- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: As always, I'm waiting on Yoni to be ready to record because somehow there's always something to do.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: Like, right now, he's rinsing his coffee cup.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: Which I do appreciate, you know, you gotta rinse.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_00]: You gotta at least put some water in the pans, in the pots, in the cups.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: You can't just leave it dry to dry up in the sink, you know.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: Um, now he's putting on his glasses, thinking he's all that.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: When you're wearing these glasses, kind of looks like he has a children, which I like, it's cute.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: What's up, everybody?
- 0:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm back on the couch.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: Feeling good today?
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you got it.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited for today's episode.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we are just continuing with the yesterday's, or not yesterday's, so last week's episode.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: I can still be excited for that, right?
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I think we should just get right into it because they want to jump right into it?
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: I do have an appointment.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like there's so many episodes where I just gotta go leave for something.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: So we're carrying on.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: If you didn't listen to last week's episode, you should because this is a part two of our pre-baby bucket list.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: Last episode was so far, it was so easy for us.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: Last episode, yeah, last episode was good.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: Is that how I said it?
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's how I was going to say it.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, we talked about the places we want to go travel and all that and we also talked about our self-care and wellness like things you want to just like keep in mind as we're getting closer to our timeline.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: And when we do get closer to our timeline, when we want to get pregnant, I kind of don't want to talk about it because when we do, let people know that we are pregnant, I want it to be like a surprise.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, we're not going to be like so guys.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: We're trying.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: I guess, yeah.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: You're trying today.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: That would be crazy.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: No, that would be wild.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm, I'm, I'm, yeah, I know, I know.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying, I guess, like we're talking a lot about like, I feel like this past this season.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: We've talked quite a bit about kids and stuff, but I want to be like done talking about it for like a minute.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: So people almost forget that we're like thinking about it and boom, we're pregnant.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about it so much, yeah, I feel like people will just keep wondering about it.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's not like people really are keeping up with us like that anyway, so that's a matter.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: But let's get into the rest of the list, right?
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: So let's start with relationship.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: We have a few categories.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: We have travel.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: We have relationship.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: We have a home.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about that in the last episode.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: We have career things and social stuff.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: So let's talk about relationship.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: What are some things that you feel like for our relationship before we, you know, it's no longer just two of us.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think we should prioritize?
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: want to come to our relationship like I'll just read what we have on the list so that's easier.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's one that I want to say right now is that I think I want to go on just a lot of dates.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: Take it back to day one, you know?
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we really don't prioritize going on dates because we're just together so often that it feels almost like there's no need to like go on a date type thing.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like let's get dressed up really nicely and go to like a few just nice
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like that would be good.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like that's important to do in a relationship because sometimes you get caught up in We're living our lives.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: We're working working together and it's a it's cool and all but like Life is happening life is not passing by but life is is not waiting for nobody You know, it's Tuesday and the next thing you know, it's Friday Yeah, you know, so it's like to let's say sometime.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, no, I'm Friday.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna go out.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna step out.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: Just me and you because again Once we have a baby and I know stepping out like that.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: without any kind of thinking of anything else.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's such a thing to just like, okay, you know, let's just go and we can come back whenever we want.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, so let's just do that.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: I hear that.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I want to add to that to say, I want to start implementing.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how often, but maybe we should do it like,
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: at least once a month, if not twice a month, that we have a full tech-free weekend.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: Tech-free, I think, instead of tech-free, we should just see screen free.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: specific yeah a full of full weekend skint yeah skint free for this other talk gets so scared no scream yeah i'm talking like saturday and sunday no screams that's too much that's all no uh yeah honestly that's one week in a month that might be a lot for me
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: The last class split it can split to Kenny like one day here in the next one four weekend that the last weekend of every month Both Saturday and Sunday from what we wake up when we go to bed on Sunday.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: We will do we will not use our phone Well, you know, I have I have I have like people in my wife, right?
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean talking on the phone is different
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying no being on the phone, like scrolling, looking on Instagram.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: What about posting a little story?
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: No, off.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: You can post on Monday what you did this weekend.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's okay.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, nobody's really like, oh, where's Yoniette?
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: What is he up to?
