- 0:01Speaker 1: What's up, everybody? We're back to the Stay Out of
- 0:03Speaker 1: My Fridge podcast. Thanksgiving is over and our fridge is
- 0:07Speaker 1: our full and our bellies still a little bit full.
- 0:12Speaker 1: At the time of the recording, you're probably wondering, who's here,
- 0:15Speaker 1: who's wee? Are you guys turning French? No, just French fries.
- 0:19Speaker 1: But the voice you're hearing, it's me, It's mad. It's
- 0:21Speaker 1: Beard laws En joining me again this week, the one
- 0:24Speaker 1: the only Ah, what's up girl really now? Which is
- 0:31Speaker 1: weird because this is the only day I think we've
- 0:33Speaker 1: had off in a very long time, and it's been good,
- 0:37Speaker 1: just chilling, relaxing.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Actually, I played in the snow and I played with
- 0:41Speaker 2: Avery a lot.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Yep, a lot of playing, a lot of chilling. You're
- 0:45Speaker 1: coming off a cold, which is good. And I got
- 0:50Speaker 1: a little bit of a cold. Ma he's got a
- 0:53Speaker 1: little bit of a cold. Avery's got a little bit
- 0:55Speaker 1: of a cold. Sissy got out of her cold. Yeah,
- 0:57Speaker 1: so we're getting there.
- 0:59Speaker 2: 'tis this?
- 1:00Speaker 1: And they say, but obviously you're hearing this. You're hearing
- 1:04Speaker 1: some coffin, some sniffling. It's okay, it's cold season. We
- 1:08Speaker 1: already we were just talking about it, but we survived Thanksgiving? Right, Yes,
- 1:13Speaker 1: Isla's still forty percent cranberries, thirty percent dessert, and one
- 1:18Speaker 1: percent punkin pie.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Right. I didn't eat any pumpkin pie.
- 1:22Speaker 1: You had no pumpkin pie. No, un believable. Let's give
- 1:26Speaker 1: a little bit of a recap of Thanksgiving? What was
- 1:31Speaker 1: what was good? What was what was not so good?
- 1:34Speaker 1: What'd you think that it was good? Yeah? What was good?
- 1:39Speaker 2: I got to hang out with my cousin.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Mm hmm. Let's not wiggle the camera because then the
- 1:45Speaker 1: viewers are gonna think they're on a pirate ship with
- 1:47Speaker 1: it wiggle and wiggle and wiggling, and our listeners only
- 1:51Speaker 1: I aren't gonna hear it. But Ila was shaking the camera.
- 1:54Speaker 1: That was making me dizzy. So I'm sorry viewers on
- 1:57Speaker 1: the YouTube. She was messing with you. She was trying
- 1:59Speaker 1: to make you feel full, like you just got doney
- 2:01Speaker 1: and Thanksgiving. So she's there, she's hanging out with some cousins.
- 2:05Speaker 1: What else?
- 2:05Speaker 2: I had a lot of food.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Tell us your plate one trip, two trip, three trip,
- 2:10Speaker 1: two trips, two trips. Tell us your plate number one.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Plate number one. I had cranberry cranberry fluff, a cookie,
- 2:18Speaker 2: and I had Evelyn's grinch punch.
- 2:22Speaker 1: You put that on your plate? Would you put that
- 2:24Speaker 1: on your plate?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Cut?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Well, I was just talking about your plate. So you
- 2:27Speaker 1: have cranberry, a dessert that is Cranberry's and a cookie
- 2:31Speaker 1: which is more dessert. That was your Thanksgiving dinner. Huh,
- 2:35Speaker 1: No meat, no vegetables, had.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Crackers and cheese. And I had the eggs, those deviled eggs,
- 2:43Speaker 2: my Grandma's doubles eggs, which is eggs under olive for me.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Gross, So pretty healthy plate. What was plate number two?
- 2:51Speaker 2: Graz cranberry pluff and a cookie.
- 2:54Speaker 1: So you just did the same plate twice, so good.
- 2:56Speaker 1: First time you had to go with another one. Hey,
- 2:57Speaker 1: if it's not broken, then'll fix it. I went a
- 3:00Speaker 1: lot of the opposite. I went turkey, turkey, ham, more ham,
- 3:06Speaker 1: little extra ham. And then there was a roast that
- 3:09Speaker 1: was like a beef with roasted carrots and a nice
- 3:12Speaker 1: little gravy. I went, oht meat. I had no mashed potatoes,
- 3:16Speaker 1: I had no bread, no stuffing, none of that, just
- 3:19Speaker 1: all meat. That ham was unbelievable. It was so good.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You got to pop up the energy. You need some
- 3:26Speaker 1: coffee or something. You're falling asleep over there in the
- 3:29Speaker 1: studio chair. Wake up, let's go, we're recording.
