- 0:55Speaker 5: that make our skins shake. So let's listen to the
- 1:01Speaker 5: process of being rotten.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Should we go around in the say our names?
- 1:07Speaker 1: Yes, let's go around.
- 1:09Speaker 6: I'm Gervai's Peanut and I play Dark Side of the Moon.
- 1:16Speaker 2: What movie is that? In God Woman? Hello, my name
- 1:24Speaker 2: is Henry Bouffo, and I played bone Apart in the
- 1:31Speaker 2: Batman trilogy. Bonaparte is Napoleon Bonaparte reimagined and rebuilt as
- 1:42Speaker 2: a cyborg like man trying to take over the world.
- 1:48Speaker 4: Of course, of course, Hello, my name is Jared Heath.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Happy to be back.
- 1:56Speaker 4: On the Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists podcast.
- 2:00Speaker 2: This is right, this is crazy right, You're the first
- 2:02Speaker 2: guest ever to be invited back onto this podcast.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It's true. They couldn't keep me away.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I mean, how do you have a panel about villains
- 2:11Speaker 4: and bad guys without talking to the most rotten to
- 2:16Speaker 4: their core.
- 2:17Speaker 1: The mixer.
- 2:20Speaker 4: I played the mixer, but I also most recently played
- 2:25Speaker 4: the mixer's son.
- 2:27Speaker 6: It's bizarre because you got older and they brought you
- 2:30Speaker 6: back to play a younger role.
- 2:33Speaker 1: The Irishman effect. It's opened up so many doors, changing
- 2:37Speaker 1: a lot actors.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, really amazing.
- 2:41Speaker 7: And my name is Henry Hayworth and my role that
- 2:48Speaker 7: I'm well known for is playing no more Mister nice
- 2:53Speaker 7: Guy was my character's name in an upcoming DC film
- 3:00Speaker 7: Home that has yet to be announced.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Do you want to announce it?
- 3:04Speaker 4: Well, you're doing press and you they haven't even confirmed
- 3:08Speaker 4: the project.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Look you up.
- 3:10Speaker 5: It's really, really, really frustrating, to be honest, because I
- 3:15Speaker 5: they told me to come do this because they love
- 3:17Speaker 5: the hype.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I mean, I know you guys are working in DC
- 3:21Speaker 2: roles here and there. Well, just going off of no More,
- 3:24Speaker 2: mister nice guy, is that the actual released character name
- 3:28Speaker 2: or it is not. It is not. It is a
- 3:31Speaker 2: fake name for my character.
- 3:33Speaker 6: It's a dummy side, dummy side, but it's for your
- 3:37Speaker 6: character name.
- 3:38Speaker 5: It's no more, mister nice guy. It's a little easter egg.
- 3:40Speaker 5: For people who know a.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Lot about d C.
- 3:44Speaker 1: What is the project called?
- 3:45Speaker 2: Yeah, tell us the project? So currently the project is
- 3:49Speaker 2: called unknown d C project. Okay to talk about here today?
- 3:56Speaker 1: You go, what's the best way scenario?
- 3:59Speaker 4: You come here and you promote a project you can't
- 4:04Speaker 4: name and a character you can't tell us who you're playing.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Jared, this is crazy. Everything that you're pointing out is
- 4:11Speaker 5: what I pointed out to them myself, And they said,
- 4:16Speaker 5: just go.
- 4:16Speaker 2: We love the hype. And I said, what is hype
- 4:19Speaker 2: if I have nothing to talk about?
- 4:20Speaker 5: But I can talk about processes and I can talk
- 4:23Speaker 5: about the things, the experiences I've had.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I just can't use any specifics.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Great.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Great, I'm excited to get into it. I feel like
- 4:33Speaker 2: and I wanted to check in. You know when before
- 4:35Speaker 2: we I came on this panel, there was a couple
- 4:38Speaker 2: things I wanted to think about, and the main thing
- 4:42Speaker 2: was for me, it is so funny how evil people
- 4:46Speaker 2: think I am in real life.
- 4:48Speaker 8: Oh, that's funny.
- 4:50Speaker 1: That's a good question. Are you guys evil in real life?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Oh, that's a lovely question. That's funny, that's a lovely question.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Pikes ask me that a lot, and I don't know
- 5:00Speaker 1: the answer, to be honest.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Why the presumptuous question? Are you evil in real life?
- 5:05Speaker 1: That's a heavy thing.
- 5:06Speaker 2: That I get that a lot, and you will too.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Once they name your project or releasing, Oh.
- 5:12Speaker 4: What's they name your project and give you a character
- 5:15Speaker 4: name and release the movie, so many doors are gonna.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Open up for you. I'll tell you what.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Guys, When you guys see how evil I am in
- 5:22Speaker 5: this movie, you're gonna be surprised that you're meeting me,
- 5:25Speaker 5: mister nice guy here. I think it's gonna be a
- 5:28Speaker 5: real big surprise because it's just, trust me, rancid, nasty,
- 5:33Speaker 5: nasty stuff.
- 5:34Speaker 6: You could be anybody in the movie and I wouldn't know,
- 5:38Speaker 6: Like we don't know anything.
- 5:40Speaker 3: You're gonna be completely lying, No, you know it's me.
- 5:43Speaker 2: You're gonna know it's me. Trust me, Trust me.
- 5:46Speaker 5: I DC begged me to be here because the juxtaposition
- 5:50Speaker 5: of knowing me now and then seeing the movie, it's
- 5:53Speaker 5: gonna be it's gonna be insane.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Oh I'm not evil, I'm just old.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Okay, what did Dark Side of the Moon? When did
- 6:03Speaker 2: you play Dark Side of the Moon? Can you remind us?
- 6:05Speaker 1: Yes?
- 6:06Speaker 3: Well, I played Dark Side of the Moon this year.
- 6:08Speaker 6: Oh, yes, No, it's fine. But Dark Side of the
- 6:12Speaker 6: Moon was introduced to Catwoman's timeline about in the third
- 6:16Speaker 6: comic book. So we're finally introducing.
- 6:19Speaker 2: And Dark Side of the Moon. What was their power?
- 6:22Speaker 2: What was their whole villain?
- 6:23Speaker 1: Dark Side of.
- 6:24Speaker 6: The Moon uses the moon to fuck up everyone's hormones.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Oh, I remember it was a very feminist, pro feminist
- 6:33Speaker 2: pro hormone.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Yes, because she's a girl superhero and so she's constantly
- 6:40Speaker 4: susceptible to the powers.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Of the moon and her cycle.
- 6:43Speaker 6: Yes, well, when we have a female superhero, the villains
- 6:48Speaker 6: have to be an obstacle for.
- 6:50Speaker 2: The female's great point.
- 6:53Speaker 5: Jeron, I wanted to say, I've always seen you as
- 6:55Speaker 5: kind of an evil guy too, because I remember seeing
- 6:58Speaker 5: your rendition of Shylock at the Royal Shakespeare Coming.
- 7:02Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 7:03Speaker 2: What was that? How long ago was that?
- 7:05Speaker 1: Oh?
- 7:06Speaker 6: That was about I want to say, did Charlotte I
- 7:08Speaker 6: played Slick multiple times?
- 7:09Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 7:10Speaker 3: I played Shylock at the Organ Shakespeare Festival when I
- 7:13Speaker 3: was eighty two, so there was about ten years ago.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Wow, wow y.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Wow, like you know a legends here and then I
- 7:24Speaker 3: played Shylock recently last year at Griffith Park.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Yeah. And I saw the one at the Royal Shakespeare Company.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I saw that.
- 7:32Speaker 2: I saw the one at Griffith Park. Oh yeah, during
- 7:34Speaker 2: the pandemic. I thought it was beautiful.
- 7:35Speaker 6: I mix those up because it was very minimalism on
- 7:38Speaker 6: both ends, but thank you.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I appreciate it.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I wish I had seen the one at Griffith Park.