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: People are also living there like fun and weekend.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: No, I like that idea.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: I like all phone.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: Other than like, yeah, if you call somebody or something that's different, but like, no, using like your phone for anything else
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, what about the picture on the episode that comes out on Sunday?
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you better get that shit done before the Sunday.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: Um, also no, no TV, like no TV show, no movies, not that.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say if you want to go, if you want to go like watching movie, we'll go watch movie like in the theaters.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's, that's, that's big screen right there.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: Because I feel like it would just be because I feel like it would just be good to have like one weekend where we don't Like we don't entertain ourselves with screens.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: So what do you think about a movie theater?
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: You don't think that's a screen, babe.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I said worst case, like, if you really want to go, like, watch and move you or something, that will at least take you out of the house, but it would just be nice to challenge ourselves that, like, one weekend, we simply just don't use, not on the computer, we're not on the phone, we're not looking at the projector, not of that, and let's see what happens, like, what are we going to entertain ourselves with all day?
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the other day we were talking about what do people do?
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: Those who don't have social media
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: And it was kind of embarrassing to admit that I don't know how you can, I mean, how would one entertain themselves if they didn't have social media?
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's a lot of ways to do that.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of ways.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: There's books, activity, come home, watch TV.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: If you live with someone, talk to them about some shit.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, so there's a lot of ways.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: I want to have a weekend where like the, the TV's not even an option.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a no TV, no computer.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: And we, yeah, let's really see what happens.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: And then talk about it on a part.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: screenless weekend.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm going to, I'm actually going to write that down in the episode.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: screenless, I don't know.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: You guys know I love titles, okay?
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: Um, a title really helps, like, guide us.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: Scree.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we have a list where we write down all of you guys, the suggestions and an episode topic.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: So if you have any, just send it over and we'll add it to the list.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, I think that would just be really good for us.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I think, like, I think we are going to enjoy a lot.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: We can paint.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: we can like go for a long walk, we can spend like we can play music and make dinner together, we can play board games, just mean you, we can like go hang out with some friends, like all that, not that we don't hang out with friends.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: No, but I do like that idea a lot.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think that would be really nice.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: One weekend a month, we'll we'll do that.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I wrote, spend more time not talking about work.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: This is something that we've been struggling with ever since we became business partners.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: Who can talk about work as if we're talking about anything else?
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's just hard not to.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's so effortless.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like I actually like it.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like it's fun.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: I actually love talking to my work because it's like, what should we do for the part?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: What should we add?
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: What is that always just the podcast?
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes we talk about your work.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes we talk about my work.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's just because it's so integrated into our lives.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: And we also, again, just spend so much time together that,
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: We don't need to dedicate a specific moment to like catch up or to talk about like our family or like our relationship or or like a random different things because we talk about all those things when they randomly come to us because we're mostly in the same space.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: So if there's something that I want to tell you like oh, you know what I just thought about?
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'll just tell you when I thought about it.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have to save it for when we have like a date night and then we talk about it.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't have to save it for when you see me when it will get all from work.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's like you can see me right there.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but there are times obviously when we don't see each other and then I'll have like a story to tell you or you have somebody to tell me.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: I like when we say stories for the pod.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: If it's appropriate.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: Let's not make it all about work.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, but like something sometimes with something happens and you're not around me.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I need to save that for the pod and I'm going to tell you and just gay reaction then because it just makes for good, it's a good episode, you know, people like that kind of stuff.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: I like it.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: That's true, that's true.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay, what's the next one?
