- 2:16Speaker 6: I take back some of the things I said about you, man,
- 2:19Speaker 6: Thanks buddy, I appreciate that. I mean, guys, we got
- 2:22Speaker 6: we got the punk punch trump hads, we.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Got you got it. You ust have got one of
- 2:28Speaker 2: the limited releases.
- 2:30Speaker 6: Probably we got uh woodoo grape Okay, and then we
- 2:34Speaker 6: got Ultra Wild Passion.
- 2:37Speaker 7: Guys.
- 2:38Speaker 6: If there's something about me, I am known for my
- 2:40Speaker 6: Ultra Wild Passion baby show up on the way in July,
- 2:43Speaker 6: if you know what I mean.
- 2:45Speaker 7: We got all three, so we're excited. Thank you, Matthew.
- 2:51Speaker 2: What happened earlier? Why did Taylor's desk us uh Brookston done?
- 2:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah bo yeah Ultra old Passion guy.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Yep down oh my shot.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Slap on that bricks and done.
- 3:06Speaker 5: Baby l Shue Baseball one last night. Yeah, hell yeah, Ruisie. Yeah,
- 3:17Speaker 5: fifteen to five.
- 3:19Speaker 6: It's called fifteen runs. Oh, they probably tore the cover
- 3:22Speaker 6: off the ball.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Fifteen runs.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah, well there was some some fingers.
- 3:26Speaker 4: It was some old eras by the old Bulldogs.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Louisiana Tech now drops to fifteen to eleven on the air,
- 3:32Speaker 5: LSU improves to seventeen and nine.
- 3:36Speaker 4: There's not going to be like a ton of takeaways.
- 3:38Speaker 5: I mean, your starting pitcher went two thirds of an inning, right,
- 3:41Speaker 5: so now a ton of takeaways like off the mound.
- 3:44Speaker 5: A lot of different guys pitch for you only I
- 3:48Speaker 5: think what three people actually pitched at least a full
- 3:50Speaker 5: inning in this.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Game for LSU.
- 3:54Speaker 5: If you're going to try to find something in the lineup,
- 3:57Speaker 5: Jake brown Head Omar continued to hit. Guryel continued, well,
- 4:03Speaker 5: not continued. He certainly looked more like his old self
- 4:07Speaker 5: in this game. Pearson has a couple of RBIs. But
- 4:11Speaker 5: I'm just not gonna get very excited about Zach York
- 4:14Speaker 5: hitting a home run right now. And I know that
- 4:16Speaker 5: might but too, I know that might seem rude. I
- 4:19Speaker 5: know that might seem like.
- 4:20Speaker 8: Wait, do it an SEC player.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Yeah, you need his bat to catch up what they say.
- 4:24Speaker 7: That was his first one in like a month.
- 4:25Speaker 3: So I've seen too many uncompetitive at bats and watching
- 4:28Speaker 3: too many of.
- 4:30Speaker 9: Watch Tim watch three meatballs right down the middle.
- 4:35Speaker 8: Go By doesn't even take the bat off his shoulders.
- 4:38Speaker 9: I've watched people swing at ball four and get a
- 4:41Speaker 9: double play off of that.
- 4:43Speaker 8: Do it an SEC play.
- 4:44Speaker 3: We're ready, like we are, we are sitting there, We're
- 4:47Speaker 3: you know, we're big body guds around here. We love one,
- 4:50Speaker 3: so we're ready. We're ready to cheer for you every
- 4:52Speaker 3: great l Shue base. We're just going to We're gonna
- 4:55Speaker 3: hold our enthusiasm, Yeah, until we see it a little
- 4:58Speaker 3: bit more because we've seen. We can't unwatch what we've
- 5:00Speaker 3: seen the last couple of weeks, which hadn't been great.
- 5:02Speaker 3: And I think he would probably be if he was
- 5:04Speaker 3: sitting here, he'd be the first one to tell you that,
- 5:06Speaker 3: right go ahead.
- 5:08Speaker 8: I was gonna say, do I want to meet like
- 5:10Speaker 8: win midweek games?
- 5:11Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:11Speaker 8: Am I going to be impressed that we did it? Absolutely?
- 5:14Speaker 9: Not, Like I don't care if it's a run rule
- 5:17Speaker 9: or not. Like we have not seen anything that's good
- 5:22Speaker 9: in SEC play and Louisiana Tech had three errors on
- 5:27Speaker 9: the night that you scored off of.
- 5:30Speaker 8: They walked a whole bunch of people.
- 5:31Speaker 9: It was the same situation with like on Friday or
- 5:34Speaker 9: I guess the Thursday night.
- 5:35Speaker 8: Game with Oklahoma.
- 5:37Speaker 9: That's why you won the game because they had a
- 5:39Speaker 9: bunch of errors and they gave you all those runs.
- 5:41Speaker 9: They gave you the opportunity to do it. So like, yeah, cool,
- 5:45Speaker 9: two home runs going two for four, four RBI for
- 5:47Speaker 9: Zach York.
- 5:48Speaker 8: That's awesome. Great, Yeah, do it an sec play.
- 5:52Speaker 2: We want to get excited. Tell us on that video. Yeah,
- 5:54Speaker 2: I have it. Okay, where are you about the show?
- 5:58Speaker 3: Okay, no, no, So there was one like I was watching,
- 6:02Speaker 3: I watched a little bit. I was off and on
- 6:03Speaker 3: kind of watching it. Last night there was one of
- 6:05Speaker 3: the most impressive plays I've seen this year by l
- 6:08Speaker 3: s u Omar cerna head first slide into home plate
- 6:11Speaker 3: last night.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Did you see this? It was incredible to take you show.
- 6:15Speaker 2: The club.
- 6:17Speaker 8: Is korel at bat hits it off the wall in center.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Field hall and they got him dead to rights. I mean,
- 6:30Speaker 3: a little bit unathletic. He thought he was going feet first.
- 6:34Speaker 8: He decided last second, ago feet first, but he.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Did the all left hand first. Nope, take back, reach
- 6:40Speaker 3: around with them.
- 6:40Speaker 2: That's great.
- 6:41Speaker 6: That slide is kind of equivalent to l Shues wins
- 6:44Speaker 6: this season. You're like, I think it's good. Yeah, I
- 6:47Speaker 6: think it's good. But the the ending, the finish of
- 6:49Speaker 6: it was fantastic. Head first, Okay, yeah they did they
- 6:57Speaker 6: kept it.
- 6:58Speaker 5: He has been a breads the fresh air. Yes, he
- 7:02Speaker 5: is right now the third best hitter on your team
- 7:05Speaker 5: as far as average, and he is quickly climbing.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Yeah, come on, jah, I don't call him slow Mar.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I mean no.
- 7:11Speaker 5: They did the same thing to Omar Spates. They called
- 7:15Speaker 5: him slow Mar Spates. No, it was Matthhouse defense.
- 7:18Speaker 2: It was it made him.
- 7:19Speaker 5: That's why he's a starting linebacker for the La Rams.
- 7:22Speaker 5: That good, probably the second best team in the NFL.
