- 1:14Speaker 1: great thing, best event of the year for all of us. Really,
- 1:19Speaker 1: Mallory is brought to us by Southwest Card World. Unfortunately, Mallory,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you have the top story that came out this this morning,
- 1:31Speaker 1: the Gods Free Family.
- 1:32Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, okay, yeah yeah.
- 1:34Speaker 6: So she Savannah gun three is speaking out about the agony,
- 1:39Speaker 6: which I can only I don't ever want to know
- 1:41Speaker 6: what that's like. I can only imagine of her eighty
- 1:44Speaker 6: four year old mother's disapp disappearance and announcing a new
- 1:47Speaker 6: one million dollar reward as the search stretches into the
- 1:52Speaker 6: fourth week, which is wild that it's already were already on.
- 1:56Speaker 4: The fourth twenty four days.
- 1:58Speaker 5: We're fine.
- 2:00Speaker 6: Today's show hosts posted an emotional video on Instagram again
- 2:05Speaker 6: as investigators in Arizona continue to search for her mother, Nancy,
- 2:09Speaker 6: who was reported missing on February first. Authorities have said
- 2:12Speaker 6: they now believe Nancy was taken from her home outside
- 2:17Speaker 6: of Arizona against her will, which we kind of already
- 2:19Speaker 6: knew that, I think from the beginning. But it is
- 2:23Speaker 6: day twenty four since our mom has been taken in
- 2:25Speaker 6: the dark of the night from her bed, and every
- 2:27Speaker 6: hour and minute, and second and every long night has
- 2:31Speaker 6: been agony since then, or of worrying about her and
- 2:34Speaker 6: fearing for her and aching for her, and most of
- 2:37Speaker 6: all just missing her, she did say in the video,
- 2:41Speaker 6: which is her first public statement about the case in
- 2:43Speaker 6: more than a week. So I think she's the one
- 2:45Speaker 6: who's really been I think this is like what her third.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah, at least.
- 2:49Speaker 6: Yeah, that's just really sad, though the whole thing is
- 2:53Speaker 6: really sad.
- 2:55Speaker 4: Well.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and they admitted they are prepared for the fact
- 3:01Speaker 1: that she's no longer alive.
- 3:02Speaker 4: So that's and I.
- 3:04Speaker 6: Think at that point, you're just like, you just want
- 3:07Speaker 6: to be able to have a proper funeral or something.
- 3:10Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:10Speaker 6: They doesn't want the you know, their mom back, whether
- 3:13Speaker 6: ye whatever condition it is now, just they just want
- 3:16Speaker 6: they just want her back.
- 3:18Speaker 1: H Robert Carradine has died. He was Lewis in Revenge
- 3:23Speaker 1: of the Nerd played Hillary Duff's father in Lizzie McGuire.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Uh.
- 3:29Speaker 1: He has died by suicide. Carrodine's brother Keith confirmed it
- 3:35Speaker 1: earlier today.
- 3:37Speaker 8: Uh.
- 3:37Speaker 1: It's profound sadness we must share. A beloved father, grandfather,
- 3:41Speaker 1: uncle and brother has passed away and a world that
- 3:45Speaker 1: can feel so dark. Bobby was always a beacon of
- 3:47Speaker 1: light to everyone around him.
- 3:49Speaker 4: We are bereft at the loss.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Want to acknowledge Bobby's valiant struggle against his nearly two
- 3:55Speaker 1: decade battle with bipolar disorder. We hope his journey can
- 3:59Speaker 1: shine a light and encourage addressing the stigma that attaches
- 4:03Speaker 1: to mental illness. Hillary Duff, who it's been a while
- 4:09Speaker 1: since we've heard said this one hurts really hard to
- 4:12Speaker 1: face this reality about an old friend. There was so
- 4:16Speaker 1: much warmth in the Maguire family. I always felt so
- 4:19Speaker 1: cared for by my onscreen parents. I'll be forever grateful
- 4:22Speaker 1: for that. I'm deeply sad to learn Bobby was suffering.
- 4:26Speaker 1: My heartaches for him, his family and everyone who loved him.
- 4:31Speaker 1: But let's wash our ears out with this, can.
- 4:34Speaker 6: We Let's try and pick it up.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Well, let's pick it up.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Comedian Jim Brewer is calling out American Airlines for bumping
- 4:44Speaker 1: him and his wife from first class seats. In a
- 4:48Speaker 1: video shared to YouTube. He explains that he and his
- 4:51Speaker 1: wife were coming back from Honolulu, where they visited their daughter,
- 4:55Speaker 1: who has an externship there for the school. The Saturday
- 4:59Speaker 1: Night Live Alone and by the way, I can't tell
- 5:02Speaker 1: you who this is.
- 5:03Speaker 4: I wouldn't know him.
