- 2:34Speaker 2: to the World Wildlife Foundation and search up dope be
- 2:38Speaker 2: Moran's that is d O p e y dope be
- 2:41Speaker 2: like the Dwarf from Snow White and seven Dwarfs, and
- 2:44Speaker 2: I shouldn't say that without before the thing. You can
- 2:46Speaker 2: go on there, and if you could please still be
- 2:48Speaker 2: so kind, perhaps donate to a very good cause where
- 2:51Speaker 2: you'll be helping my wife and my father in law,
- 2:54Speaker 2: her father. Essentially you'll be donating, uh to help them
- 2:59Speaker 2: run for a good call. Were essentially be donating a
- 3:01Speaker 2: mile as my wife will be running the Dopey Challenge,
- 3:06Speaker 2: which is a full marathon, half marathon, ten k and
- 3:08Speaker 2: five k except the you complete opposite way of what
- 3:10Speaker 2: I just said, and then her father will be running
- 3:12Speaker 2: the half marathon. There you are, anyway.
- 3:16Speaker 4: I was fucking talking that whole time. I was talking
- 3:18Speaker 4: to them.
- 3:19Speaker 2: You are you were you were excited to Slencio.
- 3:22Speaker 4: I was talking to the to the to the listeners.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Then they did not hear it for like a good
- 3:27Speaker 4: five minutes. They did not hear you anyway. I'm so
- 3:30Speaker 4: sorry now that you're back. I just did the basic intros.
- 3:34Speaker 4: I am drinking a monster energy.
- 3:35Speaker 2: What are you drinking?
- 3:36Speaker 4: I am drinking that cold hydrogen dioxide. I'm sorry, dihydrogen monoxide.
- 3:46Speaker 4: I always mix that up.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Oh kind of.
- 3:51Speaker 4: It's very gasious but also liquidous.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Now getting a joke off that. So it's good to
- 4:03Speaker 2: have you back. Man, it's been a minute. Thank you,
- 4:05Speaker 2: it's been a while. We'll get to what we're talking
- 4:08Speaker 2: about here, but I know, you know, we obviously we
- 4:10Speaker 2: always chat. But uh, what's new? How's your new digs?
- 4:12Speaker 2: How's life? How's how's it being click clack?
- 4:18Speaker 4: How's it being clickery cluck?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Let me tell you.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Life's good. I'm currently hardcore dodging seasonal depression right now,
- 4:28Speaker 4: which is really great for me. I oh, oh, I'm
- 4:33Speaker 4: so sorry. That is audio coming through. Oh there you go,
- 4:38Speaker 4: fixed it.
- 4:38Speaker 2: I don't want to know what you're watching, but you
- 4:40Speaker 2: were saying, I'm so sorry. There's a lot not a
- 4:46Speaker 2: licensed song. I don't give a ship.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Life's good. I yeah, So I moved not too long
- 4:55Speaker 4: ago in the summer, but the other near the end
- 4:58Speaker 4: of the summer to a new play And as I
- 5:01Speaker 4: was thought that I was telling the audience when I
- 5:04Speaker 4: was by myself, it's great.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I I have a great view of the city.
- 5:08Speaker 4: I have a lot of room. I do have to
- 5:11Speaker 4: get a roommate, but they're really cool. Uh, you know,
- 5:14Speaker 4: just how the economy how it is. You know, I
- 5:17Speaker 4: kind of had to just to save some money. But
- 5:19Speaker 4: saving a good deal of money now, which has allowed
- 5:22Speaker 4: me to do a bunch of other things. Uh you done,
- 5:24Speaker 4: more savings, more, more free income to do with what
- 5:29Speaker 4: I want. I'm going out more. I'm you know, I
- 5:33Speaker 4: have a lot of travel plans now, so very exciting times.
- 5:38Speaker 4: As I was saying, great view of the apartment. I
- 5:40Speaker 4: can see all the all the city lights, I can
- 5:43Speaker 4: see the highway.
- 5:43Speaker 2: It's really cool. It's it was.
- 5:45Speaker 4: It's kind of like a dream apartment of mine because
- 5:47Speaker 4: I've always wanted to have this kind of view and
- 5:50Speaker 4: live here.
- 5:50Speaker 2: So it's really cool.
- 5:52Speaker 4: What else, Work's been great started. I started a while
- 5:56Speaker 4: agoing April May, April May, and so far it's been
- 5:59Speaker 4: really great. So it's almost the holidays and just good
- 6:05Speaker 4: stuff all around. Man, nothing nothing really I can complain about.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Just good stuff.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Man.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Yeah, glad that glad that you're back, Glad that life
- 6:14Speaker 2: is good, and glad that you enjoy your new days.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I remember when you know we're talking about your new digs.
- 6:17Speaker 2: You're a little You had your you had your not
- 6:20Speaker 2: seeing your concerns, but you had your reservations, which is fair.
- 6:24Speaker 4: About the place. Yeah, yes, yes, yes, initially had very
- 6:31Speaker 4: strong reservations when I had uh when I I there
- 6:37Speaker 4: was a period where I had seen it the first
- 6:39Speaker 4: time I toured it, and I was like, oh, yeah,
- 6:40Speaker 4: it's big. And then I came back and it was
- 6:43Speaker 4: starting to plan where myself was going to go, and
- 6:45Speaker 4: then it seemed a lot smaller than I remember. But
- 6:47Speaker 4: now that I've moved back, now that I've been here,
- 6:50Speaker 4: I've been here for a while, it's been great.
- 6:53Speaker 2: I really like it.
- 6:54Speaker 4: It's I I in some areas I have less room
- 6:59Speaker 4: for stuff, and then in other areas I have more
- 7:01Speaker 4: room for stuff, so it kind of balances out. But regardless,
- 7:04Speaker 4: you know, obviously nothing, you know, nothing is perfect in
- 7:06Speaker 4: this world. So there's always, you know, some some small
- 7:09Speaker 4: cons here, there, some moall small complaints that I have,
- 7:12Speaker 4: But overall, I love the new place, and yeah, everything
- 7:17Speaker 4: else has been going on awesome.
- 7:19Speaker 2: No man, I'm glad to hear that. Glad that you're
- 7:21Speaker 2: doing good, Glad that you're back, Lad that you know,
- 7:23Speaker 2: I mean, obviously that's yeah. For those listening, it is
- 7:27Speaker 2: November twenty. First oh, first off, I have to give
- 7:28Speaker 2: a cheers to my brother. Happy birthday to him.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Cheers.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Thank you for your service, thank you for your guidance,
- 7:38Speaker 2: Thank you for being one of the craziest passwords. I know,
- 7:41Speaker 2: I love you, but uh yeah no, I'm glad you're
- 7:46Speaker 2: doing good. It's been a minute. Actually, you kind of
- 7:49Speaker 2: inspired me a little bit, so Lazi for years, clicking
- 7:52Speaker 2: a clack I have I Renee knows this. I have
- 7:55Speaker 2: my groups of friends. I have my groups that like
- 7:58Speaker 2: I you know, some I'll talk to Renee about Star
- 8:00Speaker 2: Wars and gaming. I'll talk to Patrick about professional wrestling
- 8:04Speaker 2: and gaming. I'll talk You'll come to me for women advice.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Wait what what, motherfucker I'm married anyway.
- 8:14Speaker 4: So yeah, there's always room for improvement.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Talking clicking clicker my wife anyway, I h so. And
- 8:23Speaker 2: the thing I like about all my friends we can
- 8:25Speaker 2: always just come together and like even like, even if
- 8:27Speaker 2: we don't have the same it just would always like still
- 8:28Speaker 2: dabble in there. So for years, clickity clack was one
- 8:33Speaker 2: of those people, and I appreciate that respect him for this.
