- 0:49Speaker 2: Jeff g both out. They will be back Monday. Everybody
- 0:52Speaker 2: else is in the room. On August the six, which
- 0:56Speaker 2: is today, it's a Balloons to Heaven Day. Disapprove you
- 1:02Speaker 2: and your balloons at a funeral? And oh you're going
- 1:05Speaker 2: on your memory by killing animals.
- 1:07Speaker 3: F you, it's a celebration of life.
- 1:09Speaker 2: It sucks.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Stop it now, Greg, You say that Balloons to Heaven
- 1:14Speaker 3: Day honors the countless lives lost to gun violence.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks, It could be poignant, but leave your balloons
- 1:23Speaker 2: on the ground, you a.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Shea's The only way you could do it is by
- 1:26Speaker 3: littering exactly.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Today's Heroshima Day. Do you know why? Menace?
- 1:31Speaker 3: Because they drop bombs.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Hashima on this day in nineteen forty five and Nola
- 1:37Speaker 2: Gay dropped the atomic bomb. Nola who a Nola Gay?
- 1:41Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:43Speaker 2: National I PA Day today. It's also National root Beer
- 1:46Speaker 2: Float Day, and it's National Fresh Breath Day. Yes, that's
- 1:51Speaker 2: for you men. Yeah.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Oh, and speaking about your mouth, and do you have
- 1:55Speaker 4: a question now, SeaBASS, you have indicated that you might
- 1:59Speaker 4: have been joined myself and Sammy in this journey, but
- 2:04Speaker 4: now you.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Please confirm or deny do you have the visil line.
- 2:08Speaker 3: So uh we this was not planned, This was not
- 2:11Speaker 3: coordinated in any way, but the three Oh, Sammy, Menace
- 2:15Speaker 3: and myself all within like a week of each other,
- 2:17Speaker 3: decided to get in Visiligne. And by the way, I
- 2:21Speaker 3: planned this two months. I had that when it happens,
- 2:23Speaker 3: there's no way I would have known who because I
- 2:25Speaker 3: had I to go back. This actually goes back like
- 2:28Speaker 3: two years because I was getting a recession on my
- 2:31Speaker 3: gums in my low especially my lower molars, just from
- 2:35Speaker 3: grinding at night. And they said, okay, well, first we're
- 2:37Speaker 3: going to fix your recession by grafting, getting the new
- 2:39Speaker 3: the gum of surgery that I had, which is terrible,
- 2:41Speaker 3: which was not fun. But the only way this is
- 2:44Speaker 3: going to stop from happening again in like ten years
- 2:47Speaker 3: is if you get fixed your alignment. So I had
- 2:49Speaker 3: to have breaks when I was in my teens, not
- 2:51Speaker 3: for six years like Sammy did. Yeah, and so uh
- 2:54Speaker 3: and so yeah, now I had the recession done, I went,
- 2:56Speaker 3: and then the next move was to get the in
- 2:57Speaker 3: visilign to hopefully stop the grinding.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Yeah, because sam and I have been whispering to each other.
- 3:02Speaker 4: I think I think Sea Bass has a visil line.
- 3:04Speaker 4: And then you told me about some tool to remove
- 3:07Speaker 4: my visial lines, like a little meat meat hook to
- 3:09Speaker 4: get the revision. Yeah, because I'm constantly putting it in
- 3:11Speaker 4: and out like keep all morning and then Sammy keeps
- 3:15Speaker 4: it in the entire show.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I don't know how she does that.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Well, I'll take it out to eat and then I
- 3:19Speaker 5: go brush my teeth. You eat stuff and drink stuff
- 3:22Speaker 5: and pop it in and out.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Without Yeah, it's man's what do you expect?
- 3:27Speaker 6: I guess as a fellow grinder. Are they saying it'll
- 3:30Speaker 6: actually fix that or you'll just grind through the visil
- 3:33Speaker 6: line at some point.
- 3:34Speaker 3: No, they're saying that the grinding is because my teeth
- 3:36Speaker 3: are misaligned. And it's not bad either, Like I have
- 3:39Speaker 3: a good teeth. Again, I had braces, but it's just
- 3:41Speaker 3: enough to they say, cause this you know TMJ.
- 3:44Speaker 6: So how long? How long is this supposed to be?
- 3:46Speaker 5: In?
- 3:47Speaker 3: Ten months? Okay, okay.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Now, the other day I looked at Woody and he
- 3:52Speaker 2: I thought maybe had invisil line. Really, yeah, I didn't
- 3:56Speaker 2: want to ask for some reason. I got sidetracked for
- 3:58Speaker 2: something else, and I think it was something. It wasn't
- 4:01Speaker 2: so much the lisp. It was like a weird shine
- 4:05Speaker 2: to the teeth. Yeah, his face looked different, so I
- 4:08Speaker 2: think maybe wood he got it too.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Whoa, We got to get folks who don't know it's
- 4:15Speaker 3: it's not just a essentially a retainer that they they
- 4:20Speaker 3: glue on little blocks ceramic like that. It looked like
- 4:25Speaker 3: the climbing blocks and a climbing wall. Yeah, because the
- 4:27Speaker 3: teeth it has to obviously the retainer has to grip
- 4:29Speaker 3: onto something to move it away from the other stuff.
- 4:31Speaker 3: But I got a low profile one. Oh.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I always thought they just sent them to you and
- 4:34Speaker 2: you did it yourself.
- 4:35Speaker 3: That's what I thought too. It is super easy. They
- 4:38Speaker 3: it just cleaned your teeth. They glew them on. Takes
- 4:40Speaker 3: twenty thirty minutes.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Is it covered by dental insurance?
- 4:43Speaker 3: Mine was partially? Now it's still you're still talking four figures,
- 4:48Speaker 3: but not high four figures.
- 4:49Speaker 6: And where are your little blocks?
- 4:50Speaker 3: Are they in the front, not on the front. They
- 4:52Speaker 3: do that intense because they don't want that's where you're in.
- 4:54Speaker 3: You don't want to put them on your incisors because
- 4:56Speaker 3: you have that's where your your your your biting is
- 4:59Speaker 3: and that's sheer force up against those that are on
- 5:01Speaker 3: the they're on the back, like four or five on
- 5:03Speaker 3: each upper and lower on each side, and they do
- 5:06Speaker 3: if you have braces and you know that, like the
- 5:09Speaker 3: inside your mouth gets all torn up. I had a
- 5:11Speaker 3: little bit of that, but not bad. I went away
- 5:13Speaker 3: pretty quickly. You can always get the dental wax if
- 5:15Speaker 3: you want to.
- 5:16Speaker 2: And can you get them just on the top or
- 5:18Speaker 2: just the bottom, like I want to do it just the.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Bottom, imagine you could, but they usually want to align
- 5:22Speaker 3: it with the top or all right, yeah, that's one
- 5:24Speaker 3: of the reasons I had to get it too, was
- 5:26Speaker 3: the alignment.
- 5:27Speaker 5: As we talked about my jaw pops and I do
- 5:30Speaker 5: the grinding, and they were like, well, this is basically
- 5:32Speaker 5: the first step of it. Hopefully helping the grinding because
- 5:35Speaker 5: like Sea Bass had to do the gum thing. They
- 5:38Speaker 5: told me I was still young enough to kind of
- 5:40Speaker 5: not have to end up there. But if I don't
- 5:42Speaker 5: do something now, I will have to have the same
- 5:44Speaker 5: surgery that Sea Bass has.
- 5:46Speaker 3: I got. The pinhole gum surgery is surgery where they
- 5:51Speaker 3: take they take a meat hook gum, yank it up
- 5:55Speaker 3: and then use bio glue to stick it on your
- 5:57Speaker 3: too and it works. It works. The other way is
- 6:00Speaker 3: they take a they carved, They carve on piece of
- 6:04Speaker 3: the roof of your mouth out, so that's that's a
- 6:07Speaker 3: shot up there. Then they then they suit your that
- 6:10Speaker 3: on or stitch that onto the gum part. So which
- 6:13Speaker 3: do you want, Greg, do you want to or do
- 6:15Speaker 3: you want a piece of your other mouth ripped out?
- 6:17Speaker 2: I want the gum Yankee.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll be like, I'm done, take them all out.
- 6:23Speaker 2: It is so cute that the three of you had
- 6:25Speaker 2: a little meeting.
- 6:26Speaker 3: And basic.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Going to be done with mine pretty quick. Mine's only
- 6:34Speaker 5: three months long. I only have about a month and
- 6:36Speaker 5: a half hockey for you.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:38Speaker 4: I think I have like eight trays, so I have
- 6:41Speaker 4: to change it every two weeks.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I don't know what the mask I have twenty one trays.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah, ten months. So you take them out every
- 6:50Speaker 3: again and they give you a new tray. They give
- 6:53Speaker 3: ball to you in a big box. Yeah, keep tracking, okay,
- 6:55Speaker 3: and every every like eight to ten days, you take one,
- 6:57Speaker 3: put a new one in, and please.
- 6:59Speaker 6: Tell me not just in charge of that, because that
- 7:00Speaker 6: sounds confusing.
- 7:01Speaker 3: You No, got it?
- 7:02Speaker 2: Oh?
- 7:02Speaker 3: Okay. The guy who's eating with his on and.

- 9:22Speaker 4: from noon to two pm. Can't wait to see you there.
- 9:25Speaker 4: In the meantime, enjoy the Woody Show podcast. It is
- 9:34Speaker 4: a brand new hour of The Woody Show. Yeah and
- 9:37Speaker 4: Jeff g are out of town to be back on Monday.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Everybody else is here on a throwback Thursday, and this
- 9:45Speaker 4: is kind of throwback. At my house, I have a
- 9:47Speaker 4: trash compactor and I had the.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Crappiest night last night because I haven't taken my trash
- 9:55Speaker 2: out in so long because I always forget that it
- 9:57Speaker 2: is a trash compactor. So I've been compacting and compacting, compacting,
- 10:01Speaker 2: and I thought this thing rules, I can save on
- 10:04Speaker 2: garbage bags and just compact the hell out of it. Well,
- 10:07Speaker 2: today's garbage day, so I had to take the garbage out,
- 10:09Speaker 2: and I had been compacting it for so damn long.
- 10:12Speaker 2: The bag ripped as I try to take it out,
- 10:14Speaker 2: so I can't get the trash out. So now with
- 10:16Speaker 2: my bare hands, I'm trying to get I don't know,
- 10:18Speaker 2: three weeks of garbage out of there. The bag explodes,
- 10:22Speaker 2: coffee grounds everywhere, avocado pits everywhere, macaroni and cheese residue everywhere.
- 10:30Speaker 2: It was such a disaster. It was so disgusting, and
- 10:32Speaker 2: then I had to spend about an hour cleaning it up.
- 10:34Speaker 2: So my night sucked, but MENACE's night ruled. Apparently it
- 10:38Speaker 2: did because you had the distinct honor of having dinner
- 10:43Speaker 2: with Tyler's family.
- 10:44Speaker 4: I did, so, Yeah, I talked about it a little
- 10:48Speaker 4: bit yesterday. But I'm doing this thing with Lazy Dog
- 10:51Speaker 4: Restaurants where they have family Night every Wednesday night, and
- 10:55Speaker 4: I'm gonna be having dinner with like listeners and then
- 10:58Speaker 4: friends and family. And the first family that I had
- 11:01Speaker 4: dinner with was Tyler's family, and it was quite lovely,
- 11:05Speaker 4: and I got to ask them a lot of questions
- 11:07Speaker 4: about Tyler. And unfortunately, like my microphone, like there was
- 11:10Speaker 4: some issue with it. But I did get some audio,
- 11:12Speaker 4: but this part I didn't get on recorded.
- 11:17Speaker 3: And I asked him.
- 11:19Speaker 4: I was like, was there any like embarrassing things with
- 11:21Speaker 4: Tyler that happened? And the first story that his dad
- 11:24Speaker 4: shared with me was that they went to Disneyland, and
- 11:28Speaker 4: I guess it was like, what was it the Maden.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Horn or something. So we go to Disney Yeah, and
- 11:33Speaker 3: we go on Space Mountain.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Yeah, Well they going on Space Mountain and they all
- 11:36Speaker 4: sit on there and then suddenly he's like, yeah, the
- 11:38Speaker 4: ride stopped and they asked us to get off the
- 11:40Speaker 4: ride and they pulled us aside and said, sorry, your
- 11:44Speaker 4: your son is too large to be on the ride.
- 11:49Speaker 3: How old were you at the time, mid twenties. Yeah,
- 11:54Speaker 3: that's what I was saying.
- 11:55Speaker 7: And what he did not mentioned is that there was
- 11:57Speaker 7: a whole other car in front of us.
- 11:59Speaker 3: I had a bunch of hey people ought it too.
- 12:00Speaker 4: So yeah, apparently he maxed it out there. But yeah,
- 12:05Speaker 4: if you don't know Tyler, there's Tyler, his mom and
- 12:09Speaker 4: dad and five brothers, right, So I asked him, like,
- 12:13Speaker 4: how did you even get by? And this is what
- 12:16Speaker 4: happened when they went grocery shopping. So here's clip one recap.
- 12:20Speaker 3: This real quick.
- 12:20Speaker 4: So when you would go to the store, there's Tyler
- 12:23Speaker 4: and then he has five brothers.
- 12:25Speaker 3: How many gallons of milk would you buy?
- 12:27Speaker 2: We'd buy every two weeks.
- 12:28Speaker 8: We'd lt fourteen yellows. I think how many eggs you
- 12:31Speaker 8: to go through?
- 12:31Speaker 2: Five dozen, five two weeks. Yeah, five dozen, two weeks.
- 12:36Speaker 3: So they would drink a millionaire milk a day.
- 12:40Speaker 6: Yea, so very milk heavy family.
- 12:43Speaker 7: It was about like fourteen gallons of milk and then
- 12:47Speaker 7: just one brother would drink about half of it by
- 12:49Speaker 7: himself because that kid loved milk.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Was that you it was not? Maybe?
- 12:53Speaker 4: Yeah, but they were telling me, like their their breakfast,
- 12:56Speaker 4: like every Saturday Sunday.
- 12:58Speaker 3: It was like a hole low of bread.
- 13:01Speaker 2: It was.
- 13:01Speaker 7: It was like at least a gallon and a half
- 13:03Speaker 7: of milk, a whole off of bread, maybe a dozen
- 13:06Speaker 7: and a half eggs, pound and a half maybe two
- 13:09Speaker 7: pounds of baking because I mean you're feeding six or yeah,
- 13:11Speaker 7: six growing kids, so you know it was a full
- 13:15Speaker 7: cheaper by the dozen growing right.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Yeah, it was insane. But it's not like Tyler didn't
- 13:19Speaker 4: help out around the house. So his mom shared a
- 13:21Speaker 4: story about him providing for the family. So you had
- 13:25Speaker 4: a story about Tyler coming home with a bunch of
- 13:27Speaker 4: food one time.
- 13:28Speaker 9: Yeah, there's actually two. I have this issue with tweinkies
- 13:33Speaker 9: because they're so unhealthy, and at the time, there was
- 13:37Speaker 9: a rumor that Hostess was going out of business, and so.
- 13:39Speaker 6: They were like, you gotta get yourself.
- 13:41Speaker 9: So Charna comes home with like ten boxes of Tweakies.
- 13:44Speaker 10: It comes in.
- 13:45Speaker 9: Dad, I know she won't let you have them, so
- 13:47Speaker 9: I got them for you because he got them I
- 13:50Speaker 9: at a discount. And this one time when the grocery
- 13:52Speaker 9: store was about to close, he waited till the meat
- 13:55Speaker 9: was on sale for seventy five percent off and he
- 13:58Speaker 9: came home with like thirty six pounds of bacon.
- 14:06Speaker 6: That's really really nice of you. Good effort. And your
- 14:09Speaker 6: mom has such a sweet, adorable voice.