- 5:05Speaker 1: And I think what made him mad is because no
- 5:08Speaker 1: one else knew him either. He said that because it
- 5:11Speaker 1: was a long journey and since he was about to
- 5:15Speaker 1: go on tour.
- 5:17Speaker 4: In the little tiny violins.
- 5:19Speaker 1: His name is Jim Brewer. You can pull up his
- 5:21Speaker 1: pictures see if you recognize him. They decided to splurge
- 5:25Speaker 1: on round trip first class tickets. While the flight there
- 5:29Speaker 1: was smoothly, he said in the video, I noticed this
- 5:34Speaker 1: pilot and the guy behind the counter. They were doing
- 5:37Speaker 1: this a lot, meaning whispering. I was like, oh, he's
- 5:40Speaker 1: trying to get him a seat. Shortly after, brew and
- 5:43Speaker 1: his wife then heard their names called out him the
- 5:45Speaker 1: speaker by an American Airlines employee working at the counter,
- 5:50Speaker 1: who he later learned was a supervisor named Mark. Brewer
- 5:54Speaker 1: recalled how he first cracked a joke and asked the
- 5:57Speaker 1: airline if they were in trouble, to which the man
- 5:59Speaker 1: brought the news he had given away their first class tickets.
- 6:05Speaker 6: So you know who it is now.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Oh you do, okay, okay.
- 6:12Speaker 6: He was always like the goofy guy in the background
- 6:14Speaker 6: of movies, for instance, here are some of his hits. Okay,
- 6:17Speaker 6: half half Baked, which I don't know it was in
- 6:20Speaker 6: the nineties.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know it. Jingle Smells, I don't know it.
- 6:26Speaker 6: No what, It's a bunch of stuff like that. And
- 6:29Speaker 6: he wasn't zookeeper in twenty eleven.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Okay, Well, like I said, again.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Not a leading man, not a leading Yeah.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I think he's upset. You know, he didn't he I'm
- 6:42Speaker 1: sure he forgot to mention. He pulled out. Don't you
- 6:47Speaker 1: know who I am? You know when he tried to
- 6:49Speaker 1: get his tickets.
- 6:50Speaker 6: In the movie Jingle Smell.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Yeah, don't you know? I'm a star?
- 6:57Speaker 6: Half Baked was actually popular. But I don't know how.
- 6:59Speaker 4: Look, I.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Would not I would not want to be bumped from
- 7:04Speaker 1: my first class seat if I had gone to the
- 7:07Speaker 1: time and effort. In Trouble Now America, I don't think
- 7:11Speaker 1: has responded yet.
- 7:12Speaker 4: I'm not sure.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I'm certain that they will be reimbursed for the difference
- 7:18Speaker 1: in price. They'll probably be given, you know, a free
- 7:23Speaker 1: flight or something, is my guess.
- 7:26Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know that.
- 7:27Speaker 6: I'm just saying if they were really petty, they would
- 7:30Speaker 6: give them coach.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Seat exactly exactly, here's one coach seat in the middle, or.
- 7:40Speaker 6: Here's one first class seat and then one coach you'll
- 7:43Speaker 6: get to fight over who gets.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Yeah, Jim, if you're a big star. Oh sorry, go ahead.
- 7:51Speaker 6: I was just gonna say. Another person who thinks they're
- 7:53Speaker 6: the center of the universe. Tyra Banks is in a nasty.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Court battle with No Way.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Wow Up over her ice cream company. I didn't know
- 8:03Speaker 6: she had one, claiming the landlord is attempting a celebrity
- 8:07Speaker 6: shakedown and court docs. Tyra, who's battling with Washington, DC
- 8:12Speaker 6: landlord over a scrapped plan to open an ice cream shop,
- 8:16Speaker 6: is now seeking more than fifty thousand in sanctions from
- 8:19Speaker 6: the landlord who tried to drag her to court.
- 8:21Speaker 5: It all started, apparently allegedly.
- 8:24Speaker 6: Back in October twenty twenty five, when the building owner
- 8:27Speaker 6: named Christopher Powell buy and through his company, sued Tyra
- 8:31Speaker 6: and her business partner and boyfriend Louis the Langer Martin.
- 8:37Speaker 6: I didn't pronounce the last name preperally, it doesn't matter.
- 8:39Speaker 6: According to the lawsuit, Powell was in talks with Tyra
- 8:43Speaker 6: and Lewis to open a location of her ice cream company,
- 8:46Speaker 6: Smise and dream.
- 8:49Speaker 4: That's weird.
- 8:50Speaker 6: Okay, I understand where the smize comes from. If you
- 8:54Speaker 6: ever watched American Top Model, that's where you smile with
- 8:57Speaker 6: your eyes.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Okay.
