Speaker 1: Friend, miss Kelly Sunshine.
• 3:05
Speaker 1: After hanging out with Kelly Sunshine on a day, I just feel lifted, I feel high on life, I feel like I've been kissed by the sun, and people could not have nicknamed you any better than Kelly Sunshine.

Speaker 1: She also has four beautiful children, all in different phases of life One boy and three girls, who we call her baby rays of sun.
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: They love that.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: I'm sure they do, and they're all like blonde and beautiful and so creative, uh, so creative and different in their own unique spirits.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: It's just really great to see your, your spawn, your offspring, just reflecting the sunshine that you have shown on them, their entire beautiful lives, and I just can't wait to see what they bring to the table here and utilizing.
• 3:59
Speaker 1: Speaking of sharing their gifts, I feel like our children are God's greatest gift to us, and so amen to them.
• 4:06
Speaker 1: But on top of being, you know, just a beautiful, bold ray of light who is always positive I'm not kidding.
• 4:12
Speaker 1: Like people say that I'm always positive and I'm like.
• 4:13

  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 4:20
  Speaker 2: A lot.
• 4:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, it is contagious, but I just love hanging out with you because I just feel like you know we talk about ideas and concepts and plans and doing things and we do lots of things.
• 4:33
Speaker 1: So I just feel like you are such a wonderful gift in my life and I thank dear Lord every day to have a best friend and a business partner like you.
• 4:43
Speaker 1: Sunshine, Love what we're creating.
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: Girlfriend.
• 4:46
Speaker 2: I'd have it no other way.
• 4:47
Speaker 2: Thank you, and okay, I'm not done yet.
• 4:49
Speaker 2: I might have to save some, some other issues.
• 4:53
Speaker 1: I also wanted to say that, when it comes to natural living and, uh, really, uh, leaning to mother earth and all of her gifts, Kelly sunshine has got this down.
• 5:05
Speaker 1: Like I know, she's always learning, you know she'll be the first, she's the humblest, so she'll say you know she's always.
• 5:10
Speaker 1: But she has taught me so much.
• 5:12
Speaker 1: She has me drinking smoothies every day, she has me using natural laundry detergent and she has me gardening and loving, like really embracing the different seasons in the garden, and she's taught me so, so much.
• 5:28
Speaker 1: So thank you, Kelly Sunshine.
• 5:31
Speaker 1: With no further ado, oh my goodness, thank you.
• 5:34
Speaker 1: The sunshine to my bubbles oh, you're making blush I love you.
• 5:39
Speaker 1: Okay, as I'm holding my we're drinking stinging nettle.
• 5:44
Speaker 1: Today We'll get into that later.
• 5:45
  Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
• 5:46
Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, thank you, dear, that was so kind.
• 5:51
Speaker 1: And this right here, don't, you don't want to have to, no.
• 5:58
Speaker 2: I'm not telling anybody anything, they don't know.
• 6:00
Speaker 2: Your energy is so contagious, ashley, and you just light up the room.
• 6:04
Speaker 2: You're the ultimate hype girl, like everywhere you go, front row speaker creature, just livening it up, but in the sweetest, most humblest, kindest, gentlest way, like I don't know how you do it, but you do it and you do it so good.
• 6:19
Speaker 2: I don't know if it's that real energy, combined with just loving life and your YOLO spirit and percolating bubble yummy goodness.
• 6:30
Speaker 2: I feel like people would pay to hang out with you.
• 6:36
Speaker 2: I'm not going to lie.
• 6:37
Speaker 2: So, I am so honored to be your right hand girl, because I'm the right hand, you're the lefty Another.
• 6:45
Speaker 1: We're literally the yin to the yang.
• 6:46
Speaker 1: Hold on, no, it's gotta be the alien handshake.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: Oh, I love doing this, yes.
• 6:55
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 6:57
Speaker 1: I come in peace, love and light.
• 7:01
  Speaker 2: Keep it light.
• 7:02
Speaker 2: That is exactly what I feel like you are so good at and like don't take it too serious, and we all have our days right, like I'm always not sunshiny and you're not always percolating the yummy goodness, but I feel like that's why we have each other and it works so well because it just kind of balances.
• 7:20
  Speaker 1: It's a concerted effort.
• 7:21
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 7:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'll tell you what uh cannabis helps too.
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: Oh, highly.
• 7:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, they're always like do you guys on, we want some?
• 7:28
Speaker 2: Like um, yeah, we've been telling you the whole time.
• 7:33
  Speaker 1: It's not a secret.
• 7:35
Speaker 1: Cat's out of the bag.
• 7:36
Speaker 1: Cannabis cat is out of the bag.
• 7:38
  Speaker 2: T and a have LLC.
• 7:40
Speaker 1: Go check it out.
• 7:41
  Speaker 2: Sun-grown, natural, organic.
• 7:43
Speaker 2: Plant it with these hands, right here.
• 7:46
  Speaker 2: Yeah, love, love.
• 7:51
Speaker 1: These hands are trying.
• 7:53
Speaker 1: These hands have seen a lot of dirt, but they just want to give it to you.
• 7:57
Speaker 1: Yes, good, we'll keep that in our pocket.
• 8:03
Speaker 1: These hands, I could go on.
• 8:10
Speaker 2: Oh, that's why she's on the worship team Ripping.
• 8:12
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 8:13
Speaker 1: Band practice was so good yesterday with the worship team, was it?
• 8:16
Speaker 1: It was amazing, you made it.
• 8:18
Speaker 1: I recently just joined the worship team singing my praises, our praises, to Jesus at New Light Church off of Highway Dean West Bend.
• 8:26
Speaker 1: You have to come check it out at one of these services.
• 8:27
Speaker 1: It's happening almost every other Sunday, but now, you know, with some fill-in too.
• 8:32
Speaker 2: Isn't that one broadcast?
• 8:33
Speaker 2: Oh, but the singing's not right.
• 8:35
Speaker 2: The singing is not because of music licensing.
• 8:37
Speaker 1: I was like you can see her, but you can't See it, but you can't see it.
• 8:40
Speaker 2: So you just got to show up and come live in person.
• 8:42
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the best way Front row.
• 8:44
Speaker 2: If not front row, it's okay, Back row, you can start there.
• 8:48
  Speaker 2: I feel like that's where I started.
• 8:51
Speaker 2: Yeah, I like front row because I'm not tempted not that I'm judging other people, but just to look at them, you know, like when they're in front of you, and I really want to like listen to what is being said and what I'm supposed to be hearing.
• 9:04
Speaker 2: But I like the speaker creature front row.
• 9:07
  Speaker 1: No row.
• 9:08
Speaker 1: Like you can't live life in the back row, you got to get up in there front and the next step is stage.
• 9:14
  Speaker 1: So awesome.
• 9:18
Speaker 1: I'm so excited to see where it'll go.
• 9:19
Speaker 1: I can't believe how many songs that I've learned in the short amount of time I'm like looking at, I'm keeping track of them in a like a laminated folder book.
• 9:27
Speaker 2: And I'm like holy cats.
• 9:28
  Speaker 1: It's escalated quickly.
• 9:29
Speaker 1: We're learning quite a few songs here.
• 9:31
Speaker 1: So now I want to create like an Apple playlist and put all the songs like in the playlist, Because every week our worship leader, Al God bless his soul, sends us YouTube videos of them so we can kind of practice and rehearse before practice and then in between for showtime.
• 9:48
Speaker 1: I don't want to call it showtime, I really want to be humble about it, because it's not about me.
• 9:52
  Speaker 2: It's a celebration.
• 9:53
  Speaker 2: I feel like it's a celebration, a Jesus Jubilee.
• 9:55
  Speaker 1: Yes, jesus Jubilee.
• 9:58
Speaker 2: I love Jesus Jubilee.
• 10:00
Speaker 2: All right, we digress sunshine.
• 10:03
Speaker 1: It is worship here and this is just one of our ways that we have felt so called to share our gifts and all of our bountiful blessings that have been bestowed upon us by doing this podcast Because it's awesome and I have a degree in communication and in herbalism.
• 10:24
Speaker 1: So I feel like that was like a very clear calling to be like oh, spread the love, yes, and with your earth and water side and being the yin to the yang, I feel like this.
• 10:33
Speaker 1: We're just so blessed to be able to do this together.
• 10:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, I just, I just feel like it's a perfect compliment and of course, we're having fun, because if we're not having fun, then I want none.
• 10:39
Speaker 1: Nope, yeah, I'm out.
• 10:41
  Speaker 2: Peace, yeah.
• 10:42
Speaker 1: I'm out Peace it's where it's at and live and love and learn in.
• 10:46
Speaker 1: You know, I feel like we can definitely with confidence say we're the authority on cannabis because we've dealt with it and worked with it, but I feel like it's been really interesting to learn about all the other herbs.
• 10:56
Speaker 1: So, without further ado, we have a humdinger of about an hour-long session to share with you.
• 11:02
Speaker 1: We've got a lot to pick in, pack in a lot to talk about, all great positive blessings that we're on the up and up.
• 11:09
Speaker 1: But before we do all that, I would like to close our eyes, bow our heads, join hands with me, please, darling, and say a sweet prayer.
• 11:16
Speaker 1: Dear Lord Jesus, our hearts are bursting with gratitude as we come together and share our energy with the beautiful people that are listening on this other end.
• 11:28
Speaker 1: Lord, may our words be your words.
• 11:32
Speaker 1: May you continue to use us as your hands and feet and spread your message.
• 11:36
Speaker 1: We're going and telling it on the mountain and we couldn't be more blessed to do so In your glory.
• 11:46
Speaker 1: Be to you, God, in your name Amen.
• 11:49
  Speaker 2: Amen.
• 11:50
Speaker 2: Oh, that was beautiful Amen.
• 11:52
  Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
• 11:56
  Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.
• 12:00
Speaker 1: See you boys have an angel over there.
• 12:03
  Speaker 2: I love it.
• 12:04
Speaker 1: Jesus keeps doing it.
• 12:05
Speaker 1: Oh, oh, that's a good one.
• 12:06
Speaker 1: And then we have a mantra that we want to hit you with.
• 12:10
Speaker 2: Just keep growing, just keep growing, just keep growing.
• 12:14
Speaker 2: How many seeds are we going to plant today, ashley?
• 12:21
Speaker 1: No doubt no lie.
• 12:21
Speaker 1: Straight away after this, we are headed down To the hoop house and we are planting seeds and they are hemp seeds today, provided by none other than the UW-Madison Extension Program for Cannabinoid Research.
