  Speaker 1: before we get into Mark chapter 16. Lord Father that

  Speaker 1: art in heaven, I come to you in prayer to

  Speaker 1: be able to have the Holy Spirit be able to

  Speaker 1: speak through this mic and go through the listeners' ears

  Speaker 1: and be able to reach their hearts and minds and

  Speaker 1: be able to apply these verses to their lives. In

  Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen. So we're

  Speaker 1: going to jump into it. Hope that you have been

  Speaker 1: having a great day thus far. Great morning, great afternoon,

  Speaker 1: great evening. Whenever you press play, I just thank you

  Speaker 1: the way. There's going to be something in this Mark

  Speaker 1: chapter 16 that stands out to all of us. Because
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: you're not just the listener, so am I. I want

  Speaker 1: to make that clear. So it's titled, Three Women Discovered
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: That Jesus Is Alive Again. This is after the resurrection, right? So,

  Speaker 1: I highly encourage. So, Mark chapter 16, verse 1 states,

  Speaker 1: After the day of rest had finished, the women brought
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: some spices. They wanted to mix these with some oil
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: to put on Jesus' body. These women were Mary, the Magidel, Salome,
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: and Mary, the mother of James, they went out at
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: dawn on the first day of the week, Sunday. They
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: went to the grave in the rock where Joseph had
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: put Jesus' dead body. Verse 3, the woman asked each other,
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: who will roll away the heavy stone for us? It
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: closes the entrance to the grave where they put Jesus'
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: dead body. Forgive me for the semis. Forgive me for
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: the cars. I am on the side of the, I'm
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: on a sidewalk. So there's going to be some extra
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: noise probably that comes in. Or maybe it's noise cancellation.

  Speaker 1: Then they looked and they saw that the stone was
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: a very big stone. But someone had already rolled it
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: away from the entrance. When the woman went into the
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: grave hole, they saw a young man there. He was
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: sitting in there on the right side. He wore bright
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: white clothes. The women were very afraid. The young man
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: said to them, Do not be afraid. You are looking
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: for Jesus from Nazareth. Soldiers killed him on a cross.
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: But he has become alive again. He is not here. Look.
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: You can see the place where the men put him.
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: But now you must go to tell his disciples and
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: Peter about this. Tell them Jesus is going to Galilee,
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: and you must also go there. You will see him there,
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: just as he told you it would happen. Jesus knew
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: his assignment. He knew that he was going to be killed, crucified.
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: And before that, humiliated. Hanged on a cross. And he
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: knew that in three days he was going to rise.
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: And what I want you to take from these verses
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: is that, yeah, you might feel dead inside. You might
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: be feeling like ready to give up. You don't have
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: the psychic vision like Jesus did, right? But in three days,
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: something will come alive in you. Whether it's three days,
• 4:06
  Speaker 1: three weeks, three months, three years. We all evolve. There's
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: old patterns that have to die. There's people that we
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: have to cut ties. Friendships that are no longer... Feeding
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: your purpose. It does not matter how long you've known somebody. Anymore. There's.
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: There's no such thing as. Pure loyalty. People gossip. Talk
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: behind your back. And I'm going a little off of this.
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: But I want. I want you to. Understand. That. Even
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: when people get in your way. People think that. They're
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: going to really. Make a mockery out of you. That
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: you're going to rise. You're going to rise to the occasion.

  Speaker 1: And this is how we break down these Bible verses
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: on the Amber Show. And I mean we as me

  Speaker 1: and the Holy Spirit. This isn't just me. So I

  Speaker 1: want you to understand something as we get into. Verse 8.

  Speaker 1: The woman went out from the grave hole. They ran
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: away from that place. They were very upset that they
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: had trouble in their minds. Because they were afraid. that
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: did not say anything to anyone. People who saw Jesus
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: after he became alive again. Jesus became alive early on
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: the first day of the week. He appeared first to
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: Mary from Magda. Jesus had caused seven bad spirits to
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: leave her. So this is An eyewitness not only... To the...

  Speaker 1: The death of Jesus but... The miracle that casting out those...
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: Seven spirits? Seven bad spirits. Not just one. But seven. And...

  Speaker 1: She went to... The people... Who had been with Jesus.

  Speaker 1: They were all very sad. And they were crying. Mary
• 6:27
  Speaker 1: told them that Jesus was alive. And she told them.
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: That she had seen him. But they did not believe it.
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: After these things. Had happened. Jesus appeared. To two. Other disciples.