- 8:35Speaker 2: He wasn't the the bull on the horn. If youel
- 8:39Speaker 2: the front horn really trying to give me to buy
- 8:41Speaker 2: a piece. He would let me know about it.
- 8:44Speaker 4: I wouldn't say I was the I wasn't. I wasn't
- 8:46Speaker 4: the horn, but I was the ass of the bull you.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I was when the PS five creze happened and no
- 8:57Speaker 2: one could buy him. I'll there forget I sent I
- 8:59Speaker 2: don't know if you remember I sent you a fake
- 9:01Speaker 2: uh eBay notification that my order had gone through for
- 9:05Speaker 2: a PlayStation. He's like, because this is after I told
- 9:10Speaker 2: him to like, do you have really want to get
- 9:11Speaker 2: a PC? Shit like that? And of course I had
- 9:14Speaker 2: one in the process coming in or actually I think
- 9:17Speaker 2: I already ordered one, and he was just like he
- 9:20Speaker 2: of course he as he said, he was the ass
- 9:22Speaker 2: of a rhino or a bowl. But anyway, point of
- 9:25Speaker 2: trying to get he has inspired me because I haven't
- 9:27Speaker 2: do his new digs yet. I need to make time.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I need to do my best to get over to
- 9:30Speaker 2: see his new.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Digs and I haven't and to your and to your credit,
- 9:35Speaker 4: uh not not to uh take take to take some
- 9:40Speaker 4: blame off, I've also haven't been done a great job
- 9:43Speaker 4: of inviting people over there. There's still a lot in
- 9:46Speaker 4: the apartment that I need to set up. I've been
- 9:47Speaker 4: so lazy since I moved in.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Which which is that? I mean got it. I may
- 9:51Speaker 2: have been my house for two years, I still got sht.
- 9:53Speaker 2: I got out box. But anyway, click a clac used
- 9:56Speaker 2: at his old apartment, he had what I would call
- 9:58Speaker 2: a NERD's dream in his own Yeah. So he inspired
- 10:01Speaker 2: me for years to like really kind of amp up
- 10:04Speaker 2: my office. My office is not the biggest office. This
- 10:07Speaker 2: is a great office. Put it's any office. It's the best,
- 10:10Speaker 2: but it's the greatest office. It's the greatest. Nothing beats it.
- 10:14Speaker 4: So we can't we can't make those jokes or those
- 10:18Speaker 4: uh imitations anymore.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Oh no, you should have heard the election post episode.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Oh that's all I did, was was that guy and
- 10:24Speaker 2: then miss.
- 10:25Speaker 5: I I'm from the middle class anyway, Actually pretty recently
- 10:32Speaker 5: for the podcast anywhay you inspired me and I finally
- 10:35Speaker 5: decided to say fuck it last weekend and I just
- 10:38Speaker 5: spend some money.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I got some ship to put up my fucos. I
- 10:41Speaker 2: cleaned up a little bit. I bought some shit from
- 10:43Speaker 2: my lightsabers, some pictures and shit, and like here's a
- 10:48Speaker 2: funny thing. Is like I and I literally after I
- 10:51Speaker 2: you know, I had somehow thank you to my mother
- 10:52Speaker 2: for helping with some of the stuff. After I we
- 10:55Speaker 2: put everything up and I think it was finalized everything.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I cleaned up a little bit, had some inner. Actually
- 11:00Speaker 2: I went to the gym after and I gotta work
- 11:03Speaker 2: out it. I came home showered and I walked into
- 11:05Speaker 2: my office and like I was to I was like
- 11:07Speaker 2: ready to go to bed. But like the second I
- 11:08Speaker 2: walk into the office and I saw it, like pretty much,
- 11:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna say, it's like not fully, that's like ninety
- 11:14Speaker 2: five percent done. When I walked in and I saw
- 11:17Speaker 2: what it was, I just got this like oh, like
- 11:22Speaker 2: this release of just emotion of just like cool, not cool,
- 11:26Speaker 2: I want to say, coolness of just easiness of like
- 11:29Speaker 2: oh finally, like it's not as crammed. I mean it's
- 11:33Speaker 2: so crammed, but it's not as crammed. It's not as
- 11:36Speaker 2: their shit everywhere. It's just it was just this easiness
- 11:39Speaker 2: of just all finally, which also you know, like I
- 11:41Speaker 2: was like it like calmed me down, down, down down.
- 11:46Speaker 2: It actually like energized me and upo till like two
- 11:48Speaker 2: o'clock in the morning, just gaming and I was just like.
- 11:50Speaker 4: No, it's not like this is really nice.
- 11:54Speaker 2: And of course my dumb ass. I did a lounge
- 11:57Speaker 2: chair in here too, and of course, like like I
- 11:59Speaker 2: literally was working here yesterday and I made the jack
- 12:01Speaker 2: off chair. No, of course not. And I'm literally sitting
- 12:03Speaker 2: there and I literally leaned back to like, you know,
- 12:05Speaker 2: do like one of like a good old back cracks
- 12:07Speaker 2: in the chair. But Mike Dice forgot that. I put
- 12:09Speaker 2: funkos up on the wall and alsodden, I almost knocked
- 12:11Speaker 2: half them fucking over, So cookie move. But I'm getting
- 12:14Speaker 2: that right through. But to say thank you for years
- 12:19Speaker 2: ago for being the ass of a bull that got
- 12:21Speaker 2: me to buy a PC, and then also thank you
- 12:23Speaker 2: for you were not even you weren't even an ass
- 12:25Speaker 2: I was forgeting like the first time you came to
- 12:26Speaker 2: my house. You saw the puncos and you saw like
- 12:29Speaker 2: the how I put it, the state of the office,
- 12:35Speaker 2: the state of the office. Yes, thank you, you were
- 12:38Speaker 2: just like you. Like he just looked at me and
- 12:40Speaker 2: here's the thing, click and he clack. Ladies, gentlemen, day,
- 12:43Speaker 2: very good friend, very good friend. He's not free to
- 12:47Speaker 2: speak as mine. No, he just looked at me, shook
- 12:50Speaker 2: his head and walked.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Yeah, it was goddamn disgrace. That's what it was.
- 12:58Speaker 2: It wasn't It wasn't that like what I the funk was.
- 13:00Speaker 2: It's just like you can have so much more shit
- 13:02Speaker 2: like spread out, which and that's what I've done. So
- 13:04Speaker 2: it's it has been, and it's I'm not gonna like
- 13:07Speaker 2: it's one of those things where I thought like, Okay,
- 13:08Speaker 2: it's not gonna not. I didn't think it was gonna
- 13:10Speaker 2: be as cool. I'm saying not anything was gonna be cool,
- 13:13Speaker 2: but I think I would like, actually like appreciate as
- 13:15Speaker 2: much as I did. And the second I was done that,
- 13:17Speaker 2: I was like, oh man, because like you know, I
- 13:19Speaker 2: got my I got my wife's lightsabers, Hunt Up, I
- 13:21Speaker 2: got mine hunt up. Yeah, I got my wrestling titles
- 13:25Speaker 2: that my mom bum and I was like seven years
- 13:26Speaker 2: old hunt.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Up to I I yoh yeah. It's great when especially
- 13:32Speaker 4: when you finish it. I mean it's look, it's it's
- 13:34Speaker 4: a lot of hard work. I've had to do it.
