- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome to the Rogue Recap. Hot takes, cold facts, and
- 0:05Speaker 1: zero respect for the official narrative. Sit back, roll your eyes,
- 0:10Speaker 1: and let's recap rogue style.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Welcome everybody to the Rogue Recap. This is episode seven
- 0:33Speaker 2: of Soundbites. I'm here with my great friend Eric Eggers. Eric,
- 0:35Speaker 2: how are you today?
- 0:37Speaker 3: I'm well, But it occurs to me that something's changed
- 0:41Speaker 3: in this episode. You know, we talk about some potentially
- 0:44Speaker 3: troubling aspects of what's happening in American society and some
- 0:47Speaker 3: things to be worried about. And you and I have
- 0:49Speaker 3: never appeared to be more in tactical gear than we
- 0:52Speaker 3: are in this episode. Like, I think we both look
- 0:55Speaker 3: like we might be ready for something that's that accident.
- 0:57Speaker 4: I just want everybody to know, like we don't know anything,
- 0:59Speaker 4: you'd I don't know as far as that goes.
- 1:02Speaker 2: My son the other day, we were coming in from
- 1:04Speaker 2: somewhere running errands, you know, YadA YadA, and I always
- 1:07Speaker 2: carry always, so I was looking for something in my
- 1:10Speaker 2: purse and he goes, Mom, is that a gun in
- 1:14Speaker 2: your bag? And I'm like yeah, he goes, man, You're
- 1:16Speaker 2: just ready, right, Mama. I'm like yeah, baby, Mama's always ready.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I was like, it's never going to be a moment
- 1:22Speaker 2: where I'm gonna say, Damn, I wish I had my gun.
- 1:24Speaker 2: It's gonna be like, damn, so glad I have my gun.
- 1:27Speaker 2: So he started laughing, but it made me think. I
- 1:28Speaker 2: was like, God, the world we live in.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Right, I always I also am always ready, and that
- 1:33Speaker 3: by that I mean I am always ready to call
- 1:35Speaker 3: in take care of whatever the problem is.
- 1:38Speaker 4: I am wearing running well, I'm curled up in the
- 1:42Speaker 4: fetal position.
- 1:43Speaker 2: So I'm telling you, man, every time I go to
- 1:46Speaker 2: the range, I just think to myself everybody, it's this
- 1:50Speaker 2: is such a pivot. But it's like, you gotta practice.
- 1:52Speaker 2: You gotta go to the range. You gotta practice, you know.
- 1:54Speaker 2: And I have a non lethal weapon and I have
- 1:56Speaker 2: a lethal weapon. I'm gonna shoot you first and just
- 1:58Speaker 2: try to knock you down so that you know, knock
- 2:00Speaker 2: it off. And if you don't knock it off, I'll
- 2:02Speaker 2: just shoot you in the kneecaps so you can't come
- 2:03Speaker 2: after me. You know, I'm not gonna sometimes it's center
- 2:05Speaker 2: masks because I want to end it because you're, you know,
- 2:07Speaker 2: a rapist or murderer. Maybe you should go, you know,
- 2:10Speaker 2: but if you're just like stupid and you're like screaming
- 2:13Speaker 2: and maybe you're jumping on my car, I'll just shoot
- 2:14Speaker 2: you in the kneecap, knock you out. You know, you're
- 2:17Speaker 2: gonna need some surgery. It's gonna be a pain in
- 2:19Speaker 2: your ass, and you're not gonna bother anybody for a while.
- 2:21Speaker 2: You know, you're not pushing anybody down subway steps.
- 2:23Speaker 5: You know.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Honestly, I should get an award for that. I'm helping
- 2:27Speaker 2: the part.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I'm I'm just glad that we could took a seven
- 2:30Speaker 3: episodes for us to use the phrase center Max in
- 2:32Speaker 3: the first two minutes of an episode, but we did it,
- 2:35Speaker 3: you know, and it worked naturally organically.
- 2:37Speaker 4: And this is a new show. But here we are.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Well, welcome to episode seven of our new show. Last night,
- 2:44Speaker 2: so that we're recording this on Wednesday, May twenty seventh,
- 2:47Speaker 2: and last night, John Corny got the shit kicked out
- 2:50Speaker 2: of them. For those of you who don't know, I
- 2:53Speaker 2: hate John Cornyn, I hate John Thune, I hate every
- 2:56Speaker 2: Rhino establishment piece of shit in our Congress. And it
- 2:59Speaker 2: was so nice to see a victory and super stoked
- 3:03Speaker 2: about Ken Paxton winning. People are like, oh, no, he's
- 3:06Speaker 2: gonna go up against tall Rico. I'm like, tall Rico
- 3:09Speaker 2: is talking about vegan meat and trans kids, like this
- 3:12Speaker 2: is not something that Texans give a rip about. I'm sorry,
- 3:16Speaker 2: I really have difficulty with this guy.
- 3:20Speaker 3: What do you think I thought Ken Paxton's line. You know,
- 3:23Speaker 3: he told a little mini Trump right. He had a
- 3:25Speaker 3: few different kind of nicknames for mister tall Rico, but
- 3:28Speaker 3: I thought his nickname Jimmy six genders. But it is
- 3:35Speaker 3: interesting and I am ignorant a little bit about the seeds.
- 3:40Speaker 3: I mean, I know some of why you find mister Cornyan,
- 3:43Speaker 3: former Senator Cornyn to be distasteful. But then some of
- 3:45Speaker 3: these clips we have of him, I think maybe shed
- 3:47Speaker 3: some more light on what you believe about the future
- 3:50Speaker 3: former senator from text.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Yes, I'm not even gonna set them up. I'm going
- 3:53Speaker 2: to play them for you guys, and then we'll talk
- 3:55Speaker 2: on the other side. Here's cut one of Cornyn. Are
- 3:59Speaker 2: you and you will run for your life?
- 4:01Speaker 6: And yeah? You do you think? I mean god willing? Well, yeah,
- 4:09Speaker 6: what does the aw.
- 4:13Speaker 2: That's cut one. In case you didn't hear it, somebody
- 4:16Speaker 2: asked him, do you think you're going to win, and
- 4:18Speaker 2: he said, haha, God willing or in shalah because suddenly
- 4:23Speaker 2: he's fluent Arabic. Give me a break.
- 4:26Speaker 7: Hi, I'm Texas Senator John Cornyn. I want to take
- 4:29Speaker 7: a moment to say I know this year's Ramadan will
- 4:32Speaker 7: be different from those before, and that's why it's important
- 4:35Speaker 7: to keep the spirit of hope in community alive.
- 4:38Speaker 2: I wish you all good.
- 4:39Speaker 7: Fast and that you and your friends and families stay
- 4:42Speaker 7: safe during this challenging time. Ramadad Obarak.
- 4:50Speaker 2: So, yeah, a lot of really good highlights there of
- 4:53Speaker 2: why Cornyan didn't win. Because we've got massive issues in
- 4:59Speaker 2: Texas with this lack of assimilation and an influx of
- 5:03Speaker 2: radical Islam. Right, so people everywhere are going, yo man,
- 5:08Speaker 2: this is Texas. We've got a gajillion people from India,
- 5:12Speaker 2: a gajillion people from Arabic nations. None of them are
- 5:15Speaker 2: speaking English. They're taking our jobs or taking over our streets.
