- 0:02Speaker 1: On scorn lives Ostrodia. This is the Wader Panalty Show.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Good evening, Anne, Welcome to the readA Panety Show. Coming
- 0:12Speaker 2: up tonight, a massive program. Nikata will be here shortly
- 0:15Speaker 2: to cover the day's top headlines. Sarah Gonzales will have
- 0:19Speaker 2: the latest from the US A liberal MP Richard Redan
- 0:23Speaker 2: on the curious funding sources of some TiAl candidates, and
- 0:27Speaker 2: later in the Alkins's Schofield will be here with all
- 0:30Speaker 2: these celebrity and world news you care about but pretend
- 0:33Speaker 2: not to.
- 0:34Speaker 3: And Left is losing it features this charmer.
- 0:37Speaker 4: So not someone out there with the terminal illness that's
- 0:40Speaker 4: willing to do it. I mean, I'm sure people are
- 0:43Speaker 4: willing to help if you're willing to do it.
- 0:47Speaker 2: But first, Anthony Albernezi faced off against the opposition leader
- 0:51Speaker 2: last night in the second prime minister's debate of the campaign,
- 0:54Speaker 2: this time hosted by the ABC, and the Prime Minister
- 0:58Speaker 2: was caught out in a lie when he was challenged
- 1:00Speaker 2: by Peter Dutton.
- 1:02Speaker 5: I have been very clear about what our position is
- 1:05Speaker 5: and why that is the case. Was it modeled. It
- 1:08Speaker 5: certainly wasn't commissioned by us.
- 1:11Speaker 6: To do so.
- 1:11Speaker 7: It was modeled by the government was public it's publicly
- 1:14Speaker 7: available that this Prime Minister has a problem with the truth.
- 1:16Speaker 2: And yes, the Prime Minister did in fact contradict previous
- 1:20Speaker 2: remarks from his own Treasurer, Jim Chalmers, who had this
- 1:23Speaker 2: to say in September last year.
- 1:26Speaker 8: It is not.
- 1:27Speaker 9: Unusual at all for governments or for treasurers to get
- 1:32Speaker 9: advice on contentious issues which are in the public domain,
- 1:36Speaker 9: including in the Parliament. It is not unusual for treasurers
- 1:41Speaker 9: to do that.
- 1:42Speaker 2: You know, the Prime Minister does have an interesting relationship
- 1:46Speaker 2: with the truth. Remember when he claimed on the ABC
- 1:49Speaker 2: just a few weeks ago that this.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Wasn't a fall. Why Albora, I mean everyone has falls. Well,
- 1:55Speaker 3: now he's saying.
- 1:56Speaker 2: That his government never requested modeling from treasurer on negative
- 2:00Speaker 2: gearing and capital gains reforms, even though Jim Chalmers has
- 2:05Speaker 2: already admitted that they did.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Joining me now for more on this.
- 2:08Speaker 2: As senior fellow of the mensi's Research Center, Nikkaita Nick,
- 2:14Speaker 2: why not just come clean about this. We know where
- 2:17Speaker 2: Labours stand on this issue. We know there's great debate
- 2:21Speaker 2: within their ranks about these measures. Why not just be
- 2:25Speaker 2: honest about and say we did some modeling, We're not
- 2:28Speaker 2: going down that road.
- 2:30Speaker 5: Be far better than trying to bluff your way through
- 2:33Speaker 5: by lying, which is what the Prime Minister tried to
- 2:35Speaker 5: do yesterday. I mean in the same debate. Actually, Peter
- 2:38Speaker 5: dunn't apologized for saying something that he now thought regretted
- 2:44Speaker 5: over Indonesia ant the Albanes. He should have done the
- 2:48Speaker 5: same then he should do it now. But there's a
- 2:50Speaker 5: long long list of this. You've already mentioned the falling
- 2:52Speaker 5: off the stage incident. Also recently, remember Rita Anti Ambinez.
- 2:57Speaker 5: He said that they had not Labor Party had not
- 3:00Speaker 5: missioned the modeling, the repute modeling, which came back and
- 3:03Speaker 5: said everybody was going to get a two hundred and
- 3:05Speaker 5: seventy five dollars cut off their electricity bill.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And you go.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Back to the transcript three years ago. Is absolutely proud
- 3:12Speaker 5: of the fact that they've commissioned this piece of research,
- 3:14Speaker 5: which was the finest piece of research ever done by
- 3:17Speaker 5: an opposition since federation. Now he's telling us we had
- 3:20Speaker 5: nothing to do with it.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yes, they walked back from that position very quickly. They
- 3:27Speaker 2: disavowed that modeling very quickly. Indeed, now you've written a
- 3:31Speaker 2: fantastic piece in the Australian newspaper about Labour's self image
- 3:36Speaker 2: as a friend of the marginalized and dispossessed.
- 3:39Speaker 3: You say that has become.
- 3:41Speaker 2: A cruel joke, and you make the argument Nick that
- 3:45Speaker 2: low and middle income households have really suffered far worse
- 3:49Speaker 2: from rising inflation than twenty three months of negative per
- 3:53Speaker 2: capita growth. Is Labor still the party of the working
- 3:58Speaker 2: class in Australia?
- 4:00Speaker 10: All?
- 4:01Speaker 5: Absolutely not? Reader in fat I was in Shell Harbor
- 4:04Speaker 5: yesterday in the seed of Whitlam talking to some people.
- 4:07Speaker 5: They're talking to a woman whose parents were both drug
- 4:09Speaker 5: addicts and she'd been thrown out. Just typical poor sort
- 4:13Speaker 5: of person you'd expect Labor that. I thought she wasn't
- 4:16Speaker 5: having a bar of labor. She was going to vote
- 4:17Speaker 5: for the Liberal candidate, you know. And this is what
- 4:20Speaker 5: I'm finding all the time. You won't, of course read
- 4:22Speaker 5: this in the Guardian or the Cidney Morning Herald, because
- 4:24Speaker 5: those people never get out further than Strathfield, even if
- 4:28Speaker 5: they get that far. But you don't have to go
- 4:30Speaker 5: far into the into the outer suburbs to see what
- 4:33Speaker 5: twelve mortgage rate increases does to people who are really
- 4:38Speaker 5: trying to bring up a family working and you know,
- 4:42Speaker 5: I've seen them come out with very sad supermarket market
- 4:45Speaker 5: trolleys of bread, potatoes and sausages and a bit of
- 4:49Speaker 5: toilet paper and that's it. You know, it is tragic.
- 4:51Speaker 5: And of course this is not being reported, which is
- 4:53Speaker 5: why so many in the smarter mainstream media are trying
- 4:58Speaker 5: to tell us this is going to be a great
- 4:59Speaker 5: alban easy triumph. I promise you it won't be. And
- 5:02Speaker 5: Labour's going to take a big, big hit in what
- 5:05Speaker 5: was once it's heartland.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Well, they're certainly bleeding support in the outer suburbs. You
- 5:14Speaker 2: noted that in your peace out of suburbs of Melbourne
- 5:17Speaker 2: and Sydney and beyond.
- 5:19Speaker 3: But not all those votes are going to the coalition, Nick,
- 5:23Speaker 3: Why is that? Why the coalition.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Failing to capture those disaffected voters.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Well, this is a big problem. I mean it's kind
- 5:31Speaker 5: of understandable if you take a seat like Whitlam or weare,
- 5:34Speaker 5: which have always been labor, you know, and if your
- 5:36Speaker 5: family has always voted labor and your grandparents all voted labor. Yeah,
- 5:40Speaker 5: it's a bit of a big step to make. At
- 5:43Speaker 5: once fell swoop and I understand. You know, in the past,
- 5:45Speaker 5: people would vote one nation and we used to call
- 5:48Speaker 5: them one nation a gateway drug to voting liberal. But
- 5:52Speaker 5: I'm not sure that that's going to happen now. I
- 5:53Speaker 5: think that they really there's really a lot of great
- 5:55Speaker 5: deal of suspicion of both major parties. They're going to
- 5:58Speaker 5: have to earn that trust back. It's going to be
- 6:00Speaker 5: very hard. They won't be able to do it in
- 6:02Speaker 5: one election, but they've really got to try, because we're
- 6:04Speaker 5: talking in some of these seats fifteen sixteen seventeen percent
- 6:07Speaker 5: of the vote conservative vote going to conservative independence, not
- 6:11Speaker 5: to the Liberal Party. And if they want to govern,
- 6:13Speaker 5: then clearly they've got to change that.
