- 0:10What does the nanny do? OK, so we're done.
- 0:13Goodbye. You shut it off.
- 0:17Do not twist my words. Do not make me a victim.
- 0:20Sweetie, Just look at the mountain.
- 0:22That's what you saw that day. Just the knife in the kidneys
- 0:27over all these years and the sacrifices that I made to love
- 0:32you. You asked Brown's answer Season
- 0:514 Episode 4 The question and answer episode for the Browns.
- 0:56The first question and answer episode for the Browns.
- 1:00Anything you'd like to add, darling?
- 1:02No, just a good old fashioned Q&A for the Browns.
- 1:05Yes, even though it is a short episode, they get into plenty of
- 1:09things, plenty to discuss. Yeah, I think we used to have
- 1:13like 5 pages of notes perhaps. Yeah, a lot of notes.
- 1:16Lots of notes. The episode opens with the
- 1:19adults getting ready to sit on the couch.
- 1:21Like they're all getting miked up and they're like, here's some
- 1:24candid moments of our family talking.
- 1:27Didn't learn anything there. Trying to do some behind the
- 1:31scenes type of stuff, like, oh, look at us.
- 1:34We're just like so normal, just like you getting all maked up,
- 1:37going to sit on their couch. Kody's given the little scene
- 1:41like thing, like, what do you call that?
- 1:44Yeah. Clapper.
- 1:45I don't know. Yeah, the thing that has like
- 1:47the episode number and it's like the director is like.
- 1:52Tim Gibbons is listed on it as the director.
- 1:55Yeah, our fabulous director producer who is responsible for
- 1:59bringing the show into the zeitgeist.
- 2:01Yes. And of course it has to be Kody.
- 2:04He's got to be in charge. He's got to have that little
- 2:06little thingy thing. He's having a moment.
- 2:10Kody says that they received viewer questions and are going
- 2:14to pass around a tablet with these questions and read them
- 2:17and then answer them as a family.
- 2:20Well, as the adults in the family, not the whole family,
- 2:22yeah. Can you imagine if they did AQ
- 2:24and A with the kids in there so. Well, they will they do in
- 2:27future episodes. But when they're like that
- 2:29young, some of them, they'd be like, oh, what would they say?
- 2:32Yeah, I think they're pretty select about who the kids are in
- 2:35the future episodes. But I actually when I read the
- 2:39title, I thought, oh gosh, the kids.
- 2:40I thought it was going to be the kids and then it was just the
- 2:42adults. And that I was, I was thankful
- 2:44for that, yeah. I would think at a, no matter
- 2:47how questionable your parenting is, you need to draw lines
- 2:50somewhere. I don't know.
- 2:51I would hope. One would hope.
- 2:55Now the first question comes from Melissa Darling.
- 2:58Would you like to read Melissa's question?
- 3:00Melissa asks. Have you ever thought of
- 3:03throwing your hands up in the air and asking if it was all
- 3:07worth it? Wonderful, darling Kody starts
- 3:14answering by saying yes, we have days where we question and then
- 3:19there's footage of their day that they move to Vegas, which
- 3:23is so funny it cuts right into all of the chaos of their move
- 3:26day from Vegas. Vegas flashback Janelle's
- 3:29freaking out. Yes, she's losing it when she
- 3:32says, like, it's like brain damage with this group, which I
- 3:35always love. I always love this moment with
- 3:36Janelle because she's so frustrated with the family.
- 3:39Obviously frustrating trying to get them all to do anything.
- 3:42Must be like brain damage. Yeah, they were kind of short
- 3:46with that one, though. I mean, Kody kind of says like,
- 3:49yes, I think that we've all thought that, but then they show
- 3:52that clip and it's like. Yeah, Meri says.
- 3:55It's not usually everyone that you get frustrated with that
- 4:00there's usually one person that you're not frustrated with.
- 4:04So she always has someone that she can text.
- 4:06And I think Robyn's like, and it's usually me and I'm like, I
- 4:10hate you, Robyn. Yeah, she's like, that's when
- 4:12you text me. Yeah, fuck Robyn.
- 4:15Juts her chin out. That jaw bird, and she's on the
- 4:20far left side. So for this interview, Robyn is
- 4:23on the far left, Meri is next to her, Kody's in the middle, then
- 4:26it's Christine and Janelle's at the end.
- 4:28And you know, hey, I always put Janelle at the end and I'm like,
- 4:31Oh dear. I know.
- 4:32Don't you like wonder about the seating choices?
- 4:35Sometimes they're I think that they put Christine right next to
- 4:39Kody just because of the confrontations that they've been
- 4:43having lately. And so I think that there was
- 4:46reasoning behind that part of it.
- 4:49And when you were talking about the Clapper there, it did say
- 4:52episode 3-10 in the stuff that was written on it.
- 4:56I don't know for sure that that means it's the 10th episode of
- 5:00the third season from the perspective of filming, but it
- 5:04does align with our conspiracy theory that Season 3 and Season
- 5:084 were probably filmed contiguously continuously.
- 5:13Continuously. Like whatever the word is.
- 5:15Congruently. Congruently, yeah.
- 5:17I mean that they gave. They ended Season 3.
- 5:21There was the now not available Tell ALS that we covered at the
- 5:25end of the last season and now they're into Season 4, which I
- 5:29don't think there was actually a break in filming.
- 5:32I think that they've continued. It's a little odd to have
- 5:36episode 4 of your season be AQ and A like that.
- 5:40Doesn't seem like you're far enough into the season to be
- 5:43needing AQ and A for filler, or just that it's still so fresh in
- 5:49the season, so there's definitely something incongruous
- 5:54about this. Yeah, and it that makes sense
- 5:57that they filmed so much stuff that they thought they could
- 5:59break it into two seasons maybe. Yeah, Kody says that no one will
- 6:04experience loneliness in their family because they're all going
- 6:07to be there for each other. Abandonment.
- 6:12Abandonment brought off like, all the time.
- 6:15Totally. It's like your wives are
- 6:18probably all pretty lonely now, Janelle.
- 6:21I don't think Janelle gets lonely much.
- 6:22I think Janelle is pretty cool with her autonomy, but I think
- 6:26several of your family members are lonely regular.
- 6:28Right. No one will ever get lonely.
- 6:31No one will ever be lonely. You ever heard of feeling alone
- 6:33in a crowded room, Kody? Probably not because you try to
- 6:36be the center of attention in every crowded room.
- 6:38Totally. Kody's like, I'm never lonely.
- 6:40It's like, right, We get it. Yeah.
- 6:44Question 2 came from Kimber. She volunteered that she was
- 6:48very, very young, just a young adult. 19 and I wrote this
- 6:52question and. You wrote this question and
- 6:54because you were just so enthralled with the Brown
- 6:56family, you had a great question.
- 6:58Everyone looks great. How is the weight loss going?
- 7:03Which is totally a question you would ask because they do look
- 7:06so great. So good.
- 7:10So Dang good. They all look so thin and young
- 7:13and vibrant. Oh, gosh, yeah, Janelle says
- 7:16that it's been slow. It's slow after 40, but after
- 7:21eight months, she's still lost over 17 inches, right?
- 7:25I mean. I mean, she looks good.
- 7:33Yeah, she's lost some weight. I really honestly with any of
- 7:37them can't tell a difference. And I know that that's probably
- 7:40like mean, but from like the view of them sitting on the
- 7:43couch, yeah, in this Q&A, it's like you don't look any
- 7:48different, but whatever. I would not assume that any of
- 7:51them were on a weight last journey based on this episode.
- 7:54Definitely not. They just look how they've
- 7:56always looked. But Meri has the best answer.
- 7:59Oh, yes, she was doing well a few months ago.
- 8:01But then, But then she's had her topple.
- 8:08She drove, she skied into some rocks.
- 8:10No, that was early in the episode.
- 8:13Oh, God. But she says she was doing well
- 8:16until my ski accident, L0L 0L0 L her ski accident, Yeah.
- 8:22Then they have to show us footage of Meri's ski accident
- 8:25where she topples over and it's like, oh.
- 8:29No, I heard a pop. I heard a pop and now I have to
- 8:32wear a knee brace. Oh my God.
- 8:34Such good news that she has recently lost 8 lbs.
- 8:38Yeah, regardless of said ski accident.
- 8:40Well, you know, and good for her.
- 8:42Could I tell? Sure.
- 8:47Oh, boy, I'm, I'm not even trying to be mean with that.
- 8:51I just honestly, it's like you sit, you're sitting here in
- 8:54these positions and it's not flattering for any of you.
- 8:57And you, yeah, there's no difference.
- 9:00Sorry. For example, if I was to be
- 9:02like, I lost 8 lbs. I mean cool.
- 9:05You know, like water weight fluctuation between days can be
- 9:09a pound or two just in and of itself.
- 9:11And then like, did you poop? Did you eat?
- 9:13I mean 8 lbs. I'm not going to say you lose 8
- 9:15lbs in a day and no one notices, but it's not really that big of
- 9:18a deal. This is why I don't weigh
- 9:20myself. This is why what we were talking
- 9:21about the non scale victories before are usually more telling.
- 9:26I don't know. Agreed, Meri certainly didn't
- 9:28lose any weight on the top of her head because her hair, oh
- 9:32God. Oh her hair was another
- 9:33character this episode. It was very dry.
- 9:36It was very what was going on with.
- 9:39That straight, but it there were so many layers, so many layers
- 9:45like above her ears layers, but it's like ish length kind of so
- 9:53but she's straightening it too now.
- 9:55So it's like the layers are straightened flat, but you can
- 9:59see like all the like layers. Like I don't even know how to
- 10:03describe the hand movement that I'm making, but they're very
- 10:07prominent layers. So one thing that I noticed a
- 10:11hair wise from the get go that I couldn't stop looking at it was
- 10:16a Robyn sausage curls. What's a sausage curl?
- 10:20It's like A1 curl that's like, all together still.
- 10:24Yeah. Like, they took the curling
- 10:26iron, they curled the hair, they pulled it out and they left it.
- 10:30And this is one of those things that nobody would do nowadays.
- 10:34You would run your fingers through those curls.
- 10:37Oh yeah, at the very minimum. Yeah, I mean, you might let it
- 10:39cool so that it sets and then run your fingers through it.
- 10:44But I've noticed this in multiple of like, the couch
- 10:48moments where she's got these sausage curls and I'm just like,
- 10:52run your fingers through her hair.
- 10:55God. Robyn, I mean, it is funny that
- 10:58there's anything called sausage around her face.
- 11:00Like, that's amazing. That's amazing.
- 11:04Oh boy, just accentuates the features even more.
- 11:08She's so beautiful. Yeah. #3 comes from Delaney on
- 11:14Twitter. What is this question?
- 11:16Darling from Delaney on Twitter. Delaney would like to know if
- 11:20Kody spends more time with a wife after she gives birth than
- 11:24the other women so that he can help her with the baby.
- 11:28This is something that I honestly was wondering myself
- 11:31because what the fuck If I had a newborn and you were only with
- 11:36me every 4th day I would be a. Lunatic, right?
- 11:41That'd be nuts. I'd be batshit crazy.
- 11:45And Kody says yes, I do. Kody, of course.
- 11:48Oh. Yes, yes.
- 11:51And we get a flashback to him and little Saul.
- 11:54Yeah, and he's like, oh, who's my cute little boy?
- 11:58Oh, my little baby. Kody admits though that he was
- 12:02not always like that and he basically says yes, that he's
- 12:07been more there for Robyn because of the separate houses.
- 12:12It's made it harder so he has to be over there more.
- 12:16Was like the vibe I was getting from his answer.
- 12:19Excuses, excuses. I mean I'm not saying he
- 12:22shouldn't be with her more. She did just have a baby and she
- 12:24deserves to have her husband there, but to me it just sounds
- 12:28like another excuse as to why he's spending more time with
- 12:31her. Oh yeah, and Robyn agrees.
- 12:33You know, he does come in and helps the dishes and he's such a
- 12:36great husband. House.
- 12:38Husband. House, husband.
- 12:40Excuse me, a house? Husband.
- 12:41Yes. I'm just imagining him going
- 12:43into the other wives homes and doing a bunch of domestics.
- 12:46I don't think so. No.
- 12:48And so going to Robyn's and maybe she's just boosting him
- 12:51up, like literally, maybe he throws some dishes in the
- 12:53dishwasher and she's like, oh, wow, he just does so much
- 12:57because she's got to feed his ego and make him seem like, you
- 13:00know, God's gift. Yeah, they show him like a
- 13:02washing dishes at her house. I think at that point I think he
- 13:07probably when he goes from house to house, don't you think he
- 13:10acts like his whole life is a vacation?