• 12:37
Speaker 1: So they are supplying the genetics and the different varietals, and I can't be more stoked to work with them and put those seeds in the dirt.
• 12:46
Speaker 2: I really feel like working with UW kind of solidifies our mission and like we're not just, you know, two hippie dippies, you know, trying to spread the love and grow some pot.
• 12:57
Speaker 2: We're here because it really truly is so beneficial to so many people and has so much potential.
• 13:05
Speaker 2: So I'm really really excited to work with them and like do some research and uncover all the well, maybe not all of them, but some more mysteries.
• 13:15
Speaker 1: Absolutely and to have that support.
• 13:17
Speaker 1: I feel like the ongoing communication throughout the grow season is awesome.
• 13:21
Speaker 1: It's really uniting other farmers all across the Midwest about what's working, what's not working, from pests to diseases to great organic nutrients that are being used.
• 13:33
Speaker 1: It's just really exciting to be in the loop in that connection of the cannabinoids.
• 13:39
Speaker 1: It kind of reminds me of the Helix right when it's like it's all connected and we got some really cool tricks up our hat this season for the cannabinoid research Really getting documentation down and, you know, being able to write down germination rates and ideal harvest times and then comparing that to all the research that has already been done and already compiled, and to be able to be a participant in that history in the making.
• 14:12
Speaker 2: We're so stoked Blazing trails for men Blazing, trails Blazing yeah, that's super exciting.
• 14:22
Speaker 1: So good, so good, so good.
• 14:25
Speaker 1: So is this where we want to talk about the UW Cannabis Conference?
• 14:30
Speaker 2: that we were just at.
• 14:31
Speaker 1: I think it's time, you know I mean, I feel like it was a little bit down on the thing, but we can just move it right on up.
• 14:35
Speaker 1: Oh, wisconsin, or was it Camp Randall?
• 14:38
  Speaker 2: Camp Randall.
• 14:39
  Speaker 2: Is that the?
• 14:41
Speaker 1: one at the oh yeah, camp Randall, yeah.
• 14:42
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, camp Randall, yeah, yes, which we have yet to be to.
• 14:45
Speaker 2: We would love to go.
• 14:45
  Speaker 2: Yeah, who out?
• 14:46
Speaker 1: there has been to a Badger game in Wisconsin.
• 14:49
Speaker 1: I heard it's rowdy, it's unlike any other.
• 14:52
Speaker 1: So I've heard yeah, yeah, we have never been, but DNA Hemp is going to take it there.
• 14:57
Speaker 2: Come on, high Five Tribe, let's go Field trip.
• 14:59
  Speaker 2: Yoo-hoo Squad up.
• 15:02
Speaker 2: So Tuesday is typically our podcast day, but we had to do it today.
• 15:08
Speaker 2: Postpone it because we went to the UW-Madison Cannabis Conference at Union South.
• 15:16
Speaker 2: We were right on time and so we had to park.
• 15:21
Speaker 2: Parking in Madison is no joke.
• 15:25
Speaker 2: We circled and circled but we found it ran in the rain a couple blocks, not too far, nothing we can't handle, uh.
• 15:33
Speaker 2: And just to be in a room full of people that we really look up to and admire and have really been putting in the work and doing the research and growing and not only the growing end, but also the finished products and like what it could be used for and how it could help so many things between like from environmentally to, additionally, um, textiles and I mean recreationally, of course like who doesn't want to feel good?
• 16:05
Speaker 2: But yeah, there was so many good juicy nuggets in there.
• 16:08
  Speaker 2: What?
• 16:09
Speaker 2: What was one of your big takeaways, ash?
• 16:11
Speaker 2: Oh, hold on, First I have to like back the train of thought.
• 16:13
Speaker 2: It was earth day, by the way.
• 16:16
Speaker 1: So divine timing, I think so.
• 16:18
Speaker 1: Uh, that was wild and um, you know being females and you know being females, minorities, female growers in the industry you do want to be taken seriously.
• 16:37
Speaker 1: You know, in any profession Except in the cannabis realm because we showed up in there and wrote we had name tags and make it official.
• 16:42
Speaker 1: This is not the first time we've done this, but we up and they're like yo, we sunshine and bubbles, we embrace it.
• 16:48
Speaker 1: I kind of had a giggle at myself as I got home like, oh my gosh, like no one it was all the peers that we look up to like it was doctors and lawyers and uh, accredited book writers, uh, clinical journalists, and I mean these were the top tier.
• 17:05
Speaker 1: They flew in the keynote speaker from Scotland who wrote four books on the history of cannabis Wild, and here we are, yeah.
• 17:16
  Speaker 2: Hey guys.
• 17:17
Speaker 1: Jim Feller, I believe, is that Feller.
• 17:19
Speaker 1: He was a mighty fine fella, how's your Irish asking.
• 17:24
Speaker 1: He was so much fun to listen to.
• 17:26
Speaker 1: I absolutely loved him and the history and it just kind of solidified the deep rooted history that cannabis has throughout the world.
• 17:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, not just here, and that continues to.
• 17:35
Speaker 1: You know, we're history in the making at this very moment, so it was really cool to be able to connect with him and, you know, just listen to him.
• 17:47
Speaker 1: It was awesome and yeah, how he was supposed to.
• 17:50
Speaker 1: You know how, even the disconnect between reefer madness, what it was and what it is, and kind of bridging the gap about where we're going.
• 17:59
Speaker 1: It was really awesome.
• 17:59
Speaker 1: And, of course, it was headed up by our old Senator, Melissa Agar, who has been blazing trails on the cannabis path to legalization, decriminalization and rescheduling.
• 18:12
Speaker 1: That's a lot, yeah, A lot of work to do.
• 18:15
  Speaker 1: That's still there.
• 18:15
Speaker 1: But she's been putting in the good work and in the fact that she is a female pushing for the change and being that voice.
• 18:26
Speaker 1: We are cheering her on every step of the way.
• 18:28
Speaker 1: I'm like go, Senator Edgar, Go, Mrs Edgar.
• 18:32
Speaker 1: She is amazing, I just love her.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: And of course, she's like says her rah-rah speech.
• 18:39
Speaker 1: She's like mic drop, gotta go, Bye Gotta go to other.
• 18:42
Speaker 2: So one of my favorite of her quotes or I don't know if it's her quote, but the the most dangerous thing about cannabis is that it's illegal.
• 18:52
Speaker 2: Say that again, like the most dangerous thing about cannabis is that it's illegal.
• 18:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, night job yeah, that's a yes wrap.
• 19:03
  Speaker 2: I'm gonna.
• 19:04
Speaker 2: I'm still wrapping my head around that.
• 19:07
Speaker 1: And I feel like let that sink in folks.
• 19:10
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's coming from our study and I mean, I think my biggest takeaway is that you had.
• 19:16
Speaker 1: So they were talking about how UW-Madison is really a unique campus in the way it is designed and its infrastructure.
• 19:22
Speaker 1: You know, it's not just like the campus for um architecture it is.
• 19:28
Speaker 1: It is scientists, it's engineers, it is economists, it's agronomists, it's chem, backed by facts and all of the points, all of the evidence was supporting of a double thumbs up.
• 19:56
Speaker 1: Like what are we waiting for?
• 19:58
Speaker 1: Wisconsin, world, united States?
• 20:01
Speaker 1: Like there is big opportunity out there for real positive change that could impact our children's future, as we see it, with the deforestation and agricultural opportunity and fuel, biofuels and everything.
• 20:22
Speaker 1: If we could just put aside the, the greed and the corruption that has held us down for far too long, and imagine the possibilities and work together.
• 20:35
Speaker 1: I, that's what I loved about the UW spirit is that everybody seemed to have a common goal, yes, and and they were all using their gifts and working together to kind of create a cannabis utopia, yes, where it could be really well understood.
• 20:49
Speaker 1: And I feel like Dr Shelby was talking about education and Sunshine and I just looked at each other.
• 20:57
Speaker 1: And that's why we need to do this podcast, because that's really like at the core of it is to educate hemp.
• 21:02
Speaker 1: That's like where our brainchild came up.
• 21:04
Speaker 1: We're like we need to.
• 21:05
Speaker 1: We know about hemp, but we just need to tell people about hemp and if they maybe understood and took away the stigma, where could we be?
• 21:11
Speaker 1: You know, and so we're, you know, boots on the ground, advocates for the plant we call Cannabis Crusaders.
• 21:19
Speaker 2: I just love that one.
• 21:19
  Speaker 2: I do too.
• 21:25
Speaker 1: It needs to be like a brand.
• 21:26
Speaker 1: So bye-bye, yeah, because it's really yeah, it's just really been started, it's already written, it's already ours and everything's going according to plan.
• 21:30
Speaker 1: And with all that, I really just love the unique position that we're in right, that Wisconsin is in right now, because we have the responsibility and the obligation to study what has been working for other states, what hasn't been working for other states, and then kind of tailor a program that's going to fit Wisconsin's needs for the farmer, for the people, for all the constituents and the stakeholders involved in the cannabis universe, and we are going to raise the vibe right.
• 22:02
Speaker 1: Yes, this is like ascension, it's like stop the resisting.
• 22:07
Speaker 1: We need to get out of the resistance phase of cannabis prohibition and submit to the surrender.
• 22:17
  Speaker 2: A hundred percent.
• 22:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like it was an emotional rollercoaster for me, to be honest.
• 22:22
Speaker 2: That was beautifully said, by the way.
• 22:24
Speaker 2: Way, bubbles, thank you.
• 22:25
Speaker 2: Yes, I couldn't agree any more.
• 22:27
Speaker 2: But yeah, when I first got there, I was so honored to be with all those fine folks, with like-minded and you know.
• 22:34
Speaker 2: And then the longer I sat there, I was kind of getting upset, I was like getting mad, because this isn't our first conference.
• 22:44
Speaker 1: We've been going to these for five years, seven, seven years, six a long time, a long time, we've been, we've been, we've been A1 since day one on this cannabis journey.
• 22:54
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 22:54
Speaker 1: And and lots of stories to share.
• 22:57
Speaker 2: Honestly, it was like the same questions being asked and still no answers.
• 23:01
Speaker 2: And it's like what does it take?
• 23:04
Speaker 2: Like we are a group of people that you know, we've got scientists and all these people that you just said, and we're all on the same page, like what more can we do?
• 23:13
Speaker 2: And basically it came down to keep telling, keep talking about it, keep educating, keep spreading the good word.
• 23:21
Speaker 2: Get people all you know, keep spreading the good word, get people all you know.
