- 0:13Speaker 2: And Rich Valdez is with us, former Christie administration official.
- 0:15Speaker 2: You worked for Chris Christie, you've been in politics, a
- 0:17Speaker 2: lot of public service stuff.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Rich Valdez, columnist now with the Washington Times.
- 0:21Speaker 1: This is America.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Richie V, you're on the air with the nation.
- 0:24Speaker 2: This is America with.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Your host, Rich Valdez.
- 0:29Speaker 3: What's up, America? I am Rich Valdez, Valdez with an S,
- 0:32Speaker 3: at Rich Valdez on all of the social media platforms. Welcome, welcome, welcome.
- 0:36Speaker 3: It's the Wednesday night edition of the program. I am
- 0:39Speaker 3: your liberty-loving Latino amigo, 17 blocks away from Madison Square Garden,
- 0:43Speaker 3: right here in New York City, Times Square. Blessed, honored
- 0:46Speaker 3: to be here with you, my wonderful audience. Again, it's
- 0:49Speaker 3: the Wednesday night edition of the program. Welcome to This

- 0:56Speaker 3: want to share your opinion, give me a call, 877-VALDEZ-1, 877-825-3371.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Share your thoughts. Drop me a recording. We'll pop it
- 1:05Speaker 3: right into the show. And I want to start with
- 1:08Speaker 3: the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve voting today and finally
- 1:12Speaker 3: making a decision on interest rates. Check this out.
- 1:15Speaker 4: The Federal Reserve is leaving interest rates unchanged. Watching market movement,
- 1:19Speaker 4: it's been up for most of the session in anticipation
- 1:23Speaker 4: of this. Markets widely believed, I think it was about
- 1:26Speaker 4: 92 percent chance that they're going to be unchanged. And
- 1:28Speaker 4: now the big guessing game is what happens at the
- 1:31Speaker 4: next Fed meeting and how it affects your money.
- 1:33Speaker 3: That is the decision.
- 1:34Speaker 4: The Federal Reserve.
- 1:35Speaker 3: And that is the decision indeed. Federal Reserve voting 10
- 1:38Speaker 3: to 2 to leave the benchmark interest rate unchanged from 3.75
- 1:41Speaker 3: to 4.0 percent. No hike, no cut. Markets just got
- 1:46Speaker 3: a little breathing room. And the rest of us got
- 1:49Speaker 3: one less thing to target at the moment. Other big
- 1:53Speaker 3: story today. Flavio Bolsonaro, he was able to make it
- 1:57Speaker 3: out of Brazil. And guess where he landed? Right here
- 2:00Speaker 3: in Miami. After his flight was grounded, he made it
- 2:03Speaker 3: through Argentina and Ecuador. And listen, the left will jail
- 2:09Speaker 3: you every single time they can. They will try to
- 2:13Speaker 3: destroy you if you get in the way of their agenda.
- 2:17Speaker 3: They charged him with money laundering, corruption, all of this
- 2:20Speaker 3: right after his election loss. A result that surprised a
- 2:23Speaker 3: lot of Brazilians, right? Because he was just up in
- 2:26Speaker 3: the runoff. The United States granted him and his family visas.
- 2:31Speaker 3: I've actually met Flavio Bolsonaro. I met him and his
- 2:34Speaker 3: brother at CPAC earlier this year. I met his dad
- 2:38Speaker 3: and Eduardo at CPAC some years ago. when his dad
- 2:42Speaker 3: ran for president. And the father is now in jail,
- 2:47Speaker 3: right now, for challenging the radical left. And the guy
- 2:51Speaker 3: that they used to beat him, quote-unquote, Lula da Silva,
- 2:57Speaker 3: that guy was in jail. And they did everything they could,
- 3:00Speaker 3: every legal maneuver they could to get him out, got
- 3:03Speaker 3: him out of jail, and let him run for president.
- 3:05Speaker 3: And that's who they put back in, an actual jailbird.
- 3:08Speaker 3: They took the guy out of jail, Lula da Silva,
- 3:10Speaker 3: Ran him for president, the left. He's a socialist. He wins.
- 3:15Speaker 3: And then they do what they do. And they put
- 3:20Speaker 3: the America first or Brazil first, the populist president, the conservative,
- 3:24Speaker 3: the one that was aligned with Trump, Bolsonaro, Jair Bolsonaro.
- 3:28Speaker 3: They put him in jail. Now they're trying to put
- 3:32Speaker 3: his kids in jail. Sound familiar? That's right. Sounds like
- 3:35Speaker 3: exactly what they try to do to El Trumpito. But
- 3:37Speaker 3: that is exactly what happened. Freaking crazy. Really is. But
- 3:44Speaker 3: Flavio Bolsonaro landing in Brazil using an Italian passport because
- 3:48Speaker 3: his ancestry, take two, his ancestry traces back to Italy,
- 3:53Speaker 3: Bolsonaro with a Z, and he was allowed to make
- 3:57Speaker 3: way to Argentina using his Italian passport to land safely
- 4:02Speaker 3: in Florida. And listen to the warm reception that he
- 4:06Speaker 3: got right at the private airport in Florida. Check this out.
- 4:10Speaker 3: This is a private hangar, people coming up to him,
- 4:23Speaker 3: wearing free Bolsonaro shirts. Lots of people in there, looks
- 4:27Speaker 3: like friends, close family. Lots of people wearing Brazilian gear.
- 4:32Speaker 3: And this party.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Only gets bigger in Florida.
- 4:38Speaker 3: The news gets out that he's in Florida. And before
- 4:41Speaker 3: you know it, people are flooding the streets in Florida.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Because why? Because they are prepared to welcome their leader,
- 4:53Speaker 3: their leader in exile. And I think it's fantastic. Listen
- 4:59Speaker 3: to this. This is an actual block party. All right,
- 5:08Speaker 3: so what we're watching right here, I'd say about, I
- 5:12Speaker 3: don't know, this has got to be a minimum of 100,000
- 5:16Speaker 3: people that are flooding the beach to celebrate Flavio Bolsonaro.
- 5:30Speaker 3: And he says that he will continue to lead the
- 5:35Speaker 3: opposition from the United States, this is a very, very
- 5:42Speaker 3: big deal, right? Let me read you the letter. I
- 5:45Speaker 3: have it in English here, courtesy of my friend Roger Stone,
- 5:48Speaker 3: who translated it. And he says, I address the Brazilian
- 5:52Speaker 3: people and the international community as Brazil's leader. First and foremost,
- 5:58Speaker 3: I would like to thank President Millet for his courage.
- 6:02Speaker 3: his sense of justice and respect for the law, and
- 6:04Speaker 3: President Trump and the wonderful American people for welcoming me.
- 6:09Speaker 3: This is a land of freedoms and of brothers and
- 6:12Speaker 3: sisters who share the same values as the good people
- 6:14Speaker 3: of my country. President Trump is a great defender of
- 6:17Speaker 3: freedom of expression. On Sunday night, I watched in disbelief
- 6:22Speaker 3: as electoral fraud unfolded before my eyes. The illegitimate and
- 6:27Speaker 3: illegal actions of Lula's former lawyer allowed a mathematical impossibility
- 6:33Speaker 3: to become a reality, with Lula gaining more than 10
- 6:39Speaker 3: million votes between the first and second rounds, a ruling
- 6:43Speaker 3: by the Federal Supreme Court overriding the jurisdiction of the
- 6:48Speaker 3: Superior Electoral Court, extending voting at the very last moment,
- 6:54Speaker 3: and the order only arriving at the legal closing time,
- 6:59Speaker 3: when the polls had already closed. Voters were subjected to
- 7:02Speaker 3: different rules. So far, the electoral court has confined itself
- 7:11Speaker 3: to defending the extension of voting hours without providing even
- 7:15Speaker 3: a single credible answer. And these are grounds for invalidation.
- 7:20Speaker 3: But that's not the only problem. Throughout the campaign, There
- 7:24Speaker 3: was abuse of political and economic power, as well as
- 7:27Speaker 3: the use of government resources to favor re-election. These are
- 7:31Speaker 3: serious acts, expressly prohibited by law, that justify disqualifying the
- 7:37Speaker 3: Lula-Alckmin ticket. The regime's response to my challenge came swiftly.
