  Speaker 1: The first thing I want to share. As a principle

  Speaker 1: that supports growth and flourishing. Is the power of correct perception.

  Speaker 1: The power of correct perception. Jeremiah chapter 1 please. Would

  Speaker 1: you give us 11 and 12. Preferably from amplified. Jeremiah
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: chapter 1. So the discussion begins from verse 5. The

  Speaker 1: young Jeremiah is discussing with God. And this was a

  Speaker 1: matter relating to his life, his purpose, and his destiny.

  Speaker 1: And it says, while you were yet a child, while
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: you were in your mother's womb, before you came forth,
• 7:40
  Speaker 1: I called you and ordained you to be a prophet

  Speaker 1: unto the nations. By the time we get to verse 11, please,

  Speaker 1: the Bible says, the word of the Lord came to

  Speaker 1: me saying, Jeremiah, what do you see?

  Speaker 1: And then he replies by saying, I see the branch

  Speaker 1: of an almond tree. Let's shout verse 12 together if

  Speaker 1: Then the Lord said unto me, you have seen well,

  Speaker 1: Many, many people have been limited in life, in business,

  Speaker 1: in ministry, in career, not necessarily because of the wrongdoings

  Speaker 1: as far as adhering to the principles of growth is concerned,

  Speaker 1: but that intrinsically there is something wrong with their understanding,

  Speaker 1: their orientation, and their perception.

  Speaker 1: That The reality that is before you is as defined

  Speaker 1: by your mindset. The reality that is before you is

  Speaker 1: as defined by your orientation. Two people can be in

  Speaker 1: a situation, perhaps a challenging situation. And for one person,
• 9:04
  Speaker 1: he sees it as an opportunity to rise, to thrive.

  Speaker 1: I hope you know that the same wind. Connecting to
• 9:11
  Speaker 1: the flow of the teachings we've had, the same wind
• 9:14
  Speaker 1: that blows on the palm tree blows on every other tree.

  Speaker 3: It does not uniquely isolate the palm tree.

  Speaker 1: No. When the wind blows, it has no prejudices or biases.

  Speaker 1: Every tree that is before the wind gets affected by
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: the wind. What they define by the movement of the
• 9:33
  Speaker 1: wind is left to their perception.

  Speaker 3: But as for the wind, it will move. Are we

  Speaker 1: The wind moves on the mango tree like it moves
• 9:44
  Speaker 1: on the palm tree.

  Speaker 1: The shrubs like it moves on the established trees. You

  Speaker 1: will think the size of the tree should create some
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: kind of empathy. When the wind moves, it moves. The

  Speaker 1: survival of the tree is does not depend on whether

  Speaker 1: the wind comes or not they have been able to

  Speaker 1: redefine a strategy for survival the power of accurate perception

  Speaker 1: there are people today the greatest miracle happened to their

  Speaker 1: lives and in their lives and from their lives because

  Speaker 1: of the challenges they went through Are we together? A

  Speaker 1: ministry was birthed out of a woman's many years of

  Speaker 1: not having a child, for instance. She would have lived
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: in regret and pain, attracting sympathy from across the nations.

  Speaker 3: But she decided to redefine.
• 10:32
  Speaker 1: Listen, it is not what happens to you that hurts you.
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: It's the meaning you give to it. Why does one
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: million excite you today and frustrate you tomorrow?

  Speaker 3: It was always one million.
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: Your perception was lower than 1 million.

  Speaker 3: So it was a miracle.

  Speaker 1: When your perception rose higher than 1 million, it became
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: a source of frustration. You need more. You need a

  Speaker 1: higher dimension of that money. So 1 million no longer

  Speaker 1: blesses you. Whereas when you were looking up to it,
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: it was a miracle.

  Speaker 3: You see that now? My life changed.

  Speaker 1: When I discovered that if you can change your perception,

  Speaker 1: If I call someone now and I tell you I
• 11:19
  Speaker 1: just sent one million naira to your account. You start laughing.

  Speaker 1: Then I say, hey pray fool. Now hold on, hold on.

