- 0:00[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, big ol' Major, and plays a rana brings up.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_09]: Poison rana.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_09]: Hello, hello, Davey Portman here from Poison rana and post wrestling, and I am joined on this beautiful Texas morning with the AEW Women's Champion, Timeless Tony Storm.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, hello, hello.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: How are you?
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm great.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: How are you?
- 0:23[SPEAKER_09]: I'm very good.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_09]: Now it's all in.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_09]: You had a huge match in Wembley last year.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_09]: Very personal feud.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_09]: This year it's all about the gold.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_09]: You've got six, seven, eight belts, Monet against yourself, the champion with the main title, with the AEW Women's title.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_09]: How is preparing for this match any different from a feud as personal as yours with Mariah last year?
- 0:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's much the same.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: I prepare for war either way.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: Either way, it's going to be a pain in my backside.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: Either way, it's going to be a very violent time.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: So yes, as much as it was personal, as it was with Mariah May, I guess it is still quite personal.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: She's trying to take the one thing that means anything to me in this world, like some kind of sticker collection.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: She wants us around with all these belts, don't know the name of them, don't care.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_01]: This is the only one that matters.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I mean, I'm insulted by it to be honest.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: This is all I am to her.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's just another trophy for her shell, just another sticker for her sticker book.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: I for one cannot stand it.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: This is my baby.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: This is my pride and joy.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: She will not get her sticky little fingers anywhere near it.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_09]: perfect.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_09]: Now, I've been following your career quite a while from the Electric Ballroom in Camden.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, yes.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_09]: May young classic right through to AEW.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_09]: Now, you've evolved over these years.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_09]: And when we first saw the timeless evolution of yourself with the the vineyards and stuff, how
- 1:55[SPEAKER_09]: How do you adapt that to match your in-ring work?
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing's changed.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_09]: Nothing's changed.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's changed.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you've all sat and watched as I have evolved into the woman that I am.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: You saw me as the little girl in the electric ballroom.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: Lovely.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: Now I am quite the woman.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, the performance, so it's gone better and better.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing's changed.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sort of the same as I've always been.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_09]: Now, I'm a lover of movies as well as I can see you are.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_09]: Last year's feud with Marae May had these similarities with a film called All About Eve, a classic Hollywood movie.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_09]: I'm sure.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_09]: But are there any films you love that if you were to have a feud with someone else?
- 2:41[SPEAKER_09]: might follow a similar path as those go stars and who would you like to be your best supporting actress to go on with supporting actresses you saw what happened to mean with with Ms.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: Murat Mariamé and you look how that ended for me quite a horrendous time I was lucky to survive it but no I don't I don't advocate for any kind of supporting actress anymore everyone the she blew it didn't she absolutely blew it I don't trust anybody
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: So no, there will be no supporting actors.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll be no under study.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not hiring.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: No one can recreate this.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: So you know, we've just have to deal with the original.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_09]: Now you are actually on a film set this year with Queen of the Ring.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_09]: How are the differences of working on a movie set with film directors and working in a wrestling production?
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: Minutes all the same, except in a wrestling production, I am the director.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: So, we'll just leave it in.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_09]: Now, as I mentioned, being following your career quite a while, we both covered the May Young Classic way back when.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_09]: One of the best women's matches of that year, one of the best matches of the year was yourself against Microsoft and Mora, who retired this year.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_09]: How was it facing a legend like that?
- 3:57[SPEAKER_09]: What did you take away?
- 3:58[SPEAKER_09]: What did you learn from a legend like Microsoft and Mora?
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: What did I take away?
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: Probably a concussion.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: Did you see what she did next?
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but you know what I deserved it.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: I was, you know, I was just a little girl at the time.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: I absolutely deserved that asked for being that that woman gave me.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: She's an absolute legend, make her a starter more and I think that respect really put me in my place so as she taught me pain.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: She taught me pain and how to deal with it.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: Now, nothing hurts.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks to her.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing's ever hurt since.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: So, uh, you know, well, that's good to take into this matter.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: It's a learning experience of I can survive that woman.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: I can definitely survive.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: Ms.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: Monet.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: Mad respect for her.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: Make her lovely.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_09]: Are there any Silver Screen Starlets you look up to?
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't look up to anyone.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_01]: How dare you ask me that?
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: People look up to me and it doesn't go any other way.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's just how it is.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a fan of anyone.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: I would have been a fan of me and that's how it goes.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_09]: Now, we've seen you drinking some of the bubbly as celebrations often.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_09]: Wonderful.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_09]: And I myself, I'm a bartender in downtown Toronto.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_09]: I quite like creating cocktails based on wrestlers.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_09]: Now, I know you're finishing the Storm Zero as a resemblance to the Strong Zero in Japan.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_09]: A very nice, strong beverage over there.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_09]: Now, if we were to have a Tony Storm cocktail, what would it be called?
- 5:19[SPEAKER_09]: And what would it be?
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh that's a good one.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: What are you thinking Mr Bartender?
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think it would be full of a lot of vodka.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: There'd be a lot of vodka involved.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: What do we I would do we like through tell we go to a citrus woman citrus.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: I love a bit of citrus.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, yes, so vodka some some fresh orange juice.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, in my go to was always up with like there was no strong zero was a screw driver a screwdriver.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: They would really take me out and I you know, I'm not even so sure it was the alcohol.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was just if anyone consumed that amount of orange juice then yeah, you know, you are going to throw up like that.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_09]: So screwdriver, how about a little splashes jam board to class things up the best?