- 7:45Speaker 3: As though following a previously devised plan, seven minutes after
- 7:49Speaker 3: this repugnant electoral fraud, the judge who was implicated in
- 7:53Speaker 3: a massive corruption scandal directly named in the investigation, he
- 7:58Speaker 3: used to try to confiscate my passports. And he would
- 8:02Speaker 3: very likely be in prison if they'd not prevented me
- 8:05Speaker 3: from taking office. He set the machinery of the regime's
- 8:11Speaker 3: political persecution in motion. Given that he was legally barred
- 8:15Speaker 3: from the outset of entirely lacking in impartiality, to initiate
- 8:20Speaker 3: any judicial proceedings against me. His mere participation in procedural
- 8:24Speaker 3: acts demonstrates the scale of the arbitrary nature and illegality
- 8:30Speaker 3: of what's now underway. It was not my intention to
- 8:34Speaker 3: leave my homeland, but now I know exactly where this
- 8:37Speaker 3: is heading. This is a classic playbook of any coup d'etat,
- 8:41Speaker 3: the political persecution that began with my father, former President
- 8:45Speaker 3: Jair Bolsonaro, and spread to thousands of other ordinary patriotic Brazilians,
- 8:51Speaker 3: and even American citizens, has a single objective, to silence
- 8:56Speaker 3: anyone who disagrees with the authoritarian regime established in Brazil
- 9:00Speaker 3: through a Supreme Court captured by the Workers' Party, which
- 9:03Speaker 3: is a criminal organization. To be clear, there is no
- 9:07Speaker 3: arrest warrant against me, because I have committed no crime.
- 9:11Speaker 3: What exists is a politically motivated witch hunt. intended to
- 9:15Speaker 3: hold me hostage and use me as a tool of
- 9:17Speaker 3: blackmail to protect Supreme Court justices from impeachment. Here is
- 9:23Speaker 3: the persecution's script. Passport confiscation, an electronic ankle monitor, censorship,
- 9:29Speaker 3: house arrest, a sham trial, and finally, a politically motivated conviction.
- 9:36Speaker 3: I will not subject my family to this, and my
- 9:39Speaker 3: country does not deserve to endure this international disgrace again.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Faced with the political weaponization of Brazil's justice system, I
- 9:47Speaker 3: brought my family to the United States, where we are safe.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Once again, I thank President Trump and the American government
- 9:54Speaker 3: for welcoming us and providing the legal protections we no
- 9:58Speaker 3: longer have in Brazil. I want to make this clear.
- 10:05Speaker 3: I did not flee Brazil. I left for Brazil's sake.
- 10:09Speaker 3: I left an authoritarian regime so that I could be
- 10:13Speaker 3: the leader my people deserve. Because silenced, imprisoned and censored
- 10:19Speaker 3: As my father is, I could not provide that leadership.
- 10:23Speaker 3: And we won't be left with the institutional theater of
- 10:26Speaker 3: an emasculated opposition controlled by a Supreme Court filled with
- 10:30Speaker 3: the regime's servants. I'm not the first person who has
- 10:35Speaker 3: had to fight for his own country from abroad. Rui
- 10:39Speaker 3: Barbosa went into exile for confronting Floriano Peixoto's arbitrary rule
- 10:46Speaker 3: and from there continued defending the law and freedom Charles
- 10:50Speaker 3: de Gaulle led Free France from London, sentenced to death
- 10:55Speaker 3: by the Vichy regime, and returned to liberate his country.
- 10:59Speaker 3: José Martí organized the struggle for Cuban independence from New York.
- 11:04Speaker 3: In Venezuela, Juan Guaidó and Edmundo González had to leave
- 11:08Speaker 3: the country for confronting the Chavista dictatorship. And María Corina Machado,
- 11:13Speaker 3: despite being persecuted, refused to legitimize the fraud and became
- 11:18Speaker 3: a global symbol of democratic resistance. All of them were
- 11:22Speaker 3: treated as criminals by the regimes they confronted. History has
- 11:26Speaker 3: called them something else. Patriots is what history calls them.
- 11:32Speaker 3: This is only the beginning of our struggle for democracy,
- 11:36Speaker 3: human rights, and freedom in Brazil. I want to tell
- 11:40Speaker 3: not only my 60 million voters, but the Brazilian people
- 11:44Speaker 3: that I am the leader and that the criminals who
- 11:47Speaker 3: stole Brazil's election are part of a criminal organization that
- 11:51Speaker 3: has imposed a tyranny. You want a change, and I
- 11:55Speaker 3: will not abandon you. I will be our nation's voice
- 11:59Speaker 3: and its free leadership. To Brazil's institutions, I make this appeal.
- 12:05Speaker 3: This madness must end. Brazil today is engulfed in legal chaos, corruption,
- 12:09Speaker 3: and political persecution, in which the opposition is afraid to speak,
- 12:14Speaker 3: and a former president's family is treated as an enemy
- 12:17Speaker 3: of the state. No nation can live in peace or
- 12:20Speaker 3: prosper this way. There is still time to restore the
- 12:23Speaker 3: balance among the branches of government and give Brazilians back
- 12:27Speaker 3: the confidence they've lost. To the international community, I ask,
- 12:31Speaker 3: do not normalize what is happening in Brazil. What is
- 12:34Speaker 3: happening in my country today is not normal and cannot
- 12:37Speaker 3: be treated as normal. The senators, representatives, and governors whom
- 12:42Speaker 3: I helped elect and especially to my candidate for the
- 12:46Speaker 3: President of the Senate, Rogerio Marino, I know that today
- 12:51Speaker 3: you lack the freedom necessary to carry out your political
- 12:54Speaker 3: duties fully. Therefore, I will lead the opposition from here
- 12:59Speaker 3: in the United States. I will say what you cannot
- 13:03Speaker 3: say there. I will take the risks you cannot take.
- 13:07Speaker 3: And to you who voted for me and dream of change,
- 13:10Speaker 3: we are not defeated and we are not alone. This
- 13:14Speaker 3: is only the beginning of our struggle for democracy, human rights,
- 13:18Speaker 3: and freedom in Brazil. In the coming days, I will
- 13:21Speaker 3: address the Brazilian people regularly, and we will present a
- 13:24Speaker 3: strategy to mobilize the opposition and the immense popular support
- 13:28Speaker 3: we have. Through every peaceful and legitimate means to prevent
- 13:33Speaker 3: Lula from consolidating a dictatorial regime in Brazil, I ask
- 13:38Speaker 3: each of you to stand firm and never give up.
- 13:41Speaker 3: I left Brazil, but I have not abandoned the Brazilian people.
- 13:45Speaker 3: This struggle did not end on October 25th. It will
- 13:49Speaker 3: only end when Brazil becomes a free country again. And
- 13:53Speaker 3: that day will come. May God bless Brazil. Flavio Bolsonaro.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Great letter and excellent sentiment. This is the exact type
- 14:05Speaker 3: of theater that they were trying to put into play.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Right here in the United States.
- 14:15Speaker 5: Right?
- 14:15Speaker 3: They wanted to jail Don Jr. They wanted to jail
- 14:20Speaker 3: El Trompito. And now Jair Bolsonaro is in jail. And
- 14:25Speaker 3: what happens with this is people get excited, right? This
- 14:28Speaker 3: is the exact brand of political theater that the left
- 14:31Speaker 3: would love to see here.
- 14:32Speaker 1: In the U.S.
- 14:34Speaker 3: And let's be honest. Some of us on the right
- 14:36Speaker 3: would be happy to play the same game and lock
- 14:38Speaker 3: everybody up. Constitution goes out the window, the Bible goes
- 14:41Speaker 3: out the window, and it just becomes a contest of
- 14:45Speaker 3: who can hurt the other side more. That's no bueno,
- 14:48Speaker 3: my friends. This is why we have to be moored
- 14:50Speaker 3: by our faith, by our worldview. For me, it's Christ, Christianity.
- 14:57Speaker 3: And for our country, from a governmental perspective, it's the Constitution.
- 15:04Speaker 3: I don't want to become Brazil. And Lord knows, a
- 15:07Speaker 3: couple of years ago, we almost did. Thankfully, Trump was
- 15:10Speaker 3: able to run again and win to prove that America
- 15:14Speaker 3: is stronger, that the people can speak, that we can
- 15:16Speaker 3: overcome the swampiness. We can overcome the corruption. We can
- 15:21Speaker 3: overcome the crazy. But this stuff is happening, right? We're
- 15:26Speaker 3: seeing it happen. Brazil has fallen. France has fallen. So
- 15:32Speaker 3: many huge cultural icons and destinations aren't what they once were.
- 15:39Speaker 3: And now we are six days away from losing even
- 15:45Speaker 3: more liberty. You've got to do whatever you can to
- 15:49Speaker 3: make sure that doesn't happen. Keep it locked right here
- 15:52Speaker 3: on Rich Valdez.
- 15:53Speaker 1: This is America. This is America. He's brown, he's bald,
- 16:09Speaker 1: and he's breaking it down.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Oh, he's so handsome.
- 16:11Speaker 6: What's his name?
