Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Joe.
- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, this is pulling straight from the 12 hour pot of thought I sat there and interviewed for 12 hours.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_01]: And when I tell you this young lady, Ashley Kirkwood is the goat.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_01]: I learned so much about business from her.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sitting there, OK, you're promoting the pot of thought, but when I say this is one of the most valuable sessions that I've had.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: all year.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: So make sure to tap it.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_01]: I need to hear your takeaways, though.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: Make sure you hit the like button.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: Make sure you subscribe and share this with a friend.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: But I want to hear your thoughts in real time from this portion of the 12 hour pot of thought.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: I always tap it.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_06]: A lot of business owners struggle because David, they look at you and they like, oh, David got a podcast.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm going to have a podcast.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_06]: I'm the rich like David.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_06]: So then they need to use their podcast to sell a service, which is what we do.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_06]: But if they want money from YouTube, that means you need to have subscribers and watch time, and if you don't have that That can't be how you plan to make your money because I can't sell a low ticket product when I got low Subscribers and low email is everything can't be low They need to be like I got 10 people in my third dollar month membership everything low baby and so was your bank account that ain't gonna work
- 1:07[SPEAKER_06]: people are learning from influential leaders like us and unfortunately they're comparing their current situation to where we're at now but what no one ever wants to copy from me is what I did before I had people on my list which was sending 100 boys knows myself to everyone who followed me on Instagram
- 1:22[SPEAKER_06]: It was sending out 300 emails myself to every company and CEO that I could find.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_06]: So we made our first million when we really focused on one to two high-performing products and only sold those products.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_06]: And if you want to get even more specific, if you can sell the same product the same way and improve the quality, you will make more money in your business.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not trying to be popular.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_06]: I enjoy being paid.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_06]: So all of my content wasn't about me looking good.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_06]: It was about me solving their pain before they ever paid me.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_06]: And if you can do that with your messaging and with your language, then you'll be able to get people paid.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_06]: How long have you been doing this?
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: 8 a.m. 6 a.m. 10 a.m. so we are on our 10th hour.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_06]: Is it your last one?
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: No, we got two more hours.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: We got two more hours.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: I asked spirit.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: We got 30 minutes.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: Do you talk about talking about?
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: They told me, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: There's shoes, don't say that, don't, don't say to average students.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: You'll say, how you feeling, man?
- 2:53[SPEAKER_06]: I feel great.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_06]: I'm glad to be back in America.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, where was you at?
- 2:57[SPEAKER_06]: I was in Belize.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_06]: I got stranded there yesterday.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_06]: So I came right off the plane to be here with you.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_06]: Plane here, make up, right to here.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's so much stuff we need to talk about because you gave me a masterclass on the phone.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I need y'all to stay tuned because Ashley too is giving away a thousand dollars.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to get some questions did and we're going to get to the money a little earlier.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I apologize.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: So, Ashley, what, you know, you are so multi talented, multifaceted, I don't really know which way we should go in this conversation.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_06]: Let's talk about how they can make more money.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm in their services and products.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_06]: I want to do that.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_06]: Drop money in the chat.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: Drop money in the chat.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_06]: You're almost the end of the year.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_06]: We have a lot of time to make 2025.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_06]: You're best here yet, but you can still do it.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay, so how do we make more money?
- 3:53[SPEAKER_06]: sell more stuff or sell the stuff that works well so if you are a business owner and you've made any amount of money to date then what you would do tonight while you're watching this is you would list out all the products and all the services that you've sold.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_06]: and you would list which ones have made you the most money.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_06]: And that is, the one that's made you the most money is the only one you would focus on for the remaining of the year.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_06]: And it probably means, if you're selling 10 things, you should probably focus on the top two or three.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_06]: So most business owners are spreading themselves to thin with the small team, trying to hit big targets, and it doesn't work.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_06]: So we made our first million when we really focused on one to two high-performing products,
- 4:35[SPEAKER_06]: and only sold those products.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_06]: And if you want to get even more specific, if you can sell the same product the same way and improve the quality, you will make more money in your business.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: What year did you make your first million?
