- 0:02This is an Unspoiled Network podcast. This is spoil Me, covering one piece
- 0:12episodes five eleven through five thirteen, Unexpected Relanding Loofy to Marine Ford with hopes
- 0:21that will reach my friends, Big News spreading fast, and Pirates get on
- 0:25the move astounding New World. In these episodes, we do a whole lot
- 0:35of jumping around and checking in on people that we haven't seen in a minute.
- 0:40And I'm gonna be honest, my friends, this is gonna be really
- 0:43challenging for me to talk about. Welcome to spoil Me, Welcome to the
- 1:07show. Everyone. I am Natasha. Thank you very much to Michael for
- 1:11commissioning this episode. Look at me being prepared to actually give credit where it's
- 1:15due. So thank you. Michael appreciates you a great deal. Yeah,
- 1:21so, guys, here's the thing. This is one of those sections where
- 1:30we basically visit almost everybody we have ever met in the series of note and
- 1:38thank you. Florian is in the chat saying I will try and help with
- 1:42names and stuff. Yeah that will be necessary because my friends, I absolutely
- 1:49am not going to get some of these and there is a big part of
- 1:55me that feels like I don't even need to worry about getting it that right,
- 2:00because I feel like a lot of these check ins are just to be
- 2:05like, hey, remember this guy, Yeah, we liked them, right,
- 2:07and that it's actually not going to turn out to be something that's like
- 2:12that significant. Ultimately, it's just a little bit of a nod for fans
- 2:16to you know, have their oh they're still out there doing their thing kind
- 2:23of moment, you know what I'm saying. So I'm trying not to let
- 2:29myself be too bothered by the fact that I can't remember everybody. And it's
- 2:35not just the names. It's also the fact that because this jumps around the
- 2:40way that it does, it's gonna be kind of hard for me to talk
- 2:46about in some ways because I'm just gonna be like, then we go to
- 2:49blank, then we go to blank, and it's going to sound really abrupt,
- 2:55but like that's actually the way that the episode is. It's just smash
- 3:00cuts to different locations, and a lot of times there's like very little context
- 3:07given. It's just you know, a location, and sometimes they'll put the
- 3:12person's name, not always. Of course, I'm also watching this on Hulu,
- 3:15and I know that like on Fundamation and stuff, it's a little different
- 3:17the way that they will translate when characters are on the screen, whereas on
- 3:23Hulu they don't give me those translations. That doesn't tend to be an issue
- 3:28for the most part, because that's somewhat rare, but it is sort of
- 3:30frustrating that Hulu doesn't do that. But uh, you know, it's I
- 3:38just want to preface this by apologizing, because I know it's gonna sound kind
- 3:42of like all over the place, and I'm there's not a lot I can
- 3:47do about that if I'm talking about this correctly and just telling you what's going
- 3:53on. Also, because of the fact that we jump aroun to so many
- 4:00people, what happens is very little forward movement on the plots with our other
- 4:10straw hat friends like the I am growing impatient. I'll say that with how
- 4:25long everybody is taking on their respective islands getting their shit together, we actually
- 4:31have and I'll just jump into this now. Chopper turning around and coming back
- 4:39to the Bird Island, which if I'm being honest, didn't get me as
- 4:48upset as I thought it would because of the way the episode wound up ending,
- 4:56So at first I was sort of like, well, wait, what
- 4:59the fuck are you doing? Because he does this thing Chopper tries to do
- 5:08an oosop where he's got like a mask and is saying, I just look
- 5:13a lot like Chopper, but I'm not him. He's a totally different person.
- 5:18I'm Chopper the mask and is He's attempting to do this sort of like
- 5:24superhero alter ego type thing to hide the shame that he's feeling over turning around
- 5:30and coming back to the island instead of going to see his friend. And
- 5:35I was taken aback by him turning around because, to be honest, the
- 5:41reaction he has to finding out that Lufi has returned to Marine Ford, there
- 5:46was nothing about his reaction that pointed to him even considering turning around. So
- 5:51when he showed back up on the island, I was genuinely surprised. Like
- 5:56the way that that section of the story begins is we watch him read the
- 6:01article and kind of freak out, and then after a jump to somebody else,
- 6:08we return to like the Bird Island and we have the like tribes people
- 6:13talking about how they're going to miss him, and I started to be like,
- 6:16oh my god, wait, why would we come back here. It's
- 6:20got to be that Chopper turns up again, and why would he? And
- 6:25I had sort of anticipated that he would have gotten hurt or something, but
- 6:30what he ends up saying, so he eventually, after trying to like humor
- 6:35him and be like, sure, Chopper the mask, it's actually kind of
- 6:41adorable that Chopper finally is like, I don't like, I don't need your
- 6:44pity. It's fine, fine, it's me Chopper. But he says like,
- 6:49I want to learn more from you guys about your medicine and everything,
- 6:55and one of the tribes people leads him to a library. Now it's sort
- 7:01of wild that the way that these people are being portrayed is like, oh,
- 7:11they only like look and sound stupid, but actually they've got like a
- 7:16whole town with you know, stone built homes and a library and language and
- 7:24everything. And I really felt like the fact that it's oh, these people
- 7:30only look and sound stupid is already like just so deeply problematic because of the
- 7:35way they're being depicted to begin with just saying that, but also then trying
- 7:41to sort of walk it back and be like, no, despite what you
- 7:45thought, they actually have technology, like look at their weapons and stuff.
- 7:49And I it just felt like we were trying to do a don't judge a
- 7:55book by its cover thing, but in one of the most lazy ways I've
- 7:59ever scene, where it just felt like this is just retcon. It didn't.
- 8:03I wasn't buying it, you know what I mean, I just I'm
- 8:07not. I'm so sorry. I want to buy it because I want Chopper
- 8:13to be able to advance, and I you know, they have this whole
- 8:16library and everything. Resources are obviously there, so I'm not trying to take
- 8:20that away from Chopper. But what I'm saying is that personally, there was
- 8:24a real feeling for me of like Odo wants to get Chopper on his way
- 8:31to progressing significantly and was thinking maybe I'll have him stop somewhere else, and
- 8:37then was like, no, no, no, let me just make it
- 8:39be these people, and like took it back and was just like, let's
- 8:43have him turn around. And I am being ungenerous. I don't really believe
- 8:50that's like exactly how it went down, but it just sort of feels like
- 8:54how it went down, And so there's a real sense for me of like,
- 9:00so, wait, Chopper was there for however long he was, and
- 9:03he didn't see this library. He didn't get to find out about the fact
- 9:09that they have written like all of this is just a big surprise, and
- 9:13the explanation that we're given is just like, well, our people got so
- 9:18sick and we couldn't take care of them that everything else fell by the wayside.