- 6:17Speaker 2: And we've seen the coalitions vote dive as well in
- 6:21Speaker 2: recent polling, and that's votes on the right that they're
- 6:27Speaker 2: losing again to the minor parties.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Why is that vote fracturing.
- 6:32Speaker 2: On the right flank of the Liberal Party? Is just
- 6:36Speaker 2: because their policies appear too similar to Labor? Is it
- 6:41Speaker 2: because they're refusing to walk away from the Paris Steel.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I'm wondering why when we've got such a left leaning
- 6:49Speaker 2: federal government, we've got so many on the right who
- 6:53Speaker 2: are not happy with the coalition.
- 6:57Speaker 5: I suspect it's because the Liberal Party try and pull
- 6:59Speaker 5: their punches a bit. They know they want to try
- 7:02Speaker 5: and win back some of the Teal seats and they
- 7:05Speaker 5: know that some of the things that ordinary people would
- 7:07Speaker 5: think was quite normal would go down very badly in
- 7:11Speaker 5: those TiAl seats. So this is the eternal dilemma for them.
- 7:14Speaker 5: I mean, I think that their future clearly does not
- 7:17Speaker 5: lie in Wentworth and Couyon. It lies out in those
- 7:21Speaker 5: places like Banks like Chris Bowen, Seed McMahon Whitnam, and
- 7:27Speaker 5: in Victorian in seats like Corwell for instance, in the
- 7:30Speaker 5: northern suburbs of Melbourne, and that's where they have to
- 7:34Speaker 5: really start building their base. They have to be able
- 7:36Speaker 5: to win elections without any of those Teal seats, and
- 7:39Speaker 5: they'll do that by giving a very clear message, as
- 7:42Speaker 5: clear as the one that Peter Dutton gave in the
- 7:44Speaker 5: voice referendum.
- 7:48Speaker 2: You know what, I wish you were advising the opposition leader,
- 7:52Speaker 2: because I think you're one hundred percent right. I think
- 7:55Speaker 2: this desperation to claw back some of those Till seats
- 7:59Speaker 2: could cost the election because they have again compromised on
- 8:03Speaker 2: their messaging on their policies, on who they are and
- 8:06Speaker 2: what they stand for, and the electorate I think, is
- 8:10Speaker 2: going to be reluctant to throw out a first term
- 8:12Speaker 2: government without an opposition that is absolutely clear in what
- 8:16Speaker 2: its values are and what its policies are. They're just
- 8:19Speaker 2: too much same same for the average voter who's not
- 8:23Speaker 2: all that politically engaged. Now, let's talk about revelations from
- 8:28Speaker 2: documents obtained under freedom of information laws by Bloomberg showing
- 8:33Speaker 2: that the Albanezi government, through Communications Minister Michelle Roland, gave
- 8:37Speaker 2: YouTube's CEO Neil Mohan a guarantee last year that his
- 8:43Speaker 2: platform would be exempt from Australia's ban on social media
- 8:47Speaker 2: for youngsters before the government. And they made this assurance
- 8:52Speaker 2: nick before the government had even decided which platforms would
- 8:57Speaker 2: be covered.
- 8:57Speaker 3: YouTube has war.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Foid being part of this ban, and if we're trusting
- 9:04Speaker 2: the word of the Safety Commissioner, YouTube is the most
- 9:08Speaker 2: popular online platform for youngsters, so why are they exempt?
- 9:14Speaker 2: For the record, I'm against this entire ban. I think
- 9:17Speaker 2: it's absolutely idiotic. But why does it apply to X
- 9:22Speaker 2: but it doesn't apply to YouTube?
- 9:24Speaker 5: Absolute mystery to me, beater, and I'm with you. I
- 9:26Speaker 5: think this is the wrong approach. I don't think you
- 9:28Speaker 5: deal with this problem by banning anything for children. You
- 9:34Speaker 5: deal with it by empowering parents by giving them the
- 9:37Speaker 5: online tools which Google and Apple have got incidentally, but
- 9:39Speaker 5: they're not releasing that will allow them to monitor their
- 9:42Speaker 5: children's content and encourage their children to use their phones
- 9:46Speaker 5: their phones responsibly. That's where this should be. It shouldn't
- 9:49Speaker 5: be the government. But if you are going to introduce laws,
- 9:51Speaker 5: don't have favorites. Don't start playing favorites. Or the whole
- 9:54Speaker 5: thing looks like a stitch up. And I'd like to
- 9:58Speaker 5: think there was a very good reason, maybe had some
- 10:00Speaker 5: cast iron assurances or promises from YouTube, But I don't know.
- 10:03Speaker 1: We just don't know.
- 10:04Speaker 5: All this is being conducted in secret, like so much
- 10:06Speaker 5: else that the government does in this year.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Yes, and we know a YouTube is owned by Google
- 10:14Speaker 2: and so extremely powerful. It pretty much controls the flow
- 10:21Speaker 2: of information. If you want to do a search on
- 10:23Speaker 2: any topic, what are you using? You're using Google, So
- 10:27Speaker 2: I can understand why they wouldn't want to upset that goliath.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Before you go, nick a landmark judgment in the UK,
- 10:36Speaker 2: the Supreme Court there has ruled that a woman is
- 10:38Speaker 2: a biological female and that when it legally men with
- 10:44Speaker 2: gender certificates saying they are women, men who identify as women,
- 10:48Speaker 2: well they're not women because a woman is a biological female.
- 10:52Speaker 2: It's kind of sad that this needs to be stated
- 10:55Speaker 2: in the Supreme Court, but it is an enormous victory
- 11:00Speaker 2: women's rights advocates, including JK. Rowling, who celebrated the verdict,
- 11:05Speaker 2: writing on x it took three extraordinary, tenacious Scottish women
- 11:10Speaker 2: with an army behind them to get this case heard
- 11:12Speaker 2: by the Supreme Court, and in winning they've protected the
- 11:16Speaker 2: rights of women and girls across the UK. Nick so
- 11:20Speaker 2: many women men also have been sacked, have been canceled,
- 11:25Speaker 2: have been counseled because they've stated biological realities, they've refused
- 11:33Speaker 2: to accept pronouns, or they've called a man a man,
- 11:37Speaker 2: and this landmark ruling hopefully puts an end to that.