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're going on there.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: Give me a bit of a pot.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: Bit of a zin.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_09]: And what are we calling the Tony storm?
- 6:06[SPEAKER_09]: Timest twist.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's all right.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: Final twist, darling.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: I like it.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_09]: Now, any final comments before we go into all in, a big match.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_09]: How are you feeling?
- 6:17[SPEAKER_09]: Are we the same nerves as last year?
- 6:20[SPEAKER_09]: No nerves at all.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: Confidence, darling.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: If I could have any message, it'd be to my opponent, Ms.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: Monet.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: Watch it.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: You're about to go down.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: Any more funny business, and you'll never be seen again.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: So tread carefully.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_09]: And sorry, I do have one more.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_09]: What do we expect from the fans?
- 6:40[SPEAKER_09]: I, as you can hear, I'm British.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_09]: I lived in London, went to Camden all the time.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_09]: Now in Canada, in Toronto, and now we're going to have a Texas crowd.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_09]: What are the differences we're feeling from a Texas audience to a Canadian audience?
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we, you've seen the Texans.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: They're a wild bunch.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very excited to go and meet them all on Saturday.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: Saturday afternoon.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: We, uh, we kick off what time do we kick off?
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: Dozer at twelve.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: We kick off at three.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_09]: A two-PM, I believe, but we'll double check these things.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: If anyone will be up and lively, everyone will be in full spirit.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking forward to meeting shaking hands with all of the Texans.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_01]: They're a lively bunch, and I'm just so honored to be fighting for my life in Texas.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_09]: Tony, thank you very much.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not going to wish you good luck, but break a leg.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Ian.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_09]: Take care.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: You too, darling.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you very much.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_07]: Hello there, bring Harrington from Post Wrestling and Poison Rana here in Arlington, Texas with Mark Brisco.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_07]: I would go on.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_07]: I would go on.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_07]: We are ready for all in this weekend and Mark, are you ready for all in?
- 7:53[SPEAKER_07]: Are y'all in?
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, y'all is in.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm ready for all in.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be a good old dime down here.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: Texas, he's all.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: Are you going to work MJF's?
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to move MJF's as to the point of near obliteration.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I probably don't want to catch a charge down here in Texas.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: A murder one or nothing like that.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm going to beat that man.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: But then the interview is like probably took them to the eyeballs, pop out of the head.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I might poke that eyeball back into the head, kicking my ass.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's just, the pain that my inflict on this man, I really wouldn't wish it upon anybody who didn't deserve it, but he does deserve it.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: So you know, it's one of the things where it just, you know what goes around coming around.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_07]: Well, you say he deserves it, you know, watching AW for the last little while.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_07]: MJF is known to make things a little personal, and obviously he made things very personal with you, bringing up your brother, Jay Brisco.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_07]: What does that like?
- 8:47[SPEAKER_07]: It doesn't make your blood boil.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_07]: Like, how does that say?
- 8:49[SPEAKER_07]: How do you react to that?
- 8:50[SPEAKER_00]: See, the thing about it is I knew without beyond a shadow of a doubt, where he was going to say something about my brother.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: Because he always goes for the low hanging fruit.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: Because he can't, he has no creativity.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: He always just goes for the most simplest obvious things that
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: that it's going to piss somebody off.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: And that's fine.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: I knew he was going to do that.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: But I think I underestimated his just his craftiness in the way that he approached the the insult that he delivered during the talkie talk on Wednesday night.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: You know, in one way, I'm just, if it wasn't for the rage and the just wanting to just tear his head off, I'm just slightly impressed at how he was able because I was right, I was all week long.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: All right, what's he going to say about Jeff?
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he was going to dog Jay and kind of run him into the ground.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: What's that?
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: What a course that would have warranted.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: and asked what been of effort proportions on his own, but you know, just the way that little weasel, a little curly-headed weasel, the way that he, man.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to ask what we're coming that are.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's as woman that he should have had years ago because maybe he won't be such a miserable human being if he had an ass.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: The way that I'm going with his ass, if it had happened years ago, maybe it would have re-directed him onto a better path in this life.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I know Jay's going to be smiling watching you kick his ass in Arlington, Texas, but I've been a long time lover of the brisco brothers.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_07]: My my my days back in Toronto going to the sweaty Ted Reeves arena.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_07]: I watched you too.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_07]: What pass all through the arena?
