- 2:32Speaker 2: Boom.
- 2:37Speaker 1: The plague. The plague is coming. I got it's funny.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I don't know if if you experience this with people
- 2:44Speaker 1: in your life, but maybe perhaps you're the most dialed
- 2:46Speaker 1: in on the news. It's very likely considering you're listening
- 2:48Speaker 1: to this program right now. But if you're the most
- 2:51Speaker 1: dialed in person in your house on the news, do
- 2:54Speaker 1: you find that other people come to you to ask
- 2:55Speaker 1: you what's going on? Does that happen to you, Chad?
- 2:57Speaker 1: Like other members of your household or close friends and family?
- 3:00Speaker 1: They're like, hey, what's going on with this story? Can
- 3:02Speaker 1: you explain what exactly is going down with this? So
- 3:06Speaker 1: I get this with some frequency from my dear wife.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Allison will ask me, as she did last night. She said, hey,
- 3:13Speaker 1: what's going on with the plague? What's happening in Russia
- 3:17Speaker 1: with this plague story? What is that all about? And
- 3:20Speaker 1: so her core concern is, are we all going to die?
- 3:24Speaker 1: She wants to know. And it's my duty as a
- 3:28Speaker 1: husband to tell her, no, we're not. We're totally fine.
- 3:31Speaker 1: We're not going to die. But if we do... That'll
- 3:35Speaker 1: be great too. Hopefully we've lived our lives well. We've
- 3:37Speaker 1: accepted the gift of eternity and we're off to the
- 3:40Speaker 1: next great chapter. She's never comforted by that answer, by
- 3:44Speaker 1: the way. I always, always like, yeah, maybe, I don't know.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Maybe we all die. That'd be fine with me. And
- 3:50Speaker 1: she's like, what? I'm like, yeah. I said yesterday on
- 3:52Speaker 1: the radio show, like if it really, if the plague
- 3:54Speaker 1: is really coming for all of us, I'm ready to
- 3:56Speaker 1: Scrooge McDuck dive right into the virus at this point.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Like no more of this COVID nonsense. Just, you know what?
- 4:02Speaker 1: I'm just going to live my life let the ships
- 4:04Speaker 1: fall where they may. God has a plan and it's
- 4:06Speaker 1: way better than whatever I've got in store. So I'm
- 4:08Speaker 1: good with that. That again, that does not come from
- 4:10Speaker 1: my wife. Allison is probably more sincerely committed to Dan
- 4:17Speaker 1: Bongino's philosophy of don't get dead than Dan Bongino is.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I think she's, I think truly, I think that Allison's
- 4:24Speaker 1: operating philosophy every single day is don't get dead. That really,
- 4:28Speaker 1: really is her attitude about all of this. But I'm
- 4:31Speaker 1: just trying to tell her it's going to be fine.
- 4:33Speaker 1: So what are we learning? We're learning that we don't
- 4:35Speaker 1: actually know that much. The Trump administration is trying to
- 4:37Speaker 1: find out more information. The president's calling Vladimir Putin, and
- 4:41Speaker 1: he's supposed to give us some updates today on this subject.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I'll get to a lot of this coming up in
- 4:44Speaker 1: the show when we have Dr. Robert Redfield stop by.
- 4:47Speaker 1: But I did tell Allison yesterday, I was like, well,
- 4:49Speaker 1: don't worry. I've got a guest on the subject. She's like,
- 4:51Speaker 1: who do you have? I'm like, Robert Redfield. She's like,
- 4:53Speaker 1: who's that? I was like, the former head of the
- 4:55Speaker 1: Centers for Disease Control. Is that not enough? Who do
- 5:00Speaker 1: I need to have on? Who would satisfy you? Which
- 5:02Speaker 1: expert guest would be the appropriate person to have on
- 5:05Speaker 1: the show? We'll have him on. He's great. I'll remind
- 5:08Speaker 1: you that he was one of the guys who said
- 5:10Speaker 1: that during COVID, he was like, this is not what
- 5:14Speaker 1: all these other crazy people are saying. And he's even
- 5:17Speaker 1: called out, what's his face, Anthony Fauci a bunch of times,
- 5:20Speaker 1: including here on this program. We've had him on and
- 5:22Speaker 1: calling out Fauci for his insanities. So we've got Robert Redfield.
- 5:27Speaker 1: We'll ask him. I saw a story from him yesterday, though,
- 5:29Speaker 1: just to give you a little bit of a teaser.
- 5:31Speaker 1: He indicated he's not that concerned about it. But we'll
- 5:34Speaker 1: ask him directly. We'll find out what he thinks about
- 5:36Speaker 1: all of this and what the hell's going on. That's
- 5:39Speaker 1: what we try to do. Stay cool, my babies. We've
- 5:42Speaker 1: got a lot to get to. But first, before we
- 5:45Speaker 1: jump into all of that other stuff, I got to
- 5:47Speaker 1: dwell on the left's fake scandal of the week. And yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 1: of course, I know everybody wants the theme song, so
- 5:51Speaker 1: of course you'll have it. And now it's time for
- 5:56Speaker 1: the left's fake scandal of the week.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Extra, extra.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Yeah, no. Look, we started yesterday's program with this breaking
- 6:10Speaker 1: news that the left was accusing President Trump of a
- 6:14Speaker 1: casual interest in allowing Iran to nuke Los Angeles. It's
- 6:21Speaker 1: all so stupid. It really is so stupid. Just imagine
- 6:24Speaker 1: if the left had real things to criticize Trump over.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Just imagine. If they did, they would be using them
- 6:31Speaker 1: as an attempt to win an election, say win the midterms.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But in the absence of real critiques of the president,
- 6:37Speaker 1: they have to devise fake ones. So they said this
- 6:39Speaker 1: week that President Trump is advocating for the nuking of
- 6:42Speaker 1: various American cities, which, of course, he wasn't at all.
- 6:46Speaker 1: In his speech from a couple of days ago in Nebraska,
- 6:49Speaker 1: he said that the that the small price to pay
- 6:53Speaker 1: right now for Americans is we've got higher energy prices,
- 6:56Speaker 1: but that's a small price to pay to keep Iran alive.
- 6:58Speaker 1: from having nuclear weapons that they can use against American cities, okay?
- 7:03Speaker 1: So that's like a very normal thing that he has
- 7:06Speaker 1: said actually a million times on the campaign trail. But
- 7:10Speaker 1: the media in its intentional bad faith misinterpretations of the
- 7:14Speaker 1: president says that, oh, he said the small price to
- 7:16Speaker 1: pay would be to nuke American cities. You're an idiot.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I don't know how else to conclude. You're
- 7:22Speaker 1: an idiot. That really is the assessment here. And these
- 7:26Speaker 1: idiots have decided that this is a great talking point
- 7:29Speaker 1: and let's stick with it. So yesterday, I'm watching as
- 7:32Speaker 1: it was obvious to anybody with two eyes, two ears,
- 7:35Speaker 1: and two brain cells to rub together. By yesterday afternoon,
- 7:37Speaker 1: it was super obvious that this was a lie, that
- 7:39Speaker 1: Donald Trump was not advocating the nuking of American cities.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And yet, of course, Chuck Schumer comes flying in off
- 7:46Speaker 1: the top rope with more stupidity. He writes, on X,
- 7:50Speaker 1: somebody on his staff wrote this. This is at 4.06 p.m.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Eastern time yesterday, well after it was proven that this
- 7:56Speaker 1: is yet another left-wing hoax. Deranged, delusional, soon to be defeated.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Is that a good Chuck Schumer? Probably not. Calling millions
- 8:06Speaker 1: of Americans collateral damage in his illegal war that nobody
- 8:09Speaker 1: asked for takes a special kind of depravity. The kind
- 8:13Speaker 1: only a man as weak and feeble as Donald Trump
- 8:15Speaker 1: could sink to.
- 8:17Speaker 4: What?
- 8:18Speaker 1: He didn't say millions of Americans are collateral damage. You
- 8:22Speaker 1: freaking whack job. This is the talking point? And the
- 8:26Speaker 1: talking points went out. It was interesting. I don't know
- 8:28Speaker 1: about you, Chad, but did you watch yesterday? This all
- 8:31Speaker 1: came out at the same moment, like right within the
- 8:33Speaker 1: same kind of two-hour window. So Chuck Schumer comes out 4.06 p.m.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Eastern.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Kamala Harris is out. at 5.14 p.m. Eastern time? Californians'
- 8:43Speaker 1: lives are not expendable in Donald Trump's unhinged, reckless war
- 8:46Speaker 1: in Iran, she says. This is yet another callous comment
- 8:50Speaker 1: from the tyrant in the White House who dragged the
- 8:52Speaker 1: American people into a war we don't want. First of all,
- 8:56Speaker 1: this woman doesn't even know where Russia and Ukraine are,
- 9:00Speaker 1: and she's acting like she got the president cold. Yeah,
- 9:04Speaker 1: he was advocating the nuclear destruction of American cities. So
- 9:09Speaker 1: this is the idiocy. And then Gavin Newsom, greasy Gavin Newsom,
- 9:14Speaker 1: released an entire podcast on the subject yesterday. For some reason,
- 9:18Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom has a podcast. Isn't he the governor of
- 9:20Speaker 1: an entire state? What the hell's going on? Greasy Gavin
- 9:23Speaker 1: Newsom releases this. This was in the four o'clock hour
- 9:25Speaker 1: Eastern yesterday where he says that Donald Trump wants Los
- 9:29Speaker 1: Angeles to be nuked. Watch this.