- 16:12Speaker 3: Rich Valdez. All right, familia, there's thousands of people, thousands
- 16:18Speaker 3: of people outside the Ohio rally where President Trump will
- 16:22Speaker 3: be tonight, Wednesday night. We're actually just wrapping up. And
- 16:25Speaker 3: he's there to promote Vivek Ramaswamy and John Husted. And
- 16:30Speaker 3: moments ago, President Trump taking to the... podium to introduce
- 16:36Speaker 3: John Husted, who you may remember him talking about his
- 16:42Speaker 3: rear end a couple of days ago. All right, let's
- 16:45Speaker 3: just tap into this live.
- 16:52Speaker 7: Thank you, Mr.
- 16:53Speaker 8: President, for caring about Ohio and coming back again and
- 16:56Speaker 8: again and again to help us win this.
- 16:58Speaker 7: Election on Tuesday.
- 16:59Speaker 6: Is that right?
- 17:06Speaker 8: I have to tell a story about the president because
- 17:09Speaker 8: one day I got a call from the president and
- 17:12Speaker 8: the plant manager from Kenworth. And they said, hey, our
- 17:15Speaker 8: plant's in trouble. They said, we need a fair trade deal.
- 17:20Speaker 8: Foreign companies are assembling trucks in Mexico, avoiding the costs
- 17:26Speaker 8: and undermining our plant here in Chillicothe. And if we
- 17:30Speaker 8: don't get a good trade deal, our plant's going to
- 17:33Speaker 8: have to close and all of those jobs will go away.
- 17:37Speaker 8: They said, can we come see you and can we
- 17:38Speaker 8: talk to you quickly?
- 17:39Speaker 3: I said, sure.
- 17:40Speaker 8: Let's go have a conversation. Let's get this done.
- 17:42Speaker 7: I want to know.
- 17:44Speaker 8: And so they told me about their plight. And I
- 17:46Speaker 8: called the president. And I called his team. And I
- 17:49Speaker 8: explained to them that this plant in Chillicothe, one of
- 17:52Speaker 8: the great iconic Brands in our nation, Kenworth, was in
- 17:58Speaker 8: jeopardy of going under if we didn't get them a
- 18:01Speaker 8: fair trade deal from people who were trying to undermine it.
- 18:04Speaker 8: And immediately, the president and his team took action, saved
- 18:08Speaker 8: the plant, and added 1,000 jobs right here in Chillicothe.
- 18:23Speaker 8: And this is a great thing to remember. When Barack
- 18:26Speaker 8: Obama was president, he said, all of those manufacturing jobs
- 18:29Speaker 8: are going.
- 18:29Speaker 7: To go away.
- 18:30Speaker 8: Let's get used to it. Since Donald Trump has been president,
- 18:35Speaker 8: in the last 20 months, we've added 10,000 manufacturing jobs right.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Here in Ohio.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Mr.
- 18:49Speaker 8: President, you have not let Ohio down.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Ohio will not.
- 18:52Speaker 8: Let you down.
- 18:53Speaker 7: We will win on Tuesday, won't we, folks? Let's go
- 18:56Speaker 7: get them!
- 18:58Speaker 3: Outstanding. Packed crowd, like I said. Thousands of people that
- 19:03Speaker 3: are outside that can't get in. There's probably more people
- 19:06Speaker 3: outside than there are inside. Vivek Ramaswamy also taking the
- 19:11Speaker 3: podium to make his remarks. And it... This is just...
- 19:18Speaker 3: Top notch, right? These people are excited. I'm really curious
- 19:22Speaker 3: to see how Ohio turns out. Let's go to Vivek Ramaswamy.
- 19:28Speaker 8: Thank you, Mr.
- 19:28Speaker 2: President. This election actually comes down to something very simple.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Same thing as the 2024 election. Who's actually going to
- 19:37Speaker 2: make your life better? And if you think about that,
- 19:40Speaker 2: just honestly, not even the people who are in this room,
- 19:42Speaker 2: even the independents watching at home, Who do you actually
- 19:46Speaker 2: think is going to make your life better?
- 19:50Speaker 6: The answer is so clear. In 2024, Donald Trump, you
- 19:55Speaker 6: voted for him to do that.
- 19:56Speaker 7: You know what he did?
- 19:57Speaker 2: He passed the biggest tax relief package we've ever seen
- 20:00Speaker 2: in our history.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Big, beautiful bill.
- 20:02Speaker 6: And I'm proud of that for our country.
- 20:05Speaker 9: Yep.
- 20:08Speaker 2: And you know what I'm gonna do after I'm elected?
- 20:10Speaker 2: I'm gonna pass the biggest property tax relief package Ohio
- 20:13Speaker 2: has ever seen in our history.
- 20:23Speaker 7: Who's gonna make your life better?
- 20:24Speaker 2: President Trump sealed the border to keep illegal immigrants out
- 20:28Speaker 2: of the United States of America. And when I'm your
- 20:36Speaker 2: next governor, we're going to end the sanctuary cities to
- 20:38Speaker 2: keep illegal.
- 20:39Speaker 7: Immigrants out of the state of Ohio. It's that simple.
- 20:48Speaker 2: We could go on all night, but it comes down
- 20:50Speaker 2: to a very simple premise. President Trump puts Americans first.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I'm going to put Ohioans first. We're going to fight
- 20:58Speaker 2: for you and we're going to win this election next
- 21:01Speaker 2: Tuesday night. God bless you and your families.
- 21:03Speaker 7: Get out and vote.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Let's get the job done and we're taking America and
- 21:07Speaker 2: Ohio to the next level. Thank you, Mr.
- 21:09Speaker 10: President.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Again, that's Vivek Ramaswamy. And President Trump making his position very,
- 21:16Speaker 3: very clear that Democrats are trying to stop this momentum
- 21:22Speaker 3: of the Trump train of the MAGA movement by fighting
- 21:27Speaker 3: voter ID. And this is something that I think is
- 21:31Speaker 3: common sense for most people, right? I think when you
- 21:34Speaker 3: tell most people and do this experiment yourself, just meet
- 21:37Speaker 3: people in your neighborhood and go, Hey, did you know
- 21:38Speaker 3: you can vote without ID? I think most people will
- 21:40Speaker 3: realize that, um, what would think that you need one
- 21:45Speaker 3: and cause they just don't remember. And, You know, people
- 21:47Speaker 3: think signing in the book, or maybe they know the guy.
- 21:50Speaker 3: In New Jersey, you've got to sign in a book.
- 21:52Speaker 3: But most people I ask, they're like, you mean I've
- 21:55Speaker 3: never had to show ID?
- 21:56Speaker 11: Huh.
- 21:57Speaker 3: I think most people think they're getting lucky. They're getting over.
- 22:00Speaker 3: But let's go to the president on this.
- 22:02Speaker 7: That might be just as important as you guys getting elected.
- 22:06Speaker 7: Think of it. Voter, they don't want voter ID, the Democrats.
- 22:10Speaker 7: The Democrats, because their policies are separate. But they don't
- 22:14Speaker 7: want voter ID. Why? Because they want to cheat.
- 22:17Speaker 3: They don't want.
- 22:18Speaker 7: Proof of citizenship. Think of it. Because they want to cheat.
- 22:22Speaker 3: They don't want to... I talked to them. You know,
- 22:24Speaker 3: I know a lot of them.
- 22:25Speaker 7: Some are very friendly. I have good relationships with some.
- 22:28Speaker 7: I said, why don't you want voter ID? Well, I'd
- 22:32Speaker 7: rather not talk about that. There's nothing they can say.
- 22:35Speaker 7: They want to cheat. It's very simple. So get out
- 22:39Speaker 7: and vote yes on issue three to require photo voter ID.
- 22:44Speaker 7: Thank you. I don't know, fellas. That might be just
- 22:48Speaker 7: as important as you.
- 22:49Speaker 3: It might be. It might be just as important as
- 22:51Speaker 3: voter ID scenario. This is one of those things that
- 22:54Speaker 3: you've got to take super seriously. And listen, just for
- 23:00Speaker 3: a second, take yourself back to 2016, right? 2016, as
- 23:06Speaker 3: Trump would say, 2016. Now, in 2016, Trump had the
- 23:11Speaker 3: ultimate foil. Her name was Hillary Clinton. And he would
- 23:15Speaker 3: fill these stadiums with people chanting, lock her up, lock
- 23:19Speaker 3: her up. Well, let me tell you, that came back
- 23:22Speaker 3: to life tonight. Check this out.
- 23:24Speaker 7: Therefore, because she used a fake name to be sworn in,
- 23:28Speaker 7: I assume she must immediately resign from Congress.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Let's talk about Ilhan Omar.
- 23:59Speaker 7: She comes from Somalia, which isn't even really a country.
- 24:02Speaker 7: They have no government. All they have is crime and killing.
- 24:06Speaker 7: People kill each other. People walk around killing each other
- 24:08Speaker 7: all day. They don't even have a country. Therefore, because
- 24:11Speaker 7: she used a fake name.
