- 1:31Speaker 5: And this is when it starts right here and right now,

- 2:48Speaker 2: episode of sponsor by will you want to tell them.
- 2:50Speaker 6: The spookiest truck on the road the Chevy Silverado.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Does you have one? Yeah? I love it?
- 3:02Speaker 6: Right, Yeah, I'm obsessed with it. But I would, I would,
- 3:06Speaker 6: I would, I would set up that point. Yeah, leaves
- 3:11Speaker 6: me speechless. This big, bad black machine, the ZR two
- 3:15Speaker 6: Chevy Silverado, that is what the boy has. Last week,
- 3:18Speaker 6: Taylor and I were kind of talking about trucks and
- 3:20Speaker 6: he went peeking in the comments and saw, thankfully you
- 3:23Speaker 6: guys left comments there is a ZR two package in
- 3:26Speaker 6: the twenty five hundred and thirty five hundred edition of
- 3:28Speaker 6: that truck. So, Taylor, why don't you take your your
- 3:31Speaker 6: cute little ass over to Chevy the local Chevy, the
- 3:33Speaker 6: nearest Chevy dealership by you, and you can go buy one.
- 3:37Speaker 6: They have eight different cameras, fourteen different angles and views.
- 3:41Speaker 6: Their modern truck tech is spectacular. The wheels on that thing.
- 3:46Speaker 6: I swear to God, this is the best truck on
- 3:48Speaker 6: the road. And that is a Chevy Soverado.
- 3:51Speaker 2: And if you don't believe Will saying that's the best
- 3:52Speaker 2: truck on the road, you can go to jdpower dot
- 3:55Speaker 2: com and look at all of the awards awarded to
- 3:57Speaker 2: Chevy Silverado between twenty eight, two, twenty and twenty twenty two.
- 4:01Speaker 6: I think it's is it twenty twenty and twenty twenty
- 4:03Speaker 6: two or twenty twenty two and twenty twenty four.
- 4:05Speaker 2: It's probably all of them, but twenty twenty four.
- 4:07Speaker 6: You can fact jacket right at jdpower dot com.
- 4:10Speaker 2: And if you go to Chevy dot com, you can
- 4:12Speaker 2: actually build your own Silverado has already talked about the
- 4:15Speaker 2: eight cameras, fourteen dars.
- 4:17Speaker 6: Just a fleet of Silverado's, Yes, and.
- 4:19Speaker 2: We know listen, everyone's gone on a road trip. Nothing
- 4:22Speaker 2: is more comfortable, more compatible to your lifestyle than a
- 4:25Speaker 2: Chevy Silverad. The best thing about the Chevy Silvrado is
- 4:28Speaker 2: you can be a blue collar boy or a white
- 4:30Speaker 2: collar cat. Regardless you get in that truck. You're gonna
- 4:33Speaker 2: feel like you belong in any single world there is
- 4:35Speaker 2: because the Chevy Silvada looks that good, feels that good,
- 4:38Speaker 2: and it runs that good. Amen.
- 4:41Speaker 6: That's why they're representing sponsor. The only sponsor that can
- 4:44Speaker 6: really sponsor is going into.
- 4:45Speaker 2: US Ootober as well.
- 4:46Speaker 6: How fired the fuck up are.
- 4:48Speaker 2: You dude that. To be honest, here, literally last night
- 4:51Speaker 2: I got home and I saw my kids and they're like, Dad,
- 4:56Speaker 2: two more sleeps. That's what they said, the first thing
- 4:58Speaker 2: they said to me. They got Dad, two more sleeps
- 5:01Speaker 2: and then hugs. So my kids are fully invested in Spootober.
- 5:04Speaker 2: We're literally gonna go to Michael's today. As soon as
- 5:07Speaker 2: I'm able to leave this shop, I'm gonna go pick
- 5:09Speaker 2: my daughter up at school and We're going straight to Michael's.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I told her two hundred dollars, Yeah, two hundred dollars
- 5:14Speaker 2: spending on whatever you want to decorate your room. I'm
- 5:16Speaker 2: to decorate, and so we are going to get after it. Now.
- 5:19Speaker 6: That's when I started building the foundation for real.
- 5:21Speaker 2: You're at the perfect time to a store.
- 5:23Speaker 6: Like here's how we started embracing the spooks.
- 5:24Speaker 2: It's very, very slow, but sure the pumpkin. You get
- 5:27Speaker 2: her excited about the pumpkin. That's the first step, and
- 5:29Speaker 2: then you just slowly in a greate more and more
- 5:31Speaker 2: spooked over stuff. Now when being seven, she's like that,
- 5:34Speaker 2: I want scary stuff in my room, and I'm like, honey, no,
- 5:37Speaker 2: so you think you do, you think you do, But
- 5:39Speaker 2: it changes everything.
- 5:40Speaker 6: When you just lay there up late at night and
- 5:41Speaker 6: start thinking, you start playing these games in your head.
- 5:43Speaker 6: Could this thing come alive? Could something pop out of
- 5:45Speaker 6: the closet. Yeah, it's a whole different ballgame.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Or not that detailed, or not that detailed for a
- 5:49Speaker 2: specific reason, because the kid's imagination is incredible. But you
- 5:53Speaker 2: ever fired up. If you are joining us for the
- 5:54Speaker 2: first time, go ahead, sit back, relax. I'm gonna tell
- 5:57Speaker 2: you all the rules of Spootober. If you're here consist instantley,
- 6:00Speaker 2: you already know the rules, but go ahead and get
- 6:02Speaker 2: a pen and a pen and a note pad out
- 6:04Speaker 2: because we're gonna tell you everything. Listen.
- 6:06Speaker 6: Four key rules to Spooktober.
- 6:09Speaker 2: The first rule is it's no longer October. It's Spootober
- 6:12Speaker 2: from here on out. If you're going to talk about
- 6:15Speaker 2: this month, add a spook to the tober, call it Spooktober.
- 6:18Speaker 2: That is what you're doing. The next step and you
- 6:21Speaker 2: achieving Spootober Nirvana is going to be put something spooky
- 6:26Speaker 2: on every single day. Now, that sounds like a very
- 6:28Speaker 2: tall task because there's thirty one days of fright. It
- 6:30Speaker 2: doesn't have to be festive, festive, festive, Festive have to
- 6:34Speaker 2: be a horror film. If you are my age, if
- 6:36Speaker 2: you're thirty three or Will's age thirty five, you're you
- 6:39Speaker 2: remember watching Disney Channel and Nickelodeon and every single day
- 6:43Speaker 2: there are the TV shows that were on. There was
- 6:46Speaker 2: always themed Halloween stuff going on. You pop that on
- 6:49Speaker 2: for ten minutes. Maybe guess what you did it? You've
- 6:51Speaker 2: You've been gusting with Spootober for that day. It's just
- 6:53Speaker 2: a daily check. It's like making your bed, getting in
- 6:55Speaker 2: a workout and making sure you do a couple of
- 6:56Speaker 2: things every single day. Pops up it on for twenty minutes.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Now while take the time put on that spooky movie.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Get yourself a little scared when you turn the lights
- 7:04Speaker 2: off at night, because that's good for the soul. You
- 7:05Speaker 2: need that. That is great for the soul. The next
- 7:08Speaker 2: thing you're going to do and the journey to Spootober
- 7:11Speaker 2: Nirvana is going to be enjoy something fall festive every
- 7:16Speaker 2: single week. And it could be a pumpkin patch. It
- 7:20Speaker 2: could be as simple as you go into your local
- 7:21Speaker 2: coffee shop and get yourself a seasonal beverage. It doesn't
- 7:24Speaker 2: have to be the be all end all every single day.
- 7:27Speaker 2: That's exhausting. We don't want that. Spooktober doesn't need to
- 7:30Speaker 2: be something where it's like I can't believe I have
- 7:31Speaker 2: to do this because we've been there before. We've been there.
- 7:33Speaker 2: You get over to you get to Spootober eighteen and above,
- 7:37Speaker 2: you're like, bro, I'm kind of like ready, you know
- 7:42Speaker 2: the whole thing. So just integrate it where you need to,
- 7:45Speaker 2: but make sure you get in the seven days. You
- 7:48Speaker 2: get a little something in there. For me personally, my
- 7:50Speaker 2: wife and I if this Thursday or Friday, we can
- 7:52Speaker 2: get a little banged up and we're gonna go to
- 7:54Speaker 2: a hunted house, and that's just to me. That is
- 7:57Speaker 2: like the the the core dude, just being a little
- 8:00Speaker 2: straight and talking yourself into being scared.
- 8:02Speaker 6: And the final rule will Compton decorate. You have to
- 8:06Speaker 6: decorate your house. Whether it's on the lawn with the
- 8:08Speaker 6: house inside the house, doesn't matter, whether you just have
- 8:11Speaker 6: a few pumpkins out front, one pumpkin out front. You
- 8:13Speaker 6: gotta do something to bring out the theme of the year,
- 8:15Speaker 6: and that is Spooktober. Those are your four rules. That
- 8:19Speaker 6: is how you execute with the boys. We need to
- 8:21Speaker 6: be talking about it on socials. We got to keep
- 8:23Speaker 6: each other accountable, keep each other in check, and let's
- 8:25Speaker 6: have a phenomenal spooky season this year. And it's a
- 8:28Speaker 6: big year for Spooktobe right, and people already selling the
- 8:31Speaker 6: commons and merch too. That's not a rule, but our
- 8:33Speaker 6: merch this I don't know if this was last year,
- 8:36Speaker 6: the year before. We usually have some fun merch every
- 8:38Speaker 6: year for Spootober. Those will be up on the site.
- 8:41Speaker 6: We had new merch drop today as you're listening. So
- 8:44Speaker 6: if you go to a store doop barstool sports dot com,
- 8:46Speaker 6: click on the brand Busting with the Boys, it should
- 8:49Speaker 6: be right right out there at the top, somewhere on
- 8:51Speaker 6: the first page. But our new Spooktober merch is out.
- 8:55Speaker 6: Embrace the fucking spook with the Boys because it's again
- 8:57Speaker 6: it's a massive month. It's our favorite month. And this
- 9:00Speaker 6: is how you fully buy into Busting with.
- 9:02Speaker 2: The Boys, fully buy it. And Geez did an incredible job.
- 9:04Speaker 2: He sent me a couple of uh merch items that
- 9:07Speaker 2: we're putting out there, and it is. It's awesome. The
- 9:09Speaker 2: thing I'm wearing right now, this Spootober Dad sweater, the
- 9:12Speaker 2: one that G's also wearing. It's my favorite, My all simple,
- 9:15Speaker 2: favorite simple, and this. I will literally run this sweater
- 9:19Speaker 2: into the fucking ground for the next thirty one days.
- 9:22Speaker 6: I personally I love this. I love the orange and
- 9:24Speaker 6: I also loved the purple one that we've had in
- 9:26Speaker 6: the years past. I love kind of colors that bring
- 9:28Speaker 6: out the fall.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Don't forget about the sleep of the newspaper one of
- 9:31Speaker 2: you with the Michael Myers moro. We got to round that, Yes,
- 9:36Speaker 2: I started didn't get enough love?
- 9:38Speaker 6: Yeah that was when was that? That was like three
- 9:42Speaker 6: years ago? Yeah?
- 9:44Speaker 2: Right?
- 9:44Speaker 6: The Michael Myers mask on just standing in public? Yeah, yeah, yea,
- 9:47Speaker 6: we might think get that one.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah. I was at party City a couple of weeks
- 9:49Speaker 2: ago with my wife and I did I found a
- 9:51Speaker 2: Michaels Myers mask in the corner and I just kind
- 9:53Speaker 2: of started doing that to her. Yeah, in the hall somewhere.
- 9:56Speaker 2: She just like, wouldn't be I was zero help whatever
- 9:59Speaker 2: we were trying to. But I also saw a couple
- 10:02Speaker 2: of comments I'm gonna get with coop our graphic designs
- 10:05Speaker 2: guy about movies watch list thirty one days. So after
- 10:10Speaker 2: we get done with this episode, I'm gonna go and
- 10:12Speaker 2: type a couple of movies up and we'll make sure
- 10:15Speaker 2: to get that out this week for you, hopefully by tomorrow.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Hopefully by tomorrow would be absolutely fantastic as you want, man,
- 10:20Speaker 2: but god, it's here. Do the do the boys want
- 10:23Speaker 2: to say anything about Spootober? Do you guys want to
- 10:26Speaker 2: get anything going? Mitch is holding microphone up. Do you
- 10:33Speaker 2: just want to talk about how fired up you are
- 10:34Speaker 2: about Spootober? And also the lights? Incredible? Incredible?
- 10:39Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, as you can see, Sherman and I
- 10:42Speaker 7: we're pretty dialed in to this. Uh spootover?
- 10:45Speaker 2: Are you guys dressing up every week?
- 10:46Speaker 7: Yeah, we're gonna try and we're gonna have an outfit
- 10:48Speaker 7: or a costume.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I love that for each week.
- 10:51Speaker 7: Right now, I'm a football players.
- 10:56Speaker 2: You can football player?
- 10:57Speaker 7: What would you like?
- 10:59Speaker 8: As you can tell, I am a pirate. I am
- 11:02Speaker 8: paying homage to the og pirate Mike Leach, the inventor
- 11:05Speaker 8: of the spread offense, ORC and rips in the chat.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Can we plan on the other four boys to wear
- 11:13Speaker 2: some costumes this week? This month?
- 11:15Speaker 6: For sure?
- 11:16Speaker 2: Yeah? Oh wow? All right, buying into the spook got
- 11:19Speaker 2: gotta dive right in?
- 11:21Speaker 6: Should we dive into this massive weekend of NFL football?
- 11:24Speaker 2: We just watched. Absolutely. I had to pull up the
- 11:26Speaker 2: All twenty two this week and catch up because it
- 11:28Speaker 2: was a long way.
- 11:29Speaker 6: The boy might be dusting off the old Redskins jerseys
- 11:32Speaker 6: because Washington has a squad Daniels. Jaden Daniels is nice
- 11:38Speaker 6: and nice enough to where he might be getting himself
- 11:41Speaker 6: into the MVP talk at some point if he keeps
- 11:43Speaker 6: this up. Because I want to say, his completion percentage
- 11:45Speaker 6: is like, what was it eighty two, eighty four or
- 11:47Speaker 6: something like that.
- 11:48Speaker 2: That's insane.
- 11:48Speaker 6: The highest completion percentage was one hundred game minimum, like
- 11:52Speaker 6: over Tom Brady, Peyton, Manning, Drew Brees, Like, legit, bro,
- 11:57Speaker 6: he's nice, he's him. They've had and I forget what
- 12:00Speaker 6: it is, like sixteen it was either sixteen or fourteen
- 12:04Speaker 6: consecutive scoring drives, which is like a record. They've only
- 12:07Speaker 6: punted like one time three in the last three games, Bro,
- 12:12Speaker 6: I think they've only punted one time.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's well. I get so worried about Jaden Daniels
- 12:17Speaker 2: just because of RG three.
- 12:19Speaker 7: For sure.
- 12:19Speaker 6: But the way this kid can spin the man, he
- 12:21Speaker 6: can be off balance like and he just flicks the
- 12:24Speaker 6: wrist and it is a piss missile bro like he
- 12:26Speaker 6: is very good because a couple of weeks ago, I
- 12:29Speaker 6: want to say they were they were one in one.
- 12:32Speaker 6: I forget who they were about to play. Who they
- 12:34Speaker 6: played two weeks ago? It wasn't the Bengals. Bengals was
- 12:39Speaker 6: last week?
- 12:40Speaker 2: Last week was the Patriots. No, can you bring up
- 12:45Speaker 2: their schedule? Sure?
- 12:47Speaker 6: Yeah, but a couple of weeks ago, it was like,
- 12:50Speaker 6: I want to say they were.
- 12:51Speaker 2: An underdog Giants.
- 12:52Speaker 6: Yeah, the Giants, And and you're sitting there and you're
- 12:55Speaker 6: seeing how bad the Cowboys played. You're seeing that the
- 12:57Speaker 6: Eagles are they're one and one as well, like the
- 13:00Speaker 6: inspiration in locker room, like, hey, you know, the division
- 13:03Speaker 6: is obviously wide open. There's not like a true front
- 13:05Speaker 6: runner in the NFC East right now, they pull off
- 13:07Speaker 6: a win against the Giants and they go into the
- 13:09Speaker 6: Bengals and it's the same situation. It's kind of like
- 13:12Speaker 6: they could have a massive game here because everybody knows
- 13:14Speaker 6: how the Bengals start very slow and Joe Burrow starts slow,
- 13:17Speaker 6: and you see how well they played against the Bengals
- 13:20Speaker 6: thirty eight to thirty three, beat them at Sinci. Then
- 13:23Speaker 6: they go to Arizona, right they go to Arizona, and
- 13:27Speaker 6: I know, yeah, when I was on the Pro Football
- 13:28Speaker 6: Football Show, my whole thing with Big Kat was like
- 13:32Speaker 6: it's like you want to pick them, but at the
- 13:33Speaker 6: same time, you want to see how they handle winning
- 13:36Speaker 6: because you got a brand new quarterback. They haven't started.
- 13:39Speaker 6: They rarely start this way to where they're like two
- 13:42Speaker 6: in one going on the road to Arizona, and Arizona's
- 13:44Speaker 6: like a spicy team with Kyler Murray and everybody else.
- 13:47Speaker 6: But you want to see, like how they handle winning
- 13:49Speaker 6: because that organization's always been usually like a five hundred
- 13:52Speaker 6: ball club. There's always been a cloud over them anytime
- 13:54Speaker 6: we would get out ahead, like you drop.
- 13:56Speaker 2: One, you drop two.
- 13:57Speaker 6: But the way they fucking beat the shit out of
- 13:59Speaker 6: the Arnold's forty two to fourteen at a Z after
- 14:02Speaker 6: going into Sincy on the road and beating them at Sensey,
- 14:05Speaker 6: it's like, Yo, Washington could be for real.
- 14:08Speaker 2: This year, like a jail contender this year or a playoff.
- 14:11Speaker 6: I think, so, I don't see why not. It's like
- 14:13Speaker 6: Jaye Daniels again, we're talking about him. He's playing at
- 14:16Speaker 6: an MVP level, not like Offensive Player of the Year,
- 14:18Speaker 6: not like hey, he's the best rookie quarterback. Like right now,
- 14:21Speaker 6: he is fucking spinning the rock. And I'm telling you,
- 14:25Speaker 6: you know how the locker room can be. If you
- 14:26Speaker 6: have a hot fucking quarterback, you always got a shot.
- 14:29Speaker 6: And you know he can run. He's like he can
- 14:31Speaker 6: run like fucking Michael Vick. Yeah, but uh yeah, I
- 14:35Speaker 6: think that they're a real contender this year. It's like,
- 14:37Speaker 6: legit Washington is up right now.
- 14:39Speaker 2: It's crazy to me that this Jaden Daniels kid, that
- 14:42Speaker 2: video that came out when he was leaving as U Yeah,
- 14:46Speaker 2: yah yah yah, you bitch ass crack, go ahead and
- 14:47Speaker 2: go yeah out of here. We don't need you anyway.
- 14:50Speaker 2: The locker room does what he does, wins the Heisman,
- 14:52Speaker 2: and now this like the kid just lives with a
- 14:55Speaker 2: chip on his shoulder.
- 14:56Speaker 6: Yeah continues, and he is a genetic specimen. I'm telling
- 14:59Speaker 6: you should you should get some of these highlighted throws
- 15:01Speaker 6: that he has. Like he's like unbalanced and it's very
- 15:04Speaker 6: he's got the quickest release. He can kind of be
- 15:06Speaker 6: in a very uncoordinated spot and he just I mean,
- 15:10Speaker 6: rockets bro.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Puts a dime out there. It is impressive. Man, I
- 15:13Speaker 2: hope they can continue it because that kind of story
- 15:15Speaker 2: to me is awesome, especially a team like Washington that
- 15:17Speaker 2: just needs they need something.
- 15:19Speaker 6: Yeah, they need something, and the district gets fucking hype
- 15:22Speaker 6: now that they have a good team and they got
- 15:24Speaker 6: a quarterback like this about it. They're about it, Bro,
- 15:26Speaker 6: I'm telling you that place is gonna be on fire.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I feel like the NFC East is just that is
- 15:30Speaker 2: like the media mecca for the NFL. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 15:33Speaker 6: Eagles seem to be like they're in trouble.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, absolutely, And but Baker Mayfield all the same
- 15:40Speaker 2: playing the Eagles this week seems like he's the fucking man.
- 15:42Speaker 6: Yeah, he bounced back. Did you see the Tom Brady
- 15:45Speaker 6: tape on the Leadership He was like, Hey, they want
- 15:48Speaker 6: me to come in, like basically bring the juice like
- 15:50Speaker 6: rig Night, And Tom Brady had the comment on his
- 15:55Speaker 6: commentary of like, you know, his his stress was not
- 15:59Speaker 6: having Super Bowl rings, Like it's not about having fun.
- 16:02Speaker 6: You're coming into work, You're coming in to get something done.
- 16:04Speaker 6: Like that's the mentality of a champion spoken like a
- 16:07Speaker 6: true goat. Yeah, like a true goat. What's your what's
- 16:09Speaker 6: your take on?
- 16:10Speaker 2: Like him?
- 16:11Speaker 6: I don't think he's taking a shot at Baker's leadership style.
- 16:13Speaker 6: I think he was just talking about it from his perspective.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I have to I saw I read the quote. I didn't.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I didn't see him actually saying it. It would have
- 16:21Speaker 2: to I would have to see like his tone of
- 16:22Speaker 2: voice when he's saying it, because yeah, I feel like
- 16:25Speaker 2: Tom is the type of guy that like will joke
- 16:27Speaker 2: around and have a good time with his boys, but
- 16:29Speaker 2: the minute like anybody comes at him, he's like he
- 16:31Speaker 2: kind of comes off as like a sensitive cat, like
- 16:32Speaker 2: he doesn't want if he's in the locker room, everyone's like,
- 16:35Speaker 2: you know, Tom, You're like this, I'm about winning, That's
- 16:37Speaker 2: what I'm about. Yeah, So it's kind of he fallows
- 16:38Speaker 2: back at a single time. There's more than one way
- 16:40Speaker 2: to skin a cat, right for sure. You can have
- 16:42Speaker 2: fun styles out there, get after it. I think you
- 16:45Speaker 2: see a big difference in Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Like Patrick Mahomes obviously has great leadership and he's got
- 16:50Speaker 2: an elite talent level, but they seem like they have
- 16:53Speaker 2: a little more fun at Kansas City than you would watch.
- 16:55Speaker 2: When Tom Brady was at the Patriots for twenty years,
- 16:58Speaker 2: or in Tampa Bay for a couple of years. He
- 17:01Speaker 2: was when they won a super Bowl. So you know,
- 17:03Speaker 2: if I'm Baker, I'm taking everything personal because you just
- 17:06Speaker 2: you continue to you know, you were the first overall
- 17:08Speaker 2: pick in Cleveland. Took him to a playoffs, they said, okay,
- 17:11Speaker 2: that's not good enough. He bounced around a little bit.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Now he finds a home in Tampa Bay, and he's
- 17:14Speaker 2: really just lighting it up. If I'm Baker and it
- 17:18Speaker 2: wasn't meant as a shot, I'm still taking as a shot,
- 17:20Speaker 2: Like now I have a vendetta against the goat and
- 17:22Speaker 2: I'm gonna put him wrong as well.
- 17:24Speaker 6: I could see it just being water off his back.
- 17:26Speaker 6: I mean, he he understands the spot he's in. He
- 17:28Speaker 6: understands the locker room as well as anybody else. He's
- 17:30Speaker 6: obviously the quarterback. He knows the juice that he brings.
- 17:33Speaker 6: So I'm sure if he hears that, I could easily
- 17:36Speaker 6: see it just being like, yeah, you understand Tom is
- 17:39Speaker 6: saying the comment that he is, but he's saying it
- 17:41Speaker 6: from Tom's world, and obviously you can't argue Tom's world.
