- 0:41Speaker 4: don't need a second welcome in at the table?
- 0:44Speaker 3: Oh wow, wow. Now we've got standards for welcoming people in.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Welcome into, ordering, welcome into, asking for water, welcome in.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I hi, wow, that's you took it to a
- 0:57Speaker 2: different level. I wasn't expecting, but you know, fair enough,
- 1:01Speaker 2: fair enough.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Welcome in stops at the door, and I need it
- 1:06Speaker 1: at every point. Welcome into the bathroom, Welcome in.
- 1:10Speaker 4: To the wrong direction to the restrooms, Welcome into the
- 1:13Speaker 4: correct direction of the restrooms.
- 1:14Speaker 3: I would love a welcome in the bathroom.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie I low welcome in the bathroom.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I'm will welcome myself in. So anyway, we're talking Potomac today,
- 1:28Speaker 2: and I got to mention that ads are under control.
- 1:32Speaker 2: You guys, thank you for listening. On the public podcast.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I apologize about the excessive amount of ads. I did
- 1:37Speaker 2: not know that was happening.
- 1:39Speaker 3: They have been.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Fixed from the last few episodes and we will continue
- 1:44Speaker 2: to be fixed as we move forward, where there will
- 1:46Speaker 2: not be an embarrassment of ads, meaning the ones that
- 1:50Speaker 2: are like the programmatic ones, not the ones that I
- 1:52Speaker 2: read those are fun, but the ones that like get
- 1:55Speaker 2: inserted in. Just so you know, I'm aware. Now, thank
- 1:58Speaker 2: you for letting me know. Yes, we are on it tunny, and.
- 2:04Speaker 4: I would you say a lot of times with iTunes
- 2:06Speaker 4: especially or just any of that like it, things get
- 2:12Speaker 4: changed in updates and people just don't know that their
- 2:15Speaker 4: show all of a sudden is overloaded because yeah, like
- 2:19Speaker 4: you sit there and listen to every single episode on
- 2:21Speaker 4: every platform.
- 2:22Speaker 1: And in everything.
- 2:23Speaker 3: I don't.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I don't. Yeah, I'm gonna need to, but maybe I
- 2:27Speaker 2: need to start. But I do appreciate you guys letting
- 2:29Speaker 2: me know. So if anything else goes hey wire, please
- 2:32Speaker 2: let me know. Try not to write a negative review
- 2:35Speaker 2: about it first.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Oh yeah, DM DM drama Darling's on Instagram's any time.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Yeah, please, I'm open And if you have it in
- 2:44Speaker 2: your heart, please go over to where at Spotify or
- 2:48Speaker 2: Apple Podcasts, give it a nice rating and say thanks
- 2:51Speaker 2: for fixing the ad problem.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I'm going back to listening.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I don't want people to go away because it's going
- 2:58Speaker 2: to be too many ads. That's just an I totally
- 3:01Speaker 2: feel you on that. And also, and while we're on
- 3:03Speaker 2: the topic, if you want completely ad free, Patreon is
- 3:06Speaker 2: obviously available and you get Monday, Wednesday, Friday recaps over
- 3:12Speaker 2: there as well and other benefits. So with that being said,
- 3:18Speaker 2: some of the darlings over on Patreon, you know, have
- 3:21Speaker 2: taken to the chat, taken to the comment section, and
- 3:25Speaker 2: I got to tell you one of the darlings actually
- 3:28Speaker 2: met Mia ooh yeah at a Nordstrom the other day
- 3:34Speaker 2: in Atlanta, so I guess you know. She was like
- 3:40Speaker 2: she was like, oh my god, I think that's me.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I think that's Mia, and she was kind of like
- 3:45Speaker 2: trailing her ended up. She was like, she made her
- 3:48Speaker 2: husband buy a belt because she was in the belt
- 3:51Speaker 2: section and so finally because she wanted to get confirmation
- 3:57Speaker 2: that it was Mia, and sure enough, like he.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Got the belt. She was like Hi, She's like, are
- 4:01Speaker 3: you mean She's like yes.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Apparently she was so friendly and she was like this,
- 4:07Speaker 2: Gal said, I can't begin to tell you how sweet
- 4:10Speaker 2: she was. She asked my name, introduced ink, by the way.
- 4:14Speaker 1: And she stand five feet in front of them.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Oh wait, I forget how it is, so it's like, wait,
- 4:22Speaker 4: she's she's in would.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Be yeah, he would Yeah, the aspect ratio would be that. Anyway,
- 4:28Speaker 2: great things to said about Mia, So good on you, Mia,
- 4:31Speaker 2: That's awesome. Also, I want to give a shout out
- 4:36Speaker 2: to Mike Ciseri because he's always correcting us on our facts,
- 4:40Speaker 2: not in a bad way, like he's just giving.
- 4:42Speaker 3: He's bringing us to our seats.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Are unofficial tie, our unofficial checker.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely, he's just all the knowledge.
- 4:50Speaker 1: And I don't mind checkers.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I actually need I need a checker. We need checkers,
- 4:55Speaker 3: you know, of course.
- 4:56Speaker 2: But Mike basically took to the comment section and was like, guys, okay.
- 5:00Speaker 2: So these are the eight charges against Karen one and
- 5:03Speaker 2: by the way, trial is in December.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Number one driving.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Vehicle, driving vehicle while impaired by alcohol, two, driving vehicle
- 5:10Speaker 2: while under the influence of alcohol, three driving vehicle in
- 5:13Speaker 2: excess of reasonable and prudent speed on highway. Four Failure
- 5:18Speaker 2: to control vehicle speed on highway to avoid collision. Five
- 5:23Speaker 2: failure of license to notify administration of change of address
- 5:27Speaker 2: within thirty days. Six driving vehicle on highway with suspended registration.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Seven negligent driving vehicle, careless and imprudent manner endangering property,
- 5:42Speaker 2: life and person. Eight reckless driving vehicle in Wanton Wanton
- 5:49Speaker 2: and willful disregard for safety of persons and property. How
- 5:54Speaker 2: about that, now you've heard.
- 5:55Speaker 4: It, failure to straighten that wig? And many what season
- 5:59Speaker 4: is this?
- 6:00Speaker 3: Wait? Was it? When was her wig crooked in this episode?
- 6:04Speaker 4: That montage they did of her and way back when well,
- 6:09Speaker 4: of all the seasons, and then there was one split
- 6:12Speaker 4: second maybe it was in the last base. Oh yeah,
- 6:17Speaker 4: I was just like, come on, Karen, come on, I can't.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Believe you're saying this. I thought her wigs have been
- 6:23Speaker 2: straight since well, now season.
- 6:26Speaker 4: It must have been in the last episode because the uh,
- 6:30Speaker 4: this episode it looked great.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I'm remembering that.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Yeah, this episode, most episodes, it looks great. Gonna need
- 6:36Speaker 2: to see proof timeline screenshots on the situation in which
- 6:41Speaker 2: you're referring to.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Yeah, because it's like everyone else who wears a wig.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I just never noticed that it's crooked.
- 6:50Speaker 4: And then with Karen, I'm always like, is it a choice,
- 6:54Speaker 4: Like I just yeah, I.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Mean it's you know, so people are in a hurry.
- 6:59Speaker 1: But I mean, Karen, if I asked her, she was saying, well,
- 7:01Speaker 1: it is a choice.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right. I would say that.
- 7:05Speaker 2: She would definitely say that, and we love her for that.
- 7:07Speaker 2: It's a grand on choice.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I can choose to do this whenever I.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Want to do Yeah, and everybody's going to be following.
- 7:13Speaker 1: You will see you're okay. And then I'd walk out
- 7:16Speaker 1: with a crooked wig too undercent.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Oh god, Karen Huger, what wow?
- 7:25Speaker 4: Oh.
- 7:25Speaker 3: By the way.
- 7:26Speaker 2: On the note of welcoming in, Danielle, one of the
- 7:29Speaker 2: Darlings said that she works in a level TOO trauma
- 7:32Speaker 2: hospital and she had a patient come into the operating
- 7:35Speaker 2: room yesterday and she said welcome in as she wheeled
- 7:38Speaker 2: her in. Its ingrained in her brain, welcome in. And
- 7:50Speaker 2: I think that is just lovely, you know. Also want
- 7:54Speaker 2: to do a mention for is anybody going to a
- 7:58Speaker 2: very countess Christmas in Tampa? Because our gal Over one
- 8:05Speaker 2: of the darlings, mel Over on the Darling Podcast on Patreon.