- 24:13Speaker 3: So he wants to lock her up. lock her up,
- 24:16Speaker 3: lock her up. And listen, I get it. I get
- 24:20Speaker 3: the appeal. I, I realize that people, um, don't like it. And, uh,
- 24:25Speaker 3: nobody should, nobody should appreciate getting lied to by public officials.
- 24:29Speaker 3: And I can't wait to hear what the outcome of this.
- 24:30Speaker 3: I don't think anything will happen, but I would love
- 24:33Speaker 3: to see something happen, right? I'm with the rest of
- 24:35Speaker 3: you guys. Fascinating to see how this is playing out
- 24:39Speaker 3: so much, uh, investigating. Speaking of investigating, uh, We've got
- 24:45Speaker 3: an update on Eric Swalwell. Listen to this one.
- 24:51Speaker 12: Officers conducting a raid on a Beverly Hills mansion in
- 24:55Speaker 12: connection to the investigation of former Democrat Congressman Eric Swalwell.
- 25:01Speaker 12: As you recall, Swalwell resigned from U.S. Congress and withdrew
- 25:05Speaker 12: from the California governor's race earlier this year. after multiple
- 25:09Speaker 12: accusations of sexual misconduct. He had been living inside this home.
- 25:13Speaker 12: A friend of his, a very wealthy friend, kicked him
- 25:16Speaker 12: out after those allegations of sex misconduct came up. And
- 25:21Speaker 12: that friend's home is where they are now. Senior National
- 25:24Speaker 12: Correspondent William Lajeunesse in L.A.
- 25:26Speaker 9: William.
- 25:28Speaker 3: So we're not going to get into all of that,
- 25:29Speaker 3: but that's what's going on. This is, again, an investigation.
- 25:32Speaker 3: This raid had to do with prostitution. That is the
- 25:37Speaker 3: latest on what's going on with Eric Swalwell. One of
- 25:41Speaker 3: those pre-dawn raids. I'm watching the video of the SWAT trucks,
- 25:45Speaker 3: armored personnel carriers, pulling up while it's still dark outside.
- 25:49Speaker 3: And that is, in fact, exactly what happened with Eric Swalwell. Now,
- 25:52Speaker 3: to give you a little bit of an update there
- 25:54Speaker 3: on what's going on, let's go to this report from
- 25:57Speaker 3: ABC7 News in the Bay Area.
- 26:01Speaker 13: An FBI raid at the Beverly Hills mansion of a
- 26:03Speaker 13: billionaire donor tied to former East Bay Congressman Eric Swalwell.
- 26:08Speaker 11: Good evening.
- 26:08Speaker 13: Thank you for joining us. I'm Dan Ashley. And I'm
- 26:10Speaker 13: Amma Dates.
- 26:10Speaker 6: It happened this morning at the L.A.
- 26:12Speaker 14: Mansion of Stephen Klubeck, a former donor and friend of Swalwell's.
- 26:16Speaker 13: ABC 7 Eyewitness News political reporter Monica Mann has been
- 26:19Speaker 13: following the story for us and is here with the
- 26:21Speaker 13: very latest on this, Monica.
- 26:22Speaker 14: Dananama, here you can see the FBI searching Stephen Klubeck's
- 26:26Speaker 14: Beverly Hills mansion. And we're learning more about his ties
- 26:29Speaker 14: to Eric Swalwell, as well as new details about the
- 26:32Speaker 14: state of the former congressman's office. New video shows federal
- 26:37Speaker 14: agents raiding the Beverly Hills mansion of billionaire Stephen Klubeck.
- 26:41Speaker 14: ABC News has learned the FBI executed a search warrant
- 26:45Speaker 14: Tuesday morning in connection with its criminal investigation into former
- 26:49Speaker 14: Congressman Eric Swalwell, who spent time at the home.
- 26:51Speaker 11: They have to show probable cause that the place to
- 26:54Speaker 11: be searched, in this case the home, contains evidence of
- 26:58Speaker 11: a crime. Now, historically, homes are entitled to the greatest
- 27:02Speaker 11: protection under the law, the highest degree of privacy. So
- 27:05Speaker 11: judges don't normally sign off on those search warrants unless
- 27:09Speaker 11: the agents can show enough probable cause to do so.
- 27:12Speaker 14: Klubeck ran for California governor but dropped his bid and
- 27:15Speaker 14: spent a million dollars to support Swalwell. He claims he
- 27:19Speaker 14: later cut ties when Swalwell was accused of sexual assault.
- 27:23Speaker 14: The FBI has not said what agents were searching for
- 27:26Speaker 14: or whether anything was seized. The search comes two months
- 27:30Speaker 14: after federal agents seized Swalwell's iPhone and laptop at San
- 27:34Speaker 14: Francisco International Airport. Agents also searched his home in the Washington, D.C.
- 27:39Speaker 14: area the following day. The FBI investigation is centered on
- 27:43Speaker 14: allegations of sexual assault, with a previous search warrant, citing
- 27:47Speaker 14: a federal civil rights law, and other possible offenses. Swalwell
- 27:51Speaker 14: resigned from Congress and ended his bid for governor in April.
- 27:55Speaker 14: He denies the allegations and has not been charged with
- 27:58Speaker 14: a crime back in the Bay area. It's a different
- 28:00Speaker 14: kind of fallout. When house officials came to clear Swalwell's
- 28:03Speaker 14: former district office here in Castro Valley, his successor, Congresswoman
- 28:07Speaker 14: Aisha Wahab tells me what they found was more reminiscent
- 28:10Speaker 14: of a frat house than a congressional office.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Now check this out. So he, the Bay area, right?
- 28:17Speaker 3: I haven't been there in forever, but, um, Aisha Wahab
- 28:23Speaker 3: is who replaced him. And they say that they found
- 28:27Speaker 3: the district office, this is a professional building, looking like
- 28:32Speaker 3: a frat house. Check this out.
- 28:35Speaker 14: Nerf guns, boxes of wine, and even a door decorated
- 28:38Speaker 14: with the words, studs only. But Wahab says house officials
- 28:41Speaker 14: also found military medals and congressional awards left behind. Her
- 28:46Speaker 14: office is now looking to return the awards to their recipients.
- 28:50Speaker 14: Swalwell's attorney says that he left immediately after resigning and
- 28:54Speaker 14: that clearing out the office was the responsibility of his
- 28:57Speaker 14: former staff. And Swalwell's attorney did send me a lengthy
- 29:01Speaker 14: statement about his former district office, but the attorney did
- 29:05Speaker 14: not respond to my request for comment on today's raid. Now,
- 29:08Speaker 14: Klubeck's attorneys told us that he was not home when
- 29:12Speaker 14: the FBI searched his mansion, adding that he continues to
- 29:15Speaker 14: have faith in the judicial process of this country.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Dan, Ama.
- 29:19Speaker 13: Monica, thank you.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you, Monica and Dan and everybody else. Listen,
- 29:23Speaker 3: this mansion, by the way, looks like a small city.
- 29:27Speaker 3: I mean, this is not, if you're thinking 10 bedrooms,
- 29:29Speaker 3: this looks like it's 20. Easy. I mean, this thing
- 29:32Speaker 3: is huge. Looks like half a city block. Talk about mansion.
- 29:36Speaker 3: It's like a complex, like a compound. swalwell's living it
- 29:40Speaker 3: up and apparently living it up in his office as
- 29:43Speaker 3: well so as we get more news on uh eric
- 29:46Speaker 3: swalwell and his fallout from fang fang to 90210 i
- 29:50Speaker 3: will keep you posted but man what an interesting turn
- 29:54Speaker 3: of events for eric swalwell anyway straight ahead The latest
- 29:58Speaker 3: fallout on what happened with Ambassador Mike Waltz and the
- 30:02Speaker 3: beef he had with the Cubanos, that's coming up. Plus,
- 30:05Speaker 3: we're going to get into a couple of other things
- 30:07Speaker 3: about these FBI officials. I don't know if you remember
- 30:09Speaker 3: them who were charged with lying about Hunter Biden's laptop.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Nikki Flores and Bradley Benavidez. Well, there's an update in
- 30:18Speaker 3: their case as well. Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez.
- 30:22Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 30:48Speaker 3: President Donald J.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Trump, Mr.
- 30:50Speaker 3: President, welcome to the program, sir.
- 30:52Speaker 15: Well, thank you, Rich, and thank you for everything.
- 30:54Speaker 7: I know you very well, and I listen, but I
- 30:57Speaker 7: have a lot of people that listen, and they love
- 31:00Speaker 7: your show, and I appreciate it very much.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Well, thank you, America. Welcome back. Rich Valdez keeping you
- 31:05Speaker 3: company tonight. It's 9.24 p.m. and it's six days until
- 31:11Speaker 3: the midterm elections. Meanwhile, they're still counting votes in Israel.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu facing off against challenger Gadi Eisenkot.