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: 2020, I think it was 2022.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: 2022 is the first calendar million.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_06]: First calendar year, million.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: We're doing this for that.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_06]: 2021, we did about half a million.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_06]: I had two businesses that were both doing half a million dollars, and 2021, and so when we wanted to make one million dollars, we focused all of our efforts on our sales training company, which is speaker way to cash.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_06]: So 2022, first million in that business, 2023, multiple millions in that business, 2024, saying, 2025, saying, 2020, what is it, 2025 now?
- 5:24[SPEAKER_06]: So we'll do four million this year, we did two point one last year and two point six
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: What did you do to double your revenue?
- 5:33[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I stopped doing so much.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's for sure.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_06]: Because I was doing a lot.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_06]: I was selling in a lot of different ways.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_06]: And so one of the things that we teach our mastermind clients and shout out to y'all, because I know something you're all watching is the Dominance Framework.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_06]: So one sales channel that you choose to dominate, one marketing channel that you choose to dominate, one marketing channel.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks and notes, right?
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: That you choose to do it.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: Give me a second.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: What else?
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: Well, because we got to get, we got someone we need to be.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_06]: If y'all are going to take some notes, comment notes.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_06]: Because I'll give y'all some game.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_06]: But if you tie it, I don't know.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_06]: I'll keep it.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_06]: keep it cute.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_06]: But yeah, so the Dominance Framework is simplifying your business to scale and make more money.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_06]: So one sales channel, one marketing channel, one vision, one predominant offer, one sales channel, one marketing channel, one vision, vision, and one offer.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_06]: one offer.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_06]: So when I say dominant, I mean 80% of your effort in time is focused doing that thing.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_06]: So you may have other sales channel, you may do sales calls and webinars, both of which are called sales vehicles.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_06]: So you may sell over the phone, you may sell with webinars, you may sell in the DMs, but your dominant sales vehicle is the one that you should spend 80% of your time.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_06]: and allocate 80% of your teams time doing.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the sales channel.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_06]: That's your sales channels.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_06]: The sales channels just the way you're going to make the sales.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_06]: Your sales vehicle, the way you're going to make the sales.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: What if I do webinars and challenges are you saying I should?
- 7:02[SPEAKER_06]: So your ads will predominantly be your marketing vehicle.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_06]: because if you are, yeah, so if you're doing like a free webinar and I run ads to it, ads is how someone is going to become aware of what I'm doing.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_06]: So marketing is how people learn about me.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_06]: Sales is how I convert them to buying from me.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: OK, so when you say one sales channel, it's one web site.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_06]: It's one way that I'm going to sail and focus on that.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_06]: So for us, yes.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_06]: So for us, we do events.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_06]: That's our predominant sales channel.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_06]: So our virtual and live events are our best sellers.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_06]: Like that's how we sell most of the time.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_06]: But our sales channel used to be sales calls.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_06]: So I used to pitch via email and the predominant way that I sold corporate clients was by pitching via email and then getting them on a sales call.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_06]: So my sales vehicle used to be
- 7:49[SPEAKER_06]: sales costs, but now when we look at selling to SMB small to medium-sized businesses, events work well, live virtual events.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_06]: So a webinar would be an event, a live event like you'll do podcast summit, that would be an event.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_06]: When we look at how we have grown, it's been focusing in on a predominant offer using a one sales channel.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so live and virtual events,
- 8:19[SPEAKER_06]: So the way our ecosystem works and what I recommend everyone does is just having a map of how you're going to sell.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_06]: So we'll do virtual events and every virtual event will sell an offer.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_06]: That offer will include a ticket to our live event and our live event will sell our mastermind level product.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_06]: So $3,200,000 is our mastermind.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_06]: So we'll sell that at a live event.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_06]: But if you look at
- 8:42[SPEAKER_06]: How it all works together.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_06]: I every day.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not selling my mastermind I'm not selling my event tickets.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_06]: I every single Social media post if you go to Instagram right now is promoting our upcoming virtual event That virtual event is where they see everything else.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_06]: So it's not confusing to the market So every month we're doing an event called land big clients at that event I will sell an academy ticket that academy which is a sales training program for CEOs and their teams