- 9:31Speaker 6: So if you didn't think the November election mattered, just
- 9:34Speaker 6: considered what just happened. The president of the United States,
- 9:37Speaker 6: the same one who sent in the National Guard into
- 9:40Speaker 6: Los Angeles, sent 700 active duty Marines to the second
- 9:44Speaker 6: largest city in the United States of America, just invited
- 9:48Speaker 6: Iran to take out Los Angeles and San Diego, where,
- 9:53Speaker 6: by the way, over 130,000 active duty personnel.
- 9:55Speaker 1: He's crazy. are best and the brightest.
- 10:02Speaker 6: This is not only madness, this is dangerous and it's deranged.
- 10:06Speaker 6: And the question is self-evident. Where the hell is Congress?
- 10:10Speaker 6: Where the hell are you, Speaker Johnson? Marco Rubio, the
- 10:13Speaker 6: great J.D. Vance, where is your outrage? Find a backbone.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Do your damn job.
- 10:20Speaker 1: The absence of that? It's all so stupid. Isn't it stupid?
- 10:27Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. Were you looking at this
- 10:29Speaker 1: yesterday going, oh my God, they're really doubling down on this?
- 10:34Speaker 1: They're going to double down on this lie? When everybody
- 10:37Speaker 1: else is literally laughing at them at this point? I
- 10:41Speaker 1: just want to be really clear about this. Everything about
- 10:44Speaker 1: this is in a way, it's kind of in an
- 10:46Speaker 1: interesting way. It's kind of a massive red pill, isn't it?
- 10:50Speaker 1: It's a massive red pill for a million reasons. One,
- 10:52Speaker 1: it demonstrates the extent to which the depravity of the
- 10:55Speaker 1: left and the media, if you didn't already know that,
- 10:58Speaker 1: this is a new chance. This is a re-upped opportunity
- 11:01Speaker 1: for people to wake up. It's like the very fine
- 11:04Speaker 1: people hoax. People started waking up to like, what the hell?
- 11:08Speaker 1: Trump didn't say white supremacists are great. He condemned them.
- 11:12Speaker 1: What are you talking about? And then And the media,
- 11:15Speaker 1: of course, lied about that subject. It's like, you know,
- 11:17Speaker 1: when President Trump told people to patriotically and peacefully make
- 11:21Speaker 1: their voices heard at the United States Capitol building on
- 11:23Speaker 1: January 6th of 2021, and the media straight up censored
- 11:27Speaker 1: that detail out of all of its coverage, and then
- 11:29Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi's fake January 6th committee never mentions it in
- 11:34Speaker 1: their primetime television extravaganza. And then people see that eventually
- 11:38Speaker 1: and they're like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait
- 11:39Speaker 1: a second. You never told me about that. And this
- 11:42Speaker 1: is the same thing. So this is a renewed opportunity
- 11:45Speaker 1: for people to wake up. So in a way, it's
- 11:47Speaker 1: kind of a gift. I mean, it is a sign
- 11:50Speaker 1: of how deranged the left is, no question about it.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And it's a sad commentary on how far that party
- 11:55Speaker 1: has fallen. But it's also a wonderful opportunity for more
- 11:59Speaker 1: people to wake up to the fact that they are liars.
- 12:02Speaker 1: They are liars, committed, brazen, double down liars. liars and
- 12:07Speaker 1: also as i said a moment ago it's another red
- 12:10Speaker 1: pill which is they don't actually have a great case
- 12:12Speaker 1: against trump the trump case is pretty strong the guy
- 12:15Speaker 1: secured the border is deporting over three million illegal aliens
- 12:18Speaker 1: from the country he's he's decreased the size of the
- 12:21Speaker 1: federal government by 300 000 and more uh he's brought
- 12:25Speaker 1: the homicide rates to record lows childhood poverty is at
- 12:27Speaker 1: record lows actual poverty for american citizens into record lows
- 12:31Speaker 1: household incomes at record highs More Americans are gaining jobs.
- 12:35Speaker 1: More Americans are entering the workforce. More Americans are employed
- 12:37Speaker 1: now than at any other time in American history. I mean,
- 12:40Speaker 1: if you go down the list, you're like, holy crap,
- 12:42Speaker 1: there's actually a lot of good things to talk about.
- 12:45Speaker 1: There really is. So in the absence of a real
- 12:48Speaker 1: critique against the president, the left just goes with the
- 12:51Speaker 1: fake one. This is a massive red pill. It really is.
- 12:56Speaker 1: And it's not just these Democrat politicians, as I point out.
- 12:58Speaker 1: It's also the media. The media are so full of crap.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Every time one of these media people double down on
- 13:04Speaker 1: this lie, just add them to the list of the
- 13:07Speaker 1: people that Donald Trump should kick immediately out of the
- 13:09Speaker 1: White House office space. For instance, here's PBS NewsHour last
- 13:14Speaker 1: night lying to its audience well after it was proven
- 13:18Speaker 1: that this is a hoax. Watch this.
- 13:21Speaker 5: President Trump is facing bipartisan backlash today after comments at
- 13:25Speaker 5: a campaign rally in which he suggested that Iran could
- 13:28Speaker 5: take out two cities in California.
- 13:31Speaker 4: It's a small price to pay for keeping the world safe,
- 13:35Speaker 4: keeping our country safe. They can take out a city.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Let them take out Los Angeles.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Let them take out San Diego.
- 13:43Speaker 4: This is a very small price to pay, and it's
- 13:47Speaker 4: going to be over very soon.
- 13:49Speaker 5: California's Democratic lawmakers condemned the remarks, and Republican congressional candidate
- 13:54Speaker 5: and Navy veteran Jim Desmond said he vehemently disagrees, saying, quote,
- 13:58Speaker 5: no American city is expendable. The White House countered that Mr.
- 14:02Speaker 5: Trump was misunderstood and was arguing that the war is
- 14:05Speaker 5: preventing Iran from ever having such capability.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Now, he wasn't misunderstood. I'm sorry, the White House is
- 14:11Speaker 1: incorrect if that's the statement that somebody at the White
- 14:13Speaker 1: House gave. He wasn't misunderstood. He was intentionally lied about.
- 14:19Speaker 1: His words were intentionally distorted by Democrats and the media
- 14:23Speaker 1: in an attempt to attack him and try and help
- 14:26Speaker 1: Democrats win the midterms. This was intentional. It's crystal clear
- 14:30Speaker 1: to anybody who listened to the actual audio. And do
- 14:32Speaker 1: you notice what PBS did? You see the little cut
- 14:34Speaker 1: they made? They started by saying, it's a small price
- 14:37Speaker 1: to pay. And then the president says, let them nuke
- 14:40Speaker 1: Los Angeles. Let them nuke San Diego. They didn't play
- 14:45Speaker 1: the audio that immediately proceeds as a small price to pay,
- 14:48Speaker 1: which is that energy prices are higher right now, which
- 14:52Speaker 1: is a small price to pay. And then he goes
- 14:54Speaker 1: on to say, like, that would be crazy if Iran
- 14:58Speaker 1: was able to nuke American cities. We can't let that happen.
- 15:00Speaker 1: So the energy prices being a little higher is a
- 15:02Speaker 1: small price to pay. They exclude that. So this is
- 15:05Speaker 1: not a news operation. I love that they call themselves
- 15:07Speaker 1: PBS NewsHour. They're not in the news business anymore. They're
- 15:13Speaker 1: in the deceit business. That was propaganda that you just saw.
- 15:21Speaker 1: So they keep doubling down. Again, add them to the list.
- 15:24Speaker 1: This is not even a close call. This is 100%
- 15:28Speaker 1: fake news. This is not open to interpretation or shades
- 15:31Speaker 1: of gray or what did he really mean? It's really
- 15:34Speaker 1: hard to suss it out. It's none of that crap.
- 15:37Speaker 1: This is just lying. To the to the news consuming audience,
- 15:41Speaker 1: which should be a news consuming audience. It's lying. And
- 15:46Speaker 1: then yesterday, as the president was at the White House,
- 15:49Speaker 1: some idiot reporter tried to double down yet again directly
- 15:52Speaker 1: to his face. And the president gave this reporter a gesture.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I would say it's one gesture shy of the one
- 15:59Speaker 1: that he should really give this reporter. But but watch
- 16:02Speaker 1: as he hand waves this person off for being an idiot.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Check this out.
- 16:06Speaker 7: What did you mean by your comments yesterday about San
- 16:12Speaker 7: Diego and Los Angeles possibly.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Being wiped out by.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Iran, sir?