- 13:14Like he probably doesn't have to do like most of his own tasks
- 13:17anymore, unless it's some of the outside labor that needs to be
- 13:21done. I think so because I think part
- 13:24of the issue with even some of the wives in the way that are
- 13:27his view of how he's treated by the wives is Robyn eventually
- 13:31does we learn more about how she along with the nanny bit and how
- 13:36she doesn't ask for help for the kids.
- 13:38I think she gets everything done around the house so that he
- 13:40doesn't have to do anything. And I'm not saying she does it.
- 13:43I think eventually she probably hires a nanny.
- 13:45Well, she does get a nanny, a housekeeper that comes in and
- 13:49cleans. I think that she will hire
- 13:51people on thumbtacks. She'll ask the neighbors.
- 13:53She'll do anything so that Kody doesn't have to do anything at
- 13:56the house. Meanwhile, a wife like Christine
- 14:00maybe, like, I'm hoping that you can do this thing and then
- 14:03eventually over the years has probably learned to just do it
- 14:05all herself. Yeah, Robyn wants to be
- 14:07honeymoon Robyn. Oh yeah.
- 14:09Everything is perfect here and you don't have to do anything
- 14:12for me. I'm low maintenance and you can
- 14:14probably just like, fuck me, yeah, while you're here, yeah.
- 14:18And be cutesy and Playhouse. Yeah, 100%.
- 14:21In a different manner like. Let's put the kids to bed at
- 14:247:00. I don't want to hear a peep out
- 14:25of you like the whole 9 yards. It just seems like child play
- 14:29between them and just her comment of even hurt like
- 14:33saying, oh, my little house husband when he comes over here.
- 14:36It's just so juvenile. And the other women are like
- 14:41rolling their eyes at it. Maybe not literally, but you can
- 14:45tell that they're like gag gag me now.
- 14:48Yeah, Kody says. I'm not sure if I was that
- 14:50helpful for Janelle with Logan and Janelle.
- 14:55Oh my God. So good, now pipes up.
- 14:59The next day after giving birth, we went shopping for a truck.
- 15:02Yeah. And Kody gives a look.
- 15:05He's evolved. Janelle says.
- 15:07He's evolved. But the look that Kody gave was
- 15:11totally like, yeah, you busted me.
- 15:13And I'm just going to give a little smile like, ha ha, yes,
- 15:17that's true, blah blah blah. She's trying to have a good
- 15:20sense of humor about it. But literally like her his first
- 15:23born child. And the next day, he's like,
- 15:24remember, we got to go shop for a truck like.
- 15:26I was thinking, OK, if this had happened maybe after child four
- 15:31or five with another wife, not with the wife that just gave
- 15:36birth. Why the fuck are you out?
- 15:38Like bleeding out of your vagina wearing like heavy pads because
- 15:43you just birthed a baby. I'm assuming that she had a
- 15:46vaginal birth here. None of my business.
- 15:48Maybe she didn't, but there is just well, if she didn't, she
- 15:52wouldn't be up and out of bed moving around.
- 15:54So she's cleaning out of her pussy and she's just like
- 15:57walking around with his giant pad in like going through rows
- 16:02of trucks looking for a truck with him or going to farms and
- 16:06looking at like farm trucks because they can't buy a new
- 16:09truck probably at this point. Like what the fuck are you
- 16:12doing? That's gross.
- 16:15It is gross. I didn't really think about her
- 16:18gaping vagina. I.
- 16:20Mean the day after giving birth. Most of the time you're still.
- 16:25Maybe they're being dramatic here because most of the time
- 16:27you're still in the hospital, but maybe you weren't back then.
- 16:29Maybe she had a lot of home births.
- 16:31If I remember correctly, I think they were.
- 16:32I think all of her births except for maybe one were home births
- 16:36or something. For the first one and like this
- 16:39isn't like an experienced family at this point.
- 16:41This is the first baby for the entire family.
- 16:43Meri. She hasn't had a baby yet.
- 16:44Yeah, I think it's home. I don't know, but I'm assuming
- 16:48she says that at some other point, something along the lines
- 16:51of like, all of my birds were home or I've had both, but I
- 16:55prefer home. Like, I actually don't know.
- 16:57Don't quote me. Oh God, You come to this podcast
- 17:00for reliable information. Janelle's first birth happened
- 17:04where? I don't know.
- 17:05I mean, come on. I mean it happened on the side
- 17:07of a Creek bed on Crody's parents property and they washed
- 17:11that baby in the stream and the love in the Lord Christ's name
- 17:15as soon as it was born. Preach it, sister, preach it.
- 17:18That's exactly what happened, right?
- 17:20They beat that baby over a rock and it was like, oh, the baby is
- 17:24clean. Hallelujah.
- 17:25What's it to you? Hallelu.
- 17:29Just baffled. Just baffled by the whole thing.
- 17:31That's all I got to say. Baffled question #4 Renee wrote
- 17:35in and asks. How is it that the investigation
- 17:40doesn't carry on even though you're in Nevada?
- 17:43Or does it? All the best, she ends a
- 17:47question with all the best, which I love.
- 17:50They get defensive. Well, now the footage starts the
- 17:53like, flashback footage to camera crews outside of the
- 17:55Lehigh house from when they went public.
- 17:57And I believe the bottom third says like day they went public
- 18:00or something. It's a day they went public.
- 18:03This is from early on in the show where these camera crews
- 18:06are showing up outside the house and it gives them a perfect
- 18:08opportunity to act frantic and be crazy.
- 18:11It looks like there's a couple moments where Christina's legit
- 18:13seeing things like there are people out there.
- 18:15It is what it is. But of course, in classic TLC
- 18:18fashion, it's like you have to have the music and the the
- 18:21person walking by the window makes it look like there's like,
- 18:23oh, and it's like it's a person walking by the window.
- 18:25Yeah, I think there's like a truck and two guys across the
- 18:28street totally and one has like a camera stand and so probably
- 18:33looks worse than it is, but. Yeah, it certainly wasn't like
- 18:37the Tonya Harding story or the OJ Simpson case, Like.
- 18:40It was just a couple. People outside your house, but
- 18:43OK. Oh my goodness.
- 18:45But that was the day that they went public.
- 18:47And so people were curious. But Robyn Robyn's answer to this
- 18:55is just. Robyn's the only one that gives
- 18:58us any real information and it's oh, that's, that's giving her a
- 19:01lot of. That isn't.
- 19:02Right. No.
- 19:03The opposite. Robyns the only one that says
- 19:06anything. Yeah, but she's super defensive
- 19:09and she says that they don't know and they haven't been
- 19:12notified either way. And that's all there is.
- 19:16That's all there is to know about it.
- 19:17Next question. OK, girl.
- 19:20Why you getting so defensive? Yeah.
- 19:22Also, I don't believe you. I do not believe, Robyn, that
- 19:26they don't know anything about anything like no, no, they've
- 19:30been updated in some manner. Don't you think that was stupid
- 19:33of them to let her answer of all people, like, come on, have like
- 19:37a thought out answer to like, OK, if anyone asks about the
- 19:42investigation, this is what we need to say.
- 19:44Like, duh. Your lawyer probably prepped
- 19:46you. Like they've said it in other
- 19:48interviews. Oh, no comment on that or we
- 19:50can't speak on that right now. All you would have had to say is
- 19:54we don't have, you know, much information, but we're working
- 19:57with our lawyer on it just in case, you know, anything happens
- 20:00and that's all. And based on the show, what we
- 20:04have seen thus far on the show, you would assume that one of the
- 20:07obvious questions is going to be what is going on with the
- 20:09investigation like that you uprooted your family and left in
- 20:12the hullabaloo, and now everything's kind of chaotic
- 20:15because of this, supposedly because of this investigation
- 20:19that might come up. And if the default is let Robyn
- 20:22talk about it. My God.
- 20:24Good fucking luck. Yeah, Jesus.
- 20:27You're right. She knows.
- 20:28She sounded so defensive. And just like you're lying and.
- 20:34It felt like, oh, let's, let's throw this question to Robyn,
- 20:38like, let's see what she has to say about it because no one else
- 20:42spoke up. No one said anything.
- 20:43And like you pick the worst person or let the worst person
- 20:46fucking answer like no one even tried to interrupt her and like
- 20:49give a good answer. So that just made it look even
- 20:52worse in my opinion. Good job Browns.
- 20:56Question five came to us from Vicki and she's looking for
- 20:59advice. What would be the do's and
- 21:01don'ts of looking for a sister, wife and Janelle's like, well
- 21:06this is a religious thing for us.
- 21:09Jen Kody interrupts though, and says that his trait it would be
- 21:15all about honesty, yes? To be completely honest.
- 21:19To be completely honest. To be completely honest, men
- 21:22need their wives to know about these things when they're
- 21:25searching for another wife. You need to be open with your
- 21:27wives. They need to know nothing in
- 21:29secrecy. Definitely not in the polygamous
- 21:31cults. No secrecy.
- 21:33But then they another flashback to him telling the kids about
- 21:39Robyn. Yeah, about asking Robyn if she
- 21:42wants to join the family, Yes. Yeah, and it's like, oh, OK,
- 21:48let's be honest. And then we're going to show
- 21:50this cute little clip, but then we're not going to show the end
- 21:52of the clip where we tell all the kids to fucking lie about
- 21:55it. Right.
- 21:56This isn't so amazing. It's all about honesty.
- 21:59And then it's like they show a flashback to a scene that was
- 22:02refilmed, according to Gwendolyn, refilmed because the
- 22:05first take didn't really work so great.
- 22:08So we're going to refilm him saying this.
- 22:10And then in the whole scenario, Christine's like we're going to
- 22:13lie to the small children. Right.
- 22:16Oh, absurd. Yeah.
- 22:17Great example there, Kody. Honesty.
- 22:20Honesty for sure. Sweet, sweet honesty.
- 22:23And Meri provides us a voiceover where she says you need to have
- 22:27a religious calling. You don't just go looking for a
- 22:30sister wife. Yeah, the religious calling.
- 22:34Part yeah definitely need a religious calling for sure, but
- 22:39burning bosom? Question #6 Sandra, what is
- 22:45Kody? 'S Why are you laughing?
- 22:50Are you laughing at Sandra? At poor Sandra's question?
- 22:53No, Poor Sandra. Oh gosh, question #6 Sandra
- 22:58wants to ask what is Kody's favorite trait of each wife and
- 23:04what are their least favorite traits of Kody's?
- 23:08Personality traits Personality traits very important because.
- 23:13I miss. You know.
- 23:15Well. Because Meri Meri does have a
- 23:18call she gets. A little mad about that.
- 23:20Yeah, you're right. She's got a little call out
- 23:22there and Kody says it's a trap. He does.
- 23:26It's a trap. OK, Admiral Ackbar, this isn't
- 23:29Star Wars. Oh God, got a trap.
- 23:31It's a trap. It's a trap.
- 23:33And he makes some jokes. I, I don't know, did you care
- 23:36about any of the jokes? And I don't know.
- 23:38Meri says it's a beautiful question.
- 23:42A beautiful, beautiful. Question like she wants to know
- 23:46this like for. Real yes, yes, yeah.
- 23:50And Janelle says I've got one because they have this banter
- 23:53right about like, oh, was the banter like, oh, who knows?
- 23:56Or, oh, Kody couldn't. Yeah, no.
- 23:58And then Kody like switches the like flips the script and he
- 24:02think he's like, I think that the wives need to answer first,
- 24:05even though it was about Kody First off.
- 24:07Like it started asking Kody and then the wives least favorite
- 24:12about Kody. So he is like struggling to
- 24:15answer what he likes personality wise about his wives.
- 24:19He's the. One that starts with the
- 24:21positive. Yeah.
- 24:23And then they're supposed to each have a negative about him,
- 24:25so he's flipping the script on them, which I just noticed right
- 24:31away that he was riding the struggle bus here.
- 24:35He's always on that bus. Can't even think of anything.
- 24:39And Janelle but but when he does, you know, flip the script
- 24:42to be like, hey wives, why don't you say something bad about me
- 24:45before I say something nice about you?
- 24:48Janelle goes well, I've got 1. Kody's sense of smell.
- 24:51And they show clips of him like, smelling garlic in Robyn's
- 24:56fridge and saying, well, it smells like really garlicky in
- 24:59here. It's like they're, they're all
- 25:02saying that he has like a bad nose.
- 25:05And Robyn says she agrees. Yeah, yeah.
- 25:07Isn't that weird? Like what does he have?
- 25:10Like he must have a sensitive nose.
- 25:12He has something too, because there's also like a running joke
- 25:15about how certain wives prepare food.
- 25:18And it's as elementary as like, well, I don't like salt on my
- 25:21eggs. I like pepper on my eggs.