- 7:25Speaker 6: But no, to go back there last night, it just
- 7:28Speaker 6: didn't feel dominant. You know, at any point, Like I understand,
- 7:30Speaker 6: you get a run rule win and people could say,
- 7:33Speaker 6: I will tell you you can't dominate these teams even
- 7:36Speaker 6: if you have, you know, a big talent advantage that
- 7:38Speaker 6: you just baseball. I understand that, I get that, but
- 7:42Speaker 6: this is always what it looks like Ilishu has never
- 7:45Speaker 6: looked dominant in these midweek games. Like it's always oh yeah,
- 7:49Speaker 6: you put up a lot of runs. You're just kind
- 7:51Speaker 6: of going through the motion. You took advantage of the
- 7:52Speaker 6: other team's mistakes, which is fine, but just last night
- 7:56Speaker 6: doesn't really instill a lot of confidence. I mean, like,
- 7:58Speaker 6: like we were just talking about it, it's kind of
- 8:00Speaker 6: just reminiscent of the Oklahoma series. Everybody came back and said, oh,
- 8:04Speaker 6: we told you they were going to turn it around.
- 8:05Speaker 6: They win seven to one, they dominate Oklahoma. It's like, guys,
- 8:08Speaker 6: they're starting pitcher walk six batters. So like you didn't
- 8:11Speaker 6: do anything to beat Oklahoma in that Thursday night game.
- 8:15Speaker 7: You just capitalize all of their mistakes. That's kind of
- 8:17Speaker 7: what it felt like.
- 8:18Speaker 6: I mean, yeah, Zach York's two home runs, great, awesome,
- 8:21Speaker 6: Police do it on the weekend when it counts. And
- 8:23Speaker 6: then you look at a guy like Reagan Rick and
- 8:25Speaker 6: we talked about him last week, so good in the
- 8:27Speaker 6: midweek two weeks ago, he went two innings. I think
- 8:29Speaker 6: he had four strikeouts, and there's two innings. He took
- 8:32Speaker 6: a step back last night. It's just if it's not
- 8:34Speaker 6: one thing, it's another like I'm happy about the win,
- 8:36Speaker 6: but I don't know if this changes a lot.
- 8:39Speaker 9: Like, yeah, I get there's someone's in the chat. You're
- 8:41Speaker 9: supposed to score off other team's mistakes.
- 8:43Speaker 8: Yeah, you get that.
- 8:44Speaker 9: I absolutely get that, and I'm glad that we do,
- 8:47Speaker 9: and whenever we do, we win the game. But I
- 8:49Speaker 9: want to be able to win the game without Oklahoma
- 8:52Speaker 9: or Louisiana Tech giving up three five errors. Yeah, Like
- 8:56Speaker 9: that's all I'm saying, Like, I get it you one
- 8:58Speaker 9: hundred percent. I was saying, like, we need to take
- 9:01Speaker 9: advantage of the other team's mistakes.
- 9:04Speaker 8: And you're doing that.
- 9:05Speaker 9: Cool, But what about when Oklahoma does not give up
- 9:09Speaker 9: any errors and you yeah, like and like, if you.
- 9:12Speaker 6: Haven't played, you can't rely you can't rely on Oh,
- 9:15Speaker 6: don't worry, we'll just wait for the other team to
- 9:17Speaker 6: make a mistake and score runs.
- 9:19Speaker 7: You can't rely on that. You don't know that's gonna happen.
- 9:20Speaker 7: That's that's the point.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Yeah, And you're absolutely right in the chat, like you can't.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Good teams take advantage of other team's mistakes. But the
- 9:30Speaker 3: point is the last couple of weeks, we have not
- 9:32Speaker 3: been that good. Team that you expect to be when
- 9:35Speaker 3: you played below your expectations. Yeah, you're gonna be a
- 9:39Speaker 3: little bit more critical, even in even in the wins.
- 9:41Speaker 9: Well, I also just don't want to be a sunshine pumper,
- 9:44Speaker 9: you know, Like I love LSU baseball, but I'm not
- 9:46Speaker 9: gonna sit here and be like, oh, yeah, they're doing great.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Because they're not going to be like that. Yeah either,
- 9:51Speaker 2: Jase's not going to be like that.
- 9:52Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Players aren't going to say like say those things, right,
- 9:55Speaker 3: So you got to be positive because it's still mid March.
- 10:01Speaker 3: I don't know, slate March.
- 10:02Speaker 9: Yeah, it is really about getting right up, getting hot
- 10:05Speaker 9: at the right time.
- 10:06Speaker 2: But I mean it's time.
- 10:08Speaker 5: It's just it's things that you need to see to
- 10:11Speaker 5: your point though, Like it is getting hot at the
- 10:13Speaker 5: right time, but you need to see progression to get
- 10:15Speaker 5: to that point, right.
- 10:15Speaker 9: Yes, absolutely, just like no, I that's can we see
- 10:21Speaker 9: you go out there and hit on the weekends not
- 10:25Speaker 9: in the midweek like I don't know.
- 10:28Speaker 5: Like for the pitching staff, you saw some of that
- 10:30Speaker 5: development this last weekend with Cason Evans and the way
- 10:33Speaker 5: that he threw I think Cooper Moore before he goes
- 10:35Speaker 5: out with injury, like he's thrown well and William Schmid
- 10:37Speaker 5: had another solid outing. It's like, but that's progressing to that.
- 10:41Speaker 5: So if you get hot on the mound with your
- 10:42Speaker 5: starting staff, okay, But it's like for the bats, like
- 10:45Speaker 5: we can't just assume all of a sudden you snap
- 10:47Speaker 5: a finger and then boom, they're hot, right like when
- 10:49Speaker 5: you go and you let look at they're hitting stats.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Right now, You've got Jake Brown at three seventy six,
- 10:57Speaker 5: Derek Curry out three thirty seven, and then it's Omar
- 11:00Speaker 5: Cerna junior.
- 11:01Speaker 4: At two eighty six.
- 11:02Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Yeah, two flairs hitting over three hundred.
- 11:05Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 11:05Speaker 9: Knowledge I was just gonna say, like Omar that that's
- 11:09Speaker 9: gonna get up above three hundred, but he just started
- 11:12Speaker 9: kind of slow.
- 11:13Speaker 8: So, but I don't know.
- 11:16Speaker 9: It's just the other thing that bothers me is that
- 11:18Speaker 9: I feel like they just and you don't know what
- 11:20Speaker 9: goes on behind in the locker room or behind closed
- 11:23Speaker 9: doors or whatever, but it just doesn't feel like there's
- 11:26Speaker 9: a lot of juice or like a lot.
- 11:28Speaker 8: Of like fight or like I don't know, I don't
- 11:32Speaker 8: know if that makes sense.
- 11:33Speaker 4: A lot of piss and vinegar.
- 11:34Speaker 6: Yeah, the lack of leadership too, like we had We
- 11:38Speaker 6: had Jay on a couple of weeks ago, and he
- 11:39Speaker 6: mentioned Zion Theophilis right leaving a note nobody's locker.
- 11:42Speaker 7: Shout out to Zion for doing that. Somebody had to
- 11:44Speaker 7: step up and do it.
- 11:45Speaker 6: You shouldn't need a first year pitcher who predominantly throws
- 11:48Speaker 6: on midweeks to do that. Where is your veteran leadership
- 11:51Speaker 6: on this team?
