- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost Famous podcast with iHeartRadio. Welcome back
- 0:05Speaker 1: to the almost Famous OG podcast. I am your host,
- 0:08Speaker 1: Bob Geinny here and.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Tonight, I am so excited. We're doing a Bachelor in
- 0:12Speaker 2: Paradise recap. We have one of my favorite people on
- 0:15Speaker 2: the show with me who's gonna be talking through this.
- 0:18Speaker 2: And she lived at my friends a Golden in Paradise.
- 0:21Speaker 2: It's been amazing, our dear friend Kathy Sports.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Hi Kathy, Hey, Bob, how are you tonight?
- 0:27Speaker 1: I am so good man.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I'll tell you what I loved watching you in this episode,
- 0:31Speaker 2: you and my boy Gonzo, and I really enjoyed watching
- 0:35Speaker 2: you guys, and it was interesting to me. And I'm
- 0:38Speaker 2: so excited to get your take on this because I
- 0:41Speaker 2: was watching you guys as you know, I love you
- 0:43Speaker 2: because you're my friends, right, but also I'm watching you
- 0:46Speaker 2: guys as kind of like the voice of reason at times,
- 0:49Speaker 2: and then honestly sitting in silence, like almost in shock
- 0:54Speaker 2: and awe of what you were viewing going on. I mean,
- 0:57Speaker 2: this was kind of a major turning point for Paradise.
- 1:00Speaker 2: It went from all fun and games and kind of
- 1:02Speaker 2: happy go lucky puppy dogs and ice cream. And then
- 1:05Speaker 2: this episode we started seeing some strategicy. We started seeing
- 1:10Speaker 2: some people kind of burying themselves, which wasn't great.
- 1:13Speaker 3: For a few people would take a good old fashioned
- 1:15Speaker 3: politic and yeah, the.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Parliament, Paradise, Parliament, whatever it was. But how was it
- 1:20Speaker 1: for you?
- 1:21Speaker 2: I mean, you're living it obviously, so you to watch
- 1:23Speaker 2: it back. What was the difference between what you were
- 1:26Speaker 2: feeling in that moment and what you're feeling watching it
- 1:28Speaker 2: back today.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Well, honestly, it feels very much the same. I was
- 1:33Speaker 4: a deer in the headlight watching all this politicking going on,
- 1:38Speaker 4: and people would come in and say, who do you
- 1:40Speaker 4: want to go home? What do you think? And I
- 1:44Speaker 4: just kept thinking, We've got two strands here. We have
- 1:48Speaker 4: love and we have money, and we mixed the two,
- 1:51Speaker 4: it gets really interesting. So for me, I didn't really
- 1:55Speaker 4: want to be part of the politicking. I just some
- 2:00Speaker 4: of those young girls are really good friends. So Keith
- 2:03Speaker 4: and I were really trying to stay out of the fray.
- 2:06Speaker 4: But it certainly did feel different because now people are
- 2:12Speaker 4: just fessing up, I'm no relationship, I'm here.
- 2:15Speaker 3: For the money. And I said I have to clear
- 2:17Speaker 3: my name here.
- 2:18Speaker 4: I had said in a previous episode that was televised
- 2:22Speaker 4: a couple of episodes ago, that I would never take
- 2:27Speaker 4: money from the kids, that I would self eliminate if.
- 2:30Speaker 3: It came to that. But I was having so much fun.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Doing the challenges and getting so for me, it was
- 2:36Speaker 4: just this is so fun and interesting to watch.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Sure, I can only imagine, and you know what, when
- 2:44Speaker 2: it's fifty thousand dollars, you know, maybe not.
- 2:48Speaker 1: But when it's five hundred thousand dollars, I'm sorry.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I'm taking money from everybody, right, I mean, at that
- 2:52Speaker 2: point it's interesting. If it came down to it me
- 2:54Speaker 2: or somebody else, I want the money too.
- 2:56Speaker 4: I have to be honest, you know, call me, call
- 2:59Speaker 4: me Teresa. I am I have. I have a lot
- 3:04Speaker 4: of life left to live. But I'm not like these
- 3:05Speaker 4: young kids getting life started. And so I really honestly
- 3:11Speaker 4: say it tonight and said it during Paradise. I was
- 3:13Speaker 4: not taking money from kids just and Keith. Keith is
- 3:17Speaker 4: a great guy, and he and I both agreed on that.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Yeah, well you could tell you guys, I think you know.
- 3:23Speaker 2: One of the things that I saw in tonight's episode,
- 3:24Speaker 2: again largely probably because it's you know, because I love
- 3:28Speaker 2: you guys, but watching the show and I was, I
- 3:30Speaker 2: felt like you were just sort of letting people air
- 3:32Speaker 2: their stuff out. You guys weren't even really commenting on everything.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I know some of that's probably editing as well, but
- 3:37Speaker 2: you guys were, you know, we're sort of listening and
- 3:39Speaker 2: kind of letting everybody say their pieces, and they're pulling
- 3:42Speaker 2: you aside. You're like, okay, and you'll take the walk
- 3:45Speaker 2: with them, and that had to be kind of interesting.
- 3:47Speaker 1: It was.
- 3:47Speaker 3: It was interesting.
- 3:48Speaker 4: And watching it back tonight, Oh really, Brian, let's and Parsa,
- 3:52Speaker 4: let's get rid of Kathy and Keith?
- 3:54Speaker 1: Really?
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, so that those things are always interesting. But
- 4:00Speaker 4: I knew here's the thing. There's there were two brains
- 4:04Speaker 4: going on during that episode. One was who's in love
- 4:09Speaker 4: and who's a strong couple and who's good strong a
- 4:11Speaker 4: couple regardless, and then like Jonathan full of you know,
- 4:16Speaker 4: fest up, I'm here for the money and I don't
- 4:18Speaker 4: want to go home, and I were.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Just there having fun because we love the young ones.
- 4:22Speaker 2: So you know, yeah, no, I loved it. I loved
- 4:25Speaker 2: watching you guys kind of open the episode too. First
- 4:27Speaker 2: of all, I loved, you know, the one thing about Paradise.
- 4:30Speaker 2: With this many seasons under its belt, it definitely did
- 4:32Speaker 2: a revamp, but it went back to kind of the
- 4:35Speaker 2: old intros, which were kind of like the cheesy threes
- 4:37Speaker 2: company style thing, which I love, you know, I always
- 4:41Speaker 2: found that kind of kitchen and fun for the show.
- 4:44Speaker 2: But it opens, we see people eating breakfast, we see
- 4:46Speaker 2: people working out of course, which are two standards, and
- 4:49Speaker 2: then we see you guys, basically you and Keith going
- 4:52Speaker 2: through and you're kind of, you know, talking through everybody
- 4:56Speaker 2: and giving your feelings.
- 4:58Speaker 1: You know, Jonathan Lea not a couple just like Gus.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You know, what do we think of that? You know?
- 5:03Speaker 2: How is this thing going to be all about people
- 5:05Speaker 2: who are in love? It became interesting to hear Brian
- 5:08Speaker 2: basically kind of realizing that his head was on a
- 5:11Speaker 2: chopping block and he might well go home tonight. And
- 5:14Speaker 2: then Hannah comes out, she greets everybody, she's on the
- 5:17Speaker 2: walkie talkie and she's basically saying, Okay, this is it
- 5:20Speaker 2: the next relationship task. Treasure hunk, right, and basically one's
- 5:25Speaker 2: gonna hunt for the treasure, which is the partner in
- 5:27Speaker 2: a giant treasure chest. And then the other person has
- 5:31Speaker 2: to basically listen to the walkie talkie commands and find
- 5:36Speaker 2: specific things that will help unlock this chest.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Now, how is that for you?
- 5:39Speaker 2: Because you made a really funny comment, by the way,
- 5:41Speaker 2: You're like, next time I'm in a treasure chest, if
- 5:43Speaker 2: I got some cocktails, I'll do this, but I'm not
- 5:44Speaker 2: doing this otherwise.
- 5:46Speaker 3: It was really easy.
- 5:47Speaker 4: A lot of the couples were saying, you know, are
- 5:49Speaker 4: you better giving directions? Keith just looked at me and said,
- 5:54Speaker 4: there is no way. I'm claustrophobic. I said, not that
- 5:58Speaker 4: I loved it, but you know, going in the trunk.
- 6:01Speaker 4: But that literally is how we made the decision to go.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I would Canyon and I would have had an
- 6:06Speaker 2: easy choice.
- 6:06Speaker 1: She's super claustophobic, so it had been I'd been in
- 6:09Speaker 1: the box.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and remember I had a nice bottle of alcohol
- 6:12Speaker 3: thrown at me.
- 6:13Speaker 1: See there, there you go.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I was taken care of.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Amen. Nice work. That's what you can do when you're
- 6:18Speaker 1: a golden in Paradise. You can make some demands.
- 6:21Speaker 3: That's right.