- 16:19Speaker 1: He just waves her off. It's like a stupid question.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Just move on. What do you mean, what do I mean?
- 16:24Speaker 1: Did you listen to the speech? How about listening to
- 16:25Speaker 1: the speech, dummy? It's amazing. It's truly amazing. You know,
- 16:35Speaker 1: they don't have a real case. They don't have a
- 16:37Speaker 1: case against him. So they make one up. That's what's
- 16:40Speaker 1: happening right now. Because his case is strong. The president
- 16:44Speaker 1: is going across the country right now, campaigning every single
- 16:48Speaker 1: day in different states, at different locations, making the case
- 16:52Speaker 1: that the Trump agenda is succeeding. And now he could
- 16:54Speaker 1: use some authentic MAGA backup in Washington, more reinforcements to
- 17:00Speaker 1: get the MAGA agenda across the finish line. That's the
- 17:03Speaker 1: case he's making. And he's done with the crap. He's
- 17:05Speaker 1: done with the fake news. He's annoyed by their stupidity.
- 17:10Speaker 1: And he wants to stay focused on the business of
- 17:12Speaker 1: the American people. I love the hand wave. I love it.
- 17:16Speaker 1: It's reminiscent of the Apprentice firing, by the way. It's
- 17:19Speaker 1: close to that Viper move he used to do.
- 17:24Speaker 3: There he is.
- 17:24Speaker 1: He's got the USA hat, 45-47, near that cool new
- 17:28Speaker 1: helipad they built at the White House to preserve the
- 17:31Speaker 1: White House lawn. And it looks great, actually. The helipad
- 17:33Speaker 1: looks neat. But the president yesterday, he was making the case.
- 17:36Speaker 1: He was making the case. Watch this. As the president
- 17:39Speaker 1: explains why his agenda has been great and why voters
- 17:43Speaker 1: should stick with him. Here he is, cut four. Watch this.
- 17:45Speaker 1: What can you.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Say is the number one issue for.
- 17:50Speaker 4: American voters in the meantime? Well, I don't know exactly.
- 17:53Speaker 4: When you look at American voters, we're doing better. We're
- 17:55Speaker 4: taking in trillions of dollars of investment. We have more jobs.
- 17:59Speaker 4: You know, more people are working in America today than
- 18:02Speaker 4: at any time in history. The poverty rate is the
- 18:05Speaker 4: best it's ever been in terms of individual. That includes
- 18:09Speaker 4: African American, Asian American, Hispanic American. Poverty rate is the
- 18:14Speaker 4: single best poverty rate, meaning lowest poverty rate we've ever had.
- 18:19Speaker 4: The individual rate on individual people are making more money
- 18:22Speaker 4: than they've ever made. And if you take a look around,
- 18:26Speaker 4: we have more jobs right now in the United States
- 18:28Speaker 4: of America than at any time in the history of
- 18:31Speaker 4: our country.
- 18:34Speaker 1: What more do you need to know? What more do
- 18:36Speaker 1: you need to know? That's a phenomenal record. Any one
- 18:40Speaker 1: of those items would be the kind of record that
- 18:43Speaker 1: would lead a reelection campaign if that's what he was
- 18:46Speaker 1: running for right now. That would be the big item
- 18:48Speaker 1: right at the top of the list. Any one of
- 18:50Speaker 1: those items. And yet he's got a laundry list that
- 18:52Speaker 1: he can't even get to every point. Can't even get
- 18:56Speaker 1: to all of them. The secure border, all the deportations,
- 19:00Speaker 1: the drop in homicides, the drop in violent crime, the
- 19:03Speaker 1: drop in fentanyl deaths. Massive drops there. Any one of
- 19:07Speaker 1: those items would be the screaming lead in a sane world.
- 19:13Speaker 1: But instead, he's getting the screeching of a news media
- 19:17Speaker 1: who's intentionally trying to take him down, as usual. We've
- 19:20Speaker 1: had nearly a decade of this. We've had over a
- 19:23Speaker 1: decade of this. And it just continues. This is the
- 19:25Speaker 1: latest iteration of it. We've seen it a million times.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Now the nuke LA hoax is underway. It's also very stupid.
- 19:33Speaker 1: But again, in a way, it's kind of a red pill.
- 19:36Speaker 1: It's a huge red pill. More ahead on this edition
- 19:39Speaker 1: of Vince. We've got a lot more to talk about.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I've got some campaign news for you to discuss as
- 19:43Speaker 1: we head into the midterms. And then Dr. Robert Redfield
- 19:46Speaker 1: is moments away. We'll chat with him about the plague
- 19:48Speaker 1: and how we're all going to die. But first, let
- 19:51Speaker 1: me tell you about Z Biotics Pre-Alcohol, a great sponsor
- 19:54Speaker 1: of our show. This stuff is pretty awesome. I'll tell
- 19:57Speaker 1: you what. You ever have a drink and then you
- 19:59Speaker 1: feel it the next day? I feel like as I
- 20:01Speaker 1: get a little bit older, like even one drink, I
- 20:03Speaker 1: was like, I feel a little bit different because of
- 20:05Speaker 1: that drink last night. You know what's helped? Z Biotics Pre-Alcohol.
- 20:09Speaker 1: It's pretty cool. It's a probiotic drink. It's the world's
- 20:12Speaker 1: first genetically engineered probiotic, and it was engineered by their
- 20:15Speaker 1: PhD microbiologists to help break down acetaldehyde, which is an
- 20:20Speaker 1: unwanted byproduct of alcohol metabolism. You can make pre-alcohol your
- 20:24Speaker 1: first drink of the night and then drink responsibly and
- 20:27Speaker 1: enjoy your next day's activities. Z Biotics has sold more
- 20:30Speaker 1: than 14 million bottles and earned the trust of thousands,
- 20:34Speaker 1: including our team. Now, it fits my routine perfectly. It's great.
- 20:37Speaker 1: You should try it for yourself today. And if you're unsatisfied,
- 20:40Speaker 1: they'll refund your entire order. No questions asked. Just head

- 20:56Speaker 1: or condition. Thank you, Zbiotics, for supporting the show. and
- 21:00Speaker 1: fun night. Let me tell you now about what's going
- 21:04Speaker 1: on with some of this campaign news. You got the
- 21:07Speaker 1: president making the case to voters yesterday that he deserves
- 21:10Speaker 1: to win. I just saw this morning as we were
- 21:12Speaker 1: about to start the program, the media's up at arms.
- 21:15Speaker 1: They're very excited about a new piece of audio that
- 21:20Speaker 1: apparently came out from Ken Paxton. It was secretly recorded
- 21:23Speaker 1: audio in Texas. You ready for this? This is actually
- 21:27Speaker 1: laugh out loud funny that the media is trying to
- 21:29Speaker 1: turn this into a scandal. Check this out. This is
- 21:33Speaker 1: this morning, Ken Paxton. This is the piece from Axios.
- 21:40Speaker 1: The guy's name is Andrew Sollinger. Scoop, Ken Paxton asked
- 21:44Speaker 1: about the biggest drag on his campaign, said, quote, it's
- 21:48Speaker 1: the war. It's gas prices per audio obtained by Axios.
- 21:53Speaker 1: He agreed he can't stop the Iran war and said, quote,
- 21:56Speaker 1: I don't know what's behind some of the decisions, end quote.
- 21:59Speaker 1: So there's a rule in journalism. You always lead with
- 22:02Speaker 1: your best stuff. You got to lead with the most
- 22:03Speaker 1: dramatic stuff, like the stuff that's really going to capture
- 22:06Speaker 1: everybody's attention. So the big thing that's going to capture
- 22:08Speaker 1: everybody's attention is Ken Paxton being concerned about what voters
- 22:13Speaker 1: care about, the war and gas prices. I.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Josh, you want to play this? Is it cut five?
- 22:25Speaker 1: Can we play cut five? Let's play a little bit
- 22:26Speaker 1: of this. Here's the audio.
- 22:28Speaker 3: What are the issues that.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Are dragging on you?
- 22:33Speaker 3: I mean, what are people thinking about terrorists? Do they
- 22:38Speaker 3: see that in any connection? What are they thinking?
- 22:42Speaker 6: It's the war, it's gas prices, it's diesel.
- 22:48Speaker 3: When it's over $ 6 a gallon, it's diesel.
- 22:52Speaker 1: All right, I know, I know. People can go listen
- 22:54Speaker 1: to it if they want to, but it's the war,
- 22:57Speaker 1: it's gas prices, it's diesel being over $ 6 a gallon.