- 17:43Speaker 6: He's got what seven Super Bowl rings, eight super Bowl rings.
- 17:47Speaker 6: But knowing Baker like he could, I mean, he understands
- 17:51Speaker 6: the post of the locker room better than anybody.
- 17:52Speaker 2: He understands his role.
- 17:54Speaker 6: I think he's completely comfortable in knowing that the way
- 17:57Speaker 6: he's doing is is totally like his way, you know
- 17:59Speaker 6: what I mean. It's so at the point that there's
- 18:01Speaker 6: a lot of different styles of leadership and everything else.
- 18:04Speaker 6: You got, like an older team, there could be some
- 18:06Speaker 6: times where you're around the same thing every year. You
- 18:08Speaker 6: lose a little bit of spark, you lose a little
- 18:10Speaker 6: bit of fun because of just the veteran mentality that
- 18:13Speaker 6: can kind of like sink into the place. And knowing
- 18:15Speaker 6: that Baker's kind of got that youth to him, that
- 18:17Speaker 6: fun where he talks shit, he's a little more savvy
- 18:19Speaker 6: about it. He puts your shoulder into somebody. He knows
- 18:21Speaker 6: that like that can ignite. Like then when you're a vet,
- 18:24Speaker 6: just in the monotony of professional football year in and
- 18:26Speaker 6: you're out day in and day out, you kind of
- 18:28Speaker 6: like see it and it kind of brings like that youth,
- 18:30Speaker 6: that youthism back to you on just having fun playing
- 18:33Speaker 6: the game.
- 18:33Speaker 2: The thing I love about Baker Mayfield is that being
- 18:35Speaker 2: a first overall pick and then being widely seen as
- 18:38Speaker 2: like a bust after the whole Cleveland thing, Like if
- 18:40Speaker 2: you think he was gonna take Cleveland, make him super
- 18:42Speaker 2: Bowl team over and over again. Right then he leaves
- 18:45Speaker 2: and has to go a bunch of different places. But
- 18:46Speaker 2: Baker hasn't changed him at all. Right, He hasn't like
- 18:48Speaker 2: tried to become something he's not to get away from
- 18:50Speaker 2: the the comments of like, oh he's you know, maybe
- 18:54Speaker 2: a distraction, he's a little too much about himself, those
- 18:56Speaker 2: types of things. He's just continued to be him and
- 18:58Speaker 2: just allowing us to show like, hey, you can act
- 19:02Speaker 2: this way and still be the fucking.
- 19:03Speaker 6: Exactly because you'll never I mean, there's no video evidence
- 19:06Speaker 6: of Tom Brady hitting like the gritty or hitting some
- 19:08Speaker 6: dance in front of the team and the team going nuts.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Like Baker's just got a difference. I think goes all
- 19:12Speaker 2: the way back to Oklahoma. Yeah, as a freshman circled
- 19:16Speaker 2: out doing the dance. Dude, it's cool too, like and
- 19:19Speaker 2: pivoting from that, like you's seeing a guy like Sam Darnold.
- 19:22Speaker 2: I was gonna say, Sam is like not near the
- 19:25Speaker 2: friend of the show, friend of the show. But he's
- 19:27Speaker 2: not near like the personality that Baker Mayfield is. But
- 19:30Speaker 2: I'm sure like he had to go through the same
- 19:32Speaker 2: like type of like mental trials and tribulations that Baker
- 19:34Speaker 2: went through as well, with everybody kind of shitting him.
- 19:37Speaker 2: He get him getting drafted to a big media market,
- 19:39Speaker 2: everyone kind of being like this guy, this is a guy.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Now He's like, no, he's not our guy. He's dead
- 19:43Speaker 2: to us. Carol Goes finds a home at the Vikings.
- 19:47Speaker 2: The Vikings draft to quarterback with maybe the future best
- 19:50Speaker 2: quarterback of all time.
- 19:51Speaker 6: We also spent time with Sam fran too. He's just
- 19:53Speaker 6: like the backup. He never got an opportunity behind Bro,
- 19:55Speaker 6: so he's just.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Been sitting and stewing and and anytime you're like if
- 20:00Speaker 2: you're viewed as a big time player and then all
- 20:03Speaker 2: of a sudden, everyone's like, you're actually not a big
- 20:04Speaker 2: time player, you're a bust. You can just have a
- 20:06Speaker 2: good back up sit in the shadows for that many
- 20:08Speaker 2: years and to come out and play the way he
- 20:10Speaker 2: is and before and oh with the Minnesota Vikings is
- 20:13Speaker 2: and still keep that mental my favorite story yeah right
- 20:15Speaker 2: now and still like keeping that mental fortitude of like,
- 20:18Speaker 2: you know, I can still do this shit.
- 20:19Speaker 6: I think he's with you know. This is a great
- 20:21Speaker 6: example too of being in the right situation right, coaching
- 20:24Speaker 6: too right. I mean, obviously you never want to see
- 20:26Speaker 6: anybody get hurt, but sometimes when you're a backup, like
- 20:29Speaker 6: when somebody gets hurt, that's your opportunity to come in.
- 20:31Speaker 6: And when JJ McCarthy went down, I don't think anybody
- 20:33Speaker 6: was crowning the Vikings as being a contender yet because like,
- 20:35Speaker 6: all right, rookie quarterback, let's see how he does, high
- 20:38Speaker 6: praise and everything else. It'll probably take a year he
- 20:40Speaker 6: goes down. Vikings are completely counted out of the conversation
- 20:44Speaker 6: in the NFC North with the Viight or with the Packers,
- 20:48Speaker 6: the Bears, the Lions. They're kind of like that. No
- 20:51Speaker 6: one's even talking about that, right, And here it's a
- 20:53Speaker 6: great division too, right, right, And for Sam to be
- 20:55Speaker 6: in that spot with that staff, you got Kevin O'Connell,
- 20:58Speaker 6: who's like a quarterback whispered also coach phenomenal, head coach
- 21:01Speaker 6: Wes Phillips, who's the OC. They've all came from that
- 21:04Speaker 6: webbing of Shanahan McVeigh, all that stuff, And for him.
- 21:07Speaker 6: This is a great example of just kind of being
- 21:08Speaker 6: in the right situation, the right opportunity, coming about keeping
- 21:11Speaker 6: that mental fortitude about you and taking advantage of your
- 21:14Speaker 6: fucking opportunity. He is playing tremendous Like he's somebody I
- 21:17Speaker 6: think he's got eleven touchdowns to three interceptions. He's truly
- 21:21Speaker 6: somebody that could be in the MVP conversation because everybody's like,
- 21:24Speaker 6: you know, they might drop one this weekend. They've handled business,
- 21:27Speaker 6: they can throw the ball well, they can run the
- 21:29Speaker 6: ball well, and they're playing great defense because flora is.
- 21:31Speaker 6: They're in the second year with Flora's system, Like he's
- 21:34Speaker 6: obviously showing that he's He's always been an incredible coordinator,
- 21:38Speaker 6: had his laps as a head coach down in Miami,
- 21:40Speaker 6: But it seems like the Vikings are like finding their
- 21:42Speaker 6: swing and they truly they could be the guys in
- 21:45Speaker 6: the NFC.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Yeah, Flora' has always done a great job of getting
- 21:48Speaker 2: his defensive lineman to be penetrating defensive lineman and just
- 21:50Speaker 2: messing up run games. Yeah, over and over play action
- 21:54Speaker 2: passes like he just kills it.
- 21:55Speaker 6: Imagine imagine a year of like the Buccaneers, the Washing
- 22:00Speaker 6: Commanders and the Minnesota Vikings are the three teams in
- 22:03Speaker 6: the NFC that.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Would be insane.
- 22:06Speaker 6: Imagine those three quarterbacks being up for the m v
- 22:08Speaker 6: P exactly, just crazy. That's the comeback story of the
- 22:11Speaker 6: year right there. Well, obviously Jane he's not coming back.
- 22:14Speaker 6: But Baker he got his big bag. He's still playing
- 22:16Speaker 6: very well. But can there be like, could Sam Darnold
- 22:19Speaker 6: be a comeback player of the Year, just based on based.
- 22:22Speaker 2: On yesterday, Like do you have to be injured or
- 22:27Speaker 2: sick or injured? What's the deal?
- 22:31Speaker 1: Dude?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Speaking of Joe, Anthony Richardson goes down and dude, we
- 22:38Speaker 2: were we were talking about the Titans for you. Anthony
- 22:41Speaker 2: Richardson goes down, and you know, half of the coaching
- 22:43Speaker 2: staff was like, Joe was going in there.
- 22:46Speaker 6: Yeah, you know that, like you know Flacco going in
- 22:48Speaker 6: what he did with the Browns last year. That everybody
- 22:51Speaker 6: in that locker room, everybody, everybody likes Anthony Richard wants
- 22:54Speaker 6: him to play.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Well.
- 22:55Speaker 6: He was the first he was their first run draft back.
- 22:56Speaker 6: He was hurt last year. The front office everybody wants
- 22:59Speaker 6: him to he's there right because he's there as a
- 23:02Speaker 6: first rounder. He's there as like your franchise quarterback. But
- 23:05Speaker 6: you know, even when he goes down and you have
- 23:07Speaker 6: somebody like Flacco on the roster, you know, everybody's kind
- 23:10Speaker 6: of just fired up because it's like, Yo, let's watch
- 23:12Speaker 6: Joe spin it again. And they might be a better
- 23:14Speaker 6: football team now with Joe Flacco under center because Anthony Richardson,
- 23:19Speaker 6: as much as much of a high ceiling that he has,
- 23:22Speaker 6: there are intermediate throws and stuff that he you know,
- 23:24Speaker 6: everybody kind of talks about his accuracy a little bit.
- 23:26Speaker 6: With Joe, the entire playbook pretty much opens now because
- 23:30Speaker 6: he's been in systems, he's been He's he's cut his
- 23:33Speaker 6: teeth in this game for so long. Like he knows
- 23:35Speaker 6: everybody's playbook. You know, he can take shots, intermediate passes,
- 23:39Speaker 6: run game. He doesn't have the legs that Anthony Richardson does,
- 23:42Speaker 6: But you got a guy who can legitimately make you contender,
- 23:45Speaker 6: and you get a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, who
- 23:47Speaker 6: has the best the best defense in the league maybe
- 23:51Speaker 6: the Vikings do, but one of the best defenses in
- 23:53Speaker 6: the league, and to beat their ass by the way too.
- 23:56Speaker 6: I did pick and I did bet on the Colts
- 23:59Speaker 6: really just want to you've had you had a big week. Yeah,
- 24:04Speaker 6: oh obviously we'll get to college football.
- 24:06Speaker 2: But I had a big week in college the Colts.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Literally the only thing that like the book closes on
- 24:10Speaker 2: when Anthony Richardson is out and Joe Fly who goes
- 24:11Speaker 2: in is the RPO. After that, it's like you can
- 24:14Speaker 2: literally sling it and Anthony Richardson like he's still got it,
- 24:16Speaker 2: like you said, a lot of ceiling high, like a
- 24:18Speaker 2: very high talented individual. And you see like these kind
- 24:21Speaker 2: of circus throws off his back foot early in the season,
- 24:24Speaker 2: but then you go watch the entire game and it's
- 24:25Speaker 2: like he's kind of missing it here, missing it there,
- 24:28Speaker 2: but you can see it in those couple of throws
- 24:30Speaker 2: and held go, holy shit, this guy could be a guy.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I think he could just set his feet, step into
- 24:35Speaker 2: his throat and have like accuracy on the regular place
- 24:37Speaker 2: as well. Yeah, because Joe, Joe might be the man again, dude,
- 24:41Speaker 2: he might the life Joe. When we enter up this
- 24:45Speaker 2: episode to bring you something near and dear to our hearts,
- 24:47Speaker 2: and that's game Time. You thought Game time was easy

- 25:26Speaker 2: I was like, yo, let me jump on the game
- 25:27Speaker 2: time app. Got that and I you know what I saw?

- 26:00Speaker 2: coming up pretty soon. Gotta get those tickets now, game
- 26:02Speaker 2: time picks. Now back to the episode, Holy shit, ho
- 26:06Speaker 2: stuff sliding? What time is it? Game time? Yeah? Oh,
- 26:14Speaker 2: game time.
- 26:16Speaker 6: Speaking of struggling, Michigan struggle a little bit against Minnesota.
- 26:20Speaker 2: We had we had a bad fourth quarter. We had
- 26:23Speaker 2: a bad fourth quarter. The boys were up twenty four
- 26:25Speaker 2: to three. Oh, I was, yeah, I was. We were
- 26:28Speaker 2: watching the game together. Yeah, we're up twenty four to three.
- 26:30Speaker 6: They got an onside kick, very questionable off side penalty.
- 26:36Speaker 2: A lot of different calls could have got in a
- 26:37Speaker 2: lot different ways that game. I'm very happy that the
- 26:39Speaker 2: Brown jug as it should be, stays in and arbor, Michigan.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Great ball game.
- 26:44Speaker 6: Throw out the records, throw out the talent.
- 26:46Speaker 2: We are the brown ball team to not throw the
- 26:48Speaker 2: ball in the entire country. Yeah. No, one runs it
- 26:51Speaker 2: better than us, consistently better than us. This Mullen's kid
- 26:56Speaker 2: might be a Heisman Trophy candidate, might be Heiden Trophy
- 27:00Speaker 2: behind Travis Hunter. Right now, I'm just saying it's a
- 27:02Speaker 2: good ball club up there in A two. We're doing
- 27:04Speaker 2: good things. And a couple of weeks ago, a lot
- 27:07Speaker 2: of boys back there and over to my right, we're
- 27:09Speaker 2: talking a little bit about Michigan, saying they're going to
- 27:11Speaker 2: struggle this Minnesota is gonna be a problem. They weren't
- 27:14Speaker 2: even a problem. It was nothing good, that was nothing
- 27:17Speaker 2: the entire time. Oh no, being ten and one going
- 27:21Speaker 2: into the game, very alive. Yeah, man, but the scoreboard
- 27:28Speaker 2: doesn't tell. And also they don't ask how, they ask
- 27:30Speaker 2: how many? Sure? Right for sure? Because we could literally
- 27:33Speaker 2: say the same thing about Georgia. Alabama. Gee, yes, except
- 27:39Speaker 2: what do you mean, dude, the frozen tundra. Those boys
- 27:43Speaker 2: are built different in Minnesota. Alabama was stomping that ass
- 27:47Speaker 2: against Georgia, and then all of a sudden they let
- 27:48Speaker 2: Georgia come back. Lord, Georgia takes the lead late in
- 27:50Speaker 2: the game. Seventeen year old kids said, let me go
- 27:53Speaker 2: and put the crimson tight on my back.
- 27:55Speaker 6: That game was incredible. Ryan Williams could play in the
- 27:59Speaker 6: NFL right now. I'm seventeen years old. It's insane, dude.
- 28:03Speaker 2: The kid, as a freshman in high school, qualified for
- 28:07Speaker 2: the six A Alabama state championship in the one hundred
- 28:09Speaker 2: meter and the two hundred meter. He is a specimen.
- 28:12Speaker 2: He is him.
- 28:13Speaker 6: When he caught that one like back shoulder and stopped
- 28:17Speaker 6: on a dime, made two defensive backs like not linebackers,
- 28:20Speaker 6: not de lineman run into each other. Yeah, other athletes
- 28:23Speaker 6: stop and start and excel and go score like his
- 28:27Speaker 6: ability is incredible. And then that one over the middle,
- 28:29Speaker 6: that deep one over the middle that was bouncing and
- 28:31Speaker 6: to keep his coordination and catch the ball like Ryan
- 28:33Speaker 6: Williams is insane. And then his trolling job. Did you
- 28:37Speaker 6: see his troll with beating Georgie. He put a profile
- 28:41Speaker 6: picture of Michael Vick like holding the puppy. Like having
- 28:44Speaker 6: that type of pro troll mentality at the age of
- 28:48Speaker 6: seventeen is iconic. Like he's building something extremely special. All
- 28:53Speaker 6: my stock I am in on Ryan Williams.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Yeah, for him to catch that seventy five yard bomb
- 28:59Speaker 2: from Jalen Milroe, do a half spin freeze in the
- 29:02Speaker 2: air and you see him look back like where are
- 29:04Speaker 2: they at? Then spin back. He was literally defined gravity.
- 29:09Speaker 2: It was the most incredible thing I've ever seen.
- 29:11Speaker 6: And Jalen Milroe learn to throw. I mean he's like
- 29:15Speaker 6: out running sec defenses like to the sideline, walk in
- 29:19Speaker 6: the tightrope very quickly and just accelerating like he is
- 29:23Speaker 6: insane as well, and he can throw the ball very well. Yeah,
- 29:28Speaker 6: Alabama looks tough. Alabama looks tough. I was surprised to
- 29:31Speaker 6: see Georgia come back and get the lead back and
- 29:34Speaker 6: everything else because you guys started fast and looked like,
- 29:36Speaker 6: oh you had dude is like step on their throat.
- 29:38Speaker 2: But that game was I mean, that was a classic. Yeah,
- 29:41Speaker 2: I think, I.
- 29:42Speaker 9: Mean, obviously it doesn't matter how but you got the dub.
- 29:46Speaker 9: I think the one thing we learned was like you
- 29:49Speaker 9: just can never let off the gas, especially when you're
- 29:51Speaker 9: playing Georgia.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah, like or Minnesota one hundred percent.
- 29:54Speaker 9: Like Minnesota or Georgia, same difference, but there was I've
- 29:58Speaker 9: obviously watched it two three times since then, but there's
- 30:01Speaker 9: a couple of drives where you're like, you know, you
- 30:03Speaker 9: can't be greedy, but you're like, man, if we could
- 30:05Speaker 9: have just scored on this one, like you could have
- 30:07Speaker 9: put them away not knowing what's coming, but insane atmosphere
- 30:12Speaker 9: like it just you know, I love seeing coach get
- 30:15Speaker 9: fired up on a p I call and like you know,
- 30:18Speaker 9: the team just rallies around him. But yeah, I mean,
- 30:21Speaker 9: you couldn't ask for a better first quarter.
- 30:23Speaker 4: Who's the quarterback for Georgia was his name, Carson Beck?
- 30:26Speaker 2: Carson Beck. He had a couple of miscues too, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 30:31Speaker 2: I mean.
- 30:33Speaker 6: Because they were they were coming back, like that game
- 30:35Speaker 6: was all yeah, sure.
- 30:36Speaker 9: Once they started taking their shots, it was like all right, fuck, yeah,
- 30:40Speaker 9: let's just yeah, of course, he's.
- 30:43Speaker 6: Like I almost I almost cashed out on my five
- 30:46Speaker 6: leg parlay because that game was so close. I had
- 30:49Speaker 6: like two fifty on this five leg parlay. It was
- 30:51Speaker 6: Nebraska to win, Michigan to win, Alabama to win, Kansas
- 30:56Speaker 6: State to win, and Notre Dame to win.
- 30:59Speaker 2: So Alabama was the last game.
- 31:00Speaker 6: Yeah, and I put two fifty on it to win,
- 31:03Speaker 6: like sixteen to fifty, and the cash out was flirting
- 31:06Speaker 6: around one thousand dollars, one thousand and forty dollars, and
- 31:08Speaker 6: I was flirting with it because I didn't know how
- 31:10Speaker 6: that game was gonna go.
- 31:10Speaker 2: But all the boys are like, no, you have to
- 31:12Speaker 2: run a couple of guys. That's not true. A couple
- 31:13Speaker 2: of guys.
- 31:14Speaker 6: Couple guys.
- 31:15Speaker 9: Yeah, but it was like you should have won more
- 31:18Speaker 9: than what you won.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Right, Well, when Georgia scored late, scored late on like
- 31:23Speaker 2: really quick, willly fast. I looked at Will was like,
- 31:24Speaker 2: that's perfect for your parlay. That's exactly. Yeah, that was
- 31:27Speaker 2: the closest margin of ver though.
- 31:29Speaker 6: I think the it was almost like a pick him
- 31:31Speaker 6: where Bamar was favored by two or something like that,
- 31:34Speaker 6: Like Michigan had a bigger one, Nebraska had a bigger
- 31:37Speaker 6: spread to cover. But I and I just I just
- 31:40Speaker 6: chose money lines, like I didn't pick them covering right
- 31:43Speaker 6: because you guys didn't cover.
- 31:44Speaker 2: No, we didn't. We were covering until the end. Yeah,
- 31:48Speaker 2: Georgia of the North, Georgia of the North Minnesota. That's great.
- 31:52Speaker 2: That's a good call.
- 31:52Speaker 7: Ge.
- 31:53Speaker 8: You all haven't seen it the uh that final Ryan
- 31:57Speaker 8: Williams play. Did you all see the Japanese comings?
- 32:01Speaker 2: No?
- 32:01Speaker 8: On that it's crazy. Play makes a play, It makes
- 32:04Speaker 8: a play that much better.
- 32:05Speaker 2: They just losing their minds.
- 32:07Speaker 8: Oh, losing their minds. What they say, like, well, can
- 32:10Speaker 8: we play the audio? We can't play. We could maybe
- 32:13Speaker 8: put it in posts play clip now, but it makes
- 32:19Speaker 8: it that much better.
- 32:20Speaker 2: They went crazy.
- 32:23Speaker 6: Hey, big bounce back, Big bounce back, win from Nebraska
- 32:25Speaker 6: handle business Purdue. It was closer for a second. Pridue
- 32:28Speaker 6: is up on It's like three to oh. I think,
- 32:30Speaker 6: what was zero zero going in a half? Seven seven punts,
- 32:33Speaker 6: three missfield goals. I mean, guys, we've had some special
- 32:38Speaker 6: teams woes in the in recent years, Like I mean,
- 32:46Speaker 6: if we, if we, I'm just saying I never want
- 32:49Speaker 6: to go after a college kids for missing field goals.
- 32:53Speaker 6: But that is something you just you know, we gotta
- 32:56Speaker 6: get We have to get corrected because he obviously lost
- 32:59Speaker 6: us the game by now making that game winning field
- 33:01Speaker 6: goal against Illinois. Then you go in you still got
- 33:03Speaker 6: the yips carrying over into Purdue, and you missed the
- 33:05Speaker 6: two field goals in the first half. Like Brett Mahart
- 33:08Speaker 6: just got hired there as like the consultant to coach kickers, Brett.
- 33:12Speaker 2: We need to have that ship right.
- 33:14Speaker 6: But but nonetheless, big win. I think what twenty eight
- 33:18Speaker 6: to ten, massive fourth quarter for us. We finally woke
- 33:21Speaker 6: up Dan Raila's first game on the road. It was
- 33:24Speaker 6: Nebraska's first game of the year, first game on the
- 33:26Speaker 6: road this year.
- 33:28Speaker 2: We got a big one.
- 33:29Speaker 6: We got a big one with who I think we
- 33:31Speaker 6: got Rutgers this week, Rutgers in Indiana, both teams undefeated.
- 33:36Speaker 6: Indiana is nice, man, Big is becoming solid. Yeah, we
- 33:43Speaker 6: have a solid middle class in the Big Ten because
- 33:45Speaker 6: Rutgers undefeated, Indiana's undefeated. Indiana does look really good. What's
- 33:50Speaker 6: the line right now for Rutgers Nebraska? Yeah, I'm not
- 33:53Speaker 6: sure USC knuck one out. Wisconsin was in their ass, bro,
- 33:58Speaker 6: but then they just came alive and second half.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I mean Wisconsin really had them on the
- 34:05Speaker 2: ropes and they could not put it together. It would
- 34:08Speaker 2: have been great to see like USC just go completely
- 34:11Speaker 2: defeated an all pay ten players. Right, Hey, welcome to
- 34:13Speaker 2: big boy Paul right, welcome, But fickle man, he hasn't
- 34:17Speaker 2: really putting it together in Wisconsin at all. I know
- 34:20Speaker 2: he needs to get that going. We had some stuff
- 34:22Speaker 2: going on with the Wi FI. Man, it is tough
- 34:24Speaker 2: out here, hey, JP.