- 13:36Speaker 4: This will be my third time having to set it up.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Each time. It's a hassle. Half the time it's fun.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Halftime it's like, oh my god, I just want this
- 13:43Speaker 4: to be over yep. But the minute you finish and
- 13:46Speaker 4: it's all set up. It's like all the pain of
- 13:50Speaker 4: setting it up and the potential of having to take
- 13:53Speaker 4: it down again in that moment, none of that matters,
- 13:55Speaker 4: cause it's just like I'm living read teenage nineties teens
- 14:02Speaker 4: boys dream, you know.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Even better have adult money exactly.
- 14:07Speaker 4: I mean it it does suck because you know, moving
- 14:10Speaker 4: and stuff, having to take it down, and it really
- 14:13Speaker 4: does because like you're like, I did all this work to.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Put it up and it looks so good. I don't
- 14:17Speaker 2: want to go, but.
- 14:18Speaker 4: You know, it's part of the process, and I'm really
- 14:21Speaker 4: trying to streamline it now so that when I do
- 14:24Speaker 4: have to do it, it's not, uh, it's not a
- 14:27Speaker 4: six month thing. It's like a you know, two month thing.
- 14:31Speaker 4: So I've been you know, putting some fuckers away into storage,
- 14:34Speaker 4: ones that I don't really appreciate more. I'm consolidating the
- 14:38Speaker 4: art collection. I had a very big art collection, and
- 14:41Speaker 4: it was i'd even put it out fully the last time,
- 14:44Speaker 4: so I've kind of I've already you know, consolidated it
- 14:47Speaker 4: down once already. So you know, just finding the pieces
- 14:50Speaker 4: that really bring you, Joey, the pieces that you really
- 14:54Speaker 4: speaks to you, is really what matters, and you know,
- 14:57Speaker 4: you as you grow, you kind of have to learn
- 14:59Speaker 4: to let things go and you know, downsize every now
- 15:01Speaker 4: and then. And you know, unfortunately we're not millionaires who
- 15:05Speaker 4: can have ten mansions and each mansion has its own collection, right,
- 15:10Speaker 4: you kind of have to learn. So what I'm really
- 15:12Speaker 4: looking forward to in the future is I don't I
- 15:16Speaker 4: don't think it's gonna happen in their future, but I
- 15:18Speaker 4: know eventually one day I'll get a home. You know,
- 15:22Speaker 4: maybe I'll even move homes, but at least my first
- 15:24Speaker 4: home I hope to be in for more than you know,
- 15:27Speaker 4: two three years, and at least have like a permanent, permanent,
- 15:34Speaker 4: more than semi permanent place where I can keep my
- 15:38Speaker 4: collection and not have to take it all down and
- 15:41Speaker 4: put it all up again for you know, a long
- 15:43Speaker 4: period of time.
- 15:44Speaker 2: See, that's the thing. I'm glad you've actually mentioned that,
- 15:46Speaker 2: like put in the storage, because actually I had. I
- 15:51Speaker 2: had two friends of mine recently stay over at my
- 15:54Speaker 2: casa because I haven't said where I live for obvious reasons.
- 15:59Speaker 2: But I'm not too far from a very certain airport,
- 16:02Speaker 2: and we have now become essentially kind of like a
- 16:05Speaker 2: hub of like Hey, let's hang out, let's spend the night.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I have a good night, and then do you want
- 16:07Speaker 2: to do the airport the following morning? So I'll never get
- 16:12Speaker 2: One of my friends. It was one of their first
- 16:14Speaker 2: times at the house, and they got here particular it
- 16:15Speaker 2: was just like one of those like blond days where
- 16:17Speaker 2: a lot like it also just made to like a
- 16:18Speaker 2: lot shit came up with work and life and will
- 16:20Speaker 2: that be a little shit. So they're here and they're
- 16:21Speaker 2: finally I'm like walking through this before the office was
- 16:23Speaker 2: done pretty much, but the funkals were still in their
- 16:26Speaker 2: little spot that I that you know where they're at.
- 16:29Speaker 2: So he literally walks in and he sees it and
- 16:31Speaker 2: he's like, dude, that's sick. He goes like, how do
- 16:34Speaker 2: you know which ones are in the back? Which I'm like,
- 16:38Speaker 2: I'm a nerd. I have a fucking system, to which
- 16:40Speaker 2: then he was saraty. He goes, all right, fine, tell
- 16:42Speaker 2: me called me out my own home, thanks Elliott, And
- 16:49Speaker 2: I told him the system I have au like that,
- 16:52Speaker 2: but like and now, and the funny thing about that
- 16:54Speaker 2: is like, as I obviously have clean up a little
- 16:55Speaker 2: bit of stuff in my house, we've moved stuff my
- 16:59Speaker 2: wife and I have actually donate a lot of stuff.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Because that's a funny thing too, is once you buy
- 17:03Speaker 2: a home or or when you buy when you live
- 17:06Speaker 2: by yourself, you realize how much ship you really don't need.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Yeah, like I literally have.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I I have these uh these like not like plastic bins,
- 17:17Speaker 2: they're like cloth bins for clothes and ship like that.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I'll ever forget. I bought like an eight pack from
- 17:22Speaker 2: Amazon like a year ago. It was like an eight
- 17:24Speaker 2: pack of these things. You can, I mean you can
- 17:27Speaker 2: and clicking. I'm a big guy, so my shirts are
- 17:29Speaker 2: already big enough, so I can, I mean I can
- 17:31Speaker 2: still fill these fuckers up. I think I have three
- 17:34Speaker 2: left because I donated the other five because.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Like, yeah, I have I have three baskets. I have
- 17:39Speaker 4: one for one for like socks and underwear, one for
- 17:43Speaker 4: like all shirts like shirts in general, and then the
- 17:46Speaker 4: last ones for like miss like jeans and other like misle.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Yeah, like you just need three. It's really only your
- 17:52Speaker 4: name mac match Max. Some people I know have one,
- 17:55Speaker 4: are you well?
- 17:57Speaker 2: Last year Caitlin my wife, she bought me. I won't
- 18:01Speaker 2: say who because they want sponsor the show. I mean,
- 18:03Speaker 2: if you listen to the podcasts, you probably know what
- 18:04Speaker 2: I'm talking about. And she bought me. Essentially, there was
- 18:06Speaker 2: like a Black Friday deal. It was like, Hey, tell
- 18:09Speaker 2: us your your person size, and there here's all these shirts.
- 18:13Speaker 2: We're you're gonna get all these shirts. You can get
- 18:15Speaker 2: like twenty shirts or something like that. Of course you
- 18:18Speaker 2: know you'll get long sleeve, short sleeve pols, the whole
- 18:20Speaker 2: nine yards. Whatever you return, you get money back for.
- 18:22Speaker 2: And all this shit I didn't return I think I got.
- 18:25Speaker 2: I donated one to a friend because all the shirts
- 18:28Speaker 2: look really good on me. Also helps I've lost a
- 18:29Speaker 2: couple pounds or shit like that. But like and nonxious
- 18:33Speaker 2: because and here's the thing, because I have all these
- 18:34Speaker 2: other shirts that I before that, and I'm like, I don't.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I don't need to wear a fucking shirt with the
- 18:40Speaker 2: joker on it, Like like I don't because it's like
- 18:43Speaker 2: one He's like, when was the last time I wore
- 18:45Speaker 2: this shirt? It's like, oh yeah, I'll never forget, like
- 18:47Speaker 2: I had this. I was at this really cool party
- 18:49Speaker 2: and I wore this shirt. It's like, who cares the
- 18:53Speaker 2: end of the day. The end of the day. The
- 18:55Speaker 2: only clothes that really matter is the oftening you wear
- 18:58Speaker 2: on your wedding day, your favorite out or four off
- 19:02Speaker 2: its your clothes were your wedding day, your favorite outfit
- 19:05Speaker 2: to like where when you go out your favorite like
- 19:07Speaker 2: sport outfit in your birthday suit. That's it. Yeah, that's
- 19:10Speaker 2: the only four office who gives a ship.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I I I used to think I had no clothes,
- 19:15Speaker 4: and then like right now my walk in closet with
- 19:20Speaker 4: two draw like three drawers in it is pat with
- 19:25Speaker 4: just like a bunch of stuff, and I'd say a
- 19:29Speaker 4: good quarter to a third of it, I'm no longer
- 19:31Speaker 4: in love with. I don't want to wear or I
- 19:34Speaker 4: don't wear often. And it's like I feel a shamed
- 19:37Speaker 4: for like giving away or throwing it away. But it's
- 19:40Speaker 4: like like a bunch of stuff I just don't want anymore.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Either I outgrow it or it gets I get shrunk
- 19:46Speaker 4: in the wash, or.