• 23:27
Speaker 2: I don't want to say on your side, but to understand and unlock the potential that could possibly be there for sure, um, but then, after I settled down, I was like not mad about it, it just, um, really solidified the fact that this plant is so powerful.
• 23:43
Speaker 2: Otherwise people wouldn't be making such a fuss and a big stink and there wouldn't be so many stakeholders and it just really solidifies that, yeah, we're doing the right thing and it's just beginning.
• 24:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just beginning.
• 24:02
Speaker 1: We're not even getting started God.
• 24:04
Speaker 1: Yes, his plan, not my, my plan, it's all his plan and that's why I'm still like it's a continual daily journey.
• 24:13
Speaker 1: To be able to surrender to that and just keep growing.
• 24:18
Speaker 1: Yes, just keep going, just keep going, and to be ourselves and stay in your lane you know what I mean.
• 24:20
Speaker 1: Like I just appreciate all those different um disciplines, just keep going, just keep going, just keep going.
• 24:23
Speaker 1: And to be ourselves and stay in your lane you know what I mean.
• 24:26
Speaker 1: Like I just appreciate all those different disciplines and the knowledge that's out there and it's only just building.
• 24:32
Speaker 1: This is not going anywhere.
• 24:36
Speaker 1: You know, my knee jerk reaction is to get angry as well, like upset, like come on already.
• 24:43
Speaker 1: What are we doing?
• 24:44
Speaker 1: I feel so restricted, and it's just, I just feel like it's just a big giant miscommunication and as a comp major, you know, I'm just scratching my head on how to remedy this.
• 25:00
Speaker 1: Like what and and, and.
• 25:00
Speaker 1: You know people wondering about us too, of like not really understanding, not picking up, but we're throwing down, like you know talking about high vibrational medicine and you know, raising consciousness, like when you're supporting local farmers, it really has a huge ripple effect out there, a huge ripple effect out there, support your local farmers.
• 25:28
Speaker 1: That's from the West Bend Farmers Market, one of three farmers markets that we rally for and cheerlead for every summer.
• 25:35
Speaker 1: Literally, we bring bubbles, we bring music, we bring puppies crystals, we bring it all Plants, flower crowns, yeah, the singing sound bowls.
• 25:47
Speaker 1: We've busted out all the stops to champion for the farmer's markets.
• 25:52
Speaker 1: But I mean it's becoming so prevalent now to know your farmer because you know someone's got to face the music right, like, if you have questions, we are going to do our best to be able to answer it.
• 26:06
Speaker 1: We can look at you in your eye and tell you honestly what we're doing and what our best practices are, and we even went as far as to invite everybody if there was anybody who has any interest out to the field and to get their hands dirty, help us out.
• 26:24
  Speaker 1: I was really.
• 26:25
Speaker 1: You know, one of the downloads that came through at the UW-Madison Cannabis Conference is to do a work share program.
• 26:31
Speaker 1: Please like this video or give us some kind of thumbs up or a DM if you'd be interested in our upcoming work share program, where we're giving the opportunity for people to come out on the farm, learn with, grow with us, get dirty get down and dirty, that'll be physical hard labor.
• 26:48
Speaker 1: Okay, we are going to put you to work, but in return we will give you a plant or two, or five, because we are gonna have acres of them so please come out and grow with your plant.
• 27:00
Speaker 1: I will take it and we'll put your name on it.
• 27:01
Speaker 1: But I think that was such an excellent idea to kind of connect with the community.
• 27:03
Speaker 1: So please come out and grow with your plant, we'll tag it and we'll put your name on it.
• 27:05
Speaker 1: But I think that was such an excellent idea to kind of connect with the community and open up the farm as transparent as possible and saying that you know there is nothing to hide here, we are just putting in God's work, and it is hard, physical work, but we are trying.
• 27:19
Speaker 1: We have a lot of ingenuitive ideas here on the farm we're going to take to the next level with um, the help of, of course, the UW extension.
• 27:26
Speaker 1: So that was really really cool to be able to witness that and kind of ride, ride that wave of emotions, of like excitement, yet anger.
• 27:36
  Speaker 2: Yeah, frustration yeah.
• 27:38
Speaker 1: I just how can you?
• 27:40
Speaker 1: How are you going to tell me that I can't grow mint?
• 27:42
  Speaker 1: I can't.
• 27:42
Speaker 1: How are you going to tell me that I can't grow mint?
• 27:44
  Speaker 1: I can't even wildcraft nettle?
• 27:47
Speaker 1: I think people need to have access to this plant and be able to grow their own.
• 27:55
Speaker 1: So, wisconsin, when we are forging that path of what legalization looks here, it should be free the flower.
• 28:02
  Speaker 2: Just free it.
• 28:02
Speaker 2: Flower to the people.
• 28:03
Speaker 2: Flower to the people For real.
• 28:05
Speaker 1: Everyone should be free the flower, just free it.
• 28:06
Speaker 1: Flower to the people.
• 28:06
Speaker 1: Flower to the people For real.
• 28:07
Speaker 1: Like everyone should be able to grow.
• 28:09
Speaker 1: I don't know what the magic number is or where they come up with this stuff 24.
• 28:12
Speaker 1: We'll just go with that Hemp day 24 plants on their property, no special license, no, no restrictions.
• 28:23
  Speaker 2: No restrictions.
• 28:24
Speaker 2: You shouldn't have to go get it tested for nothing.
• 28:26
Speaker 1: No, you're growing what you need to be growing, and if you don't want to grow, that's where we come in.
• 28:32
Speaker 2: Right, but you should have that option yeah, you should have that option.
• 28:36
Speaker 1: So if that's not written in the bill, then we cannot settle for anything less, my friends, because this is now becoming a freedom attack.
• 28:42
Speaker 1: Right, because this is now becoming a freedom attack.
• 28:43
Speaker 1: That's where I started getting upset.
• 28:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, we want to take our health into our own hands.
• 28:47
Speaker 2: We don't want to have to source it from somewhere else, god knows where Not only our cannabis, but our food and everything else.
• 28:52
Speaker 2: Yes, I believe everybody should be able to grow their own without limits.
• 28:57
Speaker 2: But that does bring me to.
• 29:03
Speaker 2: One of my biggest takeaways is that testing is so, so important.
• 29:07
Speaker 2: One plant can look just like another, but you have no idea what's in there.
• 29:10
Speaker 2: And that's was one of the biggest like how do we regulate it?
• 29:13
Speaker 2: How do we this, how do we that?
• 29:14
Speaker 2: Well, we just got to test it and then you got to dial in your dosing because consumption is so important is so important.
• 29:32
Speaker 1: Yes, yes, indeed, indeed, yes, yes, yes, I agree, sunshine, but I also think it's we're overcomplicating an age old story, and does it need to be tested?
• 29:41
  Speaker 2: though.
• 29:41
Speaker 2: Well, I think, just um, products for fear, like just cause what needs to be tested, though?
• 29:45
Speaker 2: Well, I think, just Products For fear, just because what needs to be tested.
• 29:47
  Speaker 2: Can you elaborate?
• 29:48
Speaker 2: Yes, the plants For medicinal purposes, just because you know, like aspirin, you know how much is in there, like I don't feel like there should be limits on how much beautiful cannabinoids there are in there.
• 29:58
Speaker 2: But I think you know personally if you want to test it, but if you want to test it, but if you are going for the medicinal aspect, we know that so many people have been turned away or turned off of it because they tried too much and they're like Whoa.
• 30:14
Speaker 2: So I feel like just to, just from being at the conference and like all these stakeholders and all what if this, what if that, what if that, I just feel like testing is really important, just to find out what exactly is in that plant, so then you can go from there and not be scared or green out or you know what it'd be.
• 30:29
Speaker 2: I think like we do need to take it serious, like it is medicine.
• 30:33
Speaker 1: Yes, and I feel like the testing would help.
• 30:35
Speaker 2: But yeah, you're right.
• 30:35
Speaker 2: No, if you're just growing your own and doing your thing you know your soil, you know what you put into it then you know, you use, trust your intuition and use what aligns to you.
• 30:48
Speaker 2: And we know that sourcing your seed is so important.
• 30:49
Speaker 2: So you really got to know where you're getting that seed from and you got to develop a relationship and you have to trust them because ultimately, you don't know, they all look the same absolutely so.
• 31:01
Speaker 1: Working with you know credible people in the industry that will rise up and they're going to, you know, withstand the test of time and have all their lab testing and everything to back up what they're selling.
• 31:11
Speaker 1: So you can't just be any old geek off the street.
• 31:15
Speaker 1: But honestly, they are really overcomplicating this, feel like with, yeah, all the red tape and all the the misinformation, the misconceptions, um, just just free the plant.
• 31:29
Speaker 1: Is that too much to ask?
• 31:31
Speaker 2: well, I think one of the one of the other things real quick um, that I found really interesting is that they can't there's a lot of red tape in testing or, uh, research for cannabis, because it is Schedule 1, which is like no medical value Schedule 1.
• 31:51
Speaker 2: However, meth they could freely give to people and see the effects of it because it's a Schedule 2.
• 31:59
Speaker 2: So they could readily administrate this to people to see the effects of meth.
• 32:06
Speaker 2: But we can't we can't mess with cannabis, the plant.
• 32:10
Speaker 2: Do we see a problem with that Anyone?
• 32:13
  Speaker 2: I see potential.
• 32:14
Speaker 2: Oh I like the cute dig in the potentials and the problems.
• 32:21
Speaker 2: Oh, that's so good, that's so good.
• 32:23
Speaker 1: But that's where, like, the anger value comes in for me, because I just get, I'm just like, ah, to the problems.
• 32:25
Speaker 1: Oh, that's so good, that's so good.
• 32:25
Speaker 1: But that's where, like, the anger value comes in for me, because I just get, I'm just like, ah, are we serious right now?
• 32:30
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yes, and the point from the whole thing, from like the point three.
• 32:35
Speaker 1: I know they had some like explanation as to how they came up with that number, but it didn't make any sense.
• 32:40
Speaker 2: I'm not buying it.
• 32:41
Speaker 1: No, I'm not buying it.
• 32:42
Speaker 1: That's why I feel like we're starting the revolution High vibe tribe, that's why, if you subscribe, we'll keep you in the know to all of this no-transcript connoisseurs and constituents and everybody.
• 33:06
Speaker 1: Everybody is able to benefit from this plant in some way or another.
• 33:10
Speaker 1: And I feel like, yeah, just ground, getting back to your roots, grounding down to what feels good and trusting your intuition that you know these.
• 33:18
Speaker 1: You know the screens have kind of taken away from us a little bit.