- 9:12[SPEAKER_06]: Every day on my socials, I just have one job to promote my virtual event.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_06]: What most entrepreneurs are doing is they're promoting everything.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_06]: They're like, book a call, come to a virtual event, talk to my friends.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, this is my life.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_06]: Get ready with me and you ain't even an influencer.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, I don't sell styling.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_06]: So I may look cute, but that's not what I'm selling.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_06]: So you're not going to see a whole lot of get ready with me.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_06]: And if you are a thought leader, 80% of your content, I believe,
- 9:36[SPEAKER_06]: should be exemplifying what you know.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_06]: It should be you talking about your expertise.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_06]: 20% is like the no-like and trust content.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_06]: But for some reason, everyone wants to be an influencer.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_06]: Now let me explain, I'm influential.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_06]: But an influencer means their job is to get brand deals.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_06]: That's not how we make our money.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm making, I want my content to get me leads and or sales.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_06]: That's the job of my content.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_06]: It's not even to have the most likes and clicks and to be seen as the most coolest person ever.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_06]: It's to get me leads and sales.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_06]: So when we're looking at the success of content and really David, I look at my Instagram content like this.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna take the highest performing reel and that's gonna be what I put paid advertising behind.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_06]: because if it performs well organically, then let me run some money to it.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_06]: And I run my own ads, so.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, this is lit.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_01]: So I have, is this only for coaching, digital offers, stuff like that?
- 10:33[SPEAKER_06]: So our company really specializes in working with certified and licensed experts.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_06]: So most of our clients, our doctor's lawyers, engineers, accountants, they are in the service, their professional services industry.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_06]: And they want to sell more services.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_06]: They've gone to school, they've gotten corporate jobs, and they're like,
- 10:48[SPEAKER_06]: That job didn't give me the dream it promised.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_06]: They're not making millions of dollars.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_06]: They're overworked and they're making six figures, but they're living up to that standard.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_06]: So they got the job, the car, the dog, the husband, the house, and they don't have extra money left over.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_06]: And so they're realizing they have to sell their expertise to large companies or other SMBs in order to make more money.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_06]: And when I say SMBs, other entrepreneurs, other small business owners, that's what I mean by that.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_06]: But it works for anyone, but that's just who we predominantly focus on.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: What if I had a product?
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: So like the young lady came here was a tangy.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: She has the busy book, right?
- 11:21[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_06]: What's that?
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: A busy book is something that helps toddlers learn how to read, shapes, colors, feels, stuff like that.
- 11:28[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: All right there.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a rolling learning busy book.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_06]: That's cute.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_06]: I have a five-year-old.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yes, it's fine.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's okay.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: So how would you go about having her sell that?
- 11:42[SPEAKER_06]: Well, how much is the busy book?
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: Well, like $30, $40, some of that.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_06]: And how much does she spend on ads per month?
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: She does it.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_06]: So she has no ad money, and she has just spent it sell $30 a month, product.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: $30, $40, it's a month, it's a month.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_06]: She's a product.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_06]: So that's the first thing I fix, right?
- 11:59[SPEAKER_06]: I would find a way to give learning deliverables to parents every month.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_06]: So your welcome gift will be the busy book.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_06]: And then every month, parents will pay between $30 to $100 to get new lessons and new activities they can do with their children.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_06]: So now she has recurring revenue.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_06]: And also, I would take the busy book and I would bulk sell it to schools, and then those schools with by hundreds of boxes, and she can sell the schools curriculum to help kids to learn to read earlier.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: So that's how it would fix it.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_06]: And then, too, if you don't have, so here's the thing, y'all, if you have under a thousand people on your email list, drop under in the comments.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_06]: You got to sell differently than somebody with half a million followers and half a million emails in a hundred thousand dollars a month on advertising So a lot of us a lot of business owner struggle because David they look at you and they like oh David got a podcast, so I'm gonna have a podcast and I'm gonna be rich like David and it's like yeah But how many years have you been doing this?