- 11:43Speaker 5: Yeah, the Court acted because they wanted to clear up
- 11:46Speaker 5: all the absurdities and contradictions and clashes that were happening
- 11:50Speaker 5: in legal cases in Britain. And you know what they've
- 11:55Speaker 5: done is to show that transgender rights, if there's such
- 11:58Speaker 5: a thing, own you go as far as women's rights,
- 12:01Speaker 5: women's rights. In the end, women have the right to
- 12:06Speaker 5: keep transgender men out of sport or any other forum
- 12:09Speaker 5: if they so choose, and this case sets that up
- 12:11Speaker 5: beautifully for them. In the UK, the Australian courts, the
- 12:15Speaker 5: High Court here will have the chance to make a
- 12:17Speaker 5: similar decision if it chooses to do so in the
- 12:20Speaker 5: appeal over the Giggle versus Tigle case which is coming
- 12:23Speaker 5: up and I understands later this year, and they're looking
- 12:26Speaker 5: for clarification from the law that exactly the same thing
- 12:29Speaker 5: that sex is sex men and women, and gender is
- 12:35Speaker 5: quite something weird and constructed on top of that. So
- 12:38Speaker 5: that's the decision we'll be looking for here. And I
- 12:41Speaker 5: think with the debate going that way in the United
- 12:44Speaker 5: States that the same way in Britain. Away from this stuff,
- 12:47Speaker 5: away from this nonsense transgender rights argument, then I think
- 12:51Speaker 5: we're going to look very very strange in this country
- 12:54Speaker 5: if we don't also wake up and fix the law
- 12:57Speaker 5: over this.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Nikata, thanks for your time.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Joining me now is Victorian State Liberal MP Richard Reardon. Richard,
- 13:07Speaker 2: the Victorian government's war against property investors is bearing fruit.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Mum and Dad landlords are selling up.
- 13:15Speaker 2: We're seeing the pool of rental properties diminish further and
- 13:20Speaker 2: that's seeing rents increase. Data out Today's shows rents have
- 13:24Speaker 2: spiked in the first quarter of twenty twenty five, particularly
- 13:27Speaker 2: here in Melbourne, where rents have increased by around fifteen
- 13:30Speaker 2: dollars a week on average. Richard, it's an increase that
- 13:35Speaker 2: renters can ill afford in the current environment.
- 13:39Speaker 6: Yes, Rita, thanks for the opportunity. It is crazy here
- 13:43Speaker 6: in Victoria. Who'd have thought restricts supply and prices go up.
- 13:48Speaker 6: We all know it. It's the most basic law of
- 13:50Speaker 6: supplying demand. And here in Victoria, the Victorian government just
- 13:55Speaker 6: believes that property property investors are people that provide a
- 14:00Speaker 6: place for thirty to forty percent of the population to live,
- 14:03Speaker 6: can just continue to be taxed and it's not going
- 14:07Speaker 6: to have an effect. That's their view. But the market
- 14:10Speaker 6: reality is, Rita, the more costs and charges you put
- 14:14Speaker 6: on property owners, the more they have to charge in
- 14:17Speaker 6: order to get a return on investment. Property has to
- 14:20Speaker 6: stop being seen as a cash cow for the broke
- 14:24Speaker 6: Victorian state government. And until that happens, the people the
- 14:27Speaker 6: most vulnerable, those renting are going to continue to.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Pay the price now, Richard, of course, we've seen land
- 14:33Speaker 2: tax skyrocket in this state as well. The state government
- 14:37Speaker 2: is certainly hooked on property taxes. A lot of mum
- 14:41Speaker 2: and dad investors are selling up for that reason. Does
- 14:44Speaker 2: the Liberal Party have a policy to address.
- 14:48Speaker 6: That, well, Rita, we will absolutely have a policy that
- 14:52Speaker 6: will be designed first and foremost to make housing more affordable,
- 14:57Speaker 6: whether you're buying a home or renting a home when
- 15:01Speaker 6: we go to the polls next November. The sad reality
- 15:04Speaker 6: for us as a potential future well not only potential
- 15:07Speaker 6: but hopefully the next government here in Victoria is we
- 15:10Speaker 6: have two more budgets to get through before we have
- 15:12Speaker 6: an opportunity to change government here in Victoria. Now, you'll
- 15:15Speaker 6: recall anyone who was unfortunate enough to look at the
- 15:19Speaker 6: budget last year, it was riddled with TVCs. Two be
- 15:22Speaker 6: confirms we haven't seen an honest budget produced in Victoria
- 15:26Speaker 6: for a long time. We've got another three or four
- 15:28Speaker 6: weeks to see this year's budget. We fully expect TVCs
- 15:32Speaker 6: and with all the uncertainty around the suburban rail loop investment,
- 15:36Speaker 6: billions and billions potentially wasted and tied up. But Ultimately,
- 15:41Speaker 6: the goal is we will need to present some hope
- 15:44Speaker 6: and opportunity not only to property owners, but property renters
- 15:49Speaker 6: and first home buyers, and that will have to come
- 15:51Speaker 6: in part through a revamp and a rejig of our
- 15:54Speaker 6: land tax system here in Victoria. But you know, the
- 15:57Speaker 6: honest truth is it's going to be a heart slog.
- 16:00Speaker 6: We can't put the finishing touches on our priorities for that.
- 16:03Speaker 6: And do we have some understanding of what this budget's
- 16:05Speaker 6: going to look like.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Well, we've got the Victorian government pledging to build eight
- 16:11Speaker 2: hundred thousand new homes in a ten year period between
- 16:14Speaker 2: twenty twenty four to twenty thirty four. But Richard, that's
- 16:19Speaker 2: already off to a shaky start. They're already behind the
- 16:23Speaker 2: eight ball, and industry figures are saying that the state's
- 16:27Speaker 2: rigid tax regime has a lot to do with that,
- 16:30Speaker 2: and housing completions are actually now trending backwards.
- 16:36Speaker 3: This is just a simple supply and demand issue.
- 16:39Speaker 2: At the end of the day, region We've got a
- 16:40Speaker 2: lot of people coming into Victoria and we're not having
- 16:43Speaker 2: a lot of houses built.
- 16:45Speaker 6: No reader, we're not, and that's simply because bringing a
- 16:48Speaker 6: block of land to market here in Victoria is just
- 16:51Speaker 6: so cost prohibitive. The bulk of Victorians sit between a
- 16:55Speaker 6: four hundred and eight hundred thousand dollars cap on their
- 16:59Speaker 6: mortgage capacity to borrow and to take their first home
- 17:03Speaker 6: sits roughly in that bandwidth of finance. This government has
- 17:08Speaker 6: almost made it impossible. All the talk in recent months
- 17:11Speaker 6: of changes to the twenty story towers and the activity
- 17:15Speaker 6: zones and the new planning schemes basically cannot bring a
- 17:19Speaker 6: house to market in Victoria, any sort of reasonable home
- 17:23Speaker 6: for Victorians under.
- 17:24Speaker 1: A million dollars.
- 17:25Speaker 6: We are just pricing young Victorians out. And in fact,
- 17:28Speaker 6: whether you're in Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, you name it, out
- 17:32Speaker 6: of suburbs of Melbourne, every corner of Victoria now is
- 17:36Speaker 6: taxed out of existence. When it comes to bringing affordable
- 17:39Speaker 6: new homes a changing government next year, as I said
- 17:42Speaker 6: earlier Rita, the focus has to be on safe, affordable,
- 17:47Speaker 6: accessible homes that are practical and available for people. At
- 17:51Speaker 6: the end of the day, we have to ask serious
- 17:53Speaker 6: questions about what political dynamite this government is building in,
- 17:58Speaker 6: whether it's the increase in taxes, whether it's the rules
- 18:02Speaker 6: and regulations about energy efficiency and other things that are
- 18:05Speaker 6: just not necessarily appropriate for homes here in Victoria, and
- 18:09Speaker 6: as a result, the cost is embedded in and when
- 18:12Speaker 6: it's nearly forty two percent of the cost of a
- 18:15Speaker 6: new greenfield home here in Victoria is in taxes and charges,
- 18:18Speaker 6: you know the state has a big role to play
- 18:20Speaker 6: in helping make homes more affordable for everybody.
- 18:27Speaker 3: That's it.
- 18:28Speaker 2: They've just got to get out of the way, cut
- 18:30Speaker 2: some of that regulation, the red tape, the green tape,
- 18:33Speaker 2: the black tape, and make it attractive for developers to
- 18:38Speaker 2: actually build properties that.