- 31:22Speaker 3: And the New York Times is still saying there is
- 31:25Speaker 3: no sign of a clear winner as of 40 seconds ago. Again,
- 31:28Speaker 3: it's 9.24 p.m. on Wednesday night, we are six days
- 31:34Speaker 3: from the U.S. elections. And here's a quick report from
- 31:38Speaker 3: The New York Times. The New York Times, the great lady,
- 31:40Speaker 3: they've got the up-to-date stuff here on the Israeli election.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Listen to this.
- 31:45Speaker 16: I got a job.
- 31:52Speaker 1: We ran a good campaign. I think we convinced the
- 31:55Speaker 1: Israeli people.
- 31:57Speaker 14: I feel like the prime minister has done better than
- 32:00Speaker 14: some of the pre-campaign polls were suggesting.
- 32:06Speaker 3: And both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ghani Isinkat, who
- 32:09Speaker 3: believed in the opposition, they gave triumphant speeches, each of
- 32:12Speaker 3: them pretty much saying, hey, I won this thing tonight.
- 32:17Speaker 3: actually winning that thing for them. And they're having parties and.
- 32:23Speaker 11: Everything, so.
- 32:23Speaker 17: The Israeli people don't want another term with Netanyahu, but
- 32:27Speaker 17: we'll see who will.
- 32:28Speaker 6: Form a coalition.
- 32:29Speaker 3: I believe he'll win. The election's God willing. And this
- 32:32Speaker 3: is a big, big turnout with even the Arab parties.
- 32:34Speaker 7: Ben-Gabir.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Some of the Arab voters said they hoped they.
- 32:48Speaker 5: Could oust the current leadership.
- 32:52Speaker 7: The Arabs voted.
- 32:54Speaker 4: Upon the actions.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Of Smotrich, Ben-Gavir, Netanyahu. All the injustice that still comes
- 33:02Speaker 3: upon them is what this man was saying. Exit polls
- 33:05Speaker 3: suggest that the Arab parties may have won enough seats
- 33:08Speaker 3: to play a key role in forming the next government.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Netanyahu has effectively ruled in this coalition, and Eisenkot is
- 33:21Speaker 3: not interested in forming a government that way, but they
- 33:24Speaker 3: may not have a choice. It's all about these coalitions.
- 33:28Speaker 3: So as we get more news on that, I'll keep
- 33:30Speaker 3: you posted, but as of right now, Now that now
- 33:33Speaker 3: that now that not a damn thing. But we've got
- 33:37Speaker 3: an update from what's going on with Ambassador Mike Walls,
- 33:43Speaker 3: because last night he was on the Sean Hannity show
- 33:46Speaker 3: and made an announcement about what was going to happen.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Listen to this.
- 33:57Speaker 9: For I came on tonight. Secretary Rubio signed the paperwork
- 34:01Speaker 9: to eject the diplomat that thought he could, the Cuban diplomat,
- 34:07Speaker 9: the first secretary of their delegation who shoved and tried
- 34:11Speaker 9: to assault one of our American diplomats.
- 34:15Speaker 3: He's gone.
- 34:16Speaker 9: He is going to be on a plane to Havana
- 34:19Speaker 9: within the next 24 hours. You lay a hand on
- 34:22Speaker 9: an American here in the United States, President Trump, Secretary Rubio,
- 34:28Speaker 9: and myself, we're not going to stand for it. Just
- 34:31Speaker 9: before I came on tonight.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Excellent. So that was last night following the melee, I'll
- 34:38Speaker 3: call it, right? The Revolu, El Bochinche, que se formó
- 34:41Speaker 3: at the United Nations conference.
- 34:44Speaker 12: Uh.
- 34:44Speaker 3: all that drama you saw coming out of the united
- 34:46Speaker 3: nations yesterday uh... that was uh... ambassador mike walsh his
- 34:50Speaker 3: comments on the fox news channel last night fast-forward to
- 34:54Speaker 3: today he made his announcement right inside uh... that the
- 34:59Speaker 3: united nations and i think we have a clip of
- 35:02Speaker 3: that as well there it is going to play.
- 35:05Speaker 9: In response the regimes so-called diplomats responded by pounding their
- 35:12Speaker 9: desks screaming across this chamber, storming the podium, not respecting
- 35:18Speaker 9: the sanctity of this institution, and even assaulting an American diplomat.
- 35:23Speaker 9: And by the way, that conduct is in violation of
- 35:30Speaker 9: the host country agreement, and that so-called diplomat today will
- 35:36Speaker 9: be put on a plane back to Havana. It is unacceptable.
- 35:40Speaker 9: If you lay a hand on an American diplomat in
- 35:43Speaker 9: this body, there will be consequences.
- 35:47Speaker 6: And in response.
- 35:48Speaker 3: Yeah, well, listen. Thank you, Ambassador. I think that the
- 35:52Speaker 3: response here was appropriate.
- 35:54Speaker 9: Right?
- 35:54Speaker 3: Those guys got out of pocket. And honestly, I think
- 35:58Speaker 3: that's the diplomatic response. I think there should be more
- 36:01Speaker 3: of a response. I think it's about time that President Trump,
- 36:05Speaker 3: you know, gets it in gear over here with these people,
- 36:07Speaker 3: the Cubans, and says, hey, you know, I got a
- 36:10Speaker 3: lot going on. Listen, I'm sure President Trump is a
- 36:12Speaker 3: wiser man than me. No question. But in my non-infinite wisdom,
- 36:18Speaker 3: in my naivete, I would absolutely pursue a stronger posture
- 36:25Speaker 3: with Iran. I would absolutely pursue a stronger posture with Cuba.
- 36:31Speaker 3: And I would do it so that by election day,
- 36:34Speaker 3: we can say, yep, yep, took care of it. We're
- 36:36Speaker 3: all done. Now, I know that's not something that is
- 36:39Speaker 3: likely to happen, but that would be my choice. And again,
- 36:43Speaker 3: this is why when people say, you should run for office,
- 36:45Speaker 3: I tell them, man, I'm running away from the office
- 36:47Speaker 3: because I would make rash decisions. I know I would.
- 36:51Speaker 3: What's the use of having all those aircraft carriers and
- 36:54Speaker 3: cool fighter jets and the best top gun pilots if
- 36:57Speaker 3: you can't use them? If you can't say, hey, you
- 37:00Speaker 3: guys are acting up and I'm tired of negotiating. I'm
- 37:03Speaker 3: going to make this happen real quick and get it
- 37:06Speaker 3: over with. Let's get this world globe back on track
- 37:11Speaker 3: so we're not paying what we're paying for gas prices
- 37:13Speaker 3: so people aren't worried about getting bombed by the Houthi rebels.
- 37:17Speaker 3: That's where I'm at. I'm not criticizing Trump either. I'm
- 37:19Speaker 3: sure he has way more information than I do. But
- 37:22Speaker 3: from my perspective, I say finish the job, sir. We
- 37:25Speaker 3: support you. And one of the best ways to make
- 37:28Speaker 3: America great again is to eliminate Iran and liberate Cuba.
- 37:32Speaker 11: Right?
- 37:33Speaker 3: At least that's my thinking. You let me know what
- 37:35Speaker 3: your thoughts are. 877-381... No, that's Mark's number. My number, 877-VALDEZ1,
- 37:42Speaker 3: if you want to join me. And we will leave
- 37:44Speaker 3: some time at the end today for a little open
- 37:46Speaker 3: phone America. We have a few people that are in
- 37:49Speaker 3: the queue. And if you want to be in the queue,
- 37:50Speaker 3: you know what to do. 825-3371 is our phone number, right? 877-VALDEZ1. Now,
- 37:59Speaker 3: I was going to take a pause here, but I
- 38:00Speaker 3: think there's something else that I wanted to discuss. Oh, yes,
- 38:04Speaker 3: it's those two FBI agents... that were charged with lying
- 38:09Speaker 3: about the Hunter Biden laptop. And I will get into
- 38:13Speaker 3: that in the next segment for sure, because there was
- 38:15Speaker 3: some big news on that today. But before I do,
- 38:18Speaker 3: I just wanted to kind of put a pin in
- 38:20Speaker 3: our discussion here about what Secretary Rubio did in response
- 38:25Speaker 3: to the attack on the American diplomat that occurred while
- 38:29Speaker 3: Ambassador Walz was on the podium at the world stage.
- 38:35Speaker 3: in the United Nations building here in New York. And
- 38:38Speaker 3: Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed paperwork ordering the expulsion
- 38:42Speaker 3: of a Cuban diplomat from the United States following that
- 38:44Speaker 3: confrontation at the UN. And that's good stuff. The official's
- 38:49Speaker 3: name is Richard Tour de la Concepcion. That's, you know,
- 38:53Speaker 3: it's funny. My buddy Ruben the Cuban that I've talked
- 38:55Speaker 3: about on this program, that's actually his last name, Concepcion.