- 8:58Speaker 6: Anyways, Tyro told that the DC location would be a
- 9:02Speaker 6: flagship store and would also help underserve young people in Washington,
- 9:08Speaker 6: The landlord said. Tyron, her business partner, signed a ten
- 9:10Speaker 6: year lease for the location in April twenty twenty four.
- 9:13Speaker 6: He claims he spent thousands to fix us up the space.
- 9:17Speaker 6: The suit alleges Tyro went behind his back and opened
- 9:20Speaker 6: a location in Sydney, Australia.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Which that's a long way from Washington, DC in so.
- 9:26Speaker 5: I guess the flagship parts on board. I don't know.
- 9:29Speaker 6: Christopher said he was upset he turned down other tendants
- 9:32Speaker 6: to sign the lease with her, which caused him to
- 9:35Speaker 6: lose money. For the court docs, Tyron, her boyfriend abandoned
- 9:38Speaker 6: the DC location in June twenty twenty four and refused
- 9:42Speaker 6: to pay rent. The lawsuit says Tyrol weaponized her celebrity
- 9:46Speaker 6: influence to deter him from doing her But I guess
- 9:52Speaker 6: he is demanding Christopher an excess of two point eight
- 9:57Speaker 6: million damages.
- 9:59Speaker 1: You know I'm not a judge and I don't play
- 10:03Speaker 1: one on TV, but Tara has a history.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Let's just let's leave it at that.
- 10:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, I'm I am currently in the moment
- 10:12Speaker 6: of watching the documentary over America.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Okay, okay, heez yeah, boot we call it, we call
- 10:22Speaker 1: it a diva in our business.
- 10:24Speaker 9: So.
- 10:26Speaker 5: I can think of other words that I can't stay
- 10:28Speaker 5: on here.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Yeah, So this was pretty cool. You know.
- 10:32Speaker 1: They had the big snowstorm in the Northeast, and so
- 10:36Speaker 1: the US men's hockey team couldn't fly back into New
- 10:40Speaker 1: York and New Jersey because of the weather right when
- 10:43Speaker 1: when they left Italy, so they flew to Miami instead.
- 10:51Speaker 4: I mean, that was the deal, you know what I'm saying.
- 10:56Speaker 1: They stayed at the famous One Hotel in South Beach.
- 11:02Speaker 1: They did lots of celebrating with lots of fans. They
- 11:11Speaker 1: indulged with drinks and cigars. Well, everybody toasted the gold medal.
- 11:17Speaker 1: They even brought an American flag with them. They were
- 11:20Speaker 1: wearing their medals and were invited to President Trump's State
- 11:27Speaker 1: of the Union address tonight in DC. They probably can't go, frankly,
- 11:33Speaker 1: because the regular hockey season resumes tomorrow.
- 11:39Speaker 4: In a couple of cases.
- 11:41Speaker 1: So and poor Jack arm poor Jack Hughes has got
- 11:45Speaker 1: to have some dental work done too.
- 11:46Speaker 6: So, oh, yes, that was hey classic hockey.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yes, well, you're right, it was classic hockey, absolutely correctly,
- 11:56Speaker 1: was absolutely correct.
- 11:58Speaker 4: It was classic hockey.
- 12:00Speaker 6: Nothing screams hockey like a knocked out.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Yeah to two front teeth.
- 12:04Speaker 1: But I guarantee he's willing to make that trade.
- 12:08Speaker 4: I promise it was worth it to make that trade.
- 12:12Speaker 1: So good on them for being able to go to
- 12:16Speaker 1: Miami instead of the snowy, blizzardy Northeast.
- 12:20Speaker 6: Honestly, it was probably more fun to celebrate.
- 12:23Speaker 7: Oh you know it was.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I mean, and they'll never have to buy another drink
- 12:29Speaker 1: in their lives. They're like, oh no, yeah, yeah, they're
- 12:36Speaker 1: not going to be buying drinks for a while, let's
- 12:38Speaker 1: put it that way.
- 12:40Speaker 5: No.
- 12:40Speaker 6: Well, and that guy probably won't have to pay for
- 12:42Speaker 6: his dental work either.
- 12:43Speaker 4: No, And I yes, that's a good point. He could do.
- 12:47Speaker 1: He could do one commercial with Joe the Dentist. Uh,
- 12:51Speaker 1: and you know he'd be he'd be good to go.
- 12:54Speaker 1: And I suspect you're going to see him in a
- 12:58Speaker 1: couple of TV commercials over the next few months.
- 13:01Speaker 6: Oh he's going to be getting whitening teeth. You know,
- 13:04Speaker 6: promoted anything.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Good for him? Hey, he earned it.
- 13:10Speaker 6: Hey, let's talk about Fiddy. We talked about Fiddy sometimes.
- 13:14Speaker 4: What's Fitty after?
- 13:15Speaker 7: You know?
- 13:18Speaker 6: Yeah, a time or two.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Uh.