- 3:31Speaker 2: We're live.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Just because you think you just ate a Thanksgiving dinner
- 3:36Speaker 1: and you're ready for a nap. Who was the first
- 3:37Speaker 1: one to fall asleep after Thanksgiving? After they ate some food?
- 3:41Speaker 1: You do you remember? Were you too busy playing? Do
- 3:43Speaker 1: you remember? Did you see anybody fall asleep? Grandpa? Grandpa
- 3:48Speaker 1: passed out on the couch. Then right next to him
- 3:53Speaker 1: the turkey MVP Cool barn Cat took a little nap
- 3:57Speaker 1: right next to him, and I think cousin Henry took
- 4:00Speaker 1: off for a little bit and took a little nap too,
- 4:03Speaker 1: he did. Yeah, who do you think ate the most
- 4:05Speaker 1: at Thanksgiving? You think so? I don't know. Henry did
- 4:09Speaker 1: some work. He was so full. He said his backer
- 4:12Speaker 1: must have been from all the shoveling of the food.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I know he said it. He told me, he goes,
- 4:18Speaker 2: you made my back?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Why would you do to him?
- 4:21Speaker 2: And didn't do anything. He just likes to play with me.
- 4:25Speaker 1: All right, Well, let's give our Thanksgiving report cards. We're
- 4:29Speaker 1: gonna give him just a report card. We're gonna go
- 4:31Speaker 1: a it's like the one hundred to ninety B, C,
- 4:34Speaker 1: D or F. Why don't they use the E when
- 4:38Speaker 1: they great things? You can get an A, A, B,
- 4:41Speaker 1: A C, A D or an F. Why can't you
- 4:43Speaker 1: get an E?
- 4:44Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 4:44Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 4:45Speaker 2: That could be an excellent I know, but.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It would be really bad. Anyways, let's rank him. Let's
- 4:51Speaker 1: go with the turkey, the all star of the show.
- 4:53Speaker 1: What would you rank an A, B, C, D F.
- 4:56Speaker 2: The turkey?
- 4:57Speaker 1: Your little turkey? What are you ranking it? D? How
- 5:01Speaker 1: can you even rank it? You didn't even have any Oh? Wait,
- 5:08Speaker 1: you are out of control, thrown around in F for
- 5:10Speaker 1: the turkey. Uncle Barncat, Grandma aunt Jill are going to
- 5:14Speaker 1: be so said that you rank their turkey and F?
- 5:17Speaker 1: I'm giving it an A. It was so moist, it
- 5:21Speaker 1: was so good. It was so good. I had to
- 5:23Speaker 1: have seconds of the turkey. All right, you didn't try
- 5:27Speaker 1: the ham, but the ham was the real star. In
- 5:29Speaker 1: my opinion, I'm more ham over turkey. That ham was
- 5:32Speaker 1: an A plus kid, so good? Do you try an ham? No?
- 5:38Speaker 1: All right, let's go with cranberries. How was the cranberries?
- 5:41Speaker 1: Be realistic? I mean, if you're giving it an A,
- 5:43Speaker 1: it's one of the best cranberries you've ever had to
- 5:47Speaker 1: b Yeah, what made it to be? This wasn't your brand, wasn't.
- 5:50Speaker 2: It wasn't the best I've ever had. But it was good.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, I didn't have any so I can't give
- 5:56Speaker 1: it a fair grade. But it's always going to be
- 5:58Speaker 1: an f for me because I just don't like it.
- 6:00Speaker 1: So it's not fair for me to give it a
- 6:01Speaker 1: failure just because I don't like it. So I'm skipping
- 6:03Speaker 1: on my cranberry ranking. Let's go with the cranberry fluff
- 6:07Speaker 1: which you made. Tell the people how you made. You
- 6:09Speaker 1: want to give out your recipe? Is it a secret?
- 6:11Speaker 2: I'll give it out. So you take cranberries, make it,
- 6:15Speaker 2: get a big bull, dump the cranberry in the bowl,
- 6:19Speaker 2: mash it up like wit until it's like smooth. Well,
- 6:24Speaker 2: leave a little bit of chunks, but don't like make
- 6:26Speaker 2: it so it's like completely chunky. You gotta make it
- 6:29Speaker 2: little chunks but a little smooth. Then take the take
- 6:32Speaker 2: a whole can of cool whip, put the whole can in,
- 6:36Speaker 2: whisk it, well, not whisk it, like fold it, and
- 6:41Speaker 2: then like mix it a little bit and then you
- 6:44Speaker 2: got some of soft some cranberry fluff. Well, you can
- 6:47Speaker 2: add like pineapple or whatever you want.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Fair, Okay, would you rank your first go at cranberry fluff?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Ay? It was really good.