- 22:59Speaker 1: That's the answer. Now, I just want you to think
- 23:01Speaker 1: about this for a moment. I told you before that
- 23:05Speaker 1: these hidden recordings... never end up being big scandals for
- 23:10Speaker 1: Republicans because Republicans just talk about normal stuff when they're
- 23:14Speaker 1: secretly recorded. Meanwhile, James Talafrico gets caught on camera name
- 23:20Speaker 1: dropping his favorite drag queens and saying that the oil
- 23:24Speaker 1: industry in Texas needs to be destroyed. We are not
- 23:29Speaker 1: the same. This is not, this is, there is absolutely
- 23:33Speaker 1: no similarities to these types of secret recording scandals. James
- 23:38Speaker 1: Talafrico is a whack job, caught on camera, saying things like,
- 23:44Speaker 1: the Bible is all in on aborting your children. And
- 23:50Speaker 1: Ken Paxton gets caught on camera saying, voters are concerned
- 23:53Speaker 1: about energy prices. Only one of these is actually a scandal.
- 23:57Speaker 1: The other is like a guy with a functioning brain
- 24:00Speaker 1: assessing what voters care about. This is hilarious to me.
- 24:06Speaker 1: It is a sign, I'm telling you, it is a
- 24:09Speaker 1: sign of the desperation of the left that they're trying
- 24:12Speaker 1: to turn normal conversations into scandals. Isn't it the most
- 24:18Speaker 1: obvious thing in the world? Like Texas voters right now
- 24:21Speaker 1: have the most obvious choice in front of them. They
- 24:23Speaker 1: either go with the drag queen freak who looks up
- 24:27Speaker 1: to Pete Buttigieg. Did you see that clip? He said
- 24:35Speaker 1: Pete Buttigieg is his idol or whatever. Telefrico said this.
- 24:40Speaker 1: He said that pothole Pete is his idol. And then
- 24:43Speaker 1: you got Ken Paxton being like, yeah, voters are concerned
- 24:45Speaker 1: about energy prices. I know which guy Texas voters should support.
- 24:50Speaker 1: And it's quite obviously Ken Paxton. So that's one, again,
- 24:54Speaker 1: the left and their scandals of the week. I won't
- 24:57Speaker 1: hit you with the music again, as fun as it is,
- 24:59Speaker 1: but I'm telling you, this is all so very stupid.
- 25:03Speaker 3: It really is.
- 25:04Speaker 1: So we have that. And then we've also got the
- 25:08Speaker 1: the Maine Senate debate was last night. If we fly
- 25:11Speaker 1: up to Maine for a moment, Susan Collins going against
- 25:15Speaker 1: this this radical Troy Jackson, who she's now running against
- 25:20Speaker 1: after the last guy with the Nazi tattoo got chased
- 25:22Speaker 1: out of the race. Troy Jackson took over for him.
- 25:24Speaker 1: And if you want to get a sense of how
- 25:26Speaker 1: radical he is. He thinks that no voter anywhere in
- 25:30Speaker 1: our country should show photo ID. This was a real
- 25:33Speaker 1: moment in that debate last night in Maine. I'm not
- 25:35Speaker 1: saying Susan Collins has been some, like, MAGA person. I'm
- 25:38Speaker 1: saying Susan Collins is the Republican choice in Maine, and
- 25:42Speaker 1: if we're going to have a Republican represent Maine, that'd
- 25:45Speaker 1: be wonderful. Let's send Susan Collins back to the Senate,
- 25:48Speaker 1: and we could, you know, we could fight with her
- 25:50Speaker 1: when the time comes over any given piece of legislation.
- 25:53Speaker 1: But she supports photo ID. The other guy says... that
- 25:58Speaker 1: your vote should be straight up stolen? Josh, do you
- 26:00Speaker 1: have that video? Show me, show me cut six. Is
- 26:02Speaker 1: that cut six? I believe it is. And if it's not,
- 26:12Speaker 1: I can just play it.
- 26:13Speaker 7: Yes or no, Troy Jackson.
- 26:14Speaker 4: No, as a working logger, many times I went to
- 26:16Speaker 4: the polls without my ID. No.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Senator Collins.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Yes, only Americans should vote in American elections.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I don't think that's too much to ask when you
- 26:27Speaker 1: go to register to vote. And that's already the law. Medical,
- 26:30Speaker 1: excuse me, military events in Israel, increase, decrease, keep out
- 26:33Speaker 1: the same.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Senator Collins.
- 26:35Speaker 1: So here's the thing. She says straight up, she says
- 26:39Speaker 1: straight up, yeah, of course you should show ID to vote.
- 26:42Speaker 1: And Troy Jackson says, no. The question was, do we
- 26:46Speaker 1: need ID to vote across the nation? And Troy Jackson says, no.
- 26:50Speaker 2: No.
- 26:51Speaker 1: So again, the Democrat in that race says nobody should
- 26:55Speaker 1: have their vote protected by showing ID. Now, Susan Collins,
- 27:00Speaker 1: of course, should go the next step and she should
- 27:01Speaker 1: go the full freaking distance and support the most obvious
- 27:05Speaker 1: thing imaginable, which is the Save America Act, because we
- 27:08Speaker 1: could use that. But Maine, again, these choices are so obvious.
- 27:15Speaker 1: They're so obvious. Maine voters should send Susan Collins back
- 27:19Speaker 1: to the United States Senate and keep a whack job
- 27:22Speaker 1: like Troy Jackson, who wants to destroy the sanctity of
- 27:26Speaker 1: your vote, away from power. It couldn't be more clear
- 27:30Speaker 1: than that. All right, coming up in just a moment,
- 27:32Speaker 1: I want to get the latest on what the heck
- 27:34Speaker 1: is going on with these claims of the plague emerging
- 27:38Speaker 1: in Russia. We've got a couple of big news headlines
- 27:40Speaker 1: for you on that subject, and then we'll be joined
- 27:42Speaker 1: by the former CDC director, Robert Redfield. He'll be with
- 27:46Speaker 1: us in just a moment to give us his expert
- 27:48Speaker 1: assessment on the subject. So much more to get to
- 27:50Speaker 1: all ahead on this edition of Vents. But I got
- 27:53Speaker 1: to say, regardless of news about plagues or anything else,
- 27:55Speaker 1: I sleep very well at night. You know why? Because
- 27:57Speaker 1: I sleep on a Helix mattress. I love the Helix mattress.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Fall is officially here. And there's something about those first
- 28:03Speaker 1: cooler nights that make staying home and getting cozy sound
- 28:05Speaker 1: pretty great, doesn't it? If you're going to spend more
- 28:07Speaker 1: time in bed, you might as well make sure you're
- 28:09Speaker 1: sleeping on the right mattress. This is why I choose Helix.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Since switching to Helix, we've noticed a real difference in
- 28:15Speaker 1: how we sleep, how comfortable we are, how rested we feel.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Our old mattress just wasn't cutting it anymore. Helix feels
- 28:21Speaker 1: like a very serious upgrade when you finally get it.
- 28:24Speaker 1: And what I love is that Helix doesn't believe that
- 28:26Speaker 1: one mattress is the fit for everybody. They offer more
- 28:28Speaker 1: than 20 different models. They have their two-minute sleep quiz online.
- 28:32Speaker 1: It helps match you up to a mattress that's based
- 28:34Speaker 1: on how you actually sleep. Plus, Helix ships free in
- 28:37Speaker 1: the United States and you get a 120-night sleep trial
- 28:40Speaker 1: with seamless returns and exchanges so you can really make
- 28:43Speaker 1: sure it's right for you. Upgrade your sleep. Go to helixsleep.com

- 29:05Speaker 1: they make as well. Ever since they sent these products

- 29:09Speaker 1: sauna blanket because it's great for muscle recovery, detoxification, total
- 29:13Speaker 1: game changer. Nice to have a sauna in the house.
- 29:15Speaker 1: It's easy to use. Just wrap myself up. Let the
- 29:17Speaker 1: infrared heat work as magic. It's great. It helps me relax, rejuvenate.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I feel great. Allison loves her red light face mask.
- 29:25Speaker 1: It's very impressive. She uses it because red light therapy works.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Her skin's texture is better. It reduces inflammation. She has
- 29:31Speaker 1: seen fantastic results. It's like a mini spa treatment in
- 29:34Speaker 1: our home. So if you're thinking about trying either of

- 29:57Speaker 1: any disease or condition. All right, so what's going on
- 30:02Speaker 1: in Russia? We're on plague watch right now. According to
- 30:07Speaker 1: the media last week, an employee who worked at a
- 30:09Speaker 1: Russian anti-plague institute died. And CNBC reports it was possibly
- 30:15Speaker 1: from an unspecified form of plague. Russia has reportedly quarantined
- 30:20Speaker 1: nearly 200 people in the Irkutsk region, which is located
- 30:24Speaker 1: in eastern Siberia, according to local news reports. But there's
- 30:27Speaker 1: been a lot of mystery since then. What's going on?
- 30:30Speaker 1: Is it actually the plague? Is this something that's been
- 30:32Speaker 1: genetically engineered? Yesterday, the CDC released a statement on the subject.