- 13:20Speaker 6: Well, apparently Kim Kardashian just linked up with fifty, and
- 13:23Speaker 6: no it's not for a random photo op. The two
- 13:26Speaker 6: were spotted rolling onto set to shoot their new Netflix
- 13:30Speaker 6: Netflix film The Fifth Wheel. I don't know if you
- 13:34Speaker 6: know this, but apparently Kim Kardashian Kardashian is into acting
- 13:40Speaker 6: now this Kim's bass steps in head to Toe Black,
- 13:44Speaker 6: serving some serious leading lady energy as she hopped out
- 13:48Speaker 6: of her ride to get back to work on Even
- 13:50Speaker 6: Longoria's latest project, while Fifty was all business in a
- 13:54Speaker 6: chunky chain and a cat. Kim plays a hot outsider
- 13:58Speaker 6: who crashes the trip, forces a friend group to confront
- 14:01Speaker 6: their chaotic lives, questionable decisions, and a friendship hanging on
- 14:04Speaker 6: by a threat.
- 14:05Speaker 4: In other words, it's just kind of like real life.
- 14:09Speaker 5: Yeah, so she plays probably just the hot good for you.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure it's a I'm sure it's a stretch
- 14:18Speaker 1: for her acting ability.
- 14:19Speaker 4: So we'll well.
- 14:21Speaker 5: To be fair, They're probably like, what can we put her?
- 14:23Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, you know what to do, Kim stand here
- 14:26Speaker 4: and don't say anything.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Speaking of Fittie, Offset showed up on Monday Night Raw
- 14:35Speaker 1: WWE Action in Atlanta last night and found himself right
- 14:41Speaker 1: in the middle of a match. He ended up backstage
- 14:46Speaker 1: at the arena alongside rising star Javon Evans, who was
- 14:51Speaker 1: challenged to a showdown by former WWE World Heavyweight Champ
- 14:57Speaker 1: Kofi Kingston. Off Set and Evans made their way to ringside,
- 15:03Speaker 1: where he eventually found himself face to face with Kingston's
- 15:07Speaker 1: counterparts Grayson Waller and Xavier Woods. Offset then threw Waller
- 15:15Speaker 1: over the table, distracting Kingston long enough to help Evans
- 15:20Speaker 1: pick up the wind. He wasn't the only a lister
- 15:23Speaker 1: last night. Daytona five hundred champ Tyler Reddick was there
- 15:28Speaker 1: for the show. He arrived in his Michael Jordan Nascar
- 15:33Speaker 1: vehicle doing donuts in the parking lot. So a big
- 15:38Speaker 1: show last night. You know, I didn't see WWE last night.
- 15:46Speaker 6: I was.
- 15:49Speaker 1: At the Paramount in downtown Austin watching the Great Emmy
- 15:53Speaker 1: Lou Harris perform.
- 15:55Speaker 4: So my thanks to all the folks there. It was
- 15:58Speaker 4: just wonderful.
- 16:00Speaker 6: Well that sounds nice.
- 16:02Speaker 4: She was awesome and a lot less chaotic.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Lot less, a lot quieter, and she did a tribute
- 16:12Speaker 1: to Guy Clark and it was it was just phenomenal.
- 16:15Speaker 4: So good time. Yes, yes, exactly.
- 16:22Speaker 5: No, no fireworks going.
- 16:23Speaker 4: On out, none of that, say no, none, none of that.
- 16:29Speaker 6: I don't know how I almost missed this story. But
- 16:31Speaker 6: you know, we can't go a day without If there's
- 16:34Speaker 6: this royal story, good give it to you.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Good.
- 16:37Speaker 7: Uh.
- 16:37Speaker 6: Kate Middleton and Prince William had a date night at
- 16:40Speaker 6: the Bastin. Yeah right, the Prince and Princess of Wales.
- 16:45Speaker 6: We're in attendance at the twenty twenty six EE. That's
- 16:48Speaker 6: the Film Rewards, sorry, the British equivalent of the Oscars
- 16:53Speaker 6: on Sunday. Prince William was there there in his capacity
- 16:58Speaker 6: as President of the British Account to meet a Film
- 17:00Speaker 6: and Television arts.
- 17:01Speaker 4: I didn't know he was the president.
- 17:04Speaker 6: Well I didn't either, but he presented the Fellowship Award,
- 17:06Speaker 6: the Academy's highest honor, to Dame Dame Donna Langley for
- 17:13Speaker 6: outstanding contribution to film. So Royal photographer Andrew Parson snapped
- 17:19Speaker 6: a few behind the scenes photos of the couple backstage
- 17:23Speaker 6: at the event, including one of them sharing a laugh
- 17:25Speaker 6: while writing together in the elevator, and another sweet moment
- 17:29Speaker 6: the photographer William put his hand on Kate's back as
- 17:33Speaker 6: the pair arrived to it at an event.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Oh wow, so nice to see the folks out and about.
