- 0:05Drama, Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling. Hello, darlings, I'm
- 0:21here. We are ready to get into this episode of True Detective. It
- 0:26is Monday morning. Emily Teresis is here. Hello. EM's hello, Amy.
- 0:32What a festive bunch we are today. Gosh, got that right.
- 0:38We had to shift our gears from you know, Taylor Swift's boyfriend winning the
- 0:42Super Bowl Yes, to night Country, and we did a great job.
- 0:47Let's talk about what we're wearing. Emily, you go first. I'm wearing
- 0:53a blue and orange shirt showcasing everyone's favorite Alaskan fruit and or everyone's favorite Ennis,
- 1:03the Ennis logo. Now, this was not in your wardrobe. I
- 1:10realized I may have set the bar a little high for myself by having two
- 1:15pieces that matched the show, and I couldn't like stop now. So I
- 1:19found an orange shirt that's amazing, and the fact that it's blue and orange
- 1:25is unreal. Is customized? Yes, go on, Oh my god,
- 1:30it's customized. Okay, wow, congratulations, thank you for showing up.
- 1:37You know, you really showed up for True Detective. Recap. Now I
- 1:42am wearing what I already had in my wardrobe, which is a Mermaid t
- 1:48shirt from J Crew. As you can see, she is screaming into the
- 1:53which I think she's more of a siren because look it says Las Siren.
- 1:59Y. Now we know the difference between a mermaid and a siren. We
- 2:02sort of went over it at some point, but sirens basically are screaming into
- 2:07the water, whereas mermaids are, you know, hot of your big difference
- 2:16to which sirens are always being a pain in the air. They're just like
- 2:22so cool, They're just really sweet, you know, just a different nature,
- 2:25different demeanor, and a siren, you know, is much like just
- 2:30reminiscent to me of obviously true Detective. Because we've got the the voices on
- 2:37the ocean, we've got the the the eerie screaming, we've got the mythical
- 2:43creature Sedna, who is an underwater creature as we know, missing fingers because
- 2:46our father chopped them off, you know. Right that being said, we
- 2:53are on episode five and we really jump in by not mentioning at all from
- 2:59beginning to end about the fact that last week Navarro's ears we're bleeding in front
- 3:04of a Christmas tree at the Dredges, and that's just it unforgivable that we're
- 3:15not going to talk about that. Yeah, oh, we're not going to
- 3:16talk about it. I need Lisa Renna to be like, oh, we're
- 3:20going to talk about it. Oh her ears we're bleeding because she's dead,
- 3:23honey, you know, like what's going on. I have some new takes
- 3:29after this episode, you better, and they are out there, and I'm
- 3:31telling you, I'm alone on the ice well and I am looking into a
- 3:37void. Don't go six inches, okay, because you'll fall in. Okay,
- 3:42here we go. I'm going six inches. No, don't I could
- 3:46do that? How could you go six inches? Don't you know that where
- 3:51I dug this hole in the ice in six inches? You'll die, you
- 3:55idiot. Emily's facing zoned out and Amy pulls my legs back in. Yeah,
- 4:03get on the ground and do an army crawl and I'll grab yet.
- 4:06You know. But as Emily always says, her family, they always,
- 4:11you know, something is calling them, and so they've got to go.
- 4:14Yeah, something's always calling, and I can't stop listening. Amy, agad.
- 4:17I don't blame you. I know it might have been usher, you
- 4:21know. Yeah, yeah, by day Yeah, I thought it was a
- 4:26great Super Bowl halftime show. I thought it was great, excellent, so
- 4:30entertaining, Oh god. Yeah, And I like that he did it for
- 4:33the cameras, not the stadium, because sometimes that can look so massive on
- 4:39a TV that you can't like. Rihanna's performance was for the stadium, so
- 4:44the people so spaced out, whereas ushers was like condensed for the camera,
- 4:49which as a viewing audience at home, I appreciated. Wow. Interesting take.
- 4:54You said you were going to come in with some hot takes today,
- 4:57and I mean you did. The best or minutes of all time was Bruce
- 5:00Springsteen in the E Street Band. But that's you know, neither here nor
- 5:03there. I think it's there, but I think it's no, it's not
- 5:09there, it's here, it's just here. I think you're asking to write
- 5:12questions in your shame, the right things. You're sure your right crush the
- 5:15former. How many strongs did you know? Usher? Mm hmm. That
- 5:23surprised me. Not as many as I thought me too, But I loved
- 5:27it. But I loved it. Yeah, it was great. Yeah.
- 5:30Well, okay, so we didn't talk about the years bleeding. We did
- 5:33not talk about the years bleeding. We're just gonna carry on, you know,
- 5:36which and then also, okay, let's just go what why what why?
- 5:43Okay, here's my new theory. It's not about good and evil with
- 5:46the orange and the blue. Okay, we're getting to the color theory.
- 5:49Okay, yeah, and this is gonna then lend itself a little bit to
- 5:54the Bleeding Years. The color theory to me is that it's about new worlds
- 6:00that have to exist equally, but are constantly fighting each other fire and ice,
- 6:06past and present, living and dead, and you have to have equal
- 6:12or the other one will crush the other one. That's why we're seeing it
- 6:15in equal parts, back and forth, back and forth, and the colors
- 6:18changed, so I don't think it's like one we I don't think is good
- 6:24because Silver sky Mine was totally blue, and then like oranges and bad.
- 6:30Navara was wearing an orange hat like and then we're seeing this and so like,
- 6:34I think that that's part of it. So we're having to see like
- 6:38I think that's more of what it means. But here's where, if I'm
- 6:42right, America will riot. I wonder if we are in if Danvers is
- 6:48in a coma and we are in her coma with her, because I wonder
- 6:58if all the echoing So why is she in the coma? I don't know.
- 7:01Is it from was she shot by Navarro at Wheelers? Don't know?
- 7:08So I'm wondering if all the echoing music is people in the room talking to
- 7:13her. She's awake, these are things she's hearing. Oh my god,
- 7:18So that and people just freeze and then like you know, you don't know
- 7:23what they're looking at. And then there's a jump scare, and then the
- 7:26scene changes and there's so many loose ends of the ears bleeding or so I'm
- 7:32wondering, Okay, here's one step removed. That so a lot of this
- 7:38happened and Danvers is reliving it, but it's all convoluted like a dreamscape?
- 7:43Yeah, or is it Russ Cole's dream from season one Matthew McConaughey with the
- 7:48swirl coming back in So this could be really crazy and as a nation,
- 8:00as a nation, we can't handle a dream reveal again. So like we've
- 8:07done it. We've done it with New Heart, We've done it with Doubts.
- 8:09New Heart. You're going back, of course, that's of course where
- 8:15you went. Of course you did I love a New Heart reference. Wow,
- 8:20all right, But I'm just wondering if that's what maybe is happening.
- 8:24And this you're asking the right questions Russian right questions. No, stop asking
- 8:30questions. You gotta know when to stop asking questions. Stop right questions,
- 8:35the right question, special right question. Don't ask a great questions. Stop
- 8:37asking questions, just the right question, your question. Crusius. She does
- 8:46something where she's like you where to go time she got from mad and then
- 8:52she like an go on top at the higher pointed mountain. We're going in.