- 34:26Speaker 6: South Carolina is looking a lot better the way Kentucky's
- 34:29Speaker 6: been playing upset over Old miss which nobody's saw coming.
- 34:33Speaker 10: People are refusing to give us our credit for that
- 34:35Speaker 10: win too, which is wild, like and nobody is talking
- 34:40Speaker 10: about it was It's always a fluke, like, Oh dang,
- 34:43Speaker 10: how did South Carolina beat him that bad?
- 34:45Speaker 1: Maybe we've beat him that bad because.
- 34:47Speaker 10: We're really good.
- 34:48Speaker 6: Maybe you guys actually have a squad, might have actually,
- 34:52Speaker 6: lu So, I would have preferred to play Ole Miss
- 34:55Speaker 6: if Ole Miss was undefeated, because I always love handed
- 34:58Speaker 6: teams their first loss.
- 34:59Speaker 10: Sorry in advanced Garrett in Obama. Yeah, but we'll go
- 35:02Speaker 10: ahead and bury Oh missus playoff chances. Yeah, Beemer, tell
- 35:08Speaker 10: the team bring the shovels because it's over and we
- 35:11Speaker 10: would be spreading dirt on the rebels.
- 35:13Speaker 2: But yeah, dude, just poetically murdering a team right now.
- 35:19Speaker 10: It's it's looking nice if we got our quarterback and
- 35:21Speaker 10: running back back and we get a dub over Oh Miss.
- 35:24Speaker 10: I do love the time of year. We're playing Alabama
- 35:27Speaker 10: because they have Tennessee right after us, and we are
- 35:31Speaker 10: definitely a team that they could probably overlook.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Right So I like.
- 35:36Speaker 10: Where we're at right now.
- 35:37Speaker 2: You're in a good spot.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Gotta beat Ole Miss.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Jack. You gotta be feeling good with Tennessee. Man, they're
- 35:42Speaker 2: in the top five now, yeah, yeah, number four right now.
- 35:45Speaker 11: It's just nice to have a stress free weekend. We
- 35:47Speaker 11: had the bye week and the Titans obviously played yesterday
- 35:50Speaker 11: Monday night. But to not have a Saturday and Sunday
- 35:53Speaker 11: just stressfest. It's it's beautiful. It's like you remember what
- 35:58Speaker 11: the weekends are like. We've only been in this for
- 36:00Speaker 11: a month five weeks now, so but it's nice. We
- 36:03Speaker 11: got some rest going into Arkansas. Playing in Arkansas, I
- 36:06Speaker 11: feel like they always kind of play pretty tough nose ball.
- 36:10Speaker 11: So every game moving forward, you know, you just got
- 36:13Speaker 11: a oh and oh so. But I was happy to
- 36:15Speaker 11: see Bama win for the reason because October nineteen, third
- 36:19Speaker 11: Saturday in October, when Tennessee and Alabama play, Texas and
- 36:22Speaker 11: Georgia also play.
- 36:24Speaker 6: So the fact that Georgia.
- 36:25Speaker 11: Is now one loss team you want, you want to
- 36:28Speaker 11: be in that primetime slot, especially for US. Yeah, we
- 36:32Speaker 11: want to have the biggest possible energy going into that game.
- 36:35Speaker 6: But JP saying it might not even be the case
- 36:37Speaker 6: because the game Cocks might be slide one in on Alabama.
- 36:41Speaker 11: Who knows, who knows? I mean, Texas too kind of looked.
- 36:45Speaker 11: They didn't look bad by any means. The final score
- 36:47Speaker 11: doesn't I feel like reflect the game they had against Michigan.
- 36:51Speaker 11: But Mississippi State is undeniably bad, and I was kind
- 36:56Speaker 11: of shocked that Texas had them what was like fourteen
- 36:59Speaker 11: to seven and the going yeah, six, seven and a half,
- 37:02Speaker 11: and obviously they turn on the Jets. But uh, I'd
- 37:04Speaker 11: love to see a Texas loss too before we go
- 37:07Speaker 11: in the next few weeks. Well, yeah, it's nice to
- 37:09Speaker 11: have a little bit of confidence. But the Titans on
- 37:15Speaker 11: Monday Night, historically we are awesome against the Dolphins on
- 37:19Speaker 11: Monday Night were three and one. So this would be
- 37:22Speaker 11: the most hilarious and classic Titans event to go when
- 37:25Speaker 11: we've had some embarrassing losses in the last few weeks
- 37:29Speaker 11: and then go in and take care of business. But
- 37:31Speaker 11: I don't know it'll happen.
- 37:33Speaker 2: It's so weird, huh. I just feel it was the
- 37:36Speaker 2: yips a little bit.
- 37:37Speaker 11: He does have the yips right now, and especially now
- 37:39Speaker 11: our only primetime game of the year, when like he's
- 37:43Speaker 11: under a microscope, which I almost feel for the kid,
- 37:45Speaker 11: because any small mistake he's gonna make is going to
- 37:49Speaker 11: be just blown out of proportion, whether it's just fight
- 37:51Speaker 11: or not. But if he makes one just dumb play,
- 37:55Speaker 11: he's a meme again, and it's.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Just a snowball effect.
- 37:58Speaker 11: So we need one clean game from him where he
- 38:00Speaker 11: just plays well, stays in the pocket. Hopefully the old
- 38:02Speaker 11: line can protect him enough. And on the on the
- 38:05Speaker 11: grand stage, hopefully kid a fucking win.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Yeah. I talk about guys that are taking shots left
- 38:11Speaker 2: and right, and PF is getting destroyed on Twitter right now,
- 38:15Speaker 2: and I just know how that boy feels. Nicholas petite
- 38:19Speaker 2: foreir the right tackle for the Titans. It's listen, brother,
- 38:22Speaker 2: you see this clip. I've been there. Just keep fighting
- 38:25Speaker 2: through their friends, just keep treasure through the mud. It'll
- 38:28Speaker 2: get better, I promise. That is the worst feeling in
- 38:31Speaker 2: the world to have everybody against you. You're gonna be
- 38:34Speaker 2: a right though. A couple of things do we talked
- 38:36Speaker 2: about last week's podcast, like Nicholas needs to just clean
- 38:40Speaker 2: up a couple of things. From a technique standpoint, it's
- 38:42Speaker 2: the easiest thing to do and keep the confidence, which
- 38:44Speaker 2: is the most difficult thing to do.
- 38:45Speaker 6: I actually have a bone to pick with you. Jack
- 38:48Speaker 6: going into it says, we've obviously been talking Tennessee and
- 38:50Speaker 6: college football because you look at k State taking care
- 38:52Speaker 6: of business after old boy put the burrito in his ass,
- 38:55Speaker 6: and then you got Florida State. He hasn't he hasn't
- 38:57Speaker 6: eaten his shit yet and they're still an oh, but
- 39:00Speaker 6: I'll do that after I read this DraftKings ad. Because,
- 39:02Speaker 6: by the way, your boy is hot on college football.
- 39:04Speaker 6: I just I do want you to know that I
- 39:06Speaker 6: also had the Indianapolis Colts pick, but td Tuddy taking
- 39:11Speaker 6: it to the house in for six whatever you call
- 39:13Speaker 6: touchdown one. Thanks for sure. Touchdowns matter more at DraftKings

- 40:07Speaker 2: And the Titans need a win tonight, dude, they need
- 40:11Speaker 2: a win otherwise. Joe Flack on the Colts, c J
- 40:15Speaker 2: Stroud the Texans?
- 40:17Speaker 6: And then La Jack, have you done anything to make
- 40:20Speaker 6: amends with that Titans loss last week? And here's the
- 40:23Speaker 6: only reason I ask. Here's the only reason I asked.
- 40:27Speaker 6: I know, but here's the only reason I ask. The
- 40:29Speaker 6: Florida State. You know that curse of the kid not
- 40:33Speaker 6: eating the poop?
- 40:33Speaker 2: There?
- 40:34Speaker 6: They still suck and hauls.
- 40:36Speaker 11: Fall for me at this point, the Titans lose, so
- 40:39Speaker 11: I have I have other things that.
- 40:41Speaker 2: And who's a team with the burrito in their ass?
- 40:45Speaker 1: Just your I don't know. I forget who it was?
- 40:47Speaker 1: Boston College?
- 40:49Speaker 2: No, not Joe. What's up?
- 40:52Speaker 1: How are we doing?
- 40:52Speaker 6: Brol We got you saw you got your spot.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Who's who's the burrito? Cur Ta?
- 41:08Speaker 6: Kansas State? Hey Jack, Kansas State? The burrito curse happened
- 41:12Speaker 6: where he said he'd shove a burrito up his ass.
- 41:13Speaker 6: If they lost last week, he shoves a burrito up
- 41:16Speaker 6: his ass. They end up beating the hell out of
- 41:18Speaker 6: Oklahoma State.
- 41:19Speaker 2: So that's the only reason.
- 41:19Speaker 6: I asked if you've made amends, because it seems like
- 41:21Speaker 6: this curse stuff is real.
- 41:23Speaker 11: So do you want me to kill myself to amend
- 41:26Speaker 11: this curse?
- 41:29Speaker 2: Said?
- 41:29Speaker 11: You do that, but the Titans as much as the
- 41:32Speaker 11: next guy.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Let's give you some context.
- 41:35Speaker 1: I got I got it, you got it. You want
- 41:38Speaker 1: me to murder him?
- 41:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Unfortunately has to be self inflicted for Jack to.
- 41:42Speaker 6: Jack said, if Malik Willis and the Green Bay Packers,
- 41:45Speaker 6: Malik Willis used to play here. He said, if Malik
- 41:47Speaker 6: Willis and the Packers beat the Titans, he will kill himself. Really,
- 41:50Speaker 6: the Packers won, So not that we don't want Jack
- 41:53Speaker 6: to actually love himself.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Yeah, nobody's saying that, but we are saying you said it.
- 41:58Speaker 2: But of your word. There are curses out there.
- 42:02Speaker 6: Florida State they lost their very first game and somebody
- 42:06Speaker 6: on the internet said that they would eat some dog
- 42:08Speaker 6: ship if they lost. He never ate the dog shit.
- 42:10Speaker 6: They're still winless. Kansas State they lost a couple of
- 42:14Speaker 6: weeks ago, and the curse out there was I will
- 42:17Speaker 6: shove a burrito in my ass if we lose. They lost,
- 42:20Speaker 6: he shoves the burrito in his ass. They beat the
- 42:22Speaker 6: ship out of Oklahoma State this week. So I'm trying
- 42:24Speaker 6: to ask Jack if he's doing anything to break this
- 42:27Speaker 6: curse because of the Titans losing. I do feel like
- 42:29Speaker 6: all eyes will be on Jack to help.
- 42:31Speaker 1: The curse being broken.
- 42:32Speaker 11: With me being publicly hating Will Levis again, look.
- 42:35Speaker 1: At this, that's a guy a burrito in a person's ass.
- 42:40Speaker 2: That's a perfect way for all the people listening on
- 42:43Speaker 2: the show. Joan, what do you think that is a
- 42:48Speaker 2: full double meat?
- 42:51Speaker 1: That burrito was actually pretty insane. That didn't shake out, just.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Tightly wound, tightly wound burrito.
- 43:00Speaker 6: You want perfect for him to come in on some
- 43:01Speaker 6: prank stuff like that, of course, I mean this is
- 43:03Speaker 6: the guy who's an icon.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Well, I want to be clear, I've never seen the
- 43:06Speaker 1: real never once.
- 43:10Speaker 7: Let me be clear.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Yeah, man, thanks for happy, This is awesome.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Glad have you so you're in town your tour right now?
- 43:15Speaker 1: Yeah? I was in Chattanooga last night.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 43:17Speaker 1: How was that so fun?
- 43:18Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 43:19Speaker 1: Yeah, really good? I got my let's get into a
- 43:20Speaker 1: tour just kicked off. So that's on touring with the
- 43:23Speaker 1: brand new Hour. It's it's been fun man.
- 43:25Speaker 6: This one's dropping tomorrow. So what spots are you going to?
- 43:28Speaker 2: Here?
- 43:29Speaker 1: Nowhere? Here, I'll be back through. But ok yeah I
- 43:33Speaker 1: have I'm I'm in different you know, it's a country
- 43:35Speaker 1: wide thing, so I'm going everywhere.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Where you go.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Next, next is uh, let's see what's next? Next is oh,
- 43:42Speaker 1: actually next weekend is Memphis. I'm in Memphis, and then
- 43:46Speaker 1: I'm in Saint Louis, Lawrenceburg and one more show and
- 43:51Speaker 1: I forget where. But it's Joe Gatto official dot COM's
- 43:53Speaker 1: got all the places.
- 43:54Speaker 6: Joe gattoo Official.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Not Joe Gatto dot Com. I don't know that guy.
- 43:58Speaker 2: Okay, I get after him.
- 43:59Speaker 1: He's ibably showing Burrito's places they shouldn't be.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds you have a great team around you
- 44:04Speaker 2: to be like, I really don't know where I'm going.
- 44:05Speaker 2: There just taking me to go. Yeah, no doubt about it.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Have you noticed it's been doing doing what you do now?
- 44:11Speaker 2: In practical jokers? What has been the hardest transition for
- 44:14Speaker 2: you in.
- 44:14Speaker 1: This being by yourself? For sure?
- 44:16Speaker 7: Right?
- 44:16Speaker 2: You know?
- 44:16Speaker 1: With your you're with your friends all the time, and
- 44:18Speaker 1: that was the hardest part. So I started stand up
- 44:20Speaker 1: three years ago with my first tour, and that was
- 44:23Speaker 1: the biggest thing. I've been performing live my whole life.
- 44:26Speaker 1: But just to be on stage by yourself and be
- 44:28Speaker 1: responsible for the full sixty minutes, that's like, you know,
- 44:30Speaker 1: that's a big change.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:32Speaker 6: Yeah. I have a squad with like production and everything else,
- 44:35Speaker 6: to where you kind of know what's coming to you.
- 44:36Speaker 1: In a microphone. It's pretty interesting. But the cool thing
- 44:39Speaker 1: is that you're like able to when it sucks, it's
- 44:42Speaker 1: your fault, but when it's great, it's your fault too.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Like you don't have to share any exaccolade. So you
- 44:46Speaker 1: come off stage sometimes like, wow, that was a really
- 44:48Speaker 1: great show. So yeah, that that part of it was
- 44:50Speaker 1: really fun.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Has comedy always been something you've been interested in?
- 44:53Speaker 1: It was always a side gig, It was always a
- 44:55Speaker 1: side hustle for a long time. Me and the guy started,
- 44:57Speaker 1: you know, you know, decades ago at this point. But
- 44:59Speaker 1: I I always just did it for love of just
- 45:02Speaker 1: making people laugh. And and then I got the opportunity
- 45:06Speaker 1: to quit my day job and I took the leap,
- 45:08Speaker 1: and I'm glad it. I'm glad it panned out.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Well. Was the day job?
- 45:11Speaker 1: I was selling high end baby gear and baby furniture
- 45:14Speaker 1: for a company called Giggle. That's right. Yeah, I was
- 45:18Speaker 1: a salesman the rich moms selling all yeah, all the
- 45:21Speaker 1: baby bjorns, those baby carriers and all that stuff. You know,
- 45:24Speaker 1: the bugaboo chill and all that stuff.
- 45:26Speaker 2: So I did.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I did that and during a two week I took
- 45:29Speaker 1: my vacation to film the pilot. My two week vacation. Yeah,
- 45:32Speaker 1: and then when we got the series, I was I
- 45:34Speaker 1: went for a six I said to the CEO, I'm like, yeah,
- 45:36Speaker 1: I got to take a six month hiatus. And she's like,
- 45:38Speaker 1: so you're quitting. I was like, no, hiatus.
- 45:42Speaker 2: I need the option to come back if I need.
- 45:44Speaker 7: I know.
- 45:44Speaker 1: She's like, well, no, I can't leave your job empty
- 45:46Speaker 1: for six months. Good luck to you. It panned out,
- 45:48Speaker 1: so I'm not back to selling baby stuff yet.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Yeah, no, doubts still working out. So you feel you
- 45:52Speaker 2: go take a two week vacation, you film this pilot.
- 45:55Speaker 2: How long do you have to wait for this pilot
- 45:57Speaker 2: to come out when you're still just selling baby stuff? Yeah?
- 46:00Speaker 1: It was pretty quick. Actually, they made the decision real quick.
- 46:02Speaker 1: It was only I think about a month and a
- 46:04Speaker 1: half maybe two months. The pilot wasn't super hard to edit.
- 46:07Speaker 1: It kind of made itself like we knew the structure
- 46:10Speaker 1: of it. You know, we didn't get we didn't have
- 46:11Speaker 1: a lot of money, so we didn't film that much. Yeah,
- 46:13Speaker 1: just filmed enough to make the pilot and it was
- 46:17Speaker 1: pretty quick. And then the offer came real quick, and
- 46:19Speaker 1: it was like, okay, what are gonna do. You're gonna
- 46:20Speaker 1: quit your job. And I was the only one that
- 46:22Speaker 1: had to quit because Saloed owned a bar and you know,
- 46:25Speaker 1: a comedy venue at that point, and he was bartending
- 46:28Speaker 1: and doing that so he could do overnight. Q was
- 46:30Speaker 1: a fireman. He would do his twenty fours and come
- 46:32Speaker 1: and film. And Murr worked for the production company that
- 46:35Speaker 1: ended up producing the show.
- 46:36Speaker 2: So it was just like so I.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Was the first one I had to like. I was
- 46:39Speaker 1: like all in. I was like all right, I'm I
- 46:40Speaker 1: was like, guys, this has to work.
- 46:43Speaker 2: On the boys, right.
- 46:44Speaker 1: But it was good because I always had an affinity
- 46:46Speaker 1: for production directing, so I was able to jump in
- 46:49Speaker 1: in a different capacity and learn all that and do that,
- 46:51Speaker 1: which was I liked arguably as much. Yeah, being in
- 46:55Speaker 1: front of the camera.
- 46:55Speaker 2: So did Mr approach the production company with the idea
- 46:59Speaker 2: or how did the idea?
- 47:00Speaker 1: MURR was in like development stuff and he was realizing
- 47:03Speaker 1: that they were there was an itch for like a
- 47:05Speaker 1: new type of prank show, and we didn't want to
- 47:07Speaker 1: do a prank show. We make people feel bad, and
- 47:09Speaker 1: we're like, you know what, why don't we just do
- 47:10Speaker 1: embarrassment comedies always? Allright? I made these guys laugh anyway,
- 47:13Speaker 1: like sal and you know que and all. They would
- 47:14Speaker 1: hate to be an elevator with me or like the
- 47:16Speaker 1: subway because I knew we're in a closed space. I
- 47:18Speaker 1: was just gonna act the full and you're gonna have fun.
- 47:20Speaker 1: So the doors would shut. They would just turn beat
- 47:22Speaker 1: red and starts sweating immediately because they knew I was
- 47:24Speaker 1: gonna start doing something. So we just like, let's just
- 47:27Speaker 1: do what we do and we filmed this is a
- 47:29Speaker 1: real with our iPhones. Times Square just went through and
- 47:33Speaker 1: that's awesome.
- 47:33Speaker 2: That's awesome. And you do notice my wife and I
- 47:36Speaker 2: went through a phase of just watching that show endlessly
- 47:38Speaker 2: at night, literally laughing like out loud to each other.
- 47:41Speaker 2: And you noticed that you personally like, and this is
- 47:43Speaker 2: a math, compliments are the most shameless of the flame
- 47:47Speaker 2: you were you were willing to really go above and beyond.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I just didn't. I always did that like anyway.
- 47:52Speaker 1: So it really wasn't the good thing about the show
- 47:54Speaker 1: for me. And I'm not an actor. I wouldn't act.
- 47:56Speaker 1: I never had. I never wanted to be in front
- 47:57Speaker 1: of the camera. I was able just to make my
- 47:59Speaker 1: friends laugh, be me. I had fun with it, and
- 48:01Speaker 1: then we were able to build all these weird characters
- 48:03Speaker 1: and do all this fun stuff. So it just became
- 48:04Speaker 1: like a playground, you know. So it's funny because people like, oh,
- 48:07Speaker 1: it's like just hidden cameras and no, there's so much writing, producing,
- 48:10Speaker 1: production that went into it, developing of all these characters' ideas, writing,
- 48:14Speaker 1: But we wanted to keep it looking like you just
- 48:16Speaker 1: went up there and.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Yeah you did stuff.
- 48:17Speaker 1: But then stuff happens. We're like, you have all this
- 48:20Speaker 1: thing planned out. This woman walks in with a huge
- 48:22Speaker 1: hat and you're like, okay, well I'm gonna have to
- 48:23Speaker 1: get that hat on me. You know, it always out
- 48:25Speaker 1: of the window. It just happens. That was the fun
- 48:27Speaker 1: part of it too, was there.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Ever, what was like the couple of Top three moments
- 48:31Speaker 2: where you're like, I really do not want to do this,
- 48:33Speaker 2: but I'm gonna do it.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Early on, I remembered like, you'll find your role, right,
- 48:39Speaker 1: and I all knew when they were getting to punishment,
- 48:41Speaker 1: it was always more fun to make them laugh and
- 48:44Speaker 1: own it, and I would always be able to get
- 48:46Speaker 1: through it being able to be like, oh, this would
- 48:48Speaker 1: be better if I just go buck wild. So once
- 48:51Speaker 1: I figured that out, I was like, Okay, this is insanity.
- 48:53Speaker 1: I remember one of the first punishments we did ever.
- 48:55Speaker 1: It was we were doing strip high five in Union Square.
- 48:58Speaker 1: So me and Marty is just stupid thing. We both lost,
- 49:01Speaker 1: and we had to get high five from people as
- 49:02Speaker 1: they walked in, and if they didn't high five you, you
- 49:04Speaker 1: had to take something off. The first guy was naked loses, right,
- 49:07Speaker 1: So it's me and Marie and we're just sitting there
- 49:09Speaker 1: and you had to pick your people. And I was
- 49:10Speaker 1: just like Martin was like, high five, you know whatever,
- 49:12Speaker 1: and I was just I just came out with like
- 49:13Speaker 1: a different enerines like here it is up top, let's
- 49:15Speaker 1: do it like if you were in my right. But
- 49:17Speaker 1: then eventually it started like a crowd formed and we
- 49:20Speaker 1: started going and we were down to like underwear to underwear,
- 49:23Speaker 1: and I said to the show and I was like,
- 49:24Speaker 1: what I said? Oh, I said, I said, we can't
- 49:26Speaker 1: get naked here. He goes, yeah, he does. Don't worry.
- 49:28Speaker 1: I said, we have a permanity. He goes, no, don't don'try.
- 49:32Speaker 1: So they had like a car running on the side.
- 49:33Speaker 1: I was like, Oh, this is really fun that we're
- 49:35Speaker 1: gonna do it this way. So we did it. MR
- 49:37Speaker 1: ends up losing whatever, you know. So I run over
- 49:39Speaker 1: and I just like, pants on whatever. He grabs his
- 49:41Speaker 1: junk and he jumps in the car and leaves and
- 49:42Speaker 1: they're gone, you know. So it was just such a
- 49:44Speaker 1: weird thing. I was like, okay, so I like that.
