- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey, guys, welcome to the almost in his podcast today,
- 0:08Speaker 2: But and I are going to be breaking down the
- 0:11Speaker 2: Fantasy Suite episode of Joey's season. Then, what's your overall
- 0:17Speaker 2: take on this episode?
- 0:21Speaker 3: Every single human involved in this season up to this
- 0:24Speaker 3: point is an emotional, romantic wreck. They have no clue
- 0:33Speaker 3: what to do next, none of them Joey included. I'll
- 0:36Speaker 3: say this, he is a spiral of chaos and confusion
- 0:42Speaker 3: and emotion. And I don't think we've seen what we're
- 0:47Speaker 3: seeing during at this point in the season in a
- 0:51Speaker 3: long time where there is I still think only two
- 0:54Speaker 3: women that will be there, I mean like obviously be
- 0:57Speaker 3: there in the end, but like really only two women.
- 1:00Speaker 3: This is the like gonna be the real deal with
- 1:02Speaker 3: but all but I but I think he's so into
- 1:05Speaker 3: all three women. I think all three owner are into
- 1:08Speaker 3: him that this is this is like pulling at my
- 1:12Speaker 3: heart strings from being in it before and having a
- 1:16Speaker 3: similar situation.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Really yeah, I know, I'm trying to think about a
- 1:21Speaker 2: finale that would have been as just like not knowing
- 1:27Speaker 2: what's going to happen, like for like the lead. The
- 1:29Speaker 2: lead probably was just.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Like I don't I would say, Peter season.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Okay, Peter, there you go, Peter.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Probably the last time I would think back on like
- 1:37Speaker 3: the kind of the same level of my.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Goodness exsiveness, But like, I don't want to call it
- 1:41Speaker 2: indecis No.
- 1:42Speaker 4: I don't. I think that's the wrong word, Ashley, Yeah
- 1:44Speaker 4: I do. I don't think we can be love for
- 1:47Speaker 4: both people.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think you can criticize. Remember, I don't
- 1:52Speaker 3: think you can criticize somebody for feeling this way at
- 1:55Speaker 3: the end. It is not indecisiveness. It's not cold feet.
- 1:57Speaker 3: It's not knowing what you want.
- 1:59Speaker 2: It's it's wanting both.
- 2:01Speaker 4: It's having everything.
- 2:02Speaker 3: It's like I have the most amazing people here with me,
- 2:06Speaker 3: and the women are going this is the most amazing guy,
- 2:10Speaker 3: and it makes it so much harder and it makes
- 2:11Speaker 3: it so much better to watch. And I think that's
- 2:13Speaker 3: what we love about this show.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's great. It's it's it's really edge of your
- 2:18Speaker 2: seat right now. I'm nervous, and I haven't been nervous
- 2:22Speaker 2: for a while. Like I'm always like you know me,
- 2:24Speaker 2: I'm always like you know what the person's gonna get heartbroken.
- 2:26Speaker 2: They're gonna get over it. They're gonna become the bachelor bachelorette,
- 2:29Speaker 2: They're gonna go on a paradise, They're gonna be fine.
- 2:31Speaker 2: But right now I'm like, actually, like quite nervous because
- 2:35Speaker 2: this is like real, it feels like real love with
- 2:38Speaker 2: him and Kelsey and him with Daisy. Let me tell
- 2:42Speaker 2: you that I started out the episode when he's crying
- 2:46Speaker 2: about the fact that, like, you know, his biggest fear
- 2:48Speaker 2: again is not being chosen back, And I'm like, why
- 2:52Speaker 2: is this man such a good crier? Like why is
- 2:55Speaker 2: he He's such an emotional crier? Like his cry makes
- 2:58Speaker 2: you really sad.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I've never felt that. I mean, I don't love to
- 3:02Speaker 3: see people cry. I will say that. I I mean,
- 3:07Speaker 3: remember I said it last week. I was there the
- 3:10Speaker 3: week before this and sitting with Joey. I sat next
- 3:14Speaker 3: to him, and like, his reaction this week is not
- 3:18Speaker 3: shocking to me. You could see it in his eyes
- 3:21Speaker 3: when I was with him that this was like pulling
- 3:25Speaker 3: him to a place that he didn't know where to go.
- 3:27Speaker 3: This is an unfamiliar, uncharted territory for Joey and these women,
- 3:33Speaker 3: but it is a season of the Bachelor. There is
- 3:36Speaker 3: no prep for this.
- 3:37Speaker 4: There is no.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Life lessons that you can learn to make you go
- 3:43Speaker 3: into these situations and do them well. At this point,
- 3:47Speaker 3: for the rest of the season, Joey is holding on
- 3:50Speaker 3: by a thread because at the same time that he's
- 3:53Speaker 3: telling these women he loves them, he's gonna be saying
- 3:56Speaker 3: goodbye to people that he loves.
- 3:59Speaker 2: And when you're saying this, I feel like you're saying
- 4:01Speaker 2: this because you know Joey quite well. You guys have
- 4:04Speaker 2: multiple conversations per week. I feel like we have Joey
- 4:08Speaker 2: quotes coming out of your mouth.
- 4:12Speaker 3: It's not quotes from him, more of quotes from my
- 4:16Speaker 3: experience on the show and watching him and getting to
- 4:19Speaker 3: know him a little bit. I just don't outside of
- 4:26Speaker 3: everything else, I really love that we have a season.
- 4:29Speaker 4: That this is existing in. Okay, I know it hurts.
- 4:32Speaker 3: It hurts all the people involved, but I'm really glad
- 4:35Speaker 3: that we're watching this and we're being like, this is real. Okay,
- 4:38Speaker 3: So say whatever happens at the end, like say that
- 4:41Speaker 3: whoever he's with, it doesn't work out right, like for
- 4:44Speaker 3: whatever reason life, For whatever reason, life brings itself and
- 4:48Speaker 3: they find themselves not working out. What we'll always do
- 4:52Speaker 3: is look back on Joey's season and be like, but
- 4:54Speaker 3: we felt it, and I think that's a huge win
- 4:56Speaker 3: for us.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Yeah, that's kind of like Caitlin's season.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Yes, good, good point.
- 5:02Speaker 2: We still think about Caitlin and Sean eight years, nine
- 5:06Speaker 2: years later.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think they do, but we do.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, let's go look into the step by step
- 5:13Speaker 2: the first one the first dates with Rachel and I
- 5:17Speaker 2: don't know the real order of these dates this week,
- 5:20Speaker 2: and I'm really interested to know because Rachel's is the throwaway.
- 5:26Speaker 2: It was meant to be first for us to see
- 5:29Speaker 2: because it's just we can't compare it to the other two.