- 14:12Speaker 3: What I was picturing his mom is so cool.
- 14:15Speaker 6: His dad sounds way more just haggard and exhausted.
- 14:18Speaker 3: There was so nice. So there is a couple of
- 14:21Speaker 3: things here. This Twinkies thing that was that was very recently.
- 14:24Speaker 7: No, this was when Hostess was maybe first going out
- 14:27Speaker 7: of business, is like early twenty tens.
- 14:29Speaker 3: A while that happened like an early twenty ten. Yeah,
- 14:32Speaker 3: it's been a while. I don't know my.
- 14:36Speaker 7: I mean, I do trust Tyler, so I remember that
- 14:39Speaker 7: because I was working at the grocery store at the time.
- 14:41Speaker 3: So that's how I was able.
- 14:42Speaker 6: To like keep an eye on the boxes from.
- 14:45Speaker 3: The back, and my mom hates it when my dad
- 14:48Speaker 3: gets twinkies and she specifically calls some cancer sticks.
- 14:51Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, and those are cigarettes. Yeah, pretty much. And
- 14:55Speaker 7: then you know, that's how I knew that. Also, the
- 14:57Speaker 7: bacon was going down because our store was closing for and.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Tyler worked there.
- 15:02Speaker 7: Yeah, every book disappearing, everything got marked down. So I
- 15:07Speaker 7: bought all the bacon we started in the freezer. It
- 15:09Speaker 7: lasted about six months.
- 15:12Speaker 3: It worked out. Back back to the getting kicked off
- 15:14Speaker 3: the Disneyland ride for being too fat? Were you the
- 15:17Speaker 3: only one?
- 15:19Speaker 2: Yes?
- 15:19Speaker 3: Please, You're the only one in your group who was
- 15:23Speaker 3: not allowed to ride?
- 15:25Speaker 7: Uh no, So they had to. They took everybody off,
- 15:28Speaker 7: and then they split us up into like two other
- 15:30Speaker 7: separate cars. Oh yeah, basically to spread out.
- 15:38Speaker 6: They took everybody off and they're like, everybody, but you
- 15:40Speaker 6: get back.
- 15:41Speaker 3: On kind of.
- 15:42Speaker 7: So they took the first group and they're like spread out,
- 15:45Speaker 7: and then they took like the second group and they're like,
- 15:46Speaker 7: are you guys spread out?
- 15:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:47Speaker 4: So I've been with Tyler when this has happened. Yeah,
- 15:50Speaker 4: we were on the well, we tried to go on.
- 15:53Speaker 7: The Grizzly No, we tried to go on a ghost
- 15:55Speaker 7: rider ghost Rider Yeah, yeah, Wooden roller coaster and they
- 15:59Speaker 7: want to let them on.
- 16:00Speaker 3: We had to get off the ride.
- 16:01Speaker 4: That was a bit of a wake up corn slider.
- 16:04Speaker 4: So yeah, it was great. So yeah, I would love
- 16:06Speaker 4: to try it again. But he's super afraid of roller coasters.
- 16:08Speaker 2: That great, right good?
- 16:10Speaker 3: Yeah, Final Destination three scarred me for life. So because
- 16:14Speaker 3: when you're on the coach or you're not allowed to eat,
- 16:16Speaker 3: is that no doubt, it takes away from that.
- 16:18Speaker 2: You don't want to take three minutes out schedule on
- 16:22Speaker 2: top of that.
- 16:23Speaker 4: So I also I did ask his dad as Tyler
- 16:27Speaker 4: ever like disappointed you, you know, let you down.
- 16:31Speaker 8: So currently, So one of the things that Tyler did
- 16:34Speaker 8: when he was younger, dad still annoys me to the
- 16:36Speaker 8: States to no end, was well, I believe he was
- 16:39Speaker 8: working at the Woody Show when he first started, and
- 16:43Speaker 8: he wanted to buy a truck and he's kind of
- 16:45Speaker 8: hinted about it, and I said, no, you're not buying
- 16:47Speaker 8: a truck.
- 16:48Speaker 3: We got the car. That's what you can afford, live
- 16:50Speaker 3: within your means.
- 16:52Speaker 8: So he comes home with a nice brand new truck
- 16:55Speaker 8: that he leased and set up. But and that was
- 16:59Speaker 8: the beginning of his troubles, way beyond his means. And
- 17:02Speaker 8: he found that out that for about a year year
- 17:04Speaker 8: and now, but I was just so mad. I just
- 17:07Speaker 8: wanted to just kill, just to strangle it. And so
- 17:11Speaker 8: I had to help bail him out to get out
- 17:13Speaker 8: of that mess. And it took him a few years
- 17:16Speaker 8: to pay that off back to me. But uh, as
- 17:19Speaker 8: a dad, you just can't fix stupid.
- 17:22Speaker 2: So just leave you with that.
- 17:26Speaker 6: And that does he know that's how you became.
- 17:28Speaker 3: He is very well aware that is the origin of
- 17:30Speaker 3: the He supports it too.
- 17:31Speaker 4: And it's like we we thought, like, oh, this guy
- 17:34Speaker 4: has gone through life without any guidance, but he has.
- 17:39Speaker 2: But he just ignored it.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Yeah, can you get for folks who are fresh, can
- 17:42Speaker 3: you give the quick numbers on what that truck lease was?
- 17:44Speaker 3: Oh god, it was six hundred a month, and then
- 17:48Speaker 3: the insurance on top of that, I think was like
- 17:49Speaker 3: another two hundred. Sook know, the the total the total package,
- 17:54Speaker 3: the term limit.
- 17:55Speaker 7: It was six hundred a month for I believe six
- 17:58Speaker 7: years at least. Yeah, Yeah, it was a least.
- 18:01Speaker 3: At least yeah, which you know, apparently that is the norm. Now,
- 18:06Speaker 3: So I was just because he does heavy construction outside.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Yeah wait no, he didn't need to and it made
- 18:11Speaker 4: more of than minimum wage and.
- 18:13Speaker 3: He just can't fix stupid.
- 18:16Speaker 6: Also, we now know exactly what Tyler is going to
- 18:19Speaker 6: sound like in thirty.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, exact same boy.
- 18:22Speaker 4: And unfortunately his dad had something really nice to say
- 18:24Speaker 4: to him.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Just record that.
- 18:28Speaker 4: He does love that Tyler has followed his passion in
- 18:32Speaker 4: you know, wanting to pursue what he does now, and
- 18:35Speaker 4: he supports that, so he's.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Happy that he's doing that.
- 18:37Speaker 4: That was cool, but it was a It was a
- 18:39Speaker 4: lovely dinner and I hope to be having some more
- 18:43Speaker 4: dinners with some actual listeners. So on my Instagram later
- 18:47Speaker 4: at mens uh just follow there and I'll have some
- 18:49Speaker 4: instructions and maybe we can hang out at Lazy Dog together.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Fun, good times.
- 18:55Speaker 7: My parents had a blast. They loved menas, so it's
- 18:57Speaker 7: like cool, everything worked out.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna give the sub disappointed your dad's.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Do you really have a good relationship with your dad
- 19:05Speaker 3: if you don't disappoint him at least once?
- 19:07Speaker 2: Uh? Yeah, okay, maybe we got more Woody show coming up.
- 19:12Speaker 8: You just can't fix stupid.
- 19:15Speaker 2: The Woodie Show, right, now I got a pop quiz
- 19:18Speaker 2: for menace. All right, quick name Tyler's.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Brothers, Yeah, Josh, Jacob, Okay, jesse, H, John and Turn Yeah.
- 19:33Speaker 2: All right. Well, every year the Social Security Administration they
- 19:37Speaker 2: released the most popular baby names throughout the country. The
- 19:41Speaker 2: most recent one is the top picks for twenty twenty
- 19:44Speaker 2: five and some old favorites. So Olivia still the top
- 19:48Speaker 2: name for girls for the seventh year in a row.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Liam number one for boys for the ninth year in
- 19:53Speaker 2: a row. But the SSA also tracks all the most
- 19:57Speaker 2: unpopular names, so these are babies that are uh ten
- 20:00Speaker 2: or fewer babies that have these names. The least popular
- 20:04Speaker 2: name for girls Tsunami, Maybeline, Eureka, infant girl, I love
- 20:12Speaker 2: that barretta poem. Yeah that's kind of cool.
- 20:15Speaker 11: I like Bretta, badass girl, Jinx Mattel, and then not
- 20:23Speaker 11: Zoe but Zowie.
- 20:26Speaker 3: This is the greatest list because you know, it's just
- 20:28Speaker 3: the trashiest idiot complet seventeen year old is like, oh yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Get out luxury oh.
- 20:39Speaker 6: And a tone so she was a mistake.
- 20:44Speaker 2: And then for the boys, the least popular boy names,
- 20:47Speaker 2: Howdy Opa.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Brewster, Bretta.
- 20:56Speaker 2: This could have been a name of one of Tyler's brothers.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Three three Yeah, three, Matrix Chaos. Oh yeah, these are
- 21:05Speaker 2: dad's dream and that they're kid's a badass, Demon, nice, Billion,
- 21:11Speaker 2: Ferrari Anchor, Trigger, Trigger, and Tarzan noise. Yeah. So those
- 21:21Speaker 2: are your most unpopular baby names for five.
- 21:25Speaker 6: I mean we have to consider some of those.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Ferrari, bd, Demon and billions.
- 21:31Speaker 3: It's fast forward to twenty years. This is a headline,
- 21:34Speaker 3: Tarzan Joe arrested.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Right, Love Love, We're back here on the Woody Show,
- 21:45Speaker 2: Greg Gory, Menie Gina, she's got your headlines. Well.
- 21:49Speaker 6: The family of Perez Hilton is speaking out after his
- 21:51Speaker 6: mental breakdown and self harm video on TikTok. His family
- 21:54Speaker 6: and team posted a message to his website saying that
- 21:57Speaker 6: Perez is getting medical care and that they're all focused
- 21:59Speaker 6: on his well. They said that they'll share updates if
- 22:02Speaker 6: and when they're able to, but for now they're asking
- 22:05Speaker 6: for privacy, you know, pretty standard stuff. And his podcast
- 22:09Speaker 6: partner Co's Booker from The Booker and Striker Show here
- 22:12Speaker 6: on Alt nine eight seven in the afternoons, he also
- 22:14Speaker 6: spoke out, saying pretty much what the family said and
- 22:16Speaker 6: adding that the podcast is obviously TVD at the moment.
- 22:20Speaker 6: And as for the original TikTok stream that started all this,
- 22:23Speaker 6: the video was up for at least fifteen minutes before
- 22:26Speaker 6: it was taken down. TikTok said it was due to
- 22:29Speaker 6: a moderator error that caused a delay and shutting down
- 22:32Speaker 6: the live stream after the automated mods system flagged it.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Oh, fIF I think fifteen minutes is reasonable.
- 22:37Speaker 6: Yeah, I thought that was actually pretty fat.
- 22:39Speaker 3: I don't suspect TikTok to be like, oh, what's Perez Hill? Yeah, oh,
- 22:42Speaker 3: prillion guys going on. But it did.
- 22:45Speaker 6: But it did automated like get flagged right away. Just
- 22:49Speaker 6: took a little bit for somebody to actually get to it.
- 22:52Speaker 6: And a Hawaiian Democratic congressional candidate has gone viral after
- 22:56Speaker 6: a video saw this. He got photo with the He
- 23:00Speaker 6: got his ass rocked yesterday throwing down at the beach.
- 23:05Speaker 6: His name is Krill Basin, and it all started because
- 23:08Speaker 6: he had a problem. It all started because he had
- 23:11Speaker 6: a problem with where another group of people had put
- 23:13Speaker 6: their stuff on the beach, and it just got crazier
- 23:16Speaker 6: from there.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I told him, if he wants to go on to
- 23:18Speaker 3: the hop, come here. I'm a child on forty five
- 23:22Speaker 3: years old.
- 23:36Speaker 12: Scrapping chair thrower, thanks loving, yeah, saying wake up.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I still don't get what it's even going on.
- 23:50Speaker 6: So basically they were fighting about where they put their
- 23:53Speaker 6: stuff and the music was too loud and all this stuff.
- 23:57Speaker 6: Well he's a congressional candidate. He went nuts.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Yes, So that's that's the thing is. I was kind
- 24:01Speaker 3: of afraid of this when I was very briefly almost
- 24:04Speaker 3: running for city council. Is because this guy, he's a wacko.
- 24:07Speaker 3: He was never seriously to be a member of Congress,
- 24:09Speaker 3: but you tag that title on it. Yet now he
- 24:12Speaker 3: is screwed forever exactly. Every time you look watching you
- 24:15Speaker 3: know what. Not fair, not true. I just looked up
- 24:17Speaker 3: as getting name and I got something actually from May
- 24:20Speaker 3: of this hold on, I'm getting there.
- 24:22Speaker 6: Yeah, this is not where it started, by the way,
- 24:25Speaker 6: and he was woken up and he took off, but
- 24:27Speaker 6: the group was he was fighting with did call the cops.
- 24:30Speaker 6: They came and arrested him. He's facing two felony charges
- 24:33Speaker 6: of terroristic threatening, including one where he threatened the other
- 24:36Speaker 6: guy with a knife. And by the way, as I
- 24:38Speaker 6: think Sea West was getting to he was also arrested
- 24:41Speaker 6: in May after he allegedly pulled a gun on someone
- 24:44Speaker 6: after storming a government building. So he's super cool, totally stable.
- 24:48Speaker 6: Hope he represents Hawaii. And there's been another wave of
- 24:53Speaker 6: people getting sick from fast food. This time we're back
- 24:56Speaker 6: to good old Chipotle. The company announced that they removed
- 24:59Speaker 6: all their hollow pinos, which I haven't been there that often,
- 25:02Speaker 6: but I don't even remember there being halopenos at Chipotle.
- 25:04Speaker 6: Probably died in the yeah, and replaced them with one
- 25:08Speaker 6: from another supplier. After the halapenos were linked to over
- 25:11Speaker 6: one hundred cases of Selmoniller's. All the cases were in Minnesota,
- 25:15Speaker 6: so at least it's not widespread, but still Chipotle said
- 25:18Speaker 6: they made the switch just out of caution. There's also
- 25:21Speaker 6: over one hundred cases in Colorado, but the FDA has
- 25:24Speaker 6: not confirmed that that's from Chipotle. That could just be
- 25:26Speaker 6: a totally separate jalapeno incident. And the Zach Brown Band,
- 25:32Speaker 6: they have a lot of new diehard fans after their
- 25:34Speaker 6: performance at Fenway Park the other night, so the band
- 25:37Speaker 6: wanted to celebrate their fifteenth straight sold out show at Fenway,
- 25:41Speaker 6: and right before they played their song same Boat Zach
- 25:45Speaker 6: had an announcement for the crowd.
- 25:47Speaker 2: This is the biggest giveaway in history, Ladies, a gentleman
- 25:49Speaker 2: tier to night and play my part.
- 25:52Speaker 3: I'm buying every.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Single person here a cremis for two people all the
- 25:57Speaker 2: boat rad that's the coolest socking, Oprah, and.
- 26:03Speaker 6: Thirty seven thousand people there and they're all getting free cruises.
- 26:07Speaker 6: In case you're wondering that adds up to well, you
- 26:09Speaker 6: want to guess how much money that would add up
- 26:11Speaker 6: to seven thousand thousand cruises?
- 26:13Speaker 3: Well, okay, let's be careful because the brand manners these
- 26:16Speaker 3: are Margaritaville, Oh Sea Bass.
- 26:20Speaker 6: Would you just stop mowing the lawn I was down there.
- 26:23Speaker 3: That changes the amount of cost marya.
- 26:26Speaker 6: Villat see right, Okay, that's.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Still that's important.
- 26:30Speaker 2: The number thank you cises.
- 26:34Speaker 13: Two seven million, thirty seven.