- 49:46Speaker 1: I like being owning it and doing it, but there's
- 49:48Speaker 1: just sometimes you don't want to do it. We're in
- 49:49Speaker 1: a Mets game and they were just they had no
- 49:52Speaker 1: cind of guard. They had me call them Jeter. I
- 49:54Speaker 1: kept calling them Jeter, and he was throwing the balls
- 49:57Speaker 1: into the crowd to the kids signed yeah, and I
- 50:00Speaker 1: they made me he was in on it, and so
- 50:01Speaker 1: he kept throwing it into me and I had a
- 50:02Speaker 1: fanny pack, and I kept stuffing them in and they're like,
- 50:04Speaker 1: you can buy money Bay, you can buy money Bay,
- 50:06Speaker 1: and dude, everybody the parents are going nuts and it's
- 50:09Speaker 1: one woman. For some reason. I talked to her and
- 50:11Speaker 1: to give me your kid. She was had this two
- 50:13Speaker 1: year old toddler. She was always I want one for
- 50:15Speaker 1: my son so you could grow up. Message. I said, oh,
- 50:16Speaker 1: give we go get a feel. She gives me her
- 50:18Speaker 1: son and I'm holding this guy. Guy was like for
- 50:20Speaker 1: the kid, for the kid, throw me. I give it
- 50:22Speaker 1: back and I put the fanny pack and the ball.
- 50:24Speaker 1: My fanny pack is like you can buy it on eBay.
- 50:26Speaker 1: She lost her ship. She melted down screaming at me
- 50:30Speaker 1: like I was like, yeah, crazy, she lost it. It
- 50:38Speaker 1: was crazy. Yeah. She's like we had a blur and
- 50:40Speaker 1: her kid, but like the whole place stopped, like you
- 50:42Speaker 1: heard her throughout the place and in my ear like
- 50:45Speaker 1: you have the ear piece and you know that right there,
- 50:47Speaker 1: that moment you normally, I say, what are we gonna
- 50:49Speaker 1: do here, fellas? And it's dead quiet. Nobody knows what
- 50:51Speaker 1: to do. So I'm like buy myself. And I'm like, uh, okay,
- 50:54Speaker 1: you can buy it. On eBay. So, yeah, it's crazy.
- 50:59Speaker 1: You see how on Sweat it was a rough one.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Yeah? Is there sit in the Yeah?
- 51:04Speaker 1: I had just sit in the moment.
- 51:05Speaker 6: Is there a prank that you guys had that never
- 51:07Speaker 6: got aired?
- 51:09Speaker 2: No?
- 51:09Speaker 1: I mean for the most part we would know what
- 51:10Speaker 1: would work or whatnot. There was a couple that we
- 51:12Speaker 1: wanted to do that sometimes the network just didn't get.
- 51:14Speaker 1: It became this thing of lore. It was called Bust
- 51:17Speaker 1: to Tampa where we would change a handcuff a guy
- 51:20Speaker 1: at the Grand Central station you know in in uh
- 51:23Speaker 1: the Port Authority in New York to a bus that
- 51:25Speaker 1: was going to Tampa and he had to go to Tampa.
- 51:27Speaker 7: And it was it.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Like and the network was like, okay, what's the punch?
- 51:32Speaker 1: Was like, You're on a bus to Tampa, Tampa, and
- 51:35Speaker 1: like we don't get them, like it's great, Like you
- 51:36Speaker 1: end up the dam Like what happened? You're like, you
- 51:38Speaker 1: can't leave the bus And it just didn't get it.
- 51:40Speaker 1: And it was like it became the thing that every season,
- 51:42Speaker 1: the first punishment in every packet to our executive was
- 51:46Speaker 1: bust to Tampa. You get the guy on the bus
- 51:48Speaker 1: that and then in the pilot packet, like we had
- 51:52Speaker 1: to submit like ideas, and we never pulled it off
- 51:53Speaker 1: because we thought it'd be too mean. We want to
- 51:55Speaker 1: interrupt the wedding and just like realize you were at
- 51:58Speaker 1: the wrong wedding, Apollo, and leave. So the moment you
- 52:01Speaker 1: get ahead, I'm sorry you're not Marie, and then go.
- 52:04Speaker 1: But we didn't want to ruin somebody's day. That's like
- 52:05Speaker 1: such a big moment. It never It felt good on paper,
- 52:08Speaker 1: but it felt wrong. And that turned into Sal becoming
- 52:11Speaker 1: the best man at one and we wrote upon We
- 52:13Speaker 1: wrote him interrupting the speech for the best man speech,
- 52:16Speaker 1: and we wrote the speech for him and he had
- 52:17Speaker 1: no idea what it was and he just thought it,
- 52:19Speaker 1: oh and it was this big Italian running in Jersey.
- 52:21Speaker 1: He got totally like that was rough.
- 52:24Speaker 2: So as you guys are like transitioning into like a pilot.
- 52:28Speaker 2: No one knows who you guys are. You guys are working,
- 52:29Speaker 2: you're selling baby stuff. You had a fireman like everyone's
- 52:32Speaker 2: kind of doing their own thing. How hard did it get?
- 52:34Speaker 2: Once the show really got traction to not be seen
- 52:36Speaker 2: and people be like, aren't you the guy?
- 52:38Speaker 1: Yeah, Well we got lucky because they bought a lot
- 52:39Speaker 1: of episodes before we even aired. Oh yeah, so we did,
- 52:42Speaker 1: like I think we did like sixteen episodes or something
- 52:45Speaker 1: like that before we even hit air. Like they saw
- 52:47Speaker 1: they saw the pilot and then they ordered the first episode.
- 52:51Speaker 1: They ordered that what it was six maybe or something,
- 52:53Speaker 1: and they saw the first episode we submitted and they
- 52:55Speaker 1: said we want more, and they bought it, like the
- 52:57Speaker 1: full season's which was without it airing. Saw that it
- 53:00Speaker 1: was like light in a bottle and really fun. So
- 53:02Speaker 1: we're like, okay, great, so here we go. And then
- 53:04Speaker 1: it was on True TV, you know, which nobody knew. Yeah,
- 53:07Speaker 1: Channel one million, Basic cable. Nobody's singing it, you know.
- 53:09Speaker 1: So we were just like in New York City too,
- 53:11Speaker 1: which was an ally because there's so many people. You know,
- 53:14Speaker 1: if half the city knows you, four million people don't,
- 53:16Speaker 1: just like for somebody doesn't. And then we kind of
- 53:19Speaker 1: are like forgettable looking. We're kind of like normal looking,
- 53:21Speaker 1: kind of ash guys blend, and you were able to
- 53:24Speaker 1: see if somebody knows you were not you know, we
- 53:26Speaker 1: talked to people for ten fifteen minutes before we even started,
- 53:29Speaker 1: just to see if they were the right kind of person.
- 53:31Speaker 1: You get one shot at it. You want to make
- 53:33Speaker 1: sure it's going to be a good person. So we
- 53:34Speaker 1: just sit on a park bench and start bullshitting. See
- 53:36Speaker 1: if they're how interactive they are, See if their eyebrows raise.
- 53:39Speaker 6: You know, were there any moments like as the show's
- 53:42Speaker 6: like growing and taking off, like obviously the four of
- 53:45Speaker 6: you go in on this production element, were there ever
- 53:47Speaker 6: growing pains between you four?
- 53:49Speaker 2: For sure?
- 53:50Speaker 6: Like business wise, is it all starts to creep in.
- 53:52Speaker 1: It takes off like that? Right? We had been working
- 53:53Speaker 1: together for years together, so we had kind of had
- 53:56Speaker 1: a one voice when it came to comedy for the
- 53:58Speaker 1: most part, have outliars and different things. It's you know,
- 54:00Speaker 1: some people are a little bit darker, you know, but
- 54:02Speaker 1: all kind of aline aligned into our brand r you know,
- 54:07Speaker 1: so that wasn't hard. But then when you have the
- 54:09Speaker 1: like specific ones. I remember where we just came up
- 54:12Speaker 1: with this line. We're like, trust me, I'm gonna I
- 54:14Speaker 1: want to do it because it's everybody's show. So like
- 54:16Speaker 1: we would talk everything out, we'd all try to get
- 54:18Speaker 1: it to the right place. But I remember there was
- 54:19Speaker 1: this one punishment where sal has a mind that self
- 54:22Speaker 1: implodes like he's got super Alata nerat neurosis. I was like,
- 54:25Speaker 1: it'd be kind of fun to mess with Sal so
- 54:27Speaker 1: much that he thinks he's getting punished but he's not.
- 54:29Speaker 1: But he is, but he's not, but he is. And
- 54:30Speaker 1: I said, and he will have a mental breakdown on camera,
- 54:33Speaker 1: will be so fun to watch. And I pitched it
- 54:35Speaker 1: and everybody's like, no, I don't know if it's gonna
- 54:37Speaker 1: work whatever, blah blah blah. We got to the network,
- 54:38Speaker 1: I don't know. And then I was talking with Q
- 54:40Speaker 1: and we're going back and forth, and I just said
- 54:42Speaker 1: to my said Q, I'm gonna do it. It's gonna work,
- 54:44Speaker 1: trust me. He goes fine, and that was it, and
- 54:46Speaker 1: that became the line like I'm gonna do it. It's
- 54:48Speaker 1: gonna work, trust me. Like that was it because he's
- 54:50Speaker 1: the three other funniest guys, you know, like, of course
- 54:52Speaker 1: we're gonna give it a shot. And it's also everybody's show,
- 54:54Speaker 1: so who are you to say no?
- 54:55Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 54:56Speaker 1: So then we just started doing that, and then I
- 54:58Speaker 1: remember the moment of that punishment in where Sal's mind
- 55:01Speaker 1: started going crazy and you saw it, and Q stopped
- 55:04Speaker 1: and he just turned to me and gave me a
- 55:06Speaker 1: hug and said, you're a genius this day.
- 55:08Speaker 2: That's gonna be the best thing.
- 55:10Speaker 1: That was one of my favorite punishments ever because it's
- 55:12Speaker 1: so personal too, like that's the one like that one
- 55:14Speaker 1: who worked with any other friend, Like you do things
- 55:16Speaker 1: just for Q that you know are gonna be Q
- 55:18Speaker 1: was gonna crush. Yeah, And when you're in it too,
- 55:21Speaker 1: you're like, oh man, this is so bad, but I'm
- 55:22Speaker 1: so proud of them.
- 55:25Speaker 2: Wonder up this episode to bring you mountain? Do you
- 55:30Speaker 2: know we all need to get more of off of
- 55:31Speaker 2: our ass. With bold new flavors and refreshing citrus kick,
- 55:35Speaker 2: mountain dew will get you off your ass and have
- 55:37Speaker 2: you feeling like you're on an actual mountain. A couple
- 55:40Speaker 2: of weeks ago. Last month, actually, Will Compton tried the
- 55:43Speaker 2: ball Hop Blast for the first time. How did you feel?
- 55:45Speaker 6: I felt amazing because I remember pulling Taylor to the
- 55:47Speaker 6: side like, Hey, I'm gonna tell you a really big secret.
- 55:49Speaker 2: No I didn't. You didn't say it like that. I
- 55:51Speaker 2: think I thought, no, no, no, I've never I've never tried
- 55:53Speaker 2: Baha blasts before.
- 55:55Speaker 6: But the way I was going into it, I was like, man,
- 55:57Speaker 6: I'm really gonna sound stupid knowing I've never tried Baja
- 55:59Speaker 6: blast because how everybody talks about it.
- 56:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but you loved it? I did, No, I loved
- 56:03Speaker 2: it absolutely. Let's see a mountain where the weather is
- 56:07Speaker 2: always perfect and your friends are ready to hang a
- 56:10Speaker 2: day and a day of epic proportions. Awaits dude, think
- 56:14Speaker 2: about this. It's officially Spootober. You've knocked out all of
- 56:18Speaker 2: your things you have to do for Spooktober. How do
- 56:20Speaker 2: you celebrate baja blasts? Code red mountain dew and for
- 56:23Speaker 2: Will Compton, the diet mountain dew. Those are the things
- 56:27Speaker 2: that keep us moving forward day in and day out.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Caffeine free mountain dew. The mountain is calling. You should answer,
- 56:33Speaker 2: Grab your friends, grab an ice cold mountain dew wherever
- 56:36Speaker 2: refreshing beverages are sold, and say it together. Boys do
- 56:41Speaker 2: the de nice was so like obviously you watch things
- 56:45Speaker 2: like Jackass and like bamb mar Jay are growing up
- 56:48Speaker 2: and you can kind of realize, Okay, Steve bo is
- 56:49Speaker 2: always gonna be the guy that pukes. BAM's afraid of snakes.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Like you kind of figure out everybody's like quirks and personalities. Yeah,
- 56:55Speaker 2: what can you give me the three other guys? Like, oh,
- 56:57Speaker 2: I can get them with this, this and this, like
- 56:58Speaker 2: these are the things.
- 56:59Speaker 1: All all evolved because the more you do with the
- 57:02Speaker 1: thicker skin, you get right with anything, you know. But
- 57:04Speaker 1: in the beginning, it was very like, you know, Murder
- 57:07Speaker 1: was like a little bit of a schemer. He always
- 57:08Speaker 1: try to find work at angle and it normally failed,
- 57:10Speaker 1: which was fun to watch. Q was just very guy,
- 57:14Speaker 1: a guy's guy, you know, So he would get away
- 57:16Speaker 1: with a lot of like just being like very like
- 57:19Speaker 1: came across very blue collari Oh, like he came across
- 57:22Speaker 1: like very friendly as a friend, like quickly easily. Like
- 57:25Speaker 1: it's like, oh I get this kind of guy. You know.
- 57:27Speaker 1: You kind of remind you like of a neighbor, you know.
- 57:29Speaker 1: So we would go into that. Sally just had so
- 57:31Speaker 1: many things wrong with him, like he was afraid of
- 57:33Speaker 1: stuff and like he's afraid of cats. So we just
- 57:35Speaker 1: used that so much and but like he was trauma thing. Yeah,
- 57:42Speaker 1: and it was just so stupid. The ideas we came
- 57:44Speaker 1: up with that was so easy and dumb. Like we
- 57:46Speaker 1: had this big we rented this thing Benjamin Cat, and
- 57:48Speaker 1: we rented a we rented a cat suit and we
- 57:51Speaker 1: would make it pop up and chase him and he
- 57:53Speaker 1: knew it was a person, but he would be like
- 57:55Speaker 1: he play it up, like we get away from it,
- 57:58Speaker 1: and it would just be fun to annoy him, you know,
- 58:00Speaker 1: stuff like that. And then for me, it was more
- 58:01Speaker 1: just like they just wanted to see me just cause
- 58:05Speaker 1: a havoc. Like it was just like put him in
- 58:07Speaker 1: a place where he's gonna just make it awkward for
- 58:09Speaker 1: everybody and just come out clean. Like so the bigger
- 58:12Speaker 1: the scene that was always like my kind of thing.
- 58:14Speaker 1: It was like, if we got to make a scene,
- 58:15Speaker 1: it's gatto, you know.
- 58:16Speaker 2: You know, So have you always been a guy that's
- 58:18Speaker 2: like completely comfortable with being in the uncomfortable?
- 58:21Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 58:22Speaker 2: Always?
- 58:22Speaker 1: No, No, Well it happened. I remember a moment like
- 58:24Speaker 1: I was I have an older sister. I have two
- 58:25Speaker 1: older sisters, but I had one I didn't get along with.
- 58:27Speaker 1: And it was we were at Bella Vita, which is
- 58:29Speaker 1: this big Italian restaurant in Staten Island for Easter Sunday,
- 58:33Speaker 1: packed with all these Italians. My parents were smokers at
- 58:35Speaker 1: the time, and this is when you could smoke in restaurants,
- 58:37Speaker 1: but they had the room that you had to go
- 58:39Speaker 1: in by itself with the door shut. I have to
- 58:40Speaker 1: go to the bathroom. Me and my sister go through
- 58:42Speaker 1: this pack place. I don't see the step and I
- 58:43Speaker 1: fall hit hard. One of those at the place goes ooh,
- 58:46Speaker 1: and my sister's like laughing, going ah, and the whole place.
- 58:49Speaker 1: And then I popped up and went ta da and
- 58:51Speaker 1: everybody started laughing and clapping, and I was like flipped
- 58:53Speaker 1: off my sister and I was like, all right, this
- 58:55Speaker 1: is cool. I had to be embarrassed, and that was
- 58:57Speaker 1: like definitely a defining thing at like eleven twelve years older,
- 59:00Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, maybe I'm overthinking this thing. And
- 59:03Speaker 1: then I just started being more comfortable with not being
- 59:05Speaker 1: caring what people think. Not in a way where like
- 59:07Speaker 1: I don't care what you think, but more like people
- 59:09Speaker 1: are gonna think what they think, right, it doesn't matter,
- 59:11Speaker 1: you know, not the defensive type. Some people have a
- 59:13Speaker 1: defensive side of that. I don't care what you think.
- 59:15Speaker 1: It could be interesting.
- 59:16Speaker 2: People just want to be cool.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like I don't care what people think,
- 59:18Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, it's it's it's not necessarily the right
- 59:20Speaker 1: way to live, you know, but if you are comfortable
- 59:22Speaker 1: and be like this is me and I just did it,
- 59:24Speaker 1: Like I was always comfortable with my weird body, Like
- 59:26Speaker 1: I've always very, very comfortable on the dance floor when
- 59:29Speaker 1: I shouldn't be. I didn't mind being a spectacle. I
- 59:32Speaker 1: was an icebreaker all the time when I was out
- 59:34Speaker 1: with my boys, Like there's a you know, a group
- 59:36Speaker 1: of girls, you know, just send me in. It didn't matter.
- 59:39Speaker 1: All my friends were really good looking too, so it
- 59:40Speaker 1: was really funny. Was always like the funny, okay looking guy,
- 59:43Speaker 1: like like, oh look at this guy. I got supermodel
- 59:45Speaker 1: friends over the like it was so fun. So I
- 59:47Speaker 1: was just that kind of person and then it just
- 59:49Speaker 1: became my personality.
- 59:50Speaker 6: Yeah, what do you miss most about the impractical Jokers?
- 59:54Speaker 6: Isn't well, because you guys are all still good friends.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Yeah, working with friends, I was just with cute And
- 59:58Speaker 1: in Vegas we had to we went to the Imagine
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Dragon's Gala and we were We actually ended up ended
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: up having to host it because one of the hosts
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: plane couldn't get out of La So ten minutes for
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: it starts, they're like, hey, could you guys host? This
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: was like a two thousand person Gala at the Wind, Like,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: could you guys host this with Joel mchaleba Like yeah, sure,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: So me and Q got up there and messed around.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: It was really fun. But those kind of things are
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: great when you're boys with you. Like, I wasn't scared
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: of that at all. We have Q, you know, just
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: get it up there and do it. But the script
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: was already written for her, so we were like trying
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: to like make a bit out of it. It was
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: really interesting. But yeah, I just you know, we're we're
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: still best friends. We were friends before it friends after
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: we're just not friends from work anymore. That's the biggest
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: thing you mess working with you.
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: Yeah, how hard was that approaching that conversation to like, hey,
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: this could be the end or the breakup or yeah.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I mean in the final chapter, it's what you imagine.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hard.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: It's hard, but it was open arms kind of thing.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: You know. We're all boys, so it's like this is
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: this is what it is for each other. So yeah,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: we'll get we'll get through it and you know, continue
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: to support each other. You know, they have when we
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: do when they do their shows. I go out when
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I have my show sometimes they come out, you know,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: when they have their solo shows. I go to sal show,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I go to merg show, pop on stage, say hi,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: we're in the same town. You know. The hardest part
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: is like appointment friendship now right, like I never had
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: to experience that. You saw your friend. We see each
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: other forever every day. So now it's like we gotta
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: try to make time to see each other, go to
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: each other in go to dinner like that, especially when kids. Yes,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I got my two kids, which is a big part
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: of it, you know, and now that takes a major
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: focus of my life. That's part of the reason, you know.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: So it's like I got this family dynamic I'm dealing with.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: So do you have a You got two girls, a
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: boy and a girl. Girl and girl perfect year old girl.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Perfect.
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: We've got some We do have some merch for you,
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: some girl, dad merch.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Oh oh nice, that's sick. I love that. Thank you.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: So we got you hooked up.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: That's awesome. This is your merch.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: Yeah, this is our merch.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Smart dad.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Girls, you're just dad. Yeah, I'm just okay. We girls.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: I have a I have one girl, another girl on
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: the way. Oh, so you gotta give the us appoint
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: don't know how to have a had We had Randall
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Cobbin here he's like to the left, to the right
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: in the middle ribs, and I'm thinking to myself, I
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: don't think I have that kind of talent, Like you're
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: talking about six different pumps. I don't have that in me.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: It's tough, though, man. Yeah, it's I want a boy
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: so bad. Yeah, I want one so bad, but I
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: don't think I'm ever gonna get it.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: Yeah, I have girls going for a third and risking
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: that it's a girl, and then you're just surrounded by
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: four women.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I was that my uh my, I have two older
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: sisters and they didn't find out really yeah, and then
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: my he didn't know till the doctor was his his.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: They became friends. He delivered all the children. They were
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: you know, it's statnayn growing up everyone knew each other.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: So he, uh he helped me. The story goes, he
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: held me to the back and you know, my dad
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: was standing by my mom's head and he just went, ah,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: there they are the family jewels.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: And he turned me around like I'm sure he lost
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: his mind. He was so fun.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: He snuck into their delivery room in scrubs because they
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: were like it was a situation where they didn't want
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: anybody in there. And he was like, oh, it's my wife,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: and they're like, oh, you know, well, don't worry. You
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: could and he just put scrubs on and he came
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: in and my mom was like, is this a doctor,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: goes sh it's me.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: It's me. Did you get your your humor from your father?
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: And I'm the perfect mix of all them. My dad
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: was an assassin. He would say something just loud enough
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: that you could hear it, and when everybody was when
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: you were laughing, and everybody's like, what are you laughing at,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: He's like, I don't know, Like he was like one
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: of those guys. Yeah, my favorite sorry about my dad
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: doing that. He was in it was in Atlantic City
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: back in the day, and he's with these two gangster
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: types playing craps and he's on one side of the
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: table and there's this woman on the other side and
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: she's rolling and the two gangs of guys are smoking
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: cigars and she's having a good roll and the guy's like,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: come on, come on, you broad, let's do it, you know,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: come on you ugly, you know, and they're making like
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: fun or whatever, and she rolls whatever, and you know,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: my father just stops and he says to them, he goes, guys,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: could you stop talking about my wife like that? No shit?
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: And they mount jaws open and he hysterically, I'm just knna,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: come on, lady, let's do it. And he just hung
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: out with these two half a gangsters all night because
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: he just made them, which is good. And my mother
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: was like the complete opposite center attention lit up the room,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: which it came in, batshit crazy, and uh, that's me too.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: So I'm the mix. I think of all the absolutely
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: five foot nothing spark of life she was. She was great, man.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that fires me up.
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: When you no, I was going to pivot to his YouTube.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I Love how Last because I was about to pivot.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I was done with that ship. Yeah, checking the boxes,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Yeah right, all right.
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: I was going to pivot to his a new special
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: on YouTube, Messing with People People. Yeah, can you give
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: us some background on that?
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Yeah? So I, uh, when I started my tour, Joe
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Gatto's Night of Comedy, you know, I did it for
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: two and a half years. You know how it is
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: when you work on something so hard you don't want
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: just to go away. So you know, I was like
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: proud of it, and I was like, I want to
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: put it out here for the people. So I filmeddn't
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: put it on YouTube, and uh we did what eight
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: hundred pound goerrella. Those guys are great and it was
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: fun because in that like I get to talk a
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: lot about me more so like fans. When you're on stage,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: you get to share the spotlight, you talk about twenty
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: five minut it's just yours. But then it's just like
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: when you could really dive in about you, about everything
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: about Like I realized how messing with people is in
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: my core and I just tell I'm a storyteller. So
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: I just told all these stories and link them together.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: And then how my kids now are? You know, I
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: realize that with my kids, I'm a role model, which
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: could be dangerous. I talk about my mom and stuff,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: and you know, it's fun. It's just like it's a nice,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: a nice way to weave together a little bit more
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: of me. And now my new tour is more of
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: like the personal side, Yeah, more personal of it. And
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: then let's get into a tour. I start like you
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: do a lot of reflection, right, so when I separated
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: from my wife. It was the first time I've lived alone.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: I was an apartment by myself, forty seven years old,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: first time ever living alone. I always live with roommates,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: my parents, her or whatever, you know. And then you
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: like sit there and you're like, wow, you really start
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: like reflecting a lot, you know, Yeah, and you're just
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: sitting there and you're thinking about it. And I always
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: think about how do people become the people they are?
