Yeah, I don't know. Back to the Goose Forest hunt, I mean, like,

I felt that was the most amount of geese that I've shot in that area where we

were at and not shot four or five.

I mean, even like earlier in the year, we shot a, like, it was a five-man,

and we, I think we shot six, and we weren't band hunting or anything.

And it was just random birds.

it was late season. I mean, it was what, the last day or weekend of season? Yeah.

It was, yeah, last day of pheasant season, so it would have been January 10th.

Yeah. I mean, by that time, there's a lot of guys in the Des Moines area that just target bands.

So they've been picked through pretty hard by that time.

Well, we could tell those geese that we were hunting that day were pretty stale.

We did have a sick flock of migrators, though. The luckiest thing that we had

that day was that little bit of weather that pushed through that kind of just

covered us up enough that we could trick a majority of the birds that we shot that day. Yeah.

Yeah, other than the fact that the snow made it nice and extra muddy and covered

So how was your season this year, Dan? Did you have a decent season or was it slower?

I didn't get to hunt as much as I would have liked. It was more condensed into

trips than it usually is. But I had a good trip to Nebraska, me and two buddies.

I dealt with some tough weather conditions when we were out there.

And then toward the end of our trip, it got a little better.

And that was kind of that post-Thanksgiving cold front that we had.

the ceo there at their and he had watched three ducks lead the lake and it was

And we went way away from where everybody was hunting.

So we went way away and we ended up finding some birds. It was a lot of gray