- 6:56Speaker 1: A lot of people liked it. I tried it. I'm
- 6:58Speaker 1: not a cranberry fan. I'm not a fluff fan, and
- 7:01Speaker 1: I thought it was pretty good. It's a B for
- 7:03Speaker 1: me only because I've never had better and I've never
- 7:07Speaker 1: had worse, So you know what I mean, I can't
- 7:09Speaker 1: go right out with an A and the next thing,
- 7:10Speaker 1: you know, I try it and there's one better out there,
- 7:12Speaker 1: and maybe there's one worse, and then I could bump that.
- 7:15Speaker 1: So for me, it's a bee, which is good.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:17Speaker 1: You take bees in school, won't you?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Yeah? Right?
- 7:20Speaker 1: What about Evelyn's punch? You said you had a little
- 7:22Speaker 1: bit of that seemed to go over pretty well. What
- 7:26Speaker 1: would you rank it? I didn't have any again, so
- 7:29Speaker 1: I have to skip the rankings on them. See why
- 7:32Speaker 1: was that a C?
- 7:33Speaker 2: Because I don't like carbonation. It was like a soda.
- 7:36Speaker 1: True, there's definitely some kind of soda in the punch.
- 7:40Speaker 1: It was a really interesting green color as well, kind
- 7:44Speaker 1: of looked like slimer showed up to the party and
- 7:46Speaker 1: was like, hey, have some of me on Thanksgiving, some
- 7:50Speaker 1: slumber juice, dessert cookies, anything else. You want a rank
- 7:53Speaker 1: or you want to just move on. My cookies, my
- 7:55Speaker 1: cookies them tell the people what you made? No baked cookies,
- 8:01Speaker 1: no bake cookies. Now what doesn't mean to know that
- 8:04Speaker 1: to make a no bake cookie? What if somebody's just
- 8:06Speaker 1: listened to be like, no bake cookies, what is she
- 8:08Speaker 1: talking about? Sir Jan well yas Sir Yan's a lot
- 8:11Speaker 1: over there?
- 8:11Speaker 2: Can I explain how to make them?
- 8:13Speaker 1: Explain what a no bake cookie is, and then you
- 8:16Speaker 1: can explain how to make them if you want.
- 8:17Speaker 2: It's got like peanut butter and oatmeal, and like.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Well that's your There's several different kinds of no bakes.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Do you know what a no bake cookie is? No,
- 8:27Speaker 1: so a no baked cookie means there's no baking means
- 8:32Speaker 1: now traditional cookies you have to turn on the oven,
- 8:34Speaker 1: you got to put them in there, which reminds me
- 8:36Speaker 1: we didn't make the cookies we were supposed to make
- 8:37Speaker 1: for dessert today. We'll have to maybe do them earlier
- 8:40Speaker 1: in the week. But those cookies that you bought that
- 8:42Speaker 1: we were gonna cook. You got to put the oven
- 8:45Speaker 1: on and then cook the cookies, right, did you? So
- 8:48Speaker 1: you don't have to bake these, so it's a just.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Let them sit out, so it's a no baked cookie.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Yes, all right, all right, So explain what you made
- 8:57Speaker 1: the ingredients and how you made these cookies that didn't
- 9:00Speaker 1: need to be baked.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Are you sugar, peanut butter, oatmeal? I'm trying to think
- 9:07Speaker 2: of what else I put in there?
- 9:09Speaker 1: Is that it probably some oatmeal? They said oatmeal, sugar,
- 9:13Speaker 1: peanut butter, oatmeal. I didn't make them.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Well, I don't really know if there's done anything else,
- 9:17Speaker 2: but you can look up a recipe.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yeah, just yeah, peanut butter, no baked oatmeal, peanut butter cookies.
- 9:24Speaker 1: They were pretty good at your grandpa's favorite. And did
- 9:27Speaker 1: he sneak one before.
- 9:29Speaker 2: He tried it? And he goes, who.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Those are his favorite? Right?
- 9:33Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 9:33Speaker 1: Yeah? And he said you did him pretty good. He
- 9:35Speaker 1: did say that the consistency was a little bit off
- 9:40Speaker 1: for his liking in the way he makes them, which
- 9:42Speaker 1: I think potentially we didn't let him sit out long
- 9:45Speaker 1: enough because the dogs, we can't really just leave them
- 9:47Speaker 1: out there or Biggie would have just had a field
- 9:50Speaker 1: day eaten peanut butter oatmeal cookies. So I think we
- 9:52Speaker 1: had to let them rest or let them, you know,
- 9:55Speaker 1: form a little bit more. And I think maybe that
- 9:57Speaker 1: was what he was saying, or maybe our recipe was
- 9:59Speaker 1: just a little bit off miss, But overall I don't
- 10:03Speaker 1: normally like them. They're pretty good. There were a B
- 10:06Speaker 1: plus for me.
