  the in laws who lived in San Diego, just moved to New

  Hampshire. So they have been in the midst

  of a huge move and I spent all weekend helping them move into

  their new home, which is beautiful, by the way, the

  picturesque huge property in New Hampshire.

  No income taxes, you know, Hey, there's a lot of benefits.

  Of course, I'm certainly going to miss visiting in San Diego,

  but hopefully we'll still go every every year, every two
• 1:16
  years and go to a Padres game and get some of the best tacos

  and the best weather around. But it was a great time.

  But again, it was more, more work than or I guess there was
• 1:25
  definitely some play and some fun, but a lot of work on that.

  But it was fun to do. So it's great to see my wife

  have her, her mom and her stepdad and her brother and

  sister and her niece back in her life again.

  She actually went from San Diego to studying in college at St.

  John's when she was 17. And now I'm third.

  I just turned 38, she's 34. She's got her family back in her
• 1:49
  life and it's great to have them back.

  So that's what I was doing this weekend, having a good time

  helping the in laws move into the New New Hampshire house.

  Let's look at the Colorado Rockies visiting the Miami

  Marlins. Probably not the matchup you'd

  expect to talk about, but I noticed a big sharp steam move

  and then also a fate of Colorado play.

  More on that in a second, but let's set the stage for this
• 5:04
  one. The Rockies, obviously, if
• 5:06
  you've been living under rock, they, I believe, just set the
• 5:08
  record for the worst start in the history of baseball.

  And baseball has been being played since like the 1800s.

  Nine and 50 just got swept by the Mets.
• 5:16
  They lost 5 to 3 yesterday as a + 335 Rd. dog.

  Meanwhile, the Marlins below 500, but quite a bit better than
• 5:23
  the Rockies 23 and 34. They did just drop two or three
• 5:27
  though against the Giants. They lost 4 to 2 yesterday as a
• 5:30
  -. 105 home dog. So pitching match up here for
• 5:34
  tonight. The Rockies are going to go with
• 5:35
  the righty Herman Marquez. He's one and seven 7.13 ERA.

  The Marlins, meanwhile, going to go with the righty Max Meyer.
• 5:43
  He's three and four 4.53 ERA. So what do we see across the
• 5:47
  market here? Well, this came open with Miami
• 5:49
  listed around a -, 180 home favorite with the Colorado
• 5:53
  Rockies around a + 165 Rd. dog and you're you would assume,
• 5:57
  hey, that's a big number on Miami, right?
• 5:59
  They're not a very good team. Lane 180.
• 6:01
  But Nope, sharps are rushing the window to fade.
• 6:03
  Colorado Marlins have gotten steamed up -180 upwards of -200
• 6:08
  at this point. Now I got Miami at -190 I still
• 6:12
  think you can get -190 a Bet MGM, but shop around because a
• 6:15
  lot of other books again are -195 -, 200.
• 6:19
  But aside from that 20 cent steam move, we do have the
• 6:21
  Marlins getting 84% of money line bets, 90% of money line
• 6:26
  dollars at DraftKings. So Big Pro and Joe Bet split in
• 6:29
  favor of Miami. I would assume that the Joes are
• 6:32
  just saying, hey, fade Colorado, which even though it's kind of a
• 6:35
  a square out are you lazy handicap, it's also a winning
• 6:40
  handicap. We'll get to that in a second.
• 6:41
  But it tells me that also pros hit Miami saying, hey, when that
• 6:44
  open -180 maybe we had this thing closer to -200 based on
• 6:48
  our projections, which is why you've seen that Steam hit
• 6:51
  Miami. A lot of system matches here on
• 6:54
  the Marlins. When both teams are below 500,
• 6:57
  just take the favorite, very simple system.
• 6:58
  But is 65 and 36 this year, 64 percent, 5% ROI.
• 7:04
  Both teams coming off a loss, take the favorite 37 and 2065
• 7:08
  percent, 4% ROI. And then big home favorites -175
• 7:13
  or more in the opening game of a new series.
• 7:15
  Basically you start a new series, the home favorites
• 7:17
  expected to win. Well, they've done pretty well
• 7:19
  48 and 1379 percent, 13% ROI. The Marlins do have a couple
• 7:25
  other angles that I like. 1 would be a non division
• 7:28
  favorite. So lack of familiarity
• 7:29
  benefiting quote UN quote the better team and also correlative
• 7:32
  betting. Marlins are upwards of nearly a
• 7:35
  -, 200 favorite. Mine moves in their favor and

  also it's a low total of 8 actually open 8 1/2 and got bet
• 7:41
  down a little bit. So it's always nice when you see

  the total fall or get juiced downward as well as the line
• 7:47
  going toward the favorite. Hopefully that means it's a, you
• 7:49
  know, 4 to one game, something like that.