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I have another one and I don't know, I'm interested to see what you think about this one, but I would like to do a photo shoot.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe more than one.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: a photo shoot are we talking about like photo booth for a show like that's not a photo shoot
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: So like actually like higher photographer and have them like photograph us yeah And like for us to get like you know your hair is gonna be like nice and fresh Like it is now like I just think you'll be really cool to have like a very nicely sharp like nicely dressed nicely dressed like how we like to dress
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know, somewhere outside or something like that.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like a cool, just like Alia, you only photoshoot.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think you'll be nice to have just because we don't have a lot of photos together.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: I mean we have photos together that we take either ourselves or like the one time the one time we just don't have those friends that take photos of us like yonis like in our couple in our relationship he's the guy that like takes photos of other people.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: Of everyone but we don't have like the other friends that we have that might be in a couple they they're not like that like one person in the relationship is not really like the photographer of the relationship
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and isn't really like we don't have friends that think like, oh, let me take photos of Yeah, because everyone is just like in the moment, you know, like I'm the only one who thinks about Ooh, I'm gonna take a photo of this.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: I gotta take photo of that Yeah, they look cool over there.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: Let me go over there and just take a photo.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: I just think like that's so Like we just don't really have a lot of photos together that it's like, oh, like look at us when we were young You know something that and there's something about a photo shoe that is nice too because I don't know you get to be really
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: I just think it would be a nice idea.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like right now I'm looking at you with like your hair that you just got done.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's like nice and fresh and then you put it up and then you can really see your like beautiful face.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: I want to record us in time.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we are recorded in time on the internet.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: But I get what it is.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but it's not really for the internet.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's not us.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: I get what you're saying.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: No, I want it.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: I want that too.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like I just don't think we have to think about it.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: Is it like the grandparents photos when they were young?
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like actual photos?
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, I don't remember.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_00]: I wrote this like a long time ago.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: Now I want to do it out, I want to do it.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be really dope, actually.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: And also one where it's like, we look, we look like nice and like, we put an outfit together.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like a nice location.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: And also like, we don't have, like, we didn't have a wedding.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: Where we had like photos on our wedding day.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: And we didn't have a reception.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: And we didn't have like, these other things where it's like, we have a photo where you and I just like,
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: You know, look the best we've ever looked if you want to say that.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: No, I definitely want to.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I need to have a nice college shirt.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: No, I think you should have, like, not a suit, where you should have like a, like, this funny, because as, as in between recording this, I was looking on Instagram and then there was like a, this, like, content creator that just got married.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: And she posted photos from when they had their reception, not their reception, like the welcome drinks or whatever.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: So they were dressed up and not in like a bride and groomed up of Alfe, it was more like the guy
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: slightly oversized like not super tailored or tight suit and then she was like wearing this nice dress but it wasn't like a wedding like a bride dress anyways it was it was nice and they looked very like chic but effortless you know we'll do so I feel I could be cool to do that
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and the last one I have on here is I think it would be really cool and maybe we can figure out when we'll be the best time to do this.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: But we should record a video message to our future selves as parents.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be a fact we already have one, we already have one, but that one is crazy.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: The one we have is crazy.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: What do you mean we already have one?
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: Which one?
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: The one that we recorded, I don't know if she got to know this, but we recorded a video for our future kid.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_00]: He did.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_01]: You my old room member.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's not really like what I'm talking about.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's like so random.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about like sitting down, turning the camera on.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like a podcast episode.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: No, like talking into the camera as if like you're wishing someone have you birthday through a video.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to do a separate deal?
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: No, like together.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: Damn, that'd be kind of like... Not just randomly in a video mentioning, like, our future children.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about a message also to ourselves.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_01]: Should we say for what year it is?
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like, hey, Yoni, it's 2025 right now.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like, like, Yoni in like, 20, 35.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like, do you address the time you're in now or do you address them in the future?
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: Both.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: You do both.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like there'll be so cool.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's that we recorded right now.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_00]: We say the date where we're at, where we're living.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: And like we're just, we'll just talk.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: So it's kind of like, hey, Yoni, it's 2023 now.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: You have two beautiful children.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: You're not talking in the future.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: You just talk about where you are right now.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, so what do I say that?
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: Just say where we yet.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a recorded part of like you're just saying like we're living in this apartment.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, like that.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I'm thinking like you're predicting the future.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, the point is to say like also it would be cool to it.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of like a journal entry to like say what are the things that we're working on right now.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like what trips maybe we have coming up.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: What's up?
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: We just came back from like that idea.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like random shit like that.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: You know who did that?