- 5:33Speaker 2: It could be in a totally separate episode. Not to
- 5:37Speaker 2: say that he doesn't like her. I like her. I
- 5:39Speaker 2: know that he does, and I know that he even
- 5:40Speaker 2: said he's falling in love with her, but he never
- 5:43Speaker 2: said it to her face. Right, that's like kind of
- 5:45Speaker 2: like what he says to the camera.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I feel like he says something along the lines of
- 5:49Speaker 3: I'm falling for you. I don't remember a moment where
- 5:52Speaker 3: he actually admitted his love to her.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's so much different than the feelings of
- 5:57Speaker 2: when he admits loving feelings towards the other two that
- 6:00Speaker 2: I looked back on it and I was like, wait,
- 6:01Speaker 2: did he actually say it to her? You just say
- 6:03Speaker 2: it to the screen anyway. Well, it isn't without a
- 6:09Speaker 2: little bit of drama though, because she ends up jump
- 6:12Speaker 2: from that sky you know whatever, you want to call it,
- 6:15Speaker 2: a very high diving board, and she really messes up
- 6:18Speaker 2: her jaw. I feel like, she like whacks her face
- 6:21Speaker 2: really bad, to the point where she thinks that maybe
- 6:23Speaker 2: her jaw's broken. So they go and spend some time
- 6:26Speaker 2: in the hospital instead of who knows what they would
- 6:29Speaker 2: even been doing. But you know what, I feel like,
- 6:31Speaker 2: Evan Bass would tell you that sometimes a hospital date
- 6:34Speaker 2: can be a good thing. It's quite vulnerable, and it's
- 6:40Speaker 2: like one of those moments in life where you're like, Wow,
- 6:43Speaker 2: I really didn't want to ever be here with you,
- 6:44Speaker 2: but here we are, and it's kind of more real
- 6:47Speaker 2: life than anything you're going to experience on the show.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Maybe a little boring note here. Yeah, I was curious
- 6:52Speaker 3: about how in the world did the show get clearance
- 6:54Speaker 3: to film in a hospital so quickly.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I was wondering about that. I was also wondering, like, okay,
- 6:59Speaker 2: so since that they're on a show, like and they're
- 7:02Speaker 2: at the er, do they get bounced ahead of everybody else?
- 7:07Speaker 2: Can't like wait in the er waiting room for three
- 7:09Speaker 2: hours to be seen?
- 7:10Speaker 3: Yeah, like what was going on? I want to see
- 7:12Speaker 3: the waiting room. I want to see them just sitting there.
- 7:15Speaker 3: It looks like it hurts. You can tell that it
- 7:17Speaker 3: shook her. You also know that this is the last
- 7:20Speaker 3: thing she wanted. She did not want to be hurt
- 7:24Speaker 3: and spending this day, you know, away from their activities.
- 7:28Speaker 3: But they do bounce back. I just don't feel it actually,
- 7:36Speaker 3: like I like her and I like him, I like
- 7:39Speaker 3: them together. I just don't feel it like I feel
- 7:42Speaker 3: it with Daisy and Kelsey. And I don't know if
- 7:46Speaker 3: I can put any Maybe you can help me. I
- 7:48Speaker 3: can't necessarily put my finger on it other than the
- 7:51Speaker 3: fact that maybe in my mind all season, I've just
- 7:55Speaker 3: built up that it's going to be Daisy or Kelsey
- 7:57Speaker 3: in the end, and nobody else is really like everybody
- 8:01Speaker 3: else is just kind of playing for second and thirds.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Mm hmm. Well, for me, the conversation between the two
- 8:09Speaker 2: of them is always about like, can she get vulnerable.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Is she open enough? And it's like, Okay, I'm tired
- 8:17Speaker 2: of talking about talking about it, Let's just see it
- 8:21Speaker 2: in action. How many times are I going to say
- 8:24Speaker 2: open and vulnerable and honest? And I'm just like, let's
- 8:27Speaker 2: have a conversation that is about something that is open,
- 8:31Speaker 2: vulnerable and honest. But is it about saying those words
- 8:35Speaker 2: over and over again?
- 8:36Speaker 4: Because we really haven't seen that. I mean we've we've
- 8:38Speaker 4: seen them.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Talking about her dad, remember when she like yeah, but.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Like we've seen them touch on it, but they bring
- 8:45Speaker 3: it up, but there is no yeah, there is no
- 8:48Speaker 3: kind of follow up where emotions start getting you know, expressed,
- 8:52Speaker 3: and they start sharing with each other their dreams and
- 8:55Speaker 3: what they.
- 8:55Speaker 4: Want in a relationship, and you you don't see that.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Tell me a story. It doesn't have to be a
- 9:01Speaker 2: sad story, sob story. Just like, let's see a story.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Let's see where you're at as a couple. So they
- 9:09Speaker 3: do go to then overnight. I was I would say
- 9:11Speaker 3: that that was something I was surprised about. I think
- 9:13Speaker 3: after the day date, I was curious to see if
- 9:17Speaker 3: they would actually go to an overnight or not.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Oh, I thought for sure because they needed the extra time.
- 9:23Speaker 3: That's fair, I think I was. I'm I think I'm
- 9:27Speaker 3: just waiting for to see how this ends. So I
- 9:31Speaker 3: was just wondering when when this relationship was going to end,
- 9:34Speaker 3: if it was going to end at a you know, overnight,
- 9:36Speaker 3: But what is what by them going to an overnight,
- 9:39Speaker 3: what it does for me is it shows me that
- 9:42Speaker 3: Joey is more into this than I think I'm giving
- 9:44Speaker 3: him credit for.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Especially in the morning. I thought they seemed like they
- 9:47Speaker 2: had pretty nice, like intimate conversation there.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I think I'm misreading this whole situation because I'm thinking, oh, Joey,
- 9:55Speaker 3: you know, Joey knows that it's he doesn't know what
- 9:57Speaker 3: he wants yet, maybe, but he knows that it's daysier Kelsey.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Yeah, but by him.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Saying, no, we're gonna do this thing tonight, like we're
- 10:04Speaker 3: gonna go to an overnight, We're gonna take more time together,
- 10:07Speaker 3: it makes me have to take a step back and
- 10:09Speaker 3: be like, yeah, he's more into this than I thought
- 10:11Speaker 3: he was, So I have to take that into consideration.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, let's move on to the Kelsey date, which
- 10:18Speaker 2: is just everything like that date was. It was so
- 10:23Speaker 2: many feelings, so much like joy and happiness and lightness
- 10:28Speaker 2: and I love feeling that. And she was so cute
- 10:31Speaker 2: and giddy when she was excited about telling him that
- 10:34Speaker 2: she's in love with him, and it just felt good
- 10:39Speaker 2: to watch.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it overnights are so unique because you do have
- 10:45Speaker 3: kind of the ones that maybe don't hit the emotional
- 10:48Speaker 3: mark that you know you expect, and that's what I'd
- 10:50Speaker 3: put Rachel's in. Again, I could be completely wrong on this,
- 10:54Speaker 3: and I'm very willing to say, you know what, maybe
- 10:56Speaker 3: it's the two of them at the end, and I'll
- 10:58Speaker 3: be shocked and it will be yet the most shocking
- 11:00Speaker 3: season ever. And I love it still, Like it's great.
- 11:03Speaker 3: But you have those not overnights. You also have the
- 11:07Speaker 3: overnights that are very like stressful, kind of like Daisies, Right,
- 11:11Speaker 3: she's very nervous about this. This is a big deal.