- 26:39Speaker 2: I can't he doesn't pay for twelve million.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Say, I'm gonna say like it was maybe the cruises
- 26:48Speaker 4: like eight hundred and fifty dollars each thirty seven a
- 26:51Speaker 4: three day weekend.
- 26:52Speaker 6: Or thing you're using out a calculator and he's like
- 26:55Speaker 6: got a PowerPoint present.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Well, there's a lot on the lines.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Is like three hundred million or me. Everybody.
- 27:03Speaker 6: Everybody is way off in every direction. It's a value
- 27:08Speaker 6: of about forty million dollars. And yes, that's on the
- 27:12Speaker 6: Margaritaville at Sea during U select sailings next year, I
- 27:15Speaker 6: follow this woman who goes on the worst everything, like
- 27:19Speaker 6: the worst hotel, the worst cruise, the worst and so yes,
- 27:22Speaker 6: she has been on the Margarita Ville at Sea.
- 27:24Speaker 2: That's the worst.
- 27:26Speaker 6: Yeah, it's really it seems all it seems I depending on.
- 27:31Speaker 3: What you're expecting Carnival. I've gone to the Margarita Hotel.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Margaritaville hotels are fine. Yeah, yeah, the Margarita Hill and
- 27:41Speaker 3: Times Squares great.
- 27:42Speaker 6: There's not a lot going on, there's not a lot
- 27:44Speaker 6: to do with The food is mid which it is
- 27:46Speaker 6: on a lot of ships. But Carnival does have a
- 27:48Speaker 6: lot happening, like a lot of entertainment fights fights, theater fights,
- 27:53Speaker 6: dinner fights.
- 27:54Speaker 3: And I have no idea Zach Brown was popular enough
- 27:57Speaker 3: to do how many full shows?
- 27:58Speaker 6: Fifteen?
- 28:00Speaker 3: Dude, he's yeah, yeah, we're seeing him in a country
- 28:08Speaker 3: I was off by on my calculations.
- 28:11Speaker 4: My initial calculation was thirty one million, four hundred and
- 28:16Speaker 4: fifty thousand.
- 28:17Speaker 6: Okay, so you were closest without going on. Get to
- 28:22Speaker 6: go to Margaret.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 28:25Speaker 6: A thirty one year old dad in Ohio has been
- 28:27Speaker 6: arrested and a lot of people are rallying around this guy.
- 28:30Speaker 6: So listen to the story and tell me where you land.
- 28:33Speaker 6: Here's what happened. The dad and his wife found out
- 28:36Speaker 6: found a video of a dude sexually assaulting their eleven
- 28:39Speaker 6: year old daughter at their home. So dad took matters
- 28:41Speaker 6: into his own hands. He posed this as the daughter
- 28:43Speaker 6: on TikTok to get this douche to come back. The
- 28:46Speaker 6: plan worked, the guy came back and that's when dad
- 28:48Speaker 6: pulled a gun out and shot the guy twice. The
- 28:52Speaker 6: cops were called and the dad told them that he
- 28:53Speaker 6: initially just planned to beat the guy up, but he
- 28:55Speaker 6: thought he saw him reaching for a gun, so he
- 28:57Speaker 6: pulled out his gun and fired the a hold did live,
- 29:00Speaker 6: but was taken to jail and indicted by a grand jury,
- 29:02Speaker 6: but the dad was also arrested in charge with felony assault.
- 29:06Speaker 6: Tons of people now demanding he be let go. He's
- 29:08Speaker 6: still in jail with a seventy thousand dollars bond.
- 29:11Speaker 3: How say you, I'm telling you assaults a pretty good
- 29:13Speaker 3: charge for shooting somebody here. That's they're definitely letting him
- 29:17Speaker 3: off the lot.
- 29:18Speaker 2: That one.
- 29:18Speaker 3: That's the slap on the risk, right, because that's very
- 29:20Speaker 3: easily attempted murderer. Yeah, for sure, especially premeditated where you're
- 29:23Speaker 3: luring the guy there, right.
- 29:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I was just gonna beat him up.
- 29:26Speaker 2: I mean emotionally obviously, I'm a big fan of Vigilanti.
- 29:29Speaker 6: Yeah, same, but legally he said it all. I like
- 29:35Speaker 6: self defense, right, I like how.
- 29:36Speaker 2: He said he reached for the gun he was coming
- 29:38Speaker 2: right for So that's that's a good one, totally, Team Dad.
- 29:41Speaker 6: Yeah, well, we will see what happens with him, and
- 29:44Speaker 6: we will be all eyes on Ohio and that's what's
- 29:47Speaker 6: going on.
- 29:48Speaker 2: All right, Thank you, No Woody Show. Welcome back to
- 29:57Speaker 2: The Woody Show on a Thursday morning, back Monday, by
- 30:00Speaker 2: the way, just in f YI and see best. What
- 30:03Speaker 2: were you wondering, you said, Yeah.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I've got a photos to remind you. But if
- 30:06Speaker 3: you noticed, we had a sign put up, oh I
- 30:08Speaker 3: don't know, maybe a month ago in the courtyard outside
- 30:12Speaker 3: the office. It was warning us that there are coyotes
- 30:14Speaker 3: in the area.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Wow, you did say that?
- 30:19Speaker 3: No, really, but I see animals in that area, cootes
- 30:22Speaker 3: out not in the courtyard but outside the courtyard like
- 30:24Speaker 3: super early in the morning. Yeah, raccoons, and you guys
- 30:26Speaker 3: hear that sign's been out.
- 30:28Speaker 2: I saw the sign. I didn't stop to read it,
- 30:30Speaker 2: but I mean I saw the job. I saw the
- 30:33Speaker 2: gist of it. Coyotes in area.
- 30:34Speaker 3: So I meant, well, I actually I thought was the
- 30:38Speaker 3: case everything coyotes an area warning. There have been signings
- 30:41Speaker 3: of kadies in the air. That's true. And I meant
- 30:43Speaker 3: is there are four tips about what to do when
- 30:44Speaker 3: you see at kyote. Get read those for us.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Don't feed the coyotes or leave food out right, don't
- 30:50Speaker 4: approach or turn your back or run away it's okay. Yeah,
- 30:53Speaker 4: and then uh walk dogs on a short leash.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Correct, Oh, we shouldn't have dogs here. But yees carrying
- 31:00Speaker 3: noise makers? Oh in always haze. I mean that just
- 31:04Speaker 3: I think that means yell at them, basically like fraternity hazing. Yeah,
- 31:08Speaker 3: it's and below that. It's got the thing to do.
- 31:14Speaker 3: So if you see a kyote, besides doing all those
- 31:16Speaker 3: things which have little little little like stick figure graphics
- 31:18Speaker 3: that you're supposed to say something.
- 31:20Speaker 4: It says get big, get loud, and shout go away coyote,
- 31:25Speaker 4: because you know they.
- 31:26Speaker 6: Understand you could say literally anything.
- 31:29Speaker 3: So we've been like, as you can see there, even
- 31:31Speaker 3: though we didn't read it, this is a funny sign,
- 31:33Speaker 3: like those are some pretty silly things. So I also
- 31:35Speaker 3: saw this sign like a month ago, and I said
- 31:37Speaker 3: to myself, what if I just made some slight adjustments
- 31:40Speaker 3: to the sign, Okay, so to improve it? Right, So, Greg,
- 31:44Speaker 3: since I don't think MENA is going to be good
- 31:46Speaker 3: at like spotting the differences, necessarily, if you could kind
- 31:49Speaker 3: of read the news sign that which I which I
- 31:52Speaker 3: put up four or five days ago. By the way
- 31:55Speaker 3: I put this, I gently taped this over the existing
- 31:58Speaker 3: yard signs eighteen by twenty four yard signed size, and
- 32:01Speaker 3: so so you could you could tear this off.
- 32:05Speaker 2: And Greg, yours is far more enterting. Okay, Okay, I
- 32:09Speaker 2: see coyotes an area girl morning, there are fierce coyotes
- 32:14Speaker 2: up in this piece. Do not feed the coyotes or
- 32:17Speaker 2: leave food out. The first four all the same, you
- 32:19Speaker 2: can get okay, Okay, Then the carry noise maker show
- 32:24Speaker 2: them your butt as a sign of dominance.
- 32:26Speaker 3: That's a little stick figure if somebody shows.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Somebody leaning over and here's a stick figure of a
- 32:30Speaker 2: guy holding up stuff in his hands, show them a
- 32:34Speaker 2: card trick to confused though jokes, right, yeah, and when
- 32:41Speaker 2: so what you see when? You should get big, get
- 32:43Speaker 2: loud and shout out, coyote. I ain't scurt you.
- 32:47Speaker 3: So I put that up four or five days ago
- 32:49Speaker 3: just because the mess are just still the same. The
- 32:51Speaker 3: information is still getting out there.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Essentially, right.
- 32:55Speaker 3: But I walked up or I came up the elevator
- 32:57Speaker 3: this morning, and not only was my cute and funny
- 33:00Speaker 3: sign removed, the whole original sign was gonna tell so now.
- 33:04Speaker 6: There, Now we are going to get attacked by coyotes.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Oh no, no, So I'm curious number one, and well,
- 33:11Speaker 3: I think the most likely thing is, we know how
- 33:13Speaker 3: boring and awful this security is here. We they'd shut
- 33:16Speaker 3: down our beer bong off the roof attempt. They shut
- 33:19Speaker 3: down me parking my cyber truck here when I first
- 33:21Speaker 3: got it. There are a bunch of loser dopes who
- 33:23Speaker 3: work at this office. So I think that's the most
- 33:26Speaker 3: Now that I've been asking you guys, do you think
- 33:28Speaker 3: that's the most likely that somebody looked at it was like, hey, yes, yeah,
- 33:31Speaker 3: this is not okay.
- 33:32Speaker 6: Yeah, but not only like you said, is all the
- 33:34Speaker 6: pertinent information still on it? But I assume that's the
- 33:37Speaker 6: original QR code. And yes it was provided by the
- 33:40Speaker 6: local Animals animal shelter. And if you said coyote, I skirt,
- 33:45Speaker 6: you would have the same result as go away coyote.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Thank you?
- 33:49Speaker 2: Was the sign the same size?
- 33:51Speaker 3: Oh it was, you can kind of see. I took
- 33:53Speaker 3: a photo, but like again it's it's exactly eighteen by
- 33:56Speaker 3: twenty four, exactly the same coloring. It was designed to
- 33:58Speaker 3: blame because it lasted for four or five days. Yeah,
- 34:00Speaker 3: and again I very I didn't like. I didn't take
- 34:02Speaker 3: the old sign of throw it away, take it over
- 34:04Speaker 3: the front, so you could just in five seconds you
- 34:06Speaker 3: would take it off and peel mint away.
- 34:07Speaker 6: And if any word on your sign caught my eye,
- 34:10Speaker 6: I would be more absolute, would be more likely to
- 34:13Speaker 6: read the sign because I didn't read the other one.
- 34:14Speaker 3: How long is the sign here in total? Before you're
- 34:17Speaker 3: probably two addition, probably.
- 34:21Speaker 2: I saw it, I just didn't read it. But this
- 34:23Speaker 2: gives credence to one of my complaints to the highest
- 34:26Speaker 2: mukeety muck in this building. When we had them on
- 34:28Speaker 2: and told them issues around the building. The front door
- 34:31Speaker 2: of the lobby was broken and it always stayed open,
- 34:33Speaker 2: and I said coyotes could walk right in, and that
- 34:37Speaker 2: was met with a lot of like.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Oh please, because he doesn't come. Because then the reason
- 34:41Speaker 3: that is is because of the the temperature differences cause
- 34:43Speaker 3: an air pressure, so essentially that during certain a certain
- 34:48Speaker 3: times of the year, that door just blows open. The
- 34:49Speaker 3: magnets don't catch it to close.
- 34:50Speaker 2: It, and that's inviting coyotes to I.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Have I have seen inside here, but I've seen them
- 34:56Speaker 3: out on the patty of the porch, like around the
- 34:59Speaker 3: outside of that area. I've seen them down the street
- 35:01Speaker 3: at the off at the hospital. Kyties do be up
- 35:04Speaker 3: in this piece, they cal.
- 35:05Speaker 2: And you got to let them know you're not scared.
- 35:07Speaker 2: I've seen skunkson here too.
- 35:09Speaker 4: Again, I saw deer in the courtyard. In the courtyard, Yeah,
- 35:13Speaker 4: it's badass.
- 35:15Speaker 6: They get there because they can walk right through the
- 35:19Speaker 6: Where are the deer on the main street next to
- 35:21Speaker 6: the court, Well, they're down in that park, the cemetery
- 35:26Speaker 6: down the street.
- 35:26Speaker 3: They're up in the hills.
- 35:27Speaker 6: Well, you guys just know that things might move at
- 35:30Speaker 6: a glacial pace, but eventually they do get taken care of.
- 35:32Speaker 6: Remember the rose pen in the front lobby that was,
- 35:36Speaker 6: you know, causing a lot of disruption. You know how
- 35:37Speaker 6: we're not supposed to have like trinkets and everything. We
- 35:42Speaker 6: had the super classy, big giant pen with a big
- 35:47Speaker 6: pink synthetic rose.
- 35:48Speaker 3: That was a project.
- 35:49Speaker 6: Yeah, well that was how many months ago and it
- 35:52Speaker 6: is finally gone.
- 35:56Speaker 2: That day.
- 35:58Speaker 3: The highest authority to get this penry move.
- 36:01Speaker 6: My guess is there has been a personnel change up
- 36:04Speaker 6: at the front desk, and I think that was a
- 36:06Speaker 6: personal artifact from the person who left, and they took
- 36:08Speaker 6: it with them.
- 36:09Speaker 3: When they left.
- 36:10Speaker 6: That's what I think.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Wow.
- 36:11Speaker 6: Yeah, so yeah, full of we get we get right
- 36:14Speaker 6: on it, and we're just.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Doing the wrong things all the time, not having fun.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Nothing changes until something changes, that's what they say exactly.
- 36:24Speaker 2: So we are back on the Woody Show. Everybody here
- 36:35Speaker 2: except for Woody and Jeff g We're gonna be back
- 36:39Speaker 2: on Mondays. Has anybody checked in with them or having not?
- 36:43Speaker 6: We texted a little yesterday. They look like they're having fun.
- 36:47Speaker 2: I mean I would imagine.
- 36:48Speaker 3: So yeah, to be fair, that's what this radio conference
- 36:51Speaker 3: is for is to have fun, not actually learning.
- 36:55Speaker 6: They're like sitting at a school desk.
- 36:56Speaker 3: This is not a slam on them whatsoever. They are
- 36:59Speaker 3: the sages at this conference, the Elder states, except that
- 37:04Speaker 3: there are still any people trying to enter radio, which
- 37:06Speaker 3: I doubt, but you know they're there to kind of
- 37:07Speaker 3: spread knowledge and network. Yeah.
- 37:10Speaker 4: I mean last one it was in Austin, So that's
- 37:13Speaker 4: why I went because it was an actual fun city
- 37:15Speaker 4: other than Cleveland. Yeah, and yeah, it's just the best
- 37:19Speaker 4: time just hanging out with your peers. And it's weird
- 37:23Speaker 4: to see, Oh yeah, people actually pay attention to what
- 37:25Speaker 4: you do, because we just come here and we think, like,
- 37:27Speaker 4: you know, no one's paying attention. Of course our listeners do,
- 37:30Speaker 4: but like within our industry, oh nobody. Yeah, like no
- 37:33Speaker 4: one cares what we're doing.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Well. Last week, when Woody and Jeff were here, I
- 37:36Speaker 2: made a comment that I said kind of flippantly, and
- 37:39Speaker 2: then I, of course, as I always do, I obsessed
- 37:41Speaker 2: over it for the entire week. And the claim I
- 37:45Speaker 2: made was that the meaning of life is simply to
- 37:49Speaker 2: make things esthetically pleasing. And it was not even sarcastic,
- 37:53Speaker 2: and the more I thought about it, the more I
- 37:55Speaker 2: think I might be factually correct that the meaning of
- 37:59Speaker 2: life is to make things esthetically please. The gay meaning
- 38:03Speaker 2: of life, Greg No, this is the meaning of life
- 38:05Speaker 2: for everybody, because think about it just in general terms.