- 10:08Speaker 2: We still have some of them. I've been eating them
- 10:10Speaker 2: one like every day.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Yeah you have, what would you rank them? Then?
- 10:14Speaker 2: Ay? They were really good.
- 10:16Speaker 1: They're really good. They're pretty good. They're pretty good. They're
- 10:19Speaker 1: pretty really good, really pretty good. All right, we are
- 10:23Speaker 1: gonna do a Gobble Gobble lightning round fast answers, no thinking, Okay,
- 10:29Speaker 1: you have to say the first thing that comes to
- 10:31Speaker 1: your brain as quick as you can. And obviously it's
- 10:35Speaker 1: Gobble Gobble edition. So it's going to be about Thanksgiving,
- 10:38Speaker 1: all right? So ye are you ready? And then after
- 10:41Speaker 1: this maybe just maybe we're going to transition into something different,
- 10:46Speaker 1: a different kind of holiday season. Are you ready?
- 10:49Speaker 2: I know, a different kind of holiday season.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Lightning round quick answers. Are you ready?
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yep?
- 10:56Speaker 1: What's the best thing you ate at Thanksgiving dinner?
- 11:00Speaker 2: Cookie like the no big cookies.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Okay, what's the worst thing that you ate at Thanksgiving dinner?
- 11:08Speaker 2: I don't know. They were also good. The punch.
- 11:11Speaker 1: We don't eat punch. That was the worst thing, okay, because.
- 11:18Speaker 2: I had a bunch of good stuff, but it had carbonation.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I don't like carbonation, and I don't like Cranberry is
- 11:25Speaker 2: just like the real Cranberry.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Who won the first football game at Thanksgiving Day.
- 11:34Speaker 2: We didn't do football, not you put the football on
- 11:36Speaker 2: the TV. The Thiefs.
- 11:40Speaker 1: No, they lost in the second game to the Cowboys.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Green Bay defeated the Detroit Lions in game one.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I was paying attention. I was out, No, I was
- 11:50Speaker 2: out in the other room playing with my cousins. Okay,
- 11:56Speaker 2: we were watching in your dreams?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Which food? Which Dick was the first dish to be
- 12:03Speaker 1: completely gone on Thanksgiving Day.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I don't think there was anything that was completely gone.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Oh there was, and it was gone quickly. They're gone
- 12:12Speaker 1: quickly every year, and people almost fight over them or
- 12:16Speaker 1: hide them Grandma's devil day they go quick or as
- 12:19Speaker 1: you say, I'll live over.
- 12:21Speaker 2: No egg under oil four.
- 12:24Speaker 1: But yes, those were the first, in my viewing to go.
- 12:29Speaker 2: So they were there like what everybody was leaving?
- 12:33Speaker 1: All right, So how many minutes late were me? You
- 12:38Speaker 1: and your mom? Because there apparently was a little bit
- 12:41Speaker 1: of a game that people were playing and they were
- 12:43Speaker 1: all guessing how late we were going to be, so
- 12:45Speaker 1: I know the exact time. So how many minutes late
- 12:47Speaker 1: were we?
- 12:48Speaker 2: Two?
- 12:49Speaker 1: Apparently we were thirty one minutes late because I thought
- 12:54Speaker 1: that dinners was at two and apparently it was at one,
- 12:59Speaker 1: and we walked in the door at one thirty one.
- 13:03Speaker 1: But in our defense, we were early because I thought
- 13:06Speaker 1: it was at two and the roads were terrible. If
- 13:10Speaker 1: we didn't drive through a white out with slippery and
- 13:12Speaker 1: just like really really bad roads, we probably only would
- 13:16Speaker 1: have been a couple of minutes late and unintentionally an
- 13:19Speaker 1: hour early. But so we do apologize to the fan
- 13:22Speaker 1: because Sissy was angry and yelling at us as soon
- 13:26Speaker 1: as we walked in the door. Thanks Sissy. All right,
- 13:29Speaker 1: let's go with this. We'll do one more gobble gobble
- 13:31Speaker 1: quick answer question. Okay, should turkey even be the main
- 13:37Speaker 1: dish of Thanksgiving?
- 13:39Speaker 2: No?
- 13:39Speaker 1: Straight up no, why cranberry? Cranberry should be this main dish?