• 33:21
Speaker 1: You know, like I just feel like everyone's so is this what they're reading or what they're seeing?
• 33:26
Speaker 1: But like, what about what we're feeling and what feels good?
• 33:29
Speaker 1: And I just feel like cannabis.
• 33:32
Speaker 1: I just owe her so much because really she's just been the gateway to holistic healing.
• 33:38
Speaker 1: So this Alternative medicine yeah, it's been a really beautiful and fun journey with her and she's just amazing.
• 33:49
Speaker 1: I can't wait to see what the future has to hold, especially when talking about that man who's building houses with, with the fiber, feeding our cows with the grain, which I also wanted to just point out there too, from my knowledge, you know we all have an endocannabinoid system.
• 34:06
Speaker 1: I feel like this is going to be a podcast in and of itself.
• 34:08
Speaker 1: Is the inner workings the ECS or endocannabinoid system.
• 34:08
Speaker 1: I feel like this is going to be a podcast in and of itself.
• 34:09
Speaker 1: Is the inner workings the ECS or endocannabinoid system?
• 34:12
Speaker 1: If you don't know what an endocannabinoid system maybe this is your first time hearing it I do urge you to do your own research.
• 34:18
Speaker 1: There's plenty studies out there.
• 34:20
Speaker 1: Actually, there is quite a bit of clinical research worldwide maybe not so much here in the United States, but it's out there.
• 34:25
Speaker 1: Maybe not so much here in the United States, but it's out there.
• 34:28
Speaker 1: And for the cannabis to have the keys to your endocannabinoid system, but so do other plants as well, and our cows and our animals, our livestock used to, you know, free range.
• 34:41
Speaker 1: They used to feed on this.
• 34:42
Speaker 1: They used to feed on the feral hemp, and that's how humans would consume their cannabinoids, get their phytocannabinoids was from natural living.
• 34:53
Speaker 1: And that's why it's so prevalent today to supplement your system with these phytocannabinoids, because we're not finding that in our diet anymore.
• 35:03
Speaker 1: Even though we can produce cannabinoids within our body, with all of the free radicals and stressors out there, it definitely needs to be supplemented back into our system, and we got some really fun ways for you to do that.
• 35:14
Speaker 1: Yeah, should we talk about consumption now?
• 35:16
Speaker 1: I think we should.
• 35:17
  Speaker 1: That'd be great.
• 35:18
Speaker 1: Yes, let's do it.
• 35:19
Speaker 1: That was our cannabis debriefing today.
• 35:27
Speaker 1: Today, our topic, our point of interest, is consumption, and I love all plants.
• 35:33
Speaker 1: Really all herbs have these four different ways of consumption.
• 35:40
Speaker 1: Some are going to work better than others, depending on the plant, but just, I think it's really fun working with plants and how versatile they are.
• 35:54
Speaker 1: So, undo that with cannabis, you have to smoke it, because that is very far from the truth.
• 36:01
Speaker 1: You can do a lot more with it than just smoke it.
• 36:04
Speaker 1: So if you don't smoke, that's fine.
• 36:06
Speaker 1: There is a slew of other products out there that you can get your cannabinoids in.
• 36:11
Speaker 1: Wow, but you know talking about smoking.
• 36:13
Speaker 1: It's the most direct way into the bloodstream, quickest.
• 36:17
Speaker 1: Yes, so that's what happens when you take a hit it goes right into your bloodstream, so the onset is immediate.
• 36:25
Speaker 2: So here's our flower.
• 36:26
Speaker 2: Onset is immediate, so here's our flower.
• 36:34
  Speaker 1: This is cbd.
• 36:34
Speaker 2: It's not scary at all, not at all.
• 36:40
Speaker 2: They're just sweet little buds.
• 36:40
Speaker 2: We call those burly buds burly buds.
• 36:41
Speaker 2: Yes, because it's all good, these, those little sugar leaves right there.
• 36:44
Speaker 2: You see that I don't know if it's zoomed in or not.
• 36:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, lots of plant goodness on all of it.
• 36:54
Speaker 2: But yeah, you can smoke it just like that.
• 36:56
Speaker 2: You can infuse it.
• 36:58
Speaker 2: It is alcohol and fat soluble, so we like to infuse butter or coconut oil.
• 37:05
  Speaker 2: Butter for consumption.
• 37:07
Speaker 2: Coconut oil you can consume as well, but you can put that on your skin.
• 37:11
Speaker 2: Uh, we do that for the sauna.
• 37:13
  Speaker 2: Um, what else?
• 37:16
Speaker 1: Hold up, I'm still not off the smoking, oh sorry.
• 37:19
Speaker 1: So we're going to go, so, like when you smoke oh yeah, that would be edible, sorry.
• 37:23
Speaker 2: Yeah, but I start with the flower.
• 37:31
Speaker 1: The flower is amazing.
• 37:32
Speaker 1: Um, I feel like a lot of people that are really in tune with cannabis are connoisseurs, because there's so many different terpenes that are available in each different varietal and there is a lot, you know, the trichomes on there.
• 37:39
Speaker 1: That's where you get like the white, like sticky glistening on there that makes it just look so pretty.
• 37:44
Speaker 1: Some people are more attracted to, like that deep purple.
• 37:47
Speaker 1: Or I haven't seen some black buds, um, the anthroquinones that make it that deep purple and that are all, like you know, genetically uh desirable traits that pheno hunters will seek out to breed other plants with other purples.
• 38:02
Speaker 1: So they get that that black.
• 38:04
Speaker 1: Like we met, uh, sean Sean Kim.
• 38:07
Speaker 1: He's doing amazing work at the UW Extension but I feel like you're going to feel the effects most 30 minutes into your experience, right.
• 38:18
Speaker 1: So you feel it right away and then you're going to be peaking in about 30 minutes and these effects might only last one to maybe four hours until you have to take another puff and have another session to be able to feel the effects again.
• 38:32
Speaker 1: So it's not like the longest lasting, but I feel like you're going to take a quick toke when you need it the most.
• 38:40
Speaker 1: So I know a lot of my friends will use it when they wake up in the middle of the night, first of all to put them to bed right away, right, like they're gonna take a quick couple puff.
• 38:48
Speaker 1: I feel like we also offer joints that are really sessionable too.
• 38:53
Speaker 1: So these, even though they're half gram joints, you know you can feel free to light it up and smoke it, take a couple puffs and snub it out, and then, you know, light it up again when you need to.
• 39:05
Speaker 1: But we sell the pre-roll package here with you know, light it up again when you need to, uh, but we sell the pre-roll package here, um, with you know all of the third party lab testing, all the labeling requirements, the warnings, all of this, um, um, directions for consumption.
• 39:20
Speaker 1: You know storage options store in a cool, dry place, always for any plant medicine, um, but I just feel like smoking is really awesome for that.
• 39:30
Speaker 1: Those immediate effects, um, but you do need to keep smoking, yeah, and how much fun are the different ways to smoke it.
• 39:37
Speaker 1: I mean, you got, you know, your joint, which, which we offer.
• 39:41
Speaker 1: You got your flower, which you can put into a bong, a hookah, a pipe.
• 39:47
Speaker 2: I just smoked out of an apple the other day.
• 39:49
Speaker 2: That was fun, yeah.
• 39:52
Speaker 1: Toilet paper tube and that kind of stems into the dabs and the concentrates and the hashish and it's a whole wide world out there.
• 40:03
Speaker 1: Little bit of something for everybody, that's for sure.
• 40:08
Speaker 1: But just like a warning when you do, you know I love the flower because you can see what it is right, like minus.
• 40:18
Speaker 1: Maybe somebody sprayed something on that flower to make it look extra glisteny, or maybe they're reintroducing the Delta 9 to give you a more euphoric effect.
• 40:27
  Speaker 1: You don't know.
• 40:29
Speaker 1: But I mean, I feel like for the most part you see that it's flower, it probably is flower.
• 40:33
Speaker 1: If you're getting it from a reputable source, you can feel pretty confident about what it is.
• 40:37
Speaker 1: I feel like and you know I might be talking about something I don't know a ton about but the dabs and concentrates are a little intimidating for me personally because I don't know what's in them and I don't know who made them and even though it might have a pretty package and some great marketing, like I don't know where it's made.
• 40:55
Speaker 1: You could put did I go to that address?
• 40:58
Speaker 1: Like, no, like I can't like, and with people and other drugs in the in the world, they're cutting it, they're adulterating it to make the material go faster, so you really just got to be careful on your sourcing, but that's also, too, I did.
• 41:13
Speaker 1: My mom was telling me the other day about how they're, you know, lacing flour with fentanyl.
• 41:19
Speaker 2: And I was like why?
• 41:21
Speaker 1: Why would anyone do that?
• 41:23
Speaker 1: And they're like so they get hooked and I'm like woof.
• 41:25
Speaker 1: They're like so they get hooked and I'm like woof.
• 41:27
Speaker 1: That's why regulation needs to happen, friends.
• 41:29
Speaker 1: That's why we need to deschedule, legalize and decriminalize this, so we can get those standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices in order with the flower or grow your own, and then you don't have to worry about any of that stuff.
• 41:44
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 41:47
Speaker 2: Yes, Well said so.
• 41:50
Speaker 1: it's a whole wide world out there of options for the smokable, for the smokable people that want to smoke and get those effects immediately, but people that don't want to smoke.
• 42:00
Speaker 1: Now we're talking about edibles.
• 42:03
  Speaker 2: Yes, the edibles.
• 42:06
Speaker 1: One of the biggest growing segment in the industry I know in Amsterdam, like that's where it's at is like you've heard of, like the space brownies and the cookies, and it's the fastest growing segment for cannabis consumers is because anyone can eat an edible right, like I mean, yeah, I can eat the brownie, I can eat that gummy, like it's very approachable, exactly so.
• 42:28
Speaker 1: If you're a novice to cannabis and you're just kind of getting started out, you take the edible.
• 42:32
Speaker 1: But here's the thing with edibles, friends.
• 42:37
Speaker 2: Once you eat, you cannot uneat yeah.
• 42:42
Speaker 1: So, until you know you're edible, take a small bite.
• 42:46
  Speaker 1: I know it's tasty, I know it's tasty, I know it's delicious.
• 42:54
Speaker 1: I know you want to eat more, but don't, okay, just go against that, because it's not your average cookie, okay, ps, sunshine makes the best edibles.
• 43:03
Speaker 1: Everything that she infuses is absolute magic.
• 43:06
Speaker 1: My mouth just drools and salvatates just thinking about what sunshine's creations are.
• 43:11
Speaker 1: Her muffins are dynamite.