- 19:48Speaker 2: For whatever reason, I just you know, it no longer.
- 19:52Speaker 4: I no longer wanted.
- 19:53Speaker 2: My even can attachment to it.
- 19:54Speaker 4: There's like no exactly exactly, and and like I think,
- 19:58Speaker 4: I think h at least for my family, my parents,
- 20:05Speaker 4: you know, they did do a bit of screen spring
- 20:07Speaker 4: cleaning kind of you know they will obviously if I'm when,
- 20:12Speaker 4: you know they will give away clothes. If you know
- 20:15Speaker 4: when I was a baby, like my baby clothes. When
- 20:17Speaker 4: I turned five, you know, obviously I don't need baby clothes.
- 20:20Speaker 4: Or when I turned thirteen, they gave away clothes I
- 20:22Speaker 4: was wearing sex obviously right, But like Stu, I don't
- 20:27Speaker 4: know they they they didn't really unless they unless it
- 20:32Speaker 4: was like clogging up the house badly, they really wouldn't
- 20:37Speaker 4: give stuff away. So I never But from that I
- 20:44Speaker 4: learned two things. I learned to keep everything, but because
- 20:47Speaker 4: I didn't want to be that way, I also learned
- 20:51Speaker 4: to at a very young age, to like, Okay, you
- 20:56Speaker 4: don't need this, despite what you think, you don't need this,
- 20:58Speaker 4: just give it away. And it's okay to give stuff away.
- 21:02Speaker 4: So I'm very glad, like I uh not that my
- 21:05Speaker 4: parents are hoarders, But like I learned, because of how
- 21:09Speaker 4: much stuff was in the house, I learned that I
- 21:12Speaker 4: didn't want to be there. Now, I am no minimalist
- 21:15Speaker 4: at all. I like stuff, Do not get me wrong,
- 21:18Speaker 4: I like stuff.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Before, Like I've had some friends of mine that like,
- 21:22Speaker 2: you've had a baby, you've had a beer with their
- 21:24Speaker 2: twoing most like they're like, yo, that's your old office.
- 21:28Speaker 2: It was fucking sick, and like I.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Know, yeah, yeah, but.
- 21:34Speaker 2: There's nothing wrong with that.
- 21:35Speaker 4: That's what there's right exactly. It's what makes you have you.
- 21:39Speaker 4: But you have to there has to be a point
- 21:41Speaker 4: in time when you're like, Okay, I no longer connect
- 21:44Speaker 4: with this artwork, I no longer need these electronics, accessories
- 21:49Speaker 4: or whatever. I know, I no longer need this set
- 21:54Speaker 4: up my collection or this or this figure or whatever. Like,
- 21:58Speaker 4: there comes a time where you have to be like,
- 22:01Speaker 4: I'm keeping it because I already have it. No, you
- 22:04Speaker 4: don't have to do that. You can give it away,
- 22:06Speaker 4: you can sell her or whatever. Like, you don't have
- 22:08Speaker 4: to keep something forever because you spend money on it
- 22:11Speaker 4: at one point and really appreciate at one point, but
- 22:13Speaker 4: are no.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Longer in love with it.
- 22:14Speaker 4: If you're no longer in love with it, you know,
- 22:16Speaker 4: let it go.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Set it free. Yeah, that's why I was. I was
- 22:19Speaker 2: gonna mention because you talk like putting some of the storage,
- 22:21Speaker 2: so like a while, I don't. I think I might
- 22:23Speaker 2: have sent it to you. I'm not sure. But like
- 22:25Speaker 2: when I was in Germany visiting my wife, there was
- 22:29Speaker 2: a day I'll never forget. It was like a random
- 22:31Speaker 2: work day because thankfully the company I worked for, you
- 22:35Speaker 2: know a lot of people visitor and work like work
- 22:37Speaker 2: remote stuff like that, and it was like a random day.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I think, like where I just finished up and I
- 22:40Speaker 2: think she was at the office in traffic, so of course, like, okay,
- 22:43Speaker 2: rushot can take it home. And I'm sitting in it
- 22:45Speaker 2: with my dog and my dog and I like we're
- 22:47Speaker 2: outside and we're just playing. We're just like hanging out,
- 22:49Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, I just got this urge
- 22:52Speaker 2: to like be like like and here's the thing. I
- 22:54Speaker 2: hadn't even thought about it, maybe because I hadn't been
- 22:56Speaker 2: in my office in like three weeks at this point,
- 22:58Speaker 2: and I did this right before I came home, and
- 23:00Speaker 2: I'm like, you.
- 23:01Speaker 6: Know what, like there are some funkos I am that
- 23:04Speaker 6: like I don't need, like they're just collecting dust at
- 23:08Speaker 6: this point. Part of the part of the reason is
- 23:10Speaker 6: mostly because like you know, some of minor gifts mustle
- 23:12Speaker 6: is like I when I when I you know, when
- 23:13Speaker 6: I got the fucking bug, which is crazy to saying,
- 23:16Speaker 6: like almost ten years ago, when I got the fucking bug, right,
- 23:19Speaker 6: was buying all them. But then of course as time
- 23:21Speaker 6: went on or hell, even better versions of the ones
- 23:24Speaker 6: I had came out, right, So then forget. I went
- 23:27Speaker 6: on the app and I was like making the list
- 23:29Speaker 6: of like oh myself is and I'll never forget.
- 23:30Speaker 2: It got to the point where I had so much
- 23:32Speaker 2: on the list, I saw myself like what the fuck
- 23:34Speaker 2: am I doing?
- 23:35Speaker 4: Yeah, at one point I had like I don't know,
- 23:37Speaker 4: like one hundred grand like something ridiculous. It's like like
- 23:41Speaker 4: fifty grand or some of your wishes of the wish list.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Remember that. It's because we're like we're gonna collect these,
- 23:47Speaker 4: but it's like we're we're middle class nerds, don't have
- 23:51Speaker 4: giant homes where we gonna put all this stuff. Well
- 23:55Speaker 4: you get the but like, yes, I definitely agree you.
- 23:58Speaker 4: When you start off in funk there's this bug of
- 24:01Speaker 4: like there was this huge type of collect all all
- 24:05Speaker 4: of them that you can or any yeah, to catch
- 24:07Speaker 4: them all anyones that you even remotely like, because you know,
- 24:09Speaker 4: the bigger the collection, the cooler of the collection.
- 24:11Speaker 2: And I don't think.
- 24:14Speaker 4: I think funkos started out as something of like you
- 24:18Speaker 4: collect specific ones, but it quickly became something that you hoard.
- 24:22Speaker 4: But I think it's it shouldn't be something that you
- 24:24Speaker 4: hoard so much as something that enhances or boosts the
- 24:30Speaker 4: rest of your collection of stuff of memorabilia. You know,
- 24:33Speaker 4: it shouldn't be the It shouldn't be the only thing.
