- 0:38Speaker 2: We will get started with Dan first. Dan, you're our
- 0:41Speaker 2: little fatter.
- 0:42Speaker 1: How about that?
- 0:42Speaker 3: Go ahead, Dan. Oh, exciting. I don't know if I
- 0:45Speaker 3: can handle this. My question, Greg, is, you know, we're here,
- 0:49Speaker 3: you know, post week five. Besides the drama, you know,
- 0:52Speaker 3: we know we're instilling a new offensive system. We know
- 0:55Speaker 3: there is going to be some growing pains. Unfortunately, I'm
- 0:57Speaker 3: not really aware what to look for as a novice
- 1:00Speaker 3: in terms of what a West Coast offense look like.
- 1:03Speaker 3: And I was wondering if maybe you could expound on
- 1:05Speaker 3: if you're seeing that the West Coast offense transition is
- 1:08Speaker 3: actually happening. You're seeing West Coast concepts in the offense
- 1:11Speaker 3: this year?
- 1:13Speaker 2: Well, West Coast has evolved over time to where that's
- 1:17Speaker 2: a term more than, let's say, what Bill Walsh did
- 1:20Speaker 2: years and years ago. So no offense is specifically one
- 1:24Speaker 2: thing now. They use that term because for, I don't
- 1:29Speaker 2: want to say for only one reason, but In this
- 1:33Speaker 2: style of offense, everything is precisely choreographed.
- 1:37Speaker 4: So I wanted to ask you if you're seeing anything
- 1:39Speaker 4: that they're doing with their condensed formations that is just
- 1:42Speaker 4: leading them to be so much less successful than the
- 1:44Speaker 4: rest of the league.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Now, a couple of things. If you're going to run
- 1:48Speaker 2: condensed formations, which is now a big trend in the league,
- 1:51Speaker 2: by the way, it's not just the Eagles. Everybody runs
- 1:54Speaker 2: condensed formations. So you know how defenses are now responding
- 1:57Speaker 2: to that? They're blitzing more with their corners because the
- 2:00Speaker 2: corners are a lot closer to the quarterback. So now
- 2:02Speaker 2: you get the chess match between condensed formations and teams
- 2:06Speaker 2: blitzing and, you know, everything gets sped up. But if
- 2:10Speaker 2: you're going to run a lot of condensed formations, think
- 2:13Speaker 2: of teams that are really good at it and where
- 2:14Speaker 2: they throw the ball.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I guess the other thing was about Jalen Carter.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Like, did he finally look healthy to you? Did they
- 2:21Speaker 2: deploy him better? Well, in the first half, he had
- 2:23Speaker 2: dominant snaps for sure. Absolutely dominant snaps in the first half.
- 2:28Speaker 2: um and he looked great um you know didn't didn't
- 2:31Speaker 2: do that in the second half but you know again
- 2:33Speaker 2: there's sometimes that happens with the tackles.
- 2:36Speaker 5: Hey greg just a real quick one it looked like
- 2:37Speaker 5: to me the offensive line did a lot better job
- 2:39Speaker 5: of handling stunts and it looked like they finally had
- 2:42Speaker 5: some answers when facing some blitzes did you see anything
- 2:45Speaker 5: different on their end oh i don't know maybe a
- 2:48Speaker 5: communication maybe with the backups having that uh familiarity with
- 2:51Speaker 5: each other.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Well the uh Jaguars are a high percentage stunt defense. So,
- 2:58Speaker 2: I mean, this was a game where they had to
- 3:00Speaker 2: deal with that. I would say, uh, for the most
- 3:03Speaker 2: part that, you know, they did. Okay. I, I didn't,
- 3:06Speaker 2: you know, watching the tape, I didn't feel like, man,
- 3:07Speaker 2: they're just not picking people up.
- 3:09Speaker 6: Greg, just in your film study, um, quarter point in
- 3:12Speaker 6: the season, uh, could you give me a unit that
- 3:15Speaker 6: you're surprised in how well they're playing and vice versa,
- 3:18Speaker 6: one that you think is playing poorly, just any team
- 3:20Speaker 6: in the league?
- 3:22Speaker 2: Oh, um, Well, I think even though they lost this week,
- 3:27Speaker 2: I think the Browns defense is a really, really good unit.
- 3:32Speaker 2: They play a really high percentage of man coverage. They
- 3:35Speaker 2: play a ton of single high. They play a ton
- 3:37Speaker 2: of man coverage. But they are really, they're a fast defense.
- 3:41Speaker 2: They're actually a fun defense to watch. They didn't lose
- 3:43Speaker 2: the game this week because of their defense.

- 6:02Speaker 2: Hey, Eddie.
- 6:03Speaker 7: I want to take you to the last offensive possession
- 6:07Speaker 7: for the Eagles when it was first and 10 at
- 6:11Speaker 7: the 34 with 25 seconds left. And it was something
- 6:15Speaker 7: Sirianni said during his press conference about And I know
- 6:19Speaker 7: you can only take it for what it is because
- 6:21Speaker 7: it's just a press conference. He's just saying stuff. But
- 6:24Speaker 7: he said, first and 10, yeah, you could have run it.