- 9:03I don't know. It's like turn to Bill Murray. That's like from
- 9:07Caddyshack. Okay, let's get back into what you said. Wow, blowing
- 9:15my mind. I'm loving what I'm hearing. I fully sign off on this
- 9:20theory that she's in a coma from the car accident that they got into.
- 9:22It's not a car accident, we don't know. I'm just saying that they
- 9:26got into before that. Okay, she's on that road. The roads are
- 9:28so dangerous, and I think that they got into a car accident because the
- 9:37polar bear was in the middle of the road and then they swerved and then
- 9:41they hit something and Holden died and her husband died and she's an amazing somebody
- 9:50and she's just hearing twist and shackcause somebody's playing all the time in a right
- 9:54right, Yes, because when you think I don't know the chi maybe the
- 10:01husband and the child are the ones that survived. Oh and the child,
- 10:07she's one of the dead that is in between the rose. And then like
- 10:13it's like purgatory or something. It is purgatory and Navarro died in Yeah,
- 10:20Navarro's dead too. It's like the sixth Sense meets Newark. But wait,
- 10:30now that's the story now that I want to see. Yeah, we're seeing
- 10:33it. And then and then what the child. What Holden is saying to
- 10:37Navarro is tell her that I'm okay, I'm a lot. Tell her like
- 10:46maybe Navarro's a medium or something. Yes, oh my god. And her
- 10:52ears bleed when she gets a vision maybe and then and then and then she's
- 11:01awake. Is because Dan versus she's waking up or they're trying to get her
- 11:09to wake up? Yeah? Yeah, I feel like I want to cry
- 11:13right now because we are so wrong. I'm sure, I'm sure we're dead
- 11:18wrong, but I love this. If you are right, I'm going to
- 11:28give you your twenty bucks back from the uh Monica Bay. You're gonna see
- 11:35that pop up, okay, I And I'm I'm happy to be I'll want
- 11:41this to be right because if this is what it is, Emily, I
- 11:46won't be mad at all. It will all make sense. Yeah, Like
- 11:50it would make sense, and I wouldn't have a problem with it. I'd
- 11:52be like, this is okay because it's it's going to be a beautiful ending.
- 12:00And I'm sure that there's all kinds of other things that are that are
- 12:03going on in that town that are actually happening, because they're coming to her
- 12:07bedside and they're telling her what's going on about the town and the water and
- 12:13the mines and the pollution and the protests. And when the daughter says in
- 12:18this episode, I'm not going to give up on you. Yes, she's
- 12:22talking to the coma. Yes, Oh my god, I think I'm gonna
- 12:26cry. Well wait till we're right, because no, I know this is
- 12:33right. It feels right also because like, how else are they going to
- 12:37wrap this up in one episode? No, it has one episode left.
- 12:39It's got it like it can't be sixth sense, but it has to be
- 12:43in that direction because there's too many irons in the fire for it to unfold,
- 12:52right, because it has to be connected back to the orange and the
- 12:54blue, because she's in a sleep and awake state and it's the sun and
- 13:00the moon, and like there's everything is like it it all like it's the
- 13:05ying and the yang in terms of like you can't have one without the other.
- 13:09But if you have too much i e. Night Country, like that's
- 13:13no good. I mean, like it you're just seeing. Also, there
- 13:18was so much focus on past and present, especially this episode with like young
- 13:26and the old. I don't know if you notice, but they showed that
- 13:28Alaskan Police Force badge on their shoulders. It was almost in every shot.
- 13:35After one scene, it was like and sometimes it was like there three or
- 13:41four times in one shot, like you'd see all of their bad all of
- 13:46these shoulder patches with the mama polar bear and a baby polar bear standing on
- 13:50ice with the reflection up like the shadows on the ice. Well, and
- 14:00no, of course when she falls in the ice next episode, will that
- 14:07be the flashback? Oh my gosh, I don't know. Good point,
- 14:11okay, hold on, just be with me, be with me. So
- 14:16when she falls in the ice. Is that the actual accident that put her
- 14:20into a coma? And who got her out of the ice? Was it
- 14:28Navarro? Was it? Who would have who? Who? What makes sense
- 14:35about who would have gotten her out of the ice? Would it have been
- 14:37Pete? Would it have been Navarro? The way that Hank got Pete out
- 14:43of the ice, you know that's gonna come full circle because he explained,
- 14:46how you know the tide you know, I mean there's a current under right,
- 14:52so that he's got to go down further and put an axe a hole
- 14:56in the ice there in order to pull him up when the current takes him
- 14:58further down. That's why he went further down in the ice. He explained
- 15:03that that was total foreshadowing. I think it was foreshadowing, but I feel
- 15:09like Rose, but I don't know Rose. Yeah, because he knows how
- 15:16to do it. You are hitting this on all cylinders. I have goosebumps
- 15:22underneath my Siren T shirt. But again, like I don't know, it
- 15:26might be too low branch to be like it's a dream sequence maybe, but
- 15:31it's more than a dream sequence because if it's a coma, it's reflecting real
- 15:37life and people talking to her, so it can be connected to reality and
- 15:41what she's hearing, and there's a there's a case going on outside of her
- 15:48about Annie Kay. So I think that the real I think the true detective
- 15:52case if you want to come down to detectives cracking a case, which is
- 15:58good cop, bad cop. They have to to break the rules in order
- 16:02to break the case. Right, So there's that aspect of true detective and
- 16:07the supernatural aspect is that she's in a coma and she's connected in that way,
- 16:12and that's what's gonna So there are two linear stories that are going that
- 16:17are somehow connected. And whoever is coming in there and telling her about the
- 16:21case is maybe maybe Navarro that's talking to her about the case. Maybe commonly,
- 16:33well, they were having an affair. I don't know if he'd visit
- 16:36her in the hospital. Well, I mean it's still somebody that he would
- 16:41care about to go visit. I mean, wait, no, wait,
- 16:45hold on, let me think for a second. If she got into an
- 16:48accident, they would have never had an affair because she'd be in a coma.
- 16:52She had an affair. They have been having an affair for seventeen years
- 16:56ago. Oh right, you're right, you're right, you're right. Sorry,
- 16:59Sorry, that whole thing about like thirty years ago. If I just
- 17:03wanted time jump, because we're talking about like the past and Otis, you
- 17:07know, them figuring out well, she was like, how did you drive
- 17:10your injuries? You know when she went to go talk to Otis, how
- 17:12did you survive these injuries? And he was like, I have no idea.
- 17:17I there was a blizzard right right, and then he just woke up,
- 17:22broke up in the hospital. And did he say that? Clark said,
- 17:26back then she's awake. Yes, well he said, he said Raymond
- 17:33Clark uh wanted to know how he survived his uh, how Otis survived his
- 17:38injuries, and then he then the last conversation he had with Raymond Clark was
- 17:45him telling Otis that she she's awake. Okay, So that was reason that
- 17:48wasn't okay because Raymond is not that old, So okay, gotcha, all
- 17:52right, that makes sense. I just was wondering did that come up for
- 17:56him thirty years ago, because I'm like, wait, this happened she was
- 17:59a thirty years ago, and that was some foreshadowing, but that was separate,
- 18:02okay, And this is the second time they've made a point to tell
- 18:06us that Otis survived some accident that he doesn't remember how it happened or how
- 18:11he survived, which also might be some foreshadowing for Danvers if she survived whatever
- 18:17this accident is, because Peter tells us last episode when when we're introduced to
- 18:23the idea of the map maker, Otis that he survived some accident and she
- 18:30said, how you know how he survived or something, and he's like,
- 18:33that's the question. No one knows how he possibly survived because he was the
- 18:37only one that survived of that cave flooding, right, so yeah, and
- 18:44then remember anything else? Mm hmmmm. He's so useless. This's heroine addict.