- 8:10Speaker 4: On the Patreon Darlings have their own podcast these episodes.
- 8:16Speaker 3: It's an after show. Hey, I encourage it.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Anyway, Mel wants to know, is there anyone who wants
- 8:23Speaker 2: to meet up?
- 8:24Speaker 3: Are you in Tampa?
- 8:25Speaker 2: And I will make that connection happen if you want
- 8:28Speaker 2: to d me, DM me on meeting Amy Phillips on
- 8:31Speaker 2: Instagram or like whatever, you know. So just putting that
- 8:35Speaker 2: out there because she is going and she's looking for
- 8:37Speaker 2: some other darlings that will be there. And also Amy
- 8:41Speaker 2: Powers shout out to my true ambassador of the show.
- 8:46Speaker 2: She sent me just a delightful box from the tea
- 8:52Speaker 2: house in San Juan Capistrano, the tea house that the
- 8:56Speaker 2: Orange County Ladies went to for Shannon's birthday slash andnouncement
- 9:00Speaker 2: of the London trip, as well as when Victoria was
- 9:04Speaker 2: turning a certain age had it Rebebbe but they all
- 9:05Speaker 2: dressed up like Queen Victoria and that's the same place
- 9:08Speaker 2: and Emily and I want to go to celebrate.
- 9:12Speaker 1: And anyway, we still haven't celebrated your birthday.
- 9:16Speaker 2: So I have both not birthday people, you know, not
- 9:20Speaker 2: at all. We don't prioritize it. We're like whatever, So
- 9:23Speaker 2: let's just call it.
- 9:24Speaker 4: See, let's not say we're getting together to celebrate any
- 9:28Speaker 4: sort of miles.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I love it. Okay, good, okay, let's do that.
- 9:31Speaker 2: But anyway, Amy, thank you so much for the tea
- 9:33Speaker 2: and the infusers, and I will certainly give them out
- 9:36Speaker 2: to all of the other Darling co hosts.
- 9:38Speaker 3: So thank you for that drama, Darling, drama Darling.
- 9:43Speaker 2: So today, why don't we welcome you all in to
- 9:48Speaker 2: our recap of the Real Housewives of Potomac because it's
- 9:52Speaker 2: beginning now. Oh but duh below deck sailing out coming
- 9:56Speaker 2: another day.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Oh, here we are.
- 10:02Speaker 2: You know, I can never get enough of these Karen
- 10:07Speaker 2: Huger getting awards, and I think that is her point.
- 10:10Speaker 3: She serves a purpose on this show, and that is.
- 10:13Speaker 2: That no matter what season, no matter what point in
- 10:18Speaker 2: the season, no matter what's going on in her life,
- 10:20Speaker 2: she's going to get an award and we're all going
- 10:22Speaker 2: to be there to witness it.
- 10:23Speaker 4: The community needs to celebrate her and we are just
- 10:26Speaker 4: on board for it. And that's why she's an award
- 10:29Speaker 4: winning housewife's winning house She constantly and this one really
- 10:39Speaker 4: felt like I gotta correct the pr immediately and I
- 10:44Speaker 4: will promise all the housewives will be in attendance.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Wow, I mean that was something.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:52Speaker 2: And for Giselle to call out that she got the
- 10:55Speaker 2: original invitation to the femmeit'sy here femin Powered eempowered event
- 11:02Speaker 2: that no one still knows what the award.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Is for, well there is. I'm still a little confused
- 11:09Speaker 1: on what Giselle's event was.
- 11:10Speaker 2: So you know, that's a good point. I can't correct
- 11:17Speaker 2: you on that one. I'm on board with you on that.
- 11:21Speaker 2: But to have gotten an invite to an award show
- 11:25Speaker 2: where the honore's name wasn't mentioned, or in another honore's
- 11:30Speaker 2: name was mentioned, and now Karen is going to be there.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Yes, for her to call that out is savage and
- 11:39Speaker 3: I love it.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Trauma I understanding between Karen and Gizelle. And I know
- 11:46Speaker 4: we've said it before that we don't see in any
- 11:48Speaker 4: other housewife kingdom where they just it's just a volley
- 11:55Speaker 4: of disses back and forth and they rise above and
- 11:58Speaker 4: keep moving.
- 11:59Speaker 1: They don't nothing seems to stick, no, because they go
- 12:03Speaker 1: so hard in on each other, Like just Karen coming
- 12:05Speaker 1: over to have a cookie like that.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Was like so So then to cut to Gizelle being like, oh,
- 12:13Speaker 4: well I got that invitation and she wasn't on it, and.
- 12:16Speaker 1: It's like wow, and then karenelles.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Then Karen's like, I love If Gizelle wouldn't go for me,
- 12:27Speaker 4: I wouldn't know what to do.
- 12:29Speaker 3: But I know you're so right.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Yeah, She's basically like Gizelle grounds the Grandame. If I'm
- 12:37Speaker 2: not getting roasted by the Grandame, I don't know who
- 12:39Speaker 2: the grondam is. If Karen isn't coming for me one
- 12:42Speaker 2: way or another, I need to get savagely torn apart
- 12:47Speaker 2: by the Gizelle.
- 12:48Speaker 3: I mean it's like, I.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Like that youth also switched between Karen calling herself in
- 12:53Speaker 4: the third person.
- 12:56Speaker 3: I know, by the way, Gizelle also calls her in
- 13:00Speaker 3: the third person.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Yeah, but I mean, honestly, I would love I love
- 13:05Speaker 4: watching Karen.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I'd want to hang with Gizelle.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I want to know.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Yeah, because deserving Karen, I think.
- 13:15Speaker 3: There'd be a little more back and forth with Gizelle.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:19Speaker 4: I mean, I mean, I think Karen's very nice. It's
- 13:21Speaker 4: just that I don't think she's gonna really be Uh.
- 13:25Speaker 4: She just doesn't open up because she's trying to protect
- 13:28Speaker 4: this award winning legacy of concept of a Karen, And I.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Mean we have the proof receipts, timeline screenshots of the
- 13:38Speaker 2: eight citations.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that she's trying to clean up. So I'm guessing
- 13:44Speaker 3: she's gonna have an award event for eight eight award
- 13:49Speaker 3: events for each citation, you know what I mean?
- 13:54Speaker 1: I mean, where does she put all the awards?
- 13:57Speaker 4: Ray?
- 13:59Speaker 3: Ray? Is my award room ready?
- 14:04Speaker 2: I mean, there's got to be a room in there
- 14:06Speaker 2: for all the awards. But I look, I don't know.
- 14:11Speaker 4: I also was curious because, like I said, I do
- 14:14Speaker 4: think there was some kind of understanding with this, like
- 14:18Speaker 4: Karen somehow lining up an award and then some kind
- 14:23Speaker 4: of commitment that she was going to get the housewives there.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Yeah, and.
- 14:29Speaker 4: Because then there was all of a sudden a sprinter
- 14:31Speaker 4: van promised and then.
- 14:33Speaker 2: By Jazzy, which that makes sense, like why is she
- 14:37Speaker 2: in charge of transportation all of a sudden?
- 14:39Speaker 3: Yeah? None, Okay, sorry, we'll get back to Oh.
- 14:42Speaker 4: But they barely covered it in terms of it seemed
- 14:45Speaker 4: like they were filming it on their phones, they weren't miked,
- 14:48Speaker 4: and they weren't really filming it. It was a poor
- 14:51Speaker 4: quality shot in the actual awards. And then right, yeah,
- 14:58Speaker 4: and not that they could have edited this part out,
- 15:00Speaker 4: but we didn't see Karen's speech, and not that we
- 15:05Speaker 4: would have needed to, but just like almost as b
- 15:07Speaker 4: roll footage, but there was the coverage was not great.
- 15:11Speaker 4: So I was like, well, did they not want them
- 15:14Speaker 4: to film? Was that negotiated?
- 15:17Speaker 3: Interesting?
