- 0:04Are you part of the 78%? Almost four out of five
- 0:08Americans. I'm telling you guys, we are
- 0:11heading towards a major catastrophe in this country.
- 0:15Are we? Are you, am I part of the 78%?
- 0:19What is going on with the gold price and silver price?
- 0:23All time highs, I'm going to call it.
- 0:26OK, How do you feel about this? We're going to dig in to some
- 0:29interesting components of what's going on right now.
- 0:32Are we indeed in all time high territory for gold?
- 0:36You know, gold is the granddaddy, the big poobah of
- 0:41the precious metals. And what is it telling us And
- 0:44what are some unbelievable facts about this unbelievable rally
- 0:49that we're having in gold and silver that can indicate to us
- 0:53that there could be a lot, lot, lot, lot more to come.
- 0:58We're going to talk about that. And I have two massive warnings
- 1:01for you. I hate, I really hate that I
- 1:04have to do this, but we've got big warnings.
- 1:06Thank you, Todd, for that super chat.
- 1:08Wow, I feel super happy. What a way to start.
- 1:11Thank you. Thank you for being here.
- 1:14Did I forget to tell you? You're in the basement?
- 1:18It doesn't get much lower than this, guys.
- 1:20We can only go up from here and we're having all time highs.
- 1:25We'll wait back to that. You.
- 1:27Yes, you are the most important part of Ron's basement.
- 1:29That's why right in their infinite wisdom, they called it
- 1:32YouTube because it's all about you.
- 1:34So thank you for being here. Let's dig into some crazy
- 1:38components to the gold and silver rally.
- 1:41Are we indeed at all time highs? Let's run out.
- 1:44Let's do it. Let's do it.
- 1:46Let's go check the gold price and the silver price.
- 1:49And thank you again, Todd, for that super, super chat, super
- 1:53appreciated. We're going to go out the Pinbex
- 1:57channel sponsor Pinbex and let's see here we had gold up 1053
- 2:04when I loaded this this morning. Let's press the magic Pinbex
- 2:07button and see what we got. Whoa, OK, I knew it was up.
- 2:13Gold's up $22.00 per oz, $2443 per oz.
- 2:17Silver $30.85 a couple. I was talking with bald guy
- 2:23money this morning. What a great guy.
- 2:24Super smart guy, really a genuine good person.
- 2:28It's no wonder bald guy money, and I know a lot of you follow
- 2:31him on YouTube has such a vibrant and growing channel, but
- 2:36we were talking about what's going on and, and I'm going to
- 2:38share with you a little bit of what we talked about.
- 2:40And I'm certainly not trying to put words into his mouth, but
- 2:45this gold price, this gold rally and this is actually very, very
- 2:49exciting guys. Super exciting for those of us
- 2:52who invest in silver and gold. We were talking about the fact
- 2:55that really this massive rally take us.
- 2:59I'm going to remind you, I promise I'll only say it three
- 3:02more times during the course of the live stream.
- 3:03We're at all time highs for gold or we're knocking on the door.
- 3:08OK, silver, I heard Chris Marcus say this in an interview last
- 3:12night, right? Silver's only been around above
- 3:15$30.00 an ounce for very short periods of time.
- 3:18Pull up a long term chart and look how often over the last 50
- 3:23years the price of silver's been above $30.
- 3:26I mean, I'm, I'm saying this myself, I believe that we are
- 3:30very close to what for all intents and purposes will be an
- 3:34all time high in the silver price.
- 3:36And you know my theory on that baby, once we breakthrough 33
- 3:40dollars, once we breakthrough 30, how do you feel about it
- 3:44once we get into that $3435 range for silver?
- 3:48It's Katie bar the door. But all this is happening with
- 3:52zero interest in the West. I mean pretty much zero interest
- 3:57in the West and bald guy money. And I were talking about that
- 4:01this morning and I heard what I forget her name, Gwen Preston
- 4:05talking about it. Great interview she did.
- 4:08This is all because of China and India, right?
- 4:11In China, the Chinese people, right, they got burned in the
- 4:15stock market. They got burned in the
- 4:17residential real estate market. They don't trust banks.
- 4:20They don't trust paper money, right?
- 4:23So what are they doing? Everybody wants to talk about
- 4:26the Chinese central banks. The Chinese central bank, it
- 4:29buys all the gold and they are and central banks are buying all
- 4:32the gold. But guess who else?
- 4:34All the Chinese citizens are also buying massive amounts of
- 4:38gold and they're encouraging them to pivot to silver.
- 4:42I've even heard reports that that's going on in India as
- 4:46well. They're trying to pivot the
- 4:47Indian people to silver. Now I know I got in big trouble.
- 4:51I got, we got, we got less basement to others.
- 4:53We got attacked because we pointed out a simple fact that
- 4:57if only 70% of the Chinese people, only 1.4 billion people,
- 5:02if only 70% of them were to buy one ounce of silver, they can
- 5:05wipe out the whole year's supply, which is around a
- 5:08billion oz. 70% of 1.4 billion would be 980 million.
- 5:14So yeah, if they bought 980 million oz, bye, bye.
- 5:20But what's crazy about this rally and exciting?
- 5:24And this is good news, OK? Maybe at first glance, you know,
- 5:27you ever hear like, you get some news and it's kind of like, oh,
- 5:29that's bad, but it winds up being good.
- 5:31Well, this is bad news that turns into good news, OK.
- 5:35Because think about it, guys. This massive rally that we are
- 5:40in right now, this could be the early summer rally like we
- 5:43called last week for silver and gold.
- 5:46It's happening with no interest in America.
- 5:50Nobody cares. Crickets, right?
- 5:53Maybe a few new people are are catching on.
- 5:56When people start to pay attention to gold and silver,
- 6:00when they start to see the metal hitting these all time highs,
- 6:02when they start to see silver just rocketing forward, right
- 6:07when they start. And here's the other sleeper
- 6:09that I don't hear anybody talking about.
- 6:12Sure, the big mining stock, the big gold and silver mining
- 6:15stocks, the big boys, right, the bigger, even the mid size
- 6:18companies, companies like Fortuna mining, sponsor of Ron's
- 6:22basement OK, are doing well. Their stocks have done pretty
- 6:26darn well over the last six months.
- 6:28The reality is the other mining parts of the mining sector, the
- 6:31juniors, the developers, the explorers, right?
- 6:35They're they're they're like a depression level prices.
- 6:38So I just want you to think, because this has everything to
- 6:41do with the price of silver and gold, Wall Street can only
- 6:45ignore massive profits by the big mining companies for so
- 6:49long. And while the big precious metal
- 6:51mining stocks have done pretty well over the last, what, 4-5,
- 6:54six months, right? They've not done as well as they
- 6:57should have, right? I mean, again, companies like
- 7:01Fortuna mining their stocks up quite a bit so far this year.