- 9:24Okay, I guess whatever. However, despite all of that and my
- 9:31feelings on it, I you guys know that I have been a little bit
- 9:37saddened when our crew is together at the fact that Chopper always has to be
- 9:43the one that watches the ship because he just isn't really able to fight that
- 9:48well. He can take a rumble ball and hold his own in an emergency,
- 9:52but he can only take so many of those before shit goes left.
- 9:56They can only do so much, they only last along. And so the
- 10:03fact that he's like, you know what, I'm gonna stay here until I
- 10:05actually reach a point where I can be of help to Loofy. I'm not
- 10:11gonna lie. I was actually like a little bit maybe that's something. Now,
- 10:16the question is how is that going to manifest? Because clearly he's in
- 10:26a library, he's not in a training ground with like, you know,
- 10:31a dojo and people. That's not to say that these tribes folks wouldn't teach
- 10:35him how to fight, but we're being set up for not him learning how
- 10:39to physically fight better, but for him to acquire knowledge via this library somehow.
- 10:48So based on the fact that Chopper's abilities have been accentuated via the rumble
- 10:56balls that he has made, my assign is that whatever advancement Chopper is going
- 11:03to manage will be due to some kind of like pill, other kind of
- 11:09like potion, something that we can pretend to sort of pseudo medical, and
- 11:16he will have either found a way to make things last longer or not have
- 11:20as many side effects, be able to take more of them without having the
- 11:24kind of you know, beast form that he winds up with. I think
- 11:30that it's going to be. Like my concern about that, though, is
- 11:37that it's one thing to be able to make yourself big and strong, but
- 11:41if you're still not really like a great fighter, if you're not trained,
- 11:48how effective is that going to be? Really? And I guess it depends
- 11:54on the opponent and the situation, because like it seems as if in the
- 12:01cartoon sort of logic of this world that what happens when he takes the rumble
- 12:07balls is that he also becomes a better fighter, Like it's the knowledge comes
- 12:16over him at once. He takes it because it's like part and parcel with
- 12:20actually being physically bigger and stronger. So I'm just gonna go ahead and like
- 12:26assume that's the conceit here. All this to say, I want for Chopper
- 12:37to grow stronger, so I'm not as mad about him turning around as I
- 12:41could have been. But it's only an example of how slowed down things have
- 12:48become for a lot of the others. Sona me. It turns out that
- 12:54despite like taking this one wizard I don't know what else to call him hostage,
- 13:01she is still stuck and they have evidently like shut down a lot of
- 13:07the other exits to this island, so she is still there with no apparent
- 13:16exit. And this dude is like shockingly chill about the fact that she took
- 13:20him hostage. He really does not seem to hold this against her in any
- 13:26way, which you know. I don't like to use the word simp.
- 13:31He gets thrown around a lot. I think it's problematic. It's often just
- 13:35used to insult men who give a shit about women and caring for them.
- 13:41However, the way that this dude just will let Nami do whatever and not
- 13:50like he will express the mildest disapproval or disappointment. Otherwise he is straight up
- 13:58always gonna take it. I feel like simp applies to this guy. I
- 14:03feel like this is just gonna be one of the few instances where I'm like,
- 14:07yeah, that's the word to use. Though, And Nami has the
- 14:11weirdest reaction, you guys, because she reads the newspaper about how Lufy is
- 14:15going back to h I keep wanting to say, impel down Marine Ford,
- 14:20and she says, what about my feelings? Though? Huh? So selfish?
- 14:28And I know that the joke is supposed to be the fact that she's
- 14:31actually really selfish here and demanding, like, you know, what about my
- 14:37feelings? Is there's like no reason for him to consider that, But I
- 14:41didn't really understand what she even meant about her feelings. I feel like maybe
- 14:48it's supposed to be just the fact that she is going to be worried about
- 14:50him going back, and that's the thing that she's sort of like, well,
- 14:54he did ever occur to him how much it would worry that he has
- 15:01returned to the scene of this war, but I you know, it was
- 15:05just a weird moment where I was like her feelings, Wait, what do
- 15:09you mean. I also just want to address that everybody is calling the war
- 15:18the War of the Best. I just my question on that is whether that's
- 15:28like a translation issue. The War of the Best feels so like weak.
- 15:39You know, that was really something that went down there, and I feel
- 15:43like the War of the Best just doesn't capture it, and there's something about
- 15:50it just being the best, as if we're just going to accept that everybody
- 15:56who was like top of their game was there when we know that like they
- 16:00weren't in the end, like you know, Shanks showed up sort of toward
- 16:06the end of things. We know that dark Lord really he didn't partake in
- 16:12the battle or anything. There were a lot of people that are like powerful
- 16:18and they weren't in the mix. And I just feel like the War of
- 16:22Marine Ford or something would be more appropriate. It's just odd to me,
- 16:27And this is something that happens that I think is actually really funny in like
- 16:33comic book stuff as well. If you have like a comic book story that
- 16:37is well known enough and you adapt that comic book to a movie, for
- 16:47the big screen. A lot of times, the people who are creating this
- 16:52will not consider the fact that something they just put into the movie as a
- 16:59given that the audience will know what it is. Maybe they don't. And
- 17:03this happened in the Spider Verse movies. There's a point in which he just
- 17:10calls his uncle the Prowler, and it's like that name was never used by
- 17:15anybody in the movie, but he calls him that with like a capital P.
- 17:18My uncle's the Prowler, and nobody has used that name, but it's
- 17:22simply brought up and everybody is like, oh, yeah, we all know
- 17:26who that is, you know. And in the most recent like X Men
- 17:30movie, there's a character who's like, call me such and such and they
- 17:33have gone by a completely different name, but they just drop this fully formed
- 17:37name out of nowhere in a conversation because that's the name they go by in
- 17:41the comics, and it just feels really strange. And that's sort of how
- 17:45I felt about War of the Best. It's like it just appears people just
- 17:48start saying it's called the War of the Best, and everybody's calling it that,
- 17:52even though it like I don't remember us all deciding that that's what it
- 17:57was going to be called, and it doesn't quite feel right to me,
- 18:02but you know, it's fine, Florian says, I know it as the
- 18:07Summit War in the fandom. I like that. I prefer that some at
- 18:12War feels like more about It feels more like what actually happened, Like there's
- 18:19a big meeting. War of the Best almost makes it sound like a competition,
- 18:25like a battle that was organized somehow, like that would be the name
- 18:30of a WWE storyline, you know. But some at War it's like a
- 18:38there's something a little bit more chaotic sounding about that, and I prefer that.