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: And the only journey you know is yourself, you know,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: like you've been there for every minute of you Right,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: So then I just started, like the new hour I'm doing,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: let's get into it. I really break down how do
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I how did I become this loud, boisterous, crazy dude
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: when I was When I was a kid, I was
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: such a geeky, nerdy, math loving, you know, making tests
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: for my father when it came home from work, kid,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: you know. So it's really just a weird way to
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: get through it all. So that's what my New Hours about.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: And it's a deeper dive and it's it's it's really
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: fun to reflect on that stuff.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: It all started with falling on a step at an
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Italian man That story into the APT I really thought
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: it's gotta.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Be you know, Yeah, it's not. That's that's a part
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: of the shame gene stuff that goes, you know. But
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: I talk about, you know, being a geek. I was
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: like a real og back in the day, original geek.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: I was like super nerd. I like loved fantasy stories.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I used to creative write. I watched the movie Willow.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys know the movie Willow.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: I saw the movie Willow back in the day. It
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: was like a Lord of the Rings light before they
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: had like special effects, like all puppets and stuff. Voukilmer
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: was in it, and it was like a thing that
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: just like sparked all this weird creativity in me, and
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: I started writing short stories reading them. I did magic.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: It's like my parents and stuff. It was really weird.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: You still do a little bit of magic.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: I got good tricks. Yeah, I got a good card
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: trick that that's easy for everybody to learn.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: And we got to get a card trick. We gotta
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: get car I love.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Yeah, magic's fun.
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: We had doctor O's on the bush really and it
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: was he's.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Not a doctor, he doesn't have yeah, yeah, doctor.
- 1:07:11Speaker 12: And then and then.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: I thought he meant, oh, yeah, you put a doctor on.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I thought he got a pH d.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, we had to clear that up for no
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: problem I had.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Uh, I was I found myself at a dinner with
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: David Blaine.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: How was that dude?
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: A dude? It was so funny because there's also a
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: moment where we're all just chilling. It was at a
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: it was at somebody's house that we're all mutual friends with.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I had never met. David had his daughter with him,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: and he just nonchalantly takes a deck of cards out
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: of his inside pocket, like you just we're all literally
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: just talking about something else, like we're doing like a
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: movie or so, and then he's like clinkling, and the
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: whole place just stops and he just starts going whatever.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: And I had never met him, and I'm just sitting
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: across from him, and he starts talking. He's like, Okay,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: could you sign this card? Whatever? And he and he
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: puts it in back in the deck and he starts
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: talking about it because you remember what the card was.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, you know, he's seven of hearts.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: He's like okay, and then he opens the deck. He's like, oh,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: it's not here. He goes, where the where could it be?
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know. He goes, I noticed you
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: have a nice watch, and I said, yeah, could you
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: turn your wrist over? And I turned it over and
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: it was folded inside the wrist of my watch.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: Like how the fun does he do that?
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: He never touched me, never, never even looked at me.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: I was across the table from I said, going, I said,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: get out. I said get out, I get away from me.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that's it.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: And it was so crazy. He was so but it
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: was so funny because when he was talking regular and
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: you were talking out with him, like with him, he
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: was like he was like, it's like, hey man, so
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: good and he was like think of a number, Like
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: he just got in the zone. It was there was a.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: Like in a kitchen.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: It was it was it was Harrison Ford Harrison. He
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: kicks him of his kitchen.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and he like cuts open in his range.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: That's like, how does that?
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: He's got to have people go and play somewhere.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: He was by himself, was him and his door, unless
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: he's got his daughter work in the angle almost like
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: in the you know, the in the markets, they had
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: like the monkey that steals.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: The dude, he's gotta be Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Specially he's a hell of a showman.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Man. It's incredible, and the hit that tone too. I'm
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: seriously like, hey guy, hey, good to meet you.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Taking out the Cards, which is the most.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Wild movie you could do at a party ever, unless
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: you're David Blaine.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I know, was the mental Yeah, and then it just
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: invests it. If he missed it, it'd be like, dude,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: we just had a nice meal.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: You save it.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Everything up, dude.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: He did something to us. It was doing birthdays and
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: different things throughout the calculators with a calculator, and then
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: we pulled out one hundred dollars bill.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: And it was a serial number.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Yeah. First he did cards and then he did the
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: serial number of that and it was like pull a
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: random dollar bill out. It was crazy, sane man, insane.
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: Brought one of our guys from the other side over
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: and then guests basically said his his pin code for
- 1:09:35Speaker 6: his ATM card.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Oh, now make some that's a nice side hustle.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: The magic thing is so funny. Yeah, this is him
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: just absolutely blowing our minds.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: You got to wear a suit when you do that.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: When you're business right, always.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Got to always do that.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Your big suit guy.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: I throw on a suit every now and again. I
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: clean up nice.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Us, I worked at Nordstroms, so I was in the
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: men's retail, so I know I'm a little bit of
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: a fashionista. Thank you for asking. I appreciate it.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: I just wanted to get to know you as much. Man.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: That was the next bullet point. It was like, so
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: you got me to shoot that shoot is great? There
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: that's they had to actually put pants on me because
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: I I did the shoot without pants. Oh yea yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: because I was like, you know what, because we were
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: That was one of our first photo shoots ever, and
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: the guys were so nervous and we had never done
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: anything like this. It was a full thing, and we
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: walked down every I felt there was so nervous. I
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: just came out the dressing room without pants and they
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: were like and everybody started laving. We had a good time,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: and then they were like, could you go, uh, could
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: you go put pants on? For one? I was like sure,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: And that's the picture they used me with pants on.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: But yeah, that's one of my favorite jackets. If you
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: scroll the left there that was at the movie premiere.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: The golden jacket over there that I got on the
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: other ye see it right there, that gold jacket. That's fantastic.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Look at that.
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: That's got to be expensive.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Nor Strum, No, you know what I bought that Like
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: that was like a like a thrift store. I got
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: it like I'm a deep discount shopper. I love a
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: Nordstrom rack. I don't really hit the nord Strum. Yea,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I go to the rack. I love it a deal.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Racks got the best, the best elections you can if
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: you can sift through the bullshit.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: You have to get through the bs. Yeah, sometimes it's
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: just not worth it. But when you find a diamond
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: in the rough, Oh that jacket, it doesn't fit me anymore.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I was at my fighting weight back then.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: It seems like you simmed up little bit.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: I did a little bit. I'm a I teeter totter. Yeah,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I was my fattest. I was it I think twenty five.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: And that was like season three when we just switched
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: the high definition cameras, and I was.
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: Like, you.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Switch it up, because if you see, it's the first
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: couple of seasons. We don't give a ship what we
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: look like we're wearing like what we rolled out of
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: bed in and then it's like, oh, this is where
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: people see us. Okay, we got to start doing something.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: I started doing a little bit because I heard when
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: we were getting ready for this episode the I.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Am really chubby.
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: See that?
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Look at that?
- 1:11:31Speaker 7: What did you google?
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: And bring up us side by side of him fat
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Joe and.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Joe before and half.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Look at that face. I look like job of the hut.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I look like my neck is made a plate. That's
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: all I got all day, all night sometime.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: That's all you can see. It's mesmerizing.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: It takes you away, like tell everybody, I'm the hottest
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: from here.
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: Upleater up the spooky episode because it's time to turn
- 1:11:53Speaker 6: up your tailgate with a little bit of Can. Social
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: Tonics can spike Selzer's with weeds so you can enjoy
- 1:11:59Speaker 6: social uplifting buzz and still can feel next can steal

- 1:12:09Speaker 6: life hacks. Each can is blended with only five simple ingredients,
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: all natural ingredients, alcohol free, and comes in three award
- 1:12:17Speaker 6: winning flavors, and they're microdosed so you can get a
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: tiny bit high to watch the Big Game or that
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: spooky movie and always be in control. Head to drinkcan
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: dot com and use code bus thirty for a generous
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: and spooky thirty percent off your order of Can and
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: a free Spooky Roady six pack sampler.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: Back to the Fright. What was Yeah? Because I saw
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: I heard about you had a situation with Nira Circus.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: We had like almost cardiac arrest.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Yeah did, Yeah, almost died on television. They had to
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: wheel me out at the end like weekends at burning
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: to say goabye, like I was underneath getting oxygen. So
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Nitro Circus date we did. They wanted to do a
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: live thing at one hundredth episode. It's live TV. It's
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: a one hundredth episode. So we're gonna do this obstacle
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: course and make you guys do all these stupid stunts. Okay,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: let's do it fun.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: We saw it. I'm so curious, like how you earn.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: Don't know why we did. It's so off brand. It's
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: not our thing. We're not physical. I dressed up by
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: catin Captain Fat Belly. I was like, let's make it.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Let's make it a thing. So I go out and
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: the first time I go, they make it to uh.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: We get to the bike course, the mini bike thing
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: like when they were training us, cub broke a rib,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: like he got rolled over. Really yeah, they rolled a
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: thing rolled over on them.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: Those guys are just psychos.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Yeah they're not. It's like it's so so weird. But
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: they got this partnership with them.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: So we do it.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: We start and the thing, the mini bike doesn't start
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: and the clock's ticking. It's live TV and they're like, go,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: go go, and I'm like it's on. So I try
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: to push. It's too heavy. I'm like f it, I'll
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: just run. So I run the mini bike course and
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: I'm in no sort of shape to run. It's like uphill,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: this divots and then I just so I basically end
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: up running this whole course. And the last thing of it,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: which is so fun, is we we had three doors
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: that you had to jump through with our faces on them.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Two of them are locked one is it right? So
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I decided to run and jump. See they're behind us there,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: and I would yell and jump and I would jump
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: and I would go hi oh and hit the doorn't
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: slide down. I did it on purpose, and I was like, oh,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: that'd be funny. And I was like all right, and
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: I was like the second one, I was like all right,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: and I'm like stumbling out the steps and I get
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: out of half a Highoh, I'm like heyo. I hit
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: the door and when I hit the floor, I like
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: kind of blacked out for a minute. And I was
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: like I either could get up and have a heart
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: attack on live television or I could just lay here.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: So I just call time out and they go to commercial.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: And when they try to get me to my feet,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: I can't stand and I'm like, oh, it's like something
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: really wrong here. And I just was like heaving, like right,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: So they pulled me in underneath the bleachers. They had
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: like a med station, and they pulled me in and
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: I go underneath and they hooked me up the oxygen
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: and they give me an ivy to fill me up
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: with some fluids. I'm like singing stars. They like give
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: the whole thing there, and now everybody else is going.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: So everybody else is going. It's the end of the episode,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: and the producers coming They're like, hey, could you you
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: gotta you know, come out, and everybody's got to see you. Okay,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: and I'm like I'm not okay. So they like wheel
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: me out of the last shot. They like it's like
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: weekend at Birdies. I'm like, eh, like Joe's okay, I'm
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: like yeah, And then they put me in the ambulance
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: and I went to the hospital for check.
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: It was so so bizarre.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: So ended up being like the medical reasoning.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: It was just like fat, yeahha should not be trying
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: to run a quarter mile at top speed and the
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: captain fat belly spandex.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: I'm sure it was. Yeah, it was.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Was going, but I was just not in you know,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: any shape. It was actually you know, it was built
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: for like people who were in shape, but I had
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: a hard time because you're supposed to be on a bike.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: I was supposed to run that much, I wrote ran
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: a lot.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: So is it the last time you dealt with n circus?
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Ever?
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: Yeah? Ever?
- 1:15:31Speaker 6: Ever?
- 1:15:31Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: It was good though, because like we did it, and
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: as you get more into it, more established, it could
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: be like, no, that's not right. So the next time
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: it was time for like they wanted to do something else,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: we were just like no, no, thank you, we do.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: But there was also so much turnover at the network.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: I think we had in my tenure. I think there
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: was five different presidents of the network, so everybody just
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: came in. It was just like, leave jokers alone. It's
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: doing its things. So it was kind of just like
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: a wild West situation, which was fun.
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: That's got to be a great feeling. How familiar are
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: you with Nitro, Circus and Travis great guys.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: We hung out for a weekend at their ranch to
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: train towards how to use all the stuff, which was fun. Uh,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: super down to earth guys, really cool. I had a
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: great experience with them.
- 1:16:11Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Uh, they do what they do very well, and it
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: wasn't for us exactly.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: One of the Taylor's icons. Yeah, I'm obsessed good on it.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: But there was a if you can pull us up showman.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: But there's like a an X ray of Travis Pashana's
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: entire body and it's like the most destroyed thing you've
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: ever seen in life. He said, like twenty seven surgeries,
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: multiple knee replacement. Yeah, yeah, oh yeah.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: He was telling to some horror stories and stuff. But
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I was like, and I asked him. I remember we
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: were talking. Q was obsessed with him. When Q got hurt,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: like we ended up just hanging out and talking to him,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: and he was like why did you do Uh? He's like,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: why do you why do you do it? And he
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: just said it's because what I do. I was like,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: that's such a badass answer. What I just used to?
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: So that white shoulder up there all the little.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Way off, Yeah, hips don't lie look at that. It's crazy. Yeah,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: could you Matt oh Man, he's gonna that.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: You know what though, like did you imagine such a
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: dense and.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: And like this is the worst pain in the.
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: Camp barstool shattered my toe on the first base bag
- 1:17:14Speaker 6: playing softball, playing and it was purple black like it was.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: In the NFL. And he got hurt playing softball and
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: it was brutal.
- 1:17:21Speaker 7: I know, I know, I know.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: I still finished though.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: There you go. Who's needs to those.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: Probably Travis's is that Travis? He had he had one
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: man there was so they had like Nina Circus one, two,
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: and three that came out when I was in middle school,
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: and there's one of Travis hitting this step up which
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: is like you go off a ramp, but you land
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: higher then you you took off and he like just
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: endos his bike.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Which is the front wheel coming up and you just
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: familiar with.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Yeah, he just like like scorpions himself and I think
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: that's when he broke his steamer. It was like the
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: most insane and he just the guys just fucking doing
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: but the.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Nerve to do that right, just they have like toddler,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: you know that, like they don't know, zero.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: Fear, just kind of lean over and I wonder if
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: I fell.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: I'm with my family where my daughter were in Turks
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: and Keicos on vacation and my daughter goes dad watches.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: They had like a pool, like a little rock.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Pool was good.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: She climbed up on a rock and did her front
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: flip into the pool. I was like, oh my god,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I said to my I said, that's so cool. I
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: was like, you knew she knew idea that she goes
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: no and I was like, well, we're bad parents, and
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: she was like it's fun. I was like, all right,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: do it again, just not doing flips off the rock
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: and I'm like, it's crazy, like no fear to do it.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: It's so fun. I know.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: I wish we all kind of had that still, because
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: being a kid and not being afraid of things is
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: the best.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: That's it. They made me break tables with my body,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: which was a fun one. Whenever gets to use my
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: body as a comedic weapon. It was always fun. So
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: they did this one where I was the manager and
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: they planted ten breakaway tables in this restaurant and I
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: had to find them. So I had to just jump
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: on these tables and see they so.
- 1:18:47Speaker 7: Some of you.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: Just l entrees.
- 1:18:52Speaker 7: So it was so weird.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: So the last one they put up, they put.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: Dropped.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I dropped an elbow off.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: I mean, this is happening.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: And I was like, this is that's what and I yelled,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: this is happening. I tapped my elbow and I came
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: off the top and they had missed. I overshot and
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: I missed the bag underneath. So they had like put
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: like a little bit of an airbag to soften the fall.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: But I overshot it and I hit hard like that
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: one didn't break. So this guy's just trying to eat
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: his antipasta. It was really fun, man. Yeah, so that
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: we did stuff like that, but that was on brand
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: for us, you know, that was stuff. So we we
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: kind of we figured it out, which is cool.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: Now, if you asked one of the other three guys
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: to do a print like that. Would they feel comfortable
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: doing that?
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Yeah? I think so, but they would know they would
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: say that's better for you. Like, you know, we we'd
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: be in the room everything, we would just start talking
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: like what what can you do? And if it made
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: us laugh and you can envision somebody doing it, you
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: know whose it was, you know. But half half the
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: time it was like, oh, it'd be funny if Gatto
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: was a genie. We just used them like a wrecking
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: ball and it was like, yeah, we just painted purple
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: and just bounce and it was just like it was
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: one of the funnies thing they ever did, you know,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: But like there was. Some of them was so simple
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: and it took a little selling. But I remember vividly
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: we were just sitting there and we're talking about punishments
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: because you know, we write them up. You know you're
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: gonna get punshed across the board. You start thinking about
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: it and eventually when time comes, you probably forgot that
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: you were gonna do it. And we're just sitting there
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: and I go, what if I was a massage chair?
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: And we all just started laughing and they go, what
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: is it? I'm like, and I was like and then
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: and then he was like, yeah, like you're the chair.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, I'm the chair. People send it and
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: got a massage them and we hysterical laugh and then
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: we write it up and we sent them the network.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: It says massage punishment. Joe's a massage chair, and the
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: network calls into like what is it? And it's like
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Joe's massage chair and they stop laughing. They go, yeah,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: but what is it? He goes, now that's it. They're laughing.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: So they made the massage chair and I sat in
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: a massage chair and when people sat down, my arms
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: could come out of it and I would just start
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: massaging people and start making the massage chair noises. So
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I'm just going, we're upping these people. It was so
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: stupid and so fun. But then to get me, they
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: flew in Byumba, the sumo wrestler at the end, and
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: he comes and he jumps on the chair on me,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: and it was, oh my god, it was the worst,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: but it was It was really fun. But you know
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: those are for me, or yeah, there's Biomba doing it.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: He just came in and I was like, get off
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: of me, by and I started shaking him and he's wigland.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: It's really fun.
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: But you know, you know what, you know what you
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: could do well, you know when you're a comedian, because
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: it's a comedy show too, right, you want the right
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: guy doing the right thing, like you know what sal
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: Or right, So you try to put them in their
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: best life.
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: So you guys would know what the punishments were before
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: you went through it.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Some of them for the most part, no, but some
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: of them, if we thought about them, we would just
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: like if we came up with them, be funny. We
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: wouldn't let them know when it was happening, gotch so
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: it'd be like, it's your punishment, but you don't know
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: what it is. You never knew what it was what
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: you were walking into, and then when it happened, it
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: was like here you go.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: Because there's one going viral right now with faking his
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: death for sell punishment. Obviously he didn't know about that
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: one going on. Have you seen the clip?
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Uh yeah, pull up, yeah, pull up, just let's falls
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: off the car falls off the car with the stuntman replacement,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: and Sell looks like he's about to puke. Well yeah,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: I mean he thinks his friend died.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: So I mean that one's not your cup of tea.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Yeah, the fifth Yeah, I mean this is a little
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: mental trauma.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: For a guy like damn our boy really just yeah
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: yeah be gone.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's uh. You know that looks like me
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: at the Nutral Circus.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: Seems like the most squeamish of the group. Yeah.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: No, I mean he puts it on too. You know,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: he's pretty good, but he definitely has the most visceral reactions.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Like you see him reacting. You literally, it's one of
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: those guys you could see his skin and crawl.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you know.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: And one of my favors is like Q was definitely
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: afraid of spiders. So we were like, you know, we
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: have to put a tarantel on you, buddy, and he's like, no,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: you can't, you can't. And then eventually he was like
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: eventually he was like, you know, he's like all right,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: maybe all right, maybe, but he's like, but he's got
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: I got to be able to pull it. If I can't.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: I was like fine, So we forget about it for
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: a season and then we do this trantal punishment where
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: we bring him in and we put a transfer on him.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: So he gets through it. He was super It was
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: like it felt bad in the moment, but he was
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: getting through it. And we gave him like a safety
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: word if he said pumper nickel will be safety word,
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: and we pull it. So he says pumpernicle, like we're
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: just kidding, there's no word, but we could tell we
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: got then off camera we would like all right, off camera,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: like you're good, you good, you got He's like, I'm good,
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: I'm good, I'm almost done. I'm almost done. And then
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: when he said he was done, we pull it right, so,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: but we don't show that, you know, So then we
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: do the same exact punishment reenacted. We do kittens with
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: sal and he reacted worse, thank you, like he was screaming.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: And then we did this.
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: We were going to bring in, you know, a big
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: cat and put it in there with him, and it
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: was so docile it wasn't even scary. It wasn't even
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: scary at Salas, not just because it's sal you know,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: but you could literally see his skin crawl as much
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: as cute. Yeah, you know, it's just it's crazy.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: Could you being afraid of kittens?
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: Kittens?
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: Yeah, And that is the most wild probably the softest
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: thing to be afraid.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: Sure, yeah, yeah, maybe balloons, but there's Pennywise. Yeah, think
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: about loves horror. Man, my daughter would love this place.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: By the way, Yeah, my daughter loves horror. She's in
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: she's in the second grade. She goes to school as
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: penny Wise. That's what you wanted to be second grade?
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Second sounds like, my kids are so awesome.
- 1:23:43Speaker 6: You guys got to embrace Spootober. It's officially started.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Well, I mean, is it spectacular? Like what's Spooktober? Is
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: it like you're a thing?
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: I'm so glad you Yes, yes, it is, okay, great
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: Spooktober is so it's it's obviously the start of Halloween, right,
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: October one is Halloween, and now October becomes Spooketober. So
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: is what you call it. It's not only the fall,
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: it is like the kickstart of all of the holiday season. Sure,
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: so you know for the next three months, dude, you're
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: eating candy, you're gorging yourself on Thanksgiving, and you're enjoying
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: Santa Claus coming down your chimney. Sure or whatever holiday
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: you happen to believe it. But it all happens in
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: the same time. So to embrace these thirty one days
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: of fright is like the most important thing you can
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: possibly do because it just it fires you up, especially
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: when you're a dad. You gotta like dive into it.
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: There's rules too, like you gotta you gotta watch. You
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: gotta watch something festive every day once a week, whether
- 1:24:30Speaker 6: it's you the fan, whatever, you gotta do something that
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: embraces the spook. So, whether it's like a pumpkin patch
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: on wanted house, whether you go to a coffee shop
- 1:24:38Speaker 6: and get yourself a pumpkin spice Lotte, of course, you
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: do one thing a week that embraces the spook.
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: And the final thing is make.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Pumpkin pumpkin spice is spooky.
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, embracing.
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: The final thing is you gotta do a little decoration
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: in your house outside inside of one pumpkin, eight pumpkin
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: skeletons crawling on your house.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: Something that's my fan there, she's Penny Wise. Yeah, how
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: do you find a picture of my daughter? You are
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: a wizard. You're also very creepy. But yeah, so you
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: can tell that there my son and my daughter. My
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: son's like, oh way, my spider man hoodie and my
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: daughter's like, could I please be the scariest thing I
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: get bag?
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: Yeah, no doubt, she's do you let her watch any
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: of those shows? Yeah?