- 25:22Like Christine will tell you all about how I like my eggs, Like,
- 25:26OK. Like, I mean, what kind of eggs
- 25:27are these? And why is this like a such a
- 25:29thing? Like, I don't know, just season
- 25:31the eggs. Like, I don't know.
- 25:32Like, he's super fucking picky. Yeah, I do remember that, that
- 25:35when Robyn joins the family, she has to learn how to make his
- 25:39eggs right from one of the other wives.
- 25:41And that he loves celery. And it's like, isn't celery
- 25:44mostly water? Like it's kind.
- 25:46Of celery right like I. Like celery, but with a lot of
- 25:49peanut butter on it. I mean, it's not like something
- 25:51you're like. Ants on the log come on exactly
- 25:54but. Yeah, like, oh, there's water
- 25:56filled grass. Like, I don't know, he's weird.
- 26:01He is someone that would fucking love celery.
- 26:03God damn. I mean, I wish I remembered what
- 26:07she specifically said, 'cause it was something like, yeah, Kody
- 26:10sense of smell, like he'll come home and say, what's that smell?
- 26:14And I'm going like, oh God. I wonder what Janelle's house
- 26:16smells like though. I know.
- 26:18I was wondering that, too, because she said it very like,
- 26:21oh, yeah, this really bothers me.
- 26:22And he comes home and says this. And yeah, then they show like,
- 26:26the clip of, you know, him at Robyn's house because Robyn
- 26:28agrees with him. And obviously they had to find a
- 26:32clip of it somewhere, so they tracked that garlic smell down.
- 26:36But yeah, it makes you wonder, like what is he smelling at
- 26:39Janelle's? I don't know.
- 26:41I often wonder what the smell is like when people come into my
- 26:45home too. So.
- 26:47Well, this is I mean, places have different smells.
- 26:50I'm not trying to put it out into the universe that Janelle
- 26:53stinks or that her house stinks. But if there was anyone whose
- 26:59house smells bad, oh I guess I'd give it to Christine.
- 27:02So I don't know. It's between Christine or
- 27:03Janelle for the worst smelling house.
- 27:05Christine's house probably smells like burnt toast.
- 27:07Oh, God, it smells like burnt stuff, burnt things all the
- 27:10time. And then just like kind of
- 27:12filth. I don't know.
- 27:13Like she's messy. She's a mess of this interior
- 27:16decorator, Christine. Yeah.
- 27:18With her fucking nasty house. He's like one of those asshole
- 27:21guys though, that you like spend a bunch of money on like a nice
- 27:23candle for yourself and you light it and he comes home and
- 27:26he's like, oh, that fucking reeks.
- 27:28Or oh, like that pumpkin smell. I can't stand that.
- 27:33Oh, it's like, well, good thing you're only here every four
- 27:35days. I won't light my expensive
- 27:37candle all your asses here and waste it on you then.
- 27:40Well, it would be nice if someone has particularities and
- 27:42then, well, the only thing is then you have to schedule it and
- 27:45be mindful of it. And yeah, if you're Christine, I
- 27:47mean, he shows up late and leaves early.
- 27:49So how much effort are you going to do for him to show up at
- 27:51dinner time and then leave at 6:00 AM the next morning?
- 27:53Like, Oh my God. Although maybe for yourself,
- 27:57Christine, you could not live in squalor.
- 28:00Anyway, Meri says to Kody, I love you.
- 28:04And then she goes, He's too serious.
- 28:08That's Meri's thing about Kody is that he's too serious.
- 28:12Christine Pipeson talking about how he answers rhetorical
- 28:15questions and he doesn't have to, which makes me think of when
- 28:18men do that, it kind of drives me nuts.
- 28:21Like if you're asking a rhetorical question, like, Oh
- 28:24yeah, but what if this thing happened?
- 28:25And then they're like, well, what if it does happen?
- 28:27And it's like, Oh my God, that was not a real question.
- 28:30Like and do this all the time. It's because he's trying to
- 28:33sound smarter than he is. OK.
- 28:36Like, there's no reason for it other than the fact that he
- 28:39just, like, is trying to make himself look smart.
- 28:42Probably, of course. And then Robyn, Oh, he says.
- 28:47I don't even know a lot. Yeah, Robyn says.
- 28:50I'll ask him what happened about something and he'll say, oh, I
- 28:53don't even know. And Meri agrees.
- 28:55Oh, I don't even know. You got to get the even in
- 28:57there. I don't even know.
- 28:58That would drive me nuts if it was like does he just not pay
- 29:02attention and so he says that a lot?
- 29:04I don't even know. Or is he just fucking lazy and
- 29:07doesn't want to have a conversation about something so
- 29:10he says it? My gut is telling me that he
- 29:13says he doesn't even know because he's not paying
- 29:17attention or his take away is only half really informed.
- 29:22He doesn't really. He doesn't really know.
- 29:25There's something about the edit that changes through the show,
- 29:28like going up to right now in time of recording.
- 29:31We're wrapping up Season 20 and production.
- 29:34The producer has changed, production companies change and
- 29:37they leave in more stuff about Kody being kind of like an
- 29:41idiot. Like he's not very smart.
- 29:44He has like a youthful thing that sounds complimentary, like
- 29:50young and dumb like like a like a little boy.
- 29:53I agree with you. I think I see that now though.
- 29:57I feel like I've seen that from the get go that he acts like
- 30:00this, like juvenile teenage boy a lot that's giddy sometimes
- 30:05over stupid like shit that it's like, Oh my gosh, that's
- 30:09something a teenage boy would be excited about.
- 30:13But he gets weirdly giddy over things.
- 30:17And so, yeah, I can see that being it, that he just really
- 30:21doesn't know. But I don't know if he would
- 30:24admit if he didn't really know something Like if you were
- 30:28asking him a serious question and he didn't know the answer,
- 30:30he doesn't strike me as a type of man that wouldn't just come
- 30:34up with a fake answer to seem smart.
- 30:36So I think he's using it when he is not paying attention to them.
- 30:41So the fact that they all pipe up again and agree with the fact
- 30:45that he does this a lot, it's like, do you fucking listen to
- 30:47these women? Do you ever listen to these
- 30:50women? I don't know.
- 30:51He probably doesn't Oh God, or he doesn't.
- 30:55Then it's like I'm not willing to acknowledge it.
- 30:57Like I don't want to talk about it.
- 30:58Like I'm not going to talk about it with another wife.
- 31:00Like if this happened at Christine's and she's asking for
- 31:02clarity, I could see him being like, even if it's not an issue
- 31:05between him and Christine, if it's like a plan for something,
- 31:08he's like, I don't know. I've had my.
- 31:10He's been in trouble for not knowing before.
- 31:13He's not known, so now he just defaults to like.
- 31:15I don't even know. Like exiting his exit from the
- 31:18situation. Like if someone was asking about
- 31:21dinner plans that night with another wife and I don't even
- 31:25know. I don't even know.
- 31:27Christine says that she thinks he should compliment us more.
- 31:30Yeah, she wishes that he would compliment them more.
- 31:33Yeah. And then, like, he's such an
- 31:36idiot. He's just like, Oh yeah, you
- 31:38know, like you're making that shirt work.
- 31:41And then Christine, of course, makes fun of him for being a
- 31:43robot after being prompted for a compliment because she says
- 31:47things like that. And then he says some default
- 31:49compliment, like you're really making that shirt work.
- 31:52For the record, she wasn't making any shirt work.
- 31:55No, but it's like, oh gosh, yeah, she gets pissed at that.
- 32:00And she's like, it's not, it's OK.
- 32:02This is like the typical woman thing, right?
- 32:05Like you want your partner to do things on their own organically
- 32:09without having to ask them, but then they don't do it, which is
- 32:14super frustrating. But they're not going to know if
- 32:17you don't ask them. But he says he literally goes
- 32:21into robot mode when she asks for compliments and he turns it
- 32:26into this jokey thing, the juvenile thing, I guess, coming
- 32:30up again, like Christine, I like your shirt.
- 32:34And he literally does this like bit or he's pretending to be a
- 32:37robot. And I gathered from that that he
- 32:41actually does that. Right that he like pretends to
- 32:45go into default mode of giving compliment like.
- 32:49Yeah, like imagine being home alone with somebody, like in
- 32:53your serious life, right? And you're standing out the
- 32:57fridge and you're looking at all the cheese in your fridge,
- 33:01deciding what what cheese to put on your nachos in your oven that
- 33:06you're going to burn all. Those nachos.
- 33:08And and you say to your husband, I got a new haircut today.
- 33:14Do you like it? And he goes, yes, Christine, I
- 33:18like your haircut. I would get that shredded cheese
- 33:22out of the fridge and I would throw it in his face.
- 33:26Oh my God. Well, melt it first so that it
- 33:28burns. 1st. Thank you for the Nacho bit and
- 33:33the tie into the burning in the. Brilliant, brilliant.
- 33:38Brilliant applause. Applause from the audience.
- 33:41And of course, Meri turns to Kody and says, well, what are
- 33:44your favorite things about us? Because that was the first part
- 33:47of the question that he dodged. Yeah.
- 33:50And then Kody says I'm going to go in order.
- 33:53I'm going to go in order. Which is so funny because
- 33:56crossing your T's dotting your eyes, but also like God to be a
- 34:02spouse of someone who's like, I'll go in order and like it's
- 34:06probably always like that with certain with certain things, you
- 34:09know? Give me the ick.
- 34:11Right. Like we got to go to Meri and
- 34:13then Janelle and then Christine and then Robyn.
- 34:14That's the way it goes. It feels very much like when
- 34:18you're in school and it's everything's going by the
- 34:22alphabet and you're in the same spot in line at the beginning or
- 34:26at the end every time, and it's just so annoying.
- 34:29Like he would forget one of them if you didn't do it in order.
- 34:32Yes, yeah, it's like a checklist.
- 34:34Yeah. So do you want to give us his
- 34:36four honey? Sure.
- 34:38Oh, Meri's compliment here is that she's very organized and
- 34:44neat in her living. In her living.
- 34:46In her living, I mean, that's his compliment, other than the
- 34:50fact that we know it would have been about her gorgeous hair.
- 34:55Well, of course. But yeah, she's very organized
- 34:58and neat in her living. Other than her hair, I love her
- 35:01organization, which he doesn't compliment her hair.
- 35:03He doesn't compliment her on actually anything about her.
- 35:06No personality, which was the question, but we'll get back to
- 35:10that. Janelle.
- 35:13She's sweet and easy about things.
- 35:16What? OK, well, this is true.
- 35:21She is very easy going. Yeah.
- 35:24With him, yeah. Let's him get away with a lot.
- 35:26I would hope that my spouse of 20 years would have something to
- 35:29say beyond sweet and easy. Yeah, the way he worded that
- 35:33sweet, she's sweet and easy. I'm like, Oh well.
- 35:36Maybe he also means she's easy, like he gets to put it in her
- 35:39whenever he feels like so. That's like instantly where my
- 35:42mind went with that and I was like, I know that's not what he
- 35:44means, but I was. Like I can't wait for Kody to
- 35:46come home once every four days, impound me, and then leave so I
- 35:51can recuperate and not have to deal with him.
- 35:55Christine's compliment is that she is easy to enjoy things
- 36:01with. It's easy to enjoy things with
- 36:04her. What?
- 36:07Again? What?
- 36:09And then Robyn. Oh, Robyn's compliment, her
- 36:13kindness and ability to forgive. You might as well have pointed
- 36:19to the last three and said same, same same.
- 36:23I like your kindness, your sweetness and your lightness and
- 36:26your easiness and your whatever. Like OK.
- 36:29These are such basic basic compliments.
- 36:33Now, ability to forgive makes me think that Robyn is so
- 36:36manipulative and twisted that she has made him think that he
- 36:40needs a lot of forgiveness from her, or that she's forgiving the
- 36:45wives for things and pointing it out to him.
- 36:48Like there's some reason that he really thinks she is so great
- 36:52with forgiveness. That's like for what?
- 36:55That's true. I mean for her.
- 36:56Ex-husband, I mean did she forgive him when she stole the
- 36:58children and took away custody and like made him sound like a
- 37:01criminal to the rest of the world?
- 37:03I don't think that was very forgive, forgive.
- 37:06Forgiveable. Forgivable.
- 37:09Forgivable vibes. Yeah, there is definitely
- 37:11something to be read between the lines on that one.
- 37:17And of course, got to love it. Meri comes in at the end.
- 37:20Well, those three had personality traits.
- 37:22Mine was just about keeping the house clean.
- 37:25Yeah, she called that out. She was like mine wasn't about a
- 37:28personality trait. And then they show footage of
- 37:30Meri packing and it's so great for the move because she's just
- 37:34throwing totes on the truck and being Meri, she can move.