- 18:39Speaker 3: People want to live in.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Now you've done a bit of a detective work, Richard,
- 18:43Speaker 2: You've done a bit of digging and uncovered that the
- 18:46Speaker 2: till candidate for Wanen, Alex Dyson, has received seventy five
- 18:51Speaker 2: percent of his money from just ten families, nine of
- 18:56Speaker 2: them based in Sydney, including Simon Holmes a court Richard,
- 19:01Speaker 2: Sydney is a long way from mornable.
- 19:05Speaker 3: You're not wrong.
- 19:07Speaker 6: The only solution I've got to this reader is I
- 19:09Speaker 6: have a sneaking suspicion that these Sydney siders have confused
- 19:13Speaker 6: Lizmore and Camper down in New South Wales with the
- 19:17Speaker 6: beautiful townships of Lismore and camperdown.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Here in want And.
- 19:20Speaker 6: It doesn't make much sense that these people they don't
- 19:24Speaker 6: even have a presence here. That the most the fabulously
- 19:26Speaker 6: wealthy Simon Holmes of Court Reader, he has a property
- 19:30Speaker 6: and probably has many here in He's probably got one
- 19:32Speaker 6: in the CBD of Melbourne for business meetings and Climate
- 19:36Speaker 6: two hundred gatherings. But he doesn't even have a property
- 19:38Speaker 6: on our beautiful Great Ocean Road. Now I'd cut in
- 19:42Speaker 6: some slack if he'd actually invested in our community, but
- 19:45Speaker 6: he's not. Of course, he's not interested in our community.
- 19:48Speaker 6: He just knows that our community here in One and
- 19:50Speaker 6: Reader delivers thirty percent of the affordable gas into the
- 19:54Speaker 6: market here in Victoria. We are the backbone of cheap
- 19:58Speaker 6: gas in Victoria. From one we supply thirty percent of
- 20:02Speaker 6: Australia's dairy product, our timber industry, all sorts of fabulous
- 20:07Speaker 6: things come from gas production here in Wanten. And mister
- 20:11Speaker 6: Holmes Accord and his nine other friends, including a vet
- 20:14Speaker 6: from Sydney, they are held bent on shutting that down.
- 20:17Speaker 6: And quite frankly, the voters of want And have only
- 20:20Speaker 6: one choice backing the harbor Bridge brigade, and they're desire
- 20:24Speaker 6: to shut half our industries down or back are local
- 20:27Speaker 6: and that's the wonderful Dantean.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Now before you go.
- 20:33Speaker 2: The Herald Sun reported earlier this week that there is
- 20:35Speaker 2: a plot by Liberal operatives to and Moradeeming's political career.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Multiple candidates are going to be gearing up to challenge
- 20:45Speaker 2: her for that number one position on the Western Metropolitan
- 20:48Speaker 2: Upper House ticket. Richard, this is bewildering.
- 20:52Speaker 3: She is one of the.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Most popular, recognizable Liberals in this state. Why can't the
- 20:58Speaker 2: Liberal Party just unite behind her instead of trying to
- 21:02Speaker 2: undermine her position.
- 21:04Speaker 6: Well, look, Rita, I think it's fair to say all
- 21:07Speaker 6: organizations might have a rag tag rump about them that
- 21:11Speaker 6: you don't want to fight, fight to fight, you don't
- 21:13Speaker 6: need to have. Look, Moira has proven she's a tough campaigner.
- 21:18Speaker 6: She's gone to helen back in recent times. We're sticking
- 21:23Speaker 6: with her. She's been fantastic out in Werribee and the
- 21:27Speaker 6: West of Melbourne. We all saw the wonderful result we
- 21:29Speaker 6: got in the Weerribee by election, of which Moira was
- 21:32Speaker 6: front and center of helping us get. I have no doubt.
- 21:35Speaker 6: I have no doubt that if when push comes to
- 21:38Speaker 6: shove sometime next year, if there's still some angry party
- 21:42Speaker 6: member that wants to challenge a good luck to them,
- 21:44Speaker 6: they won't have much of a chance. At the end
- 21:46Speaker 6: of the day, all of us, as pre selected members
- 21:49Speaker 6: can face a challenge. This just sounds like a bit
- 21:51Speaker 6: of sour grapes that found its way into the paper.
- 21:54Speaker 6: But I don't think too many of us will take
- 21:57Speaker 6: it seriously, and we need Moira, like the rest of
- 22:00Speaker 6: our team, out every day selling Brad Baton and putting
- 22:03Speaker 6: the word forward that Victoria's got to change.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Richard Riden, thanks for your time tonight. You're ready to
- 22:12Speaker 3: take care still to come. Lefty is a losing ad class.
- 22:16Speaker 2: New York Attorney General Letitia James, who promised to get.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Trump, is under investigation herself. Sarah Gonzalez is up next
- 22:34Speaker 3: Welcome back. Now it's time for Lefty's losing it.
- 22:38Speaker 2: And George Clooney was on CNN being interviewed by the
- 22:42Speaker 2: fawning Jake Tapper. Clooney, sporting one of the worst die
- 22:47Speaker 2: jobs in Hollywood history, is again lying and playing the hero,
- 22:52Speaker 2: claiming that it was his civic duty to out Joe
- 22:55Speaker 2: Biden for not being up to it and needing to
- 22:58Speaker 2: step down.
- 22:59Speaker 11: You yourself did something that a lot of people would
- 23:03Speaker 11: call brave when you wrote your up out.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Well, if it was brave, it was.
- 23:09Speaker 12: It was a civic duty.
- 23:11Speaker 13: When I saw people on my side of the street
- 23:13Speaker 13: not telling the truth, I thought that was time to.
- 23:15Speaker 1: People still mount it for that.
- 23:17Speaker 13: Some people, sure, people criticized me.
- 23:19Speaker 2: They criticized me because of my stance against the war
- 23:22Speaker 2: twenty years ago.
- 23:22Speaker 3: And some people picketed my movies and they put me
- 23:25Speaker 3: on a deck of cards.
- 23:26Speaker 13: And I, you know, and that's that's I have to
- 23:29Speaker 13: take that.
- 23:30Speaker 1: That's fair.
- 23:30Speaker 14: I'm okay with that. I'm okay with criticism for my
- 23:33Speaker 14: you know, for where I stand.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Really, I'm just marveling at that hair dye.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I mean, how why no, we did cover this whole
- 23:43Speaker 2: thing when he tried to rewrite history on sixty minutes
- 23:47Speaker 2: a few weeks back. You know, George must think we're
- 23:50Speaker 2: all suffering from Biden's cognitive decline, because, far from taking
- 23:54Speaker 2: a principal stance and doing his civic duty, George Clooney
- 23:59Speaker 2: was part of the Biden cover up. Not only did
- 24:02Speaker 2: he hold a massive Hollywood fundraiser for Joe Biden. We
- 24:06Speaker 2: all remember the President glitching and having to be assisted
- 24:10Speaker 2: off the stage by Baraco Obama, And then we had
- 24:14Speaker 2: the White House lie to us and say the videos
- 24:17Speaker 2: of him being helped off stage were right wing disinformation.
- 24:22Speaker 3: I remember all that, and I remember that George Clooney.
- 24:25Speaker 2: George Clooney said nothing that all happened at his event.
- 24:29Speaker 3: He didn't do his civic duty there.
- 24:31Speaker 2: No, he waited weeks and weeks and weeks. Only after
- 24:36Speaker 2: Biden had that disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Did George Clooney write that op ed? In fact, a
- 24:43Speaker 3: couple of weeks after the debate.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Now protests continue against the president. But don't bother asking
- 24:50Speaker 2: any of these concerned citizens what they're exactly protesting about.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Can you tell us about your sign today?
- 24:57Speaker 3: By you the lawyer?
