A powerful new public sculpture titled Maamaawi Naanaagadawendamowin—meaning “Gather Your Heart”—has debuted outside the Burton Cummings Theatre, blending music, culture, and emotion. Shaped like a film reel that transforms into a mallet-holding figure adorned with musical clefs, it honors local music legend Kevin Walters and weaves in the Seven Grandfather Teachings.