- 24:35Speaker 4: It should it should it shouldn't even have to be
- 24:37Speaker 4: a focal point. It should just be something when you
- 24:41Speaker 4: can't buy something bigger of said character or whatever, or
- 24:45Speaker 4: something's too expensive or you need to save space, that
- 24:49Speaker 4: you get funk goos. But that doesn't mean you you know,
- 24:53Speaker 4: that doesn't mean don't buy big things or don't buy
- 24:56Speaker 4: more expensive things. It just means there's an option she
- 25:00Speaker 4: gets something smaller, cheaper, you know. But but that doesn't
- 25:04Speaker 4: mean you have to make that you complete collection.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Well, right, And I think, like I'll never forget like
- 25:09Speaker 2: I was when I was when I had this or
- 25:11Speaker 2: not even like when I was doing the whole like
- 25:12Speaker 2: selling thing. I just like I had like a decent
- 25:15Speaker 2: amount and then like I'll never forget, Like when I
- 25:17Speaker 2: questioned myself and I was like, what am I only
- 25:19Speaker 2: wait a minute, I'm like, wait, you know what, and
- 25:22Speaker 2: I I said the ones I had listed out and
- 25:25Speaker 2: I was like when was the last time I was like, Oh, hey,
- 25:28Speaker 2: I'm gonna just check out you know, like you know
- 25:30Speaker 2: that's what you do something. I just go to my office,
- 25:32Speaker 2: like when other than just check out my competer, I'll
- 25:33Speaker 2: check on the either shit I have. And my I
- 25:34Speaker 2: was like, oh is this okay? Like I'm a look
- 25:35Speaker 2: at this in a while, or hey, is that one
- 25:37Speaker 2: thing I really care about still there? Because I'm not.
- 25:39Speaker 2: You know, sometimes you just don't think about it. Thankfully,
- 25:42Speaker 2: my my father, like one of the things you always
- 25:44Speaker 2: taught me was like, hey, take care of your Shi'll
- 25:45Speaker 2: take care of you. So it's like, hey, yeah, like
- 25:47Speaker 2: I want to make sure that my shit's good. I'll
- 25:50Speaker 2: never forget. Like when I was going through this list
- 25:52Speaker 2: and I saw this, I'm like a lot of these
- 25:54Speaker 2: like I haven't been like oh my god, like I haven't.
- 25:57Speaker 2: That's one of my favorite ones, you know what I mean.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Or it's like, oh, that's in the front of the line.
- 26:01Speaker 2: It's like no, that's like in the back corner, in
- 26:04Speaker 2: the back of the lot. And I'm just like, you know,
- 26:06Speaker 2: I'm not gonna stop. And I haven't sold them yet,
- 26:09Speaker 2: but I have the list which I'm gonna put up
- 26:10Speaker 2: for sale and stuff like that. But I'm just like
- 26:12Speaker 2: and and and at the end of the day, and
- 26:14Speaker 2: I literally did the math like when I, let's say,
- 26:16Speaker 2: like hypothetically, like in a perfect world, I do sell
- 26:18Speaker 2: the ones that are on this list of ones I'm
- 26:20Speaker 2: gonna sell. I'm just like em great, I'm gonna use
- 26:23Speaker 2: that money for obviously maybe like someone like maybe like
- 26:25Speaker 2: a nice night for my wife and I, or I'll
- 26:26Speaker 2: use it to buy other ones something like that. But
- 26:28Speaker 2: like I'm not like because like you know, Renee and
- 26:30Speaker 2: I will sometimes send each other ship, but like we're
- 26:32Speaker 2: not I'm not joking. I don't remember the last time
- 26:34Speaker 2: you and I send each other or something other than
- 26:36Speaker 2: maybe the Godzilla one where we were like, oh, let's
- 26:39Speaker 2: fucking go.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm I've I after Endgame and after the shows
- 26:46Speaker 4: that you know doing in the movies. I hid out Endgame.
- 26:49Speaker 2: And No Way Home were probably like the last.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Bit like after that, I kind of lost steam on
- 26:55Speaker 4: the whole Marvel thing. And now I'm like, there's some
- 26:58Speaker 4: Marvel pops in my collection that I do not feel
- 27:00Speaker 4: attached to, and I'd rather just I'd rather get rid
- 27:04Speaker 4: of a bunch of them and just like shoring it
- 27:06Speaker 4: down to like the endgame, the endgame kind of trilogy
- 27:11Speaker 4: and then now just focus on Star Wars ones or
- 27:16Speaker 4: more especially more more more more specifically Godzilla ones that
- 27:21Speaker 4: I really want, not all of them, but like Godzilla
- 27:24Speaker 4: pops that I really want, and like, you know, got
- 27:27Speaker 4: a Star Wars pop here there.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Well that was something you don't even talking about for years,
- 27:30Speaker 2: Like you know, it's like, hey, what's your dream lineup?
- 27:32Speaker 2: And for you is always right and like finally after
- 27:35Speaker 2: years of like years, are like like, oh, here's a
- 27:37Speaker 2: random one or oh here's another one. It's like they're like, hey,
- 27:41Speaker 2: we're gonna at least like ten once the hype is dead,
- 27:46Speaker 2: once the bug's gone. They're like, yeah, all the ones
- 27:49Speaker 2: you want to stop those going down? When this is legit,
- 27:52Speaker 2: they're CEO. The guy who bought the company twenty years
- 27:54Speaker 2: ago leaves and opens a competing company which is not
- 27:58Speaker 2: doing so hot now, I guess, but like allegedly, but
- 28:00Speaker 2: like it's just like it's just funny because here's the
- 28:02Speaker 2: problem not too is like I'm going to you go
- 28:04Speaker 2: to like a tar like and that's the thing that's
- 28:06Speaker 2: the and I get it. It's like it was during
- 28:07Speaker 2: COVID and that was the problem. They didn't think that
- 28:12Speaker 2: and by way, this this is nothing what we're gonna do.
- 28:13Speaker 2: But I'm like, we're doing it. But this is what
- 28:16Speaker 2: their problem was. And it was like all these people
- 28:19Speaker 2: were home during the pandemic, like you and like myself.
- 28:23Speaker 2: We weren't going out, we weren't doing anything. All I
- 28:26Speaker 2: was all we were doing. Yeah, all we were doing
- 28:29Speaker 2: was saving our money because we weren't able to go anywhere,
- 28:33Speaker 2: and we were just eating in or trying to order
- 28:34Speaker 2: Uber Eats or whatnot, or we're just buying Funk or
- 28:37Speaker 2: you're an eye case, we're just buying Punko pops. And
- 28:39Speaker 2: of course they fucking skyrocketed their their stock went through
- 28:43Speaker 2: the fucking roof. And of course, once the pandemic ended
- 28:47Speaker 2: and people started going back to work, people started traveling
- 28:50Speaker 2: and all this stuff, the problem was they got to
- 28:52Speaker 2: be like, oh, no, we're gonna make We're gonna make
- 28:54Speaker 2: twenty thousand of this fucking random han solo comic booking thing.