- 7:04All the big guys, Barrick, Newmont, they're all, but
- 7:08they're not doing as well as they should.
- 7:09And I'm going to tell you on the junior sector, the developers,
- 7:12the explorers, companies like First Mining Gold, also a
- 7:15channel sponsor, a stock that I own, right, Big two development
- 7:20projects in Canada, one in Q1 in Ontario.
- 7:24Those, those companies, those developers, the people that have
- 7:28the future supply of gold, right, they can be fed into the
- 7:32pipeline. They're like at depression level
- 7:34prices, all of them, right. I mean, they have barely moved,
- 7:39barely moved. So the key here is that if if
- 7:42attention comes back on two different areas on the physical
- 7:46metal in the West, but also into the mining stocks, it could be a
- 7:51self feeding frenzy. It could be a situation where,
- 7:55you know, people start to say, Oh my gosh, these are mine.
- 7:57And I'm telling you these junior don't make any financial
- 8:00decisions based on anything that I say.
- 8:02OK, I have been wrong in the past.
- 8:04I've been right too. Check me, go back and look at
- 8:07the company I made many videos about four years ago, Antero
- 8:11Resources, when it was $2.00 per share.
- 8:14Right when I feel strongly about something, I will share it with
- 8:17you. But I will also tell you that I
- 8:19could be wrong. There was a period of time where
- 8:21I really I was really into JC Penney stock.
- 8:24But I'm telling you at the C19 crisis hadn't happened, Joe
- 8:27Saltao would have made that into a great company.
- 8:30That's besides the point. I'm talking about gold and
- 8:33silver right now. I feel strongly, I mean these
- 8:36mining, these junior mining stocks, if they get any
- 8:39attention, it could be explosive and the same could be with the
- 8:44with the metals themselves. Because guys, listen to what the
- 8:47coin, the big coin dealers are saying, listen to what the
- 8:50people that sell bullion in the United States, in the Western
- 8:54countries, they're all talking that like the, I mean, they're
- 8:57doing OK, right? Some of them are doing well
- 8:59'cause they, they really provide a great service like channel
- 9:02sponsor Pimbex Pi MB EX. But the reality is that there's
- 9:06been almost no big wave of interest in the metals.
- 9:11We know what happened and then we'll, we'll move on.
- 9:13I got two big warnings for you. We got to talk about surprise,
- 9:17surprise, surprise. Gomer Pyle opened his big mouth
- 9:20yesterday. The, I don't know, Jerome
- 9:22Powell, we're talking about him as well, but when we get just a
- 9:28little bit of interest, oh, remember, let's go back in the,
- 9:32let's go back in The Time Machine.
- 9:34Do you remember? It was 14 1/2 months ago we had
- 9:38a little bit of a banking crisis in the United States, Silicon
- 9:41Valley Bank and whatever those other words were, right, it was
- 9:45a big banking crisis. It got fixed by the Fed.
- 9:48They magically they printed some paper money and papered over the
- 9:51problem, the bank term funding program.
- 9:54Anyway, during that period, you couldn't find silver and gold.
- 9:58That's when premiums, that's when people were paying double
- 10:02for these things. Let me show you.
- 10:04This is the silver piece of the day.
- 10:07Look at that. That came from Jake.
- 10:10Oh, look, it's an American Silver Eagle.
- 10:12You can buy these for like what, 5 dollars, $6 over spot right
- 10:16now during the during the banking crisis 14 1/2 months
- 10:21ago, people were paying like double, they were paying like
- 10:2420-30 dollar premiums above spot.
- 10:27So it will happen, right? But what the good news is this,
- 10:31let's wrap this all up. Let's wrap it up in a nice
- 10:34little package. Basement dwellers.
- 10:36We've got near record prices right now in silver and gold,
- 10:42OK? And it's occurred with no
- 10:45support from the wealthiest country in the world.
- 10:49So just imagine, use your imagination.
- 10:52I know you have a powerful brain up there.
- 10:54The basement dwellers. You are a unique breed, OK.
- 10:57And it's a big deal. You're here.
- 10:58Thank you. Don't forget, give this a thumbs
- 10:59up. That helps get it out to more
- 11:01people. And it feels good to press,
- 11:03Excuse me, the thumbs up button. We have this opportunity.
- 11:10I mean, look at what's going on with with the with the level of
- 11:14metals in the vaults at the COMEX in the LBMA.
- 11:17Look at what's going on. Let's go look at what, let's
- 11:19look at what's going on in up. There's the Rawlings baseball
- 11:25experience. I went there yesterday with my
- 11:26daughter Evelyn. That is a cool place.
- 11:28I'll tell you a little bit more about that later.
- 11:31But let's go look at let's look at what's going on with silver.
- 11:36It's a we got to say hi to our friend and someday I know he
- 11:41will come in the basement and we'll see him there.
- 11:45He is right there. The Oriental ghost.
- 11:47I always say Shanghai ghost, which is wrong.
- 11:49It's Oriental ghost. And let's see if they're letting
- 11:53them put data out. Here we go, right.
- 11:55Look at what's going on, $34.66 at the Shanghai Gold Exchange,
- 12:00the Shanghai Futures Exchange, $34.69.
- 12:04That is silver, OK, in U.S. dollars.
- 12:09OK, so you've got, you got the vaults at the big exchanges,
- 12:12they're being drained. You've got the Chinese paying
- 12:15$4.00 an ounce more cash for silver and you have no interest.
- 12:23I'm just, I'm going to say it one last time as we wrap our
- 12:26heads around this, if we get even Rick Rule says it.
- 12:30I've heard, I love when Rick Rule.
- 12:32I, I think this is one of the smartest.
- 12:34This is 3D chess. This is why you're here, right?
- 12:37We aren't in the baby pool. We aren't in the shallow end.
- 12:40We're in the deep end, right? And that's where Rick Rule is.
- 12:43He's floating around on his floaty, right.
- 12:45He looks right above the surface.
- 12:47He peels layers of the onion back.
- 12:49I know you want that too. And Rick Rule says this, and it
- 12:52makes it very simple, but it makes sense, right?
- 12:55We don't need, and he said this about silver, but I think it
- 12:59applies to gold as well. We don't need silver to be loved
- 13:02in the United States, right? For it to have a great price
- 13:06increase. We just needed to be a little
- 13:08teeny bit less hated. And it's true, guys, it's true.
- 13:12Now I got to give you, let's shift gears.
- 13:15I hate to have to do this. It really does stink that we
- 13:18have to do this. But it's important you hear this
- 13:20and it's two big warnings, number one.