- 18:52Just great, and now you're dead, you know what I mean?
- 18:56Like we were get Otis, thank you, but no thanks nothing. That's
- 19:00not kidding. He told them where the best point of the entrance is down
- 19:03Bear Creek. I know the highest point of the cave, right, how
- 19:07dare you? Dare you? I you know, I wanted a heroin addict.
- 19:11I wanted to spend more time with him, being like let's go down
- 19:12and here it's like you're gonna trust this guy to lead you into a cave
- 19:17after you, you know, juiced him up. Well that's why she gave
- 19:21said before Now now where where where I love it? She's like, can't
- 19:26kid your heroin? Are you crazy? All right? How'd you some heroin?
- 19:30Don't do it at my house? Are you nuts? Don't do it?
- 19:32All right? Here's your heroin? Go it my house? Should my
- 19:37house? You should make yourself at home? Go ahead? You can.
- 19:42Can't get you a needle, You just gotta smoke it here from four there's
- 19:48some tenfoil turformin form. Yeah, because I gotta go crack throw from caves.
- 20:03Okay, I love that. Like we go to sky sky Zone whatever,
- 20:07yes, sky Zone sky Wait? Wait, what's the James Bond movie
- 20:12sky What Skyfall? Oh? Yes, sky sky Zone? Is it sky
- 20:18Zone? No, it's called Skyline right? No, what the hell is
- 20:22sky written? Here? Sky's Silver Sky like Silver Springs would be a much
- 20:32better song parody's here we are at Skyfall and I like it. Okay,
- 20:41So we're at this like, first of all, annis is this this po
- 20:48dunk town in the middle of nowhere right right? And then we get to
- 20:55silver Sky and it's like two space, you know, it's like, yeah,
- 21:00gorgeous Ennis, what movie are we in? All of a sudden?
- 21:07Where are we with the lights, the the LEDs, the you know all
- 21:11logo, because that's their logo, is the like the eighties Chrysler logo.
- 21:19You're right and and it's just like what is going on? So that was
- 21:26very very funny to me, And I love that Danvers comes in there and
- 21:30she was all like yeah, Judish and then they're like, oh, bamboozle,
- 21:33you know, we gotcha. And Kate's like, what were you doing
- 21:40on our property? The cave? You can't go in there, Kate vander
- 21:45Pump, She totally Lisa vander Pump of Ennis. How dad, you come
- 21:57into my cave? We blew it so nobody would find it. Yeah,
- 22:07that's the thing I think since the beginning, which is would work well in
- 22:11the dream theory that somehow Danvers doesn't know about what seems to be the two
- 22:18biggest employers in terms of moneymaking machines do, Like she kind of knows what
- 22:25the mind does, but to have no idea what Salal did is until like
- 22:30people were dead, you'd think everyone in that town, it's you know what
- 22:33I mean, Like if it was real, right, you would of course
- 22:37be like, oh, it's a research facility. You wouldn't live in a
- 22:40small ass town like that and not know what that that a little bit about
- 22:45what was going on at Salal. I mean, if anyone who's anyone,
- 22:49I mean everybody knows Salal is doing. They're they're obviously crunching bad numbers for
- 22:56Silver Sky, and they are absolutely searching for the meaning of life and these
- 23:04micro organisms that can be found in caves. Yeah, it's probably like,
- 23:12uh uh you, We're going to give you some cool numbers mining company,
- 23:18and then you look the other way while we are trying to crack this organism.
- 23:25Again, to your point, the yin and yang, you got to
- 23:27do a little dirty work to you gotta be orange in order to be blue.
- 23:32You got to be blue. To be orange. You got to like
- 23:33keep it balanced because and the detectives have the same issue, Like they want
- 23:38to do their jobs. So they're willing to compromise, you know, by
- 23:41giving a junkie some heroin. They're willing to compromise by doing things that they
- 23:47wouldn't normally do in order to get to find out who killed this one person
- 23:51any cave, which at the end of the day, I keep thinking.
- 23:52I mean, it is just one person. Can we all move on,
- 23:56you know, like I mean, I hate to say it, but like
- 23:59you know, well it just goes to show when you think about how many
- 24:02people are killed every single day and no one gives a shit and cases are
- 24:07closed, cold files. You know, nobody follows up. But in edis
- 24:11they care. That should be their travel logo tagling. There's two cops on
- 24:18duty until there's a riot, so those two cops have to pay attention.
- 24:22But when there's a riot, somehow there's an entire police force in that sprinter
- 24:26van. Where did they come from? I don't know, and they think
- 24:30they are, you know, although yeah, a bunch came out, but
- 24:33then for some reason there was only one guy just beating the shit out of
- 24:37everybody. Yeah, and Leah, especially Leah. Yeah, that was crazy.
- 24:44Yeah, and then Navarro took him down. Fully recovered from her prior
- 24:47injuries. No pun intended when I said prior, aha, but she's fully
- 24:53recovered from getting the shit kicked out of her by those guys. But although
- 25:00I will say this is a week wait, it's a week later, right,
- 25:03We're at New Year's Eve, and that was Christmas when she got in
- 25:08the fight. Sorry, my mind is going somewhere right now. Oh yeah,
- 25:14well, I just am thinking about like Leah and if that is her,
- 25:19that's so that's her stepdaughter, Is that right? Yes? Okay,
- 25:23so obviously so she Let's just go back to your koma theory and let's say
- 25:29she's obviously one of the people that are visiting her in the hospital on a
- 25:33regular basis, Okay, And so she's I'm just trying to go back into
- 25:41the scenes with Leah and Danvers and why Danvers is always left alone? Like
- 25:48on home why so who? Yeah, she's leaving. So it's like,
- 25:55why won't you stay here on Thanksgiving? Will you please come back for New
- 25:59Year's Like she wasn't there for Christmas? Please be here for Christmas? Yeah?
- 26:06Oh shit, yeah, I think she's in a coma. She's one
- 26:08hundred yeah no, And that's the way her mind is like seeing it.
- 26:18And you know when she's in the bathtub and she like pulls the curtain,
- 26:22you know, like there's always a separation between the two of them. She
- 26:25puts her in the jail and she doesn't even go and talk to her.
- 26:30Oh that she is in the car with her a lot, though they do
- 26:32have a lot of conversations. I'm just trying to think back to where,
- 26:37you know, how separate it is, so like when we're getting the story
- 26:41told back to us next week for the seventy five minute episode, we're going
- 26:45to see flashes of Leah leaving the hospital being like Merry Christmas, mom,
- 26:53and then being like be back tomorrow, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy New Year's right,
- 26:59you know what I mean, Like we're going to see these and then
- 27:03we're going to see the flash to like her throwing the turk, the turkey
- 27:06in the trash. Yeah, man, I mean this is gonna be pretty
- 27:15heavy. It's heavy dock. Yes, sometimes Jodie Foster. Really, I'm
- 27:22not gonna say Jodie Foster. Danvers has some of the same characteristics as Marty
- 27:27McFly, the same movements since speaking, especially with that uniform on. I
- 27:36know's there's a heavy doc and the bar was like heavy heavy. Why do
- 27:44you keep saying heavy? Everything dance in a coma is okay, I gotta
- 27:48stop anyway. So she would have never been the chief of police, I'm
- 27:53sorry, not the chief of police, the head detective in Ennis, right,
- 27:57she never would have been that don't know when Well, yeah, we
- 28:02don't know did this happen at the wheeler incident? Because oh what had happen
- 28:07with the wheeler incident? Where where it wasn't a murder suicide? Or did
- 28:12Navarro shoot her accidentally? Yeah, so like that's what I don't know.