- 38:09Speaker 2: Why do we care about things like curb appeal? Why
- 38:11Speaker 2: do we care what our house looks like because we
- 38:13Speaker 2: want it to be esthetically pleasing to passers by? Why
- 38:16Speaker 2: do we focus on what we wear? If we didn't
- 38:18Speaker 2: want things to be aesthetically pleasing, we could simply.
- 38:21Speaker 6: Wear trash bags.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Trash bags exactly gena. See you agree. Why do we
- 38:26Speaker 2: care what our hair looks like? Why do we get
- 38:28Speaker 2: our haircut? Why do women wear makeup? Why do men manscape?
- 38:32Speaker 2: Why do men shave? It's to be aesthetically pleasing. Why
- 38:36Speaker 2: do we hang artwork on walls? Why not just have
- 38:39Speaker 2: bare walls? Who cares if you know? Because the meaning
- 38:41Speaker 2: of life is to make things aesthetically please, I'll even
- 38:43Speaker 2: help you.
- 38:44Speaker 6: They say that babies are like physiologically structured to look adorable,
- 38:49Speaker 6: so we'll want to take care of them exactlytically please.
- 38:52Speaker 2: That's why they're cute. They got the big eyes. The puppies,
- 38:57Speaker 2: same thing. Cave men we're talking the prehistoric days. They
- 39:02Speaker 2: even painted the walls of their caves with primitive artwork.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Who cares what a cave looks like. I'll tell you
- 39:08Speaker 2: who cave men care. They wanted things to be.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Aesthetically plea They were telling a story. I don't disagree.
- 39:14Speaker 3: I don't disagree with you, Greg, but I think Gene
- 39:15Speaker 3: is hitting on op in there. That was more to
- 39:16Speaker 3: like describe, like this is how the hunt went, and
- 39:19Speaker 3: this look at what I gad, sure, but it's still
- 39:22Speaker 3: check it out. I went over to kill buffalo, but
- 39:24Speaker 3: nobody wants a.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Bare rock wall.
- 39:26Speaker 3: I know they made it look good.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Also, Madas you're a big audio visual guy, why do
- 39:33Speaker 2: you care about the quality of the Christmas of your
- 39:35Speaker 2: screen and how good the picture quality is? You want
- 39:38Speaker 2: it to be aesthetically pleasing. Yes, why do you care
- 39:41Speaker 2: when you go out to a car dealership what color
- 39:44Speaker 2: of the car is? You say, Oh, I want it
- 39:46Speaker 2: in silver or I want it in blue, because you
- 39:49Speaker 2: want it to be aesthetically pleasing to you. True, that's
- 39:52Speaker 2: why we're alive, that's why we're on this earth. People
- 39:55Speaker 2: who say the meaning of life is family, that might
- 39:58Speaker 2: be true, But why do you care about what your
- 40:00Speaker 2: baby wears. Why would you care? Why do you care
- 40:03Speaker 2: about how their nursery is decorated? Because you want it
- 40:06Speaker 2: to be aesthetically pleasing. That's the meaning of life. We
- 40:11Speaker 2: mow our lawns, we make our beds, we decorate the
- 40:13Speaker 2: house for Christmas, Sammy, Yes, just because it's December. You
- 40:17Speaker 2: want your house to look a certain.
- 40:18Speaker 13: Way, right, but because I want it to make me
- 40:20Speaker 13: feel a certain way.
- 40:22Speaker 5: So aesthetically pleasing, yes, but I think also a form
- 40:26Speaker 5: of almost self expression and a feeling that you are
- 40:29Speaker 5: trying to invoke in yourself in others.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Right, but if it didn't look by what means? Visual means,
- 40:35Speaker 3: visual means.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Yeah. We use flowers at weddings. You were just at
- 40:38Speaker 2: a wedding. I'm assuming they had flowers because they look nice. Right,
- 40:41Speaker 2: They're not gonna live forever, They're not necessarily valuable, but
- 40:45Speaker 2: they look good and it invokes a feeling, and that's
- 40:48Speaker 2: the meaning of life. We buy needless things like Stanley
- 40:52Speaker 2: mugs in different colors, which you specifically said to different
- 40:55Speaker 2: you know, like, oh, I already have a Stanley mug,
- 40:58Speaker 2: but I had to have that pink one.
- 41:00Speaker 5: It's so bad to have, well, I have to have
- 41:02Speaker 5: ones for different seasons so that the feeling of the
- 41:05Speaker 5: season is appropriate.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Right, it looks good with the season, and how does
- 41:08Speaker 2: it invoke that feeling by the way it looks true?
- 41:12Speaker 3: Greg, Again, I'm not disagreeing with you, but the evolutionary
- 41:15Speaker 3: biologist in me would say, well, the reason you know
- 41:17Speaker 3: things like haircuts, make up, et cetera, shaving, all that
- 41:21Speaker 3: stuff is to show that you are a clean mate,
- 41:25Speaker 3: That you are because you because the ultimate purpose of
- 41:28Speaker 3: life is really only to reproduce. The reproduce to get
- 41:30Speaker 3: your genes to contain and all the things you discussed
- 41:33Speaker 3: clean lawns, you know, pleasant looking things, they flower, things
- 41:37Speaker 3: that make you feel safe and content are designed to
- 41:40Speaker 3: show that Look, I am a provider. My genes are good.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Look what I can do for you woman, Look at
- 41:45Speaker 3: my Look at clean house. But look at the words
- 41:47Speaker 3: you just said show look right, it's not with your
- 41:50Speaker 3: ears your mouth right right, right, But but demonstrating my
- 41:53Speaker 3: the quality of my genetics. That's where that's where it goes.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Back to that true and I'm not disagreeing with you
- 41:59Speaker 2: at all. The the purpose of life, that might be
- 42:01Speaker 2: the purpose of life, the meaning of life, the meaning
- 42:06Speaker 2: of life. There is no correct answer, although I do
- 42:09Speaker 2: believe it's to make things aesthetically pleasing, even old timey castles.
- 42:13Speaker 2: You were just in the castle menace, A beautiful castle,
- 42:15Speaker 2: A beautiful castle. They use like draperies for insulation. Everything
- 42:19Speaker 2: was ornate, The furniture was all hand carved. Why because
- 42:22Speaker 2: we didn't look at it. No, because that's all we did,
- 42:25Speaker 2: was look at Because there's no television exactly. And it's
- 42:28Speaker 2: human nature that we just want things to look nice.
- 42:31Speaker 2: We prefer hotels that are nice. We fantasize about winning
- 42:35Speaker 2: the lottery, why so we can buy bigger, nicer houses, nicer,
- 42:40Speaker 2: more attractive cars, bigger diamond rings. Morgan, Hello, do you
- 42:45Speaker 2: want to lame dumb diamond ring? When you eventually get
- 42:49Speaker 2: engaged to you and then you sit there and we
- 42:56Speaker 2: like tropical islands with scattered palm trees here and there.
- 42:59Speaker 2: You don't want to go to some vast wasteland that
- 43:01Speaker 2: just happens to have a dirty water there.
- 43:03Speaker 3: You want it to look so greg The next time
- 43:05Speaker 3: someone says to you when you complain about trash and
- 43:07Speaker 3: graffiti and unkept loss, why you care?
- 43:12Speaker 2: Because I care? Because it's the meaning alive. And then
- 43:15Speaker 2: I'm gonna look at this then the opposite side, Where
- 43:18Speaker 2: are aesthetics totally overlooked? Where do they make zero point
- 43:23Speaker 2: zero effort to offer any esthetic?
- 43:26Speaker 3: Prison?
- 43:28Speaker 2: Prison? Prison? They make no effort to make anything look nice.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Obviously it's a safety issue. You can't have decor that
- 43:36Speaker 2: you can turn into a shank or whatever. But they're
- 43:38Speaker 2: don't put plants. They don't care about what paint color
- 43:40Speaker 2: they're using. My high school used handy down paints from prison,
- 43:43Speaker 2: and I can tell you it's ugly. It's ugly. They
- 43:46Speaker 2: don't care about aesthetics in prison, And in prison, what
- 43:49Speaker 2: don't you have? There're no meaning of life in prison.
- 43:53Speaker 2: If you have a life sentence, what's the point of
- 43:55Speaker 2: that life? Not much?
- 43:57Speaker 3: Not much lunch and dinner.
- 43:58Speaker 2: So that's my meaning off And I realized it after
- 44:01Speaker 2: a week of pontificating and thinking about it. I think
- 44:05Speaker 2: I'm right. I think I'm right. Hell, maybe you disagree,
- 44:10Speaker 2: but maybe Gina has her own meaning.
- 44:11Speaker 6: But I do You've really give me a lot to
- 44:14Speaker 6: think about it.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Okay, well I might be right. Let's find out what
- 44:16Speaker 2: yours is? The Woodie show. I've never told you guys
- 44:20Speaker 2: this before. But I'm kind of death obsessed and I'm
- 44:23Speaker 2: kind of money oubsessed. And there's this silly and it's
- 44:27Speaker 2: very silly online poll that asked how many inches of
- 44:31Speaker 2: your height are you willing to lose for money? So
- 44:35Speaker 2: they pulled forty seven hundred people zero and the results.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Out of four thy seven hundred people, nineteen percent said
- 44:42Speaker 2: they would give up two inches of height for three
- 44:44Speaker 2: hundred thousand bucks. O.
- 44:46Speaker 6: No, nah, that doesn't seem like good trade.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Nine percent of people would give up four inches of
- 44:51Speaker 2: their height for seven hundred and fifty grand. Sixteen percent
- 44:55Speaker 2: said they would give up six inches if they got
- 44:57Speaker 2: two and a half million bucks, and then four percent
- 45:00Speaker 2: said they would give up eight inches of their height
- 45:03Speaker 2: if it meant they could get seven million dollars, And
- 45:06Speaker 2: then thirty percent would be willing to give up ten
- 45:10Speaker 2: inches for fifty million bucks.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Be illegal image, Well.
- 45:13Speaker 13: I guess it depends on how tall you are. I mean,
- 45:15Speaker 13: like I would be willing to lose two inches? What's
- 45:17Speaker 13: five feet to four ten?
- 45:18Speaker 2: Yeah? A lot?
- 45:21Speaker 13: Really?
- 45:22Speaker 2: Really?
- 45:22Speaker 6: You ain't even go in all the rides in amusement
- 45:23Speaker 6: parks if you're a.
- 45:24Speaker 13: Girl who's five eight and you drop to five feet.
- 45:27Speaker 3: Okay, yeah for girls, it doesn't really.
- 45:30Speaker 13: Yeah, it's much different.
- 45:31Speaker 6: I would do it in a million an inch Okay,
- 45:34Speaker 6: that would be my way.
- 45:37Speaker 2: I might be right. I'd do half a million for
- 45:39Speaker 2: one inch, but no more than one inch almost six feet,
- 45:43Speaker 2: like five to eleven. But I slouched like crazy, so
- 45:46Speaker 2: like five to five and Mario's like six one and
- 45:50Speaker 2: a half maybe six to two. Guys, Yeah, I don't
- 45:54Speaker 2: want to be that much shorter. Yeah, and then in
- 45:56Speaker 2: my clothing budget would increase because I couldn't wear his
- 45:59Speaker 2: stuff and could take all that.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Could you make how much would you would you give
- 46:03Speaker 3: up for him to lose to get down to your height?
- 46:06Speaker 2: Oh god, you could pay me ten grand to make.
- 46:09Speaker 2: In my head it would rule I'm so much shorter
- 46:12Speaker 2: than him. Is a show a Woody d Jeff g
- 46:18Speaker 2: will be back on Monday. In the meantime here at
- 46:20Speaker 2: the Woody Show and fresh off my Uh, what I
- 46:23Speaker 2: think is was a list of facts, to be honest,
- 46:26Speaker 2: the meaning of light. I think you nailed this just
- 46:28Speaker 2: to be aesthetically pleasing.
- 46:30Speaker 3: I was looking on to see if there are other
- 46:32Speaker 3: famous people others besides Greg Gory, famous who said that
- 46:34Speaker 3: aesthetic is the meaning of life? Did he in Westwood?
- 46:38Speaker 5: Oh?
- 46:39Speaker 3: Well, Jacobs, there you go.
- 46:42Speaker 6: Oh yes, Coco Chanel, Oh, I can't argue with her.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Alexander McQueen, nice, I have something in common Dena of Biaga,
- 46:52Speaker 3: This guy Fuco, famous philosopher.
- 46:55Speaker 6: Okay, all right, clothing designers and a philosopher, I think,
- 47:03Speaker 6: But where am I wrong? I don't think you're wrong.
- 47:06Speaker 6: I just have a different, a different take on it.
- 47:08Speaker 6: But I do like yours, and you have broadened my horizons.
- 47:10Speaker 6: I think there's a reason that the old adage is
- 47:14Speaker 6: variety is the spice of life. Variety is the meaning
- 47:17Speaker 6: of life. To try as many new things as possible,
- 47:20Speaker 6: to go to as many new places as possible, to
- 47:22Speaker 6: meet as many different kinds of people, to taste as
- 47:24Speaker 6: many different kinds of flavors, to step outside your comfort
- 47:28Speaker 6: zone as much as you can. I believe somebody who
- 47:34Speaker 6: loves staying home, well, I don't think maybe he doesn't
- 47:40Speaker 6: know the meaning of life. I believe anecdotally that people
- 47:43Speaker 6: are smarter, calmer, have better senses of humor. All those
- 47:48Speaker 6: people are just better when they've experienced more than someone
- 47:51Speaker 6: who never leaves their house, and again I fing love
- 47:55Speaker 6: my house, but under that same umbrella, a variety, to
- 47:59Speaker 6: get to know as many different types of people as possible,
- 48:03Speaker 6: I believe is the meaning of life. First of all,
- 48:05Speaker 6: people are not meant to be alone. Nobody's an island.
- 48:08Speaker 6: I love being alone, but I don't want to be
- 48:10Speaker 6: alone forever. You know, you love being a hermit. I
- 48:12Speaker 6: love being a hermit. But you've got to find your community.
- 48:15Speaker 6: Doesn't have to be your family, it doesn't have to
- 48:18Speaker 6: be people you live next to, but you've got to
- 48:20Speaker 6: find people who understand you, who understand you, who you
- 48:23Speaker 6: have common interest with. That is a big part of
- 48:27Speaker 6: the meaning of life to me. Also, it feels like,
- 48:30Speaker 6: you know, is oh, the world's never been more divided,
- 48:32Speaker 6: and we've been through like how many world wars, but
- 48:34Speaker 6: like it's pretty divided. And it's really easy to hate
- 48:37Speaker 6: someone when you never leave your house or never get
- 48:38Speaker 6: to know anybody. But once you meet them and you
- 48:41Speaker 6: see their humanity, it is way harder to hate them.
- 48:44Speaker 6: And if you still hate them, you have a good reason.
- 48:47Speaker 6: Like if you really got to know someone and they suck,
- 48:49Speaker 6: like I believe you completely, so at least try to
- 48:54Speaker 6: get out of your comfort zone, because I do believe
- 48:56Speaker 6: that that is the meaning of life.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Sometimes the more you get to know somebody, the less.
- 49:00Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying. And then I got no problem
- 49:04Speaker 6: with you. But the more you see other people's humanity,
- 49:07Speaker 6: and the more the more cultures, the more places, the
- 49:10Speaker 6: more things that you visit, like they what is the phrase,
- 49:13Speaker 6: the world expands and contracts according to your courage, you know,
- 49:18Speaker 6: so like the more the more variety you give yourself.