- 11:14Speaker 3: It's hard to process what's happening. It's hard to process
- 11:17Speaker 3: the week and that he's kind of navigating this whole thing.
- 11:20Speaker 3: And then you have the overnights that just feel natural, like, yes,
- 11:24Speaker 3: I'm so excited to have an evening with you doing
- 11:28Speaker 3: whatever it is we choose to do. But you and
- 11:30Speaker 3: I having this evening together is so exciting for me.
- 11:33Speaker 3: That's Kelsey's We get all three this season. We get,
- 11:37Speaker 3: at least, in my opinion, the one that doesn't feel
- 11:39Speaker 3: like it's there. We get the one that's like very
- 11:43Speaker 3: nervous and stressful Daisies, and then we get the one
- 11:47Speaker 3: that's like, Hey, just you and I hanging out. Let's
- 11:50Speaker 3: like we're gonna do She even says this quote. She goes,
- 11:53Speaker 3: I get to spend the evening with my boyfriend and
- 11:56Speaker 3: it feels like, yeah, it's easy for them, so it's
- 12:00Speaker 3: so natural.
- 12:02Speaker 2: But let's also say that they wanted to freak her
- 12:05Speaker 2: out by setting her up with Leslie before.
- 12:09Speaker 4: More than they.
- 12:12Speaker 2: I did like the fact that they were able to
- 12:13Speaker 2: bond over losing their mom early in life, so I
- 12:17Speaker 2: think that they set them up for that reason. But
- 12:18Speaker 2: they also set them up because they were like, I
- 12:20Speaker 2: think Kelsey's feeling too good about this, let's put some
- 12:23Speaker 2: doubt in her mind. And I don't think the doubt
- 12:26Speaker 2: creeped in much during the date. But of course they're
- 12:30Speaker 2: gonna let you know. She gets home from the date,
- 12:31Speaker 2: she's probably even more emotionally attached to him. After the
- 12:34Speaker 2: fantasy suite and then that Simmer's in her mind that
- 12:38Speaker 2: Leslie said, I went to a fantasy suite. I thought
- 12:40Speaker 2: in that moment it was me. I was one hundred
- 12:43Speaker 2: percent sure, and then after and then then it wasn't me.
- 12:47Speaker 2: So just always remember like it I'd be hopeful, but
- 12:50Speaker 2: don't be like overly confident.
- 12:54Speaker 4: It's hard.
- 12:55Speaker 3: It's such a weird week where you are connecting on
- 12:58Speaker 3: a level you haven't yet because no matter what, cameras
- 13:01Speaker 3: aren't there, So like you are letting your guard down
- 13:04Speaker 3: in many ways, some physically, some emotionally, you know, but
- 13:09Speaker 3: you're you're hanging out in a different environment than you have. Also,
- 13:14Speaker 3: at the same time, things are said behind those doors
- 13:18Speaker 3: that are not said other places. It's always interesting to
- 13:23Speaker 3: me to see the confidence of people coming out of it,
- 13:26Speaker 3: because I do think there's a world where you genuinely
- 13:29Speaker 3: try your best not to express emotion and not to
- 13:32Speaker 3: lead somebody on, but you're telling all of them like
- 13:36Speaker 3: a life.
- 13:37Speaker 4: With you would be great. This is super fun. I'm
- 13:39Speaker 4: so glad we get this time, and.
- 13:41Speaker 3: You don't mean to be leading them on, but you
- 13:43Speaker 3: also don't know what's going to be happening next, and
- 13:46Speaker 3: so you're saying whatever you're feeling at the time. It
- 13:49Speaker 3: feels like to me, Ashley, they did set her up
- 13:52Speaker 3: to have a little doubt. One hundred percent totally makes sense.
- 13:56Speaker 3: And I also think it makes me think she's the
- 13:59Speaker 3: one in the because I don't think they would do
- 14:01Speaker 3: that unless she was gonna be the one chosen. But
- 14:05Speaker 3: I don't know if they know that at this point, or.
- 14:08Speaker 2: They're trying to foreshadow another Leslie situation where we're all like,
- 14:12Speaker 2: quite certain, she seems quite certain and then it's not.
- 14:16Speaker 2: But wait, let's just go back just because you said
- 14:18Speaker 2: there's so many things that happened behind the closed doors
- 14:21Speaker 2: that we don't see. Well, they made sure that Rachel,
- 14:25Speaker 2: who ended up saying I love you or I'm falling
- 14:28Speaker 2: in love with you, whatever the difference is behind the
- 14:32Speaker 2: closed doors of the fantasy suite. She said it there
- 14:35Speaker 2: in private, and they were like, Okay, but in the morning,
- 14:37Speaker 2: you're gonna sit down, you're gonna tell everybody that that's
- 14:39Speaker 2: what you said.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to kind of skip forward then here
- 14:53Speaker 3: with what you were just saying there and say. I
- 14:55Speaker 3: wonder if the note how much it hints back to
- 15:01Speaker 3: the Fantasy Suite or how much it hints to her doubts.
- 15:04Speaker 4: I think it could be one of two.
- 15:06Speaker 3: I think it can be the motion kind of flowing
- 15:08Speaker 3: through her and overwhelming her and her having all these
- 15:10Speaker 3: concerns and questions because her feelings are so strong. Or
- 15:14Speaker 3: it could be something that was said in the fantasy
- 15:16Speaker 3: suite that she's holding on too, and now she has
- 15:18Speaker 3: a few like maybe he did say, hey, you're the
- 15:20Speaker 3: one at the end. Yeah, And then then there's a
- 15:23Speaker 3: few days removed, and she's going if he said that,
- 15:26Speaker 3: he better have meant it, like, he better have meant that.
- 15:29Speaker 3: If not, like, and I've got to confront about it
- 15:31Speaker 3: because right now I'm tail spinning thinking about him going
- 15:34Speaker 3: on another date after.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Me and he said yes to that date? Why would
- 15:37Speaker 4: he say yes to that.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Date if I am the one in the end, Like,
- 15:40Speaker 3: it's gonna be one of those two, I think.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Yeah, especially since there was that voiceover where she says,
- 15:46Speaker 2: I just don't want I want to leave now if
- 15:50Speaker 2: it's not going to be me or something along those lines.
- 15:53Speaker 2: And what I'm scared about is that she's going to
- 15:56Speaker 2: go up to him and like, just play it a
- 15:58Speaker 2: little bit wrong. It's not wrong, but you know. It's
- 16:02Speaker 2: it's kind of like a Sean Booth move. Let's make
- 16:04Speaker 2: this theme a theme, kind of like if it's not me,
- 16:08Speaker 2: you got to tell me it's me right now, you
- 16:11Speaker 2: know what I mean. I'm afraid that she's gonna go
- 16:13Speaker 2: up to him and say, if it's not me, let
- 16:17Speaker 2: me go now. And then it's like, okay, well, you
- 16:20Speaker 2: know that this is part of the process, like you
- 16:22Speaker 2: can't can't do that, Like you know, he's gonna eliminate
- 16:27Speaker 2: word supposing Rachel and then you just got to get
- 16:30Speaker 2: through one more week. But I'm really scared about like
- 16:34Speaker 2: her just saying like I can't do it any longer
- 16:36Speaker 2: if it's me. If it's not me, I'm leaving.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Yeah, it is. That's a sham Bu scenario.