- 18:44However, in the dub they do say War of the Best repeatedly,
- 18:48so I'll probably read that in the subtitles, but I think I'd like to
- 18:51go ahead with some at War from here on. So all right, let's
- 18:55talk about Loofy landing at Marine Ford, because I'm still not entirely sure what
- 19:02it is that's going on here. I think that it's supposed to be loufy,
- 19:08because you know, the whole title of this episode is like or the
- 19:12next episode, I guess is like, you know, so that my in
- 19:17the hopes that will reach my friends so my assumption had been that basically he's
- 19:26doing this to just let everybody know that he's okay and where to meet up.
- 19:32That this is, you know, we have a change in plan,
- 19:36and I think that there's you know, him paying his respects and whatnot is
- 19:47just meant to be sort of a ploy. But I don't really so the
- 19:57paying of the respects to there's somebody else later who really like gets a little
- 20:02bit more detailed on the number of rings that he gives, the bell and
- 20:07everything, and we'll get there. But we start off with all of these
- 20:12reporters standing around and taking pic taking pictures, and it's sort of it's kind
- 20:21of funny because like simultaneously Lufy is relying on these newspapers to share the word
- 20:27with his friends. But it also feels like the way that this is written
- 20:33that the author has nothing but contempt for reporters a little bit like the conversation
- 20:40and the way it goes, uh is she's saying like, supposedly straw Hat
- 20:44could already be dead, and she's like smile, Like they're both too bright
- 20:48eyed and and have toothy grins as they're talking about this, and this guy's
- 20:55like, look what they're dealing with here, uh, And we have a
- 21:00flash back to Whitebeard saying that the one piece is real, and they're both
- 21:06talking about how apparently now that he has said that, it's set off a
- 21:10whole thing with pirates and they're acting up more than they used to, and
- 21:15one of them just says, well, how unfortunate for them, with a
- 21:18real sense of like sucks to suck, but it's sort of gleeful, like
- 21:26I have to say that it's unfortunate, even though I'm personally super excited because
- 21:33I'm going to be able to get a lot of great stories out of this
- 21:36is the vibe, you know. And they all sort of turn because this
- 21:42ship is coming in that everybody thinks has Navy soldiers on it, but we
- 21:47know Lufy has taken over with June Bay and Railey, and they don't go
- 21:51to the dock like they were expected, so everybody's just sort of like,
- 21:53what the hell are they doing? Why are they still coming in? And
- 21:59then it on the crowd, which was just I was like, why what
- 22:07are we doing? Somebody says a blank shot, So I'm assuming it's supposed
- 22:12to be just the explosion without an actual cannon in there, but it was
- 22:19like they're trying to get everybody's attention, and Loofy is standing on the deck,
- 22:26and of course all the reporters just begin to go absolutely wild. They
- 22:30think that he is here for revenge. The Marines are like, all right,
- 22:36we're gonna sink at the ship. Don't let him get anywhere near us,
- 22:38understandably, and we have all of this like Jimbay using his wild fishman
- 22:47powers to keep these the cannon fire from actually hitting the ship. And then
- 22:55really he just picks up what looks to be some little they're like many cannon
- 23:00blows. I want to call them ball bearings, to be honest. They
- 23:04look like bullets, but they're bigger than that, and he throws them and
- 23:08they just like explode in mid air. I think, to just sort of
- 23:14create cover for them, because he's not really trying to hurt anybody, it
- 23:18doesn't seem like. So everybody who is on shore is watching this and just
- 23:22like, wait, what the hell are they doing. As the ship continues
- 23:26to sail around the island and not dock like they're just it, there is
- 23:33an expectation of the way that this ship is going to behave because they think
- 23:37they know why Lufy's here. But then as they watch him continuing to circle
- 23:41the island, one of them says, it's like a funeral at sea,
- 23:48which was interesting because I didn't I'm not familiar with that tradition, and I'm
- 23:55assuming that this is, you know, actually based on something. But I
- 24:00was glad that the dialogue had them specifically say that, and they say a
- 24:03couple other things later as well, and I was like, okay, because
- 24:07I would never have the context for that. So some way is saying this
- 24:12is a taunt. They think that they can just bury us alive without all
- 24:15of our other people here, So fire at will. And the ship begins
- 24:21to come into like the main bay area where the whole war took place,
- 24:26and it's coming in very hot, and all of a sudden we see an
- 24:33arm stretch out and Loofy comes to He pulls Railey and Jimbay out of the
- 24:42wreckage with him onto the dock. And my question immediately was like, but
- 24:52what about all the marines that they had tied up on the deck of the
- 24:56ship, Like you know, we saw the there was like twenty of them
- 25:00and they were just tied up like it just very much felt like, we're
- 25:04just gonna let them all sink to their deaths, and as long as my
- 25:08guys are safe and they got out, who cares. But that was very
- 25:12much on my mind. I'm not gonna lie. So Loofy runs to this
- 25:19bell, and everybody, like you know, gets taken down by one person
- 25:25or another and gets swept out of the way. He gets to this bell
- 25:29and he begins to ring, and we find out later I didn't count while
- 25:33it was happening. I'll be honest that it was eighteen times. I think
- 25:37that he rang it. So it's a pretty long scene. As it's ringing,
- 25:42we get panned. The camera pans around the island to all of the
- 25:45people and their reactions to this, and nobody is really trying to stop him.