- 17:40Speaker 4: You know.
- 17:40Speaker 6: Apparently there are regular supporters. However, the first time they've
- 17:45Speaker 6: attended the awards together since twenty twenty three, they did
- 17:48Speaker 6: it attend last year.
- 17:49Speaker 5: William came solo over twenty twenty four.
- 17:51Speaker 6: Well, we already knew, probably because Kate was.
- 17:53Speaker 5: Having her right health issues.
- 17:55Speaker 9: Right.
- 17:56Speaker 6: But I'm wondering, how do you become the photographer for
- 17:59Speaker 6: the role you?
- 18:00Speaker 4: I was gonna ask that question. Do you do? You
- 18:03Speaker 4: do you like submit a book of photos?
- 18:06Speaker 1: How do you here's my portfolio. I've taken me some
- 18:11Speaker 1: good pictures over the years. I'll side a non disclosure,
- 18:17Speaker 1: you know, of everything that I see.
- 18:20Speaker 4: I don't know. It sounds like a good gig to me.
- 18:25Speaker 5: I know, right.
- 18:25Speaker 6: You just get to follow, you get to.
- 18:27Speaker 4: Go to all these events.
- 18:30Speaker 6: Don't mess up though, you better get Keith's good.
- 18:32Speaker 1: He don't mess up and be you know, it's not
- 18:36Speaker 1: all beer and skittles. So my guess is he has
- 18:39Speaker 1: to go with him on the walkabouts even when the
- 18:42Speaker 1: weather is bad.
- 18:44Speaker 5: The walk about.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Those walkabouts kill you.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Consuming not the walk about.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Yeah, the walkabouts. I bet he's there, step by st
- 19:00Speaker 1: up with them.
- 19:00Speaker 6: Right, He's probably like, yeah, let's do Charles walk about
- 19:03Speaker 6: because it will only last about two minutes and then
- 19:06Speaker 6: we'll go back inside.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Will yam, reach your hand out to that person there
- 19:12Speaker 1: behind the barrier and pretend to shake his hand and
- 19:15Speaker 1: like it, you know that that kind of stuff.
- 19:19Speaker 6: Yes, it seem overly thrilled by that young child's really
- 19:24Speaker 6: crappy picture that she drew for you.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Okay, you're fascinator's falling off. Put it, clip it back
- 19:30Speaker 1: on so I can get a picture. So you know,
- 19:33Speaker 1: those kind of things.
- 19:35Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 19:36Speaker 1: The State of musician Isaac Hayes settled with President Donald
- 19:43Speaker 1: Trump following a legal battle over the alleged unauthorized use
- 19:47Speaker 1: of the song hold On I'm Coming.
- 19:52Speaker 4: The singer's son.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Isaac Hayes the Third said this resolution represents more than
- 19:58Speaker 1: the conclusion of a legal matter. It reinfirms the importance
- 20:02Speaker 1: of protecting intellectual property rights and copyrights, especially as they
- 20:09Speaker 1: relate to legacy ownership and the responsible use of creative works.
- 20:16Speaker 1: The original lawsuit, filed in August of twenty twenty four,
- 20:21Speaker 1: accused Trump of using Hayes's nineteen sixty six classic in
- 20:27Speaker 1: videos and campaign appearances without his permission. Apparently, he used
- 20:34Speaker 1: the song, according to the lawsuit, one hundred and thirty
- 20:38Speaker 1: three times, amounting.
- 20:40Speaker 4: To a copyright violation. Now I don't know what the
- 20:43Speaker 4: law is.
- 20:45Speaker 1: This is written as though if he'd used it one
- 20:48Speaker 1: hundred and thirty two times, he would have been okay.
- 20:50Speaker 4: But I don't think that's I don't think that's right.
- 20:53Speaker 6: Only one more time and he would have been fine.
- 20:56Speaker 1: You know, we have seen this with other musicians at
- 20:59Speaker 1: other times, especially musicians who don't agree politically with the
- 21:06Speaker 1: candidate who's using their music, and either that or.
- 21:11Speaker 6: They're afraid they'll get a bad rep Yeah.
- 21:14Speaker 4: And I don't know all of the legalities of that.
- 21:19Speaker 4: I know I should.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Maybe I'll check up on them sometime if I care
- 21:24Speaker 1: enough so, and then again maybe I won't. Let's do
- 21:28Speaker 1: some birthdays, can we? Sunday, Paul Dooley turned ninety eight. Wow, me,
- 21:40Speaker 1: let me think of this. Yeah, I'm I'm thinking he
- 21:47Speaker 1: was the piano player in Casablanca. I'll double two.