- 12:54[SPEAKER_06]: Oh And you have how many hundreds of thousands of subscribers a lot
- 12:58[SPEAKER_06]: So then they need to use their podcast to sell a service, which is what we do.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_06]: But if they want money from YouTube, that means you need to have subscribers and watch time.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_06]: And if you don't have that, that can't be how you plan to make your money.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_06]: So for Miss Busybook, I would say, okay, I don't know as Ben, I don't have a large email list.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_06]: I can't sell a $30 product right now.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_06]: It's not feasible.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_06]: Because I can't sell a low ticket product when I got low subscribers and low email list.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm gonna be high if you're gonna go low, okay?
- 13:27[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm gonna need my email list to be high.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_06]: Did mama go low, really like I got 10 people in my $30 month membership, everything low, baby.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_06]: And so was your bank account, that ain't gonna work.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_06]: So it just doesn't make sense.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_06]: So like realistically, people are learning from influential leaders like us.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_06]: And unfortunately, they're comparing their current situation to where we're at now, but what no one ever wants to copy from me is what I did before I had people on my list.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_06]: which was sending 100 voice notes myself to everyone who followed me on Instagram.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_06]: It was sending out 300 emails myself to every company and CEO that I could find.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_06]: It was going to every event and either getting paid to speak or speaking for free and taking everyone's email and then following up with them one by one by one.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_06]: Like, that's what you need to copy, because now everybody is easy for me to go to speak.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_06]: I spoke at Funnel Hack and Live, I just spoke at WebinarCon, I can invite it to speak all the time, because now I have something to offer them, which is an audience.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_06]: And here's the other thing, stop following all these successful people y'all, and becoming members of their audience without building your own.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_06]: I have clients who love me, more than they love their own business.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't want that for them.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_06]: I want you to, as much as, as much as you like, I like, I'll actually post, I want to have, I want y'all post to be so good.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like an all-y'all post.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_06]: Make me a member of your community.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_06]: Don't just make me your coach.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_06]: Mmm.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I think we are getting caught up in becoming fans without buying and getting customers.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_06]: I go out and I buy audience so that they can become customers.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not trying to be popular.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_06]: I enjoy being paid.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_06]: So it's not like the popularity came because when they actually bought for me, it was so good that they told other people about me.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_06]: But in the beginning, they didn't know me, they knew their pain.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_06]: So all of my content wasn't about me looking good.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_06]: It was about me solving their pain before they ever paid me.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_06]: And if you can do that with your messaging and with your language, then you'll be able to get people paid.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_06]: So what we did when we wanted to make our first million is we did one to three live launches every single month.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: One to three lives.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: Live launches.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_06]: So we had one big live launch, which would be like a challenge or a webinar, and we would do it every single month.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_06]: But if after that, I did not hit my revenue goals, I did what I want every single business on our watching do.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_06]: I did something else.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_06]: Because people said revenue goals, and it's not a revenue goal, if you get there, if you don't get there, and all you do is just wait for the next month.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_06]: That's a revenue wish, baby.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, that's a wish and on a star.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_06]: You don't want to do that.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_06]: You want to have a revenue goal.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_06]: A goal means that's my target.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_06]: So if I'm 50,000 off from my goal, I'm going to do another launch.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to do another webinar.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to send some emails.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_06]: I don't pick up the phone.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_06]: And that stuff isn't my dominant sales vehicle, but those are my backup.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_06]: So that's why dominating isn't about, I only do one thing.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_06]: It's about, I predominantly do one thing well.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_06]: And there are some other tools in my tool chest that all pull out when I need to go a little bit further.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: You're real good at this.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't know how much your man's money is, but I think on his side up.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: Sign up.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_06]: We got links today.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_06]: My husband and he does sales.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no, he does sales.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let's um, I want to do this.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: But first off, we got a super chat.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know what super chat is?
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: What's a super chat?