- 24:58Speaker 1: Don't you thank you? What do you think is the
- 25:00Speaker 1: biggest lie he's told?
- 25:01Speaker 11: I think everything that comes out of his mouth is
- 25:03Speaker 11: a lie.
- 25:03Speaker 10: I think everything that he says she should leave the opposite.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Any specific examples where do I even begin? Are you
- 25:12Speaker 1: what do you? You can come and join? This is
- 25:15Speaker 1: my son, Rever.
- 25:17Speaker 10: What's a lie that Donald Trump is told?
- 25:20Speaker 1: I mean, I don't like him.
- 25:22Speaker 3: I've got no clothes. Now.
- 25:24Speaker 2: I wonder what this next lass is talking about. Perhaps
- 25:28Speaker 2: the Secret Service would care to have a word with her.
- 25:31Speaker 4: They're not someone out there with the terminal illness that's
- 25:33Speaker 4: willing to do it. I mean, I'm sure people are
- 25:37Speaker 4: willing to help. If you're willing to do it. I
- 25:41Speaker 4: think that there are people willing to help organize it.
- 25:44Speaker 10: Now.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Remember when New York Attorney General, the woman who campaigned
- 25:48Speaker 2: on a promise of getting Trump. Remember when Letitia James
- 25:52Speaker 2: weaponized her office and conjured up absurd charges in order
- 25:56Speaker 2: to get Trump.
- 25:57Speaker 3: She claims, no one is above the law.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Stand up.
- 26:02Speaker 3: And enforce the rule of law.
- 26:04Speaker 14: The President of these United States is not above the law.
- 26:09Speaker 14: No matter how rich, powerful, or politically connected you are.
- 26:14Speaker 14: Everyone must play by the same rules you are saying.
- 26:18Speaker 15: The Federal Housing Finance Agency has sent a criminal referral
- 26:21Speaker 15: to the DOJ, accusing James of mortgage fraud, and a
- 26:26Speaker 15: letter to Attorney General Pam BONDI Director Bill Poulte says
- 26:30Speaker 15: James appears to have falsified wrecords in order to meet
- 26:33Speaker 15: certain lending requirements and receive favorable loan terms. He cited
- 26:39Speaker 15: a property in Virginia that she's allegedly claimed as her
- 26:42Speaker 15: principal residence.
- 26:43Speaker 7: As a New York elected official, she had to say
- 26:48Speaker 7: that her principal residence was in New York. This was
- 26:50Speaker 7: an out of state residence. But also they claimed that
- 26:53Speaker 7: in some of these forms, she actually states that her
- 26:56Speaker 7: father is her husband in order to file as a
- 27:00Speaker 7: married couple.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Oh dear, looks like the comma bus has come for Letitia,
- 27:05Speaker 2: and maybe she knew it was coming because what's here.
- 27:09Speaker 2: At the National Action Network twenty twenty five convention early
- 27:12Speaker 2: this month, she looks nervous.
- 27:15Speaker 3: She's unraveling.
- 27:17Speaker 1: My mission is clear.
- 27:19Speaker 14: I'm focused, I'm prepared, I'm ready. I've been trained by
- 27:25Speaker 14: the best. I went to Howard University. I'm not afraid
- 27:30Speaker 14: of no President Donald Trump. We're ready for you. We're
- 27:34Speaker 14: coming for you, We're standing up for you.
- 27:37Speaker 3: We're fighting on. We're not going down.
- 27:39Speaker 14: Sailing victory, my friends, is clear.
- 27:43Speaker 1: It's now and.
- 27:44Speaker 3: I'm not waiting four years. I'm waiting two.
- 27:47Speaker 14: I tell us, speaker by the name of Hi King Jeffries.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Comes to bring us.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Some rest come on, ladies, it's up to us.
- 27:56Speaker 14: We saved this democracy before, we'll save it now.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Johnny Meena is host of Sarah Gonzalez Unfiltered on BLISTAV
- 28:06Speaker 2: and VP of Texas Family Project. Sarah, what can you
- 28:11Speaker 2: tell me about the allegations against Letitia James.
- 28:16Speaker 16: Well, you know, it's interesting, Rita, thanks for having me back,
- 28:18Speaker 16: by the way, it's interesting. She was just screaming that
- 28:21Speaker 16: she was focused, and I was watching her eyes and
- 28:23Speaker 16: it didn't look like she was very focused at all.
- 28:25Speaker 16: They were looking in two different directions. But what I
- 28:27Speaker 16: can tell you about her allegations are that these democrats
- 28:32Speaker 16: here in this country. I don't know if it's like
- 28:33Speaker 16: this for you guys over there, but in our country,
- 28:37Speaker 16: the democrats who are accusing Republicans of crimes are the
- 28:40Speaker 16: ones who are committing the crimes. They are projecting their
- 28:43Speaker 16: crimes every single time they project their crimes onto us.
- 28:46Speaker 16: And so you had Letitia James, an Attorney General of
- 28:49Speaker 16: New York, who was accusing Donald Trump of civil fraud
- 28:53Speaker 16: for misrepresenting how much he was worth. And then Letitia
- 28:57Speaker 16: James herself gets accused of misrepresent for a loan and
- 29:02Speaker 16: Apparently she was the Attorney General of New York and
- 29:04Speaker 16: she was telling the loan company that she her primary
- 29:07Speaker 16: residence was going to be in a completely different steat.
- 29:10Speaker 11: You can't do that when you're the Attorney General of
- 29:12Speaker 11: New York. So I'm going to say she's.
- 29:13Speaker 16: Sunk on this one, and it couldn't happen to a
- 29:15Speaker 16: more deserting person.
- 29:18Speaker 10: No.
- 29:19Speaker 2: There's even reports that she'd claimed in the loone documents
- 29:22Speaker 2: to have been married to her father to get a
- 29:24Speaker 2: better interest rate.
- 29:26Speaker 3: I mean, the.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Full allegations here are something else. But of course the
- 29:31Speaker 2: leftist media is treating this like some sort of political persecution.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Even the headlines are misleading. Have a look at that one,
- 29:39Speaker 2: making it look like they're targeting Democrats, But really they're
- 29:43Speaker 2: targeting alleged fraud here, and unlike Leticia James, they're not
- 29:48Speaker 2: trying to create cases out of thin air. I mean,
- 29:50Speaker 2: her case against Donald Trump was just really out there.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Now we know with the Trump administration, big part of
- 30:00Speaker 2: their campaign was to restore the integrity of institutions that
- 30:04Speaker 2: have become hopelessly politicized. That was an election issue. You know,
- 30:10Speaker 2: trust in these institutions is at record low. And one
- 30:14Speaker 2: of the examples, Sarah, is that we still know so
- 30:18Speaker 2: very little about the assassination attempts against President Trump.
- 30:23Speaker 3: He doesn't even know what's happened.
- 30:25Speaker 10: They're all saying it was like a couple of nutjobs.
- 30:29Speaker 11: Do you believe that, I don't know, you know.
- 30:31Speaker 10: The one person at eighteen telephones. I have a lot
- 30:36Speaker 10: of funds, but that's like three yeah, and they're made
- 30:39Speaker 10: for special reasons. I don't know what to believe. I'll
- 30:43Speaker 10: be honest. It has not been explained to me perfectly
- 30:48Speaker 10: by other secret service or the FBI. We have somebody,
- 30:52Speaker 10: two good people running that and I would like to
- 30:56Speaker 10: hear the explanation, even if it's not released in the public,
- 30:59Speaker 10: I should be allowed to.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Hear it came in, Sarah, What is happening with these investigations?
- 31:04Speaker 3: Heck? Can we know so little after all this time?
- 31:10Speaker 16: Well, I mean, Rita, I think the answer is clear,
- 31:12Speaker 16: because the answer they don't want to become public, so
- 31:16Speaker 16: they bury it.