- 10:40[SPEAKER_07]: And I love going back and watching your stuff through Ring of Honor.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_07]: And I think since AWS Ring of Honor being kind of this whole unit and things, I think your matches from the past maybe new fans have gone and now like search through them and stuff because you have endless amounts of classics of bangers.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_07]: And I just off the top of your head, any matches through your career specific ones.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_07]: I know you've had the trilogy with FTR, but like all through the years, there's some hidden gems in your tag team
- 11:09[SPEAKER_07]: Like, yeah.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, just thinking to Ted Reeve, Chris Hero, Claudia Ocasio-Noli.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: That was, I mean, we had a bunch of matches with the Kings of Wrestling, Chris Hero, Claudia Ocasio-Noli, but the one up at Ted Reeve and David, or specifically, that one was, that was a fun one there for sure.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the stuff back in, two thousand seven with Kevin Steein and Alginarco, like those were,
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: really fun matches, you know, the matches with the, with the motor sitting machine guns, those matches were, were, were real cool.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_00]: We had a bar room brawl with madman Pondo in Necro butcher down in FIP in Florida.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: And that match was, that sounds crazy.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: Oh man, it was amazing.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: We had whatever barbed wire like two trash cans on that at end of the match.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: To end the match, Jay had stacked up two tables, put madman ponder on the top of the second table, written front of the big garage door, and he pulled the garage door up, and I'm standing on top of the truck on the other side, and jumping into two tables, one, two, three.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's funny, because if I like thinking back, like the all-nighters press, Kenny King erectitis, we had matches with them, a ladder match with them, we had a bloody matching that laying over them.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: It really is, like, and then all the matches with the young bucks, good Lord.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: We were like, we were roughly young bucks a million times.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: We were roughly young bucks in Tokyo and Australia and London, the rest of them in every city in the United States.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, just...
- 12:51[SPEAKER_07]: It's a lot of magic to tag team legends one of the best tag team to ever to do it absolutely but now you're single star what's that like you know all those years ago you must have had some singles matches to the years but now you're you're you're all singles and you're all guns blazing what's what has the difference for you and it's well I tell you the main thing is
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: I had to learn to pace myself because, you know, when I want to tag out and get a breather and no tagging out and getting a breather.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like the pace in the cadence of the match.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost like you got to be more strategic where tag team action, me and my brother, we were just guns blazing.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: I just like the guns blazing calls out of ammo and I tag out and he's like the guns blazing while I'm over there reloading.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: So it is, it really is kind of a different pace than a different
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: a different tempo, but I'm starting to get the hang of it, starting to get the hang of it.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's a couple of, you know, I consider myself a brand new rookie a couple of years ago after Jay passed and I was, it was, it was my rookie year as a singles guy.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_00]: And now it's just what year number three.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, I'm starting to get a better grasp of it and I think that anybody and everybody who's got singles go, they better look out because
- 14:11[SPEAKER_07]: you said something that you were you were doing some crazy spots with that garage thing that you just mentioned is there any other crazy things you've done a wrestling that sometimes you go why did what did I just do what did I just do you said like jump whether you're jumping off something going through tables like I know you've done some crazy things to your career I mean I mean there is a lot you know there's a lot is a I tell you when I used to do
- 14:36[SPEAKER_00]: I said, have a should start oppressing my repertoire and I would, yeah, I would do it to the to the floor and then and so back when I was younger I was so
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, confident, but almost overly confident in my skills.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know, now I'm a little more ground based, a little more, you know, the board.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: Not quite as nimble technical as I once was.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, a little more technical, a little more bruising than I was.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: But he's built it bounce around spring boards.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: I can still do it.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: I can still do it.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: But, yeah, the shoes are pressed through the floor.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: It was almost too easy.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I was, oh, so let me do this.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: Run up and then she started press.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I did it a couple times and I did it successfully.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: And the people really enjoyed it.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: But then I tried it.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: It was, it'd be two thousand seven.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: And Detroit at Super Card of Honor actually I believe it was.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I laying on my head.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't get all the way around because I just too.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: You know, didn't have my foot and land on my head and next thing I know.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: We could have been a hospital and it's two days later.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: They had kept me under for, you know, and kept me under for for four more than twenty four hours.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: My mom was actually there and I thought, well, so how did you get here?
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: We're in Detroit.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: How did you get here so quickly?
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: She said, I've been here for a whole day.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: You've been unconscious for a whole day.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: And so that was, that was unfortunate event there, but
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm moving forward.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: It all paned out.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: It all worked out for the good.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: So no more shooting stars.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: No shooting stars at all in.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: Man, I don't want to say that.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't I don't I don't want to
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: I want to pick myself into that corner, because if I'm feeling it, man, if I'm feeling it, then I might just, I don't know.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_07]: And one last question, what's the deal with the word of the day?
- 16:24[SPEAKER_07]: How do we come up with your words of the day?
- 16:26[SPEAKER_07]: What are the words of the day?
- 16:28[SPEAKER_07]: What's the word of the day today?
- 16:29[SPEAKER_00]: The word of the day is actually catastrophic, because it's going to be a catastrophic answer for him today, tomorrow and all of you.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_00]: He can't run.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: He can't hide.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: I know he's going to try to because he's a coward.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: He yellow.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's yellow, but it don't matter.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna get a hold of your max.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna get a hold of your pickle-free man, and I'm gonna beat you within the NCAA, and I'm gonna take that match, and I'm gonna have that AEW World title shot in my backpack.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_07]: AEW All-N's gonna be catastrophic.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you very much, Mark Friscoll.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, brother.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, brother.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_07]: It's funny, Teddy.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_07]: I've seen you many times there.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, my goodness.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_07]: It's what he did.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_07]: He has a perfect.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, perfect.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_09]: Hello, hello, David Corman here from Poison Rana.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_09]: I'm sorry.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_08]: It's just a taste.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_08]: It's fluffy, right?