- 15:18Speaker 1: Yeah? But then I thought this really was last minute
- 15:21Speaker 1: because she just aproed.
- 15:22Speaker 4: She just said appearances probably and then didn't clear any
- 15:26Speaker 4: kind of filming, and that maybe that's why we got what.
- 15:30Speaker 1: We got because that shot is so right.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I didn't even think about that, Like, first of all,
- 15:36Speaker 2: why didn't we get a speech from the Grand Dame
- 15:38Speaker 2: at her award ceremony?
- 15:39Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, we were just a thank you, like
- 15:44Speaker 4: from the mic, like something to show she was at
- 15:46Speaker 4: a podium.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Or just her posing with Yeah, just as the most
- 15:52Speaker 3: generic award possible, you know, the ones that you just
- 15:55Speaker 3: can't order off of Amazon. That's like it's like blank
- 15:58Speaker 3: on the trophy, you know, it's like Sharpie's written in,
- 16:02Speaker 3: you know, the Femme Award for Excellence.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Like what, Yeah, it's so strange.
- 16:14Speaker 3: It was it.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Seemed like a rogue award show, but we know it's
- 16:18Speaker 2: legitimate because Gizelle got an award, I mean sorry, I
- 16:21Speaker 2: got an invitation to it, so we know that it's
- 16:24Speaker 2: actually happening. It just totally blows my mind that Karen
- 16:29Speaker 2: would dismantle something that seems to me even though we
- 16:34Speaker 2: are a little confused about this being under the GNA umbrella. However,
- 16:39Speaker 2: that being said, it is a very heavy personal cause
- 16:43Speaker 2: that Gizelle is, you know, heading up here about partnering
- 16:49Speaker 2: with the Brain Tumor Society. Like, so for Karen to
- 16:53Speaker 2: come and dismantle that by way of inviting these housewives
- 16:57Speaker 2: to her event at the same time is.
- 17:00Speaker 3: A really bad move.
- 17:02Speaker 2: And frankly, maybe the award, like maybe the actual team
- 17:08Speaker 2: of people at Femme Powered they took away her award
- 17:12Speaker 2: when they heard what she did to Giselle and then
- 17:15Speaker 2: she wasn't honored. Wow, just say just saying.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Well, now I'm realizing too that we saw Karen standing
- 17:24Speaker 1: among the other awards or somebody looking at them, but
- 17:28Speaker 1: we didn't even get a close up to see if
- 17:30Speaker 1: her name was on one.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Oh maybe maybe it was a solemn mistake and she
- 17:35Speaker 2: wasn't being honored.
- 17:37Speaker 3: She showed up and was like, I'm here, where's my
- 17:40Speaker 3: Award and they're like, we said you're just invited. We
- 17:45Speaker 3: didn't say you're getting an award.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Karen, Oh, maybe it's like the Joan Crawford going in
- 17:51Speaker 4: it and accepting.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Oh my gosh what wait?
- 17:56Speaker 3: Yeah, m hmm, what happened?
- 17:59Speaker 1: Oh my god. The darlings are screaming at me.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, okay, Well.
- 18:05Speaker 4: It was like when Joan Crawford told went around to
- 18:09Speaker 4: all the other women that were nominated for an Academy
- 18:11Speaker 4: Award because Joan Crawford wasn't.
- 18:14Speaker 1: But she's like, I will just accept your award on
- 18:17Speaker 1: your behalf, and she talked Anne Bancroft into doing it.
- 18:20Speaker 4: So what people thought was Joan Crawford won the award,
- 18:24Speaker 4: the Academy Award, but she's like, she just came up
- 18:27Speaker 4: and said thank you, But she was accepting it for
- 18:30Speaker 4: Anne Bancroft.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that's right.
- 18:35Speaker 1: She had. That's when she did like the whole silver hair.
- 18:39Speaker 4: Like, so she was accepting on behalf, but that's her
- 18:43Speaker 4: Karen did.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Yes, Oh my gosh, I love a Joan Crawford Real
- 18:48Speaker 2: Housewives of Potomac crossover.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Wow.
- 18:51Speaker 2: If we're saying that the grand dam is in company
- 18:55Speaker 2: with Joan Crawford.
- 18:56Speaker 3: We are we're really saying something.
- 18:58Speaker 4: She probably was like, rup and you stay hope, I
- 19:01Speaker 4: know you're not filming.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I'll go accept your fem power.
- 19:08Speaker 2: You guys last week, Okay, Emily you were not here
- 19:12Speaker 2: for this, but Deanna and I recapped the first episode
- 19:16Speaker 2: and I'm not joking you.
- 19:19Speaker 3: We legit forgot Robin's name. Shut h forgot that she
- 19:26Speaker 3: was even on the show.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Are you were you guys having strokes? Was there something
- 19:32Speaker 1: in the air? Was there a fire?
- 19:34Speaker 3: No?
- 19:34Speaker 2: But we're like some we made a reference and then
- 19:38Speaker 2: she's like, yeah, you know the one that didn't come back.
- 19:40Speaker 3: I'm like who? And then we couldn't remember her name
- 19:45Speaker 3: for a second.
- 19:46Speaker 1: But then there's two.
- 19:48Speaker 3: There's Cads.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I know we well, I remember Candace. I mean, okay,
- 19:53Speaker 2: not gonna forget Candace. But what I'm trying to get one. Sorry,
- 19:58Speaker 2: I am so glad want Dixon is not here right now.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Epic? Actually that was epic. Anyway, where are we Joan
- 20:09Speaker 3: Crawford Awards, Well, Robin Robin got the award for what
- 20:14Speaker 3: not getting invited back for this season?
- 20:17Speaker 4: Right, the Fempower Award for not re upping a contract,
- 20:21Speaker 4: and Karen's like, I will accept, but.
- 20:26Speaker 2: I will, I will promptly, except she's going all right,
- 20:30Speaker 2: can accepting awards on everyone's be house.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I can't. This is too good. I'm gonna tell you
- 20:37Speaker 3: if I'm ever awarded with something Emily, yeah please, no,
- 20:41Speaker 3: not you, not you, I can't accept it. No, I
- 20:45Speaker 3: want you to get the Grand Dame to accept it.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Oh well yeah, and if she's not available, then you can. Please.
- 20:53Speaker 4: That is an awesome idea. God, I wish I was
- 20:56Speaker 4: nominated more than ever for anything.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Wait, what if we were like legit, like we actually
- 21:03Speaker 3: were successful in our field of entertainment, Like.
- 21:07Speaker 4: If I was nominated for like an Emmy, I would
- 21:09Speaker 4: one thousand percent now have the grandam go accept it
- 21:12Speaker 4: on my behalf.
- 21:14Speaker 2: That would be the greatest thing anyone would have ever
- 21:17Speaker 2: seen in their entire lives.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 4: I mean if it would be up for grabs for
- 21:24Speaker 4: twenty percent of that venue, they'd be like.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Okay, that would be so incredible. And like people in
- 21:30Speaker 2: the audience, most.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Wouldn't know who she is, let's be honest, you know.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Yeah, but it would be like the other week having
- 21:36Speaker 4: the whole board of Heather gay On Jeopardy. The people
- 21:40Speaker 4: that at home that get it would like cry with appreciation.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Yes.
- 21:46Speaker 2: By the way, I saw something where somebody wrote that
- 21:50Speaker 2: Andy and watch it. Was it Andy on Radio Andy,
- 21:54Speaker 2: or maybe it was Watch Happens Live. I'm not sure,
- 21:57Speaker 2: but the producer of Jeopardy somehow is to being to
- 22:01Speaker 2: producing unwatch Happens Live.
- 22:02Speaker 3: And so they kind.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Of like ushered that in a little bit, and so
- 22:06Speaker 2: Andy gave them a shout out, which is great.
- 22:08Speaker 1: I love it.
- 22:09Speaker 2: What a crossover. Yeah, I mean yeah, I watched that episode.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I recorded it, as you know. I yelled to Brett
- 22:15Speaker 2: like sigh.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I was like, Ratt record yeah, right, sexless marriage.
- 22:22Speaker 2: And he was like okay, And so I recorded it
- 22:25Speaker 2: and watch it and it was great.
- 22:28Speaker 4: I didn't watch it, but I know it's like automatically DVR.