- 13:44Speaker 1: You heard it here first, ladies and gentlemen, drop the turkey,
- 13:47Speaker 1: save the turkey, eat more cranberries.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Yeah, because why would you want to kill the turkeys.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Avery said that there was a bunch of turkeys forming
- 13:56Speaker 2: a circle in her backyard yesterday, not yesterday the other day,
- 14:00Speaker 2: formed into a line, and they just started walking into
- 14:03Speaker 2: the woods in the line because they were happy that
- 14:05Speaker 2: they were the ones that survived from Thanksgiving.
- 14:07Speaker 1: It was said by her things that we're saying, all right,
- 14:12Speaker 1: well Thanksgiving is cooked. Literally it's December now, which means
- 14:17Speaker 1: it's officially Christmas season. Boom, we're in it, dude.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Yeah, So I.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Need a Christmas excitement level check. I need you to
- 14:28Speaker 1: rate your hype one through.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Ten, ten out of ten.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Okay, well, now I'm going to give you a list
- 14:36Speaker 1: of items that are Christmas related, and I want you
- 14:38Speaker 1: to rate your hype on each of them, all right,
- 14:41Speaker 1: one through ten. Christmas lights five out of ten point
- 14:44Speaker 1: five out of ten for Christmas lights, all right, all right,
- 14:46Speaker 1: we typically just do Christmas lights on a Christmas tree,
- 14:48Speaker 1: so I think it adds a little bit more to it.
- 14:51Speaker 1: But Christmas lights in general, like you're driving by, I know.
- 14:54Speaker 2: That's why I put it at eight point five because
- 14:57Speaker 2: it's so cool when they go all out dating up
- 15:01Speaker 2: the road. Yeah, she goes all as.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Between the lights, the Christmas village, the Christmas parties, everything.
- 15:11Speaker 1: What's what's your favorite style Christmas light? I mean, you're
- 15:14Speaker 1: you're a little bit older now, you are almost a
- 15:16Speaker 1: decade old. You've seen some Christmas lights in your day
- 15:19Speaker 1: you're driving by. What do you think one of your
- 15:22Speaker 1: favorite styles is like the big bulbs, the led the
- 15:26Speaker 1: small bulbs, colored lights, white lights.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Well, I like when they use There's this one house
- 15:33Speaker 2: that's like somewhere where we drive almost every time. There's
- 15:38Speaker 2: like a little little pole and it's like in a
- 15:40Speaker 2: form that they literally tie around.
- 15:44Speaker 1: It's like a flagpole, take a flagpole and then they
- 15:46Speaker 1: go from like the point down and they make like
- 15:48Speaker 1: a Christmas tree.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Out of it, and it looks really cool.
- 15:52Speaker 1: We should try to talk Nemo and Papa and to
- 15:54Speaker 1: do it on their flagpole. That would be cool. You
- 15:57Speaker 1: think we can talk them into it.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Yeah, let's try. And they have like a start out
- 16:02Speaker 2: of LED's on the top and it's really cool.
- 16:04Speaker 1: That is pretty cool. All right, one through ten. How
- 16:08Speaker 1: excited are you for the first snow?
- 16:10Speaker 2: I was actually pretty excited. So nine point two, nine
- 16:17Speaker 2: point two.
- 16:18Speaker 1: And it's crazy because like the first snow was like Halloween,
- 16:22Speaker 1: So you were excited on Halloween night getting that first snow. Yeah,
- 16:26Speaker 1: you're crazy.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Oh.
- 16:27Speaker 1: One through ten? Tell me the hype Christmas break No School?
- 16:32Speaker 2: Nine point five.
- 16:33Speaker 1: That's pretty excited. I thought that'd be I'm.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Gonna miss I'm gonna miss my friend.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Okay, that's the little bit of a point five. I
- 16:40Speaker 1: got you, and you'll yeah, I mean they'll still be sports,
- 16:42Speaker 1: so you'll probably see them around. Let's go with how
- 16:45Speaker 1: about the hype on Christmas movies? One through ten?
- 16:47Speaker 2: Hear me out.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I'm all about hearing you out. Five Ooh, that's lower
- 16:52Speaker 1: than I thought. I'm hearing you out Why.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Because I like a few of them, but most of
- 16:59Speaker 2: them I don't enjoy it. Like I don't get the
- 17:02Speaker 2: big hype about Home Alone. I know it's a big movie.
- 17:04Speaker 1: You watch your mouth.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I don't like Home Alone.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Don't like Homelan unbelievable. That could be the biggest hot
- 17:12Speaker 1: take that we've had on Stay Out of My Fridge.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I just don't like it.
- 17:16Speaker 1: What about Diehard? Is Diehard a Christmas movie?
- 17:19Speaker 2: I've never watched it.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You probably haven't, But is Diehard a Christmas movie? It's
- 17:24Speaker 1: one of the biggest debates around Christmas time for Christmas movies.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Never watched it, so maybe I don't know.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Blockbuster and video stores put it in the holiday seasonal
- 17:35Speaker 1: Christmas asle when it is time, but so you'll go
- 17:39Speaker 1: maybe that's fine.