- 6:24Speaker 2: But it seemed like the anti was really kind of
- 6:27Speaker 2: raised in a couple of ways. Obviously, one with this
- 6:30Speaker 2: more challenging task, right, and then two they basically say, like, listen,
- 6:34Speaker 2: two women are going home tonight, right, which means two
- 6:36Speaker 2: couples are going home. And it's almost like a line
- 6:39Speaker 2: is drawn in the sand, because if you heard it once,
- 6:41Speaker 2: you heard it one hundred times in the episode. You know, well,
- 6:43Speaker 2: do we let's keep the real couples here, right, Let's
- 6:46Speaker 2: send home the platonic couples now that we don't love them,
- 6:49Speaker 2: they're great, but you know, that's what this show is
- 6:51Speaker 2: all about. And it is interesting because you're right, it
- 6:53Speaker 2: kind of hearkens back to like for Love or Money
- 6:56Speaker 2: and some other reality shows like that, where it was
- 6:58Speaker 2: kind of like, you know, even Joe Millionaire right where
- 7:00Speaker 2: it was like, hey, you come down to the end,
- 7:02Speaker 2: you get a big chunk of dough, you know, and
- 7:04Speaker 2: if you also find love good onya right, So it
- 7:08Speaker 2: was interesting and you said it. You were like, you
- 7:11Speaker 2: know what, I get it. I want to see the
- 7:13Speaker 2: strong couples survive. And Keith was like, I think the
- 7:15Speaker 2: strong couples, but you.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Kind of called it.
- 7:17Speaker 2: You were like, well, however, what is the right way
- 7:20Speaker 2: to play this game at this point? You know, like
- 7:22Speaker 2: you were kind of seeing the forest of the trees,
- 7:24Speaker 2: which I love your insight.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 7:26Speaker 4: I just felt like the honesty started to prevail, you know,
- 7:31Speaker 4: people saying what do we have to do to get
- 7:33Speaker 4: the money? And not everybody, by the way, was saying
- 7:37Speaker 4: let's keep the strong couples. Some people were saying let's
- 7:39Speaker 4: get rid of the strong couples because their competition and
- 7:43Speaker 4: what there was. I like their competition because they're in luck,
- 7:48Speaker 4: or the competition because they're going to win the challenges,
- 7:50Speaker 4: which is it?
- 7:51Speaker 3: You know?
- 7:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, And I thought that was interesting.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I mean Sean right away, you know, I think I
- 7:57Speaker 2: think he thought he was pretty savvy first, and then
- 8:00Speaker 2: when he kind of got the realization that he had
- 8:03Speaker 2: been outed, it was it was bad news for him,
- 8:05Speaker 2: but he was he was basically trying to play the
- 8:07Speaker 2: old Survivor game right with with some people who didn't
- 8:11Speaker 2: have any interest in playing it, and so when he
- 8:13Speaker 2: was talking to them, he thought he was kind of
- 8:15Speaker 2: talking to people that were agreeing with him. He just
- 8:17Speaker 2: was not reading the room at all, right, absolutely.
- 8:20Speaker 4: And I will tell you I truly Keith and I
- 8:24Speaker 4: thought we were going home. I had on my white
- 8:27Speaker 4: long satin dress and I was going to get engaged
- 8:29Speaker 4: in not and so well, I'm going home tonight. So
- 8:35Speaker 4: when they called my name, I was shocked. Yeah, I
- 8:39Speaker 4: really thought we were out. But I will say, someone's
- 8:42Speaker 4: like us, and they didn't see us as I say,
- 8:45Speaker 4: they knew Keith and I are good friends. We never put,
- 8:48Speaker 4: you know, pretended to be anything else, and we still don't.
- 8:52Speaker 4: We're still good friends. However, However, some people saw that
- 8:57Speaker 4: as a good thing, that we weren't a strong couple,
- 9:01Speaker 4: And in my head, I'm thinking, it doesn't matter if
- 9:03Speaker 4: you're a strong couple.
- 9:04Speaker 3: What matters is are you good at the games?
- 9:07Speaker 1: Right? Yeah?
- 9:09Speaker 2: And are you good at seeing through what's going on?
- 9:13Speaker 2: I mean, you know, like like you guys obviously were
- 9:15Speaker 2: you know, you read right through the whole Sean thing.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I felt bad for Alicia, uh, you know, in that
- 9:20Speaker 2: moment when she was kind of like realizing that, you know.
- 9:23Speaker 1: But but she was kind of on board at first.
- 9:26Speaker 2: You know, and so she kind of took when we
- 9:28Speaker 2: followed out tonight watching the episode, right, but but it
- 9:30Speaker 2: was like she obviously wasn't on board for that much
- 9:33Speaker 2: of the hardcore politicking.
- 9:34Speaker 1: You could tell that, and.
- 9:35Speaker 4: That is exactly what she was on board with the
- 9:37Speaker 4: strategy to win, but Sean took it to a whole
- 9:40Speaker 4: another level.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Just yeah, and he kind of got he's the reason, right,
- 9:45Speaker 2: I mean, and then and then it's kind of interesting,
- 9:47Speaker 2: like we're going to go out with integrity, and it's like,
- 9:49Speaker 2: you know, I've I've often thought this when people do
- 9:51Speaker 2: this on The Bachelor and the Bachelrette, they know they're
- 9:53Speaker 2: not getting a rose, right, They'll be like, hold on,
- 9:56Speaker 2: you know, Chris, hold on, uh, you know, Jesse, I'm
- 9:59Speaker 2: out of here.
- 9:59Speaker 1: You know, it's oh, okay, you already know you're going home.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Brow you know. So it's like, is it really that
- 10:04Speaker 1: much of a move of integrity? You know? I don't
- 10:08Speaker 1: think so.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Well, I think honestly, I don't know.
- 10:11Speaker 4: I was just there, I mean, if being funny, I mean,
- 10:15Speaker 4: I honestly think Alicia. I don't think Sean thought they
- 10:20Speaker 4: were going home. I think Alicia knew they were, and
- 10:23Speaker 4: I think she really wanted to go out with integrity.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Sean I think was surprised.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he didn't seem like, he didn't seem like it,
- 10:31Speaker 2: you know, But let's go back with it. So Jessin
- 10:33Speaker 2: Spencer win the challenge, right, and They're a really cute couple, man.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I mean, I think they're really coming along.
- 10:40Speaker 4: They I'm telling you, from the minute I stepped onto Paradise,
- 10:44Speaker 4: those two what you're seeing as who they are. They
- 10:48Speaker 4: are just in love with each other. They're cute, They're
- 10:51Speaker 4: just adorable. I mean I would sit in her room
- 10:53Speaker 4: and she would just go on and on about, you know,
- 10:56Speaker 4: how adorable he is and how much she's grown to
- 10:58Speaker 4: like him.
- 10:59Speaker 3: It's just I love I love seeing young people fall
- 11:02Speaker 3: in love.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it is pretty sweet to watch at home too.
- 11:06Speaker 2: So during that game, while you guys are playing it,
- 11:08Speaker 2: obviously you've got the walkie talkie, you and Keith, who
- 11:10Speaker 2: our great friends, are clearly having some trouble communicating. Uh,
- 11:15Speaker 2: You're like, hold the button down longer. He's like, I
- 11:16Speaker 2: can't hold it any longer. It's I can't hold any harder.
- 11:19Speaker 3: For God's sake to be there.
- 11:20Speaker 4: There were some issues with the walkie talkies. So yeah,
- 11:24Speaker 4: it wasn't it Keith and Kathy issue. The other people
- 11:27Speaker 4: were having trouble. Some of them worked better than others.
- 11:31Speaker 4: But I had said to Keith, I'm going to speak
- 11:34Speaker 4: very slowly because I've had kids and walkie talkies on
- 11:38Speaker 4: a ski mountain and against garbled very quickly. So for me,
- 11:44Speaker 4: who taught, I'm from Boston, I speak really, I had
- 11:47Speaker 4: to think about annunciation and I did, and God loved Keith.
- 11:52Speaker 3: I knew we were screwed.
- 11:53Speaker 4: When if you if you saw the episode where I
- 11:57Speaker 4: like the numbers that he's supposed to get.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, like I.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Transposed him or something. I don't remember what he said,
- 12:03Speaker 4: and he was I made EHD. I was like, oh
- 12:05Speaker 4: my god, that's what I said. Don't send a man
- 12:08Speaker 4: to do a woman's job.
- 12:09Speaker 1: That was so good.
- 12:10Speaker 2: And I remember one of the like one of the
- 12:12Speaker 2: signs said one, the other one said one, So it's like,
- 12:15Speaker 2: how can you mix up those first two? Right?
- 12:16Speaker 1: It's one one?
- 12:17Speaker 2: But yeah, no, it was. It was funny to watch.
- 12:20Speaker 2: And you guys have such a great bantern. I love
- 12:22Speaker 2: your friendship. I always have.
- 12:23Speaker 4: And he is a very very very kind man. I
- 12:27Speaker 4: you know, to say that he's a girl dad. He
- 12:31Speaker 4: is just a really kind man and very empathetic.
- 12:35Speaker 3: He really he is.
- 12:36Speaker 1: He is.
- 12:36Speaker 2: He's a he's a fun dude to party with, but
- 12:38Speaker 2: then he can also get really sensitive and yeah, he's
- 12:42Speaker 2: he's a sweetheart of a guy.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I really love him.