- 22:31Speaker 4: I think I think it's you can, like, you know,
- 22:34Speaker 4: watch it wherever in the universe, so I should.
- 22:38Speaker 3: There's no mention to any of the housewives in any
- 22:40Speaker 3: of the answers.
- 22:41Speaker 1: That's what's so great.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that is you know what I mean, I know
- 22:45Speaker 3: what you mean. I do have a wait.
- 22:49Speaker 1: By the way, what did you get the vibe?
- 22:52Speaker 4: Speaking of Candace and Robina at that Wendy Giselle sit
- 22:57Speaker 4: down that they had maybe been chatted with about re
- 23:02Speaker 4: upping their contract, and they're like, you two got to
- 23:05Speaker 4: figure this shit out.
- 23:07Speaker 3: One million.
- 23:12Speaker 2: I mean Wendy floating in feathers. That means I'm open.
- 23:16Speaker 2: It's like, Wendy, he all you needed to do was
- 23:18Speaker 2: be told, you know, because she has been just, you know,
- 23:23Speaker 2: a partition.
- 23:24Speaker 3: She has been a a what are those walls called
- 23:30Speaker 3: for to stop water?
- 23:33Speaker 1: A boundary wall or a damn.
- 23:37Speaker 3: A damn why don't we call her a damn sure whatever? Anyway, Yeah,
- 23:42Speaker 3: so yeah, she's been because we go to on some.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Level, well really like Giselle and Candace had a real
- 23:52Speaker 4: reason to not be speaking to each other, and then
- 23:56Speaker 4: it felt like last season that Wendy was like, well
- 23:59Speaker 4: then I'm just I'm not going to talk to anybody either,
- 24:02Speaker 4: right right totally and it was like on her own, yeah,
- 24:06Speaker 4: and it was like no, Wendy.
- 24:08Speaker 3: No, I'm surprised she's back.
- 24:09Speaker 2: She's very lucky to be here, and I hope she
- 24:13Speaker 2: gets racked together because boy, what a journey we've had
- 24:17Speaker 2: with Wendy. I loved her first season when she was
- 24:20Speaker 2: on and then she lost her way and then she
- 24:23Speaker 2: like didn't know which way was up.
- 24:26Speaker 3: She's always been entertaining.
- 24:27Speaker 4: But.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I did not enjoy her last season.
- 24:32Speaker 3: No, I didn't either, and yeah I didn't eat her.
- 24:37Speaker 4: And she does seem to have changed her tune a
- 24:40Speaker 4: bit this season.
- 24:41Speaker 1: So the jury's out, I don't know.
- 24:45Speaker 2: No, that's and we should be. We're going to be
- 24:47Speaker 2: deliberating all season long. We need to see, you know,
- 24:51Speaker 2: what's laid out before us before we go well, actually no,
- 24:54Speaker 2: we're still in the court. Okay, we're gonna the jury's
- 24:57Speaker 2: in the court and we're going to watch the season.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Then we're going to go to liberate, so fair enough.
- 25:01Speaker 4: For one full month, just like the Menendez brothers jury
- 25:05Speaker 4: for trial wine.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Yes, wow, that was crazy.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Like the tie in of Wendy.
- 25:11Speaker 2: To I mean one month and then they couldn't come
- 25:15Speaker 2: to a conclusion. By the way, I am you know
- 25:19Speaker 2: sidebar you guys, if you are interested in discussing the
- 25:24Speaker 2: Menendez stuff, Emily and I are going to be covering
- 25:27Speaker 2: it and it'll likely be over on Patreon. But there's
- 25:31Speaker 2: a new documentary that has just been released on Netflix.
- 25:34Speaker 2: And then of course Brian Murphy has like a nine
- 25:37Speaker 2: part series on Netflix called Monsters and that covers Menendez.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I'm watching that right now. And trigger warning for all
- 25:45Speaker 2: of this, trigger warning for all of this. And what
- 25:47Speaker 2: I will say is that the acting is absolutely unbelievable
- 25:52Speaker 2: over on Monsters, Like it's just it's unreal. It's some
- 25:56Speaker 2: of the best acting I've seen in a while. So
- 25:58Speaker 2: that being said, it's still very very hard to watch.
- 26:01Speaker 2: And then I'm gonna watch like the Menudo documentary and
- 26:06Speaker 2: some other computing pieces and I'm reading a lot so
- 26:08Speaker 2: we will be informed when we discuss this.
- 26:11Speaker 4: And I am heavily pushing for the prosecutor of the
- 26:15Speaker 4: first Menetta's child to be a bravo housewife in any
- 26:19Speaker 4: I mean, she is jenn Abramson, No Pamela, the one
- 26:26Speaker 4: that is like just you know, I'm armed to the teeth.
- 26:30Speaker 3: TikTokers. Oh that lady.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Okay, sorry, yeah, got you there, TikTokers.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Yes, And he drives a hard bargain that one.
- 26:40Speaker 1: She'd be a great housewife.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Yeah, she would take zero shit and call and read
- 26:46Speaker 4: everyone and we'd all be so pissed about her.
- 26:50Speaker 3: I know it would be awesome.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Yeah AnyWho, uh, all right, but we pick up in
- 26:55Speaker 2: this first episode in this first scene with Mi h
- 27:00Speaker 2: you know, about what happened at Karen's birthday party, and
- 27:03Speaker 2: she comes back in after crying much welcome in, Welcome back,
- 27:08Speaker 2: welcome back in. Uh, and Karen and Giselle are like, oh, yeah,
- 27:13Speaker 2: when we basically said that you're not a good mom
- 27:15Speaker 2: and you don't protect your kids, We're really sorry about that.
- 27:18Speaker 1: That's not what we meant. You're a wonderful.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Mom, right, okay, And so they sort of move on
- 27:27Speaker 2: from that, and then Wendy was great, Wendy was supporting
- 27:31Speaker 2: Mia and yeah, so we.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Move on from that.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Oh oh, and Gizelle gives out hats. Jazelle gives Wendy
- 27:38Speaker 2: the bucket hat because their relationship has been in the
- 27:39Speaker 2: bucket and then they have a plan to talk in
- 27:41Speaker 2: which we jump over to Giselle and Wendy having lunch
- 27:45Speaker 2: at the Welcome in a welcome into the table. Yeah,
- 27:48Speaker 2: and we talked about that boy, the oyster situation. Here's
- 27:52Speaker 2: the thing I don't when when Wendy said you're supposed
- 27:56Speaker 2: to shuck it, does she mean like.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Like suck it, not shuck it. She didn't say shuck it,
- 28:02Speaker 3: did she say. I thought she said they were already shucked. Yeah,
- 28:05Speaker 3: they were already.
- 28:06Speaker 2: So she said, suck it. Okay, I thought she said shuck. Anyway,
- 28:11Speaker 2: I don't do the thing.
- 28:12Speaker 3: I do it like Gizelle because I pick it up
- 28:15Speaker 3: with that little fork because I love the little fork
- 28:17Speaker 3: and I like to dip it in that the like.
- 28:20Speaker 4: I recommend that because it's not like those shells are
- 28:24Speaker 4: clean and they're sitting in ice at the restaurant that like,
- 28:30Speaker 4: you know, there's a lot of opportunities for contamination on
- 28:33Speaker 4: the shell.
- 28:34Speaker 1: So I agree with Giselle. But if you're like out
- 28:37Speaker 1: on it in the wild, like go for it.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Well yeah, if you're on Survivor and you've got no.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Yeah, or just like or like you're somehow having them fresh,
- 28:48Speaker 4: I guess, like I don't know, like straight out of whatever.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Yeah, Compton, if you're having oysters in Compton, right.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Straight out of Compton, I guess yeah. I just I've
- 29:00Speaker 1: done them both.
- 29:00Speaker 4: But I think people might get sick and they think
- 29:02Speaker 4: they're getting sick from the oysters, and I always wonder
- 29:04Speaker 4: if they're getting sick from the shell at a restaurant.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Oh, that's such a great point and By the way,
- 29:10Speaker 2: the reason why you're hearing a lot of authority in
- 29:12Speaker 2: Emily's voice speaking on this topic, and when she really
- 29:16Speaker 2: launched into I recommend is because we're talking to Maryland Emily.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I mean, she knows as you about an oyster.