- 49:22Speaker 6: I do believe that that is the meaning of it.
- 49:24Speaker 4: I'll just keep on sharing the same stories every day.
- 49:26Speaker 6: Yeah, right, live that meaningless life.
- 49:29Speaker 4: What about you, man, I think the meaning of life
- 49:33Speaker 4: is to have drive, but not to care. I think
- 49:37Speaker 4: we put a lot of pressures on ourselves all the time.
- 49:41Speaker 4: And just I don't know, just I've figured out later
- 49:45Speaker 4: in life that And honestly it doesn't matter, you know,
- 49:49Speaker 4: you at least try to, you know, to do something.
- 49:53Speaker 4: But if it doesn't pan out, it's okay. You're gonna live,
- 49:56Speaker 4: you know, like if you if you get fired from
- 49:59Speaker 4: that job, it's not the end of the world.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Like you'll be all right, you know.
- 50:04Speaker 4: And also making things less about you and there's this
- 50:10Speaker 4: interview that Jimmy Iveen did that I found fascinating. He's
- 50:16Speaker 4: and it was pretty much like a two hour interview
- 50:18Speaker 4: and all he said was to be of service to
- 50:22Speaker 4: others and good things will happen to you. And I
- 50:25Speaker 4: strongly believe that if you make things about other people,
- 50:29Speaker 4: I think good things will happen for you regardless. And
- 50:35Speaker 4: he's a billionaire, so you know, And it was just
- 50:37Speaker 4: like him just like helping other people in their careers,
- 50:41Speaker 4: like just made him bigger and bigger and bigger and
- 50:43Speaker 4: bigger instead of just focusing it just being about yourself
- 50:47Speaker 4: and not caring about others. I just think being of
- 50:51Speaker 4: service for others is worked out for me. I think
- 50:54Speaker 4: it just like just you know, helping out other people
- 50:58Speaker 4: when they need it. And it's I don't know, good
- 51:00Speaker 4: things happened to me.
- 51:01Speaker 2: So you do service a lot of people?
- 51:03Speaker 3: Yeah I do, but yeah, just not caring a Nike,
- 51:09Speaker 3: just just going for.
- 51:11Speaker 2: It, Okay, Sammy get philosophical.
- 51:13Speaker 5: Yes, mine's not too far if I wouldn't say from
- 51:16Speaker 5: both Gina and Menace, but I think that it is
- 51:19Speaker 5: connecting with people is the meaning of life, and to
- 51:22Speaker 5: also be paying attention to our surroundings, what's happening around us,
- 51:26Speaker 5: and who we're coming into contact with, because I think
- 51:28Speaker 5: we are supposed to learn from other people and we're
- 51:31Speaker 5: all supposed to We're supposed to take what we learn
- 51:34Speaker 5: and help other people with it, so something might happen
- 51:37Speaker 5: in life, Like we see these stories where there's like
- 51:39Speaker 5: a girl who was ten years old two weeks ago,
- 51:42Speaker 5: you know, learned about tsunamis in school, and then she's
- 51:45Speaker 5: on the beach and a tsunamis about to happen and
- 51:47Speaker 5: notices it and everyone rushes off the beach because she
- 51:50Speaker 5: was in a situation where she learned that, she retained
- 51:53Speaker 5: it and she helped others with that information.
- 51:55Speaker 13: So I think it is learning and connecting and.
- 51:58Speaker 5: Sort of helping each other, not staying silent if you
- 52:02Speaker 5: know something, see something, because I think that be something.
- 52:05Speaker 5: Well yeah, but I do think that we are also
- 52:08Speaker 5: used to we see stuff on the news that's not
- 52:10Speaker 5: in our reality. We don't know how biased some of
- 52:12Speaker 5: it is, and we keep to ourselves and you see
- 52:14Speaker 5: something and you walk by and you don't say anything,
- 52:17Speaker 5: you don't help people, And I think that's becoming more
- 52:19Speaker 5: common in our society than.
- 52:21Speaker 10: It used to be.
- 52:22Speaker 3: Best says always called the cops when you see something.
- 52:27Speaker 5: But if someone has a flat tire and you have
- 52:30Speaker 5: the knowledge and know how to change a flat tire,
- 52:33Speaker 5: you can help that person, and you again, you might
- 52:35Speaker 5: have something to do. It doesn't mean you're a bad
- 52:37Speaker 5: person by driving by. But we're supposed to help each
- 52:40Speaker 5: other with our knowledge and by taking action.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Is what I But we got so jaded that if
- 52:44Speaker 2: you see somebody with a flat tire, you think, oh.
- 52:46Speaker 3: This is a scam, get one over on me exactly.
- 52:50Speaker 5: And I think that's a problem because we're supposed to
- 52:52Speaker 5: help each other and we're moving so far.
- 52:54Speaker 13: Away from that.
- 52:55Speaker 3: I see a woman who's not smiling, I say, hey, girl, smile.
- 52:59Speaker 6: That says be pretty if you smile.
- 53:01Speaker 3: I'm helping her. I'm providing seeing something. I'm saying, you're
- 53:04Speaker 3: being of service.
- 53:05Speaker 2: And you get philosophical, Well I have.
- 53:11Speaker 3: And this is actually just came up recently. And I
- 53:13Speaker 3: wouldn't be a Sea Best segment without mentioning Elon Musk
- 53:16Speaker 3: And he said, what what is common for? Like he
- 53:19Speaker 3: said this, and uh, like, uh, what's his face in
- 53:22Speaker 3: the wheelchair of hawking? Hawking said this, what's his face,
- 53:26Speaker 3: That the universe, that finding out about the universe is
- 53:28Speaker 3: our purpose in life, like the universe is and it's not,
- 53:31Speaker 3: and that the universe is the answer is the way
- 53:33Speaker 3: they put it. And all we do is to find
- 53:35Speaker 3: is to keep asking the.
- 53:36Speaker 4: What is that?
- 53:37Speaker 3: What is that?
- 53:37Speaker 2: Then?
- 53:37Speaker 3: Is you actual?
- 53:38Speaker 2: Where the where?
- 53:38Speaker 3: The question? The universe is the answer, et cetera, et cetera.
- 53:41Speaker 3: I think it's closer to what men has said. This
- 53:44Speaker 3: is what people like. Actually Einstein said that about the
- 53:46Speaker 3: meaning of life is to help other people. Mlka said this,
- 53:50Speaker 3: you know all mother trees, et cetera, et cetera. However,
- 53:54Speaker 3: there's a giant caveat because to use the best analogy
- 53:58Speaker 3: of all time, guess who thought he was helping other people?
- 54:01Speaker 3: Oh no, exactly, but you could fill in this guess
- 54:09Speaker 3: So you can fill in the blank with any bad
- 54:11Speaker 3: dude of all time. Tethy McVeigh, Paul Pott, Chairman, mao,
- 54:15Speaker 3: it's Stalin Lennon. All these people thought they were helping
- 54:18Speaker 3: other people. It led to millions, if not hundreds of
- 54:22Speaker 3: millions of people suffering and dying. The city councilman who says, well,
- 54:28Speaker 3: we really need to separate your compost ways from they
- 54:32Speaker 3: think they're helping other people, which goes back to MENACE's point,
- 54:37Speaker 3: truly helping other people like Jimmy Ivy and who I've
- 54:40Speaker 3: heard some of his stuff too, he's a businessman and
- 54:43Speaker 3: people only like, how you know you're actually helping other
- 54:46Speaker 3: people is when they come to you for help, not
- 54:47Speaker 3: when you're forcing it down their throats or first forcing
- 54:51Speaker 3: them on a Cambodian death march, to go back to
- 54:54Speaker 3: that analogy. So there's there's that's that's the why stories
- 54:58Speaker 3: are so interesting and why the great villains all time
- 55:00Speaker 3: always think. You know, the Joker thinks he's doing the
- 55:02Speaker 3: right he's the hero. You know, they all think. So
- 55:05Speaker 3: you might be thinking you're doing you might be thinking
- 55:07Speaker 3: you're I'm doing the right thing, I'm helping people, I'm
- 55:09Speaker 3: I'm I'm feeling I'm fulfilling the meaning of life, and
- 55:11Speaker 3: you're actually the most evil person in the world.
- 55:13Speaker 2: Right, So what you're saying is there's a huge difference
- 55:16Speaker 2: between objectively just helping something rights and subjectively thinking of
- 55:20Speaker 2: changing the way I feel like this is this is
- 55:22Speaker 2: what I want to do.
- 55:23Speaker 3: But no, you look outside yourself, have you know a
- 55:25Speaker 3: little bit more.
- 55:26Speaker 6: This is why well and also what Cevest said I
- 55:28Speaker 6: I agree with too. It's to find out about the
- 55:30Speaker 6: universe because at the end of the day, we're just
- 55:32Speaker 6: ants totally. We were just a little ants, and if
- 55:34Speaker 6: we can help figure out what these little ants are
- 55:37Speaker 6: doing on this rock, that would be great.
- 55:38Speaker 3: Which goes back to Elon. That's why he wants to
- 55:39Speaker 3: go to Mars. Okay, his because his like isn't. It
- 55:44Speaker 3: isn't to get nice cars, no offense of Gregg. His
- 55:46Speaker 3: doesn't to buy nice things. That's I want everything he does.
- 55:49Speaker 3: I want to make humanity better and help them find
- 55:51Speaker 3: out more about the world.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Mind blown, Yeah, this rule, let's go do ayahuasca.
- 56:02Speaker 3: No, I feel like an idiot.
- 56:04Speaker 2: This is normally the time that Jeff g would be
- 56:06Speaker 2: doing sports, but since Jeff is not here today, we
- 56:08Speaker 2: have something sports adjacent, A sport that gets no mentions ever.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Women's cycling. Oh, they're caught up in this weird new
- 56:17Speaker 2: scandal involving padded bras. So really it's an alleged trick
- 56:22Speaker 2: known as chest fairing. It involves patting your bra to
- 56:25Speaker 2: increase your bus size, your boobies and change how the
- 56:28Speaker 2: air flows around the body resistance and that supposedly cuts
- 56:33Speaker 2: down on drags. So according to experts, if you have
- 56:35Speaker 2: a smaller chest, it can create kind of an air
- 56:38Speaker 2: pocket right near the stomach and slightly slow the rider down.
- 56:42Speaker 3: Oh, I thought it'd be the other way around because
- 56:44Speaker 3: me too.
- 56:45Speaker 6: Think of like the front of a plane almost comes
- 56:47Speaker 6: to like a point, and if you have big boobs,
- 56:49Speaker 6: it kind of slides off into you like a wall.
- 56:52Speaker 3: Right, that's hilarious.
- 56:53Speaker 2: And there's a professor of aerodynamics who said that chest
- 56:57Speaker 2: fairing could actually reduce drag by up to three point
- 56:59Speaker 2: six or set, which might sound tiny, but that's a
- 57:02Speaker 2: sport where the smallest margins matter, so it's seen as
- 57:07Speaker 2: an unfair advantage. And the trend got first reported last
- 57:10Speaker 2: month by this newspaper, Dutch newspaper caused a stir in
- 57:14Speaker 2: the women's cycling world.
- 57:15Speaker 6: It's hilarious because you think of like the fifties, they
- 57:18Speaker 6: would wear things called the bullet bras, so your boobs
- 57:20Speaker 6: looked like they came to a point, like two little missiles.
- 57:23Speaker 13: Those would be great for this.
- 57:24Speaker 2: And then on Tuesday, Cyclistic this year's Tour de France
- 57:27Speaker 2: had their clothing specially checked. Unclear if any padding was found,
- 57:31Speaker 2: but organizers clearly want to discourage.
- 57:34Speaker 5: Chest Fairy if they'll get implants because of this, because
- 57:37Speaker 5: do you remember the men's skiers during the Olympics because
- 57:42Speaker 5: they were padding, Yeah, that area for the aerodynamics and
- 57:44Speaker 5: then they I think started getting injections because you can't
- 57:48Speaker 5: really right, there's no padding with that.
- 57:51Speaker 4: Wow.
- 57:52Speaker 3: Interesting to follow the story.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Oh, we will definitely follow this story. First show show,
- 58:00Speaker 2: Let's go to the phones and go to Christina in Pasadena. Christina,
- 58:06Speaker 2: it's up.
- 58:08Speaker 9: Why are you guys?
- 58:09Speaker 6: I missed Snoop because I needed to call you guys.
- 58:12Speaker 2: Okay, so you knew that you were listening for Snoop
- 58:14Speaker 2: to win a trip to the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Ya,
- 58:19Speaker 2: you're going. It's happening. You did it. It's in Vegas
- 58:24Speaker 2: next month, September eighteenth and nineteenth. Snoop will be there, Weezer, Muse, Benson, Boone,
- 58:29Speaker 2: Major Laser, there's tons more. Christina. You're going Friday night,
- 58:33Speaker 2: which is sold out. You're going Saturday night as well.
- 58:36Speaker 3: We're gonna fly you and.
- 58:37Speaker 2: A friend there back and forth, and you know what,
- 58:41Speaker 2: We're not gonna make you sleep on the street. You
- 58:43Speaker 2: can put you up at Resorts World for a couple
- 58:45Speaker 2: of nights as well. So this is like trip.
- 58:51Speaker 6: I want to give you a big hot.
- 58:55Speaker 3: I mean there are cool tunnels in Vegas you can sleep.
- 58:57Speaker 6: Oh yeah, there's people a.
- 58:58Speaker 3: Lot of people do that went for you.
- 59:03Speaker 2: So congrats, Christina. You going to the iHeartRadio Music Festival
- 59:06Speaker 2: courtesy of The Woody Show. And we have another chance
- 59:09Speaker 2: tomorrow morning. So eight o'clock hour is when we're doing
- 59:12Speaker 2: it tomorrow. We're gonna play any song by Muse, whatever
- 59:15Speaker 2: song we decide to play by mus and you could
- 59:17Speaker 2: be just like Christina and head off to the iHeartRadio
- 59:20Speaker 2: Music Festival.
- 59:22Speaker 4: Thank you Show.
- 59:25Speaker 2: All right, we are back here at the Woody Show.
- 59:27Speaker 4: Yes, and guys, I have to share this car ride
- 59:30Speaker 4: that I took a couple of weeks ago when I
- 59:33Speaker 4: went to SeaWorld. It was pretty crazy. Let me share
- 59:37Speaker 4: it with you and you tell me what you think
- 59:38Speaker 4: about it. So I was hanging out at SeaWorld and
- 59:43Speaker 4: Spicy Nacho came with me or what my wife, but
- 59:47Speaker 4: she stayed back at the resort because we had our
- 59:51Speaker 4: dogs with us. So she said, I'll meet with I'll
- 59:54Speaker 4: meet with you later. So she said I'll be there
- 59:56Speaker 4: at three o'clock, which she got there, and then we
- 59:59Speaker 4: were gonna go to E forty concert at the at
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: the park.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: Oh, this is a very infamous SeaWorld concert. Yeah forty folks,
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: I don't know. He's a San Francisco area wrapper. Yeah,
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: from the nineties.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: And it was we're gonna like meet up with our
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: friends around four o'clock. So we had like an hour,
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: right and she gets there and go did you drive?
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: And she said, yeah, I'm like, oh, man, I really
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: wanted to have some drinks at the E forty show.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: You shouldn't have drove.
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: You're gonna get spicy.
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I wish you would have took a taxi or uber.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: And she goes, well, you still have time to like
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: drive the car back because we're staying at this resort,
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: which is awesome. It's called like Paradise Resort. It's pretty
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: much like at the edge of the parking lot of SeaWorld.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: It's not far at all, like maybe two minutes. I go,
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: you know what, I'm going to take the car back
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: and then I'll come back and meet you at four o'clock.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: So I go to the resort and it's a electric car,
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: so I try to look for some chargers. There was
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: like a new charging system, so I had to like
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: download the app and like sign up for it.