- 12:44Speaker 2: So then round four comes up, right, we get through
- 12:46Speaker 2: the first couple of rounds. We got Bailey and Jeremy
- 12:49Speaker 2: versus Spencer and Jess. Yeah, neck and neck between these
- 12:53Speaker 2: two teams. Spencer and Jess get done first, they complete
- 12:56Speaker 2: the challenge. Bailey and Jeremy finished the challenge as well.
- 12:59Speaker 2: There's behind them, so it's kind of like they both
- 13:02Speaker 2: actually finished a challenge, right, which is pretty good. Says
- 13:05Speaker 2: a lot about them and their relationships.
- 13:06Speaker 3: We got one key, Yeah, I'm going to go with
- 13:08Speaker 3: that's really good.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, exactly. And then back of things at that night,
- 13:12Speaker 2: So Jesse points out that the challenge was all about communication, right,
- 13:16Speaker 2: and obviously that's an important part of relationships. And I
- 13:19Speaker 2: didn't let I didn't let Canyon watch that part because
- 13:21Speaker 2: I didn't want her to, you know, to.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Come at me for anything. I'm just kidding. But yeah,
- 13:25Speaker 1: the winners were Spencer and Jess.
- 13:27Speaker 2: They went a date and it's basically their first first date.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Yeah right, yes, And what I liked.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Was she makes the statement that I, I, you know,
- 13:36Speaker 2: at the end, and I'm spoiling everybody's, you know, opportunity
- 13:39Speaker 2: to watch the show. But at the end when she says,
- 13:40Speaker 2: you know, I hope this is both of our last
- 13:42Speaker 2: first dates we ever have.
- 13:44Speaker 1: That's pretty That was pretty strong man. That was nice.
- 13:48Speaker 3: You know.
- 13:48Speaker 4: I think when remember I've been around a few decades,
- 13:52Speaker 4: when you beat a couple that you just look at
- 13:56Speaker 4: them and you look at their eyes. And from the
- 13:59Speaker 4: get go, from the minute I got there, they didn't
- 14:01Speaker 4: have to say anything. They really just just.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Have this spark.
- 14:09Speaker 4: And when the girls, when we would be sitting in
- 14:12Speaker 4: the bedroom, Shoe was just so cute about talking about them.
- 14:14Speaker 4: And you know, I don't you heard it at the
- 14:17Speaker 4: end of the night, I don't know whether I can
- 14:19Speaker 4: move in with him yet. And in my head, I
- 14:21Speaker 4: didn't say it out loud. I'm thinking, yeah, money, you'll
- 14:24Speaker 4: be moving.
- 14:24Speaker 3: It's going to happen.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Well, you know it's funny.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, we'll get to that because I want
- 14:29Speaker 2: to talk about a couple of things at the end
- 14:30Speaker 2: of the episode that I thought were interesting. But you
- 14:33Speaker 2: know Leah, and Leah thinks that she and Jonathan are
- 14:35Speaker 2: on the chopping block, which, to be honest, they kind
- 14:37Speaker 2: of were right. I mean, especially if you were listening
- 14:39Speaker 2: to what Sean was saying to everybody, you know, you
- 14:42Speaker 2: talk to jus and you were pretty upfront, you like,
- 14:45Speaker 2: I really want to stay. You know, I really am
- 14:47Speaker 2: having a great time. I want to stick around.
- 14:50Speaker 1: You know, a lot of people were being a little
- 14:51Speaker 1: more kind of hidden about their motivations, but you were
- 14:55Speaker 1: just you were just putting it out there and I
- 14:57Speaker 1: and I thought that was actually pretty great because you
- 15:00Speaker 1: were leading by example. Right in my opinion, knowing you
- 15:03Speaker 1: as I do, I felt like you were kind of
- 15:05Speaker 1: like saying, you know, hey, I want to stay, So
- 15:06Speaker 1: I'm just going to tell everyone I'd like to stay.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I mean, is that is that what you were thinking
- 15:09Speaker 1: going into that?
- 15:10Speaker 4: I you know, I don't know whether the world will
- 15:13Speaker 4: believe it or not, but honestly, I was having so
- 15:16Speaker 4: much fun. I did want to stay. But I wanted
- 15:19Speaker 4: to stay to see the love connections and the couples
- 15:23Speaker 4: growing in the relationship. And I mean, who wouldn't want
- 15:26Speaker 4: to stay at a beach in Costa Rica, right? I mean,
- 15:29Speaker 4: I just I loved watching love and everything else developed
- 15:36Speaker 4: on that show. I loved it. I loved I personally
- 15:39Speaker 4: loved the challenges. I want the next challenge was I
- 15:43Speaker 4: loved the Keith. I mean it was like and if
- 15:46Speaker 4: you're if you're if you're really being honest. The couples
- 15:51Speaker 4: wanted to stay, who were in love, The couples wanted
- 15:54Speaker 4: to stay who wanted money? And there was also an intersection.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Some who were in love wanted money, some just wanted love,
- 16:01Speaker 4: some just wanted money.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and some were just having so much damn fun
- 16:05Speaker 2: they just didn't want to go home, and that would
- 16:07Speaker 2: be Yeah.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I was gonna say, yeah, how is the.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Food, by the way, I mean you know, I was wondering,
- 16:13Speaker 2: like it was the food pretty goose. I've been to
- 16:15Speaker 2: Costa Rica now twice and both times I just loved
- 16:18Speaker 2: the food.
- 16:18Speaker 4: Well, so I've been three times different parts, and I
- 16:24Speaker 4: was really worried that I was going to be eating
- 16:26Speaker 4: plotinus beans and rites every night. Yeah, every nut. And
- 16:30Speaker 4: I have to say the food was great. The resort
- 16:33Speaker 4: was fabulous.
- 16:34Speaker 3: It was great. I mean I loved it.
- 16:36Speaker 4: I have nothing to compare it to, but thank you
- 16:39Speaker 4: for air conditioning and no bugs.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Yeah that was the new thing, right, I mean that
- 16:43Speaker 1: was the new thing.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Although it looks like and you know, coming episodes we
- 16:47Speaker 2: might be seeing some bugs.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Well there are some. I'm not going to spoke for anyone,
- 16:52Speaker 4: but I found out that you know, bugs, bats. You
- 16:56Speaker 4: saw the episode where I went nuts.
- 16:58Speaker 3: But I'm scared out the bats, but I hate him too.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I'm bigger than they are. Bats.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, bats scared the hell out of me. And
- 17:07Speaker 2: you can't squish them like you try, and they have
- 17:10Speaker 2: like a vertebrae that doesn't break, so they just like
- 17:12Speaker 2: come bounce them back.
- 17:13Speaker 1: It's crazy. I tried using a tennis racket.
- 17:15Speaker 3: I never want to get one again.
- 17:18Speaker 2: We'll have to strike that because we don't want Peter
- 17:20Speaker 2: getting mad at us. But yeah, I've taken I've taken
- 17:22Speaker 2: a tennis racket to a bat more than once. So
- 17:25Speaker 2: and let's just say it didn't hurt him at all.
- 17:27Speaker 5: But that was fine.
- 17:38Speaker 1: So we got okay where we're at the show.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Now we've got Alicia and Sean, you know, unallownge share
- 17:43Speaker 2: talk about the upcoming vote. Shawn's thinking that Shawn saying
- 17:46Speaker 2: the might have a target on his back. His dad's
- 17:48Speaker 2: in politics, which he thinks gives him a leg up,
- 17:50Speaker 2: and he wants to form an alliance. The chatter amongst
- 17:53Speaker 2: the group is that Parisa is now saying Brian's her boyfriend.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and Bailey wants to keep other people.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Around that are actual in love, like her and Jeremy
- 18:01Speaker 2: and you know whatever. And then Sean basically goes around
- 18:06Speaker 2: to talk to anyone who I think will talk to
- 18:08Speaker 2: him about aligning with him, right, and Brian starts hearing
- 18:13Speaker 2: the chatter, which he seemed remarkably close to your guy's table.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Like did you got did no one just see him there?
- 18:19Speaker 3: Liked it?
- 18:20Speaker 2: Was it just that we didn't see him because he's
- 18:21Speaker 2: it looked like he was like two feet away.
- 18:23Speaker 3: I don't think there was anyone really too worried about
- 18:25Speaker 3: who was listening to whom about because.
- 18:31Speaker 2: It was like yeah, yeah, you know, and he's like,
- 18:32Speaker 2: hey man, but I will say And one thing I
- 18:34Speaker 2: thought was actually kind of cool was as much as
- 18:38Speaker 2: Sean kind of was coming off poorly in this episode,
- 18:41Speaker 2: when Brian confronted him, he owned it. He's like, yeah,
- 18:44Speaker 2: I think you guys are one of the stronger couples
- 18:45Speaker 2: and you're a threat to me and I.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Need you to go home. You know. I was like, wow, Okay,
- 18:50Speaker 1: I wasn't expecting that.
- 18:51Speaker 4: And I would say Sean and Alicia are one of
- 18:54Speaker 4: the couples that at this point in the in the
- 18:57Speaker 4: show are definitely forming a a love connection and by god,
- 19:02Speaker 4: give me some cash.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, they wanted both things right.