- 30:37Speaker 1: They said they're aware of and closely monitoring the reports
- 30:40Speaker 1: of a suspected case of pneumonic plague, pneumonic plague in
- 30:44Speaker 1: the Irkutsk region of Russia. The summary here is they say, look,
- 30:48Speaker 1: it can spread person to person and it can be
- 30:52Speaker 1: treated with antibiotics if you get to it early. But
- 30:55Speaker 1: at this time, there's no indication of a broader threat
- 30:57Speaker 1: to the United States. The CDC and our interagency partners
- 31:00Speaker 1: are prepared and will continue to monitor the situation closely.
- 31:04Speaker 1: And the president of the United States himself said that
- 31:08Speaker 1: he is tracking all of this. Here he is, cut 12,
- 31:11Speaker 1: saying he is going to be speaking to Vladimir Putin
- 31:13Speaker 1: about the subject and is likely to give us a
- 31:16Speaker 1: big update. Today, Wednesday, here's Cut 12, the president.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I have a call scheduled.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Very soon.
- 31:21Speaker 4: So far, we're in very deep discussions.
- 31:23Speaker 1: We'll be able to report about it probably tomorrow. All right,
- 31:38Speaker 1: a big update expected from the President of the United
- 31:41Speaker 1: States and his team today. For more on what to
- 31:43Speaker 1: make of all of this, we turn now to an
- 31:45Speaker 1: expert guest on the subject, Dr. Robert Redfield. He's the
- 31:48Speaker 1: former director of the CDC, a senior visiting fellow at
- 31:52Speaker 1: the Heritage Foundation, and the author of Redfield's Warning, What
- 31:55Speaker 1: I Learned But Couldn't Tell You Might Save Your Life.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Dr.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Redfield, great to have you back on the show, sir.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks for having me, Vince.
- 32:03Speaker 1: What is this, do you think?
- 32:06Speaker 3: You know, I think... I'm not sure. I will say
- 32:10Speaker 3: the most important thing, and the president's going to try
- 32:12Speaker 3: to do this today, I think, is we need transparency
- 32:15Speaker 3: for the Russians to tell us what's really going on.
- 32:18Speaker 3: What's been reported is a 27-year-old woman who worked in
- 32:22Speaker 3: the laboratory has died from what is presumptively a pneumonic plague.
- 32:29Speaker 3: I have a little skepticism there for a couple reasons.
- 32:33Speaker 3: One is if she was working in a plague laboratory,
- 32:36Speaker 3: which she was, If this was regular wild-type plague, she
- 32:43Speaker 3: should have done fine as long as she was treated
- 32:45Speaker 3: with antibiotics within 24 to 48 hours. The fact that
- 32:50Speaker 3: she died suggests to me that either it wasn't plague
- 32:55Speaker 3: and something else that we don't know, or if it
- 32:57Speaker 3: was plague, it wasn't wild-type plague, it was manipulated plague.
- 33:01Speaker 3: One thing the Russians have been doing as part of
- 33:04Speaker 3: their bio... warfare program is they've been taking plague and
- 33:09Speaker 3: anthrax and they've been modifying it to change the susceptibility
- 33:15Speaker 3: of the organism to different antibiotics so that when you
- 33:18Speaker 3: treat with the antibiotic that you think should work, it
- 33:20Speaker 3: doesn't work. So I'm concerned that this is a manipulated agent, pathogen.
- 33:29Speaker 3: It's not just simple wild-type plague.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Well, common sense would dictate that if you worked in
- 33:35Speaker 1: an anti-plague lab and there was some sort of accident
- 33:38Speaker 1: and then you started developing symptoms, that you would very
- 33:41Speaker 1: rapidly get antibiotics, wouldn't you? I mean, theoretically, you would
- 33:44Speaker 1: know that your susceptibility and you would immediately rush for
- 33:48Speaker 1: medical treatment.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Well, that's one red flag. The other red flag that
- 33:51Speaker 3: I've learned in these situations is not the event of
- 33:54Speaker 3: the the patient, the case, you know, the index case,
- 33:58Speaker 3: but what's the response? And the Russian response to this also,
- 34:03Speaker 3: from my point of view, is problematic because pneumonic plague,
- 34:08Speaker 3: you know, is not very transmissible. The last human-to-human pneumonic
- 34:13Speaker 3: plague transmission we had in the United States was in 1924.
- 34:16Speaker 3: It's a very poorly transmissible pathogen. And so when you
- 34:23Speaker 3: see their response was they quarantined 200 people, they shut
- 34:27Speaker 3: down five hospitals, that's not a proportional response to plague. Now,
- 34:34Speaker 3: it could be a proportional response to a gain-of-function engineered
- 34:38Speaker 3: plague that's been manipulated to be more transmissible or more
- 34:44Speaker 3: deadly in terms of no longer having the countermeasures, but
- 34:48Speaker 3: it's really not a It doesn't sound like a response
- 34:52Speaker 3: you would have from wild type plague. So I'm a skeptic,
- 34:55Speaker 3: and I'm glad that the president is going to try
- 34:58Speaker 3: to get Putin to be more transparent. They clearly know
- 35:03Speaker 3: what this young lady had, okay? And she got infected,
- 35:06Speaker 3: I think, to September 25th. She died on the 2nd
- 35:08Speaker 3: of October. This is not a, if it's plague, it's
- 35:11Speaker 3: a very simple diagnosis to confirm. So I'm sure they
- 35:15Speaker 3: know exactly what she died of. And recently, you know,
- 35:18Speaker 3: there's one of the hospitals just announced a second case.
- 35:22Speaker 3: So it's, you know, I think we really need to
- 35:27Speaker 3: get just transparency and honesty about what's going on.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Yeah, big time. So the president's seeking that. I saw
- 35:33Speaker 1: the Wall Street Journal report that the United States has
- 35:35Speaker 1: actually warned Moscow that their failure to disclose details about
- 35:40Speaker 1: all of this. runs counter to international health obligations. So
- 35:45Speaker 1: they're putting some pressure on Russia here to be more transparent.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Dr.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Redfield, I've noticed it seems like a lot of these
- 35:52Speaker 1: sort of these atypical diseases that end up, you know,
- 35:56Speaker 1: spilling out in the public. There's a history that a
- 35:58Speaker 1: lot of these actually spill out of government research laboratories,
- 36:00Speaker 1: don't they?
- 36:02Speaker 3: I do think there's, you know, we have to realize
- 36:04Speaker 3: that's the other point to emphasize. This emphasizes the the
- 36:07Speaker 3: issue of biosafety in these laboratories. And I will say,
- 36:11Speaker 3: I can tell you, unfortunately, the biosafety that we have
- 36:14Speaker 3: in these laboratories around the world, including our own in
- 36:17Speaker 3: the United States, is just not adequate. And so we
- 36:21Speaker 3: constantly do have episodes of pathogens that escape from laboratories
- 36:26Speaker 3: and then cause serious disease. Clearly, you know, that's my
- 36:28Speaker 3: point of view on COVID. It was a lab leak
- 36:32Speaker 3: from the Wuhan lab. It didn't come from any wet market.
- 36:35Speaker 3: And so this is a serious issue. And the other
- 36:38Speaker 3: part that I think is worth emphasizing is I really
- 36:41Speaker 3: do think it's dangerous and not wise to do gain-of-function
- 36:47Speaker 3: research where we intentionally try to teach pathogens how to
- 36:49Speaker 3: be more pathogenic or more transmissible. I wrote an op-ed
- 36:53Speaker 3: in the Wall Street Journal really asking for a moratorium
- 36:56Speaker 3: on gain-of-function research. So those are two different points to
- 37:01Speaker 3: reflect on. as we try to deal with what this is.
- 37:07Speaker 3: I don't think it poses any immediate threat, per se, obviously,
- 37:12Speaker 3: to the United States. But, you know, until we know
- 37:15Speaker 3: exactly what it is, it's hard to really, you know,
- 37:19Speaker 3: prepare for what may need to be prepared for.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Yeah, no, definitely. But, you know, I see this, you know,
- 37:26Speaker 1: gain-of-function research, it strikes me that there's two reasons for this.
- 37:29Speaker 1: And I think this is why they call it dual use.
- 37:30Speaker 1: One is supposedly to derive a health benefit. from it that, oh,
- 37:34Speaker 1: we'll be able to study viruses so we can learn
- 37:36Speaker 1: how they develop. But the other side of it is
- 37:39Speaker 1: there are governments that are using this to create bioweapons,
- 37:42Speaker 1: that actively using this as a part of a weapons program.
- 37:45Speaker 1: And there's a lot of peril that comes with that.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I think, you know, I think it's, I think we're,
- 37:51Speaker 3: science is at a state today that we can figure
- 37:53Speaker 3: out pretty quickly how to counter, develop countermeasures to new pathogens,
- 37:57Speaker 3: that we don't have to create those pathogens and make
- 38:00Speaker 3: them more pathogenic to do that. But you are right.
- 38:03Speaker 3: I mean, Russia has a significant biodefense, biooffense program. And,
- 38:09Speaker 3: you know, our own country has a significant biodefense program.