  Speaker 1: Even if I did not say hey pray fool and
• 11:30
  Speaker 1: I was lying. You were still happy. Because you trusted
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: what I was saying. Even without seeing the alert. Look
• 11:38
  Speaker 1: at the vacillations in your mood. And yet the truth
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: is I never even sent anything. Don't even have your
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: account number. But I said something to you that affected

  Speaker 1: your interpretation.

  Speaker 3: Are we together now? And you became happy.

  Speaker 1: And as soon as you found out I was joking,

  Speaker 1: it changed. Your destiny is at the mercy of your

  Speaker 3: The wind that blows, blows on everybody.

  Speaker 1: The challenges you are facing is not personal to you.

  Speaker 1: It's just a limited mindset that makes you think you

  Speaker 1: are uniquely isolated for suffering.

  Speaker 3: It's a lie.

  Speaker 1: You are not the first to look for money. You
• 12:18
  Speaker 1: are not the first to look for land.

  Speaker 1: You are not the first to trust God for grace

  Speaker 1: to scale your reputation. It's a reality and a challenge
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: that befalls all men who seek growth. But what distinguishes
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: failures and those who thrive.
• 12:34
  Speaker 3: And excel is their perception.

  Speaker 1: And when your perception is carved out of scripture, it
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: becomes an anchor. You see, because it takes a while
• 12:46
  Speaker 1: for results to happen.

  Speaker 3: Did you hear what I said?

  Speaker 1: The day a woman gets pregnant is not the day
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: she gives birth.
• 12:53
  Speaker 3: No matter how healthy she is.

  Speaker 1: So when you see a woman who is one month pregnant,

  Speaker 1: her inability to give birth is not.

  Speaker 3: A health issue.

  Speaker 1: It's a process issue. You don't pray and say, Madam,

  Speaker 1: eat well, eat better. There are times all you are

  Speaker 1: doing is right. All you need to do is to

  Speaker 1: redefine your perception and sustain the staying power.

  Speaker 3: Listen. Are we together?

  Speaker 1: What is your interpretation of failure? Who called it failure?

  Speaker 3: It matters who feeds your interpretation.

  Speaker 1: When man came in Adam and Eve in Genesis chapter 1.

  Speaker 1: The Bible tells us as far as we know and

  Speaker 1: as far as we read. That they never heard anyone

  Speaker 1: speak to them. The first person who framed the understanding
• 13:48
  Speaker 1: of Adam. Was God himself. And what he had was

  Speaker 1: be fruitful. That was the perception he had. But when

  Speaker 1: the serpent came. The serpent came to Eve. And said

  Speaker 1: the first thing I want to know. Is what God

  Speaker 1: told you. I will have to depend on what he

  Speaker 1: has said. To alter your perception. If I cannot find

  Speaker 1: out what God has said. It becomes difficult to deceive you.

  Speaker 1: He says I fear. Less as Satan beguiled Eve. You

  Speaker 1: see that now? And he said, so what has God
• 14:23
  Speaker 1: told you? We may freely eat of all the trees
• 14:26
  Speaker 1: except this one. The day we eat, we will die.

  Speaker 3: He said, aha.

  Speaker 1: Don't you think God may be hiding something from you?

  Speaker 1: He knows that when you eat, your eyes will be opened.

  Speaker 1: You will be as the God, knowing good and evil.

  Speaker 1: The Bible says, when the woman saw, saw, her perception

  Speaker 1: became altered. Her perception changed. She did not see value

  Speaker 1: in obedience again. She did not see value in honoring

  Speaker 1: the words of God again. The Bible says when she

  Speaker 1: saw that it was good for food and it was

  Speaker 1: desire to make a man wise, her.

  Speaker 3: Action was in honor to her perception.

  Speaker 1: There are many of you, what you are binding today

  Speaker 1: was the answer to your prayer. It's just that your

  Speaker 1: perception has not yet been put together.

  Speaker 3: Are we together?

  Speaker 1: You prayed and said, God lift me. And in doing so,

  Speaker 1: he took you. How do you think Joseph was going
• 15:19
  Speaker 1: to become a prime minister? If God described the detail

  Speaker 1: for Joseph on how he would become a prime minister,
• 15:28
  Speaker 1: he would reject every part of that. Is that true?