- 21:55Speaker 6: Okay.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Calma Glachlin Twin Peaks sixty seven on Sunday. Rachel Dratch

- 22:16Speaker 4: who that is. I don't know who that is.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Drew Barrymore turned fifty one on Sunday. Wow, that makes
- 22:27Speaker 1: me feel old. If Drew Barrymore's fitty one, you know.
- 22:31Speaker 6: Yeah she started really young.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Yeah, she did very young, very young. Monday birthdays come on,
- 22:42Speaker 1: give me so oh. Kristen Davis Sex and the City

- 23:03Speaker 5: Okay, let's see.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Josh Gadd turned forty five yesterday. And this guy I
- 23:13Speaker 1: find extremely funny from Parks and Rex Azz I'm sorry,
- 23:17Speaker 1: turned forty three yesterday.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Yeah, me too.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I just laughed when I heard his name. And Dakota
- 23:24Speaker 1: Fanning turned thirty two.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Yesterday. Wow, okay, how about today? Birthdays?

- 23:40Speaker 1: heard from him in a minute.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Seventy nine.
- 23:45Speaker 1: George thuragud Oh and the Destroyers turned seventy six today.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Paul is on from Houston, Texas news paper, YEP turned
- 23:59Speaker 1: seventy today. Sammy Kershaw My Gosh sixty eight today. I
- 24:05Speaker 1: got to be honest. I thought he was older than that.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Billy Zaying turned sixty today. Okay, you hadn't found anybody
- 24:20Speaker 1: you know?
- 24:20Speaker 4: Have you?
- 24:22Speaker 6: No? You know? Rapper actor O'sha Jackson Junior is straight
- 24:26Speaker 6: out of Compton is thirty five?
- 24:28Speaker 4: No way, thirty five. I thought he was older than that.
- 24:33Speaker 6: Well, yeah, but he's not.
- 24:35Speaker 5: He's thirty five.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Okay, Well you know he is.
- 24:38Speaker 6: Older than he was yesterday.
- 24:39Speaker 4: That's true.
- 24:40Speaker 1: And if it's your birthday, like we say happy birthday.

- 28:49Speaker 1: a little bit until we get there.
- 28:52Speaker 4: Uh want to listen to Ridling Griffin.
- 28:54Speaker 1: The Aggies have a tough game a place where they
- 28:58Speaker 1: have had a his storeally difficult time winning in Fayetnam,
- 29:04Speaker 1: that is tomorrow night, eight o'clock. Ryland Griffin. Good to
- 29:10Speaker 1: see him back scoring points. He got a couple of
- 29:13Speaker 1: off games. Was good against Oklahoma offensively and defensively.
- 29:19Speaker 4: And yesterday met with members of the media.
- 29:23Speaker 8: Man, Ryland, what'd you just see from the resolve? You
- 29:26Speaker 8: guys had to come out with that gritty win. I
- 29:27Speaker 8: hear you.
- 29:29Speaker 9: It was a tough win.
- 29:30Speaker 13: They had good team, like they play everybody close, and
- 29:33Speaker 13: it was at their gym, so it was gonna be tough.
- 29:36Speaker 13: Buddy Hill was there, so we knew they did. They
- 29:39Speaker 13: probably did that because they wanted to win that night,
- 29:43Speaker 13: so we just had to make sure we locked in
- 29:45Speaker 13: and got the win.
- 29:46Speaker 8: That was probably one of those better defensive performances of
- 29:49Speaker 8: the season. Just what were some of the things you
- 29:51Speaker 8: felt like y'all did really well that y'all can carry
- 29:53Speaker 8: over hopefully into these next few games.
- 29:55Speaker 13: Oh, they got they got a lot of good guards.
- 29:57Speaker 13: I think we just knew that they had a lot
- 29:59Speaker 13: of guards that could beat you. Pack that went for
- 30:02Speaker 13: twenty on us in the first half here, so just
- 30:05Speaker 13: knowing what he was capable of, knowing what Brown was capable.
- 30:08Speaker 9: Of, and the rest of their guards in big But.
- 30:12Speaker 13: I think we just did a good job stand like
- 30:14Speaker 13: connected and defensively and always going to the next play,
- 30:19Speaker 13: Like if you mess up on defense, we were good
- 30:21Speaker 13: at just getting to the next and just flying around
- 30:24Speaker 13: out there.
- 30:24Speaker 9: So that was one thing I was happy about.
- 30:26Speaker 14: You feel like you guys are back on the right
- 30:29Speaker 14: track after the two games two wins together, or do
- 30:33Speaker 14: you think y'all still are working get backed at the
- 30:36Speaker 14: same level of world.
- 30:38Speaker 9: I think that was just the way we were at earlier.