- 17:40Speaker 2: All right, because I never watched it, so I don't know.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Fair well, we'll check with Meg and see if you
- 17:45Speaker 1: can watch it this year and see if it's a
- 17:46Speaker 1: Christmas movie. I don't think you will enjoy it. Hot
- 17:50Speaker 1: Chocolate one through ten, where's the hype?
- 17:54Speaker 2: Hot Chocolate? Point nine?
- 17:56Speaker 1: That is the highest rating that you have done of anything, because.
- 18:01Speaker 2: That one percent is that I don't like how sometimes
- 18:04Speaker 2: it burns my mouth, and I don't like marshmallows and them.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I'm sorry, don't. I just don't.
- 18:10Speaker 1: You are throwing the hottest Christmas takes and the coldest
- 18:13Speaker 1: season unbelievable.
- 18:17Speaker 2: But I do like ELFs about like Elf. That's a
- 18:20Speaker 2: good Christmas movie I like to watch.
- 18:22Speaker 1: And talking about hot chocolate, all right, Let's move on
- 18:27Speaker 1: to the next one one through ten, the hype presence?
- 18:31Speaker 1: What do you think? One through ten?
- 18:33Speaker 2: Nine point nine again, because I really like presents. But
- 18:39Speaker 2: the other percent is that it's not everything. Everything is family.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Okay, I was gonna say family, but.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I'm really, really, really like opening presents because it's just
- 18:50Speaker 2: so the most exciting part is when you wake up
- 18:56Speaker 2: and then we all gather around the stairs, and you guys,
- 19:00Speaker 2: we could be staying there for thirty minutes and just
- 19:02Speaker 2: not be bored. We would just look at each other
- 19:04Speaker 2: and talk. Like me and every last year I think
- 19:08Speaker 2: sat like I was like a little bit away from her,
- 19:11Speaker 2: like here.
- 19:12Speaker 1: They can't see, but they can't see.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I know she's here, Like we could be right next
- 19:16Speaker 2: to each other. We'll to have a conversation or we'll
- 19:19Speaker 2: play roadblocks, and then when it's time, you guys will
- 19:23Speaker 2: come to the stairs.
- 19:24Speaker 1: It's time.
- 19:27Speaker 2: That so you'll come to the bottom of the stairs,
- 19:31Speaker 2: come all the way up the stairs, grab us all
- 19:34Speaker 2: and close our eyes and we'll go down the stairs.
- 19:37Speaker 1: And then we don't close your eyes to go down
- 19:39Speaker 1: the stairs. It's dangerous.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Wait, no you don't. That's but I don't look.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I go like, oh, the other two they look. You
- 19:48Speaker 1: would think that they're gonna get whiplashed the way they
- 19:50Speaker 1: look so hard, which is fine. The excitement, the magic
- 19:53Speaker 1: of the season, it's beautiful.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Love. Wait, I don't think I do that. I think
- 19:57Speaker 2: I did it one you look, I did a one year.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I want like this one year. The most excited thing
- 20:06Speaker 2: is when you first see the Christmas tree and all
- 20:09Speaker 2: the presents underneath it. Yeah, our family and started a
- 20:14Speaker 2: new tradition where we'll do like a big sack and
- 20:17Speaker 2: then you'll put present, and then you'll put a wrapper,
- 20:20Speaker 2: wrapping paper, then a present, then wrapping paper isn't wrapping paper,
- 20:25Speaker 2: but we get each get I think two sacks or three.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Do you like that better than the present? Like, yes,
- 20:31Speaker 1: I'd love it. I'm so thankful that myself and Meg
- 20:34Speaker 1: mostly Meg came up with that idea. I love it.
- 20:37Speaker 1: I think it's so cool, it's so unique, it's so different,
- 20:40Speaker 1: and there's just honestly not a lot of waste, I mean,
- 20:42Speaker 1: so much wrapping paper and that stuff. You know, it
- 20:46Speaker 1: just gets ruined the trees and throw it away, like
- 20:48Speaker 1: it's just a cool thing.
- 20:49Speaker 2: We used the same ones for like three years.
- 20:52Speaker 1: They're pretty cool. They're big sacks. Big, they're like you
- 20:56Speaker 1: could fit four eyelids in one.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Two, probably two if I'm like this.
- 21:01Speaker 1: So at the time of the recording, you haven't got
- 21:03Speaker 1: your Advent calendar, but you are going to get one
- 21:07Speaker 1: on December first, you and all the girls. Don't you
- 21:10Speaker 1: guys get an advt calendar every year?
