- 1:58the insurance business yeah okay that's right you were doing
- 2:01that okay okay yeah so a year and a half ago when they before that we had we
- 2:05did the movie with the movie shout out to misha shout out to misha shout out
- 2:09to misha yeah uh what is it uh hidden in plain sight hidden in plain sight yeah
- 2:13so hidden in plain sight it was a 10 minute short film that went to.
- 2:19Premiered at the place called sacramento film festival 2023
- 2:2322 22 22 wow yeah yeah
- 2:27right yeah keep up yeah how about words 22 22 2022
- 2:30yeah how did you get involved with that
- 2:33there was a casting on sat casting and
- 2:37i did the video audition misha hit
- 2:40me up and was like you know since
- 2:43sending another audition so i did that and then she
- 2:45called me up and was like she was excited about you she's we
- 2:48got buddy on this i want you to join us
- 2:51and that's how i met her yeah so you didn't know her before
- 2:54that never knew her never knew her yeah she's
- 2:57cool did you know her yeah so i knew her from when
- 3:00i first started doing stand-up comedy really okay very first
- 3:04place i ever produced shows was at this bookstore off of del pasamo it's not
- 3:07there no more but carol's bookstore you know i know i used to go there for the
- 3:10meetings for the meetings that's how i found out about the spot that's right
- 3:13so i was doing shows so i was doing comedy shows up there and she was she was
- 3:16at the shows and she had her whole like bougie bandeau box and stuff like that.
- 3:21She was like one of the first sponsors, the unofficial sponsors of the Yeah Buddy comedy show.
- 3:27We had her bougie bandeau boxes for all your cannabis covers and all your cannabis
- 3:32needs and all that good jazz.
- 3:35So now you, that's where we're back to doing a hidden in plain side and stuff like that.
- 3:41It was very informative. Very enlightening about how.
- 3:47How closely tied it is, even though we're on the West Coast,
- 3:49stuff like that, but still how closely tied it was with slavery and everything
- 3:54like that, but then also being able to tie it into how it still affects us today. Yes, absolutely.
- 4:02Yeah, I never knew the story, and it was a real story.
- 4:06And what was it, the something house? I forget the name of the house,
- 4:09but you know, okay, so long ago, but anyways, the history of,
- 4:13When when slave owners were able to bring their slaves to California,
- 4:18California was a free state.
- 4:20So even though it was a free state, when your slave came, they had to stay at
- 4:24this certain hotel here in Sacramento.
- 4:27And it was actually over by the what was it? The K Street Bridge.
- 4:31That's where it was originally built.
- 4:33And so for her to tell the story of the guy that was brought here and then end up being free,
- 4:40at the end and the Supreme Court overruling all this never knew that never knew
- 4:46Sacramento had a history like that.
- 4:48It's not only a dramatic movie though there was some comedic stuff in there so you had to wear the BBL,
- 4:55I wanted to ask because I was like,
- 4:58what was that like when she just showed you this stuff so if y'all don't know
- 5:01watching the movie she had to have like she had to wear this fake BBL to represent
- 5:06because she was playing a reality movie She was like a social media star.
- 5:10And Misha had an idea of how she would look.
- 5:14And I remember during the audition, I remember one thing she wanted me to do was turn around.
- 5:19And unfortunately, my BBL, my ass was not that big. Sorry, I don't mean to curse.
- 5:24No worries. But it wasn't that big. She had this huge pillow thing that was wrapped around me.
- 5:28And I remember trying to forget to wear it. And she'd be like,
- 5:31oh, no, no. We got to put that on.
- 5:34It was absolutely hilarious. and then this jumper that was underneath it.
- 5:38But yeah, that was Sarah.
- 5:40That was Sarah. That was Sarah, yeah. Yeah, and then that jacket,
- 5:44that jacket, that blue jacket, I'll still wear that to the day.
- 5:46I'll still wear that to this day. I'll be, I'll wear that to this day, yeah.
- 5:49I'll tell everybody the story of it, yeah. Of the jacket. I remember the dresses
- 5:52that she had. I wanted to keep some of the dresses. They were really nice.
- 5:56But he was like, he played my man. And he was, he was for, you were for, you were conservative.
- 6:02I was conservative, yeah. He was a conservative rapper, artist. And I was like, not Ford.
- 6:08Like Snoop Dogg. Yeah, he was like Snoop Dogg. Absolutely.
- 6:12He was like Snoop Dogg. And I wasn't having it. So it was funny how the character
- 6:18progressed from at the beginning, she's like this ignorant kind of social media,
- 6:23don't care about, you know, world events, politics.
- 6:26And then along towards the end of the movie, she kind of gets it and understand
- 6:30what's going on in the world. Yeah.
- 6:33Nice. And then I said, so that movie went to the place called Sacramento Film Festival.
- 6:38Was that your first time going to that film festival? No. The first time I went
- 6:40to that film festival, I was doing a film with, oh my gosh, Dwight Taylor.
- 6:46Oh, shout out to Dwight. Yeah. Shout out to Dwight Taylor. Was it a horror movie?
- 6:49It was, yeah. It was a horror movie.
- 6:51No, it was a horror movie. It was. And it was all kid cast. Was it the doll?
- 6:57No. No. This one was, oh gosh, Matt Genius.
- 7:00Matt Genius was the name. first time i
- 7:03did a film in sacramento i was what do you
- 7:06call them and it's an extra but they want to make it seem really special
- 7:09a featured extra i was
- 7:12a featured extra i was one of the ghouls and actually
- 7:15he won awards for that the two kids in the film won
- 7:18best kid both of them won awards at a place called sacramento he
- 7:21did really good yeah and come to find out he's like
- 7:24this super talented kid that's been working since
- 7:28he was like what toddler or whatever like he
- 7:31grew up in a business and he's really talented and doing big things in
- 7:33LA now nice who's that Dwight oh yeah yeah yeah
- 7:37absolutely he's doing he's
- 7:40doing big things yeah oh what movie was it that I did with Dwight it
- 7:43was pressure I can't remember but it was
- 7:45something about like some high school shooting or like that it was like this
- 7:50is true to me I was like all right man did we shot at a school we
- 7:53shot at a school and and dang I
- 7:56think it was over on Florin or somewhere and that's
- 7:59where we shot the whole film at and we had access to the school it
- 8:02was hot it was summertime yeah they got makeup artists they
- 8:05got stuff on our face i mean it was it was like he i didn't know who he was
- 8:10and after that i knew exactly who he was like he's a big deal no yeah yeah shout
- 8:14out to dwight shout out to dwight down in la making us all proud of yes absolutely
- 8:17sacramento show and then so then now it goes so we went to but that was just
- 8:23but the bcs that was your first time like being like.