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: Mr.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: Beast, he recorded it a year ago, and I actually just came out earlier this month.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, see, we're not putting this on the internet, we're not monetizing this.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: That he was, and he scheduled it, so he recorded in 2015 and it came out this year, and it was like, yeah, so I'm here in my room right now, and he looked so different, but it's pretty cool idea.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, I wrote this before he did all that, damn.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, okay.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, on to the next, we have career and finance goals, or like, pre, pre, baby, I mean, this is like a pre-baby bucket list slash like plan before we have a kit.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: So basically, you know, plan to have as much money as we possibly can.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, I mean, for the finance one, we have to talk to a financial advisor about like business and personal budget slash saving and create a plan and budget for all that because that's one thing they're like, we don't have we don't have a budget.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like it's going to be so helpful to, because you can actually see everything.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like everything is categorized.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: We kind of just like eyeball.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_00]: For me, I would love to like meet with somebody and be like, here's my tax return.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: This is like, how much money we made, like this is how much money we spent, all these things are business, podcast, all the stuff, et cetera.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: Based on this, how much money should I spend,
- 17:52[SPEAKER_00]: every month as a business and then personal and then yeah and how few variations and it's like this is how much if like this is your goal.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: So if I want to have like a child like how much should I factor in and then if I want to save money for a home like what should I do for that?
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: And they might even bring up some stuff that we don't even think about.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm sure they will.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: And there's also this thing that would be great for you guys and we just come to like, oh,
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because I feel like they have a, they have a good gauge on like, okay, if you want to buy a home, these days it's hard to find a home.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's, I don't know, like I feel like all the homes these days are like a million dollars, which is insane.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: Million dollar home.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: I remember I mean, not all.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: No, of course not all.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_00]: It just depends like where you live and what kind of home you want.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I would like more than one bedroom, but regardless, like homes are really expensive right now, interests rates are really high right now.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: So we're not necessarily looking to buy a home like within the next year or even two years, but like you want to start saving and like make a plan so that when you are ready to buy a home, like usually that means you're financially ready.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: But to be financially ready, you have to like be working towards that goal.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's like you're working, but it's like very like planned.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, like you're not what you're doing.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: The money's coming in, but it's about like, what are you doing with the money?
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: And are you also asking it like, where is it going?
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: How much money should you like make a budget for yourself that it's like, okay, after rent and after like this necessities, this is how much I have left leftover to like play around with every month.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: That has to be like an established thing.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to be really serious about like putting money aside,
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: And also just spending habits.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's so easy, especially here in New York.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: You go outside, you spend $20, and then you didn't even mean to.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: 20 is not easy.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: That's what it's like.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's like books.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: No, you be spending like 50 books that I'm realizing.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: So, oh yeah, let me get a coffee, then let me go do this.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: Let me go do that.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: Easy.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: There's a pop up out of nowhere actually left your house to go get one thing and then there's an amazing pop-up somewhere You're like them.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: I need that.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: Or I want to stop by.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because you can just yeah, there's just this pop-up everywhere for no reason And another thing is to plan for our parental leave
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: Which this is like career slash finance in the sense that because we work for ourselves with the podcast, with all the videos and all the content and all that, we are on a weekly cycle.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: That turn around is quick because of that when we will, you know, the first.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: couple months, three, four months after like the baby arrives, most people that have a regular job depending on the, you know, every country is different.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: We are not going to talk about where is what, because in the U.S. there's like basically no maternity leave, but we have to like basically create that for ourselves.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: and plan for that.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, okay, how much time are we like going to take off completely from all these things?
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean for like, you know, the podcast?
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean for you to?
- 21:21[SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean for like me and with my agency like talking about that, figuring out like how much time do people usually take off?
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like, do you pre-film?
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's like it's, it's a very, it's weird because like we've never like taken time off.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's usually like, you take time off, but you actually just have to work double the amount or triple the amount before you take the time off.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: So then when you're off, there's still content being put out.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we usually do whenever we go anywhere.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's why we can be in Europe from month, but then the episode still come out weekly because right before we left, we were just in the studio just pre-recording and filming.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what I think, like with my videos too, it's like the big thing for me is for the videos to be like, in real time, sort of like, nobody wants to watch a video that was filmed in August and it's now December.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, so...
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, do you know that, though?