- 29:24Speaker 4: I am the odd one out on that. If my
- 29:26Speaker 4: my friends would all act like, what are you doing that?
- 29:29Speaker 1: You're eating it wrong?
- 29:30Speaker 4: So get I get what I get the feeling that
- 29:33Speaker 4: Wendy's putting out there.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I I you know, we don't need to
- 29:38Speaker 2: know where everyone stands on it. Usually we would want
- 29:40Speaker 2: to get into this minutia. But I am going to
- 29:43Speaker 2: stand by what I do. And I think I didn't
- 29:45Speaker 2: even think about the safety of the like germs because.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Well just because you know, like restaurant ice that's been
- 29:52Speaker 1: sitting there.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Restaurant ice can be a bad thing. Yeah, any who?
- 29:57Speaker 2: All right, So that basically launched them into talking about
- 30:02Speaker 2: their friendship, and Gizelle says, you know, there's no room
- 30:07Speaker 2: for friendship when you're talking to someone in a demeaning way,
- 30:09Speaker 2: in which Wendy says, but you can't police how you
- 30:13Speaker 2: respond to people. And also, I don't like how you
- 30:17Speaker 2: alienate people.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Wendy says, okay, I received that before everything.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Yeah, and then says that what you're like it.
- 30:26Speaker 2: I didn't know you could receive something because we've been
- 30:28Speaker 2: trying to get you to receive something for a couple
- 30:30Speaker 2: of seasons. Known again, you had that little pep talk
- 30:34Speaker 2: from the producers and yeah, glad you showed up. And
- 30:37Speaker 2: Gazelle showed up too, because she's like, all right, well,
- 30:39Speaker 2: let's just agree to when we have a problem, and
- 30:42Speaker 2: this is the new thing that housewives do. Let's just
- 30:45Speaker 2: agree when we have a problem, we have to talk
- 30:46Speaker 2: about it right then and there.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Right, which is what the producers. Well, wait till we
- 30:52Speaker 1: have some cameras, gals, is the other part of that.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Yeah, wait till we're rolling and then like, yeah, really
- 30:58Speaker 4: hash it out two weeks.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:01Speaker 2: They also had a little laugh over Gizelle telling telling
- 31:05Speaker 2: Wendy that Karen said that when she met Ink, she
- 31:08Speaker 2: looked over and she didn't see anybody there, and then
- 31:11Speaker 2: she looked down and I was like, this is gonna
- 31:14Speaker 2: be the joke that is.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Just gonna keep going. I mean, it's like, these.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Ladies are gonna milk this short joke for everything they've
- 31:23Speaker 2: got and I can't say I'm not here for it
- 31:25Speaker 2: because I am.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Well, they're able to bond over it, and we really
- 31:29Speaker 4: need these two to be happy together. So I'm talking
- 31:32Speaker 4: about Gizelle and Wendy, not me and Ink.
- 31:35Speaker 3: So yeah for it. I agree.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Before we jump to the next topic, let me just

- 34:55Speaker 2: you by Low Lev, an award winning hair care line
- 34:58Speaker 2: founded by my best friend, Jennifer Aniston. Okay, that might
- 35:03Speaker 2: be a little bit of a stretch, but I'd like
- 35:05Speaker 2: to think that we're besties in my head because she's
- 35:07Speaker 2: giving me incredible advice on hair. We all go through it.
- 35:12Speaker 2: We all torture our hair, coloring, heat styling, I mean
- 35:16Speaker 2: so much of it, scorching sun anyone. I'm still in
- 35:20Speaker 2: the heat in Santa Clarita. It's literally one hundred and
- 35:23Speaker 2: five decrees the other day. So when you are dealing
- 35:26Speaker 2: with this type of thing, I highly recommend the intensive
- 35:30Speaker 2: repair treatment. It has so much to give. It's clinically
- 35:34Speaker 2: proven to repair and rebuild all types of hair, and
- 35:37Speaker 2: it's a game changer. How can we not listen to Jen?
- 35:40Speaker 2: Jen was fed up with incessant damage and the choice
- 35:42Speaker 2: between using hair care products that worked versus those that
- 35:46Speaker 2: were genuinely beneficial, so she decided to create the product
- 35:51Speaker 2: that she wanted. She worked with chemists can you imagine
- 35:55Speaker 2: Jennifer working with chemists.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Oh, proprietary bond technology.
- 35:59Speaker 2: I love it so now she's delivering us both naturally
- 36:02Speaker 2: derived ingredients and high performance results derived from chia seeds.
- 36:07Speaker 2: This technology constructs a new protective cuticle around the hair
- 36:11Speaker 2: where damage begins to keep it healthy and looking its best.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Think of it as an all around defense against signs
- 36:18Speaker 2: of aging and damage on the hair. Yes, our hair ages,
- 36:22Speaker 2: but it doesn't have to look like that. And here's

- 38:20Speaker 2: Real Housewives of Potomac and talk about Stacy.
- 38:23Speaker 3: She's from Detroit, my hometown. I am so excited, and.
- 38:27Speaker 1: She dropped the area code three one.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Three, Babe.
- 38:30Speaker 2: When I heard that area code drop, I was losing
- 38:32Speaker 2: my mind. I was so happy about it because we
- 38:35Speaker 2: haven't really seen that since well, obviously, Kenya is from Detroit,
- 38:39Speaker 2: so we know that. I feel like there's someone else
- 38:41Speaker 2: that's from Detroit, but I don't know who it is.
- 38:43Speaker 2: But I'm glad that Stacy brought it hard, brought three
- 38:47Speaker 2: one three hard into this mix. So we learn a
- 38:51Speaker 2: lot about her in this episode because we see her
- 38:55Speaker 2: at home. We also see her on her walk with Ashley.
- 38:59Speaker 2: She has a home in Munich because her husband is
- 39:02Speaker 2: German and her oh yeah, her ex ex husband. But
- 39:06Speaker 2: at this point they're just separated, so I will say,
- 39:09Speaker 2: strange husband that they're living together to co parent Arabella.
- 39:15Speaker 2: And she's trilingual because she speaks German and Spanish and English.
- 39:21Speaker 4: Yes, and he is blurred out in pictures, so he
- 39:23Speaker 4: wants nothing to do with this show.
- 39:28Speaker 1: I mean usually the ex we see. So I was like,
- 39:31Speaker 1: what's going on with this guy?
- 39:32Speaker 4: Yeah, he's immediately googled, like you do, izy, what's he?
- 39:37Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 39:37Speaker 3: Yeah, did his face show up?
- 39:41Speaker 4: You know, I didn't image him, but I didn't do
- 39:44Speaker 4: Google image, but I did get his name th h
- 39:48Speaker 4: I E m.
- 39:48Speaker 1: O and then a rouche.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Anyway, I was like, buddy, I would have paid less
- 39:54Speaker 4: attention to you if you weren't blurred out.
- 39:56Speaker 3: I don't know how to say that thh I E
- 40:00Speaker 3: m o interesting like Timo Timo Timo, Yeah, Toulstin Gossen
- 40:09Speaker 3: Timo Timo. Okay, we I mean I have to like
- 40:12Speaker 3: get into the right.
- 40:15Speaker 2: So, yeah, she's still living with him, and they're gonna
- 40:17Speaker 2: be living together until mediation and then they're gonna tell
- 40:21Speaker 2: their daughter.
- 40:22Speaker 1: I mean, I never know the move on that.
- 40:24Speaker 4: So when she explained like we wanted to get things
- 40:26Speaker 4: in line, I was like, I guess that's a good idea.
- 40:29Speaker 3: It don't sounds fine to me.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Yeah, sounds like a pretty non contentious situation. Yeah, and
- 40:37Speaker 2: they're both dating people and yeah, and they're living like
- 40:41Speaker 2: I mean, our bell is not stupid. I'm sure she's
- 40:44Speaker 2: probably getting a vibe like, oh, that's interesting. When my
- 40:46Speaker 2: mom is out of town, my dad is here, And
- 40:49Speaker 2: when my dad's out of town, my mom is here,
- 40:50Speaker 2: you know.
- 40:50Speaker 1: So uh yeah, nothing's perfect. I get it.