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: We just started, like, uh, we just started, but she
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: really I let her watch a scene of penny Wise,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: so I let her watch in the super I let
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: her watch it to get together to dip her toe,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: and she was and she was like watching it with
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: me and she goes she got like really scared there.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: She's like, this is so cool. I'm like that's enough,
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: got enough. We watched it also, watching the like on
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: Sunday morning at eight am, Like I'm not letting her
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: see it before she goes to sleep, but she's super cool. Yeah,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: but we do the Spookfest. We go down that with
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: fotone all the time, down to the Hollywood Hard Nights.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: This is a picture of us and Q. We go
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: down to the Hollywood Hard Knights all the time. I'm
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: not a big like spook. My wife loves it. And
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I remember one of our first dates she wanted in Manhattan.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: They do like one of those big like spooky wunted houses,
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: and I would just like whether people come out and scary. Yeah,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: but it was in uh yeah, so they had all
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: those you know, like when you go to like a
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: car washes, those things that hang to block the room
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: so you can't see it. Yeah, So I'd always just
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: push my wife into the room first through that thing
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: and everybody would come out. Then I would just walking
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: like hey, and I knew where everybody was. It's like
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: stop only because your idea to come here. That's my parents. Yeah,
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: as a joke, we did on the thing because my
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: parents died, you know. And I'd always bring out skeletons
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: to my parents because the boys, you know, at that point,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: I'd always had their parents life, and I'd be like
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: I had this joke all the time. You'd be surprised
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: you could find a picture of a skeleton doing anything.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: So whenever you're in the car driving or doing anything,
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: I would always like quld be talking about. I was like, oh,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: my mom just up to my mom. Yeah, I was like,
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: oh yeah, She's like yeah, no, she went apple picking
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: or whatever. And I'd be like, oh, that's cool. And
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: then you would google skeleton apple picking and it would
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: just be a picture of it and I would be like, oh,
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: it's my mom facetiming me. Hey mom, And I would
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: the picture.
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: He'd be like, dude, just so messed up, just twisted
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: in the head.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: Yeah, my son wanted to be Earth. This is my
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: son being Earth. He chose to like, what do we
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: want to be? Away was like, I want to be Earth,
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: so he was Earth. My daughter was an astronaut. I
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: was a pilot, and my wife is a NASA employee.
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: It is really funny, was like an astronaut.
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: Want to be is?
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: I like, he's obsessed with planets at that point, he's
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: just getting into it now. The hardest was last year
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: he wanted to be like these obsessed with minions want
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: to be minions. He's like, I want to be grew
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: and at the last minute he wanted to be a minions,
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: So I had to be grew and I kind of
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: looked like Steve Carella as it is, so like I like, yeah,
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: there it is. Yeah, that's it. My daughter was a
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: minion and uh oh you can be lost. But yeah,
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: so my daughter is like a minion. So we tried
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: to do the family thing. But they're kind of outgrowing
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: it now and that's me as good.
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: Heartbreaking when that is perfect, the whole outgrowing thing, I'm
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: dreading that what is Halloween their favorite.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: No Christmas, right, it's their birthdays kind of birthday.
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: You must do it up on the birthday.
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: We do.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: We used to throw these big parties, but we just
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: started saying, do you want to go on vacation instead.
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: We used to have these huge parties at the house
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: for my daughter. And last year she was like, could
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: we just go away as a family, which I thought
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: was really cool.
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all we do.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: My son loves Legos. We go to Lego Land in
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: Upstate New York. There's a big Lego land, so we
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: go there for his and we just did this world
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: for for hers. And they just started watching all the
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Star Wars stuff. That was fantastic. All Star Wars, so
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: you gotta watch my special. I tell a story about
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: how my son gets scarred for life and.
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: This okay, yeah, five years old.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: He's never been on a ride and we go to
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: Star Wars and it's immersive experience and everybody's in character whatever,
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: and he thinks he got abducted by Ailien. She had
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: never been on a ride, and he starts screaming, I
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: want to go back to Earth. It was yeah, so
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: it was interesting, but he went on it. This year
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: because we had watched the movies and he absolutely loved it. Okay,
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: he conquered his fear.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: Now you brought up legos were you are o kid
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: growing up? So this is for you and your son.
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: You guys gotta do that all day, every.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: Day, every day. I got I got into it during
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: COVID too, Like you started with the puzzles and bold
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: and then you started with the legos, and I started
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: doing the legos.
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: I went to Parks of the Utah with my family
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: and there had like a Lego store at the airport,
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: and I bought the Titanic. And it's been a year
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: and a half now I'm still like halfway through it.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: But every once in a while going there, my daughters
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: will come in. We'll put like three pieces on it,
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: and then we'll just move on to whatever they want.
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: I can't believe that you're able to just leave it
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: sitting there like that.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: It's incredible. I mean, it's a difference in having girls
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: and boys. Yeah, but I've told them I've literally threatened
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: their lives. I do not, under any circumstance ever touches
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: for that, because all.
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: I know they stepped they put one brick wrong. In
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: Step thirteen games. You're over at step forwy too. You're
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: trying to connect something. You're like at the disassemble. They'd
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: be punished a lot for they've done.
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: I would never forgive them because I was a kid
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: that dude. Anytime you wanted me to sit down for
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: two hours, just get me a lego set. Yeah, all day,
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: just do that.
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: What I don't like about the new thing is the
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: instruction manual. I used to free brain it and just
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: build like a ship.
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: They're a real man. You're a real man from the Northeast.
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: Appreciate business. I'm a domesticita cat. Need all of those
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: all of those little sheets intricately. Okay, that's where it goes.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: Did you did you ever hear the toy pipeworks? Did
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: you ever have that growing up? So it's a pv C.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: I'm sure a picture will be up of it in
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: a minute. It's a PVC construction, life size construction set
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: where you could like build these like forts, goat carts
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: and whatnot. I was obsessed with them growing up. My
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: kids have them now and they're how old are your kids?
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: Seven and four?
- 1:29:58Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: You got to get yourself some of the so this
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: is there's a new company that makes them. That's the
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: old school version and the new ones are called you
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: can search for it, you'll find them. But you build
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: like stuff like that and it's just a full set
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: and you can build whatever your mind creates. So then
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: we build these forts, these climbing things, all this stuff.
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: It's really there's no directions especially you do you want?
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: They have an extra there is a thing that you
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: do if you want.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: But have you seen Magnetales game.
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: I'm a Magnetali.
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: Yeah. We make like Civilization.
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: Yeah, get the whole the Triangle ones too. Yeah, oh yeah,
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: I do the Marble Madness things to the marble. The
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: marbles so they give you just the tubes to build
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: your own marble maze and it's kind of like really
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: fun where you just put a marble in and it
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: does all these different tracks. It's really fun.
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: I got to get called Marble Madness when we're little.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: That's it right there. Yeah, those guys, that's fun.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I remember those whereas you're still in the
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: train track in our house.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: I never got into the Thomas or any of those
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: train track things.
- 1:31:00Speaker 6: See, I grew I grew up like because I was
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: never like a lego guy.
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: I was never love Lincoln logs. That's all my cabin.
- 1:31:13Speaker 6: Dude, I feel the same way because everybody's a big
- 1:31:15Speaker 6: lego fanatic and I just never got into it. I
- 1:31:17Speaker 6: felt like all the dads in my circle always loved
- 1:31:20Speaker 6: building the cars, like the old school cars, so they
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: always had them hanging up on their shelves.
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: But I was just never a lego guy. I don't
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: know why if you're if you're a trained guy. I
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: was a hot yeah. I was simple. Lincoln logs and
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: hot wheels me too. I love the jumps. I'll just do.
- 1:31:31Speaker 6: Tournaments all day long with hot wheels, like those orange tracks.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: To the electric ones they had, like the little gun thing.
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: I never got that.
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: That's above me, you've got and then the simple like
- 1:31:44Speaker 6: town rug where you just you got the hot wheels
- 1:31:47Speaker 6: and you're pretending you're you're an NFL player, like oh,
- 1:31:50Speaker 6: this is my house and you're like driving through.
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: But that was that was as far as I Yeah,
- 1:31:55Speaker 2: always an NFL player always yeah yeah yeah. So funny
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: how much you love football.
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: You you grew up playing football too?
- 1:32:08Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, No, I was obsessed with it from from
- 1:32:12Speaker 6: the start. Man My dad was all about it. We
- 1:32:14Speaker 6: always play in the backyard. We'd be the Dallas Cowboys
- 1:32:16Speaker 6: in the nineties, so I'd be like Michael Irvan, he'd
- 1:32:18Speaker 6: be Troy Aikman. I'd get to be all the skill spots,
- 1:32:20Speaker 6: Emmitt Smith, j Nova checked the tight end, and we
- 1:32:23Speaker 6: were just like obviously we'd win like eighty to nothing.
- 1:32:26Speaker 6: But it just be me and the old man pretended
- 1:32:28Speaker 6: to be the Cowboys. So I've always loved it.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: It was the same way about bowling. Who do you
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: think you are? Yeah, that's me, man, I'm a bowler, dude,
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: are you really Yeah? Bowler and mathlete we live very
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: different lines.
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: Bowler mathlete, magician's so cool.
- 1:32:46Speaker 6: We're the type of kid who like made like their
- 1:32:49Speaker 6: own kind of board game on like notebook paper. Like
- 1:32:52Speaker 6: you'd always have a buddy that'd be like, hey, I
- 1:32:54Speaker 6: made this game and be like on their notebook and
- 1:32:56Speaker 6: you just play with it. No, you got to a
- 1:32:57Speaker 6: shield right here. You can't do it unless you have
- 1:32:59Speaker 6: this many types ever.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: Gotten dungeons and dragons and now I think I would
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: love but I did this thing so I when I
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: was younger, my best friend in next door neighbor Jason
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: Joseph was like you like he became like a football
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: kind of guy. But growing up we were best friends.
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: Two biggest yards in Staten Island. All the kids in
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: the neighborhood would come over playing the yards, hanging out,
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: just a chain link fence between us. Right as we
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: got older, I started doing creative writing, better at math.
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: Jason was like better at football talking to girls, right,
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: So all the kids ended up in his yard playing
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: like flag football. I get these pipeworks toys for my
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: twelfth birthday, and at first I build a sword in
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: a shield. That was when I was into my fantasy stuff.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: I had just seen Willow and I started playing out
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: this thing in my mind about like, oh, I'm battling
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: this dragon in my head, right, and I'm just this
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: lanky kid or buy myself in my backyard. And then
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: you know, when you feel somebody looking at you. I
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: look over and all of them are lined up on
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: the fence being like, Joe, what the fuck?
- 1:33:45Speaker 7: What are you doing?
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: To find I explained what I was doing, right, and
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: Jason was I was like, I'm battling this dragon and
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: it's got this two heads, and Jason like, do you
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: need help? And he hopped the fence and he built
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: like a bowstaff and me and him kicked that dragon's ass.
- 1:33:56Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: That whole summer, everybody came and we played adventure games.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: I would narrate these stories and all the kids in
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: my neighborhood ladies. It was the best summer of my life.
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: And that was just what we did. Like I would
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: give everybody powers. We this whole story. I ended up
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: writing them at the end. It was really really cool.
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: That is to be a movie.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I had scripts, which is funny, do you really
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: Because always want to be a director. So that's why
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: I got into the whole game. No ship most film directors.
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: That's what I'll be when I grow up.
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: Because if I obviously every kid goes to like a
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: sword and shield face. But like in my mind, I
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: was like, don't ever let somebody see you do this.
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: You gotta this has got to be at night in
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: the dark, all this out in the open chain league fence.
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: Kids will play tackle football.
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: You want your mom knocking on the door, like what
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: are you doing in there? I'm just playing with my sword.
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: And these kids just look over and they're like we
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: got to help them out.
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: Imagine like that, and it became like this adult thing.
- 1:34:48Speaker 6: This happens down the road from our house in like
- 1:34:53Speaker 6: that big field.
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: Right, we gotta go it every week. And I got it.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: It looks so great man. And what a community, right,
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: what a fun one thing to be a part of. Right, Yeah,
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: it's so it's weird a little. Let's be honest, if
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: we're gonna talk a certain way. I don't know if
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: I could get into it like that, but I think
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: I might be able to. I think in larpening, if
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: I come down to it, I think me and my
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: heards are LARPing it up and do.
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: If we had a group of boys like this and
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: we all like dressed up, I would have no problem
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: buying into something like this. Yeah, and just knowing who
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: they just knowing what your roles are. Who's the king
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: around here? We'll got what he's saying. It is like
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: get them after him.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: Like you imagine you showed up with these guys.
- 1:35:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it would be awesome that because everyone plays
- 1:35:34Speaker 2: like video games like that, like you've ever played Skyroom,
- 1:35:36Speaker 2: those kinds of types of games. It's like, this is
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: we're just bringing it to real life.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: It's cool because it's also a community is built around it.
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: I love that.
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: I love when like minded people find stuff together. That's
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: my favorite part about it. Even like live events, concerts, comedy,
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: like you know, like when you go and you're in
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: a room. I have people come to the shows all
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: the time that don't know anybody. I love that they
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: come to like I don't know anybody here, Like I
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: meet them to meet and greeting. I'm like, could you
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: come with by myself? And I was like, I love
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: that because that is you have the confidence to be
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: around like like I go to like I go to
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: movies by myself. I go to like I love that stuff.
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: Movie go into a movie by yourself and breakfast on
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: like a Saturday morning by yourself. It's kind of an
- 1:36:08Speaker 2: all time movie.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: A cup of coffee by yourself, Like and I love
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: that stuff.
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: Yeah is God. I had a question, Jude. I wanted
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: to ask, how sick is it?
- 1:36:17Speaker 6: Because you seem like a big perspective guy, But how
- 1:36:20Speaker 6: sick is it looking back knowing that you've ultimately gotten
- 1:36:24Speaker 6: to be yourself make a living from it. Yeah, you know,
- 1:36:28Speaker 6: the fame, all that, all that stuff is great, but
- 1:36:30Speaker 6: just knowing that you got to be you. Yeah, that's
- 1:36:33Speaker 6: how cool is that.
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: I was so happy that I didn't like end up
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: on a show where you had to play a character, right,
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: because you just get to be show yourself and then
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: get accepted by this crazy fandom just by being you.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: And then as people get into you a little bit
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: more and stuff like and you find out like it's
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: so cool that people could talk to you could talk
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: to your fans like Instagram, messaging, right, comic cons all
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: this stuff, Like you have that accessibility and I'll hear
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: stories all the time about people being bullied and whatever.
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: And that's like when I start doing anti bullying work,
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: it was like I was like that too. I was
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: like going, And then you realize you're that for people
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: and that changes your whole perspective like that, Like in
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: the beginning, you're like, oh, this is so cool, I'm
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: on TV. But then when you realize what you are
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: for people, family, what Laughter does because the network played
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: in hospitals, prisons, like this is where it was. I
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: got a flat tire in that Like last year, Guy
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: shows up twelve thirty, gets out huge, dude tatted up,
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: comes out of He's like, oh my god, Joe I'm like,
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: hey's like, I just got out of prison five months ago.
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: You got me through it. Could I have a hug?
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, then, thank god because you're very
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: scario this dark alley broken down and broken down, you know,
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: so like it was so cool to be like that.
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: But then you realize that you're at hospitals and people
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: are just going through these things of like people are
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: finding you out there lowis for a reason to laugh,
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: going through chemo, doing whatever. All this stuff you hear
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: and it's like, wow, you don't even think that right
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: when you're like, I'm just making my friends laugh. And
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: then you realize that, and then you realize you have
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: a family, you have a legacy. It's like all that
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: stuff comes into perspective and you just get to be you.
- 1:37:58Speaker 6: That's so cool because it's like you were pushing the
- 1:38:01Speaker 6: you know, the the uh the baby toys, yeah, the
- 1:38:04Speaker 6: baby gear. It's like people are in these you know,
- 1:38:06Speaker 6: this this rat race of the corporate world and all
- 1:38:09Speaker 6: the bureaucracy that comes within everything else. But you've ended
- 1:38:12Speaker 6: up finding a lane to ultimately like beat you.
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's super cool.
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: Yeah.

- 1:39:47Speaker 2: stuff or high school and stuff like that, what are
- 1:39:49Speaker 2: you seeing a.
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: Lot of times it's tough because people will be like,
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: because you're Joe, right, so on TV they're like Joe like,
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh, this guy's a fan, right, so
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: I'd like there he is like, I don't know where
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: I know you from yet I'd like, hey, I'm like
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: you want to take a picture like I was your neighbor.
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: Like it's so fun. And then you see people again
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: and again because you're they're fans, and the fans you
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: recognize some and they come into your fold and whatnot.
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: But you know, a lot of times people like it's
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: like I never say nice to meet you. I always
- 1:40:15Speaker 1: say good to see you, because.
- 1:40:16Speaker 7: You learn it.
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: They're like, if you met somebody before, to them, meeting
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: you is a big thing. But you know, you meet
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: so many people being in the public eye. Sure you
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: guys know, Like it's when fans of your stuff see you,
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: it's like, nice to meet you is very hard to
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: like we met before, And I hate that moment.
- 1:40:29Speaker 6: It's and they go, they go a step further and say,
- 1:40:31Speaker 6: do you remember do you remember?
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: I was thinking to myself, you we just have a
- 1:40:38Speaker 2: good time together right now, let's just say good to see.
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: Where where do I Where do you know me from?
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: I'm like, clearly I don't, So what do you want
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: to talk about it?
- 1:40:47Speaker 2: Yeah, the fans. Fans are awesome having all that, there's
- 1:40:50Speaker 2: always like the one or two that like because you
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: always try to make them have a good time with you. Sure,
- 1:40:53Speaker 2: and you want to feel like, hey, you're one of
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: the boys right now, But then they take it.
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you know you don't want you don't want them
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: to mess it up either. Yeah, you know, because you
- 1:41:05Speaker 1: like I grew up like I didn't get famous like
- 1:41:08Speaker 1: until thirty four I was not on TV till I
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: was thirty four. So I grew up a fan of
- 1:41:11Speaker 1: people like I was a famous So you understand it
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: from that side, Like when you get into limelight later
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: in the years, you realize that you have that fandom
- 1:41:19Speaker 1: has a special place in your heart because you are
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: a fan of people like we worked with Vince Vaughn,
- 1:41:22Speaker 1: and I'm a huge Vince Vaughn fan, right, And I
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: remember when I met him for the first time. We
- 1:41:26Speaker 1: were playing the Nashville Comedy Festival, you know, seven or
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: eight years ago, and we're here in Nashville, right, and
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: he uh, he comes in there. I get in the
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: elevator with him, and we were there for him, like
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: you knew who we were. He's with Steve Burne and
- 1:41:39Speaker 1: he goes, hey, he goes he goes, oh, Steve's hey, Joe,
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: how are you I looking at this? See He's like
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: this Vince something. I didn't say anything. The door shut.
- 1:41:46Speaker 1: We got out the elevator. I was like, and the
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: doors were shut, and I went by and he shut
- 1:41:50Speaker 1: and I.
- 1:41:51Speaker 2: Was like, what am I doing?
- 1:41:52Speaker 1: I was like, I just shipped the bed on meeting Vince,
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: you know what I mean? So it's such a weird thing.
- 1:41:55Speaker 1: Then thankfully I met him again. We became friends, but
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: it was like such a weird thing that as a
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: fan you still choke up.
- 1:42:01Speaker 6: Dude, Steve Burne is so his network. He we got
- 1:42:04Speaker 6: in events where we were at the Notre Dame game.
- 1:42:07Speaker 6: It was Notre Dame Ohio State and we were fired up.
- 1:42:10Speaker 6: I get I forget how Steve knew that we were
- 1:42:13Speaker 6: all there together. We texted him, yeah, yeah, we were
- 1:42:15Speaker 6: in Texas, Steve, and he goes, hey, here's his number,
- 1:42:17Speaker 6: just text him.
- 1:42:18Speaker 2: He'll know.
- 1:42:18Speaker 6: And Taylor and I are like, are you are you
- 1:42:20Speaker 6: sure this is okay? Because one thing in the same thing,
- 1:42:22Speaker 6: like wedding crashes, all of it right, massive vinsvon fans.
- 1:42:26Speaker 2: And he was so fucking cool.
- 1:42:28Speaker 6: We were on the sideline watching the football game talking
- 1:42:31Speaker 6: about what play you should run and yeah, it's it was.
- 1:42:34Speaker 2: It was all time. Man. He's very much himself. Like
- 1:42:36Speaker 2: you talk about being Joe and playing Joe. I feel
- 1:42:39Speaker 2: like Evince for so many years I played himself because
- 1:42:41Speaker 2: you met him in the personality of the back of the.
- 1:42:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I guess that, and the other it was like
- 1:42:44Speaker 6: he looks over Tom Osmoreman never won this, and I'm thinking,
- 1:42:47Speaker 6: does he know I played for Nebraska's He's just kind
- 1:42:48Speaker 6: of saying, like a historic head coach, I have no clue,
- 1:42:51Speaker 6: but this is the sickest moment of.
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: My life, right right, I remember he is very endearing
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: because it's so funny because he's so big. He's such
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: a big guy. He has such a big presence. But
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: when you talk to Vince, he's just like very endearing.
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: Like when you talk to him, he's him like you
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: feel like it, and he'd like I feel like he's
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: just like he could be super intimidating, right, He's like
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: so big, so loud, but he just knows how to
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: do it. And Steve's the best Steve just I mean,
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: I've been friends with Steve ten years. We do our
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: podcast together, you know, Too Cool Moms, and he's, uh,
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: he's just so great to like know because he's always
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: like loves to connect people, he loves He's such a
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: good dude.
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: And he did a great job with his uh like
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: late show I directed that's so did you really directed
- 1:43:30Speaker 2: a special?
- 1:43:30Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:43:30Speaker 2: Awesome? I think it's so last was so good.
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: He it's such a good moment that he's such just
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: so funny, so fast and just a great dude.
- 1:43:40Speaker 2: Yeah, when you were getting into comedy, did you feel
- 1:43:43Speaker 2: like there were a lot of clicks involved. Was it
- 1:43:44Speaker 2: kind of tough at first for you at all?
- 1:43:45Speaker 1: I feel yeah, not really. I mean comedy, stand up
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: comedy especially could get I feel like this is a
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: very nice place now because people are very accepting of
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: the format, love it, you know whatever, and people are
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: doing a thing. But I feel like it's very it's
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: different because it's like Late Night's putting your work in.
- 1:44:01Speaker 1: It's hard and it's hard to find your voice and
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: hard to build it. But everybody has their own process
- 1:44:06Speaker 1: to get there, you know, which is which is cool.
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: But to get to meet all these people inside of
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: it and know them to be fans and be fans
- 1:44:13Speaker 1: of them, like that's really fun. Yeah, to do that,
- 1:44:15Speaker 1: but it's it's definitely its own thing. I took Steve
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: with me during my first show we Get Appleton on purpose,
- 1:44:20Speaker 1: I did Joe gazenad of comedy. Steve was with me
- 1:44:22Speaker 1: and I was like, because I respect him as a
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: stand up, I know he's good, and I was like,
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: all right, Steve, come with me and if it sucks.
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: You gotta jump on stage and help me out whatever.
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: So we go. He goes up, I brought him. I
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: brought Marca Guardgigan, another comic who's on tour with me now,
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: and I do my I do thirty five minutes the
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: first time. I'm up, and I come back in the
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: green room and he's sipping a scotch. I go, how
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: was it? And he goes, fuck you. He goes, I've
- 1:44:42Speaker 1: been doing this for years. You're update your a naturally
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: I hate you. And so he was like, it's like,
- 1:44:45Speaker 1: it's like it's good. He's like, it's good man. You
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: just got to figure out what you're going to talk
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: about up there. Yeah, help me build that. So that
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: first year with Steve, he'd become on the road with
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: me a lot. He was a super great mentor, just
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: somebody who knows what they're doing. So it's really helped
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: you become comfortable.
- 1:44:57Speaker 2: You know, that's awesome. Yeah, do you how do you
- 1:44:59Speaker 2: find your and watching so many other comedians that already
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: found their voice and you love it and you're like,
- 1:45:04Speaker 2: oh man, I'm a fan of what they're doing. How
- 1:45:06Speaker 2: do you not take a little bit of it and
- 1:45:07Speaker 2: use it for yourself.
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: I figured the best thing to do is just be
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: me on stage and I'm not try to be delivering jokes.
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: And I found out quickly I'm a storyteller. I love
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: telling the story and people really enjoy that part of it.
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: So I just was like, Okay, what stories am I
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: going to tell? How do they connect? And then how
- 1:45:25Speaker 1: can I make them as funny as they could be?