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like that.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, for a vlog, people like right now, whenever I'm watching like a vlog or something, I like seeing somebody that is in the same like time as me.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like watching a vlog that just happened like a couple days ago or like that Yeah, it's like they're also drinking like a pumpkin spice latte.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah You know, yeah, it's important to to put it out like soon after and this is something I'm learning with my youtube channel like I just posted a video that was from like a month ago More than that more than that
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, I mean, I think I get it.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think with your test videos, it could be a little bit different, but I know for like vlog and lifestyle content, I like consuming content that I know was like recorded not that long ago and was also like,
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: They're you know, it's it's October and they're also talking about like what they're doing in October They're not talking about like what they did in June.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's like October It's like yeah, I'm about to go swimming.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's a beautiful summer day today It's like where you know it's not outside.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_00]: I mean if you're on vacation going somewhere in it's hot there That's different, but
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, so I feel thinking about like am I going to pre-film videos and like what are those videos going to be like and then Before audio episodes, though, I will say I'm not talking about your videos, but before.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: So I can continue For the audio episodes, I feel like that could easily be continued.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like in a while.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not trying to like worry about having to record the podcast when we're like taking care of our 10 day old baby
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: I know, right.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's not possible.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's not impossible.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to do it.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like for the first couple of months, like we're going to be in like changing diapers, like sleep deprived.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's the stuff.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: We got about the sleeping part.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it can be waking up every two hours.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like I am not trying to think about like having to sit down here and having the power to be crying.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, hold on a second.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: We paused it.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, I'll know.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's going to be too much.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: So that's something that we have to figure out, obviously not right now, but like eventually we have to figure out what, like how much time we're going to take off.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_00]: What are we going to do to prepare for that?
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: WTJ break is will be coming up.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, parentally.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's not coming up.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: No, like coming up whenever that time will be.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: So that's in terms of career.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, let's see, what do we have?
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: It sounds like a career before the baby or just in general.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: That's this.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, this is like before the baby.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I was thinking about for me, I really, really, really want to have my first gallery, whether it's with another artist in collaboration or just myself.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I was thinking about that this morning in the reason why I feel like I have enough photos for a show, for a gallery.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm stuck between
- 25:11[SPEAKER_01]: Having a themed, gallery, or just my favorite moments that I've captured because it's like I don't always have to.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: Not everything has to be cohesive, yes it's nice when you walk into a gallery and it's titled something and all these photos are from maybe I can do it like from one specific location, these are all the photos but as far as like telling the story and I feel like people over romanticize
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: tell on the story, which I get why people like that, tell on the story in within your photograph, but for me sometimes it's about just when I'm stepping outside, I'm talking about street photography and what I'm stepping outside and I'm just capturing what life gives me.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: And something is very hard to like force the story, like we talked about the art museum.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: You can make up anything.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like to do that.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't feel like genuine to me.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: If I can maybe in hindsight, I can be like, okay, cool.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: There's a story here, but I don't.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, sometimes it doesn't have to be like a legit story.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_00]: It could also be like a visual theme.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_00]: It could be like an intention behind the photos where it's like a series.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, it's not always just a story.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes someone put together gallery that is like, I don't know, like the same subject or the same,
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: of same location.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like there has like, it almost feels like for you to make it have a showing that has to be a thread between like all the photos that you can follow.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: But see, I don't, that's what I'm batting with.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: I've battling with.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like it's, you don't, it doesn't always have to be like that.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's something that I, I mean, that's up to you.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like most of the time, when you see a gallery, it's like that.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just like, these are the artist's favorite photos.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, one second, because the love top is dying as we're recording this.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: And what are you gonna plug it in?
- 27:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but both of the things are being used, we can pause this, okay, we're back, sorry, we just had to plug in the computer.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: But you gave it, I'm saying, and that's one of those things that I feel like it holds me back and I'm overthinking like, what's the story?