- 13:23Number one, OK, I got an e-mail this morning.
- 13:26If be careful, be careful, silver and gold investors.
- 13:31I don't give financial advice, but I'll give you my honest
- 13:35opinion. When I think I see scams, I'm
- 13:39laying in bed this morning, I get an e-mail from another
- 13:41YouTube. He says, hey man, I love your
- 13:43content, you're doing great. I just want to tell you, you're
- 13:46not making enough money off your sponsorships.
- 13:48You're getting ripped off. He's like, you should consider
- 13:51and I'm not going to divulge this person's name or the
- 13:53company that he referred to 'cause there's several companies
- 13:56that do this. But you should check out this
- 13:58gold IRA company and join their, let them sponsor them.
- 14:02Let join their affiliate program because of this and I was
- 14:05shocked when I heard this he said because because if you if
- 14:10you refer people to this company, they'll pay you either
- 14:14was up to or they will pay you 10% of what other what people
- 14:20convert their Iras to gold or silver, they'll pay you Ron 10%
- 14:24of the amount. And then he did some real
- 14:26complex math for me. I appreciate it.
- 14:28He said, So that means that if you refer somebody and they
- 14:31convert $100,000 of an IRA into gold and silver, you'll get a
- 14:36$10,000 Commission. Oh, great, great.
- 14:41Warning, warning, warning. OK, guys, warning.
- 14:45So then I went out and looked at this company, right?
- 14:47And I'd heard of them and guess what?
- 14:49They have a, they also have a celebrity endorser.
- 14:52I won't say his name, but it's a person that you would recognize
- 14:56who used to play sports back in the 80s and 90s.
- 14:59Anyway, and I'm thinking and it and it all, and they've got all
- 15:03these things on their website like, oh, we're 4.8 out of five
- 15:06stars and we're great. Let me tell you something right
- 15:09now. OK, Let me tell you something,
- 15:12OK, if I what? Susie.
- 15:18Oh, OK, cool. 100 thumbs up. Thank you, guys.
- 15:20I'll ring the bells in a little bit.
- 15:22I'm on something, but I'm warning you, OK, if that
- 15:25company's going to pay me 10 grand, OK, as a referral
- 15:28Commission out of 100,000 that gets referred to him, guess
- 15:31where that 10 grand's coming from?
- 15:33You got it. It's coming out of your pocket,
- 15:36OK? It's coming out of your IRA
- 15:39money that you worked hard for, that you slit, you worked your
- 15:42butt off. Be careful is I've heard Andy
- 15:45Scheckman talking about this recently.
- 15:47I've talked to the brothers at Pinbex about this recently,
- 15:51about how there are and it's not everybody, right?
- 15:53It's not, but there are definitely some scam companies
- 15:57out there, OK. The other thing they'll try to
- 16:00sucker you with is, oh, you get up to $10,000 and free silver.
- 16:05Don't come on. You know, if it sounds too good
- 16:07to be true, it is, right? And in those situations the same
- 16:11thing as well. I mean, you could hypothetically
- 16:14wind up putting like $100,000 of an IRA into a precious metals
- 16:20IRA and really only wind up with 50 or 60 or 65 or who knows,
- 16:26right, worth of actual metal. What matters, right?
- 16:29And again, I'm not giving financial advice.
- 16:31I'm just giving my opinion. But what matters?
- 16:35And I would never represent any company, right that would pay me
- 16:39a 10% Commission off of money that you converted.
- 16:42Let's get that straight right away.
- 16:44Yes, Pembex pays me all right, monthly.
- 16:47I have no, I make no Commission, right.
- 16:50But I they're sponsor the channel.
- 16:51I get paid a certain amount fixed on a monthly basis.
- 16:55OK, now, but I would never work for a company that would pay me
- 16:59a massive Commission. OK, a massive Commission on
- 17:03money that somebody that I referred had put in that was
- 17:06coming out of their pockets. Don't ever fall for this $10,000
- 17:11free silver scam, OK? The big key if you're ever going
- 17:16to convert, take your time. Take your time, right?
- 17:21Check a lot of different options, OK?
- 17:24But at the end of the day, what you want to do is compare how
- 17:27much silver, how much gold. If you're going to convert
- 17:30$10,000, fifty, 1100, doesn't matter.
- 17:33A million, 10 million, whatever. Compare how much actual ounces
- 17:38of silver, how many actual ounces of gold you're going to
- 17:42get if you do a conversion, OK? That's the bottom line.
- 17:46Don't let them fool you with oh, Numis, you know, collector coins
- 17:49and weird weights, quarter oz, blah blah, 1 1/4 oz, whatever,
- 17:54don't fool. What matters is how many ounces
- 17:58of silver am I getting for my money?
- 18:00How many ounces of gold? That's warning number one.
- 18:02I was just shocked. I'm like, how could anybody?
- 18:05Then I'll be quiet. How could I could not sit down
- 18:08here and say, hey, guys, you should.
- 18:10If you're going to convert an IRA into precious metals, you
- 18:14should check out XYZ Company. Yeah, you know their name.
- 18:18You see, they advertise on TV. They've got a celebrity endorser
- 18:21and then that and then that 10% would be taken out of your money
- 18:26to be paid back to me. Sorry, I'll never do that.
- 18:29The other thing I need to warn you about is if you do want
- 18:32some, now, this is legitimate. Let me show you some free
- 18:34silver. And this is thanks to our
- 18:36channel sponsor, Penn Becks. OK, it's not $10,000 worth.
- 18:40Sorry, that's not real. That's too good to be true.
- 18:43But here, wrong way, that way, right over there, right?
- 18:50That's a 10 oz silver bar, Coca-Cola, A5 oz silver bar,
- 18:55Coca-Cola and a one ounce silver bar.
- 18:56It's a giveaway I'm doing with pin backs.
- 18:59But I got to give you a big warning about this as well,
- 19:02unfortunately. OK, big warning, massive
- 19:05warning, but if you do want to enter into this contest, there's
- 19:09a link in the description of this and every video I'm going
- 19:12to do it's on August 31st, so you have plenty of time.
- 19:15So don't leave the live stream now, please.
- 19:17OK, we're going for 500 people today.
- 19:20None the less, there's a link, there's a giveaway video and you
- 19:23just have to leave a comment on that video.
- 19:25But unfortunately, I need to warn you about this as well
- 19:30because now I'm getting a bunch of emails, right?
- 19:34I've probably gotten 25 emails from people saying, hey, I got a
- 19:37message from from that says that I won the contest.
- 19:41The contest is going to be drawn on August 31st.
- 19:44OK, I will never reach out to you.
- 19:46You can reach out to me if you want.
- 19:48You have my e-mail address, which a lot of you have found
- 19:50and emailed me and thankfully you haven't fought for.