- 8:25The lead then oh yeah oh yeah that was the first
- 8:28well no because i had it i had a film with
- 8:31them called the transplanted and it was uh betsy
- 8:34bynum she wrote and directed that one and that
- 8:37was right before i did this film and i was uh one of the supporting cast i was
- 8:42the neighborly neighbor you know and that was a really good film that betsy
- 8:46wrote and directed and then this one was one where i was actually a lead that
- 8:50was my first lead here in sacramento in the film and that was exciting.
- 8:54I thought she would have won. I thought she did really good.
- 8:57I don't think it was ready for that heaviest stuff. I don't think so either.
- 9:01I thought it was good. I really thought she was going to win for that film.
- 9:06You know what was dope though?
- 9:07People don't understand. She made two movies. She did. That's right. She sure did.
- 9:13She made two movies. She made like...
- 9:15As a matter of fact, because the one that we ended up showing,
- 9:17I was like, we made that in a deal.
- 9:23We made that in a couple of hours. Oh, my God.
- 9:28We made that in a couple of hours. That's funny. It was a feature length,
- 9:31remember? Because remember she found out that she didn't own that film.
- 9:35And remember, she wasn't able to submit it to other film festivals.
- 9:39And she was like, I remember her saying, I'm not doing that.
- 9:41So we're going to have two versions of it. So yeah, Misha, shout out to you,
- 9:45Misha. She did the original.
- 9:46She did the remix right there, too. She did the remix.
- 9:49That's right. Yeah. We were shooting different scenes, one for the feature length,
- 9:53one for the short film. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Cool.
- 9:56And then, so I didn't know you had previous experience working like the PCS
- 10:02and stuff like that. What has been your experience like being an actress up here in Sacramento?
- 10:08Well, what I love about acting in Sacramento is the community.
- 10:11Because I'm originally from Portland, Oregon. So I started my acting career there.
- 10:16And so coming here, I didn't think I wanted to get back into acting.
- 10:20And when I did, the community was very welcoming. I mean, I can't think of the
- 10:25name of the film festival or whatever the group was that I joined.
- 10:31The one that we used to have the meetings at the- Oh, the audio stuff,
- 10:35the California- There we go, so sorry.
- 10:38California Film Festival, Martin Anaya.
- 10:41He was so helpful he guided
- 10:44me along the way that's why i started going to the meetings to kind of understand
- 10:48what the community was about i went to different events and
- 10:51i loved it i thought it was really good yeah yeah i got
- 10:53a lot of different roles with stat casting that
- 10:56was really huge to me when everyone was like going stat casting it
- 11:00was a great experience it was really good that's good that's good
- 11:03because i think that's the main thing that you take
- 11:06away from being up here is you have the opportunity where people
- 11:09will help you grow like with like your resume yes
- 11:12yes yes being able to become like
- 11:15if you want to take it that far like to be a member like sag and stuff like
- 11:18that i mean you're not maybe you're not going to get like those like a list
- 11:22that you that you that you know everybody you know of course everybody wants
- 11:27and inspires to want to get stuff like that but if you're just talking about
- 11:30just the point blank period point of getting your SAG card. Yeah.
- 11:34I'm all like, it's so easy to get up here because there are people like it's
- 11:39so community driven where they're like, that's what they're trying to do.
- 11:42We're like, we're just trying to build a community of SAG actors or whatever maybe.
- 11:47And then everybody's, for the most part,
- 11:50Everybody supports each other as long as whatever it is that they do doesn't
- 11:54intersect or intercross you.
- 11:56Yeah, no, I'm being nice. But yeah, it's very true.
- 12:01That's all we do. No, no. Some people don't get along with it.
- 12:04No, they don't. No, they don't. They really don't. And you see that.
- 12:08Listen, you see the ones that are there all the time, and that's going to get
- 12:12that part, that movie, working with that casting director all the time. I figured it out.
- 12:18And it is true. Like if you want your SAG card, they can help you do that.
- 12:23But I found that the way I approach things were I'm going to do it myself.
- 12:29I like working independent because I don't have to worry about I can't work
- 12:33on this film because it's SAG or whatever.
- 12:36So I kind of enjoyed the independence. But when I started out,
- 12:39I was trying to be that girl.
- 12:41I wanted to be SAG. I wanted to be like, you know, Hollywood,
- 12:44all that. And then you realize, you know, okay, that's, that is probably not going to happen.
- 12:50Like it takes a lot to make that happen. And you know what I mean?
- 12:53And if you're not in the right crowds or the right groups, I mean,
- 12:56I joined certain casting, you know, agencies around and you realize that as
- 13:01many meetings as I go to, as many group events that you go to,
- 13:04it's just, it's not happening. Yeah.
- 13:06Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. It's not happening. But like,
- 13:09it's a weird thing that like, like, you know, it's not, but you still,
- 13:12that's how, you know, people up here love it though.
- 13:14Because like you get to the point to the reality of the situation is where you like.
- 13:21Damn you know what I'm saying like it's not like a dream killer no
- 13:24it's a reality of the situation where you gotta that like that independence
- 13:28and stuff like that like being able to like with like with this setup right
- 13:32here I'm able to have like my own like production yeah exactly exactly you know
- 13:36what I'm saying I got the guy right here yeah the guy the guy right here you
- 13:41know what's I don't know about Josh, you know.
- 13:45No, no, I agree with you. I love that because my thing was after a while,
- 13:50I did a lot of like, you know, the office videos, you know, stuff like that.
- 13:53When I first started out, I'd be so excited.
- 13:55Oh my gosh, I'm doing this office video, you know? And it was just a bunch of skits.
- 14:00What I got from it was it helped me to work on camera.
- 14:03It helped me, you know, you get, I pull the positives out of it.
- 14:06But after a while I'm like, you know, okay, I'm going to have to make my own opportunities here.
- 14:11And that's exactly how I approached it. I was like, got an opportunity to do a podcast.
- 14:16Didn't know what that was. Thought it was a joke podcast, really.
- 14:19And when I first started doing it, I was just, you know, this is a lot of fun.
- 14:23And then when I realized like, wait, I can take this and make this my own thing,
- 14:27find my own lane that works out. and that's the lane that I got in and it worked out and here we are.
- 14:33But I still go on different calls. I just redefine what I'm doing.