- 37:39The other wives that did pipe up during that and they were like,
- 37:42yeah, yeah, we wouldn't have been able to get here.
- 37:44We wouldn't have been able to do the move if it wasn't for Meri.
- 37:47Everyone's always got to jump in and offer the reassurance
- 37:51they're all. Trying to sell it.
- 37:52They're trying to like, sell us. That like, oh, of course it's
- 37:56Meri, Meri. We couldn't do anything without
- 37:58Meri. Like, yes, Meri, what we love
- 38:01about you is that you're organized and neat in your
- 38:04living. They're being kiss asses.
- 38:06They're all joined in on that one.
- 38:08Probably because they realize like how shitty these
- 38:11compliments are. I.
- 38:12Feel like they're trying to, like, spare her feelings, you
- 38:15know, like, make it like, no, no, no.
- 38:17Mayor. Like Mayor.
- 38:18We love you, Mayor. These compliments are basic,
- 38:23basic. It's like what you would do
- 38:25during a work thing like a work ice breaker.
- 38:28What do you like about your Co worker?
- 38:30Oh she's very sweet. She comes across so nice.
- 38:32And fuck Ice Breakers. Fuck Ice Breakers.
- 38:35Yeah, here's an ice breaker for your spouse like Jesus Christ.
- 38:40Question #7 comes to us from Shannon and I don't know, no
- 38:45offense to the Shannons out there, love you, love you, love
- 38:48you, but I'd love to say like Shannon.
- 38:51No, Shannon. Oh, Shannon coming in with her
- 38:54questions, it's like, what does that have to do with anything?
- 38:56I have no idea. Do any of the wives ever wonder
- 39:01what it would be like to be the only wife and if Kody be with
- 39:05that family unit all of the time?
- 39:08Thanks for that beautiful question, Shannon.
- 39:10Shannon. Shannon.
- 39:12Coming in with the feel goods, Shannon.
- 39:14Oh gosh. Oh, Kody says on the bad days,
- 39:18we all think of that. On those bad days now, yeah.
- 39:22I mean, don't we all make hypotheticals?
- 39:25And I don't want to say it's healthy to live in delulu land
- 39:29of like, you know, why am I in this situation?
- 39:31And like maybe making yourself a victim or making things worse
- 39:34for yourself in your head. Like, I'm not saying that that's
- 39:37good, but if anyone was to say but no, they never would think
- 39:43of that, I would call them a liar and a fraud.
- 39:45And what does Meri do? Are you calling Meri a liar and
- 39:48a fraud? Yes, I am.
- 39:50Slow your roll, Christopher, because she denies this
- 39:55vehemently. She put her hand on that Bible
- 39:57and she said no. Kody goes like, Oh yeah, I've
- 40:01asked Meri that before and she said yes.
- 40:05And Meri's like, no, you've never asked me that, right?
- 40:08She's like shaking when he she says that.
- 40:11She gets her Meri face on. No, Kody, you have never asked
- 40:15me that. I never, never wish that.
- 40:18I've never thought that about you and Leon.
- 40:21Like, OK, lady, calm down. And almost like getting
- 40:23defensive, like it's like. She was defensive about it.
- 40:26Honestly, you sound crazy. Like denying a conversation that
- 40:31you ever had with your husband and he's just like, oh, he's so
- 40:35confused. He was so confused.
- 40:36When even if he hadn't asked the question, OK fine, but like you,
- 40:40you were going to sit here and say in front of cameras, in
- 40:43front of crew, televised on national television.
- 40:47Never thought about it. Never thought it would be like
- 40:49to be married to Kody alone. It's like you were married to
- 40:51Kody alone actually 1st and you didn't ever once after Janelle
- 40:55joined. Thought I wonder what it be like
- 40:58if she wasn't here. Like it might be better if
- 41:00things still were the way that they were before.
- 41:03She's so insane. That is an insane thing.
- 41:06And she's calling more attention to it by her reaction because
- 41:10they used that in the preview clip, like twice.
- 41:14They used it at the very beginning, and then they used it
- 41:16as like the commercial break, like flash to what's happening
- 41:20after the commercial break thing.
- 41:22And it's like, you just did this to yourself.
- 41:24Yeah. Like you called so much
- 41:26attention to that. She.
- 41:27Totally does that all the time too with her like merriness.
- 41:30It's like, Oh my God, Merry, calm down.
- 41:32And then Christine says that she definitely has thought of it and
- 41:38they are for sure trying to make her look bad.
- 41:42She's the only one that pipes up and is honest and says that she
- 41:47has definitely thought of this. There have been moments where
- 41:50she's thought it would be easier if he was there all the time.
- 41:53Yeah. But now she looks back at all of
- 41:56her blessings that she has and the children that she has.
- 42:00The. Blessings she would never want
- 42:03to get rid of. She would never want it any
- 42:05different. Christine Alda.
- 42:08But she brings up the word abandoned again.
- 42:11She says that she feels abandoned at times, but then she
- 42:16looks at all of the blessings in her life and it's like, yeah,
- 42:21OK. I like the fact that she's the
- 42:24only one that's honest here, the only one that actually pipes up
- 42:27and says anything. But again, they sat her next to
- 42:31Kody for this, right? And they knew that she would
- 42:35probably have controversial answers compared to the other
- 42:38wives to some of these questions.
- 42:39And this is for sure a question that was picked because they
- 42:43knew that it would stir the pot. And of course Christine was
- 42:47going to say that she's thought this and this question was to
- 42:51paint her bed. And she's sitting right next to
- 42:53Kody. Juxtaposed on the other side is
- 42:55Meri. Yeah, we just discussed how
- 42:57Meri's feeding her this garbage about how she needs to make
- 43:00everything better. True.
- 43:01They're both part of this weird conversation that happened last
- 43:06episode. And now you've got these two
- 43:08opposing points of view is sitting right next to Kody and
- 43:11it's like, just in your face. Yeah.
- 43:13Meri. Oh my God.
- 43:15No, I've never thought of it. How dare you take a break?
- 43:20Eat a cookie. Fire is like coming out of her
- 43:22eyeballs is just saying it. Sometimes I don't she her vibe
- 43:26is so defensive and it's like why you being so defensive like.
- 43:30No. It's a lot.
- 43:32Now I'm just picturing your ass, the Elmo with his arms in the
- 43:36air shaking with the dumpster fire by to now I just like
- 43:40picture that as like her and that's her life and she's like
- 43:43denying it. So she's like, she's shaking.
- 43:46She goes to a restaurant and they're like, oh, water, would
- 43:49you like flat or bubbly or whatever they say, you know,
- 43:51like, do you want sparkling water or flat?
- 43:53And she's like, I only drink flat.
- 43:57It's like no one is accusing you of any crimes here.
- 44:01Just. I only drink water with hot
- 44:03sauce in it. Hot.
- 44:05Sauce. Oh my God.
- 44:08She's so, so fucking crazy. She's.
- 44:09So crazy. Like she just.
- 44:12Does some of this weird shit for attention and you're like, yeah,
- 44:15no one in their right mind would say that I would like salt water
- 44:18for my beverage. Please, everyone knows I want
- 44:21salt in my water. She's like the type.
- 44:24Of person that would do something like that.
- 44:26Everyone always tells me that I'm acting so crazy, and it's
- 44:30like, yeah, you kind of always are.
- 44:33Whatever. Whatever, Mayor Jesus.
- 44:37Question #8 is from Danielle. Danielle, I was wondering if you
- 44:43all believed in using protection?
- 44:47Some religions believe sex is solely for procreating.
- 44:52Seeing how your family keeps growing and growing, I just
- 44:57assume you thought the same, OK? So I'm going to do my best to
- 45:04know. I don't think I'm going to
- 45:11answer that question. Oh.
- 45:15Yeah, I don't think I'm going to answer that one.
- 45:19Kody's like, stuttering. Meri says this is the subject
- 45:25kept between each relationship, not even discussed amongst the
- 45:29family. Yeah, they don't talk about it
- 45:32together. But OK as a cult.
- 45:35OK as a cult. The cult they came from, which
- 45:38they have quickly abandoned as. Yeah, yeah.
- 45:41But they're the cult they were a part of for so long.
- 45:44It is set up that like, you know the man, like the more children
- 45:47you have, the better you are going to have be in heaven.
- 45:50The more wives you have, the better be in heaven.
- 45:52Sex really is for procreation. Christine is a little detailed
- 45:57about how her sex life with Kody started out.
- 46:00Dreadful dreadful, like borderline essay dreadful.
- 46:07So I just think that they do think that sex is about
- 46:12procreation dogmatically like that.
- 46:16That was always the way that it was.
- 46:17Probably if she was like kind of scared and like.
- 46:20Not and and was not experiencing pleasure for a long time.
- 46:24Yeah, that's so unfortunate. And that is one of these things
- 46:27that happens in super religious households, right?
- 46:33Like your parents raise you that like don't have sex, you will
- 46:37get pregnant and die. If you're especially like not
- 46:40married, like you have to be married and they scare you think
- 46:45they make you think that something horrible is going to
- 46:47happen to you. You don't have sex education, so
- 46:49you don't really know what to expect.
- 46:52So imagine getting married and that's your first sexual
- 46:56experience and you're like, wait, it goes where?
- 46:59And it's going to hurt and he doesn't care.
- 47:03Yeah, that's so. Awful.
- 47:05Not good. Now, I'm not trying to make too
- 47:08big of a leap with this example. I I'm just using it as a
- 47:11demonstration that I do think that, yes, for them, sex is
- 47:16primarily about procreation and a man's pleasure.
- 47:21And then in their family, I think it's probably a little bit
- 47:24more liberal. Like they, you know, they, they,
- 47:27they moved left. And now that he's with Robyn,
- 47:30they can have all the terrible, ugly sex that they want, I'm
- 47:33sure. And that's lovely without
- 47:35procreation is the main thing. But I mean, with Christine, I
- 47:38mean, I'm pretty sure it was like, obligatory slash, we're
- 47:43having children. Definitely with her and I would
- 47:47assume with Janelle as well. I yeah, I don't know about that.
- 47:51I would love to ask Janelle. I would love to ask Janelle
- 47:54about their sex life, right? Because some for some reason, I
- 47:58think Janelle and Kody had a lot of sex.
- 48:01I feel like they the reason he still to this day says things
- 48:05like, well, I don't know, I, you know, I love Janelle.
- 48:07I still love Janelle. I don't like he was into her and
- 48:10I don't, I think it had to do with that they were actually
- 48:15friends. But then also I think he liked
- 48:18giving it to her from the back. Do you think that she's felt
- 48:22that she had to try really hard with him?
- 48:25And so she was like that girl that gave really, really good
- 48:28head because she felt like she needed to, I don't know, like.
- 48:33Maybe she's just cock hungry, you know?
- 48:35Maybe she could be. She just might be a big old cock
- 48:37slut, but I don't I. I suspect that Janelle and Kody
- 48:44had an OK sex life. Like a good yeah or he.
- 48:49Wouldn't still be being kind to her to this day, probably.
- 48:52Like, he might want to come over and be like, remember how I used
- 48:55to like, you know, do that thing that I like.
- 48:58But I'm pretty sure Christine would not share that experience.
- 49:02And I'm pretty sure Meri only had that for a little while and
- 49:05then that pretty much drifted away.
- 49:07Yeah, Meri probably had it, but also questionable if she would
- 49:14be able to relax enough to be like into anything or like ever
- 49:20have, you know, great orgasm, mind blowing sex so.
- 49:25I Yeah. Yeah.
- 49:27I'm imagining that they were young and it was weird, but
- 49:30maybe not terrible. I'm pretty sure for Christine it
- 49:33was terrible. Yeah, I mean, Kody's just like
- 49:36he stutters through this until Meri gives that good answer
- 49:40about, you know, each wife gets to make their own choice and
- 49:43they keep that private and we keep it separate.
- 49:45And I don't know if I would agree with that.
- 49:51I feel like you would deserve to know to an extent what your
- 49:56sexual partner is doing. OK, That's really, it's weird to
- 50:01say because obviously I am in a marriage with one man and I
- 50:09would be like what the fuck, you know, if I ever got an STD or
- 50:14something, because obviously something would have fucking
- 50:16happened. And so I just feel like in a
- 50:21situation like that, you have to be so trusting of everybody in
- 50:26the marriage to not be like, OK, so do we use condoms?
- 50:31But are you using them with other people?
- 50:33Like to not know that just seems naive.
- 50:37And I do think they are religious or they were super
- 50:41religious at one point. So there is that expectation of
- 50:44know that nobody would step outside of the marriage.
- 50:47Nobody ever would do anything like that.
- 50:50So we wouldn't even have to worry about using condoms
- 50:53because we're always trying to get pregnant and there's never
- 50:57going to be an STD because nobody's ever going to cheat.