- 28:18Penn drop, pen drop, And so that would make sense that Navarro shot
- 28:25her. Mm hmm. Oh no, now we're going in a different thing.
- 28:30Well, was always That's why everyone's pointing at Navarro. That's where you
- 28:34thought it was. That was my hunt. Yeah, like maybe that's why
- 28:38we keep going back to this wheeler incident. It didn't go down the way
- 28:41they thought. And here's and Danvers is still in the coma. Oh my
- 28:45god, what if Navarro's the one in the coma? Well I've thought about
- 28:51that too. Your mom is waiting for you. Yeah, the sisters upset.
- 28:56She can't survive without her sister. Yeah, yeah, that's the other
- 29:00thought is like, it's it's if one, if it's a it's three people,
- 29:06it's either Navarro, dan Verse or hang definitely, you know, because
- 29:15he sings so beautifully. You know, you can only sing like that if
- 29:21you're in a coma. Yeah, and thinking about it, Bride's coma,
- 29:26it's the Russian Bride's coma, it's the stuffed rabbit animals coma. That would
- 29:36make sense too. I mean, I I can't. I'm not going to
- 29:38go with a russ cole because you'd have to know about that. You'd have
- 29:42to really know season one. And I don't know if they're going to tie
- 29:47it in like that because I think people who are watching this for the first
- 29:51time will be very, very confused. Right, Okay, so let's limit
- 29:56it. We'll take him. We're gonna limit take him off if I If
- 29:59I can be so bold as too voting him out tonight, he's voting out.
- 30:06He's good tomorrow, He's not going to show up at breakfast, you
- 30:07know. So dan versus on the table and Navarro's on the table. Yeah,
- 30:18pretty equally. I would say either one could be a trader. The
- 30:26praying, you know with Joe with Danvers not believing in God, could be
- 30:33why she's in the in between. She's struggling with that. But see,
- 30:37Navarro does pray, so but does she she because she's kind of vague about
- 30:47what she says she does when she prays. Some of someone's talking to someone
- 30:52in that room about praying and yeah, okay, And also when you just
- 30:57put the title of the show night Country, I mean, like that is
- 31:02a good way to describe your state of mind in a coma. In a
- 31:06coma, I can't believe. I can't believe no one is saying what you're
- 31:10saying. Trust me, I googled it and I can't find it, like
- 31:14I did look on like Reddit and stuff. That's why I like, I
- 31:17feel like I don't know if this is right, Because it is right,
- 31:21it's right. Well, we can just say that it's the idea, it
- 31:26symbolizes a coma, and then we're right. I can't imagine a better way
- 31:33to wrap this up than weird theory. And if it doesn't come out this
- 31:37way, then I'll be disappointed. I think whatever the ending is is not
- 31:42going to be as good as what you just wrote. Yeah, I didn't
- 31:47write this, I mean my thoughts and well, yeah, I just wrote
- 31:52it. How about Okay, So let's let me let me go through a
- 31:59couple of bullet points here. Okay, yep, let's talk about I'm trying
- 32:06to see where I want to go first. All right, let's talk about
- 32:08the morgue, okay, and how how Danvers goes to the morgue to see
- 32:15to recognize all of the stillbursts that are there. Oh right, right right?
- 32:21I thought you meant the opening when Navarro is getting the wire an ice
- 32:30in terms of the cremation, cremation and they have to frozen frozen, Yeah,
- 32:38okay, so I have to wait till everything thaws. I mean,
- 32:43it's got to be that the Danvers isn't in a hypo what is the thermic
- 32:50hypothermia hypothermic state, and this is all happening. She's frozen. Jodie Foster
- 32:57is frozen, and this is all happening while she's frozen. And yeah,
- 33:00she's a she's in a frozen coma. Yeah, she's part of the corpsicle.
- 33:09What if she's part of the corpsicle? Okay, so yeah, okay,
- 33:15So she goes to that morgue and she sees all of these bodies and
- 33:21if she's having this vision in her or do you think that it's Navarro seeing
- 33:30that? Now? I don't know. No, Okay, this just I
- 33:35lost my train of thought. But that happened. So that happened, right,
- 33:37Yeah, she went to them work all right, so that happened.
- 33:42The child in the street points at Navarro. We know that another person always
- 33:46pointing at Navarro, right and only at Navarro, and the person at the
- 33:54wheeler case and the wheeler case pointed at Navarro too. Okay, back to
- 34:00the dream theory. If this is right, perhaps these are all people trying
- 34:05to tell Danvers in her coma that Navarro shot her. M m m m
- 34:08mm hmm. So perhaps yeah, yeah, and then Navarro's trying to cover
- 34:16it up, and Pete cracks the case. Because Pete's such a great detective.
- 34:25As we've seen, he's he's a great detective except for wasn't somebody posting
- 34:31that? Except for he makes his password as kid's birthday. Oh my god,
- 34:36did I die? Oh my god? He's so smart. But it's
- 34:39like Pete's password exclamation point. If Pete's password explain one, two, three
- 34:44four, he makes his password one two, three four. Oh yeah,
- 34:45it was he he cracked opened the phone the iPhone. I was able to
- 34:50crack this iPhone. Oh ah, the same guy made his password one through
- 34:54three four. But okay, so, but I do think in the end,
- 34:59the true detective is Pete Pryor because he's the one that will identify who
- 35:07killed who in the Wheeler case, and it wasn't Wheeler. It was either
- 35:15Danvers mm hmm or Navarro. Right, so one of the cuts. Yeah,
- 35:23but will he actually will he reveal it or will he hold that secret?
- 35:30Mm hmm, like because that's also being compromised in a way that the
- 35:36show seems to want to do. So, ps, do you think Hank
- 35:44killed himself? Was that? Did he draw that fire from Peter? I
- 35:50think he did? Oh yeah, like a deliberate suicide. Yeah, yeah,
- 35:54because he knew that he would protect her. Yeah, what a scumbag?
- 35:59What I fuck? That's the worst thing of all time. Like,
- 36:02I can't imagine a worst parent ever. So I hated that even though,
- 36:10like, yeah, I just hated that so much because it was just like,
- 36:16just shoot yourself. That's hard enough for someone to get over. You're
- 36:20gonna make your kid do it? You psychopath? Psychopath? And also the
- 36:24dirty work of him having to clean it up. I mean when Navarro was
- 36:30like clean good and gave him I know what I'm doing. Yeah, right
- 36:40here you go. This is a trial size. If you like it,
- 36:43we'll get a bigger size you Okay, do you have any refill like any
- 36:52other Costco refills for this or am I just using soap and water here?