- 38:14Speaker 3: I've told people that I really do believe that biosecurity,
- 38:18Speaker 3: you mentioned I'm a senior fellow, a visiting fellow at
- 38:21Speaker 3: Heritage Foundation for Biosecurity and Public Health Policy. I actually
- 38:25Speaker 3: think biosecurity has the greatest potential to change the way
- 38:30Speaker 3: of life in America, much more than nuclear. I mean,
- 38:33Speaker 3: everyone gets worried about nuclear, but I will tell you
- 38:37Speaker 3: the biological agents, as you saw with COVID, which I
- 38:41Speaker 3: considered to be a minor pandemic, but it did kill
- 38:44Speaker 3: over 1.2 million people, over probably 15, 20 million in
- 38:47Speaker 3: the world. And it did cost our, we estimate that
- 38:50Speaker 3: it costed our country about $ 9 trillion. And I call
- 38:57Speaker 3: that a minor pandemic. The major pandemic I think is coming.
- 39:00Speaker 3: It's a bird flu pandemic. It's going to be catastrophic.
- 39:02Speaker 3: We're not prepared. So we do need to take these things,
- 39:06Speaker 3: you know, quite, quite, quite seriously. And that biosecurity is something,
- 39:12Speaker 3: you know, people ask me, are we prepared?
- 39:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:15Speaker 3: We're less prepared today than we were when we had COVID.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Well, I mean, but part of this is like nobody
- 39:19Speaker 1: trusts the government anymore.
- 39:21Speaker 3: That's it. That's the number one reason.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Because the government funded the creation of COVID to begin with,
- 39:28Speaker 1: and then it gets released, and then then you talk
- 39:31Speaker 1: about the deaths that ensued, but also it was a
- 39:34Speaker 1: massive clampdown on liberty in the United States.
- 39:37Speaker 3: There was a terrible government overreach, and you're exactly right.
- 39:40Speaker 3: I tell people the biggest price we paid from COVID
- 39:44Speaker 3: was is the loss of public trust in public health institutions.
- 39:49Speaker 3: And we can't have a public health response to the
- 39:52Speaker 3: next pandemic if we don't have public trust. And so
- 39:55Speaker 3: this is, it's important that we all try to begin
- 39:58Speaker 3: to rebuild public trust. One of the best ways to
- 40:02Speaker 3: do that is to be honest and transparent about what
- 40:05Speaker 3: we know and what we don't know. I know one
- 40:06Speaker 3: of my common answers when I was CDC director, people
- 40:09Speaker 3: got upset with me was, I said, well, I don't
- 40:12Speaker 3: know the answer. And they said, what do you mean?
- 40:14Speaker 3: You can't say you don't know the answer. You're the
- 40:15Speaker 3: CDC director. What's the answer? I don't know the answer.
- 40:19Speaker 3: And I think there was way too much government overreach
- 40:22Speaker 3: where people gave answers in a definitive way that they
- 40:27Speaker 3: didn't know. They just made them up.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Yes.
- 40:30Speaker 3: And that really then lost public trust. I mean, mandating
- 40:33Speaker 3: the vaccine, big mistake. Mandating masks, big mistake. Closing schools,
- 40:37Speaker 3: big mistake. Shutting down businesses, big mistake.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Right.
- 40:40Speaker 3: There were so many big mistakes made by government overreach
- 40:44Speaker 3: that the public has said, wait a minute, we don't
- 40:47Speaker 3: trust you guys.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Yes. Well, I mean, even in this conversation, you've admitted
- 40:50Speaker 1: you don't know exactly what's happening in Russia. You're not
- 40:52Speaker 1: pretending you know what's going on. And you are among
- 40:56Speaker 1: a group of people who I think during COVID kind
- 40:59Speaker 1: of stood out, like Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, Dr. Marty McCary.
- 41:02Speaker 1: I mean, Dr. Scott Atlas, people who would step forward
- 41:05Speaker 1: and say, you know what? I don't actually know for certain,
- 41:08Speaker 1: but here's what we're learning from all across the planet.
- 41:11Speaker 1: And your voices were shut down by people like Anthony
- 41:14Speaker 1: Fauci and company who said, stay out of the conversation.
- 41:17Speaker 1: We don't need you revealing that science is a journey.
- 41:22Speaker 1: We don't need you revealing that this involves like, you know,
- 41:25Speaker 1: actual inquiry. We just need to tell people what's going
- 41:28Speaker 1: on and whether we know it or not.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I think unfortunately there's a lot of truth to that.
- 41:33Speaker 3: I was hopeful that Tony Fauci on his hearing where
- 41:36Speaker 3: he took the fifth would have actually apologized to Rand
- 41:39Speaker 3: Paul for being a little over the top. in his
- 41:41Speaker 3: previous hearings, and then apologized to the American people that
- 41:44Speaker 3: were harmed by COVID policies that he influenced. But tell
- 41:48Speaker 3: the American people he did them because they thought they
- 41:50Speaker 3: were in the best interest. But in retrospect, they were
- 41:53Speaker 3: not optimal. They were not, as you mentioned, my book.
- 41:56Speaker 3: If you read my book, and I encourage your readers
- 41:58Speaker 3: to read it, that if you read my book, in
- 42:01Speaker 3: every chapter, you're going to hear something like, well, we
- 42:03Speaker 3: got that wrong. In retrospect, that was wrong. This is
- 42:07Speaker 3: what we thought, but in retrospect, that was wrong. So,
- 42:10Speaker 3: I mean, you've got to just be honest with people and,
- 42:13Speaker 3: you know, you do the best you can. And, you know,
- 42:17Speaker 3: you don't obviously always make the optimal recommendations and decisions.
- 42:22Speaker 3: And in COVID, clearly it was one miscalculation after another.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Humility is an essential ingredient to integrity.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Dr.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Robert Redfield, thank you very much. Appreciate your expert assessment
- 42:36Speaker 1: on what the heck's going on. And people can get
- 42:38Speaker 1: a hold of Dr. Redfield's book, again, that book is
- 42:44Speaker 1: Redfield's Warning, What I Learned But Couldn't Tell You Might
- 42:46Speaker 1: Save Your Life. Thank you, sir.
- 42:48Speaker 3: Yeah, God bless you.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Take care. There he is, Dr. Robert Redfield with an update.
- 42:53Speaker 1: So we'll see, you know, the president is promising an
- 42:55Speaker 1: update on this subject today. By the time you hear
- 42:58Speaker 1: this podcast, if you're listening in a recorded capacity, you
- 43:01Speaker 1: may have the answer to this, but he's placing pressure
- 43:04Speaker 1: on Vladimir Putin to give us some answers here. But
- 43:07Speaker 1: as I mentioned to Dr. Robert Redfield, you know, a
- 43:08Speaker 1: lot of this How many times have we seen some
- 43:12Speaker 1: sort of novel disease running around and they're like, where
- 43:14Speaker 1: the hell did that come from? And it turns out
- 43:16Speaker 1: pretty frequently it comes from some government lab, whether it's
- 43:19Speaker 1: in the United States, a lab leak, or some foreign country.
- 43:22Speaker 1: These are not expressions typically, in many cases, of nature,
- 43:27Speaker 1: just like, oh, this popped up in nature. No, humans
- 43:29Speaker 1: are constantly creating chaos in humanity. And so people are
- 43:34Speaker 1: on guard for that. But having said that, man, I
- 43:36Speaker 1: tell you, the trust in government, rock bottom. I can
- 43:39Speaker 1: see it in this chat, and you're right. You're totally
- 43:41Speaker 1: right about that. We don't have trust because so many
- 43:44Speaker 1: people have violated the public trust. It's really a tragedy.
- 43:49Speaker 1: All right, let's see. We've got a lot of other
- 43:51Speaker 1: things to get to today. I do have a fascinating
- 43:57Speaker 1: development yesterday that's actually historic. It's wonderful. The President of
- 44:01Speaker 1: the United States goes to Baltimore yesterday to announce the
- 44:06Speaker 1: creation of a new shipyard in order to generate submarines,
- 44:11Speaker 1: in order to make submarines. This will be the biggest
- 44:13Speaker 1: shipyard development since World War II for the United States Navy,
- 44:19Speaker 1: which is just wonderful. Here's the president of the United
- 44:23Speaker 1: States making the announcement yesterday in Baltimore. Cut eight. Check
- 44:28Speaker 1: this out.
- 44:29Speaker 4: Today, we're officially launching the construction of the largest new
- 44:33Speaker 4: shipyard in the United States. This is since World War II.
- 44:38Speaker 4: There's been nothing like what we're doing today. The workers
- 44:41Speaker 4: of Baltimore and the shipyard here at Sparrows Point have
- 44:45Speaker 4: been a vital part of the American industrial strength for
- 44:49Speaker 4: literally over 100 years. And along these very shores, American
- 44:53Speaker 4: tradesmen built one of the first frigates in the U.S. Navy.
- 44:58Speaker 4: the steel that built the Empire State Building and the
- 45:01Speaker 4: Golden Gate Bridge. And this is where the patriots of
- 45:04Speaker 4: Baltimore built the first-ever Liberty Ship in the Second World War.