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: And that's one thing. I take electric vehicles if you
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: aren't at a Tesla area, if there are a thousand
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: different and they always greg yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: So it was taking up a lot more time that
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: I wanted. And I'm like, okay, finally I got the
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: car charging. Everything's all good. I'm gonna request an uber.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: So I request the Uber and the Uber not getting closer.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: It's driving in the opposite direction.
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: I'm like, oh man, this sucks. Now you can't cancel her.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: It looks bad on you.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna be late, totally driving like to the airport,
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: not even close to me, but from across from the resort,
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: I see a taxi. Go okay, oh cool, I'm gonna
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: So I walk up to the taxi and go, are
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: you available? He goes yes, I'm available. Okay cool. So
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: I get in the taxi and I go, yeah, I'm
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: just going to Sea World. Man, I'll give you an
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: extra tip, and he goes SeaWorld. I go yeah, he goes,
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: what's that. We're literally at the edge of the parking lot.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: We're in San Diego, California. You don't know what SeaWorld is?
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: What that is that a code work for? Like, oh,
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: what's that?
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: Yeah? Sea World? Then no, he goes, can you type
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: it in my navigation for me? Okay, all right?
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: And I want to be there on time, So okay,
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: I type in the navigation and we started going there
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: and we get to the parking lot and there's a
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: little bit of traffic and I go, hey, dude, I'll
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: just pay you right here so we can save some time,
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: so I can just get out of the car, and
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: how much.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: I owe you? And he goes, you can pay whatever
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: you want. What is going on?
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Was this like a legit cap?
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: So I started looking around the cab and I go,
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: wait a minute, there's like no signage in this car
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: that indicates that it's a cab at all. Only the
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: sight there was a sign on top, like a traditional
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: light taxi sign. But then I noticed the car.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: Oh it's kind of dumpy.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: Was there a meter like one of those? Nope?
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: Why nothing? There was a taxi nothing in it?
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Right? And then.
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: I go okay and I go, well, the uber is
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: gonna be like twenty bucks, so I'll go I'll give
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: him twenty five.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: So I type in twenty five dollars. This guy almost
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: is about to cry. He's like, oh my.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: God, thank you so much.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: This is the greatest day ever.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: Really, and then he goes, oh, thank you so much.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: And then so it gets to the part where you
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: put a tip, and then I go, well, he was
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: really excited about the twenty five dollars, I'm gonna put
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: the thirty five dollars, so I'd put thirty five dollars in.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: This guy almost loses his mind. He thank you so much,
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: so much, thank you, oh, thank you, bless you all
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: this stuff. And then I the only thing that I
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: could find in the car was a Nigerian flag. So
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, this dude is from Nigeria. I don't
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: know how long he's been in the country, but I
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: looked it up and the average income for a Nigerian
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: per month is one hundred dollars. I just gave this
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: guy thirty five dollars for two minutes, so yes, of
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: course it is a big deal that I just gave
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: him thirty five dollars. But I'm like, how long have
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: you been here?
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: Because that thirty five dollars is not going to go
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: pretty far in America?
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Right, that'll get you luck.
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: Yeah. But then so yeah, I got out of the cab,
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: but it was a completely fake cab.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: I wonder what the background story is on that. And
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: he was chilling out at the resort for a ride.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: He was just in the parking lot. Yeah no, no, no,
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: not in like a.
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: Not a sactioned like taxi area or anything like that.
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: But I've never gotten in a fake cab. Ever, I
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: have gotten I have gotten into wrong cars thinking it
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: was an uber, and like people have done that to
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: me when I had likewise, yeah, when I had a Prius,
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: a black Prius, bad idea because everywhere you stopped at.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: Any like, people just jump in.
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: People just jump in, like all day long. Make sure
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: you're your your car's locked. But I've heard about like
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: you know, fake taxis and things like things like that,
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: but people like usually like wave them down. But like
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: a straight up fake taxi like that, I just couldn't
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: believe it.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: The thing about fake taxis like a million years ago,
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: and he lived in New York, is they would try
- 1:05:49Speaker 6: and get you to get in their cars. But they
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: for sure knew where they were going, like they were
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: really good at it.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: They just they weren't edge the edge of the parking
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: lot of SeaWorld. And then said, what would that? What
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: is SeaWorld?
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: That's I'm saying, like, this guy, are we sure this
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: was his car?
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: It just doesn't I don't even know if he had
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: a license or whatever.
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: But he certainly didn't have like his picture with like
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: the medallion.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: That they had. I was doing all the payment stuff
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: on his phone. That is great.
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: I wonder it was like, because he's obviously not from
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: the country that it's somehow people said, hey, if you
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: go there and you can just drive people around and
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: that's till you can make money when you first get there.
- 1:06:25Speaker 13: And he thought, okay, great, and then we're like, is
- 1:06:27Speaker 13: it hour one day one? Maybe maybe because maybe.
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: He tried to set up uber or something or didn't
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: know how, or maybe it takes time to process, and
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: so he was like, oh, well, taxis, you don't need
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: to do all this and just like became a taxi.
- 1:06:39Speaker 13: Even though he's not.
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: And that's the thing, menace, Like if I were in
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: your shoes, I would have gotten out of there as
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: quickly as possible. But I am so mad at you
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: right now for not asking like fifteen questions because I
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: gotta know.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: Yeah, like, uh well I did look up, like what's
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: thirty five dollars in Nigerian and it's like forty one
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: thousand Nigerians.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: But I'm telling you, almost.
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: To tears, you made this grifter's day.
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: If I wanted to do this, I wouldn't even know
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: where to get the sign that says taxi to put
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: it on exactly. And if I had one, how would
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: I fix it to my car? Yeah? I am have
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: so many questions, had more, sorry.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: Question, I was in a rush. Yeah, I mean he
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: got me there. I'm live.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: Everything's good.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: Imagine his mind how much it would have been blown
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: if you showed him bang bus.

- 1:20:08Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: Can't be that.
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: Tennis ball, don toy, mini basketball, hoop, water gun? All right,
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: NERF gun, give your final answers, NERF gun?
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: Hell?
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: Uh?
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: Mask of both of the clown.
- 1:20:31Speaker 6: Board game?
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:20:33Speaker 10: Plato?
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: Hell damn it? That pretty close. It's a frisbee. It's
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: pretty close.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: High canes frisbee.
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: You guys had two wins. It's pretty good. Good again.
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: I'm donating my one hundred dollars gift card greg to
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: the hottest text in. I can't see it, but I'll
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: find the way. They figured it out that text in
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: your in thet Yeah, Tyler, Tyler will.
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: Choose contender Instagram.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: Don't give me a name, just texting a directly to
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: your back re public Instagram obviously, and Tyler will choose
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: the hottest chick and she will get my one hundred
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: gift card. All right, all right, and Tyler and your DMS.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: So that was the debut of throw Coat Thursday.
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: We can change it up.
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: Will it make a return? We'll find out. We are
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: back here on your Thursday Morning a Woody show, and
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: there's some feedback menace on Yes, your stellar segment called
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: throat Goat Thursday. Nice.
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: We can damp it up. We could.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: And I believe you did what Morgan likes to do,
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: where you named something and then came up with yes
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: like that first engineering.
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: See I can learn from other people.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, says texted in Throat Goat Thursday was
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: an exceptional segment.
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: Please please do more? All right?
- 1:22:03Speaker 6: I think people just like hearing Tyler in pain well
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: to that point, and I would love to get some
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: more edible things in there, yes, yeah, yes.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: And maybe something that gurgles or something that he would
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: have to talk while gargling. Again.
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the launch of this segment. It's young, yeah,
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: it's young.
- 1:22:21Speaker 4: Now that the room has an idea of what it
- 1:22:23Speaker 4: could be, we could amp it up right.
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: Yeah. There's also feedback from yesterday what we did with
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: your would you rather? Seven? Oh one, says Fremenace on
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: your would You're rather? A segment? Incest is a felony
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: in most places in North Dakota. It's a Class C
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: felony up to five years in jail and a ten
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: thousand dollars fine, yeah, but.
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: That's like if you sought to do it now. The
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: would you rather?
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: Was?
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: It was an extreme one.
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: Would you rather find out that you married your sibling
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: or accidentally kill your parents? And everyone said, there your sibling,
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: But again, you didn't know until after you were married.
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: So I don't know what's up with that textor but
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: I do, I do, Yeah, I do have some more
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: would you rathers if you want to play always. Okay,
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: now here's one again. It has to do with guys.
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: What would you rather have? And then ladies what would
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: you rather deal with? Okay, so here here we go.
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: Would you rather have penis sized nipples or a nipple
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: sized penis?
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:23:32Speaker 6: Damn, the ladies already have a nipplesized penis?
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: Would you rather have a penis?
- 1:23:40Speaker 5: A guy?
- 1:23:40Speaker 8: Like?
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: I get it for the guy.
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: So you know, if you got to do naked, would
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: you want him to have penis sized nipples?
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: Easy?
- 1:23:49Speaker 6: Really easy?
- 1:23:50Speaker 10: Well, yeah, you would pick the penis sized nipples because
- 1:23:52Speaker 10: you can just get them removed.
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: Now they can't be removed.
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: Would you.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: Now may ask for clarification, menace, Do these nips that
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: are that size? Do they behave like a wiener? Would?
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: Are they just growing right now? I think they're just yeah,
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: just size placid.
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: Well it's pretty obvious then, because you can't do anything
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: with a girl that. I mean, you can do some things, obviously,
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: but you can't do the kind of things that.
- 1:24:22Speaker 4: So you're going with the penis sized nipples right because you.
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: Would you wear shape wear?
- 1:24:27Speaker 10: You would Oh my god, you could satisfy three women
- 1:24:30Speaker 10: at once.
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: They're just that was the point of my question.
- 1:24:34Speaker 13: They're not functional.
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: Ask me all the wrong questions the regular nipples.
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: They're just the size of a penis.
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: Okay, I think this is a really easy answer. As
- 1:24:45Speaker 6: a woman in no world could I look at a
- 1:24:48Speaker 6: guy with penis sized nipples. I'm I couldn't look at them,
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: I couldn't touch them, I couldn't be in the same
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: room with them. That We'll figure out other things if
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: you with what you mean though, right? What so, I
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: can see him in his brazier.
- 1:25:04Speaker 13: Flopping around. You can you can take a nipple sized
- 1:25:08Speaker 13: penis and figure it out.
- 1:25:09Speaker 6: Yeah, you'll figure it You'll figure it out.
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: Yeah, because he a helicopter. There's a difference between figuring
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: it out once and there's no there's no return.
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: I can't live with with penis nibble.
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: I think Sammy could deal with the I can see
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: if anybody in this room, I could see Sammy be
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: like a sexless marriage. Yeah, that's what I'm pretty much
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: I can see that. I agree. I thank you. Okay, So, dude,
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: now I don't think you've given your final answer.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: Greg, I'm going yeah, I'm gonna go penis sized nipples
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: because you, yeah, they have what are they sports braws
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: or whatever the hell that is. It's like a tank
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: top essentially tap them down.
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: Okay, now your spouse has them, not you. You have
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: to look at them and rather with what we're talking about.
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: Well, I'm still saying nipples because you could just wear
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: tape and a shirt and a tank top and all
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: this stuff.
- 1:26:04Speaker 6: But what if he's like, come out of the pool
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: and they're flopping around.
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: The shame wouldn't allow him to even take.
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: A shirt off? What does and does wear a swim shirt? Yeah,
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: but they're gonna be poking on them swim shirts.
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: Yeah, well they'll be flopping around.
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: All right, Okay, I have I have one other one.
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: Let me see. Okay, all right, it's bad.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: Would you rather have sex with the goat in complete
- 1:26:30Speaker 4: secrecy or not have sex with a goat but tell
- 1:26:35Speaker 4: everybody publicly that you did?
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a classic. Easy, that's a classic easy.
- 1:26:40Speaker 10: I'm not doing it and I'm telling people I did it. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:26:43Speaker 10: you can get over what people think about you.
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: You constantly have to tell people you did it like
- 1:26:47Speaker 4: you just met them.
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: Every time each new person. Yeah, they'll say, they'll say, Okay,
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: that's funny, and he's like, no, no, no, set you
- 1:26:58Speaker 3: have to go for real, No, no, for real, I
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: did do it.
- 1:27:02Speaker 10: I did this segment one time where I had to
- 1:27:03Speaker 10: do it.
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:27:04Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm still sticking with my gut my answer.
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: No, No, you didn't do a segment you you chose to.
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: This was yes.
- 1:27:10Speaker 10: You guys are acting like I don't understand this.
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: You don't because you literally just said I did a
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: segment where I had to do it.
- 1:27:17Speaker 10: It was a joke.
- 1:27:18Speaker 13: No, but you're coming up with workarounds.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: This just straight Yeah. I don't think you get it.
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: You you did it and you have to stand Yeah, show,
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: I'll make a decision, you'll go.
- 1:27:28Speaker 10: Then.
- 1:27:30Speaker 6: I think it's for Morgan. I think this is different
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: for a woman because, like I think the stakes are
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: higher for a woman, you know what I mean?
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: Yeah, because guys have gross and they don't care like okay, cool,
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: and there are contries where this happens.
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: I mean, if you're a guy, you know, getting getting
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: intimate with a goat, it's different than a lady having
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: to get intimate with a goat. Right, So if I
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: was a guy, goat all day.
- 1:27:55Speaker 10: But you're not the lives, you don't get the game,
- 1:27:57Speaker 10: you're not a guy, you're a girl.
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: Okay, So in that case, that's a tough one. I
- 1:28:04Speaker 6: think I would also have to go door to door.
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: Instead of actually just dealing it one time.
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't understand, nobody will even Yeah it sounds
- 1:28:19Speaker 4: like Greg's leaning that way.
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: I am.
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to bang.
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: It got easier.
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: Guys do this stuff all the time, they just don't.
- 1:28:28Speaker 3: Talk about it.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: Bang to make a whole night of it.
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: Every relationship you have, your parents, you.
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: Would tell your parents, but you would tell them, Oh,
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: I had a gun to my head and they were
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: going to kill me if I didn't. What what I
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: don't get?
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: No, all right, I'm going I'm going to bang the goat.
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: Cool.
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: I think the ladies will probably tell everyone they bang
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: the goat, and the guys will actually bang the goat.
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah for sure.
- 1:28:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:28:55Speaker 3: Yeah even if I was a woman though, because you
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: can't you can't have a public job.
- 1:28:59Speaker 6: You can't be Yeah, yeah that could be your job,
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: tell the goat banger, because.
- 1:29:04Speaker 3: Because then if you did have a po job, that
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: be every interview. Yeah, but there's a billion gross guys
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: that will still.
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: Like have sex with you and like be in a
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: relationship with you, even if you're like saying, you know what,
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: saying all day that you had sex with the goat.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: I'm sticking to my I'm gonna bang the goat even more.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: Because there there was this girl that I went to
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: in high school. I remember her name, but I'm not
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: going to say it out loud. There was a rumor
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: going around that was one hundred made up, untrue that
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: she pleasured herself via a hot dog.
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: Okay, you went to college with Sammy, Yeah.
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: And it ruined her life basically, Like to this day,
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: people call her, you know, hot dog girl. Imagine if
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: it's a goat and you're gonna for the rest of
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: your days.
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: I wonder if there's a way to rebrand it, like
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: that's right, Like, yeah, I try, and.
- 1:30:00Speaker 13: Now you're like in goat cheese commercials.
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: Yea, yeah, I just don't go anywhere. The Woody Show
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: will be right back.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: The Woody Show. And we're back on the Woody Show.
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: It's been a fun morning, it's been a crazy morning. Yeah,
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: I feel weird, and I don't know if you guys
- 1:30:19Speaker 6: have seen this clip that's been making the rounds again.