- 39:01Speaker 3: I wonder if they're related. I got a column about
- 39:03Speaker 3: this one. Anyway, He is the first secretary of Cuba's
- 39:06Speaker 3: mission to the United Nations. He's accused of shoving an
- 39:09Speaker 3: American diplomat and trying to grab his phone during a
- 39:12Speaker 3: clash at the UN headquarters. I saw that and I
- 39:14Speaker 3: played that for you yesterday. That was the clip that
- 39:17Speaker 3: I wanted to get to where they get into this altercation. Anyway,
- 39:20Speaker 3: he's gone and he's getting flown back out to Cuba.
- 39:27Speaker 3: And as you heard the ambassador say, you lay a
- 39:29Speaker 3: hand on an American in the United States, and President Trump,
- 39:32Speaker 3: Secretary Rubio, and Ambassador Waltz are going to make sure
- 39:36Speaker 3: that you're out of here. Get the rest of these
- 39:38Speaker 3: guys out of here and get this thing handled. Anyway,
- 39:41Speaker 3: I'm happy that they're getting tossed out of here. I
- 39:43Speaker 3: love the Cuban people, by the way. I think they're fantastic,
- 39:46Speaker 3: but I don't care where you come from, what color
- 39:49Speaker 3: you are, what your background is, if you're a commie,
- 39:53Speaker 3: I'm probably not going to get along with you. Pardon me.
- 39:56Speaker 3: It's a little late and I get a case of
- 39:58Speaker 3: the yawns every now and again. I got to hit
- 40:00Speaker 3: that yawn button. But yeah, I don't really get along
- 40:02Speaker 3: with the commies. I don't know if you do. Anyway,
- 40:05Speaker 3: I want you to hold tight right here. Keep it
- 40:07Speaker 3: locked because we're coming right back. We got a couple
- 40:09Speaker 3: more things to cover. We're going to talk about those
- 40:11Speaker 3: FBI agents and another story that I got that's freaking wild.
- 40:17Speaker 3: I don't want you to miss it. Don't go anywhere.
- 40:19Speaker 3: I'm Rich Valdez.
- 40:20Speaker 1: This is America. This is America. He's got the best
- 40:38Speaker 1: head of hair in podcasting. This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 40:46Speaker 3: All right, America, welcome back. Rich Valdez keeping you company
- 40:49Speaker 3: this Wednesday night, six days away from the midterm elections.
- 40:54Speaker 3: And just last night we heard news about these two
- 40:58Speaker 3: FBI agents that obscured and did something nefarious and tampering
- 41:07Speaker 3: with the Hunter Biden laptop, not being totally forthright and
- 41:11Speaker 3: honest with regard to that. And you would think, man,
- 41:14Speaker 3: that's a big deal. Yeah, we all did, right? President Trump,
- 41:17Speaker 3: of course, was asked that question just outside of Air
- 41:20Speaker 3: Force One just yesterday. And here's what he had to say,
- 41:23Speaker 3: accompanied by Secretary RFK Jr. and the head of Medicare
- 41:29Speaker 3: and Medicaid services, Dr.
- 41:30Speaker 15: Oz.
- 41:32Speaker 18: Two former FBI agents are officials are facing felony charges
- 41:37Speaker 18: tied to Hunter Biden. Do you think that the FBI
- 41:41Speaker 18: were protecting the Bidens before the 2020 election?
- 41:44Speaker 15: I guess I don't know exactly what it is, but
- 41:47Speaker 15: I heard they were arrested or charged and I heard
- 41:50Speaker 15: there were bad people. Yeah, the crooked people that, you know,
- 41:54Speaker 15: they are dirty cops like Comey.
- 41:57Speaker 7: Comey's a dirty cop.
- 41:58Speaker 3: Comey's a dirty cop. He always has a good tie-in. Well,
- 42:03Speaker 3: that was yesterday. Now, here's today.
- 42:08Speaker 17: A federal judge dismissed new obstruction charges today against two
- 42:12Speaker 17: former FBI officials for their roles in investigations into Hunter Biden.
- 42:17Speaker 17: In a court hearing today, the judge scolded Justice Department
- 42:20Speaker 17: lawyers for adding the charges overnight without a judge's sign-off.
- 42:25Speaker 17: Nikki Flores and Bradley Benavides are still charged with lying
- 42:28Speaker 17: to Congress during 2023 testimony, allegedly playing down their knowledge
- 42:33Speaker 17: about a laptop belonging to former President Biden's son. Their
- 42:37Speaker 17: lawyers have slammed the charges, blaming prosecutors for what they
- 42:40Speaker 17: called outrageous government conduct. A federal judge dismissed... Thank.
- 42:45Speaker 3: You, federal judge. And wait, it gets better, right? This
- 42:49Speaker 3: is the swamp doing what the swamp does, right? Well,
- 42:52Speaker 3: guess what? Here's what these FBI agents that were charged
- 42:56Speaker 3: with lying about the Hunter Biden laptop, here's what they
- 43:01Speaker 3: told ABC News. They're now accusing the Department of Justice
- 43:04Speaker 3: of serious abuse. A magistrate judge blasted the judge, as
- 43:09Speaker 3: you just heard in that report, the Justice Department attorneys
- 43:13Speaker 3: during a hearing Tuesday after the department put in an
- 43:17Speaker 3: overnight court filing, added a charge of obstruction for two
- 43:21Speaker 3: charges of lying to Congress that were brought Friday against
- 43:25Speaker 3: the two former FBI agents who investigated Hunter Biden. The
- 43:29Speaker 3: Justice Department on Friday charged Nikki Flores, a former deputy
- 43:34Speaker 3: assistant director of FBI's counterintelligence division, and Bradley Benavidez, another
- 43:39Speaker 3: former senior counterintelligence official, with allegedly making false statements to
- 43:43Speaker 3: Congress stemming from a probe into whether investigators in the
- 43:48Speaker 3: lead up to the 2020 election sought to suppress or
- 43:52Speaker 3: discredit the veracity of the material on the laptop of
- 43:56Speaker 3: former President Joe Biden's son, which included embarrassing photos and videos,
- 44:01Speaker 3: as we've discussed plenty of times. Now, the Department of
- 44:04Speaker 3: Justice early yesterday, Tuesday, announced that they've added obstruction of
- 44:11Speaker 3: a congressional proceeding charge. But in a contentious hearing, Magistrate
- 44:16Speaker 3: Judge Zia Faruqi slammed the Justice Department for the overnight filing,
- 44:23Speaker 3: which prosecutors posted to the case docket without receiving a
- 44:27Speaker 3: sign-off from a judge. The FBI and both the agents
- 44:31Speaker 3: who swore out the complaint also didn't include a signature.
- 44:35Speaker 3: So the judge says, I think they should have filed nothing,
- 44:38Speaker 3: said Judge Faruqi. They never had complaints filed on their
- 44:42Speaker 3: record that are unsigned waiting for a judge to make
- 44:45Speaker 3: a probable cause finding. I think that is inappropriate and
- 44:48Speaker 3: it harms the defendant. I'm frustrated that I got it
- 44:52Speaker 3: in the middle of the night, but I'm much more
- 44:54Speaker 3: concerned that it's not filed on the public record.
- 44:58Speaker 1: The U.S.
- 44:58Speaker 3: Attorney in the hearing, John Borchert, struggled repeatedly as Faruqi
- 45:04Speaker 3: asked him to explain the government's conduct, which the judge
- 45:09Speaker 3: said was unlike any case he'd ever seen in the
- 45:12Speaker 3: history of a D.C. district court. Judge Faruqi explained, ultimately
- 45:18Speaker 3: granted the request from Flores and Benavidez and their attorneys
- 45:23Speaker 3: to strike the amended complaint from the docket and said
- 45:27Speaker 3: he would continue Tuesday's hearing to determine whether prosecutors established
- 45:33Speaker 3: probable cause in their initial complaint that was filed last week. So,
- 45:37Speaker 3: Judge tosses it out, and on top of that, he's
- 45:39Speaker 3: yelling at everybody, saying that they made a mess of
- 45:42Speaker 3: what's going on. because somebody forgot a signature or whatever. Listen,
- 45:47Speaker 3: you got to cross those T's dot those eyes because
- 45:50Speaker 3: it's way too much going on, right? Way too much
- 45:54Speaker 3: going on in the, uh, in this case where people
- 45:56Speaker 3: walking away and whatnot. So I thought that was pretty interesting. Now, uh,
- 46:01Speaker 3: let's just sit on that for a minute. And when
- 46:02Speaker 3: we come back, I'm going to get into this story
- 46:06Speaker 3: that I think is just bizarre. And, um, I'll tell
- 46:10Speaker 3: you more about it when we return. Don't go anywhere.