- 40:55Speaker 4: So she's going to feel like lied to in some
- 40:57Speaker 4: way maybe when she gets older. But like, at the
- 40:59Speaker 4: same time, I'm like, what I mean.
- 41:01Speaker 3: I mean, what do you do it? What are you
- 41:02Speaker 3: gonna do perfect? Yeah, you're just gonna do you do it?
- 41:05Speaker 4: Uh.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Stacy and Ashley go for a walk, and I love that.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Ashley's like, do you cut your grass? Because I cut mine?
- 41:16Speaker 3: And stays are just like, should I know the name
- 41:18Speaker 3: of the person who cuts my grass?
- 41:19Speaker 4: Like?
- 41:19Speaker 3: Is that something?
- 41:22Speaker 4: No?
- 41:23Speaker 3: Probably not, because you're rich and you probably didn't set
- 41:27Speaker 3: it up and you probably had people do it, so I.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Mean, i'd want to know.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Still, i'd want to name and a number, and just
- 41:33Speaker 4: in case, like what if you're doing something that day
- 41:37Speaker 4: and you don't want them there someone else.
- 41:40Speaker 2: She's got an assistant, you know, she's not gonna deal
- 41:43Speaker 2: with that stuff. And I don't think T's gonna deal
- 41:46Speaker 2: with it either. So now they get into this very
- 41:51Speaker 2: interesting biracial discussion about their kids and Ashley explains to her,
- 41:56Speaker 2: you know, yes, my dad is white, my mom is black,
- 41:59Speaker 2: and I identify as a black woman.
- 42:01Speaker 3: But you know, she's struggling with her.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Boys, and you know, because Stacy says, how do you
- 42:07Speaker 2: identify your little boys? So Ashley has a very interesting
- 42:12Speaker 2: conversation by saying, like, well, you know, they don't have
- 42:15Speaker 2: the opportunity to be around a lot of their peers
- 42:19Speaker 2: that are black, and they don't have a lot of
- 42:20Speaker 2: exposure to that. So like she says, like me, I
- 42:24Speaker 2: was around my family and you know, people of color
- 42:28Speaker 2: color when I was raised, So they don't really have
- 42:30Speaker 2: the same situation. So she's really trying to do everything
- 42:35Speaker 2: she can to expose them to that. And Stacy obviously
- 42:40Speaker 2: can uh, you know, they can relate with this because
- 42:43Speaker 2: both of their kids are biracial, Which is a very
- 42:46Speaker 2: interesting conversation to have and also goes very much into
- 42:51Speaker 2: Potomac and how colorism and that whole theme. I don't
- 42:54Speaker 2: say theme, but issue has been a big part of
- 42:59Speaker 2: Potomac since for many, many seasons, and they've been very
- 43:03Speaker 2: transparent about that, and I've found that to be extremely
- 43:07Speaker 2: educating as a viewer, as a white person, and seeing like, oh,
- 43:12Speaker 2: this is something that I never really considered. I didn't
- 43:15Speaker 2: understand that, and so I like that. The conversation is
- 43:17Speaker 2: continuing by way of I'm talking about their kids.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Really great, Yeah for sure. What else did we learn
- 43:24Speaker 3: about Stacy? Oh?
- 43:26Speaker 2: Yes, that she is in a relationship with somebody and
- 43:33Speaker 2: he's a devout Christian and they're not intimate and he
- 43:36Speaker 2: doesn't want to have sex until marriage and they met
- 43:39Speaker 2: at his audition for QVC.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I mean, I have thoughts.
- 43:48Speaker 3: I do too, and I cannot I want an award
- 43:51Speaker 3: for it. Yeah, I can't have award.
- 43:53Speaker 1: To sell and care to get their hands around that way.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Yeah, well we're just gonna sit back and wait. But yeah,
- 44:01Speaker 2: it's only been a month, which is interesting. So no, wait,
- 44:05Speaker 2: what did she it's been months?
- 44:07Speaker 4: No? No, no, she said it's been a few months,
- 44:10Speaker 4: and then Ashley's like, oh, I thought you were going
- 44:12Speaker 4: to say a year.
- 44:13Speaker 1: And then she's like, well what if it was, And
- 44:17Speaker 1: then you get the.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Bigger picture that it's been several months, like of whatever,
- 44:23Speaker 4: this is okay.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so she's probably lightly saying you know, one, a couple,
- 44:31Speaker 2: a couple, a few months, which means like nine months. Yeah,
- 44:36Speaker 2: I mean, you know, to make it not sound as bad.
- 44:39Speaker 2: She knows she's going to be judged on it, and look,
- 44:41Speaker 2: I I don't know what to say. I mean, people
- 44:45Speaker 2: have their thing, you know, there are a lot of
- 44:47Speaker 2: people like that, and they're doing it for one reason
- 44:50Speaker 2: or another, and this may be one reason, or it
- 44:53Speaker 2: could be another.
- 44:53Speaker 3: You know, we just don't know.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, we'll see. Maybe She also was like, great,
- 45:00Speaker 1: now I have a I can like not like.
- 45:04Speaker 4: She seems to be going through this a lot differently
- 45:06Speaker 4: than like Ashley was saying in her confessional, So maybe
- 45:09Speaker 4: it's working for her too.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:12Speaker 2: And I don't know the logistics with certain people's divorces,
- 45:16Speaker 2: but it's also one of those things where if you
- 45:18Speaker 2: aren't legally divorced, sometimes you don't want to cross that
- 45:24Speaker 2: line physically until your divorce is you know, settled. M
- 45:31Speaker 2: So she might have her own reasons for that. Okay,
- 45:37Speaker 2: all right, So let's move on to Giselle's house with Karen,
- 45:42Speaker 2: and of course Karen, which we kind of already we
- 45:44Speaker 2: talked a little bit about. But the second Karen walks
- 45:49Speaker 2: in the house, she's like, she's I was like, so
- 45:52Speaker 2: you Ubert, right, did you Ubert.
- 45:56Speaker 3: Any second she gets.
- 45:58Speaker 2: And then Karen's like, oh, yeah, I thought the Attitude
- 46:02Speaker 2: party was an inquisition and Karen's like.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Oh for who.
- 46:07Speaker 2: She's like me, but the non alcoholic cron Dome was messy, Giselle,
- 46:12Speaker 2: and she's like, well, I just wanted people to know
- 46:15Speaker 2: the options.
- 46:20Speaker 4: It's good. Also, it could have been a million times
- 46:25Speaker 4: more of an inquisition.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Oh god, Yes, it was just a light dusting of questions.
- 46:31Speaker 3: Sure was.
- 46:31Speaker 2: And Karen cut it off at the past. She was like,
- 46:34Speaker 2: I want to know who was my real friend and
- 46:36Speaker 2: who isn't. So if that's not the case, I'm going
- 46:38Speaker 2: to uber my way on here.
- 46:40Speaker 4: You know.
- 46:40Speaker 3: She was like just throwing it down.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Yeah, And I don't know.
- 46:48Speaker 4: I just it's so different from what we're seeing with Shannon,
- 46:53Speaker 4: and that's fine, and I just like.
- 46:56Speaker 3: You're right.
- 46:57Speaker 2: I even for last week, I was all over the
- 47:00Speaker 2: comparison between Shannon and Karen and how the casts were
- 47:04Speaker 2: dealing with it and how it was different.
- 47:05Speaker 3: It was this week I completely forgot about it. But
- 47:08Speaker 3: thank you for bringing that up, because it is wildly different.
- 47:11Speaker 1: You know.
- 47:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm much more comfortable with Shannon's approach than Karen
- 47:19Speaker 4: I'm more entertained by Karen's approach, but I shouldn't be
- 47:23Speaker 4: because like, like it it's not her first time, Like
- 47:29Speaker 4: it is really actually pretty scary Karen stuff.
- 47:33Speaker 3: Yeah it is.
- 47:36Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, Whereas like Shannon, I'm like, get her shit together, Shannon.
- 47:42Speaker 3: Like I know, I'm trying, I know, I know, and
- 47:45Speaker 3: she's just falling apart.
- 47:46Speaker 4: Like but meanwhile, Karen like, buddy, this is worse, I think,
- 47:52Speaker 4: and like we're all kind of like, ah, crundum, go
- 47:57Speaker 4: get your reward.
- 48:01Speaker 3: So I don't know, it's the wards make it better, right?