- 16:41Speaker 3: It's kind of the ultimatum that you don't want to
- 16:43Speaker 3: place in somebody, especially when he has no options there,
- 16:46Speaker 3: like he can't be like no, you have to stay.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Because you are the one.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Yeah, he can't do that.
- 16:52Speaker 4: He can't do it. It's the format of the show.
- 16:54Speaker 4: It's it's why this last few weeks gets messy.
- 16:56Speaker 3: I think you really do feel like you're holding on
- 16:59Speaker 3: by a thread to every relationship you have because even
- 17:01Speaker 3: the people you're most confident in are now starting to
- 17:04Speaker 3: have doubt and they're starting to ask you questions like well,
- 17:07Speaker 3: if it's me, then why are you going on other
- 17:09Speaker 3: fantasy suite dates?
- 17:10Speaker 4: And you're like, right, I don't really know.
- 17:13Speaker 3: I can't I don't even get answer formula. Yeah, like, Ri,
- 17:18Speaker 3: I'm still signed up for a show. I'm still on
- 17:20Speaker 3: a show, and this is how the show works, and
- 17:23Speaker 3: I don't really have another option, and so can you
- 17:28Speaker 3: can you like forget that I did this? I mean,
- 17:30Speaker 3: like Ashley in your Perfect World here and this is
- 17:33Speaker 3: a question fans ask every season. Though gives Joey criticism
- 17:37Speaker 3: for this, I know they will. It happens every year
- 17:40Speaker 3: to every lead Bachelor or Bachelor. You're down to the
- 17:43Speaker 3: final three, it's fantasy suite week, say you know who
- 17:48Speaker 3: you're choosing, You're you're like so convinced.
- 17:52Speaker 4: What is an option that you could do?
- 17:55Speaker 2: Like?
- 17:55Speaker 3: Could you just say no to all three? Could you
- 17:57Speaker 3: just not go to any fantasy suite? Do you say
- 18:02Speaker 3: yes to all three? Do you go to two not three?
- 18:05Speaker 3: You say goodbye to one? Like, what is the best
- 18:08Speaker 3: option here that fans want to see?
- 18:11Speaker 4: If they know that you're convinced.
- 18:14Speaker 2: The closest option is kind of what Colton did. I
- 18:18Speaker 2: know that Cassie was like, I'm leaving, but he was like, Okay,
- 18:22Speaker 2: I'm ending the show now. No, I'm leaving, I'm going
- 18:27Speaker 2: to I'm done with this. I'm following her.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Yeah. I think Colton situation is literally.
- 18:36Speaker 2: And we found out that there was more layers. But
- 18:40Speaker 2: then let's also just talk about how we I do
- 18:43Speaker 2: feel like producers really wanted to use that fear of
- 18:48Speaker 2: Joey's that the person that he would want to be
- 18:52Speaker 2: with would not choose him, And I just think that
- 18:55Speaker 2: this was the best way of doing something. Was like
- 19:00Speaker 2: harnessing on her her like worry that Leslie instilled in her,
- 19:07Speaker 2: and then just like messing with his brain somehow.
- 19:12Speaker 3: I am confused, and we'll move on past this Today'sy's
- 19:15Speaker 3: day here in a second. I am a little bit confused,
- 19:18Speaker 3: and I hesitant, hesitate to say this because I don't
- 19:24Speaker 3: want to criticize somebody for being honest about where they're at,
- 19:27Speaker 3: and I think Joey's doing that. I am a little
- 19:29Speaker 3: confused on how this insecurity continues to seep in every week,
- 19:32Speaker 3: right now because he has he has three women that
- 19:34Speaker 3: are very, very convincing that they will be there with
- 19:37Speaker 3: him in the end, Like he is getting the validation
- 19:40Speaker 3: he needs. These women are very into him. They're giving
- 19:42Speaker 3: them all the signs. Now, you know, insecurities are weird.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Sometimes they don't need to make sense of the outside
- 19:47Speaker 3: world because you know, they they're internal. And I know
- 19:51Speaker 3: that he's living in that and holding.
- 19:53Speaker 4: On to that.
- 19:53Speaker 3: But at this point now outside of Charity's experience, because
- 19:59Speaker 3: I think he's way removed from that, Like I don't
- 20:01Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, I really don't know how
- 20:02Speaker 3: much that still affects him, honestly, Like, what is it
- 20:06Speaker 3: in his life or what is it through this process
- 20:08Speaker 3: that has made him think that any of these women
- 20:11Speaker 3: are going home. I have seen no hints at it,
- 20:15Speaker 3: zero hints until this week.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Just trying. They're trying.
- 20:19Speaker 3: It's showing a little bit of relatability. But I think
- 20:22Speaker 3: he really feels it. Maybe he's been convinced that he
- 20:24Speaker 3: feels it more than he actually is. And I'm wondering
- 20:28Speaker 3: if this note that Kelsey wrote will like kind of
- 20:30Speaker 3: spark that up in him.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Also, it's all that scary, it says, we need to talk.
- 20:36Speaker 2: It's not like be scary.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Oh, that would be the scariest thing.
- 20:39Speaker 2: You think that's the scariest of all them.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Oh my goodness.
- 20:42Speaker 2: What if she's like, I just want to talk because
- 20:44Speaker 2: like I miss you so much. I just want to
- 20:45Speaker 2: sit down with you. Man.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Sure, And that sounds like something my wife would do.
- 20:49Speaker 3: When she calls me, he's like, hey, we got to talk.
- 20:51Speaker 3: When I get home, and I'm.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Like, about, what what's happening? Like, tell me more?
- 20:54Speaker 2: My dad does that, He goes, I need to speak
- 20:57Speaker 2: with you, like he te me like, are you kidding me?
- 21:00Speaker 2: What the hell does that mean?
- 21:02Speaker 4: Yeah? And you need more context.
- 21:03Speaker 2: He started freaking out, like when he answers the phone
- 21:05Speaker 2: and he's like, I just I just want to tell
- 21:07Speaker 2: you that I had this piece of mail, what.
- 21:10Speaker 4: I had a good piece of beats to day.
- 21:12Speaker 3: You're like, you cannot do that anymore, Like you have
- 21:14Speaker 3: to give me some context for what you're asking me,
- 21:17Speaker 3: because my mind always we've talked about, both of our
- 21:20Speaker 3: minds always go to the worst case scenarios, like give
- 21:23Speaker 3: me the benefit of the doubt here. So I don't
- 21:25Speaker 3: know why she just says we need to talk. Why
- 21:27Speaker 3: didn't she say, Hey, Joey, I'm missing you and I
- 21:29Speaker 3: can't wait to see but we need to talk.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Wow, yeah, we know that, we know why she couldn't
- 21:34Speaker 2: say something reassuring before him. She needs to instill all
- 21:37Speaker 2: the fear. But there's also one other insecurity that Joey
- 21:40Speaker 2: has that we've seen between his two seasons, and that
- 21:43Speaker 2: gets brought up on the Daisy date. So we'll go
- 21:45Speaker 2: over to the Daisy date where he discusses with her
- 21:48Speaker 2: that he's just he's just very worried that somebody is
- 21:53Speaker 2: really going to get to know him and he's not
- 21:55Speaker 2: going to be enough for him. He's not going to
- 21:57Speaker 2: be that great of a guy. He has this perpetual
- 22:00Speaker 2: insecurity that he's just not as good as what people
- 22:03Speaker 2: think he is. And again I still get a little concerned.