- 17:23[SPEAKER_08]: It's brand new.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_08]: It's nice and fun.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_09]: Go for it.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, my.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_09]: Right.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_09]: It's.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_08]: It's very pleasing.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_08]: There was like a cat bell.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I just heard you're a cat cat cat.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_09]: What's your cat's name?
- 17:34[SPEAKER_08]: Ah, I have two cats.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_08]: Went.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_08]: Went for one.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_08]: We're two.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_08]: They were like, oh, it's a litter.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_08]: We don't want to break them up.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_08]: So we got.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_08]: Go on a boy.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_08]: Go.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_08]: Callie.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_08]: I love that.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_08]: I love that.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_08]: I love that.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_09]: Now I'm a Londoner.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_09]: I live in Toronto.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_08]: I was going to say you said you were from Toronto and I was like, that's not a lot.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_08]: I'm a new thinking.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_09]: That was newly dual.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_09]: Just it isn't like you're exactly.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_09]: So I've been following you a long time, right?
- 18:07[SPEAKER_09]: I've been seeing in the ballroom and Camden and that.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_09]: But I've just got to ask who are you and what the hell did you do with Kyle Fletcher?
- 18:14[SPEAKER_09]: Like this is not the same person I was watching all those years ago.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_09]: I killed him and I ate him.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_09]: That's why I was just going to eat what have you been eating because you packed on quite a bit of size.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_09]: There's been a massive transformation.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah definitely.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_08]: Eating a lot of chicken and rice.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_08]: I work very closely with a fitness coach and he basically just tells me like we do check in every week and whatever the goal is at the time whether or not it's trying to gain muscle or get shredded for a show whatever it is.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_08]: He just tells me what to do and then I just follow the plan and this is what the result is.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_09]: and not just physically, but obviously the way you're dressed and everything your fashion's changed, I love the pink, I mean, pink man myself.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_09]: So yeah, like any inspiration behind the suits, like is there a certain person you go to for this?
- 19:02[SPEAKER_08]: I have my place and I get my suits done up.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_08]: The inspiration for it was just I always liked the
- 19:11[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know what you'd call it, like the idea of dressing for the job you want, not the job you have.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_08]: I always kind of took that to heart and I thought, like, I have such big goals in wrestling.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_08]: I genuinely meet it when I say I play in a main, the greatest of all time one day.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_08]: So I looked at world champions.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_08]: I looked at the best in the business and I went, oh, they all sharpen suits.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_08]: They all look the part.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_08]: Twenty more seven every time you see them.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_08]: So I kind of took that to part.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_09]: it's working like it's it's been incredible to watch this last last year we were both at the four gear match last year with Will and obviously you have the incredible follow up with the ladder sorry the cage match after that is there something is there like a either spoken rule or unspoken rule between when you're working with someone as as close to you as well yeah where you're going to go harder like we had a brain bust on the steel steps which we were right in front of that is kind of made me feel physically sick which was right soon so you mean right the tombstone yes that's right yes
- 20:05[SPEAKER_03]: My bad.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_09]: But he's there like that unspoken thing between you where it's like, you know, where pals, where buddies, like, let's lay it in a little thicker.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_08]: Definitely.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_08]: I think it, like you said, it's unspoken.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_08]: It's never something you speak about.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_08]: But I think at the end of the day, whatever happens out there, you're gonna come back and you're gonna hug it out and you're gonna be like, that was sick.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_08]: That was awesome.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_08]: So it's like, yeah, you kind of, you definitely go a little bit harder.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, for sure.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_09]: Now, you're going for a single title.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_09]: You're first a W single title at all in against Adam Cole.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_09]: How has the transition from being a tag team wrestler, as I said, I was watching you in all those obviously, open matches in the ballroom off to a single star.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_09]: What have you learned and how have you adapted your style or training or whatever.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_08]: I think it's at first, it was like being in a tag team, you always have someone there to bounce ideas off of.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_08]: Everything that you see is almost a creative process between two people.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_08]: You have two people, someone comes in an idea.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_08]: The other person is like, oh, what if you did it like this, but a little bit different or whatever.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_08]: So you kind of have that
- 21:15[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, yeah, whatever you call creative process.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to bounce ideas off of when you, when it's a single, when you're a single competitor, it's very much like your presentation.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_08]: What you do in the ring, how you do all of that stuff is up to you.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_08]: And I think at first for me, it was very.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_08]: And I think it was daunting for sure because I was going out there for the first time and it was like, oh, if I if I shouldn't then people are going to be like they're going to know it's me they're going to know that's my fault.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_08]: So it's like it was kind of a big thing to get over.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_08]: But I think that is where I found like this confidence.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_08]: I ended up starting to trust my instincts and being like, oh
- 21:53[SPEAKER_09]: What what I think my ideas are good like I have good instincts or this so then yeah, it's just customer and instincts and then you kind of just build up that confidence through that over time I think that's what that's been the biggest then now assuming you win the TNT title tomorrow at all it's assuming The next two shows are as mentioned my two hometowns London and then Toronto for bit and door coming up next anyone outside of AEW you'd like to defend that titles
- 22:20[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I feel like you're setting me up.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_08]: He's on here outside.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_08]: No, I mean, you know, it's CMLL.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_08]: It's New Japan.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_08]: It's the crossover show.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_08]: Of course.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_08]: Of course.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_08]: So there is a there is a man.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know if I want to throw it out there.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_08]: I don't want to go into disappointment.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_08]: He put it out there.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_08]: There's a man.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_08]: He said he's having his loss.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_08]: Imagine you pay ever.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_08]: It's on a hushie.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_08]: He's someone that I have some history with that people might not really know about.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_08]: I had my first match in the U.S.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_08]: ever was against Tanahashi and Juice Robinson.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_08]: And then he made me some advice after that kind of changed the trajectory of my career a little bit.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I think whilst he's on his final run, retiring obviously next year at the Tokyo Dome, I would more, I would more than love to get back in there with him.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_08]: That would be my choice.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_09]: Well, that's out there now.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_08]: We're manifesting.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_08]: I like manifesting.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_08]: Let's manifest.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_09]: And then Toronto.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_09]: Who would we like all out?