- 7:43Speaker 2: There was so much clues. It was wonderful.
- 7:45Speaker 8: Jape free, free free.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 7:48Speaker 5: If I knew in the future you would be a
- 7:50Speaker 5: Griffith Park, I probably wouldn't have flown until London to
- 7:52Speaker 5: see you in that.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Oh, but we appreciate the patronage.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Oh thanks, did.
- 7:56Speaker 1: You fly out to London just to see him?
- 8:00Speaker 2: Well, I was seeing all the shows. I saw Billy
- 8:03Speaker 2: Elliott at the time I saw Priscilla, Queen of the Desert,
- 8:06Speaker 2: one of the most famous villains. Yeah. Yeah, he brought
- 8:10Speaker 2: art to that cold town.
- 8:12Speaker 5: It was so heartbreaking to watch those ar coal miners
- 8:16Speaker 5: art be infiltrated by art.
- 8:18Speaker 1: What a villain, Oh, so evil?
- 8:21Speaker 6: It was a good Is that ladybird coming of age
- 8:26Speaker 6: of a villain?
- 8:27Speaker 2: Girl?
- 8:28Speaker 4: Yes, she's so selfish and she's so mean to her mother.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Oh what about that villain?
- 8:35Speaker 5: And little miss Sunshine, that little girl who doesn't follow
- 8:37Speaker 5: the rules of the pageant.
- 8:40Speaker 2: She's funky looking.
- 8:41Speaker 3: She's funky looking like a villain too.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I passed up that movie to evil. I said, you know,
- 8:47Speaker 2: I won't do this. I'm sorry. It's just it doesn't
- 8:51Speaker 2: end well. It doesn't end well.
- 8:53Speaker 5: You know, Jared, You, I mean, you probably get asked
- 8:57Speaker 5: if you're evil all the time, and you said that
- 8:59Speaker 5: do you feel like yes?
- 9:00Speaker 4: And I say, sometimes I am. When I'm method playing
- 9:05Speaker 4: the mixer. You see in the months leading up to
- 9:09Speaker 4: me playing the mixer or the mixer's son, I get
- 9:13Speaker 4: rather I get rather evil. I start walking through the
- 9:18Speaker 4: streets with a little maniacal smile, seeing just who I
- 9:22Speaker 4: could lightly trip on a sidewalk sometimes I wait until
- 9:27Speaker 4: my neighbors are asleep, and I move their garden homes
- 9:30Speaker 4: a little closer to their house each and every day,
- 9:33Speaker 4: just to make them think they're going slowly insane, just
- 9:37Speaker 4: like how messed up the Mixer is in the movie.
- 9:41Speaker 1: And it's not like I want to do it in
- 9:44Speaker 1: my real life.
- 9:45Speaker 4: I think I'm a very nice guy, but when I'm
- 9:48Speaker 4: the mixer, I get a little terrible.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Can you remind me what actually the mixer's powers are?
- 9:55Speaker 1: Oh h, don't even get me started. The mixer.
- 10:00Speaker 4: The mixer has the power to be messed up in
- 10:03Speaker 4: the head. The Mixer is a villain who exists in
- 10:08Speaker 4: his own mind, and he's so troubled and messed up
- 10:13Speaker 4: that everyone he comes in contact to feels the wrath
- 10:16Speaker 4: of a guy who's not doing well. It's just mood, yes,
- 10:21Speaker 4: so he's mentally ill. That's his power.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 10:27Speaker 5: And I think this is so interesting because I feel
- 10:29Speaker 5: like we have four different types of villains here. You know,
- 10:33Speaker 5: Dark Side of the Moon is that kind of villain
- 10:35Speaker 5: that comes in for the one movie. You know, Bonaparte
- 10:39Speaker 5: is the big battie that kind of comes around, and
- 10:41Speaker 5: then Yours is the villain that you've got so many
- 10:45Speaker 5: solo movies about yourself, Yes, and mine is.
- 10:47Speaker 2: One completely different? And before you can you tell us
- 10:51Speaker 2: which I cannot?
- 10:52Speaker 1: Can you give a vague category?
- 10:55Speaker 2: Let's well no, well, how.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Can you answer this? Do you wear a cape or not?
- 11:02Speaker 2: Let's just say the first outfit you see me in
- 11:05Speaker 2: won't be the last. I don't know what you're doing here?
- 11:08Speaker 1: Now? How does this help of the movie?
- 11:12Speaker 2: You change at one point? Yeah?
- 11:15Speaker 5: Yeah, the thing you think I am in the beginning,
- 11:19Speaker 5: you better not be thinking that the whole time?
- 11:21Speaker 1: Have you shot all this? Is this all been shot?
- 11:24Speaker 5: It's all shot it? We just locked a picture. I'm
- 11:28Speaker 5: going in for eighty r tomorrow.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Usually they released the name of a movie and the
- 11:33Speaker 2: villain by.
- 11:33Speaker 1: That, they're probably nine hundred dollars in.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Well, yeah, well they're there.
- 11:38Speaker 5: They just want to make sure that it is good.
- 11:43Speaker 6: No, did I could ever since I said Tom Mardy debacle?
- 11:47Speaker 3: Is that hate the mood? Did this the spoiler?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Yeah? Someone release Tom Holland, Tom Holland.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Release a spoiler. The security protocols for these movies.
- 11:57Speaker 6: They are my wife, to get my babysitter, my baby.
- 12:07Speaker 3: And my babysitter. I had to fill out an NDA.
- 12:10Speaker 6: Wow, did you guys have to do rigorous security training
- 12:14Speaker 6: to hide what the plots were for the movies?
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, the hardest thing for me was all the
- 12:21Speaker 2: tricks and stunts.
- 12:22Speaker 7: You know.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Hiding things from the press is kind of my natural thing,
- 12:27Speaker 2: you know, like the press, I stay away, and honestly,
- 12:32Speaker 2: more of them staying away from me. You know, I
- 12:34Speaker 2: think nobody's really coming by my house to take photos.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I saw that one photo they they caught you being
- 12:42Speaker 2: a popuarazzi. M hmmm, I just love taking photos.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Yes, you took that picture of Elfhani.
- 12:50Speaker 2: She is a gift. Have you guys seen her in
- 12:53Speaker 2: any of her work?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a talent. I can see why you would
- 12:59Speaker 1: like to take a picture of her.
- 13:01Speaker 2: So I caught Elf Fanning walking out of Craigs walking
- 13:05Speaker 2: out of Craigs the other day in Beverly Hills, Beverly
- 13:09Speaker 2: Hills with their boyfriend, and I just had to take ato.
- 13:13Speaker 4: And so are you pitching yourself as a sort of
- 13:16Speaker 4: paparazzo like to Harvey Levin and the like.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It's more of a thing. That's the only time they
- 13:21Speaker 2: approached me. I had to take the photos, and I go, look,
- 13:25Speaker 2: I've got all these lovely photos just showing friends, and
- 13:28Speaker 2: they say, I'll.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Buy this is one of your friends a paparazzo.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Yes, I know a couple paparazzi members.
- 13:35Speaker 4: And how I bet they pay a pretty penny for
- 13:38Speaker 4: something like else.
- 13:39Speaker 3: I'm Helanning picture was gorgeous.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Oh thank you, it was great. They don't pay too
- 13:44Speaker 2: much because Elf Fanning is a hot come out. An
- 13:49Speaker 2: don't get any ideas Jared photos. I feel like I
- 13:51Speaker 2: could see Jared trying to be a paparazzo, to get
- 13:54Speaker 2: in character, to be evil.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Listen, Oh God, that cat's out of their bag?
- 14:00Speaker 2: What cat?
- 14:01Speaker 3: What's happening?
- 14:03Speaker 2: A cat?
- 14:03Speaker 1: I let into the studio. It's gone.
- 14:06Speaker 2: When you brought a cat in.
- 14:08Speaker 4: I brought a cat in because cats are evil, and
- 14:11Speaker 4: I watched them to see what they do, because they're
- 14:13Speaker 4: always ploting.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I'll find them. He'll turn up.