- 22:08Speaker 2: I'm like, Joey, what are you like in a relationship?
- 22:10Speaker 2: Like why are you so scared? Because now you're scaring me?
- 22:13Speaker 2: Maybe you do have this dark side.
- 22:16Speaker 3: M Yeah, I mean it's a very valid insecurity. And
- 22:22Speaker 3: in fact, I think there's a personality type that just
- 22:27Speaker 3: has that intrinsic like I am a fraud mentality, right,
- 22:30Speaker 3: imposter syndrome all the time, through everything, especially when you're
- 22:34Speaker 3: the bachelor.
- 22:35Speaker 4: When you're the bachelor, you mean.
- 22:36Speaker 2: It makes sense as the bachelor.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Yeah, Joey goes from like what living with his sister
- 22:41Speaker 3: in Philly to them being the bachelor in nice suits
- 22:44Speaker 3: and like having thirty women chased out. Now, granted, I'm
- 22:47Speaker 3: sure Joey's never hurt to get good attention and he
- 22:49Speaker 3: deserves it all. He's a great dude, but he's probably
- 22:53Speaker 3: a moment's looking back on his life and be like,
- 22:55Speaker 3: outside of this experience, guys like, this is not what
- 22:58Speaker 3: my life looks like, and that concerns me, that scares
- 23:01Speaker 3: me this. I had this conversation when I was on
- 23:03Speaker 3: the show with the final two, was do you realize
- 23:06Speaker 3: that life outside of this is not this? Like, I
- 23:10Speaker 3: don't you know, I'm in bed at nine thirty and
- 23:13Speaker 3: I like, don't go on a lot of vacations. And yes,
- 23:18Speaker 3: you know, having a following on Instagram does help people
- 23:21Speaker 3: get you on vacation more and have more of an
- 23:23Speaker 3: exciting life. But for the most part, I'm still a
- 23:25Speaker 3: software salesman and I still sit at a cubicle in
- 23:28Speaker 3: this small little office, and I get paid like a
- 23:31Speaker 3: little bit of a minimum wage. So just understand that
- 23:36Speaker 3: all of this is amazing. It's not who I am,
- 23:40Speaker 3: It's not what my life looks like. I would love
- 23:42Speaker 3: to provide everything that, you know, the person that I
- 23:46Speaker 3: love desires, but there's gonna be that sacrifice. There's a
- 23:50Speaker 3: story actually that came up with me when I was
- 23:52Speaker 3: doing my season and I have a friend whose parents
- 23:56Speaker 3: had been married for a long time, and I'll never
- 23:59Speaker 3: forget this conversation that we had. They were very wealthy
- 24:01Speaker 3: at this point in their life. They were living in
- 24:03Speaker 3: this beautiful, big hall. We would always go out by
- 24:06Speaker 3: the pool. And one night I was over there for dinner,
- 24:09Speaker 3: sitting around the table, and they started talking about how.
- 24:11Speaker 4: For the first like eight years of their life they
- 24:14Speaker 4: were living in this like good life together.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Yeah, their life together, their marriage together, so kind of
- 24:20Speaker 3: up until they were like early thirties, they were living
- 24:23Speaker 3: in this small little condo in downtown San Francisco and
- 24:27Speaker 3: it was like in this really tough area and they
- 24:31Speaker 3: had they were talking about the food that they had
- 24:33Speaker 3: to eat for dinner at night because it's the only
- 24:35Speaker 3: thing they could afford. And I and that's a lot
- 24:38Speaker 3: of people's stories. I understand that, but what it showed
- 24:40Speaker 3: I remember this feeling and I was like, wait, now
- 24:42Speaker 3: this is where they live, and they've been in love
- 24:45Speaker 3: then and now, like they're in love in both places.
- 24:48Speaker 4: They love each other.
- 24:49Speaker 3: They would go through, you know, anything, as long as
- 24:52Speaker 3: they were together.
- 24:54Speaker 4: And that's the kind of love you're looking for.
- 24:56Speaker 3: And I think it's kind of love that it's a
- 24:58Speaker 3: hard thing to get when you're on this show. Is
- 25:01Speaker 3: are you cool? Are we still going to do this thing?
- 25:04Speaker 3: Do you love me even if our life does not
- 25:06Speaker 3: look like this?
- 25:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point.
- 25:10Speaker 3: And so it's that insecurity. I also think that Joey
- 25:12Speaker 3: is a very humble human. I don't think he has
- 25:15Speaker 3: a very like narcissistic, egotistical high view of himself, which
- 25:20Speaker 3: I think is a very admirable quality. I think it's
- 25:23Speaker 3: a very good quality to have. And I think some
- 25:28Speaker 3: would go, oh, he has to have a dark side.
- 25:29Speaker 3: I don't think that's what he's saying at all. I
- 25:31Speaker 3: think people in The Bachelor tried to go, Ben, you
- 25:34Speaker 3: there must be a dark side, right, Oh, he has
- 25:36Speaker 3: this dark side thing going on, So maybe I do.
- 25:39Speaker 3: I'd love to have a little bit of a dark side.
- 25:40Speaker 3: I would love to find that dark side if it exists.
- 25:43Speaker 3: But my point always was like, do you just have
- 25:47Speaker 3: to understand that this is not my life. It's not
- 25:50Speaker 3: that I have a hidden secret, It's that this is
- 25:53Speaker 3: not my life, and I want to know that you're
- 25:55Speaker 3: in it no matter what.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, he did give a specific this time. He said,
- 26:00Speaker 2: my last relationship with this woman in Hawaii, she told
- 26:03Speaker 2: me that I didn't make her feel special enough, and
- 26:08Speaker 2: that that could be something that he wasn't mature enough
- 26:13Speaker 2: in the relationship at the point to give her everything
- 26:15Speaker 2: that she needed. But also like maybe they just weren't
- 26:19Speaker 2: a compatible match.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't even know what that means. I hear that, like,
- 26:22Speaker 3: you don't make me feel special enough. I have no
- 26:24Speaker 3: clue what that means. Yeah, I don't know how to
- 26:27Speaker 3: do that as a partner, Like I wouldn't know how
- 26:29Speaker 3: to other than to support my wife well and to
- 26:34Speaker 3: like make her feel beautiful and go on dates and
- 26:38Speaker 3: you know, look at her and sit down with her
- 26:40Speaker 3: for dinner and listen to her when she wants to
- 26:41Speaker 3: tell me a story. Like I don't know how to
- 26:43Speaker 3: make any other human feel anything differently, than what they're
- 26:49Speaker 3: feeling about themselves.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Well, I heard recently this week. I'm not sure if
- 26:53Speaker 2: it was you that said it that like somebody was
- 26:55Speaker 2: in marriage counseling. Oh okay, it wasn't you know, somebody's
- 26:59Speaker 2: in marriage and the counselor said, if you could, what
- 27:02Speaker 2: are the three things that will make marriage just feel
- 27:07Speaker 2: better for you, make you feel more special? I suppose
- 27:10Speaker 2: if you implemented it this week and it was just
- 27:13Speaker 2: like hug more go to bed at the same time together,
- 27:17Speaker 2: just like even if they're just gonna lie there on
- 27:19Speaker 2: their phone just to be closed and stuff like that.