- 23:22[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, this is, oh, yeah.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_08]: Thinking about Toronto, I think there's a man that is one of the greatest TNT champions of all time, who has not maybe been seen too much recently, a big Adam Copeland, big Cope, that would be, that's one that I want to take off to list for sure, I think.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_08]: Assuming I win the TNT.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_08]: Assuming.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_08]: Assuming.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_08]: Assuming.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_08]: I think that would be a pretty cool one.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_08]: You're doing Toronto.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_09]: Awesome.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_09]: Now, finally, I am a bartender in downtown Toronto.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_09]: I like him up with Wrestling and Spide Cocktails.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_09]: What would the Kyle Fletcher be?
- 23:57[SPEAKER_09]: I need a name.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_09]: Let's start with a base of your alcohol.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_09]: What are we dealing with there?
- 24:02[SPEAKER_09]: I only ever do mocktails are fine as well.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_08]: I didn't do some vodka in there.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_08]: Do you have a bunker of choice?
- 24:11[SPEAKER_08]: What should I go to?
- 24:13[SPEAKER_09]: Um, I like I like cattle one.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_09]: I like goofs like yeah, we don't have teedos over there anymore.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_09]: I'm fortunate.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_08]: But yeah, yeah, yeah, we're great goose base.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I'm gonna go I love fruity fruity is my jam.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_08]: I'm gonna go like it needs to be
- 24:29[SPEAKER_08]: A pink color.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_08]: I think some like strawberries in there.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_09]: Do you like sour?
- 24:35[SPEAKER_08]: A little bit.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_09]: So maybe we could.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_09]: We were talking to Tony like some shampooed a little bit.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_09]: Rars, we like you or something like that.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_08]: That sounds cool.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_09]: And then what are we dropping it as a bomb in some Victoria better or what what are we doing here?
- 24:48[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, I was in my time partial to a Yagobom, so.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, yeah.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_08]: I messed with that.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_08]: It's still a little.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_08]: Well, a protobom.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_08]: A protobom.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_09]: Perfect.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_09]: A protobom.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_09]: Awesome.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_09]: So the perfect.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_09]: And maybe if we were to make a protoshida, we could do it something Japanese inspired as well, right?
- 25:07[SPEAKER_08]: My guy.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_08]: He's not the guy.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, okay.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_08]: Sounds good to me.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_09]: Perfect.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_09]: Well, maybe you can celebrate with that tomorrow night.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_09]: I was assuming.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_08]: Assuming you win, assuming everyone assumed manifest.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_09]: Manifest.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_09]: Awesome.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you very much, Kyle.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_05]: This one's going to be a lot of fun.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_05]: Here we go.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_07]: Brain Harrington here from Post Wrestling in Poison, Rhona and I'm with Big Boom AJ.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_07]: Oh.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_07]: That's right.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_05]: Big Boom AJ, are you all in for this Saturday?
- 25:32[SPEAKER_05]: Hi, I'm all in.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_05]: I've been all in.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_05]: We've been out here since December, pro in this show.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_05]: So we got here in December.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_05]: We had the press conference.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_05]: Then we came back.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_05]: We threw the opening pitch for the Texas Rangers.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_05]: And now it's here.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_05]: It's about twenty four hours away.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_05]: We're all in.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_05]: Big Justice did a great throw, by the way.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_05]: Big Justice brings it.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_05]: I can't find anything big Justice can't do.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_05]: They got they I was expecting him to hit a Homer at the.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_07]: I've seen him with the bat, too.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_07]: I've seen him on the field.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_05]: He was in the power showcase.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm going to remember right here.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like a little bit like it's been our home for the last year.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to miss it like this is over.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_07]: So you've been to Costco and Texas then.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, just the other day.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_05]: So the videos up we did a Costco run here.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_05]: I think it was in Lewisville, Texas.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_05]: Pretty sure our Lewis town.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_05]: Louis town.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_05]: Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis Louis
- 26:44[SPEAKER_07]: I see people, couples, kids, everyone's doing that.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, look, I've literally seen people do booms inside Cosmos.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, that's all about it.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_05]: You've changed the game.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_05]: The boom belongs to everyone.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_05]: The boom belongs to everyone.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_05]: Get out there.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_05]: Get the Costco.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_05]: Get to AEW.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_05]: Go to pro wrestling matches and bring them.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_05]: Boo!