- 36:58Like? Yeah, that was actually the only scene where I don't think we
- 37:04really saw orange and blue. Like that scene she's wearing red like there's and
- 37:13it's like blacks and reds. So but yeah, I think and then Navarro
- 37:20has her hair down, which is interesting because then it's really symbolic of these
- 37:24women that you keep seeing, right the sirens, you keep seeing their hair
- 37:30down or in the washer. Yeah, that washer hair. That was some
- 37:35weird stuff. I mean that was gross. Yeah. I was like,
- 37:37oh, I mean, whoa yelsers, someone's extension fell out? Is when
- 37:45I was like summarizing, I mean, it's a public laundromat. I'm sure
- 37:50it's someone's extension from Ennis, you know what I mean? Yeah, absolutely,
- 37:53they don't look too far into that washer. Novarrow for an answer.
- 37:57It's just an extension. It's just an extension, just cliff On. Yeah,
- 38:01that laundrymat could not have had more tide products orange and blue everywhere.
- 38:10You were really looking tonight because I was just like, every time you're in
- 38:15a laundrymat, like it's hard to find detergent around and if it's in like
- 38:21a locked safe. Meanwhile, this place is just like free tide pods.
- 38:25Well any people and it's are trustworthy. How dare you? I mean if
- 38:29they're not like polluting the water, I mean you can trust them in a
- 38:31laundromat. Yes. Also, last time I'm going to do this. What
- 38:37did you notice the snack choice that Peter provided to Leah and the cell pepsi
- 38:45which she said, you know, I hate pepsi and she took it and
- 38:47drank it. Yeah, and you can Oh my god, holy shit.
- 38:52Okay, how are you have perfected your craft? Milady? I'm that wait
- 39:00till I'm so wrong, I can't. I will be very upset. I'll
- 39:05feel like I lost the super Bowl personally. Yeah me too, me too,
- 39:08because I'm really leaning in here. So we'll see. Okay, So
- 39:15we're at the laundromat. Grandma is at the dentist in that other town.
- 39:20There's that one other town like Franklin Lakes or whatever, right Lakes, which
- 39:25is in Jersey, as Caroline Manzill lives. But so she's over at the
- 39:30dentist and that's why, Uh, who's there? Who's Oh it was well,
- 39:37it's Kayla's grandma. Whola was there? Was filling in? Yeah,
- 39:43and yeah, I thought that was I don't know why that was interesting to
- 39:46me, but it was that like, yeah, it didn't It just was
- 39:52okay, like sorry, well, I just thought, like, if you
- 39:57take the dream thing away, there's then there's something else that this means.
- 40:00But I just don't know what it is. I know, because we are
- 40:02like the only thing I can think of is that that space the laundromat maybe
- 40:14is the hospital room or some level of the hospital and you just hear the
- 40:20goings on's and I don't know. I'm just doing make your work. But
- 40:23so, but why was the gramma not there? Oh? Well maybe?
- 40:32Okay? So then all of a sudden, Kavick, Kvid Quavick or whatever
- 40:39his name is shows up with his pal Kenny. Oh, Eddie runs in
- 40:44with that damn rock, Yeah, Eddie and some new guy we don't know,
- 40:47Eddie. Who's Eddie? That's his first name. Quavik's first name is
- 40:52Eddie, isn't it? Oh? I thought, Oh, I didn't know.
- 40:54I thought so, yeah, maybe I just I thought it Quavick was
- 40:58his first name. Okay, cool? So then he brings in his friend
- 41:00Kenny, and he's like, oh, yeah, yeah, I happened to
- 41:05know all about this symbol, like we grew up here. And I'm like
- 41:07thinking, well, how do you know? And not everybody else know,
- 41:12Like it's like hunters knew about this. They used to put this sign on
- 41:15the ice to deter hunters from falling in because they were marking thin ice,
- 41:22and that his you know, his family would say, you'll fall into the
- 41:25night country. You don't want to end up in the ice caves or something
- 41:29like that, right, right, right, right, So here we've got
- 41:34Quavic being like squeaky clean now because I was, I had my eyes on
- 41:37him, but then when they really exposed him for being like a really we
- 41:40were skeptical of him. Last week, I kind of pulled back my skepticism
- 41:44because I thought they're just me misleading us. So then then ohhen Blair walks
- 41:52in. So Blair with the three fingers. Remember from the Blue Crab,
- 41:58Blue Crab and the Siren, the folklore about the mermaid who loses her fingers,
- 42:06Yes, he said nothing, yes, yes, So she's just there
- 42:09like looking all suspicious with her three fingers, and you're like, well,
- 42:13what do you do? Say something? You know, you see something,
- 42:15say something, and she's just like, I gotta get my laundry free tide
- 42:21pods and then you know, you know, she leaves. So it's just
- 42:23a weird scene and what else. So that's that. Oh wait, let
- 42:32me talk about let's talk about Julia's cremation at the beginning. And then she
- 42:37goes to put her in the ice as like a burial, and Rose is
- 42:40there, and at that point I'm thinking, Okay, Rose does not exist
- 42:44because there's no damn way that she was going to have Rose, you know,
- 42:46cut a hole in the ice. This is an older woman who,
- 42:50like you, were in war. Why aren't you doing that? Yeah,
- 42:54so that was interesting to me too. And I didn't know if that was
- 42:59like a ceremonial thing where Rose is like, here, let me do this
- 43:05for you or something. I don't know what that was about. It's like
- 43:07she knew where in the ice was the exact spot that would be safe where
- 43:12you could reach the ocean water without falling through. So she was going to
- 43:16do it, I guess. I don't know, but it was weird that
- 43:19she was right. And also that's where Peter needs to take the bodies to
- 43:25Rose and where the spot she put Julia in. So that's that was the
- 43:34That was the orders when Navarro left Peter at the last scene, So same
- 43:38spot and Rose is going to be involved. And that's what made me think
- 43:43Rose is real because now they're calling her by name and in between characters and
- 43:50talking about her, and Peter understood what to do. Yeah, Peter's like,
- 43:52oh, you know, he didn't say, there's fucking no Rose,
- 43:57babe. Rose doesn't exist. I don't who is this Rose character that you're
- 44:01talking about. And you know, dan Versus wasn't like irrational question between normal
- 44:07wroges, like stop talking about so that to mean fuck your fucking weather roche.
- 44:19Remember that outburst. Yeah, yeah that was I love an outburst.
- 44:28But yeah she didn't. No one put up a fight about taking that like
- 44:30Rose is the cleaner, you know, right, Yeah, I wonder what
- 44:35that is. It's very weird. Yeah, I can't put that all together
- 44:42yet, can't do it even under the microscope. If Danvers is dead,
- 44:49what would that mean? It's just that Rose is. It doesn't even need
- 44:55to make sense. Really, I don't think Danvers is dead. I think
- 45:00she's in the in between. I'm sorry. I don't mean dead. I
- 45:02apologize. I'm at coma. Yeah, yeah, I just am trying to
- 45:07get it right. It's hard. I'm trying to keep up with you.
- 45:16Yeah, okay. Oh. She A Navarro at the protest saw another hallucination
- 45:24of Annie Kay that turned into fire. Oh the image went away and it
- 45:32was like she was in front of it was the fire barrel behind her.