- 14:39I won't do too many short films. I'm not going to do a lot of auditioning.
- 14:43I tend to go for things that are more commercial work. And that has helped out
- 14:47more. But that's what's up here.
- 14:50And you're going to get work like that. And get paid.
- 14:54You're going to get paid. It's not going to be something like, oh it's
- 14:57gonna go to you know your whole family's gonna see other yeah no
- 15:00but you know what my bill got paid yeah
- 15:03no commercial work industrial work i guess
- 15:07so yeah i guess i guess like i did zoomies i
- 15:10did zoomies one of my very first like acting jobs
- 15:13i think was doing um like zoomies training video i did training video out in
- 15:17um out at apple like apple over sitting at a table just like this and like there
- 15:22was some old dude sitting next to me and he was talking to like this other group
- 15:26of people just talk about like his stage presence and how he likes to tell jokes
- 15:29on stage. I'm over thinking he's a stand-up comedian.
- 15:32I was like, oh, okay, you tell jokes, I tell jokes too.
- 15:35And then everybody just looked at me hella weird and shit. And then they got
- 15:38up and they're like, you know who the fuck that was? I was like,
- 15:39no, who was that? They were like, that was Warren Buffett. You know, I was like.
- 15:43Wow i'll bet wow but these are the opportunities that
- 15:46come like with these things stuff like that you're like like you
- 15:49just being on a film set like you never know what's gonna happen like once you
- 15:52strip yourself of the ego and really understand what is up here yep there are
- 15:56so many opportunities and buses where it's all like like you don't got to be
- 16:01like famous to the whole world but like you do it what you're doing everybody
- 16:06in your world yes oh it's your face.
- 16:09Who's your famous you know and that's
- 16:13that's all you need yeah that's how i mean the the
- 16:16when i when i you know was like being realistic with
- 16:19myself and i'm like okay ross spending a lot of time on these sets you're doing
- 16:22a lot of short films you can be in that short film world but i'm not trying
- 16:26to do that so i'm like okay let me think i'm gonna start going for more commercial
- 16:32work that's what i'm gonna go for and that's what i did i did a lot of the campaign for,
- 16:36california the heat campaign that was a big deal
- 16:39didn't realize that was huge right up the street got paid
- 16:42for that the sacramento international airport one
- 16:45yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah you don't
- 16:48see that like every time i like open up like an app i didn't even know when
- 16:53i saw yours i was like oh my gosh i totally forgot about that so i went to their
- 16:58page i'm looking i'm looking it'd been up and i didn't even know it'd been up
- 17:02it'd been playing didn't know so i stick to that And it's in and out work, it's only one day,
- 17:08you get paid, it's a commercial, and you're done.
- 17:11So that's what I do. I do more of that type of work and that's how I got this
- 17:15latest gig that I'm on. Yeah.
- 17:17Let's talk about that in a second. I want to talk about the path that you took
- 17:22it compared to other paths like me joining the Screen Actors Guild and all that type of stuff.
- 17:28It's really more beneficial to do the commercial work like
- 17:30i said like you chase the whole aspect of you know pain and stuff
- 17:33like that right but then like once you reach the passing but in the
- 17:36past four years we've had we've had the pandemic shut us down and shut down
- 17:40everything yes absolutely we've had two strikes yes we just had hollywood burned
- 17:45down yeah right everybody down there in la and stuff like that but i was just
- 17:48all like and that's that's the stuff that's funneling all the SAG work up here
- 17:52and stuff and where I'm all like.
- 17:54Huh, I can get back into doing this industrial.
- 17:57I'm like, is anybody for SAG really going to watch this training video?
- 18:02Right. Right. No, for real. For real. Yeah. Yeah. And the training videos, like I said,
- 18:07you know, that was the first ones they had is so crazy because the first ones
- 18:11I did was in Rancho and they had this whole business complex that was not a
- 18:17working business complex, a bunch of offices.
- 18:19And I would go there like maybe once every other week they call me back and
- 18:23they have these scenarios, you know, say you're, you know, sexual harassment,
- 18:26you know, and different office videos.
- 18:29And I would do a lot of those just industrial videos and I, and it was in and
- 18:33out and it was great. Met, met a lot of people.
- 18:35But I, at that point I was still like, no, I'm an actress. I want to be an actress. I want to be Hollywood.
- 18:40I want to be, so I wasn't giving it up. And you know, I would stress myself
- 18:44out to the point where I'm like,
- 18:46I think I quit so many times that tell my husband I can't
- 18:49do this anymore like it's it's ridiculous
- 18:52and you go through that and I'm just you know you try to
- 18:54find your lane you know and and I found
- 18:57my lane you know yeah so you know I'll jump in I did a lot of extra work you
- 19:03know when I first got here a lot of extra work which is help out the community
- 19:06that's what I like about Sacramento if someone's trying to shoot a student film
- 19:10I tell people jump on those you know it helps you on set plus it gets you out there but.
- 19:16Like you said that that um a-lister type of
- 19:18stuff that it's hard work it's it's
- 19:21hard work it's hard it's a lot of work it really
- 19:24is it is yeah it goes so much more beyond
- 19:28like just the whole idea of like i don't
- 19:30know like like from like my experience for being on the
- 19:33movies it's like to like i say like say back when i was like doing like
- 19:36short films and all these types of things like that i was all like i have
- 19:40no idea what the hell i was thinking man right like
- 19:43i was like that the i think the one like the aha moment
- 19:46that i had because i when i first got like like the sad car okay
- 19:49now i'm doing background work in these sad movies i'm you know over on
- 19:51venom and all these types of things it's always just cool like
- 19:54wow wow look at all this going on and stuff like that but it was once i got
- 19:58to be the stand-in yeah on what movie was it it was either dirt well we'll just
- 20:05do a stand-in in jerome but it's probably probably last black man in san francisco
- 20:08okay and being able to see like,
- 20:13Jonathan Majors like in like that whole because I was his standard so basically
- 20:17I had to be by him you know so basically I had to be by him for the whole entire
- 20:20month the whole entire five weeks that we're filming this movie and stuff all like that so.
- 20:27Talking to him and curing his journey of like
- 20:30you know from you know going to the school and all these types
- 20:32of things like that and i'm all like and you and
- 20:35then getting the agents and yeah all this
- 20:38type of stuff and then because it's kind of like his big big break was like
- 20:42do a love crap country like hbo okay but like i was standing right next to him
- 20:48when he had found out that he had got got that booking you know what i'm saying
- 20:51so you know now i know he has all these people like PR people, ages,
- 20:56marriages, representation and stuff like that.
