- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. When it comes to the lawsuit between Virginia
- 0:08Speaker 1: and Glenn Maxwell, we still haven't seen all of the
- 0:12Speaker 1: files and that's because a lot of them were locked
- 0:16Speaker 1: away by the judge who was overseeing it at the time,
- 0:20Speaker 1: and it was a sweeping seal, meaning that he didn't
- 0:24Speaker 1: really go through all the different files and sealed them
- 0:27Speaker 1: on a one by one basis. Basically, it was a
- 0:30Speaker 1: blanket seal and anything that could embarrass people or that
- 0:35Speaker 1: would give private information up ended up being sealed. But
- 0:40Speaker 1: that's not the way it should have went. And now
- 0:42Speaker 1: with the latest ruling by Judge Presca, we're going to
- 0:45Speaker 1: get to see some of these documents. Now, the question
- 0:48Speaker 1: is when is that going to occur. When are they
- 0:52Speaker 1: going to be unsealed and available for us to dive into,
- 0:58Speaker 1: And of course there's a whole process that has to
- 1:00Speaker 1: be followed now with these documents being unsealed. So today
- 1:06Speaker 1: we have an article from Media and the headline damning
- 1:11Speaker 1: evidence from Virginia Roberts twenty fifteen lawsuit against Glaann Maxwell
- 1:16Speaker 1: to be released. This article was authored by Kathy Anne Bonniello.
- 1:23Speaker 1: More damning documents about Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell could
- 1:27Speaker 1: be on the way after a Manhattan federal court judge
- 1:30Speaker 1: agreed to unseal the voluminous case files from more than
- 1:34Speaker 1: a decade old lawsuit against the convicted madam. And there's
- 1:38Speaker 1: a ton of depositions that have still been sealed. And boy,
- 1:42Speaker 1: I can't wait to get a look at him. I
- 1:45Speaker 1: can't wait to see what people had to say, and
- 1:47Speaker 1: I can't wait to see how many people pled the fifth.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And here's another thing. There's going to be damning information
- 1:54Speaker 1: about a lot of people, not just about Maxwell, not
- 1:57Speaker 1: just about Epstein, but about a lot of people. And
- 2:01Speaker 1: that was why Judge Sweet ended up sealing all of this.
- 2:05Speaker 1: He didn't want to embarrass people, which is absolutely ridiculous
- 2:09Speaker 1: because these people, well they embarrassed themselves. Miami Herald investigative
- 2:14Speaker 1: reporter Julie K. Brown, whose reporting led to the downfall
- 2:18Speaker 1: of the disgraced financier Pedophile, reported the decision from Judge
- 2:22Speaker 1: Loretta Presca on her sub stack on Tuesday. Well, this
- 2:26Speaker 1: decision was made days ago, and Judge Presca has been
- 2:32Speaker 1: one of the few judges that has actually cared about
- 2:34Speaker 1: transparency throughout this process, and she's one of the judges
- 2:38Speaker 1: that doesn't seem to fear these people, and she certainly
- 2:41Speaker 1: doesn't care about their image, right. I mean, she was
- 2:44Speaker 1: the one that released all this information in the first place,
- 2:47Speaker 1: before the Epstein files were a thing. Judge Presca had
- 2:52Speaker 1: these documents coming out on a rolling basis, and considering
- 2:55Speaker 1: the way these other judges have acted, I think we
- 2:57Speaker 1: have to give Judge Presca a lot of credit when
- 3:00Speaker 1: it comes to transparency. Virginia Roberts sued Maxwell for defamation
- 3:06Speaker 1: in twenty fifteen after Maxwell accused Roberts of making up
- 3:10Speaker 1: sex trafficking allegations against Epstein and others, including former Prince
- 3:15Speaker 1: Andrew mount Batton Windsor, who is now under police probe
- 3:19Speaker 1: for his ties to the pedophile Well, yeah, for passing information,
- 3:24Speaker 1: not for the stuff. He should be under investigation for
- 3:26Speaker 1: the stuff that Virginia told everybody about years ago. That's
- 3:30Speaker 1: what he should have been under investigation for. But of
- 3:33Speaker 1: course not right, God forbid, the queen's son actually gets
- 3:36Speaker 1: some kind of ramifications. Brown and The Miami Herald have
- 3:40Speaker 1: fought in court for nearly a decade to unseal the
- 3:43Speaker 1: hefty case files from Robert's lawsuit, Brown wrote, adding the
- 3:48Speaker 1: lawsuit was settled in early twenty seventeen. I had been