- 11:52Speaker 2: You don't have it.
- 11:53Speaker 7: You should.
- 11:53Speaker 6: You got veteran players for whatever reason, they're not stepping
- 11:56Speaker 6: up at being vocal leader.
- 11:57Speaker 2: And there's different time.
- 11:58Speaker 3: There's there's leadership that people see that fans can see clearly,
- 12:02Speaker 3: and then there's leadership that you can't see.
- 12:04Speaker 2: And I'm sure they got a lot of that.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I mean you look at some of the
- 12:10Speaker 3: games and yeah, you're wanting went a little bit more juice,
- 12:12Speaker 3: a little bit more just pumping a little bit more
- 12:15Speaker 3: piss and vinegar out there.
- 12:17Speaker 2: You know what I would do, get them a little
- 12:18Speaker 2: bit more gritty.
- 12:19Speaker 3: What Jay, I'd say, no more, no more wrist braces, pads,
- 12:25Speaker 3: no more elbow pads, no more, no more pads, no
- 12:28Speaker 3: more ankle pads. Just take all the things that you
- 12:31Speaker 3: can velcrow on your person. Yeah, during that bat, let's
- 12:35Speaker 3: just take it off, take it off, let's go bat
- 12:36Speaker 3: and gloves. Yeah, when you get well, you get on base.
- 12:39Speaker 3: I don't have to call time out. So if you
- 12:41Speaker 3: can unstrap everything and hand it to the first base.
- 12:43Speaker 6: Gut, How am I supposed to steal and take off
- 12:47Speaker 6: my shindguards though, Matt.
- 12:49Speaker 2: That's a good point. Let's just take off the chin
- 12:50Speaker 2: guards will. But what am I.
- 12:52Speaker 7: Supposed to wear?
- 12:53Speaker 2: It's a good it's a great some chin straps on
- 12:56Speaker 2: this helmets?
- 12:56Speaker 7: Next?
- 12:58Speaker 4: Remember that grow up?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Maybe a Cowboys.
- 13:07Speaker 7: Black elastic band?
- 13:08Speaker 6: Yeah, kid, it was too big for you anyways, hung
- 13:11Speaker 6: down about four.
- 13:13Speaker 2: So forgot The amount of flair baseball players have now
- 13:16Speaker 2: and they go to bat is a little outrageous. Did
- 13:19Speaker 2: that many people getting injured? Was there that many people
- 13:22Speaker 2: getting injured on different parts of their body? I don't
- 13:26Speaker 2: think so Verry Bonds wore because he got hit so much.
- 13:30Speaker 2: That's why you started wearing the elbow pad. I mean,
- 13:35Speaker 2: but I don't know if we got any Berry Bonds
- 13:37Speaker 2: on our team. I'm just you know. Yeah, he was
- 13:41Speaker 2: also like, there's.
- 13:42Speaker 6: At least three Matt True get back to the basics.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Anything with bel crow Soid's bad and gloves take it
- 13:51Speaker 2: off and gorillas school. Just go out there, raw dog,
- 13:56Speaker 2: just a little tape on the finger. Yeah, let's go
- 14:00Speaker 2: back to the basics. That's right, damn travel ball Generation.
- 14:04Speaker 5: All right, we'll take a break and when we come back,
- 14:06Speaker 5: we'll have our guy Devin snow aka hold de Mayo
- 14:09Speaker 5: join us.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Right here on OTV off the bench.
- 14:13Speaker 2: All right.

- 15:47Speaker 7: Tell me what you people are gonna.

- 15:55Speaker 2: Ms J. You can have it.
- 15:56Speaker 4: We're the wolf bag.
- 15:57Speaker 5: So if with you know one of us messed up,
- 15:59Speaker 5: we all messed uh, we're gonna have to walk out
- 16:01Speaker 5: here together.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Who they got me?
- 16:04Speaker 2: Thank got me? Thank God?
- 16:05Speaker 5: Because QB one from the Saint says it's another bust
- 16:08Speaker 5: that says it because you know.
- 16:09Speaker 4: We did that.
- 16:12Speaker 2: In the laundr. We trust on that one.
- 16:14Speaker 4: You can turn it up this a little bit. I
- 16:15Speaker 4: know we got de.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Cat got check. It's so good.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Check me everybody cats they can break all right, Welcome
- 16:24Speaker 5: back in O TV here live from the Raising Kne studio.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Let's go to the phone lines. Now, I got Devin
- 16:27Speaker 4: snow a ka hold DeMeo joins us. Now, Dad, what's
- 16:30Speaker 4: going on? How we doing? How we living?
- 16:32Speaker 10: Yeah, it's a nice bust of rhymes over the legend.
- 16:35Speaker 5: Seriously, I've told this story on the air before death,
- 16:38Speaker 5: but I don't think I've ever told it to you.
- 16:40Speaker 5: I'll never forget my grandma takes us to like Sam
- 16:43Speaker 5: Goodie or one of those spots in the mall.
- 16:44Speaker 4: You know, back in the day.
- 16:45Speaker 5: It's when it used to have singles like cassette singles.
- 16:48Speaker 5: And you know Grandma didn't know. So you know, me
- 16:51Speaker 5: and my brother we go get different ones, right, and
- 16:54Speaker 5: I got back loser and my brother got bust to
- 16:57Speaker 5: rhymes got you all in check and my parents find out, like, oh, yeah,
- 17:01Speaker 5: you got one over on Grandma. Let's put that in
- 17:03Speaker 5: the old cassette player. Let's hear what those things have
- 17:05Speaker 5: to say. It wasn't from Walmart, you know, like mine
- 17:08Speaker 5: was bad to like I'm gonna lose a baby, so
- 17:10Speaker 5: why don't you you know?
- 17:11Speaker 4: That was bad enough.
- 17:12Speaker 5: But then my brother put in buster rhymes and it
- 17:14Speaker 5: was like, yeah, we got in trouble for that one.
- 17:15Speaker 4: It wasn't the Walmart edited version.
- 17:19Speaker 9: Dude.
- 17:19Speaker 10: Let me tell you something speaking of that Walmart editing stuff. Bro,
- 17:23Speaker 10: when I was a kid and my mom bought me,
- 17:25Speaker 10: you know, brought me the Walmart A Byke, I was pessed,
- 17:28Speaker 10: like bro, dude, it was Walmart and k on right,
- 17:32Speaker 10: And the big difference between the two was that came
- 17:35Speaker 10: On had the cursing CDs like that was That's why
- 17:38Speaker 10: we went to Kamar.
- 17:39Speaker 5: They had the about Kmart. Oh my god, I'm freak ripped.
- 17:45Speaker 10: Throwing out for first two CDs I ever got in
- 17:48Speaker 10: my life. I'll never forget this. My mom shoplifted both
- 17:51Speaker 10: of them, and so one was Afroman and the second
- 17:55Speaker 10: one was was the outcast Stanconi, both from came on
- 17:59Speaker 10: both murder those shoplifted.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Wait wait, wait, wait, what did you know in the
- 18:07Speaker 4: moment she was shoplifting?
- 18:09Speaker 10: Oh? Absolutely, just keep talking about me.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Just keep walking.