- 20:58And I'm seeing all these things that all these moving pieces that it takes just to get there.
- 21:03And I'm like, yeah, we're the same age. Right. Yeah, right.
- 21:08And not like the age, but I'm like there's still so much that so we've probably
- 21:15been doing it for the same amount of time.
- 21:17But like I said, seeing all the things that, all the moving parts that it takes
- 21:21in order to even just to get to that point yeah oh it's way more than just a
- 21:24fucking dream it's way more than.
- 21:29You you the hours on set you
- 21:32know being on a professional set the hours that you're on that set 15 hours
- 21:37yes 16 hours oh my gosh yes movie parts movie scripts is changing all that but
- 21:43now you don't you like you you may think that it's cool but like you know so
- 21:48i'm on this movie set But like you,
- 21:49that's your entire life For however time it is So even like once you rap,
- 21:53it's not like We're going out to parties I just did a 16 hour day,
- 22:00Besides the bed But I can't, I gotta study these lines for the next day Because
- 22:04we do script Scene by scene by scene Or whatever,
- 22:07however it is Your processes of learning the scene Learning your dialogue,
- 22:11stuff like that But I'm pretty sure the easiest way to learn it Is.
- 22:16Learn it that night you know so that way you take it with you fresh in the morning
- 22:20you're not going to want to remember a whole like hundred a page hundred twenty
- 22:24pages and then try to remember every line,
- 22:27but like yeah it's so it's a lot and then not only that but then like once you
- 22:33do like reach that point of being on like TV and everybody has that view and
- 22:38that perception of you to where now like,
- 22:41wherever I go I kind of have to be,
- 22:44like be like this like if I'm a comedian everybody's going to want to see me
- 22:49like, and maybe they might not be, maybe they might not, but that's just,
- 22:53maybe they're like man, I'm not trying to hear these fucking jokes.
- 22:54If I'm not, I'm like, I gotta be, like, you know? I think, yeah,
- 22:58because I mean, if you look at certain people, like, for instance,
- 23:00King of Queens, you know, the guy that played Doug Heffernan,
- 23:03Every movie that he's in, he's Doug Heffernan. Even when he's trying not to
- 23:07be, he's typecast to play Doug Heffernan.
- 23:10It paid off, but still, do you want to play that same character?
- 23:13And then when he strays away from it, everybody looks like, because I know you're
- 23:18talking about the Kevin James dude or whatever.
- 23:19Yeah, the Kevin James, yeah. He had some indie movie where he had played a Nazi or whatever.
- 23:23Really? Shaved-headed everything. Wow.
- 23:26But it was such a far departure. Nobody would want to hear about it.
- 23:30Yeah, no. didn't know nobody would ever
- 23:32want to hear about that type of stuff you know i'm saying yeah he probably did like it's
- 23:35like it's just a break from yeah so he's not yeah
- 23:38because he's doug heffernan i mean any movies doug
- 23:41heffernan just like the girl that played carrie you know she plays
- 23:44that same part and even the jay-lo movie that she did she was
- 23:47carrie you know so you do get type kept and people want
- 23:50you to still be that person yeah all the
- 23:53time even when i'm not on camera yeah they were at the grocery store they'd
- 23:56be all like like yeah they'd be like hey do that do that
- 23:59do that right do that me that's great
- 24:08yeah or even like like just like from an actor standpoint like it's like man
- 24:11do i gotta make sure like everyone oh like presentable i gotta be like you know
- 24:15yeah so like or like or like the thing that used to get me all the time is like
- 24:20when i would do like it's so such it's just it's more so just an ego thing but
- 24:24even like I don't do background work, like a commercial.
- 24:26I might get like 0.5 seconds of camera time. I'm over looking at stuff like this. Just see me on TV.
- 24:32Just see me on TV. You're literally hoping that.
- 24:36And then it's always because all black people look like somebody.
- 24:39I'm like, oh man, you're, you're, you're, you're. And I'm like, yeah, buddy.
- 24:42Like, no, you're Tyler, the creator, ain't you? I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 24:44Oh my gosh, I bet you get that a lot.
- 24:46I get, well, I get almost, I get almost everything but me.
- 24:51Somebody called me a Lamar Morris
- 24:53the other day. I had my locks in All the way down Did you have locks?
- 25:00Yeah, people call me Wiz Khalifa. Really? I can see that. I can see that.
- 25:04I have my Mexican partner, Tio.
- 25:07He's a big Mexican dude. People would see us walking in. They're like,
- 25:09that's motherfucking Wiz Khalifa burner. Stuff like that. Oh,
- 25:12yeah, yeah, burner. Yeah.
- 25:15I can see that. I can definitely see that. Definitely Tyler,
- 25:19the creator. Yeah, I can see that. Spike Lee a little bit, too.
- 25:22No, when I have the glasses in, I have a stand-up joke about that.
- 25:25When I have my glasses on, I'm like, well, I got to get a new pair of glasses.
- 25:28But next pair of glasses I get full Spike Lee style and stuff like that I don't
- 25:32get it all the way I even got a bit about that like no because it used to happen
- 25:37like this was a super awkward,
- 25:40situation like where I was on I was working on a movie or whatever and you know
- 25:44like we all got to be up in the changing room or whatever stuff like that so
- 25:47I'm over here getting changed and the way anybody knows the way they have the
- 25:50changing room is like it's just a tit and it's just a tit,
- 25:53and then everybody all the backtracks we're all just up in here Everybody's
- 25:57just changing and stuff like that.
- 25:59So I'm over here trying to change this to my tuxedo. There's this background actor or whatever.
- 26:03And he's just looking at me the whole time. And he's just like, looking at me.
- 26:07You know? And I was like, what the fuck? Bro, I'm changing. Right,
- 26:10right, right. I was like, man, leave me alone. And he's all like, Spike.
- 26:15It's like Spike Lee. Yep. I'm like, no. He's like, yeah, he's all,
- 26:19he's all, yeah, he's all.
- 26:20He's like, man, I thought Spike Lee was doing background work at first.
- 26:23I see it. I see it. I'm like, no, stop.
- 26:24Yep, I see it. Especially when you came to the studio. and you have your glasses
- 26:27on and everything. Oh, yeah. Definitely. With the glasses on, yeah.
- 26:30Full spike-y mode. I'll be in my director bag lately, too, and shit like that. Oh, yeah.
- 26:35Okay. I'll show you the short. If you got time, after we wrap up,
- 26:38I'll show you the short for my director and stuff like that.