- 27:37[SPEAKER_00]: I do think it would be useful for you to like,
- 27:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, network and maybe like talk to a few other people that have like had their own shows like maybe even talk to like a galerist not necessarily for you to like try to have a gallery or like a show in a gallery you can like, you know, have your own show in like a space that's what was going up in here.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I feel like you could really do some like research about because like when you do it you want to do give it justice you want to give yourself justice and like do it well and maybe like if this is a goal that you have like you are more intentional with it actually being like a project.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like if you have this project that you want to have a show and you want to have a thing it's like maybe you already have photos that you like, but I also think it's okay to like shoot with the intention of like people do that all the time artists do that they have a showing they have a gallery and they will make they will make our and they will make pieces for that show.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a different way of working everybody works differently.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_01]: Some sense people go out with the attention of the project and some people make the project after collecting photos for a number of certain amount of years.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, yeah, I mean, you know that better than I do.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like in general, whenever I've seen any type of art being shown, there's a cohesiveness between the pieces.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and saying usually you call it like the blah blah blah collection or like the part of it this was part of the blah blah like zip it or the you know, yeah, but it out it also depends because then there's artists that have been
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: like making art or photographers or sculptures or whatever for so many years and they have this name for themselves that now they could be shown in a gallery with like certain chosen pieces from their collection.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know that they've had over the years.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not necessarily that they made pieces for that, for that gallery.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_00]: I just think like, I don't know, I think it'd be cool to just kind of like make this a goal since there's also like a timeline, you know, within like the next two years.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's kind of also I have so many photography books and some of them They don't it's not it's not cohesive.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: They're just like each each photo is they can write something about that Maybe that's just the story behind that photo.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: Also all these photographers are like Now old Yeah, so they've had like and at lifetime of like photos and work that they've put together into one Over time they didn't take photos for that book
- 30:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's like a collection of like 20, 30 years of their work, you know, so that's different.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_00]: So you're not like, you're not in your 60s yet.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, I'm not, but all I'm saying is that I don't want to overthink and wait until I have, because it's hard to have a 20 photos that are all cohesive and it makes sense.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_01]: This is, then, I'll wait like 10 years before I have that.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but you can also maybe like search within your creative bank of like what's something that really inspires you, what's something that is like really interesting to you as a photographer and as somebody who
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: wants to record life happening.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: Is this every day life?
- 31:26[SPEAKER_01]: I know, but every day life from this year and next year is going to look the same.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: But every day life encompasses like so many different things.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean the one thing that I know for sure is like the the long projects that I'm doing for like your book or like the all the photos that I've been taking of you throughout the years.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: That's a clear project that I have in mind.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: That's the only thing that I can be like, this is the book of Alia.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's, that's one thing, but all my other work, I feel like it's okay, cool, different countries, different photos, different vibes, maybe that could be categorized as separate projects.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm saying like what if you wanted to like go on a specific photo project and you're going to go to the Congo and like take photos.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, of course.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's where I'm saying that's very clear and intentional.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm saying.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I think a more clear and intentional, like, like,
- 32:24[SPEAKER_00]: direction, it will, it carries out like there's a reason why people do like a collection, people do like a stream line of consciousness throughout some sort of thing.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's satisfying to the person ingesting the art, you know.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: I understand that completely, but up until now, I haven't done that and have so many photos, what does that mean for those photos?
- 32:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but also those photos don't, like, they can still be the photos you have so far are still important even if they're not in a gallery, or even if they're not put together in a show.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_01]: But see, so this is the last thing I'll say about that I want to show them because I have some work a Patel now that deserve and I feel like I need to put them up in a show.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: Just because it wasn't a specific trip.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm saying about overthinking that you can show the work.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you also just can't have like, uh, yeah, okay.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: Can't have what no, you just can't have like a lot like you can't have like a gallery every every year No, you know, and I just have this thing where it's like if you are gonna have a show where you're showing your photos and your work You want it to be Like it's also it's okay that you're overthinking it because that means that you care and you want to put it at a good show Nice going for round you don't want to just throw together like oh, yeah You know some photos.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: I really liked and like here you go come see the photos
- 33:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, but those photos will not go there will be up at some point somewhere.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying they shouldn't be.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but the idea of traveling so much specifically to shoot something and be able to put something together, that's that makes so much sense and I want to do that.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like it could be that or it could be like in New York, you specifically focus on like,
- 34:01[SPEAKER_00]: something.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: I just know that when there's a pattern and there's a theme, it's like us as humans, we really take satisfaction in that.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I think there's the reason.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why there's stories, and that's why there's a reason why certain things are done the way that they are.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's sometimes just been thinking about that's it.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: Next, what do we have?