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's somebody that's listening to the message.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: And they decide to come out of their pocket and bless another human being who is me.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I, go back.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: Come back, come back, come back, come back.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: Tam, zero, one, one, just gave me a hundred dollars and said, happy birthday.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, happy birthday.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_01]: That makes you feel so good because you don't do that for somebody unless you offer it then some value.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I think,
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe I'm not the person that's offering the most value, but for some reason, I'm connected to amazing people like you.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_01]: That can say something to say, yeah, this is valuable.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_01]: I want to put a seat in the ground of whatever that is, because I appreciate it.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: And that is incredible.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: People that back up one more time.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much for the love.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: You have no idea what that means to me.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: To see these people give them money.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, I just
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: I am blessed.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_06]: With your content, you are an excellent interviewer series.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: We really have a longer session now because I got so many questions.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: But let's actually y'all call in, we're about to do some Q&A real quick and we're going to give way somebody.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: So, I think we're going to take this time to let someone call in, go to socialproofhotline.com,
- 18:06[SPEAKER_01]: call in and you can ask Ashley a question after you ask the question you're gonna give them a question if they answer it right we give them $200 okay I love it I got a chance yes let's go let's go we got to be your body in the waiting room yes we do alright first person we have is Regina come on up
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: How are you entrepreneur?
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: How are you an entrepreneur?
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: I am.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: You get that.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: You get to ask one question and then you're going to get a trivia question for $200.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_00]: Um, first of all, happy birthday.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: This is the amazing, this has been an absolutely amazing day.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: So so um, my question for you Ashley is that I have a podcast show that I'm getting ready to, uh, to launch and I have my e-cook books and I was going to do a membership.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: I canceled my membership and yesterday that I am with you on the calls when I'm not in class.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: And Ella, okay, and so what I wanted to know about my e-cook books is I was going to do it underneath the membership.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: I changed it all the way around because I was told it would be best to have everything for free, not the books, but to have not to have a membership yet to gain the viewers attention of who I am and what we're doing as far as.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: So it's called me thinking
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: and it's all about curvy girls, helping curvy girls to undergird them as far as weight loss, eating healthy or if you want to be plant-based, right?
- 19:53[SPEAKER_00]: So my e-cook books, I was going to have them for, we got to get into the question, we ain't got much time
- 20:03[SPEAKER_01]: Let's ask questions, she'll get, she'll get it, I promise you, she'll understand it.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: So how do I have them coming continuously to purchase e-cook books?
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if you bought one, you bought one, you have it.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_00]: I have like 800 recipes that I have put together, but I'm only rolling them out of you at a time.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: So how do I have people constantly coming?
- 20:31[SPEAKER_06]: So you have an ebook with recipes for Kirby Girls who want to lose weight.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, what they want is to lose weight.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think what they want is to lose.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you're saying be healthy and not other stuff.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_06]: As someone who's just lost 40 pounds, all I want is to lose weight.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_06]: First of all.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_06]: So thank you.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_06]: All I want is to lose weight.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_06]: And so I would focus your offer on that.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think your offer should be cookbooks.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_06]: It sounds like you're just getting started.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_06]: No, no.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_06]: So then what I would do is I would have a weight loss program that for 90 days tells them exactly what to eat if they want to lose weight and it could be called like 30 pounds and 90 days exactly what to eat every single day for 90 days to lose weight and then you just put 90 recipes in there but you sell it as a program not as a book because if I hear book that's cheaper than program and as a bonus to the program they would get the book.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_06]: And as you update recipes, maybe for the rest of the year, you can give them some bonus recipes or additional recipes.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_06]: But I would do a program.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_06]: And a lot of times, people are trying to sell stuff passively from your content.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_06]: But there's two types of selling, right?
- 21:43[SPEAKER_06]: Active selling is when I'm on stage at my event.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_06]: I'm pitching an offer that's active.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_06]: I can see people saying yes or no.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_06]: passive selling is if I make a post and just say click this link and buy.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_06]: It's passive because I can't really track every single person who saw that post to follow up with them and get a yes or a no.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_06]: So if you want to make money consistently, you have to have 80% active selling 20% passive selling.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_06]: So what I would love for you to do is to have your podcast.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_06]: Every episode of that podcast, you send them to a webinar.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_06]: And on that webinar, you sell a weight loss program with your book as a bonus.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_06]: That way, you still get to sell the book.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_06]: You get to be known for that, but it's a bonus.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_06]: And if they don't buy the program a down-till, it could be maybe just just a book without any of the additional support that you're going to do.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_06]: But I would at least sell that program at $3 to $5,000 minimum.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_06]: If not more, depending on how confident you are in your results.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_06]: As a general rule, the more results you get, the higher you can charge because your confidence in what your selling goes up.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm a big fan of charging based on the results.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_06]: As our results grew, so did our prices because I could confidently show and prove the ROI of our programs.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: Really really good.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, we're actually going to skip the question and we're just going to give you the 200 dollars.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we're going to buy 200 dollars worth of your cookbooks.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_01]: You just keep the cookbooks and give away to somebody else's marketing.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, courtesy of Ashley Kirkland.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: So Congratulations on how to do that and yeah, we'll keep it moving.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, Mr. Regina, please go ahead, put your Instagram handle in the chat for us, and I will make sure that we co-ahead and contact you so we can get you your $200.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: You have Instagram, Mr. Jenna, you got Instagram, right?