- 46:13Speaker 3: I'm Rich Valdez, and don't move a muscle.
- 46:16Speaker 1: This is America. This is America. He's making podcasting great again.
- 46:35Speaker 1: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 46:42Speaker 3: All right, familia, welcome back. Rich Valdez keeping you company tonight,
- 46:46Speaker 3: Wednesday night, six days away from the midterm elections, 2026 midterms.
- 46:53Speaker 3: And I want to get into this story that I
- 46:56Speaker 3: thought was just bizarre. That's my word of the week, bizarre.
- 47:00Speaker 3: I mean, every now and again, you see these things
- 47:02Speaker 3: and it's like, man, that is some scary stuff. I
- 47:05Speaker 3: don't want to have to deal with that, right? I
- 47:07Speaker 3: don't want to have to deal with some of the
- 47:09Speaker 3: crazy that's going on in this world. But This is
- 47:12Speaker 3: a church, a real-life church, with a pastor and the
- 47:18Speaker 3: first lady of the church, the pastor's wife. It's, I guess,
- 47:21Speaker 3: an evangelical denomination. I don't have all of the information
- 47:27Speaker 3: about it. I just know that this particular church believes
- 47:34Speaker 3: in stuff that many people that call themselves Christians do
- 47:37Speaker 3: not believe in. I want you to pay close attention
- 47:41Speaker 3: to what they're talking about. This is wild. Play the tape.
- 47:47Speaker 10: And what we would call a polygynous marriage. My husband,
- 47:51Speaker 10: our prophet, he has a second wife.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 47:55Speaker 10: You know, prophet and I, you know, we are living
- 47:58Speaker 10: even right now in what we would call a polygynous marriage.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Say that again? We are living right now in what
- 48:05Speaker 3: we would call a polygynous marriage. She means polygamous. But
- 48:10Speaker 3: I get the point. She calls him prophet. She says,
- 48:13Speaker 3: the prophet and I have, listen to this. Our prophet,
- 48:17Speaker 3: he has a second wife. My husband, the prophet, has
- 48:20Speaker 3: a second wife. Are you listening to this?
- 48:23Speaker 10: Y'all know her. Y'all love her.
- 48:27Speaker 7: Y'all benefit from her ministry every week.
- 48:31Speaker 10: And so I just want to take this time and
- 48:33Speaker 10: just as a pleasure of mine to introduce to y'all
- 48:36Speaker 10: Prophet's wife and my sister in marriage, Minister Shekayla.
- 48:40Speaker 3: Minister Shekayla. So this woman comes out.
- 48:53Speaker 7: Wow.
- 48:53Speaker 17: Almost knocked me down.
- 48:57Speaker 3: And Minister Shekayla. is, again, the second wife of the prophet.
- 49:05Speaker 3: And they think this is cool. And I don't know
- 49:10Speaker 3: if this is a Christian denomination. It's called kingdom marriage.
- 49:14Speaker 3: I don't see... I don't know what it's called. Life work.
- 49:18Speaker 3: I don't know if this is a... Jesus-centered church. I
- 49:21Speaker 3: would suspect it's not. But whatever it is that they believe,
- 49:25Speaker 3: they believe that it's okay to be married. Listen to more.
- 49:28Speaker 3: This is so amazing. I bet it is so amazing
- 49:32Speaker 3: for you, Mr. Prophet Man.
- 49:34Speaker 6: Just a few words.
- 49:35Speaker 5: From Minister Shikala to see whatever she wants to say.
- 49:40Speaker 6: Well, good afternoon, everyone. Cats out the bag.
- 49:46Speaker 3: The cats out the bag.
- 49:49Speaker 6: Elephants in the room.
- 49:53Speaker 5: First, I want to just give honor to God, you know,
- 49:56Speaker 5: who is leading us and guiding us. And then my
- 50:00Speaker 5: husband and then also my sister in marriage. It's I
- 50:05Speaker 5: want to speak to the fact that I know people
- 50:08Speaker 5: have questions. People have comments and concerns. And one thing that,
- 50:14Speaker 5: you know.
- 50:15Speaker 3: You're damn right. We got questions and concerns. That's putting
- 50:20Speaker 3: it mildly.
- 50:21Speaker 6: What I want to address is that.
- 50:24Speaker 5: It is amazing to know that this is the will
- 50:27Speaker 5: of God and to live it.
- 50:29Speaker 3: That's the will of God? I mean, listen, I've read
- 50:31Speaker 3: the Bible. at least once, and I read it all
- 50:35Speaker 3: the time, you know, in small parts, small spurts, I've
- 50:38Speaker 3: yet to see where you can take multiple wives. The
- 50:41Speaker 3: only thing I've seen that raises an eyebrow for me
- 50:43Speaker 3: today is what Hunter Biden did. And if your brother dies,
- 50:47Speaker 3: you can take his wife. It's actually a mandate. And
- 50:50Speaker 3: Biden did that and it was creepy, right? And listen,
- 50:53Speaker 3: I'm not here to judge, but I'm just sharing my
- 50:56Speaker 3: observation about that. But I don't see how this is
- 51:00Speaker 3: something we're supposed to do.
- 51:02Speaker 5: I have not been slighted, not one bit, and I
- 51:05Speaker 5: have gained so much. I mean, I have gained so much,
- 51:09Speaker 5: and I've learned so much from Pastor. I mean, he's
- 51:13Speaker 5: poured so much into me.
- 51:15Speaker 3: I bet he's poured a lot into you.
- 51:17Speaker 6: To our family, and we are a family.
- 51:19Speaker 5: We don't walk around like individuals fighting, beeping, but it
- 51:23Speaker 5: is a family dynamic in the image of what God
- 51:26Speaker 5: wants to put.
- 51:27Speaker 17: In the earth.
- 51:27Speaker 5: And there are people who have known for some time,
- 51:30Speaker 5: and I just want to say thank y'all for supporting us,
- 51:32Speaker 5: for loving us, for praying for us, for fighting for us,
- 51:35Speaker 5: for warring with us. I mean, it has been a journey,
- 51:39Speaker 5: and though it has been a learning experience, it keeps
- 51:43Speaker 5: getting better.
- 51:44Speaker 3: Oh boy, it keeps getting better. The gift that keeps
- 51:46Speaker 3: on giving. A polygamous marriage in a church.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Ay, bendito.
- 51:51Speaker 6: It just keeps on getting better.
- 51:53Speaker 5: God just keeps increasing us, keeps blessing us, keeps taking
- 51:56Speaker 5: us through the journey, and we're learning and we're growing.
- 51:58Speaker 6: And we've had the pleasure of just even impacting.
- 52:01Speaker 5: So many other people around the world. There's been people
- 52:04Speaker 5: in different states that has reached out like, this is
- 52:06Speaker 5: our life. We want to live the life of God.
- 52:09Speaker 5: There's been people who's been kicked out of churches because
- 52:12Speaker 5: they live this life and they don't have anywhere to go.
- 52:14Speaker 3: Yeah, they've been kicked out because it's called living in sin, ma'am. Unbelievable.
- 52:19Speaker 3: It's also illegal in most states.
- 52:21Speaker 6: Worship. They don't have anywhere to be vulnerable.
- 52:23Speaker 5: They don't have anywhere to go and pray and talk
- 52:26Speaker 5: to talk to God because people shun them and shun
- 52:29Speaker 5: it so much.
- 52:30Speaker 6: But God's word is real. God's word is true. We
- 52:33Speaker 6: are a strong family.
- 52:35Speaker 3: I mean, we are a strong family.
- 52:38Speaker 5: We benefit from her worship. We benefit from the revelation
- 52:43Speaker 5: in the word. We benefit because it's a house of prayer.
- 52:46Speaker 5: God uses us to pray, uses me to pray. I mean,
- 52:49Speaker 5: it is just such an amazing thing to just be
- 52:53Speaker 5: a light.
- 52:53Speaker 6: And somebody, it has to start somewhere. And we're blazing
- 52:56Speaker 6: a trail.
- 52:57Speaker 7: Amen.
- 52:58Speaker 6: Catching on fire. So, yes, God bless y'all.
- 53:01Speaker 7: I love y'all.
- 53:02Speaker 3: That is amazing. Can we clap one more time for Mr.
- 53:04Speaker 6: Shaquille O'Neal?
- 53:07Speaker 3: Can we clap one more time for Minister Shikala? Man,
- 53:12Speaker 3: let me tell you. This is a prostitution of the gospel. If,
- 53:17Speaker 3: in fact, this is a Christian church. I don't know
- 53:19Speaker 3: what kind of church this is. I would hope that
- 53:21Speaker 3: it's not. But irrespective of its denomination and its tradition,
- 53:28Speaker 3: this isn't the way. I know the Mormons believe in this.