- 26:41Nice. Nice. How do you think? Thank you.
- 26:43Oh, so let's get back to, like, working back up here. Okay. Sacramento.
- 26:48I don't know if we can talk about it, but you're, like, the thing?
- 26:52Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah.
- 26:53Oh, yeah. No, I talked to them. Yeah, they were virtual. I want to make sure they work.
- 26:57Okay, cool. Yeah. So you recently just got, is it contract work?
- 27:01Yeah. So it's contract work.
- 27:03It's, I started out as a hand model. I shout out to Fathom.
- 27:06Well, used to be Fathom. Now it's DM Studios here in Sacramento.
- 27:10They're doing big things.
- 27:11And it was called on sad casting. Like I said, it was for hand model.
- 27:15Had the, the addition was basically, please don't, you know,
- 27:18no long nails, no tattoos.
- 27:20Did the interview with them. And they called me back that next day.
- 27:24And was like, we'd like to book you.
- 27:26So I showed up at the set and, you know, it's,
- 27:32It's toy play. It's stop and go animation, what they're doing there.
- 27:35And so I walk in and I'm just, it's toys everywhere.
- 27:39And I'm not quite knowing what I got myself into. And I go to one of the stage.
- 27:43And so this company does like, they get contracts from like Viacom or from Netflix or whoever.
- 27:50And if there's a film, they cut a short out of that film and we animate that with toys.
- 27:56And who knew that there's a big thing? because kids that play with toys now,
- 28:01they like to watch the show and play with the toys at the same time.
- 28:06They like to watch you play with the toys as they watch the real episode.
- 28:08So the episode's in a corner and our thing is on a big screen.
- 28:13So it was an episode of Paw Patrol and I get on set and they're like,
- 28:18and they built these massive sets.
- 28:20So everything that's in the episode, we have to build and make sure the set looks exactly the same.
- 28:25So they give us the toys that we need And you're just moving around stuff,
- 28:29but it's being recorded. And it's, it's, it's amazing what they do.
- 28:32Six months later, I'm still there and I'm a production assistant now.
- 28:36So yeah, yeah. It's, it's a lot of fun.
- 28:39They're doing big things and it is, it's dope. Yeah.
- 28:43That's the other thing that I was going to say to me, just being a head model
- 28:46is such, it's such, it's like such the cheesiest, like it is so weird to describe
- 28:55just how fun it is being a head model.
- 28:57Especially when you... It's a weird thing to say, like, being a good head model.
- 29:00Right. But, like, when you, like...
- 29:03Grab the cookie, you grab the cookie, and they're like, oh, my God.
- 29:06Yeah, right? Look at them. That was perfect. Yeah.
- 29:09They're like, wonderful job, Rossi. That was so good. And so,
- 29:12and you love it. Hey, you love shopping. You be like, oh, my God. Let me see.
- 29:15I'll be, I'll be, like, every time I wrap up a little hand bottle,
- 29:18I'm going to look at my hand. Yeah. Yeah.
- 29:20Okay. Yeah. I guess he's all right. I didn't know.
- 29:23Yeah. I didn't know. Yeah. And after that, I'm like, shoot, scrubbing my hands,
- 29:28you know, lotion all the time. As soon as I get on set, you know,
- 29:30making sure my hands are clean, lotion, nails cut.
- 29:33It's a whole thing. It's a whole thing. It really is. It's like that movie Zoolander
- 29:38or whatever. I was talking about that the other day.
- 29:40He's all like, yeah, you got to get those things in his shirt now.
- 29:43Right, right. Yeah. Get a hyperbolic time chamber to keep these things.
- 29:47I might be 80, but these hands are still going to look 30. I was watching an episode of Seinfeld.
- 29:52And there was one of the, on one of the episodes, George Costanza,
- 29:56someone said he had really nice hands.
- 29:58So they tell him he could be a hand model so he's like looking at his hands
- 30:03he's he's wearing these oven mitts so that you know nothing happens to his hands
- 30:07he gets backstage at something.
- 30:09There's an iron and someone trips him and he falls forward and burns his hands
- 30:13on the iron and that's pretty much it so i was telling you know telling people
- 30:16it's kind of like that it's kind of funny because you don't realize you can't
- 30:19do that yeah you want to make sure that
- 30:22your hands are good yeah you know yeah i'm like
- 30:24i just really be smoking weed i just be rolling blitz with these things and
- 30:28i'm like if you say these are worth a
- 30:30million bucks i guess i'm telling you yeah yeah
- 30:34so it's a lot of fun and then so how is it now being
- 30:38a production system because i think that's something that a lot of people don't realize
- 30:41is up here in
- 30:43northern california like that's where the career work is yes you know it's behind
- 30:48the camera yes i mean being a part of the camera is cool it's great yeah it
- 30:53does a lot for you but that being behind the camera production assistant work
- 30:57being able to to to move up to yes whatever department it is that you want you
- 31:02have the opportunity because nothing here.
- 31:04I mean, you could go to film school, but I don't really think anything here
- 31:07is like, once you get it, like once you get into position where you're like
- 31:10production assistant, you're like, I am at film school.
- 31:13Yeah, right. I'm on the job training. I'm interning. You know what I mean?
- 31:16And so with the production assistant, yeah, there's a lot to go to it because
- 31:21I have to make sure that these little characters that I'm, you know,
- 31:25getting ready for stage, that they're, if I need to dial them,
- 31:29like put something on them so that maybe there's a scene like with Netflix,
- 31:33Netflix is really they don't like to see a lot of hands
- 31:36we did Hot Wheels so at Hot Wheels they don't want
- 31:38to see a lot of hands you got to be creative so thank goodness
- 31:41there's a director on set you know and so we
- 31:45had magnets so that we can move the toys and so if you're with if you're doing
- 31:50Hot Wheels and they have a company Mattel it's not just Netflix it's someone
- 31:56else's you know IP or whatever you want to call it right so you have to respect
- 32:01that so certain cars that the company gives us.
- 32:04You know, you want to make sure that the hands aren't seen.
- 32:07So that was the first time that I was taught how to use magnets,
- 32:10long sticks with magnets glued to the end. And so they give us the whole track too.
- 32:14So then you put them under the track, make the cars move. And it's just for
- 32:17maybe a two minute short, you know, but it blows up when it gets online. Kids love it.
- 32:23So learning that, but yeah, what I do is make sure the characters get to set,
- 32:26make sure if I need to put a dowel on them, I put a dowel on them to get them for a water scene.