- 27:22Speaker 2: And we don't know whether or not this woman was
- 27:27Speaker 2: vocal about how to make her feel special, but I
- 27:31Speaker 2: guess if Joey was ignoring the things that she told
- 27:34Speaker 2: him would make her feel.
- 27:35Speaker 4: Better, that's a lesson learn though.
- 27:37Speaker 3: That's not like a that's not a character flaw, that's
- 27:39Speaker 3: not something that like he wants to continue doing. I'm
- 27:42Speaker 3: just saying, if I enter into any romantic relationship and
- 27:45Speaker 3: the person's like, what I need from you is for
- 27:47Speaker 3: you to make me feel special, I said, okay, how
- 27:49Speaker 3: can I do that? And they're like, just make me
- 27:51Speaker 3: feel special. Yeah, of course I was lost, like I've
- 27:53Speaker 3: got nothing.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Hopefully the person would be explanatory as to what would
- 27:59Speaker 2: make them feel good.
- 28:00Speaker 4: I've got I do not have that trade.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Neither you and I are very concerned about Joey making
- 28:05Speaker 2: people feel special or Joey being a good partner. Okay,
- 28:08Speaker 2: so let's continue with the Daisy date. My biggest complain
- 28:11Speaker 2: about this date was that there was like too much
- 28:15Speaker 2: making out and not enough talking.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I wonder too. I don't know Daisy just
- 28:23Speaker 3: being as a human, you know. But Sondra's advice to
- 28:26Speaker 3: Daisy was to spice things up a little bit. I
- 28:29Speaker 3: think you can summarize it with like, hey, you can
- 28:30Speaker 3: find ways to spice this up a little bit.
- 28:33Speaker 2: That you cat me. You're right. That was supposed to
- 28:36Speaker 2: be the theme.
- 28:37Speaker 3: It was the theme like, Daisy, you and Joey have
- 28:39Speaker 3: great conversation, you connect on great levels, right, you have
- 28:42Speaker 3: this playful relationship. But I think Daisy left that conversation
- 28:46Speaker 3: with Sonder being like I'm going full force into sex
- 28:50Speaker 3: it up. Yeah, like let's let's make out like I
- 28:53Speaker 3: want to, Like I mean, I mean it was set
- 28:56Speaker 3: up with like a shower scene.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Yeah, it was also set up.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Basically, they were the ATV for like three seconds and
- 29:03Speaker 2: then they just shower.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Let's go shower. It's like, okay, I mean cool, that's fine, right, Ashley.
- 29:11Speaker 3: You got to tell me if I'm just a perverb.
- 29:14Speaker 3: But there's a line that Daisy says and it makes
- 29:18Speaker 3: me laugh. And I could just be like a middle
- 29:21Speaker 3: school boy here and like not knowing, like and making
- 29:25Speaker 3: everything sexual. But there's a line that Daisy says that
- 29:28Speaker 3: talking about their relationship. But then she says and it's
- 29:30Speaker 3: growing in all the right ways, and they do a
- 29:35Speaker 3: slow mod camera down to like their crosh line. Oh
- 29:38Speaker 3: so okay, And I'm like, that's either very ironic or
- 29:42Speaker 3: this show has weird minds.
- 29:44Speaker 4: But it made me giggle. I don't know if anybody
- 29:46Speaker 4: else recognize this. It did make me giggle.
- 29:48Speaker 3: And I and I don't like that there's an innuendo there.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Of course I didn't pick up on it. I don't
- 29:56Speaker 2: know why. Now I feel like.
- 29:58Speaker 4: So I am a weirdo.
- 29:59Speaker 3: No, I feel I get it. I knew I would be.
- 30:02Speaker 3: I just had to say it, no.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Knowing Daisy's sense of humor. I think she said it
- 30:05Speaker 2: on purpose.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Okay, it was very quick, but like she's talking and
- 30:09Speaker 3: then they do this like slow mode down to them
- 30:11Speaker 3: in the shower at you know, at a sight line
- 30:14Speaker 3: that's like none of us really care to see that. Anyways,
- 30:17Speaker 3: this isn't why we're watching the show. But she's saying
- 30:19Speaker 3: this in the background as it's talking. I'm like, I
- 30:22Speaker 3: wonder if that's just one of those moments where an
- 30:23Speaker 3: editor was behind the scenes being like perfect, so good,
- 30:27Speaker 3: now this.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Is everybody is involved with that. I'm once again watching
- 30:30Speaker 2: this in my kid's playroom, like with him, like playing
- 30:33Speaker 2: with cars in the background. So like I may not
- 30:35Speaker 2: have picked up on like this sextual stuff, you know,
- 30:39Speaker 2: the puns, but I know producers and I know that.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Like they pulled her aside to just do a little
- 30:46Speaker 2: in the moment interview and then they were like, would
- 30:49Speaker 2: you say that it's growing in all the right directions?
- 30:52Speaker 2: And then she was like I would say, it's.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Yeah, just dirty, dirty humans. Yeah. This day is definitely
- 31:11Speaker 4: a more physical day.
- 31:12Speaker 3: The chemistry and connection is as strong as I've felt
- 31:16Speaker 3: the whole time. There is no lagging for me with
- 31:19Speaker 3: the date.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Oh see there was wow. So I was like, oh,
- 31:24Speaker 2: I think this is an order. I think the dates
- 31:26Speaker 2: are in order because when he saw Daisy and when
- 31:29Speaker 2: she was like I forgot something or like one more
- 31:32Speaker 2: thing I have for you.
- 31:33Speaker 4: Oh, I do agree with this.
- 31:34Speaker 2: You didn't seem that excited about he was like, okay,
- 31:37Speaker 2: ready now, Yes, it looks like he was like, I'm
- 31:40Speaker 2: not ready to move on to the Kelsey date.
- 31:43Speaker 4: You're right, And I did pick up on that.
- 31:45Speaker 3: I knew exactly what you're gonna say when you said
- 31:46Speaker 3: it was yes, he goes there's one, and it was
- 31:49Speaker 3: that like it was very cute and very like kind
- 31:53Speaker 3: of spur of the moment. But yeah, his response was
- 31:55Speaker 3: like all right, cool, we're good now, Like, yes, it
- 31:57Speaker 3: felt like it wasn't what he wanted at the time.
- 32:00Speaker 2: I know, I think he got there like they got
- 32:03Speaker 2: hot and heavy and all that, but but initially I
- 32:07Speaker 2: don't think he was in the right mindset.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Yeah, well, fantasy sweet week is you know, you're going
- 32:15Speaker 3: back to back to back. You're not getting any sleep
- 32:17Speaker 3: no matter what is going on in the Fantasy Suite room.