- 21:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, we're.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Gonna get an Avid calendar. Do you have any guesses?
- 21:15Speaker 1: And then next week we can talk about what you
- 21:18Speaker 1: got in your Advent calendar and you know what's your
- 21:21Speaker 1: favorite and what you're not least a favorite is from
- 21:23Speaker 1: the Do you have any ideas, any guesses or no,
- 21:28Speaker 1: anything you're hopeful for or you're just excited to get
- 21:30Speaker 1: one because like I said, you get one every year.
- 21:32Speaker 2: You I really want one, but it's not gonna happen.
- 21:36Speaker 2: I am telling you it is not going to happen.
- 21:39Speaker 2: It's probably like one hundred and twenty bucks is not
- 21:42Speaker 2: going to happen. I want I want.
- 21:46Speaker 1: The Little Boo Boo one Love Boo Boo one that's
- 21:49Speaker 1: a little Boo Boo all those little weird yeah.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Or I want the Wicked one, the New Wicked case.
- 21:59Speaker 2: But it's actually no, I want the movie one. And
- 22:02Speaker 2: when you open it, it goes like the when you
- 22:05Speaker 2: log into Netflix.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Gotcha interesting, Well, we'll have to see what you get.
- 22:10Speaker 1: So instead of going too much of they have a calendar.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I just wanted to throw that out there. We're gonna
- 22:13Speaker 1: talk about that next week. So if you guys want
- 22:15Speaker 1: to see what the girls have, we'll do that. Let's
- 22:17Speaker 1: do a do you know what a would you rather?
- 22:19Speaker 2: Is? Yes, let's do what you want in our classroom
- 22:23Speaker 2: because we do it on Blazer Fresh.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Let's do a little bit of a Christmas would you rather?
- 22:26Speaker 1: All right? Would you rather wrap all the presents that
- 22:31Speaker 1: would go under a tree for a family, or would
- 22:35Speaker 1: you rather untangle the Christmas lights? What would you rather do?
- 22:39Speaker 2: Untangled the Christmas lights? WHOA?
- 22:42Speaker 1: That is no easy task, So I'm going to keep
- 22:44Speaker 1: that in mind.
- 22:46Speaker 2: No, I thought it would. They were like a little one.
- 22:48Speaker 1: No, like no one we go to put on the
- 22:50Speaker 1: Christmas tree, or if we were to hang up a
- 22:51Speaker 1: bunch of Christmas lights outside, you pull them out of
- 22:53Speaker 1: storage and then you have to untangle them. Oh the presents,
- 22:58Speaker 1: Oh you already you already went on. You can't change it.
- 23:00Speaker 1: You're gonna untangle.
- 23:02Speaker 2: I thought it was like around the tree, you need
- 23:03Speaker 2: to put more prescription.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I'll put all the prescription.
- 23:06Speaker 2: I thought it was all the way around, like the
- 23:08Speaker 2: tree ones that goes around the tree. I thought they
- 23:11Speaker 2: were like not like that, big gotcha?
- 23:14Speaker 1: Well, good luck untangling those lights this year. I'm not
- 23:16Speaker 1: going well said you said it on a podcast, so
- 23:18Speaker 1: you're gonna you're the official untangler of the lights for
- 23:21Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. All right, let's move on. Would you
- 23:24Speaker 1: rather have a giant Christmas tree that you have to
- 23:28Speaker 1: climb to be able to put on all the ornaments
- 23:31Speaker 1: or a tiny tree that you can't even decorate because
- 23:34Speaker 1: it's so small. Big tree, big tree that you'd have
- 23:37Speaker 1: to climb. That would be wild.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I want to just I want to climb that. I
- 23:41Speaker 2: would just do the ones that I can read.
- 23:43Speaker 1: But then there'd only be ornaments like two foot high
- 23:46Speaker 1: burn All right? Would you rather have snow every single
- 23:52Speaker 1: day until Christmas? That adds up to tons and tons
- 23:56Speaker 1: and tons of snow or no snow at all on.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Christmas and tons and tons of snow. It's the packy kind.
- 24:03Speaker 1: No, you don't get it could be packy, could be fluffy,
- 24:06Speaker 1: could be light. Just so, you'd rather have snow every
- 24:08Speaker 1: day until Christmas? Have a white Christmas.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I like playing in the snow.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Well that's typically it is up here anyways. But as
- 24:17Speaker 1: an adult having to shovel, plow and move snow and
- 24:21Speaker 1: drive in it stinks. But you're a kid. It's supposed
- 24:24Speaker 1: to be fun, all right. Would you rather get one
- 24:28Speaker 1: big present or ten small presents? M that's a tough
- 24:33Speaker 1: one too, isn't it? Yeah? What would you rather do?