• 43:13
Speaker 1: Your canna crispies are out of this world.
• 43:15
Speaker 1: Your cookies are like to die for um, and I covet her brownies.
• 43:21
Speaker 1: I'm like I might not have it bye.
• 43:26
Speaker 2: You are so sweet.
• 43:27
Speaker 1: It's really nothing special, just the love and the cannabis and she is the lady behind the scenes making our edibles.
• 43:34
Speaker 1: Here at DNA, our best selling edible is the gummy, of course.
• 43:39
Speaker 1: I just personally love these.
• 43:41
Speaker 1: This is what I'm using every day for an edible.
• 43:44
Speaker 1: I just absolutely love our gummies.
• 43:47
Speaker 1: They taste so good.
• 43:50
Speaker 1: Uh, start with, you know, I think I've heard of people just doing like a nibble of the leaf, to be honest, like, yeah, we just go with the nibble.
• 43:56
Speaker 1: I I can, I'm set with half, I think I'm good with half, unless I'm having a day, and then I'll take a full gummy.
• 44:04
Speaker 1: Or if I'm having a real bad day, then you can take two, because it's all natural and you can't overdose on this stuff.
• 44:13
Speaker 1: So, you know, just listen to your body, be in tune with what it's communicating with you.
• 44:15
Speaker 1: Um, but you know, all of that endocannabinoid system is just to bring about balance.
• 44:17
Speaker 1: Um, so, and you know, getting off the topic of consumption, just real quick, like the top three reasons are pain, sleep and mood Top three.
• 44:26
Speaker 1: But there is like about a thousand other reasons why you could want to consume the cannabis.
• 44:33
Speaker 1: But I really like our gummies here because they have CBD and the THCA 20 milligrams of CBD and 10 milligrams of the THC to kind of give you a nice even like a one-to-one Well, that's kind of like a two-to-one actually.
• 44:47
Speaker 1: To kind of give you a nice, even like a one-to-one Well, that's kind of like a two-to-one actually, but like a real balanced experience where you're not getting like totally fried, you can still function and go about your day.
• 44:56
Speaker 1: I take mine in the morning because it keeps me focused and energized, but my loved ones will take them in the evening to help them get a full night's rest and get into their full REM sleep.
• 45:07
  Speaker 1: So I'm not a smoker.
• 45:11
  Speaker 1: I don't, I can't smoke.
• 45:12
Speaker 1: I'm just putting it out there.
• 45:13
Speaker 1: I know you're gonna be like what I?
• 45:15
Speaker 1: Just it affects my stomach, so I just choose multiple times you've tried I have tried.
• 45:21
Speaker 1: Last time you did good, though I did.
• 45:23
Speaker 2: But if it's not enjoyable, then what are you doing?
• 45:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so I just stick to what I know.
• 45:28
Speaker 1: I love my gummies.
• 45:29
Speaker 1: They taste great and I know them, so I know what to expect.
• 45:34
Speaker 1: So I don't get any like weird zingers and I don't get couch lock and I can feel all my limbs.
• 45:39
Speaker 1: I've had people say you know, we've all heard the stories of when you got too high.
• 45:44
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's out there, it's a vibe For the people that don't want to get high at all.
• 45:50
Speaker 1: That's where the CBD comes in and it's really more than CBD.
• 45:54
Speaker 1: It's really full spectrum hemp.
• 45:56
Speaker 1: Right, but this is just giving.
• 45:59
Speaker 1: It's what you don't feel with these gummies.
• 46:02
Speaker 1: So I love the hemp because it really is a vibe, not a high.
• 46:09
Speaker 1: You're just going to feel more relaxed, more present, more at ease, less stressed Maybe a little giggly.
• 46:16
  Speaker 2: That's wonderful right?
• 46:18
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 46:19
Speaker 1: But there's no euphoric effects with the hemp.
• 46:22
Speaker 1: You could literally smoke our whole field of hemp here.
• 46:28
Speaker 1: Our legally grown too legit to quit hemp and not get any euphoric effects.
• 46:33
Speaker 1: I know some people are like wah, wah, but not everybody wants to get high, some people just want to heal.
• 46:39
  Speaker 1: Yes, very true.
• 46:41
Speaker 1: So we have an option for you in that regards, because most of our line if you go on our website DNAHempLLCcom, you will see that we kind of our line.
• 46:49
Speaker 1: If you go on our website dnahempfellacycom, you will see that we kind of have, like I liked what you called it um, the I don't want to steal it for you the leaded and unleaded, oh yeah, right, like pick your own adventure, right, but I, if you hold, it up it unleaded the gas, the brake.
• 47:10
Speaker 2: I think what's nice about these two is you will get a little buzz from them.
• 47:13
Speaker 2: You know more than the cbd, but I know a lot of people are concerned about then they they get paranoid or you know like, then then they get really awkward and they're like that's no fun.
• 47:24
Speaker 2: Well, the cbd actually helps counterbalance that.
• 47:27
Speaker 2: So with with this having more CBD than THC, you're still going to feel good, a little more than the CBD, like as in enlightenment, but the CBD will help with that uncomfortable, awkward, whatever you want to call it.
• 47:42
  Speaker 2: I don't know, have you?
• 47:43
Speaker 1: been there, oh gosh.
• 47:45
  Speaker 2: Too much.
• 47:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, you ate too much.
• 47:47
Speaker 2: That's your body being like ah or melt into the couch or whatever.
• 47:52
Speaker 2: Just sleep it off.
• 47:53
Speaker 2: If you ever do, you'll be just fine.
• 47:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, do not go to the hospital.
• 47:57
Speaker 1: They can do nothing for you.
• 47:59
Speaker 2: They're going to tell you to sleep.
• 48:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, and you're going to wake up hungry, yeah, with lots of water, and sleep it off.
• 48:10
Speaker 1: Maybe find your favorite blanket, your favorite cuddle bud, and they'll talk you down and just remind yourself that everything's gonna be okay and this too shall pass.
• 48:15
Speaker 1: And if at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again, because you ate too much, yes, or you ate what you didn't.
• 48:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, you didn't know what you were eating.
• 48:24
Speaker 2: You gotta respect it.
• 48:25
Speaker 2: I mean, it is medicine, right you're not going to eat a whole bottle of Tylenol like just because you know it's not a hardcore drug or anything.
• 48:33
  Speaker 2: You're not.
• 48:34
Speaker 2: You shouldn't at least.
• 48:37
  Speaker 1: Absolutely not.
• 48:37
Speaker 1: So know your dose.
• 48:38
Speaker 1: That's why dosing is so important Exactly, you're know what you're taking.
• 48:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why I like smoking, because then I stop before you know you feel good.
• 48:52
Speaker 2: You stop, well, with the edibles if you eat it and you feel it, and you feel it and you feel it more.
• 48:57
Speaker 2: So just be very careful.
• 48:59
Speaker 2: Less is more, less is more.
• 49:02
Speaker 1: And then you can be I like you know knowing your dosing, because then you're going to be consistent every single time and if you're getting a consistent product, then you can really treat it like medicine and have that respect for the plant.
• 49:15
Speaker 1: Yes, Dosing is key, Consistency is key.
• 49:19
Speaker 1: We'll kind of get a little bit more into that when we talk about our oils I absolutely love them, but edibles, I think a lot of times too, people expect them to work right away.
• 49:28
Speaker 1: Well, they have to go and be digested.
• 49:30
  Speaker 2: You ingest it.
• 49:31
Speaker 1: you have to digest it it has to go through your kidneys and your liver.
• 49:34
Speaker 1: So make sure you give it about 60 to 90 minutes before you expect the full effects to kick in, and you'll be peaking about a couple hours in after it.
• 49:47
Speaker 1: Two to three hours.
• 49:48
Speaker 1: Edibles do last a little bit longer than smoking, so it lasts about if you find a good edible possibly six to eight hours.
• 49:55
Speaker 1: You will feel those effects kind of carry you out throughout your day, so really nice option for you.
• 50:03
Speaker 1: Also, I do love, you know, our CBD THC cause it's really hemp and the THC cause it is a full spectrum um entourage effect of all the cannabinoids.
• 50:15
Speaker 1: So, uh, at our company and our brand, uh, where we grow our own medicine and work with uh GMP manufacturers, producers that you know, do our oils, they guarantee our small batch.
• 50:28
Speaker 1: Is that too much?
• 50:30
Speaker 1: That might be another episode.
• 50:31
Speaker 1: Anywho, it's all there.
• 50:34
Speaker 1: You're working with the full plant, the whole plant synergy, and I just really think there's something to be said about, you know, using nature's gifts as she, as Mother Gaia intended you to.
• 50:45
Speaker 1: She doesn't as Mother Gaia intended you to, she doesn't want you to isolate just the D8 or just the D9 or a CBD isolate, because CBD isolate is just one single cannabinoid that's available in the plant and there's over a hundred different cannabinoids that are available in the plant and working together creates that entourage effect or that synergy that really you want to look for, to create to get the optimal use out of your substrate or what you're using.
• 51:14
Speaker 1: Oh yes, whole plant.
• 51:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, I know that was very kind of technical um, as far as broken down as I can, as I have gathered and how to explain it to people.
• 51:24
Speaker 1: Sometimes I'll be talking to people like you can just like see it like glaze over.
• 51:30
Speaker 1: I just check out halfway through.
• 51:32
  Speaker 2: Okay, yeah.
• 51:37
Speaker 1: So I'll come back.
• 51:38
Speaker 1: Do you want a gummy?
• 51:39
  Speaker 2: Yeah, gummy o'clock.
• 51:40
Speaker 2: Yeah, it is gummy o'clock.
• 51:43
Speaker 2: When we go out and lie around here, I know.
• 51:45
Speaker 1: Hey, well, we'll keep on rocking.
• 51:48
  Speaker 1: Yes, yes.
• 51:49
Speaker 1: So lots of edible options.
• 51:50
Speaker 1: Well, not only in the edible.
• 51:51
Speaker 1: You know, we're just touching on the edibles.
• 51:53
Speaker 1: What we offer at DNA Hemp 2, like Sunshine has alluded to, we infuse everything.
• 51:57
Speaker 1: So we have the coconut oil, that that you can also just like pour it down the hatch to help you align the coat of your stomach, like I do, or, you know, you can cook with that as well.
• 52:10
Speaker 1: Uh, the herbal seasoning is a great thing, to just incorporate it into your daily practice.
• 52:16
  Speaker 1: Uh, also honey.
• 52:18
  Speaker 1: Oh the honey.
• 52:20
Speaker 2: I don't even want to sell it to be honest, no, I have a hard time.