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: And that became my process with it. So that's what
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: I really enjoy I grew up. I mean, I'm forty
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: eight this point. I've had a very storied life. I've
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: been through a lot of stuff. I've got lots to
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: talk about, which is really cool. So that's what I do.
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: But I don't shy away from the fact that people
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: know me. You know, they know me from TV. I'm Joe,
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: So if you liked me on TV, you're probably gonna
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: like hearing me just talk up there and tell you
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: more about me and stories. I just feel like it's
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: it's important if you're having fun and people watching you
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: have fun, it's impossible for them not to. I've always
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: just enjoyed that if you're enjoying what you're doing up there,
- 1:45:57Speaker 1: like me and the guys when we were on stage,
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: we're just having fun. You can't sit in there and
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: be like this is terrible, Like you're having fun with people.
- 1:46:03Speaker 1: I wanted to make it an event, especially now when
- 1:46:05Speaker 1: life sucks so hard for people, like, get out there,
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: have some fun, have some lass. Forget about the bullshit.
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: I'm not if they're talking about politics or bullshit whatever.
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: I'm just talking about you know, how this fact hit
- 1:46:13Speaker 1: from Staten Island found his way. You know, I think
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: it's important in the backyard, Yeah.
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: No doubt. Did you ever like when you were leaving
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: in Practical Jokers, we were like, Okay, I want people
- 1:46:24Speaker 2: to know me for comedy now instead of in Practical Jokers.
- 1:46:26Speaker 2: Did you ever struggle with that at all?
- 1:46:27Speaker 10: No?
- 1:46:28Speaker 2: Great question? All right, well.
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: No, I think that's important though, because people like, Okay,
- 1:46:33Speaker 1: this is my identity now, my identity is Joe like
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: it or not. This is me, right, So let's get
- 1:46:38Speaker 1: out there and laugh together. And that's why I say, like,
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: I go on my special, I comment on every I
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: respond to every comment. I'm messing with people on YouTube,
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: every comment I go to, and it's me responding because
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: it's like, if people are like oh this, stay in
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: your lane. This isn't for you. I'll write back, thanks
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: for giving it the shot. Be well, you didn't like it.
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: Comedy's one hundred percent subjective. If you didn't like this night,
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: it's fine, you know, but it's clearly my lane I'm doing,
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: you know, are around the theater, tour around the country
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: like you know, if you didn't like it, it's fine.
- 1:47:03Speaker 1: I don't take offense to that, but I am If
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: you take me and put that on TV, like, it's
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: going to be the same uy, same voice, same thing.
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: I know who I am, right, I didn't want to
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: try to discover myself as a stand up. Of course,
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: there's different aspects you have to think about, you know,
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: and do different things, but I still want to keep
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: the core right.
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: Yeah, do you find it hard to kind of? Uh?
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: Because stand up?
- 1:47:23Speaker 6: I know you got to be on the road a lot,
- 1:47:24Speaker 6: but balancing the family time and everything else.
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: It's honestly easier, a lot easier. I mean, I'm working
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: ten days in October, you know, I'm on the road
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: ten days.
- 1:47:33Speaker 2: Some people are on the road.
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: I'm on the road a lot, But people don't understand
- 1:47:36Speaker 1: the balance of it, you know, because I'm there for
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: what I consider the important stuff. I'm there to drop
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: them off at school, help with homework after the day.
- 1:47:42Speaker 1: During the week, the weekends they're normally busy anyway, they
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: got played eights birthday parties bullshit, Like during the week
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: is when you know, that's when the missus needs to help.
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: That's when it's more important. IM there for family dinners,
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: talking about their day, helping them if they had something
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: in school that went wrong. I think that's the part
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: of it that's good. And you're in charge of it,
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: you know. It's like, I'm not going to go on
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: these are the weekends I can go. I'm going to
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: be here for their birthday. You know, when we toured
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: for the first year, I didn't even realize that I
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: missed my wife's first Mother's Day because it wasn't even
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: in my mind. And we booked a tour so far
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: out and it was the first Mother's Day and my
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: daughter's first birthday. I both was booked for both of them,
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: and it was like, what a fucking And in hindsight,
- 1:48:18Speaker 1: I'm like, you fucking dummy, Like what you're doing, you know,
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: like it's so but you and it's so much you're
- 1:48:23Speaker 1: so much in it and then you just start going.
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: And I tell the story about my daughter. It was
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: just before COVID. She's five years old. I come home.
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: I was on tour with the boys, I was at
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: work whatever, and she was so excited to see me,
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: and she ran up and goes, Daddy, I love when
- 1:48:35Speaker 1: you come to visit. And I'm like, oh, that's hysterical
- 1:48:38Speaker 1: and hurts so bad. Yeah, So I was like, oh,
- 1:48:41Speaker 1: I gotta there's a balance thing going on here, you know.
- 1:48:43Speaker 2: No doubt, it's so hard to find, as fecially as
- 1:48:44Speaker 2: they get older. It is.
- 1:48:45Speaker 1: I think the big thing that I've taken away from
- 1:48:47Speaker 1: it is there's no such thing as balance. It's focus.
- 1:48:49Speaker 1: It's like you're focusing your energy here. Everything is always
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: swirling around you. But you got to take that five
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: minutes to build legos, to hang out, or take your
- 1:48:56Speaker 1: car and beer on the racetrack. You know, whatever it made,
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: but you need to take those times. Like my son says, Dad,
- 1:49:02Speaker 1: can we play. I'll stop whatever I'm doing for five
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: minutes and play with him because that five minutes will
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: be for him and that'll be his favorite part of
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: the day. And I'll find that five minutes somewhere else,
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: I'll stay up. Five minutes later, I'll do whatever.
- 1:49:11Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: So for the most part, you try to do what
- 1:49:13Speaker 1: you can then focus on what you need. I think
- 1:49:14Speaker 1: that's the biggest takeaway for Dad's in entertainment. It's really
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: a hard thing, and I think you know, you know,
- 1:49:20Speaker 1: especially it really is taxing on you to be I
- 1:49:22Speaker 1: think people are getting it, but it's really really hard
- 1:49:25Speaker 1: to balance all that stuff, right.
- 1:49:27Speaker 6: Yeah, I agree with that because it's more of like
- 1:49:29Speaker 6: you understand what your priorities are, how you kind of
- 1:49:31Speaker 6: want to build your life, and it also helps you Okay,
- 1:49:33Speaker 6: these are the things I want to focus on and
- 1:49:35Speaker 6: put my energy into, and I kind of have everything
- 1:49:36Speaker 6: scheduled out now. Ultimately, this gives me the reason to
- 1:49:39Speaker 6: say no to everything else because I would be somebody
- 1:49:42Speaker 6: who enjoys like saying yes, like okay, maybe I can
- 1:49:45Speaker 6: do that always at least say maybe. But I feel
- 1:49:47Speaker 6: like I've learned since rus came into the world that
- 1:49:49Speaker 6: like I've learned what to say no to. It's like, Okay,
- 1:49:52Speaker 6: I know I want to do busting, I know I
- 1:49:53Speaker 6: want to do family time. Everything else I can basically
- 1:49:56Speaker 6: just say no to unless it's something that would be
- 1:49:58Speaker 6: you know, pivotal for or the show or.
- 1:50:01Speaker 2: For the family.
- 1:50:02Speaker 6: It kind of like helps you deviate from like all right,
- 1:50:04Speaker 6: I can say no.
- 1:50:04Speaker 1: To you look at it through a different lens, Like
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: I just wrote, I wrote a kid's book, right, but
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: where's Barry? It's my new kids books, I guess when
- 1:50:11Speaker 1: you guys copies is great. So it's a story about
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: my son and it's he's animated in it as a cartoon.
- 1:50:15Speaker 1: My dog's Pomoni is in it.
- 1:50:16Speaker 2: Like it's so like so we don't even touched on
- 1:50:20Speaker 2: the dog.
- 1:50:20Speaker 1: Yeah, he's just been saying here telling a story and
- 1:50:22Speaker 1: just stroking much evil.
- 1:50:24Speaker 2: It's exactly.
- 1:50:26Speaker 1: But yeah, it's like to be able to do that. Yeah,
- 1:50:29Speaker 1: that's my son and Ppomoni right there, like animated in
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: the book, you know. But to see your kid be
- 1:50:33Speaker 1: like that, and that's part of your thing, like you
- 1:50:35Speaker 1: you get to be able to do those kind of
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: things now, which is totally different. Like years ago when
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: I was selling kids books, I was like, oh, I'm
- 1:50:41Speaker 1: gonna be one of these one day. It wasn't even
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: in your like lens, you know, But it's a it's
- 1:50:45Speaker 1: fun to do that stuff and celebrate the parenthood and
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: make a part of your person.
- 1:50:49Speaker 2: Absolutely, you know, definitely need that book. Yeah I got
- 1:50:52Speaker 2: to you.
- 1:50:53Speaker 1: Yeah it's great, but at home. It's available now to purchase.
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: Where's Barry check it out?
- 1:51:00Speaker 2: No doubt you guys want to hit some teer talk.
- 1:51:02Speaker 2: I would love to hit some tear talk. So I'll
- 1:51:04Speaker 2: break down tier talk for you. I'm sure you watch
- 1:51:06Speaker 2: the show all the time, but I'll just do it
- 1:51:07Speaker 2: for the fans that are watching the.
- 1:51:08Speaker 1: First a lot of first time. I bring up the
- 1:51:12Speaker 1: star star power guys.
- 1:51:13Speaker 2: So there's going there's gonna be a category at least
- 1:51:16Speaker 2: ten people. We'll go through the category and you'll start
- 1:51:19Speaker 2: at your tier three, so your third best, you're gonna
- 1:51:22Speaker 2: paint a picture for us, Tier two, and then finally
- 1:51:24Speaker 2: Tier one, your favorite.
- 1:51:25Speaker 1: Got it?
- 1:51:25Speaker 2: Now, there's always the outlier. Maybe we all agree on
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: one thing and that becomes a god teer. I don't
- 1:51:31Speaker 2: think we'll find that today, but that's just just to
- 1:51:33Speaker 2: put in there. Once you're finished seeing your tier talk,
- 1:51:36Speaker 2: we will go around the bus. One will give one
- 1:51:38Speaker 2: word to express how they feel about your tier talk. Okay,
- 1:51:41Speaker 2: so that's that's what we have. So the tears today
- 1:51:44Speaker 2: is spend the night pranks? I do like I like
- 1:51:46Speaker 2: the night pranks. Yeah, night pranks on friends or activities
- 1:51:49Speaker 2: with friends. That's what it is. Okay, So we can
- 1:51:53Speaker 2: take a couple of minutes think for a second.
- 1:51:56Speaker 6: I'd like to go second or third. I'll just throw
- 1:51:58Speaker 6: that in. I'll just throw that in the universe. I
- 1:52:00Speaker 6: know two I have for sure. I just got to
- 1:52:03Speaker 6: figure out what.
- 1:52:04Speaker 1: When friends pranks?
- 1:52:05Speaker 7: Got it?
- 1:52:05Speaker 1: Okay? So things that you would do as a group.
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: Yes, as a group. Do you have your standard?
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: I have two, so I need three.
- 1:52:14Speaker 2: You need three? Tier talk you're tier three, your tier two,
- 1:52:16Speaker 2: you're tier one. I got them.
- 1:52:27Speaker 6: My tier three. And I hate to admit I never
- 1:52:30Speaker 6: had the balls to go through it and do it.
- 1:52:33Speaker 6: But when your boys you start prank calling, when it
- 1:52:34Speaker 6: was just a landlines back in the day and you
- 1:52:36Speaker 6: had whatever numbers you wanted to do, Hey, i'll call
- 1:52:39Speaker 6: my uncle here. We can get them with this. I
- 1:52:41Speaker 6: never had the balls to be the one on the phone.
- 1:52:42Speaker 6: We always had like we always had a Joe that
- 1:52:44Speaker 6: was with us that was shameless and he would do it.
- 1:52:47Speaker 6: I feel like doing the prank calls and when you
- 1:52:48Speaker 6: get somebody and they have no fucking clue and they
- 1:52:50Speaker 6: start calling friends and figure out who it is. I
- 1:52:53Speaker 6: love that little like giddy feeling as a kid sitting
- 1:52:55Speaker 6: around spending the night with your boys. My Tier two
- 1:52:58Speaker 6: is gonna be ding dung ditching. When you first learn
- 1:53:00Speaker 6: you get your license, you want to just get into
- 1:53:02Speaker 6: some you want to get into some stuff with the boys,
- 1:53:05Speaker 6: and you drive around, you ding dong ditch.
- 1:53:06Speaker 2: You go and sprint, You're sprinting to the car. Come on,
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: we gotta go, We gotta go.
- 1:53:10Speaker 6: That escape plan is all time. My tier one, which
- 1:53:14Speaker 6: I love the most, and it's it's so important for
- 1:53:16Speaker 6: spootober but te peing throwing toilet paper in your friend's yard.
- 1:53:21Speaker 6: My mom, she would drive the getaway van. We'd be
- 1:53:24Speaker 6: at Walmart. You know, you have the jokes like somebody's
- 1:53:26Speaker 6: got an upset stomach at the house, like buying all
- 1:53:28Speaker 6: these rolls of toilet paper to throw them in the van.
- 1:53:31Speaker 6: With this red mini van, she would drive and me
- 1:53:34Speaker 6: and my boys we'd go in tpe. You know, whoever's
- 1:53:36Speaker 6: not in the crew, you go in tpe their house
- 1:53:38Speaker 6: or rolls of toilet paper everywhere. My mom actually set
- 1:53:41Speaker 6: us up one time where we go. We went to
- 1:53:44Speaker 6: one of like her friend's house, and we knew it
- 1:53:46Speaker 6: was also her friend's house, but she had a son
- 1:53:48Speaker 6: that we wanted to get and so we start tepeeing
- 1:53:50Speaker 6: their yard and somebody had a chainsaw in the garage
- 1:53:54Speaker 6: and somebody was ripping a four wheeler around the other side.
- 1:53:57Speaker 6: But somebody started screaming, rips the foil around, were like,
- 1:53:59Speaker 6: we gotta go, we gotta go to where we start
- 1:54:01Speaker 6: exiting toward to We're just where the garage was. Somebody
- 1:54:04Speaker 6: comes screaming out of the garage with the chainsaw. We
- 1:54:06Speaker 6: are losing our minds, sprinting away. My mom's in there laughing.
- 1:54:09Speaker 6: You realize there's a whole setup. But teping is by
- 1:54:12Speaker 6: far and away my Tier one. Okay, that concludes my
- 1:54:15Speaker 6: tier talk.
- 1:54:17Speaker 2: Great classics, solid.
- 1:54:28Speaker 12: Edgy, tradition, nostalgic, schocking, relatable.
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: I would say, yeah, for sure, solid.
- 1:54:45Speaker 2: Do you want to go next? Ye with me to go?
- 1:54:46Speaker 1: I have two of mine. I can probably go.
- 1:54:49Speaker 2: You want to go, Okay, I'll go, I'll go. So
- 1:54:55Speaker 2: my Tier three is very Arizona specific, and here's why.
- 1:54:58Speaker 2: During spoo October, always on the thirty on the thirtieth
- 1:55:02Speaker 2: of October was kind of known to everybody as mischief nights.
- 1:55:05Speaker 2: When you go out you do the all those types
- 1:55:07Speaker 2: of things. Yes, so every once in a while in Arizona,
- 1:55:11Speaker 2: unless you have all the money in the world, everybody
- 1:55:13Speaker 2: has rocks as they're like landscaping. They don't have grass.
- 1:55:17Speaker 2: And what we would do is if a rain was
- 1:55:19Speaker 2: ever to come, we would take fruit roll ups and
- 1:55:22Speaker 2: we put it on their rocks, and when the rain
- 1:55:24Speaker 2: would come, the die would die everybody's rocks on their landscaping.
- 1:55:29Speaker 2: And now I know it's kind of nasty. It's a
- 1:55:30Speaker 2: nasty thing to do, but that that's why it's My
- 1:55:32Speaker 2: Tier three came up two times Shadow Angel the Court.
- 1:55:37Speaker 2: He's a kid that we happened to get one year.
- 1:55:40Speaker 2: I feel really bad. His parents were really mem My
- 1:55:42Speaker 2: tier two. My Tier two is going to go to
- 1:55:46Speaker 2: the classic warm bowl of water to the heaviest.
- 1:55:49Speaker 1: Sleeper finger in the bowl kind of thing finger in
- 1:55:53Speaker 1: the bowl, you.
- 1:55:53Speaker 2: Put it in there.
- 1:55:54Speaker 6: They wet themselves and the boys got because they knew
- 1:55:57Speaker 6: I had a bed wedding problem.
- 1:55:58Speaker 2: Like I got got on that one. You got on that?
- 1:56:00Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I peed the ben tells like fourteen.
- 1:56:03Speaker 2: Oh nice, Yeah, I was never found one.
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: I love there man.
- 1:56:14Speaker 6: Childhood and you're just up in the middle of night,
- 1:56:16Speaker 6: stuffing in a bag, trying to get rid of all
- 1:56:18Speaker 6: the evidence and then blame it on the dog.
- 1:56:22Speaker 2: Terrifying.
- 1:56:23Speaker 1: Do you have a stand up in pe By accident?
- 1:56:24Speaker 2: That's my tier too, Yeah, yeah, you're my tier one
- 1:56:29Speaker 2: is going to go to the t ping. It's getting
- 1:56:30Speaker 2: getting some people is great, But to me, high school
- 1:56:33Speaker 2: te ping was all about getting that girl. You liked,
- 1:56:35Speaker 2: the Alex mac Sudy and you go over there, you
- 1:56:37Speaker 2: find her house, and all the boys gonna say who
- 1:56:39Speaker 2: we're gonna get, and you want to somehow.
- 1:56:41Speaker 6: Put it in there.
- 1:56:41Speaker 2: Hey, would you get Alex? No one really knows you
- 1:56:43Speaker 2: like her, but you want to get her. And once
- 1:56:45Speaker 2: you get all the boys to dive in, throw it
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: over the trees, over the house and everything like that.
- 1:56:49Speaker 2: It's just a it's a fun easy it's it's it's
- 1:56:51Speaker 2: a fun thing that's innocent. It's a nice little deal.
- 1:56:55Speaker 6: I would come back from college at Nebraska and still
- 1:56:58Speaker 6: get the same crew boys and we tp some Yeah,
- 1:57:01Speaker 6: if we if we happen to have a bye weekend
- 1:57:03Speaker 6: I'd go home and we'd rally up the troops and.
- 1:57:05Speaker 2: Go TP and love TP. I did have a couple more,
- 1:57:08Speaker 2: but they were kind of dude. Yeah, there's like.
- 1:57:12Speaker 6: People would do forks in the ground, plastic forks on
- 1:57:15Speaker 6: like a cold night, and then they'd be stuck in
- 1:57:16Speaker 6: the ground. They would egg your car and throw flower
- 1:57:19Speaker 6: on top of it. Like people would do some crazy.
- 1:57:21Speaker 2: Crazy because the egging was always it was a bad deal. Yeah.
- 1:57:24Speaker 2: We would this kid name what was his name, Anthony,
- 1:57:28Speaker 2: Anthony Romano. We called them maggot because he was so short,
- 1:57:31Speaker 2: and he would take wire.
- 1:57:33Speaker 1: Called magot because yeah, yeah, yeah, don't.
- 1:57:37Speaker 2: We would take a wire on this busy street and
- 1:57:39Speaker 2: we put it across like at like a four foot
- 1:57:42Speaker 2: five foot level and cars would go drive by and
- 1:57:44Speaker 2: would scrape their entire car all the way through.
- 1:57:47Speaker 13: Oh my gosh, that diabolical.
- 1:57:58Speaker 4: Yeah, devious, deceptive, unique, dangerous.
- 1:58:12Speaker 2: Fun hyphenated fruit by the foot.
- 1:58:18Speaker 1: The I.
- 1:58:22Speaker 2: Didn't know the fourth thing.
- 1:58:23Speaker 1: The fourth thing, Yeah that's cool. I uh so I
- 1:58:27Speaker 1: have to put the prank call is tier three. But
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: we even used to do it next all. I used
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: to call up when we were on the bus on
- 1:58:36Speaker 1: tour we would just kill time and I would call
- 1:58:38Speaker 1: up a zoom Practical Jokers assistant Antoine, and I would
- 1:58:41Speaker 1: call a place and be like, yes, we want to
- 1:58:43Speaker 1: come in to eat here. I have the Impractical Jokers.
- 1:58:45Speaker 1: They'll have my ass if we don't get a corner table.
- 1:58:48Speaker 1: Do you have a corner table available? It'd be like
- 1:58:49Speaker 1: a Chili's and they're like, it was so bony, and
- 1:58:52Speaker 1: we would set up this whole thing and do that.
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: So that's my number three for two. Three Tier two
- 1:58:56Speaker 1: for me is the thing we used to do a lot.
- 1:59:00Speaker 1: It was called You'd have to get a group of guys.
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: We used to do it and it was a Perkins
- 1:59:03Speaker 1: by me. I don't know if you know. Perkins's like
- 1:59:05Speaker 1: yeah breakfast, yeah, breakfast, but yeah, it was twenty four
- 1:59:07Speaker 1: hour and sat Island or late night whatever. And we
- 1:59:09Speaker 1: used to do this in Goal. We work here, and
- 1:59:12Speaker 1: when it always be so busy that there'd always be
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: a chance that the host stand would be open, so
- 1:59:17Speaker 1: one of us would work as the hostand and we
- 1:59:18Speaker 1: would see people and then somebody would come over and
- 1:59:21Speaker 1: take their order as another friend would come over at
- 1:59:23Speaker 1: the waiter to take that on. These people would think
- 1:59:25Speaker 1: they're being helped, and we would just like leave and
- 1:59:27Speaker 1: wait looking through the window and I'd you're waiting to
- 1:59:29Speaker 1: complain about their food and we would just sit there
- 1:59:33Speaker 1: with like we never took your order like that was
- 1:59:36Speaker 1: really fun.
- 1:59:36Speaker 2: We used to do.
- 1:59:37Speaker 1: We work here at Perkins, but then we take.
- 1:59:39Speaker 6: Their order and go and sit next to the start
- 1:59:40Speaker 6: eating your.
- 1:59:41Speaker 1: We would just sit and wait and then wait watch
- 1:59:42Speaker 1: them go start going because some of our friends would
- 1:59:44Speaker 1: be inside. That didn't work there, right, Yeah, we used
- 1:59:46Speaker 1: to go to group like four or five guys and
- 1:59:47Speaker 1: then they would just wait looking through the window and
- 1:59:49Speaker 1: we just hear the people going crazy, and that was
- 1:59:51Speaker 1: really fun. But my favorite thing we always did, and
- 1:59:53Speaker 1: it worked its way into the show, was just up
- 1:59:55Speaker 1: your ass and to the left. So whenever anybody asked
- 1:59:57Speaker 1: you with something someplaces, do you know, excuse me, do
- 1:59:59Speaker 1: you know how I get the center? Parkie? It's up
- 2:00:01Speaker 1: your ass to the left up over here, and you
- 2:00:03Speaker 1: have to say that to them, looking them in the face.
- 2:00:04Speaker 1: And it made We did it for decades. And then
- 2:00:07Speaker 1: on the show, I'm in the park doing a petition
- 2:00:09Speaker 1: thing or whatever, and somebody walks up to me and
- 2:00:11Speaker 1: goes excuse me, do you know where the bathrooms are?
- 2:00:12Speaker 1: And in my ear, I go, you got up your
- 2:00:14Speaker 1: and I go, yeah, it's up your ass to the
- 2:00:15Speaker 1: left yet And it became a thing. We montaged it
- 2:00:18Speaker 1: on the show. We did it one million times on
- 2:00:20Speaker 1: the show, so whenever anybody asked us anything. But if
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: you don't realize, because if you just look at them
- 2:00:24Speaker 1: in point, they're like, oh thank you, and they say
- 2:00:26Speaker 1: thank you and walk away. It's crazy.