- 51:00So I think that they probably originally thought that and then
- 51:07maybe at some point here they start to worry about it.
- 51:11Yeah, I'm not sure that they ever really worry about it, but
- 51:16I don't like to make fun of Robyn's cold sores because
- 51:20honestly, it's like a cheap shot and like herpes and herpes
- 51:25adjacent whatnot is everywhere. But literally, like you shared
- 51:32it with the whole fam. Like it's just going around and
- 51:34around and around and around and you know that if it's oral
- 51:38herpes, then that just that could come from just kissing.
- 51:40So at the end of the day, like, I don't really know.
- 51:45The STD thing is interesting because they are such prudes
- 51:47that I doubt they're like, you know, giving each other
- 51:49chlamydia and whatever. But like, I don't know.
- 51:53I don't really know. Yeah, but even like, you're
- 51:55right, even a cold sore. Let's say somebody has an open
- 51:59cold sore and they kiss somebody and let's say Kody ends up
- 52:04getting the Herbie's simplex one or whatever it is that and then
- 52:11you know, he ends up having one. Then do you as a wife say like,
- 52:16I'm not going to kiss you when you have cold sores anymore that
- 52:20you got from your other wife? Like it's, it's a touchy like
- 52:23it's a weird thing because like, yes, on one hand, here it's only
- 52:27a it's only cold sore. Like a lot of people have them.
- 52:30Most people have the virus in their bodies, whether it's
- 52:32dormant or whatever. But you also have children,
- 52:36right? And as a mom, I've seen these
- 52:39really horrible posts where it's like, don't kiss my baby.
- 52:43Like This is why you don't kiss people's babies because you'll
- 52:48see like a little baby with a severe horrible herpes outbreak
- 52:53on their face. And it's like, OK, so like,
- 52:57Grandma came over and, like, kissed her grandbaby and had a
- 53:01cold sore, and now your poor little baby has.
- 53:05Yeah, that. So I do.
- 53:07I don't know, like, yes, it's a silly, like conversation to even
- 53:11be like, whatever. But it does actually matter.
- 53:14It does matter. It does matter, and I think that
- 53:18the protection bit ultimately does, though, go to the whole
- 53:21procreation thing. Like the question is a good
- 53:23question, they're just not going to answer it truthfully, Kody
- 53:27says. My wives get to choose how many
- 53:30children they want to have. No, he goes, my wives, yeah, get
- 53:34to choose how many kids they want.
- 53:36Well, other than Meri. Sorry, Meri.
- 53:39And yeah, Meri is like, except to me.
- 53:41And they all laugh. Everybody laughs.
- 53:45And Meri laughs like a crazy person, like.
- 53:49It's so uncomfortable because they've painted Meri in this
- 53:52light where it's a touchy subject for her and it's hard to
- 53:55talk about, but then they're all laughing out loud about it.
- 54:00And then the most horrendous moment of this entire.
- 54:05Queen Square jaw, Queen Square Jaw's got to talk.
- 54:07And the way she says this too, whatever, I've given her a
- 54:12choice. She can still choose.
- 54:14She can still choose. Like she can still choose.
- 54:19Oh, that was so uncomfortable. So awkward.
- 54:24Oh, she, like, jots her chin out as she's saying it.
- 54:28She just thought she had the best.
- 54:30Everyone's laughing right now, so I have the best comment to
- 54:33make. Yeah.
- 54:35And it was not. Shut up.
- 54:36Wrong moment. This isn't like an opportunity
- 54:39for you to like, yeah, oh, God, she said.
- 54:43It was so cringy. Yeah.
- 54:46She's offering Meri the gift of choice to have another child,
- 54:50Robyn the Saint. It was very pick me girl moment,
- 54:54like, yeah, but I did this wonderful, lovely thing and she
- 54:58still has a choice. You guys don't act like she
- 55:00doesn't. And so then luckily, Kody jumps
- 55:03right in with, well, we're delving too deep into our
- 55:05personal lives, so we need to move on.
- 55:07Yeah, we're delving too deep. In a reality show about your
- 55:09family. But I mean, granted, they are
- 55:12talking about condoms and protection, and I was going to
- 55:15say herpes, but they were not talking about herpes.
- 55:18They were talking about we were talking about Meri's
- 55:20hypothetical child carried by Robyn.
- 55:24My God. Question 9.
- 55:27Veronica. Veronica.
- 55:30How do the wives keep their emotions in check?
- 55:33I would be crazy jealous if someone even thought about
- 55:38sleeping with my husband. Kody hands the tablet to Meri.
- 55:44He literally just is like oh here.
- 55:46Here you go, Mayor. And then they immediately start
- 55:50rolling the footage of Meri's anniversary dinner from Season
- 55:531, where they went to Lacay, this beautiful French
- 55:57restaurant, which appears later. One of the children gets married
- 56:00there and they're sitting at the table and this is where they're
- 56:03having a very comfortable and normal conversation, where Meri
- 56:11poses the question that I love, where she asks him about how if
- 56:16she had another husband like or another man in her life.
- 56:20Yeah, if she was with another guy, what would Kody think?
- 56:23What would he think of that? The vulgarity of the idea,
- 56:30vulgarity, vulgarity of you with another husband or lover sickens
- 56:36me. Sickens me this language is so
- 56:42extreme. Well, dramatic.
- 56:44Let's say dramatic. It's.
- 56:45A very dramatic. It's like you're on a date for
- 56:49your wife's anniversary where she's questioning things because
- 56:52you're bringing in a fourth wife and she brings up this
- 56:56hypothetical and this is just how delulu these people are like
- 57:00that at a fundamental level, she is just posing a question that
- 57:04would be very rational, very reasonable.
- 57:07Now, granted, it does go against their faith they're calling.
- 57:11But my God, the vulgarity of it, of the idea with you, with
- 57:16another husband, with another lover sickens me.
- 57:20Like, OK, so imagine what she must feel like.
- 57:22Imagine what all your wives must feel like like.
- 57:24Yeah, so women are just supposed to be, like, naturally less
- 57:29jealous than men. So it's OK for women to have
- 57:32these feelings cuz they'll get over it, but men never will.
- 57:36God, like, yeah, giving him a lot of passes here.
- 57:40They go back to the Q&A to the couch, and Kody pretends that he
- 57:45has to pee. Yeah, like, he's like pretending
- 57:48like he wants to leave the couch and that he has to pee to get
- 57:51up. And then Meri poses the question
- 57:53to all of the wives again. This is where we get our nice
- 57:58Christine honest answer again. Never before had she ever been
- 58:04jealous until Robyn. Maybe only minorly jealous
- 58:09before Robyn, but never, of course, it's like to the point
- 58:15here where she has to bring up the fact that she had been the
- 58:18third marriage. And so, you know, she was the
- 58:22third wife for so long and there had been no other wife for so
- 58:25long. So I'm like, of course you were
- 58:28jealous when Robyn joined. You'd literally never seen him
- 58:31like on a first date before. Like you joined and these other
- 58:36women were already here. So this is your first time
- 58:40experiencing this new honeymoon thing that he's got going on
- 58:45with another woman and he doesn't have that?
- 58:48Like, you're not the last one that had that with him anymore.
- 58:50So to me, it makes perfect sense that she would be extremely
- 58:53jealous of Robyn. She's literally never dealt with
- 58:56it before. The other women have dealt with
- 58:58it. Meri two times, yeah, and one
- 59:03for Janelle. I as a person would be very
- 59:06jealous. Like This is why I have been in
- 59:10monogamous situations only because if I was with someone
- 59:13and they were like, oh, I'm just going to do whatever in front of
- 59:17you and be like whatever, and I'm courting this person and I'm
- 59:20really interested in them. I think I'm in love with them.
- 59:22I would be like, you're in love with someone else.
- 59:25I wouldn't be able to do that now.
- 59:27We're not talking about like a one night stand.
- 59:28Bring him home from the bar. Like ha ha, ha.
- 59:30Like look at you. You can join us.
- 59:32You can watch. You can whatever.
- 59:33I'm talking about like I'm falling for this person, like
- 59:35you're falling for a fourth person.
- 59:39It's a lot. Oh.
- 59:41My God, I wouldn't be able to deal.
- 59:42I would not be able to deal. No way.
- 59:44To me, I feel like a little bit of jealousy is healthy in a
- 59:49relationship, but this situation, it's like, how do you
- 59:52even gauge that? Because it's so different than a
- 59:55monogamous relationship, right? Like, I don't know the last time
- 1:00:01that I got super jealous of like my husband and I've been
- 1:00:04together over 10 years now and there's been times where I've
- 1:00:08gotten pretty jealous, you know, just being at a bar, seeing like
- 1:00:13an interaction he's having, but. Never to the point where I was
- 1:00:17like jealous thinking something was going to happen and I needed
- 1:00:20to be worried about it. Whereas this is like a totally
- 1:00:23different feeling because you know that something could
- 1:00:26actually come of this jealousy and like someone could actually
- 1:00:31be like coming into the relationship.
- 1:00:33There's more of like a threat there.
- 1:00:36So it's almost like fight or flight probably takes in.
- 1:00:40And like we've spoken about before, she had, she was
- 1:00:45pregnant at the time and had a baby during all of this.
- 1:00:49So she's got extra hormones, extra feelings already.
- 1:00:53Yeah, just a recipe for disaster.
- 1:00:57Kody says I can point out a jealousy or oh, wait, I'd better
- 1:01:02ask for permission. Yeah, He backtracked Christine
- 1:01:04because it was like, yeah, yeah, you know, OK, we'll see how this
- 1:01:09goes. So he leans over and whispers a
- 1:01:11question to Christine in her ear.
- 1:01:13Oh. My gosh.
- 1:01:17And she goes, oh, that wasn't a jealousy.
- 1:01:20That was you being an idiot. Are you kidding me?
- 1:01:23But you was so being an idiot. Oh my God, that's amazing.
- 1:01:27Christine's story with the situation is we go out for my
- 1:01:30birthday date on my birthday and I'm like, we got it.
- 1:01:33Your birthday date on your birthday like such a.
- 1:01:35Your time with him. Natural Storyteller.
- 1:01:39We're at the store and Kody picks out his CD and I think,
- 1:01:42oh, isn't that sweet? He remembered.
- 1:01:46But then they get in the car and Christine asks him to play the
- 1:01:49CD and he says oh it's for Meri. And then she yells idiot at the
- 1:01:55end of her story. And Christine looks shocked and
- 1:01:59everyone's laughing. Yeah.
- 1:02:01So I think that they went, it sounds like they went to a music
- 1:02:04store, like they went to an actual like Sam Goody or
- 1:02:07something. Like, do you remember an actual
- 1:02:09music store where you listened to the headphones?
- 1:02:12You could listen to like one or two tracks from the CD before
- 1:02:15you bought it. So I imagine they're having this
- 1:02:17like, cute date and like listening to music together and
- 1:02:20he picks out this CD and maybe they'd had a moment or a dance
- 1:02:25somewhere. Had a moment at least, yeah.
- 1:02:29And I'm thinking, what if she thinks that she has this, like,
- 1:02:33a special song with him, and she's realizing for the first
- 1:02:36time that, like, he might have this song with all of us?
- 1:02:43Like, this might not be special to me.
- 1:02:45Yeah, this might be and this, that's not jealousy in the sense
- 1:02:50that like you're jealous that he bought her the CD, but you're
- 1:02:55still jealous that he's having these moments and that he has
- 1:02:59this memory and thought of her when it comes to that song or
- 1:03:03CD. So.
- 1:03:05Yeah, yeah, well, it's just classic Kody to be on a date
- 1:03:09with your wife on her birthday and you're buying a CD for
- 1:03:13another wife. Like dumb.
- 1:03:15Just don't be such an idiot. Like this is not, I don't know.
- 1:03:19It wouldn't it just be like kind of like polygamy 101.
- 1:03:21Don't buy a gift for wife #1 when you're on wife #3's
- 1:03:25birthday date with her. It's just weird.
- 1:03:27It's really stupid, like it's a rookie dumb mistake.
- 1:03:31And just besides the fact that it's a bad thing to do, like he
- 1:03:35could have, they could have been at a trinket store and he could
- 1:03:38have bought, you know, gummy bears or something for her, for
- 1:03:42Meri. And it still would be like, why
- 1:03:44would you buy her something on my birthday date?
- 1:03:47But it's worse that it's something where she thought, oh,
- 1:03:50this is so sweet. He remembered this thing and
- 1:03:54then you're completely wrong and so off the mark.
- 1:03:58There's something very hurtful about that.
- 1:04:00And then they were all laughing about it.
- 1:04:02And granted, like, who knows how long ago this happened.
- 1:04:04Like it's probably funny to them now, but that would be.