• 52:23
Speaker 2: She really does, I have a hard time.
• 52:26
Speaker 1: Whenever, like someone buys, I'm like are you gonna like?
• 52:27
Speaker 1: I'm like, are you going to?
• 52:29
Speaker 1: I'm like betting out the people that are like is this going to a good home?
• 52:32
Speaker 2: I don't think you're going to enjoy this as much as you should.
• 52:34
Speaker 2: This just isn't for you.
• 52:38
Speaker 1: I'm trying to let that go.
• 52:39
  Speaker 1: I really am.
• 52:40
Speaker 1: It's really a personal thing for me because we use the honey from our hive.
• 52:44
Speaker 1: We're beekeepers, by the way.
• 52:55
Speaker 1: That's going to be another incredible podcast.
• 52:56
Speaker 1: Hopefully we're going to have Nick Thill or maybe the Don Thill on here himself to talk about beekeeping and the importance of keeping that population alive.
• 53:00
Speaker 1: But we infuse local, unadulterated raw honey with our sun-grown organic hemp and we sell it for pennies on the dollar.
• 53:09
Speaker 1: Compared to the energy exchange, I think that's what it is actually is the energy exchange is not equal to what we're charging for it.
• 53:18
Speaker 1: And for those people yes, I just, oh sorry, sunshine's like, stay positive.
• 53:24
Speaker 1: I'm just kidding, but like for those of the people that say that our products are more expensive than others, or, you know, sometimes we're cheaper than others and like why is that?
• 53:31
Speaker 1: It's like well, I think our product, our prices, are very approachable.
• 53:36
Speaker 1: First of all, you're getting it directly from the farmer, from the source, right, and, you know, with people that are working with professionals, the best of the best in the industry.
• 53:46
Speaker 1: We're the people putting the blood, sweat and tears out in the farm fields.
• 53:50
Speaker 1: You know, growing this beautiful plant medicine.
• 53:53
Speaker 1: And then the fun doesn't end there.
• 53:56
Speaker 1: We have to now make the products and sell them.
• 53:58
Speaker 1: So I should be charging triple, just kidding.
• 54:02
Speaker 1: No, we definitely want to make it accessible for everybody.
• 54:05
Speaker 1: I mean, that was like the the.
• 54:06
Speaker 1: I mean that was like the heart piece there is to make sure that we don't price out anybody that needs this plant medicine and, honestly, like I will give you the shirt off my back If you need access to the medicine.
• 54:18
Speaker 1: Like we will work with you and we always have, you know, offering discounts on our if you're part of our High Vibe Tribe when you subscribe.
• 54:25
  Speaker 2: TNAHubOLCcom.
• 54:27
Speaker 1: But don't come to me and tell me how somebody else is cheaper.
• 54:30
Speaker 1: You can get it for a fraction of the cost, because it's not an, it's not equal.
• 54:33
Speaker 1: We not the same.
• 54:35
Speaker 2: They not like us.
• 54:36
Speaker 1: Okay, they are not like us.
• 54:37
  Speaker 1: Okay, that's what I'm getting.
• 54:38
Speaker 1: Okay, I'm sorry, sorry.
• 54:40
  Speaker 2: Sorry, Not sorry.
• 54:41
Speaker 2: You just see the or the value the value yes, Absolutely.
• 54:47
  Speaker 1: And I'm seeking.
• 54:48
Speaker 1: You know my vibe attracts my tribe and I'm seeking the other people that realize that value as well.
• 54:54
  Speaker 2: And they do.
• 54:55
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, my vibe attracts tribe.
• 54:57
Speaker 2: You guys are so amazing.
• 54:58
Speaker 2: Thank you for taking a chance on us and continuing to learn and grow with us, because without you.
• 55:04
Speaker 2: I mean what would we be doing?
• 55:06
Speaker 1: No, We'd still be doing this from the bottom of my heart.
• 55:10
Speaker 1: And then I feel like I, you know digressing from consumption, but I would not be doing what I am doing if it wasn't for you.
• 55:19
Speaker 1: I feel like God has a really funny way of showing up when sometimes I get down to myself and I have this negativity in my, in my head or people, you know just the life, and an angel shows up and says how much our plant.
• 55:36
Speaker 1: It reminds me the reason, the root of why we're doing this, and our bigger purpose out here.
• 55:44
Speaker 1: Purpose out here, and that is to use the gifts that we've been bestowed and share them and raise the consciousness, the raise the health value of the world in the best way that we know how, and that is growing really good pot and sharing it with you.
• 56:03
Speaker 1: So I honestly, if it wasn't helping people, I feel like that's also an energy exchange right.
• 56:08
Speaker 1: My intentions are pure.
• 56:10
Speaker 1: I want nothing but the highest and best for everybody that puts their heart on the line and trust their intuition and that can even give us have an open ear to what the potential could be, because that's really what it's all about for me as community and making sure that everybody's best taken care of in the best way that we know how.
• 56:31
Speaker 1: That's my, the mother hen in me yes, absolutely.
• 56:38
Speaker 1: So what else can we infuse?
• 56:39
Speaker 1: Yeah, seriously, sunshine's canna butter is the best.
• 56:46
  Speaker 2: You're so sweet it's.
• 56:47
Speaker 1: I just love it.
• 56:48
Speaker 1: I will eat everything all day and catch us at the Farm and Market for one of our sweet and tasty creations that we'll be featuring Not every time, but maybe once in a while We'll throw some zingers in there at you, yes, yes.
• 56:58
Speaker 1: So should we talk about the essence of the farm, like the farm in the bottle, the mega, mega commitment to your health and your well-being?
• 57:20
Speaker 1: Behold, oh, it's like liquid.
• 57:21
Speaker 1: And then some super easy to dose I we have a meter dropper on here that you'll be able to see exactly how much you're taking.
• 57:31
  Speaker 1: Look at that.
• 57:32
Speaker 1: Pure, clean, triple distilled.
• 57:36
Speaker 1: Distillate is what you would call it.
• 57:39
Speaker 1: That is ethanol extracted at a GMP certified lab.
• 57:44
Speaker 1: Can I Labs if a brown deer who is a third generation they used to work in pharmaceuticals but now went with plant medicine to standardize their operating procedures there that can guarantee to use our small batch hemp in their lab and make these oils?
• 58:02
Speaker 1: No, we're not the ones making the oils, but we grow the hemp that go in the oil, so it's got to count for something.
• 58:07
Speaker 1: It's a high vibe and stuff, but I love the oils.
• 58:11
Speaker 1: You put it, put it.
• 58:12
  Speaker 1: Don't speak, baby.
• 58:13
Speaker 1: You're going to put it right underneath your tongue, because that's where you're going to get the quickest absorption.
• 58:17
  Speaker 1: Ah, thank you.
• 58:21
Speaker 1: Bleep blop and then hold it there for as long as you can.
• 58:24
Speaker 1: I just bleep that going on about my day.
• 58:27
Speaker 1: Since I'm a regular, habitual cannabis user, I take a full dropper which is 40 milligrams in our 1200 milligram bottle In the 1200 milligram bottle, at 40 milligrams per serving.
• 58:40
Speaker 1: It's a 30 serving or a month supply of the oil.
• 58:44
Speaker 1: So again, just being really clear about the total milligrams of whichever oil that you're using and how much you're getting in each bowl dropper.
• 58:51
Speaker 1: You got to do math, a little bit of math there.
• 58:53
Speaker 1: I kind of break it down on the back for you, but store in a cool, dry place.
• 58:57
Speaker 1: We mix these phyto cannabinoids with a MCT coconut oil, so it's very palatable.
• 59:06
Speaker 1: It very refined, organic all organic, um, and just super great to absorb sublingually under your tongue there.
• 59:16
Speaker 1: And so I really love oils because they the onset's a little quicker, you can feel them, you know, within 15 to an hour, 15 to 60 minutes, um, you can feel the effects on there.
• 59:28
Speaker 1: You're going to peak on that in about one to two hours and these also last six to eight hours.
• 59:33
Speaker 1: So it's kind of very similar to the edible it just with the edibles you have to digest them, they have to go through your liver and your kidneys, whereas with this oil you're kind of absorbing it right under your tongue.
• 59:44
Speaker 1: So it's got, it's very it's more bioavailable, is what they would call that.
• 59:48
Speaker 2: Yes, I agree, I like taking that like um before an event of ours.
• 59:54
  Speaker 2: I get a little nervous.
• 59:55
Speaker 2: Just you know that's a lot of energy and people and talking Um, so I just put a little bit under my tongue and go about my day and I feel really good and it's not like smoking Cause then they could smell it or you know, if you're worried about that and doesn't like cheat you out right away.
• 1:00:10
Speaker 2: And yeah, like you said, the edibles for some reason those take a little longer to kick in for me.
• 1:00:16
Speaker 2: I must have a slower metabolism, so the oils are a nice option where it kind of right away, just blip, blop and go about your day.
• 1:00:24
  Speaker 1: Yes.
• 1:00:25
Speaker 2: Blip, blop, blip, blop, blop, blop.
• 1:00:27
Speaker 1: And a pro tip.
• 1:00:29
Speaker 1: A lot of the times to get in a good habit, you have to do things consistently.
• 1:00:34
Speaker 1: Keep it out on your counter, you know.
• 1:00:38
Speaker 1: If you use it before bed, you know.
• 1:00:40
Speaker 1: Put it on your nightstand so you see it before you go to bed and you can work it into your nighttime ritual.
• 1:00:45
Speaker 1: I keep mine right by my little coffee machine and I know to use it, you know, in the morning, and I just will put it, administer it and go on about my business.
• 1:00:56
Speaker 1: But consistency is key with any time consuming cannabis, because you wouldn't much like the Tylenol, you wouldn't eat the whole bottle and not know the dose, you wouldn't eat one banana and expect it to, you know, do all of its magic wonders Forever, yeah, forever.
• 1:01:14
Speaker 1: So I feel like people.
• 1:01:15
Speaker 1: A lot of times they'll be like it didn't work and we're like, well, how much did you use?
• 1:01:19
Speaker 1: I don't know how many times did you use it, once, once, and I'm like, oh my gosh.
• 1:01:25
Speaker 1: I actually don't mean to poke fun of anyone because I know they just don't know.
• 1:01:30
  Speaker 1: And that's why we're here.
• 1:01:31
Speaker 1: But I was like how much did you use?
• 1:01:34
Speaker 1: And they're like a single drop and I was like, oh my gosh, if you could feel and I also so flip side of that, I had someone say they could feel that single drop your mind is a very powerful thing, right?