- 27:01[SPEAKER_07]: So your team will with the conglomeration at all in.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_07]: When you take Tomahiro Ishii to Costco, when are you going to get the Japanese barbecue sauce?
- 27:09[SPEAKER_05]: What are you getting for Ishii?
- 27:10[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to be a crazy roll.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_05]: Wow, I mean, listen, he's going to have to have a double chunk chocolate cookie.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_05]: Can you imagine his reaction to that, right?
- 27:18[SPEAKER_05]: So have you ever been to a Costco in Canada?
- 27:21[SPEAKER_05]: No, we haven't left the U.S.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_05]: since everything has been so since we started getting all the information.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_05]: We have them at the U.S.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_05]: yet because we never know when we're going to call.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, who knows, we'll create is going to call us today and say, hey, we need your entire state building for the eight hours.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_05]: So we're we're always ready to go.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_07]: because they launched a new Montreal smoke meat.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_07]: Wow.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_05]: But he keeps selling out.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_05]: I can't even get it.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_07]: It sells out.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_07]: You know, every time I go, it's sold out.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, what?
- 27:47[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I need a link up on that.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_07]: Ever since coming into AEW, like, obviously you have history with pro wrestling.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, how has it been coming back and getting into the Rick, we were there at full gear.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_07]: We were cheering loud New Jersey was going nuts for you.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_07]: I expect the same Texas.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, listen, it's crazy and it's always been about the audience.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_05]: That's that's that's how it always was.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, even on the independent shows, I used to get there as a first guy to get there, greet everyone, sign autographs, take pictures, and nothing changed.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's a much larger audience now, but I still bring that same energy, that same excitement to everything.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you totally do and something I I love about your videos is your positivity.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_07]: Like you you and your your whole your family your crew.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_05]: Where's negativity going to get exactly?
- 28:31[SPEAKER_05]: Where is everyone out there?
- 28:33[SPEAKER_05]: Where is it negative fault going to get you?
- 28:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it serves no purpose.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_05]: It's all about positivity.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_07]: What is some positive things that we can we could give to the people?
- 28:41[SPEAKER_07]: What is some power of positivity?
- 28:43[SPEAKER_07]: What you know, I see you like a family man.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I think you inspire a lot of people.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_05]: What I tell my family all the time about everything is fix it or get rid of it.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_05]: Fix it or forget that's all the risk.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_05]: So if there's something in your life that's troubling you and if you can fix it fix it right here right now fix it and get rid of it and if it can't be fixed that's it just get rid of it.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_05]: If the candy fixtures get rid of it, listen, we only have so many heart beats left on our chest.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_05]: Why should we stay in a bad situation?
- 29:07[SPEAKER_05]: Get out of the bad situation and make yourself happy.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, wow.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_05]: You inspire me again here today.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_07]: And last thing, how and when did you get the cookies on your gear?
- 29:18[SPEAKER_07]: The double chunk chocolate cookie wrestling gear.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_05]: There's a story listen, there are some crazy crazy ideas I here.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_05]: This is gonna be a hot take.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah a hot take for brain and right here So there were some crazy ideas coming up when I got back into Russell and people were saying you gotta bring a cookie to the ring You gotta eat the cookie power I'm a wrestler.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a wrestler.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_02]: I can wrestle.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_05]: I'm gonna show the world like a wrestle, but the cookie does have to be a part of it
- 29:40[SPEAKER_05]: So I did come up with the idea with my designer and we kept like moving things around and the cookie and then like yeah, we just nailed it the cookie had to be on the gear a lot of people were expecting big justice to come in swing in a chicken bank Had full gear.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_07]: I remember that was a talk of the town So whoever is coming up against you in the conversation better watch out for those chicken ever.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_07]: No, thank you so much and good luck at all in this great and this is great.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you bring up
- 30:07[SPEAKER_09]: Hello, hello, hello, it's Davey Paulman here from Poison, Rana, and Post Wrestling, and I am joined with one third of the A-W, Trio's Champion, Will Hops, how are you doing?
- 30:19[SPEAKER_09]: Great, how are you?
- 30:20[SPEAKER_09]: I'm great.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_09]: It's a lovely Texas day.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_09]: We got in last night.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, yes.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_09]: Now, this is your first all-in, right?
- 30:30[SPEAKER_09]: You're a, if you like, hung-grown AEW talent.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_09]: We're going in.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_09]: You wear some legends in Joe and Shabbatah as the trio's champion.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_09]: How are your nerves?
- 30:41[SPEAKER_09]: How is, how are you feeling?
- 30:42[SPEAKER_09]: This is going to be, I guess, your first stadium show.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_09]: What are we thinking going on?
- 30:48[SPEAKER_09]: I'm excited.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_11]: I'm very happy to honor to be a part of history.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_11]: Shall I?
- 30:55[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I think that's on my mind.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_11]: So, you know, I'm looking for a personal cardio.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_11]: You didn't keep keeping these trio titles.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_09]: Now, we've seen you throughout your career in AEW.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_09]: You've been in quite a few stables.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_09]: You've with team TAS.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_09]: We've had you with QTV that don't call us family.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_09]: And now the odds.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_09]: What is something you've taken away from all those groups you've been with?