- 1:04:08Pretty hurtful. I would be down voting that for
- 1:04:12sure. Let me call you sweetheart.
- 1:04:16I'm in love with me. OK?
- 1:04:23Question 10 comes to us from Jackie.
- 1:04:26Ristine reads this and she makes it very clear that this question
- 1:04:30is from Jackie, not from her. It is from.
- 1:04:32Jackie, Jackie. Jackie.
- 1:04:37Will there be another wife down the road?
- 1:04:40How do you share enough time with the ones you have now?
- 1:04:43I didn't like how this person worded this, she said.
- 1:04:47Will there be another wife down the road of life?
- 1:04:51Oh God, I. Know she said that that's how
- 1:04:54the questions. Were there.
- 1:04:56And I was like Jackie. Jackie.
- 1:04:59No. Jackie, Terrible.
- 1:05:04God, Kody says. This question gets asked to him
- 1:05:06a lot. The answer is no.
- 1:05:10Every single week a wife says to me, I miss you and I'm lonely.
- 1:05:15Oh, but no one's ever going to be lonely in their family
- 1:05:18member. No one's ever going to be
- 1:05:19lonely. Just earlier in the Q&A.
- 1:05:22Nope, Nope, Nope. No one's ever lonely in my
- 1:05:25family. Not in our polygamous brood.
- 1:05:27Then they do the flashbacks and they show Meri in bed with her
- 1:05:33knee injury and it's like all the way up by her ear on all
- 1:05:37those pillows. Yes.
- 1:05:40And Kody's kissing her, saying goodbye.
- 1:05:44Goodbye and Meri was just the first of a collage of him
- 1:05:47kissing each wife goodbye, which was so touching and so moving.
- 1:05:51Meri was definitely the most touching because she looked like
- 1:05:54a freak. Oh God. 3rd knee injury.
- 1:05:58Her knee injury. Of course they had to get that
- 1:06:01in there and throw the kiss goodbye with the injury.
- 1:06:05And then they show the like shot from beyond the foot, looking up
- 1:06:09at her face and it's like, Oh my God, they just, they didn't give
- 1:06:12her any. Favors to her.
- 1:06:14They didn't give her any favors with that.
- 1:06:17Kody's life has spread so thin it's almost a complete no when
- 1:06:21it comes to another wife. Not necessarily 100% no, but
- 1:06:25it's almost a complete no because he's open for
- 1:06:30inspiration. I mean, Robyn would have never
- 1:06:32been in their family had he not been open to another wife.
- 1:06:35Yeah, that's kind of a cop out answer of, oh, if some hot young
- 1:06:40thing comes along that would be willing and yeah, sure, maybe.
- 1:06:45But inspiration would have to strike me like a lightning like
- 1:06:49lightning, like my eye contact with Robyn at the dance.
- 1:06:52Yes, that she would need to have crazier eyebrows and a squarer
- 1:06:56job and I would be all about her.
- 1:06:59I think the thing that really bothers me about his answer here
- 1:07:03where he says every week one of my wives says that she misses me
- 1:07:07and is lonely. What about your kids?
- 1:07:10Like, I think about the kids more in this and like the loss
- 1:07:14in their life of having a father figure that's around all of the
- 1:07:17time. Yeah.
- 1:07:19Like to me that's sad. And like this show, yes, it's
- 1:07:22called Sister Wives. It's about the wives more but
- 1:07:25the lack of thought for the children sometimes is just so
- 1:07:31disgusting to me. Like why not?
- 1:07:34Why wouldn't your answer there be?
- 1:07:35Like I don't think it would be fair to my kids because my
- 1:07:39wife's divided between my current wives and my kids
- 1:07:43already and they need their dad around and it would separate us
- 1:07:47more. Like calm the fuck on like.
- 1:07:52I don't think his kids are that top of mind for him, you know?
- 1:07:55They're not. And it's things like this that
- 1:07:58just are like spitting in the face of fatherhood to me because
- 1:08:03he claims that he's, you know, father of the year or like tries
- 1:08:07to be there for all of his kids. And it's like, no, you're not.
- 1:08:12And it's very apparent spitting in the face of fatherhood.
- 1:08:15I don't know where that. Fucking came from, I don't know.
- 1:08:17I mean, it's very true. It's very true.
- 1:08:19I mean, the kids don't come up in this special really all that
- 1:08:22much in this Q&A special until later.
- 1:08:26But it is true that bringing another wife in and having
- 1:08:30another family pod or whatever the hell they're calling them
- 1:08:34would just mean less time with his kids that he already doesn't
- 1:08:36spend enough time with. Like we know this.
- 1:08:38Yeah, these family units, it's like units, OK, Yeah, like we
- 1:08:43can just put them on a shelf in their little unit when I'm not
- 1:08:46there for my 4th every 4th day. And they do show when he's
- 1:08:52kissing goodbye, like Christine's little blurb.
- 1:08:55I think she's holding truly in it.
- 1:08:58And I kind of had like, a little bit of a heartbreak moment there
- 1:09:01because I have kids and it would be so hard if my husband even
- 1:09:07was, let's say, a traveling salesman for Meri Kay.
- 1:09:10Yeah, you know, working on that. Copper convertible.
- 1:09:13Pink copper convertible and he had to travel for his Meri Kay
- 1:09:16job. I would be sad.
- 1:09:19I would be lonely, OK, Like, yeah, my kids would be sad.
- 1:09:24I would be nuts. My kids would be nuts.
- 1:09:27I I don't get it. God.
- 1:09:30It's hard for me to think about. I'll say I got a little like, I
- 1:09:35don't even want to go like choked up.
- 1:09:36I wasn't choked up, but I got a little angry, sad when I saw her
- 1:09:41holding her baby truly. And he's saying goodbye to her.
- 1:09:46It's selfish. It's.
- 1:09:47Just so. Selfish.
- 1:09:48Yeah, Yeah. All the wives joke about how he
- 1:09:52better not be looking. He better not be looking.
- 1:09:55And Meri says it's not about the numbers.
- 1:09:57It's not like that. OK, Mayor, we all know.
- 1:10:02We all know. Did you clock that?
- 1:10:04Kody said. That people now on the street,
- 1:10:07like people that recognize them from the show, like people have
- 1:10:10offered to be the fifth wife. Yes.
- 1:10:13You. I don't know who these people
- 1:10:15are. Desperate, saggy singles.
- 1:10:17Desperate, saggy singles. I mean, who literally?
- 1:10:22I would say it other than like, a joke because, like, you know,
- 1:10:25it'd be a funny joke. I don't know if it'd be.
- 1:10:27It'd be a joke. Let's not say funny.
- 1:10:29Yeah. I mean, even if I met Kody
- 1:10:31Brown, I'd probably be like, so are you done with the wives?
- 1:10:33You ready to try a husband? Like, it would be a joke.
- 1:10:36It would not be a serious thing. I feel like there are people
- 1:10:43that watch the show that are delusional enough that would
- 1:10:48think that if they ran into him that they could be his fifth
- 1:10:52wife. Like maybe legit drop a
- 1:10:54proposition or a wink or a nod. Yeah, there's a lot of fucking
- 1:10:58weirdos in this world. Good.
- 1:10:59Lord, also the TV aspect of it, like we have this inkling
- 1:11:04perhaps that Robyn jumped on the bandwagon here because of the TV
- 1:11:08show, right? And there are a lot of people
- 1:11:12that would see that as an opportunity that.
- 1:11:15Would love to be on a terrible TLC show.
- 1:11:18Yeah, so that we could talk about them on this podcast.
- 1:11:20Great. Now Robyn reads question #11
- 1:11:23from Tracy. Reed is putting it loosely.
- 1:11:27Oh. Robyn stumbles through.
- 1:11:28Robyn sounds her way through a question from Tracy.
- 1:11:32She. Liked the the pony?
- 1:11:35Oh. Gosh, she.
- 1:11:36Licked the pony like the pony. Like the pony?
- 1:11:41Can you read it as Robyn? I don't know, can you?
- 1:11:44Oh God, let's see if anything happened to Kody.
- 1:11:50Would the Sister Wives stay together?
- 1:11:52Oh God. Tracy says if anything ever
- 1:11:58happened to Kody, would the sister wives stay together and
- 1:12:02share their lives and camaraderie?
- 1:12:09There's awful lives and camaraderie.
- 1:12:12Camaraderie, camaraderie. And I literally wrote down.
- 1:12:19I'm surprised Robyn can even read this.
- 1:12:21It was a struggle. It was, it was tough.
- 1:12:24It was tough. But it was her contacts and the
- 1:12:26fact that she was reading from a tablet.
- 1:12:28It wasn't that she's illiterate at all, Christopher.
- 1:12:31See, you're always giving Robyn the benefit of the doubt.
- 1:12:34I'm just so much on her side so. OK, Yeah.
- 1:12:40Christine says that absolutely. I wanted Sisterwise to help me
- 1:12:45raise my kids. I wanted this lifestyle.
- 1:12:48Like she goes into her whole spiel about how much she wanted
- 1:12:53the sister wives. Janelle says we've seen it go
- 1:12:55both ways with other families, which makes sense.
- 1:12:58You know, I'm sure sometimes sister wives stick together.
- 1:13:00Other times they move on with their lives, you know?
- 1:13:02Yeah, Kody kind of alludes to yeah, some stick together, some
- 1:13:06don't, blah, blah, blah. They kind of all say that if
- 1:13:11they did stay together, yeah, it'd be for the kids.
- 1:13:13Yeah, Kody. Kody.
- 1:13:16Oh gosh. If I die, it's a complete game
- 1:13:21change. Oh my God, Kody.
- 1:13:25I mean, oh, Kody. And Kody is getting like
- 1:13:28emotional ish. Oh is he ish because Robyn says
- 1:13:32oh I can tell this is making you sad to Kody but was he even
- 1:13:36getting emotional or was he pretending to be like I don't
- 1:13:39really want to talk about this. Maybe he yeah, but Robyn has to
- 1:13:43be the one to point out like, oh, this is mainly making Kody
- 1:13:45emotional. This is making Kody sad.
- 1:13:48But Christine is actually kind of red eyed and teary eyed.
- 1:13:53Oh OK, I miss. That.
- 1:13:57Well, I mean, you know, and it is a subject that the family has
- 1:14:00dealt with in not necessarily the husband dying, but like
- 1:14:04Meri's sister died. Meri's sister, yes, and her
- 1:14:07kids. Yeah, we're taking, I was going
- 1:14:10to say taking over this sister, wife took care of the kids
- 1:14:14afterwards. So, you know, there's some
- 1:14:16things with that, with their history, I mean.
- 1:14:18No one wants to think of their spouse dying.
- 1:14:20OK? Like, let's be real here.
- 1:14:22Like even though they have an unconventional family, they
- 1:14:25don't want to think about any of them dying.
- 1:14:28Like they obviously still are in this relationship and love him.
- 1:14:32So yeah, I would be. I Oh, God.
- 1:14:36Yeah. Like I've thought about that in
- 1:14:38my life. I think I've said to you, well,
- 1:14:40we would just you would have to step up, you know?
- 1:14:45Lavender Marriage. Yes, Lavender marriage, Daddy
- 1:14:48Christopher helping out. Oh.
- 1:14:49God, Oh God. Oh God.
- 1:14:51Thank you. Exit stage.
- 1:14:54Won't somebody please think of their children?
- 1:14:57Think of the children. Yeah, I wouldn't even want to
- 1:15:01think of that. Financially.
- 1:15:03It would be brutal. Well, you know what?
- 1:15:06I'd have to go back to turning tricks on the street.
- 1:15:08Yeah, I mean, they were working at some Bunny ranch somewhere in
- 1:15:13Vegas. All of these wives would have to
- 1:15:15to support everyone. Robyn would have to go.
- 1:15:18For they could all come back to us.
- 1:15:19Yes, they don't commute. Oh boy, rideshare ride.
- 1:15:24Share Yeah, well, she probably couldn't even do that.
- 1:15:27OK, Whose car was so banged up last episode?
- 1:15:30Yeah, Robyn's minivan. Yeah.
- 1:15:32That was either. Yeah, Robyn.
- 1:15:33Robyn or Christine's minivan? Boy.
- 1:15:37A rollover on the way to the Bunny Ranch.
- 1:15:39OK, All right. The next question, question 12,
- 1:15:43was read by Janelle. We get some Queen Janelle moment
- 1:15:46here. This is so good, So good from
- 1:15:49Sarah. This question came from Sarah.
- 1:15:50Honey, do you want to read Sarah's question for our
- 1:15:52listeners? Sarah asks How would you react
- 1:15:57if one of your children came out to you and what does Janelle
- 1:16:01say? I'm assuming this means come out
- 1:16:03as a homosexual. She says it very like sweet and
- 1:16:07demurely. I'm assuming this means come out
- 1:16:10as a homosexual. And you know, I've thought about
- 1:16:16this with how many kids we have, at least one or two will be.