  Speaker 1: So the way God works is that he does not
• 15:34
  Speaker 1: tell you how you will get there. He only gives
• 15:37
  Speaker 1: you the end point. So that you will know that
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: the end is the manifestation of God's glory. But you

  Speaker 1: will have to depend on him for every work. How

  Speaker 1: do you call throwing a man into a well as advancement?

  Speaker 1: How do you call selling a man by his brothers

  Speaker 1: as progress?

  Speaker 1: Joseph's pastor, right from the well, I would.

  Speaker 3: Be binding the spirit and say, Lord, let this.

  Speaker 1: Boy return back to his father's house. Yet I will

  Speaker 3: The power of accurate perception.

  Speaker 1: He says, yea, though I walk through the valley of

  Speaker 1: the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for

  Speaker 1: thou art with me. I thought you would say for

  Speaker 1: thou remove me. For thou art with me. Why did

  Speaker 1: you come to join me there? Isn't it more profitable

  Speaker 1: to remove me? Ask the three Hebrew boys.

  Speaker 1: Removed from the fire arbitrarily, there would be no miracle.

  Speaker 1: The miracle was because they were in the fire, not

  Speaker 1: because they were delivered. The miracle was because they were

  Speaker 1: avoided the fire, it would not be miracle enough. Not

  Speaker 1: Many believers don't know how their answer looks like. This

  Speaker 1: And the Bible tells us that it pleased Herod to

  Speaker 3: After they beheaded James, he saw that it pleased them.

  Speaker 1: And he kept Peter, that after the Passover, he would

  Speaker 1: hand them to the people. Then the Bible says in

  Speaker 1: verse 5, verse 6, it said, but prayer was made

  Speaker 1: by the church unto God for him. In honor and

  Speaker 1: in response to that prayer.

  Speaker 3: An angel comes.

  Speaker 1: And the Bible says that angel brought deliverance for Peter.

  Speaker 1: Disturbing part of that scripture. Is that after Peter escaped.

  Speaker 1: He now knocked the door and said I have arrived.

  Speaker 1: They thought it was his angel. And closed the door

  Speaker 3: Perception. Perception. You prayed and said, God, honor me.

  Speaker 1: And he sent you to a company with unfavorable conditions.

  Speaker 1: Look beyond the conditions. That is where your destiny helper

  Speaker 1: will meet you. Pharaoh would never have met Joseph in

  Speaker 3: Of his father. No. There was no connection.

  Speaker 1: In fact, it was even through Joseph that Jacob and

  Speaker 1: all his other sons were redeemed. Listen, this is a lesson.

  Speaker 1: An angel appears to Mary, Reverend Sam, and says, you

  Speaker 1: I have studied the life of Mary carefully. I do

  Speaker 1: First, Joseph said, I've been hearing that you are pregnant.

  Speaker 1: And because of that, you are whatever rabbi. You are

  Speaker 1: about to lose your marriage. And then every time you

  Speaker 1: are about to lose your marriage, what you are hearing

  Speaker 1: is you are highly favored. Not just favored. What is

  Speaker 1: the favor and the trouble that came? And then after
• 20:31
  Speaker 1: enduring that pregnancy, about to give birth. They will not
• 20:35
  Speaker 1: even let you give birth to your child in peace.

  Speaker 1: Then to hear that Herod is looking for you and
• 20:40
  Speaker 1: your child. Describe for me using spiritual intelligence what is
• 20:45
  Speaker 1: favorable about that situation. And even after Jesus was born,

  Speaker 1: there was no special honor anywhere that was given to
• 20:55
  Speaker 1: Mary that showed that it was favor. That one day

  Speaker 1: Jesus put a triumphant entry and said, today I want

  Speaker 1: to introduce the woman that suffered, you have no idea.

  Speaker 1: Yet the Bible says favor. She was even part of

  Speaker 1: the 120 that had to endure to receive the Holy Ghost.

  Speaker 1: No special treatment. The same Holy Ghost that came and

  Speaker 1: got her pregnant, she had to join the other people

  Speaker 1: Have you been casting your miracle away? Have you been