- 19:06Speaker 2: One of the things which I loved and I'm sure
- 19:08Speaker 2: you probably enjoyed this too, was as Brian's kind of
- 19:11Speaker 2: confronting him. Yeah, he's owned in some of it, I guess,
- 19:14Speaker 2: not all of it. But then then he says, no, man,
- 19:16Speaker 2: I was even talking about you, and it says three
- 19:17Speaker 2: minutes earlier, and he's like, yeah, we got to get
- 19:19Speaker 2: Brian and priests the hell out of here.
- 19:21Speaker 3: And then they go back and say four minutes earlier.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Not a good look.
- 19:26Speaker 1: No, I did not reflect well, Bob.
- 19:29Speaker 3: There are some people that handled the truth carelessly in this.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yes, there are. That's a really nice way to put it. So,
- 19:37Speaker 1: I mean, it was crazy you even say in.
- 19:39Speaker 2: There more than once you're like, I can't figure out
- 19:41Speaker 2: what the hell Sean's doing at this point. The game
- 19:43Speaker 2: has changed, you did say, And this is where I was.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I was saying what I liked. Keith was saying he
- 19:48Speaker 2: thinks the couple in love should stay. You're saying, you
- 19:51Speaker 2: know what, I disagree with you. I think the couple
- 19:53Speaker 2: that plays the game the best should stay. And you
- 19:56Speaker 2: know that is if you really think about it. Yes,
- 19:59Speaker 2: Bachelor in Paradise in the past has always been a
- 20:02Speaker 2: show where you're hopeful for a love connection, right, but
- 20:04Speaker 2: there's still there's still some stuff going on that isn't
- 20:09Speaker 2: so above ward. But in this one, by introducing the money,
- 20:13Speaker 2: they definitely have taken this show to a new place.
- 20:15Speaker 2: And I got to be honest, I think I agree
- 20:17Speaker 2: with you. I think once once you put the money
- 20:20Speaker 2: out there, it's a different game. Yes, love, you're hoping
- 20:23Speaker 2: love wins, right, But I remember, and Heather, you might
- 20:28Speaker 2: need to help me on this one. But I remember
- 20:30Speaker 2: back in the day when they first did they did
- 20:33Speaker 2: the Bachelor Pad and they introduced money on that show, right,
- 20:37Speaker 2: And so this was prior to Bachelor in Paradise. Bachelor
- 20:39Speaker 2: Pad went away, I think after two or three seasons,
- 20:41Speaker 2: but there was a season where the couple gets to
- 20:45Speaker 2: the end, and I don't know this.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Might happen in Bachelor in Paradise. I'm not sure.
- 20:50Speaker 2: The couple gets to the end and they have to
- 20:52Speaker 2: choose the love or the money, and the way that
- 20:57Speaker 2: it went was if you both choose love, you get love. Right,
- 21:00Speaker 2: if you both choose money, you get money. And if
- 21:03Speaker 2: one chooses love and one chooses money, the one who
- 21:06Speaker 2: wins the money wins it. And some guy and that's
- 21:09Speaker 2: why I can't remember who this was, but this guy
- 21:12Speaker 2: basically flips his sign over and it's money. The girl
- 21:14Speaker 2: flips over and it's love, and he takes the money.
- 21:19Speaker 2: And it wasn't this much. It wasn't five hundred thousand,
- 21:22Speaker 2: it wasn't that much. But whatever it was, it was.
- 21:24Speaker 2: I remember it being scandalous, like crazy scandalous. And I
- 21:28Speaker 2: can start seeing, you know, you start seeing cracks in
- 21:32Speaker 2: the armor right when you're getting to this stage in
- 21:34Speaker 2: the game and people are starting to get there if
- 21:37Speaker 2: they are in love and they both choose love, and
- 21:40Speaker 2: they think, man, we're gonna both be in love and
- 21:43Speaker 2: come off the show and maybe not have any money
- 21:45Speaker 2: because I don't know what the plot twist is yet.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Then it's like interesting, how much do we love each
- 21:50Speaker 2: other or do we you know, or she in love
- 21:52Speaker 2: with me, I'm not with her, or vice versa exactly.
- 21:55Speaker 3: And I agree with you, Bob.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Once you introduce money into the to the mix, you're
- 22:00Speaker 4: going to have you're going to have that that discourse.
- 22:03Speaker 4: It becomes a strategy of figuring out what's the best strategy,
- 22:07Speaker 4: right the love do we say screw the money? And
- 22:11Speaker 4: that's what I was trying to say to Keith that
- 22:13Speaker 4: I feel like people who are in love are going
- 22:17Speaker 4: to be whether they go off that night or at
- 22:20Speaker 4: the end of the show, if they're in love, they're
- 22:22Speaker 4: walking away in love. And to me, that's a gift.
- 22:25Speaker 1: It is.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Yeah, and if you can walk away not in love
- 22:28Speaker 4: with five hundred K, that's also a gift of a day.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a gift for shore.
- 22:35Speaker 5: Well.
- 22:36Speaker 3: I think Keith and I were just we weren't arguing
- 22:38Speaker 3: with each other. We were just sort of showing the
- 22:41Speaker 3: two sides right to the decision.
- 22:44Speaker 4: And I think the show is that's what we're seeing,
- 22:47Speaker 4: where you know, Jonathan is saying I want to stay.
- 22:51Speaker 4: He is no interest romantic interest in Leah, but give
- 22:55Speaker 4: me some cash, right Yeah?
- 22:57Speaker 2: Okay, So it was Nick Peterson and Ree and the
- 23:01Speaker 2: difference was you either said keep the money or share
- 23:04Speaker 2: the money. She said share, he said keep.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Wow. I thought it was Lover Money.
- 23:10Speaker 2: That was a different show obviously, So this one was
- 23:12Speaker 2: you know, keep your share. So yeah, So I mean,
- 23:14Speaker 2: I'm wondering given the fact that you know, Bachelor in
- 23:18Speaker 2: Paradise replaced Bachelor Pad, right, and for the longest time
- 23:21Speaker 2: it didn't have that twist. Now they're bringing that twist back.
- 23:23Speaker 2: I wonder if that if that comes with it, I wonder,
- 23:26Speaker 2: I mean, who knows.
- 23:27Speaker 1: It might be you and Keith standing up there and
- 23:28Speaker 1: you could tell me but don't do it. Yet, don't
- 23:30Speaker 1: do it.
- 23:31Speaker 3: I could not tell a lie. So I'm just gonna
- 23:33Speaker 3: zip it.
- 23:34Speaker 1: There you go. So let me ask you this.
- 23:36Speaker 2: You and Keith are sitting there having this debate, which
- 23:38Speaker 2: I know wasn't an argument, But what were you thinking
- 23:41Speaker 2: in that moment? Oh, we're we're not as aligned on
- 23:44Speaker 2: this topic as I thought we would be.
- 23:45Speaker 1: And did that matter to you?
- 23:47Speaker 4: It didn't matter to me because one of the things
- 23:51Speaker 4: I love about Keith he's very insightful, and he's very respectful,
- 23:55Speaker 4: and he has a great sense of humor. So there
- 23:59Speaker 4: was no argument, and it was sort of like, oh, really,
- 24:01Speaker 4: because here's what I think, and it was just a discourse.
- 24:05Speaker 3: It was not an argument.
- 24:06Speaker 4: So I think he appreciated my point of view, and
- 24:09Speaker 4: I appreciated his but I think we both thought that
- 24:15Speaker 4: we were going home that night, and I remember Keith
- 24:17Speaker 4: saying to me at some point, you know, there's a
- 24:20Speaker 4: chance we might stay here tonight because Keith were chatting
- 24:25Speaker 4: with the guys, the young guys, and on Rose night,
- 24:29Speaker 4: I mean, and so, I mean, I loved them all.
- 24:32Speaker 4: I cannot tell you how much I love these people
- 24:34Speaker 4: there there. Did you see my Dale with his arm
- 24:37Speaker 4: around me? I was like, yes, how do I get
- 24:39Speaker 4: rid of Cap? That's what I'm thinking.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it was interesting, you know, it's it's
- 24:45Speaker 1: so fun.
- 24:47Speaker 2: It's so fun that it's you two left too, Like
- 24:49Speaker 2: of all the Goldens, I feel like I was I'm
- 24:52Speaker 2: closest with the two of you.
- 24:53Speaker 1: So it was fun to see you.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Guys still there, still, you know, still mixing it up
- 24:58Speaker 2: and being I think in a lot of ways, you know,
- 25:01Speaker 2: obviously being peers with these with these with these younger people,
- 25:04Speaker 2: but also I feel like they kind of you could
- 25:07Speaker 2: tell they really look up to you guys, they respect
- 25:09Speaker 2: you guys, and so I think there there's that kind
- 25:11Speaker 2: of kindness as well, like it's not such a dog
- 25:14Speaker 2: eat dog world. And you know, you said something at
- 25:18Speaker 2: the tail end of the episode, which I thought was
- 25:20Speaker 2: great because you said, you said, hey, now we just
- 25:22Speaker 2: need to win a challenge next week, which I.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Think could be foreshadowing. I'm just saying so.
- 25:27Speaker 2: So yeah, so we got a couple of things going
- 25:29Speaker 2: on there on a tantric date, right, Spencer and Jess
- 25:32Speaker 2: looking very connected.
- 25:34Speaker 1: That almost went rated r we were we were at
- 25:36Speaker 1: PG thirteen at that moment. It kind of took a turn.