- 1:30:21Speaker 6: I don't know why it's happening again, because this clip
- 1:30:23Speaker 6: is two years old, but I've so many people have
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: sent it to me, and I'm seeing it everywhere. It's
- 1:30:28Speaker 6: of Marlon Wayans, and I can't stop thinking about it.
- 1:30:32Speaker 6: He said this thing in twenty twenty four in this
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: interview with The New York Times. That just keeps rattling
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: around in my head. I need to hear what you
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: guys think of it.
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: I never got married because I never wanted my mother
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: to be jealous of a woman. I never wanted my
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: mother to feel second to any woman.
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: I told my mother on a deathbed, I.
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: Said, I never got married because I always wanted you
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: to be my number one girl.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: And people are like, oh, yeah, oh, I mean it's sweet,
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: but it's also almost creepy in a way.
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: Would your mom want that for you?
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: It's also entirely impractical. Yeah, yeah, I know.
- 1:31:07Speaker 6: There's like ten or twelve Wayans kids, so maybe that
- 1:31:11Speaker 6: you know, you could spare one or two from getting married,
- 1:31:13Speaker 6: I guess. But is that something that a parent would
- 1:31:15Speaker 6: ever say, like, no, I'm your number.
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: One girl, right?
- 1:31:18Speaker 6: That would be so weird yeah, and okay, so there's
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: this term. It's a therapy term. So I know Sea
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: Bass knows it in meshment when you're like super like
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: all tangled up in the life of your parents vice versa. Yeah,
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: it's called enmeshment. And it's like when basically the boundaries
- 1:31:35Speaker 6: are super gray or there are no boundaries between a
- 1:31:38Speaker 6: parent and a kid.
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: Oh I know, mama boys, Okay, that's what we're talking about.
- 1:31:42Speaker 4: They hang out with their mom so much where you
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: feel like, wait, couple, are they in the relationship.
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: I take it a step further, even if it gets
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: strange when in laws tell like if Spicy Nacho's mom
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: told you menace call me mom, I think that.
- 1:32:00Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I don't call my love because it.
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: Implies that.
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: I have many people like that. But just the yeah,
- 1:32:09Speaker 3: where it's just like I don't know samu level.
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: No, I'm just kidding.
- 1:32:13Speaker 13: I live still live with my parents and we do
- 1:32:17Speaker 13: everything together.
- 1:32:19Speaker 8: No.
- 1:32:19Speaker 4: No, we give sam a hard time. But you just
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: have a really close relationship with your family, which is cool.
- 1:32:25Speaker 6: Someone say, Okay, so let's find out because you say,
- 1:32:29Speaker 6: you know dudes like this, are any of these dudes
- 1:32:31Speaker 6: in relationships?
- 1:32:32Speaker 8: No?
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: I feel the relationships with theirs or they have relationships
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: that don't.
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: Last that long.
- 1:32:39Speaker 6: Okay, that makes sense.
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: So I.
- 1:32:43Speaker 6: Know for a fact, anecdotally and just percentage wise, that
- 1:32:46Speaker 6: there are people listening right now that are dealing with
- 1:32:49Speaker 6: this with their spouse. And here are the top five
- 1:32:53Speaker 6: red flags that you might be in a relationship with
- 1:32:56Speaker 6: somebody that has like real enmeshment probs with their parents.
- 1:33:00Speaker 6: So number one, thinking that the parent, like let's say
- 1:33:05Speaker 6: Greg and I are married, thinking that Greg's parent has
- 1:33:07Speaker 6: veto power in my relationship with Greg. So your partner
- 1:33:11Speaker 6: cannot make big life decisions like buying a car, or
- 1:33:14Speaker 6: moving or changing jobs or checking in, yeah, even picking
- 1:33:17Speaker 6: a vacation spot. And if they don't like it, you
- 1:33:19Speaker 6: don't do it as the partner of this person, like
- 1:33:23Speaker 6: Greg's like Gina, my mom just really just we should
- 1:33:25Speaker 6: go to Paris.
- 1:33:27Speaker 4: Like, I think it does happen with women, but it
- 1:33:30Speaker 4: happens way more with dudes. Where dudes are dislike with
- 1:33:33Speaker 4: their moms. Yeah, they're being controlled by their parents. I mean,
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: I'm not saying that it doesn't happen with women. You
- 1:33:39Speaker 4: do hear about this, you know once in a while where.
- 1:33:42Speaker 6: They like, you know, or like the mom and the
- 1:33:44Speaker 6: wife and the mom gang up on the husband.
- 1:33:47Speaker 4: Yeah, or even the even the dad, like the dad
- 1:33:50Speaker 4: is seen as like we watch bailing out loud.
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: Yeah, like the dad.
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: The dad is obsessed with her to the point and
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: it's almost unhealthy.
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: Where Yeah, like they always have to get his approval,
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: like pretty much anything that they do.
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: Are you caught up on Bailan, By the way, I am.
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: I feel like they almost encourage more disorder.
- 1:34:10Speaker 4: Well, that's what people want to and they encourage saying
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: the parents that cause drama within the risk.
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: Yeah, because right before you know it's it's we're coming
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: up on their big wedding and Bayleen's mom is almost
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: goading her. She said, So, Bailen, how are you feeling? Oh,
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: I'm nervous and it also excited. But how are you feeling?
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: Do you think this will bring on a tick attack?
- 1:34:29Speaker 5: You know?
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: Are you for reality? Okay?
- 1:34:34Speaker 6: Does Sammy? You may be guilty of this one. I
- 1:34:36Speaker 6: don't know, but I want you to just take it
- 1:34:38Speaker 6: in and see they talk or text or FaceTime their
- 1:34:41Speaker 6: parents multiple times.
- 1:34:43Speaker 5: A day, multiple times a day, you know, but it
- 1:34:45Speaker 5: could be one you know, hour long conversation.
- 1:34:48Speaker 6: Okay, but if you say you have, say you see
- 1:34:51Speaker 6: two missed calls from your mom, do you panic, like,
- 1:34:53Speaker 6: oh my god, I can't believe I mis or she's
- 1:34:55Speaker 6: gonna be so mad. I feel so guilty.
- 1:34:56Speaker 13: No, no, no, no one's gonna be mad or guilty
- 1:34:59Speaker 13: calling him chat.
- 1:35:00Speaker 6: Like sometimes if I miss a call for my mom,
- 1:35:02Speaker 6: I'm like, oh, I'm going to hear about this.
- 1:35:05Speaker 4: Calls my grandmother every day and wants to talk for hours,
- 1:35:11Speaker 4: and my grandmother will like.
- 1:35:12Speaker 3: Not pick up the phone. Yeah, Grandma, I just can't
- 1:35:18Speaker 3: do it today.
- 1:35:20Speaker 6: Here's another one. The partner treats your partner like a
- 1:35:23Speaker 6: best friend or even a I'm sorry. The parent treats
- 1:35:26Speaker 6: your partner like a best friend or a spouse, so
- 1:35:28Speaker 6: like their partner feels a big responsibility to manage their
- 1:35:31Speaker 6: loneliness or their happiness or their feelings. Like I'd love
- 1:35:34Speaker 6: to go out to dinner, but like, I don't know
- 1:35:36Speaker 6: my mom was going to come over. She'll be really
- 1:35:38Speaker 6: sad if she doesn't like to be alone. I don't know.
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: So the parent becomes a third wheel correct or like
- 1:35:45Speaker 2: that's a red flag.
- 1:35:46Speaker 6: It's our anniversary. So my mom and I are going
- 1:35:49Speaker 6: to go shopping, but it's your in my anniversary.
- 1:35:51Speaker 13: I don't really think that's not much of a red flag,
- 1:35:53Speaker 13: to be honest.
- 1:35:54Speaker 10: Likely, yeah, because.
- 1:35:55Speaker 5: I wouldn't want my parent to be lonely, Like anyone's
- 1:35:59Speaker 5: welcome if we're doing something, if we're going to dinner
- 1:36:01Speaker 5: and they're there, come.
- 1:36:02Speaker 6: But what if your spouse was like, you just have
- 1:36:06Speaker 6: a dinner just the two of us.
- 1:36:08Speaker 13: Yeah, I mean, if it happens all the time, that's.
- 1:36:10Speaker 4: One thing, But okay, let's just talk about your like
- 1:36:13Speaker 4: actual relationship anniversary.
- 1:36:16Speaker 3: Is that okay to have your parents come along.
- 1:36:18Speaker 6: On that, Like they want to take you.
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: You have many more days in the year, that's true,
- 1:36:23Speaker 3: they want to.
- 1:36:24Speaker 6: Take it romantic.
- 1:36:26Speaker 5: With that much pressure on an anniversary in general, what
- 1:36:29Speaker 5: if it was a big deal to your guy, Like
- 1:36:32Speaker 5: what if he was planning a really nice dinner but
- 1:36:34Speaker 5: your parents insist.
- 1:36:34Speaker 2: On taking you would do the anniversary dinner just the
- 1:36:38Speaker 2: two of you, and an anniversary dinner with the parents.
- 1:36:44Speaker 3: I mean, she is fast, Sammy, but that's too much food.
- 1:36:52Speaker 6: As many people know, this would be like my absolute
- 1:36:55Speaker 6: deal breaker. The parent has full access to your life,
- 1:36:58Speaker 6: so this includes having keys, to your house, dropping by unannounced,
- 1:37:01Speaker 6: opening your mail, rearranging your living space, like when you're
- 1:37:04Speaker 6: gone and coming home, be like, I just let.
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: The couch look if it stopped it. Having keys great, yeah,
- 1:37:08Speaker 2: the rest of them. Yeah, but the rest of that's
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: I think almost a safety thing or a convenience thing.
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: If you lock yourself out or if you're out of town,
- 1:37:16Speaker 2: hey I need you to go do something.
- 1:37:17Speaker 6: He's just because like again, maybe they're lonely and they
- 1:37:19Speaker 6: like to do pop in.
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: He's not a red flag. But if they're rearranging anything, or.
- 1:37:25Speaker 13: I'd yeah, Sammy, don't rearrange my furniture.
- 1:37:29Speaker 5: I'm with Greg, but I've had I always have a
- 1:37:31Speaker 5: lock box where everybody in my family knows the code
- 1:37:34Speaker 5: and you can get into my place anytime, whether I'm
- 1:37:37Speaker 5: there or not.
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: I have the keys to my in law's house.
- 1:37:40Speaker 6: I have nobody's keys, and I'm not your person.
- 1:37:43Speaker 3: And they can have keys in my house.
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 1:37:44Speaker 3: Well.
- 1:37:45Speaker 6: Finally, intrusive comparison. Now you hear about this and stand up.
- 1:37:50Speaker 6: You hear about this online a lot, so I know
- 1:37:51Speaker 6: people are going through this. Your partner constantly compares your cooking.
- 1:37:55Speaker 6: You're cleaning your lifestyle, your career, your parenting to the
- 1:37:58Speaker 6: way their parents do it, and they held that parent
- 1:38:01Speaker 6: up is the ultimate example. They're flawless, so you have
- 1:38:04Speaker 6: to live up to their idea of their favorite parents.
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: I would find that less annoying than if they compared
- 1:38:09Speaker 2: everything you do to their ax. Oh, like the parent thing.
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: You should hold your parents in high regard. I don't
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: think that's too good.
- 1:38:16Speaker 3: And a lot of those skills have just absolutely gone
- 1:38:19Speaker 3: to the toilet in the past two generations.
- 1:38:20Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, all these ladies, uh, don't be cooking no
- 1:38:24Speaker 4: more right, no say menace. Yeah, they don't be up
- 1:38:26Speaker 4: in the kitchen like no spicy nacho. She's always up
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: in the The only the only thing that I would
- 1:38:34Speaker 4: can in any part of life that I would compare
- 1:38:37Speaker 4: my mom and her too, is I do love my
- 1:38:40Speaker 4: mom's mashed potatoes, like she makes solid mashed potatoes, and
- 1:38:44Speaker 4: that's the way I like them. And if they don't
- 1:38:47Speaker 4: hit the same, then I will. I'll compare. But everything else,
- 1:38:51Speaker 4: but compare you won't like.
- 1:38:52Speaker 6: Cry into your plate, be like mommy?
- 1:38:54Speaker 2: You know booth No.
- 1:38:57Speaker 6: Well, those are just a couple of warning signs to
- 1:38:58Speaker 6: think about. If you've been like, I don't know, it
- 1:39:00Speaker 6: sums off in this relationship. Just something to think about.
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: All right, Well, we are getting the red flag from
- 1:39:05Speaker 2: Sammy to take a break. We're going to go up
- 1:39:07Speaker 2: in the clubs with DJ Tim Martinez next on The
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: Woody Show Show. All right, it's a throwback Thursday here
- 1:39:16Speaker 2: on The Woody Show. And we've reached the time of
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: the week. That's not just my favorite, let's face it,
- 1:39:22Speaker 2: it's the world's favorite. Yes, this is when we welcome
- 1:39:25Speaker 2: in Gina. You have his official title that I have
- 1:39:28Speaker 2: not memorized.
- 1:39:28Speaker 6: I got it right here, the pride of a coma,
- 1:39:30Speaker 6: the senior VP and managing partner of Club Turn Up
- 1:39:33Speaker 6: and Woody's legal boyfriend in life partner Tim bar.
- 1:39:43Speaker 3: In the building. What is going on almost all of
- 1:39:46Speaker 3: the Woody Show? Yea almost us. Oh, you know, I
- 1:39:51Speaker 3: mean it's popping. We're doing We're doing big things out there.
- 1:39:55Speaker 3: I love the Target.
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: You haven't actually you haven't been there recently. It kind
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: of makes me a little sad.
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: Yeah. He would call me every time. He'd be like like, dude, Target,
- 1:40:05Speaker 3: I'm in your hood.
- 1:40:06Speaker 2: Yeah, you're good for you.
- 1:40:08Speaker 3: I just I just last time I went there, I
- 1:40:11Speaker 3: bought so many vapens. I haven't need to gone back
- 1:40:15Speaker 3: for a while. You know, but you guys would love
- 1:40:17Speaker 3: you would love shouts of lemonade. You would love the.
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: Target in because there's literally probably right outside on the
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: on the sidewalk. I would say, fifteen food vendors more
- 1:40:29Speaker 1: than it's open air market.
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: It is so good.
- 1:40:35Speaker 2: What what's your go to vape shop?
- 1:40:38Speaker 6: There?
- 1:40:38Speaker 3: Lemonade? It's down the.
- 1:40:39Speaker 2: Street from.
- 1:40:42Speaker 6: What's your go to food vendor?
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: Outside? You know, there's there's a taco There's one taco
- 1:40:46Speaker 1: stand and I I don't know the name of it,
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: but it is so good.
- 1:40:51Speaker 3: It's close. It's close to the the Palless shoe store.
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: So good. Ye driveway is it a yeah?
- 1:41:00Speaker 6: Shell would let us and cheese and sour cream, the
- 1:41:03Speaker 6: real one.
- 1:41:06Speaker 3: We're trying to get you.
- 1:41:08Speaker 6: White people taco night.
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: Well tim uh, I know that normally we were doing
- 1:41:12Speaker 2: Tim at this point, but Jeff g is with Woody. Okay,
- 1:41:16Speaker 2: do you feel cheated on.
- 1:41:20Speaker 3: A little bit?
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: I feel like I'm sharing Woody a little bit. A
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: little too much has been here.
- 1:41:25Speaker 3: I get that, but I am confident. Don't you want
- 1:41:29Speaker 3: to be in Cleveland right now. But I am confident
- 1:41:33Speaker 3: that Woody will always come home to me.
- 1:41:36Speaker 6: You're still the bottom, bitch, don't.
- 1:41:39Speaker 2: And we were talking about this earlier, and you would
- 1:41:42Speaker 2: know better than anyone, because you guys kiss. Did wood
- 1:41:45Speaker 2: he get in visil line? Yeah? Because I think maybe
- 1:41:48Speaker 2: he did. I think.