- 18:12Speaker 10: I mean she was putting them in up hers.
- 18:15Speaker 5: Hey, deaf were a hoodie and his mom's throwing the
- 18:17Speaker 5: singles in the hood of the sweatshirt, like keep walking down,
- 18:21Speaker 5: keep walking bro.
- 18:22Speaker 10: Back in the day. Bro, it's like, you know, you
- 18:25Speaker 10: told my mom walk and came on dude, like that
- 18:27Speaker 10: was you knew what was going on. Same thing if
- 18:29Speaker 10: she wrote a check, bro, it just.
- 18:33Speaker 2: She was writing hot checks.
- 18:35Speaker 10: Oh my god, one of the hottest check writers in
- 18:39Speaker 10: saving entire's history. Why did we get here?
- 18:46Speaker 5: You brought, you brought us, you brought As we were
- 18:48Speaker 5: talking about editing music, all sudden.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Shoplifted.
- 18:54Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, I mean I could go on about this.
- 18:59Speaker 4: I mean, what's the coolest thing the shop left today?
- 19:00Speaker 10: We're on the I mean, you know that was I mean,
- 19:04Speaker 10: those two things were pretty That's pretty good all things consider.
- 19:07Speaker 10: I mean, think about that Afroman CD and people still still.
- 19:10Speaker 2: In the headlines.
- 19:11Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, do you show up? That's crazy?
- 19:14Speaker 2: Oh my god? Yeah, all right.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Shout out to miss Mayo.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Yeah, well she won't.
- 19:24Speaker 10: She won't get your messages.
- 19:29Speaker 4: Wait, that message is not finding what you're saying.
- 19:32Speaker 10: I don't think, I don't, I don't.
- 19:34Speaker 2: I don't.
- 19:36Speaker 10: Norris though, man a.
- 19:39Speaker 9: Talk.
- 19:40Speaker 4: I know, man, that was so dev you didn't join us.
- 19:43Speaker 5: But like so, when I first moved to Baton Rouge
- 19:46Speaker 5: started doing radio here, we had a show we called
- 19:49Speaker 5: it Hanging with Hester and me and Flynn would do
- 19:51Speaker 5: it six to eight at night. And you can get
- 19:53Speaker 5: a little loose six to eight at night on radio, right,
- 19:55Speaker 5: nobody really is listening anyway, so you can talk about
- 19:58Speaker 5: whatever you want to. And so we did the whole
- 20:00Speaker 5: two hour show on Chuck Norris jokes, and it was
- 20:02Speaker 5: based off Joe Burrow wrestling the tire away from Pete
- 20:06Speaker 5: Warner when they were at Ohio State and Joe Burrow
- 20:08Speaker 5: was visiting LSUH and he might come here. So we
- 20:11Speaker 5: based our entire show off Joe Burrow slash Chuck Norris
- 20:14Speaker 5: chokes off that video, and we did two hours for
- 20:17Speaker 5: Chuck Norris and it was one of the most electric
- 20:19Speaker 5: episodes you'll ever listen to.
- 20:21Speaker 10: Yeah, dude, I mean growing up, that's the first time
- 20:23Speaker 10: I ever saw Chuck Norris was in the Bruce Lee movies.
- 20:26Speaker 10: My dad always had him on, so that was the
- 20:28Speaker 10: first time I ever saw him, and I thought he
- 20:30Speaker 10: was a bad dude then, you know, and then I
- 20:32Speaker 10: started Walker Texas Ranger was always on the TV, you know. So,
- 20:36Speaker 10: I mean, I don't know how many episodes they made
- 20:37Speaker 10: a Walker Texas Ranger, but it had to be in
- 20:39Speaker 10: the thousands.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Oh yeah, no doubt the.
- 20:43Speaker 10: The there was constantly running. In my opinion, he was
- 20:46Speaker 10: like the sheriff of the entire state of Texas. Couldn't
- 20:49Speaker 10: tell me anything.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Different, you know, like for real, it's just a documentary.
- 20:53Speaker 10: Yeah, like funny you grew up in Texas. So like,
- 20:55Speaker 10: do people feel highly about Chuck Norris like that?
- 20:58Speaker 2: I mean I think everybody really kind of thinks highly. Check.
- 21:01Speaker 2: We certainly did. We certainly did. And to do what
- 21:05Speaker 2: he did with those tight jeans too and boots on
- 21:08Speaker 2: was fair like ultra impressive.
- 21:10Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean yeah, I mean, dude, he was like
- 21:14Speaker 10: this guy has like a Hollywood star theme like in
- 21:17Speaker 10: nineteen eighty nine, you know what I'm saying, Like, dude,
- 21:20Speaker 10: was dou been a legend? I mean, training parting that
- 21:23Speaker 10: Bruce Lee, which is you know, there's only so many
- 21:26Speaker 10: people that interacted with Bruce Lee, and this dude trained
- 21:28Speaker 10: with him.
- 21:29Speaker 2: He stayed relevant in multiple generations people, whether it's the
- 21:33Speaker 2: camel at Dodgeball, and then of course the Chuck jokes like,
- 21:37Speaker 2: I mean, he just multiple generations. Everybody knows Chuck Morris. Yeah,
- 21:43Speaker 2: pouring out.
- 21:45Speaker 4: Uh Death.
- 21:46Speaker 5: So when uh we didn't get you, I believe it
- 21:49Speaker 5: was yesterday because Monday we were on location, so we're
- 21:51Speaker 5: trying to hook up yesterday, I was like, well, maybe
- 21:54Speaker 5: Death stayed up late watching a little raw, you know,
- 21:57Speaker 5: a little WWE. It turns out you were playing, and
- 22:00Speaker 5: uh you're playing a game.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Yea, what game was that again?
- 22:04Speaker 6: Uh?
- 22:05Speaker 10: Zombies? You know I'm traditional video game players, so I'm
- 22:08Speaker 10: still playing zombies, dude. You know what I'm saying, call
- 22:11Speaker 10: of duty. But you know I've been ripping a lot
- 22:13Speaker 10: of calls too, So literally ripping calls until you can't
- 22:17Speaker 10: buy them anymore, Like when the store is all closed.
- 22:21Speaker 10: That's when I'm like, oh damn, yeah.
- 22:26Speaker 4: What kind of cars? S? Tell us everything?
- 22:28Speaker 10: All right? So I'm on USC wrestling football of course,
- 22:32Speaker 10: you know, really keen PANINII, let's see optic prism. Let's see,
- 22:41Speaker 10: got the Mosaiics. But you know, look, man, I've spent
- 22:45Speaker 10: thousands and thousands and thousands on cars the last two years.
- 22:49Speaker 10: I'm still yet to like get that car.
- 22:54Speaker 5: You know, once you do, if you're still doing it
- 22:57Speaker 5: and you hadn't got that card yet, you're in trouble, brother,
- 22:59Speaker 5: because when you do, when you do pull that four
- 23:02Speaker 5: thousand dollars card and you get that a little bit
- 23:04Speaker 5: of that high it'duck turning that off.
- 23:07Speaker 10: Yeah. I'm starting to like question it though.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Man.