- 1:16:22And I've, I've thought about this and I don't think it would
- 1:16:27disrupt my world in any way. So I quote.
- 1:16:32I choked while laughing. You literally did like a spit
- 1:16:37take. Yeah, it was not.
- 1:16:38It was, it was rough. I felt the pressure in my head.
- 1:16:41I saw Jesus for a minute and then Jesus faded away when she
- 1:16:45said and I'm assuming this means come out as a homosexual.
- 1:16:50Homosexual. I don't know what it was about
- 1:16:54the way she said it. I think it's.
- 1:16:56I think it's the word homosexual.
- 1:16:59Yeah, it was. She was being a little too
- 1:17:01technical with the terminology. And homosexual.
- 1:17:04Yeah. Her makeup, the closeness of her
- 1:17:08face, the fact that this was 12 years ago, however long.
- 1:17:12The softness and seriousness of her voice.
- 1:17:14Yeah, it was. Something was just so funny to
- 1:17:18me that I could barely get my composure, like I was out of it.
- 1:17:23I think what was so funny is that they showed it in a preview
- 1:17:26before this question. Before the commercial break.
- 1:17:29And so like they showed this in the commercial break, so you
- 1:17:33knew it was like coming again and it was like.
- 1:17:37I was not prepared. I was not prepared to hear
- 1:17:39Janelle talking about the homosexuals.
- 1:17:42Christine. Oh my God, Christine.
- 1:17:44Yeah, she said. I was asked by one of my girls,
- 1:17:47what would you think if I brought home a girlfriend?
- 1:17:50And Kody says they like to challenge us Like, oh, please.
- 1:17:52They like to challenge us, these difficult life questions.
- 1:17:57So such a challenge, Such a challenge, Christine says.
- 1:18:02You couldn't have her play in your room, like how right now
- 1:18:04you can't have boys play in your room.
- 1:18:06So it seems like it'd be kind of a tough path for you.
- 1:18:09And it's like, tough. Path.
- 1:18:12Exactly God. I just really with the tough
- 1:18:18path thing, it's almost making it seem like, well, this is a
- 1:18:21choice. Oh yeah.
- 1:18:23So you're walking down this path, you're taking this road.
- 1:18:26It's going to be a rough one. Yes, the overlay of parents and
- 1:18:32people being homophobic that starts somewhere and then gets
- 1:18:39bigger or starts big and gets smaller.
- 1:18:43This whole thing is kind of gross.
- 1:18:46It's cringy. And if it was a committed
- 1:18:49relationship, Christine would want them to come by so she
- 1:18:52could judge them just like she would judge a boy.
- 1:18:54Like, yeah. OK.
- 1:18:56So OK. Not, not hateful, not terrible.
- 1:19:00OK. We're, we're trying to make it
- 1:19:01not seem like the homosexuals are zoo animals or, you know,
- 1:19:06like, whatever. Like I would treat, I would
- 1:19:08treat my daughter who asked this question just like anybody else.
- 1:19:12Yeah, you'd better bring them home to meet me if it was
- 1:19:15committed. And if they were bad for you.
- 1:19:17And if I thought they were bad for you, I would put up just as
- 1:19:20much of a fight about it as I would if it was a boy.
- 1:19:25Like sure, probably be way worse.
- 1:19:28Oh God, and then we get precious pearls from Robyn, the dumbest
- 1:19:33girl on this show, and that's saying something, Robyn said.
- 1:19:37I would be sad if a child realized they were a homosexual
- 1:19:40because that's a hard life. Once again, the slide into or
- 1:19:46out of being homophobic in your response, in the way that you're
- 1:19:51doing it. Do you not realize that a
- 1:19:54person's life would be a hard life because of what people like
- 1:19:58you and others are putting upon them?
- 1:20:01A gay person does not have a hard life intrinsically.
- 1:20:05They might have a more challenging life because of the
- 1:20:08heteronormative bullshit surrounding them and their
- 1:20:10family being like, we're going to accept you even though you're
- 1:20:14different and you might choose that path and I'm going to treat
- 1:20:16you just like the others. Like even that is not really.
- 1:20:21It's other ring and it's not good and it's fucks with
- 1:20:23people's psyches. Yeah, I just, I can't be an
- 1:20:26apologist for people that oh, it was a different time.
- 1:20:29Oh, these people are doing their best.
- 1:20:31What the fuck? Don't talk to your children like
- 1:20:34their problems if they're questioning their sexual
- 1:20:36orientation. It's ridiculous.
- 1:20:38The way that she like goes about this too, she's trying to use
- 1:20:43big words. Like, she uses the word
- 1:20:44homosexual, obviously, because Janelle just used it.
- 1:20:48Yeah. And so she uses it and kind of
- 1:20:50like, stops before saying it. And then she says, too.
- 1:20:54Like, they would face so many prejudices.
- 1:20:57Yeah. Prejudices.
- 1:21:00And challenges. Yeah.
- 1:21:04It's not an easy life, says Robyn.
- 1:21:06Which is one of the biggest challenges is that their family
- 1:21:09loves them and accepts them. Yeah, what was that quote that
- 1:21:14she said? It's not an easy life and I
- 1:21:18think one of the biggest challenges is if the family
- 1:21:23loves them and accepts them. Yes.
- 1:21:27I had to make you a rewind that part and I had to listen to that
- 1:21:30again because you are basically coming out and completely saying
- 1:21:36they're like, well this is going to be hard for them because not
- 1:21:40sure if we would love and accept them.
- 1:21:42Right, which I don't even think is her POVI think it's like
- 1:21:47this. We do later find out that Robyn
- 1:21:51has many gay friends, is actually very supportive of her
- 1:21:55queer children by her biological children or by her sister wives
- 1:22:00in in in her ways. So I, I think this is an odd
- 1:22:05answer from her because it does kind of come across like she's
- 1:22:09being like, well, would we choose to accept you or not?
- 1:22:12I still just as a queer person, am so fucking annoyed with the
- 1:22:15notion of like, well, if we, we're going to tee it up like
- 1:22:18this, like, are they going to be accepted or not?
- 1:22:20And it's like you're the one that would accept them or not.
- 1:22:23Like it's not their problem, It's not their thing, it's your
- 1:22:26thing. Yeah, you're literally saying
- 1:22:28that, and you'd be scaring your kids into hiding it from you.
- 1:22:33Like you wouldn't be a safe space for your kids.
- 1:22:37Most gay people that I know they didn't, they're not feeling safe
- 1:22:40with their own sexual orientation or their ability to
- 1:22:43share anything about that comes from their parents and their
- 1:22:46family. Like and their parents can be
- 1:22:49pretty open minded and pretty cool, but there's these subtle
- 1:22:52things that just like don't happen when you're straight.
- 1:22:57If you're straight identifying, straight looking, straight
- 1:23:00acting, straight talking, whatever, people don't have
- 1:23:03these conversations with you. It's not like that.
- 1:23:05You're not other than this way, but if you're gay you still get
- 1:23:09all the same reprimanding and conversations that the straight
- 1:23:11people get. Then you also get plus some.
- 1:23:14Well you know, we'll see if we can accept you.
- 1:23:17We'll see. It's hard because sometimes
- 1:23:18people don't accept you. Fuck off.
- 1:23:22Like, yeah, just saying to your child, well, this is going to be
- 1:23:24a harder road for you. You're going to face harder,
- 1:23:27blah, blah, blah. It's like.
- 1:23:29Why is that? It's not because they're making
- 1:23:32the choices. It's because other people are
- 1:23:33making choices and probably going to be mean to them.
- 1:23:36So whatever. Yeah, I can't talk about this
- 1:23:39anymore. Kody wraps up the question
- 1:23:43though with we've determined that we will accept our children
- 1:23:45no matter what the relationship or lifestyle is totally.
- 1:23:50Contradicting what Robyn just said there, even.
- 1:23:53I don't know. Yeah, her stance could be
- 1:23:55totally different now. It could have been totally
- 1:23:57different at the time, but what she said was fucking dumb.
- 1:24:00And it made it seem like they wouldn't accept them.
- 1:24:02And then literally in the next breath, Kody's like, no, we
- 1:24:05would. Yeah, and we're going.
- 1:24:08To call our children that might be queer that they have a
- 1:24:10lifestyle, which is funny because straight people have
- 1:24:12lives and queer people have lifestyles.
- 1:24:15Again, it's saying that it's a choice, it's a lifestyle that's
- 1:24:18like a choice. It's a lot heavier of other ring
- 1:24:22and separation than parents recognize when they talk to
- 1:24:24their children. Like, Oh well, we would accept
- 1:24:27you if you had that lifestyle. Excuse me?
- 1:24:30It's not like I'm going to go be a nudist down in Florida.
- 1:24:33Mom this. Is going to be a nudist like I
- 1:24:36mean, that's actually. Lifestyle, yes.
- 1:24:39My God, it's just. It's the alluding to the fact
- 1:24:43that it's a choice. By saying they go down this
- 1:24:45path, they take this journey, this lifestyle, like those three
- 1:24:49sayings, people say them as very frequently.
- 1:24:53And I think a lot of parents say that to like their queer
- 1:24:56children very frequently. And it's alluding to the fact
- 1:24:59that it's a choice. Whether or not you believe it,
- 1:25:02it's just the honesty of the situation.
- 1:25:05Like those words that you're saying allude to the fact that
- 1:25:08you think it's a choice, but. Whatever.
- 1:25:09And then also like a power thing, like we have the choice
- 1:25:11to approve of you or not. Yeah.
- 1:25:13And we are generously giving our own child approval.
- 1:25:18Our own child acceptance. It's so gross and I know there's
- 1:25:23subtlety in nuance and whatever, but it's when you're a faggot
- 1:25:26over 40 it's like fuck you. Like I need to bequeath you my
- 1:25:29acceptance as your parent. No, you should be accepting and
- 1:25:33loving. Your child, no matter what.
- 1:25:34Yeah, unconditional love for your child.
- 1:25:36Like, fuck off, right? But that's not what this episode
- 1:25:39is about, luckily. Janelle.
- 1:25:41What did Janelle say at the beginning of it?
- 1:25:44And I'm assuming this means come out as a homosexual.
- 1:25:48A. Homosexual Queen Janelle.
- 1:25:50So good. Now we have a commercial break
- 1:25:53and then we come back to a question from Rose for Robyn.
- 1:25:57Specifically for Robyn now. Rose ponders, because of your
- 1:26:02previous marriage ending in a divorce, how do you feel about
- 1:26:06divorce in general? God, now we have to hear more
- 1:26:11from Robyn. So deep.
- 1:26:13This just cuts her so deep it. Cuts her, cuts her jock.
- 1:26:21Black heart of hearts. Yeah, but Robyn says that
- 1:26:24Despite that, I think the five of us should be together and we
- 1:26:28should be a family. I did everything I could to keep
- 1:26:32my marriage together. I tried really hard to stay in
- 1:26:35it. She's like putting her chin up
- 1:26:38in the air and her nose up in the air and blinking her eyes
- 1:26:42that don't have tears in them, trying to pretend like she's
- 1:26:46trying to keep tears from falling and.
- 1:26:50She's she's trying to get emotional, but the tears ain't
- 1:26:53coming. The tears ain't coming.
- 1:26:55She's falling short. I don't think divorce is very
- 1:26:59easy for kids. That's like quote.
- 1:27:02Perhaps the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life.
- 1:27:06I don't actually think divorce is easy for the kids.
- 1:27:09Who thinks divorce is easy for the kids?
- 1:27:13She's such an idiot. She's so dumb.
- 1:27:15And then she says I was a child. And she, she rolls her eyes up
- 1:27:20and she whispers, shoot, she does.
- 1:27:24She's like I was a child. Sabin, Robyn.
- 1:27:28Shoot of divorce myself. I tried really hard to put it
- 1:27:35off. I tried to fix my previous
- 1:27:38marriage. I tried really really really
- 1:27:42hard. Really hard.
- 1:27:45Hard, really, really hard. She says that she does not take
- 1:27:49marriage lightly and that if she had, she wouldn't have stayed in
- 1:27:52her previous marriage for so long.
- 1:27:55And this is where I had to look this up.
- 1:27:59And her marriage was eight years.
- 1:28:01Eight years, yes. Now we don't know.
- 1:28:05I did not see if that said including the courting before
- 1:28:10the eight-year marriage. Well, based on Becoming Sister
- 1:28:13Wives, the Tell All book #1 New York Times bestseller, she said
- 1:28:18that she was married for seven years and that they were
- 1:28:21together for what would end up being 10 total.