- 25:51This is anime logic, right, Once somebody begins to do a thing
- 25:55that's like shocking, absolutely nobody moves a muscle until they're done with that thing,
- 26:00because we have to let it all sink in first and really underline the
- 26:06drama of the moment. So eventually, when he stops, everybody who has
- 26:12sort of stood around watching this thing, it's almost like they're beginning to lose
- 26:19their fear of him because he's not behaving like he wants revenge. She's not
- 26:23attacking anybody unless they're trying to stop him from getting to his bell, so
- 26:27maybe it's fine. And he hops off the little dais where the bell is
- 26:33kept, and this is when he holds his hat in front of him and
- 26:41lowers his eyes and stands with this like attitude of respect. And he also
- 26:51has flowers. I forgot about the flowers thing that he pulls out of his
- 26:52pockets and like drops into the sort of ravine there. And this is when
- 26:56you have like the woman's report saying this is going to make for a great
- 27:02photo, and she takes the picture of him with the Marines in the background
- 27:06with their swords raised and all of the smoke around him and everything. It's
- 27:11very funny to me how the Marines are just literally standing there with their weapons
- 27:15raised doing fucking nothing. They are so useless. What do you even hear
- 27:18for, guys. So as they're taking this photo, there's this huge whale
- 27:25that comes flying up out of the water, and it's just I I am
- 27:30assuming that this is uh And I can't remember if this is specifically mentioned or
- 27:33not, but I'm assuming that this was Jimbee doing something to create a distraction
- 27:41so that he is able to run over everybody's heads and just get away in
- 27:47the midst of all of this, and they're continuing to watch and wondering,
- 27:49like what the hell is going on here? Like what was the point of
- 27:52that? But the story is going to be huge, whether or not they
- 27:56know the reason for what he did. It's just it's being framed as he's
- 28:04doing something daring to pay tribute to the people who lost their lives. It
- 28:10seems like what really's idea was is we want to keep your friends from going
- 28:15to Sabaoudi because they could be in danger still, so we will do something
- 28:21big and splashy to let them know to come to marine Ford instead. Except
- 28:29wouldn't marine Ford be worse? So I feel like I must be misunderstanding the
- 28:33point, or that there must be some sort of message embedded in the like
- 28:41maybe, well, there's something written on his arm. I forgot about that,
- 28:45that the Princess from Alabasta notices and maybe the eighteen rings like ties in
- 28:52with that somehow. I don't remember what the writing is on his arm,
- 28:56but I'm gonna we'll get there. Eventually and we'll take a look at that.
- 29:00But yeah, this is when we have the beginnings of the scenes where
- 29:04we go all over the world and we see how everybody is reacting to the
- 29:10news that he has not only escaped, but then he comes and plays in
- 29:15their faces at the fucking sight of the battle, and then just is able
- 29:18to fucking take off again. And there's the meeting with this dude with the
- 29:26green hair, and he's got that weird white and blue striped like suit outfit.
- 29:34I don't remember this character's face or design, so it felt like I
- 29:42was thrown into this conversation that he's having with these other I don't know if
- 29:47they're warlords or if I think they must be marines. There a lot of
- 29:51them are wearing like the uniforms, but maybe admirals or vice admirals or something.
- 29:56But I was just I felt like I was supposed to know who this
- 30:00is, and he is not ringing a bell for me at all. So
- 30:04you know, it may just be that it slid right off of my smooth
- 30:08brain, because you guys know, there's a lot of characters to keep track
- 30:12of in this series, and they're not all going to make an impression,
- 30:17and he he doesn't have that memorable a character design, to be perfectly honest,
- 30:22no offense, dude, but you've got a lot of competition for memorable
- 30:26character design in this show. So he's talking to all of them about like
- 30:33that this is a humiliation. He rung the bell, not twice as is
- 30:38customary, but a whopping sixteen times. My bad, I thought he said
- 30:42eighteen, but sixteen. There's no doubt in my mind that this is a
- 30:47challenge to us. And then we see the faces of these like older men
- 30:52who they definitely do ring bells. There's the one that has he's almost got
- 30:57like a Hasidic jew sort of look to him, where he has like the
- 31:02really pronounced curled hair and heavy beard and a scar on his temple, and
- 31:14he's saying like, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. There's another guy with
- 31:18real long, droopy mustache and hair. I'm curious as to how he and
- 31:22Raley know each other. I highly doubt Raley intended to rejoin the Fray.
- 31:29Then there's a guy who's got a sort of like Wilford Brimley handlebar mustache and
- 31:34liver spots and a bald head a pity ging May decided to turn against us.
- 31:40His allegiance to the world government as a warlord acted as a symbol of
- 31:45intertribal peace. It's disappointing to lose him, which I didn't consider that aspect
- 31:52of it, But that makes a lot of sense that it would be sort
- 31:55of like, you know, it's a sign of our diverse But that makes
- 32:01a lot of sense. And then there's this dude who's got the round glasses.
- 32:05He's got a very severe square jawline and I think an entirely bald head.
- 32:10He doesn't even have eyebrows. And he says, the three great powers
- 32:15are completely unbalanced. How should we take care of the vacancies among the seven
- 32:20war lords? And then we go to a guy with a blonde hair and
- 32:24beard who looks like he might be the youngest due to the fact that he
- 32:28actually isn't a gray beard, but maybe not. And he says, first
- 32:32we need to observe what will unfold in the new world. Relationships and hierarchies
- 32:37amongst pirates are sure to change. We must take care that we ensure our
- 32:44picks are the most powerful ones. So the way that we see this going
- 32:53as well, when we check in with the pirates who are in the New
- 32:59World, comes clear quite quickly none of these fucking guys was prepared for what
- 33:05the New World was going to have in store for them. The New World
- 33:07is like a hazard the likes of which none of them have ever seen.
- 33:14And it's got me really questioning whether our guys could handle it either, Like
- 33:19if these pirates are being taken off guard, and by surprise, I feel
- 33:23like the straw Hats are destined to be in even worse shape. So I'm
- 33:30kind of concerned about that at this point. And then let's see it,
- 33:37says Elder star d is the name of the guy with the bald head,
- 33:42I think, according to the subtitles, But he says, we let's see.
- 33:49Oh, here it is. Blackbeard already made his first move in the
- 33:52New World. By the way, he knocked off a promising rookie, one
- 33:57that had a bounty of over one hundred million berries. Is the promising rookie
- 34:02white Beard? That he's not a rookie, right, That's not who he's
- 34:08talking about. Is there somebody am I forgetting something? But he says,
- 34:15and thanks to his time with white Beard, he knows all about the old
- 34:19Man's territory. He certainly has a lead over any other pirate who's aiming to
- 34:24become one of the four emperors. No one else in history has ever eaten
- 34:30two devil fruits, yet he seems to have absorbed white beards. The only
- 34:36ones with the power to stop him are the other emperors. So have we
- 34:43heard about these three emperors before? If he's becoming one of the four emperors?
- 34:52Is it supposed to be that? And you may not be able to
- 34:57tell me this. Is it basically like if you get enough power, you
- 35:00just get to be an emperor? Or is there a standard number of seats
- 35:04available and if one's empty, somebody can fight to take that seat. Like
- 35:10it sounds like they're saying they are only three now and somebody's trying to be
- 35:14the fourth one. And I can't tell if it's like, you know,
- 35:17that he's trying to fill a vacancy or if he just wants to reach the
- 35:22level they have and become a fourth one. Do you know what I'm saying?