- 19:53There are imposters out there that use my picture and all the
- 19:57YouTube people have to deal with this.
- 19:59They take my picture, they download it, they make a profile
- 20:02and they send you a message saying, hey, congratulations,
- 20:04you won the giveaway. And I don't know how they're
- 20:06trying to scam you, but I can tell you it's a scam.
- 20:10So we'll never reach out to you. Don't fall for these scams.
- 20:14It's unfortunate and I'll try to remind you guys of this from
- 20:17time to time. I know that all the you know,
- 20:19there's and they're insidious and they're.
- 20:22They're cockroaches, is what they are.
- 20:24OK, we got incredible news about gold.
- 20:27We have incredible news about silver.
- 20:30OK, we covered the warnings. OK, let's talk about our old
- 20:35friend. Jerome Powell.
- 20:39Gomer Pyle. Right, Sergeant Carter.
- 20:42I was thinking if Jimmy Carter was still president, we could
- 20:44have Sergeant Carter and Gomer. Jerome Powell.
- 20:47Gomer Pyle. Guess what?
- 20:49He's changing his tune. Oh, but we're going to, we're
- 20:52going to we're going to analyze this and we'll be quick about
- 20:55it. But but he's changing his tune
- 21:00from CNBC. Look at this headline came out
- 21:03yesterday and unfortunately my highlight thing kind of cut the
- 21:06letters off. But it says Powell indicates the
- 21:09Fed won't wait until inflation is down 2% before cutting rates.
- 21:15Oh, now Jerome's changing his tune.
- 21:18I'm going to tell I'm going to give you we're going to we're do
- 21:21you think he's full of it? But I'm going to explain to you
- 21:24why I think he is. Then you can make your mind up
- 21:26for yourself. Federal Reserve Chair Jeremy
- 21:28Powell said Monday that the central bank will not wait until
- 21:32inflation hits 2% to cut interest rates.
- 21:35OK, speaking at the Economic Club of Washington, I'm sure you
- 21:40like me. I've been there a couple times.
- 21:42I I'm not real impressed with their food.
- 21:44I don't know about you, but anyhow, he referenced the idea
- 21:47that the central bank policy works with long and variable
- 21:51lags to explain why the Fed won't wait for its target to be
- 21:54hit. Powell is is is shaking in his
- 21:58box. OK here, Right.
- 22:01You guys know this, right? Here he is.
- 22:03Hold on. Are you guys still there?
- 22:06Yeah. OK, look, he's shaking in his
- 22:08box, right? He's basically now telegraphing
- 22:12that they're going to have that, that they're losing the fight.
- 22:14This is what he's telegraphing. They're losing the fight on
- 22:17inflation. We talked about this six months
- 22:19ago, right? So it's all the biggest cluster
- 22:23bomb smoke and mirror that you're ever going to experience
- 22:26in your life. Guys, they can't win the fight
- 22:29on inflation and he's giving up. OK?
- 22:34He knows it, right? They're never going to tell you
- 22:36the truth. They're never going to be honest
- 22:38with you. They can't win the fight on
- 22:41inflation. You want to know why?
- 22:44Here, here. Take two seconds to show you
- 22:47why. Here's why.
- 22:53It's like the ever anybody. Oh my gosh, it really went up
- 22:56quick. We're 34909 thirty 4 trillion.
- 23:00That's why they will never win the fight on inflation.
- 23:04The only way that they can deal with this is by devaluing the US
- 23:10dollar. And when the US dollar goes down
- 23:13in value, the price of everything goes up, up, up.
- 23:18Have you ever noticed that? If you, how long have you been
- 23:20alive, right? I mean, we're kind of been
- 23:22gaslighted, right? That slow process of changing,
- 23:27right? We've been gaslighted by
- 23:29generally how slow it happens, like, oh, you know, it's a 5
- 23:33percent, 2% a year. The only thing, the only way
- 23:37they can deal with that, with that massive debt level with
- 23:40politicians out of control in Washington.
- 23:43Oh, I got a funny for you later. I'm going to show it to you
- 23:47right now in one second. Politicians out of control is to
- 23:51devalue the dollar. On top of that, we're in this
- 23:54environment. We got a lot to talk about guys,
- 23:57where the world is moving away from the dollar, its massive.
- 24:02So that's what's going to so they're going to look at the end
- 24:06of the day, what really helps gold and silver like we're in
- 24:09this little temporary like what's the, what's a good term
- 24:13for it? Temporary holding zone where
- 24:16lower inflation's good for gold and silver and we'll play their
- 24:20game. We'll play their game.
- 24:21OK yeah, sure, yeah, lower inflation's good for gold and
- 24:24silver, sure. But in the long run, right, the
- 24:27dollar goes down in value, inflation goes up.
- 24:30OK, gold and silver, save your your your behinds.
- 24:34OK. Now let's go see something
- 24:36funny. It's funny time. 334 people.
- 24:39You guys are awesome. Where are we?
- 24:41Here. Here we go.
- 24:45This is great. Today, if Dorothy, this is the
- 24:48Wizard of Oz, which as you know, is all about gold and silver.
- 24:51But today, if Dorothy ran into men with no brains, no no heart
- 24:55or no courage, she wouldn't be in Oz.
- 24:58She would be in Washington. Isn't that true?
- 25:05But they're looking out for you. Don't you worry about it.
- 25:07OK. Yeah.
- 25:09So that's the situation here. I got this great note.
- 25:11I got to read this to you. OK.
- 25:14Higher inflation in the end. In the end, what's going to
- 25:18happen is inflation is coming back.
- 25:20I don't know if I have hyperinflation.
- 25:22I'm not going to try to scare you and oh, we're going to have
- 25:24hyperinflation. We very well could, no doubt
- 25:26about it. But in the end, inflation is
- 25:30going to beat out, is going to be greater than the prevailing
- 25:34interest rates. A lot of people argue that that
- 25:37is the case right now. OK, But when the market
- 25:40recognizes when people re. No, I did not Susie.
- 25:46Sorry, Susie. OK, hold on guys, let's do the
- 25:49pocket pinger for 100 thumbs up because Susie is requesting it.
- 25:53We love Susie. All right there you go.
- 26:02That's 10 pings of the pocket pinger for the 100 thumbs up.
- 26:04When we get the 200 thumbs up, I will ring the cowbell, which
- 26:08will make some of you mad. So I will give you a little bit
- 26:11of a warning, but the big picture.
- 26:15And then we're going to we're then we're going to move on to
- 26:17the 78% and we're going to talk about what's going on in this
- 26:20country right now, which is downright frightening and scary,
- 26:25right? People don't realize how bad
- 26:27things are, OK? People don't.