- 48:05Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 48:06Speaker 3: Raised charges? He raised charges.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Time goes on, so we get into Giselle's father, and
- 48:13Speaker 2: you know, I remember this coming out in the news
- 48:14Speaker 2: that her father had passed away from a brain tumor.
- 48:16Speaker 2: And now while we're watching this, it has only been
- 48:19Speaker 2: ten months since he had passed. And we also find
- 48:23Speaker 2: found out that he had gotten a cat scan and
- 48:26Speaker 2: then when they found that tumor, and then it was
- 48:27Speaker 2: only ten days from that cat scan that he passed.
- 48:31Speaker 4: Yeah. I remember a little bit from the reunion on
- 48:33Speaker 4: this because people were kind of not so nice to her.
- 48:37Speaker 1: I think that was it.
- 48:38Speaker 3: On the reunion. Did she mention he had a brain tumor,
- 48:41Speaker 3: what he.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Had passed away, I think before the brain before the reunion.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Right, Oh, I'm sorry, I apologize. I think you're right.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but I guess, like I don't know. I just
- 48:56Speaker 1: remember it being.
- 48:59Speaker 4: Like, yeah, it's still very new, and so I guess,
- 49:02Speaker 4: like with the whole g and A thing, I guess
- 49:05Speaker 4: I was confused, like is this a fundraiser or is
- 49:08Speaker 4: this a new launch? Is this what is this?
- 49:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 49:12Speaker 4: And I didn't know it seemed much. So I was like, oh,
- 49:16Speaker 4: if I'm confused, and surely the gals are confused and
- 49:20Speaker 4: that's why they didn't know what event to goes to.
- 49:23Speaker 4: But then I was like, no, no, no, Karen's made
- 49:25Speaker 4: it really clear to them, or Giselle's made it very
- 49:27Speaker 4: clear to them.
- 49:28Speaker 1: This is about her dad and they need to be
- 49:31Speaker 1: there for her.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Right.
- 49:35Speaker 2: I just wonder if, like some of the proceeds that
- 49:39Speaker 2: they make from GNA are going to go towards this
- 49:43Speaker 2: Brain Tumor Society, because if that was the case, then
- 49:47Speaker 2: it seems like that would have been said, Okay, so
- 49:50Speaker 2: then it makes sense that it's under the umbrella of GNA.
- 49:54Speaker 4: Yeah, but I guess what I didn't understand it was
- 49:57Speaker 4: a relaunch of some kind of like a more hel
- 50:00Speaker 4: stick approach with right.
- 50:01Speaker 3: And yeah, no, this didn't make sense. I don't know.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like weeh holistic wellness, like we're gonna
- 50:12Speaker 2: pivot into holistic and wellness, whereas like it's supposed to
- 50:17Speaker 2: be apparel. And to me, I was thinking, Oh, maybe
- 50:21Speaker 2: the apparel line is just doing so poorly and they
- 50:23Speaker 2: just can't do this, that they're gonna just pivot and
- 50:25Speaker 2: this is like the excuse. So I'm now looking on
- 50:29Speaker 2: the GNA website and there's nothing on it, literally nothing
- 50:35Speaker 2: on it. There's nothing for sale. Okay, nothing for sale.
- 50:39Speaker 2: It's just pictures of them in GNA T shirts and
- 50:43Speaker 2: them doing a yoga retreat and holding up GNA T shirts.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Nothing is for sale that I can see, all right,
- 50:53Speaker 2: So well, yeah, it sounded like a swift way to
- 50:59Speaker 2: move into no vitamins.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I don't know, like I just didn't know, Like that's
- 51:06Speaker 1: what it felt like to me. For a second. I
- 51:07Speaker 1: was like, oh, are they going into like more.
- 51:10Speaker 2: Like yeah, like wellness right like turmeric shots, right, turmoric
- 51:16Speaker 2: however you say it.
- 51:19Speaker 1: So, but then we didn't see.
- 51:21Speaker 4: Anything but the room looked great, and I felt for Gizelle,
- 51:25Speaker 4: and I liked that the charity got a plug, but
- 51:28Speaker 4: I just was I just didn't get the GNA tie
- 51:31Speaker 4: in and the new rebrand.
- 51:32Speaker 1: I think I was more curious about the rebrand and
- 51:35Speaker 1: all of it, and then we didn't see that.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Yeah, well, much like Karen's event, you know, we don't
- 51:43Speaker 2: really see the nuts and bolts. The Potomac ladies are
- 51:46Speaker 2: really good at trying to deflect and show us other
- 51:49Speaker 2: things and not hoping that we're not going to ask questions.
- 51:53Speaker 4: And it's all the other kingdoms as well. I mean,
- 51:57Speaker 4: like you know, New York is we've ifinllly seen some
- 52:00Speaker 4: launches to nowhere.
- 52:02Speaker 2: So launches to nowhere I know, well, this is definitely
- 52:09Speaker 2: only the umbrella of like such a great cause that
- 52:11Speaker 2: I don't think anyone's going to really like hold the
- 52:13Speaker 2: feet to the fire because I found something really serious. Okay, wow,
- 52:20Speaker 2: So we get to what you're like, okay, wow, wow,
- 52:26Speaker 2: This six am text is coming up hot because when
- 52:30Speaker 2: Karen was at Gizelle's house, she was like, uh huh oh,
- 52:33Speaker 2: I'm getting an award and and so, but don't worry,
- 52:37Speaker 2: I'll be at your event and we'll be And so
- 52:39Speaker 2: it made it look like Karen's event was at like
- 52:42Speaker 2: one in the afternoon, maybe eleven am, a luncheon if
- 52:47Speaker 2: you will, and she would head on over to fem
- 52:50Speaker 2: Power and get her award and then just jump on
- 52:54Speaker 2: over to Gizelle's event after jigging up her glam. Not
- 52:59Speaker 2: the case, as we found out from the six a m.
- 53:04Speaker 2: Invitation to all the ladies that Karen is inviting them
- 53:08Speaker 2: to her event at the same time as Gizelle's and Ashley's,
- 53:13Speaker 2: I should say, and encourages them to support both, but
- 53:16Speaker 2: transportation is provided by Jazzy graciously provided. I'm sorry, yes, graciously,
- 53:25Speaker 2: And Gizelle's like go to her event by you know,
- 53:28Speaker 2: which I don't think, why is she This is a
- 53:30Speaker 2: bad look.
- 53:33Speaker 4: Yeah, And at first I just didn't quite get it,
- 53:36Speaker 4: And then the more I watched, I was like, yeah,
- 53:38Speaker 4: this is not good because in my mind also, I'm like, well,
- 53:42Speaker 4: they're gonna edit this and we're going to think they
- 53:44Speaker 4: spent the same time at both and it's all going
- 53:46Speaker 4: to shake out in the end. But I was glad
- 53:49Speaker 4: that that's not how that worked, because we would not
- 53:51Speaker 4: have realized we would have just thought that three of
- 53:54Speaker 4: them stayed with Karen and three went to But I'm
- 53:57Speaker 4: I'm glad that, Like Gizelle's like, no, this is this
- 54:01Speaker 4: is not cool, like you committed to.
- 54:04Speaker 2: This, and she gave her speech and they weren't there
- 54:07Speaker 2: for the speech. The thing is that when they called
- 54:10Speaker 2: Ashley from that sprinter van and they're like, well, we're
- 54:13Speaker 2: going here and then we'll be there by eight thirty,
- 54:15Speaker 2: It's like, what's the point.
- 54:17Speaker 3: You know, when it's an event where.
- 54:19Speaker 2: Someone speaking, you know they're already going to have spoken
- 54:22Speaker 2: by that point. And so Ash's like, if you don't
- 54:24Speaker 2: get here by eight, it's over.
- 54:26Speaker 4: Now.
- 54:29Speaker 2: The fact that they did split up is probably a
- 54:31Speaker 2: good thing, but at that point they should have just
- 54:33Speaker 2: split up to begin with. I think that these ladies,
- 54:35Speaker 2: especially because there are some new ones, didn't know really
- 54:38Speaker 2: what to do because they're just kind of going with
- 54:40Speaker 2: the agenda, with the exception of Vivian showed up, Jacqueline
- 54:43Speaker 2: showed up to Giselle's and they were like, yeah, we
- 54:46Speaker 2: were invited to this first, we're coming here.