- 31:19[SPEAKER_11]: Um, especially with TAS, uh, learning to be myself.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_11]: and it's okay to hurt people.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_11]: I can't get my point across QTV.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_11]: As we know, QT was a very important part of me becoming the TNT champion.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_11]: You know, unfortunately, he didn't keep his words, so that's why they ended.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_11]: And being with the Dom Calis friend, it's kind of similar to being part of team ties.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_11]: You know, it's okay to be angry and hurt people and get my point across.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_09]: Do you have a group you feel you fit in the most?
- 31:53[SPEAKER_09]: I get to be myself.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_11]: I'm worth two living legends in Shabata in a small job.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_11]: So I get to be myself every once he's out weekly, and I'm in the ring, so I'm okay to be at ask it.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_09]: Now, there's a common saying in groups of three, you have the brains.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_09]: You have the looks and you have the wildtot.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_09]: You're Joe Shabata.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_11]: I like to say I'm the wild car because I kind of tend to be unpredictable and times and I got a short fuse.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_11]: It's like a pot of gumbo.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_11]: You know, you got all these mixtures in one pot.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_11]: I think we all fit each one of those at times.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_09]: So what we going with, Shabbat of the looks and Joe the brains or depends on the day.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I can get ill and get crazy with it.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, we know Joe can't.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_11]: I can't.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_11]: So it all depends on our moves.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_09]: Now obviously, this wasn't the path we originally taking because Hook was part of this group and he was taken out.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_09]: You stepped in.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_09]: Is there anything going on there with you in hook?
- 33:10[SPEAKER_09]: Can we expect to we saw him kind of walk out on you guys?
- 33:15[SPEAKER_09]: Have you guys been talking?
- 33:16[SPEAKER_09]: Is there any ill feeling between you guys?
- 33:18[SPEAKER_11]: I know.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_11]: He's been busy.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_11]: You know, he's had a movie premiere.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_11]: We'll be well people then.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_11]: Anybody that knows the history what team does.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_11]: Cook is my little brother.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_11]: He was in my corner for every single match that I've had.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_11]: As far as me, and there's no
- 33:36[SPEAKER_11]: personal issues or any saying, you know, I happened to be the big brother that filled it from my little brother.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_11]: Awesome.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_09]: Now, we are from Toronto, Canada.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_09]: It will be hosting all outs later this year.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_09]: I fully expect you guys to still be trio's champions by then.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_11]: Very smart man.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_11]: I like.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_09]: Which trio would you like to face in Toronto?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_09]: It doesn't necessarily have to be a trio already formed or which three guys do you think should not take on the ops?
- 34:05[SPEAKER_11]: Anybody that has a heart and blood run will go veins.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_11]: You know, if you step up, you want to get it, come get it.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_11]: If you show you can do it, but we won't be successful.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_11]: Take advantage of the opportunity.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_11]: Three guys, come on, bring it there.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_11]: What's your?
- 34:20[SPEAKER_09]: Now, I am also a bartender in downtown Toronto.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_09]: I often throw wrestling events and when you guys are in town, try and get the people on me, how you wrestling related drinks.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_09]: Well, that's what I'm going to ask you.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_09]: I often try and come up with a cocktail.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_09]: Now, what is the powerhouse hubs?
- 34:39[SPEAKER_09]: We need a name.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_09]: Let's come up with a black Superman.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_09]: A black Superman.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_09]: Now, what is your liquor of choice?
- 34:46[SPEAKER_09]: I love to kill you.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_11]: You love to speak in my language.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_09]: I love to kill you.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_11]: Sit on it.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_11]: Sometimes you gotta pound it into a bag while I love just sit and want to kill you.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_11]: And when I get in the mood, I'll have a nice cigar and some nice bourbon.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_09]: Okay, well, we can't get bourbon in Canada at the moment.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_09]: Well, not in Ontario, but to Kila, we can certainly do.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_09]: So the black Superman.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_09]: So we want what a bit of black red and blue in there.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, let's do it.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_09]: Let's just make it purple.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_09]: Purple drinks.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_11]: Purple drinks, purple, right?
- 35:15[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_09]: Cool.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_09]: Do you like Raspberry?
- 35:17[SPEAKER_09]: I love Raspberry.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_09]: It'll be a bit of raspberry sour in there.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_09]: Some to Kila.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, after we defend these belts and well, no, retainer.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_11]: You know, me and you have to go out a little bit.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_09]: I'm totally down for that.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_09]: Now I know there was a karaoke event last night that made up you hosted.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_09]: We pride ourselves in the city on hosting wrestling karaoke.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_09]: Did you attend karaoke?
- 35:40[SPEAKER_09]: We arrived super late last night.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_11]: So that was my next question.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_11]: What's your last night?
- 35:46[SPEAKER_11]: My son, this is how we do it by myself.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I know.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_09]: I get down a little bit and carry open.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_09]: So when you retain your titles tomorrow, can we expect a little bit of that in the ring?
- 35:57[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I'll go ahead and sing.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_10]: I made take the mic from Justin Roberts, you know, and Serenic the whole crowd, you know.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_09]: I'd love that.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_09]: That would be awesome.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_09]: All right.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_09]: Well, lovely to meet you.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you very much.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_09]: I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_09]: Take care.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_07]: Brain Harrington here from Post Wrestling and Poison Rana, and I'm here with the AEW Tag Team Champions of the World, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley, MVP, the hurt syndicate gentleman, how you doing today?