- 23:09Speaker 10: I gotta be honest. I know this is like a
- 23:11Speaker 10: common thing about people who rip cards and don't get nothing,
- 23:14Speaker 10: But I just think that something about this is geographical.
- 23:18Speaker 10: I can't help but thinking, man, like yeah, yes, yes,
- 23:24Speaker 10: Like dude, why would you send a whole lot of
- 23:27Speaker 10: like one out of five, one out of one to mattery?
- 23:30Speaker 9: You know?
- 23:35Speaker 10: Yeah, when they looked at it, when they're like, oh yeah, man,
- 23:38Speaker 10: it really got some got some high rollers over it. No,
- 23:41Speaker 10: I mean they send them to California, they send him
- 23:43Speaker 10: to New York, you know. So That's what I'm thinking
- 23:45Speaker 10: going on, man, because like, where where's the John Jones
- 23:48Speaker 10: one on one in Louisiana? Ain't.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and the Breakers are getting a lot of them too.
- 23:54Speaker 3: I don't know, Yeah, you a little your little pub
- 23:58Speaker 3: out there.
- 24:00Speaker 10: I can't stand them dudes, bro, because I go watch
- 24:02Speaker 10: them and they pull in UFC. The dude don't know
- 24:04Speaker 10: any of the names. He can't say any of the names.
- 24:07Speaker 10: But he's got twenty eight boxes hobby boxes behind them,
- 24:10Speaker 10: and I'm like, dude, this is just not right.
- 24:13Speaker 5: You're right, they can't they can't say names, all right,
- 24:16Speaker 5: dav So Flynn and I will text you. I think
- 24:20Speaker 5: we got a couple of things that maybe can help
- 24:21Speaker 5: you out a little bit, maybe what you're looking for.
- 24:24Speaker 5: So we'll kind of text you maybe what to go
- 24:27Speaker 5: out there and look for when you're looking, when you're
- 24:29Speaker 5: going through boxes, and maybe we can get you that hit.
- 24:33Speaker 10: Yeah, man, I'll take anything, you know. I don't look.
- 24:36Speaker 10: I just want to one to ten, one to five
- 24:38Speaker 10: of anything, dude.
- 24:39Speaker 4: You know shit, Gold, Vinyl, Randy Moss, Oh wow.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Y'all want to see me hit the turn this five
- 24:46Speaker 2: hundred dollars box into seventy five buck yet? Watch this?
- 24:52Speaker 4: All right?
- 24:52Speaker 5: Dev man, We appreciate you as always. I haven't laughed
- 24:57Speaker 5: that hard in a very long time. Shout out to
- 24:59Speaker 5: miss Mayo for that. Well, we'll catch up again with
- 25:02Speaker 5: you next week.

- 27:01Speaker 11: Do you guys know what time it is here? I
- 27:05Speaker 11: must love y'all to get up this early on basketball,
- 27:08Speaker 11: but you know your time changed, Jill. I've been tossing
- 27:11Speaker 11: and turning every hour on the hour, and I'd look
- 27:13Speaker 11: at the box and go I hadn't been sleeping but
- 27:16Speaker 11: an hour. Oh, I got it. It's crazy. I'm just
- 27:20Speaker 11: my my time is off, wax. So it's all good,
- 27:23Speaker 11: beautiful here getting ready to go to breakfast with the
- 27:27Speaker 11: team and watch some more film and go to practice
- 27:31Speaker 11: and have a great day in California.
- 27:34Speaker 5: That's right, Coaching. It is early, and we certainly do
- 27:36Speaker 5: appreciate you hopping on with us. Not going to be
- 27:39Speaker 5: a until a nine o'clock tip locally at least, you know,
- 27:43Speaker 5: for us here watching the game on Friday, and so
- 27:46Speaker 5: you know, might have to switch the DCAF coffee to
- 27:48Speaker 5: fully let it coffee on Friday, just to make sure
- 27:50Speaker 5: everybody's ready to go.
- 27:52Speaker 11: Yeah, it's there's what four point thirty game, which is
- 27:56Speaker 11: UCLA and then who they play in Minnesota and then
- 28:05Speaker 11: US at seven, So it'll be a late night back
- 28:08Speaker 11: home for everybody.
- 28:10Speaker 4: That's okay there.
- 28:11Speaker 5: You know, we'll certainly be watching love the scenes from
- 28:13Speaker 5: the p MAC over the last couple of games. So
- 28:16Speaker 5: before coach, we break down this matchup with Dook, who
- 28:19Speaker 5: you've played earlier in the year. Just kind of going
- 28:22Speaker 5: back and seeing the fans show up on Friday, certainly
- 28:26Speaker 5: showing up on Sunday. It's something we talked a lot
- 28:28Speaker 5: about last week with you. I know you had to
- 28:31Speaker 5: appreciate your team's effort, your coach's effort, and then the
- 28:34Speaker 5: fans effort as well.
- 28:37Speaker 11: It was electric. It was what you hope all seniors
- 28:41Speaker 11: get to experience. Well, you hope all your players get
- 28:43Speaker 11: to experience that. But we've seen many of those nights
- 28:46Speaker 11: in the p MAC in the last five years. But
- 28:49Speaker 11: when it was or it is the absolute last game
- 28:53Speaker 11: of the season in the p MAC, and your seniors
- 28:56Speaker 11: Slase and Mama and Izzy get to remember that, it
- 29:03Speaker 11: is special, especially when it's the playoffs. And when you
- 29:06Speaker 11: put on a performance like we did. Man, you wish
- 29:11Speaker 11: you could just bottle that up and take it with
- 29:13Speaker 11: you because it was just one of those games on
- 29:17Speaker 11: both ends of the floor, defensively and offensively where you go, wow,
- 29:24Speaker 11: coach the.
- 29:25Speaker 3: You certainly you play the game. You coach the game
- 29:28Speaker 3: for the wins right and for the for the team victories.
- 29:32Speaker 3: But you had a record that y'all were able to
- 29:35Speaker 3: set this past weekend. I don't know like how you
- 29:38Speaker 3: feel about records, but you scored one hundred points for
- 29:40Speaker 3: the sixteenth time, which is a Division One record sixteen
- 29:44Speaker 3: times this season, scored one hundred points, which is incredible.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Does that do anything for it?
- 29:48Speaker 10: Is that?
- 29:49Speaker 2: Does that? Does that make you proud? Or is it
- 29:52Speaker 2: just like, well, we gotta we we got a job
- 29:54Speaker 2: to finish here.
- 29:56Speaker 11: I won't ever even think of that record. It's just
- 30:00Speaker 11: a team that scores a lot of points. Look, we
- 30:03Speaker 11: scored points against sorry teams. We scored points against meet
- 30:07Speaker 11: you know, mediocre teams, and then good teams, and did
- 30:09Speaker 11: it in the playoffs a couple of times. I'll forget
- 30:13Speaker 11: that record. I don't even think it's important. The records
- 30:18Speaker 11: I will remember are all those conference championships at Baylor,
- 30:22Speaker 11: twenty three, eleven of them in a row. The record
- 30:26Speaker 11: of being at two institutions and winning national championships, getting
- 30:32Speaker 11: to Elite eights. I don't take those kind of things
- 30:35Speaker 11: for granted that I won't remember all those points scored.