- 32:31Like today, we wrapped on a water scene water scenes are really
- 32:34hard to do yeah but viacom loves slime
- 32:38and water for the kids to see so it's a whole situation and so you're figuring
- 32:42out how do i dial this thing to this to make this work so yeah so moving doing
- 32:46that now so i'll hand model plus i'll take care of the the characters and make
- 32:50sure that they're ready for set okay yeah it's it's a lot of fun like i go to
- 32:54work and play with toys all day.
- 32:56Yeah big kid and get paid for and get paid for and get
- 32:59paid for and get paid for that's all that's always lovely yeah just to go
- 33:01yeah go for being a big kid that's what acting is
- 33:04oh it's it's great and everyone there everyone's so
- 33:07creative like these people are talented they are
- 33:10talented oh my god the energy that
- 33:13be a movie set when everybody's working everybody knows
- 33:16what their what their role is right job is it right they never
- 33:19nobody's jobs steps on anybody no no
- 33:23you know i'm saying but it's all such a moving part it's great and
- 33:26as long as there's good craft service on oh my god dude
- 33:29these these people have we have a kitchen yes we
- 33:32have a stove a refrigerator we have everything in
- 33:35the studio there's a person that takes care of buying all our food so you put
- 33:39things that you want on a board like this company you know dm is amazing i'm
- 33:44working for some amazing people and see that that's the that's the thing too
- 33:47with when people say like you want to join SAG because being SAG is very professional
- 33:52right but it it really doesn't.
- 33:54Matter you know say this professional is professional yes
- 33:57and so you can get the same experience being SAG yes
- 34:00working on a non-union absolutely being treated
- 34:03like how you oh oh yeah great great I
- 34:06mean I've I've never worked with people and
- 34:09worked on a set where people care about you you
- 34:12know I mean everyone's good but on this set in particular it's
- 34:15just the people that i work with i'm looking forward to going to work every morning
- 34:19i'm looking forward to seeing them and how do you go into a
- 34:21place where you're getting ready to do toy play yeah and film
- 34:25to where you're angry or upset we you know
- 34:28what i mean and it's you know it's it's toy play but it's a serious thing we
- 34:31have clients who have to make sure there's a deadline you know to get the the
- 34:34production done and and wrapped up so everyone plays their parts and it's it's
- 34:39just great i'm so happy that i'm there i i love this company nice shout out
- 34:43to dm studios shout out the DM Studios show.
- 34:47So now let's get into the world of.
- 34:52Podcasting our thing our thing our new thing our
- 34:55new thing how long you've been doing podcasting let's see
- 34:58i've probably been doing podcasting for i'll
- 35:01say we'll say we'll say three years we'll
- 35:05say three years maybe four years but i'll give it a good three years yeah
- 35:08okay three years yeah so maybe the podcast
- 35:11that you do yourself yes it's called rossi's clubhouse yes it's up there for
- 35:16people to see right now yes yeah rossi's clubhouse a sacramento-based podcast
- 35:21yes whoa whoa no sound effects i love this thank you you can add it into the thing.
- 35:33So how long you been doing i was on rossi's clubhouse yeah you were my first
- 35:38guest so excited so nervous is he going to respond back to me please say buddy's going to come through,
- 35:43and we we just figured out that was a year and a half ago so and that's that's
- 35:47when i started at Rossi's Clubhouse about a year and a half ago.
- 35:51And thanks to you, I have to say, you had this networking event.
- 35:55And so, and I remember you used to do that every third or fourth Wednesday of
- 35:59the month. Something like that.
- 36:02DJ, cameras, backdrop, I mean, drinks.
- 36:06I mean, everyone showed up. Remember, oh, it was great. We had SAG up there.
- 36:12Yeah, I was like, that's the only place you would go when you would see like
- 36:16a SAG baker. and you know somebody giving out information about SAG and then
- 36:19right next to you can order a shot and hit it. No seriously.
- 36:24DJ's playing with.
- 36:28Red Carpid. I mean it was it was great.
- 36:32Oh my gosh. It was great.
- 36:36It was really good and I met Zach who had the studio and he was there new in town.
- 36:44I remember he showed up and we end up
- 36:46talking i remember we talked for a long time and after that
- 36:49he had called me up and was like hey i saw your your show
- 36:52movie lovers unite what will it take for me to get you to leave
- 36:55them come with me and let's do something well not
- 36:58not not gonna leave movie lovers tonight but we can do our own project
- 37:01and so that's how i hooked up with zach and he had a studio and
- 37:04i remember we didn't know what we're gonna do so the first one
- 37:07was like oh i'll just do movie reviews because we were kind of i didn't know
- 37:10yeah and i remember yum's awkward came in and when
- 37:14he came in after we did that interview we was like
- 37:16that's it that's what we're gonna do we're going to do interviews and
- 37:20and thank you yum's awkward for you know giving us direction and so the show
- 37:25popped off like that i think zach and i were together for i don't know maybe
- 37:29six seven months yeah and he got his thing going and i took the show and just
- 37:35put it online added it to you know all major you know,
- 37:40podcasting platforms and yeah. Yeah.
- 37:44So how is it with.
- 37:46Interview with people what is your process like you
- 37:49very like let me take notes make sure I hit all these
- 37:52talking you know yeah at first I wanted
- 37:55to do that and I remember Zach and I would go back and forth because he was
- 37:59like let's have a conversation but if you've never done interviews you don't
- 38:03you know what I mean to me I wanted to come and make sure I knew everything
- 38:06that you did yeah and so I know something about you so my process is to if I'm
- 38:11interviewing an artist with music,
- 38:13like a rap artist or an R&B artist. I'll listen to their music for about a week.
- 38:18And then the day of the interview, that's all I'm doing is listen to your music all morning long.
- 38:23I'm finding out things about you. I want to know every album that you did when
- 38:27you first started so that I know the artist.
- 38:29And then I'll just think of questions
- 38:30asked, you know, things that are interesting that I want to know.
- 38:33But I do a lot of research into how to interview, what are good questions to
- 38:37ask to kind of give me a guideline and go off on that. And then from there, we have a conversation.
- 38:43Yeah. Yeah. I noticed that because when I left your podcast and whatever,
- 38:47I was just walking like, like Oprah.
- 38:56It's not like she knew anything about me, but she was able to get so much information out of me.