- 5:19Speaker 2: They wanted to build the Epic Center. Oh and guess
- 5:21Speaker 2: who was helping with the funding for all of that,
- 5:23Speaker 2: John Cornyn's daughter. So, needless to say, not a big
- 5:27Speaker 2: shock why some people instead of saying yo man, it's Texas. Yiha,
- 5:31Speaker 2: and here's some steak he's like in Chilah Mobhart.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Well the you know, we're gonna hear from Minneapolis mayor
- 5:37Speaker 3: Jacob Fry later in the show. But it reminds me
- 5:40Speaker 3: these videos of John Cornyn remind me of when the
- 5:43Speaker 3: Democrats in the house like put on like the kintake cloth,
- 5:46Speaker 3: you know, and they kneeled. They're kind of like Coast
- 5:49Speaker 3: Blaine as like culturally aware or sensitive or at least
- 5:52Speaker 3: in touch with a culture that's not theirs.
- 5:55Speaker 6: You know.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Look, I have Muslim friends, and what I would love
- 5:58Speaker 3: to know is how many of them are like you
- 5:59Speaker 3: know who. I love John Cornyn and it really meant
- 6:02Speaker 3: a lot to me that he wished me a happy ramadant.
- 6:04Speaker 4: That was a big deal.
- 6:05Speaker 3: That'm Republican in Texas. That's what I was looking for
- 6:07Speaker 3: to help kick off my fast. It's so I just
- 6:09Speaker 3: think it seems so needless. It's needless. And also you
- 6:13Speaker 3: know when you have I mean, ultimately, John Cornyn lost
- 6:15Speaker 3: because he was not a fan of and not a
- 6:18Speaker 3: supporter of helping Donald Trump, and so many people in
- 6:20Speaker 3: the Republican base want to pass the save ac right.
- 6:22Speaker 3: I bottom line if they supported things that are actually
- 6:25Speaker 3: important to the base of this party, then I think
- 6:27Speaker 3: it's a different story. So when you seem to you know,
- 6:29Speaker 3: and I'm sure you could pull clips of him doing
- 6:31Speaker 3: other things, but when you appear to be interested in
- 6:34Speaker 3: appeasing people that are not your you know, not your
- 6:37Speaker 3: kind of core constituents, and not doing the things that
- 6:40Speaker 3: the people have voted for you want you to do,
- 6:41Speaker 3: you know, then you find yourself at office.
- 6:43Speaker 4: And that's exactly what happened one hundred percent.
- 6:44Speaker 2: And I think too. You know, he's been in office
- 6:46Speaker 2: for twenty four years, So twenty four years as a
- 6:49Speaker 2: sitting senator. What have you done for me lately? Absolutely nothing.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Well, listen, I remember, and this is you know, kind
- 6:56Speaker 3: of a deep cut. But so I'm I live in Tallahassee, Florida,
- 6:59Speaker 3: and I remember twenty ten like this first kind of
- 7:01Speaker 3: stea change election was we had a governor named Charlie
- 7:04Speaker 3: Christ and he was going to run for He was
- 7:07Speaker 3: a Republican, right, and he could have run for reelection
- 7:09Speaker 3: as governor as a Republican, would have been re elected,
- 7:12Speaker 3: and then he would have been set up, you know,
- 7:14Speaker 3: kind of quite nicely as a presidential hopeful. Instead, he
- 7:16Speaker 3: chose to run for Senate. They chose to run for
- 7:18Speaker 3: Senate against the former Speaker of the Florida House who
- 7:21Speaker 3: didn't have much of a national profile named Marko Rubio.
- 7:24Speaker 3: And so, but John Cornyn, then the head of the
- 7:27Speaker 3: National Republic Senate Committee, endorsed at the time Charlie crist
- 7:31Speaker 3: over Marko Rubio.
- 7:32Speaker 4: He was considered to be the front runner.
- 7:34Speaker 3: And obviously Rubio ended up kind of like winning in
- 7:37Speaker 3: the primary and then Chris drops out, rants independances, the
- 7:39Speaker 3: whole thing. But you know, so Cornyn has a long
- 7:43Speaker 3: history of maybe not exactly being in touch with the
- 7:46Speaker 3: most conservative aspect of the.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Party, and to that point when we think about not
- 7:50Speaker 2: being conservative. So the Save America Act, which is pretty
- 7:53Speaker 2: interesting to me, has an eighty four percent approval rating.
- 7:56Speaker 2: But it's bipartisan. So people on the left people on
- 7:59Speaker 2: the right both saying, you know what, I'm all in
- 8:02Speaker 2: on us having honest and elections with integrity. Great, let's
- 8:06Speaker 2: try that, right, something new, who knows, But then you
- 8:10Speaker 2: have John Thune, you know, Cornyn's best buddy. So John,
- 8:14Speaker 2: you know, fun is just as bad as John Cornyn. Right,
- 8:16Speaker 2: So John Thune has been behind Cornyn the entire time
- 8:20Speaker 2: that he has been this rhino establishment scumbag, and he's like,
- 8:23Speaker 2: you know what, that looks good to me. I'm going
- 8:25Speaker 2: to go out and I'm going to support Pence, and
- 8:27Speaker 2: I'm going to support McConnell and I'm going to support Cornyn.
- 8:30Speaker 2: By the way, I'm going to put one hundred million
- 8:32Speaker 2: dollars taxpayer dollars are NC funding that we could be
- 8:37Speaker 2: putting behind other candidates into John Cornyan. How much time
- 8:41Speaker 2: and money has he put into the Save America Act?
- 8:43Speaker 2: When he went on vacation again last week, not passing
- 8:46Speaker 2: any DHS funding, not passing any of the candidates that
- 8:50Speaker 2: are waiting and getting these pro form of votes every week.
- 8:53Speaker 2: None of that happened. He's on vacation, back home, barbecue
- 8:57Speaker 2: and by the way, hope you're enjoying that time. Fuon
- 8:59Speaker 2: because you're man, Your ass is on its way out.
- 9:03Speaker 2: You will not win. You are going to get kicked
- 9:05Speaker 2: to the curb, and everybody's pissed off. Not a moment
- 9:09Speaker 2: on the Save America Act. One hundred million into inshala
- 9:12Speaker 2: over here.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Yeah, you saw Steve Krnakiy on MSNBC react like almost
- 9:17Speaker 3: immediately that how decisive, Uh the victory was for John Paxton,
- 9:21Speaker 3: like or Ken Paxton immediately. And so I think that
- 9:23Speaker 3: the lesson is bottom line, look, people want to save acts.
- 9:26Speaker 3: I think what came down to. And so you know,
- 9:28Speaker 3: for all to talk about oh tall Rico and you know,
- 9:30Speaker 3: now is this now a lean Republican seat as opposed
- 9:33Speaker 3: to a like the Republican seat and all that stuff.