- 24:36Speaker 1: Would you rather get one big present or ten small presents?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Ten small presents? Because the sweatshirt I want is small?
- 24:45Speaker 1: Pluse, you would get to open ten different things and not.
- 24:47Speaker 2: One, I know, but I would maybe get this sweasure
- 24:50Speaker 2: that I want.
- 24:51Speaker 1: All right, that's good. All right, let's before we get
- 24:53Speaker 1: out of here, let's do Christmas hot takes. You've thrown
- 24:58Speaker 1: out a bunch of hot aches already. Let's try one.
- 25:01Speaker 1: I want you to think of one or you know what.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Before we do that, Okay, before we do that, let's
- 25:08Speaker 1: talk about there's something that is huge that happens that
- 25:12Speaker 1: I can't believe. We almost didn't talk about what happens
- 25:16Speaker 1: after Thanksgiving? Why did we? Why did I almost forget this?
- 25:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:20Speaker 1: How did you almost forget this?
- 25:23Speaker 2: Didn't forget it? But sorry to anybody that was just
- 25:32Speaker 2: using hot films.
- 25:32Speaker 1: I was pretty loud, pretty loud, pretty excited. Tell them
- 25:36Speaker 1: we read the book and then they came, they appeared,
- 25:41Speaker 1: and they have new outfits, don't they. I tell everybody
- 25:45Speaker 1: the three elf names. Doesn't matter who's his, which and
- 25:48Speaker 1: what is what?
- 25:48Speaker 2: Just tell them the three elf names Cupcake, lizard and
- 25:52Speaker 2: ginger snap.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Yeah, and what were the outfits this year?
- 25:56Speaker 2: A lifeguard, an astronaut and a swimmer.
- 26:00Speaker 1: That is pretty cool? Why in your own words, do
- 26:05Speaker 1: you love when the elves come?
- 26:08Speaker 2: Like?
- 26:08Speaker 1: What that that adds to the excitement. I see you
- 26:11Speaker 1: coming down those stairs every day? Like in your words,
- 26:14Speaker 1: why are the elves? Like? Are they the greatest thing
- 26:18Speaker 1: of Christmas season?
- 26:19Speaker 2: And why they have the greatest thing on Christmas season?
- 26:23Speaker 2: Because they are my best friends?
- 26:25Speaker 1: What about your best friends listening to this? Are they
- 26:27Speaker 1: going to be a little like yo, dude, I'm not
- 26:29Speaker 1: around all year. These olds are around only one month
- 26:32Speaker 1: and they're your best friends. And we're not your best friends.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I'm not your best friend, your mom's not your best friend,
- 26:37Speaker 1: your sisters aren't your best friend.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Over your best friend. Well, they're what you can have
- 26:42Speaker 2: more than my best friend. No, you can't, Yes, you can't.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I can't hot take. Can I have one best friend? Okay? Anyways,
- 26:49Speaker 1: I'm just messing with you. So obviously they're your best friends.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Like that's what I love them to death?
- 26:54Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, well the elves are back Christmas.
- 27:00Speaker 2: One more thing. It's really exciting when you come down
- 27:03Speaker 2: the stairs, you know, like, where are my else where
- 27:05Speaker 2: am I elves? I love them?
- 27:08Speaker 1: Is that? What is that? What happens? Is that the
- 27:11Speaker 1: voice that goes through your head?
- 27:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:13Speaker 1: Interesting? Okay, well it's almost that time where you go
- 27:19Speaker 1: to bed, wake up and.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Go wear my old Where are I out? So?
- 27:24Speaker 1: Well, that's a rap kid. We went through it again.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Next week? What are we going to talk about?
- 27:28Speaker 2: What I got from my Christmas? Apa?
- 27:32Speaker 1: We'll talk about the advent calor wonder. We'll talk about
- 27:34Speaker 1: all the different locations that you remember where the elves are,
- 27:38Speaker 1: and we'll we'll keep wrapping into some Christmas style stuff.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Tis the season, all right, We'll talk about traditions we
- 27:44Speaker 1: have that I think are like no other, like the Masters,
- 27:48Speaker 1: and yeah, we'll get a little bit of more of
- 27:51Speaker 1: an insight and we'll build up that Christmas buzz. I'm excited. Yeah,
- 27:54Speaker 1: I'm getting hyped. And then we'll give an update on

- 28:15Speaker 1: share it to your uncle, share it to your best friend.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Why don't you play this for the elves at night
- 28:19Speaker 1: so they have something to watch and listen to.
- 28:22Speaker 2: And make sure to be kind to all your friends
- 28:26Speaker 2: and have a holly, jolly Christmas. It's the best time
- 28:31Speaker 2: of the year it.