  Speaker 1: They were walking away from Jerusalem. To their village. It
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: seemed to them that. Jesus was different. Those two disciples
• 6:57
  Speaker 1: went and told all the other disciples, but the other
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: disciples did not believe them. People are going to discredit
• 7:10
  Speaker 1: what you vision, what you believe, and what you've even
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: seen with your own eyes. A lot of people, in
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: order to believe, they must have to see. And they
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: don't have any faith. And that's. Not passing judgment. It's.
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: Something that we've all had to face. And you know
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: you've also heard. Don't always believe what you hear. Right.
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: This kind of goes back all the way back then.
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: This is where it all like resonated from. But sometimes
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: people are telling you things. That are the truth. And
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: you don't believe them. Oh. And you don't believe them.
• 7:57
  Speaker 1: Because one. You probably have been living a lie. Or
• 8:01
  Speaker 1: you've been a compulsive liar. Or you've told a bunch
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: of white lies. And you've got a custom of seeing.
• 8:11
  Speaker 1: What results out of that. Alright. Let's go ahead and
• 8:15
  Speaker 1: close this out. Jesus speaks to the eleven apostles. After that,
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: Jesus appeared to the 11 apostles. Obviously, you see they
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: say 11. It's not 12. Judas is already gone. And
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: that's also another thing. Not everybody's going to stick on
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: your team on this journey of life. Whether you're following Christ,
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: whether you're just believing, or you have no faith at all.
• 8:44
  Speaker 1: You're an atheist. There's going to be People that leave.
• 8:52
  Speaker 1: The ones that stay. Those are the ones to keep.
• 8:59
  Speaker 1: Then Jesus said to them. Go to all people everywhere
• 9:05
  Speaker 1: in the world. Tell God's good news to everyone. Let
• 9:11
  Speaker 1: me just repeat this. Mark chapter 16 verse 15. This
• 9:15
  Speaker 1: is the most important verse. And this is how we're
• 9:18
  Speaker 1: going to close out. And then I'm just going to
• 9:20
  Speaker 1: give a little bit of my preaching, teaching, and whatever
• 9:24
  Speaker 1: I want to speak. This is my show. But glorifying God, though.
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: Then Jesus said to them, and this is what we
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: all must do as believers and followers of Christ. Go
• 9:36
  Speaker 1: to all people everywhere in the world. Tell God's good
• 9:40
  Speaker 1: news to everyone. So you got faith? Tell somebody about it.
• 9:46
  Speaker 1: You got a friend that doesn't have that relationship with Jesus,
• 9:52
  Speaker 1: don't be afraid to tell them about Jesus. Don't be
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: ever afraid or ashamed. That you rely on a higher
• 10:01
  Speaker 1: power than. Your own will. Because I also want to
• 10:05
  Speaker 1: just make this clear too. God gave us a free will.
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: And he did that to see. Who would really seek him.
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: Who would really choose him. Now, speaking from a rebel
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: point of view, having the conscience now of Christ, obviously,
• 10:29
  Speaker 1: but I'm still a rebel. I'm a sinner, just like you.
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: I ran the streets. I went to bars. I went
• 10:40
  Speaker 1: to clubs. I engaged in drugs. I engaged in activities
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: that are very sinful. But I'm no longer that person anymore.
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: And that's because I've chose. And I got four minutes.
• 10:57
  Speaker 1: I want you to understand these verses that no matter what,
• 11:02
  Speaker 1: Jesus knew what was up. And I don't have to
• 11:07
  Speaker 1: sit here each and every day and mope and grind
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: until I lose my mind. And what I mean by grind,
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: I mean I'm already rich in spirit because I have
• 11:24
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit. Amen? I know how it feels to
• 11:30
  Speaker 1: be poor. I know how it feels to eat leftovers
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: that are beans, bacon that have been frozen and just
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: re-warmed up in the microwave in a container. Maybe, and maybe, maybe,
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: just maybe have some rice underneath that and have that
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: on top. Maybe cornbread if I was blessed enough to
• 12:01
  Speaker 1: see that. And no matter what, we all got a
• 12:08
  Speaker 1: story to tell, but a lot of people are ashamed
• 12:11
  Speaker 1: of their past. And I'm here to tell you that.
• 12:18
  Speaker 1: Don't be ashamed. Help the next person that's in line
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: No matter what... People are going to let you down.
• 12:36
  Speaker 1: God won't though. If you stay connected with him... I
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: got two. I just saw two, two, two. Angel time.

  Speaker 1: We all have a choice. And if God didn't even
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: spare his own son... You think... He or it... Is
• 12:59
  Speaker 1: going to spare you. I don't like to necessarily refer
• 13:02
  Speaker 1: to God as a he. All the time. I know
• 13:05
  Speaker 1: that that's maybe how you've heard it. But I believe
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: that it's an it. He. Jesus. The son of God.

  Speaker 1: And the Holy Spirit. I want to make this very.
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: very clear you have an opportunity today to show God
• 13:33
  Speaker 1: that you care go ahead and share this or go
• 13:38
  Speaker 1: ahead and pray to Jesus that you see his plans
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: for you because it might it might surprise you what
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: he shows you over time plans are revealed But you've
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: got to be an obedient participant. Just like you have
• 14:03
  Speaker 1: been an obedient participant in smoking, drinking, overeating, clubbing. I mean,
• 14:12
  Speaker 1: we can go down the list of things that don't
• 14:14
  Speaker 1: necessarily glorify God. It's not as boring as a lot
• 14:24
  Speaker 1: of people may think it is. Being in recovery. I
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: only got 30 seconds. So I just want to say this.

  Speaker 1: That more will be revealed. And more versions of myself.