- 30:39Speaker 11: I really won't.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Okay, I ain't coach. I love that, and I think
- 30:44Speaker 5: we probably all knew the answer to that question. But well,
- 30:49Speaker 5: how much will you remember playing duke.
- 30:51Speaker 4: Earlier in the season.
- 30:52Speaker 5: I ask it that way because, as you know, sometimes
- 30:54Speaker 5: you play teams twice in the same year, even if
- 30:57Speaker 5: they're not in your conference, and so it's all ways
- 31:00Speaker 5: the back and forth. Probably the mental gymnastics of Okay,
- 31:03Speaker 5: that was early in the season. How much do we
- 31:06Speaker 5: take from that game? How much do we take from
- 31:08Speaker 5: Duke because at that time, right, they weren't playing like
- 31:11Speaker 5: they were at the end of the season. And so
- 31:13Speaker 5: when you're putting your game plan together for that team,
- 31:17Speaker 5: how much do you go back because you do have
- 31:19Speaker 5: a game against them, and how much is maybe the
- 31:21Speaker 5: last let's say ten games.
- 31:23Speaker 11: Well, you do take a lot from that game with
- 31:26Speaker 11: the understanding they are better, they have fixed some things,
- 31:30Speaker 11: but guess what, we're better as well. But you do
- 31:33Speaker 11: take things from that game. Guys, they jumped on us
- 31:35Speaker 11: like white on right. Yeah, we were down fourteen or
- 31:39Speaker 11: fifteen to nothing or whatever it was, and we came
- 31:41Speaker 11: back and won by double digits. And so yes, indeed,
- 31:45Speaker 11: you go back and you go, well, they're not going
- 31:47Speaker 11: to change who they are and what they do. They're
- 31:49Speaker 11: just gonna perfect it more. It's a well balanced team,
- 31:55Speaker 11: a team that can score a lot of points, a
- 31:57Speaker 11: team that plays tough defense. And I think think we're
- 32:00Speaker 11: the same kind of teams. It was a high scoring game,
- 32:05Speaker 11: So I would imagine you're going to see a lot
- 32:08Speaker 11: of the same things, but a little bit better version
- 32:10Speaker 11: of each team.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Coach, you mentioned that you were about to get into meetings,
- 32:15Speaker 3: get into a little film studies. So Jake and I
- 32:18Speaker 3: the sport that we play, we had to be film
- 32:20Speaker 3: junkies all the time. So when you get into when
- 32:22Speaker 3: you get into prep work for a team and you
- 32:25Speaker 3: have a couple of days of prepare and get your
- 32:27Speaker 3: team ready, how much film work goes into it?
- 32:30Speaker 2: For the players?
- 32:32Speaker 3: I know there's a lot from the coaches standpoint, but
- 32:33Speaker 3: for the players, how much film work goes into it?
- 32:36Speaker 11: I put my and y'all gonna love this.
- 32:39Speaker 10: I know you will.
- 32:41Speaker 11: I put myself back to when I was a player.
- 32:46Speaker 11: Don't bore me for hours and hours and hours in
- 32:49Speaker 11: the film room, because you're gonna lose me. Get to
- 32:53Speaker 11: the point. Show me the amount of film we need
- 32:56Speaker 11: to see. Show it to me. Talk to me about
- 32:58Speaker 11: a scouting report. What do we need to do individually,
- 33:01Speaker 11: what do we need to do collectively? And let's get
- 33:04Speaker 11: on the floor and let's go do it. And I've
- 33:07Speaker 11: always taken that approach with me, So let's just say initially,
- 33:12Speaker 11: here we are and we've been assigned this team, and
- 33:15Speaker 11: we have not played this team. Let's don't use Duke
- 33:18Speaker 11: or anybody we've played. Let's use Texas Tech for example.
- 33:22Speaker 11: We're gonna get in that film room and we're gonna
- 33:24Speaker 11: have it broken down in every area. They're fast breaks,
- 33:29Speaker 11: their defensive philosophy, Show how they defend, how many defenses
- 33:34Speaker 11: do they do, transition defense? Are they good at that?
- 33:38Speaker 11: You show all the little facets of the game, and
- 33:44Speaker 11: then you go over the written scout and report, and
- 33:46Speaker 11: you make them talk to you. You make them read
- 33:50Speaker 11: what each one of those players strengths and weaknesses are,
- 33:53Speaker 11: because it's the players that they're gonna have to guard.
- 33:56Speaker 11: For example, if Jada's Garden number two or whatever, the
- 33:59Speaker 11: point guard, she's got to read everything on there, and
- 34:02Speaker 11: it's not a page, it's six to eight points. And
- 34:05Speaker 11: then you tell them on the right hand side four
- 34:08Speaker 11: or five things we're going to take away when you're
- 34:11Speaker 11: guarding that young lady. And then we show them ways
- 34:16Speaker 11: to win the game. Here's what we have to do
- 34:18Speaker 11: collectively to win this basketball game. And then I would
- 34:21Speaker 11: say max maybe an hour, forty five minutes and then
- 34:28Speaker 11: you get on that floor and you do it. Then
- 34:30Speaker 11: throughout the next two or three days that you have,
- 34:34Speaker 11: you do ten fifteen minute little film sessions after breakfast
- 34:39Speaker 11: or before you know, just throw it at them or
- 34:42Speaker 11: just have it playing. Sometimes I'll have just a game
- 34:44Speaker 11: playing on the bus or on the plane, not to
- 34:47Speaker 11: bore them, but just to keep their mind on what
- 34:49Speaker 11: we're doing right now.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Catching up with LSU basketball coach Can mulki here on
- 34:55Speaker 5: OTV coach when you do have success like you had
- 34:59Speaker 5: against a good Texas Tech team, a ranked basketball team,
- 35:02Speaker 5: and the score ends up being what it is, I
- 35:04Speaker 5: always love picking your brain on things like this because
- 35:06Speaker 5: you've been through every situation. Is that something where you
- 35:09Speaker 5: try to say, hey, listen, it's not going to be
- 35:11Speaker 5: the same way, This's going to be a different game.
- 35:13Speaker 4: This seems going to be this, that and the other.
- 35:15Speaker 5: Or do you try to keep that confidence up and
- 35:17Speaker 5: you try to say, see, when you play your game,
- 35:20Speaker 5: when you play our style, when you buy in whatever
- 35:22Speaker 5: it is, this is what you can do. How do
- 35:24Speaker 5: you handle a game where you had so much success,
- 35:27Speaker 5: do you continue to highlight that or do you try
- 35:30Speaker 5: to let them know, hey, every game's going to be different.
- 35:32Speaker 5: We got to hit reset and get ready for this game.
- 35:35Speaker 11: The way I approach it is you knowledge what we
- 35:39Speaker 11: did good to get to this point from the previous game,
- 35:43Speaker 11: and then you put on that board. If what you
- 35:45Speaker 11: did yesterday still looks big to you today, then you
- 35:48Speaker 11: haven't done much today. Okay, let's erase that. Here's what
- 35:52Speaker 11: we have to do now for this opponent. And each
- 35:56Speaker 11: step of the way, you acknowledge what you did good,
- 36:00Speaker 11: you enjoyed in the moment, and then boom, we got
- 36:03Speaker 11: to get to work again.