- 6:27Speaker 7: But what Jacksonville was doing, running wasn't going to be
- 6:30Speaker 7: an option. So I want to know what Jacksonville was doing.
- 6:33Speaker 2: So you're talking about the last possession?
- 6:35Speaker 7: Yes, their final offensive possession, 25 seconds, first and 10
- 6:39Speaker 7: at the 34.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Of the Jags.
- 6:47Speaker 7: And I want to know, what was Jacksonville doing that
- 6:51Speaker 7: running wasn't going to be an option? Because I feel
- 6:55Speaker 7: like you could have answers to that.
- 6:58Speaker 2: They lined up in a one, two, three, four, seven-man front.
- 7:03Speaker 2: So right on the first level of the defense, there's
- 7:07Speaker 2: no gaps. So, you know, it's really difficult to run
- 7:13Speaker 2: against that. There's no gaps.
- 7:15Speaker 8: Greg.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Since, obviously, Vic has told us now that there's the
- 7:19Speaker 4: belief that those two guys were going to split reps,
- 7:21Speaker 4: him and Jeremiah were going to split reps during the
- 7:23Speaker 4: game on Sunday. Right there, that starts making me believe that, like,
- 7:26Speaker 4: he's telling you without telling you that, hey, we're kind
- 7:29Speaker 4: of losing faith in this guy. And I get it.
- 7:30Speaker 4: He's only a second-year player. No question. Things can change.
- 7:33Speaker 2: We don't have to guess now. They just told us.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. Like, you know what I mean?
- 7:38Speaker 4: They're not doing this if they feel like this is
- 7:41Speaker 4: going to be something that could work long term. So
- 7:43Speaker 4: my question to you is then remember when he was drafted,
- 7:46Speaker 4: there was this belief that, Hey, he could still be
- 7:48Speaker 4: an edge rusher potentially. And with the Eagles, you know,
- 7:51Speaker 4: obviously fight and injuries and whatnot down there. Do you
- 7:53Speaker 4: think that there's, I know it's harder in season, but
- 7:56Speaker 4: can that be something they try to explore to try
- 7:58Speaker 4: to see if they can work him to get reps
- 8:00Speaker 4: on the edge?
- 8:00Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I mean, the guy, look, the guy is an explosive
- 8:03Speaker 2: moving athlete. He just doesn't see the game well from
- 8:07Speaker 2: a stacked position. And, you know, maybe he can be
- 8:10Speaker 2: an edge player or, you know, and if he would,
- 8:12Speaker 2: he wouldn't be a full time player. But then maybe
- 8:14Speaker 2: he can be, you know, a sort of a designated
- 8:17Speaker 2: edge rusher. I don't know. I don't know if they're
- 8:19Speaker 2: cross training him in that area. I don't know the
- 8:21Speaker 2: answer to that.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Everything in life comes down to choice, doesn't it? Whether
- 8:24Speaker 1: it's choosing the team you root for, who you listen to,
- 8:28Speaker 1: or how you power your home, you deserve the freedom
- 8:30Speaker 1: to choose your own adventure, and that goes for your
- 8:33Speaker 1: power bill too. Right now across the U.S., Americans have
- 8:36Speaker 1: the potential to harness limitless, clean, affordable energy. We could
- 8:40Speaker 1: be powering our hospitals, our schools, our farms, and so
- 8:43Speaker 1: much more. In some places, this abundant local power is
- 8:47Speaker 1: already helping lower utility bills and creating jobs. But depending
- 8:51Speaker 1: on where you live, you may not have the option
- 8:54Speaker 1: to choose Limitless Energy for your household. That has to change.
- 8:58Speaker 1: We should all get to choose the energy we pay for. Cheaper, cleaner,

- 10:08Speaker 1: fans 21 and up.
- 10:11Speaker 8: My last question is, I've listened to you a lot
- 10:14Speaker 8: talk about Tua, and you talk about the physical limitations
- 10:17Speaker 8: that he has have limited success in the NFL. And
- 10:21Speaker 8: a guy that is, to me, a carbon copy is
- 10:23Speaker 8: Bryce Young. And Bryce Young seems like he's having a
- 10:27Speaker 8: lot more success. And I would like to know, what
- 10:30Speaker 8: is the difference between the two? Is there a stylistic difference?
- 10:33Speaker 8: Does Bryce Young have a stronger arm? Why is he
- 10:36Speaker 8: able to find success where Tua's not?
- 10:40Speaker 2: I think Bryce Young sees it overall better than Tua.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Tua was all rhythm. Tua had to hit his back foot,
- 10:45Speaker 2: the ball had to come out. If it didn't happen,
- 10:47Speaker 2: he got stuck. And Young is just a way better athlete.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Young is deceptively slippery. He's not explosive. And obviously the
- 10:56Speaker 2: Eagles play them next week. And boy, if they lose
- 10:59Speaker 2: at home to Carolina, the shit will probably hit the
- 11:00Speaker 2: fan big time. But the point is, is that Young
- 11:04Speaker 2: is deceptively slippery. And that's a big deal.
- 11:08Speaker 4: All right, guys.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Good stuff.
- 11:09Speaker 4: See you. All right.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Thanks, guys. Really appreciate it.