- 26:29And part of that has to do with this inflation that we're
- 26:31talking about, right? Inflation, inflation, inflation.
- 26:35There is no way out, right? Remember that song?
- 26:38It's time for me to sing, which I know a lot of you request.
- 26:41I sing once during each live stream.
- 26:43No way out. She didn't buy my story.
- 26:48You know that song, right? And that's the American people
- 26:51right? Right now here's oh, this is a
- 26:53great analogy right now with this guy.
- 26:56It's not just him, it's not just him, it's him or her.
- 27:04Is it a him or a her? It's a her.
- 27:11They, they, they guys. They're like, it's like this.
- 27:18You ever been in a relationship? You ever been in a relationship?
- 27:23Probably. We all do.
- 27:24We all get all. You're in a relationship right
- 27:26now. And by the way, it's a big, big
- 27:28deal that you're here, OK? Maybe you're lonely.
- 27:31Hey, I get lonely. I'm down here in a basement by
- 27:33myself, right? It can only get better from
- 27:36here, is what we like to say. And it is getting better.
- 27:39But it's a big deal that you're here no matter where you're
- 27:41joining from. Thank you.
- 27:42I'm going to beg you one more time for a thumbs up.
- 27:44It feels good for you to press it.
- 27:46So go ahead. I dare you press it.
- 27:48And yeah, you can always subscribe.
- 27:50It's free. I don't push for subscribers.
- 27:52What matters to me is how many of us get together on a daily
- 27:55basis. And right now, we got 350
- 27:57basement dwellers. But if you've ever been in a
- 28:00relationship, right, And the person's cheating on you, you
- 28:04kind of know, you kind of understand.
- 28:06I've, I've been there. I'll be honest, right?
- 28:08I don't like to admit it, but I've been there, right?
- 28:10You kind of know something's going on, right?
- 28:13But then, and that's what they're doing, OK.
- 28:16But eventually the truth comes out.
- 28:19And eventually the truth is going to come out.
- 28:21And the truth is going to be very hard for the 99% of
- 28:26Americans that are asleep that they whoa, everything's great,
- 28:30everything's awesome. It doesn't matter how much
- 28:32national debt we have. I have a friend who's a multi
- 28:36millionaire, super smart guy, super successful, right?
- 28:4010-15 years ago we would talk about this debt is out of
- 28:43control. He's like changed his tune.
- 28:45Now he's like, it doesn't really matter.
- 28:47It's a well, yeah, it's because you own a bunch of stocks and
- 28:50millions of dollars in property. So you're doing well for
- 28:55everybody else. It's called inflation, right?
- 28:57For you, you're doing well none the less.
- 29:01I digress at the end of the day, let's wrap this up.
- 29:04The dollar is going down in value.
- 29:07Prices are going up up, up, up up OK and the and you will you
- 29:13will be very happy that you yes you decided to protect yourself
- 29:18with silver and gold. 78% of Americans, this is crazy. 78% is
- 29:24this you, right? It could, very likely, could be,
- 29:28right. Four out of five of you,
- 29:30according to statistics, are living paycheck to paycheck.
- 29:33Let's go check this out and let's talk about why this is
- 29:36going to lead us to a major crisis in this country and what
- 29:40that's going to mean for the value of silver and gold.
- 29:44Before I do that, I want you to join me in getting yourself a
- 29:49quick drink of coffee. OK, guys, this comes from
- 30:01Forbes. OK, Here we go.
- 30:05Living. I'm losing my voice.
- 30:07Living paycheck to paycheck. Statistics for 2024.
- 30:12Shocking. This is shocking.
- 30:16Here we go. Where'd it go?
- 30:18As where'd they put it? Oh, boy.
- 30:22Something's something's going wrong with the computer here.
- 30:24Hold on a second. Living expenses in the US
- 30:27continue to rise, and wages struggle to keep up.
- 30:30It's unsurprising that Americans of all generations are having
- 30:33hard times financially. For many, this means living
- 30:37paycheck to paycheck. But what does it mean to live
- 30:39paycheck to paycheck? And what underlying factors are
- 30:42driving this trend? Here we go.
- 30:46OK, what's the definition? I've never heard this.
- 30:50And so we're going to learn something here.
- 30:51The definition of living paycheck to paycheck is for the
- 30:54purposes of this survey. Living paycheck to paycheck
- 30:57describes a financial scenario in which an individual or
- 31:05family's income barely covers the essential living expenses
- 31:09like housing, utilities, groceries, and transportation.
- 31:13One missed paycheck would put someone living paycheck to
- 31:17paycheck in a difficult spot. OK, so your money you're
- 31:20bringing in barely covers your ability to survive.
- 31:25How many Americans? Sorry guys, I'm losing my voice.
- 31:32A 2023 survey conducted by payroll.org, this is 2023,
- 31:38highlighted that 78% of Americans live paycheck to
- 31:42paycheck, a 6% increase from the previous year.
- 31:46So let me ask you this question. Let me ask you this question,
- 31:49basement dwellers. If we know that last year it was
- 31:5378% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, Do you think it got
- 31:57better over the last 12 months? Do you think?
- 32:00Do you think no, it's gotten gotten worse?
- 32:03It's probably in the 80s now, 8283, maybe 85%.
- 32:08I mean, this is crazy on many, many levels.
- 32:15OK? This, this, this was OK, similar
- 32:21to 2023. Wait till you hear this.
- 32:23Forbes Advisor survey revealed that nearly 70% of respondents
- 32:27either identified as living paycheck to paycheck.
- 32:31OK, that's 40% of them. Or even more concerning,
- 32:36reported that their income does not even cover their standard
- 32:41expenses. That's 29%.
- 32:43Three out of 10. Now, further shocking which
- 32:46generation is having the hardest time?
- 32:48This shocked me. Certain generations struggle
- 32:51more than others when it comes to living paycheck to paycheck.
- 32:53For example, nearly half of the baby boomer respondents who are
- 32:59nearing retirement or are or already retired say they are
- 33:05living paycheck to paycheck. Half of the baby boomers.
- 33:09That's a higher percentage than any other generation.
- 33:12So I ask you this question, right?
- 33:15I ask you this question as we look at the United States right
- 33:18now, our economy that's so strong and doing so great and
- 33:21doesn't need to be stimulated, How can we have half the baby
- 33:25boomers living paycheck to paycheck?
- 33:27How can we have, and I've got a bunch of notes here, this, this
- 33:30really, I mean, how can we have 4 out of five Americans, right,
- 33:35living in total paycheck to paycheck?
- 33:38People are struggling. OK, this is interesting.
- 33:40I'm hearing more and more stories.