- 39:01I was like, one thing I always talk about, I was like, I don't really try to talk about,
- 39:08family and feed to that point of view, but I was all like,
- 39:11you had just you just got me open i was all like do whoop whoop and then they
- 39:14said i was like you were great yeah i was like i was like yeah i was like she
- 39:18got me open i was all right you were great i'll never forget the funniest thing
- 39:22that you said is i asked you about,
- 39:25heckling heckling that was got me oh my god and you said you said your dad,
- 39:30your dad and i remember that was so funny because
- 39:33you were just great you you you turn it into like a comedy act
- 39:36you know yeah yeah my mom called me up too sorry i know
- 39:39i'm sorry well stop breaking him
- 39:42that was great that was great yeah that was
- 39:45great but no that was that was dope i'm glad to see it's still
- 39:48still growing steve i saw you had shelly shelly and then you had um shelly k
- 39:51booker saw her on your show that's super cool i saw her on your show and she
- 39:57was so funny and i reached out to her and she was she was just great she gave
- 40:03me this whole bio and told of course of course it It was, I love Buddy, he's great, da-da-da.
- 40:08And she came on a show, and we're like really good friends.
- 40:11We actually were working on a podcast together that we wanted to do.
- 40:15And it would come about- I think that would be cool.
- 40:18We had meetings on it, we would do Zoom calls on it, but what ended up happening
- 40:23was, Shelly's really busy. Shelly has, I mean, seriously.
- 40:27Shelly's a teacher on set she does this yeah we
- 40:30haven't had time and she's like I know we're still I'm like Shelly I
- 40:33know because I got busy too yeah but we were
- 40:36we were gonna work together and I go to I've gone to her show Shelly's just
- 40:39great but she is busy she's funny as hell she messaged me like she had messaged
- 40:43me like just to catch up with me or whatever I'm like yeah just chill it's like
- 40:46what you up there's like I'm just over here hanging out with Scarlett Johansson
- 40:48on the set of Jurassic World yeah right that's right that's right yeah what
- 40:53are you talking about right now Like leave me.
- 40:58She's like, yeah, just let you know, I'm going to be in England for a while.
- 41:01I'm going, I'm going overseas and I'm going to be working on a film Jurassic
- 41:04World. We're shooting over there.
- 41:06And I'm like, do your thing. You know, she's like, so the podcast thing, I'm like, girl, yeah.
- 41:13And she's busy. She's busy. And she's, she helps out a lot too.
- 41:16She'll give me some pointers.
- 41:18And, you know, she also is like, you know, you should be working on sets as
- 41:22a production assistant.
- 41:23You should be doing this and then i and then i end up doing it
- 41:26and i remember hitting her up and saying i did it she's like you should i'm
- 41:30so happy for you that's great so i love you shelly love you yeah yeah shout
- 41:34out to shelly and then you also have the the the podcast movie lovers movie
- 41:39lovers unite yes shout out to john de gregorio he's the host of movie lovers
- 41:44unite he's had this podcast,
- 41:46gosh i think he said for six years before i came along and uh we do movie reviews
- 41:51we do interviews Shout out to Matt Barnes.
- 41:54Thank you so much for giving us that interview. That was the highlight of the show.
- 41:59But yeah, John is great. And we've been working together for about three years.
- 42:04And I started out as just someone that just came on the show,
- 42:07just as a guest, moved up to doing a co-host.
- 42:10And thanks to him, he's the one that was like, you need to have your own segment.
- 42:15So we did the spinoff Rossi Talks. And so that's with Movie Lovers United.
- 42:20And that's the other one that I do. and just yeah yeah
- 42:23absolutely and so oh sorry i didn't mean to cut you
- 42:26off i also want to say shout out to uh don tucker to
- 42:29jason nichols to elijah barkless they're my co-hosts for our video game segment
- 42:34and you guys will be saying that soon yes thank you so with movie lovers unite
- 42:39that's more of a collaborative not necessarily not that ross's clubhouse was
- 42:43it but yeah well as long as i'd be in front of the camera yeah oh yeah more
- 42:46of a collaborative yeah What are some of the things that you.
- 42:49Like pros and cons, that you've taken away from being collaborative,
- 42:53but then also basically doing it on your own? Let's see. I...
- 42:58I enjoyed having someone there with me. I felt safe with John.
- 43:02I felt comfortable with John. I didn't know if I could sit by myself.
- 43:05I was really scared about sitting by myself. And I remember the first time I
- 43:09did that was the spinoff Aussie talks.
- 43:12And if you go back and see the first, you know, show that I did the first couple
- 43:16of shows that I did review in a couple of movies, I sped through that so fast.
- 43:20I was talking so fast. I was trying to get done. Cause it's trying to get off camera.
- 43:23I didn't know if I could do it. So that was the thing was I enjoy that.
- 43:27I have a network of people that works with me and shout out to unfiltered studios.
- 43:34That's a network that we're under.
- 43:36And so this, it's a network that has a lot of podcasts under them.
- 43:39So we're, we're with them.
- 43:40And so, but John and I are, you know, our thing, we just under them.
- 43:44And it's great to have a network of people where if I needed anything or whatever.
- 43:49They can help me out with that. With Rossi's Clubhouse, it's me.
- 43:53It's me by myself. John does produce sometimes. times
- 43:56i credit him as a director at times but
- 43:59that's me sitting there doing this i look for the talent and
- 44:03and they still help me out like they'll do the shorts for me
- 44:05they still do all of that for me editing they
- 44:09do all that for me i just find the the artist and i
- 44:12sit there and direct the show myself and will produce myself
- 44:15nice yeah nice nice you're able to take take
- 44:19all this from both yeah so you get the best of both words yeah exactly
- 44:23you're able to take the cons away from absolutely take all.
- 44:26The pros and stuff like that absolutely nice nice
- 44:28and i saw like the movie lovers united was it was
- 44:31i won't it was number one yeah we're let's
- 44:34see this this week we are number one in tv
- 44:37and film review number five in film
- 44:40review and so that was the latest numbers on uh
- 44:43good plots okay so yeah we we tend to stay up
- 44:45in the top 10 you know but we hit that number one number
- 44:48three so much you know so we
- 44:52have good content people enjoy the interaction between
- 44:55john and i plus we network with other podcasts so like
- 44:58if i'm busy with rossi's clubhouse john has
- 45:01other people that he can network in that can fill in for me or he'll do
- 45:04you know something with some friends that he
- 45:07has you know so we have a group that we will work with so
- 45:10if i'm not there he has someone that he can still sit with okay you know but
- 45:14we just have to make sure because we're sponsored now yeah we make sure that
- 45:17at least we sit together at least two times a month you know that people can
- 45:21see us together because they love for us to be together okay yeah congratulations
- 45:25on the sponsorship yeah so what was i mean i don't know if you dive into that too much but like.