  Miami does have the better offense.
• 7:53
  Hopefully their bats can get to Marquez.

  They're hitting 248 this year. They've scored 232 runs.

  Colorado's only hitting 2:15 this year and they've only

  scored 184 runs. You dig into these pitchers a
• 8:04
  little bit more. Meyer has actually been pretty
• 8:07
  good at home. 2 and one 3.48 ERA.

  You know, Marquez on the road. Listen to this O and four 9.42

  ERA. So I want to fade Marquez on the
• 8:17
  road here tonight Colorado. You know you can pick so many
• 8:21
  different numbers here to explain how bad they are, but
• 8:24
  they're 3 and 28 on the road. By far the worst Rd. record in
• 8:27
  baseball on the road tonight. And then listen to this.

  If you had faded Colorado every game this year.
• 8:32
  Now, do we know they'd be this bad?
• 8:34
  No, they're historically bad. But just goes to show you, if
• 8:37
  you had faded Colorado every game this year, you would
• 8:39
  produce A50 and 9 record, 85% win rate, 23% ROI.

  If in other words, if you'd put 100 bucks against the Rockies
• 8:48
  every game, you'd be up nearly $1400 at this point.

  So it seems obvious again, like those scare you sometimes.

  Maybe tonight's the night Colorado post a win, but the

  markets moving toward Miami. We have good bet splits and
• 9:00
  system matches. I'm going to fade Marquez.

  Let's look at ANL Central match up between the Brew Crew and the

  Cincinnati Red Legs. Milwaukee comes in 32 and 28.

  Just swept the Phillies. They've actually won seven

  straight. I swept my Red Sox right before
• 9:21
  that, but they won the finale against the Phillies. 5:00 to
• 9:24
  2:00 as a + 135 Rd. dog. That's hard to do.

  Sweep the Phillies at Philly. Conversely, we've seen the Reds
• 9:30
  29 and 31. They just dropped two or three
• 9:33
  against the Cubbies. They lost 7 to 3 yesterday as a
• 9:35
  + 135 Rd. dog. So pitch a match up for this

  one. We got the Brewers sending out
• 9:41
  the righty Aaron Savalli. He's Owen 1 ERA of 6 Reds,

  meanwhile, going to righty Brady Singer.

  He's six and three 4.6 O ERA. Now what do we see across the
• 9:51
  market? Well, this game open Reds round
• 9:53
  a -. 125 home favorite, kind of a short chalk home favorite.

  Milwaukee around a plus one O 5 Rd. dog.
• 9:59
  And the public doesn't know what to do here.

  They say, hey, you know, Milwaukee's hot better record,
• 10:04
  but Cincinnati's at home short number.
• 10:07
  So right down the middle at DraftKings 5050.
• 10:09
  And what do we always talk about when you're looking at a bet
• 10:12
  split of 5050? Basically just the remember,
• 10:14
  there's a just ticket count, not money 5050 theoretically no
• 10:18
  reason to adjust the number. You know, you would assume the
• 10:20
  odds makers would just keep it right where it's at.
• 10:23
  However, sometimes you see a 5050 bet split, yet you see a
• 10:27
  line move. And really though that line move
• 10:29
  is, is meaningful to me because again, 5050 a line shouldn't
• 10:32
  move at all. But if it did, that tells you
• 10:34
  that even though the tickets might be down the middle, the
• 10:36
  money, the more respected money is leaning one side, the side
• 10:40
  that's taking in the line move. And that's what we've seen here.
• 10:43
  Because even though it's 5050, we've seen Cincinnati fall -125
• 10:47
  down to -115 some shops even down to -110 we've seen
• 10:51
  Milwaukee go from plus one O 5 to now plus 100 or even -1 O 5.
• 10:56
  In other words, we're basically seeing smart Brewers money push
• 10:59
  this game down toward a pick them.
• 11:01
  Milwaukee does have a couple other angles I like divisional
• 11:04
  dog. So built in familiarity,
• 11:06
  levelling the playing field, benefiting the team, getting
• 11:08
  plus money. Dog high total total.
• 11:10
  This one is 9. Remember, we lean on a lot of
• 11:12
  favorites when we like a low total, like Miami being close to
• 11:16
  -200 with a total of 8. But this one we got a dog with a
• 11:19
  total of 9. So high total on a dog.
• 11:22
  Typically a good thing. More expected run scored, more
• 11:25
  variance, more upset opportunities.
• 11:27
  Now if we dig into these pictures a little bit more, I
• 11:29
  know. So Valley's numbers don't look
• 11:31
  great. O in one area of 6, but he's
• 11:33
  only made three starts. He got absolutely lit up in his
• 11:35
  first one. But in the two starts in May ERA
• 11:38
  of three, you know, he's pitched 9 innings, only giving up three
• 11:41
  runs. On the flip side, Brady Singer,
• 11:44
  yeah, he's got a six and three record.
• 11:45
  That's pretty good. But in the month of May, he had
• 11:47
  a 6.39 ERA and five starts, gave up eighteen runs in 25.1 innings
• 11:53
  pitched. Milwaukee has again played very
• 11:55
  well as of late. They won seven in a row, but
• 11:58
  over their last 10, they're hitting 288.