- 25:39Speaker 2: But they are start they are start talking about they
- 25:41Speaker 2: start talking about a little strategy as well. You know,
- 25:43Speaker 2: like Spencer says, I think we're the strongest couple. Jess says,
- 25:47Speaker 2: the money could kickstart our future together.
- 25:50Speaker 3: You know, way did you hear Jess?
- 25:52Speaker 4: So then you know, put the last two and pull
- 25:54Speaker 4: them back in and say whoa, whoa, whoa, we're.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Here for love.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Yes, she's like that, we've are aready found what we
- 26:00Speaker 2: came here for, right, which I thought was a really
- 26:02Speaker 2: sweet thing to say.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I love that.
- 26:04Speaker 2: And Spencer said, I'm falling in love with you, and
- 26:07Speaker 2: I've fallen in love with you, and Jess says the
- 26:09Speaker 2: same back that she wanted to say at first. So
- 26:11Speaker 2: it is very sweet to see that you know, Jade
- 26:14Speaker 2: and Tanner had become friends of mine over the years,
- 26:16Speaker 2: and they fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise, and
- 26:18Speaker 2: it was always so sweet for me to know, Like
- 26:20Speaker 2: I didn't know them before I went to the wedding.
- 26:23Speaker 2: They kind of had to invite me, which I felt
- 26:25Speaker 2: bad for them, But I had so much fun once
- 26:27Speaker 2: I was there, and now I consider that my friends.
- 26:29Speaker 1: But it's nice to watch people have a love story
- 26:31Speaker 1: that you can really get behind.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that, Bob, is why I wanted to stay. I'm
- 26:36Speaker 3: not kidding.
- 26:36Speaker 4: I love Remember I have kids that are just slightly
- 26:40Speaker 4: older than these than these, and so it was just, Yes,
- 26:44Speaker 4: it felt great. Keith and I talked about that, how
- 26:46Speaker 4: it felt great that they came to us for advice
- 26:49Speaker 4: and asked us. That really felt great. But just to
- 26:53Speaker 4: watch love growing, it was just I loved it. It
- 26:59Speaker 4: was so so warm. It warmed my heart.
- 27:02Speaker 2: It was sweet and you could tell you could tell
- 27:04Speaker 2: that the producers liked them too, right, because the producers
- 27:07Speaker 2: were showing all of that for us.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I was gonna say. The other thing that would
- 27:10Speaker 3: have warmed my heart more.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Is if you know mister mister Wright sauntered in rode
- 27:16Speaker 4: in on a horse, swam up from the ocean.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Any of those great.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Any one of these, I guess right, we still could
- 27:23Speaker 2: have a James Bond moment where he's coming through the
- 27:24Speaker 2: through the ocean, the rolling waves.
- 27:27Speaker 1: So we get back to the show.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Cast members are now talking strategy, and I think Sean
- 27:31Speaker 2: kind of almost forced everyone's hand on this because he
- 27:35Speaker 2: was being so open about it that I feel like
- 27:39Speaker 2: people were almost like, are we supposed to be doing this? Like?
- 27:41Speaker 2: Because and I think I would feel that way too,
- 27:43Speaker 2: Like if I wasn't thinking that way and all of
- 27:45Speaker 2: a sudden, this one dude is and I'm hearing my
- 27:47Speaker 2: name in the mix, I'd probably be like, hey, So
- 27:49Speaker 2: we see a montage of the girls talking strategy and
- 27:52Speaker 2: then uh, you know, of course.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Which we knew. I knew was going to come.
- 27:55Speaker 2: At least I thought that Andrew would tip off Spencer
- 27:58Speaker 2: that Sean's wants to wants him and us out and
- 28:00Speaker 2: because their strongest couple, right, And then Alicia walks in
- 28:03Speaker 2: on Alex and Bailey whispering about her and Sean, and
- 28:06Speaker 2: this really upsets her, right, And so that that kind
- 28:09Speaker 2: of is the kickstart of that evening. Part of the
- 28:11Speaker 2: show where the cocktail party starts, Wells kind of recaps,
- 28:17Speaker 2: you know, what's going on. Obviously, he's very happy to
- 28:20Speaker 2: get rid of four people because he's just sick of
- 28:22Speaker 2: sling in so many cottails.
- 28:24Speaker 3: And I loved it what he said about Keith's.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Let's get Gonzo lot of here, man, this dude's breaking
- 28:30Speaker 1: my bar tab.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Keith aka Gonzo may have been the guy to close
- 28:35Speaker 4: the barsing.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I just say, that's not a surprise to me. I've
- 28:38Speaker 2: hung out with that guy. I get it sewn and Spencer.
- 28:41Speaker 2: So Sean tools Spencer for a chat. He basically realizes
- 28:45Speaker 2: that he is he is made a miscalculation right, So
- 28:49Speaker 2: he tells him about his Parliament of Paradise and how
- 28:51Speaker 2: he thinks Spencer and Jess are his main competition.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Wanted to be honest.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Spencer says he's gonna make Sean feel comfortable and then
- 28:58Speaker 2: he's gonna slit his throat in this game, which I
- 28:59Speaker 2: thought was pretty good, uh, parsaid Hannah. Priesa tells Hannah
- 29:03Speaker 2: that if her and Brian are pinned against each other,
- 29:06Speaker 2: they'll just leave Paradise together, which you know I would
- 29:10Speaker 2: hope that would be the case, because even though you know,
- 29:13Speaker 2: I get it, like Brian isn't everybody's favorite at this moment,
- 29:15Speaker 2: but I still feel like they kind of have something there,
- 29:18Speaker 2: you know, they seem to have something kind of special.
- 29:20Speaker 1: And you would know better.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Than me, obviously, But you know, the Jeremy and Brian
- 29:25Speaker 2: chat with some Matthia music going that was great, editing
- 29:28Speaker 2: the Godfather, the Godfather, He's like afraid, Oh yeah, he's definitely.
- 29:32Speaker 3: I'm waiting for the dead horse to show up at
- 29:33Speaker 3: the PLoP in the bed.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. So he swims with the he swims with
- 29:37Speaker 1: the fishes or whatever. Jeremy says, He'll forgive but not forget.
- 29:40Speaker 1: He recognizes.
- 29:41Speaker 2: It's good that Brian apologized, and I think that's cool too.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I mean, Brian was probably doing a little strategy as
- 29:46Speaker 2: well in that moment, but he did own it. But
- 29:50Speaker 2: you know, it's also kind of one of those things
- 29:51Speaker 2: too where you gotta wonder, like I get, you know,
- 29:56Speaker 2: I get that that Brian, you know, maybe should have
- 29:59Speaker 2: been a little more tac full about how yet process situation.
- 30:01Speaker 1: But if the dude really said.
- 30:03Speaker 2: That, and and and you know, wouldn't you want to
- 30:07Speaker 2: know that if you were the woman dating him.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Are we talking about what Brian told Bailey. Yeah, oh,
- 30:14Speaker 4: I'm with Wells on this one hundred percent. And yeah
- 30:17Speaker 4: it caused me some you know, some hate mail. But
- 30:21Speaker 4: I just I'm with I'm with Wells, I'm with the team.
- 30:25Speaker 4: I'm with team Brian. I think he was trying to
- 30:28Speaker 4: do a favor for Bailey, but I also think Bailey,
- 30:32Speaker 4: as I said earlier, I don't think Bailey was really
- 30:36Speaker 4: interested in receiving for me.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, she didn't seem to. I mean, we saw
- 30:41Speaker 2: that he said it in last week's episode. You know,
- 30:44Speaker 2: I actually thought Brian kind of redeemed himself a little
- 30:48Speaker 2: bit by doing what I thought was the right thing,
- 30:50Speaker 2: especially given how you know it played out for him
- 30:53Speaker 2: earlier in the season when when Prisa showed up and
- 30:55Speaker 2: he was all of a sudden kind of like.
- 30:56Speaker 1: The bad guy. But but yeah, I.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Mean it's kind of interesting. You know, he told the
- 31:01Speaker 2: truth and now he's apologizing for telling the truth.
- 31:03Speaker 1: So, you know, I don't know. I mean, at the
- 31:05Speaker 1: end of the day, I'm going to chalk.
- 31:07Speaker 3: It up to being young and dumb.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I don't know, Yeah, exactly, exactly.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Yeah, So Alicia is upset the conversations are happening behind
- 31:24Speaker 2: her back. She's really emotional about it, questioning her friendships,
- 31:28Speaker 2: upset with Sean about not just relaxing on this whole thing,
- 31:31Speaker 2: and he didn't listen to her, tells him that people
- 31:34Speaker 2: are questioning if Sean even cares about her, and she
- 31:37Speaker 2: informs Sean that Kat is not his friend. So this
- 31:39Speaker 2: becomes a thing now where Kat, you know, basically Cat
- 31:45Speaker 2: and Dale chat. They seem to be in a really
- 31:47Speaker 2: good spot. We'd be my boyfriend. He's saying, you know, yes,
- 31:50Speaker 2: I love me some cat, which.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I guess is a yes.
- 31:53Speaker 2: But he does say we are now I'm officially her boyfriend.
- 31:57Speaker 2: So he does say that up to the camera.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Bob, I thought exactly this same thing.