- 14:15Speaker 2: But I guess back to the original thing. The tricks
- 14:18Speaker 2: of my movie were very hard. Batman v. Bonaparte was
- 14:23Speaker 2: very very tricky to get into. I mean, we are
- 14:26Speaker 2: on wires in front of blue screens hanging over water,
- 14:30Speaker 2: and I'm supposed to deliver the lines, and you know
- 14:33Speaker 2: it's just tough.
- 14:34Speaker 1: And you were in full eighteenth century sort of French.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Revolutionary eighteenth century French revolution war outfit with cyborg arms
- 14:46Speaker 2: and legs and limbs attached to it. And instead of
- 14:49Speaker 2: an arm, you have a knife instead of one arm,
- 14:53Speaker 2: it's a knife?
- 14:54Speaker 3: Is it a real shop knife?
- 14:56Speaker 2: Oh? I cut myself all the time. You have no idea?
- 14:59Speaker 1: And this is did they have to do.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Any sort of tricks of the camera to make you
- 15:04Speaker 4: as short as the real Napoleon Bonaparte?
- 15:07Speaker 2: They had to do a lot of camera tricks. Really.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I would stand next to Batman, who in our universe
- 15:14Speaker 2: was played by Matt mcgory, right, Matt mcgory.
- 15:19Speaker 1: From Criminal Minds, No, from How.
- 15:22Speaker 2: To get Away with Murder, It Show, Most Woke Social Media.
- 15:29Speaker 2: He was a wonderful Batman. Anyway, they put me about
- 15:35Speaker 2: twenty feet back from him, and I had to pretend
- 15:38Speaker 2: like I was talking to him in profile. They did
- 15:41Speaker 2: the same tricks in the Lord of the Rings movies.
- 15:45Speaker 8: Mm hmm.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Well, speaking of changing your body, what was it like
- 15:49Speaker 3: to not play the mixer but go into the mixer's
- 15:53Speaker 3: sun and.
- 15:56Speaker 4: To know this yeah, well, you know, I will be honest.
- 16:00Speaker 4: People say that way, or when you do a Soupa
- 16:02Speaker 4: Heero movie.
- 16:02Speaker 1: You have to train and you have to go to
- 16:04Speaker 1: the GM and you have to you have to do
- 16:06Speaker 1: all this stuff to make you Friday strong. I bet
- 16:09Speaker 1: you did strong.
- 16:12Speaker 2: At one point I gained seventy five pounds of muscle.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Okay, so this feels like a very starring role. This
- 16:19Speaker 1: feels like something that will be recurring. I'm gonna get
- 16:25Speaker 1: it out of you at some point.
- 16:26Speaker 6: It sucks because I don't want to interfere with your contract,
- 16:30Speaker 6: but I do want to know something.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I mean, like it would help you as well.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Well, let's just say in the beginning he's a nice
- 16:37Speaker 2: guy and it doesn't stay that way.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Oh god, you run in talents every.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Vanie Win mixer son, Come on an get it out
- 16:51Speaker 2: of you.
- 16:52Speaker 4: But I didn't go to the gym once I reached
- 16:55Speaker 4: a certain level for the mix of the mixer son.
- 16:58Speaker 4: For the mixer son, I didn't go to the gym.
- 17:02Speaker 4: I said, listen, I don't want to lift anything. I
- 17:05Speaker 4: don't want to touch anything because all the mental eye
- 17:07Speaker 4: the time, I'll be at the mental gym all day,
- 17:11Speaker 4: just work and stuff out up there, and so it's
- 17:14Speaker 4: all cgi that eight pack you see on the mixer son,
- 17:18Speaker 4: believe it or not, that's not really there.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I believe it. I've got a question, what is it? Like?
- 17:24Speaker 5: What?
- 17:25Speaker 2: Okay, what's the difference for your mentalist? What in you'd
- 17:31Speaker 2: play the mixer and then you play the mixer son.
- 17:35Speaker 2: For you, what's the difference between the characters?
- 17:39Speaker 3: Is the mixers son just you know, like just.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Kinder other than the eight pack which he mentioned, yea,
- 17:47Speaker 2: other than him being chiseled and ripped.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, So then the Mixer's son. He's evil and he's.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Messed up, but in a slightly different way because he's
- 17:58Speaker 4: inherited all of the messed up traits of the mixer.
- 18:01Speaker 4: But nobody notices what he's going through because he is
- 18:05Speaker 4: a hot alpha male and so he goes to all
- 18:09Speaker 4: the beach parties and all of his job as a
- 18:12Speaker 4: TV show host, and everyone thinks he's doing well, but.
- 18:16Speaker 1: He's just high functioning.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Does he talk like a normal man or like you
- 18:21Speaker 3: the mixer?
- 18:22Speaker 2: No, he talks like the mixer, So it seems like
- 18:26Speaker 2: a dead giveaway. He always shows with a voice like that.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Yes, he says welcome back to Access Hollywood.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Oh he's a Hollywood reporter. Where a quick question, where
- 18:40Speaker 2: are we in the Mixer movies? What is the plot
- 18:43Speaker 2: of this Mixer's Sun movie? Just a highlight of what's
- 18:46Speaker 2: going on it like a beach movie.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Yes, well, so the mixer has appeared in many of
- 18:52Speaker 4: the squirrel Man movies.
- 18:55Speaker 1: That's where he was. He originated from.
- 18:58Speaker 4: The Mixer got his solo movie, which, as we all know,
- 19:01Speaker 4: is a very messed up film. And then The Mixer's
- 19:04Speaker 4: Sun is the second standalone solo Mixer franchise, and it's
- 19:10Speaker 4: about a high functioning, hot and chiseled Access Hollywood host.
- 19:17Speaker 3: High functioning.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Why do you keep saying high functioning?
- 19:21Speaker 3: The Access Hollywood people are really he's functioning.
- 19:25Speaker 1: No, he's functioning really high.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Oh, put a deep down.
- 19:31Speaker 1: He's not doing so hot. And at night he gives
- 19:35Speaker 1: into those messed up thoughts and he.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Starts to do graffiti all over the walls, and he
- 19:40Speaker 4: starts to follow a lady Holme who runs the sound
- 19:45Speaker 4: on Access Hollywood and see what she's up to.
- 19:48Speaker 1: And at first Death starts out innocent. He gives her
- 19:51Speaker 1: love letters and she says.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Yes, let's go out because you're a hot man, but
- 19:56Speaker 4: deep down the rejection of what he thinks she would
- 19:59Speaker 4: do is enough to drive him slowly.
- 20:02Speaker 2: It's incredible, that's amazing. That's incredible. Dark Side of the Moon, Yes,
- 20:08Speaker 2: what's that? What's what it's like getting in your character?
- 20:11Speaker 2: I mean, are you playing a moon? Are you playing
- 20:14Speaker 2: a person? Are you playing the moon?
- 20:16Speaker 1: The shade?
- 20:16Speaker 2: Are you playing?
- 20:17Speaker 1: I asked, the shade of the dark Side?
- 20:21Speaker 6: So it looks When I first saw the character mark ups,
- 20:26Speaker 6: I said, that looks like a children's play with one
- 20:29Speaker 6: big moon crest, right, and then they told.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Me that it was just the Oh, so I'm never
- 20:38Speaker 3: really on set? Are you just going there?
- 20:40Speaker 2: And are you doing motion capture? Because I know a
- 20:43Speaker 2: lot of No, I'm.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Not using my body, no, no, no, FK twigs place
- 20:49Speaker 3: my body.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I love that is one of my favorite people to photograph.
- 20:58Speaker 6: Wherever I Can's the dancer and they get into dance
- 21:04Speaker 6: for days.
- 21:05Speaker 1: I like the hair.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Of her photographs. Wow, but your.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Veo so incredible. It unlocked something rather a carnal and
- 21:18Speaker 1: then human.