- 32:20Speaker 3: It is more connectionable than any other week. We at
- 32:27Speaker 3: date three, you're pretty much like I cannot wait to
- 32:31Speaker 3: get this over with because I think the show typically
- 32:33Speaker 3: gives you almost like two days to rest.
- 32:36Speaker 2: I was gonna say, Ben, can you give us a timeline.
- 32:38Speaker 2: I'm sure you've done this before, but please refresh all
- 32:41Speaker 2: of our memories. Do you have back to back fantasy
- 32:44Speaker 2: sweet days or do you have in between days?
- 32:46Speaker 3: You have a you have you usually get done with
- 32:49Speaker 3: it's exhausting, So you have a fantasy suite day date,
- 32:54Speaker 3: spend the night, wake up usually early early, you know,
- 33:00Speaker 3: have breakfast. You're usually i would say, leaving that dat
- 33:02Speaker 3: at ten am. Okay, you're leaving the day at ten am.
- 33:05Speaker 3: You go and do your ITMS, so you do the
- 33:07Speaker 3: interviews till lunch. You have lunch. After lunch, typically you're
- 33:13Speaker 3: doing like pickups till like five okay, So like you're
- 33:19Speaker 3: do either doing media interviews, you're doing like behind the
- 33:23Speaker 3: scenes like shots, you're doing b roll, you're doing anything
- 33:26Speaker 3: that like that episode needs. As the lead, the as
- 33:30Speaker 3: a contestant, you're kind of like free, you're not really
- 33:33Speaker 3: doing much. You're just kind of chilling after that, but
- 33:36Speaker 3: the lead and you're full grind until like dinnertime. Then
- 33:40Speaker 3: after dinner time you're going to sleep and you're waking
- 33:42Speaker 3: up the next morning and starting all over again right
- 33:44Speaker 3: like very early again, So you don't really get it.
- 33:48Speaker 4: I mean, you do get a day, at.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Least you have one buffer day where you're not seeing someone.
- 33:52Speaker 3: Those days were more exhausting for me because you're just
- 33:54Speaker 3: getting thrown around and you're getting tossed around in a
- 33:57Speaker 3: thousand directions and asked a thousand questions about all these dates.
- 34:00Speaker 3: And by the time you're at date three, you're getting
- 34:03Speaker 3: asked questions now about the week and your feelings and
- 34:07Speaker 3: the comparisons and all those things.
- 34:09Speaker 4: You're so tired.
- 34:11Speaker 3: So is it weird that he's kind of over it? No,
- 34:14Speaker 3: does it say anything about their relationship. I don't think
- 34:16Speaker 3: it does, because he did get into it at some point,
- 34:21Speaker 3: but he's probably like I would prefer again, I'd prefer
- 34:24Speaker 3: just to not have any dates this week.
- 34:26Speaker 4: I'm so tired. I'm so tired.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I'm just glad that you have one day
- 34:31Speaker 2: in between. So it sound like you're going from one fantasy.
- 34:34Speaker 4: To you just couldn't.
- 34:35Speaker 2: I mean, there's just yeah that you couldn't rag them
- 34:39Speaker 2: out without rag them out.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Well well yeah, literally, goodness, Ashley, holy cow.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Okay, moving on, anything else about Daisy's date.
- 34:51Speaker 3: No, you picked up on it. I do think it
- 34:53Speaker 3: didn't lack. Again, I'll go back and I'll say none.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Kelsey and Daisy did not set there's relationships back for me.
- 35:00Speaker 3: I do think there was that weird moment that felt
- 35:02Speaker 3: like off a little bit. It could have just been off.
- 35:05Speaker 3: But I'll leave Daisy's day going one hundred percent. In
- 35:10Speaker 3: my mind, if I was a betting man, it's Daisy
- 35:12Speaker 3: and Kelsey next week. Rachel's going home in a very
- 35:15Speaker 3: sad exit because I think she's great, but I do
- 35:19Speaker 3: think she's going home. I think Daisy and Kelsey will
- 35:21Speaker 3: be there at the end.
- 35:22Speaker 2: I think he's gonna eliminate Rachel, not in a Row ceremony,
- 35:25Speaker 2: because I don't think we've got any teases of a
- 35:28Speaker 2: Row ceremony with three girls standing there.
- 35:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think he.
- 35:31Speaker 3: I think Rose ceremonies at this point are very optional
- 35:35Speaker 3: and I don't think they're necessary. I don't think they're needed.
- 35:37Speaker 3: I think the only thing we might see is you know, him,
- 35:40Speaker 3: talk to whoever he's sending home. They go home, and
- 35:42Speaker 3: then the two others show up to a Row ceremony.
- 35:45Speaker 3: He's like hey, you're here, Like, and then my favorite
- 35:49Speaker 3: part of every season happens. You know what that is
- 35:52Speaker 3: nil in now the very awkward three person hug with
- 35:58Speaker 3: the two in people end and the lead giving this like, hey,
- 36:03Speaker 3: we're still in it together, Like very awkward moment.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's very awkward where.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Everybody stands around and you still cheers together.
- 36:12Speaker 3: You're looking at the other person and you're like, we
- 36:15Speaker 3: were way past this, Like I don't I like you
- 36:17Speaker 3: as a human. I don't want to see you here, like, yeah,
- 36:20Speaker 3: this is very awkward for me. This is my boyfriend.
- 36:22Speaker 3: The other person's going, this is my boyfriend, Like it's
- 36:26Speaker 3: it's a very weird scenarios.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Very weird. I don't know. I don't know if I
- 36:30Speaker 2: first see that that eve that even moment, even because
- 36:33Speaker 2: we haven't seen anything like that, we haven't seen these
- 36:35Speaker 2: girls with justice. To keep this fast forwarding to the
- 36:38Speaker 2: finale scene, which is the last point I really want
- 36:41Speaker 2: to make on this podcast, is there have been some
- 36:46Speaker 2: spoiler esque things that have come out over the past
- 36:49Speaker 2: couple of weeks from multiple people in the franchise. I'm
- 36:53Speaker 2: not going to call out who they might be, and
- 36:55Speaker 2: there's multiples yeah, And Jesse's voiceover made me think that
- 36:59Speaker 2: they are almost like playing into that because he said,
- 37:02Speaker 2: like you think you think you know what's gonna happen,
- 37:05Speaker 2: Like you don't. Okay, Am I overreact? Am I overanalyzing
- 37:09Speaker 2: that line? Because I really do, in my in my soul,
- 37:13Speaker 2: I I think I know who he ends up with. Okay,
- 37:17Speaker 2: but I don't think it's going to be a conventional
- 37:19Speaker 2: happy ending because it keeps teasing that it's not going
- 37:21Speaker 2: to be. And maybe the Tea's is just so so good.
- 37:24Speaker 2: But Jesse also says that we've never seen anything like that.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no. Even Joey himself says this couldn't have
- 37:29Speaker 2: possibly happened before, has it.