- 31:17Speaker 11: I mean, when this first.
- 31:18Speaker 16: Assassination attempt came out and we had this loan shooter,
- 31:22Speaker 16: this young man didn't have very many friends, went to
- 31:25Speaker 16: a gun range where we knew that government officials frequented
- 31:29Speaker 16: coincidentally enough, and you heard his story, and you heard
- 31:33Speaker 16: that he had these encrypted accounts on his phone, and
- 31:35Speaker 16: you heard and then all of a sudden you heard
- 31:38Speaker 16: nothing else. He was connected to all of these foreign accounts,
- 31:41Speaker 16: and nothing else about it. And so the problem here, Rita,
- 31:44Speaker 16: is that we are dealing with a deep state bureaucracy
- 31:47Speaker 16: where the rot just goes so far deep. And unfortunately,
- 31:51Speaker 16: in this country, we have an election in November, and
- 31:54Speaker 16: then we have the rest of November, we have December,
- 31:57Speaker 16: and then we have the better part of January, where
- 31:59Speaker 16: all of these deep state actors can do whatever they
- 32:01Speaker 16: want to clean stuff up. And so I fear that
- 32:05Speaker 16: we never will get the full truth of this man.
- 32:07Speaker 16: But I mean, you mean to tell me these same
- 32:10Speaker 16: government officials who could track who was in Washington, d C.
- 32:13Speaker 16: On January sixth, twenty twenty one, who was even in
- 32:16Speaker 16: the vicinity of Washington, d C. On that day, couldn't
- 32:19Speaker 16: actually find any more information out about either of these
- 32:23Speaker 16: assassination attempts. I don't buy it, Rita, and neither does
- 32:26Speaker 16: the rest of America.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Well, that's why trust in these institutions has plummeted, because
- 32:33Speaker 2: some of This stuff beggars belief. We've seen the rise
- 32:38Speaker 2: of leftist violence across the US for a number of years,
- 32:42Speaker 2: and some of these attacks are even impacting Democrats.
- 32:47Speaker 3: The Governor of Pennsylvania.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Josh Shapiro's home was attacked, and the suspect, who has
- 32:53Speaker 2: said he planned to use a hammer to bait the
- 32:56Speaker 2: governor if he encountered him his admitted this attack was
- 33:00Speaker 2: motivated by Shapiro's stance on Palestine. Sarah, what else can
- 33:05Speaker 2: you tell me about this asilent?
- 33:09Speaker 16: Well, I mean, rita, show me a violent radical and
- 33:14Speaker 16: show me a Democrat, because they are one and the same.
- 33:16Speaker 16: These days, it's every single time you have these assailants
- 33:20Speaker 16: who are motivated because the Democrats have gone out and
- 33:22Speaker 16: they have intentionally riled people up. They tell people to
- 33:25Speaker 16: take to the streets, they tell people to get up
- 33:28Speaker 16: in Trump voters' faces, they tell people to get violent.
- 33:32Speaker 16: And no one should be shocked that all of these
- 33:33Speaker 16: radicals who are listening to the likes of Jasmine Crockett
- 33:37Speaker 16: and AOC and all of these leftist leaders, we shouldn't
- 33:39Speaker 16: be shocked that they are actually following through with this.
- 33:41Speaker 16: I mean, we have in this country record levels of
- 33:44Speaker 16: anti Semitic tone, of anti Semitic rhetoric, and you have
- 33:48Speaker 16: unfortunately too many useful idiots in this country who are
- 33:51Speaker 16: listening to it, who are amped up by the rhetoric,
- 33:53Speaker 16: and they're moved to quote do something even though it's
- 33:56Speaker 16: of course the wrong thing to do. And so, of
- 33:58Speaker 16: course we have personal accountability that needs to be had
- 34:00Speaker 16: in this particular situation. But there are just four too
- 34:03Speaker 16: many people in this country who are quite comfortable going
- 34:07Speaker 16: out and saying, you know, saying and then acting upon
- 34:10Speaker 16: very very violent rhetoric, and you know, personal accountability, sure,
- 34:15Speaker 16: but I would say that the Democrats rhetoric has a
- 34:17Speaker 16: lot to do with the rise and the uptick in
- 34:19Speaker 16: this violence.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Oh absolutely, And they've normalized this anti semitism. Shapiro should
- 34:28Speaker 2: have been the VP candidate for Kamala Harris, but because
- 34:32Speaker 2: he's Jewish, because his pro Israel served in the IDF,
- 34:36Speaker 2: they didn't want to go there, and they put up
- 34:38Speaker 2: Tim Walls, possibly the worst VP candidate in history. But
- 34:43Speaker 2: that just shows you how deep the anti Semitism is
- 34:47Speaker 2: running in the American left.
- 34:50Speaker 3: It's not on the fringes anymore.
- 34:53Speaker 2: The Democrats have also become preoccupied with Trump's deportation strategy,
- 34:59Speaker 2: something that is actually very popular, and even the deportation
- 35:03Speaker 2: of gang bangers to El Salvador is causing them concerns.
- 35:07Speaker 2: They're particularly focused on one case, an illegal immigrant from
- 35:11Speaker 2: l Salvador, an MS thirteen gang member who is right
- 35:15Speaker 2: now sitting in a mega prison in El Salvador, but
- 35:18Speaker 2: Democrat Chris van Holland is determined to bring him home.
- 35:23Speaker 11: I'm here at the airport.
- 35:24Speaker 13: I'm about to board my flight for San Salvador. The
- 35:28Speaker 13: goal of this mission is to let the Trump administration
- 35:31Speaker 13: to let the government of Al Salvador know that we
- 35:34Speaker 13: are going to keep fighting to bring Albrego Garcia home.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Well, I would have thought he was already home. He's
- 35:41Speaker 3: from El Salvador, Sarah.
- 35:44Speaker 2: He's in El Salvador now, Chris van Holland, But this
- 35:49Speaker 2: man who voted against the Lake and Riley Act, he's
- 35:53Speaker 2: not having much luck getting access to this prisoner.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:59Speaker 16: Who would have thought that you could come to El
- 36:01Speaker 16: Salvador totally unannounced and show up and knock on the
- 36:04Speaker 16: door and say, Hey, Bouklee, could you please let me
- 36:07Speaker 16: into your super max facility. I'd really like to talk
- 36:10Speaker 16: to one of these prisoners. This guy knew exactly what
- 36:12Speaker 16: he was doing. It was a total political stunt for
- 36:15Speaker 16: optics and for attention. And I would just also like
- 36:17Speaker 16: to point out he did vote against the Lake and
- 36:19Speaker 16: Riley Act. He also has yet to utter the word
- 36:22Speaker 16: the name Rachel Morin, who is a woman from Marylyn
- 36:26Speaker 16: who was beat to death by an illegal immigrant. She
- 36:29Speaker 16: was beat to death so badly that her mother said
- 36:32Speaker 16: that all of the law enforcement had to shield these
- 36:34Speaker 16: pictures from her family because it was so graphic and
- 36:38Speaker 16: so horrific. Interestingly enough, that man never uttered the word
- 36:42Speaker 16: Rachel morn or the name Rachel Morin in his entire career,
- 36:45Speaker 16: and yet wants.
- 36:46Speaker 11: To go out on a limb for these illegal criminals.
- 36:49Speaker 16: Look, I would encourage all of these Democrats to continue
- 36:52Speaker 16: trying to trying to lift up all of these illegals
- 36:55Speaker 16: that Americans voted in November and said we are tired
- 36:58Speaker 16: of this, We want these people to go home. And
- 37:00Speaker 16: I would just like to add President Trump is still
- 37:02Speaker 16: waiting for a thank you from this man for sending
- 37:05Speaker 16: him on a free trip back to his home country.