- 36:04Speaker 10: Let's go.
- 36:06Speaker 3: All right, Couse, you give us a little bit of
- 36:07Speaker 3: that scouter report that you talk to your girls about.
- 36:09Speaker 3: I give us a little scouting report. Just a quick
- 36:11Speaker 3: overview of Duke's basketball team.
- 36:14Speaker 11: Duke is coached by Kara Lawson. For those that don't know,
- 36:17Speaker 11: she'll be our next Olympic coach. Kara played for Pat
- 36:20Speaker 11: Summit at Tennessee one or some national championships, been on
- 36:24Speaker 11: the Olympic teams. Kara is very defensive minded, but she
- 36:33Speaker 11: has a team that man, they take off. They run
- 36:37Speaker 11: the floor as post players that you know, run the
- 36:40Speaker 11: floor hard, score a lot of points. And if you
- 36:46Speaker 11: go back to our score when we played them last.
- 36:48Speaker 11: We scored ninety something points against them, and guys, we
- 36:51Speaker 11: got down big time in their at their place, and
- 36:54Speaker 11: I thought, oh so bull Wally came off the bench
- 36:58Speaker 11: and gave us a tremendous left and spark. But yet
- 37:03Speaker 11: we expect the same kind of games. They like to
- 37:08Speaker 11: pick you up in a full court press. Well, Texas
- 37:10Speaker 11: Tech like that too, but they never really got a chance.
- 37:13Speaker 11: We burned them a couple of times, and then our
- 37:16Speaker 11: defense was so good they never could go and get
- 37:19Speaker 11: in their full court press. So Duke obviously is going
- 37:23Speaker 11: to be more offensive talent, offensively talented, I think, than
- 37:29Speaker 11: Texas Tech. And it's going to be a typical Sweet
- 37:34Speaker 11: sixteen game. And the deeper you go, the harder it is. Guys,
- 37:38Speaker 11: A lot of a lot of these teams have a
- 37:40Speaker 11: lot of older players, experienced players, seniors and even nowadays
- 37:48Speaker 11: like Texas Tech, they have experience transfers. And what do
- 37:52Speaker 11: I mean by experience, People who've played at this level
- 37:55Speaker 11: that are either junior and seniors. So we've got experienced
- 37:59Speaker 11: players that we sure rely on our young ones as well.
- 38:04Speaker 4: Coach Kim Milk, you good enough to join us from Sacramento.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Coach.
- 38:07Speaker 4: We can't think enough.
- 38:08Speaker 5: We appreciate you changing the time and uh, you know,
- 38:11Speaker 5: still staying on Wednesday with us. We look forward to
- 38:13Speaker 5: it every single week. Best of luck coming up on Friday.
- 38:15Speaker 5: We're certainly all going to be watching here in ban Rouge.
- 38:18Speaker 11: God take care and have a great day, all.
- 38:20Speaker 4: Right, you as well. Kim Milky good enough to join
- 38:23Speaker 4: us here on O TV with Jake and the other guy.
- 38:28Speaker 2: It's not the other guy. My name is.
- 38:31Speaker 7: Still a little upside at Oscar.
- 38:33Speaker 4: I mean like if it was like the video.
- 38:37Speaker 5: If it was the off season, then yeah, probably, but
- 38:40Speaker 5: you know, just focus on you know, sweet sixteen. So
- 38:43Speaker 5: last time that Matt asked her a question that nobody
- 38:46Speaker 5: really understood and went down to Texas.
- 38:49Speaker 3: We talked about it, we thought about it. You made
- 38:52Speaker 3: it a good point. He won two ways go really
- 38:55Speaker 3: good or really bad.
- 38:57Speaker 4: I felt like between.
- 38:59Speaker 9: Somebody messaged me, yeah, last week when we were discussing
- 39:03Speaker 9: it on air, and they said that y'all were being
- 39:05Speaker 9: super beta about it.
- 39:09Speaker 8: What do you mean what what part like that y'all
- 39:11Speaker 8: wouldn't ask her.
- 39:12Speaker 5: If it was a different time of the year. But
- 39:14Speaker 5: I want I want coach focused on the main thing.
- 39:17Speaker 5: The main thing is the main thing right now, and
- 39:19Speaker 5: it wouldn't be my place to ask her. She knows
- 39:21Speaker 5: who I am.
- 39:23Speaker 2: It's a good point. Yeah, that's a good point.
- 39:27Speaker 8: She's like, yeah, Jake, that's why she doesn't remember your.
- 39:30Speaker 4: Name or Hester because she calls me by my last name.
- 39:32Speaker 8: Yeah, Hester, And.
- 39:36Speaker 7: I got a lump in my throat, Hester, and I
- 39:42Speaker 7: feel like someone else was there.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Maybe it's right, right, it could have gone one of
- 39:48Speaker 2: two ways. Odds are it's been good? Yeah?
- 39:51Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, but but like.
- 39:56Speaker 2: H sir, yeah, are you or me?
- 39:58Speaker 4: Or all right, we'll take a break.
- 40:01Speaker 5: I do want to, like, you know, quickly like the
- 40:03Speaker 5: worst kept secret and batteries talk about l shu's men's
- 40:06Speaker 5: basketball situation. Yeah, because we do need to talk about it.
- 40:10Speaker 5: And again it is the worst kept secret and the
- 40:12Speaker 5: worst kept secret, and we all know the deal.
- 40:15Speaker 8: Do you have a general idea of it?
- 40:17Speaker 2: A general idea?
- 40:18Speaker 4: We'll talk about it when we come back on OTV.
- 40:20Speaker 7: Off the bench, all right, go to.
- 40:22Speaker 5: Russell Pools dot com, Russell pool Company. It is the
- 40:25Speaker 5: place that is going to give you your dream pool

- 40:37Speaker 5: pools and now you want to add to your dream pool. Also,
- 40:40Speaker 5: you can check out the financing options on the homepage. Also,
- 40:42Speaker 5: remember it is the one stop shot. It is the
- 40:45Speaker 5: construction part of your pool. It's the build of your pool,
- 40:48Speaker 5: and obviously like the design before you get there, but
- 40:50Speaker 5: also afterwards, it's the maintenance of your pool.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Over at Russell Pools dot com. Oh my god, they
- 40:55Speaker 2: are amazing. Over at Russell Pools the best pool company

- 41:04Speaker 2: wanting to do this pool for a couple of years.
- 41:06Speaker 2: We just keep putting it off.
- 41:06Speaker 3: I guess what, My kids keep getting older and older,
- 41:09Speaker 3: so it's like we have got to start this product.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Started talking to them. It's incredible.
- 41:13Speaker 3: You can take any dream and any design, any thought
- 41:15Speaker 3: of a pool. They can draw it with their landscape
- 41:17Speaker 3: architects on staff over there. They can design it, they

- 41:21Speaker 3: Russell Pools dot Com not.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Against rappers, but we are against those.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Thus off the bench presented by Hoodental.

- 42:21Speaker 5: top right corner of the website. If you are looking
- 42:23Speaker 5: for the best dental care, go to Hood Dental Care
- 42:26Speaker 5: again hood Dentalcare dot com.