- 21:20Speaker 2: People talk about your veo how dark and brooding and scary.
- 21:24Speaker 7: It was.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Well, me and the team we tried to hit the
- 21:26Speaker 3: lowest note possible.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Hit it.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Oh, it took a while, but I could try. It
- 21:33Speaker 3: took a lot of vocals.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Well, maybe we could see it in this. Can we
- 21:36Speaker 2: see a clip of it?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Roll the footage?
- 21:40Speaker 3: This is a scene between me and Catwoman.
- 21:44Speaker 2: So Catwoman is talking to the moon at this point, yes.
- 21:47Speaker 1: And she's hanging on a piece of of of what
- 21:53Speaker 1: do you call?
- 21:57Speaker 2: Where are you? Where are you?
- 21:59Speaker 7: You?
- 22:00Speaker 1: Evel being? Oh no, oh.
- 22:18Speaker 3: See I I vomited in the VEO booth.
- 22:22Speaker 1: When I did that, she went too low mine.
- 22:26Speaker 6: I took my mouth and I pushed it so odd
- 22:30Speaker 6: up against the mic that I got a regurgitation effect.
- 22:34Speaker 2: And I'm hearing that's what happened in the theater too.
- 22:37Speaker 5: I read a lot of reviews because I was so
- 22:40Speaker 5: excited to see Catwoman.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Uh the who played your Catwoman? I keep forgetting Reese right,
- 22:51Speaker 2: and I shouldn't forget because she was lovely and that's
- 22:54Speaker 2: great and FK Twigs and me, well Reese is involved
- 22:58Speaker 2: in it's you know, it's it's so great. And read
- 23:02Speaker 2: the FKA and Gerard Penut. It was such what a
- 23:06Speaker 2: triple billing.
- 23:08Speaker 5: But when I saw that, and I'm just obsessed with
- 23:11Speaker 5: superhero movies, obviously working one, and when I saw what
- 23:16Speaker 5: was going on with you, I read everything and everyone
- 23:19Speaker 5: was saying it was the most visceral reaction because the
- 23:22Speaker 5: whole thing just kind.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Of felt like you're in on a boat, like the vibe.
- 23:27Speaker 2: It was so queasy and shit. To make a villain
- 23:30Speaker 2: a giant moon is always an interesting choice because that's
- 23:33Speaker 2: something thousands of miles away.
- 23:36Speaker 5: I mean, right, the moon turns and there's this creature
- 23:40Speaker 5: on the back of the moon, but behind the creature
- 23:44Speaker 5: is the whole bright lit moon.
- 23:47Speaker 1: And it's it.
- 23:49Speaker 6: We wanted to represent nature, and I think that's interesting
- 23:51Speaker 6: about these villains, is like representing maybe the history of
- 23:54Speaker 6: the humans, or maybe the medical issues of the humans.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Or the nature us of our earth?
- 24:02Speaker 3: Right, and what are we pulling from yours?
- 24:04Speaker 2: Well, for me, I don't want to spoil anything.
- 24:09Speaker 3: You can say what the general tone.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Character?
- 24:14Speaker 2: So, so my character is a comment on the badness
- 24:20Speaker 2: of a person, yes, okay, okay, morals, Yes, so he's
- 24:25Speaker 2: a nice guy, and then it's commenting on people who
- 24:29Speaker 2: are nice guys and then are no more mister nice.
- 24:33Speaker 4: Which of the seven deadly sins would you say your villains.
- 24:37Speaker 5: Well, that would be unfair because my villain probably doesn't
- 24:42Speaker 5: believe God, probably isn't religious.
- 24:46Speaker 1: We're getting something, We're getting cross.
- 24:52Speaker 4: Nugget, atheist character, one personality right locked in.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Let's see we can get them all.
- 25:01Speaker 6: Oh good, Okay, can we all talk about just uh
- 25:05Speaker 6: working with our directors. I mean these these movies, the
- 25:09Speaker 6: directors they I have for these movies are big.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Big image people.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Yeah, big image people, big imag image people.
- 25:18Speaker 6: That's what we said in London when I worked on
- 25:20Speaker 6: all the Shakespeare big image.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Mmm.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Yes, Well, Tarantino and I had a wonderful, wonderful release.
- 25:28Speaker 2: He did all the mixer movies.
- 25:29Speaker 1: He did all the mixer movies. Now talking about messed
- 25:31Speaker 1: up guys, that's a mix messed up you do.
- 25:34Speaker 3: I like the Olsen Twins.
- 25:36Speaker 1: You're just oh, we likes you.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Guys look almost identical, and we both have.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Fashion lines coming out soon.
- 25:44Speaker 2: It's so crazy, you know. He has famously said he's
- 25:47Speaker 2: only gonna make ten movies and he's done. And I
- 25:49Speaker 2: can't believe his last one was the mixer's son.
- 25:53Speaker 1: It's true. I was surprised as well.
- 25:57Speaker 4: But I went to his house and he slipped a
- 25:59Speaker 4: little piece some paper or where he wrote on it
- 26:02Speaker 4: how much he was being paid, And I nearly fell
- 26:04Speaker 4: out of my chair.
- 26:05Speaker 1: So I understand. I understand where he's coming from.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Oh is he is? He kind of like very strict
- 26:13Speaker 2: about the script on set, you get to improvise. What's
- 26:15Speaker 2: the deal.
- 26:16Speaker 4: Well, he sort of lets me go off on monologues
- 26:20Speaker 4: because he knows I'm met it. He knows I'm in character.
- 26:23Speaker 4: He knows that you'll say no, just keep rolling.
- 26:25Speaker 1: He's got it. He's going somewhere with this.
- 26:28Speaker 4: But to everyone else, he is so cruel if they
- 26:31Speaker 4: mess up a word, he is so mean.
- 26:34Speaker 1: And awful, and you'll have to keep it that way.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Because it's not called the cashier who helps the mixer's
- 26:41Speaker 4: son by grapes.
- 26:42Speaker 1: That's not what the movie is called. The movie is
- 26:44Speaker 1: called The Mixer Son.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Yes.
- 26:46Speaker 6: Did you have to do any time researching at Actors
- 26:50Speaker 6: Axis not actors.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Oh, Access Hollywood? Yes?
- 26:54Speaker 4: Yes, Oh I watched hours hours of Access Hollywood.
- 26:59Speaker 1: That Mariolo. He is good at what he does.
- 27:02Speaker 2: I love photoing him too. He is great because he's
- 27:05Speaker 2: got photoing him. Hm, that's what we call it in
- 27:08Speaker 2: the paparazzi game. The other people call it that too.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Photo.
- 27:15Speaker 2: There's something behind that man's eyes. Well, there's something behind
- 27:19Speaker 2: that man's eyes. You can tell there's a messed up
- 27:22Speaker 2: something there.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Speaking of something behind the eyes. The color contacts they
- 27:26Speaker 4: gave you with Napoleon.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Yes, yes, thank you, the bright blue context.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Really go after the hair and makeup department.
- 27:36Speaker 2: But I don't really thank you.
- 27:40Speaker 1: He was the Honda blue.
- 27:42Speaker 2: It was Honda blue like the car, and it was
- 27:45Speaker 2: like a partnership, like a deal. Yes, so if you
- 27:48Speaker 2: look a big promo thing was Honda. They would I
- 27:52Speaker 2: would get in the Honda and I would go, my
- 27:54Speaker 2: eyes are this color?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:57Speaker 2: I drive away. I saw that ad in a taxi.
- 28:02Speaker 2: That's great.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Did you film in New York?
- 28:06Speaker 2: I live in New York? Yeah? Yeah, okay, how long
- 28:10Speaker 2: I live in New York my whole life?
- 28:12Speaker 3: Now, you could do a movie, right, you could say
- 28:14Speaker 3: who direct.