- 45:30What was that process like from going on the podcast to now being able to have sponsorship?
- 45:36Because that's one of the things with so many podcasts out there nowadays.
- 45:38It's like, how do I monetize it? How do I monetize it?
- 45:41Of course, it's fun to sit down here talking to people, doing whatever it is that you want to do.
- 45:47But eventually, you do want to get to that. Oh, of course. You want monetization.
- 45:50Oh, absolutely. Yeah, you work for that. It's great. I mean,
- 45:53we've come a long way. I mean, to where we didn't have any sponsors and then
- 45:57we'd get, you know, one sponsor and it didn't last that long.
- 46:00One thing I do want to say is people think that you have to have a certain number
- 46:03of followers or you have to have a certain number of people that watch your
- 46:07show. It's not quite like that.
- 46:08If you have a good show and your name is out there, like we were able to get
- 46:12movie lovers out there, people invest in you.
- 46:15You know, Matt Barnes is not going to come sit with us. just you know what
- 46:18i mean like it's something that goes you know that where they've seen
- 46:21us interview other people and then we can get an interview like
- 46:24that but those things help having him
- 46:27on the show helped people want to you know invest in
- 46:30us and you don't give a sponsorship yeah but it
- 46:33took a long time it took years to get a steady sponsorship that
- 46:36we have now it's a climb yeah you know it's in
- 46:39youtube you have to have a certain amount of hours that you
- 46:42have to even consistently you have
- 46:45to consistently have that so it's a
- 46:48climb but it's doable you know and especially
- 46:50if you're good and you and you have steady content yeah okay definitely keep
- 46:55keep that in mind yes yes okay cool so what we're gonna do right here now is
- 47:02play a game that i like to call the malrush one what people don't know about
- 47:05you because i say you you multi-talented You do so much from the hand modeling, acting, producing.
- 47:11The podcasting, multiple podcasting.
- 47:13But what people don't know about you is that you're a secret.
- 47:15I don't know if it's a secret or not, but you're a gamer.
- 47:18Oh, gosh, I'm a huge gamer. Huge gamer. Huge gamer. Okay. Yes.
- 47:21So for this special edition of the Mount Rushmore.
- 47:29Okay, cool. So yeah, so for this edition of the Mount Rushmore,
- 47:32we're going to do your top four video game genres. Okay.
- 47:37All right. I love horror. I love shooters.
- 47:41Oh, I love role-playing games. And I guess action games will kind of be like shooters.
- 47:48So action games. Those are my four favorites. So I'm pretty much across the board.
- 47:52Okay um i don't mind online
- 47:55games but i'm more of a single player gamer
- 47:59until i discovered the division two and when
- 48:01i discovered that and realized i was like i'd go
- 48:04to the to the game store and i'm like it's online i don't want
- 48:07to play online the last time i played online was call of duty and
- 48:10every time i would respawn they shoot me in the head yeah
- 48:13i'd respawn they shoot me ahead i'm not trying to do that yeah yeah
- 48:16yeah but this game was so good i'm like okay i'm gonna do it
- 48:19and i fell in love with playing it online met met
- 48:21met a guy that i play online with and he
- 48:24helped me throughout the whole game because i was kind of levels below him
- 48:27and we'd sit up and be one in the morning and we
- 48:30just tackle this map and it's such a fun game so
- 48:33that's the only game i will play online okay cool yes
- 48:36i'm gonna do i'm gonna do another now rush one okay we did so we'll
- 48:39do your top four video game consoles okay oh gosh
- 48:42playstation is that's that's where
- 48:45i play on that's that's that's mine i love playstation i
- 48:49was like a kid in a candy store when christmas came
- 48:52and i was presented with the playstation 5 that i begged
- 48:54for four years to have yeah so i love the playstation 5
- 48:58let's see the the playstation 2 was really good i thought that was a good console
- 49:02and console and that came out the gamecube gamecube is great you know there's
- 49:07not too many games that i played on the gamecube there was two and they were
- 49:12the best games i I couldn't believe that Nintendo had these type of games.
- 49:15But they were great. Oh, Dreamcast.
- 49:18Dreamcast. And then, of course, Xbox. Okay. Yes. Yeah, yeah,
- 49:21yeah. Yeah. I was definitely an Xbox growing up. Okay. I had the Xbox 360. Yes.
- 49:26The Death Ring. The Red Death Ring. I was like, wasn't that?
- 49:29Did you get the Death Ring? Oh, my word.
- 49:31Especially when I came, when you come home from school, fresh off the phone.
- 49:34Oh, my gosh. You know, it's like me some Halo.
- 49:36Right. And then you press that. They do it. I'm like, oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.
- 49:40My kid loved the Xbox. And I remember when he got the death ring And I remember
- 49:45being pissed Because I'm thinking, what did you do to it?
- 49:48It just happened But it happened to me too And that was the worst thing about
- 49:53the 360 Was the death ring And I'm such a gamer, I remember panicking Just panicking Turn it off.
- 50:03Yes, the worst The worst, yeah,
- 50:08I played Halo But I'm more like, what's I got? NBA 2K That was all I was playing. I'm a 2K guy.
- 50:14When online first started, being popular and stuff like that, yeah, I was killing it.
- 50:18I was... If I knew there was a career in video games, I would have made me some
- 50:24bank. I get you. Absolutely get you. I like the...
- 50:28Remember the arcade-y basketball games that came out?
- 50:31I can't remember the name, but it spun off the rappers when they had the fighting
- 50:36games. Remember the rappers would come out?
- 50:3850 Cent had, he had his game, but they also had that fighting game. I can't think of Def Jam.
- 50:44Well, there was also an arcade-y basketball game. And it was so much fun.
- 50:49I had a great time with that. And I think that was on a PlayStation 2.
- 50:52It was the best. They need to bring that back out. If I could just put a lie
- 50:55from me, remember. It was an NBA Jam, was it? NBA Jam.
- 50:58NBA Jam 2-1-2, yeah Oh my god,
- 51:04so fun So fun, yes NBA Jam I think they should have it at the coin up In the
- 51:10old side Yeah, you can play them at the arcade But at home,
- 51:16Yeah, yeah, yeah They would do these with the big hands Yeah,
- 51:19yeah, NBA Jam Thank you No worries, that's what we're here for NBA Jam Yeah, that's funny.
- 51:28So we're going to wrap up this here episode of the Yeah Buddy podcast.