  They have a team ERA of 3.36. The Reds over the last 10
• 12:03
  hitting 251, ERA of 5.13. Brewers, by the way, are three
• 12:08
  and one against the Reds this season.

  So you had me at the 5050 line move public down the middle, but

  this line's falling toward Milwaukee.

  So what do you seen across the market here?

  Well, nothing but steam on the Tigers.

  Tigers opened around a -, 200 Rd. favorite.

  Chicago around a + 170 home dog. Even though it's a big number,

  you've seen nothing but steam on Detroit -200 up to -215 I got

  him at -215 Best price now is at FanDuel -220 and some books are
• 13:37
  even up as high as like -230 -, 235.

  So definitely try to shop around.

  You know 220 looks like your best number.
• 13:44
  Also important here like any bet, you know bet risk, respect
• 13:48
  to win. If you are playing you know
• 13:50
  Miami with me, your risking 1 unit to get a little less than
• 13:52
  1/2 unit back. If you're playing Milwaukee,
• 13:54
  you're risking 1 unit to get a unit back.
• 13:56
  And if you're playing Detroit, you're not risking.
• 13:59
  If you're -220 betting to win would mean you're risking 2.2
• 14:02
  units to win one. No, no, no, you're always
• 14:05
  risking 1 unit. I'm a big proponent.

  You probably notice by now of flat betting and betting to
• 14:09
  risk, not win. So if you're betting Detroit
• 14:12
  -220 again, you're risking your one unit like any other bet.

  You're just getting a little less than 1/2 unit back if you
• 14:18
  win. Now, why is that important?

  Because if Detroit loses to the White Sox tonight, I hope they
• 14:23
  don't, but we only lose 1 unit instead of 2.2, which is betting
• 14:27
  to win. So I always want to mention
• 14:28
  that. But aside from the steam, we do
• 14:30
  have great bet splits here on the Tigers.
• 14:32
  They're getting 89% of money line bets and 94% of money line
• 14:36
  dollars at DraftKings. And then it's circa 76% of bets,
• 14:40
  99% of money dollars. So big low bets, higher dollar
• 14:44
  split there on the Tigers. Tigers do match 4 systems for
• 14:48
  me. Rd. favorites -170 or more in
• 14:51
  which the line moves in their favor.

  So you're, you're favored, you're on the road, you're a big
• 14:55
  favorite, you're becoming more of a favorite.

  Those teams have done very well. 30 and 1370 percent, 4% ROI.

  If you just look generically at big favorites -200 or more, you

  know, typically you don't really want to lay a lot of -2 hundreds
• 15:08
  because when you win, you don't win a lot.

  And when you lose, you know you're losing units.

  It's all about the risk versus reward.

  However, this year in baseball, big favorites -200 or more are
• 15:19
  115 and 3875% with a 5% ROI. And if that -200 favored or more

  also made the playoffs the previous year, they're 80 and
• 15:28
  2477% with an 8% ROI. There's another nugget.

  Yeah, Detroit has really cleaned up against bad teams this year.

  When they're playing a team that missed the playoffs the previous

  season, they've gone 24 and 777 percent, 37% ROI.

  I'm going to bank on the Tigers bats hopefully getting to

  Cannon. They're hitting 249 on the year,

  68 homers, 296 runs scored. White Sox only hitting two 2147

  homers, 201 runs scored. Tigers have the better bullpen.