- 45:10Speaker 4: There's a tremendous history. I flew over it just now. And, boy,
- 45:13Speaker 4: it's a great piece of being a real estate developer initially.
- 45:18Speaker 4: Always have. I said, that's a nice piece of real estate.
- 45:21Speaker 4: And it's big. This is going to be some big yard.
- 45:24Speaker 4: When I came into office for my second term, Less
- 45:28Speaker 4: than two years ago, this national treasure was abandoned and
- 45:32Speaker 4: it was totally forgotten, but it's not forgotten any longer.
- 45:38Speaker 4: In a tremendous victory for our country and for the
- 45:41Speaker 4: city of Baltimore, Onderil is investing $ 3. 7 billion in a
- 45:46Speaker 4: state-of-the-art shipyard that will be known forever as Arsenal 2.
- 45:50Speaker 4: It's one of the most— one of the biggest and
- 45:54Speaker 4: one of the most significant shipyards, I think, soon. Very soon,
- 45:58Speaker 4: we'll be anywhere in the world will be as significant
- 46:01Speaker 4: as any. That's what we're looking for. Right here in
- 46:04Speaker 4: Sparrows Point, you'll build the next generation of American submarines,
- 46:08Speaker 4: including autonomous subs, torpedo tubes, and critical components for our
- 46:14Speaker 4: cutting-edge Virginia-class attack submarines, the greatest and quietest ever built.
- 46:20Speaker 4: And thanks to record funding from my administration, the Republicans
- 46:24Speaker 4: in Congress, the U.S. Navy is also contributing an additional $ 2. 9
- 46:29Speaker 4: billion to support the shipyard, with the possibility of, ultimately,
- 46:35Speaker 4: together with a lot of great patriots, $ 21 billion in
- 46:39Speaker 4: future purchases. This is going to be a big component
- 46:43Speaker 4: for our future military. This massive project will create over 3,100
- 46:49Speaker 4: new jobs right here in Maryland and will support an
- 46:53Speaker 4: additional 11,000 jobs across the nation.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Amazing. Absolutely amazing. So a program that generates around 14,000 jobs.
- 47:02Speaker 1: You just heard the president lay that out. It includes
- 47:05Speaker 1: those big dollar figures. The United States Navy, the taxpayers,
- 47:09Speaker 1: are awarding a $ 2. 9 billion contract to this defense contractor, Andrel.
- 47:14Speaker 1: And Andrew is going to be putting in $ 3. 7 billion
- 47:18Speaker 1: of their money into developing this shipyard. Now, this is
- 47:23Speaker 1: a critical element of America's defense base because what we're
- 47:28Speaker 1: going to be doing here at this place called Arsenal 2,
- 47:32Speaker 1: that's the name of the shipyard, is they're going to
- 47:34Speaker 1: be developing these nuclear-powered attack submarines. This is the Virginia
- 47:38Speaker 1: class of submarines. Again, a lot of jobs here and
- 47:43Speaker 1: the military of the future that they're building. And this company, Andrel,
- 47:48Speaker 1: is led by a guy by the name of Palmer Luckey.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Maybe you've heard this guy's name or seen him before.
- 47:53Speaker 1: He's the dude who wears all the Aloha shirts, kind
- 47:56Speaker 1: of has a mullet, and loves America, it turns out.
- 47:59Speaker 1: He loves America. I can't tell you how many interviews
- 48:01Speaker 1: I've seen with this guy where he's talking about, no,
- 48:03Speaker 1: we shouldn't be importing immigrant workers, handing out H-1B visas.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Or any of that.
- 48:08Speaker 1: We should be hiring Americans. We should be pro-America. That's
- 48:13Speaker 1: his attitude, which I love. And he's got a lot
- 48:17Speaker 1: of this incredible technology that he's developed. In fact, he's
- 48:21Speaker 1: the guy who came up with the Oculus virtual reality
- 48:25Speaker 1: goggles many years ago, and then Facebook bought Oculus from him.
- 48:31Speaker 1: So just to give you a sign of the trend
- 48:33Speaker 1: that he's been on. And just last week, The Trump
- 48:36Speaker 1: administration announced, Secretary of War Pete Hegsteth announced that Palmer Luckey, again,
- 48:40Speaker 1: the CEO of Andril, as well as Elon Musk and
- 48:43Speaker 1: Newt Gingrich are part of a three-man team that are
- 48:47Speaker 1: going to be working at the Pentagon, with the Pentagon,
- 48:50Speaker 1: on the future of warfare. That these guys are basically
- 48:53Speaker 1: these tech visionaries alongside Newt Gingrich, who's always had kind
- 48:58Speaker 1: of a big-picture view of the world and America's role
- 49:00Speaker 1: in it, are all working together on the future of
- 49:02Speaker 1: American warfare. to, of course, protect our country and exert
- 49:07Speaker 1: power when necessary. And so they're building this awesome Navy
- 49:11Speaker 1: shipyard now, which is something that quite a few people
- 49:14Speaker 1: who voted for Trump now multiple times have been seeking,
- 49:18Speaker 1: the restoration of American sea power and these shipyards that
- 49:23Speaker 1: develop these important Navy ships, in this case, submarines. And
- 49:28Speaker 1: in fact, I've got video here. This comes to us.
- 49:30Speaker 1: It's a rendering from Anduril. This is Palmer Luckey's company.
- 49:35Speaker 1: And this is a cool rendering of what the shipyard
- 49:38Speaker 1: is going to look like Now, obviously, it's a rendering,
- 49:42Speaker 1: so it looks almost like a Hollywood movie, the way
- 49:44Speaker 1: they've presented it. It's cool. Watch this. Cut down. All
- 49:58Speaker 1: the robotics. All the components of the submarines being built.
- 50:10Speaker 1: There's a submarine being assembled. Subs are cool, man.
- 50:16Speaker 3: Very cool.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Awesome technology. You know, when I went out to Hawaii
- 50:28Speaker 1: earlier this year and we stopped by Pearl Harbor, we
- 50:31Speaker 1: were taking a tour of the harbor, seeing all the
- 50:33Speaker 1: various historic sites, the Missouri, the Arizona. But while we
- 50:38Speaker 1: were on board the tour boat that was taking us around,
- 50:41Speaker 1: the United States Navy was taking us around that area,
- 50:45Speaker 1: we were on the way out. And at one point,
- 50:47Speaker 1: the sailors who were on board with us said, okay, hey,
- 50:50Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, we ask you to not take any
- 50:53Speaker 1: photos for the next few minutes. A submarine is arriving,
- 50:58Speaker 1: and they just don't want any photos of this nuclear
- 51:01Speaker 1: submarine coming into Pearl Harbor. So we all dropped our
- 51:04Speaker 1: phones and pocketed them. And I'm watching as this sub
- 51:07Speaker 1: is coming in. It's an amazing sight, this massive, massive
- 51:12Speaker 1: ship coming in. It's at the surface. You've got the
- 51:15Speaker 1: crew standing on top of the submarine as they come in.
- 51:18Speaker 1: We're waving at them. They're waving back. It was so cool.
- 51:21Speaker 1: It was so cool to see. And now we're going
- 51:23Speaker 1: to build a lot more of them. That's the president's announcement.
- 51:27Speaker 1: A big win for the United States Navy, which means
- 51:29Speaker 1: it's a big win for the United States of America
- 51:32Speaker 1: and all of the jobs that ensue from that as well,
- 51:34Speaker 1: which is which is really cool to see. So an
- 51:36Speaker 1: historic announcement yesterday, truly historic announcement yesterday by the president
- 51:39Speaker 1: of the United States. Now, what is the left saying
- 51:42Speaker 1: about all of this? They're mad. They're ticked off. You
- 51:47Speaker 1: know who's ticked off? The Democrat governor of Maryland, Wes Moore. Now,
- 51:54Speaker 1: Wes Moore, the governor, because he's the governor of the state,
- 51:56Speaker 1: he was invited to attend this yesterday. Yeah, you're welcome.
- 52:00Speaker 1: Come on in. Come be at the event. Don't you
- 52:03Speaker 1: think this is great? A bunch of jobs are being
- 52:04Speaker 1: added to your state. You've got these great Navy submarines
- 52:08Speaker 1: that are going to be built, cutting edge, like state-of-the-art technology.
- 52:12Speaker 1: So shouldn't the governor of Maryland actually be in attendance?
- 52:17Speaker 1: But he decided to throw a tantrum yesterday. He was
- 52:22Speaker 1: upset about this because he didn't want Donald Trump, the
- 52:26Speaker 1: president of the United States, to get all of the credit.
- 52:30Speaker 1: for building Navy submarines in Maryland, you had the governor
- 52:36Speaker 1: of Maryland demanding a speaking role to attend. The Democrat
- 52:42Speaker 1: governor of Maryland, his position was, I'm only attending if
- 52:46Speaker 1: I get a chance to give a big speech. I'm like, no,
- 52:50Speaker 1: you're not speaking. You can come if you want. That's
- 52:52Speaker 1: the invitation. You can come and support the people of
- 52:55Speaker 1: Maryland or not. What's your choice? And he said, well,
- 52:58Speaker 1: then I'm not coming. Okay, then. You don't get to come.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Here he is yesterday bitching and moaning about it. Cut 11.