- 30:41Speaker 13: Sometimes you just take I mean you could see it
- 30:43Speaker 13: around college basketball. There's a lot of teams going on
- 30:46Speaker 13: losing streets. I mean, Kansas and Houston are both or
- 30:49Speaker 13: Houston at least is on a losing streak right now,
- 30:52Speaker 13: and they play at Kansas today, so it doesn't get
- 30:54Speaker 13: any easier for them, So you just play tough games.
- 30:56Speaker 13: I think that stretch we had was one of the
- 30:58Speaker 13: tougher stretches in America at the time, so it was tough.
- 31:02Speaker 13: We learned a lot, but just getting back on track
- 31:05Speaker 13: with winning. It feels good. It does feel good to
- 31:07Speaker 13: get back on track winning, but at the end of
- 31:09Speaker 13: the day, we just got to keep on doing we
- 31:11Speaker 13: got to do to win. We can't and get game
- 31:13Speaker 13: moments from going into March for SEC tournament and stuff
- 31:16Speaker 13: like that. So yeah, I think these two wins were
- 31:19Speaker 13: definitely a great start for that.
- 31:20Speaker 14: How y'all contend contain however you want to say it.
- 31:24Speaker 7: A guy like a Cuff.
- 31:25Speaker 13: From Arkansas, Oh, he's really tough to cover. I mean,
- 31:29Speaker 13: he had forty nine at Alabama. He looked like he
- 31:32Speaker 13: was taking that game a little bit personal. So just
- 31:35Speaker 13: making sure that he doesn't get going it's gonna be
- 31:37Speaker 13: really tough. I mean, if he has twenty points or more,
- 31:41Speaker 13: nobody's going to be surprised. We just have to make
- 31:43Speaker 13: sure we do what we gotta do to win the game.
- 31:46Speaker 13: And you know, he's a really tough cover. He's probably
- 31:49Speaker 13: gonna go top eight in the draft, so he possibly
- 31:54Speaker 13: the best guard we're going to play all year. So
- 31:56Speaker 13: and that's saying a lot that we played a lot
- 31:58Speaker 13: of great guards. So he's gonna be a really tough
- 32:01Speaker 13: cover and we have to do all we gotta do
- 32:03Speaker 13: to try to stop them. Man, we have to focus
- 32:06Speaker 13: as a team. It's really gonna be a team deal.
- 32:08Speaker 13: It's not a one on one deal. It's a team
- 32:10Speaker 13: deal when it comes to a great player like that.
- 32:13Speaker 8: Arkansas's pretty tough place to play at, just but you know,
- 32:16Speaker 8: an SEC player. You guys have had some pretty good
- 32:18Speaker 8: road winds and even in the loss, has been pretty
- 32:20Speaker 8: competitive on the road. Just what is it about it
- 32:22Speaker 8: the way you guys play on the road that maybe
- 32:24Speaker 8: carries over in those situations.
- 32:27Speaker 9: I think just the way we play.
- 32:29Speaker 13: You know, we press you, so that's always nobody really
- 32:31Speaker 13: likes to get pressed in their own gym.
- 32:34Speaker 9: You know.
- 32:34Speaker 13: We make threes that could take a crowd out of
- 32:36Speaker 13: a game, that could deflate a team, just making threes.
- 32:39Speaker 13: Like even when we're here, when somebody makes it three,
- 32:42Speaker 13: I'm just like, dang, Like they hit a three, Like
- 32:44Speaker 13: the crowd just gets quiet for that split second. So
- 32:48Speaker 13: I think that's why we've been pretty solid on the road.
- 32:50Speaker 13: We played against tough environments like Auburn and Tennessee, and.
- 32:54Speaker 9: This one is right up there with him.
- 32:56Speaker 13: Like the first time I was in there, I thought
- 32:58Speaker 13: the floor was shaking at the free throw line. So
- 33:00Speaker 13: it's gonna be really really loud there, and they're known
- 33:03Speaker 13: for having a great crowd, But hopefully with the way
- 33:05Speaker 13: we play and us pressing and hopefully we make some
- 33:08Speaker 13: threes and it tones down the crowd a little bit.
- 33:11Speaker 8: I think it was postgame at earlier Bucky said that
- 33:14Speaker 8: before that Old Miss game, he kind of told you guys,
- 33:16Speaker 8: the NCAA tournament starts now. Just do you feel like
- 33:20Speaker 8: that message was well received and just what kind of
- 33:22Speaker 8: maybe sense of urgency have you seen from your guys
- 33:24Speaker 8: in this last two games.
- 33:26Speaker 9: I think it's been a great sense of urgency.
- 33:29Speaker 13: I think sometimes you need to go through like tough
- 33:31Speaker 13: moments just to regroup so you don't come out here
- 33:34Speaker 13: lack a daisical and stuff.
- 33:35Speaker 9: You just need to.
- 33:36Speaker 13: Remember, like, hey, like we don't do what we're supposed
- 33:38Speaker 13: to do, Like this is how it feels versus when
- 33:40Speaker 13: we did when we were supposed to do, when we
- 33:42Speaker 13: were on.