- 28:58Speaker 2: And yet you go to a char like I'm not OK.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Like there were days you go to a Target, a
- 29:02Speaker 2: Walmart and you'd be lucky. If you saw a fucking
- 29:06Speaker 2: like I got a scale of one to ten, like
- 29:08Speaker 2: like a three on the shelf. You go to a
- 29:10Speaker 2: target now or another major retailer, the fucking shelves are overflowing.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Yeah, like a game stop like they just they I
- 29:18Speaker 4: every time. I mean I don't go often, but every
- 29:21Speaker 4: time in the past like three years, that I've gone
- 29:23Speaker 4: to a game stop for whatever reason. Yeah, it's just
- 29:26Speaker 4: walls of fucos that no one is buying. And I'm
- 29:30Speaker 4: just like, I.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Have to send you. I'm not gonna say where. I
- 29:34Speaker 2: have to send you a game stop. Okay, I'm not
- 29:36Speaker 2: joking again. This is not what we're planning to talk
- 29:37Speaker 2: about tonight, but where we are. I have to send
- 29:40Speaker 2: you this game stop location. And I went to is
- 29:43Speaker 2: today Thursday. On Tuesday, I had not I didn't. I
- 29:46Speaker 2: haven't really had a great week of work. I'm not
- 29:48Speaker 2: gonna I'm just gonna go off to say that. But anyway,
- 29:52Speaker 2: I'm the one thing about my funcal thing. Even if
- 29:54Speaker 2: I sold all my phone and Kaylyn knows this, the
- 29:56Speaker 2: one thing about my phone collection, even this, I would
- 29:58Speaker 2: sell everything. If you know everything we go. The one
- 30:01Speaker 2: that I won't get rid of is my Stormtroopers. That's
- 30:03Speaker 2: the one thing. I literally have a Stormtrooper tattoo, so like, yeah,
- 30:06Speaker 2: they're not going anywhere. And the Clone Troopers. So I
- 30:09Speaker 2: literally found they had this one. Yeah, I mean if
- 30:15Speaker 2: everything else left and they stayed, it's probably about thirty
- 30:18Speaker 2: five percent. So anyway, which funny enough, really, I have
- 30:23Speaker 2: one of those baseball cases which I put like the
- 30:24Speaker 2: rarest ones in there, and on top of that put
- 30:26Speaker 2: all the Clone Troopers and I'm still like shit, like
- 30:29Speaker 2: I have so many more still to put out. Anyway,
- 30:31Speaker 2: but I did. Anyway, point me, I we did this
- 30:33Speaker 2: game stop because they said they had this one Clone Trooper.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I was looking forwards. I couldn't find it was on it.
- 30:38Speaker 2: It was a sale like ten dollars. And when I
- 30:41Speaker 2: tell you this was the biggest lineup other than like
- 30:45Speaker 2: a store that primarily sells them. When this is the
- 30:48Speaker 2: biggest lineup of good funkos I've seen in a long
- 30:51Speaker 2: fucking time. Let me just say this, if I really
- 30:54Speaker 2: haven't play the Star Wars games, you have, you know
- 30:56Speaker 2: the Star Wars legends more than I do, and stuff
- 30:58Speaker 2: like that. When they literally ones that are supposed to
- 31:01Speaker 2: be in a double box and they're out there being
- 31:04Speaker 2: sold separately for cheap. That gives you an idea of like, oh,
- 31:09Speaker 2: this is not good now. Don't get me wrong, I bought.
- 31:13Speaker 4: Them, yeah, and and going off that, I mean, listen,
- 31:20Speaker 4: we were all spending money on again, Like I said,
- 31:23Speaker 4: really and quota. I have a collection of art work
- 31:26Speaker 4: from one artist that was super into at the time.
- 31:28Speaker 4: Don't get me wrong, I still appreciate them. I haven't
- 31:30Speaker 4: bought a piece of their artwork and forever, and I
- 31:32Speaker 4: now have an entire collection of our work that I
- 31:37Speaker 4: still like, but I don't feel the necessity display it.
- 31:41Speaker 4: And I spent a lot of money on it, and
- 31:44Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, well what now what do I do?
- 31:46Speaker 4: So now, like I plan to give them away as
- 31:49Speaker 4: gifts or you know whatever. But it's like, yeah, all
- 31:53Speaker 4: this money could have saved you know, if I hadn't
- 31:56Speaker 4: spend it. But it's just like it is what it is,
- 31:59Speaker 4: and you know, it's already happened.
- 32:01Speaker 2: So it's kind of like for artwork, I'm not really
- 32:04Speaker 2: into like the most artsy stuff, but like I have artwork,
- 32:06Speaker 2: but all the artwork I have is gifts. I have
- 32:10Speaker 2: some from you which I have to put up. I
- 32:12Speaker 2: have some from my wife. She literally bought she bought
- 32:15Speaker 2: these two, Like I'm not gonna say that she got
- 32:17Speaker 2: them custom made, but she bought these two custom Star
- 32:20Speaker 2: Wars like artist pictures from Germany. One this is a
- 32:23Speaker 2: badass one of the Empire, which I got a good,
- 32:26Speaker 2: quick funny story about that in a second. And the
- 32:27Speaker 2: other one is just all the Star Wars characters if
- 32:29Speaker 2: they were cats, but it's badass. And then of course
- 32:33Speaker 2: I have those ones of that, like the God's Olla
- 32:34Speaker 2: ones that you sent me, which are super badass. Like
- 32:36Speaker 2: I love the one where I can't remember the exact line.
- 32:38Speaker 2: It's like, uh God, it's something about like you know,
- 32:42Speaker 2: like like a creature on Earth that no machine or
- 32:45Speaker 2: something nothing can kill. Like I can't remember the exact line,
- 32:48Speaker 2: but like every time I see that pain, I'm like, like, God,
- 32:50Speaker 2: what a badass fucking line. It's gonna Yeah, it's a
- 32:54Speaker 2: long with the two thousand and one g and I
- 32:56Speaker 2: can't remember them. What the fu? Oh you know you
- 32:59Speaker 2: know I'm talking about and I can't remember what it is.
- 33:02Speaker 2: But anyway, like, and that's why I think like artwork,
- 33:05Speaker 2: like if you buy it on your own could be
- 33:06Speaker 2: hard because Okay, for example, I have it in my garage,
- 33:10Speaker 2: shag Zilla Drew he bought me up. Actually he bought
- 33:14Speaker 2: Kaitlin and I to whats uh, I mean, they're i'll
- 33:17Speaker 2: say it, displays. They're popular. Still he bought me two
- 33:20Speaker 2: displays a couple of years ago for the Cubs and
- 33:23Speaker 2: the Bears. Okay, they're up in my garage. They're really
- 33:25Speaker 2: nice and stuff like that, and I don't forget, like
- 33:27Speaker 2: you know, Kaylin' says like, like, is that something you want?
- 33:29Speaker 2: And I'm like, honestly, I don't know, because I feel like,
- 33:32Speaker 2: here's the thing. If I kept looking up from my
- 33:34Speaker 2: computer and I saw all these displays on my wall, right,
- 33:38Speaker 2: I would just be like, okay, I need to move
- 33:40Speaker 2: that one. Like nope, I need to move that one. Okay,
- 33:44Speaker 2: but we move that one over here. Which is why
- 33:46Speaker 2: I like the limited art work I have because for
- 33:47Speaker 2: not saying I don't like, I love like because also
- 33:50Speaker 2: it's okay, the artwork I have means because you want
- 33:53Speaker 2: to want. They were from people that I love, like you,
- 33:55Speaker 2: like my wife, like true and like when they Robbitt's like, hey,
- 33:58Speaker 2: this is something that a friend of mine went out
- 34:00Speaker 2: the way to get me, and I have it up
- 34:02Speaker 2: as like a you know, honestly, like it's kind of
- 34:04Speaker 2: like a holemdge to you people, but it's kind of
- 34:06Speaker 2: like a little bit in a way. It is. But
- 34:08Speaker 2: it's also because like you got that for me, right when,
- 34:12Speaker 2: I feel like even you buy it on your own,
- 34:16Speaker 2: that's a little tough m because it's like, oh, I
- 34:19Speaker 2: bought this really cool sick thing. Because here's like like
- 34:22Speaker 2: in like high school. I mean, I wasn't really like
- 34:26Speaker 2: a poster guy. I really was. That just wasn't my thing.