- 33:42Do you know people maybe you're in this situation, OK, People
- 33:47that maybe had no debt. I had a guy e-mail me the other
- 33:50day. He's like, I had no debt five
- 33:51years ago, All right, everything was good.
- 33:53I wasn't rich. I got my job.
- 33:55I still have my same job right now.
- 33:58He said same job, right? But now I have to use my credit
- 34:03cards. Like he's one of the people that
- 34:05are living not just paycheck to paycheck, but beyond paycheck.
- 34:08I said I, I have to use my credit cards, right to
- 34:12supplement my grocery expenses. I mean, and I can understand it.
- 34:16Susie and I, we have twin 12 year old daughters.
- 34:19I mean, the food is incredible. And then on top of it, if you
- 34:23even think about going out to eat, I mean, you can blow your
- 34:27whole weekly food budget on some half cruddy meal.
- 34:31You know, I mean, it's really crazy.
- 34:33Are you in this, in this, in this thing?
- 34:35You got to look if you are, and it's what here's what's, here's
- 34:39the situation in this country right now.
- 34:41We've become a country of haves and have nots, OK?
- 34:45It is really bifurcating. It's happened, right?
- 34:49It's interesting that simultaneously we're also
- 34:52becoming very bifurcated from a political view perspective.
- 34:55But this isn't a political show, so we're not going to talk about
- 34:58that. But economically we're becoming
- 35:00bifurcated where you have the small group of people that say
- 35:04everything's great and they look at you like, how could you be
- 35:07struggling, right? Because look, look, man, if you
- 35:11put a bunch of money in the stock market 10 years ago, 15
- 35:15years ago, all right? And you didn't have to note yet,
- 35:18look, these, these people aren't any smarter than the people that
- 35:21don't have money in the market. They just were, were fortunate
- 35:24that they put money into the market.
- 35:26You've made 10 times your money, five times your money, right?
- 35:30Six times your money, you feel rich, right?
- 35:32Maybe you own a bunch of rental houses, you feel rich, right?
- 35:36But that's a small the only reason those people got so rich
- 35:40is because of the Federal Reserve printing a bunch of
- 35:43money. It's very synthetic, right?
- 35:46Right. And all that's done is to serve
- 35:49the purpose of concentrating the amount of wealth in this country
- 35:52into fewer and fewer people's hands.
- 35:55So if you are one of those people, be grateful.
- 35:58Susie and I are kind of in the middle.
- 35:59Look, I'll be transparent. No, I'm.
- 36:01I'm one of those people. I don't have any debt.
- 36:04Do we have money saved? Yes.
- 36:05We have money saved, Right? Are we wealthy?
- 36:08No. I work a little job at night.
- 36:09I do this. I work hard.
- 36:11And I'm telling you, it's hard. Are you?
- 36:13Are you, maybe you're a retiree. OK.
- 36:17It doesn't matter. Maybe you're a a, a, a family
- 36:20man like me, right? A family man trying to raise a
- 36:23family. It's hard.
- 36:24You got to look for free stuff to do.
- 36:27Yesterday Here. I'll show you.
- 36:29Let's go on a quick field trip. There's Dorothy.
- 36:34Hi, Dorothy. Yesterday.
- 36:37Here we go. There's my daughter Evelyn
- 36:38hitting baseballs. We went to the Rawlings
- 36:41experience. There we are eating lunch.
- 36:42Yeah, very few times. And I just want you to notice
- 36:44water, water, OK. And we only ate half our
- 36:48sandwiches each and brought it home.
- 36:50I mean, it's getting to that point where I'm like, you know
- 36:52what? I've had enough to eat.
- 36:53I'll bring this home. So if Susie can have it or
- 36:54whoever there she is at the baseball glove.
- 36:57Anyway, this place is cool. You guys are ever in Saint Louis
- 37:00if you like baseball. I'm not a huge base, but it's
- 37:02like 10 minutes from my house. It's called the Rawlings
- 37:05Experience. It's free, and they even have
- 37:07free batting cages, and that's why I heard about it.
- 37:10I'm like, free batting cages or batting cage, but then that
- 37:14other thing where you can hit the balls off the tee Anyway,
- 37:17I'm like, yeah, let's go. You know, Evie, we'll go do it,
- 37:20right? I mean, you got to find, like,
- 37:21free stuff to do. And then we got hungry.
- 37:24Imagine that. So we wound up eating out of
- 37:26they know what it costs for two chicken sandwiches.
- 37:29All right? And they were OK.
- 37:30All right. Two chicken sandwiches and two
- 37:32waters. By the time we left, our bill
- 37:35was $38 and this was not a fancy place, so you really got to look
- 37:40for free things to do. OK, if you are one of those
- 37:43people that are doing well, you better be happy.
- 37:46Look, we're going to talk about the about gold and silver more
- 37:49here in a second. OK guys, because most people are
- 37:52struggling. OK, let's go here.
- 37:57I got this printed out for you. This what I think is some very
- 38:03insightful information about the dollar.
- 38:08Is the US dollar really too big to fail?
- 38:12This comes from the company Gold Switzerland and the guy Matthew
- 38:17Pipenberg. If you don't know who Matthew
- 38:19Pipenberg is, I talk about the smartest guys in the room, Tavi
- 38:23Costa, Rick Rule, Matthew Pipenberg.
- 38:27These are the the what I think are some of the smartest people
- 38:29out there. He wrote this and I, I got some
- 38:32excerpts here that I want to, I want to share with you 'cause
- 38:35this tells us what's going on with the dollar, but really with
- 38:39gold and silver as well. It says he starts out that
- 38:42between politics driven between politics, currencies and
- 38:46markets. OK, it's fair to say we live not
- 38:50in not interesting, but actual surreal times.
- 38:54Oh, shoot, hold on here. Apologize, guys, OK, but it
- 39:02missed the surreal. The dollar, as many believe, is
- 39:06our rock, is our rock. And and so the dollar's the
- 39:09rock, the immortal, albeit often unloved, constant.
- 39:13But is the US dollar too big to fail?
- 39:15And then he's got a lot of stuff where he talks about what's
- 39:17going on to a de dollarization and the bricks.
- 39:20We know all that, right? The world is moving away from
- 39:23the dollar. But he then he gets to a point
- 39:25in the article where he says going around the dollar, 'cause
- 39:30people all think, oh, the dollar's doomed the dollar, you
- 39:33know, the dollar's going to be gone tomorrow.
- 39:36He puts out there that going around the dollar rather than
- 39:39replacing the dollar. For me, debating a gold back new
- 39:42currency or the end of the dollar drama thesis is missing
- 39:46the bullseye. OK, let's look at the facts.