- 35:25Like the difference in what I'm trying to get at here, Florian says,
- 35:31Yeah, Shanks, Kayito, Big Mom and white Beard were the four
- 35:36before. Oh, I feel like you guys have told me this a number
- 35:38of times. I'm so sorry. It's really hard to keep track of this
- 35:44like hierarchy for me. I don't know why. I think it's because the
- 35:50names don't feel like they have a lot to do with each other, you
- 35:54know what I mean. So there's just a sort of like association in my
- 36:02mind usually with like the names of hierarchies, and that's not my brain is
- 36:07not computing with the hierarchies here, Florian says, and they are just like
- 36:15the pirates with the most powers is what we know of, Okay, So
- 36:21it's not like there's an established like system that he's trying to become part of.
- 36:29It's just whoever reaches the top, they're one of them. So it's
- 36:34sort of like the monarchs within cradle, how you can reach monarch level,
- 36:39but like and anybody like, there can be any number of monarchs. But
- 36:44as we know, that's not like exactly strictly speaking correct. But yeah,
- 36:49okay, okay, that's interesting. The fact it's just so interesting to me
- 36:59that t each wants to do what he is setting out to do. He
- 37:07just doesn't feel like I guess I just don't really understand what his ultimate goal
- 37:14is because the others like Shanks he has reached a point of such power,
- 37:20but he isn't ambitious really, you know. That's not to say ambition can
- 37:27have so many meanings, so I feel like that's not exceretly true. But
- 37:30it's more like Shanks is doing what he does because he wants to be able
- 37:36to help people, and I feel like that's his motivating factor. But what
- 37:42exactly is motivating teach beyond just liking to like bully people and push them around.
- 37:47Is that it? There's nothing more to it. I and his friends
- 37:54are like willing to prop him up permanently or are they just there until he
- 38:00fucks up and they can sort of take his spot. I want to know
- 38:04if they can absorb his powers that he absorbed from white Beard. Is that
- 38:07something that can cycle through like that on multiple times? I don't know,
- 38:15But anyway, anyway, anyway, so interstitial here and then we jump to
- 38:22where are we what is it? Red Elite? I'm trying to read the
- 38:25subtitles here because it gets covered up a red line. The Holy Land of
- 38:30Mariege wis and we've got these guys talking about garb and the fact that he's
- 38:37still an officer. We need him to stay on board to train our young
- 38:42soldiers. And I was just like, really, I didn't expect them to
- 38:47be welcoming to Garb. If anything, I was thinking Garp might get put
- 38:52in seclusion or something that they would like for the sake of keeping everything looking
- 38:58like it's tip top to outsiders, to lay people. They would have him
- 39:04on premises as if everything were fine, but that he would be locked up
- 39:07and kept from actually like interfering with things because they had gotten to a point
- 39:14where they didn't trust him. But it seems not and we find out that
- 39:22a Kaedo is or wait, Sengoku, sorry, Sengoku is resigning his position.
- 39:32I this is just kind of a shock to me, and I'm not
- 39:40entirely sure how to take it. It feels like what happened was that the
- 39:45way the war went, and seeing the honor of the opposing side and the
- 39:52unexpected like nobility of spirit they displayed that something in him lost the drive to
- 40:06take down all of these pirates the way he originally had. I may be
- 40:14wrong about that, but the way that the scene opens up, this guy
- 40:22is saying, like, we need garp to stay on board to train our
- 40:25young soldiers. And if you intend to resign from your position as fleet admiral,
- 40:31could you at least do that for us as well, Sengku, So
- 40:36he would retire from Fleet admiral, but he would stay as a trainer.
- 40:40And he's like, yeah, all right, you know that's not a terrible
- 40:45package, so sure, let's do that. And oh my god, I
- 40:52forgot about this really cool office that this guy is in. He's got one
- 40:59huge wall that's just like an aquarium with giant eels and octopus and all of
- 41:05these fish swimming around. I went to a wedding that was at a aquarium
- 41:13and they have two huge tanks that come up against each other and form a
- 41:20V corner that's the size of half a ballroom basically, and that's where they
- 41:27have the wedding receptions. So you're surrounded by sharks swimming and stuff when you
- 41:35eat dinner, and the dance floor and it was just really really cool.
- 41:37I loved it. And this just looks almost exactly like that. But yeah,
- 41:45so this deal he talks about, like the guys who were released from
- 41:52the sixth level of impelled down, who have already teamed up with Teach and
- 41:54that we've got our fucking work cut out for us. And Sengoku says the
- 42:01Great Pay the Great Pirate era is in a period of transition. Old Navy
- 42:07officers shouldn't keep clinging to power. The basis for justice changes from era to
- 42:14era, and I thought that was really interesting, the concept the basis for
- 42:20justice changes. That's something that I'm going to sort of ponder. I like
- 42:24that because I think that adaptability is really key to like humanity, and Sengoku
- 42:34being this forward thinking comes as a real surprise. I just kind of expected
- 42:39him to be a guy who like stuck to his orders and to the order
- 42:49that he was raised with and that was beaten into him until his dying breath
- 42:53and just clung to it forever. And the fact that he has clearly undergone
- 42:59some major changes in the way he thinks about all of this is really interesting.
- 43:05You know. I said that maybe he felt he didn't have the heart
- 43:07to go up against pirates anymore the way that he did, but also if
- 43:12he is training like new Marines to go up against pirates, maybe that's not
- 43:15entirely true, or maybe it is just the fact that he's like, you
- 43:19know, it's a young man's game out there, and I don't really fit
- 43:23in this world anymore. Maybe it's just as simple as that. And he
- 43:29says, I'd like to recommend aokegee to take my place as the next fleet
- 43:34admiral. He'd do a fine job. And we cut to Aokige who was
- 43:38just out here sneezing, and I was like, is it supposed to be
- 43:42that he's uh getting like a cold or what's happening here? But there Aokig
- 43:47is somebody who like he he follows the rules asterisk, So I think it's
- 43:55interesting that Singoku would recommend him. No. But anyway, we have a
- 44:04doctor whose name is Fishbone and who's literally chewing on a fishbone, and he
- 44:09is having a chat with oh my god, you guys, you know,
- 44:16the little guy with the pink hair, Kobe, and he is telling him
- 44:22that it's hockey, that's what happened in the battle. And he's like,
- 44:25that's the same power Navy vice admirals have in their position. You're pretty lucky.
- 44:32Helmepo is not happy about this. He is extremely irritated at the fact
- 44:39that Kobe apparently is like outstripping him in every sense because Helmepo, you know,
- 44:46the two of them have been side by side and how much at one
- 44:51point, is just like any chance that I could suddenly develop these powers too,
- 44:53And everybody's like, yeah, that's unlikely. I feel bad for Kobe
- 44:59though, because all of the people out there are in his head still.