- 54:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:49Speaker 1: And I was actually surprised that first of all, Charis,
- 54:53Speaker 1: come on, now, where were you she'll show up at
- 54:57Speaker 1: one of your events.
- 54:58Speaker 2: But also like banned her, Like, sorry, series, you cannot
- 55:02Speaker 2: show up to any of these events.
- 55:05Speaker 4: I was surprised Robin wasn't there, or maybe she wasn't
- 55:08Speaker 4: they didn't film her, but like, you know, she's an
- 55:10Speaker 4: actual Giselle friend.
- 55:12Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you're right.
- 55:14Speaker 4: Yeah, so I just thought that would have made sense
- 55:17Speaker 4: for her to be there. Hmm, but maybe it was
- 55:22Speaker 4: too early in the filmmaking.
- 55:24Speaker 3: And yeah, she was. Her feelings are hurt, I think
- 55:27Speaker 3: I understand.
- 55:28Speaker 4: But but.
- 55:30Speaker 3: What else?
- 55:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so the six am text and so yeah,
- 55:33Speaker 2: so she's encouraging him to go to both of them.
- 55:36Speaker 2: I really appreciated in that sprinter van that we got
- 55:39Speaker 2: the timeline, that we got the how long, mister driver, graciously,
- 55:45Speaker 2: how long will it take us to get from here
- 55:49Speaker 2: from Karen's event to Giselle's event?
- 55:53Speaker 3: Right? Twenty four minutes? Oh shit, well what are we
- 55:57Speaker 3: going to do?
- 55:58Speaker 2: Like the timeline is what I need and I wanted
- 56:01Speaker 2: to see, like why why didn't you guys leave so
- 56:03Speaker 2: much earlier?
- 56:04Speaker 3: Like you should have gone so so early?
- 56:08Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I guess did we. What time to Karen's
- 56:10Speaker 1: events start?
- 56:12Speaker 2: Is the other thing I was, you know, they had
- 56:14Speaker 2: several screenshots of the invitation and I just did not
- 56:17Speaker 2: want to land on it.
- 56:17Speaker 3: I even want something about I even read.
- 56:20Speaker 2: Something about Mother's Day on there, which does time out
- 56:24Speaker 2: to when they film Potomac. At least the current timeline,
- 56:28Speaker 2: they have typically filmed during Mother's Day, which is interesting because.
- 56:33Speaker 1: We had that big event last season on Mother's.
- 56:36Speaker 2: Day, right and remember Miami was filming at the same
- 56:38Speaker 2: time too, because they did a Mother's Day event and
- 56:40Speaker 2: Miami's filming right now right, well, so my but Miami
- 56:44Speaker 2: is Miami's timeline is off, so they're not filming like
- 56:47Speaker 2: they were last time.
- 56:49Speaker 3: But that's neither here nor there.
- 56:51Speaker 2: I just Jazzy graciously provided the transportation and that's what
- 56:55Speaker 2: I want to focus on. And so we did get
- 56:58Speaker 2: an understanding of what the timeline was, which was great.
- 57:01Speaker 3: And then when these three ladies showed up late to Giselle's,
- 57:05Speaker 3: she was.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Like, go bye, leave, You're not welcome here. Welcome out, Yeah,
- 57:10Speaker 2: welcome out.
- 57:12Speaker 4: If Wendy had been one of them that came in,
- 57:15Speaker 4: it would have been curtains for any kind of friendship.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Wow.
- 57:21Speaker 1: I mean they it was great to watch their faces,
- 57:23Speaker 1: like think that.
- 57:26Speaker 4: Giselle's harsh tone was her fun way of welcoming.
- 57:31Speaker 3: Yeah, oh, she's just being sassy. That's Giselle so cute.
- 57:43Speaker 1: I thought, you can disagree.
- 57:46Speaker 4: I thought I disagree, not have thrown them out. Wait what,
- 57:50Speaker 4: I don't think she should have thrown them out. I
- 57:52Speaker 4: thought that was too much.
- 57:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I mean great for the show.
- 58:00Speaker 1: On a personal level, I was like, I wouldn't have
- 58:03Speaker 1: done that. But that's also I'm not.
- 58:04Speaker 2: On right, well, we would do this, but I did think, like, well,
- 58:07Speaker 2: what are you doing? We should have just chosen to
- 58:09Speaker 2: come here. I invited you first. This is why would
- 58:12Speaker 2: you go there?
- 58:13Speaker 3: Why would you go there?
- 58:15Speaker 1: Like you were?
- 58:15Speaker 3: You already are SVP to this event?
- 58:19Speaker 1: Right? And they all had yes and only showed up.
- 58:24Speaker 3: And Wendy really doubled down.
- 58:26Speaker 2: She's like, I don't know about anyone else, but I
- 58:28Speaker 2: am here to see the Grand Dame receive an award.
- 58:31Speaker 2: And that's what I am gonna, gosh darn do if
- 58:33Speaker 2: it's the.
- 58:34Speaker 3: Last thing I do. Whoa Wendy, whoa like geez.
- 58:40Speaker 2: But the fact that Wendy didn't show up and if
- 58:42Speaker 2: she are SVP to Giselle I mean it steps backwards
- 58:45Speaker 2: for them, steps backwards.
- 58:47Speaker 4: But it would have been much worse if Wendy showed
- 58:50Speaker 4: up with them, Yeah, because because showing.
- 58:54Speaker 1: Up and then having Giselle kick her out, it would
- 58:57Speaker 1: have oh right, really.
- 58:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a great point.
- 59:00Speaker 2: By the way, the fact that Jacqueline was there and
- 59:03Speaker 2: she called the Hattitude.
- 59:05Speaker 3: Party the Hatation Party killed me and I was like,
- 59:11Speaker 3: so here for that, and nobody corrected her.
- 59:17Speaker 2: To Giselle, She's like, no, but at the Hatation Party,
- 59:21Speaker 2: you know, she said that she was going to be
- 59:24Speaker 2: able to make it to her name.
- 59:25Speaker 3: It just was so good hat ration and Mary J.
- 59:32Speaker 3: Bibe like new track dropped, like the.
- 59:36Speaker 4: Way the names that Giselle gave it that thing they
- 59:39Speaker 4: like really like at first it was like a king
- 59:42Speaker 4: and a queen and then it was like you're a
- 59:44Speaker 4: you're new so derby you.
- 59:48Speaker 1: We're calling you Derby. Yeah, like the name of the hat.
- 59:51Speaker 4: Right, we're in the bucket together, so I'm calling you
- 59:56Speaker 4: bucket bucket hat.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna give you this spaceball hat because you are
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: in the batting cage, because people are beating you up
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: right now figuratively.
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: Metaphor batting cage would actually be good. She just started
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: naming people the types of hats that had nothing to do,
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: like Jerby doesn't mean any new friendship, what does that
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: even mean?
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: I mean, you know what would have been a great
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: one is like a funeral hat with the little lace
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: black lace over it, because yeah, because you're dead to me,
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: let's do a hat a ration party and make it better,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: you know, yeah.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: I think. And also Karen wearing that that was like
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: that Billy Porter hat.
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: I wanted there's to be some kind of nod to
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: Billy Porter's bead hat that opened up. Do you remember
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: that he wore on the red carpet? It's a meme
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: now and like a gift of like his hat opens
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: and closes with.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: The oh really I haven't seen that?
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Cool anyway, any bad way back to award.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: We got a you know what we should do on
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Drama Darling is the Grand dam Darling Awards and just
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: like everyone gets her the host.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Oh no, we'll give her an award and she'll show up.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well yeah, there you go.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: We should give her an award on the podcast.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: Okay, that sounds like a great plan. Okay, guys, if
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: you have any ideas and what her award should actually be.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Let us know, and then we'll approach her.
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: We'll definitely approach her.
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: We'll call it something like World Leader's Feminine Power Community.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Nation, and then we'll have we'll be like, we would
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: like to give you the twenty four title of Improvement.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: Well, thank you. Delighted she even accepts shady awards.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: She does not care.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: She doesn't care.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll get it on. We'll get up nice piece
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: of glass and we'll write it out.