- 9:35Speaker 3: I think if you keep it about the main thing,
- 9:37Speaker 3: that same energy will yeah, I think, and I would say, ah, this,
- 9:41Speaker 3: you know, we got a couple weeks ago. But if
- 9:42Speaker 3: Steve Hilton ends up winning or finishing in the top
- 9:45Speaker 3: two in California, I think it will largely be partly
- 9:48Speaker 3: because of the strength of voter ID and the fact
- 9:50Speaker 3: that we should require voter ID in elections in California
- 9:52Speaker 3: as well. That's going to be something he's obviously in
- 9:54Speaker 3: favor of. So yeah, it's interesting to see if election
- 9:57Speaker 3: integrity is that matter and elections across the country.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And I think to that point, we're talking about California
- 10:02Speaker 2: for a brief moment. You know, a lot of people
- 10:04Speaker 2: don't understand the Jungle primary, which is basically whoever the
- 10:08Speaker 2: top two are totally unrelated to party. That's who goes
- 10:11Speaker 2: into the final you know, primary race and so then
- 10:14Speaker 2: general election. Right, So the top two right now on
- 10:17Speaker 2: the ticket are Bianco and Hilton. So you've got two
- 10:20Speaker 2: Republicans leading in California. Hasn't happened and god knows how long.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I think a large part of that is that most
- 10:26Speaker 2: people now are saying, you know what, I'm actually not
- 10:28Speaker 2: in favor of crackheads and homeless everywhere as I walk
- 10:31Speaker 2: my five year old to kindergarten. Perhaps there's another way, right,
- 10:35Speaker 2: and then the palis as fire thing. Right, we look
- 10:36Speaker 2: at Bass, we look at Newsome. Here's the problem. So
- 10:39Speaker 2: the jungle primary has worked for them for a very
- 10:41Speaker 2: long time, and they've been able to lie and now
- 10:43Speaker 2: they got a lot of eyeballs on them. They've also
- 10:45Speaker 2: got a great da out there. I mean that guy
- 10:48Speaker 2: Bill Elias. Elias am I saying his name right, He's
- 10:52Speaker 2: phenomenal and he's done some pretty bold moves. I'm like, okay,
- 10:57Speaker 2: so you're definitely a Republican and you are in the
- 10:59Speaker 2: backquestion Democrat, you know, demonization of all things, and they,
- 11:04Speaker 2: I mean, they just passed the Nick Shirley Act not
- 11:07Speaker 2: allowing people to do investigative journalism. I'm like, I'm so sorry.
- 11:11Speaker 2: This is the Party of Freedom, right. Have you heard
- 11:13Speaker 2: of the First Amendment or did you miss that page?
- 11:16Speaker 2: You just what the page too, I don't know what happened. Anyways,
- 11:18Speaker 2: I digress. But they want to get away and stop
- 11:21Speaker 2: that jungle primary. And Newsom is saying he's got some
- 11:24Speaker 2: tools in his bag to kick that jungle primary out
- 11:29Speaker 2: and now put something else into effect so that they
- 11:31Speaker 2: don't end up with the top two contenders. I'm like,
- 11:34Speaker 2: are you kidding me? Like, I just I don't know
- 11:37Speaker 2: how that works. I really don't. I don't know how
- 11:38Speaker 2: the governor comes in and does that.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Well.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Remember they had a constitutional amendment that said you're supposed
- 11:43Speaker 3: to have a nonpartisan independent commission draw the redistrictine lines
- 11:47Speaker 3: for the congressional seats. And they did away with that
- 11:49Speaker 3: right and the just passed it right initiative, So I
- 11:51Speaker 3: mean that, Yeah, they kind of make it up as
- 11:53Speaker 3: they go along.
- 11:53Speaker 4: In California.
- 11:54Speaker 3: The good news, everything's working great in California. Yeah, So
- 11:55Speaker 3: it's a model for governance.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Big absolutely doing well. So since we're talking about the
- 12:00Speaker 2: save America Act. I think we'll go to We have
- 12:02Speaker 2: a cut of timber Chet. Timberchet obviously a stalwart in
- 12:06Speaker 2: the House. This guy is no nonsense, just tells it
- 12:10Speaker 2: like it is. And he was in a meeting last
- 12:13Speaker 2: week as they were breaking for a Memorial Day and
- 12:16Speaker 2: he was out of his mind angry. It was working
- 12:18Speaker 2: till like one two o'clock in the morning. He was
- 12:21Speaker 2: in the Capitol and he was like, I just was
- 12:23Speaker 2: in this meeting. It was a closed door meeting with
- 12:25Speaker 2: Senate and House members, Dems and Republicans, and I watched
- 12:29Speaker 2: our leadership completely and totally capitulate to the Democrats and
- 12:33Speaker 2: give them everything they wanted. And he said, and we
- 12:36Speaker 2: as a House, obviously this final push is happening in
- 12:39Speaker 2: the Senate, have no control over what fun and these
- 12:43Speaker 2: other assholes are doing. So he's been great on the
- 12:46Speaker 2: Save Act. This is a really good cut of him
- 12:48Speaker 2: sort of explaining what is happening with the Save Act.
- 12:51Speaker 2: It's a little long, but probably cut out into a
- 12:53Speaker 2: minute in it. But I do think it's worth listening
- 12:55Speaker 2: to anything you want to add to that.
- 12:57Speaker 3: No, I think it's perfect, I think, and I mean
- 12:59Speaker 3: it's a weird I think we have this and then
- 13:01Speaker 3: we have I think Susie Wall's after this, and I
- 13:02Speaker 3: think it's all kind of connected because at the end
- 13:05Speaker 3: of the day, I think people are kind of waking
- 13:06Speaker 3: up to like, hey, we have real problems in this
- 13:08Speaker 3: country when it comes to elections, and you get some
- 13:10Speaker 3: recent evidence of what happens if we don't take election
- 13:12Speaker 3: Tegrity series.
- 13:12Speaker 2: No, I agree, let's play this one.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Hey, everybody, Tim Barchet.
- 13:20Speaker 8: People are asking me about what's going on with the
- 13:22Speaker 8: Sable America Act. Well, the Senate, of course, is dragging
- 13:27Speaker 8: their feet. The House has passed it twice.
- 13:30Speaker 6: I've got a snake in suspicion. They'll probably attempt to.
- 13:35Speaker 8: Pass it or pass it so late in the dad
- 13:38Speaker 8: gum game that it can't get implemented, and then they
- 13:41Speaker 8: can go home and say, oh, look we passed it,
- 13:44Speaker 8: and everybody would be celebrating, pat them on the back,
- 13:47Speaker 8: and then it just cannot get implemented at the state
- 13:51Speaker 8: and local level in time for it to have any
- 13:53Speaker 8: effect in these elections. And ultimately, I think that's what
- 13:58Speaker 8: you've got. And I'm afraid in the Senate leadership they
- 14:04Speaker 8: have such a hatred of Trump and the conservative movement.
- 14:08Speaker 8: They want things to go back to the status quo,
- 14:10Speaker 8: which is them being called from the golf course by
- 14:16Speaker 8: the Democrats when it's time to make a vote, and
- 14:20Speaker 8: they do the obligatorial. We don't like what they're doing,
- 14:23Speaker 8: and they get their crumbs off the side of the
- 14:27Speaker 8: table and for their districts, and they go home and
- 14:31Speaker 8: get re elected.
- 14:33Speaker 6: And I'm afraid that's exactly what they're up to.
- 14:36Speaker 2: So I have to tell you everything about this. I
- 14:41Speaker 2: love I love that he is at home. I love
- 14:44Speaker 2: that he's in front of his garage. I love that
- 14:46Speaker 2: he is just talking to us. I love it. I
- 14:50Speaker 2: think it's incredible that he takes that time on what
- 14:53Speaker 2: looks like probably a Sunday morning, he's probably heading the church,
- 14:56Speaker 2: and he's just like, I don't have an answer. He goes,
- 14:59Speaker 2: they're going to do this in such a way that
- 15:02Speaker 2: we get every establishment asshole and every liberal elected and
- 15:06Speaker 2: every conservative buried. But they're going to do it in
- 15:09Speaker 2: a way where they pass it, just not in a
- 15:10Speaker 2: way they can implement it.