- 36:28[SPEAKER_07]: a lot better than you.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_07]: I'm doing even better now and with you guys.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_04]: Well, she how that goes.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I'll make it quick then, gentlemen.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for your time.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_07]: I know time is a valuable thing, but you three look the part you act the part.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_07]: I got asked.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_07]: How do you maintain such a great relationship with each other?
- 36:45[SPEAKER_04]: It's organic.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_04]: We're literally
- 36:48[SPEAKER_04]: best friends where with brothers we came up together and what you see here is authentic and that's why it works so well because we're not some guys that were thrown together to make a team.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_04]: We're like-minded individuals with businessmen, we're legit grapplers and we don't play any games and as being of a of a like-mind and a like approach to the business, this is authentic in a flow-zero way.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_07]: What about you, Shelton?
- 37:12[SPEAKER_07]: Do you ever find sometimes when you're in those long car rides with MVP, and you put on maybe some music you don't necessarily agree with?
- 37:20[SPEAKER_07]: Do you ever get angry with them sometimes?
- 37:26[SPEAKER_02]: I know for a fact, and MVP.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's fun.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's funny how you have such a dominant, dominant group.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_02]: How everyone's trying to find cracks.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_02]: They're no cracks here.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_02]: Me and MVP, we are in St.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_02]: when it comes to music, when it comes to women, when it comes to movies, we are in, we are a teen.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_02]: We are a well-oiled machine in the same goes for Bobby.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_02]: So stop looking for cracks.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_02]: There's no dissension within the ranks here.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_06]: Drink the same tea.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_06]: I'm swinging tea.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, unsweet tea, unsweet tea, unsweet tea.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, I just drink tea.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_02]: He drinks unsweet tea.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_09]: in London, we just wanted to.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's just teed.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, man.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_07]: He is.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_07]: The reason I, the reason I was asked to not swear wasn't, I wasn't trying to crack any.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_07]: You know the point.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_07]: I give that man a car.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_07]: I wasn't trying to crack anything here.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_07]: I just I know MVP is a man of a quiet taste and I I've seen some of your music tastes over the year and I'm a big fan and I like to to follow.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_07]: I know that maybe sometimes you're the DJ in the college.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I will say this the first time the Shelton and I rolled together.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_04]: Fifteen years ago or something like that.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_04]: We established very quickly that the
- 38:45[SPEAKER_04]: with his look, the oxcaid, the oxcaid, the oxcaid, the oxcaid, the oxcaid, the oxcaid.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_04]: We were riding together and he was playing some music and I'm laughing along singing and I played and he was like, good tasting music.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_04]: I saw the human.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_04]: We were riding together.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_04]: And musically as the man said, we're a sing.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_04]: We don't fight about music.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_04]: We don't fight about women.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_04]: We don't fight about anything.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_04]: because as I said, we are like minded businessmen.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_04]: We have disagreements, because brothers do that, but at the end of the day, it comes down to one thing.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_04]: Business, the business of paying, the business of her.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_04]: We are the merchants of Missouri.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_04]: We are the tag team champions, and I'm getting sick of this bullshit back here.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm like, I'm annoyed, but we do this better than anyone in the world.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_04]: There is no tag team on the planet.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_04]: that is better than these two men right here.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_04]: These two men collectively individually can be any champion and any company anywhere in the world.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_04]: There is no tag to you in our company or anywhere else that can beat the Almighty, Bobby Lashley, and the standard of excellent children, Benjamin.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_04]: And on that note, here's your last question.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_04]: They can count.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_07]: Last question, I'll go to the tag team champion.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_07]: Since coming into AEW, you've been on a bit of a rampage and you've been destroying everyone in your path.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_07]: Is there anyone that you're looking to face?
- 40:06[SPEAKER_07]: Because I think ever since coming in, seeing you guys, it's like a whole fresh coat of paint for both of you.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_07]: I think a lot of wrestling fans are seeing what we wanted to see from you guys.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_07]: And I think wrestling fans are really like happy and hype to see you guys
- 40:20[SPEAKER_07]: especially get some gold in AWS, but on top of that scene you want to give you every week, putting in the work, having awesome matches, what's it, what's it been like and what's your, your next steps.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_06]: We can only beat up the ones we can catch.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_06]: We're also running.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_06]: So I mean, we're here.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_06]: We come every week and they want to rustle each other.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_06]: There's other tag teams on the wrestling card.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_06]: Why don't they go for the tag team titles?
- 40:44[SPEAKER_06]: Ask that question to them.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_02]: You asked who do we want to face?
- 40:47[SPEAKER_02]: We came here and we laid out an open invitation to everyone.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_02]: And quite frankly, no one's stepped up.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_02]: Period.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not who do we want to face is what their wants to face us.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_07]: Fair enough.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you so much for your time and good luck at all in this weekend gentlemen.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_07]: Good luck.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_07]: Good luck.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_07]: Good luck.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_04]: Are you dead?
- 41:13[SPEAKER_07]: A little bit.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_07]: Adios me.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_07]: I don't need luck.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, Bobby last week is something.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_07]: No luck.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_04]: Skill.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_04]: There's no luck involved with what you have a mediocre day.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks, guys.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate it.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_02]: Just on.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and thank you for that.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: I just call it TV.