- 39:49The fact and evolving history of today and tomorrow suggests that
- 39:53the real story is not about replacing the dollar, but simply
- 39:57going around it in a new price direction paved in both black
- 40:01and real gold. He throws in the the oil, the
- 40:04oil thesis as well. Toward that end, look at what
- 40:08the rest of the world. This is where it's interesting,
- 40:10this list of facts of what's going on in the rest of the
- 40:13world and its central banks are doing, not what they or our
- 40:19financial leadership are saying. What are they actually doing?
- 40:24Says since the 2008 great financial crisis, Putin has been
- 40:27hoarding gold. Since 2014, global central banks
- 40:31have been net sellers of U.S. Treasury.
- 40:34So they're selling the dollar basically, and net buyers of
- 40:38physical gold. In 2020, three, 20% of global
- 40:43oil sales were outside of the US dollar, despite being pegged to
- 40:50the US dollar. Dollar Saudi Arabia, the UAE and
- 40:53other GCC nations. Favorite import out of
- 40:57Switzerland this year is physical gold.
- 41:01More than 44 nations are currently executing trade
- 41:04settlements outside of the US dollar.
- 41:07Both Japan and China, historically the most reliable
- 41:10buyers of U.S. Treasuries.
- 41:12Uncle Sam's IO, US are now dumping billions and billions
- 41:16worth of them, selling the dollar, buying gold.
- 41:20In the case of China, Russia is the world's greatest commodity
- 41:24exporter. I didn't know that.
- 41:26And China is the world's greatest commodity importer.
- 41:29I honestly probably didn't know that as well.
- 41:31And they like each other far more than they do Biden or the
- 41:36next White House president. More importantly, it is a matter
- 41:40of national survival for China to buy oil outside of the US
- 41:44dollar. Russia is now selling oil to
- 41:47China in yuan, which the Russians then use.
- 41:50OK, so China, I'm sorry, Russia sells China oil OK in the in the
- 41:57So the Russians then use to buy Chinese goods once made in
- 42:01America. Thereafter any delta in the
- 42:05trade is net settled in gold. That means any difference.
- 42:08So if Russia sells China, you know, a billion dollars worth of
- 42:13oil and China says here we'll ship you 800 million worth of
- 42:18clothing products, whatever manufactured goods, they still
- 42:22owe Russia 200 million. Russia's going to get that not
- 42:25in yuan, but in gold. And they can do that through the
- 42:29Shanghai Gold Exchange, which it says right there.
- 42:32He says this folks is a bricks is is bricks scalable, meaning
- 42:36the other bricks countries can do this.
- 42:39Between swap lines and CIPS, alternatives to the SWIFT
- 42:42system, and rising negotiations between Gulf oil nations and
- 42:46other bricks big bigwigs, the current move away from the
- 42:49dollar denominated oil trade is real rather than imaginary.
- 42:53That's the whole Petro dollar falling apart.
- 42:56Given the growing decline of physical gold and silver levels
- 42:59at the New York and London exchanges, right the COMEX and
- 43:03the LBMA, they can no longer price fix gold as in the days of
- 43:07yore. Nor can they justify a different
- 43:10200 moving day gold price than one more fairly priced in
- 43:16China's exchange. China is taking over right?
- 43:19The are having much more influence on the price of gold
- 43:22and silver. The BRICS plus nations are no
- 43:24longer U.S. dollar pawns but rising rooks.
- 43:27Their share of global GDP is surpassing that.
- 43:31OK, OK, Super chat and cowbell, I'll get right there.
- 43:35I know guys, this, this is crazy stuff.
- 43:38I wanted to get through this then we'll go back, I promise.
- 43:41In 2023, the Bank of International Settlements
- 43:45declared physical gold a tier one asset massive, right
- 43:51alongside that of cash and 10 year U.S.
- 43:54Treasuries. They said gold has the same
- 43:56value and we know that over A50 year period now gold has
- 44:00outperformed U.S. Treasuries.
- 44:02Nations are openly and naturally preferring gold as a reserve
- 44:05asset over the other tier one options, dollar based IOU
- 44:10treasuries. Risk free return, which by any
- 44:13honest and current and future measure of inflation offers a
- 44:17negative real yield. We talked about that earlier
- 44:20that inflation is not inflation is going nowhere, it's real.
- 44:24In other words, return free risk.
- 44:28No matter how enamored the green crowd is with ESG, we are now
- 44:31decades and decades as well as trillions and trillions away
- 44:35from carbon neutral. And like it or not, energy
- 44:38matters. OK, China and India each have
- 44:41populations over 1.4 billion. We talk about that all the time.
- 44:45If oil demand increases even slightly in either of these
- 44:49BRICS countries, oil prices in rupees and yuan will explode.
- 44:53Two of the biggest players in the oil space don't want to use
- 44:56dollars to pay for it. Instead, they prefer to net
- 44:59settle their oil and gas in gold, which buys more energy
- 45:04than dollars can. It's all about gold.
- 45:06It's all about oil. It'll be about silver as well,
- 45:11given that the annual oil, annual annual production
- 45:15capacity for oil is 1512 to 15 times that of global gold.
- 45:20And with gold increasingly becoming the favored oil
- 45:23payment, gold's price relative to oil can only go up.
- 45:29And this gets very complicated. But hopefully on a simple level
- 45:32that makes sense. Oil can drive the gold price, in
- 45:37particular if if, if oil is repriced in gold.
- 45:43And that's what he's saying is going on.
- 45:45I had a conversation with a big Canadian banker in September of
- 45:48last year where he first, he was the first person that had taught
- 45:52me about this. Like the Chinese are basically
- 45:56buying oil for gold with gold right through the Shanghai Gold
- 46:01Exchange, right? If, if, if they if they just buy
- 46:04nothing but oil from Russia and pay them in yuan that the
- 46:08Russians can immediately convert that to physical gold.
- 46:11Because remember, the Shanghai Gold Exchange is a physical
- 46:15market. This explains why gold is openly
- 46:18and not theoretically becoming a more trusted reserve asset than
- 46:23U.S. Treasuries.
- 46:24And look at this one final chart that he had.
- 46:26I want to show you this and then I'll ring the bell.
- 46:29OK, Central bank purchases of gold is the blue line versus
- 46:37foreign official purchases of U.S.
- 46:40Treasuries. That's the red line.
- 46:42So the blue is the amount of gold being bought by world
- 46:45central banks. Up, up, up, up, up.
- 46:48In the red is the amount of U.S. Treasuries.
- 46:51Down, down, down. A little bit of an uptick, but
- 46:54are you noticing a trend? Thank you to Matthew Pipenberg
- 46:58for what I think is some of the smartest, most insightful
- 47:01analysis out there. The world is changing.
- 47:04And we got a super chat that I missed.