- 15:13Speaker 4: I think you're right.
- 15:13Speaker 3: I think he came home from church and got you know,
- 15:15Speaker 3: took off the shirt and tie, got his undershirt, Tim
- 15:18Speaker 3: Burchett is like elite Tim Burchett, you know what I mean,
- 15:20Speaker 3: Like I liked the brown coat before, but now he's summertime,
- 15:24Speaker 3: so we have to do a new look in the video.
- 15:26Speaker 3: But yeah, look he's telling the truth and he's talking
- 15:28Speaker 3: directly to the American people. And you know, we've had
- 15:31Speaker 3: a chance to interview him before.
- 15:32Speaker 4: He's great.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Yes, he's so no nonsense and he's so I mean.
- 15:35Speaker 3: My favorite thing about it he sponsored a bill, I think,
- 15:38Speaker 3: to make it legal to eat roadkill in his home state.
- 15:41Speaker 3: So I know, oh yeah, he's I don't know that.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I'm behind that. That's kind of I'm not into tired a.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Man of the people. Okay, big government, So listen.
- 15:52Speaker 2: You can't do it. I have to say it. I
- 15:53Speaker 2: don't want to be that night.
- 15:56Speaker 3: No, But you know, I think the reality is is
- 15:58Speaker 3: that because so many people want to know, I mean,
- 16:01Speaker 3: that's why.
- 16:01Speaker 4: I think that explains that.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Again to Ken Paxton, John Corner, results people like why
- 16:05Speaker 3: are we not doing this? And so he's like, look,
- 16:07Speaker 3: I think it's just because they'd like the status quo.
- 16:09Speaker 3: They think by not doing radical things like requiring voter
- 16:13Speaker 3: i D, they're actually protecting the party because I think
- 16:15Speaker 3: like middle of the road is what wins. Democrats lose
- 16:18Speaker 3: because they're too extreme. They actually think voter id requirements
- 16:20Speaker 3: are too extreme. On the right side, they're insane. That's
- 16:23Speaker 3: what happens when you hang out in the bubble of
- 16:24Speaker 3: WASHINGTDC for two decades.
- 16:26Speaker 2: It's honestly, so well said. I watched Timberchat, I watch Luna,
- 16:31Speaker 2: I see Mike Lee and Rick Scott, and it is
- 16:35Speaker 2: such a struggle for them, right. And then you have
- 16:39Speaker 2: these people, you know, the Lindsay Grahams and the McConnell's,
- 16:43Speaker 2: and they vacillate in these weird worlds where it's like,
- 16:46Speaker 2: can you just show me your bank account? I just
- 16:49Speaker 2: want to see it. I want to see who has
- 16:52Speaker 2: wired you money in the last six months, just for
- 16:55Speaker 2: shits and giggles, just to see how they would act, right,
- 16:57Speaker 2: because what we are seeing every time is once we uncover,
- 17:02Speaker 2: like the Cornins and the Funes, where your money's coming from. Like,
- 17:06Speaker 2: you know, douchebag Massy wants to stand up there and say, oh,
- 17:09Speaker 2: I wanted to call my you know, to concede, but
- 17:12Speaker 2: you know he was in Tel Aviv. I'm like, you're
- 17:15Speaker 2: taking money from Soros and Qatar. Why don't you shut
- 17:18Speaker 2: your trap and stop? You know everybody knows you're big slut.
- 17:22Speaker 2: You had a lot of fun, You're doing a lot
- 17:25Speaker 2: of things, and you know, this girlfriend comes out and
- 17:27Speaker 2: is talking about that he's some kind of like evil
- 17:29Speaker 2: canevil in the bedroom asking her to submit and do
- 17:32Speaker 2: all this other gross stuff. And she is a former
- 17:34Speaker 2: staffer for Bobert and she's like, I had to leave
- 17:37Speaker 2: the Capitol because he was so controlling and psychotic. Meanwhile,
- 17:41Speaker 2: his wife was only gone a month. I'm like, what
- 17:44Speaker 2: the hell's going on? I thought that, like, is everybody
- 17:47Speaker 2: there just a deviant? I guess so.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Well, they say politics is Hollywood for ugly people, oh
- 17:54Speaker 3: and so but yeah, I would say, you know, the
- 17:59Speaker 3: the save acts I think can actually be helped dramatically
- 18:02Speaker 3: and significantly if what Susie Wilds is talking about does
- 18:06Speaker 3: come to fruition. So I think the White House maybe
- 18:08Speaker 3: still has some cards to play on this. You found
- 18:10Speaker 3: this clip. I can't believe it's been three weeks since
- 18:13Speaker 3: it was played.
- 18:13Speaker 4: I haven't seen this anywhere and it is kind of
- 18:15Speaker 4: one of those.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Records scratch, like wait what because Susie Wilds is not
- 18:19Speaker 3: one that's prone to hyperbole or exaggeration.
- 18:23Speaker 4: She's very understated. She's measured.
- 18:25Speaker 3: So for her to say this, I think was significant,
- 18:29Speaker 3: not just for like what it would have meant historically,
- 18:30Speaker 3: but what it might mean moving forward for the passage
- 18:33Speaker 3: of the Save Act specifically.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Correct, Okay, when you first started working with President Trump,
- 18:38Speaker 2: what was the biggest This is not what I was briefed.
- 18:41Speaker 6: For a moment.
- 18:44Speaker 5: I was after I did not go into the White
- 18:47Speaker 5: House in sixteen the twenty election. Twenty twenty election I
- 18:50Speaker 5: worked for I ran Florida, and then when he came
- 18:54Speaker 5: back to Florida after leaving the White House, he called
- 18:56Speaker 5: me and invited me to dinner, which I was not
- 18:58Speaker 5: in the inner circle.
- 19:00Speaker 9: Just overwhelmed. I couldn't imagine why.
- 19:05Speaker 5: I drove down to mar A Lago, which I think
- 19:07Speaker 5: he thought, I live, you know, ten minutes from there,
- 19:09Speaker 5: but it's really four hours.
- 19:11Speaker 9: And we had a lovely dinner.
- 19:13Speaker 5: And at the end of it, he wanted to know
- 19:15Speaker 5: why he won Florida but maybe struggled in some other
- 19:20Speaker 5: states that I think we're going to find out he
- 19:21Speaker 5: actually did win.
- 19:24Speaker 9: But I wrote, like an after action.
- 19:27Speaker 5: Report, gave it to him to read, and as I
- 19:29Speaker 5: was going out the door, he said, I have a
- 19:33Speaker 5: pack and I think it has money in it, but
- 19:36Speaker 5: I'm not sure and I'm not sure who works there.
- 19:39Speaker 9: Can you take that over? And I said, well, sir,
- 19:42Speaker 9: you know I have a job.
- 19:43Speaker 5: He said, no, you can do it in your free
- 19:44Speaker 5: time and get it done in a week or so,
- 19:47Speaker 5: and I did so here I am.