• 1:01:48
Speaker 1: It's the placebo or nocebo effect.
• 1:01:50
Speaker 1: So I feel like, first of all, when you're going into any plant medicine, any holistic healing, you honestly have to believe on a cellular level that it's going to work.
• 1:02:00
  Speaker 1: If you don't, it won't.
• 1:02:02
Speaker 1: Yes, Go into it with a positive mindset.
• 1:02:04
Speaker 1: If you don't believe that it's going to work, if you don't see some positive, if you don't believe that it's going to work, if you don't see some like positive, if you don't see the potential in it, it doesn't matter what you get or how much you take of it, it's not.
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: It's not going to work for you.
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: So go into it with an open mind.
• 1:02:19
Speaker 1: It's very, very important and um know that it's just not going to work one and done.
• 1:02:24
Speaker 1: Some people have to consistently use this plant medicine for up to a month, for up to 30 days, to feel the full effects of it.
• 1:02:33
Speaker 2: I feel like that's a lot of prescriptions.
• 1:02:35
Speaker 2: They're always, like you know, get to give it a 30 day and then you circle back and see how you do, and maybe even 60 sometimes.
• 1:02:42
Speaker 2: But yeah, you got to give it a chance and if you don't, it's not flavored.
• 1:02:46
Speaker 2: So it's just the organic mct oil and the phyto cannabinoids and if you don't like the flavor, you can put it.
• 1:02:51
Speaker 2: I don't know if you said that put it in your tea or your your coffee or your smoothie.
• 1:02:55
Speaker 2: Um it, there's really not a taste, but I know some people don't really like the oily feeling in their mouth.
• 1:03:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, texture is a vibe.
• 1:03:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so smoothie yeah, I love putting it in the smoothie yeah, it's just to elevate the smoothie.
• 1:03:11
Speaker 1: Yes, because it's fat soluble, so anything with the fat, like creams, it'll attach to those lipids and and be really bioavailable for you.
• 1:03:21
Speaker 1: So, um, I know at cheryl's we were making them drinks and it was like a gin and chronic we called it and we would like layer on the top and some people like that because they could see it.
• 1:03:30
Speaker 1: They knew it was in there.
• 1:03:31
Speaker 1: I mean, if that's working for you, that's awesome.
• 1:03:33
Speaker 2: But mostly like creamy things.
• 1:03:35
Speaker 2: You want to think?
• 1:03:36
Speaker 1: creamy when you put it in there, because then it won't like be like an oil, oil and water new mix.
• 1:03:40
Speaker 1: So just keep it.
• 1:03:42
Speaker 2: Just keep that in mind or give it a good shake real quick and then drink it.
• 1:03:44
Speaker 1: You'll be fine yes, so there's all, but again, like, I feel like then you have to digest it.
• 1:03:49
Speaker 1: Yes, right, so it's not going to be the onset, but you will be consuming it and that's important.
• 1:03:55
Speaker 2: Yes, and with the oils we have the broad and the full, just like the no.
• 1:04:06
Speaker 2: No, we don't have a broad um.
• 1:04:08
Speaker 2: The broad, this one right here, this white label, this is tea free.
• 1:04:14
Speaker 2: So for those friends who don't care for the thc or are not allowed to, whether it be for work or, you know, personal preference, we do have an option.
• 1:04:25
Speaker 2: That's our only product that has absolutely no thc, because right here in wisconsin we're allowed to grow with 0.3 delta 9 thc.
• 1:04:33
Speaker 2: So all of our products do have that 0.3, except for this broad spectrum um.
• 1:04:39
Speaker 2: The effects are very similar, just less risk, if that is what you're worried about.
• 1:04:47
  Speaker 2: Um.
• 1:04:48
Speaker 2: And then we have the 1,200 and 2,400 milligrams.
• 1:04:51
Speaker 2: So about a half a dropper of the 2,400 milligram would be a full dropper of the 12, right.
• 1:04:59
Speaker 1: Yes, that's 80 milligrams, full dropper, full of the 2,400.
• 1:05:05
Speaker 1: So it's like shopping at Costco.
• 1:05:06
Speaker 1: You're like buying in bulk?
• 1:05:07
Speaker 1: Yeah, of the 2400.
• 1:05:11
Speaker 1: So it's like shopping at costco.
• 1:05:11
Speaker 1: You're like buying in bulk, yeah.
• 1:05:12
Speaker 1: And some people, I feel like 80 milligrams, speaking of dosing, is like your max yeah, I wouldn't take more than that.
• 1:05:15
Speaker 1: These people would like that are coming.
• 1:05:18
Speaker 1: We're like we hear all it all right, and they're like I just ate 200 milligrams.
• 1:05:23
  Speaker 1: I'm like what?
• 1:05:24
  Speaker 1: like why they.
• 1:05:26
Speaker 1: You know, and you know research is limited, but people generally that are using upwards to 80 milligrams have like chronic disease and illness or cancer patients.
• 1:05:39
Speaker 1: So don't say listen to your body, it'll let you know when you had too much, but always less is more.
• 1:05:47
Speaker 1: We always say with anything low and slow, ease into it for sure.
• 1:05:48
Speaker 1: Don't say listen to your body, it'll let you know when you had too much, but always less is more.
• 1:05:48
Speaker 1: We always say with anything low and slow, ease into it for sure, into it.
• 1:05:53
Speaker 1: Not to mention too, um, just putting it out there that cannabis is on a bell curve, so you want to keep your thresholds lower.
• 1:06:03
Speaker 1: I know this is kind of controversial and some people will say other things, you know, based on some science, but generally it is on a bell curve.
• 1:06:13
Speaker 1: So you want to keep your threshold really low because generally you are going to have to start using more and more and more to still get your desired effects and then you're going to top out.
• 1:06:23
Speaker 1: You're going to be like, oh my gosh, I'm using two droppers full and I'm still not feeling it.
• 1:06:27
  Speaker 1: What do I?
• 1:06:28
  Speaker 1: Do you?
• 1:06:28
Speaker 1: Either A pump, hit the gas and add some THC to it to kind of accelerate those feelings or take a break for a month or so, if health permitting.
• 1:06:41
Speaker 1: There's a ton of other herbs that you can use out there as well while you're kind of on your hiatus.
• 1:06:46
Speaker 1: But it's okay to take a break and kind of bring back down your threshold.
• 1:06:51
Speaker 1: Detox before you retox.
• 1:06:54
  Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
• 1:06:55
Speaker 2: And it doesn't have to be a month.
• 1:06:56
Speaker 2: Even a couple of days will help.
• 1:06:58
  Speaker 1: Yeah, depending.
• 1:06:59
Speaker 1: I mean everyone's different, depending on your consumption.
• 1:07:01
Speaker 2: Yeah, there's lots of.
• 1:07:03
  Speaker 1: A fasting.
• 1:07:04
Speaker 1: Let's just say you can fast from it and then pick it right, pick it back up and then keep going, keep kind of building on that and I feel like, if you're like me, I I don't even know I, I this is terrible to say I feel like I use it.
• 1:07:19
Speaker 1: It's so much in my daily life, you know, in my olive oil, my herbal seasoning, in my gummies, I put it in my so so I'm like yeah, I have no idea what my dose is.
• 1:07:30
Speaker 1: But we're very in tune with our bodies and we're listening to our bodies and we know.
• 1:07:34
Speaker 1: We know what to expect.
• 1:07:37
Speaker 1: You got to find your sweet spot.
• 1:07:38
Speaker 1: Yes, and every body is different, yeah.
• 1:07:42
Speaker 2: Yes, and every day could be different.
• 1:07:44
Speaker 2: I mean, depending on how much you ate, depending on how much you slept, you know, are you taking other medications as well?
• 1:07:51
Speaker 2: There's just so many factors to play in there.
• 1:07:53
Speaker 2: So you really got to listen and stay in tune with your body and respect the cannabis as medicine, because that's what it truly is.
• 1:08:02
  Speaker 1: Absolutely Amen.
• 1:08:06
Speaker 1: I also wanted to, uh, just kind of put out there with the broad spectrum too.
• 1:08:10
Speaker 1: I have a lot of my mommy friends that are choosing this alternative for their children, since it it has a 0.0 thc, so we can like 100 guarantee that if you are stringently drug tested, you will this will not turn up hot for your test.
• 1:08:27
Speaker 1: You can still keep your, your job, um, or for your children too, if you don't want them even you know if you're, if you want to respect that um with with the law, that is a great option for children to get their daily dose of cannabinoids, and they absolutely love it and they'll keep asking more for it, and you can find different creative ways to get it into their system if they're not totally down with it under their tongue right away.
• 1:08:52
Speaker 1: You got to like kind of work your way up to that commitment, but you can get there.
• 1:08:56
Speaker 1: I know a lot of ADHD is a big one where they're like they don't want plants, they want to use plants and not pills, and so or people that are, you know, going through a tough time and this could just be a little tool in the toolbox to aid them get past.
• 1:09:12
Speaker 1: This too shall pass.
• 1:09:13
Speaker 1: So I love the broad spectrum for, um, for, for, for the children as well, because they are I'll ask our object.
• 1:09:22
  Speaker 1: They're a vertebrae species.
• 1:09:23
Speaker 1: They have an endocannabinoid system too, Just like our fur babies.
• 1:09:27
  Speaker 1: I gotta I to throw her up Rooby-dooby, Rooby-dooby.
• 1:09:31
Speaker 1: She uses our oil, our Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil, every day on her food.
• 1:09:39
Speaker 1: Of course, now she is only five pounds, so she just needs a couple drops of that and she is going to feel the effects on that.
• 1:09:47
Speaker 1: But all five pounds of her.
• 1:09:48
Speaker 1: But maybe that's why she's so chill, she's so cute.
• 1:09:57
Speaker 1: But she also has a very shiny coat and she gets.
• 1:09:58
Speaker 1: She's nine years old, so she's an elder.
• 1:10:00
Speaker 1: She's the oldest one in my home, actually nine times seven and uh, she gets around really good.
• 1:10:06
Speaker 1: So I feel like she is still like a spring chicken out there and I like to say that that wild Alaskan salmon oil, rich in omega threes and omega six, she is really good for her joints and her skin is shiny and her breath isn't so great, though.
• 1:10:23
Speaker 1: I must say she does have fish breath.
• 1:10:25
Speaker 1: She likes it, she loves it, she gobbles it, she gobbles it down and she's super chill and in really good health and I expect to have her around for another nine years.
• 1:10:34
  Speaker 1: Yes, I hope, I pray.