- 47:06Let's say thank you. Hey, Daniel, thank you.
- 47:09And looks like maybe you have something to say.
- 47:11Ron and Susie, thank you for making my mornings.
- 47:13Y'all give me food for thought. Howdy, basement dwellers from
- 47:16Texas. Thank you, Daniel.
- 47:18Wow. And thank you again, Todd, for
- 47:20that very generous super chat. So let's switch switch gears to
- 47:25silver here quickly. All right, more right.
- 47:28It just never ends. More crazy news about silver.
- 47:33Here we go close. I don't want you.
- 47:38This is came out late late last week.
- 47:40Thank you to my friend Mark S for pointing this out to me.
- 47:43Highly efficient, OK and stable solar cells can now be mass
- 47:48produced like printing newspapers.
- 47:50There are massive innovations going on in the solar industry.
- 47:54Need I remind you, every time you see one solar panel, you can
- 47:58think of an ounce of silver. OK, maybe a little bit of an
- 48:02exaggeration, but 2/3 of an ounce of silver in each solar
- 48:05panel. The amount of solar panels being
- 48:07manufactured is absolutely exploding, right?
- 48:10Solar farms the size of Paris going up all over in China.
- 48:14This is real. This is massive demand for
- 48:17silver. I heard Keith Neumayer speaking
- 48:19last night. He talked about the fact that,
- 48:21yeah, they tried to kind of get rid of the silver or reduce the
- 48:25amount of silver and solar panels.
- 48:27That didn't work out too well for him.
- 48:29So guys, yes, this is happening. This is real.
- 48:33OK, let me just read this quickly.
- 48:35Scientists at the City University of Hong Kong have
- 48:38developed highly efficient, printable and stable perovskite
- 48:42solar cells to achieve carbon neutrality and promote
- 48:46sustainable development. This new type of perovskite
- 48:49solar cell can be mass produced at a speed comparable to
- 48:53newspaper printing with the daily output of up to 1000 solar
- 48:58panels. This is interesting owing to
- 49:01their flexible semi transparent characteristics.
- 49:04They can also be made into light absorbing glass windows,
- 49:08realizing the concept of urban solar farms in cities with so
- 49:12many high rise buildings. So I thought, yeah, but do these
- 49:15perovskite cells, do they use silver?
- 49:17And it's, it's a little hard to dig into this, but I did find
- 49:21this Improving perovskite solar cell performance with silver
- 49:26nanoparticles. This was from January of this
- 49:28year, says scientists at the United Kingdom have proposed for
- 49:31the first time to deposit silver nanoparticles in electron
- 49:35transport layers used in perovskite solar cells to
- 49:39improve device performance. They found that a quote UN
- 49:42quote, optimal concentration of silver nanoparticles may help to
- 49:47improve the proskite cells charge transfer and extraction
- 49:50as well as efficiency. And there's our old friend AG
- 49:55OK, every stinking time we turn around, we're hearing about how
- 50:00silver is part of this green energy revolution.
- 50:06Hey, let's go out and check on the silver and gold price.
- 50:08Time to take our our blood pressure medicine.
- 50:12OK, 'cause last time we checked, we're up almost $22.00, guys, we
- 50:16never know what to expect. We've been on here for about an
- 50:18hour. Who knows?
- 50:20So let's press the button and see we're we're up 27.
- 50:23OK, wow, silver up $0.30 per oz. Guys, it's going to get very,
- 50:31very interesting here as we head through the end of this year,
- 50:34OK? Can you believe we're at 2004?
- 50:39Is that real? I can't even believe I'm saying
- 50:41this. Let's check one more time.
- 50:45My Lord, $2450 per oz. Gold, Silver, $31.00 per oz.
- 50:52I mean, I'm telling you, think about this.
- 50:56It's a fact. These high prices that we're at,
- 51:00OK, it was with no help. Absolutely.
- 51:04The gold and silver, it's with. Think about this.
- 51:09This is so critical, OK? Gold and silver have done this
- 51:12with no help from the Western investor.
- 51:14Gold and silver have done this in the face of higher interest
- 51:18rates, which is a headwind to the silver and gold price.
- 51:22Gold and silver have done this with a strong dollar, right?
- 51:26What's the DXY index at today? We haven't looked at that for a
- 51:29while. Let's just let's go look
- 51:31quickly. So I think it's worth looking
- 51:33at. And yes, the US debt clock is
- 51:36still going up. DXY index, here we go.
- 51:44I would imagine the dollar's down today.
- 51:47But look, I mean, look at no, the dollar's up.
- 51:51I mean, it's, it really makes no sense.
- 51:54No, I don't want to become a confident investor.
- 51:57OK, here, look at it on a long term basis.
- 52:01OK, here we are today, one O 5, one O 4, right here.
- 52:06Let's draw a picture. This is very important to
- 52:08understand. OK, so if I start there and I go
- 52:14all the way over here, OK, there we go.
- 52:20That's not even a straight line. Hold on a second.
- 52:22Let's try that again. OK, Ronnie can be a little bit
- 52:28of a perfectionist. That's not straight either.
- 52:34But anyway, look at this chart. OK, A high dollar is bad for
- 52:40gold and silver. This is the DXY index.
- 52:43This is the dollar index that everybody talks about on
- 52:45mainstream media when they're saying, oh, the dollar's up, the
- 52:48dollar's down, the dollar's strong, the dollar's weak.
- 52:51OK. If we draw this red line and go
- 52:53all the way back to what probably 1985, what is that 40
- 52:57years of history? How often have we been higher
- 53:00than where we are now, this little period of what is that
- 53:04like three years and then maybe back in the mid 80s a little bit
- 53:09and very briefly right there, OK, which well, I'd say that's
- 53:15probably sometime in 2022. That was when the DXY maybe got
- 53:18up to like two 113. So we've had these massive high
- 53:25moves in gold and silver and in this this high level up here,
- 53:30you know, anything above this red line, we're supposed to be
- 53:33down in the gold and silver price.
- 53:35So it really is is exceptional and and noteworthy that we are
- 53:42where we are. And man, I'm telling you, OK,
- 53:45it's silver, right? Really that's gold.
- 53:49And we know silver has barely ever been above $30 per oz.
- 53:52But the silver price, right? There's two sectors that have
- 53:56really been neglected through all this and that's the silver
- 53:59price and the junior mining stocks in particular.
- 54:04I'm telling you guys, it's just a little bit of money goes into
- 54:08the silver market, a little bit of money goes into the junior,
- 54:11the junior developer exploration.
- 54:14It could be absolutely crazy. Thank you for being here with me
- 54:18today. I really appreciate you.
- 54:20Thank you for the Super chats, OK And I will plan on seeing you
- 54:24tomorrow.