- 45:37Oh that's right. Yeah, fire and ice. I know Game of Thrones,
- 45:44baby, Yeah, and those really fancy fireplaces that people call fire and
- 45:47eyes with like those they look like ice cubes, those pebbles, and they're
- 45:52super It's just not my style, you know what I mean. Yeah,
- 45:54it feels like a vibe. Yeah, it feels like we're going to see
- 46:00those in Ariyan Murphy John in forty years and be like, oh my god,
- 46:05remember the fire and ice fireplaces? So cool? How about when Pete
- 46:12gets kicked out for like everybody on Reddit I was laughing, This is another
- 46:17thread about Pete getting kicked out. His wife is like, you know,
- 46:22it's been maybe ten days since he's been on the biggest case that's ever happened
- 46:27in Ennis, and she's just so mad. You know, like her kicking
- 46:30him out was very ridiculous, and then for Danvers to be like, don't
- 46:37be even more stupid, correct to Hank, here's my keys to my cold
- 46:40shit. And then he goes to the shed that has nothing in there and
- 46:45it's freezing. I that was confusing to me too. I was like,
- 46:50surely there's a space heater, but they may look for space any of that.
- 46:54Nothing. Very reminiscent of the more I will say, boy, now
- 47:04you've done it, have I because I don't even know. I don't know
- 47:07what you've done. I don't know you're doing it. Oh my god.
- 47:15Slab avalanche. Slab avalanche is what Connolly says. That's the case is closed,
- 47:24and those scientists died from a slab avalanche. And well, now I
- 47:30did read something about this. The director of Oh the Detlove Pass in Russia.
- 47:37Yes, you read it too, Yes, So this was kind of
- 47:42based on a real circumstance. The avalanche and the results of the solal lab
- 47:49guys is similar to something that happened in the fifties, Yeah, nineteen fifty
- 47:53nine in Russia. Yeah, right, And so the director was kind of
- 47:58a little bit obsessed with that story and worked it into this, but there
- 48:04are a lot of people that don't know if that was actually the avalanche.
- 48:08Like there's a lot of you know, conspiracy and thoughts around that. So
- 48:14it's not saying like that could happen necessarily or that's what happened here, but
- 48:17that, I guess was the launching point for this. Yes, and another
- 48:22case as well, which was not an avalanche, but it took place at
- 48:25sea is Danvers. Everybody, hold on one second, okay, I that
- 48:35was the they're spraying for fruit flies again, those weird fruit flies that have
- 48:37taken over orange, their orange taking over the orange trees. Yes, okay,
- 48:45okay. So there was another case that happened, I think in the
- 48:47eighteen hundreds where it was a boat that was found completely abandoned and as well
- 48:55as the whatever boats that you would take out what we would call tenders now
- 49:02you know life rafts if you will, but whatever they use back in the
- 49:06day on her toys. Yeah, the banana was missing. I don't know.
- 49:10It was really weird conspiracy theory. Uh And so yeah, they and
- 49:19so that's a mystery too. And I'm thinking, well, obviously just went
- 49:22in these boats and they probably all just sunk, but it is something that
- 49:27I think that she's referenced as well as a mystery on the sea. Yeah,
- 49:35okay, so we're Yeah, she is weaving in some but I don't
- 49:40think that those are necessarily I think those were just motivations for the show to
- 49:46show something that could have different answers. But I don't know those incidents,
- 49:53Like, I don't know how much it's worth researching those incidents. But maybe
- 49:57I'm wrong, like an answer, yeah, you're asking the right questions.
- 50:02So now Connelly is saying the case is closed. I know what happened on
- 50:07the Wheeler case. And so she, you know, she and Navarro have
- 50:12a very you know, intense conversation and yeah that was they for sure.
- 50:31She's like, oh shit, okay, And then of course Pete comes in
- 50:37and he's like, hey, I've connected these two things. Tuttle the mind,
- 50:44sollution, salal, so on and so forth. Also, I don't
- 50:51even remember how they got into the Wheeler case. Oh I know, because
- 50:54duh. She's like, how did they find out how to kindly find out
- 51:00about Wheeler? Did you tell your dad or something like that. So it's
- 51:04like he's in his computer and he was able to find well, yeah,
- 51:08he must have been able to. Is Hank that good of a detective that
- 51:12he would be able to actually piece together what Peter was trying to piece together.
- 51:15I have a lot of like a hard time believing that he was able
- 51:19to do that, because it's not like he was, well, maybe he
- 51:22was like, dear Diary. You know. My theory is that Navarro actually
- 51:27shot Wheeler. You know, I think Pete was. I think Pete is
- 51:32that naive that he would put those kinds of notes in his computer and think
- 51:38that no one will see it. Okay, all right, well I guess
- 51:42we have to believe that. Yeah, and then Hank put it all together.
- 51:47I guess very quickly, very quickly. Who would have thought. And
- 51:52he's like, I'm no killer to Kate, and he wants to be the
- 51:54chief. He wants to be I'm sorry, the head detective in that town
- 51:58so badly. And she's like it's just not what it used to be because
- 52:01he was supposed to get it. Yeah, right, and the bureaucracy,
- 52:07like Kate can no longer control it. It sounds like so in terms of
- 52:12getting Hank the lead job. So and it sounds like she's like we gave
- 52:19you the money and he said it's gone. So that's probably what he was
- 52:21sending his Russian bride. Oh hell yeah, yeah, how funny would it
- 52:25be? Like let's say Dan versus in the coma and she wakes up and
- 52:30everyone that's in the room, it's like, you know, Leah the grandmother.
- 52:40Pete Pryor is like next to his dad. His dad is the the
- 52:45head is the head detective, and he's standing there with his Russian bride and
- 52:51like they're really nice. Like can we get ourselves like a Wizard of oz
- 52:54ending? Yeah, yes, yes, a Wizard of oz ending. Oh
- 52:59my god, that's exactly right. Okay, okay, I'm with you.
- 53:04I think we would have had more greens, but maybe i'm wrong in red
- 53:08sequence yeah, red rubies, I mean not sequence. Yeah, red rubies,
- 53:16greens, not so much oranges and blues. But again, could be
- 53:22wrong. Did you also notice in the Laundroymount out of nowhere there was a
- 53:27girl with orange chair, Like I mean it was like a naturally orange,
- 53:30like long redhead orange chair. Really no, I didn't know, yeah,
- 53:36because I was like, for a hot second, I was like, oh,
- 53:38Patti Scalfa, No, that's Bruce Springsteen's White Oh thank you okay,
- 53:44yes she has orange chair. Yes, thank you for this episode. We
- 53:47only say thank you in memory. Okay. His song was good, though,
- 53:53wasn't it? It was excellent And he's a real musician apparently. Well
- 53:58I looked him up and he doesn't have that's not his thing, Like,
- 54:06oh I thought I heard that. Oh okay, oh, maybe I'm wrong.
- 54:08But on I looked at his Wikipedia page. He was in Deadwood.
- 54:14But I don't know if it is a SoundCloud, you know what. I
- 54:16didn't look at his soundstop. I went as far as to see so now
- 54:22it's George Bush, George W. Bush. Hush. Now I thought I
- 54:30was like, did he sing this song for True Blood? And then I
- 54:34know he has that same vibe totally yeah. And then when I when I
- 54:37saw that he didn't do that, then I was like, oh, he's
- 54:40not a musician. So in fairness, maybe I didn't really look that far.