- 34:30Speaker 2: I'm not. I shit, you not the nice one. The
- 34:34Speaker 2: posters that were in my bedroom, I think I had
- 34:36Speaker 2: like a Bears one. Maybe the majority of the posters
- 34:40Speaker 2: be no, God, what's yeah?
- 34:44Speaker 1: I was.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I was at the Hail Merry game. I don't need
- 34:47Speaker 2: to talk about that shit again. But anyway, the majority
- 34:49Speaker 2: of the posters in my bedroom for were originally my
- 34:52Speaker 2: sisters and my brothers because that was their room before
- 34:54Speaker 2: I took it. And this ship just never came down.
- 34:58Speaker 2: I still remember to this day. There's a fucking classic.
- 35:00Speaker 2: It's you can find it anywhere, lads and gentlemen online.
- 35:02Speaker 2: I don't know if they sell anymore. It's a picture
- 35:04Speaker 2: of a cat hanging from a power line and there's
- 35:06Speaker 2: a word under the cat says, oh shit, like that's
- 35:08Speaker 2: that that is ingrained in my memory because I was
- 35:11Speaker 2: my sister's like poster in her bedroom and shit like that.
- 35:14Speaker 2: But I feel like with artwork it's a little hard.
- 35:16Speaker 2: But like with collectible stuff, like that's like, hey, like
- 35:18Speaker 2: this is something that you bought because it had the
- 35:19Speaker 2: connection with you and something, but not that artwork can't.
- 35:21Speaker 2: And I know some people that do collect art. I
- 35:23Speaker 2: know people that do art. Good for you, you know
- 35:25Speaker 2: what I mean. But like and the polemtramic is I
- 35:28Speaker 2: get where you're going. Where you're trying to say, Like
- 35:30Speaker 2: maybe you're considering like game rid of some art or
- 35:31Speaker 2: like or not you just give it of art, just
- 35:33Speaker 2: gear it of stuff. Because as we get older, like
- 35:36Speaker 2: our interest change or not even the financials don't talk
- 35:39Speaker 2: about the financially our interest change and stuff changes, or
- 35:42Speaker 2: like the amount of room you have changes. It's like,
- 35:44Speaker 2: I don't know what you're like. I don't know what
- 35:46Speaker 2: your current I don't even set it up yet, but
- 35:48Speaker 2: your current landscape is like because like your office, like
- 35:50Speaker 2: while the way were on. It was nice. As you said,
- 35:52Speaker 2: it was kind of tight, but like for what you
- 35:54Speaker 2: had and what you need, it worked For what I
- 35:57Speaker 2: have and for what I need. This is perfect because,
- 35:59Speaker 2: like I said, I just see my two bookshelves from
- 36:02Speaker 2: my punkos, I have my desk. We're going to put
- 36:03Speaker 2: the other special ones, and I hunt up a couple
- 36:05Speaker 2: up on the wall after you know, years of going, oh,
- 36:07Speaker 2: I should put them up because I don't never forget that.
- 36:09Speaker 2: This is the one sor I was gonna tell you,
- 36:12Speaker 2: I'll never forget my father. I won't say where he
- 36:15Speaker 2: used to live and now where he's currently living. Obviously
- 36:17Speaker 2: he had he was up here. This is right after,
- 36:20Speaker 2: not till after Kayl and I bought our house, and
- 36:23Speaker 2: he's like, hey, I'm here. My trip back to where
- 36:28Speaker 2: I'm going to get more shit got delayed. I have
- 36:31Speaker 2: the trailer. Is there anything you want to bring into
- 36:33Speaker 2: the house. I'm like, huh, that's a great idea. Dad,
- 36:36Speaker 2: come on over to where we were staying. And of
- 36:39Speaker 2: course my dad's sitting in there, sitting in the driveway
- 36:42Speaker 2: or whatever or where we were staying last waiting for
- 36:44Speaker 2: me to come out with where the hell's gonna break?
- 36:46Speaker 2: And I spread these two giant bookshelves and my dad
- 36:48Speaker 2: looks at me and he goes, that's it. I'm like, yeah,
- 36:52Speaker 2: He's like, We're gonna drive all the way to your
- 36:54Speaker 2: house with these two random ass bookshelves in my truck.
- 36:58Speaker 2: I'm like, yep, he just and he goes, kid, you
- 37:03Speaker 2: know what, you have a weird way of taking of
- 37:05Speaker 2: like season opportunity because there is so much more shit
- 37:08Speaker 2: that I would have thought you. But then again, like that,
- 37:11Speaker 2: I mean, for one of like Cali is our first home,
- 37:13Speaker 2: we didn't have like a lot of that huge, thick stuff,
- 37:15Speaker 2: you know what I mean, we didn't have like how
- 37:17Speaker 2: like uh where we live. And it's actually and I
- 37:20Speaker 2: encourage even and this is not me just like blowing smoke.
- 37:23Speaker 2: I legitiately mean this. I encourage where you live. If
- 37:25Speaker 2: you I would encourage your neighbor to do this. Where
- 37:27Speaker 2: we live, our trash company once a year. What they
- 37:30Speaker 2: do is they come around and then pretty much like
- 37:32Speaker 2: certain trash companies, they can't take certain things. Once they'll
- 37:35Speaker 2: come around unless it's a chemical. They'll take whatever, they'll
- 37:37Speaker 2: take TVs, they'll take chairs, they'll take pretty much everything
- 37:41Speaker 2: but chemicals and literally legit like actual full trees. They'll
- 37:44Speaker 2: take anything with those two things. Yeah, so what our
- 37:48Speaker 2: neighborhood does.
- 37:49Speaker 7: And in Mexico, there's a very funny meme because the
- 37:53Speaker 7: people who do that have like a giant car, a
- 37:56Speaker 7: giant truck and they've been playing the same recording for
- 37:59Speaker 7: like the last fifty years, and it's just.
- 38:01Speaker 4: Like fridges microway.
- 38:04Speaker 2: And it's a little girl.
- 38:05Speaker 4: It's a little girl like blaring at blaring through like
- 38:09Speaker 4: a speaker. Okay, she's just like she's like speakers, microwaves, refrigerators, anything.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Like, it's just a whole thing.
- 38:18Speaker 4: But because they've been using the same audio for fifty
- 38:20Speaker 4: years and it's not like biggest riam in Mexico, but.
- 38:23Speaker 2: No, but that's what we do here. So such people
- 38:25Speaker 2: put their stuff on the side of the road and
- 38:29Speaker 2: it's kind of like it's not it's not like a like,
- 38:32Speaker 2: oh I'm gonna put it on this day. It's kind
- 38:33Speaker 2: of like, hey, they come this day, hit yourself up,
- 38:36Speaker 2: put your if you could put yourself out from this
- 38:38Speaker 2: day to this day, m hm. Because that way, it's
- 38:41Speaker 2: like because also usually weather pertaining, like you're not gonna
- 38:43Speaker 2: you're not gonna go pick up a couch that's been
- 38:44Speaker 2: sitting in the rain for two days. Well, then forget
- 38:47Speaker 2: like literally, our our main table in our dining area.
