- The Lets Play Podcast: Welcome to the Let's Play podcast. My name's Tyler and I'm bringing you guys a new type of audio experience. I'm gonna be playing Baldur's Gate 3. And yeah, we're ⁓ we're gonna be playing the Dark Urge origin story. I'm going to go with the Fighter class. So I'm giving myself for my stats, ⁓ I'm giving myself an eight for strength, a sixteen for dexterity. F fourteen for intelligence, twelve for wisdom, and eight for spell. Yeah, so this is what my guy looks like. I got a nice white white scales with a little bit of black tip or blue-tip horns. Looking pretty badass. Dark Urge, and this is my guardian. I've already messed around with her. She's got some scarring on there. She's got some black hair. Kinda up there. Alright, let's venture for. Let's start this shit. So we got the fucking mine flare in front of us right here. We're in the giant pool room still. He's leaving us now. ⁓ damn, he's got all those dead guys on the floor. These guys are kinda weak low key. Well if all this dude's just like, alright, time to go to the next city. Like there's no care in the world. That those tentacles are fucking creepy as fuck. But he's flying over like this town. Got a bell tower there. Yeah, to be they like the guard on the shift to see that bro. Like what the fuck? those stairs to get to the bell. It's over. My dude is dead. The fucking pentacle ship is just sucking everybody up. Right. How many fucking things can this thing hold? Whoa. We got some dragons coming in. So I guess the Gith live in like the fucking I don't know in s the space realm. Like they can breathe them there, so they just fucking go around fighting fucking mine flares. It's like their whole like life. That'd be pretty dope to have a dragon though. fucking dragon save this guy the last second it's pretty badass. ⁓ boy. The dragons ripping in. You know I noticed when they were attacking the ship like the fucking dude was getting hurt from it. He was it's like they're like connected or something. just teleported to some fucking ice realm right there with him Did the get the get they're pretty badass low-key. They just like go around saving universes and realms. Like what a job. I like the Avengers before the Avengers. Zell's struggling in the mission. ⁓ my god. This fucking dragon just blew everybody up. That dragon is pissed they did not get anybody. I'm gonna be real. That dragon was pissed. Alright, I'm waking up. Crash ship. Fucking lies, I'll better pick my ass up or help me out. Or she's not gonna be in the fucking party. So yeah, I've only played this game. I played it up to act three one time, didn't finish it, so I have I don't know what this game you know what it entails. And I've always played a druid. So I'm gonna do the fighter. So it should be interesting. But we got a bunch of fucking imps flying in. is going on like we just spawned in in like the middle of a war or something? Like why is there fucking ten billion imps here? But ⁓ yeah let's fucking load into the game. So yeah, ⁓ I'm just fucking pumped to fucking n you know, get this started. But fucking go. I'm gonna have Shadow Heart attack this lesser imp on the left side. She hits for five damage. Not bad for Shadow Heart, all considering Since she normally misses like every fucking shot and every just everything. She's going to attack the lesser boar and then she walks right into the fire. Butter with We're moving everybody so I'm not just having people walking through fire and stuff, but we'll get better. We'll get better. Alright, ⁓ end turn. It's the imp's turn. He's flying and he's gonna shoot fucking Lyselle. ⁓ my god, thank god the Mind Flair hit his fucking big blast in the beginning. And then gets hit for 14 damage. Alright, we're gonna go up. We're bringing my guy up. Dark Urge, and so I think we're gonna do Frost Breath. And really just blast this guy for five damage. And maybe it'll do a little bit of it'll like freeze him, but it doesn't look like any effects went on him. So we're gonna do a combo strike on him. 20%. Yeah, that's a miss. Alright, end turn. Shadow Heart, we're gonna keep attacking this lesser imp and she kills him. This is what we wanted. We're happy with this. We are happy with this. We're gonna put Shield of Faith on the mine floor. Just to kind of keep him alive a little bit longer to help us kill the stucker. Um's gonna walk up. And we're going to. Yeah, we can attack him with our sword, so we're gonna just might as well shoot him with the bow. 85% chance