- 32:00Speaker 4: I thought, well, you know, as an English major, he
- 32:03Speaker 4: did not you say the word yes, And then afterwards
- 32:06Speaker 4: he said, but we're boyfriend and girlfriend.
- 32:08Speaker 3: I thought it was a very sweet moment.
- 32:10Speaker 2: I mean, I love me some pancakes, but it doesn't
- 32:12Speaker 2: mean I love you know you know what I'm saying, So.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with you. So then so Alicia finally
- 32:17Speaker 1: pools the women.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Yeah, they sit down her friend the close friend group
- 32:22Speaker 2: of hers, I should say, and she basically confronts them
- 32:25Speaker 2: about talking behind their back. They say they weren't plotting,
- 32:28Speaker 2: they're worried about how Sean is acting. I thought it
- 32:32Speaker 2: was actually a pretty above board conversation from what I
- 32:35Speaker 2: could tell. Right, Alex wants the plutonic couples to go
- 32:39Speaker 2: priests says they're all on the same page. Clearly that's
- 32:41Speaker 2: not how the vote went down, but I think it
- 32:43Speaker 2: was because Sean again still grinding, you know, just grinding
- 32:49Speaker 2: the room.
- 32:49Speaker 4: I'm sitting here, you know, you know when you go
- 32:52Speaker 4: to the amusement park and you're hitting the ball to
- 32:54Speaker 4: make the horse go up the thing, I'm in my head,
- 32:57Speaker 4: I'm going keep going strawn because my horse is just
- 32:59Speaker 4: going right exactly.
- 33:00Speaker 2: You're like, dude, keep burying yourself. I mean, I think
- 33:03Speaker 2: if he would have stopped when Alicia told him to stop,
- 33:06Speaker 2: there may have been a chance for redemption, right, But
- 33:08Speaker 2: then his ego gets in the way, and he's like
- 33:12Speaker 2: cat cat indicated that we're not like, if anything, he
- 33:15Speaker 2: should have kept his mouth shut till the end of
- 33:17Speaker 2: the vote, you know, if nothing else. But he goes
- 33:20Speaker 2: confronts her. She, you know, basically is like, that's it.
- 33:24Speaker 2: I'm not gonna be disrespected anymore. She gets up and
- 33:26Speaker 2: goes to tell Dale, Dale, I don't think most of
- 33:29Speaker 2: the dudes there should be messing with Dale.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Right, Dale's not happy you do with Dale. Yeah, he's
- 33:36Speaker 1: a little bit of a beast.
- 33:38Speaker 2: And he gets up, he walks over, He's like, you're done, stop,
- 33:41Speaker 2: you know, and and basically, you know, I think that
- 33:45Speaker 2: was pretty uh noble of him to do that, and
- 33:49Speaker 2: to go over there and say that, you know, and
- 33:51Speaker 2: and basically just tell him, like, hey, dude, quit picking
- 33:53Speaker 2: on my girlfriend.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:55Speaker 4: Let me let me just say one thing about Dale.
- 33:57Speaker 4: He was and I had he was the oldest of
- 34:01Speaker 4: the young crowd. Yes, and he was the oldest of
- 34:04Speaker 4: the old crowd. And he and I just forged a
- 34:07Speaker 4: great friendship. And I will say my feelings on Dale.
- 34:10Speaker 4: I'm not only is the easy on the eyes, but
- 34:12Speaker 4: that guy has real leadership. He gives you that aura
- 34:16Speaker 4: of I'm a leader, I'm thinking things through. And I
- 34:20Speaker 4: really think the other young people really listen to him.
- 34:24Speaker 2: I really do think yeah, yeah, I mean, and it
- 34:27Speaker 2: could be a nice redemption arc for him, right, because
- 34:30Speaker 2: I mean, when he was you know, Claire's choice on
- 34:34Speaker 2: the Bachelorette. He didn't look so great after when they
- 34:38Speaker 2: were breaking up, right, that was kind of a rough
- 34:41Speaker 2: time for him publicly, And so you know, this.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Could be this could be a different view of Dale,
- 34:46Speaker 1: you know. I mean, he might have just not handled
- 34:48Speaker 1: that situation so well. I don't know, but you know,
- 34:52Speaker 1: so anyway, Jesse commes and says, Okay, guys, cocktail party's over.
- 34:55Speaker 1: It's time to cast the votes.
- 34:57Speaker 2: And I thought it was a weird vote voting thing
- 35:00Speaker 2: at first, that you guys are passing around the iPad
- 35:03Speaker 2: and then and I was like, man, that's gonna be
- 35:05Speaker 2: strange because I wonder if people can like see who
- 35:07Speaker 2: the person voted for previously.
- 35:10Speaker 4: But no, huh, you couldn't say we were sitting strategically
- 35:14Speaker 4: so that you voted and then you went up and
- 35:16Speaker 4: handed just as the show showed, you got up and
- 35:19Speaker 4: handed the iPad to.
- 35:20Speaker 1: The next the next perton.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Yeah, so you were told who to hand it to you, Like, okay, Kathy,
- 35:24Speaker 2: you vote, you handed to Keith or whatever.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Yes, I knew I was handing it too, and but
- 35:29Speaker 3: we didn't. To be clear, no one knew.
- 35:32Speaker 4: So let me just say my feelings were tonight when
- 35:35Speaker 4: I saw a couple of those girls voting against me.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Yeah, well clearly, you know you know what though, and
- 35:41Speaker 2: we all know how editing works. You know, that could
- 35:43Speaker 2: have been that. It couldn't even been next week. I mean,
- 35:45Speaker 2: I don't know if that you're right, I feel better. Yeah, hey,
- 35:49Speaker 2: believe me. When I was a bachelor and like he
- 35:51Speaker 2: made out with thirty six women, I'm like, there's not
- 35:53Speaker 2: even thirty six women on the show.
- 35:54Speaker 1: And I was wearing different ties and everything that was
- 35:57Speaker 1: it wasn't the same roaskit ceremony night.
- 35:59Speaker 2: But you don't think about that stuff, right, So, so
- 36:02Speaker 2: Jess is the first name it's called. She of course
- 36:04Speaker 2: gives her rose to Spencer, and as we mentioned, says,
- 36:07Speaker 2: I hope this is the last first date that either
- 36:09Speaker 2: of us ever have.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Then Alex of course gives her rose to Andrew. Then
- 36:13Speaker 1: Bailey gives her rose to Jeremy. No surprises so far, right,
- 36:18Speaker 1: Kat gives her rose to Dale. There still no surprises.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Then Kathy gets the call and you come up and
- 36:27Speaker 2: you give her rose to Keith. And this is when
- 36:29Speaker 2: people start unraveling, right, because in their minds it was
- 36:33Speaker 2: Kathy and Leah are going home tonight because they're the
- 36:36Speaker 2: blatonic couples. And and in fact, you know, Brian and
- 36:42Speaker 2: Parisa clearly hadn't won over everyone the way that they
- 36:45Speaker 2: thought they had, right, But she's kind of all upset.
- 36:49Speaker 2: And then all of a sudden, here comes the announcement
- 36:51Speaker 2: of Alicia basically saying that she and Sean came to
- 36:54Speaker 2: find love, they found it. They're out of here. But
- 36:57Speaker 2: Sean just still can't get out of his own way,
- 37:00Speaker 2: can't keep his pie hole shut. And he basically said,
- 37:02Speaker 2: you just voted off the strongest couple, and Dale, I
- 37:05Speaker 2: love you, but Kat, don't call me crying after this
- 37:07Speaker 2: one ends, which I thought, you know, I get it.
- 37:11Speaker 2: In his mind, he thought it was this great, you know,
- 37:13Speaker 2: walk off thing. But when you're saying that you're you're
- 37:17Speaker 2: you're gonna play this game with integrity and dada, you
- 37:20Speaker 2: can't take pot shots on the way out the door.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Hold on, I think Alicia is the one that said
- 37:26Speaker 3: we're leaving with integrity.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Yes she did, that's true.
- 37:30Speaker 3: The royal we. I didn't hear it out of Sean.
- 37:34Speaker 1: The purjoritatively, Yes, of course, the royal wi.
- 37:37Speaker 2: She was speaking for both of them, and couldn't you know,
- 37:40Speaker 2: once again, couldn't get him to.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Listen uh to her wisdom because she you know, I
- 37:45Speaker 1: just have to.
- 37:45Speaker 4: Say one thing that when we were talking about who
- 37:49Speaker 4: to vote off, because you know, the control party, it's
- 37:52Speaker 4: it's really like you know, uh, speed dating, except you're voting.
- 37:56Speaker 4: You know, it's talking about who you're putting off. I
- 37:59Speaker 4: kept saying to them, They like, oh, I can't vote
- 38:01Speaker 4: off Parisa.
- 38:02Speaker 3: She's my friend.
- 38:03Speaker 4: And I finally looked at them and said, hey, friends,
- 38:07Speaker 4: you are going to be voting off your friends this
- 38:10Speaker 4: right next week, just newsflash, it's coming, and they look
- 38:14Speaker 4: it's coming.
- 38:15Speaker 3: They looked at me like, huh.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I mean there again, right, the voice of
- 38:19Speaker 2: reason there again. It's like, guys, it doesn't matter whether
- 38:22Speaker 2: it's this week or next week. It's happening because otherwise,
- 38:25Speaker 2: what are you going to vote yourself off? No, so,
- 38:27Speaker 2: at one point or another, you're voting one of your
- 38:29Speaker 2: friends off of this show, right, So good good advice.