- 28:15Speaker 5: I can't see who directed my movie? I am so
- 28:18Speaker 5: excited to tell you guys, who directed my movie? Oh,
- 28:22Speaker 5: Josh Whede No, why? Okay, there we go, Boss Whedon,
- 28:27Speaker 5: the incredible Joss Whedon directed a movie that is TVD potentially.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Twenty twenty five. I can't wait for you guys to
- 28:35Speaker 2: see it.
- 28:35Speaker 4: I'm honestly surprised we got a firsten last name out
- 28:38Speaker 4: of you in any capacity.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Well, they're saying there's there. That's actually the one thing
- 28:43Speaker 2: the said please don't tell anyone, and I I'm so tired.
- 28:47Speaker 2: I'sening up.
- 28:50Speaker 5: So I want to tell you guys the one thing
- 28:52Speaker 5: that I'm never supposed to tell anyone. Joss Whedon is
- 28:55Speaker 5: mostly involved in this movie. Baby, he's so excited about it.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, I mean that's I'm a little worried
- 29:03Speaker 4: for you bad that's not coming out.
- 29:05Speaker 1: You've been really.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Asked for these things. I just what do you mean
- 29:10Speaker 3: You're gonna be pulled from the film or something.
- 29:12Speaker 2: What do you mean they tell us to only take
- 29:15Speaker 2: pictures of Josh Whedon if he looks terrible?
- 29:18Speaker 3: What these companies?
- 29:22Speaker 2: Oh gosh, I don't. I don't. I just don't. I
- 29:25Speaker 2: don't like to read things about people because I like
- 29:28Speaker 2: them to tell me. I love reading on set.
- 29:30Speaker 7: You do?
- 29:32Speaker 1: What are you reading these? Wow?
- 29:36Speaker 2: When I'm on set, I love a good book. When
- 29:38Speaker 2: I was feeling filming Bonaparte, I would read Napoleon Bonapart's
- 29:42Speaker 2: biographies and biographies on biographies, they're really interesting.
- 29:49Speaker 1: So what's your favorite fun fact about Napoleon bonap.
- 29:52Speaker 2: One of my favorite fun facts. He had a little
- 29:55Speaker 2: bit of a feces finish.
- 29:57Speaker 1: What Oh?
- 29:59Speaker 2: He was mayor to his first wife, had his child,
- 30:02Speaker 2: then went right to back to France, left his child
- 30:07Speaker 2: and wife on the island that he was subjugated to,
- 30:11Speaker 2: took over France again, was sent all the way to
- 30:15Speaker 2: a small island in Africa, and at one point it
- 30:21Speaker 2: was discovered man was into poop.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Can you work that into your character?
- 30:26Speaker 8: Oh?
- 30:26Speaker 2: Ah, of course. If you guys want to see a scene,
- 30:32Speaker 2: I would love to see it. So this is a
- 30:37Speaker 2: scene of me and Batman's one of our last combinations confrontations,
- 30:45Speaker 2: one of our last confrontations, not combinations.
- 30:48Speaker 1: You're not dancing?
- 30:50Speaker 2: Well we might a little bit. If you guys seen
- 30:53Speaker 2: the movie Here we Go. We are so me and Batman.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Batman is is last limb, and I have taken over
- 31:02Speaker 2: most of America with my troops. At this point, my
- 31:05Speaker 2: cyborg troops and Batman's got one chance to stop me.
- 31:11Speaker 2: You want to dance Bonaparte? Oh Batman, you thought this
- 31:19Speaker 2: was gonna be easy?
- 31:20Speaker 3: For you, but it's not Sia Zia your poop.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Thank you. You wanna dance, buddy?
- 31:29Speaker 4: No?
- 31:29Speaker 2: No, why don't we dance in the Oh? Yeah, I'm
- 31:36Speaker 2: gonna kill you. You're gonna kill me. I'm already dead. Cyborgs,
- 31:45Speaker 2: French cyborgs attack.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Can someone fix the women's restroom? It's so fucked up in.
- 31:50Speaker 3: There, side bulked with French chao.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I love that.
- 31:58Speaker 8: Thank you is so grounded.
- 32:01Speaker 2: It's just so classic Batman and a lot of that
- 32:06Speaker 2: it's a classic Batman movie. A lot of that you
- 32:09Speaker 2: have to understand is without the context of the movie,
- 32:11Speaker 2: you're not getting why some of those soldiers are French
- 32:14Speaker 2: and Italian and it's a really I remember seeing this movie.
- 32:17Speaker 2: There's such an extensive.
- 32:20Speaker 5: Side kind of b plot about that women's bathroom, and
- 32:24Speaker 5: so that makes total sense that.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Payoff at the end when it's finally fixed and then
- 32:29Speaker 2: Batman runs his batmobile through it. It's a It's a Dunkirk.
- 32:35Speaker 2: It's a classic, you know, in Dunkirk, when they fix
- 32:38Speaker 2: that bathroom and then a tank runs right through it.
- 32:41Speaker 1: To the end of the film, they.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Save all those British soldiers and then somebody goes ohy,
- 32:49Speaker 2: that bathroom is finally fixed and then a tank rolls
- 32:53Speaker 2: right through it.
- 32:53Speaker 4: It is so. I laughed so hard at the post
- 32:56Speaker 4: credits scene in your movie where the poor bathroom room
- 33:00Speaker 4: attended goes back in and she says, I'm all good now,
- 33:04Speaker 4: and then an explosion.
- 33:06Speaker 2: It was very fun.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Rose o' donald quick, yes, she's back.
- 33:15Speaker 2: From that about my movie too, spoilers is.
- 33:21Speaker 4: In it that she would be like that could actually
- 33:23Speaker 4: destroy the movie, so I would be careful with that.
- 33:27Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, it's fine, it's fine. It's
- 33:30Speaker 2: just a post credit sequence.
- 33:31Speaker 4: Sweet, and I had Rose o'donald, Wait, no, I'm rosead
- 33:36Speaker 4: bar No, you're fine, you're fine, You're fine, Like.
- 33:39Speaker 3: She's only slightly canceled for just being annoying.
- 33:42Speaker 5: Rosie's not canceled. And she's a blast. She had me
- 33:45Speaker 5: over her roast beef dinners every.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Night, every night. That can't be good for cholesteroler anything.
- 33:52Speaker 2: I loved it. We talked so much. She's so sweet
- 33:54Speaker 2: and so much fun talk about.
- 33:57Speaker 5: We talked a lot about her show and the coup
- 34:00Speaker 5: because she still gets sent couchhballs every day. She gets
- 34:04Speaker 5: boxes and boxes. They never stopped and it's sitting in
- 34:08Speaker 5: her house. Is really it feels a little hoardy to
- 34:10Speaker 5: be honest, because there's a lot of coushballs.
- 34:12Speaker 2: But it was so fun to hang out with her.
- 34:15Speaker 1: And don't worry.
- 34:16Speaker 2: It was all different kinds of roast beef. It wasn't
- 34:18Speaker 2: just the same kind.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Oh, I was worried about your getting bored.
- 34:22Speaker 5: I'm different, just different types of cuts and different sauces
- 34:26Speaker 5: you can put on it, and different sides.
- 34:28Speaker 3: I bet that h well, different breads.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Different bad roast beef. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 34:35Speaker 3: A meat can be decorated.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Yes, yes, so don't worry, Rosie. It's not a big part,
- 34:41Speaker 2: so it's not a spoiler.
- 34:43Speaker 1: That's good. I requested for the group. Yes, where is
- 34:48Speaker 1: there a problem? Okay? It was just a friend, yes, okay.
- 34:55Speaker 1: With My question is do you think it's harder to
- 34:58Speaker 1: play a villain or a good guy?
- 35:03Speaker 2: For me, it's always easier to play a villain because
- 35:06Speaker 2: you can really lose yourself and let go. For a
- 35:09Speaker 2: good guy, you want to find some sort of flaw.