- 53:04Speaker 1: Watch this.
- 53:05Speaker 2: We have been working with them for over a year
- 53:08Speaker 2: to bring them on board. And we're excited about what
- 53:11Speaker 2: it's going to mean to the area. But if the
- 53:13Speaker 2: president of the United States wants to bring the circus
- 53:16Speaker 2: into town and tell me that I'm not allowed to
- 53:19Speaker 2: speak to the fact that we were the ones that
- 53:20Speaker 2: helped bring the deal, then I will let the circus
- 53:22Speaker 2: be conducted while I go back to the work of
- 53:24Speaker 2: the people of Maryland.
- 53:27Speaker 1: He's such a whiny little baby. I want to speak.
- 53:30Speaker 1: I want to speak. No, dude, you were invited to
- 53:33Speaker 1: attend as the governor of Maryland. Were we going to
- 53:36Speaker 1: let every idiot speak?
- 53:37Speaker 4: No.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Just attend it, dude. And I don't get a speaking role.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I'm not showing up. All right, fine. We don't need you.
- 53:43Speaker 1: We don't need you to create good news for the
- 53:46Speaker 1: state of Maryland, it turns out, which should be an
- 53:49Speaker 1: eye-opening experience for Marylanders who should go, wait a second,
- 53:53Speaker 1: we don't even need the government? in order to achieve
- 53:55Speaker 1: something good for the governor, rather, in order to achieve
- 53:57Speaker 1: something good for the state, maybe we should get rid
- 53:59Speaker 1: of the Democrat leadership. What have Democrats done for Maryland
- 54:02Speaker 1: other than make it more miserable? Is Baltimore a better
- 54:05Speaker 1: place because of Democrat governance? Or has it been turned
- 54:08Speaker 1: into a hellhole because of Democrats? You know the answer
- 54:10Speaker 1: to that question. It's ridiculous. I want credit. No, you
- 54:14Speaker 1: don't get any. You were invited to come. You turned
- 54:18Speaker 1: down the invitation. Too bad. You lose.
- 54:21Speaker 3: You lose.
- 54:23Speaker 1: All right, one more thing for you before we duck
- 54:26Speaker 1: out today. We've got, I've got, do you want some
- 54:28Speaker 1: good news? Can I, should I, can I, I will do,
- 54:30Speaker 1: we'll do bad news, good news. We'll do bad news,
- 54:32Speaker 1: good news. This is about America's immigration situation. Here's the
- 54:35Speaker 1: bad news. During the Biden era, things really sucked. And
- 54:38Speaker 1: you know that already, but we've got some more math
- 54:40Speaker 1: for this. Bill Malusion says that the Department of Homeland
- 54:43Speaker 1: Security just put out a big inspector general report yesterday
- 54:46Speaker 1: that found that the visa overstay problem That is illegal immigration.
- 54:51Speaker 1: People who come to the United States say they're going
- 54:52Speaker 1: to stay here temporarily and then they stay beyond that permission.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Then they're here illegally. That's illegal immigration into the country.
- 55:00Speaker 1: That was so massive and the Biden administration did absolutely
- 55:03Speaker 1: nothing to stop it. In fact, they aided and abetted it.
- 55:07Speaker 1: ICE received over 3.1 million visa overstay leads, roughly 104,000
- 55:14Speaker 1: of which were flagged for public safety or national security concerns.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Got that? So 3.1 million people that they were aware
- 55:22Speaker 1: were breaking our laws, had invaded our country, and they
- 55:25Speaker 1: identified just over 100,000 of them as national security threats.
- 55:30Speaker 1: They only arrested eight people.
- 55:34Speaker 2: Eight. Eight.
- 55:36Speaker 1: I can do that with my fingers. Eight people.
- 55:39Speaker 3: Eight.
- 55:39Speaker 1: That's it. Everybody else got to stay. Eight people, eight
- 55:43Speaker 1: freaking people were arrested. 3.1 million visa overstays. Not people
- 55:49Speaker 1: coming across the border illegally. People straight up welcomed into
- 55:53Speaker 1: the country by the Biden administration. Then they overstayed their
- 55:56Speaker 1: visas and the Biden people say, okay, you can stay.
- 55:58Speaker 1: A September 2021 Mayorkas policy memo led to all of this.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Alejandro Mayorkas did this. He said, yeah, I'll only go
- 56:06Speaker 1: after so-called priority one leads, which are the highest threat
- 56:09Speaker 1: to public safety. So those priority one leads, there was
- 56:14Speaker 1: only 1,769 of those in this group of over 3 million.
- 56:19Speaker 1: They only arrested two, two people, two people. I'm just
- 56:26Speaker 1: putting math to the betrayal. I know you know we've
- 56:29Speaker 1: been invaded. We have the numbers now here, courtesy of
- 56:33Speaker 1: the Department of Homeland Security. The majority of the more
- 56:36Speaker 1: than 3 million overstay leads were deemed non-ICE priority, non-priority
- 56:42Speaker 1: by ICE. There were just five investigations, two arrests, And
- 56:49Speaker 1: then another huge piece of this report, which is really disgusting.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Bill says it's shocking. I would say it's not shocking,
- 56:55Speaker 1: but it is appalling. Visa overstays skyrocketed into Biden's second
- 57:01Speaker 1: year in office. So in the first year of Biden
- 57:04Speaker 1: in office, 171,000 visa overstays. By the second year, 800,000
- 57:07Speaker 1: visa overstays. That was a 364% increase. As the message
- 57:20Speaker 1: got out to planet Earth that you could invade the
- 57:23Speaker 1: United States of America, you're never gonna be asked to leave.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Nobody's gonna hunt you down to get rid of you.
- 57:29Speaker 1: That was the message. And so I just wanna really
- 57:32Speaker 1: emphasize something here. As the left whines about President Trump
- 57:37Speaker 1: deploying ICE agents to fix this problem, and then blames
- 57:42Speaker 1: Donald Trump. Oh, you're being too hard on all of
- 57:45Speaker 1: these illegals. You know, this problem wouldn't exist were it
- 57:48Speaker 1: not for Biden. This problem would not exist were it
- 57:51Speaker 1: not for Alejandro Mayorkas. We wouldn't have this problem if
- 57:55Speaker 1: it wasn't for the Democrats. So if you're going to
- 57:57Speaker 1: blame anybody for the fact that somebody's got to be
- 57:59Speaker 1: heave-ho directly out of the country, blame the Democrats who
- 58:03Speaker 1: dropped them in here in the first place. It's their
- 58:06Speaker 1: fault that we have to clean up this mess. But
- 58:09Speaker 1: we'll clean it up. We voted to clean it up,
- 58:12Speaker 1: and that's what President Trump is doing. In fact, that
- 58:15Speaker 1: was the bad news. Now, here's the good news. You
- 58:17Speaker 1: ready for this? I saw a report this morning. The
- 58:20Speaker 1: Hill is a little upset about this. Check this headline out.
- 58:24Speaker 1: DOJ files record number of cases to strip Americans of citizenship. Now,
- 58:30Speaker 1: I want you to think about that headline for a moment.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Is it possible, if you're born in the United States
- 58:35Speaker 1: of America, to American parents, you are an American citizen,
- 58:38Speaker 1: Is it possible for the United States to, quote, strip
- 58:41Speaker 1: you of citizenship?
- 58:43Speaker 2: No.
- 58:44Speaker 1: No, that's not how this works. No, they're stripping immigrants
- 58:49Speaker 1: who are breaking our nation's laws of the claim that
- 58:53Speaker 1: they are Americans. They're denaturalizing criminal immigrants at record rates.
- 59:01Speaker 1: That's the real story here. The Department of Justice has
- 59:04Speaker 1: filed a record number of cases to strip Americans of citizenship,
- 59:09Speaker 1: the Department said Monday, The Hill reports. In a Monday
- 59:12Speaker 1: press release, the department said it filed denaturalization actions targeting
- 59:15Speaker 1: 40 people accused of serious offenses. Oh, what kind of offenses?
- 59:20Speaker 1: What are people being denaturalized over? Let's see. Acting as
- 59:24Speaker 1: an agent for a foreign government, and committing voluntary manslaughter,
- 59:30Speaker 1: those are the offenses, some of the offenses. Okay, get
- 59:34Speaker 1: the hell out of our country. No, you're not American.
- 59:37Speaker 1: And no, whatever claim to that title you have made,
- 59:41Speaker 1: we're taking it away. Goodbye. So the Trump administration is
- 59:46Speaker 1: denaturalizing people at record rates. Again, denaturalizing criminal immigrants. That's
- 59:55Speaker 1: the accurate way to portray this. not going after random
- 59:58Speaker 1: Americans and giving them the boot, which is, of course,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: what the left is trying to convince voters is going on.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: That's a lie. That's just a lie. Holy cow. All right,