- 38:32Speaker 4: In the moment, they don't you know, no one wants
- 38:34Speaker 4: to think about from the moment. They want to think
- 38:37Speaker 4: love will triumph all There'll be five hundred thousand for
- 38:40Speaker 4: every couple, We're all going to walk away Kumbaya arman
- 38:43Speaker 4: ar Nope.
- 38:44Speaker 3: Not nope.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Trust me when I tell you the show ain't that generous.
- 38:50Speaker 2: There's still I'm still pretty convinced there's going to be
- 38:52Speaker 2: some type of loophole that five hundred thousand. I'm still
- 38:55Speaker 2: not all the way there yet. So then you know,
- 38:59Speaker 2: this is a ten this moment. Dale takes one for
- 39:02Speaker 2: the team, right and decides he's going to break wind
- 39:05Speaker 2: to get everyone to laugh, and then blames it on
- 39:07Speaker 2: old Gonza, our boy.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Gonza's like, I.
- 39:09Speaker 4: Didn't I didn't do it to be fair to Dale,
- 39:12Speaker 4: you know anything. I mean, it's a bodily function and
- 39:16Speaker 4: Keith could handle it. You know, it was a little white.
- 39:19Speaker 4: But that was before the last rose.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Right, yes, yes, it was. The last rose was a
- 39:27Speaker 2: big surprise, wasn't it, Because you've still got another potential
- 39:32Speaker 2: couple that is technically a couple. And Leah gives a
- 39:38Speaker 2: rose to Julias the call, which she's shocked by, and
- 39:41Speaker 2: then gives her rose to Jonathan. Now do you think
- 39:43Speaker 2: there's any chance that had Alicia and Sean not walked off.
- 39:50Speaker 1: That they would have gotten a rose?
- 39:52Speaker 2: Because I know Jesse said, you know, they weren't getting
- 39:54Speaker 2: the rows anyway, but I would say that too if
- 39:56Speaker 2: I was hosting, even if it wasn't true. Do you
- 39:58Speaker 2: think there was any chance that they might have been
- 40:01Speaker 2: safe and they just and Sean.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Not a chance. Okay, that's my thought. I don't know.
- 40:08Speaker 4: I didn't see how people voted, but I was not
- 40:11Speaker 4: surprised when when they went. You know, I was surprised
- 40:15Speaker 4: that Alicia said, we're going to self eliminate, but I
- 40:19Speaker 4: was not surprised that they I don't think they would
- 40:21Speaker 4: have gotten the rose. As I said, I was surprised
- 40:25Speaker 4: that I was still there because remember it's now down
- 40:28Speaker 4: to the young people and one golden couple. And yes,
- 40:31Speaker 4: they love us, they want to spend time with us,
- 40:33Speaker 4: they want our opinions, and they don't want us to win,
- 40:37Speaker 4: and that's right. So I was surprised. But what surprised
- 40:42Speaker 4: me more was Jonathan when he when when Leon gets
- 40:47Speaker 4: the rose and gives it to Jonathan that he just
- 40:50Speaker 4: straight up says, great, you know, let's go. We got
- 40:52Speaker 4: to start being strategizing.
- 40:55Speaker 3: How we're going to win.
- 40:56Speaker 4: It's like he is underscoring the fact that he has
- 41:00Speaker 4: no romantic interest in layout zippity right.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Lay a crime. She wants to be married to wants.
- 41:07Speaker 1: He did throw a liplock on her, though he did
- 41:09Speaker 1: throw a liplock who knows?
- 41:12Speaker 3: Fair enough, who knows?
- 41:13Speaker 4: But she sure spent a lot of time crying, saying
- 41:16Speaker 4: she wished she found her guy. And Jonathan is busy
- 41:20Speaker 4: talking about five hundred thousand dollars. And by the way,
- 41:24Speaker 4: should Jonathan win five hundred thousand dollars?
- 41:27Speaker 3: You know he owes half of the dude, don't you.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Well, I would say to you, by uh, what's it
- 41:34Speaker 2: April for keeping her around? Yeah, yeah, I'd say half
- 41:38Speaker 2: of it to you too, and then of course half
- 41:40Speaker 2: the government.
- 41:41Speaker 1: So he'll he'll be uh, you know, he might make
- 41:42Speaker 1: a couple like forty.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Dollars ninety five.
- 41:45Speaker 1: You never know.
- 41:46Speaker 2: So the previous for next week get interesting, right. You
- 41:49Speaker 2: see people with fly swatters freaking out. We know that
- 41:52Speaker 2: this is Kat's biggest fear. Maybe they just think she's
- 41:55Speaker 2: been spent too composed this whole time. They want to
- 41:57Speaker 2: see her go bonkers. Spencer feels like he doesn't you
- 42:00Speaker 2: can trust. And then we see Spencer and Jess talking
- 42:02Speaker 2: about moving in and Jess is like, I don't know
- 42:04Speaker 2: if we're on the same page with that, and she
- 42:05Speaker 2: seems all of a sudden, I mean, this week, I
- 42:07Speaker 2: hope it's the last first date we ever have. Next week,
- 42:10Speaker 2: you know, I'm never I don't think we're going to
- 42:12Speaker 2: move in. It's like, oh my gosh.
- 42:14Speaker 4: Well, I mean, to be fair, you can fall in
- 42:17Speaker 4: love with someone, but that doesn't mean the next step,
- 42:20Speaker 4: the very next step is hey, you moving in? I mean, right,
- 42:24Speaker 4: we can have a few months in between, right, So
- 42:26Speaker 4: I think I think, I think when you're young and
- 42:29Speaker 4: paradise is a condensed romance. That so I'm I'm guessing
- 42:36Speaker 4: there's a little bit coming and going I'm in love.
- 42:38Speaker 4: Whoa this is going fast? Boy, I'm really in love?
- 42:41Speaker 3: Whoa this?
- 42:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna pump the brakes. I need to make
- 42:44Speaker 2: sure this is real. What are we like when the
- 42:45Speaker 2: cameras are off? I mean, that's how I felt when
- 42:47Speaker 2: I was the Bachelor. To be honest, I remember thinking
- 42:49Speaker 2: I was like, I mean, okay, yeah, but I'm not
- 42:52Speaker 2: taking a helicopter into a volcano on a date in Detroit.
- 42:56Speaker 2: It just doesn't happen, you know. So this is where
- 42:59Speaker 2: you actually say which I which? I love you say? Hey,
- 43:02Speaker 2: you know what, I know. I'm on borrow time now right,
- 43:05Speaker 2: my time is coming. I hope to win the challenge
- 43:07Speaker 2: next week so I can stick around a little bit longer.
- 43:09Speaker 2: And then we see the armor crack on Keith and
- 43:13Speaker 2: in the previous and he's like, I'm really homesick. I
- 43:15Speaker 2: want to go home. Yeah, And he is such a dad, right,
- 43:18Speaker 2: He's such a girl dad, and he loves being the
- 43:20Speaker 2: girl dad. And and uh, he's starting he's starting to
- 43:24Speaker 2: miss his family.
- 43:26Speaker 3: Talks about that. I mean, he is close with his
- 43:30Speaker 3: his daughters.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Yeah, he loves them to death. Oh my gosh.
- 43:33Speaker 3: And that's a wonderful train about him.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Oh heck yeah.
- 43:37Speaker 2: I can only imagine though at this point. I mean,
- 43:39Speaker 2: you're you're thinking, Okay, we gotta play smart, we got
- 43:41Speaker 2: to stick around. And he's like, hey, I'm ready to
- 43:43Speaker 2: go home.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I'm homesick. So that's got to create an interesting conversation
- 43:46Speaker 1: for next week.
- 43:47Speaker 2: I would think I would think, yeah, well you would know.
- 43:51Speaker 1: I'm excited to see it.
- 43:53Speaker 3: You're a smart man.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I don't know about that. I just watch a lot
- 43:57Speaker 1: of TV.
- 43:58Speaker 2: That's probably more than anything, but No, it was a
- 44:00Speaker 2: great episode. I feel like, and I hate to say
- 44:04Speaker 2: it this way because it doesn't it's not gonna it's
- 44:06Speaker 2: not gonna resonate, it's not gonna ring true.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Because I've loved all the episodes so far, this.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Was my the first episode that I felt sincerely invested
- 44:15Speaker 2: in from a different place, like watching it today. I
- 44:18Speaker 2: got to watch it today earlier, and man, I couldn't
- 44:21Speaker 2: get enough of it, you know, Like I was like, what.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Is going on? It's like, this guy is gonna just
- 44:26Speaker 1: sell it's self distruct He's just oh my god, Like
- 44:28Speaker 1: I always wanted to jump in there and smack him.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Around a little bit and be like, Okay, first of all,
- 44:32Speaker 2: let's get a little rasor going right, Let's trim that
- 44:34Speaker 2: down a little bit. Secondly, you're not that savvy, bro.
- 44:38Speaker 2: People are watching you like they know what you're doing.
- 44:40Speaker 2: You know.
- 44:40Speaker 1: I was worried about that.