- 37:08Speaker 16: You're welcome, kilmar Abrigo Garcia, And also You're welcome America.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Now, Sarah.
- 37:14Speaker 2: The Trump administration, Steven Miller has pled with the media
- 37:19Speaker 2: to care as much about Americans killed by illegal immigrants
- 37:24Speaker 2: as they care about illegal immigrants.
- 37:26Speaker 1: There's fifteen million legally aliens a bile edge of the country.
- 37:29Speaker 16: If every one of them got the trial that you're
- 37:31Speaker 16: asking for, it would take US centuries to remove them centuries.
- 37:35Speaker 3: And that's the point here.
- 37:36Speaker 2: If they to observe all these legal challenges, the entire
- 37:42Speaker 2: deportation program is undermined and becomes unworkable.
- 37:47Speaker 3: And it seems like.
- 37:48Speaker 2: That is the plan that the Democrats have got it underway.
- 37:51Speaker 2: They want to make these too difficult to execute.
- 37:56Speaker 11: Yeah, I would completely agree with that.
- 37:58Speaker 16: I mean, you have these people who so my argument
- 38:00Speaker 16: would be that the Constitution was meant for American citizens,
- 38:03Speaker 16: and so therefore due process was meant for American citizens.
- 38:06Speaker 16: And if you come into this country and you commit crimes,
- 38:08Speaker 16: you are not afforded due process. You can be removed
- 38:11Speaker 16: and deported at any time. There is no court hearing
- 38:13Speaker 16: that should be necessary for America to keep ourselves safe.
- 38:17Speaker 16: But on top of that, you have these illegal criminals
- 38:19Speaker 16: who should not have been here in the first place,
- 38:21Speaker 16: like the Kilmar Abrego Garcia who we just referenced, who
- 38:25Speaker 16: just now we find out today from the Department of
- 38:27Speaker 16: Homeland Security he had a restraining order from his wife
- 38:31Speaker 16: several years ago from beating her, from grabbing her, from
- 38:35Speaker 16: bruising her, from ripping her shirt off.
- 38:37Speaker 11: These are not good people, and.
- 38:38Speaker 16: The fact that the Democrats want to go above and
- 38:41Speaker 16: beyond to continue to bring them back into our country
- 38:45Speaker 16: is quite frankly treasonous behavior in my opinion. They are
- 38:48Speaker 16: working day in and day out to make America less safe,
- 38:52Speaker 16: and they're bragging about it in the mainstream media. The
- 38:55Speaker 16: fact that these people have so little self awareness that
- 38:58Speaker 16: they think that this is going to play well in
- 39:00Speaker 16: front of the American people, who again just voted and
- 39:03Speaker 16: said we are done with this open border's lawlessness. We
- 39:06Speaker 16: need safety, we need security, and we need President Trump.
- 39:09Speaker 16: It is not going to play out well in front
- 39:12Speaker 16: of the American people.
- 39:15Speaker 3: No, they're slow learners.
- 39:16Speaker 2: The media gives them a very good run, indeed, because
- 39:18Speaker 2: the media is on the.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Same page as they are.
- 39:20Speaker 2: But for the great majority of Americans, the more the
- 39:24Speaker 2: Democrats talk about this issue, the more they know that
- 39:28Speaker 2: they can't be trusted in government. If you can't protect
- 39:31Speaker 2: a country's borders, then you are not fit for office.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Now I'm going to play you some footage.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Year.
- 39:38Speaker 2: This is a footage a distraught father took of his
- 39:42Speaker 2: three year old during their daily walk in San Francisco.
- 39:47Speaker 3: This is their neighborhood.
- 39:48Speaker 2: They just come back from two weeks away, and this
- 39:50Speaker 2: is what greeted them on their doorstep. The father said,
- 39:55Speaker 2: our politicians are not serious people. Lock these drug dealers
- 39:59Speaker 2: up and mandate jail or rehab. Now, Sarah, that poor
- 40:03Speaker 2: kid witnessing those scenes. It is disturbing. But as the
- 40:09Speaker 2: father explained, this is outside their door. If they want
- 40:12Speaker 2: to go outside and go for a walk, this is
- 40:14Speaker 2: what confronts them. And we are seeing that just not
- 40:17Speaker 2: in San Francisco, but so many of these blue cities
- 40:21Speaker 2: where they have this very permissive attitude to drug use.
- 40:26Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm glad that you mentioned.
- 40:28Speaker 16: The correlation there is that these are all blue cities.
- 40:30Speaker 16: These are all Democrat run cities. Not just for the
- 40:33Speaker 16: last several years, but for the last several decades. These
- 40:36Speaker 16: places have been run by Democrats, and this is the
- 40:39Speaker 16: end result of Democrat policies. A little girl, three years old,
- 40:42Speaker 16: who has no business watching what's in front of her,
- 40:46Speaker 16: seeing all of these drug users right in front of her, horrific,
- 40:49Speaker 16: just stealing her innocence because of Democrat policies to go
- 40:53Speaker 16: easy on drug use, on homelessness, on crime, on all
- 40:57Speaker 16: of it. Now, my hope is that this father, of
- 41:00Speaker 16: course I don't know him, I don't know how he voted,
- 41:02Speaker 16: but oftentimes these people who live in these blue cities
- 41:04Speaker 16: are voting for the very same policies that got them
- 41:07Speaker 16: into the mess in the first place. And so my
- 41:09Speaker 16: hope is that that father will at least acknowledge and
- 41:12Speaker 16: understand the error of San Francisco's ways and do what
- 41:15Speaker 16: he can to stop it, or bare minimum get his daughter,
- 41:19Speaker 16: pack her up and get her the hell out of
- 41:20Speaker 16: San Francisco before it's too late.
- 41:24Speaker 2: But don't move to a state like Texas and then
- 41:27Speaker 2: vote for the very same policies that have seen San
- 41:30Speaker 2: Francisco reduced to that.
- 41:32Speaker 3: That's part of the prob world.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Because sometimes, yes, Texas is full. Yeah, Well, if you're
- 41:39Speaker 2: going to come from California, I think you know they
- 41:40Speaker 2: should be perhaps ten years when you're not allowed to vote,
- 41:44Speaker 2: just until you understand perhaps why Texas works in California
- 41:49Speaker 2: is a mess, Sarah Gonzalez, Thank you so much for
- 41:52Speaker 2: your time.
- 41:54Speaker 11: Thank you still to come.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Alon mask embroiled in yet another Baby Mama scandal.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Kinseysco Field has the latest.
- 42:12Speaker 2: You're watching the reader Panny's show, Joining Me now a
- 42:14Speaker 2: celebrity and royal reporter Kinsey Schofield.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Kinsey's sources close.
- 42:19Speaker 2: To Justin Bieber are becoming increasingly concerned for his mental
- 42:23Speaker 2: health as they watch him disintegrate. A former colleague claims
- 42:28Speaker 2: that Biber is lost and there's no one protecting him.
- 42:32Speaker 2: There's no one there willing to say no to him.
- 42:35Speaker 2: You say no, you get blown out.
- 42:39Speaker 3: What's happening with him? Because I thought he was on
- 42:41Speaker 3: the right track.
- 42:42Speaker 2: He seemed to have found God and was living a
- 42:46Speaker 2: more wholesome life. Maybe that didn't last long, But I've
- 42:49Speaker 2: seen some recent clips and he's a mess.
- 42:53Speaker 12: He really is.
- 42:54Speaker 3: You know.