- 54:44I don't think you yeah, that's well. Look, you're no Pete
- 54:49prior today, but you were yesterday. No, you figured everything out except
- 54:53Hank's musical career. I think we can give you a pass on that,
- 54:57Emily, Okay, I think we're a okay with you and okay, well,
- 55:04jeez, I feel like is there anything left to say? I am
- 55:07so in love with your coma theory. Now, I just need to decide
- 55:13who it is. I mean, I it has to be Danvers in my
- 55:15opinion, it's got to be Danvers, and that Navarro is the one that
- 55:27I'm sorry now I'm back. Yeah, maybe they're both in a coma.
- 55:30I mean, could be. Yeah, it could be. Uh that would
- 55:38be weird. Yeah, I can't I go back and forth who it is
- 55:45because also, like like to your point about your mom says, come to
- 55:51Navarro and she keeps getting called into the distance. So m hmm, yeah,
- 55:55there's that, and then the pointing, you know, it would make
- 56:00sense if they both right, they both are they both got hurt in whatever
- 56:08accident. Yeah, that they would both be in a coma. That would
- 56:14make sense, and maybe the you know, they could condense it down and
- 56:20compress the time so much that literally between the if they fell into the ice,
- 56:27that between transporting them from the ambulance to the hospital. No, no,
- 56:34no, because that I was gonna say, then they woke up,
- 56:37but I mean she's awake, is exactly what you say about someone who's in
- 56:44a fucking coma and they wake up. I think they're waking up. Yeah,
- 56:50she's making gestures or something, and people are getting excited. Yeah,
- 56:57and they're saying listen, and then have you did you notice the listen?
- 57:01Oh? Yeah, yeah. But then but then it could also then to
- 57:09your Navarro point, Eddie or the bartender. Her last scene with him,
- 57:15he tells her to come back like three times. So they're both in a
- 57:22coma. They're both in a coma. They are both in a coma.
- 57:29Yeah, Oh my gosh, I mean, and then we got eagle eye
- 57:34Cherry at the end. That was weird. That was crazy. Everyone had
- 57:39a problem with that. Everyone had a real problem with that. Yeah,
- 57:44everybody's like, it's not worth waking up about this coma. Yeah, there
- 57:51was. There was a lot of symbolism to I mean, not just like
- 57:54it was weird that Otis was wearing a blue New York jersey, Like that
- 58:00was weird to me. I couldn't figure that out. I noticed that Kate
- 58:05looked so much when she's in the scene with Hank in the truck. She
- 58:08looked so much like Fiona shaw I e rose that it was almost confusing,
- 58:15Like if Fiona Shaw weren't in the show, I'd be like, wow,
- 58:20she looks like Fiona Shaw right now. The fact that Fiona Shaw is in
- 58:22the show and Kate's the lighting inside the truck when she's talking to Hank and
- 58:27she like has her head in a certain way, I was like, is
- 58:30this intentional? Corn there, aren't it? Your theory explains everything away,
- 58:37and if we really do lean into i mean, these two cops they were
- 58:45apart and now they're together all the time. Yeah, right, right,
- 58:52and technically not in the same agency, right or in the same like force,
- 58:58but they all both have those APF patches, but right, but one's
- 59:01a trooper and yeah, and yeah, it's all confusing. I mean,
- 59:07yeah, you know, I don't know. There's just and there's so much
- 59:12symbolism between the two of them and the paths and working together. So the
- 59:19question is if you want to really just pass on with yeah, yeah,
- 59:24ask the right questions. I mean, that's why Dan okay segue, That's
- 59:30why Dan Versus is getting so mad at Pete because she's almost like, you're
- 59:37you're onto this mm hmm. She's she's basically the only thing she can do
- 59:43is say, is ask the right questions to her because she's just laying there.
- 59:46So maybe she's twitching. Maybe she's twitching when he is asking her questions,
- 59:54and it's he's like, twitch your right finger if if this is right,
- 59:58you know, and she's like mm hmmm, and then it's like she's
- 1:00:00saying, no, that's not it. So ask the right questions so I
- 1:00:05can ask me the right question, so well as er no question, yes,
- 1:00:07yeah, ask me the correct yes or no question, so I can
- 1:00:10tell you what's Yeah, you're not asking the right questions. You're not asking
- 1:00:15the right questions. But to that end, he did ask the right question.
- 1:00:19Did you know that Wheeler was left handed? And she says no,
- 1:00:24yeah, that I didn't understand. Okay, so somebody else went in and
- 1:00:29reversed all the photos, which must have been in a borrow. Oh so
- 1:00:35if they both got hurt, which I can't, I can't imagine they didn't
- 1:00:40get hurt from the ice. And at the same time, however, is
- 1:00:49it possible that they got hurt in two different ways, that somebody got hurt
- 1:00:59Maybe Wheeler shot Danvers and then Navarro shot Wheeler. No, because that would
- 1:01:06be excused, there would be no there would be no investigation, and why
- 1:01:09it would be dirty coppying. Okay, so forget that. But what if
- 1:01:15Danvers died in some way with the I'm I'm sorry. I keep saying died,
- 1:01:19got hurt some way with the ice, but Navarro didn't get hurt until
- 1:01:22later and she's Nope, that doesn't make sense. They had to have had
- 1:01:27an incident together where they both ended up in a coma, and maybe it
- 1:01:31was at the very beginning of investigating the salal thing. That wouldn't make sense
- 1:01:38either, because then it wouldn't explain the kid thing, and it had to
- 1:01:43have happened. I think it happened prior. I think that's why I was
- 1:01:50intended. Oh my god. Maybe that's a little nod is that their names
- 1:01:55are prior because things happened prior to Maybe it's interesting not not a not a
- 1:02:04thing that the character created, but the direct you know, the writer to
- 1:02:07like plant the seed. But you know that Ferris Bueller on the Loop,
- 1:02:15like that's something that kind of does happen when you're dreaming, like you incorporate
- 1:02:20things that weirdly like that. So I think that whatever happened happened, she
- 1:02:27was I think the season started and this is all in her coma. Yeah,
- 1:02:31I agree. I agree with you lived experiences that she's reliving or being
- 1:02:37told about and incorporating details and solving Yeah m hm. So ironically. Guess
- 1:02:49when this came to me want a dream last night? And I'm not you
- 1:02:52kidding? Stop it? Yeah, And then I woke up and I was
- 1:02:55like, actually, that would make sense if she was in a coma.
- 1:03:00Wait, so tell your dream. Oh my god, are we in a
- 1:03:02dream? Am I in a coma? Oh my god? Are weena coma?
- 1:03:07Are you? Are we? Navarro and Danvers? Oh my god,
- 1:03:13what is it happening? Am I actually turning fifty this week? Oh my
- 1:03:24god? The Orange? It makes so much sense because we recap Real Housewives.
- 1:03:30We were talking about oh c we were Oh god, John Jansen and
- 1:03:34Shannon never broke up. Oh thank god, Oh thank god. I'm so
- 1:03:37happy about this. WHOA, that was a close one. Mauricio and Kyle
- 1:03:42are still together. Larsa and Marcus, Larsa and Marcus. That was when
- 1:03:47I that gossip hit yesterday, and all I could think of was Larsa being
- 1:03:52like, how do you know how do you know, like the way she
- 1:03:57Gernie, yeah, Marcus and followed you, LARSA, how do you know?