- 3:52Speaker 1: told discovery contained damning evidence against Epstein, Maxwell and other men,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and that it was worth trying to get the courts
- 3:58Speaker 1: to unseal the document on the grounds that they were
- 4:01Speaker 1: never properly sealed in the first place. And this is
- 4:04Speaker 1: a discussion that I've had with Virginia. We talked about
- 4:09Speaker 1: these files and how they were still sealed, and how
- 4:11Speaker 1: it was ridiculous, especially considering she won the lawsuit. Those
- 4:17Speaker 1: files should have been public record, but of course they
- 4:21Speaker 1: were hidden. And why were they hidden, Well, because the
- 4:24Speaker 1: people whose names were contained inside of those files didn't
- 4:28Speaker 1: want you to know. And that's the same reason you
- 4:31Speaker 1: see this cover up that's happening right now. In real time,
- 4:36Speaker 1: judicial records, by law, are supposed to be open to
- 4:38Speaker 1: the public. In this case, the former judge Robert Sweet,
- 4:42Speaker 1: now deceased, issued a blanket sealing on all the documents
- 4:45Speaker 1: because they contained sensitive and private information. Sweet placed to
- 4:50Speaker 1: protective order on massive amounts of material, including hearings and
- 4:54Speaker 1: judicial decisions made in the case. The voluminous evidence that
- 4:58Speaker 1: Virginia presented to show that Epstein and Maxwell were operating
- 5:02Speaker 1: an underage sex trafficking operation. You know, the one that
- 5:05Speaker 1: was proven correct. You know Maxwell charged with perjury? Could
- 5:09Speaker 1: she lied during this ordeal? But sure tell me some
- 5:12Speaker 1: more about how it's all overblown. The only thing that's
- 5:16Speaker 1: overblown is a narrative that says that all of this
- 5:19Speaker 1: has already been investigated. That's the biggest hoax in the
- 5:23Speaker 1: whole entire case. This is not the way sealing is
- 5:26Speaker 1: supposed to happen. However, each document that the lawyers want
- 5:30Speaker 1: sealed has to be examined, and those requesting it be
- 5:33Speaker 1: sealed must provide legal justification to the judge for doing so.
- 5:38Speaker 1: This wasn't done in this case, of course, it wasn't.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Nothing that should have been done was ever done. It
- 5:44Speaker 1: was always just done in a manner that would benefit
- 5:47Speaker 1: Epstein time and time again, and at some point you
- 5:53Speaker 1: have to ask yourself, is this all just by accident?
- 5:56Speaker 1: Is it all coincidence? Or could it be that it's
- 5:58Speaker 1: something much more a fit. Last week, PRESCO rejected Maxwell's
- 6:03Speaker 1: bid to keep the files under wrap, noting that epstein
- 6:06Speaker 1: files transparency acts superseded in earlier grand jury argument that
- 6:11Speaker 1: Maxwell was using to keep the records from the public,
- 6:14Speaker 1: Brown wrote, and there's no doubt the EFTA really launched
- 6:17Speaker 1: some different things into orbit, and it gave us a
- 6:20Speaker 1: little bit more of an ability to make an argument
- 6:22Speaker 1: with the courts that things should be unsealed. So I
- 6:24Speaker 1: think it's very important that the EFTA went through. But
- 6:28Speaker 1: with that said, like I've told you a million times,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I'm not a big fan of the fact that it
- 6:32Speaker 1: didn't have teeth. You have to have teeth. You can't
- 6:36Speaker 1: have some kind of congressional bill that doesn't have punishment
- 6:39Speaker 1: on the back end. I mean, it sounds good and
- 6:42Speaker 1: it looks good in concept, but what are you gonna
- 6:45Speaker 1: do when people don't listen? What are you gonna do
- 6:48Speaker 1: when people decide to make a move like we've seen
- 6:51Speaker 1: with the DOJ You're gonna be stuck. And unfortunately that's
- 6:55Speaker 1: where we find ourselves. We have the EFTA, but there's
- 6:59Speaker 1: no teeth. And how many people have already got up
- 7:02Speaker 1: there and given us testimony where they lied, bullshitted and
- 7:05Speaker 1: told a bunch of nonsense to the Congressional Committee. Well
- 7:09Speaker 1: just about all of them, right, And what's happened. I
- 7:12Speaker 1: ain't been hit with perjury, has anyone been referred, has