- 37:32Speaker 3: He says that I think Joey's saying it holds a
- 37:36Speaker 3: different weight from me. You know, remember how you and
- 37:39Speaker 3: I started to complain a few years ago about how
- 37:41Speaker 3: the show overhyped everything, like they were like the most
- 37:46Speaker 3: dramatic season ever.
- 37:47Speaker 2: You know, the only thing that really lived up was
- 37:49Speaker 2: Hannah Brown moving the podium and then the whole we
- 37:53Speaker 2: did a windmill, and then the fence and then the
- 37:55Speaker 2: fence jump. Those are like the things that were like
- 37:58Speaker 2: I gotic.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, like one hundred percent right. So I'm hoping
- 38:03Speaker 3: the show isn't going back and falling back into that
- 38:06Speaker 3: like kind of rhythm of over dramatizing for the public
- 38:10Speaker 3: to stay and pay attention, because it ultimately the show
- 38:13Speaker 3: loses the fans trust, which I think is why people
- 38:15Speaker 3: stop watching. Yeah, but with Joeys saying it, I do
- 38:19Speaker 3: think there's something that neither you nor I know that happens.
- 38:25Speaker 3: My gut tells me it's not as big of a
- 38:28Speaker 3: deal as what they're hyping it up to be. But
- 38:33Speaker 3: I don't know that for certain, Like I have no idea.
- 38:35Speaker 4: I'm just saying I don't.
- 38:37Speaker 3: I don't know what that could be. Like, I have
- 38:40Speaker 3: no idea what could happen here in the final two
- 38:45Speaker 3: that makes it something that's never happened before. But the
- 38:48Speaker 3: show has surprised me every season that feels like there's
- 38:51Speaker 3: something different that happens at the very end that you know,
- 38:55Speaker 3: really throws us for a loop.
- 38:57Speaker 4: I just don't know what it could be.
- 39:00Speaker 2: It could be as simple but dramatic as the woman
- 39:04Speaker 2: who doesn't get picked just having a very strange reaction.
- 39:09Speaker 4: Yes, smacking them.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, that would be something that we've never seen before. Question.
- 39:17Speaker 3: I don't see it with these two. I don't see it.
- 39:19Speaker 3: I don't see it with these two. Who knows it's
- 39:24Speaker 3: gonna keep us engaged intrigued, Not like that we need
- 39:26Speaker 3: anything to keep us engaged in intrigued. This season, I
- 39:29Speaker 3: think the fans are very happy with how the season's going.
- 39:31Speaker 3: I'm getting more people than ever coming up to me
- 39:33Speaker 3: being like, are you watching the season? What do you
- 39:35Speaker 3: think happens with Joey? I do you know in my
- 39:39Speaker 3: workout class that I take here, the hot pilates that
- 39:43Speaker 3: duality in Denver, it's me about three other dudes and
- 39:47Speaker 3: thirty women. I know for the first time they're watching
- 39:51Speaker 3: this season. I've been going here for three four years.
- 39:54Speaker 3: This season, they're asking me more questions than ever. It's
- 39:57Speaker 3: funny for me. They're very engaged this Yeah.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I got to see my best friend yesterday and she
- 40:03Speaker 2: hasn't watched the show in years, and she was asking
- 40:05Speaker 2: me a whole bunch of questions.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Yeah, it's great, It's really fun. Okay, Ashley, we are
- 40:09Speaker 3: going to close out here. We do have a lot
- 40:11Speaker 3: more content to get prepared for. We have a big
- 40:14Speaker 3: week ahead of us. Obviously, we're continue to breakdown the
- 40:17Speaker 3: Bachelor season. We got almost good advice, which has been
- 40:20Speaker 3: a ton of fun and a big success for us.
- 40:22Speaker 3: We have some great interviews coming out, so we do
- 40:24Speaker 3: have a busy week in front of us. To kind
- 40:26Speaker 3: of close out. I'm not going to share my opinion
- 40:28Speaker 3: because I really don't have one necessarily and not one
- 40:31Speaker 3: that I could speak to. What do you think this
- 40:35Speaker 3: letter is intending and meaning? How do you think we
- 40:38Speaker 3: see that whole letter situation play out? Is it being
- 40:41Speaker 3: over dramatized? Is it a big deal? Is it something
- 40:45Speaker 3: that's very forgettable? Just what's your thoughts?
- 40:47Speaker 2: I think that if there's something between the two, between
- 40:52Speaker 2: the two teases, the note will be the less dramatic event. Okay,
- 40:58Speaker 2: I think it could simply just be Kelsey wanting just
- 41:02Speaker 2: like a little like another conversation, a little bit more affirmation.
- 41:06Speaker 4: Okay, that makes sense. I how about you? I don't know.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Like I said, I don't have an opinion really to
- 41:12Speaker 3: speak on right now. It's I typically can formulate what
- 41:16Speaker 3: I think is going to be. I don't want to
- 41:17Speaker 3: over analyze it because it could be way more emotional
- 41:21Speaker 3: than I expect, and it could be game changing for
- 41:23Speaker 3: the whole process. I will only say this, what if
- 41:30Speaker 3: this is the thing that we're hearing Joey say, this
- 41:32Speaker 3: has never happened before, right, yeah, Oh, but.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I think that we actually see his mouth move.
- 41:39Speaker 4: Oh they're good at that.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Actually, maybe maybe his back is turned, but he is present.
- 41:45Speaker 3: When I put that over, I'm not saying, just don't
- 41:47Speaker 3: leave it out that this could be the moment that
- 41:49Speaker 3: changes everything.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay. Now next week we have women Tell All.
- 41:55Speaker 2: But I also think we're going to get more of this.
- 41:56Speaker 2: I don't think it's going to be a full two hours,
- 41:59Speaker 2: just basically, which is good.
- 42:00Speaker 4: We love it.
- 42:01Speaker 2: We love not seeing a lot of We love not
- 42:03Speaker 2: having a big one.
- 42:05Speaker 3: I can't watch two hours of Sydney and Maria fighting.
- 42:09Speaker 4: We don't.
- 42:10Speaker 2: We want to happy. We want to happy come together
- 42:13Speaker 2: moment for everyone though, and that'll be it.
- 42:16Speaker 4: Don't we all?
- 42:17Speaker 3: Okay, Hey, Ashley, it's been great. We're coming to the
- 42:21Speaker 3: end of the season, which is sad in a lot
- 42:22Speaker 3: of ways, but we do, as I mentioned, have a
- 42:24Speaker 3: lot of good things coming your way here at the
- 42:26Speaker 3: Almost Famous podcast. The fun part about this time of
- 42:31Speaker 3: the year is soon we'll start having these interviews with
- 42:34Speaker 3: some of the people that are your favorites from this season,
- 42:36Speaker 3: including Joey the Bachelor, to you know, the Marias and
- 42:40Speaker 3: the Sydney's hopefully of the world.
- 42:41Speaker 4: We're going to have great interviews.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Coming out, getting more of a lay of the land
- 42:45Speaker 3: of this season and the behind the scenes of everything
- 42:47Speaker 3: going on. So we'll be back, but until next time,
- 42:50Speaker 3: I've been Ben, I've been.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Actually see you guys. Thank you.