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: I thought nought.
- 1:41:52Speaker 3: I could be wrong on that.
- 1:41:53Speaker 6: See, everyone's getting it, and so we didn't know if
- 1:41:55Speaker 6: like it infected him as well.
- 1:41:57Speaker 3: Right, I don't think it's been of recent.
- 1:41:59Speaker 6: Okay, maybe.
- 1:42:02Speaker 3: Even because once in a while he does get that lisp.
- 1:42:06Speaker 2: Yeah he does. And then the light was hitting his
- 1:42:09Speaker 2: glistening teeth just the right way the other day and
- 1:42:12Speaker 2: it looked shinier than your normal, like like the way
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: that a plastic would shine. I just I just got interesting.
- 1:42:19Speaker 3: He's perfect regardless. Yeah, maybe he doesn't want to tell me.
- 1:42:24Speaker 2: Just the other day, I wish he would skip a
- 1:42:26Speaker 2: few meals. Those are your words.
- 1:42:29Speaker 3: You don't don't do that. Don't do that. I've never
- 1:42:35Speaker 3: said that.
- 1:42:35Speaker 2: Don't do that way. So let's go up in the clerk.
- 1:42:39Speaker 2: Since I'm not doing tim, We're gonna go up in
- 1:42:41Speaker 2: the great all good. Uh.
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: First of all, I'm gonna get to the song. But
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: I also I'm gonna throw it to you because I'm obsessed.
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: I can't stop thinking about how you are the Wikipedia
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: of the Woody.
- 1:42:54Speaker 3: Show like the.
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: Archives.
- 1:42:58Speaker 3: Yes, and I love that.
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: So we you're gonna go with I'm gonna say the
- 1:43:01Speaker 1: song okay, and then I don't know if you need
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: to think about it over the song or are you
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: that quick that you can give me date.
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: The last time.
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: No, I'm not that quick. I'll just type it into
- 1:43:12Speaker 2: the search bar and it'll take me to when you
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: did it.
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: Okay, we're going with this week, We're gonna do Shannon,
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: let the music play. Yeah, and that is the year
- 1:43:21Speaker 1: of nineteen eighty three music.
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: Okay, wait, no, I got the last time we played
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: that was let's see Thursday obviously January twenty third, twenty
- 1:43:38Speaker 2: twenty five, a year and a half ago.
- 1:43:41Speaker 3: A year and a half ago.
- 1:43:43Speaker 6: What else did we do that?
- 1:43:45Speaker 2: We got ideas for Morgan's Daar for Dollars, which was
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: the Lego challenge that's up for her, do a feat
- 1:43:53Speaker 2: and full video on OnlyFans, poop in a garbage can
- 1:43:57Speaker 2: like Sammy once did, and put a spider on her face.
- 1:44:00Speaker 2: Those were some of the ideas. Let's see the day
- 1:44:04Speaker 2: before that was National Hot Sauce Day. Of course it
- 1:44:07Speaker 2: was nice. And let's see what else do we do
- 1:44:10Speaker 2: that day? Uh, you can still use TikTok if you
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: already had it, but it's not back up on the
- 1:44:16Speaker 2: app store.
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: Whoa you remember that time, right? Yeah? Yeah, it was
- 1:44:21Speaker 3: going everybody was going crazy. The world basically stopped.
- 1:44:25Speaker 2: That was a dark day. So now the cat's out
- 1:44:30Speaker 2: of the bag. But again, refresher memory. Today's up in
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: the club.
- 1:44:32Speaker 3: We're going let the music play. Shannon Show, Thursday.
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: Show, Gina, stop your dance. Moons are going to turn
- 1:44:47Speaker 2: me straight. I will get DJ Tim Martine. Is always
- 1:44:55Speaker 2: a pleasure to see you, my God. It's so good guys.
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: And we will see you in a week from today
- 1:45:00Speaker 2: and I will write down whatever song you play, and
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: then hopefully, god willing, we're still here years from now
- 1:45:06Speaker 2: and you can say, what do we play on Remember
- 1:45:11Speaker 2: August of twenty six on that great day? God, those
- 1:45:13Speaker 2: were good days. Well, we love you to him, thank you,
- 1:45:16Speaker 2: love you back. We're doing We're doing it. We're doing it,
- 1:45:24Speaker 2: Woody Show, we are doing it. We're doing the Woody
- 1:45:27Speaker 2: Show on a throwback Thursday, we are continue.
- 1:45:30Speaker 4: To do it.
- 1:45:31Speaker 3: Oh yeah, doing it all day.
- 1:45:33Speaker 4: Did you guys see the story did we cover it
- 1:45:36Speaker 4: where there was thirty thousand dollars left in a wah
- 1:45:40Speaker 4: wah bathroom. But some guy, this guy's a Pokemon collector, naturally,
- 1:45:45Speaker 4: and he had a bunch of cash on him, allegedly
- 1:45:47Speaker 4: not for Pokemon collecting. He confirmed that it was for
- 1:45:51Speaker 4: a family emergency that he needed thirty thousand dollars. Maybe
- 1:45:55Speaker 4: one of his cousins got kidnapped, I don't know, whatever,
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: but he went to take it, and he left the
- 1:46:01Speaker 4: thirty thousand dollars in the wall wall as you do,
- 1:46:04Speaker 4: and some guy found it.
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: Now here's the part. Do you buy it?
- 1:46:07Speaker 4: So this guy finds it and then he starts searching
- 1:46:11Speaker 4: for the guy to give it back, and he's like
- 1:46:13Speaker 4: looking all over the parking lot, everything, can't find the guy.
- 1:46:16Speaker 4: So he eventually just takes the money home, doesn't spend
- 1:46:19Speaker 4: any the money, doesn't do anything with it. But the
- 1:46:21Speaker 4: cops eventually identified the man that found the money. They
- 1:46:26Speaker 4: contacted him. It's like, oh, I'm happy you found me
- 1:46:29Speaker 4: because I wanted to give the money back to the guy.
- 1:46:31Speaker 2: I just didn't know who to turn it to.
- 1:46:33Speaker 3: Yeah, well, it's basically he found that it was a
- 1:46:35Speaker 3: fanny pack. Just it wasn't just lose cash, so yeah,
- 1:46:37Speaker 3: that makes a little difference. But he knew it was money,
- 1:46:38Speaker 3: that's for sure. Yeah. So then he gave it back,
- 1:46:41Speaker 3: everything is all good.
- 1:46:42Speaker 4: Do you buy ites or no? That he wasn't going
- 1:46:45Speaker 4: to spend that money. I mean there was video of
- 1:46:48Speaker 4: him looking for the owner of the fanny pack, so
- 1:46:51Speaker 4: I mean by that.
- 1:46:53Speaker 6: Yeah, I think he would have spent it already, or
- 1:46:54Speaker 6: at least started to.
- 1:46:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Right, he was just waiting it out to think,
- 1:46:58Speaker 2: like anybody, is this going to become a thing? I
- 1:47:00Speaker 2: spend it? You know, is anybody looking for it?
- 1:47:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:47:02Speaker 4: I don't know how long would you hold on to that?
- 1:47:04Speaker 4: I mean, you're supposed to contact the cops, but I've.
- 1:47:08Speaker 6: Been seeing a lot of it goes into evidence.
- 1:47:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:47:12Speaker 2: I've been seeing so many commercials lately of the mom
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: who forgets her baby in the car and then she
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: runs back crying, and it says, oh, it can happen.
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: If you don't think it can happen, it can happen.
- 1:47:21Speaker 2: And I think, how how, yeah, do you leave thousands
- 1:47:25Speaker 2: can you forget your baby in the car? How could
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: you forget? Oh? Yeah, that's right, I'm carrying around thirty
- 1:47:32Speaker 2: thousand dollars.
- 1:47:33Speaker 4: Would I have one hundred dollars on me? My palms
- 1:47:36Speaker 4: are sweating, yeah, in my because my hand is in
- 1:47:40Speaker 4: my pocket and holding onto it.
- 1:47:41Speaker 2: I once sold a car for two thousand, six hundred
- 1:47:43Speaker 2: dollars and it got cash for it. I was freaking
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: out on my way to the bank. I have two
- 1:47:48Speaker 2: thousand dollars in my pocket.
- 1:47:49Speaker 6: Look normal, look cool.
- 1:47:53Speaker 3: With it leaving it in a walla.
- 1:47:55Speaker 4: But I did want to ask you, have you ever
- 1:47:57Speaker 4: found any money?
- 1:47:59Speaker 2: The most I ever found in one finding was twenty dollars,
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: and it was at a public transit like a train station,
- 1:48:06Speaker 2: and I didn't want it to be obvious, like, oh, look,
- 1:48:09Speaker 2: twenty dollars, so I pretended that I had to tie
- 1:48:12Speaker 2: my shoe. So I stepped on the twenty dollars bill,
- 1:48:14Speaker 2: reached down, pretended to tie my shoe, and then whoops,
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: that track took the twenty dollars bill.
- 1:48:19Speaker 3: I believe that, and I was stoked.
- 1:48:21Speaker 2: That was the most I ever found twenty.
- 1:48:23Speaker 3: Bus I found a got cell phone in a gas
- 1:48:25Speaker 3: station bathroom and I took it back to the front desk. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:48:30Speaker 3: but it was it was gross cash wise. Now I
- 1:48:34Speaker 3: found I found a wallet outside the Hooters down down
- 1:48:37Speaker 3: the street here, and I turned that back into I
- 1:48:39Speaker 3: found the woman's ID.
- 1:48:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:48:41Speaker 3: Now, she unfortunately was not a Hooter's waitress.
- 1:48:45Speaker 2: She was leaving that.
- 1:48:47Speaker 3: She left her. She left her like it was one
- 1:48:48Speaker 3: of those big fat wallets of women have that have
- 1:48:50Speaker 3: a thousand things on them.
- 1:48:51Speaker 6: Yeah, like the billfold, the podcast book.
- 1:48:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it felt like fell out the top of her
- 1:48:54Speaker 3: car or something stupid like that. And I know someone
- 1:48:58Speaker 3: found five hundred dollars of month on a subway platform
- 1:49:01Speaker 3: in Atlanta because I was like Messa saying, you get you,
- 1:49:06Speaker 3: you overdo it, you play yourself. So I was like,
- 1:49:09Speaker 3: I'm gonna put this in my sock in like a
- 1:49:12Speaker 3: little separate mini billfold. And I was thinking, well, like
- 1:49:15Speaker 3: and they could have returned that five hundred dollars to me,
- 1:49:18Speaker 3: except that it was in the same little mini bullfol
- 1:49:21Speaker 3: billfold that had my fake ID. Oh no, they looked
- 1:49:24Speaker 3: up you know my name in Pierre, South Dakota. Yeah,
- 1:49:28Speaker 3: sol Well, I've.
- 1:49:30Speaker 6: Never found any money, But what happened to me last
- 1:49:32Speaker 6: year that I think I told you guys was I
- 1:49:34Speaker 6: dropped my purse in the middle of a field in Iceland,
- 1:49:39Speaker 6: near nothing and nobody, and because the Icelandic people are
- 1:49:43Speaker 6: so unbelievably cool, I got it back with all the
- 1:49:46Speaker 6: money in it. Wow, all the cash, I d everything.
- 1:49:50Speaker 2: I kind of wallet once and I sent it back
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: as the woman's idea was in there. She was so sweet.
- 1:49:54Speaker 2: She mailed me. I can't remember how she got my address.
- 1:49:57Speaker 2: I think we were corresponding it because I had found
- 1:49:59Speaker 2: her w She sent me a little envelope full of
- 1:50:01Speaker 2: two dollars bills. Nice.
- 1:50:03Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:50:05Speaker 4: When I was working at a grocery store and I
- 1:50:07Speaker 4: was putting the carts back sea Bass, I found a
- 1:50:11Speaker 4: wallet in there and had a couple hundred bucks in it,
- 1:50:14Speaker 4: and I take it to the office where we had
- 1:50:16Speaker 4: our accountant for the grocery store, and she's like, oh,
- 1:50:20Speaker 4: just leave it here. I was like, oh no, it
- 1:50:21Speaker 4: has her ID so like old school, I called four
- 1:50:24Speaker 4: on one and I gave the information and they gave
- 1:50:26Speaker 4: me the lady's phone number. I called her and she
- 1:50:28Speaker 4: showed up and we weren't because.
- 1:50:31Speaker 3: I was part of like a grocery union. We're not
- 1:50:33Speaker 3: allowed to take any money.
- 1:50:34Speaker 4: So I was like, oh, no, you can have it,
- 1:50:36Speaker 4: and she's she's like, okay, thank you so much, because
- 1:50:40Speaker 4: I'm buying my BMW this week, maybe like six dollars
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: an hour. And but she goes, I'm a manager at
- 1:50:47Speaker 4: Wilson's Leather and if you need a discount. But I
- 1:50:56Speaker 4: also found some money when I was storkling in Maui
- 1:50:59Speaker 4: in water. I think I've shared the story. It was
- 1:51:02Speaker 4: just like waving at me and I found one hundred bucks.
- 1:51:04Speaker 3: That way, like wet, soggy bill.
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I was just floating. I thought it was like
- 1:51:08Speaker 4: seaweed or something, but it was actual money. And they said, yeah,
- 1:51:11Speaker 4: money's been popping up in the water.
- 1:51:12Speaker 2: I would have spent the rest of my life just
- 1:51:14Speaker 2: swimming around rules.
- 1:51:16Speaker 4: One story I have never shared is I was working
- 1:51:19Speaker 4: at a bar when I was doing radio and it
- 1:51:21Speaker 4: was New Year's and there was a gigantic bar fight
- 1:51:24Speaker 4: that broke out, so they cleared out the bar and
- 1:51:27Speaker 4: there was four hundred dollars like at one of the
- 1:51:30Speaker 4: like VIP tables, and I just I just took that
- 1:51:33Speaker 4: four hundred bucks and I shared it with the other
- 1:51:36Speaker 4: bartender because we didn't make any more tips.
- 1:51:38Speaker 6: For the Yeah, on account of the fight.
- 1:51:40Speaker 5: I found one time I found like greg twenty dollars,
- 1:51:43Speaker 5: but I was eleven, so it was a very big
- 1:51:46Speaker 5: deal at eleven years old. And we were shopping, me
- 1:51:49Speaker 5: and two of my siblings shopping at Walmart with my mom,
- 1:51:52Speaker 5: just walking up and down the aisles wherever, and I
- 1:51:55Speaker 5: just looked down and right there on the floor in
- 1:51:57Speaker 5: the middle of Walmart was a twenty dollars bill.
- 1:51:59Speaker 13: And I picked it up and I was like, oh
- 1:52:01Speaker 13: my god, twenty dollars is awesome.
- 1:52:02Speaker 5: So then my brother at the same time, was like
- 1:52:05Speaker 5: hunting now, right now, he wants to find money on
- 1:52:07Speaker 5: the ground because I just found money on the ground,
- 1:52:08Speaker 5: And we had another sister with us who was like.
- 1:52:11Speaker 13: She already found it, You're not gonna find more.
- 1:52:13Speaker 5: He walks down the next aisle finds another twenty dollars
- 1:52:16Speaker 5: on the floor.
- 1:52:17Speaker 13: So someone was just walking around dropping twenties at Walmart.
- 1:52:20Speaker 6: Yeah, and you got to keep it. Your mom wasn't like, now, bring.
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: It to the cash.
- 1:52:23Speaker 5: We did get to keep it because there was no
- 1:52:25Speaker 5: idea or anything with it, and it was like, whoever
- 1:52:27Speaker 5: you hate it to is just gonna pocket it themselves,
- 1:52:30Speaker 5: so you might as well, yeah, hell yeah.
- 1:52:32Speaker 3: To keep it.
- 1:52:33Speaker 2: Poor Sammy in her terrible life.
- 1:52:34Speaker 4: And.