- 7:15Speaker 1: anyone been arrested? Has there been the doors blown off
- 7:19Speaker 1: of the investigation? Of course not. And while it's great
- 7:23Speaker 1: that role Conna and Thomas Massey worked together to get
- 7:26Speaker 1: this passed, what have they done since? And that's really
- 7:30Speaker 1: what it comes down to. It's one thing to get
- 7:34Speaker 1: something passed right, It's another thing to keep up the
- 7:38Speaker 1: full core press and in my opinion, we just haven't
- 7:40Speaker 1: seen that. So when it comes to Judge Presca and
- 7:44Speaker 1: the rulings, I'm all for it because Judge Presca, she's
- 7:49Speaker 1: not messing around. Maxwell's sixty four, was convicted in December
- 7:54Speaker 1: of twenty twenty one of sex trafficking and other crimes
- 7:58Speaker 1: and later sentenced to twenty years in Roberts, who was
- 8:01Speaker 1: found dead in April of twenty twenty five at her
- 8:04Speaker 1: home in Western Australia, struggled in the final years of
- 8:07Speaker 1: her life after being seriously hurt in a car crash
- 8:10Speaker 1: and separating from her husband. According to reports, she was
- 8:14Speaker 1: forty one years old. The fact that these files aren't
- 8:17Speaker 1: unsealed is just unbelievable, and the hoops that people have
- 8:23Speaker 1: to jump through to get the information that should already
- 8:25Speaker 1: be out there is one of the biggest tells. You know,
- 8:29Speaker 1: people want to talk about cover up here and cover
- 8:31Speaker 1: up there, and you know conspiracy. Well here it is.
- 8:35Speaker 1: This is it. It's happening in real time, right in
- 8:38Speaker 1: front of our faces, and there's still people that refuse
- 8:41Speaker 1: to accept it. And I just don't get it, Like,
- 8:44Speaker 1: what could the motivation be for trying to downplay this?
- 8:48Speaker 1: I mean outside of political motivation, right, I get why
- 8:51Speaker 1: Donald Trump will want to downplay it. It's damaging to him,
- 8:55Speaker 1: but regular people, I mean, how could anyone look at
- 8:59Speaker 1: what Epstein was up to, what he was doing, and
- 9:01Speaker 1: all of the information we have about those crimes and
- 9:05Speaker 1: say to themselves, ah, you know what, everything's on the
- 9:08Speaker 1: up and up, man, everything's good here. There's nothing that
- 9:11Speaker 1: needs any more investigation, nothing that seems amiss, and certainly
- 9:16Speaker 1: nothing that rises to the level of criminality, because there's
- 9:19Speaker 1: no way you can arrive at that point if you
- 9:22Speaker 1: honestly look at all of the evidence that's been provided.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Of course that doesn't mean you have to believe every element,
- 9:30Speaker 1: but there's so much here that it's impossible for me
- 9:34Speaker 1: to understand how someone can look at what Epstein was
- 9:37Speaker 1: up to, look at the people he was associating with,
- 9:39Speaker 1: look at their business dealings, and I'll come to the
- 9:42Speaker 1: conclusion that there is a lot of financial malfeasance at
- 9:46Speaker 1: the very least. And you might not think that's a
- 9:49Speaker 1: big deal compared to the human trafficking, but in my opinion,
- 9:52Speaker 1: it is not because it's more vile or more disgusting
- 9:56Speaker 1: or more harmful to the people, but because that's an
- 10:00Speaker 1: inroad and before you get into the room, you have
- 10:03Speaker 1: to open the door, and I think that the financial
- 10:06Speaker 1: aspect of this is the right way to do that. Unfortunately,
- 10:11Speaker 1: we're not going to see it, at least not without
- 10:13Speaker 1: a fight. And that's also why they want to keep
- 10:16Speaker 1: all these other documents sealed. Look, these people might be sick,
- 10:20Speaker 1: but they're not stupid, and they understand that they can't
- 10:23Speaker 1: have all this stuff coming out if they want to
- 10:25Speaker 1: control the blast radius. And that's why they're going to
- 10:28Speaker 1: fight with every ounce of their being to make sure
- 10:30Speaker 1: that this stuff never sees the light of day. And
- 10:33Speaker 1: that's also why they want you to move on. The
- 10:35Speaker 1: question is will you give them what they want all
- 10:40Speaker 1: the Information that goes with this episode can be found
- 10:43Speaker 1: in the description box.