- 35:13Speaker 2: But with a villain, all you have to do is
- 35:16Speaker 2: find a little bit of soft spot. What did you
- 35:18Speaker 2: find for Bonaparte? The soft spot for Bonaparte. Yeah, his
- 35:22Speaker 2: love for baking. Oh, he was trying to take over
- 35:27Speaker 2: America to bring French baking back. The man just wanted
- 35:33Speaker 2: to save American bakeries.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not too evil of an agenda.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Not actually, but a man who's craving for power, all
- 35:43Speaker 2: he wants in life is the unification of the world.
- 35:46Speaker 2: And Napoleon actually as a person was one of the
- 35:50Speaker 2: most liberal, forward, progressive people that France had ever seen.
- 35:55Speaker 2: He brought public bathrooms to France.
- 35:58Speaker 8: And now we know why.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Now we know why.
- 36:01Speaker 3: There's the josephfication.
- 36:04Speaker 2: That is what don't we call the biz a classic justification? Gerard?
- 36:10Speaker 2: What's the soft spot for dark side of the Moon?
- 36:12Speaker 4: Is it?
- 36:13Speaker 2: Gerard?
- 36:15Speaker 3: It depends in London. It's Gerard in America. Day you
- 36:20Speaker 3: saw me in London, but you saw me in London.
- 36:23Speaker 1: We've got an anglifier.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Yes, it's fine.
- 36:26Speaker 7: I know.
- 36:27Speaker 3: No, my baby city caused me, Gerard, and my wife
- 36:29Speaker 3: caused me.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah. What's the soft spot of your character? Do
- 36:34Speaker 1: you find any an ounce of humanity?
- 36:36Speaker 2: Is there a little bit of light in the dark
- 36:38Speaker 2: side of the moon?
- 36:42Speaker 6: Speaking of well, I'll say the dark side of the
- 36:45Speaker 6: Moon is so old, so so old. He sounds it's
- 36:51Speaker 6: so so old. And I won't give away spoilers, but
- 36:55Speaker 6: he has problems with his aorta right, the heart, that's
- 37:00Speaker 6: the organizing and the Moon has a heart right and yes,
- 37:06Speaker 6: and we see in the film, and I will love
- 37:11Speaker 6: to announce we're bringing him back. They're doing an origin
- 37:14Speaker 6: story of the Dark Side of the Moon. Wow, and
- 37:19Speaker 6: they think it'll do better than Catwoman, so we'll see.
- 37:23Speaker 1: That's very exciting.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Yes, that's great. That's that's gate Twigs.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Weaded off to the Bahamas to start shooting next month.
- 37:32Speaker 2: I'll be there taking photos for sure. Thanks for letting
- 37:35Speaker 2: me know.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Oh no, you just tipped off the Papa rodso he's
- 37:40Speaker 1: gonna tell all his slimy.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Boys are the Bahamas. Oh, he has a crew, play
- 37:48Speaker 2: poker and trade photos.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I thought it was just the.
- 37:51Speaker 3: El Fanning pictures, but this is getting bigger and bigger.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Well, I loved a photograph a pretty woman. Can you
- 37:58Speaker 2: be honest? Have you taken photos of us?
- 38:01Speaker 7: Hm?
- 38:03Speaker 2: Let me check.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Oh no, that's a.
- 38:06Speaker 3: Huge, huge fold, huge folder on his phone.
- 38:10Speaker 1: No, oh, you have the rolodex app I see it's spinning.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Oh.
- 38:16Speaker 3: It looks old fashionate.
- 38:19Speaker 2: I like when they do. That's the analogue kind of thing.
- 38:22Speaker 1: I like it that brings a little bit of charm
- 38:25Speaker 1: or something rather.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Not familiar. Only women under twenty six.
- 38:34Speaker 1: A surprise.
- 38:35Speaker 2: I guess I should have known that before.
- 38:39Speaker 3: A picture of Marilyn Monroe.
- 38:40Speaker 2: In that Yes, Marilyn Monroe, I I didn't take that one.
- 38:45Speaker 2: I just really like it.
- 38:46Speaker 1: You use it as like a model to take.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I think this is the perfect paparazzi photo. If you
- 38:53Speaker 2: look at it, it captures her happy, sad, distressed, a mess.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Well that's her standing over the sewer, grade the dress.
- 39:02Speaker 2: That's the very stage photo. It's a great paparazzi Photozzi.
- 39:08Speaker 2: They caught her right as she was stepping off the upblaze.
- 39:11Speaker 1: No, no, they didn't need staged.
- 39:14Speaker 2: I don't think so. And this is what I try
- 39:16Speaker 2: to get all my girls to look like.
- 39:19Speaker 3: It is a muttet.
- 39:20Speaker 2: I love to get a twenty six year old in
- 39:22Speaker 2: under upskirt photo.
- 39:25Speaker 3: A fashion photographer styled her.
- 39:27Speaker 1: In that picture.
- 39:31Speaker 2: I'm always trying to get that skirt flying up.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Oh man, Jared, how do you do that?
- 39:40Speaker 2: Jared?
- 39:40Speaker 5: I gotta know we're talking about the secret sweet spot
- 39:43Speaker 5: of every villain.
- 39:45Speaker 2: You know, I gotta know about the mixture. Wanted to
- 39:47Speaker 2: know this a long time. Such a rotten guy. And
- 39:50Speaker 2: you can talk about his son too, if they're different.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Well, start with a mixture, because that's who I know
- 39:56Speaker 1: the most.
- 39:59Speaker 2: I not as for familiar with the mixer's son.
- 40:01Speaker 1: I have been with him for a shorter amount of time.
- 40:05Speaker 2: You still haven't figured out that.
- 40:08Speaker 4: Well, the sub spot for the mixers that he loves karaoke.
- 40:12Speaker 4: Oh and then there was one time when one pretty
- 40:16Speaker 4: girl smiled at him as he was doing karaoke, and
- 40:20Speaker 4: it made him want to donate to closing karaoke bars.
- 40:25Speaker 4: There were struggling small businesses, and so he did that.
- 40:29Speaker 4: And that's the core I've Ultimately, he's a guy who
- 40:32Speaker 4: wants to sing but can't because he's, of course so
- 40:35Speaker 4: messed up in the head. But the mixer's son, I'm
- 40:39Speaker 4: having trouble placing what's good about him because he's sort
- 40:43Speaker 4: of just a run to his core entertainment reporter.
- 40:47Speaker 2: He is handsome, he is very.
- 40:50Speaker 4: I guess if I had to say deep down, what
- 40:53Speaker 4: makes me think he's a good guy is that he
- 40:57Speaker 4: you know, he keeps a clean shaven face. It's the
- 41:00Speaker 4: sign of a trustworthy sort of guy who is just
- 41:05Speaker 4: a just a guy and ultimately at his heart he
- 41:08Speaker 4: wants to do good.
- 41:09Speaker 1: He got messed up along the way.
- 41:11Speaker 6: I realized when we were talking about our soft spots
- 41:15Speaker 6: and you asked me that, and we're going through.
- 41:17Speaker 3: I thought it was medically. What was wrong with the body?
- 41:20Speaker 1: You did say weakness?
- 41:22Speaker 2: You said the way I did. We should have known.
- 41:25Speaker 6: When someone of my age is weakness, I tell you
- 41:28Speaker 6: what part of the body is through?
- 41:31Speaker 1: That makes sense?
- 41:32Speaker 6: Oh, the Dark side of the Moon loves the world
- 41:36Speaker 6: and loves the is that why he wants to destroy it?
- 41:41Speaker 6: But he wants to destroy the people inhabiting it because
- 41:44Speaker 6: the people inhabiting it are ruining the earth.
- 41:48Speaker 2: And that's specifically the women.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Oh okay, I thought for a part was okay, never mind, okay, a.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Very feminist movie. Oh well, I could say a little
- 42:00Speaker 2: bit about the soft spot of my character. Giay, already,
- 42:06Speaker 2: what have I give it away? You're right, I've given
- 42:11Speaker 2: it all away. You basically know the whole movie.