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: um i mean for me with like career stuff i'm just gonna just want to like get better at posting short form videos because there's still like kind of a crutch in my step so since i'm so like long form content girl um once we it's not just a two of us and i'm gonna be a mom i just
- 34:51[SPEAKER_00]: making a full video every week and then also posting short from content and the type of content that I do that is just like me living my life but I don't know it's going to be a lot to like figure out so until then I want to make it a point to really like grow and get comfortable with making short videos because they are a lot easier to make so yeah for like whatever platform that are just short long short vertical videos so that by the time like
- 35:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just a two of us and it'll be three of us, the short form content is like kind of going like at a good pace.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_00]: And then let's end with fun social life things.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: I have two things written down here.
- 35:36[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_00]: One is host a lot of dinner parties, game nights, and all those things.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: Because I can't wait for that.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you can do that in the fall, but fall winter.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like it's the time for that.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I also think once you will have a baby, and all the baby stuff is out, and all this shit is everywhere.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like you just won't want to have as many people over.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's also your space, you know?
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_00]: And like the baby sleeping maybe toys.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just, I don't know.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like once you have a baby, you just won't host that much.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_00]: And because it just feels like a lot more complicated.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I think up until that point, I really want to just like randomly have people come over and just play games or have dinner, have like people bring food, hang out, like
- 36:31[SPEAKER_00]: watch a movie.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, just have people like make it more of a casual thing.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_00]: They people come over.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't always have to be like a thing.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it doesn't.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: It could just be, but I feel like watching the movie kind of take so way to point over.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's true.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_00]: I just kind of randomly said that.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I watch no, we know about it's talking.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, I mean, I get it, but like when you have people over it's to like catch up, talk, play games.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's true.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I would like to do that.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: And the last thing that I have written down is go dancing.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_00]: Go dancing and like go out.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_00]: go out.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, me and you together?
- 37:10[SPEAKER_00]: Me and you, not necessarily just the two of us, it could also be like with friends.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I just- You mentioned salsa before.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, not necessarily salsa, because I actually don't even know how to dance salsa, but I just want to go out dancing, like, I want to go out dancing, like, dancing.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like go to like a bar or something where they have a dance where I'm not trying to go to the club.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to go to like a dance bar, which they do exist from what my friend told me.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: Dance bar, that's what they're called.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's not what they're called, but I'm trying to say like a bar where people dance.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_00]: Because there's bars where people just sit and talk and there's bars where people like sit and talk but mostly dance.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and I want to just go or sometimes they have like one off events where somebody's DJing and like I also want to know like DJs in New York because there's so many and I want to find like my DJs that I like and my specific music I would have to go to like an old
- 38:16[SPEAKER_00]: type of disco, funk, dance, party situation would love that.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not really that kind of goal against, like, to Drake music.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's not what I mean by dancing.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: Gold, that's a Drake music.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like, I don't want to do that.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if anybody does that.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_00]: Of course they do.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_00]: What you mean?
- 38:34[SPEAKER_00]: People who go to the club, what you think they listen to?
- 38:37[SPEAKER_00]: they'd be playing that a, that, that, candrick song, like I don't want that, that's so cringe to me.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like I wanna go somewhere where it's like the vibe is like cool and fun and maybe there's like also some like how some jazz house, yeah, yeah, everybody's there and I have a fun, not to look cool.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: And not to be like, ooh, like hot girl.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: like what's your number?
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I wanna do that.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_00]: I just like go out, go to like a bar, hang out with friends, get some drinks.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, we definitely do that.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: We have to do that, like this is when we do it.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to get my boogie on, you know, before my friend message me the other day and she was like, hey, I'm going out dancing tonight, like, do you wanna come?
- 39:27[SPEAKER_00]: But it was the night that you were coming back to town, like from when I had just been living on my own.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I was really tempted because I was really like just feeling good being back in New York and stuff.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_00]: But it was the night that you were coming back.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_00]: So obviously I was gonna like go dancing when you're coming back and haven't seen you in a month.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: When she invited me, I was like, damn, like, I would go get my booky on, just like, vibe out, just listen to music, have a good time, and then leave.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: It also doesn't have to be a whole thing, like, can be, like, for now and a half, two hours.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_01]: When you go out dancing like that, and then, like, obviously there's other single, this single people there, and then there's someone who wants to dance with you.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like another guy, and but you're in a relationship you just left to dance with your friend for fun What are you doing that situation?