- 19:52Speaker 2: So I think the high level of that is I've
- 19:55Speaker 2: actually never seen her humorous ever. Got She's all so like,
- 20:01Speaker 2: it's all about business and by the way, you're in
- 20:03Speaker 2: my way. So I'm like, uh, I don't ever want
- 20:05Speaker 2: to piss her off, you know. But it's that moment
- 20:08Speaker 2: where she says, I think we're going to find out
- 20:11Speaker 2: that he actually won a bunch of those states. It's
- 20:14Speaker 2: so passing. It's not anything you would hear. It's not
- 20:19Speaker 2: anything you would notice. Like it's just one of those
- 20:21Speaker 2: things where you're like, wait, what did she just say,
- 20:24Speaker 2: and then you hear it and you go, oh shit,
- 20:27Speaker 2: So it is. It is real because those of us
- 20:29Speaker 2: who raise those questions following twenty twenty and we looked
- 20:33Speaker 2: at these, you know, to go down a rabbit hole
- 20:36Speaker 2: for a hot second. And there's no one better to
- 20:38Speaker 2: talk to ladies and gentlemen than Eric Egger's about this
- 20:41Speaker 2: because he did direct the movie The Creepy Line. He
- 20:44Speaker 2: had this movie out in twenty eighteen, Right, Eric, Am
- 20:46Speaker 2: I wrong?
- 20:47Speaker 3: Well, The Creepy Line came out in twenty eighteen. We
- 20:49Speaker 3: talk about how Google and Facebook can you know, kind
- 20:51Speaker 3: of manipulate and shift opinions and voting behavior. And then
- 20:53Speaker 3: my book about election fraud also came out in twenty eighteen.
- 20:57Speaker 3: But and you know, and I'm talking to people, I
- 20:58Speaker 3: know you're talking to people, and actually, like, you know,
- 21:00Speaker 3: issues surrounding the twenty twenty election is kind of how
- 21:02Speaker 3: we first got connected. They like start looking at some
- 21:05Speaker 3: of this stuff, and I think, you know, the things
- 21:07Speaker 3: you hear now from the people on the ground about
- 21:09Speaker 3: Fulton County ballots, the things you hear now from people
- 21:12Speaker 3: in some of these other states with some questions, right,
- 21:14Speaker 3: whether it's Michigan or Sars. And I do think, yeah,
- 21:18Speaker 3: I think, you know, it's amazing what happens when people
- 21:22Speaker 3: are they they now have access to stuff. And to me,
- 21:25Speaker 3: you know, we talked about California and Chad Bianco. I
- 21:29Speaker 3: thought it was very telling when and that California redishutine
- 21:33Speaker 3: initiative he seized as sheriff. I think of a Riverside county,
- 21:39Speaker 3: these six hundred and fifty thousand ballots, because he had
- 21:42Speaker 3: an independent citizens group say look, we think there's a
- 21:45Speaker 3: discrepancy here about forty thousand ballots versus like what the
- 21:48Speaker 3: records say we're cast versus what the official people say
- 21:51Speaker 3: we're counted.
- 21:51Speaker 4: So we just want to.
- 21:52Speaker 6: Look at it.
- 21:53Speaker 4: So to me, it's like, hey, the vote's over.
- 21:55Speaker 3: So this guy wants to do an investigation look at
- 21:57Speaker 3: these things, and the Supreme Court stopped him. And so
- 22:00Speaker 3: what I'm saying is like, that's basically what happened. After
- 22:02Speaker 3: twenty twenty. The posture of all these kind of overseen
- 22:06Speaker 3: courses been No, we're not allowed to look at it.
- 22:07Speaker 3: You're not going to do it, even though there's no
- 22:09Speaker 3: threat to I think you know you're not. No one's
- 22:12Speaker 3: being suppressed to vote by looking at what Stepan's It
- 22:14Speaker 3: was already done. But now that they're back in the
- 22:16Speaker 3: White House and they've got, you know, kind of good
- 22:18Speaker 3: relationships with some of these key states, Yes, I think
- 22:21Speaker 3: to me, That's what that Susie Wilas quote says is
- 22:23Speaker 3: that they've got access to stuff now that they can
- 22:27Speaker 3: look at. And you know, obviously big text not actively
- 22:29Speaker 3: censored in the way they were in the aftermath of
- 22:31Speaker 3: twenty twenty.
- 22:32Speaker 4: So stay tuned. I mean, you know, I don't think
- 22:34Speaker 4: anybody would be really.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Shocked to say, oh wow, really, that whole tranche of
- 22:38Speaker 3: ballots that came at two am, there's some real questions
- 22:39Speaker 3: about that.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Yeah, and it was then.
- 22:41Speaker 3: I think all it does is provide momentum for this
- 22:43Speaker 3: push to have common sense election integrity reforms, including voter
- 22:46Speaker 3: ID Yes.
- 22:47Speaker 2: And I believe beyond that point as well, is we're
- 22:49Speaker 2: talking about those mail in ballots. We are looking at
- 22:53Speaker 2: the mail in ballot is such a pervasive part of
- 22:56Speaker 2: the election integrity conversation. And sure, if you want to
- 22:59Speaker 2: give it to you, you know, absentee ballots for those
- 23:02Speaker 2: who are maybe serving abroad, right or they're in Iran,
- 23:05Speaker 2: they're in Poland they're being stationed somewhere. Fine. But one
- 23:08Speaker 2: of the things that we saw, and I specifically talked
- 23:11Speaker 2: to a lot of people who witnessed this, was we
- 23:13Speaker 2: had people that were literally they had worked the poles, like, like,
- 23:16Speaker 2: my dad works the polls, you know, he's worked them
- 23:18Speaker 2: for thirty years, and he knows Harry and Joe from
- 23:21Speaker 2: down the street, and they come in, Hey, Harry, who
- 23:22Speaker 2: are you voting for? And it's blah blah blah. You know,
- 23:24Speaker 2: it's no big deal. But what they started to see
- 23:29Speaker 2: was these mail in ballots that were pristine, clean, perfectly
- 23:33Speaker 2: filled out ovals. Right, So if you're like the rest
- 23:37Speaker 2: of America, you get your ballot, it comes in, it
- 23:40Speaker 2: sits on the kitchen table, in your car, under your keys,
- 23:43Speaker 2: your coffee cup. It is not pristine, right, There's nothing
- 23:46Speaker 2: pristine about living life. It is a hot mess. And
- 23:48Speaker 2: that's on a good day. So the idea that like
- 23:51Speaker 2: thousands of ballots came in. So people started to call,
- 23:54Speaker 2: and people started to ask that, well, hey, anybody else
- 23:58Speaker 2: see this? Oh yeah, you know, and thousands of people
- 24:00Speaker 2: were reporting the same thing. And suddenly everybody who reported
- 24:03Speaker 2: something that seemed like an outlier was a conspiracy theorist, right,
- 24:07Speaker 2: because conspiracy theorist tinfoil hat. I never heard of these expressions.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Suddenly they remainstream, right, And it was so odd to
- 24:14Speaker 2: me because I felt like it was like twenty twenty
- 24:16Speaker 2: election and COVID were these two sy ups by our
- 24:20Speaker 2: government and by what I would call, you know, this
- 24:23Speaker 2: big government, deep state, these operatives. Man, they were so
- 24:27Speaker 2: ready and we were so not ready, right because we're
- 24:30Speaker 2: living life, honestly, So when somebody starts to do something
- 24:33Speaker 2: really sort of off kilter, you're like, wait, what, oh shit,
- 24:36Speaker 2: you guys are like really doing this. And I'm telling you,
- 24:39Speaker 2: when I saw Bibb County in Georgia, when I saw
- 24:42Speaker 2: Fulton County in Georgia, when I saw Pima County in Arizona,
- 24:45Speaker 2: when I saw things that were happening out in Delco
- 24:48Speaker 2: in Pennsylvania, and whole computer shutdown, and I'm like, Okay, no,
- 24:53Speaker 2: nobody thinks it's weird or exact flips of votes, These
- 24:57Speaker 2: words Joe's and now they're Trump's, and they were Trump's
- 25:00Speaker 2: now they're jos Okay, what the hell is going on?