- 38:50Speaker 2: We pick it off the street. It's a really nice
- 38:52Speaker 2: fucking it's and I'm not joking. I say it's it's
- 38:53Speaker 2: a really nice fucking table. Now the cheers that came
- 38:56Speaker 2: with it, I you're say, when they're on the side
- 38:57Speaker 2: of the road. Now, hindsight, because my fat ass, my
- 39:01Speaker 2: friend Devin's ask have broken my tears? Am I broken too? Yeah?
- 39:07Speaker 2: Broken two and he cracked one. Yeah, because they're flimsy chairs,
- 39:12Speaker 2: even though we brought them in we know cana and
- 39:15Speaker 2: we tightened the screws. We clean them off real nice
- 39:17Speaker 2: and all this shit, you know. But yeah, no, that
- 39:19Speaker 2: that doesn't work anyway. But yeah, Like I just feel like,
- 39:23Speaker 2: as of course we get older, but it's not always
- 39:25Speaker 2: it cours because like I've had friends of miney asks
- 39:27Speaker 2: about like you just there's other things in general. I'm like, yeah,
- 39:29Speaker 2: why not? Like, look, here's why I look at It
- 39:33Speaker 2: doesn't matter if you're twenty five or sixty five. If
- 39:37Speaker 2: you have the money and you have an interest in
- 39:39Speaker 2: something buy it why, because I'll sit on your shelf.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Is something you're proud that you you spend your harder
- 39:45Speaker 2: money to get, and later on, you know what happens
- 39:47Speaker 2: If you don't like it anymore? You sell it? So what? Okay?
- 39:51Speaker 2: You either might make a problems a gentleman.
- 39:54Speaker 4: It's always an investment.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Right, you might, you might, you might sell, you might
- 39:58Speaker 2: keep it forever, or you might sell it for even
- 40:01Speaker 2: more than what you paid for. Perfect example, and clicking
- 40:04Speaker 2: up this made the perfect example. All my friends were
- 40:07Speaker 2: saying why I should buy a PC and the one
- 40:11Speaker 2: word everyone said across the board, including my wife who
- 40:14Speaker 2: doesn't game, said what what do you have to lose?
- 40:19Speaker 2: It's an investment? And you know what, I've had this
- 40:22Speaker 2: beautiful baby now for fuck yeah, about four years. We're
- 40:26Speaker 2: going on four yeah, we're going on four years. Because
- 40:28Speaker 2: it's pretty much I got it right for The podcast
- 40:30Speaker 2: started in March of twenty one because I was suposed
- 40:32Speaker 2: to get for Christmas, but then it came I'm not
- 40:33Speaker 2: gonna bring out the word for bad juju anyway, but
- 40:36Speaker 2: when I got it, and ever since the night or
- 40:38Speaker 2: doing why because ever since I got it? What's going on?
- 40:41Speaker 2: In the gaming world, all these problems with the Xbox,
- 40:44Speaker 2: all these shit problems with the piece with the PS five,
- 40:47Speaker 2: and he's like, oh my god, look at this great game.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Or here's a PS five pro which is one thousand
- 40:52Speaker 2: dollars and if you want to buy the seat, dbdar
- 40:54Speaker 2: to pay eighty bucks for that. Oh by the way,
- 40:56Speaker 2: only like two games actually can play sixty frames per
- 40:59Speaker 2: second in this ship, so you're just really buying the
- 41:02Speaker 2: name fuckers allegedly. But yeah, like that's the best part
- 41:07Speaker 2: about collecting. Like there's a risk, but there's a reward,
- 41:09Speaker 2: but at the end of the day, it makes you happy.
- 41:11Speaker 2: I have And here's the I'm not a sports card guy.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Actually I have a friend who actually I'm actually saying so,
- 41:17Speaker 2: and I realize I have a guy who actually like
- 41:19Speaker 2: owns like a side sports card things. But I talked
- 41:21Speaker 2: about it. I have a giant box full of sports cards, Baseball, basketball,
- 41:25Speaker 2: some football. I'm sure there's some pop not like nothing
- 41:28Speaker 2: like the crazy rare Pokemon once but like, and it's
- 41:31Speaker 2: like sayings like why don't I just yeah, like I
- 41:33Speaker 2: need to just like I could probably sell them for
- 41:35Speaker 2: a good amount of money or I keep them for longer.
- 41:37Speaker 2: So when I have kids, or if I have kids,
- 41:39Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, like you know, Ken Griffy
- 41:41Speaker 2: Junior has like five kids and for them in the
- 41:43Speaker 2: Hall of Fame, and that car just goes whoa up
- 41:45Speaker 2: to the fucking you know what I mean?
- 41:46Speaker 4: So yeah, no, man, I speaking about PC and Medeo games.
- 41:51Speaker 4: So Chuck, what are you gonna get? Space? Maris too?
- 41:54Speaker 2: And join and did and Eric, Eric finally got the man.
- 42:02Speaker 4: We werelready playing together.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Okay, I didn't know last time I heard you were
- 42:05Speaker 2: giving him ship.
- 42:07Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, he got about a month ago. Okay, Well,
- 42:09Speaker 4: you're waiting for the waiting for you know, our final brothers.
- 42:13Speaker 2: You're waiting. You're waiting. You're waiting for the true boss,
- 42:15Speaker 2: the final boss.
- 42:17Speaker 4: We're waiting for our crew.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Yeah, you got fucking ludicrous and fucking uh tyree over there.
- 42:22Speaker 2: You're waiting for Vin Diesel to come and save your ass.
- 42:24Speaker 2: I'll get you.
- 42:26Speaker 4: We're waiting for uh uh who's.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Yeah, you can you can't you know who is? You
- 42:32Speaker 2: can't you can't ask. You can't ask who assault me
- 42:34Speaker 2: by telling by having me tell you who to call it.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Compare me to funk off anyway, I want to respectful
- 42:42Speaker 2: the time. Oh you're the guy I can't remember now.
- 42:47Speaker 4: From Tokyo Chip.
- 42:49Speaker 2: No one remembers, Oh the fucking Maine. Oh that dude.
- 42:54Speaker 5: Hey, hey he was he's.
- 42:56Speaker 2: The Tokyo Drift.
- 42:58Speaker 4: Yeah, he was in one movie that was.
- 43:00Speaker 2: No, he was in a couple others after that, which ones,
- 43:02Speaker 2: the newer ones, the ones that no one watches watch
- 43:06Speaker 2: any way, that is clicking clack. I'm sorry. I want
- 43:11Speaker 2: to give you the floor. Do you have anything you
- 43:13Speaker 2: want to say? Blub promote.
- 43:14Speaker 4: We didn't get to the stuff we want to.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Talk, which is fine. It means you come back on
- 43:18Speaker 2: next week or two weeks we're talking, then it's good. Yeah, yeah, nothing.
- 43:25Speaker 4: What do I have to plug?
- 43:28Speaker 2: You don't have to play, you.
- 43:30Speaker 4: Know, go listen to old Chucks Canteena's episodes where I'm
- 43:34Speaker 4: on because those are the best ones.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 43:36Speaker 4: Uh, we're all going through We're all going through. We're
- 43:39Speaker 4: all going through tough times in one way or another,
- 43:43Speaker 4: and I'm sure we're all gonna need some help over
- 43:45Speaker 4: the next few years for numerous reasons. Uh nothing specific,
- 43:50Speaker 4: but numerous. So just be kind takes another and be
- 43:55Speaker 4: kind costs a lot to be mean and rude, you know,
- 43:59Speaker 4: so just be kind and take care of those that
- 44:01Speaker 4: you care about.
- 44:04Speaker 2: And on that note, as always, you can find us
- 44:06Speaker 2: at Chucks Cantina on your socials Chucks can't and no

- 45:31Speaker 2: we can just like do a full length thing on that. Yes,