- 45:04He hasn't learned to control this, so it's not pleasant for him and he
- 45:07can't just turn it off, which uh that this is like one of my
- 45:15personal superpowers that I think sounds like the least fun. Being able to connect
- 45:22with everybody, whether it's their emotions or their actual thoughts or whatever. That's
- 45:28just so overwhelming. No, thank you. I already have too much input
- 45:31most of the time. But yeah, Kobe's saying, I don't know how
- 45:36to feel about all of this, but I do know how I feel weird,
- 45:39like I'm a completely different person. But if this thing that happened to
- 45:44me really is hockey, I might be able to use it to get stronger,
- 45:49much stronger than I am right now, maybe even as strong as him
- 45:52for real this time, which I'm assuming is loofy. So I'm to see
- 46:00how that develops for Kobe. Definitely, then we have the meeting with AOKG
- 46:06and Smoker and he Smoker is asking for a transfer. I'm gonna be honest,
- 46:15you guys, I am like fifty what am I like twenty minutes away,
- 46:21not even from the end of my time, and I've barely gotten through
- 46:24like the first episode's conversations because which is okay? Like the second episode is
- 46:30really just a lot of jumps from one person to another and seeing the way
- 46:34they react to the news, which I don't think I need to go through
- 46:37one by one. But because so much of this information is like is about
- 46:45people that I feel not too familiar with and power structures that I'm not confident
- 46:52on my knowledge of, I don't want to skip any of this or like
- 46:58cover it quickly because I need to ask for confirmation on some things or just
- 47:04you know what I mean. But yeah, so AKG says, I'll ask
- 47:07Sengoku about your transfer when I get the chance. Is are you actually serious
- 47:15about this? People aren't exactly clamoring to join the G five. I'm sure
- 47:22you've heard the stories. It's not pretty so transferring to the fifth branch on
- 47:28the Grand Line the New World, you realize how wild things get over there
- 47:34and Smoker says for me, it's better to be closer to my target,
- 47:39and I was like, is that Loofy? Because I have been assuming this
- 47:45whole time the Smoker is really after Loofy, And I'm not sure if that's
- 47:49true, because he's just like, if he is, I know that Lufy
- 47:53does want to go to the New World, like that had been his goal,
- 47:59but it feels strange because Lufy's not there right now. So he's jumping
- 48:04the gun a little bit, assuming that Lufy's coming back to like Marine Ford
- 48:08will just be a stop on his way to the New World. If that's
- 48:15if that's what he's after here, I'm not sure I'm correct about that.
- 48:22So yeah, this is this is when we get to a scene in the
- 48:25New World where with Captain Kidd and he is reading the news. I love
- 48:30the fact that the newspaper even reaches the New World and he's talking to his
- 48:37guys and he's just like, what's up with the bell and let's see killer
- 48:44the guy with the fucking weird mask says it's a sacred It's a sacred bell
- 48:50from the ox Lloyd, a navy warship that was very impressive back in the
- 48:53day. At year's end, they ring the bell eight times to signify the
- 48:58passing year, and eight more times as a sort of good omen for the
- 49:02coming year. So that's the meaning of sixteen rings, some crusty old navy
- 49:07custom, nothing special. So his theory is straw Hat maybe did it to
- 49:15announce the end of beginning of a new pirate era. I like that.
- 49:21I think that's kind of a cool concept. And if he's the one ringing
- 49:24it in he's basically being like, well, this is my fucking era.
- 49:30And they all agree that they need to show him who's actually in charge,
- 49:36because he's clearly gotten a little too big for his breeches. And as they're
- 49:39discussing this, the guys are looking over their shoulders and seeing these creatures,
- 49:45their shadows like appearing in the woods behind him. So Captain Kidd is like,
- 49:51I'm going to teach this pain in the ass the hard way that he
- 49:53can't do whatever he wants. And as he's saying this, these things begin
- 49:59to stand up, and he walks out into the rain and he says,
- 50:04from how they talk the place up, I thought it'd be more fun.
- 50:09And there's all of these dudes tied up outside. Captain Kidd doesn't acknowledge the
- 50:16shadows. His men do they're looking at them, so it wasn't totally clear
- 50:22to me if he like saw them and his men didn't want to bring it
- 50:25up to him, or if he knows they're there and he's just ignoring them
- 50:28because he doesn't find them to be that much of a threat. But the
- 50:31guys who were tied up are begging him to let them go back to the
- 50:38Grand Line because as far as they are concerned, this place is hell on
- 50:44earth and they didn't know how good they had it back when, and they
- 50:49came here really thinking that he was going to be you know, that they
- 50:54were going to be able to sort of live it up, and they're being
- 50:57put in their place repeatedly and are not prepared. So then we go to
- 51:05the guy who's like the mafia boss, Capone, and he's eating dinner and
- 51:09they're just reporting to him about the newspaper information when all of a sudden,
- 51:15the ships starts shaking, and they go outside and the ship is lifting into
- 51:20the sky and when they look up, there's this huge sort of rock formation
- 51:24over their ship that seems to be pulling them up. The formation it's like
- 51:31got a bunch of upside down bowls or something that could almost look like giant
- 51:36barnacles or suction cups, but they're hard. They don't look like soft like
- 51:43a suction cup would. And the ship I was thinking was going to be
- 51:46sucked into one of those, but it isn't. It just bounces off the
- 51:51underside of this formation between those like cup shapes and hits it and gets damaged.
- 51:58And it's a very weird moment that, you know, we don't get
- 52:01any further information about what's going on there, and it just ends with the
- 52:07ship like crashing into place and all of them screaming. It doesn't. The
- 52:13ship stays too. It doesn't actually fall back down into the water or anything.
- 52:17It's like it got jammed into place. Then we go to Hawkins,
- 52:23who is the one that uses all the tarot cards and everything, and he
- 52:29is talking to some guy brown Beard, and I love the fact Hawkins is
- 52:35like, oh, yeah, I'm sorry, I thought you, miss I
- 52:37misheard you because that name is so stupid. Hawkins is growing quickly to be
- 52:45one of my favorites. I really enjoy his disdainful energy. I just think
- 52:52it's abusing. I just like it. Also enjoy his bizarre eyebrows. It's
- 52:59a real vibe. There's a look. You know, he's got a look
- 53:00going on. So yeah, he's pulling all these cards and he says,
- 53:07I can see the shadow of death crawling upon your face. And as he
- 53:15says that there is there are these like things that grow over and I am
- 53:22barely remembering the extremely creepy power that he has and how nightmarish it looked.