- 42:17Speaker 5: There's a there's a cameo by Rosi o'donald and we
- 42:20Speaker 5: we shot in a place where they make a lot
- 42:21Speaker 5: of roast beef.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Yes, there's a lot. There's a lot given away. There's
- 42:25Speaker 2: a lot given away.
- 42:26Speaker 1: But near coalinga off the five, that's where you shot it.
- 42:31Speaker 2: My baby's.
- 42:35Speaker 1: That's where the roast beef comes from. It's get all
- 42:39Speaker 1: those cows. I mean when you drive by that thing.
- 42:41Speaker 4: I start counting when they see the cows, and I
- 42:44Speaker 4: stop counting when I stop seeing the.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Cows, and sometimes I count to like what six? Seven?
- 42:49Speaker 2: They don't know what you're saving your mouse?
- 42:52Speaker 3: You measure time by counting anyway.
- 43:00Speaker 5: Okay, listen, No, here's the thing. What I'll say about
- 43:03Speaker 5: my character is that he just wants to be loved.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Okay by who? Well, that remains to be seen. Oh.
- 43:17Speaker 4: When they don't comment on the sexuality, it usually means
- 43:20Speaker 4: not straight. That's what I learned from being a hoccess
- 43:25Speaker 4: Hollywood reporter.
- 43:27Speaker 2: If they don't comment, no, it's your character lgbt Q.
- 43:35Speaker 2: I can't say. But what I can say is that
- 43:38Speaker 2: it will make history too bad.
- 43:43Speaker 6: All of the DZ movies have so much similar roles
- 43:46Speaker 6: in characters, because you could be making hisstory by playing anybody.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Here's what I'll say love is love. I will say
- 43:54Speaker 2: that this character wants to be loved.
- 43:56Speaker 5: I will also say these are all choices that made
- 43:59Speaker 5: for or myself and my character, and this is never
- 44:02Speaker 5: addressed in the movie.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Oh oh, you're you could.
- 44:06Speaker 4: Be the first internally gay but not outwardly expressing it DC.
- 44:12Speaker 2: You guys, I actually I can make this announcement because this.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Doesn't seem like it's privileged information if.
- 44:17Speaker 2: You made it up.
- 44:18Speaker 5: But I am proud to announce that to my knowledge,
- 44:22Speaker 5: I'm the I'm playing the first closeted DC villain.
- 44:28Speaker 4: So you're publicly announcing like kind of your internal actor's backstory.
- 44:33Speaker 1: For the character.
- 44:34Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 44:34Speaker 6: Yeah, it's bold of you, though, to say that none
- 44:37Speaker 6: of the DC characters in the universe could be closeted.
- 44:40Speaker 2: They could not Joker straight, Riddler straight, Go Go Go
- 44:45Speaker 2: one at a time, seen a couple penises or no,
- 44:50Speaker 2: no way. Penguin is straight but has some kinks two face.
- 44:53Speaker 2: That's basically bisexuality.
- 44:56Speaker 5: That is very offensive to my character, who will never
- 44:59Speaker 5: bring it up because is he scared to be caught.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Okay, what have you told Josh Sweet in this Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 2: he said some weird things to me. What did I know?
- 45:10Speaker 5: Everybody I know loves Josh, and I don't want to
- 45:12Speaker 5: say anything bad about him, but there's some stuff that
- 45:13Speaker 5: I've seen about him that isn't great if I'm being honest.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Can we cut that out? You're not the first, I'm not.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Let's go around that makes me excited.
- 45:23Speaker 6: Let's admit one secrets and admitting my secret one secret
- 45:31Speaker 6: about the role that I'm just inspired that your character's
- 45:35Speaker 6: closing one one secret about secret.
- 45:37Speaker 1: I can't.
- 45:38Speaker 2: It's very interesting to talk about secrets. I mean, Meryl
- 45:41Speaker 2: Streep always says every character needs a secret.
- 45:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:44Speaker 2: I would love to talk about what your method and
- 45:47Speaker 2: what your secret is for your character. Yeah, that would
- 45:50Speaker 2: be great. Are we all method here? Did we all
- 45:52Speaker 2: go method? Or did we not? I was in and out?
- 45:55Speaker 2: So no, what you I bet?
- 45:57Speaker 4: It seems like you're a method for all the times
- 45:59Speaker 4: that you are taking pictures of girls.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Wow. Yes, when they say action, I'm mef it. I
- 46:04Speaker 2: mean the character when they cut I go to lunch.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Okay, so that's not me, that's just tactic I had.
- 46:13Speaker 2: I'll just tell you my process. I had a.
- 46:17Speaker 5: A character journal where if I was writing in this journal,
- 46:19Speaker 5: I was the character all the time, and I wrote
- 46:22Speaker 5: some gross stuff.
- 46:24Speaker 2: In there, like what well, I can't give anything away,
- 46:28Speaker 2: but I drew a lot of pictures of people with
- 46:33Speaker 2: bullet holes in them. I drew a lot of pictures
- 46:37Speaker 2: of the gross shop shop because I can tell you
- 46:43Speaker 2: guys look queasy and someone with a.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Hole through their oil or that's just gross, gross, gross.
- 46:49Speaker 2: So you are very similar to your character. You've also
- 46:52Speaker 2: got a hole in your heart.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Oops. I wasn't supposed to say.
- 46:56Speaker 3: But that is my secret.
- 46:57Speaker 1: That's a real life secret.
- 46:59Speaker 3: The dark side of the Moon is dying, and so
- 47:01Speaker 3: am I are you?
- 47:04Speaker 1: So when what happens when the Dark side of the
- 47:09Speaker 1: Moon goes away? Do you die too?
- 47:12Speaker 2: Are they trying to time it out perfect?
- 47:14Speaker 6: The chicken or the egg? Do you join the union
- 47:17Speaker 6: or get your sag guard? It's like one of the two.
- 47:19Speaker 6: You know what will happen, and then the joining the
- 47:24Speaker 6: union or getting your sag card to join.
- 47:27Speaker 1: The make a choice, have to make a choice.
- 47:31Speaker 3: Chicken in the egg away? How do you join the union?
- 47:34Speaker 2: Do you get a job? Or do you join the
- 47:36Speaker 2: You know some more with mister peanut, Please tell me
- 47:38Speaker 2: you you're in the union. You're in SAG right until
- 47:42Speaker 2: the day I died.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Wow, they're going to induct you into SAG the day
- 47:48Speaker 1: you pass away.
- 47:49Speaker 3: I am an equity member as a man of the theater.
- 47:54Speaker 3: But besides that, I ve O. I'm barely on stage.
- 47:58Speaker 4: Okay maybe okay, I don't know how you're scooting this
- 48:02Speaker 4: sones sleep, but well, lock me up SAG.
- 48:06Speaker 1: That's a good secret.
- 48:08Speaker 2: You must be a must must, must must join. They
- 48:11Speaker 2: must send you a lot of you know what tells
- 48:15Speaker 2: him A must join up the hospital?
- 48:19Speaker 3: You must join the hospital.
- 48:21Speaker 1: You're a goal.
- 48:22Speaker 2: You're a hospital must join. I'm dying. They're sending you
- 48:26Speaker 2: letters saying this is your last chance to join the hospital.
- 48:31Speaker 1: You are going to pass away. You need to join
- 48:34Speaker 1: this hospital.
- 48:35Speaker 6: Now and then then the hospital must joins. O, the
- 48:40Speaker 6: hospital must joins.
- 48:41Speaker 4: Oh so you could probably make another movie before because
- 48:46Speaker 4: you haven't gotten one yet.
- 48:47Speaker 3: That's why we're doing the origin story of the Dark
- 48:49Speaker 3: said of the.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Moon before I go.
- 48:51Speaker 1: Now, you icye you eligible? Or is that something else?
- 48:56Speaker 2: I think that's a different guild.
- 48:58Speaker 1: That's a different guild.