- 33:43Speaker 9: A winning streak. So sometimes a lot of teams just need.
- 33:46Speaker 13: That regroup that they that we had, and I feel
- 33:48Speaker 13: like we had it and now it's time to capitalize
- 33:51Speaker 13: and do what we said we're gonna do and try
- 33:53Speaker 13: to not let they're not playing hard, not it's not
- 33:56Speaker 13: about making the mission shots, but all the stuff we
- 33:59Speaker 13: can control, box outs and run through effort and stuff
- 34:02Speaker 13: like that. You know, we don't want to go we
- 34:04Speaker 13: don't want to leave an arena and say we wish
- 34:06Speaker 13: we had to did more of that. So that's really
- 34:08Speaker 13: the focus for us right now.
- 34:10Speaker 15: Late in that game at Oklahoma, you wanted the ball,
- 34:13Speaker 15: And what does it say about this staff and this
- 34:16Speaker 15: team that they trusted you to take that tough shot
- 34:19Speaker 15: that ultimately you know, ended up winning the game for y'all.
- 34:22Speaker 15: And then what does that do for your confidence that
- 34:24Speaker 15: you were able to make that tough shot and then
- 34:27Speaker 15: put the ball in your hands.
- 34:29Speaker 13: Oh, I just trust like the way we when we
- 34:32Speaker 13: work out the stuff we work on, we work on
- 34:33Speaker 13: that type stuff to finish. I had that we work
- 34:36Speaker 13: on that every day, and we just I just I
- 34:39Speaker 13: wanted it because the past couple of games, like Missouri,
- 34:43Speaker 13: I had missed a wide open shot and that was
- 34:45Speaker 13: one that I'm like, Wow, I can't like let that
- 34:47Speaker 13: type stuff happen again. And I was really really upset
- 34:51Speaker 13: with myself after that one. Even though you can't really
- 34:54Speaker 13: control whether you make a misshots, but that was just
- 34:56Speaker 13: one where it's like I feel like nine times out
- 34:59Speaker 13: of ten I was and make that when I missed it.
- 35:01Speaker 9: In the moment, I shouldn't have missed it.
- 35:02Speaker 13: So I was just like, from now on, down the stretch,
- 35:04Speaker 13: I just got to focus and lock in even more
- 35:07Speaker 13: and do what I gotta do, and if.
- 35:09Speaker 9: I make or miss it, it is what it is.
- 35:11Speaker 13: But I got to know that I'm locked in for
- 35:13Speaker 13: the down the stretch moments of the game too. So
- 35:16Speaker 13: that's one reason why I feel like I was locked
- 35:18Speaker 13: in that game.
- 35:19Speaker 8: This time last week, quite a bit of discussion about
- 35:22Speaker 8: maybe some of the fatigue y'all have been feeling, especially
- 35:24Speaker 8: coming after that Vanderbilt game. Just you know how you
- 35:27Speaker 8: guys feel like y'all feeling physically this time this week.
- 35:31Speaker 13: I mean, everybody, if you played minuting in college at
- 35:34Speaker 13: this point of the year, everybody's kind of like nicked up.
- 35:37Speaker 13: I'm sure, even like Arkansas got nicked up guys, But
- 35:40Speaker 13: every time we played has been had nicked up players.
- 35:43Speaker 9: We got nicked up guys.
- 35:44Speaker 13: So it's just about you know, fighting through it and
- 35:47Speaker 13: playing through it and just doing what you gotta do
- 35:48Speaker 13: to win. I mean, either way, nobody wants to sit
- 35:51Speaker 13: out at this time of year, like this is a
- 35:53Speaker 13: time where you got to win games and try to
- 35:56Speaker 13: make a run at the end of the year and
- 35:58Speaker 13: make the fan bases respect your team and respect you
- 36:01Speaker 13: as a person.
- 36:02Speaker 9: So nobody's really trying to sit out.
- 36:05Speaker 13: Even if we feel in a little nicked up like,
- 36:07Speaker 13: we still got to approach it as if we're not
- 36:09Speaker 13: nicked up at all and go out there and play
- 36:11Speaker 13: all right.
- 36:11Speaker 4: That's that's Roynald Griffin.
- 36:13Speaker 1: And again tomorrow evening eight o'clock the Piggy People hosting
- 36:18Speaker 1: the Aggies and nine to five win at Arkansas would
- 36:22Speaker 1: be a no doubter in terms of getting off the bubble,
- 36:27Speaker 1: making sure you're in the tournament. They still have obviously
- 36:31Speaker 1: Texas coming in on Saturday, some difficult games, but this one.
- 36:36Speaker 4: To get this one, that would be a big deal.
- 36:40Speaker 1: This portion of our show is brought to you by