- 25:03Speaker 2: And now we're finally getting to it six years later,
- 25:06Speaker 2: six years too late because it's May and the elections
- 25:09Speaker 2: are in November.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Yeah, six is too late, but if you uh, but again,
- 25:14Speaker 3: that's where the momentum comes, right, And I think, if
- 25:16Speaker 3: this we'll see what the response is or the people
- 25:18Speaker 3: in the Senate to the packs and win, because I
- 25:20Speaker 3: think that shows you like, hey, this is what the
- 25:22Speaker 3: people want. Yeah, so there were are real consequences you
- 25:24Speaker 3: capacity don't well, and we'll find out. But yeah, I
- 25:27Speaker 3: think the Susie Walls, if she's suggesting or signaling something
- 25:32Speaker 3: that could be unfailed, I think that would actually be
- 25:34Speaker 3: a real boost to the effort to I agree.
- 25:36Speaker 2: And I think once they are allowed, I'm assuming they
- 25:38Speaker 2: have a ton of legal behind them. I'm assuming once
- 25:41Speaker 2: they're allowed to say something, it's going to be like floodgates,
- 25:45Speaker 2: you know, just like we're getting the information now on
- 25:47Speaker 2: the raid in Trump and mar A Lago. Now that
- 25:50Speaker 2: we're getting all that information, it's like, hmm, so everything
- 25:53Speaker 2: was a big lie. Cool? All right? So in other news,
- 25:57Speaker 2: we have somebody that is I think probably the biggest
- 26:01Speaker 2: loser of the week. And I love Representative Brandy Fine.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I know you know him well, and he is actually
- 26:07Speaker 2: calling for this Democrat congressional candidate. She's refusing to pledge
- 26:13Speaker 2: the pledge of allegiance. She's in these Sacramento council meetings
- 26:16Speaker 2: and the you know, I guess whoever is drawing the
- 26:19Speaker 2: met is like everybody turned around and see the pledge
- 26:20Speaker 2: of allegiance. What a novel idea. And this bitch literally
- 26:24Speaker 2: faces forward, does not put her hand on her heart,
- 26:26Speaker 2: and puts her head down. I don't even know why
- 26:28Speaker 2: she stood up. I'm like, why are you standing up?
- 26:30Speaker 2: You don't want to pledge. But in any event, for
- 26:32Speaker 2: those of you listening in your car, this is a
- 26:35Speaker 2: congressional candidate vang v A n G. She stands up,
- 26:40Speaker 2: she doesn't pledge, and they all say the pledge. She
- 26:43Speaker 2: stands awkwardly. Anything you'd like to add, sir.
- 26:46Speaker 3: No, But I just think this is like, you know
- 26:47Speaker 3: this plus the next thing I think we'll talk about,
- 26:49Speaker 3: which is a tweet from Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry, I
- 26:51Speaker 3: think they're connected in a significant way and it does
- 26:54Speaker 3: speak to like this this problem that I don't know
- 26:56Speaker 3: the Democrats will ever be able to fix, at least
- 26:58Speaker 3: not with this current crop of candidates and the mentality
- 27:02Speaker 3: of it that seems so pervasive. It's just I thought,
- 27:04Speaker 3: the biggest reason why Kamala Harris lost is when she said,
- 27:09Speaker 3: I love this country.
- 27:10Speaker 4: I'm so proud of this country.
- 27:12Speaker 3: I just don't think it rings as authentically true and
- 27:15Speaker 3: videos like the one we're about to watch are honestly why.
- 27:20Speaker 7: Absolutely, I let.
- 27:26Speaker 5: In the United States of America and she felt like
- 27:29Speaker 5: lucious stance nation.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I forgot the invisible with liberty and justice role. Thank
- 27:38Speaker 2: you very much, And madam yeah, thank you very much.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I'm sorry if I was running that medium. I'm sorry. Vang.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Did you break your arms or do you have a
- 27:46Speaker 2: non bending elbow?
- 27:47Speaker 7: Like?
- 27:47Speaker 2: What is the problem?
- 27:49Speaker 4: Well?
- 27:49Speaker 3: And especially consider this right, I mean, they're in California,
- 27:52Speaker 3: so I'm old enough to remember when the mayor of
- 27:55Speaker 3: a town in California was recently exposed as being like
- 27:58Speaker 3: on the take with Chinese spot eyes. You've got another
- 28:01Speaker 3: former Member of the House in California, ex Suaball obviously
- 28:04Speaker 3: had his own entanglements with some Chinese espionage officials, so
- 28:08Speaker 3: it's not insane to suggest that maybe some elected officials are,
- 28:13Speaker 3: let's get it, at least divided in their allegiance and
- 28:15Speaker 3: not completely loyalty United States. Peter Schweitzer, who I work
- 28:18Speaker 3: with and you are the excellent producer of our podcast,
- 28:21Speaker 3: has exposed how many actual elected officials in Mexico live
- 28:25Speaker 3: in the United States so I mean, we're getting to
- 28:27Speaker 3: a place where pledging the allegiance the American flag is
- 28:29Speaker 3: not just performative or perfunctory, but it's actually significantly necessary
- 28:34Speaker 3: loyalty test. So when someone chooses not to do that,
- 28:37Speaker 3: it's worth paying intention to me, here's.
- 28:38Speaker 2: My thing, and this is something that you know. It's
- 28:41Speaker 2: the age old question. If you hate it so much here,
- 28:44Speaker 2: if it's so bad here, if you feel that your
- 28:48Speaker 2: hand cannot reach to your heart for a country that
- 28:51Speaker 2: you wish to represent in its government, what are you
- 28:54Speaker 2: doing here? There are so many places you could go
- 28:58Speaker 2: that will tell you you're not allowed to do it anything.
- 29:00Speaker 2: You can stand there perfectly still for twelve hours a
- 29:02Speaker 2: day and be suggest you know, subjected to slave labor.
- 29:05Speaker 2: God knows, there's plenty of socialists and communist countries. Why
- 29:09Speaker 2: are you here? What are you doing here? If you
- 29:12Speaker 2: don't like what our pledge stands for? Why are you
- 29:14Speaker 2: running for government? I mean, shit, at least stay in
- 29:16Speaker 2: your house. When are you doing at the meeting? Go home?
- 29:20Speaker 2: Then get out.