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not dancing with that person dancing with my friend I was gonna say that you better but I'm also trying to go with you Yeah, how does it take to get you to your nail appointment?
- 40:29[SPEAKER_00]: Like fun, it's okay.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so we should end the episode.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, I want to go dance with you for sure I don't care what kind of dance it is
- 40:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I do care the music though, like the music is be good.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not very much into like electronic EDM.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, that's the different type of dance.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like with that one, you kind of just jump up at now.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I also find that like, that's not dancing to me if you're just jumping all day.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's more cardio than I think.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like you're just jumping at this point.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_00]: You should say, I just want to go jumping.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: No, you should just go say you want to go work out.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: okay guys thanks for listening this was great this is yeah so this is what our previous bucket list consists of obviously there's many other things that maybe we didn't think about putting on the list that we want uh there's also things that are just like
- 41:18[SPEAKER_00]: life, life goals that I think will transfer past when we have a kid or two.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: And and there's also stuff that we need to do like when we're actually be pregnant and time will be of the essence before like the baby will be here.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_00]: Of random things, you know,
- 41:45[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's gonna be so funny.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: You gotta get things ready before the baby says.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_00]: So we're so fine because I'm really gonna feel like a child that's about to have a kid and it's like, why am I having a kid?
- 41:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what do I know about life?
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: Really, you're feeling like that.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: You're a grown woman and you're not a child.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_00]: Of course not, but I'm saying like, I still feel like I'm figuring shit out.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, everyone is, there's people who have kids where you're going to do.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know, which is the crazy part, but I'm just thinking how it's like, I'm not, I don't like, I feel like I'm going to do it, but at the same time, I don't feel like I don't feel like
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what is the supposed to feel?
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I feel like, I feel like this is the thing that people talk about, like, when you're not dull, you're just older, you're just doing, you just keep doing this.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_00]: But you're still kind of like, not really sure what the fuck is going on.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, nobody knows.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like, there's someone 40 years old feeling the same way we do, and we're younger.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just stringing this shit out.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's why I'm like, how can you get out like a kid, though?
- 42:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it almost feels like you have to be in this, such a specific place to have a kid.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_01]: My sister tells me you have a kid and you just become you you figure out what you need to do when and you're able to do it I know, but it's like I do that already.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, you know, we have a job.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_00]: You have things to do.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_00]: You have responsibilities rent to pay.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: All the things that you get those done exactly.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_00]: But taking care of a whole other human is kind of like especially like the first time and the first one because I really didn't spend time around kids much
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so that's another thing too, but it's gonna be I know it's gonna be really fun Like when we're in that era is gonna be that's just what's gonna be happening.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm excited.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's gonna be fun You're very cute So yeah That's about it.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: I need to lead me for my appointment.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_00]: So you gotta do you gotta do the outro But I love you guys very much and thank you for Listening and let us know in the comments your thoughts
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks, Ali.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_01]: But so guys, I'm gonna do the outro again by myself.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: Alia is, I think she's running late.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_01]: She's now running around the house, trying to figure out, well luckily it's walking distance from here, right?
- 43:56[SPEAKER_01]: So anyways, I'm doing the outro by myself.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: If let me know what you guys thought about the whole gallery thing.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's trying to make a point, and yeah, you know, you don't.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't, when you put in something together, it's very easy to just overthink.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I was trying to say.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes you just have to put something together that may not be perfect, but it's still your work, you know, each photo still has value.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 44:28[SPEAKER_01]: Anyways, that's what I want to say, and also, whenever that's going to be happening, everyone is invited.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: So if you listen to this, just know that I'm going to put out a flyer, wherever it's going to happen, and we're going to hire, probably like, a small team, me, Alia, a few people, maybe to help us with, I don't know, drinks, maybe a DJ, maybe like, take it, I don't know, but, the whole WTJ community is invited, wherever that's going to be.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm thinking either New York,
- 44:58[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe 1, 2, I don't know, but we'll see, thanks for listening and I gotta go.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: I can kind of keep talking, but we have to, we have to, uh, we have to get some stuff done.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay, bye!