to hit. Two damage, ⁓ It's okay. It's us's turn, this little brain guy. Have this guy come up. We might as well have this guy dash. Just go right in front of the imp so maybe he can take some of the damage instead of Lysel. And literally imp tries to hit hit him and misses. Mind Flare hit him for 11. Ignore the devil. The fucking devil fucking misses on the Mind Flare. Fuck that. We're killing this guy. Lacer Laceration? Ooh. I only have a twenty percent chance to hit. go behind them still only 20%? Wow. Well that's probably the weapon I'm using. I need to find one that's finesse. Isel misses everything. to wait one turn on the on the brain guy and the mind player hits him for 17 he's 48 away 48 points away I think these guys are two turns away from hitting me So I really just gotta we really gotta kill this guy. Dark urge misses, you fucking bastard. And then I'm gonna have him run this way just in case some fucking guys come in. Ooh, we gotta add dragon flying around. Hurry before they strike! Let's go, let's go, let's go, I'm going up. I'm gonna use second wind just to kill myself just in case I take some damage right here from these guys. This in turn, he attacks us, and this other imp attacks us as well. And he misses, that's what I'm talking about. This mineflyer is getting fucked up. Alright, we're ⁓ Focus. I don't think I can save her, so I'm just going to have to use the transponder. Right. You made it in time. characters connecting it and the dragon is coming in to fucking ⁓ Jesus. So I just took a fucking fire breath to the fucking face. Like fucking hit the goddamn transponder. Fucking flying around. Flying to the cosmos. My guy's flying around. I'm gonna be pausing most of these load screens just in case this stuff does take a long time. And we are back. Alright, we're flying in. Ship is just crashing down. We got like some tiefling girl kinda inspecting it. And we got a d a draw woman. That's the girl I want in my party. And we got a hobgoblin. We got looks like all the goblins are going out chasing this fucking shit. ⁓ man, the thing is about to explode. And my guy is Fucking mind flowers looking at me. I just got hit in the face by some debris and fell out of the ship. This is like my worst fear in life. ⁓ Fucking horrible. Wow. Last minute save there. Last minute save. Come respect, can respect. Alright, so I'm lying down on the beach. My character's kinda waking up. Whoa. I felt like I was gonna have like a vivid memory there or something. But I've woken up on the beach, there's a bunch of just ash falling around everywhere. Like eyes just kinda like looking around like we're be I half expected your memories to return once you were free of the mind flair ship. But your past is still an aching void. If you don't find a way to remove the tadpole burrowed in your brain soon, your future will be as blank as your past. Your head whispers vengeance. You cannot wait to slice your way forth, seeking whatever wrought this tragedy upon you. Interesting. Interesting. Go to the personal chest in camp during a long rest to find some of your ne unique DLC items. I didn't even know I had DLC items. Alright, well let's go fucking we're on the beach. The fucking mine third tentacles are still fucking like moving around, that's so fucking creepy. ⁓ I can wake for her, reach for the artifact, or leave. ⁓ I'm just gonna wake her. Mm. You rely. How this possible? Fuck if I know. I was hoping you might know that. Doesn't or I can say it doesn't matter if we made it. Honestly it doesn't matter. Seems like we're the lucky ones, judging by all the corpses strained about. Yeah, pretty much that. So ⁓ what now? Do you have any ideas where we are? What happened to our guest friend? So you guys are either gonna get two to three episodes per week. Just depends on when I can record, you know, I got a busy schedule. just with like the Christmas season kinda coming up. But yeah, I'm really looking forward to playing these games and bringing them to you. So I'm thinking, you know play through a ⁓ Baldur's Gate 3 and I'm also wanting to start the Witcher 3 because I've never played any of the Witcher games. So I'm thinking since the remake remake is coming in like 11 days or so, we'll play through BG3. And then we'll play a little bit of Witcher 3, and then I'm thinking until Fable probably drops. We'll probably maybe play a little bit ⁓ Harry Potter legacy or what kind of the seaweed you guys are feeling. But ⁓ yeah, thank you guys for ⁓ being here.