- 29:22Speaker 4: It's that country.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Ironically, it's the country whose laws allowed to run for
- 29:26Speaker 3: and hold elected office.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Right, So it's so true. It's like we you know.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I remember this line from the movie American President, where
- 29:34Speaker 2: Michael Douglas delivers that epic line where he says, oh, yeah,
- 29:37Speaker 2: you know, part of our country is loving our flag
- 29:41Speaker 2: and then allowing us to have the freedom to watch
- 29:43Speaker 2: somebody else burn it in front of you. The problem
- 29:46Speaker 2: is burning it is now the normal, and loving it
- 29:48Speaker 2: makes you weird. Loving it means, you know, we haven't
- 29:51Speaker 2: addressed our white privilege, or we can't talk about this
- 29:55Speaker 2: because it's black on white crime and it's racist to
- 29:57Speaker 2: identify people as the race that they are there the crime.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I'm like, we were recently watching a show. I don't
- 30:02Speaker 2: know if you've seen this. It's the guy who did
- 30:04Speaker 2: Yellowstones called the Madison. Have you heard of it. It's
- 30:07Speaker 2: Kurt Roer.
- 30:09Speaker 3: I'm pretty much spend most of my time reading scripture
- 30:12Speaker 3: and worldly television you speak of is interesting to me,
- 30:17Speaker 3: but also inaccessible and a threat to my own spiritual sovereignty.
- 30:21Speaker 2: So well, hands up, bit, because it's about to get
- 30:23Speaker 2: real threatening. Michelle Pfeifer's in this is in this episode
- 30:28Speaker 2: and her daughter gets accosted and she's unable to identify
- 30:33Speaker 2: the purp because she doesn't want to say that he's
- 30:35Speaker 2: black because she thinks it's racist, and the cop is black,
- 30:37Speaker 2: and he's like, okay, I don't I don't understand.
- 30:39Speaker 4: What does he look like me?
- 30:41Speaker 2: Or does he look like my partner who's white? And
- 30:44Speaker 2: I'm a dude. I laughed so hard because I was like,
- 30:46Speaker 2: that's that's real, that's what it is. I don't see
- 30:50Speaker 2: color except for when I have to see color, and
- 30:52Speaker 2: then it's awkward because you're just shut up. You know
- 30:55Speaker 2: who racist people are. I'll show you who the racist
- 30:57Speaker 2: people are. In Newark, New Jersey. Right now, we have
- 31:00Speaker 2: people protesting ICE. So two guys walk out in front
- 31:04Speaker 2: of the protest protesters. They happen to be brown, and
- 31:07Speaker 2: so the protesters think that they've released two illegal aliens
- 31:10Speaker 2: and they're cheering. Well, the ICE agents behind the fence
- 31:13Speaker 2: are like, you freaking morons. They work here, you're idiots.
- 31:17Speaker 2: I mean, it's classic. Do you have anything you want
- 31:19Speaker 2: to add to that? Have you've seen this? No?
- 31:20Speaker 4: This is good. This is like I have the.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Classic as. So this guy's behind the offend and he goes,
- 31:51Speaker 2: you guys are so racist. You think because they're brown,
- 31:55Speaker 2: they can't work here, and they just I'm like, dude,
- 31:58Speaker 2: this is so epic that whole moment there, and and
- 32:02Speaker 2: so the officers behind the gate are black. It looks
- 32:05Speaker 2: like either a black or Latino, a woman, a white guy,
- 32:08Speaker 2: you know, and they're just like, you guys are so dumb,
- 32:11Speaker 2: so dumb.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Yeah, there was a this reminds me of and you know,
- 32:15Speaker 3: I like Rick Scott a lot.
- 32:16Speaker 4: I think he's done a good job.
- 32:17Speaker 3: But when he was governor, he always you know, made
- 32:20Speaker 3: an effort to try to reach out and try to
- 32:21Speaker 3: appeal to people. So they get a protest at his
- 32:23Speaker 3: mansion and it was a group called Dream Defenders, So
- 32:26Speaker 3: like this like kind of young you know, a lot
- 32:28Speaker 3: of younger African Americans showed up and they're kind of protesting,
- 32:31Speaker 3: like I think it was like a social justice thing.
- 32:33Speaker 3: And so he comes out and he's trying to like
- 32:34Speaker 3: connect them together. Listen, guys, I'm a lot like you.
- 32:37Speaker 3: You know, I grew up in government housing. I kind
- 32:38Speaker 3: of did all this stuff. And then someone from the
- 32:40Speaker 3: back goes, not all of us are poor, and it's
- 32:49Speaker 3: just true, like but it's the same thing as you know,
- 32:51Speaker 3: they'd be like that not every Hispanic is actually a
- 32:54Speaker 3: detaining in this ice facility.
- 32:57Speaker 2: And it's also the flip side, right, like not every
- 32:59Speaker 2: word person and you see was born with the silver spoon,
- 33:02Speaker 2: some of us before too, you know, And that's that's
- 33:05Speaker 2: the whole thing, right. The messaging from the left is
- 33:09Speaker 2: so loud, Like I was shocked the other day to
- 33:12Speaker 2: see Hassan Piker actually admit that he was getting his
- 33:16Speaker 2: funding from Nevill Singham, who you know, ultimo all about.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Because you and your group have done amazing research, I
- 33:23Speaker 2: strongly recommend everybody go to the Drill Down and Gai
- 33:26Speaker 2: dot org to see it. They crushed this information on
- 33:29Speaker 2: his whole group, but nobody even blinked. I'm like, I'm sorry,
- 33:33Speaker 2: you guys know, this is a communist piece of shit
- 33:37Speaker 2: that is sending money into the United States and he
- 33:39Speaker 2: lives in China.
- 33:40Speaker 3: He's not here sending money into the United States with
- 33:44Speaker 3: the stated goal of trying to cause division and like
- 33:46Speaker 3: basically wage this kind of like unrelenting warfare against our
- 33:51Speaker 3: nation's kind of like mental and emotional well being. You know,
- 33:55Speaker 3: we just in the latest episode of The Drill Down,
- 33:57Speaker 3: you know, Peter Schweitzer made the point of we played
- 34:00Speaker 3: a clip from a medal of honor winner who defended
- 34:02Speaker 3: this country in the battlefeld in Afghanistan, and he goes,
- 34:05Speaker 3: but we face threats from abroad, not just on the battlefield,
- 34:07Speaker 3: but like everywhere on the phones and the computer with
- 34:10Speaker 3: through TikTok, through nevill Seeingham, through these finance groups that
- 34:13Speaker 3: we've documented them, you know, our reports called riotingc So
- 34:16Speaker 3: we know it's a real thing. And so that's a
- 34:18Speaker 3: that's a bigger deal about the sandpiker.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Roy stinghams, Yeah, we definitely do another show on that
- 34:23Speaker 2: for sure. So last clip of today, so we talked
- 34:26Speaker 2: about this scumbag DEM candidate vang and how she's unable
- 34:30Speaker 2: to bring her elbow to bring her hand to her heart,
- 34:33Speaker 2: you know, for the country she so desperately wants to represent.
- 34:36Speaker 2: And Joey Jones took to X over Memorial Day. So
- 34:40Speaker 2: Joey Jones is a doubmptee from I think it's from
- 34:43Speaker 2: his knees down. I think one leg might be higher.
- 34:45Speaker 2: But he's a great guy. I've known Joey a long
- 34:48Speaker 2: time and I just think the world of him. And
- 34:50Speaker 2: he's a good dad, good broadcaster, you know, served our
- 34:53Speaker 2: country honorably and so he sees scumbag Jacob Pry put
- 34:58Speaker 2: this post out that he's going to remember George Floyd
- 35:02Speaker 2: on Memorial Day. I'm sorry.