• 1:10:36
Speaker 1: Yes, she's such a sweet little blessing.
• 1:10:39
Speaker 1: So that's all our oils.
• 1:10:41
Speaker 1: We talked about the difference between the broad spectrum and the full spectrum.
• 1:10:44
Speaker 1: Full spectrum, again, having all the cannabinoids, including that 0.3% THC.
• 1:10:50
Speaker 1: Broad spectrum is all the cannabinoids just minus that single cannabinoid, thc, at a 0.0%.
• 1:10:57
Speaker 1: What they do in the lab is they just isolate that single cannabinoid and yike it out of there, so as an undesirable cannabinoid, which is fine in this application.
• 1:11:09
Speaker 1: Then they probably throw it in something else.
• 1:11:16
Speaker 1: Our last way of consumption, but certainly not least, I feel like this is a really approachable way for people to get a first experience, our first taste of medicine, and it has so many different applications.
• 1:11:32
Speaker 1: Our topicals yes, so your skin is your biggest organ, right, and it can absorb the plant medicine.
• 1:11:44
  Speaker 1: Now is it.
• 1:11:44
Speaker 1: You know you're going to feel the effects immediately.
• 1:11:46
Speaker 1: The plant medicine Now is it, you know, you're going to feel the effects immediately.
• 1:11:48
Speaker 1: The peak, you know, varies for this and the duration isn't very long.
• 1:11:54
Speaker 1: You do have to reapply religiously Just kidding, I mean for a couple hours just like you would any cream.
• 1:12:01
Speaker 1: This balm in particular, I'd like to.
• 1:12:02
Speaker 1: You know it'll blow biofreeze right out the water.
• 1:12:07
Speaker 1: I mean you won't look back after you use our balm.
• 1:12:10
  Speaker 1: I replaced my.
• 1:12:10
Speaker 2: Bix with it as well, for sure.
• 1:12:13
Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, yeah, right on your chest, there underneath your nostrils, just don't get it in your eyeballs.
• 1:12:18
  Speaker 1: No, it burns.
• 1:12:18
Speaker 1: Don't get it on your balls either.
• 1:12:20
Speaker 1: It has menthol in there and camphor, so that is going to create a burning sensation that will not be pleasurable.
• 1:12:27
Speaker 1: Or so that is going to create a burning sensation that will not be pleasurable, or it might be, but I love this body balm.
• 1:12:31
Speaker 1: It is like one of our top sellers.
• 1:12:33
Speaker 1: I know you already put it up there, but, being careful, you can put it right on your temples too, and that has been known to take away migraines and headaches, helps with sunburn for your skin, kind of calms all that down Any rashes Bug bites, bug bites, bug bites.
• 1:12:50
Speaker 1: It's like an anti histamine right Bee stings.
• 1:12:56
Speaker 2: It's been a life saver Some on your back and your neck.
• 1:13:01
  Speaker 1: That's my favorite.
• 1:13:02
Speaker 2: I like it when it's real hot and helps cool down, or after yoga or something to help.
• 1:13:08
  Speaker 1: Right before yoga?
• 1:13:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, because that's where all your nerve endings are, in the back of your neck, so it kind of kind of ignites all of that up into your cranium, should you say the bottom of your feet, oh, and move your footsies you're feeling like a cold coming on or Bruising.
• 1:13:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, sore spots Any pain?
• 1:13:30
Speaker 1: Slather and lather this luxurious body balm all over.
• 1:13:36
  Speaker 1: It's super concentrated.
• 1:13:38
Speaker 1: Our body balm has 1,200 milligrams.
• 1:13:41
Speaker 1: Why, we don't know In one ounce, just kidding, like in one ounce.
• 1:13:45
  Speaker 1: We wanted it.
• 1:13:46
Speaker 1: We're getting it from the far world.
• 1:13:47
Speaker 1: Let's give the people what they want.
• 1:13:48
Speaker 1: Let's make it super concentrated.
• 1:13:49
Speaker 1: We want to make sure they can feel this, because I hate when people say I don't like it.
• 1:13:53
  Speaker 1: We're like.
• 1:13:55
  Speaker 2: I couldn't feel it.
• 1:13:56
Speaker 2: Like you won't feel it, you're going to feel this one, yeah.
• 1:14:02
Speaker 1: You're going to get your money's worth and it just flip over that cap and it's a whole new world underneath there.
• 1:14:06
  Speaker 1: It's like a deodorant.
• 1:14:07
Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you pretty, rachie, for pointing that one out.
• 1:14:09
Speaker 1: We were like oh, no way that's awesome, but our essential oils in this also are huge aids to the healing benefit of this body balm.
• 1:14:27
Speaker 2: We went with a grounding blend, just to help.
• 1:14:28
Speaker 2: You know, cannabis is known for its relaxation and we thought the grounding.
• 1:14:29
Speaker 2: Blend would help accelerate that.
• 1:14:35
Speaker 1: Anything with frankincense in there?
• 1:14:36
Speaker 1: Right, yeah, frankincense, you know it's legit.
• 1:14:38
Speaker 2: Blue tansy, blue chamomile.
• 1:14:40
Speaker 1: Howards Spruce, uke Elliptus.
• 1:14:44
Speaker 2: Osmanthus, ooh and vitamin E as well, jehovah, beeswax, andax and of course our hemp, and then the menthol.
• 1:14:55
  Speaker 1: It's a household item.
• 1:14:56
Speaker 1: I think every, every household should have it.
• 1:14:58
Speaker 1: You know that my, my kids love it.
• 1:14:59
Speaker 1: They go to it, they ask for it.
• 1:15:01
Speaker 1: They know it helps and it's like for everything.
• 1:15:03
Speaker 1: It'll be like mom, my ankle put the balm on it, but now they just know to use the balm.
• 1:15:09
Speaker 1: So in every single room, like my bedroom has one, uh, nixon's bedroom has one, nevaeh's bedroom has one.
• 1:15:14
Speaker 1: We have one right before you leave the door too, in case you need to bring one in your car or whatever you have, I have my daughter's friends asking for some.
• 1:15:22
  Speaker 2: That's amazing.
• 1:15:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, see they know, and they're such intuitive little beings that it hasn't beat out of them yet.
• 1:15:28
Speaker 1: So I mean, they just know they're our biggest fans, just love them.
• 1:15:32
Speaker 1: But that's not the only topical.
• 1:15:34
Speaker 1: We have a ton of other topicals.
• 1:15:35
Speaker 1: There's a ton of different variety out there.
• 1:15:37
Speaker 1: It's just never ending.
• 1:15:38
Speaker 1: Chapstick is made with so much love and good intentions.
• 1:15:44
Speaker 1: All of our products are Reiki charged, by the way.
• 1:15:46
Speaker 2: All of our products are Reiki charged, by the way, and they're green because there is plant matter, but they rub in clear yes, so don't be scared, and that chapstick that peppermint lip balm is using a full spectrum.
• 1:15:55
Speaker 1: That is using our beeswax from our hive, which is amazing, or the Philz hives too, because we collaborate with them.
• 1:16:03
Speaker 1: It's our bee mentors, but I absolutely love that chapstick.
• 1:16:10
  Speaker 2: It's a great blend.
• 1:16:11
Speaker 1: There's shea butter, coconut oil, avocado oil, castor oil, vitamin E and peppermint essential oil and honey, yes, and you can really use that too, as you know a skin, treating your skin too.
• 1:16:23
Speaker 1: I mean, it's like a mini balm minus the menthol.
• 1:16:25
Speaker 2: If I don't have the balm with me, I'll use this in a pinch, like dry hands or whatever, yeah.
• 1:16:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, like I know, it gets real dry in the winter.
• 1:16:34
  Speaker 1: Yeah, Mm-hmm.
• 1:16:35
Speaker 1: Oh, also, you know eczema and psoriasis too.
• 1:16:39
Speaker 1: Mm-hmm, it's excellent, for it can almost like treat it just in and out of itself.
• 1:16:43
  Speaker 1: It's just.
• 1:16:43
Speaker 1: If you consistently use the body balm, it's absolutely amazing.
• 1:16:46
Speaker 1: Or the lip balm, or we infuse a castor oil too.
• 1:16:50
Speaker 1: I know we dubbed it as a lip gloss, but I'm finding out that castor oil is like a whole vibe in and of itself.
• 1:16:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, Sunshine may or may not put it on her belly button.
• 1:16:59
  Speaker 1: Yeah, do it.
• 1:17:01
  Speaker 2: I dare you.
• 1:17:03
Speaker 1: I've done it, you can't really.
• 1:17:05
Speaker 2: I mean, I don't feel anything in particular, but like I don't know why not.
• 1:17:10
Speaker 2: Castor oil is great for your skin.
• 1:17:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, I was, like it feels good on my skin.
• 1:17:13
Speaker 1: Anyways, it's absolutely awesome, it's like emu oil, but like more effective.
• 1:17:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, so love that.
• 1:17:19
Speaker 1: And then we have a roller ball too, and you can slather and lather.
• 1:17:22
Speaker 1: We even have a refresh yourself mist as a topical.
• 1:17:27
Speaker 1: I love this refresher miss.
• 1:17:32
Speaker 1: I'm gonna use some right now, don't mind me, would you like some?
• 1:17:37
  Speaker 2: yes, thank you.
• 1:17:38
Speaker 1: That's my favorite after the workout oh, yeah, yeah, with the witch hazel, rosewater, aloe vera juice, hemp seed oil, frank Coppola, which is like nature's hemp pretty much, but like legal, not all the red tape and hoops, myrrh and ylang-ylang essential oils.
• 1:17:55
Speaker 2: It's got a biblical blend in there.
• 1:17:58
Speaker 1: It's with a cross on the label to prove it.
• 1:18:00
Speaker 1: But the refresher mist is part of our skincare collection, in which we also inf uh body oil and a facial serum as well, so you have to check those out.
• 1:18:14

• 1:20:45
Speaker 1: Yes, ur Erta Diocia is the Latin name, and it's just a really powerful astringent, so it just brings all the tissues together when you put it on the skin and helps reduce inflammation.
• 1:20:58
Speaker 1: That's why they call it nature's Botox, because it's really tightening the tissues and infusing it with that folic acid Mm-hmm.
• 1:21:07
Speaker 2: Which is huge right now in all the beauty products.
• 1:21:09
Speaker 2: I see it all the time online.
• 1:21:12
Speaker 1: Do you want to bust out the book and just kind of like when you read the uses of stinging nettle which is out here?
• 1:21:18
Speaker 1: It's coming up all over, guys, and now is the time to wildcraft, forage, harvest it.
