced teams to just kind of strictly pass.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And with the past rush and creating pressure, I think Turnover is will be a lot higher this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he may pick up some touchdowns as a vertical threat, meaning I don't think they've really used flowers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They were doing all kinds of gadgetry behind the line of scrimmage with him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's not I don't want that totally taken out of his game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe maybe a Lajante Wester when he's on the field or even a Jacobi Lane who's done a lot of short crossing stuff and whatnot and is a guy who's got real speed after the catch.

  [SPEAKER_00]: or go to the tight ends, I would really like to see flowers featured more vertically because I think it stretches defense and threatens them more.

  [SPEAKER_01]: All right, I also have a Z-Flower's one, nine and a half yards per target for the season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's become a very devastating middle-of-the-field single-cut receiver, catching the ball between level two and three.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Those are typically going to pad those statistics.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He did have a really high catch rate last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Catch percentage was at 72.9, which was a career high.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if he's going to be able to maintain that specific part of it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think his yards per reception will be as high, but I don't know if he's going to be able to maintain that high catch rate.