- 53:31And saying that death is crawling upon your face and then doing that that is
- 53:37genuinely a really badass moment. Like a lot of the characters in this show,
- 53:45they'll have moments that are clearly meant to be intimidating a badass, and
- 53:49like you know, with varying results. This one, I was like,
- 53:52oh yikes. And you know, you see him like expanding and standing over
- 53:57this guy because brown Beard is humongous, butially he's towering over him. Hawkins
- 54:02has this like, you know, really wild silhouette of all of these arms
- 54:08because he's got like that kind of I keep wanting to say tentacles, but
- 54:13it's also almost like, ah, not a straw man, uh. I
- 54:20feel like I recall him looking like a scarecrow a little bit, but like
- 54:27you know what I'm saying anyway, uh unnerving definitely. Then we have let's
- 54:34see you rogue. I don't remember who this is, and they're like looking
- 54:38at this island that's just lightning without cease. Oh yeah, you rogue is
- 54:45the one who's got the wings and the really really thick wide neck, and
- 54:51all of his men are like, uh, we aren't going to that island,
- 54:55right And as they're sitting there deciding like this is probably not gonna work,
- 55:05lightning strikes their ship as well, and it just seems like they're in
- 55:10pretty fucking bad shape right here. So then a ship approaches. It's tiny
- 55:19and it's got I think like six people on it, and there is an
- 55:24old woman at the front in a robe with a covered head and she's missing
- 55:30some teeth and she says, uh, what is it that? She says,
- 55:37would you like an umbrella for your journey? And she just looks up
- 55:44at him and her face is really really creepy. But we don't actually like
- 55:46get any further on that one. So this is when, oh my god,
- 55:55I completely forgot about how Captain Kidd basically has of like a magnet power
- 56:00with his control of metal and stuff, and he like smashes all these guys
- 56:06and is like, well, if you weren't ready to deal with some shit,
- 56:09then probably you shouldn't have come to the New World. And he smashes
- 56:14them all and says, if you want to throw down the gauntlet straw hat,
- 56:17that's fine, because don't but don't cry when I come to you,
- 56:21because it won't be pretty. And the camera pulls back and you see like
- 56:25these people strung up and killed, and it's pretty for this show. It's
- 56:30pretty gruesome, like they haven't exactly been crucified, but it's really giving crucified
- 56:39on the surface, you know what I mean. And I was like,
- 56:43oh shit, Captain Yike's like that just really it was unexpected how upsetting that
- 56:52imagery was. So I'm trying to make sure because I'm out of time,
- 57:00I want to talk at least about Buggy getting greeted by all of his men
- 57:04who pretend they never lost faith in him at all, even though it's like,
- 57:09you know, they all had abandoned him to follow Alvida, and he
- 57:17winds up giving Alvida that bracelet, which I had forgotten all about Lufy gives
- 57:27it to him because he has it on his arm when he's at impelled down
- 57:31and when she sees it, she's like, you found Captain John's armband,
- 57:37And she's like, well, tell me how you found it, and he
- 57:42tells her the truth that like Louvie, gave it to him without a second
- 57:45thought and that he couldn't believe how easy it was. But we don't find
- 57:51out what the significance of this armband is. It's just a big deal that
- 57:55he has found it, and that it's enough for him to feel like maybe
- 58:00I was meant to be King of the Pirates. So this is when he
- 58:05sees the uh news in the newspaper and the fact that Raley has gotten mixed
- 58:10up in the whole thing, and Buggy is just like, what the fuck?
- 58:15How did Raley even get involved in this? I can't keep up with
- 58:19all of these new developments. If I remember correctly, straw Hat's dad is
- 58:23Dragon and his grandpa is Garb, which means really must be straw Hat's long
- 58:32lost uncle. I don't know how that works. Is Raleigh Garp's brother?
- 58:40Wait, no, Israeli Dragon's brother? It would have to be that doesn't
- 58:49like, why why is he leaping to this conclusion? Oh, Florian says,
- 58:52that's just a joke. Buggy is being a Dodo bird here, Okay,
- 58:58because I was like, where is that coming from? I don't understand
- 59:00how he's reaching this conclusion. Okay, good because I just was like lost
- 59:06there. So the world government has gotten in contact with him with a carrier
- 59:13bat and he starts to panic over what the message is, thinking that it's
- 59:17a final warning, but mister three has already opened it and he just is
- 59:22reading it, going it can't be. This is simply unbelievable, and Buggy
- 59:29is behind him saying that's for me, stop it. We don't see what
- 59:32that says. It just cuts away. We go to Saboode and we have
- 59:39the sonny that apparently a bunch of pirates are trying to like take this ship
- 59:46and turn it in because they think they're gonna get some kind of reward for
- 59:50it, since he's Dragon's son and probably the Navy would pay him. And
- 59:54so we've got, you know, our assorted people here who aren't straw but
- 1:00:00are like straw hat adjacent standing up for it. And we've got the guy
- 1:00:04who got kicked into being pretty by Sanji, who is unwilling to let these
- 1:00:12people have it for his own very silly reasons I won't get into, but
- 1:00:17it is very like I enjoyed touching base with these people, at least because
- 1:00:22I totally had forgotten about most of them. So let's see, that's Duval
- 1:00:28and then we have the uh Juto is that his name? And I'm trying
- 1:00:34to remember everybody's names here, but it doesn't really matter, because what it
- 1:00:37comes down to is that nobody is going to take the fucking sonny. If
- 1:00:42you touch it, you're gonna die the ship, I mean, not the
- 1:00:45girl. He has this whole thing about like wanting to find a girl to
- 1:00:49touch him. Oh my god, he's such a I really do enjoy Duval
- 1:00:53though, And let's see where else am I going here? Oh? Right,
- 1:01:00This is when Vivi spots the like symbols on Lufy's arm, which look
- 1:01:07kind of similar to what Ace had had on his arm as well, because
- 1:01:13I remember Ace had something that had been kind of crossed out, and I
- 1:01:15feel like you guys had told me what it signified for him. But the
- 1:01:20picture that she's looking at, I'm trying to see. Uh, because the
- 1:01:24way that the Hulu's like interface, it sort of blocks out the bottom of
- 1:01:31the screen a little bit when my cursor has been moved around recently. So
- 1:01:37I'm trying to just leave the cursor in place for a second so I can
- 1:01:40see it a bit more clearly, but because I can't pause it. So
- 1:01:44it's A three, A two, A Y. There's an O between the
- 1:01:47three and the tube that has a straight line, and then the three and
- 1:01:51oh are sort of xed out. I don't know what that could mean.