- 53:33Speaker 3: I know the Muslims believe in this. apparently these people
- 53:37Speaker 3: believe in this. And I'm not necessarily against this. I
- 53:40Speaker 3: am for what I believe the Bible has called us
- 53:43Speaker 3: to do. Now, yes, in the Bible, in the Old Testament,
- 53:46Speaker 3: there's talk about people having multiple wives. I get that.
- 53:50Speaker 3: I know that's a tradition that they do. It's just
- 53:53Speaker 3: one I wasn't raised around. And I have a tough
- 53:57Speaker 3: time keeping a girlfriend, let alone a wife, let alone
- 54:00Speaker 3: more than one. I don't know. Maybe that's the challenge
- 54:03Speaker 3: for me is that's the problem. You're trying to, You're
- 54:05Speaker 3: putting all the pressure on one woman, Rich. You need
- 54:09Speaker 3: a sister wife to help her out. My sister in marriage, right,
- 54:12Speaker 3: as she called her. I don't know. This is crazy stuff.
- 54:15Speaker 3: If you want to chime in on this topic or
- 54:18Speaker 3: any of the other topics we have, I'm happy to
- 54:20Speaker 3: get into this. There's stuff we talked about last night.
- 54:23Speaker 3: I'd love to hear from you. I want to hear
- 54:26Speaker 3: from you. Give me a call.
- 54:27Speaker 16: Hi, this is Charlie from Worcester County, New York.
- 54:31Speaker 3: Hey, Charlie. Welcome to the show. Go right ahead.
- 54:34Speaker 16: And I'd like to speak about AOC.
- 54:36Speaker 3: What's on your mind about AOC? All out crazy. Go
- 54:39Speaker 3: right ahead. Make your point.
- 54:42Speaker 16: Make a point that she is not a true New Yorker,
- 54:47Speaker 16: and how people don't point that out. That's been a
- 54:51Speaker 16: problem since day one, that she's like, not only to
- 54:54Speaker 16: the community she represents, but.
- 54:57Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, and not to cut you off, but
- 54:59Speaker 3: what's interesting about this, Charlie, is that she... has kind
- 55:04Speaker 3: of made herself out to be somebody that was born
- 55:07Speaker 3: in a hospital in the Bronx, but grew up in Westchester.
- 55:10Speaker 3: And listen, I was born in a hospital in Brooklyn,
- 55:12Speaker 3: lived in Brooklyn until I was about 12. And before
- 55:16Speaker 3: I turned 13, I think I moved to Jersey. And
- 55:20Speaker 3: you are able to absorb some of the culture. I'm
- 55:22Speaker 3: not sure that she was able to absorb that culture
- 55:25Speaker 3: from Yorktown Heights, which is a wonderful neighborhood, by the way.
- 55:27Speaker 3: If I had to raise kids, I'd much rather raise
- 55:30Speaker 3: them in Yorktown Heights than in Brooklyn or the Bronx.
- 55:33Speaker 3: But that's what she chose to do. And it's just
- 55:36Speaker 3: one of those things where you're calling out her hypocrisy
- 55:40Speaker 3: or her falsehood here.
- 55:42Speaker 16: But just never having actually a job as well.
- 55:46Speaker 3: Ah, yeah. Well, not only she did not have a job,
- 55:48Speaker 3: I think she was a bartender, so that might not
- 55:50Speaker 3: be fair. But what's interesting about it is that even
- 55:53Speaker 3: in the job she has now, she's never even passed
- 55:56Speaker 3: a single piece of legislation. And I think that's pretty wild.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:04Speaker 16: I think just a total fraud. Anyway, I'm trying to
- 56:08Speaker 16: get on the show to ask you that question. I
- 56:10Speaker 16: don't know if it's possible.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Yeah, of course. And I'm happy to talk about that
- 56:15Speaker 3: because ultimately, Charlie, I think what happens here is you've
- 56:18Speaker 3: got AOC all out crazy, my least favorite congresswoman from
- 56:22Speaker 3: the Bronx and Queens, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. And you're right to
- 56:27Speaker 3: call her out for being a fake, a phony, and
- 56:28Speaker 3: a fraud. Now, as far as never having a job,
- 56:31Speaker 3: she never had political experience, but Neither did Donald Trump, right?
- 56:34Speaker 3: He wasn't even so much his dog catcher. And look
- 56:37Speaker 3: at the tremendous president he turned out to be, not once,
- 56:40Speaker 3: but twice so far. And, you know, I just think
- 56:43Speaker 3: of how bad things would be if anybody's crying about,
- 56:46Speaker 3: you know, tightening their belt right now and going through
- 56:48Speaker 3: some tough times financially. Imagine if he wasn't the president.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Imagine if Kamala Harris was in office. My goodness. Think
- 56:57Speaker 3: about that for a second. Charlie, my brother, thank you
- 57:00Speaker 3: for your call. I appreciate it. Let us continue. All right,
- 57:03Speaker 3: let's go to Ohio and check in with Arthur. Arthur's
- 57:07Speaker 3: in Ohio. Give me a call. 877-381... No, wrong number. Valdez1.
- 57:13Speaker 3: Go right ahead. Yes, go right ahead.
- 57:16Speaker 9: Yeah, hi.
- 57:16Speaker 3: My name is Arthur.
- 57:17Speaker 5: I'm calling from Dayton, Ohio.
- 57:19Speaker 3: Hey, Arthur. What's going on? What do you want to
- 57:21Speaker 3: talk about tonight?
- 57:23Speaker 16: And I want to talk about the chances of Vivek Ramaswamy.
- 57:27Speaker 3: Yeah, well, listen, I think Vivek Ramaswamy did a phenomenal
- 57:30Speaker 3: job tonight. You've got Vivek is in Ohio with John
- 57:36Speaker 3: Husted running for Senate. And President Trump was there. And
- 57:39Speaker 3: I think they did an amazing job. Listen, Vivek Ramaswamy
- 57:42Speaker 3: was probably one of the strongest candidates in the 2024 election. Him, RFK,
- 57:48Speaker 3: President Trump. And it doesn't surprise me at all that
- 57:53Speaker 3: he's right now running for governor. It won't surprise me
- 57:56Speaker 3: at all if he wins. And it wouldn't surprise me
- 57:59Speaker 3: at all if he wins and succeeds as governor. If
- 58:02Speaker 3: he runs for president, because the writing's on the wall.
- 58:05Speaker 3: Another one that could do that, I think, is Marco Rubio,
- 58:08Speaker 3: who could run for governor if he felt like it
- 58:10Speaker 3: before doing this. I don't think he would. I think
- 58:12Speaker 3: he's probably ready to rock and roll. He's got the momentum.
- 58:15Speaker 3: Byron Donald is another one. Executive leadership now as governor
- 58:20Speaker 3: when he wins. I speak that into existence. And I
- 58:23Speaker 3: think these guys are the Republican bench. There's plenty. Meanwhile,
- 58:28Speaker 3: you turn around, you look at the Democrats. And you
- 58:31Speaker 3: don't see Hakeem Jeffries on the campaign trail. You don't
- 58:34Speaker 3: see Chuck Schumer on the campaign trail. You just see
- 58:37Speaker 3: these newcomers all the time. Gran Platner, the other guy,
- 58:43Speaker 3: the lumberjack, Troy Jackson, who's the one in Angie Nixon
- 58:48Speaker 3: in Florida. I mean, it's one weirdo after the next.
- 58:51Speaker 3: Don't forget Tallarico and El Sayed. I mean, this is
- 58:55Speaker 3: just a freak show. when it comes to politics, right?
- 58:58Speaker 3: These are big tax and spend liberals that are communist sympathizers.
- 59:01Speaker 3: So I think people with sense will vote against that.
- 59:05Speaker 3: My fear is that there's a lot of people with
- 59:07Speaker 3: no sense. I don't know if that makes any sense. Arthur,
- 59:09Speaker 3: thank you for your call, my brother. That's pretty much
- 59:11Speaker 3: all the time that I've got for today. But I
- 59:14Speaker 3: always like to bid you adieu by saying you got
- 59:16Speaker 3: to stand for something, because if you stand for nothing,
- 59:18Speaker 3: you'll fall for anything. And the only thing necessary for
- 59:22Speaker 3: evil to triumph is for good people like you to
- 59:25Speaker 3: sit there and do nothing. So make sure you do something.
- 59:27Speaker 3: Make sure you vote. Make sure you get people to
- 59:29Speaker 3: the polls. Hasta la proxima. I'll check in with you tomorrow.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Five days away. Take care. Good night. And God bless you, America.
- 59:36Speaker 3: I'm Rich Valdez. And this is America.
- 59:40Speaker 1: This is America.