- 35:06Speaker 3: I saw it and I was shocked, and I like
- 35:08Speaker 3: went to double check he Jacob Fried did later post
- 35:11Speaker 3: about Memorial Day, but the fact that he posted about
- 35:13Speaker 3: George Floyd first is insane. And again it speaks to
- 35:17Speaker 3: they had that I'm sorry, like you hate to say
- 35:19Speaker 3: it and speaking like blanket stereotypes, but Democrats have a
- 35:21Speaker 3: patriotism prospective and you know, and just from a like
- 35:25Speaker 3: why are we divide in this country? Like there there
- 35:27Speaker 3: should be nothing that we take more collective pride in
- 35:31Speaker 3: and like in a unifying way from the people who
- 35:33Speaker 3: have sacrificed on behalf of this country, right they gave
- 35:36Speaker 3: their today's for tomorrow. Yes, we are the you know,
- 35:40Speaker 3: the land of the Free because of the brave, and
- 35:44Speaker 3: there is no greater thing we should all be able
- 35:46Speaker 3: to take pride in than that. And so for you
- 35:48Speaker 3: to then kind of elevate a divisive figure like George
- 35:50Speaker 3: Floyd on the day that's meant to be set aside
- 35:52Speaker 3: to remember the fallen I think is is you know,
- 35:57Speaker 3: is a choice, and I think it's a choice that
- 35:59Speaker 3: actually will can to you that will like color the
- 36:01Speaker 3: way I think most people see Democrats in the way
- 36:03Speaker 3: they think about this country moving forward in a way
- 36:05Speaker 3: that won't be helpful with them.
- 36:06Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 36:06Speaker 2: And I also think what's very sad is the same
- 36:09Speaker 2: people that are screaming that they hate veterans, they hate war.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Nobody likes war. Nobody's out there going yay war. Everybody's
- 36:17Speaker 2: like shit, this sucks. But I feel so blessed that
- 36:21Speaker 2: I have a one hundred percent volunteer based military. You know,
- 36:26Speaker 2: many other countries it's required service, mandatory service. This country
- 36:31Speaker 2: is a one hundred percent volunteer service. So you only
- 36:35Speaker 2: have to protect your nation if you love it enough
- 36:37Speaker 2: to put your life on the line. And there are
- 36:39Speaker 2: a very small portion of very small brave view that
- 36:42Speaker 2: do that. So the audacity to take Memorial Day, of
- 36:47Speaker 2: all days, if you want to be an asshole and
- 36:49Speaker 2: say that any other day, all right, go be an
- 36:50Speaker 2: asshole and say it. But Memorial Day, really, bro, this
- 36:55Speaker 2: is the moment.
- 36:57Speaker 3: And oh, by the way, is anyone sit around refreshed
- 37:00Speaker 3: in like hope some says about George Floyd today. I'm
- 37:03Speaker 3: sure it was the anniversary of his death. But you know,
- 37:05Speaker 3: I think we would have been.
- 37:06Speaker 6: I don't know. I don't know.
- 37:07Speaker 3: There's a huge constituency for that. But yeah, here's Jacob Fry.
- 37:09Speaker 4: I agree.
- 37:11Speaker 2: I don't. I really just don't understand. This is an image.
- 37:14Speaker 2: So for those of you who are listening and not watching,
- 37:17Speaker 2: we basically have mayor. Jacob Fried says, today we remember
- 37:21Speaker 2: George Floyd, who was murdered by a former Minneapolis police
- 37:24Speaker 2: officer six years ago. That moment changed our city forever.
- 37:29Speaker 2: And Joey Jones then says, do you want to read
- 37:30Speaker 2: this part?
- 37:31Speaker 4: Eric h He says, you, sir can blank right off today.
- 37:36Speaker 2: He couldn't do it. He's such a good boy. So
- 37:40Speaker 2: he says, you, sir can fuck right off. Today is
- 37:43Speaker 2: for heroes, and you know what that he is so
- 37:46Speaker 2: spot on with that, Not to mention the fact, in
- 37:48Speaker 2: the past week we have gotten a resurgence of the
- 37:52Speaker 2: full autopsy report of George Floyd. So I'm not going
- 37:57Speaker 2: to go down the rabbit hole of George Floyd or
- 37:58Speaker 2: tell you all the things I think about George Floyd,
- 38:00Speaker 2: but I would invite you to do your own research
- 38:03Speaker 2: and take a strong, close look perhaps you know, take
- 38:06Speaker 2: a few minutes. Read the whole thing, get to the
- 38:08Speaker 2: second page again, don't be a headline hero. Read the
- 38:12Speaker 2: whole thing. And also remember that George Floyd while he
- 38:16Speaker 2: died during an interaction with a police officer because he
- 38:20Speaker 2: was in the middle of robbing a store while high
- 38:23Speaker 2: on fetanyl and methamphetamine, caffeine and several other things that
- 38:27Speaker 2: were in his system, which if any of you have
- 38:29Speaker 2: ever seen people on these drugs, they have extreme strength.
- 38:33Speaker 2: But we'll just leave that there for a moment. Putting
- 38:35Speaker 2: all of that to the side. This is a man
- 38:37Speaker 2: who held a pregnant woman with a knife to her
- 38:40Speaker 2: belly and he robbed her in the middle of a burglary.
- 38:43Speaker 2: This is a person with a very long rap sheet
- 38:46Speaker 2: to honor him on Memorial Day. Is truly an atrocity
- 38:52Speaker 2: of just the utmost proportions.
- 38:56Speaker 3: You know what, That's actually an excellent point because it's
- 38:58Speaker 3: one thing too at the moment, and say, listen, I
- 39:00Speaker 3: believe that the death of George Floyd is regrettable in
- 39:04Speaker 3: a tragedy and something that you can like rightfully ask
- 39:07Speaker 3: questions about and you know, want to hold people responsible accountable.
- 39:11Speaker 3: That's like a totally separate thing to then elevate and
- 39:14Speaker 3: memorialize him right literally over the people who have died
- 39:18Speaker 3: for this country. Because in terms of order of operations,
- 39:21Speaker 3: in terms of your social media stuff, No, it's ridiculous
- 39:23Speaker 3: and it actually reminds me very much to kind of
- 39:25Speaker 3: come full circle of the John Cornyn like insha Lah
- 39:29Speaker 3: and Ramadan posts like no one's waiting on you to
- 39:32Speaker 3: say anything about this, Yeah, like everyone else would be
- 39:35Speaker 3: just fine. It's performative, it's insincere and ultimate. That's why
- 39:39Speaker 3: it comes off as disrespectful.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Yes, and Cornin to that point, he was all ready
- 39:42Speaker 2: to talk about in shaw Lah, but had nothing to
- 39:44Speaker 2: say about the nine year old child brides walking around
- 39:46Speaker 2: the state of Texas. Super quiet about that, just wondering,
- 39:50Speaker 2: you know, keeping it proportionate, just yea, asking questions. Why not?
- 39:53Speaker 2: It's my right right Anyways, you guys, thank you for
- 39:55Speaker 2: joining us. This is episode seven of sound Bites. Eric
- 39:59Speaker 2: is laughing at me as per usual.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Well, I'm just laughing because we started with center Mass
- 40:04Speaker 3: and we ended with child brides like Lenda mcglock and everybody.