- 44:42Speaker 4: I will say to you, I have been known to
- 44:45Speaker 4: have an opinion or two about one or two things
- 44:47Speaker 4: in my life, and I was really proud of myself
- 44:50Speaker 4: that for the most part, I really tried to just
- 44:53Speaker 4: lay low and say, just just speak the obvious, like
- 44:57Speaker 4: you will be voting against your friends that and you
- 45:02Speaker 4: need to lay off your you're you know, you're going
- 45:05Speaker 4: at this a little too hard.
- 45:06Speaker 3: I think you're turning people against you. I did say
- 45:09Speaker 3: that to him.
- 45:09Speaker 2: So, yeah, well I think that was in the episode.
- 45:11Speaker 2: I think, I think, if I'm not mistaken, at least
- 45:13Speaker 2: I felt like it was. But yeah, I felt I
- 45:16Speaker 2: felt like you and Keith the one scene in particular,
- 45:19Speaker 2: when she had already asked him stop and he pulls
- 45:22Speaker 2: the two of you over, and it was almost like
- 45:24Speaker 2: the two of you were looking at him like, oh, buddy,
- 45:27Speaker 2: It's almost like you were looking at someone who was like, no,
- 45:29Speaker 2: I didn't have any drinks tonight, and you're like mm hmm.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Okay, but you know, and I was like watching you guys, thinking.
- 45:34Speaker 4: We see a line of empty glasses right behind you.
- 45:38Speaker 1: And you're like, I doesn't us in a drink?
- 45:40Speaker 2: You know, okay, all right, buddy, But no, I thought
- 45:42Speaker 2: I thought, you guys, you know, really did kind of
- 45:46Speaker 2: have that that wisdom that someone like that kid needed
- 45:50Speaker 2: to hear.
- 45:51Speaker 1: And who knows, you know, he might he might be
- 45:53Speaker 1: watching that episode now.
- 45:54Speaker 2: And being like, man, I really miscalculated while I was
- 45:58Speaker 2: doing there, or I like, he also might have watched
- 46:01Speaker 2: the episode and just doubled out, like, you know, these
- 46:02Speaker 2: people don't what they're doing, you know.
- 46:04Speaker 1: You know, I don't know. I don't know they guy
- 46:05Speaker 1: you do, but I don't know.
- 46:06Speaker 3: I could see it going either way. Frankly, I don't know.
- 46:09Speaker 4: That's the thing about being on the show and watching
- 46:13Speaker 4: it back. I was like, oh my god, you know
- 46:16Speaker 4: you have a whole perspective when you're watching it back.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Well, you know, let me ask you this.
- 46:21Speaker 2: So in in the show, uh and now watching it back,
- 46:27Speaker 2: do you think Alicia and Sean will make it on
- 46:31Speaker 2: the outside, Like, do you think they walked off that show?
- 46:33Speaker 2: We thought we came here to find love, and we
- 46:35Speaker 2: found it. We're out, And I mean, do you think
- 46:37Speaker 2: they can keep it together?
- 46:38Speaker 4: I think they have a good shot. They're both from Tampa,
- 46:41Speaker 4: so you know, it's not like getting on an airplane
- 46:44Speaker 4: and flying to California from New York City every weekend.
- 46:47Speaker 4: So they they have a chance because they upon leaving,
- 46:53Speaker 4: they're going back to their lives and hey, I'm free
- 46:56Speaker 4: for dinner. It's not a two hour drive, you know,
- 46:58Speaker 4: it's right, So I think, yeah, they the proximity maybe
- 47:02Speaker 4: gives them a good chance, and they.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Look great together.
- 47:06Speaker 1: They do well.
- 47:07Speaker 2: I think she would look pretty great with anybody actually,
- 47:09Speaker 2: and he's he's a pretty good looking guy too.
- 47:11Speaker 3: So yeah, listen, I just sat there marveling at the
- 47:16Speaker 3: handsome men and the beautiful young ladies on the show.
- 47:20Speaker 3: Just they're they're all not only are they nice, but
- 47:22Speaker 3: they're beautiful. So it just they're great people. They're great.
- 47:27Speaker 2: This cast Golden's included all very beautiful people, and I
- 47:30Speaker 2: think I think you're right. I think it was one
- 47:32Speaker 2: of those things, like it was definitely it seemed to
- 47:35Speaker 2: me like one of those casts where you know, wow,
- 47:38Speaker 2: I mean, you know, you you meet these people and
- 47:41Speaker 2: you just see the sparks and you're like, of course,
- 47:43Speaker 2: you know, look at these two, you know, like I mean,
- 47:45Speaker 2: every single one of them, you know, looks like they're
- 47:47Speaker 2: you know, coming off the cover of GQ together.
- 47:49Speaker 4: So it's do you think that people always like to question, oh,
- 47:53Speaker 4: you know, it's a joke, it's paradise, they're not together,
- 47:56Speaker 4: or they're not gonna this won't last. I think sometimes
- 48:01Speaker 4: magic happens.
- 48:04Speaker 1: I do too.
- 48:05Speaker 2: I mean, hey, there's I think I'm going to say
- 48:09Speaker 2: this out loud. I think there as many marriages from
- 48:13Speaker 2: Paradise as there are from the regular season.
- 48:17Speaker 3: I think that's probably right.
- 48:18Speaker 1: I know there are. Oh, I shouldn't say, I know.
- 48:20Speaker 2: I'm more confident saying that there are as many marriages
- 48:24Speaker 2: on Paradise than there are from The Bachelor. Not sure
- 48:27Speaker 2: about the Bachelrette and Bachelor combined though, But I would say.
- 48:30Speaker 1: I'm probably right on that. Heather fact check. But yeah,
- 48:34Speaker 1: I would definitely think that there's something to it.
- 48:36Speaker 2: And it also could be that you know that that
- 48:39Speaker 2: is largely in part due to the fact that they've
- 48:41Speaker 2: all kind of been through this process before and now
- 48:44Speaker 2: you're on the other side of it and you're willing
- 48:46Speaker 2: to kind of give it another chance and maybe not
- 48:48Speaker 2: be as attached to the outcome at the start, right,
- 48:53Speaker 2: and also having eight people to look at instead of
- 48:56Speaker 2: one and you're like, oh, well, that dude's definitely more
- 48:59Speaker 2: my speed than that guy or whatever. You know.
- 49:01Speaker 3: For me, it was a great thrill getting to hand
- 49:04Speaker 3: out roses.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's fun, isn't it.
- 49:06Speaker 3: I want just to be able to hand out a rose.
- 49:10Speaker 4: Like I won Uh, Yeah, it's it's It is an
- 49:15Speaker 4: amazing place to be It is an amazing Uh, it's
- 49:21Speaker 4: just an amazing situation to be in. And I think
- 49:24Speaker 4: bringing in the game people, you're gonna have people just
- 49:28Speaker 4: like love on one side, money on the other side.
- 49:31Speaker 4: You're gonna have people who love bringing in the money
- 49:34Speaker 4: and the gaming aspect, and people who want to keep
- 49:36Speaker 4: it purely love.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Yeah. I I gotta be honest.
- 49:41Speaker 2: I'm I was torn at the beginning, and I'm really
- 49:46Speaker 2: happy about the money aspect now because.
- 49:48Speaker 1: I, uh, I don't know why. I find it more.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Uh, there's a little more like, a little more cunning,
- 49:54Speaker 2: a little more you know, strategy involved, I guess in
- 49:56Speaker 2: that regard. But also because I like seeing the fact
- 49:59Speaker 2: that we might see someone walk off this thing with money,
- 50:03Speaker 2: and you know, who knows.
- 50:05Speaker 1: It could be It could be Jonathan.
- 50:07Speaker 4: You know, here's the thing, it's we're doubling down here.
- 50:11Speaker 4: You we could see couples, a couple, two, three couples
- 50:14Speaker 4: walk off in love, and we might see a totally
- 50:17Speaker 4: different couple walk off with.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Five hundred thousand dollars.
- 50:20Speaker 1: That would be awesome.
- 50:21Speaker 3: How for a teaser?
- 50:23Speaker 2: Oh my god, but you have four winners technically, right,
- 50:25Speaker 2: that'd be pretty amazing.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Well, well, Kathy. I love you, my friend.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Thank you for always making time for me, and thanks
- 50:31Speaker 2: for coming on almost famous to OG's and giving us
- 50:34Speaker 2: a first hand recap of your your most recent Bachelor
- 50:37Speaker 2: in Paradise episode.
- 50:38Speaker 1: You were spectacular on the show.
- 50:39Speaker 2: You and Gonzo also such a such a cute, loving friendship.
- 50:44Speaker 2: You know, I like teasing you guys all the time,
- 50:46Speaker 2: but I do love you both and so glad that
- 50:48Speaker 2: you guys found each other in friendship.
- 50:50Speaker 4: We love you too, and I this was great. I
- 50:53Speaker 4: thoroughly enjoyed doing this. Give your gorgeous wife a hunt
- 50:57Speaker 4: for me.
- 50:58Speaker 2: I will, I definitely will can. Thank you so much
- 51:00Speaker 2: again for joining us, and hopefully we get to do
- 51:02Speaker 2: this again soon.
- 51:03Speaker 3: I would love to anytime.