- 1:04:02Well? Ian followed summer Moon, he unfollowed Sheenanigan's and he and followed
- 1:04:09you. Please give us a clearer Larsa, do you know? How do
- 1:04:15you know? Wait? And I can't do that. I don't know.
- 1:04:16That was it? No? That honeina yah. And someone's like the fact
- 1:04:25that they have to see each other at the Traders reunion. I guarantee you
- 1:04:29Marcus won't show up, No, he will. He's thirsty. Marcus is
- 1:04:31showing up again. He's the Marcus Jordan of getting Michael Jordan's attention, So
- 1:04:35he will be at that Traders. Everyone's like, can you believe that he
- 1:04:40happens to be with his father yesterday? I'm like, it's a super Bowl,
- 1:04:43Like of course they're together. Like questions, all right, let's go
- 1:04:48back, let's go back before we wrap this up. But I don't remember
- 1:04:54what the question was, What is up? What is I don't know.
- 1:05:00I think that's it. I think we got to stop. No, what
- 1:05:03was your dream? You were gonna tell me what your dream was? Tell
- 1:05:06me my dream? You're very, very basic in that it was like,
- 1:05:11you got to remember tomorrow when you wake up to tell everyone that Dan versus
- 1:05:16in a coma. She's having a fever dream. This is a fever dream.
- 1:05:20This is gonna be like Kevin Finnerty and sopranos. And then I argued
- 1:05:24with myself and I was like, there's no way they're gonna do a like
- 1:05:29when Tony soprano. It's iconically a weird, bad episode. I was like,
- 1:05:33there's no way like Newhart, No, they're not gonna Like I'm arguing
- 1:05:36with myself and then I was like, I'm telling you, she's in a
- 1:05:41coma, she's sleeping. Look how clearly you're putting it together and you're sleep
- 1:05:45That's how she's putting it together. I was like, that was my dream.
- 1:05:47I was having that conversation. Oh my god, that's amazing. I
- 1:05:51wow, Wow. I took a very strong gummy. I will also add
- 1:05:57before wonderful opened up areas of your brain. The truth, maybe, Detective,
- 1:06:05the truth, Detective? Was it a darling gummy? I wish?
- 1:06:12I am. I literally did not expect this today. I am so impressed.
- 1:06:20I'm blown away. I feel like, even no matter what happens,
- 1:06:25next week. I'm going to be satisfied with your ending and what we put
- 1:06:30together today. I am in love with this. I won't be disappointed at
- 1:06:35all if she's if she's in a coma, if one person's in a coma,
- 1:06:39or if both, or if it's just the whole thing symbolizes it too.
- 1:06:45Like I don't know, I don't know, but yeah, I will
- 1:06:47say I do not agree now with the theory of orange and blue being good
- 1:06:53and even no, not agree with that. No, no, that was
- 1:06:56just fun for the ride, and that was a good theory, laying layering
- 1:07:00of you know, interesting. But I but you're you're just popping off in
- 1:07:05every area today, nailing it head to toe. And I think like with
- 1:07:11the color theory being that it is a yin and yang, it is a
- 1:07:14fire and ice, it is a balancing of good and evil, and that
- 1:07:16is well right, right, right, But I don't think. I guess
- 1:07:19what I'm saying is it doesn't describe a character to be good or bad exactly.
- 1:07:25Yes, yes, wow, wow. I mean I don't know if
- 1:07:32I can wait a week to get back to Ennis, I don't know,
- 1:07:35but I I don't know. I just feel lucky to be in your presence.
- 1:07:42I just feel happy because I was coming in today with like, I
- 1:07:45can't believe this episode took a turn for more the reality based storyline and are
- 1:07:53we just going to get rid of all of the supernatural themes and theories and
- 1:07:58influences in this because because now we're not even mentioning it, We're not mentioning
- 1:08:01at all, and and you know, like, why are it bothered me
- 1:08:06so much? We came back in and are we to believe that they wouldn't
- 1:08:11investigate why Navarro's ears were bleeding, which was an actual symptom of the other
- 1:08:17victims, including Otis and some of the corpsicles. That was part of what
- 1:08:25happened to them. And that was such a dreamlike scene because you're you've got
- 1:08:32a tree, the Christmas tree, like if youre tree is going to be
- 1:08:36in that hospital room, right, or just being talked about on a generator
- 1:08:42being run on a generator in like it just there was so much going on
- 1:08:46there that like, you're right, we didn't revisit any of it. That's
- 1:08:51bizarre. Okay. I know we keep saying we're gonna wrap up, but
- 1:08:56let me just say one more thing. If they wake up and they say
- 1:09:01she's awake with the wounds that both otis had and survived. Where someone's going
- 1:09:10to be blind and someone is definitely going to be blind. Someone's going to
- 1:09:14be blind, yes, yes, because that is just too common. Someone's
- 1:09:21going to be missing fingers and someone's going to be blind. And that's why
- 1:09:27and her ears would have maybe been bleeding in real life. That's why they
- 1:09:31were bleeding there. But that Christmas tree mark your words will be in the
- 1:09:36will be uh when you when they wake up in the hospital room, You're
- 1:09:42going to see that special toothpaste there. Somebody brought up the SpongeBob. Yeah,
- 1:09:47you're going to see that Christmas tree. You're going to see polar but
- 1:09:54the Polar bear Stuffy mm hmm. You're gonna see see that funny stuffy.
- 1:10:00Hank's bunny. Yeah, Hank brought them somebody bunny he brought He waited at
- 1:10:05the plane for the bride with that bunny. Yeah, she never showed,
- 1:10:10right, you might see that bunny that well. Hank may have brought it
- 1:10:15to see them. Yeah right, Yeah, you're right. You're gonna see
- 1:10:20a lot of stuff. It's all gonna come together, Okay, it's got
- 1:10:27to it's we got one episode left. Let's make a count America. Okay,
- 1:10:34I'm really excited about this, really jazzed. I am jazzed up.
- 1:10:41Okay, yeah, sound off in the comments with your theories. Volume up,
- 1:10:45guys on this one. Yeah, because uh whereas Mark Wahlberg says,
- 1:10:50prayer up, Oh my god, that was so the most so many religious
- 1:10:55commercials last night, you know, good Lord, and then all of a
- 1:11:00sudden he's like, hey, pray with me, you know, pray with
- 1:11:02me, Hey, lou all right, Flint, I'm like, okay,
- 1:11:11well, I'm giving up Mark Wahlberg for Lent. Oh I'm I'm gonna not.
- 1:11:16I'm gonna not. I'm gonna take up Mark Wahlberg for Lent. That's
- 1:11:19what I'm gonna do. Here you go, Sirens, Sedna, oranges.
- 1:11:27Okay, okay, all right, okay, we gotta we gotta cut and
- 1:11:32run. We love you guys for bearing with us. Really feel like we
- 1:11:36did something today. I really feel like two true Darling detectives. I mean,
- 1:11:41I'm only I'm on your coattails, you know what i mean. I'm
- 1:11:44just riding your coattails. I'm in the passenger seat. Taking notes. No,
- 1:11:47but like you were very hot. We got we got to a lot
- 1:11:49of places together. And again, darlings, app sound off. Let us