- 42:54Speaker 8: When I used to hang out with him, there were
- 42:56Speaker 8: always issues with his mother. I remember them getting into
- 42:59Speaker 8: a big fight back stag in an award show because
- 43:01Speaker 8: he was angry that she had written a book about
- 43:04Speaker 8: their life and them and he really felt like it
- 43:06Speaker 8: was a violation of their relationship. A part of me
- 43:10Speaker 8: wonders if it's the new baby in his life, if
- 43:13Speaker 8: he's feeling all of these things about his past now
- 43:16Speaker 8: that he's a father. He was abandoned by his dad
- 43:20Speaker 8: at a young age. I don't know, or is it
- 43:23Speaker 8: Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco. It just feels like he's
- 43:26Speaker 8: dealing with a lot of stuff right now and it's
- 43:29Speaker 8: not manifesting in a very appropriate way.
- 43:36Speaker 2: No, and if he pushes away anybody who tries to
- 43:40Speaker 2: be honest with him about how he's unraveling, it's hard
- 43:43Speaker 2: to see how he's going to.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Snap out of this. We hearing anything from his wife.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Is there anyone who is doing something to address these behaviors?
- 43:54Speaker 8: You know, Haley is trying to fight online bullies. I mean,
- 43:59Speaker 8: that's really been her priority. There's been a lot of
- 44:01Speaker 8: story circulating about their relationship, and I think.
- 44:05Speaker 12: That she's kind of fixated.
- 44:07Speaker 8: On her own brand, similar to somebody we talk about
- 44:10Speaker 8: quite often on this program, Megan Markle. But I do
- 44:13Speaker 8: hope that if Bieber's in a bad place, he gets
- 44:15Speaker 8: some help.
- 44:16Speaker 12: Of course, he slammed these reports, but you do. When
- 44:19Speaker 12: you're in Hollywood, you surround yourself by yes. People.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Now, Elon Musk, we know he has many, many children. Now,
- 44:30Speaker 2: there's rumors that is offered to impregnate right wing influencer
- 44:35Speaker 2: Tiffany Fong and then retaliated by slashing her ex earnings
- 44:41Speaker 2: when she refused. What can you tell me about these allegations.
- 44:46Speaker 2: I'm not sure if I believe this story.
- 44:49Speaker 12: My goodness, can you believe this now?
- 44:51Speaker 8: Phone claims that once she got on his radar and
- 44:54Speaker 8: he became interested in her, she made approximately twenty thousand
- 44:57Speaker 8: dollars a month through Twitter's influencer and said to program,
- 45:01Speaker 8: but when he cut wind that she was gossiping with Ashley,
- 45:06Speaker 8: with Ashley the other baby mama, he cut her reach
- 45:12Speaker 8: on Twitter and the money drad up.
- 45:14Speaker 12: I'm with you.
- 45:15Speaker 8: I don't know where the truth begins and where the
- 45:19Speaker 8: gossip starts. But if she's anything like Ashley, then there
- 45:24Speaker 8: are receipts and we will likely see them at one point.
- 45:29Speaker 3: Well, this is the thing.
- 45:30Speaker 2: I'm surprised if you've got these stories, there's not ample
- 45:34Speaker 2: evidence to back them up.
- 45:36Speaker 3: Text messages, voice messages.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Whatever else, however else you've communicated and talking about Ashley Sinclair,
- 45:44Speaker 2: the mother of Mask's fourteenth child, fourteenth we know about.
- 45:49Speaker 2: She's made some more bombshell claims. She says she turned
- 45:53Speaker 2: down fifteen million dollars from Elon Musk to conceal the
- 45:57Speaker 2: fact that he is the father of her child. She
- 46:01Speaker 2: didn't want the newborn to feel like he's a sacred
- 46:05Speaker 2: and Saint Clairsa revealed her son's name for the first time.
- 46:09Speaker 2: It's a rumorleous Saint Clair.
- 46:13Speaker 8: I mean, when is this guy going to stop naming
- 46:16Speaker 8: his children after Wi Fi passwords? My mind is blown
- 46:19Speaker 8: every time I hear one of these new names.
- 46:21Speaker 12: But you're right. The Wall Street Journal story, one of
- 46:23Speaker 12: the craziest parts.
- 46:24Speaker 8: To me was that he has at least fourteen children
- 46:27Speaker 8: with four women, But sources close to Elon told the
- 46:31Speaker 8: journal that the true number of his children is much
- 46:34Speaker 8: higher than publicly known. He also, and again we talked
- 46:39Speaker 8: about those receipts Ashley Saint Clair showed the Wall Street
- 46:42Speaker 8: Journal some text messages that Elon sent her, where he said,
- 46:46Speaker 8: to reach legion level, that's how many children he wants
- 46:49Speaker 8: Legion level before the apocalypse, we will need to use sarrogates.
- 46:54Speaker 12: That's what one of the text messages read.
- 46:56Speaker 8: Suggesting that he wants to continue pro creator for his legion.
- 47:03Speaker 2: Well, if he's got this many children, I mean, even
- 47:05Speaker 2: if it's just fourteen, just fourteen, I can't believe I'm
- 47:08Speaker 2: saying that he's always seems to be with one. He's
- 47:13Speaker 2: always with little X. I can imagine the others would
- 47:16Speaker 2: be a little bit jealous of the attention X is getting.
- 47:19Speaker 3: Above all others are disus.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Really, this is the stuff that we're going to see
- 47:26Speaker 2: movies and all sorts of books written about down the track. Now,
- 47:30Speaker 2: I want to ask you about Gail King. She's expressed
- 47:34Speaker 2: her displeasure those calling her trip on Jeff Bezos's Blue
- 47:38Speaker 2: Origin spacecraft a space ride.
- 47:41Speaker 3: She finds that very offensive.
- 47:43Speaker 2: She says it's not a ride because they never say
- 47:47Speaker 2: men went.
- 47:48Speaker 3: For a ride.
- 47:48Speaker 2: She's trying to bring in sexism and misogyny into people
- 47:54Speaker 2: who are arguing this was just a frivolous exercise. They're
- 47:58Speaker 2: not astronauts, and let's not pretend end this little stunt
- 48:01Speaker 2: is going to bring about world peace.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Amen.
- 48:05Speaker 8: Yeah, whether or not it's a space rate, I think
- 48:07Speaker 8: it's irrelevant. The real question is whether it's a conflict
- 48:10Speaker 8: of interest, and that estrogen enema that we saw launch
- 48:13Speaker 8: into the sky cost a regular person like you or
- 48:16Speaker 8: I three hundred thousand dollars, and people want to know
- 48:19Speaker 8: if King broke her employer, CBS's rules by accepting gifts
- 48:23Speaker 8: for good coverage in the process of this ego trip.
- 48:26Speaker 12: I'm much more interested in that.
- 48:27Speaker 8: This feels like Gail trying to distract from the real issue,
- 48:30Speaker 8: and that's whether or not this was morally corrupt.
- 48:35Speaker 2: Well, I just can't believe the carry on, Kinsey. These
- 48:40Speaker 2: women have put on such a performance afterwards.
- 48:44Speaker 3: I think no one would have.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Been critical if they did this and they shared their experience.
- 48:49Speaker 2: But every single one that I've seen, whether it's Laura Sanchez,
- 48:53Speaker 2: whether it's Katie Perry or Gail King, has tried to
- 48:56Speaker 2: paint this stunt as some welld changing significant event, not
- 49:03Speaker 2: just for womanhood but for mankind. And it's just so
- 49:08Speaker 2: self delighted, so divorced from reality, it's hard.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Not to mock it.
- 49:14Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, maybe it's not a space ride, maybe
- 49:17Speaker 8: it's just an ego trip.
- 49:18Speaker 12: At the end of the day, it's an ego trip.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Ego trip exactly exactly, Kinsey Schofield, You've nailed it there,
- 49:26Speaker 2: thank you so much for your time tonight, and that's
- 49:29Speaker 2: it from May.
- 49:30Speaker 3: I'll see you tomorrow night.
- 49:32Speaker 2: For Left, he's losing it at nine pm up next
- 49:35Speaker 2: it's Newsnight.