- 42:32Speaker 4: All right, let's talk about this LSU men's basketball situation.
- 42:35Speaker 2: On three.
- 42:35Speaker 4: They just put out a post.
- 42:37Speaker 5: Lsuhead basketball coach Matt mcmnon's future is unclear. And when
- 42:40Speaker 5: I said it's like the worst kept secret in Matton Rouge,
- 42:43Speaker 5: we all know like the April first and when.
- 42:44Speaker 4: The buyout lowers, YadA, YadA, yadda.
- 42:46Speaker 5: We also know Will Wade is somebody that there's so
- 42:49Speaker 5: many people that either we're here or have come here
- 42:54Speaker 5: that have been with Wade, other places alive McNeice are
- 42:58Speaker 5: now here that won't Will weigh to, you know, be
- 43:01Speaker 5: the next basketball coach. I think that is something that
- 43:04Speaker 5: everybody can agree on, like we all know that information.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Now.
- 43:10Speaker 5: Why it's unclear is probably because like there's dollars and
- 43:13Speaker 5: cents to this deal and you pass the hat and
- 43:14Speaker 5: you're like making some calls, and I think over the
- 43:17Speaker 5: next I would say two days, three days, you'll probably
- 43:21Speaker 5: have a clear answer because you're going to see does
- 43:23Speaker 5: somebody want to wait outuntil April first for the buyouts
- 43:26Speaker 5: to go down. That's for multiple buyouts, not just the
- 43:28Speaker 5: guy that's here, or are you going to go ahead
- 43:31Speaker 5: and pull the trigger. So I think you'll know something
- 43:33Speaker 5: honestly in the next couple of days. And if it's
- 43:36Speaker 5: not Will Wade, then I think Matt McMahon probably comes
- 43:39Speaker 5: back if Will Wade wants to come here again, and
- 43:42Speaker 5: they can make it make sense and they can get
- 43:44Speaker 5: the donations in the hat.
- 43:45Speaker 2: So we're boom or bust.
- 43:46Speaker 4: That's what it feels like.
- 43:47Speaker 2: So either gonna be basketball fans or not? Is that
- 43:50Speaker 2: what we're sayings?
- 43:51Speaker 5: So what it feels like too, And look that and
- 43:53Speaker 5: I know it's kind of bluntly put, but that's the
- 43:55Speaker 5: way it is. And again, most of you already knew
- 43:57Speaker 5: this information. It's been out there for a while and
- 43:59Speaker 5: so any But it's like I've been told by sources.
- 44:02Speaker 4: No, everybody knows.
- 44:02Speaker 2: They didn't break it, that Will Wade might come.
- 44:06Speaker 5: Everybody knows the April first deadline and Matt's they didn't,
- 44:11Speaker 5: and Will's buy out at nc State change on April
- 44:13Speaker 5: the first.
- 44:13Speaker 2: People already knew that Will Waide might come, depending on
- 44:15Speaker 2: if he gets a bunch of money.
- 44:17Speaker 5: Well, if you can buy out their basketball coach and
- 44:22Speaker 5: also buy out his contract at nc State and then
- 44:26Speaker 5: give give him the money track and give him money
- 44:28Speaker 5: for a staff. How many people care about l SU basketball?
- 44:32Speaker 5: How many people with deep pockets care about LU basketball?
- 44:34Speaker 5: It's easily a simple math of it. I think it's like,
- 44:37Speaker 5: fool me once, shame when you fool me twice, shame
- 44:39Speaker 5: on me.
- 44:40Speaker 4: However, actually, George w Bus said, well, you're not gonna twice.
- 44:44Speaker 8: But Likenessee, I just what I've learned.
- 44:47Speaker 3: You fooled me during football. Yeah, you're not gonna fool
- 44:50Speaker 3: me again. If LSU wants the money, they're gonna find
- 44:52Speaker 3: the money. That's how what we have learned.
- 44:56Speaker 9: It's also like whenever the Lane Kiff and stuff was
- 44:59Speaker 9: start a really really ramp up where there's smoke, there's fire,
- 45:03Speaker 9: you know, and for a really long time people were
- 45:06Speaker 9: in denial about it, about Lane Kiffin, and then inside,
- 45:10Speaker 9: like the old Miss insiders started to kind of like
- 45:13Speaker 9: change their tune a little bit. N C State journalists
- 45:16Speaker 9: and people that cover and see stayed over there are
- 45:19Speaker 9: all basically like, yeah.
- 45:21Speaker 8: It's happening.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:23Speaker 9: So once they start to like kind of change their tune,
- 45:26Speaker 9: because last week they were adamant.
- 45:27Speaker 8: They were like, no, he's staying here. He loves Raleigh.
- 45:30Speaker 8: He like his wife's family is an hour down the road. Whatever.
- 45:34Speaker 8: Where there's smoke, there's fire for me.
- 45:37Speaker 3: And that's the thing. It's that that is what is happening.
- 45:40Speaker 3: You can everybody can connect the dots. There's a price
- 45:42Speaker 3: tag and will wait, we'll come for a price tag. Well,
- 45:45Speaker 3: LSU is making calls to the people that could potentially
- 45:48Speaker 3: pay and say, hey, do you want to do this
- 45:50Speaker 3: or not.
- 45:50Speaker 2: So the waiting game is waiting on those.
- 45:53Speaker 4: Too, Like, you know, they got to get all the
- 45:55Speaker 4: buyout money. They got to get will Wags money, staff money.
- 45:57Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 45:58Speaker 3: They are calling people with the they're calling the folks
- 46:01Speaker 3: that would write those checks and saying do you want
- 46:03Speaker 3: to do this or not? Do you want to do
- 46:04Speaker 3: this or not? And if they get enough yeses, then
- 46:06Speaker 3: they do it. So you have any of those people,
- 46:08Speaker 3: well we want.
- 46:09Speaker 4: It was twenty and fourteen this year, made it to
- 46:11Speaker 4: the NCAA Tournament.
- 46:13Speaker 5: The year before NC State was twelve and nineteen and
- 46:16Speaker 5: five and fifteen in the ACC. So certainly turned around
- 46:19Speaker 5: that program. So look again April first, that's a day
- 46:24Speaker 5: to pay attention to. But this could happen in the
- 46:26Speaker 5: next forty eight to seventy two hours. If it does
- 46:28Speaker 5: go down, all right, we'll see tomorrow. We love you,
- 46:31Speaker 5: We thank you, Enjoy the rest of the day.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Yesday.
- 46:34Speaker 5: Go to America mopter bench. All right, go to Rolses
- 46:38Speaker 5: dot com as well, go to Rouses dot com. When
- 46:42Speaker 5: you go into the website, always remember you check out

- 46:47Speaker 5: actually grocery shop on the website, But what you can
- 46:50Speaker 5: do is you can find the location that's convenient for
- 46:53Speaker 5: you and once you do find that location, it's going
- 46:55Speaker 5: to pull up all the weekly specials for your location,
- 46:59Speaker 5: and so you can go in and know exactly what
- 47:01Speaker 5: you're hunting for. But the chances are you're gonna find
- 47:03Speaker 5: much more because it is set up for your convenience.