- 49:01Speaker 3: If I haven't paid my dues.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Next, well what about you? What'sh just a secret?
- 49:06Speaker 2: Can we talk about maybe a secret.
- 49:09Speaker 4: Of the.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Mixer son's mom. Oh with a mixer son.
- 49:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a secret.
- 49:18Speaker 4: This is actually a real sort of onset secret because
- 49:21Speaker 4: the mixer's mom was Julianne Moore and she did such
- 49:26Speaker 4: a great job. We did three takes of a very
- 49:29Speaker 4: heartwarming scene that sort of humanizes the mixer's son. But
- 49:35Speaker 4: in it I got so into character and so off
- 49:38Speaker 4: script that I ended up banishing her from set, so
- 49:41Speaker 4: they wrote her completely out.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Of the movie. Can we see that clip?
- 49:46Speaker 7: Yes?
- 49:46Speaker 1: Please see that Yes, with my commentary in it, that'd
- 49:50Speaker 1: be great daily. Right, Yes, I'll bring you the Daily. Okay,
- 49:55Speaker 1: here we go. So this is Julianne Moore is comforting
- 49:59Speaker 1: a young the mixer's.
- 50:02Speaker 4: Son after a troubling shoot on the Access Hollywood set
- 50:07Speaker 4: where he.
- 50:11Speaker 1: He's an adult.
- 50:14Speaker 4: He's an adult. He goes to visit his mom sometimes
- 50:16Speaker 4: after shoots. Okay, here we go, let's roll it.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Listen, mixer son, I think.
- 50:27Speaker 1: I think you got just or split it out.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Look, I love you no matter what. You mess up.
- 50:35Speaker 4: Your filth and grime, your filth and grime, and I
- 50:38Speaker 4: will banish you from the earth.
- 50:40Speaker 1: And actually I will banish you from this set. Get
- 50:44Speaker 1: off my set?
- 50:47Speaker 2: He is he serious? Oh my gosh's take to get off?
- 50:52Speaker 2: Is it serious?
- 50:53Speaker 1: Get out?
- 50:54Speaker 2: Books?
- 50:54Speaker 6: Work camera up in three two one, Access Hollywood, Go.
- 51:05Speaker 1: And the news?
- 51:06Speaker 2: Is it in?
- 51:08Speaker 4: In Coppo's News, Ben Affleck and Jana are on the
- 51:12Speaker 4: fridge again.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Can you say trouble in Paradise?
- 51:16Speaker 2: Wow? Wow? What a great clip. So in that clip
- 51:21Speaker 2: if I saw it visually, so I feel like I
- 51:23Speaker 2: could describe it. You and Julianne Moore were having what
- 51:28Speaker 2: was supposed to be a conversation and then yes, you
- 51:33Speaker 2: banished her and they immediately moved on to the next scene,
- 51:36Speaker 2: which was the Access Hollywood scene.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Tarantino is nothing but efficient? Is he really is? Oh gosh?
- 51:44Speaker 2: She seemed very confused.
- 51:46Speaker 1: She was very confused. I called her. I sent her
- 51:48Speaker 1: a fruit basket. Once I was out of character. We
- 51:51Speaker 1: made up. We're getting lunch soon. It's all gonna be over.
- 51:55Speaker 4: But I would love to know from all of you,
- 51:57Speaker 4: you know where there's he's very I would love to
- 51:59Speaker 4: know what you're hoping for audiences to see in this movie. Actually,
- 52:05Speaker 4: you know what I just want to know.
- 52:07Speaker 2: I would love you. Are you okay? What's going on?
- 52:12Speaker 2: You're being very high function he please please tell me
- 52:15Speaker 2: the mixer isn't showing. Don't tell me, please tell me.
- 52:18Speaker 1: Oh, because I'm I'm fighting him off.
- 52:21Speaker 4: I'm fighting off the mixer and I'm fighting off the
- 52:23Speaker 4: mixer Son right now?
- 52:25Speaker 2: Okay, you know what.
- 52:26Speaker 1: Failt and grind?
- 52:27Speaker 7: Oh?
- 52:28Speaker 2: Who is that?
- 52:28Speaker 1: Failth and grime? Junior? O the mixer Son?
- 52:33Speaker 2: Oh, the both the same.
- 52:36Speaker 1: I'm giving them down. I'm giving them down.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Or so we know it's the sun with.
- 52:43Speaker 4: Yes like cracked egg shells, horrors of the Earth, horror,
- 52:48Speaker 4: pestual and slime.
- 52:50Speaker 1: And then the mixer Son is pops in with something
- 52:53Speaker 1: like horror, pestul and slime, Junior.
- 53:05Speaker 3: To the force of a performance. O.
- 53:07Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, thank you, Junior.
- 53:12Speaker 2: So what did you want to say?
- 53:15Speaker 1: What I want to know is what everyone's working on
- 53:18Speaker 1: after this.
- 53:21Speaker 3: Great I've already entered it. Dogs oide of the Moon
- 53:23Speaker 3: origin story and.
- 53:25Speaker 2: So so is the Dogs side of the Moon? Just
- 53:27Speaker 2: a person in the Bahamas and then goes up to
- 53:30Speaker 2: the Moon. What's the why are you filming in the Bahamas?
- 53:33Speaker 3: Well, we're doing it for a certain angle where Reese
- 53:37Speaker 3: is directing.
- 53:38Speaker 2: Great I love to see her in the director's chairs.
- 53:41Speaker 2: She jumped from catwoman to the director's chairs and.
- 53:45Speaker 3: We're going to see the Birth of the Moon.
- 53:48Speaker 6: And they they found a spot in the Bahamas where
- 53:52Speaker 6: they can get a gorgeous shot of the sky.
- 53:54Speaker 2: Also, I want to die there. So as you are
- 53:59Speaker 2: just doing vo for the movie.
- 54:01Speaker 6: Yes, and the production company came up to me and
- 54:03Speaker 6: they said, Okay, we gotta go, we gotta go.
- 54:05Speaker 3: You got two months here we go.
- 54:06Speaker 2: We gotta go.
- 54:07Speaker 3: And I said yes, so they.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Said prod yes. Well, they were taking a lot of
- 54:13Speaker 1: money riding on you, bee.
- 54:15Speaker 7: Yes.
- 54:15Speaker 6: They were talking about doctors and they were like, we
- 54:17Speaker 6: gotta go. And I said to them, They said, where
- 54:20Speaker 6: do you want to shoot this? Where do you want
- 54:21Speaker 6: to spend the last three weeks of your life? And
- 54:24Speaker 6: I said to the bombers, m what about you all.
- 54:28Speaker 2: I'm working on a small indie movie right now. It's
- 54:31Speaker 2: black and white and it's gonna be good. What's it about.
- 54:36Speaker 2: It's about the voyages of two men stuck on a boat. Okay,
- 54:42Speaker 2: and they it's drama, a straight drama, a spooky thriller.
- 54:47Speaker 2: It's me and Matthew Lillard. We are stuck on a boat.
- 54:51Speaker 2: I love him. Mm hm. He's so funny. And is
- 54:54Speaker 2: he directing too? He's such a good director. He is
- 54:57Speaker 2: not directing. I was directing the director is Isn't that? Yes?
- 55:04Speaker 2: It's Reese Witherspoon and Freddie Prince Junior have teamed up
- 55:08Speaker 2: to direct this wow small indie. We're shooting in Long
- 55:13Speaker 2: Beach and I'm really excited for people to see this one.
- 55:18Speaker 4: You well, I probably shouldn't say, but I'm gonna say
- 55:23Speaker 4: it anyway, because I've cleared this with the studio.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Don't let me model behavior that you shouldn't be doing.
- 55:30Speaker 1: I went proud to announce the Mexa's grandson is in production.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Who I think your health?
- 55:40Speaker 3: Sho angle?
- 55:41Speaker 2: Taking on a third in that little breaks gonna split
- 55:44Speaker 2: you once more.