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I do.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: The bear for violinists.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do it, put it in the chat, we got you.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's try to, we got four more minutes.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do this.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_04]: Tiffany, you're up.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, welcome back.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, hey, hey, it was so we have the birthday days.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_05]: Um, thank you so much.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_05]: Actually, I have a question.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_05]: I actually create content around being a thought leader and empowering people to shift their perspective so that they can create the life that they want to live.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_05]: Um, my content is good, but I'm not, I'm not finding that it's.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_05]: leading to sales.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_05]: And I have a lifestyle brand or an affirming of Caroline that basically aligns with the message for your mind to bring in and our podcasts called for your mind.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_05]: So how do I make that connection?
- 24:13[SPEAKER_05]: Because that's where I feel like my position in is off.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_05]: The content is landing as far as people are receiving the message, but it's not leading them to purchase the apparel.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_05]: How do you know they're receiving the message?
- 24:27[SPEAKER_06]: Because they're
- 24:29[SPEAKER_05]: They're engaging, yeah, engaging, I'm getting messages, I thank you, I need it this, I keep this going, I'm, you know, okay, it's really helpful.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so your content should obviously be helpful, but the way you're going to help them most is if they actually work with you and get the full scope of what you're saying.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_06]: So I would make sure that every piece of content leads them to an event like a virtual event.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_06]: It could be a webinar, if we whatever you want to call it and at that event, you're going to teach them your framework for how their thought leadership content can lead them to the life they love.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_06]: And I would make that more specific because I feel like that's a little, we don't got time to go into it, but I think that little more specific and then you would sell them something on the actual masterclass.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_06]: So the way you judge the success of your content is not likes, right?
- 25:13[SPEAKER_06]: It's are they taking the action I want to take because if they are, that shows that you are influencing your audience and you do want.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_06]: to influence your audience to do what you would say.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_06]: Also, you're not trying to sell from your content.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_06]: I have clients that make 2 million from TikTok.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_06]: She sells from her content, but she is a beast at content.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think people realize the level of beast you got to be to go directly from a post to a sale.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_06]: That's a different level of beast.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_06]: What you want to do though is gauge interest and you want to get them to at least show interest by signing up by giving you their name and your email.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, you're going to take them somewhere else off that busy platform.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_06]: where they can focus on you and at this secondary location, you're going to sell them directly from your masterclass that that way you control the environment.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_06]: But we don't control social media.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_06]: We want to get them in a controllable environment like a zoom room alive, and it's et cetera.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_06]: And we want to sell there where we have a higher ability to stand out and convert.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, got it.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_06]: That's good.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to get you to $1 for asking a question.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, thank you.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_05]: But thank you for that too.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_05]: Have a great day and have a great day.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: Great question.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate you.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_01]: Who's next?
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: Do we got one more?
- 26:21[SPEAKER_03]: Good question.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_03]: Next up, we have is B-Lang.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_03]: Come on up.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_01]: What up?
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: What's the name?
- 26:30[SPEAKER_03]: B-Lang.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: B-Lang.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: We see you.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_03]: in the car with the beanie.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: We just, we just see you.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_03]: Light shining.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yo, be alert.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: You ain't, you know, you good?
- 26:44[SPEAKER_01]: Be, AOB.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: I give $1,000 right now.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: My boy said, be like, are you there?