- 1:28:25Like they were together for a while, they were married, and
- 1:28:30for some reason it's basically just shy of a decade that she
- 1:28:32spent with him. Interesting.
- 1:28:35So I don't know where I mean, I don't think it really matters if
- 1:28:37it was 7 or 8 years literally, but they basically spent a
- 1:28:41decade together. Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:28:43When you think about the ages when it comes to some of this
- 1:28:45stuff, it's just like some of these people are like stunted at
- 1:28:50a certain age almost because they made a commitment too early
- 1:28:55in their life and they didn't even know who the fuck they were
- 1:28:57yet. And who were they at 21,
- 1:28:59particularly if they were raised in these polygamous families
- 1:29:03where, you know, their exposure to the outside world might not
- 1:29:06have been a lot. I do believe Robyn went to
- 1:29:09public school. She she had like a somewhat
- 1:29:11normal ish life. But yeah, like there's all of
- 1:29:15them seem to have like a place where they stopped developing.
- 1:29:18Right. Well, and if you're told that
- 1:29:19you have to get married to have sex, yeah, you're going to get
- 1:29:23married young because you're horny.
- 1:29:25Yeah. And you want to fuck?
- 1:29:28I'm horny. I'm horny, so you're going to
- 1:29:31get married young and you're going to have sex.
- 1:29:35Then you're going to be excited about it.
- 1:29:37So hopefully well, OK, that's. All I not Christine, but
- 1:29:41everyone else. Yeah.
- 1:29:42Oh, God. Well, you're going to get
- 1:29:45married young because you have to be married in these religions
- 1:29:49to have sex, supposedly. So a lot of people get married
- 1:29:52very young so that they can have sex doesn't mean that they even
- 1:29:55want to be married. They're not ready for marriage.
- 1:29:58They're just wanting to get so Dick.
- 1:30:01What? Freaky Kody wraps up this
- 1:30:04segment by saying My dad always told me a woman has the right to
- 1:30:08get divorced if she's not being treated well and is unhappy.
- 1:30:12I believe people should be happy.
- 1:30:15If it's not possible in one marriage, they should get out
- 1:30:18and find happiness in another. Not terrible.
- 1:30:23My main criticism is like, well they don't need to find
- 1:30:26happiness in another relationship necessarily.
- 1:30:28Like I love how y'all's thing is that you have to be married.
- 1:30:31Woman has to be married. Like, yeah, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:30:33that's not true. But you know, I mean, he's
- 1:30:37trying to be a nice guy here, I guess.
- 1:30:40You know, I don't. I don't really know.
- 1:30:42Yeah, but my dad taught me that a woman has a right to divorce a
- 1:30:46man. It's similar to the whole like
- 1:30:49the the gay thing, like the way you're talking about it.
- 1:30:51Like of course a woman has a right to get divorced.
- 1:30:53Like it's not a gift to give a woman, oh, you have the right to
- 1:30:56get divorced. No, she should be able to get
- 1:30:58fucking divorced. Yeah, it's just the language
- 1:31:02behind it. It's like he's trying to be
- 1:31:04progressive but he's making himself also look bad because of
- 1:31:10the wording and like it's ick factor.
- 1:31:15Yeah. What a blessing that Kody's so
- 1:31:17woke, right? Which is totally not true.
- 1:31:20He's like, don't tread on me like whatever.
- 1:31:22Yeah, we've come to the last question of this Q&A special
- 1:31:29from Natalie. I wish it was from Natalie
- 1:31:32Morales because she was the reporter that would RIP Kody a
- 1:31:35new one. But instead it's just from
- 1:31:37Natalie. No idea who Natalie is.
- 1:31:40And she asks, what are your future hopes for the kids and
- 1:31:43the adults? I don't really like this
- 1:31:46question, but I guess it's the one you'd wrap up with.
- 1:31:49It's boring. Yeah, it's boring.
- 1:31:52The answers are boring, but whatever.
- 1:31:54Janelle says she has a vision of all the kids, college educated
- 1:31:58and bringing their children, of course the parents,
- 1:32:00grandchildren home for the holidays.
- 1:32:04You know, got to love that. Kody has to bring up four houses
- 1:32:08right next to each other. Yeah, Kody says.
- 1:32:10The four houses right next to each other.
- 1:32:12As if we haven't heard that 100,000 times since the very
- 1:32:15first season, yeah. Janelle says.
- 1:32:18You know, see that fits for my Christmas vision.
- 1:32:20All the grandchildren coming home and all of the kids coming
- 1:32:24home with their college education.
- 1:32:26So she is all about this college education.
- 1:32:29I'm not mad about it. Janelle wants her kids to go to
- 1:32:31school. She went to school.
- 1:32:33A returning adult. A returning adult.
- 1:32:35A returning adult. Yes, I was.
- 1:32:37One of. Those and I was too.
- 1:32:38And I think that she might also in the culture that she comes
- 1:32:43from, see uneducated people and feel bad for them.
- 1:32:48And also it aligns with her ambitions towards being like a
- 1:32:53self-sufficient woman. Like she wants to be a success
- 1:32:55even if in her own mind, like she's doing something for
- 1:32:57herself. She wants to be educated.
- 1:32:59She would hope her children would be educated.
- 1:33:01She probably feels like they could be trapped or like,
- 1:33:05unhappy if they don't have like the ability to be
- 1:33:10self-sufficient because she's probably felt helpless or seen
- 1:33:15many women get, you know, stuck in a relationship and they don't
- 1:33:20have financial independence and they can't get out of a harmful
- 1:33:25situation, especially in this religion, like the monetary,
- 1:33:32like the abuse of power with money is very real and it can
- 1:33:37keep women trapped in horrendous situations.
- 1:33:41So I would think that based on her experience in this religion
- 1:33:46specifically, she would want the girls to be educated.
- 1:33:50Christine says that she sees Christmas lights on the houses.
- 1:33:53Oh, Christine and her Christmas lights and her Disney World.
- 1:33:58She's just that's where she sees herself in the future is
- 1:34:02Christmas lights. To wrap up their answers, Kody
- 1:34:06says We want them to be educated and to marry, right.
- 1:34:10The rest is up to them. And it's like this totally goes
- 1:34:13along with their whole thing. Like, okay, I mean, educated.
- 1:34:15Sure, Meri. Right.
- 1:34:17Like, okay, like, all right, So what is right?
- 1:34:20You're gonna decide what's right.
- 1:34:22Like, okay, whatever, blah blah blah.
- 1:34:24So they have to get married? Yeah, in your hopes and dreams
- 1:34:29for them. Yeah, and they better marry
- 1:34:31right, because it's the most important decision you'll make
- 1:34:33in your life. Now, to be fair, for some people
- 1:34:36it will be. Then we get the beautiful
- 1:34:38flashback to one of our favorite scenes ever.
- 1:34:42Ever. With the children running down
- 1:34:46the street where their potential four homes will be right next to
- 1:34:50each other with their white snowflake kites.
- 1:34:54The magic, The magic of it all, the.
- 1:34:57Potential magic. We haven't signed up.
- 1:34:59We haven't signed the dotted line.
- 1:35:01Yeah. But we have teased the children
- 1:35:04with this is where we might live.
- 1:35:06Yep. We've gotten their hopes and
- 1:35:07dreams up. And once again, not mad about
- 1:35:10the snowflake kites. They're kind of cute, but you
- 1:35:13know, whatever. Yeah, this was kind of just
- 1:35:17like, OK, let's end it like this.
- 1:35:18Yeah, this whole episode was a little.
- 1:35:23I'm not such a fan of these Q&A things.
- 1:35:24I don't really know. Yeah, they let him get off with
- 1:35:27like some of these questions that were super easy and just
- 1:35:30like hokey. And then they gave him some like
- 1:35:33weird curveballs. But then they didn't have to
- 1:35:36really give good answers to those curveballs.
- 1:35:39It was like there was no pressure because they were just
- 1:35:42passing around an iPad. So it was pretty unhuntful.
- 1:35:45It was like half when sitcoms used to do clip shows, right?
- 1:35:49So it was like they barely had to write.
- 1:35:50Like the script was like connecting the dots from the
- 1:35:53flashbacks. Like that's what this show felt
- 1:35:55like. It was like we're going to use
- 1:35:57old footage and have them answer some questions.
- 1:36:00And I don't know, we'll see in the future, maybe they'll be the
- 1:36:06most abridged episodes ever. It'll just be like they were
- 1:36:08asked some questions and they answered them.
- 1:36:10The end. Let me call you sweetheart.
- 1:36:16It's very, very boring and kind of just, again, why would it be
- 1:36:21the 4th episode in the season? That doesn't make sense, and it
- 1:36:24totally feeds into the whole theory.
- 1:36:26Why? Why God?
- 1:36:27Why? Why do you?
- 1:36:29Do this to us. Why, God?
- 1:36:31Why? Why do you give us this morbid
- 1:36:33fascination with this disgusting family?
- 1:36:36This. Terrible, terrible family.
- 1:36:38Now, now, now, now, now, now. I should say it like that.
- 1:36:42Robyn. Terrible, terrible Robyn.
- 1:36:45And the rest of these people. Now darling, who is your mustard
- 1:36:50seed for this episode? Who would you like to plant in
- 1:36:53the ground and let them grow into a tree to make the world a
- 1:36:56better place? I feel like Christine is going
- 1:37:01to get my mustard seed for this because she had some very honest
- 1:37:06answers and she piped up and kind of just, yeah, said the
- 1:37:13truth for a few things. You know she told the story
- 1:37:15where Kody was a shit and got ACD for another wife on her
- 1:37:20birthday and then you know she talked about jealousy and you
- 1:37:26know, wanting to potentially be the sole wife and daydreaming
- 1:37:30about it which the other wives blatantly lied about.
- 1:37:34Blatantly lied. So yeah, I think my mustard seed
- 1:37:37is going to Christine. Excellent choice.
- 1:37:40Christine definitely deserves that.
- 1:37:42By default I have to give my mustard seed to Janelle, who
- 1:37:47doesn't really deserve it, but no one else deserves it, so it's
- 1:37:52going to Janelle and I don't even have anything to back that
- 1:37:55up now. Shit stain.
- 1:37:56For the way she said homosexual. For the way she said.
- 1:38:00Homosexual. I mean, we almost were like
- 1:38:03cackling on the couch for a bit. So at least she gave us a good
- 1:38:05laugh. She did.
- 1:38:06That's. Why she gets that I did choke on
- 1:38:08my beverage. So shit stain darling, who was
- 1:38:10your shit stain? My shit stain is going to go to
- 1:38:14none other than Robyn. And it is for something that she
- 1:38:21said earlier on in the questions where she just felt the need to
- 1:38:26throw it out there again, that Meri has a choice now about
- 1:38:30having another baby because of her, because of her wonderful
- 1:38:35generosity of her womb. The generosity of her womb of.
- 1:38:41Course, she had to bring that up and it was at a very awkward
- 1:38:45moment where they were all laughing at the fact that Meri
- 1:38:48cannot get pregnant when she wants to, and she just had to
- 1:38:52toss that little comment in there.
- 1:38:56It was very awkward. Definitely not a Robyn fan as we
- 1:38:59all know I should Stain is going to Kody Brown because what is
- 1:39:05not to hate about Kody Brown? He is a chauvinist, he is a
- 1:39:09sexist, he is just not. Even though he ended the episode
- 1:39:15by saying we want them to be educated, he also had to say and
- 1:39:18Meri Wright. So like, you know, he's he's he,
- 1:39:23he didn't marry right. He didn't marry right with any
- 1:39:25of these people because he is not in love with any of them
- 1:39:28except for Robyn. And he is a polygamist man.
- 1:39:30And you are not supposed to have a soulmate in polygamy because
- 1:39:33obviously you're married to multiple women.
- 1:39:36So fuck Kody, fuck Kody Brown. He's a shit stain.
- 1:39:40Our keep sweet moment this week is a review left on Apple
- 1:39:43Podcasts from Lynn Lynn Vega. And Lynn says, really enjoyed
- 1:39:48the look back on Sister Wives. Please keep doing what you're
- 1:39:51doing. So someone wants us to keep
- 1:39:53doing this. Isn't that nice?
- 1:39:56Why no? Why?
- 1:39:59Why do you want us to keep doing this, Lynn?
- 1:40:01Why? Why?
- 1:40:03Oh my God. That's.
- 1:40:04Amazing morbid fascination. Definitely morbid fascination.
- 1:40:07You know the Q&A's. I can live without him.
- 1:40:10Yeah. I don't know what to say.
- 1:40:12Take this one or leave it. Take it or leave it.
- 1:40:14Just like Robyn's womb. Take it or leave it, Meri.
- 1:40:18I'm giving Meri a choice. God.