- 2:00:28Speaker 7: Yeah, So that.
- 2:00:31Speaker 1: The it's all like a Jedi mind tree. It's a
- 2:00:32Speaker 1: David Blaine. You look under their watching it's a call it.
- 2:00:37Speaker 2: What's your favorite number? Just strokes the dog, professional, fun, legendary, veteran, creative, original.
- 2:00:53Speaker 4: Camaraderie, harmless.
- 2:00:57Speaker 1: We tried to be.
- 2:00:59Speaker 2: Great to do need a call, quick break? I have
- 2:01:01Speaker 2: to be very badly okay as well?
- 2:01:03Speaker 1: All wait, you don't go together.
- 2:01:09Speaker 2: Did you know about the show at all before you Yeah?
- 2:01:12Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I met you guys before.
- 2:01:13Speaker 6: Oh ship?
- 2:01:14Speaker 1: Yeah what have we met? I met you you guys
- 2:01:17Speaker 1: were doing Bert outside of Zamie's with Steve burn It's great.
- 2:01:21Speaker 1: I make an impression. Hold on, hold on, not awkward
- 2:01:25Speaker 1: at all. Hold On, that's good that's fine, that's good,
- 2:01:27Speaker 1: it's fine.
- 2:01:28Speaker 2: Was I there?
- 2:01:30Speaker 1: Yeah, we talked for three to five minutes.
- 2:01:32Speaker 2: It's great to see you again. A lot of good
- 2:01:34Speaker 2: to see you. There was one of them, No, it
- 2:01:38Speaker 2: was honestly, it was Bert's wife. Bert's wife was doing
- 2:01:41Speaker 2: a show.
- 2:01:41Speaker 1: It was they were doing in Zanies. There was the
- 2:01:43Speaker 1: they were doing a podcast inside there and I wasn't there.
- 2:01:47Speaker 1: And then it was on the bus when you came out.
- 2:01:49Speaker 1: You guys were you were on the bus doing it
- 2:01:52Speaker 1: doing somebody. You were doing a thing, and I just
- 2:01:54Speaker 1: popped instid of low. You were there, you were doing
- 2:01:56Speaker 1: a podcast?
- 2:01:57Speaker 2: No ship? Yeah? Yeah, God what that dude?
- 2:02:01Speaker 7: It was?
- 2:02:01Speaker 1: It was quick. I wouldn't be surprise.
- 2:02:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna eat it. I'm gonna pretend like it doesn't
- 2:02:06Speaker 2: hurt me right now, and I'm gonna wait till we separate.
- 2:02:08Speaker 2: I'm gonna think about this all day long. It's gonna
- 2:02:10Speaker 2: be brutal.
- 2:02:11Speaker 1: No, I never met you, all right?
- 2:02:13Speaker 2: Are you serious?
- 2:02:14Speaker 5: Are you serious?
- 2:02:16Speaker 1: You'll never know.
- 2:02:19Speaker 2: That you do have a blood? Yeah, no doubt. What
- 2:02:26Speaker 2: bring your dog everywhere?
- 2:02:28Speaker 1: No, when I'm when I'm only flying once I take her. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:02:30Speaker 1: I only flew into uh in here and then we
- 2:02:33Speaker 1: were drove around so I could take her.
- 2:02:35Speaker 2: But she's your real service dog, or you get the
- 2:02:38Speaker 2: note from the doctor that allows you to not put
- 2:02:40Speaker 2: her under.
- 2:02:40Speaker 1: Oh no, you buy this on Amazon. You just yeah, easy, Yeah,
- 2:02:44Speaker 1: you don't have to pay for her on the airplane
- 2:02:46Speaker 1: when it's a service dog. But yeah, no, there's a
- 2:02:48Speaker 1: if you have they can't they can't ask you for anything.
- 2:02:51Speaker 1: So it's it's not really a thing. But when you
- 2:02:53Speaker 1: fly Delta, they just have a thing that you have
- 2:02:54Speaker 1: to You literally have the sign that you won't pee
- 2:02:56Speaker 1: on the plane. That's literally that's it there, Like she
- 2:02:59Speaker 1: can and she peas on the playing you have to
- 2:03:00Speaker 1: pay for them to clean it. Like that's that's their problem,
- 2:03:02Speaker 1: you know.
- 2:03:03Speaker 6: So hear'd you guys laugh really loud and I had
- 2:03:06Speaker 6: a lot of fomo.
- 2:03:06Speaker 2: No, it was he put me in a blender and
- 2:03:09Speaker 2: he'll tell you why I go.
- 2:03:11Speaker 1: He said, uh, he said, did you know about the
- 2:03:13Speaker 1: show before and whatever? I and I met you guys
- 2:03:17Speaker 1: and he said, uh, he said no. I said, yeah,
- 2:03:19Speaker 1: I met you guys in Nashville outside his amies. I said,
- 2:03:21Speaker 1: when you guys were doing you guys were doing with
- 2:03:23Speaker 1: Bert and I met you guys and he was like,
- 2:03:25Speaker 1: I wasn't there and I told him, I was, ayeah,
- 2:03:26Speaker 1: you guys were filming an episode and he's like, no,
- 2:03:28Speaker 1: we weren't. I said.
- 2:03:29Speaker 2: He goes, oh my god. Yeah.
- 2:03:30Speaker 1: I said, it's good to see you again and I
- 2:03:32Speaker 1: and then he was it was quiet, and I went,
- 2:03:33Speaker 1: I never met you, and I was like, you were
- 2:03:37Speaker 1: there were no uh no outside for I'll tell you
- 2:03:39Speaker 1: because he's not here for real. When you guys, you
- 2:03:41Speaker 1: guys are doing a thing with Bert, I said a
- 2:03:42Speaker 1: little quick and I met.
- 2:03:45Speaker 2: When he when he was performing.
- 2:03:48Speaker 1: You guys were doing. You guys were doing like the
- 2:03:49Speaker 1: bus was outside. You guys are doing the thing or whatever,
- 2:03:51Speaker 1: and I had come, got you, Yeah, got you? Yeah,
- 2:03:54Speaker 1: that's so I did that. And then I told him
- 2:03:56Speaker 1: I never met him, and then he was like, wait
- 2:03:58Speaker 1: did you? And I was like, you'll never know. How'd
- 2:04:00Speaker 1: you meet Steve through So he had a show on TBS.
- 2:04:04Speaker 1: He had a Sullivan Son okay, and we were on
- 2:04:07Speaker 1: true with ours. So we ended up being at the
- 2:04:09Speaker 1: same like upfront and all that stuff, and then they
- 2:04:11Speaker 1: were on tour doing their Sullivan Son tour and we
- 2:04:14Speaker 1: were torn as the Jokers, and we ended up in
- 2:04:15Speaker 1: the same towns and we were both in like I
- 2:04:18Speaker 1: think it was Phoenix, Arizona. We're both somewhere once together.
- 2:04:20Speaker 2: And he's truly one of the best guys.
- 2:04:23Speaker 10: Man.
- 2:04:25Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know why, I'm oh Josh wolf m.
- 2:04:28Speaker 6: He was in town and he was doing a stand
- 2:04:31Speaker 6: up at Zanies and he has this bit where he
- 2:04:34Speaker 6: has a rookie comedian come up and go for five
- 2:04:36Speaker 6: ten minutes or something like that. Well, I was one
- 2:04:38Speaker 6: of those one time, so I did like a five
- 2:04:40Speaker 6: to ten minute thing and Steve was just helping me,
- 2:04:43Speaker 6: Like you know, I like write all my stuff and
- 2:04:45Speaker 6: he'd helped me punch up on all of it. He's
- 2:04:47Speaker 6: just one of the best man. He truly is one
- 2:04:48Speaker 6: of the best.
- 2:04:49Speaker 1: When we toured the UK, he came in open for
- 2:04:52Speaker 1: us and we did an arena tour. They were likely
- 2:04:53Speaker 1: the two and Shin and he he ended his set
- 2:04:56Speaker 1: by doing a sing along to the Killers bright Side
- 2:05:00Speaker 1: bright Side with everybody and that is awesome, warmed up.
- 2:05:04Speaker 2: Everybody was so far Yeah, how is it touring internationally? Oh?
- 2:05:08Speaker 1: Insanity? So fun I went I had done. I just
- 2:05:10Speaker 1: did Australia, which was cool by myself, I did I've
- 2:05:12Speaker 1: done Canada, which was cool, and then we did as jokers,
- 2:05:16Speaker 1: we did London, which was great.
- 2:05:17Speaker 6: Twice we did it over there and then the island
- 2:05:20Speaker 6: reaches that many people. Because you're probably thinking, all right, yeah,
- 2:05:22Speaker 6: let's go international.
- 2:05:23Speaker 1: You might be thinking, we went to do a London episode.
- 2:05:25Speaker 1: Everybody knew us more than New York. It was insane.
- 2:05:26Speaker 6: We could barely is anybody even gonna know us over there?
- 2:05:29Speaker 1: It's crazy because we we aired on Comedy Central there,
- 2:05:31Speaker 1: but they picked it up in the fourth season and
- 2:05:33Speaker 1: every Monday for two and a half years it was
- 2:05:35Speaker 1: a new episode. So imagine you have a brand new
- 2:05:37Speaker 1: show that you love and every Monday for two and
- 2:05:39Speaker 1: a half years is a new episode. So it caught
- 2:05:41Speaker 1: fire like nothing over there with like the fucking Beatles.
- 2:05:43Speaker 2: That's awest.
- 2:05:44Speaker 1: So we walked over there as cool.
- 2:05:46Speaker 2: I love that's the question, yep, because I know we
- 2:05:49Speaker 2: got to have you up by noon. Yeah, okay, one minute, we're.
- 2:05:58Speaker 1: Going to the backup papers.
- 2:06:00Speaker 2: Yeah.

- 2:06:43Speaker 7: You have to sneak into a highly secured museum to
- 2:06:45Speaker 7: steal a diamond. What's your disguise slash character you're playing?
- 2:06:49Speaker 7: And who would you recruit to be a part of
- 2:06:51Speaker 7: your heist?
- 2:06:52Speaker 2: If you can recruit anybody, or is it like three
- 2:06:55Speaker 2: people or something.
- 2:06:56Speaker 7: Like that, let's do it. Let's do a squad of
- 2:06:58Speaker 7: four people, so you and three other guys, and.
- 2:07:00Speaker 2: It could be people we only people we know, or
- 2:07:02Speaker 2: could be.
- 2:07:02Speaker 7: Anybody anybody let's do anybody Okay, all.
- 2:07:07Speaker 6: Right, I think I think whoever I'm gonna have just
- 2:07:11Speaker 6: calling the shots, he's gonna be Nicholas Cage. I think
- 2:07:15Speaker 6: you have to have Nicholas is a script though, but
- 2:07:20Speaker 6: you're the director. Maybe you're the directory. I think you
- 2:07:23Speaker 6: gotta have Nicholas Cage. I don't know who my fourth
- 2:07:25Speaker 6: one would be, but I know another one would be
- 2:07:27Speaker 6: Owen Wilson from Night at the Museum. You put them
- 2:07:29Speaker 6: in your pocket. Whether I'm a janitor and I get in,
- 2:07:32Speaker 6: I let him out to go like sneak out find
- 2:07:34Speaker 6: the diamond. But you have little Owen Wilson running around,
- 2:07:37Speaker 6: you know, running around the museum. Okay, but that would
- 2:07:40Speaker 6: I know, I have two for sure. Do you guys
- 2:07:42Speaker 6: have any anybody else?
- 2:07:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I absolutely do. I would obviously be a security guard.
- 2:07:47Speaker 2: I think that's the easiest thing for me to disguise
- 2:07:49Speaker 2: as I would have a person calling the shots. George
- 2:07:52Speaker 2: Clooney oceans smart, very smart. He's gonna know everything everything.
- 2:07:57Speaker 2: And what do you do with George Clooney You put
- 2:07:58Speaker 2: his right hand next to him. Got to have Brad
- 2:08:01Speaker 2: Pitt with them, for sure. And then finally, who's going
- 2:08:03Speaker 2: to go down the zip line to make sure everything
- 2:08:05Speaker 2: goes according to planning when they can get themselves in
- 2:08:07Speaker 2: a pinch figure it all out, Tom Cruise, I thought
- 2:08:10Speaker 2: you were gonna say kill possible was crazy. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:08:16Speaker 2: that's my three for me.
- 2:08:18Speaker 1: I gotta get Lucy Low in the mix, Okay. I
- 2:08:20Speaker 1: feel like she's easy on the eyes and it's a
- 2:08:22Speaker 1: bad and yeah, especially that reason. Yeah, I think that
- 2:08:28Speaker 1: Elon Musk has got to be in there because he's
- 2:08:29Speaker 1: gonna throw some serious money behind it. Some ship. I
- 2:08:36Speaker 1: can't take the diamond you have it. I would be philanthropists,
- 2:08:40Speaker 1: would be my disguise, someone who's very regal, and I
- 2:08:43Speaker 1: would need to have my personal security with me the rock,
- 2:08:45Speaker 1: and I think that would be exactly. That would be
- 2:08:47Speaker 1: my good crew as if ship goes down you need
- 2:08:49Speaker 1: them to do some stuff or you know, I think
- 2:08:51Speaker 1: it will work.
- 2:08:52Speaker 2: You understood this assignment one sure, and I've done it.
- 2:08:58Speaker 7: Here.
- 2:08:58Speaker 6: It is my addition to the roster, Tom Cruise. Christ
- 2:09:03Speaker 6: you had him in there, Nicholas Cage.
- 2:09:05Speaker 1: If you bring if you bring Matt Damon as the
- 2:09:08Speaker 1: character born, then for sure that's another good one. But
- 2:09:10Speaker 1: se but I feel like Tom Cruise does his own stunts,
- 2:09:13Speaker 1: so he's gonna be able to pull it off. He's
- 2:09:14Speaker 1: gonna be able to throw him down a garbage, you know,
- 2:09:17Speaker 1: disposal of something.
- 2:09:18Speaker 2: He's the elevator. The elevator scene in the first movie
- 2:09:20Speaker 2: threw me off so bad. It was the first of
- 2:09:21Speaker 2: the third the first. That elevator scene fucked me up.
- 2:09:26Speaker 2: I don't know why. Yeah, mission impossible. When Tom's outside
- 2:09:29Speaker 2: the guy gets squished. Yeah, that really messed me up.
- 2:09:32Speaker 1: Do you take elevators just stairs there, strictly stairs.
- 2:09:35Speaker 2: I'm all elevators all the time, even if it's a
- 2:09:37Speaker 2: one floor. Got to give her right next to it.
- 2:09:40Speaker 2: All the waits too much, too much, too much. Lucy
- 2:09:43Speaker 2: loves a good pull.
- 2:09:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:09:44Speaker 1: I feel like she's she's a badass and she could
- 2:09:46Speaker 1: figure out a.
- 2:09:46Speaker 7: Lot of stuff.
- 2:09:47Speaker 2: I think she's like the the third though, of all
- 2:09:49Speaker 2: the Charlie Charlie's angels, the.
- 2:09:51Speaker 1: Third of them, think so I would go third, Yeah,
- 2:09:54Speaker 1: ranking according to what height?
- 2:09:56Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah yeah, yeah, maybe we'll just say hi, Taylor's
- 2:10:00Speaker 2: preference on women. Yeah, yeah, there's that.
- 2:10:03Speaker 1: Funny I feel yeah that Oh that is terrible.
- 2:10:06Speaker 2: Yeah, tough scene.
- 2:10:08Speaker 6: Are you are you an NFL guy like, who's your
- 2:10:10Speaker 6: team college NFL?
- 2:10:11Speaker 1: Dude, he's Northeast, he has no I'm known famously for
- 2:10:15Speaker 1: knowing nothing about sports but being able to fake my
- 2:10:17Speaker 1: way through it.
- 2:10:18Speaker 2: Okay, dude, was like, what do you fake your way through?
- 2:10:20Speaker 1: Well, well, I'm a New York guy, so I always
- 2:10:22Speaker 1: rooting for New York no matter who they're playing or Giants.
- 2:10:24Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:10:25Speaker 1: Uh but like I'll like, you know, it's so funny
- 2:10:28Speaker 1: because I'll be able to be like be able to
- 2:10:29Speaker 1: hold it up by like the Eagles. You know, they're
- 2:10:30Speaker 1: gonna have good seas. You gotta be careful with this
- 2:10:32Speaker 1: secondaries really lacking. They got to make out for the
- 2:10:33Speaker 1: old line. I'll say, ship like that. You just get
- 2:10:36Speaker 1: people talking like that, just people like.
- 2:10:38Speaker 2: Yeah that's true, Yeah that's true. Like you know what
- 2:10:40Speaker 2: point guys this stuff?
- 2:10:41Speaker 1: Yeah, back and forth. I'll read like Yahoo News his headlines.
- 2:10:45Speaker 1: I'll like me, all right, have I gotta go. But
- 2:10:47Speaker 1: I love like a live event. I'll go to live
- 2:10:48Speaker 1: sports and stuff, but I don't. I never really got
- 2:10:50Speaker 1: into it. I was never good at it, never really
- 2:10:52Speaker 1: tracked it. But uh, I love like a live you know,
- 2:10:55Speaker 1: growing up in New York that like the Yankees, like
- 2:10:57Speaker 1: the lot going to those games and you know, doing
- 2:10:59Speaker 1: Gotcha Day and stuff.
- 2:11:00Speaker 2: It was.
- 2:11:01Speaker 1: That was always fun. But I'm known for like being
- 2:11:04Speaker 1: not a sports guy.
- 2:11:06Speaker 6: You weren't into growing up mathematics.
- 2:11:08Speaker 1: I throw out throughout the first pitch there.
- 2:11:10Speaker 2: That was great, how'd you do?
- 2:11:12Speaker 1: I watched Steve do it. They wanted Steve threw it out,
- 2:11:15Speaker 1: but I was just hype man. I ran out and
- 2:11:16Speaker 1: fired it. This is what I do. This is what
- 2:11:17Speaker 1: I do at sporting events. This is a perfect freeze
- 2:11:18Speaker 1: frame of me. I just get the crowds going, well,
- 2:11:21Speaker 1: I'm a I'm a hype man to the extreme. Yeah,
- 2:11:23Speaker 1: you'll find if you ever had to do a hype pist,
- 2:11:25Speaker 1: then you need somebody as a hype man. If I'm
- 2:11:26Speaker 1: not in the best time, you got it. You got
- 2:11:29Speaker 1: that's they're gonna be the best sale. You need a distraction,
- 2:11:34Speaker 1: I'm your guy.
- 2:11:36Speaker 2: If you see, baseball is probably number one of the
- 2:11:38Speaker 2: sports you don't care about, oh for sure.
- 2:11:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's that's number one.
- 2:11:41Speaker 2: Given your top three sports you don't care about.
- 2:11:42Speaker 1: Okay, I would definitely say soccer. I say that, and
- 2:11:48Speaker 1: I would probably say, uh, it would be baseball. I
- 2:11:52Speaker 1: would say football is my most I would like to watch.
- 2:11:54Speaker 1: I could get through. I like I watch a Super
- 2:11:56Speaker 1: Bowl every year, of course, But I would say the
- 2:11:57Speaker 1: other one is probably tennis.
- 2:11:59Speaker 2: None of tennis guys, JP are not a lot. No,
- 2:12:02Speaker 2: JP loves soccer and tennis.
- 2:12:05Speaker 1: Who's who's your tennis guy?
- 2:12:08Speaker 2: You're it's Djokovic? Right, yeah, for sure.
- 2:12:12Speaker 10: But I like got him in the in the goat race,
- 2:12:14Speaker 10: of course. But as far as guys I like to
- 2:12:16Speaker 10: watch now, I'm partial to my guy Dennis she All.
- 2:12:20Speaker 10: I was Canadian guy killer.
- 2:12:21Speaker 2: Overhand nice he did it again? Overhead?
- 2:12:25Speaker 6: Might not be the move, dude, He's oh yeah, killerr overhand.
- 2:12:30Speaker 1: Versatile right, versatile on the courts though.
- 2:12:32Speaker 10: Yeah, I do have a question though, unless.
- 2:12:34Speaker 1: God, my dog just stepped on my phone and made
- 2:12:35Speaker 1: it talk. This is a Samonio.
- 2:12:39Speaker 10: Spamoni from Hey Arnold, remember him?
- 2:12:42Speaker 2: Yeah? Oh yeah?
- 2:12:43Speaker 1: You all My dogs named after Italian desserts impasta dishes.
- 2:12:46Speaker 1: So I have eleven dogs and this.
- 2:12:48Speaker 2: Is oh yeah, that's right.
- 2:12:49Speaker 6: You do have a shipload of animals, all rescues, right.
- 2:12:52Speaker 1: All rescue. Yeah, I have a rescue in New York.
- 2:12:53Speaker 1: Ghatto pups and friends. It's also it's a senior dog rescue.
- 2:12:56Speaker 2: The hell do you balance twelve animals?
- 2:12:58Speaker 1: It's their pack mentality. Man, They're all mostly just old
- 2:13:01Speaker 1: and don't care about I have a couple of big ones,
- 2:13:03Speaker 1: but for the most.
- 2:13:03Speaker 2: Part, they were all just like Spamone is the leader.
- 2:13:05Speaker 1: Spamoni is not Piscotti.
- 2:13:07Speaker 6: Is my Piscotti, Piscotti myfall JP.
- 2:13:09Speaker 2: I Oh, no, you're good.
- 2:13:11Speaker 1: I was just gonna ask.
- 2:13:11Speaker 10: You said you made your dad tests yep, for when
- 2:13:14Speaker 10: he came from work.
- 2:13:16Speaker 1: What were the tests? I used to have the New
- 2:13:19Speaker 1: Book of Knowledge Encyclopedias, and I used to just open
- 2:13:21Speaker 1: up the encyclopedias and go by and pick out like
- 2:13:24Speaker 1: random facts and make a test around them. And then
- 2:13:27Speaker 1: and then I had gotten the Snoopy and cycly those
- 2:13:28Speaker 1: are my dogs. Then I had got my Snoopy Encyclopedias.
- 2:13:31Speaker 1: They used to sell them at Pathmark, which is just
- 2:13:32Speaker 1: like the you know, the key food or the supermarket
- 2:13:35Speaker 1: by me. And they came out with a twelve book
- 2:13:37Speaker 1: series that I was on the hunt for in vintage
- 2:13:39Speaker 1: stores to find for my kids. And they were called
- 2:13:41Speaker 1: the Snoopy Encyclopedias. And I was obsessed with them. So
- 2:13:43Speaker 1: I used to write out these tests for my dad
- 2:13:46Speaker 1: and now my son makes math tests for me.
- 2:13:48Speaker 10: And I'm like, sorry, Dad, I so mad coming home
- 2:13:52Speaker 10: from work and heyd take this.
- 2:13:54Speaker 1: I was like, get me a scotch.
- 2:13:55Speaker 2: He's just laughing at you while you're getting allers wrong. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:13:59Speaker 2: that is funny, man, Dude, Joe, thank you for coming on.
- 2:14:02Speaker 6: Man.

- 2:14:04Speaker 2: good to see you again, to see amazing, amazing.
- 2:14:10Speaker 6: Yeah, he was telling me and I was like, oh fuck,
- 2:14:12Speaker 6: did he did we actually see him? He was getting
- 2:14:15Speaker 6: I guess I truly don't even know. I truly don't
- 2:14:17Speaker 6: even know either one.
- 2:14:18Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not forgettable.
- 2:14:19Speaker 2: I guess this pod.
- 2:14:21Speaker 6: This pod was awesome. We had a great time this man.
- 2:14:23Speaker 6: I hope you enjoy and remember embracest spook. If nothing else,
- 2:14:27Speaker 6: it's time to embraces a Yeah.

- 2:14:35Speaker 2: you brother.
- 2:14:37Speaker 1: Good girl.