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: Are you with us?
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you, right?
- 27:01[SPEAKER_03]: now he cannot listen in okay all right we'll just go to the next okay right so Lisa come on up all right what more what more let's go to Lisa to Lisa welcome okay now what's up is it us that they can't hear us
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: Did we get you some money earlier?
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: Did we get you some money?
- 27:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, no bad.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_03]: No, she didn't.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_03]: No, she didn't.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_03]: No, wait.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: No, she's saying.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_03]: She's saying.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: It was horrible.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: But she did say.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_01]: And we gave.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: It was.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: She was.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: Was it good?
- 27:37[SPEAKER_01]: Or no.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: Watch.
- 27:40[UNKNOWN]: Ha.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: Ha.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, good.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_01]: Get your question in.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: We got two minutes.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_02]: is it a lie?
- 27:55[SPEAKER_02]: So my question is, I recently had to pivot in the industry that I was in due to license and having a proper setup.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_02]: So now I'm resetting myself up for business to business and that product is seamless.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_02]: So that's one of that corner, however, I have many skills and I want to make some money, right?
- 28:14[SPEAKER_02]: And since I have to put that on the back corner and plan that to a business
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: offer something to my audience, at least that I'll offer before, or something.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a model, I make up as well, I'm just a conference, I'm just an outgoing person.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_02]: So what advice would you have for me and my position right now?
- 28:38[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, so my advice to you number one will be to get centered.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_06]: And when I say centered, I mean, I want you to get more sure.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_06]: So you've said, I'm a nice person.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_06]: I'm makeup artist.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_06]: I do this.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_06]: I got the CMOS business.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_06]: It sounds like there's a lot going on.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_06]: And I believe that you know exactly what you could do right now to focus.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_06]: And I believe what happens is,
- 28:57[SPEAKER_06]: When life throws us curve balls, it's covered up by all of the noise and all of our thoughts.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_06]: So the first thing that I would do is I would just get centered and figure, and I would just decide what you are going to focus on for the next six months.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_06]: One thing.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_06]: So if it's gonna be makeup, let's go all in on makeup.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_06]: If it's gonna be, you said you're a nice person, I have clients that have sold kindness workshops to companies for $25,000.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_06]: If it's gonna be kindness, let's focus on kindness and sell that B to B.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_06]: But let's focus and let's get all your licenses and everything that you need to gather up front.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_06]: To sell to companies, you don't particularly need any special license.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_06]: You do need an offer.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_06]: And after you have an offer, you're gonna need a sales vehicle.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_06]: How are you going to sell it?
- 29:41[SPEAKER_02]: My product was CMOS, just to make sure I didn't say kind, just to make sure that part of the product was CMOS.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, life is a bone that I have to get together before I can bring the proper basis to base.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: Because that's, I understand.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_06]: I understand, but what I'm saying is right now you need to make money while you get all that together, you may want to go into selling something that doesn't require additional licenses and certifications using the skill sets you already have, but you're going to have to just decide on one to focus on over the next six months so that you can move forward and make some money.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_01]: Taliza.
- 30:20[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: You already want to make some money so we won't get you all hot at all, just take the information.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_01]: go for only because we're at a time.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for the love.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, listen, it makes you on DM actually right now.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_01]: She's a wealth and knowledge of y'all really need her on social group podcast coming back.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: She's got a longer conversation.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_01]: He did.

- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: me a DM please let everybody know how they can get in touch with you and y'all just don't in the chat thank you mate cuz the rest we got to spin the wheel and give the rest of the money back cuz I think we do 500 now 400 yeah I give the other 500 away there are spin wheel email thing but yeah let everybody know what you do for people and how they can connect
- 31:09[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so we hope licensed and certified experts sell more services, utilizing our, oh, we hope licensed and certified expert sell more services using our frameworks.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_06]: And all that means is we teach sales to put business owners.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_06]: And you can find me on Instagram at the Ashley Nicole show.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_06]: And we're doing a bit right now called landbakeclients.com.

- 31:48[SPEAKER_06]: We didn't talk about events and we got to do that next time.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yes, absolutely.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, cuz yes Yes, yes