- 1:01:58I really don't know, Like maybe that sixteen tolls has something to do with
- 1:02:04it, or maybe it's what they assumed and it has nothing to do with
- 1:02:07this code. I do not know. So let's see. I'm just trying
- 1:02:15to make sure that I'm not missing anything major in this section. Oh right,
- 1:02:20Crocodile sees this and it is just kind of like, what the hell
- 1:02:22is Loofy doing back there? And Mister One is also with him and is
- 1:02:29like, I don't get the deal here, but I guess, you know,
- 1:02:34let's head into the new world and get that started. So Crocodile invites
- 1:02:37him and they're going to team up together. I guess the rest of this
- 1:02:40episode is basically like we're going to touch base with the originals that we're at
- 1:02:46the bar when Lufy was a kid. We're going to go and see Dedan
- 1:02:51and all of them, and her saying rest in peace, you brat about
- 1:02:53Ace, which I did think was genuinely very funny. We check in with
- 1:02:58Lufy and he's being pulled by all of the like girls, and I thought
- 1:03:02it was just because of him being rubbery. But then we jump over to
- 1:03:07go Really and to Jimbei and they're being pulled on as well. And I
- 1:03:14don't know what this is supposed to mean. It's just them being annoying,
- 1:03:17I guess, but yeah, and then the whole thing with Chopper is like
- 1:03:23almost all of the next the third episode, we have a moment of check
- 1:03:30in with USOP. Absolutely nothing happens. I don't know what they're doing with
- 1:03:36USOP. It's so it feels so pointless, you guys, I'm just saying.
- 1:03:42And then we have the reveal that Frankie is okay, but he has
- 1:03:51like burnt part of his face off in this explosion, genuinely terrifying when he
- 1:03:57turns to the screen, and then we get to see that Brooks is on
- 1:04:03display and being looked at by everybody, and you know they're treating him shitty.
- 1:04:10But they did also give him the newspaper when he asked for it.
- 1:04:15So I don't know if the guy who's got the piano key teeth is supposed
- 1:04:18to be one of the long arm clan because they both have like that,
- 1:04:24you know, pair of elbows on each arm. But anyway, I feel
- 1:04:31like that's pretty much everything. Oh right. We have the one check in
- 1:04:36with Zoro where Pirona brings him the newspaper and reads to him where Lufy is
- 1:04:43and he's trying to be like, wait, why would he go back there?
- 1:04:46There's got to be some kind of catch, and he's just laying there
- 1:04:49injured and tired, and she has to hold the newspaper up for him to
- 1:04:55read because he's in such bad shape, and we just see his sort of
- 1:05:00like expanding and dilating, as if he's really freaking out about something. But
- 1:05:03I do not know what that is, and I'm trying to see if there's
- 1:05:10anything else here. Yeah, pretty much, just like the whole thing with
- 1:05:16Chopper is like there's the thing that's filled out with his flashbacks to Lufy inviting
- 1:05:25him on the crew and everything. Oh I forgot about the Drake pirate who
- 1:05:31is on this like snowy island. Uh. And there's this thing that starts
- 1:05:38to open up that looks like it's covered in stone. It almost looks like
- 1:05:42an astrolab inside. I couldn't tell exactly what this is meant to be,
- 1:05:47but uh, I do like the significance of all of this, you guys
- 1:05:53jumping around the way that we have been. It is so difficult for me
- 1:05:57to understand how any of these things are connected, how much of it I
- 1:06:00should remember. Drake is like approaching this and they start to get fired upon,
- 1:06:06and then this other person appears who has like the weird vertical slits in
- 1:06:12their mouth, and Drake takes them out. Oh yeah, a poo is
- 1:06:17the one who's on another island, and they wind up getting like chased off.
- 1:06:21And I found it really funny because they get chased off like cartoon style,
- 1:06:27running off the edge of a cliff, but they don't fold down.
- 1:06:30They just keep running on air, So I don't know what the fuck is
- 1:06:32going on there. And then there's the uh, the let's see San Juan
- 1:06:40Wolf and it just says some burning island and the crew with Teach. It
- 1:06:49turns out they are not in great shape. Their ship is no longer seaworthy,
- 1:06:55and they're stuck somewhere that fucking sucks. And they're all sort of bickering
- 1:07:00with one another. And it turns out that he captured Bonnie and he's trying
- 1:07:03to get her to become his girlfriend, but she rejects him utterly. Good
- 1:07:08for her, uh, and she says, I'm gonna make you pay.
- 1:07:13Do you hear me? He does not pay any attention to her, but
- 1:07:15girl, I hope you do. I really hope you do. Oh yeah,
- 1:07:20And then we have the check in with with what's his face? Oh
- 1:07:27my god, the one who captured Maria, who's got the fucking like sunglasses,
- 1:07:32flaming do Flamingo, that's him, that's him. But yeah, he
- 1:07:40says, one minute he's there and then he's gone. That shadow shadow fruit
- 1:07:44is tricky, and so it felt like what he was supposed to do was
- 1:07:49kill Maria. But Maria escaped and he's treating it like it's not a big
- 1:07:56deal, whereas, of course Maria is still alive somewhere, so he's just
- 1:08:00getting reprimanded for doing a sloppy job. But when this guy is telling him
- 1:08:04like you fucked up, he gets open this man's face and is like,
- 1:08:09say that again, because you're not my fucking boss, and I'm still a
- 1:08:14pirate and I will fuck your entire world up, So maybe you should keep
- 1:08:16your fucking mouth shut. If I ever get tired of doing business with the
- 1:08:21likes of you clowns, I can just give up my title as warlord,
- 1:08:25don't you forget that? Which he ain't wrong, and this man should probably
- 1:08:30have considered his words a little bit more carefully. I think, Yeah,
- 1:08:38that's that's everything. I'm pretty sure I managed to cover everything. Oh my
- 1:08:43god, you guys, this was like there was just so much happening here,
- 1:08:47and I if I missed something that you were like hoping for me to
- 1:08:51speak about specifically, I'm so sorry, but it is just there's just so
- 1:08:59much much to talk about that I don't know what to give priority to.
- 1:09:05Oh no, I'm seeing that Florian is in the chat and that he can't
- 1:09:08see me anymore. Something happened. Well, hopefully the recording will work for
- 1:09:14you. Florian. Sorry about it. Thank you guys so much. I'm
- 1:09:17sorry about how I kind of scattered this was, but I feel like it's
- 1:09:20kind of not my fall. I did my best, and I'll see you
- 1:09:24soon with a new episode. Until then, to the Loo, motherfuckers.
- 1:09:57That was an unspoiled Network podcast two
